- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome back to Cleason. Convos presented by State Farm. Don't
- 0:03Speaker 1: sell it for any insurance unless it's State Farmed. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: would like to welcome my quarterback Marcus to the show.
- 0:08Speaker 2: How you're doing, brother, good brother, Thank you for having me?
- 0:10Speaker 3: For sure? For sure?
- 0:11Speaker 1: All right, We're going to start the show off with
- 0:13Speaker 1: playing a game called press are release press meaning false,
- 0:17Speaker 1: release meaning true?
- 0:18Speaker 3: Okay, got it?
- 0:20Speaker 1: Pressure release. You played through an injury your second year
- 0:23Speaker 1: at Oregon. The least it is true release police, So
- 0:27Speaker 1: you played through an MCLs brain, I did pressure release?
- 0:31Speaker 3: You knew the Titans would take you before Draft night?
- 0:34Speaker 1: Press you potentially thought you was going to the Eagles
- 0:38Speaker 1: with Chip Kelly.
- 0:39Speaker 3: How was Draft night for you?
- 0:42Speaker 4: It was, Yeah, it was, It was different. It was
- 0:46Speaker 4: wasn't sure. You know, your agent always kind of has
- 0:48Speaker 4: like an idea of like, hey, these are kind of
- 0:50Speaker 4: the teams, maybe we're thinking of the night before the drift.
- 0:54Speaker 4: He looked at me, he goes, honestly, have no idea,
- 0:56Speaker 4: So just kind of enjoy it. And when I got
- 0:59Speaker 4: picked second overall was crazy, crazy moment, but definitely surreal and.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Yeah, just was a weird kind of night before.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Yeah, kind of the same thing with you know, my
- 1:10Speaker 1: my draft process. I kind of knew if I made
- 1:13Speaker 1: it to pick thirty six where I was going, because
- 1:15Speaker 1: you know, I played in the Senior Bowl with Couch
- 1:17Speaker 1: and the handing them, and you know, they gave me
- 1:19Speaker 1: they words like, hey, bro, if you're there on the
- 1:20Speaker 1: board by the time it's time for us to pick it,
- 1:22Speaker 1: they were gonna make that big. So once I seen
- 1:24Speaker 1: it was getting closer and closer, I'm like, yeah, I'm
- 1:26Speaker 1: about to.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Be a Niner.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Then my agent called and that's how it went. So, Pressure, release,
- 1:31Speaker 1: we have two more for you. Your first career play.
- 1:33Speaker 3: I've touchdown pass was to yourself release how like I
- 1:39Speaker 3: informed me.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Actually was at Arrowhead against Kansas City and it was
- 1:45Speaker 4: a third and goal from like the six or seven
- 1:48Speaker 4: yard line. Scrambled out, Oh, sorry, excuse my language. They
- 1:53Speaker 4: got it up there, trying to make a play, try
- 1:57Speaker 4: to throw the back of the end zone the CD revis
- 2:03Speaker 4: At first, I didn't know account it, so I wasn't
- 2:04Speaker 4: like really celebrating.
- 2:06Speaker 3: So is that like, is that a rushing touchdown or
- 2:08Speaker 3: a passing touchdown? Oh? Wow, that's lit.
- 2:12Speaker 1: All right, we have one more for you, Pressure, release
- 2:14Speaker 1: you ran in the dan Quinn on purpose on display.
- 2:20Speaker 2: I felt so so bad for my guy.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Oh man, do you remember do you remember what dan
- 2:25Speaker 1: Quinn said after that?
- 2:28Speaker 3: I don't kind of like a blackout moment.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Uh yeah, I felt so bad. I mean it was necessary,
- 2:34Speaker 2: it was unnecessary though. I was like, I was like
- 2:37Speaker 2: a yard out of bounce already?
- 2:38Speaker 3: Did we get the flag and get the flag on it?
- 2:43Speaker 3: All right? Now we're going to play a game called
- 2:45Speaker 3: Who's that Quarterback?
- 2:46Speaker 1: We're going to show a black and white video of
- 2:48Speaker 1: the quarterback in the loop and you're going to.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Get the quarterback. Some are former teammates.
- 2:53Speaker 1: All right, you ready, ready, all right, let's see the
- 2:56Speaker 1: first one.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Bro, Jay hurts.
