- 0:30welcome. Let's see.
- 0:33We'll come on Bienvenidos, welcome back or welcome the
- 0:38first time to opening cons radio.
- 0:43I'm your host this evening, Duke.
- 0:45Later the second joined with my Co host Cosmic Hobo Cosmic say
- 0:51hi. Hi.
- 0:53All right, so our esteemed colleague Jar Jar Jabroni is
- 0:58still on vacation at the moment, so we're going to do our best to
- 1:02keep you all entertained and keep this show on track as best
- 1:07as it ever does while he's gone. Hold on vacation.
- 1:12Jar Jar is the sitting senator for the planet of Naboo, the
- 1:17Senate. The Imperial Senate is recessed
- 1:19right now as the ISB is shut down over, I don't know, some
- 1:25protests or something against, I don't know, a genocide, I don't
- 1:28know. But they're shut down.
- 1:30They're negligent in their duty. And he's off a home at Naboo or
- 1:34something with his fish people, I don't know.
- 1:41OK, I I was unaware. I thought he was on vacation
- 1:45eating dooner kebab, but I I stand corrected.
- 1:48Thank you for that. Yeah, but actually this.
- 1:52The Empire stands should be. Open.
- 1:54They should be open. Of a a comment that I just
- 1:57recently saw on one of our other videos.
- 1:59The comment was by Spicy SCO Seven, who said, I've listened
- 2:10to a handful of these shows now and I have a question.
- 2:14Is this actually a call in show or is it some kind of campy skit
- 2:19show? It feels like the same people
- 2:21every week doing characters and shit.
- 2:25First off, yeah, it is a call in show.
- 2:28You can join our discord at any time It's down below.
- 2:32I'm I'm you can't see what I'm pointing like you Scroll down
- 2:35like on your phone or or your computer and just just go down
- 2:39there and like all the links are there and you can join anyone.
- 2:44We once had a bunch of kids join and brigade us.
- 2:50So anyone, anyone can join. You're welcome to join the
- 2:55Discord, engage in the conversation.
- 2:58We'll call you up onto the couch.
- 3:00If you're already on this couch, you get a scoot over and make
- 3:03some room for the newbies. But yeah, every Wednesday night
- 3:07at 9:00 PM Eastern Time, this is the number one Star Citizen call
- 3:13in show that takes place on Wednesday nights at 9:00 PM and
- 3:18is hosted by Jar Jar Jabroni and and myself and Cobo.
- 3:23I haven't actually checked the numbers on that, but I believe.
- 3:26I think that's safe to say. Literally true.
- 3:28I think that's true. I think that's 100% true.
- 3:32So usually what we do here is we we have a question or a a topic
- 3:37of the evening, you know, just to get the juices flowing, get
- 3:41people thinking, get people talking.
- 3:43And we had a question this evening.
- 3:46Hobo do you remember what our question?
- 3:48Was Does Star Citizen have enough animals?
- 3:53Do they? Does Star Citizen have enough
- 3:56animals? Well, what do you think, hobo?
- 3:58What's your first thought on that?
- 4:00No, not not not yet that there. There's plenty they they've
- 4:05shown off like the space whales everyone wants.
- 4:09We get freaking plushes of the space whales but come on, give
- 4:12us the actual space whales. Like they introduced paws to
- 4:18protect animals. Shit, what's the It's the
- 4:23animal. It's the animal protection.
- 4:26You're like an animal protection thing in in the game.
- 4:29I didn't even know that. Yeah, Paws.
- 4:31Paws protect all wildlife. That's preserve all wildlife.
- 4:36Preserve all wildlife. Yeah, preserve all wildlife, I
- 4:39said. I had to look that up.
- 4:40Interesting. OK.
- 4:42Yeah, and, and the space whales are perfect for them because you
- 4:44got to protect the space whales. Come on.
- 4:49So you'd like to see how you just to stop teasing your whale?
- 4:52Stop teasing my whale. Get my whale in.
- 4:54Stop teasing the whale. Get the whale in there.
- 4:56And all the other animals and the.
- 4:58Other ones. Well, we're going to we're going
- 5:01to talk about some animals. We're going to talk about some
- 5:03animal gameplay. Just some general animal
- 5:07nonsense, more than likely. But to get us started with some
- 5:11nonsense, why don't we bring up our first caller here?
- 5:16And I think we said our first caller was was the blue guy.
- 5:18Unfortunately, right? Yeah.
- 5:20The alien. OK, You know him, you love him.
- 5:24Lord Anubis, come on up here. Well, apparently people don't
- 5:29love me because apparently I call in too much and I should
- 5:32really stop. No, that's not why.
- 5:34It's because you're an alien. Well see, it's you're.
- 5:39An alien. Ouch, I guess Alien is all about
- 5:43perspective. Yes.
- 5:46We've all learned something tonight.
- 5:47We have, we've had our, our, our learning lesson.
- 5:51Oh, we've got to get to pitch quite a way.
- 5:55Right. Oh no, we'll do that.
- 5:57We'll do that. OK.
- 5:58OK. A question.
- 5:58Do you want to get into? It first, but to answer that
- 6:00previous question, yes, this is a call in show, but we have like
- 6:034 people listening. So do you want to change it?
- 6:06Just fucking call in like seriously like we'd be happy to
- 6:09have you. I just do because like, these
- 6:12are great. Friends, we've had lots of
- 6:13listeners a few times and. Lots of calls.
- 6:16We have actually had quite a lot of callers, admittedly.
- 6:20Also check us out on YouTube, we got some great shorts on there.
- 6:23Good for a giggle. And and yeah, so if Anubis, if
- 6:27you're done insulting the show, we do have a question for this.
- 6:31Well, no 'cause you see the the intro.
- 6:35It's fantastic, it's beyond it. Love it.
- 6:39Thank you for your feedback. Mm hmm.
- 6:42Anyways, are there? Are there?
- 6:45Yeah, there's no good notes in it.
- 6:48I'll I'll say that anyways. All right, so today's question
- 6:51are, are there enough animals in Star Citizen?
- 6:57No. What are we missing?
- 7:01All right. Thanks for thanks for coming up.
- 7:02Yeah. Thanks.
- 7:03Bye. Where to go?
- 7:04From there, you know, I feel like every, I feel like every
- 7:07single episode, there's at least one one caller who does the, the
- 7:12single word response and then we're like, OK, all.
- 7:14Right. Cool.
- 7:15Well, I mean. That was that was what you
- 7:17think? So are there enough animals?
- 7:20No. Could there be more animals?
- 7:23Yes. Are they planning on more
- 7:25animals? Yes.
