- 0:04Speaker 2: the time to look ahead to Florida State's game against Southern Miss Big time no, jason on the line Jimmy Reno, jimmy Reno and studio First up.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Before we talk about this week's game, let's look at Big time.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Noel Jason almost called it 46-23, he predicted.
- 0:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I was a little off.
- 0:37Speaker 4: It was an off week for me.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Man, what an exciting game, man.
- 0:43Speaker 3: You know, first game of the season, man shake a little rust off, that's all it was.
- 0:47Speaker 2: I know you've had a chance to see it.
- 0:48Speaker 2: What has you most excited Big Time Noel about this season?
- 0:53Speaker 2: Just off that one game.
- 0:55Speaker 4: Most excited.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean Jordan Travis.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Yeah, Just seeing, he just keeps getting better, man I mean his accuracy is just.
- 1:06Speaker 4: I mean, it's incredible.
- 1:08Speaker 2: It really is.
- 1:08Speaker 2: It really is.
- 1:09Speaker 2: He's throwing dimes and his receiving core is only getting better.
- 1:13Speaker 4: I mean I haven't heard anyone talk about his NFL Draft stock, but it must be.
- 1:19Speaker 4: I mean, it must be getting pretty good.
- 1:22Speaker 2: I mean the fact that, yeah, it's definitely rising.
- 1:25Speaker 2: I mean you have from a guy a couple of years ago that probably wasn't on anybody's board.
- 1:30Speaker 4: Nobody's yeah.
- 1:32Speaker 2: So Mike Norvell's turned this kid.
- 1:33Speaker 4: I mean even last year.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Even last year to begin the season, he was not on anyone's.
- 1:38Speaker 2: NFL Draft.
- 1:38Speaker 2: That's true.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Yep, that's so true.
- 1:40Speaker 4: That's so true, he probably popped up towards the end there at that six game win street.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:47Speaker 4: Seven game win street now Seven in a row.
- 1:51Speaker 3: That's right.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Yeah, the 45-24 with a garbage touchdown to make it that.
- 1:57Speaker 2: I mean it was an absolute domination, it was they just well, I'm going to be honest with you, it was 1717.
- 2:05Speaker 4: That's true In the third quarter, second half of the third quarter.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it really just.
- 2:10Speaker 2: I think, yeah, it really snowballed for LSU once.
- 2:14Speaker 4: They had a couple of key drops in that third quarter.
- 2:17Speaker 4: They really could have gone a different way.
- 2:19Speaker 2: They did have some key drops.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Obviously, we would have still won right.
- 2:22Speaker 4: But I don't think it would have been the that turned out really costly to have a two.
- 2:27Speaker 4: I'm telling you two key drops.
- 2:29Speaker 4: It did, yeah, you're right, you're right.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Yeah, one could have been a touchdown.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Yep.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Probably would have been a touchdown.
- 2:37Speaker 4: It was a little bit closer than the score.
- 2:39Speaker 4: I think, yeah, as far as this, this player's go.
- 2:41Speaker 2: It was definitely competitive, I mean I mean coaching wise.
- 2:45Speaker 4: I think Norvell clearly showed his dominance over B Kelly, that's that's that's.
- 2:51Speaker 2: That's that's fair.
- 2:53Speaker 4: But they definitely had some, some players, man, I think the goal, the goal line stand in the first drive was so such a huge momentum factor.
- 3:01Speaker 3: I think the overreaction to LSU um losing the game like that, people saying, ah man, there there are three or four lost team to see.
- 3:08Speaker 3: I think that's incorrect.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I think they're going to beat A lot, of a lot of teams it did snowball a little bit.
- 3:15Speaker 2: It's not what it did.
- 3:16Speaker 3: That wasn't.
- 3:17Speaker 3: You know, he's right, big-time knows, right man it was.
- 3:19Speaker 3: It was a.
