- 0:29Speaker 1: How you doing fantastic? How are you? Marximone?
- 0:32Speaker 2: I'm good, beautiful day. Now do you like to well,
- 0:36Speaker 2: you're all, You're in California, you're in Florida, you're used
- 0:38Speaker 2: to this. We haven't seen ady in a long time.
- 0:40Speaker 2: It's very good.
- 0:42Speaker 1: I hope you have the clothes for it.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Me not have the clothes for something.
- 0:48Speaker 1: That's true.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Uh Now, let me ask you Trump de arrangement syndrome question. Now,
- 0:53Speaker 2: sometimes you hate Trump, you don't, but it's always something specific.
- 0:55Speaker 2: I don't like what he did on the border. I
- 0:57Speaker 2: don't like this. I don't like but these people that
- 0:59Speaker 2: go nuts of anything he does. What is the cure
- 1:02Speaker 2: for that?
- 1:05Speaker 1: I don't know. I've wondered about that. I've asked some
- 1:08Speaker 1: of my New York Times reporter friends. Some of them
- 1:12Speaker 1: have it. Some of them don't. But as I said
- 1:17Speaker 1: in the theme of my last book, it's it's utterly counterproductive.
- 1:21Speaker 1: They can't they can't formulate a straight argument. It's just,
- 1:26Speaker 1: you know, just that he's a poopy head, and that's
- 1:28Speaker 1: supposed to be sufficient. And every everything he does they
- 1:31Speaker 1: put the worst possible interpretation on. Not to mention they're
- 1:34Speaker 1: getting awfully cliched. They've really got to stop comparing him
- 1:38Speaker 1: to a mafia don so old or talking about the
- 1:43Speaker 1: adults in the room, et cetera, et cetera. But anyway,
- 1:47Speaker 1: the New York Times reporters thought it would go away,
- 1:50Speaker 1: because I do think the New York Times became and
- 1:54Speaker 1: they are the most articulate version of liberal thought. But
- 1:57Speaker 1: when Trump came along, unfortunately, it shot up subscriptions to
- 2:02Speaker 1: the New York Times. But but I think their they're
- 2:06Speaker 1: reportage standards really drops uh to cover Trump. And and
- 2:11Speaker 1: so I've asked him, do you think it'll go back
- 2:13Speaker 1: to normal once he's gone. They assured me it would,
- 2:16Speaker 1: but I'm not sure it will or it has. I mean,
- 2:18Speaker 1: we had kind of an example of that during the
- 2:20Speaker 1: four years Biden was in office. Uh, and the shrillness
- 2:25Speaker 1: of the attacks. It's also a little bit like they
- 2:31Speaker 1: are the little boy crying wolf when when everything he
- 2:35Speaker 1: does leads to you know, fire alarms from them, How
- 2:41Speaker 1: are we supposed to know when there's actually something to
- 2:43Speaker 1: be concerned about.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Yeah. Also, whatever he does, this is it. He's finished.
- 2:47Speaker 2: It's over the Jesus, this is the end.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Kind of given up on that second second term since
- 2:55Speaker 1: they were so spectacularly wrong when he won a second term.
- 2:59Speaker 1: I think I think that's calmed down some of the
- 3:03Speaker 1: particularly girlish hysterics on the left when they saw that
- 3:09Speaker 1: accusing him of being a Russian Asian, a rapist, what
- 3:15Speaker 1: else for a king, cheat, a liar, a king? And
- 3:21Speaker 1: oh and of course what was it I can't even
- 3:23Speaker 1: remember how many felonies thirty four felonies. When they saw
- 3:27Speaker 1: that that woe did not work. In fact, backfired spectacularly
- 3:31Speaker 1: when he was re elected with an even larger popular
- 3:34Speaker 1: vote margin in twenty twenty four. That really settled a
- 3:38Speaker 1: lot of them down. Oops, are hysteria has not worked well.
- 3:42Speaker 2: The new one is you, but you cannot attack a pope.
- 3:45Speaker 2: You if you attack a pope, you can't have a
- 3:47Speaker 2: fight with him. Don't they remember he attacked and fought
- 3:49Speaker 2: with the pope eight years ago with the other pope.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Nobody remembers it.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Well, he is.
- 3:59Speaker 1: A barbarian lout.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Yes, that's the idea. No, Trump is, that's the idea.
- 4:06Speaker 1: It should have been attacked the way the Tom Holman did,
- 4:12Speaker 1: which I retweeted, I know early this morning. It was
- 4:15Speaker 1: put perfectly don't this is not This is not a
- 4:20Speaker 1: moment for sophomore tweets about or whatever his truth socially
- 4:26Speaker 1: about a pope. Homan was perfectly calm and serious, saying,
- 4:32Speaker 1: if he saw what I saw, he'd realized how many
- 4:36Speaker 1: were and described what he sees, you know, nine year
- 4:39Speaker 1: old girls being bleeding from being repeatedly raped and trafficked,
- 4:44Speaker 1: and opening trucks with twenty nine dead human bodies, including
- 4:49Speaker 1: children from the heat, trying to cross into the border,
- 4:52Speaker 1: et cetera, et cetera. Not to mention all the dead Americans,
- 4:55Speaker 1: he says, if the Pope saw what I saw, he
- 4:58Speaker 1: would not be so cavalier about all lives we're saving.