- 7:27Mm hmm. I'm not exactly sure where to.
- 7:30But are there enough animals for you at the moment in the game?
- 7:38So I mean, we don't have pets yet.
- 7:40That's true. We need pets.
- 7:42I want my space cap. Is that something that's
- 7:45actually going to happen? I've heard it was in the
- 7:47Kickstarter. Oh yeah.
- 7:50OK. What do you envision doing with
- 7:52this pet or pets? Like fucking magical adventures
- 7:57and shit. We're.
- 7:59We're going to like, run through the forest and encounter like a
- 8:04giant dog ferret dragon thing. And then, you know, like things
- 8:11are going to go bad and then there's like a tar pit and then
- 8:15and then I lose my pet. I think you've had a lot of slam
- 8:18tonight, have you? Haven't?
- 8:20And excuse me Sir, have you had any slam this evening?
- 8:23No I have not. I've only drank like 4 cruise
- 8:27lux so oh. That doesn't count.
- 8:30So that's one whole cruise lux of SLAM basically.
- 8:33That that's a lot of SLAM, actually.
- 8:34Yeah. So to answer that, yes, tons of
- 8:37SLAM. Good.
- 8:39OK, so you're going to drag your pet through that through the
- 8:42woods. If I got this straight, you're
- 8:44gonna drag it through the woods, have it in contact with some
- 8:49sort of dragon, and then you're going to drag it into the pit of
- 8:54despair where it's going to die. Drag it into the pit.
- 8:59No, I'm not going to drag it anywhere.
- 9:01It could walk OK. You know, it's, it's, it's
- 9:06doesn't have a choice 'cause it's, it's an MMO pet.
- 9:09But but yeah. And then we're also going to go
- 9:13on adventures where we, you know, like, like, oh, I want,
- 9:17I'm going to have pet Hornet. It would be pretty cool.
- 9:20Follow me around the space station, You know, like all the
- 9:25way through, like. Full size.
- 9:27Mates. Yeah, yeah, just full on Hornet,
- 9:31you know, F7A2. Just my my brain with the doors.
- 9:34A little bug. At first I I wasn't even
- 9:36thinking about the spaceship. I I was to be fair I was
- 9:40thinking of the bug too but the way he was describing I'm like
- 9:42oh he means the full size torn and then I'm questioning how
- 9:45does it fit through the doors? Well, it it's actually see a
- 9:51Hornet is based off of a an actual Hornet that lives on the
- 9:55Bannu home world, which happens to be equipped with missiles and
- 10:01and lasers. You know, there's been enough
- 10:03accusations of hacking directed in our direction lately.
- 10:08I don't think we need to make that worse by having Hornets
- 10:10flying around your head. Can you imagine space stations?
- 10:16I mean, to have one of those followed him, he'll have it land
- 10:18in the weirdest spots. Right.
- 10:22I think we could see that sort of thing with hackers someday.
- 10:25I I don't know, I think we should have a whole episode just
- 10:28on, on hacking and hackers. But at the same time, maybe that
- 10:32would bring too much attention to.
- 10:34To our hacking. Facilities.
- 10:36Oh, we, we, we don't want, we don't want attention to to the
- 10:39show or anything like that. That would be bad.
- 10:42No, that would be bad. So he was.
- 10:45What about the animals in game currently?
- 10:48What what's what's your interaction with them been like?
- 10:53I once like shot a couple in, in, in, in the facility and I
- 11:01guess I haunted a couple once. I mean, they're basically either
- 11:05obstacles or resources. There is no wildlife at the
- 11:08moment. And that that's that's
- 11:10supposedly going to change eventually, just like
- 11:14everything. But I mean, they probably will.
- 11:17It's not too hard to do that. They just have to create, create
- 11:19like migration patterns and I don't know, physicalize for
- 11:23something like that. You know, I know it's all
- 11:28coming. So I'm not exactly, I'm not, I'm
- 11:33not, I'm not exactly worried about it right now.
- 11:35I mean, it really doesn't affect too much.
- 11:36And we got each other to to shoot at and yell at and scream
- 11:39and global, you know, so it's no big deal.
- 11:43Global is its own form of PvP. Yes, that is the ultimate most
- 11:48refined PvP for the distinguished gentlemen.
- 11:53So you said that they they aren't wildlife, they're just
- 11:56obstacles or resources. At the moment, yeah.
- 12:00So what makes the change? When would they become wildlife
- 12:04in your opinion? When they actually like roam
- 12:09around and it's not something where they're just spawned in as
- 12:14as just a group just to be there for a mission.
- 12:20There has to be animals that you don't gather resources from.
- 12:24You know that they're just out there and they just do stuff
- 12:28you. Know no with no financial gain
- 12:31attached to it. Damn.
- 12:33Yes, yes, not everything is exploitable.
- 12:37Wow, my mind is blown. You know, maybe some animals
- 12:41that you know, just follow patterns that that they have
- 12:51their own little world. Just like how we have MPCS, they
- 12:55have animals that just do their own shit.
- 12:57I mean, MPCS don't do shit and got rid of ships that actually
- 13:02did stuff on their own. But that would be similar to
- 13:05what we'd be talking about is, you know, ships that just kind
- 13:08of just appear and do stuff and, you know, you want animals to do
- 13:12that, but. You want animals that will cower
- 13:15randomly, and you want spaceships that will migrate
- 13:19across the surface of a planet. Is that correct?
- 13:22He posing copion that go into quantum yes.
- 13:27You know, Chris probably sat down one day and was like, I
- 13:31want all these animals to have a full life cycle from birth to
- 13:37adulthood to an elderly state, and then they die and they go
- 13:42back into the earth and then cycle starts anew again.
- 13:48They physicalize their bones. Yeah, they physicalize the
- 13:51bones. They've got eggs that they hatch
- 13:53from. You can watch them come out of
- 13:56the eggs and like struggle with their legs like a newborn lamb.
- 14:01I 100% support this. I think this sounds like an
- 14:04amazing game. And they've got.
- 14:06Predators. Jurassic Park thing.
- 14:08Yeah, and a full ecosystem like come on.
- 14:12This is also my my favorite Christian personation ever.
- 14:17I like how the region changes as you go on through the sentence.
- 14:23Well, you know, he travels a lot.
- 14:24He. Just picks up accents as he
- 14:27goes. Yeah, as the as the plane is
- 14:29going over, you know, time zones, it changes the accent.
- 14:34That's how that works, right? That's how that works.
- 14:39Well, let's thank you. Anyways.
- 14:41Let's let's open the couch up a little bit here.