- 3:20Speaker 3: It was a contested game right.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Maybe way through the third quarter just got hot, you turn the ball over.
- 3:26Speaker 4: Yeah, Florida's got Jordan Travis you.
- 3:27Speaker 2: He didn't score this right, right, once that FSU got in that run, you almost have to start matching them.
- 3:33Speaker 3: I think it was almost like more than anything is that you know the endurance and the overall mentality of Florida State is just the death or yeah yeah, it was on a different.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Depth was something.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Yeah, the depth was different, it was like that and along.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Last time we were wearing those sweet uniforms that we said 2013.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Yeah, it really is crazy, Especially on offense and there's a couple guys that look like they're moving around a lot quicker.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Then we saw, you know, a year ago, two years ago, dj Lundy, lundy, lundy, yeah, being one that stands out the most for me.
- 4:10Speaker 3: He looked like a different player out there in terms of the way he's moving.
- 4:14Speaker 3: I mean, he's always been scary looking, those huge arms and he means running about 240, 250, but he he looks like he can move now like laterally, sidelight and sideline.
- 4:26Speaker 3: So I think that Josh storms again right and dividends man, that guy's the body by storms.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Yeah well, you know that I I'm excited to see who's gonna be the next receiver to step up, because you saw number one and number two.
- 4:43Speaker 2: I mean you saw Coleman and you saw Wilson, both with a hundred yard games who's gonna?
- 4:49Speaker 2: And then you saw Jeheem bell used all over the field, in the backfield as at the tight end position as a weapon.
- 4:55Speaker 2: You could line him up anywhere, but I'm anxious to see Coming up in this next game.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Who's gonna be that next guy out of Winston Wright Jr?
- 5:04Speaker 2: Is it gonna be Poitierre?
- 5:06Speaker 2: Is it going to be Destin Hill?
- 5:09Speaker 2: I know those guys are playmakers and they're hungry to get the ball.
- 5:13Speaker 2: I'm anxious to see the depth on offense shine in this next coming up game.
- 5:18Speaker 3: I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the Quote-unquote issues in the running game.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Try to get ironed out there.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Yep, with the starters, you may.
- 5:27Speaker 3: You may see a lot of some some force power run early on.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Oh yeah.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Oh.
- 5:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm excited to see tape.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and that's another thing that this, this game goes as it should.
- 5:39Speaker 3: Second half is gonna be pretty much all tape Right, all his man.
- 5:44Speaker 3: He's gonna get to go out there and showcase what he can do, and with some of the first team skill guys, so it's not gonna be like he's playing with other second team or third team or yeah, I think he's.
- 5:53Speaker 2: I'm excited to see who the backup quarterback is and because you have you never know when you're gonna need him, I mean I'll allow Louisville last year.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Yeah, and look what he did.
- 6:03Speaker 3: You know.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Yeah, and, and he's gonna be the guy next year, so you want to see he's clearly ahead and right now looks like he's going.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Yeah, he's he's it's his to lose right now, for next day's borough, georgia.
- 6:17Speaker 4: He could have.
- 6:18Speaker 4: He could have a.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Is he from six room?
- 6:20Speaker 4: No, val Dost.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Yeah, he's from Val Dost.
- 6:23Speaker 4: He's more stadium, that's right.
- 6:25Speaker 4: You could have a Matt Jones type season next year, that's right.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Yeah, wait at his turn patiently.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Knows the system better than anybody comes in Wins a national title.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Mike Jones wishes he could move like Tate Rodden maker.
- 6:42Speaker 3: Yeah, that kid like it.
- 6:45Speaker 3: You know he doesn't look like a guy with with all this athletic ability just because you know he's kind of Kind of wiry, but man, he can.
- 6:52Speaker 2: He can scoot yeah so you think they come out wanting to get Benson the ball and I I'm ready to see Rodney Hill again.
- 6:59Speaker 2: He fired me up at the end of the game.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Yeah, he looks like a guy that can have some big plays this year.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I think you'll see see some guys that are.