- 5:02Speaker 1: That's the way to respond.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Of course, But it's ten years now, when are people
- 5:06Speaker 2: going to realize that Donald Trump he's the most powerful
- 5:08Speaker 2: man in the world. He's this big CEO, he's the present,
- 5:11Speaker 2: but he's also a little Howard Stern. There's a Howard
- 5:13Speaker 2: Stern side to him. He's going to treat some outrageous things,
- 5:16Speaker 2: and he's going to make some bad jokes and what
- 5:18Speaker 2: you call him a barbarian lout. He's going to do
- 5:20Speaker 2: that once in a while. It's partly it.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Comes from Yeah, I'm well aware of that. I wish
- 5:24Speaker 1: he wouldn't. Most people have alternate I mean, there's a
- 5:28Speaker 1: different way every even children speak differently to their kindergarten
- 5:32Speaker 1: teacher than to their mother, than to their little playmates
- 5:36Speaker 1: than to you know, the next door neighbor. I suspect
- 5:42Speaker 1: mebas know how to do this, but our president does not.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Okay, But as you know, as you've seen with your
- 5:50Speaker 2: own eyes, behind the scenes, when nobody's looking, every politician
- 5:54Speaker 2: talks that way and does the same stuff. They just
- 5:56Speaker 2: do it privately, then in public they put on that
- 5:59Speaker 2: formal version of themselves. But he decided, like Howard Stern,
- 6:04Speaker 2: I'm just gonna go on the air and be myself,
- 6:06Speaker 2: no filter. What's wrong with that?
- 6:09Speaker 1: I am completely rejecting being acceptable marksimone miss me, continues
- 6:17Speaker 1: to say it in that beautiful radio voice you have,
- 6:20Speaker 1: which almost is luring me in. But I'm sorry I
- 6:24Speaker 1: rejected in dial all right.
- 6:25Speaker 2: But it was the same thing with Howard Stern when
- 6:28Speaker 2: he came along all the old radio guys. Okay, that's funny,
- 6:32Speaker 2: but but not this. He went too far, and he's
- 6:34Speaker 2: always going to go too far.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I never really cared for Howard Stern. I thought he
- 6:39Speaker 1: had some funny people on his program, but I thought
- 6:41Speaker 1: he also was a barbarian lout.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Okay, but there's a place for barbarian loud.
- 6:48Speaker 1: By the way, nobody would elect him president.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Well that's true. What about the Swallwell, this is like
- 6:56Speaker 2: the other Epstein, isn't it. I Mean, here they got
- 6:58Speaker 2: an Epstein in their midst and their cover it up
- 7:00Speaker 2: for all this time.
- 7:02Speaker 1: It's I'm it's it's stunning. It's stunning, all these girls
- 7:07Speaker 1: coming forward. It does remind me of Bob Packwood and
- 7:15Speaker 1: for your for your younger listeners, the Democrats have a
- 7:18Speaker 1: habit of doing this when they don't need a politician anymore.
- 7:21Speaker 1: They are well aware. I mean, all these Democrats coming out,
- 7:25Speaker 1: all these girls coming out. I think you and I
- 7:28Speaker 1: were the only people who didn't know about this, Mark Simone,
- 7:32Speaker 1: So why do they hit him down on it? Because
- 7:34Speaker 1: they want to get him out of the race for governor.
- 7:36Speaker 1: He's considered the most moderate of the Democratic candidates. So
- 7:39Speaker 1: the same thing happened a million years ago. I mean,
- 7:41Speaker 1: it's happened a million other times, but it was just
- 7:44Speaker 1: so obvious this quote. Republican member of the of the Senate,
- 7:50Speaker 1: Senator Bob Packwood was the Rhino of his day, really
- 7:55Speaker 1: really really pro abortion. So the Democrats wanted him for
- 7:58Speaker 1: his pro abortion when they didn't need him anymore. It
- 8:02Speaker 1: was the first year, it was when Clinton was elected.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Clinton had a Democrat House, Democrat Senate large enough majorities
- 8:09Speaker 1: they didn't need this rhino Republican anymore. And suddenly the
- 8:13Speaker 1: floodgates open. Every single member of the Democratic Party knew
- 8:18Speaker 1: about it, all these women stepping forward, but no, they
- 8:21Speaker 1: just kept their lips zipped because they wanted to keep
- 8:24Speaker 1: him in office. And you do see that with a
- 8:26Speaker 1: swallow one thing. One thing. I mean, I've been so
- 8:31Speaker 1: distracted by the fact that all of these girls were
- 8:34Speaker 1: so intoxicated they didn't remember what happened. But since that
- 8:39Speaker 1: they had been raped. The next day, I will I
- 8:41Speaker 1: will repeat my warning to the female sex. Really a
- 8:48Speaker 1: bad idea to get so drunk that you can't walk
- 8:51Speaker 1: or remember what happened to you. Really, really, besides being unladylike,
- 8:57Speaker 1: bad things can happen. One thing I've heard anyone mentioned,
- 9:01Speaker 1: and I suppose she's better off this way.
- 9:04Speaker 3: But oh my gosh, what about Smallwell's wife? No, yeah, oh,
- 9:11Speaker 3: there's that deep sensitivity from marksimho, what didn't.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Really feel sorry for? I mean, she has three little kids.
- 9:21Speaker 1: She thinks she's, you know, on easy street. Married this
- 9:24Speaker 1: this you know well, certainly by the standards of congressome,
- 9:29Speaker 1: particularly the Democratic Party, this handsome congressman on his way up,
- 9:34Speaker 1: uh has a wonderful wife, and suddenly she finds out this.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I don't know what. I guess you
- 9:45Speaker 1: divorce him, but it's pretty awful.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Hey, the gil Go Beach mass murderer. That wife hasn't
- 9:51Speaker 2: divorced him yet, So.
- 9:57Speaker 1: I think I think she's getting that divorce bothering the
- 10:01Speaker 1: hire an attorney.