- 14:43I want you to scooch down and let's get our next caller up
- 14:47here and see what he has to say about tonight's question.
- 14:52Pluto Productions, what are you doing tonight?
- 14:55I'm doing all right. Had a bunch of blue stuff in the
- 14:58bathroom. I don't know what that's all
- 14:59about. I'm sorry, I'm sorry someone,
- 15:05someone never taught him to flush Pluto.
- 15:10Our question this evening Are there enough animals in Star
- 15:14Citizen or? Obviously not.
- 15:18OK. Cool.
- 15:20Great. Another one for the folks,
- 15:22folks. Why?
- 15:23Why is that obvious? Definitely need new animals.
- 15:27Well y'all y'all have already gone over this.
- 15:28We need friends, we need ambiance and also some enemies.
- 15:34So you want more ocopians? Got it.
- 15:37Not particularly. The idea of friends scares me.
- 15:43Do you have commitment issues? No, quite the opposite.
- 15:47Like I I love my fluffy little friends and I know how human
- 15:51beings who play video games are. So like what you know, is my
- 15:55fluffy buddy immortal or is is some griefernet dude going to
- 16:00roll up and and put a hole in my fluffy buddy's head?
- 16:05And you know the answer to that already.
- 16:09I don't let me just kid them with the mud.
- 16:10I know we are. Yeah.
- 16:17It would be cool to ride into battle with 50 tamed Copians
- 16:21though, you cannot deny that. You know, yeah, that would be
- 16:26pretty cool. But now we're getting to like,
- 16:30like Ark Survival Evolved, you know, running around with an
- 16:34army of tamed dodos, which is definitely something that I've
- 16:37done in that game. How'd that go out?
- 16:42It goes pretty well actually, just a lot of a lot of little
- 16:46little birds pecking away. 100 wild Wicklows.
- 16:52Yeah, maybe she that someone will definitely drop a bomb on
- 16:57you if you're running along with that.
- 17:03Are you are you familiar Pluto with the the Zdifopod?
- 17:12Can't believe I am. I am familiar with the micro
- 17:16tech Yeti. Here, I pulled him up on the
- 17:19stream we don't have. Pictures.
- 17:22Those are flat. I also have been made aware of
- 17:27flat cats. Oh yeah, I fucking want a flat
- 17:30cat so bad. Flat cats look very nice.
- 17:33That's high on my list. Flat.
- 17:36Cats. They're cats, yeah, but flat.
- 17:40They're cats, but they're flat. Yes.
- 17:43I wouldn't share but probably they're not flat, they're just
- 17:46buff like very strong cat with weird back issues.
- 17:56Interesting. OK, that is not a flat cat.
- 17:58That is a. That is a man.
- 18:00With a black dude, Dang. It so interesting thing about
- 18:05Black Cats is they're from Bradbury.
- 18:08You know that from the Chronicles of Mars series.
- 18:12Basically they, they are little pets that were like basically
- 18:18hairy, you know, like just pillows and they've heard when
- 18:22you pet them. Nothing to do with tribbles at
- 18:26all. OK.
- 18:30I believe the story with the story with flat cats go as they
- 18:35brought some cats to this terraformed world that had extra
- 18:39gravity to them. The cats being unable to walk
- 18:43simply just became flatter as they evolved into existence on
- 18:47this new world. And now we have flat cats.
- 18:51Natural Selection. OK bone crushing gravity.
- 18:58I feel like we're heading towards chair dogs.
- 19:05Chair dog. Anyone familiar with chair dogs?
- 19:08Is it like suck dog? It's a a thing out of the Dune
- 19:12universe where they are, you know, genetically modified bred
- 19:19dogs that are shaped like chairs and you sit in it and it likes
- 19:24it. Wait, so it's a dog and it's
- 19:27also bread, and then it's a chair too?
- 19:31No, no bread as in as in like when you don't, when you don't
- 19:34use protection on your bis, what's protection?
- 19:40OK. This sounds more like this
- 19:43sounds more like a mimic. It's just a chair that eats you
- 19:46on command. How much cocaine was Frank
- 19:49Herbert doing in the 80s or 60s? Sorry.
- 19:54I imagine quite a the spice must flow.
- 19:57Yeah, he loved cocaine and the light of Allah.
- 20:01That's like his two things. When?
- 20:05Beef swelling. Don't forget about beef
- 20:07swelling. Yeah.
- 20:10And and then like, didn't get along with who was it?
- 20:23Oh my God, who was the other main author around that time?
- 20:26That was really big. Heinlein.
- 20:29Orson Scott Card. No, I'll think of it later.
- 20:33Sorry about that. Now it's going to bug me, but I
- 20:35know he had a big beef with someone else.
- 20:37Let's. See.
- 20:41Herbert Beefin. Beefin.
- 20:46Beef. Lots of beef.
- 20:48Author thank Herbert. Apparently he wasn't, I guess, a
- 20:54huge fan of George Lucas. Well, I want to go back to the
- 21:04Zyfopod if I may, because Hobo and I were talking about this
- 21:09earlier because I asked him, do you remember the flying crabs?
- 21:13This is I'm going to say that is not a flying crab.
- 21:17That's just the brain enemy from Balter's Gate 3, yes.
- 21:21Also true, but back in 2013 there were videos of these
- 21:29things and we were told that they were going to be all over
- 21:31the surface of Hurston. You know, we have videos of the
- 21:36the pyro crabs. There are.
- 21:41Yeah. What it was when Jax got stuck
- 21:43in pyro, he had to fix a mole and the mole had crabs.
- 21:46So they've got rigging and art and everything done to them.
- 21:49There's not game. They just haven't figured out a
- 21:54way to exploit them yet. There it is, floating crab, I
- 22:02said. There were whole videos on it.
- 22:04They were floating around and just one of those things that
- 22:08Chris talks about said it's coming soon, and then it
- 22:12disappeared into the ether. Is its scientific name Zyfopod
- 22:18Biebelbrox? No, I don't think so.
- 22:24That's. According to this link I was
- 22:26sent, it's common name is the blind Oni up.
- 22:32Until now the character subscribe to only.
- 22:34Grabs. OK, let's move down the couch
- 22:40and let's bring up our next caller, a frequent guest on the
- 22:45show. You know him.
- 22:47Many of you love him, but I mean, not all of you.
- 22:51I enjoy his hamburgers. Wicket, come on up here.
- 23:03Did we leave the door locked? Come on up.
- 23:07Litizens long time occasional caller and just want to point
- 23:17out Mr. Tim for PC also agrees the current intro to the show
- 23:26for season 2 is garbage. Unsolicited.