- 7:07Speaker 3: You know the debt.
- 7:08Speaker 4: You might see more Winston Wright and Dustin Hill Feature yeah, we could really use a couple more footballs for these guys on offense to pass around.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Yeah, it is.
- 7:18Speaker 2: It's nothing to apologize for, but, man, you saw the number one guys established and it looks like you.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Fsu has two first round wide receivers.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I would say I will see, even had a couple of drops, yeah.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah his heart.
- 7:31Speaker 2: The toughest catches he makes are the one.
- 7:33Speaker 3: I think, I think that'll be something that that scouts knock him on right, knock him back to a day two pick yeah yeah, but look at Torello.
- 7:42Speaker 4: And is known as one of the greatest receivers of all time.
- 7:44Speaker 4: Also has the most drops of all time.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Yeah, and it, like you know he's, he's definitely gonna be a High-pick top 100.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Keon Coleman first round ridden all over he's Keep doing what he's doing.
- 7:56Speaker 4: that back flip he did out there.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Yeah, he was really jumped off.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I mean, nobody can guard him?
- 8:02Speaker 3: It's really the way he approached his entire you know collegiate athletic career.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Was was smart man.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Yeah he, it was well thought out, he had his plan going and it's, I hope it Game one.
- 8:14Speaker 3: You know couldn't have asked for a better, better show out there.
- 8:18Speaker 2: It's a night game, it's gonna happen.
- 8:21Speaker 2: It's Tonight, this Saturday night, 8 30 start.
- 8:24Speaker 2: That's kind of late.
- 8:26Speaker 4: Yeah, for us but it's gonna be not late for it's not late for the players.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Oh no, it's gonna be.
- 8:31Speaker 2: I think it's gonna be great atmosphere.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:36Speaker 4: I already sold out.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, are we already?
- 8:40Speaker 3: Did we do a buy one, get one, like our, our friends down in Quarrel Gables.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Yeah, that game, let's.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Let's talk about that game for a sec.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Jim bow yeah, yeah, what do we do?
- 8:50Speaker 3: What do you think?
- 8:50Speaker 3: Big time no.
- 8:51Speaker 3: What do you think about Jim bow against Mario?
- 8:53Speaker 3: Who wins that one?
- 8:54Speaker 4: Jim bow owns Miami.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I does.
- 8:57Speaker 3: I tend to agree.
- 8:58Speaker 3: I Don't think he's lost there as a head coach, not in Miami, no he's only lost that last season here about kill me.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I think Texas A&M wins by double digits double digits yeah.
- 9:13Speaker 4: I'll tell you who I circled on the schedule after week one was Duke.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Yes, Dookies, man with the big performance.
- 9:22Speaker 3: If they get as many breaks against us as they got against Clemson, then then, yeah, I'm gonna be worried.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Well, you get the ball inside the 10 straight times.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Or yeah, you get the ball inside the 10 three-ster times.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Come away with zero points.
- 9:34Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Right yeah.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Random ball down there, and then they just turned it over twice to side the five and missed it.
- 9:42Speaker 4: Is this?
- 9:43Speaker 4: Dad was last season.
- 9:44Speaker 4: Oh, no, I think.
- 9:45Speaker 4: It might be.
- 9:48Speaker 3: They spent a lot of money on on Garrett Riley and I think they're not letting him run everything yeah yeah you got Chad Morris there as the analyst man that had already.
- 9:58Speaker 3: That's a problem right there right like that guy's just killed two other programs.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Well, he seems to be.
- 10:04Speaker 2: He's not embraced the transfer portal and you can get left behind real fast.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Yeah, if you're not embracing, then the changes in the game.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Yeah, the guys around the teams around you start getting better and right because it's not like it.
- 10:19Speaker 2: You evaluate and you improve.
- 10:20Speaker 2: I mean FS use done it every single year the past few years.