- 3:11Speaker 3: That's that's definitely all right?
- 3:14Speaker 2: We went and what we went? What?
- 3:16Speaker 3: What do you like about his game?
- 3:17Speaker 2: Oh?
- 3:18Speaker 3: Bro?
- 3:18Speaker 4: I being around him for a year, Like his demeanor
- 3:22Speaker 4: is one of the best that I've been around. And
- 3:26Speaker 4: he always finds a way to make plays regardless of
- 3:29Speaker 4: the situation.
- 3:30Speaker 2: He seems to play better.
- 3:31Speaker 4: When the games are at its highest. And uh ben
- 3:35Speaker 4: a fan and it was cool to be in a
- 3:36Speaker 4: room with him for a year, and you know, I'm.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Excited to see how he continues to grow.
- 3:40Speaker 3: So what was it like being his being his teammate?
- 3:43Speaker 2: Yeah, man, he's uh, it's impressive.
- 3:46Speaker 4: His his leadership, like the way that he commands the room,
- 3:49Speaker 4: the way he's able to just communicate to me, it's
- 3:53Speaker 4: no surprise at the success that he's had just based
- 3:56Speaker 4: on who he is as a leader. And then on
- 3:58Speaker 4: top of that, like he's he's a great athlete and
- 4:00Speaker 4: he finds ways to make plays with his legs in
- 4:02Speaker 4: his arm and it's it's been impressive to see and
- 4:05Speaker 4: he's been on a hot streak right now for show?
- 4:07Speaker 1: All right, well, all right, he got the first one,
- 4:09Speaker 1: so we one for one right now, let's see the
- 4:12Speaker 1: second video are actually not hard?
- 4:14Speaker 2: We can.
- 4:19Speaker 3: That's Jay, you see now that one's hard?
- 4:22Speaker 4: All right?
- 4:23Speaker 3: He gets that one off the most, So mark two
- 4:25Speaker 3: for two. What do you like about Jake's game?
- 4:29Speaker 4: First and foremost, just like he's such a great athlete
- 4:33Speaker 4: and his ability for I mean, throwing the ball, running
- 4:38Speaker 4: the ball. I think what is very underrated and people
- 4:41Speaker 4: don't realize is how smart of a football player he
- 4:44Speaker 4: is and his ability to recognize defensive coverages, blitz patterns.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Quick story, like we're getting ready to play Tampa last year,
- 4:53Speaker 4: and most people would know, like you know, Todd Bowles
- 4:56Speaker 4: brings all sorts of different pressures and going into the
- 5:00Speaker 4: like we had talked about, like, hey, if you get
- 5:01Speaker 4: these certain looks, like feel free to just full side
- 5:04Speaker 4: the protection. And for rookie quarterback in that moment on
- 5:08Speaker 4: the road in a playoff game, he's sliding protections, he's
- 5:11Speaker 4: getting our guys in the right positions, he's making huge
- 5:14Speaker 4: throws and third down. Like to see that growth through
- 5:17Speaker 4: that year and to see what he did in that game,
- 5:19Speaker 4: I mean, he's he's.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Got it all and hopefully continues to stay healthy and get.
- 5:23Speaker 1: To going for sure for sure. What is it like
- 5:26Speaker 1: being teammates with another Heisman quarterback?
- 5:29Speaker 2: Uh, It's it's fun.
- 5:31Speaker 4: I think it's it's such a cool people call it
- 5:34Speaker 4: like fraternity, right, but there's a lot of things that
- 5:37Speaker 4: we're able to relate on and to be able to
- 5:41Speaker 4: have that in the room, to have that relationship, it's
- 5:45Speaker 4: been cool and it's crazy to think that. I mean,
- 5:48Speaker 4: we're like I think he got he wanted ten years
- 5:51Speaker 4: after I did.
- 5:55Speaker 2: But it's cool to be in the room with him.
- 5:56Speaker 4: And yeah, like I said, it's just it's fun to
- 5:59Speaker 4: to be able to kind of to talk about things
- 6:00Speaker 4: like that.
- 6:01Speaker 3: No for suw. So Marcus is two for two. All right,
- 6:05Speaker 3: let's run the third one.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Oh? Is that Josh Allen?