- 23:32It was unsolicited. Just just want to add that to
- 23:35the to the to the data pile of and consent to change the
- 23:45current theme back to the old theme.
- 23:46Thank you. Yep.
- 23:49There's the brains. So oh.
- 23:53You found the video? Yeah, Yeah, there they are, the
- 23:54flying crabs. Your question about is how do we
- 23:59have enough animals? Obviously no, we have what, 4
- 24:02animals? Quasi grazes Copian, Maruk or
- 24:05Maruk however you pronounce it. And then the worm variations,
- 24:09right? It's the only thing we.
- 24:10Have they have rats? Well, rats aren't running
- 24:14around, they're just dead on a stick.
- 24:17I don't know if you. Call them running around,
- 24:19there's moving one. They're they're sea nuts.
- 24:21Pyro. Who?
- 24:23Also the single moving crab, The Cave beetles.
- 24:26We got those cave beetles or. You know, Oh yeah, the Roly Poly
- 24:29cave critters. Roly Poly bugs.
- 24:31Oh yeah, I forgot about those things.
- 24:33And the tortoise I've. Never seen that one.
- 24:37They're domesticated though. That's true.
- 24:41Any more regular like creatures the you know?
- 24:46I mean, this opens up a lot of, you know, potential gameplay.
- 24:51You know, imagine, you know, they're talk.
- 24:53They've already in the past, they've talked about farming.
- 24:56Well, what about animal husbandry, domesticating, You
- 24:59know, could you have a herd of quasi grazers and make some kind
- 25:04of space juice that they produce that is like highly valued, I
- 25:09don't know, milk in the quasi graze or or.
- 25:11Whatever the big eggs, we're going to take the eggs from
- 25:14their from their belly. Right.
- 25:17But I mean, maybe that's. Why don't they have what?
- 25:22Chickens. Space chickens.
- 25:25We need star chickens. Space chickens.
- 25:28Oh I see what you're saying. I knew is you want to know why?
- 25:30Why don't we have more earth based animals out in the verse
- 25:34as well? Yeah.
- 25:38I think the, I mean, I think the obvious reason for that is that
- 25:41it's easier to make a convincing alien species that we've never
- 25:45seen than it is to create, you know, a very convincing one that
- 25:49people are familiar with. But in lore, I don't think they,
- 25:53I don't know, I don't think there's a good excuse.
- 25:56Space Chickens. 900 years in the future.
- 26:00I think I think flora and fauna opens up a lot of could open up
- 26:06a lot of lore and gameplay aspects to to planetary
- 26:10environments. You know, imagine like locals,
- 26:15they maybe they don't have the technology to to to move stuff
- 26:19around like the UE people and the Pyro people do.
- 26:23And they have to, you know, hook a wagon to one of these beasts
- 26:25of burden and there could be raids on those guys or who
- 26:31knows? You know, imagine when they put
- 26:34the space wheels and you have this giant hunting party, but
- 26:37you know, you might have to kill or harvest 20 space whales
- 26:43before you get that one thing that's inside the perfect space
- 26:45whale and that's highly valued that you can either sell on the
- 26:50market or its component and crafting or something like that.
- 26:53It's just like a bunch of gameplay opportunities that
- 26:57hopefully they'll exploit. Because in a lot of in a lot of
- 27:01Mmos that are more fantasy based or terrestrial based, and even
- 27:05in some sci-fi genres, they'll have things that where you have
- 27:12to interact with the floral flora and fauna of a planet and
- 27:17exploit that as a resource that might be used in in crafting or,
- 27:22or just to survive. Maybe it'd be awesome if they
- 27:28put all that kind of stuff into the game eventually.
- 27:32But right now, I mean, it's so limited, you know, the copions,
- 27:35I'd love to see the copions be way tougher to kill and more of
- 27:41a danger. I mean, yeah, if you're
- 27:43unsuspecting and if you're mobbed by them, you might get
- 27:46killed by a pack of Copians. But for the most part, you just
- 27:49mow them down with your your gun.
- 27:52If they would be a little bit quicker or a little tougher,
- 27:56more of a danger. Feel like a lot of their their
- 28:01lack of danger is server related I feel at the moment.
- 28:04That's maybe that's possible. Every time I want.
- 28:07To they. Just kind of jump around me.
- 28:11You know, obviously that's not what we have right now.
- 28:13I'm just basically extrapolating as we move forward and get, you
- 28:17know, closer to to the more of a polished game and what could be
- 28:23because there's no sense in what we unless you want to talk about
- 28:28what we don't have, which that'll be a 5 minute
- 28:32conversation. But what we don't have, that'll
- 28:35be like a five year conversation.
- 28:40So you mentioned the the NPC spawning issue.
- 28:44You must not have played during that.
- 28:48There's nothing scarier than 23 Copian rounding the corner to
- 28:51come kill you. Horrifying.
- 28:56You've not been at Walmart on Black Friday.
- 28:59Hey you. Sandel I have literally never
- 29:04done that. And, and another thing I was
- 29:08thinking about when I read the for the today's topic, which is
- 29:11going to be somewhat controversial, but this is
- 29:14something that happens in in almost all these different space
- 29:17genres and space, these different space operas and
- 29:23different lore, you know, lore based themes, you know,
- 29:28eventually your hero class, your humans or whatever the class
- 29:33that is, is, is the primary protagonist in any adventure in
- 29:37space. Eventually encounter some
- 29:40sentient or semi sentient lesser species.
- 29:44And usually they end up enslaving them somehow or
- 29:49putting them into a working class or or subspecies that is
- 29:53like the almost like a beast of burden.
- 29:56You know it's already going on. Yeah, it's the Tavar.
- 30:00Yeah, how's good? That's a var end.
- 30:01No, it isn't. That's.
- 30:04Where they surrendered but. I mean, yes, that's, that's all
- 30:10some based on some sort of lore, but we haven't seen it.
- 30:13I'm just saying if if that's implemented, will we ever see
- 30:16it? Do we want to see something like
- 30:18that? You know, then you have this
- 30:20moral dilemma that you have to choose what side of that
- 30:23argument are you going to fall on?
- 30:25You know, is this something you want to take part in or is this
- 30:27something you want to actively prevent?
- 30:30You know, these are all avenues that could be gamified and put
- 30:34in into into our universe to make these moral decisions.
- 30:39You know, where do you stand, you know, as a player?
- 30:42Or are you role-playing the slave or are you role-playing
- 30:45the the savior? You know what's which, which
- 30:49route do you want to take? These are just open conundrums
- 30:52that that are then presented to the player base that you have to
- 30:56decide how you want to interact with it.