- 10:24Speaker 2: They they started with Jermaine Johnson and then they just they've only improved it.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Look at the receiver position last year they got Michael Pittman and then they just upgraded and got someone even better and Keon Coleman.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't think Davo really understands what it is.
- 10:39Speaker 4: He's a portal.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Well, his favorite musician is Garth Brooks.
- 10:50Speaker 2: So what kind of Garth Brooks?
- 10:52Speaker 4: well, you can't blame him for that.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 10:54Speaker 2: What Garth Brooks song is he?
- 10:55Speaker 4: listening to Wild horses.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Wild horse?
- 11:02Speaker 4: No, no one of the.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Dabbo goes home, goes up in his bathroom and just pops on Slayer and just oh.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Loads and then he was back on to the Yo nah, he's legit man.
- 11:20Speaker 3: I'm surprised Garth Brooks is a little a little hardcore for him.
- 11:25Speaker 4: Yeah, he's got.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Brooks, I believe, is the number two solo male artist seller of all time.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Two or three who's number one?
- 11:32Speaker 4: Behind Elvis and maybe Michael Jackson.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Wow, you kind of wonder what Garth Brooks has done in this past.
- 11:40Speaker 3: You looking number one and number two.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 11:43Speaker 4: What you think, he was a Chris Gaines fan too.
- 11:46Speaker 2: I wish I would have got in on that line, fsu line now there.
- 11:51Speaker 4: What's this bread this weekend?
- 11:53Speaker 2: There, if issues 31 minus 31.
- 11:56Speaker 4: I'll take that all day, all right.
- 11:58Speaker 4: Yeah, it's good, tate's gonna light them up.
- 12:01Speaker 4: That's the thing about when you put in these secondaries, man, they're so, they're so excited bro.
- 12:05Speaker 2: I mean, you saw, even Jordan Travis was running the, putting his shoulder down at the end of the game, when the game was already decided.
- 12:11Speaker 2: These guys are hungry, they're competitive, they just want to win every play.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, and how could you not?
- 12:17Speaker 3: I smell.
- 12:17Speaker 3: They smell blood in the water.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Man.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Like I said, LSU was doing a lot of a lot of talking and the week or so leading up to the game and even at the game, and once you know you got them whooped.
- 12:28Speaker 3: That's when you.
- 12:28Speaker 3: It's when you do stuff like that, put your shoulder down and Get extra five yards Barism you know, even if the LSU wins the SEC West again, but they have like three losses.
- 12:44Speaker 4: You know these, these college football fans.
- 12:46Speaker 4: They got them on short leashes these days, really do.
- 12:49Speaker 3: They really just look at.
- 12:51Speaker 2: I mean it doesn't get.
- 12:52Speaker 2: You can get a better example than right here.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I mean I know Val's staring down 0 and 5 right in the face and but I mean if you go back the cope Coburn said it after the loss to Jacksonville stage Like we got the right guy here and we're gonna build, we're gonna be patient, probably cuz he knew they didn't have any money.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Yeah that was also.
- 13:15Speaker 4: The last LSU coach, two years after winning a national title.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Yeah, that's an interesting Tailoring.
- 13:24Speaker 2: You was waiting on now.
- 13:26Speaker 3: Yeah, he kind of brought that on himself.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Yeah it, you know.
- 13:31Speaker 4: I'll tell you what if he was winning national titles every year?
- 13:33Speaker 4: He won, right?
- 13:34Speaker 2: Well it's also what you see behind the scenes and Not if you're winning national title.
- 13:39Speaker 4: That's true.
- 13:40Speaker 4: That's true, nothing matters, yep.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Well, big time no, with the big time prediction of game time of game one of the Florida State season, he's predicting a blowout in game two big time blowout for the home opener baby.
- 13:55Speaker 2: And we got.
- 13:57Speaker 2: We'll talk to you next week.
- 13:58Speaker 2: We'll talk about this Southern Miss game.