- 6:21Speaker 3: Definitely? All right? There we go. All right, Marcus is
- 6:23Speaker 3: three for three once again?
- 6:26Speaker 1: What do you think separate him for other guys in
- 6:28Speaker 1: the league?
- 6:30Speaker 2: His his creativity I think is unmatched.
- 6:34Speaker 4: His ability to improvise, just like that touchdown there, Like
- 6:39Speaker 4: it puts such a hard It puts defenses in such
- 6:44Speaker 4: a dilemma like how do you what are you supposed
- 6:46Speaker 4: to do? Like they have the perfect coverage here, and
- 6:48Speaker 4: he finds a way to score thirty or touchdown Like
- 6:51Speaker 4: it's tough to defend him. And the more that he
- 6:54Speaker 4: gets out of the pocket, I think the better. And
- 6:57Speaker 4: it's no surprise he's the he's the MVP.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Non facts. All right, we got two more for you.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Can you play the fourth video? Three for three? Come on, man,
- 7:06Speaker 3: three for three. It's gonna take you.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I think it's gonna take you a while to get
- 7:10Speaker 1: this one.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Oh, have a hint for you, all right, I take
- 7:24Speaker 2: the hint.
- 7:25Speaker 1: All right, AFC East quarterback, what's not too he's not
- 7:34Speaker 1: joint practice.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Oh Drake may nice.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Uh three and a half, I give him three and
- 7:39Speaker 1: a half. As you're watching him, do you think he's
- 7:42Speaker 1: living up to the hype?
- 7:44Speaker 4: Yes, yes, I think the growth from year one year
- 7:48Speaker 4: two is obvious. What they're doing with him offensively, putting
- 7:53Speaker 4: him in situations to basically win the game and put
- 7:58Speaker 4: the ball in his hands says a lot about what
- 8:01Speaker 4: that team thinks about him. And he's stepped up to
- 8:05Speaker 4: plate every single time. So I really think that as
- 8:08Speaker 4: he continues to grow and that offense continues to mature
- 8:11Speaker 4: like they're gonna be, they're gonna be a force to
- 8:12Speaker 4: be reckon with for sure.
- 8:14Speaker 3: For sure.
- 8:14Speaker 1: All Right, Markus is three and a half. I wouldn't
- 8:16Speaker 1: give him the hope for Let's run the last one.
- 8:29Speaker 1: There we go, all right, we're four and a half.
- 8:33Speaker 1: What do you take pride in as in being a quarterback?
- 8:37Speaker 4: Oh man, I think the competition aspect, the challenge week
- 8:43Speaker 4: to week, the leadership, being able to lead a group
- 8:48Speaker 4: of guys in trying to attain the same goal. I
- 8:52Speaker 4: think that's such a cool and fun challenge and it's
- 8:57Speaker 4: a little egotistical. I love having the ball in my
- 8:59Speaker 4: hand every play right, Yeah, and making a difference in
- 9:02Speaker 4: the game.
- 9:04Speaker 2: So those all kind of play a part in it.
- 9:09Speaker 4: But I do love the competition aspect and having the
- 9:11Speaker 4: challenge week two week.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Now for sure. What other quarterbacks have you learned from
- 9:15Speaker 3: in your career?
- 9:17Speaker 2: So many, so many.
- 9:19Speaker 4: My time in Tennessee with Matt Castle and Alex Tanney,
- 9:22Speaker 4: and then also just in Vegas with Derek another guy
- 9:26Speaker 4: who I think, through his career is very underrated, one
- 9:30Speaker 4: of the smartest guys I've ever been around, getting in
- 9:33Speaker 4: and out of plays. And then yeah, I just I
- 9:37Speaker 4: think being around Jay, being around Jay hurts like it's
- 9:42Speaker 4: fun to kind of see each guy and maybe there's
- 9:45Speaker 4: different things that I can learn from.
- 9:47Speaker 2: But one of the guys that I.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Learned part of the most from was Ryan Tannehill and
- 9:50Speaker 4: our time together in Tennessee and a guy that, through
- 9:54Speaker 4: his ups and downs, was able to really find a
- 9:58Speaker 4: confidence level and play at a high level.