- 30:58I'm just saying, is that something that's good?
- 30:59Is that something that's intriguing or interesting?
- 31:02I think it is. I don't think we're going to get
- 31:05anything on to that level. Didn't.
- 31:09You. Play a game where you sold
- 31:10drugs. He didn't say we're selling, you
- 31:16know, just mining and selling drugs.
- 31:18He didn't say which side of the light he was going to roll on.
- 31:20He just said it would be interesting to have the
- 31:23conundrum. But I mean, we like the other
- 31:26night, I was like, all right, let me look around at the
- 31:28animals and I was hunting the what was it?
- 31:32The, the Farouk, the Farouk. And that just kind of felt
- 31:36dirty. I mean, they just kind of sit
- 31:39there or, or they're flying above you and you just shoot
- 31:42them and they follow the ground and, and that's that that that
- 31:47was to be. Like from time to time.
- 31:50That's what I was like. I can't be a hunter.
- 31:52This is this is just not right. That's too cruel.
- 31:56Right. And it like there's the.
- 31:57Person that dropped a bomb on a on a pack of Copians.
- 32:02Well, yeah. I mean, I've seen someone true.
- 32:10Yeah, that's an. Invasive species.
- 32:14And I've seen someone chase a fugitive at a clutcher with an
- 32:17A2, so you know. Also an invasive species.
- 32:22What's your point, Wicked? That brings me to like the storm
- 32:25wall because we were talking, you know, some animals will be
- 32:29harvested. The storm wall, I think they've
- 32:32talked about being able to land on it and harvest.
- 32:37Is that the space whale? Ornacles.
- 32:39Yeah, Space whale. I just always called a space
- 32:42whale. I think everyone has I had to I
- 32:45had to look up the name. But you know, that could be one
- 32:50of those moral considerations, right, Where you could kill the
- 32:52space whale and get, you know, it's, it's whatever, or you
- 32:57could just land on it and and scrape off some, some space
- 33:00barnacles and get we. Could totally see Gray selling a
- 33:04specialized ship to capture the whales and kill them.
- 33:09Yeah, they're definitely not Gorma Ganders from Star Trek.
- 33:12They're space whales. Generic.
- 33:14Space whales. Totally different things.
- 33:15How dare you? Isn't there like an almost
- 33:18identical looking one in the Clone Wars?
- 33:20Yeah. I think so, yeah.
- 33:23The ones that can this game through hyperspace.
- 33:26Yeah, but this game has all sorts of shit like that.
- 33:28I mean, there's Terminus for, you know, I mean, come on, I
- 33:32don't mind. I.
- 33:33Don't mind. I don't.
- 33:35I don't mind Star Citizen borrowing or repurposing lore
- 33:41and different aspects of different franchises and IPS.
- 33:45You know, I don't, I don't mind that at all.
- 33:47I mean, there's, I think in, in a, in a larger universe, you,
- 33:52you may definitely come across a lot of that stuff.
- 33:56And, and as far as you know, some of this, these thematic
- 34:00themes that I was talking about earlier that it that it may not
- 34:04happen yet. It may not, but it would sure
- 34:06would make things interesting. You know, where Star Citizen and
- 34:10CIG have been trying to, you know, press this idea of being
- 34:15different in a lot of ways and giving a lot of different
- 34:19choices to the players. And these would be some dramatic
- 34:23choices. You know, it would it, it could
- 34:26thematically change the way we thought about things you do in
- 34:30game and having this, you know, currently everything has this
- 34:34moral ambiguity to it that you, you, you, you may or may not, it
- 34:39may or may not matter to you in, in, in in your day-to-day real
- 34:43life. But in the game, should it
- 34:46matter or how does it matter? Or is that just a pipe dream of
- 34:50people caring about what they do and how they treat each other?
- 34:54Or is it just, you know, oh number go up good, I kill you,
- 34:58you don't kill me. Good.
- 34:59And that's that's the end of it. And if that's the case, it's
- 35:02just going to be another shallow endeavor of blase Pew Pew.
- 35:07And then, OK, we'll start it off and we're done.
- 35:13How do you really effectively have a Zeno threat operate?
- 35:21And, and, and it makes sense. I mean what you're saying
- 35:23because, you know, I mean, are there enough animals?
- 35:26Yes. Is there life?
- 35:28I think is the question. You know, I mean, like, are
- 35:30there enough animals? No, but is there enough life?
- 35:32I think is the question right? Yeah, that's that's, that's a
- 35:36good way to put it, you know, is what I want to have, besides
- 35:40having just just another another MMO to play and something to to
- 35:47play. I want to have some reason to
- 35:49care about this game. Does that make any sense?
- 35:54I want to have a reason to to want to be.
- 35:56I thought I thought we were your reason to care.
- 35:59Well, you're a entry you're you're like an entry to care
- 36:03about things. But wow, why do I want to stay?
- 36:07Well, I mean, it's, it's true most, most, most games.
- 36:10I mean, if you play any game nowadays, especially if it's a
- 36:14any kind of social aspect to a multiplayer, most of the time
- 36:18the thing that keeps you coming back as the people you play
- 36:20with, it's not the game. The game could be dog shit, but
- 36:25if it fosters this community, you're more than likely to keep
- 36:30trying and keep playing. But if there's no community
- 36:33there to interact with, then you know it's just another single
- 36:35player thing that you just shove to the side.
- 36:37OK, what's the next the next flashing light I need to click
- 36:40on? But you know, if you if you
- 36:43start thinking about the game and the environment, this this
- 36:46thing with this animals really got me thinking today about it.
- 36:49I thought at first it was kind of a dumb question, but then I
- 36:51started thinking about a little bit deeper and it started be
- 36:56going on these little tangents, which, you know, maybe I'm just,
- 37:01you know, spitballing too big here.
- 37:03But it just started making me think about, you know, what do
- 37:06you care about when you're playing these grandiose games
- 37:08like Star Citizen? And then and no matter what,
- 37:11it's going to be a just widespread grand game that we
- 37:14all really will love more than likely.
- 37:18I mean, we've put up with this much now already.
- 37:22Probably everybody on this call will see you through to at some.
- 37:26And I don't know if there will ever be an end.
- 37:29Maybe not, but I just want to have a reason to care and
- 37:34something that, you know, some of these moral choices, these
- 37:38social choices, I think it's going to be the the, the little
- 37:42linchpin that that makes people want to invest the time and keep
- 37:47coming back. Yeah, not everybody, but you
- 37:51know. And I think having some, some
- 37:54real life, you know, like, like, like Anubis was saying, having
- 38:00wildlife that actually feels real will help to give people a
- 38:04reason to come back and just to make things feel more important.