- 14:01Speaker 4: Look forward to the saw.
- 14:02Speaker 4: Let's break down taste performance.
- 14:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Yeah, then we'll look ahead for that to the ACC opener on the road up in Boston think we see any of the QB.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Huh, you think we see I learned, so QB three or four now rock glinner AJ Duffy.
- 14:19Speaker 3: No, yeah, I don't need.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Alright, alright, alright, big time.
- 14:24Speaker 2: No, I appreciate it, man.
- 14:25Speaker 2: What's our team next time?
- 14:26Speaker 4: All right, North Florida.
- 14:32Speaker 2: The North Florida sport, the North Florida sports net for All right.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Thanks for big time.
- 14:40Speaker 2: No, we go to.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Big time.
- 14:42Speaker 2: No, the big time hurricane.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Our Miami contributor, justin, joins me now to talk annm Jim bow Coming down to Miami, where he has not lost a game as a head coach, to take on Mario crystal ball and the Miami Hurricanes.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Justin man, what's going on?
- 15:04Speaker 2: I?
- 15:06Speaker 1: Am back, just like the.
- 15:08Speaker 1: You's gonna be back on Saturday.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Oh, I knew it didn't take long, it was just one game.
- 15:12Speaker 2: I knew it.
- 15:12Speaker 2: I knew it, I knew it was a good game and now it's back, it's back.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Hey, would I be it, would I be a true Keynes fan?
- 15:18Speaker 3: if.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I wasn't already hollering that the you was back.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Well, you know, the ticket office is, you know, wants to see a good atmosphere.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Buy one, get one free tickets.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Hey man, it works for Publix.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Well, hey, this is gonna be a huge game.
- 15:34Speaker 2: A huge game.
- 15:35Speaker 2: This is gonna this is a this can be a statement game from Miami.
- 15:41Speaker 1: What?
- 15:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a.
- 15:42Speaker 1: It's a huge game for both.
- 15:44Speaker 1: I was actually yeah it really is I.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Was actually talking to a guy out here at work earlier reporting some concrete, and he's like the only Keynes fan I know out here on the job you and like I was telling him, he was like, oh, do you think we're going to win?
- 15:57Speaker 1: I was like I think it'll be similar to last year, where it'll be competitive.
- 16:01Speaker 1: It won't be quite as poorly played as the game last year was, but I think it's going to be competitive and I think it's going to be close.
- 16:10Speaker 1: And I mean we all know my pick.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll take it to the canyons.
- 16:16Speaker 1: But we can break it down a little bit too.
- 16:18Speaker 2: What makes you think Miami is going to come away with the win this year?
- 16:23Speaker 1: Offensive line play.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Yeah, that was improved.
- 16:27Speaker 1: That offensive line man.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I mean they looked, and again it was Miami of Ohio.
- 16:32Speaker 1: But I mean the way that the like the blocking schemes in the running game were just opening up wide open holes, like the pulling guards on these little trap plays out of the shotgun.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I mean between Parrish and the freshman kid Fletcher.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I think our running backs averaged almost nine yards of carry.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:54Speaker 1: And I really don't care who you're playing.
- 16:55Speaker 1: If you've got multiple backs averaging close to double digits per carry, that's pretty damn impressive.
- 17:02Speaker 1: And you either got two awesome running backs or you've got a great offensive line, and I kind of lean towards we've got a great offensive line with some good, talented backs.
- 17:10Speaker 1: We, you know we're not running out Reggie Bush and Lendale White or anything like that, but the offensive line and that's what we got Crystal Ball for.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Crystal Ball's an offensive line guy.
- 17:19Speaker 1: He played offensive line, coach's offensive line and from what we've seen in one game a season of you know, a full year of Crystal Ball coaching these boys up and the offensive line is head and shoulders above any offensive line I've seen from Miami, maybe since Bryant McKinney and them boys.