- 10:00Speaker 2: And the way that he prepared week to week.
- 10:03Speaker 4: You know, there was little things that I just kind
- 10:05Speaker 4: of took from him and implemented into my process and
- 10:09Speaker 4: things that I'm still doing to this day. So appreciate
- 10:11Speaker 4: my time with him and shout out to him and
- 10:14Speaker 4: his family and his crew.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Yes, sir, yes, sir.
- 10:16Speaker 1: All right, so now we're going to talk about, you know,
- 10:18Speaker 1: your journey and how far you came, and we're going
- 10:20Speaker 1: to talk a little Commanders football. So we played versus
- 10:22Speaker 1: the Raiders this year, your former team. A clip of
- 10:25Speaker 1: you talking about your journey surface after the game. Describe
- 10:28Speaker 1: your emotions after you had that win.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Yeah, a lot of emotions, and a lot of it
- 10:33Speaker 4: I think stems from it was the first time my
- 10:35Speaker 4: kids have seen me start as as an NFL player,
- 10:38Speaker 4: and you tend to get emotional and just thinking about
- 10:43Speaker 4: my journey and all the ups and the downs and
- 10:47Speaker 4: how God has kind of tailored my path hopefully create
- 10:50Speaker 4: a platform that I can share his love and share
- 10:52Speaker 4: with others.
- 10:54Speaker 2: So it was a.
- 10:56Speaker 4: Lot of emotions in one little like thirty seconds. But
- 11:01Speaker 4: it was good to kind of just feel those emotions
- 11:04Speaker 4: and be vulnerable.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Not for sure. So what was it like playing against
- 11:06Speaker 3: your former team?
- 11:07Speaker 2: It was fun. It was fun.
- 11:08Speaker 4: There's still a few guys there that I was close with,
- 11:12Speaker 4: and Max. It was fun to play against Max, And yeah,
- 11:17Speaker 4: it's a lot of good people there and always wish
- 11:19Speaker 4: them the.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Best, No, for sure. Okay, one last thing pertaining, you
- 11:23Speaker 1: know that. In one word, how would you distrab your journey?
- 11:29Speaker 2: Oh? One word grateful. I think.
- 11:35Speaker 4: In my time there's been a lot of ups and
- 11:36Speaker 4: there's been a lot of downs. But what I was
- 11:39Speaker 4: able to learn from those things. Hopefully I've been able
- 11:43Speaker 4: to pass along to other people and try to make
- 11:46Speaker 4: a difference. And you know what, at this point in
- 11:50Speaker 4: my career, like my journey's not done yet, so but
- 11:53Speaker 4: just thankful that I get to do this. Thankful I
- 11:54Speaker 4: get to live out a dream and I just love
- 11:58Speaker 4: being here for sure.
- 11:59Speaker 3: For sure.
- 12:00Speaker 1: So last year the Commanders played the Ravens and the
- 12:03Speaker 1: clip with you and Dare Harry Embrace and went viral.
- 12:07Speaker 3: What has your friendship? What has his friendship meant over
- 12:10Speaker 3: the years?
- 12:11Speaker 4: He's a special dude, man, special dude, great time together,
- 12:18Speaker 4: been through a lot and uh, yeah, that's my guy, man.
- 12:21Speaker 2: And it's cool to see him have success.
- 12:23Speaker 4: It's cool to see him as a father and what
- 12:26Speaker 4: he's been able to accomplish. Man, it's uh, it's cool.
- 12:31Speaker 4: And I'm thankful for our relationship. I'm thankful I get
- 12:33Speaker 4: I can pick up my phone at any point of
- 12:34Speaker 4: time and reach out to him and he'll hit me
- 12:36Speaker 4: back right away.
- 12:37Speaker 2: So that guy means the world to me for show show.
- 12:40Speaker 1: All right, So the Netflix Quarterback Show. Both of us
- 12:44Speaker 1: were also on the Netflix show Receivers and Quarterbacks.
- 12:47Speaker 3: How was the experience for you?
- 12:49Speaker 2: It was cool. It was cool. It was something that
- 12:55Speaker 2: looking back on, I'll probably never do again.
- 12:57Speaker 3: But I.