- 38:08You're like, obviously we've got worlds that are dead, you know,
- 38:12and they're too hot and you're not going to find lots of things
- 38:15living there. But like in Pyro, when with the
- 38:18new, what you call it, when they fix up the planet there, what's
- 38:25that word? What am I thinking of?
- 38:26Terraform. Yeah, when they terraform Pyro
- 38:29and and fill it with animals. My like one of my favorite games
- 38:33for just walking around in the game, not even doing the other
- 38:37activities, was always Red Dead Redemption 2.
- 38:41And that was just because the wildlife was amazing.
- 38:47You know, they were, they were living their lives, they were
- 38:49hunting each other. They were dying, they were
- 38:51eating everything that, you know, sleeping more, mourning
- 38:55the death of their of their loved ones.
- 38:57You could see all of it just by walking around in that game.
- 39:01And it did just make everything else feel like more important,
- 39:08because you knew that it was superimposed on this living,
- 39:11breathing world behind it, if you know what I'm saying.
- 39:17Not entirely sure if Nick's Nick's One would even have
- 39:20animals because it was a dead world that simply just had
- 39:25plants introduced to it and had its oxygen and atmosphere
- 39:28adjusted till everything started working.
- 39:31But life. Finds a way.
- 39:36Life finds a way. Life does find a way, but does
- 39:38life find a way in three months? When?
- 39:41You have AC2 full of Copians, you just open up and let out.
- 39:44Yeah. I mean, yeah, if they just did
- 39:46that to facilitate, you know, kick starting life on Nick's
- 39:50one, just dump a bunch of animals onto it, sure.
- 39:53What's a better thing to throw on a planet than a bunch of
- 39:55Copians? Like it's totally a smart thing
- 39:59to do, but. I mean, they've already
- 40:01established that's how, that's how the quasi great grazers got
- 40:04where they are, right? Yeah, they were imported.
- 40:08People just brought them over and that's, you know, that's.
- 40:12What the and animals are part of a whole Biome, so like they
- 40:15they're going to have to have some.
- 40:17If you have a plant planet with 0 animals that will planet will
- 40:20probably die, it's. Ecosystem needs.
- 40:25Hobo. Animals.
- 40:26Before we go further with this, I think this might be a good
- 40:28sign to mention the giveaway. Yes, I I jar jar was very.
- 40:42I sprained that on you. Very wanting us to do this last
- 40:45week but we forgot. Can you do it?
- 40:48I'm going to cough again. Sure, sure.
- 40:51Hold on, Let me bring it up here again, hobo.
- 40:55So we are having our first giveaway here on Open Comms
- 40:59Radio. The first ever Open Comms Radio

- 43:16Cool, we we forgot to do this last time so we wanted to get
- 43:19back at it. There are 10 entries and there's
- 43:2213. Already. 22 hours left.
- 43:25Oh, yeah, that's another good thing to mention, I suppose.
- 43:28Ends on March 18th, which I think is a Wednesday.
- 43:35I think we might have a special caller for that day as well.
- 43:38Yeah, yeah. Not sure.
- 43:39Yeah. Nothing to be said about that
- 43:41yet. That's a secret, the two of us.
- 43:45So, you know, we've been doing all this talking about animals
- 43:49in the verse currently, and we have yet to address the giant
- 43:54carnivorous worm in the room. The the Valicar the the loser
- 44:02Valicar doesn't exist. Yeah, well, what do you mean
- 44:06doesn't exist? I mean, the one, the one of the,
- 44:09the ones in Pyr are just like, yeah, they're there, but you can
- 44:12summon them. They're they're not an animal.
- 44:15They're just like an animatronic thing, surely?
- 44:19But aren't. Trapping sand pit forever.
- 44:21Slowly dying of radiation. We we still haven't seen the big
- 44:24one where you have to have a ship to kill it, right?
- 44:28Right. They've talked about tweaking
- 44:30like they're working on that, and they're tweaking it so that
- 44:33it's gonna be able to actually travel underground over larger
- 44:37distances. That's was supposed to be the
- 44:40boss for Hathor. You're supposed to crack it.
- 44:44Yeah, you're supposed to crack open the hole and outcomes the
- 44:48Valicar. How would the I can see why they
- 44:53cancelled it because after you killed the Valicar, his dead
- 44:55body's in the hole. Yeah.
- 44:59Or would I think? You would mind you would get the
- 45:01resources from the the the dead worm instead of having to mine
- 45:04the whole. I think it would be a bit of
- 45:06both. Like you, you'd have to mine
- 45:08under fire. I got you.
- 45:11Yeah, I think what happens to plan what happens to the
- 45:15irradiated Valicar after you kill it, Like how long it
- 45:18slowly, it slowly sinks into the ground and disappears.
- 45:22Typical stuff. OK, but it sinks into the
- 45:25ground. It doesn't just bloop, right?
- 45:28No. Ideally it first should probably
- 45:31decompose, but you probably need instant sing for that, right?
- 45:36I'm sure Chris wanted you to watch him just like slowly
- 45:40degrade. Chris, I I don't want the
- 45:43players to be able to leave. Nah, they don't stay there.
- 45:46You want to sit and watch it die?
- 45:48You did these? They have to wait for the skin
- 45:52to decay so you can go in there and get his heart.
- 45:55It's like 3030 in game years and then you can finally.
- 45:59The the smaller words the bigger and it slowly eats it way in
- 46:05front of you. It's doing the hand gestures
- 46:10too. I can't see it.
- 46:13Yeah, for those of you who don't know, Chris's accent changes
- 46:17while he's travelling. So as he as he's travelling.
- 46:20What can I? Say the accent changes, Yeah.
- 46:23Jet setter. Yeah.
- 46:27But what do we think about the large Valley car in game right
- 46:31now? I mean, does it work?
- 46:34Is it fun? Yeah, indeed.
- 46:38You kind of just shoot at it till it dies.
- 46:41It was scary at 1st and when they let it move it's very
- 46:44scary, but they kind of rained in the moving.
- 46:48Oh yeah, I remember that whenever it clipped into the
- 46:50building and just laid down in the building, killed everybody.
- 46:54Yeah. Something that big would
- 46:58definitely, I mean a lot of buildings would not stand up
- 47:02under that. Oh yeah, no, like in reality it
- 47:06would just pretty much wreck the whole reality.
- 47:09It's a giant fucking space worm if we apply any sort of logic to
- 47:15it. One body slam on the building
- 47:17and that building is gone. Do.
- 47:21You think that's why they changed it?
- 47:25No, they changed it because it's buggy as shit.
