Ryan Lasko Outfielder Injury Update | Oakland Athletics News
Athletics prospect Ryan Lasko, once ranked 18th in the system, suffered a devastating injury during a game with the Midland RockHounds after a hard collision in the outfield. The impact fractured his neck vertebra, requiring emergency spinal surgery. Though currently stable, swelling has left him without sensation in his lower body — a critical hurdle in his recovery. Once a fast-rising star who reached Triple-A in his rookie season, Lasko’s future is now uncertain, but fans and the organization are holding tight, hoping for a full comeback.