- 12:59Speaker 4: Did appreciate the fact that they got certain aspects of
- 13:04Speaker 4: my life on documented. One of those things being we
- 13:08Speaker 4: got to have Macaiah's you know, when they were going
- 13:13Speaker 4: through the pictures and seeing her before she was born,
- 13:16Speaker 4: Like that was cool, and we got to keep those
- 13:19Speaker 4: Our group that we had that followed us around were unbelievable,
- 13:23Speaker 4: Like they very just like kind and generous and made
- 13:29Speaker 4: sure that we felt comfortable in every aspect of it.
- 13:31Speaker 2: So I think, all in all, the experience was good.
- 13:35Speaker 4: But man, I'm such a private person that it's hard
- 13:37Speaker 4: to say I would do that again.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I definitely was on the Receiver Show. I think
- 13:41Speaker 1: I think the accident that I liked about it is
- 13:44Speaker 1: like you kind of get a glimpse of like what
- 13:46Speaker 1: it's really like, but not showing too much, but showing
- 13:49Speaker 1: enough of like you know what I'm saying, stuff we
- 13:50Speaker 1: go through daily, stuff that we have to do to
- 13:52Speaker 1: make sure our body's right. Is that and the third
- 13:54Speaker 1: and just give them the glimpse of the family, you know,
- 13:56Speaker 1: the stuff that we do outside of ball. I kind
- 13:59Speaker 1: of took to the team down to the South Carolina
- 14:01Speaker 1: game and you know, it's just stuff like that, just
- 14:03Speaker 1: you know, giving them a glimpse of that.
- 14:06Speaker 3: What was that season like for you while filming the show?
- 14:09Speaker 2: Uh, yeah, it was tough. It was tough.
- 14:13Speaker 4: Had some moments where we played well, had some moments
- 14:15Speaker 4: where didn't play well. All of that was kind of
- 14:19Speaker 4: wrapped up and my wife and I were having expecting
- 14:24Speaker 4: our first child doing the Nightflick show, so it was
- 14:28Speaker 4: like there was a lot going on. Unfortunately, at the
- 14:31Speaker 4: end of it, it didn't pan out I think the
- 14:33Speaker 4: way that we all had hoped. But I do looking
- 14:38Speaker 4: back on it, I'm grateful that I had the opportunity
- 14:40Speaker 4: to play there and Atlanta is a great city.
- 14:43Speaker 2: It was enjoyable to play there.
- 14:44Speaker 4: And the end of it, it wasn't meant to be,
- 14:47Speaker 4: and that's it is what it.
- 14:48Speaker 3: Is, not for sure.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Kind Of reflecting back to how femine was for me,
- 14:53Speaker 1: like when I lose, I don't want to do nothing.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Like they'd be like, yo, we gotta do this. I'm like, well,
- 14:59Speaker 1: like do I got to? Can we like push it
- 15:01Speaker 1: back a couple of days? Like this is there? But
- 15:03Speaker 1: that was like the only down like the only downside
- 15:06Speaker 1: of it. Like when we lose, he's like, you still
- 15:07Speaker 1: gotta do it, and like answer the questions and do that.
- 15:11Speaker 1: But signing with the Commanders, speak about your journey. This
- 15:14Speaker 1: is your second year now with the commanders. Why did
- 15:17Speaker 1: you sign here?
- 15:18Speaker 2: Oh man?
- 15:19Speaker 4: It uh really started with d Q and they gave
- 15:22Speaker 4: me a call during free agency and he basically kind
- 15:25Speaker 4: of laid out like what his vision.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Was, and I believed it.
- 15:29Speaker 4: I thought what he had in mind, how he was
- 15:32Speaker 4: portraying it to me, that I could be a part
- 15:34Speaker 4: of it and make a difference. And it's been for me,
- 15:38Speaker 4: one of the best decisions that I've done in my career.
- 15:40Speaker 2: I've enjoyed it.
- 15:42Speaker 4: I've enjoyed being around Cliff and Brian and the rest
- 15:45Speaker 4: off into staff, Like we got such a good group
- 15:47Speaker 4: of guys here that it makes coming into work fun.
- 15:50Speaker 4: It makes it not feel like work at all and
- 15:53Speaker 4: it's it's been enjoyable and I'm excited to be back.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Nah for sure.