- 47:28Yeah, it was just clipping through walls, right?
- 47:32So they wanted to be able to move, but obviously it's if it's
- 47:35breaking the physics of the game, that's not going to work.
- 47:39Yeah, I think they did like a weekend's work on it to get it
- 47:43to move. And we're like, oh, we're going
- 47:45to need to spend a lot more time on this.
- 47:46And that's what the recent passionates have shown is
- 47:48they're they're working to make it actually move right.
- 47:53Yeah, yeah, they want some underground move, it said.
- 47:57Like large distances and then come back up.
- 48:01That is terrifying though once it could move it was a lot more
- 48:05scary than when it just sits and kind of spits at you, which is
- 48:08'cause that spit is dangerous like that will fuck you up.
- 48:12But if you know exactly where it's going to be the whole time
- 48:17when it's spitting and you. It's boring.
- 48:20It's boring. You know, it doesn't spit
- 48:23anymore. I found out it stopped spitting.
- 48:27No, it evolved this new attack where it slams its face into the
- 48:30ground on top of you and kills you.
- 48:31Yeah. But you're going to be close to
- 48:33it for that. Well, yeah, it moves.
- 48:37I didn't know it moved. I thought it died.
- 48:39Turns out it just circumvented behind me and it slapped me in
- 48:41the back of the head. Oh, the smaller worms or the
- 48:43bigger worm? The big apex.
- 48:46One OK, really. It it moved to the other side of
- 48:50the facility, clipped through the facility and slammed its
- 48:52head into the ground where we were shooting it at.
- 48:54Oh, lately it. Hasn't been moving anymore.
- 48:57Was that reason? Was that OK back when it was
- 49:01cold? Because now it just stays in one
- 49:03spot. At least they were able to
- 49:05introduce an all new independent, you know, boss, you
- 49:11know, creature that you have to fight that is totally not like
- 49:14the Valicar, you know the Urimandi.
- 49:18Yes, kind of different. I actually really enjoy fighting
- 49:22the Romania. It's just, it's just a Vela car
- 49:26that went down the lightning evolution path and.
- 49:30Has a plant in. Water.
- 49:32It decided to be a mage. It's like an easy.
- 49:39That one's fun though, because it does move around.
- 49:44I mean, it's got, it's got 2 spots to move around in or is it
- 49:473? There's three pools that can
- 49:49move in I. Think it's like 5, but since
- 49:54there's two it's always going to be like in one of the two.
- 49:59Pretty much I. Don't think I've ever
- 50:04successfully killed one. Every time we go down there we
- 50:06kill it and then the door doesn't open and then we die.
- 50:10It's ghost kills us. Yeah.
- 50:13It it's kind of crazy how they do this because there are games
- 50:17that do this beautifully. If you've ever played Pow World,
- 50:20I mean like they make it a challenge, like when you fight
- 50:24these things and they do it and it's fun and I don't understand
- 50:29why they can't do it in this game.
- 50:33Well, all we all we have access to is just FPS weapons.
- 50:37Maybe you throw a grenade at it. It's just aim and shoot.
- 50:42Well, that's also PAL world. It has guns.
- 50:44That's fair, but you also have pals.
- 50:46Yeah. Yeah, we don't have pals.
- 50:49We need some pals. We don't have pals.
- 50:55Goes and sends your pet copion to fight that you're Mondi.
- 50:59It'll be fine, right? Well, that goes back to, you
- 51:04know, wicked talk on morality. I mean, is it right to send
- 51:07your, your pets to fight? You know, shouldn't our pets
- 51:10have some free will? He's got insurance.
- 51:15LTI Topians. Yeah.
- 51:19LTI flag we've got. A pledge store near you?
- 51:23Oh. We can.
- 51:24We can reprint humans. Yeah, they're.
- 51:29Going to have to varying degrees and success.
- 51:33Yeah, we'll have pet printing. We'll have we'll have Bildam
- 51:37Morty. First there will be the the the
- 51:41cop, the Copian, or whatever animal on the pledge store.
- 51:44Then you have to have the pledge store, the special collar, the
- 51:49special leash, or the harness. The scans, yeah.
- 51:54You need you need the DNA blueprint so you can use them
- 51:57you want to. Be able to breed them with your
- 51:59friends. You want to have the right
- 52:00breeding chamber. That's what I'm always saying.
- 52:06There's gonna be like a Chihuahua.
- 52:07One should be like a little tiny teacup.
- 52:09OK, I would. Probably on one teacup copion.
- 52:13Yeah, but he's highly venomous. Just like a real.
- 52:16Chihuahua, yes. Do we think CIG is going to
- 52:24monetize pets? Oh hell yeah.
- 52:26Absolutely. Is it going to be just behind
- 52:30money? No.
- 52:35I can see them, they give us maybe 5-5 normal flat cats for
- 52:40the game and then there's flat 5 exclusive one that have weird
- 52:44skins and patterns and colors on them on the pledge storm.
- 52:48And. It's on.
- 52:49All of them. The thing is that is a pet just
- 52:54going to be another, another version of bling, something that
- 52:58follows you around in the space station.
- 52:59So everybody says, oh, look at that dude, he's got the monocle
- 53:02kitten. Yeah, I want I.
- 53:04Want to leave my backpack Poking his head out I.
- 53:09Just have like. Everyone around.
- 53:11Me pets. I never kept pets.
- 53:16We need, like, little windows in our backpack so that, you know,
- 53:19he can stay in there and be airtight and safe, but still
- 53:23look out. Yeah.
- 53:25Yeah, yeah, yeah. Def Stranding Copian.
- 53:31Dude Eva suits for your for your Copian so it can like.
- 53:35Work. Ships with you.
- 53:37How is it going to bite anyone? Well, it's it's got mechanical
- 53:43jaws on. It give it a gun.
- 53:44Got it. Yeah, gun turrets for your pets.
- 53:49Freaking lasers. Freaking lasers attached to
- 53:52their heads. I have no problem with that, but
- 53:55you have to train them and while you're training it could kill
- 53:59you accidentally. Or intentionally, if it comes
- 54:03across a wild copion, the wild copion convinces it to revolt
- 54:07against you. Totally logical.
- 54:12And now you have a wild copion that is armored, has a laser on
- 54:15its head, and can breathe in space.
- 54:18Terrifying. Yeah, I would assume they have
- 54:22like a pokey ball. So like once you capture it once
- 54:26then it's whatever alters in it's brain and it and it's like
- 54:29obeys you. I think Nintendo's lawyers might
- 54:34have something to say about that.
- 54:36They already did about the previous product you mentioned.
- 54:41Pow world? Yeah, Nintendo.
- 54:46Powell World when you lost. Oh well, if we're not going to
- 54:50ever get copyright struck for anything else, it's, it's our,
- 54:53it's, it's our time. We're getting there.
- 54:55That's it. We we finally made it.
- 54:57We're getting. We did it, folks.
- 54:59We're getting cease and desist orders from Nintendo's lawyers.
- 55:03It's the highest praise. Where this doesn't exist.
- 55:07Why does success hurt so much? Well, you know, once you reach,
- 55:13you know, 14 listeners, you know, things get a little out of
- 55:17hand. We're at 4 right now.
- 55:20I think that's when Star Citizen will be truly finished is when
- 55:24you can you can actually hire lawyers in game to sue other
- 55:28orgs. We have an internal legal
- 55:31system. There's going to be little
- 55:33courtrooms on every station, yeah.
- 55:37Hey, hey, hey, official court of Everest Harbor.
- 55:43So is it, we're sorry, are we, are we following the British
- 55:45judicial system? With the wig wigs.
- 55:47With the white wigs. Right, yeah, 900 years in the
- 55:50future and they're. Wearing still wigs, damn it.
- 55:54But they're like colored wigs now.
- 55:56Oh. OK, you know, because I lost.
- 55:58It's it's, it's a new future. So you.
- 56:00Know yeah, they're progressive in the future.
- 56:02Yeah, you got like a purple one. That's how you show
- 56:05progressivism, right as. Hair.
- 56:07They're wearing a blue wig. You know you're in trouble.
- 56:12You could have them made out of a metal attached to their
- 56:14helmets so they can see them through the spacesuit.
- 56:19Oh, there you go. That's how you know you come
- 56:22across a boss in space. They, they, they got the big
- 56:25helmet. The bigger the helmet, the
- 56:28bigger the boss. Those are just facts.
- 56:34Yeah, well, folks, we are coming to the end of our show this
- 56:39evening, as we always do. We're going to end it by asking
- 56:45some questions in reverse order. So that means the last one to
- 56:50come up on the couch tonight, which was Wicket.
- 56:53Wicket. Do you have anything you'd like
- 56:55to say to Chris Roberts, the people at CIG, or the folks on
- 56:59the Internet, excluding Sandy Roberts?
- 57:02Thank you for adding that. Now he's got nothing to say if
- 57:07you can't talk to Sandy, that's it.
- 57:09He won't talk. Nothing.
- 57:14Nothing wicked. No.
- 57:17Oh, space slavery, yes. OK.
- 57:22What space slavery? OK, Pluto, you have anything
- 57:29you'd like to say to Chris Roberts, the folks at CIG, or
- 57:31the people on the Internet? I would love for the flat cats
- 57:35to come. Need some flat cats.
- 57:37Oh. My God I want a flat cat so bad.
- 57:41What are you gonna do with these Black Cats?
- 57:43They're gonna live in the apartment and be safe.
- 57:45You're. Gonna get the you're gonna get
- 57:48the skin packs. You got the, you got the orange
- 57:50tabby. You got, you got this the, the,
- 57:53the Siamese you, you got the tuxy.
- 57:57Hell. Yeah, you know, I mean like,
- 58:00like seriously, like I would totally get one.
- 58:03Like like a. Get everything on the list.
- 58:07Like there's so many breeds they can get just the domestic
- 58:10shorthair, but I guess it's like intergalactic shorthair now.
- 58:13Like come on, it'll. Be $5 each or $12.00 for the
- 58:17pack of three. My wallet would come right out.
- 58:22Tony the Tiger. Yeah, Lord Anubis, other other
- 58:28than your your special cat skin packs, anything you'd like to
- 58:33say to Chris Roberts, the people at CIG or the folks on the
- 58:37Internet? Well, since you excluded the one
- 58:41thing I, I am, I am finally excited about in this game for
- 58:46the first time in, well, probably about 3 weeks.
- 58:52Well, let's, let's see what else I can say.
- 58:56I mean, come on. You.
- 58:58Wouldn't walk around our giant cat.
- 59:00That's your cat like. Yes, 1000 times yes.
- 59:07Like, come on. And then my cat would like jump
- 59:10up, I'd show her the screen and she'd be like, oh shit, it's us.
- 59:15Representation. Representation matters.
- 59:20See. See.
- 59:21See my cat wants to be kicking ass too in game and like hey
- 59:26look I kicked those copion's ass.
- 59:28Like there you go that it's the best idea ever and if Sig
- 59:32doesn't do it then they have failed as a company and I will
- 59:36unsubscribe and ask for a refund.
- 59:39Combat flat cats. Combat flat cats.
- 59:44Yep, hobo. So that's my statement.
- 59:48As the as a Co host, is there anything you'd like to say to
- 59:52Chris Roberts, CIG or the people on the Internet?
- 59:55Let's see those Nyx planets. Yeah.
- 1:00:01Yeah, you know, somebody found one.
- 1:00:05I think a few people have accidentally jumped to them.
- 1:00:08Really. Yeah, They'll stop halfway in
- 1:00:10Quantum just like they. I don't think you can land on
- 1:00:13them. But that's physically there,
- 1:00:15visually there. I've seen the records.
- 1:00:18Think somebody. Yeah, I think somebody's found
- 1:00:21Nyx too near about whereabouts its location is.
- 1:00:26There's stuff about that. Actual exploration.
- 1:00:29And the, yeah, this is exploration.
- 1:00:31It's it's just in like, hard to do and ridiculous, but yeah.
- 1:00:39You think that would be an awesome way to introduce a
- 1:00:41planet? Somebody actually has to stumble
- 1:00:43across it and find it, then it's actually marked.
- 1:00:46That would be great. And that'd be.
- 1:00:48Awesome, yeah. Maybe forever have their name
- 1:00:51associated with that planet that they.
- 1:00:52That would not be awesome. You're describing no man in the
- 1:00:56sky. Yeah.
- 1:00:57It wouldn't be called that by the name, it would be called.
- 1:01:00Something. Because it wouldn't end up being
- 1:01:02like Fart Lord 60. 9 Discovered by.
- 1:01:05Wicked, right? Great.
- 1:01:06Something like. Fart Lord Dragon Ball.
- 1:01:08Elite Dangerous ish. I'm not familiar with that game.
- 1:01:16Be kind of neat. That would be cool.
- 1:01:21All right, well, that's that's coming to the end tonight.
- 1:01:26So, as we usually do, and since you're feeling a little better
- 1:01:30hobo, would you like to play us out?
- 1:01:34Not dramatically better, but.