- 15:56Speaker 1: So you play with many great quarterbacks, Jaclyn Hurs, Derek
- 16:00Speaker 1: Are and of course Jayden Daniels.
- 16:02Speaker 3: What stands out about JD.
- 16:03Speaker 4: Five oh Man We kind of talked about a little
- 16:07Speaker 4: bit earlier, but like, I think his football IQ has
- 16:11Speaker 4: been what's so impressive. Obviously, all the physical traits are there.
- 16:16Speaker 4: He's able to make people miss, he's able to create,
- 16:19Speaker 4: He's able to throw all the throws that you could
- 16:21Speaker 4: ever ask for a quarterback. But what he can do
- 16:26Speaker 4: in getting our guys in and out of the right place,
- 16:31Speaker 4: changing protections, it's it's been very, very impressive. And for
- 16:35Speaker 4: a guy that's only been in this league for two years,
- 16:38Speaker 4: I really think that it's just kind of stepping and
- 16:40Speaker 4: growing and he's just scratching the surface.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Nah for sure.
- 16:43Speaker 1: We mentioned Jalen Hurts and you had a brief stay
- 16:46Speaker 1: in Philly. What is it like playing against them twice
- 16:49Speaker 1: a year?
- 16:51Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 16:51Speaker 2: It First of all, Philly like their fans for.
- 16:57Speaker 4: Philadelphia itself, like it was it was awesome to play with.
- 17:00Speaker 4: The fans are great, the atmosphere for games are unbelievable.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Now being on the other side of it, you know,
- 17:08Speaker 4: going to Philly and having to experience that as the
- 17:11Speaker 4: away team, it is tough. But I think all in
- 17:14Speaker 4: all like that is such a great sports city, sports town,
- 17:18Speaker 4: and my wife and I really enjoyed our time there.
- 17:21Speaker 1: No, for sure, you know, now it's time to talk
- 17:24Speaker 1: about us a little bit, you know, dealing with a
- 17:25Speaker 1: few injuries, looking ahead to playing Kansas City. What are
- 17:28Speaker 1: the challenges that you think we'll be facing playing Kansas City.
- 17:33Speaker 4: Well, obviously, the atmosphere to me loud. They have been
- 17:37Speaker 4: playing well on both sides of the ball. Defensively, they've
- 17:41Speaker 4: got a great scheme. Their defensive coordinator has been there
- 17:44Speaker 4: for a long time, has done a lot of great
- 17:46Speaker 4: things and putting their guys in positions to succeed. And
- 17:49Speaker 4: then obviously Mahomes and those guys on the other side
- 17:52Speaker 4: of the ball, they do unbelievable jobs. So yeah, it's
- 17:55Speaker 4: a great challenge and I think one that we're up
- 17:58Speaker 4: for and we're looking forward to.
- 18:00Speaker 1: For sure, we definitely have a challenge on our hands
- 18:02Speaker 1: with you know, Patty Mahomes back there, and you know
- 18:04Speaker 1: they're riding the high horse, right now they won three
- 18:06Speaker 1: of their last four games, and Monday Night football, Like
- 18:09Speaker 1: you said, like, the atmosphere is going to be crazy.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I think I've played the Chiefs probably like four times.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I think I'm like one and four right now. So
- 18:17Speaker 1: let's see can we turn this around? For sure?
- 18:19Speaker 2: All right?
- 18:20Speaker 1: Now it's time for the don't settle segment presented by
- 18:22Speaker 1: State Form. And you're eleven seasons as a quarterback. You
- 18:24Speaker 1: were throwing exactly one hundred touchdown passes. For this segment,
- 18:28Speaker 1: we're going to see if you can remember which career
- 18:31Speaker 1: touchdown pass went to which player?
- 18:33Speaker 3: Are you ready?
- 18:34Speaker 2: I think so?
- 18:35Speaker 1: For your first career touchdown pass, was it Kendlewright or
- 18:40Speaker 1: Henry or Harry Douglas.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Took an RPO?
- 18:44Speaker 3: What was that moment like for you?
- 18:47Speaker 2: Oh man? Surreal?
- 18:48Speaker 4: Like you can test to it, just like playing your
- 18:51Speaker 4: first NFL game. Really like in that moment, things are
- 18:57Speaker 4: kind of clicking and removing the ball and for kid
- 19:00Speaker 4: to take it all way to the house was a
- 19:01Speaker 4: special moment.
- 19:02Speaker 3: For sure, for sure? All right?
- 19:03Speaker 1: For your twenty fifth career testdown pass, was it Andre
- 19:07Speaker 1: Johnson or Delaney Walker?
- 19:09Speaker 3: Oh?
- 19:09Speaker 2: What a question I'm gonna say Delaney Walker.
- 19:12Speaker 3: Definitely was Delaney Walker. What was it like playing with those.
- 19:14Speaker 4: Guys man Dude, Special, Special Special and just being around
- 19:19Speaker 4: them in the locker room, like getting to know them,
- 19:21Speaker 4: but also like hearing some of the stories from Andre
- 19:24Speaker 4: and like his Hall of Fame career and being around Delaney,
- 19:28Speaker 4: Like Delaney has been, hands down, like one of my
- 19:31Speaker 4: favorite teammates I've ever been around, and still to this day,
- 19:34Speaker 4: like we still get together and just catching up on
- 19:36Speaker 4: the stories.
- 19:37Speaker 2: It's it's it's cool for us.
- 19:39Speaker 3: All right. For your fifthiest test testdown pass, was it
- 19:44Speaker 3: Richard Matthews or DeMarco Murray?
- 19:48Speaker 4: Let me say Rishard Matthews Or is that I said Richard?
- 19:54Speaker 3: Rishard? It looked like Richard. For your seventy fifth career
- 19:59Speaker 3: testdown pass? Was it a J. Brown or Corey Davis?
- 20:03Speaker 2: Oh, I'm gonna say Corey Davis.
- 20:09Speaker 3: It was definitely a J. Brown.
- 20:13Speaker 2: My dog. I'm sorry the other day, but.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Yeah, man kind of like what you like about his game?
- 20:19Speaker 1: You know, I can, I can. You know, I've been
- 20:21Speaker 1: I've been cool with Jay since you know, we played
- 20:23Speaker 1: them at Old Miss my last year of college, and
- 20:26Speaker 1: you know we've been you know, we got drafted together,
- 20:28Speaker 1: trained together, and still to this day, Like we was
- 20:30Speaker 1: talking literally yesterday just about ball life and all that.
- 20:33Speaker 1: So like overall, man, he's just outside of football, Like
- 20:36Speaker 1: it's what I like about him the most.
- 20:37Speaker 4: And yeah, he's such a good dude man, And I
- 20:40Speaker 4: think he gets a little bit of a bad rap,
- 20:43Speaker 4: but he's one of the most competitive people I've ever
- 20:45Speaker 4: been around, and competitors want the ball in their hands.
- 20:49Speaker 4: And I don't faultimate at all for the way he
- 20:52Speaker 4: feels at times, but he is a he is a
- 20:54Speaker 4: special player. And being around him for his rookie year
- 20:57Speaker 4: and seeing him growing to seeing who he is now,
- 20:59Speaker 4: like it's, uh, it's incredible, and he's got such a
- 21:02Speaker 4: great trajectory and just continue to do his thing for sure.
- 21:06Speaker 1: For your one hundredth career touchdown pass, was it Terry
- 21:09Speaker 1: McLaurin or Deebo Samuel?
- 21:11Speaker 2: My guy?
- 21:12Speaker 3: There we go? What did you see on the touchdown
- 21:14Speaker 3: pass versus the Falcons?
- 21:16Speaker 2: One on one?
- 21:17Speaker 4: I'm gonna get my guy shot and he made an
- 21:19Speaker 4: unbelievable play and great selling. The route was a fourth
- 21:23Speaker 4: and short double move and give him a chance.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Yeah, kind of like what I seen, Like I just
- 21:29Speaker 1: kind of seen that he was flat footed, so I
- 21:31Speaker 1: really didn't have to do too much with get him
- 21:33Speaker 1: tell his feet just a little bit, and you know,
- 21:34Speaker 1: Marky Stewart dot thanks for watching. Cleaton COO was presented
- 21:37Speaker 1: by State Form. Don't settle for just any insurance unless
- 21:40Speaker 1: it's state farmed