- 17:39Speaker 4: Wow.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Well, it's going to come up with a defense.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Be able to slow down.
- 17:43Speaker 2: We'll be able to stop that running game and make Texas A&M one dimensional.
- 17:48Speaker 2: They have some weapons.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Evan Stewart comes to mind.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Who's going to guard him, you know.
- 17:56Speaker 1: But he had a great game against New Mexico.
- 17:58Speaker 1: I mean it was New Mexico, but I mean, like you know, we got to evaluate what we, who these teams, played.
- 18:05Speaker 1: We've both played weaker teams, but you got to give credit where it's due.
- 18:09Speaker 1: I mean Stewart had eight grabs for a buck, 15 and two touchdowns.
- 18:13Speaker 1: I mean that's a hell of a game it is.
- 18:18Speaker 2: But it will be found out in the trenches man.
- 18:20Speaker 2: So whoever?
- 18:20Speaker 1: can.
- 18:21Speaker 1: That's what I think too.
- 18:22Speaker 1: I think it's a ball.
- 18:24Speaker 2: You feel good about the offensive line.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Now Texas A&M has some dudes on that D line and that's going to decide it.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Will they be able to protect TVD?
- 18:34Speaker 2: Will he be able to protect the football and be turnover free?
- 18:41Speaker 2: I think that is the key for Miami.
- 18:44Speaker 2: They can't turn the ball over, give A&M easy points.
- 18:47Speaker 1: That's what happened last year and what's going to be an interesting matchup speaking of exactly that with the turnovers is in the secondary DeBerry I think it's Josh DeBerry for A&M he in game one.
- 19:06Speaker 1: He had 10 tackles and intercepted to an A&M pass defense, so you're going to probably see him, I would imagine, matched up against Colby Young and that will be a very intriguing matchup to watch on the outside.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Well, you know, texas A&M looks like they're going with Conor Wigman at quarterback or over Max Johnson, both played in the first game.
- 19:37Speaker 2: I just see it's going to be tough.
- 19:41Speaker 2: I got Texas A&M with.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Will Miami be able to run the ball on that defense?
- 19:50Speaker 2: We'll decide.
- 19:52Speaker 1: That's the game, right there.
- 19:53Speaker 1: You just nailed it If Miami can control the ball, because from what I saw last week, with the style of offense that Keynes want to play, they want to play like a more of an old school style and I don't mean, you know coach Boone out there with the remember the Titans, you know, running the beer or what, not old school, but more like old school, what we grew up with watching where the run game sets up your pass game, because nowadays the past game sets up the run.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Right you get Colby Young.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Colby Young yeah.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Colby Young, and then again I'm blanking on his name right now, but the other he was a freshman last year, number zero Smith, was it Smith?
- 20:38Speaker 1: I think I can't remember his name, number zero.
- 20:39Speaker 1: He's another wide receiver for the Canes that I liked last year as a freshman that had a couple of plays against Miami of Ohio.
- 20:46Speaker 1: But Colby Young matchup with the Berry is going to be, that's going to be the big matchup because that's their best, their secondary, versus the best of our wide receivers.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Well, if TVD's got play, if TVD's got protection, and I'll take Colby Young over to Berry because Colby Young's a grown ass man.
- 21:08Speaker 2: We'll find out.
- 21:08Speaker 2: It's going to be a fun one.
- 21:10Speaker 2: I'm looking forward to it.
- 21:11Speaker 2: It's going to be 30 Saturday in the hard rock stadium.
- 21:16Speaker 2: I'm looking forward to seeing the crowd seeing if Miami can get behind.
- 21:20Speaker 2: This is a big game and you don't have Florida State at home this year.
- 21:23Speaker 2: You need to show out if you're I mean if you're a Miami fan.
- 21:27Speaker 2: You want to see at least some kind of home atmosphere.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Yeah, you got to think that the crowd will show up, because Miami's an event town and this is an event.
- 21:40Speaker 1: The thing that's hurting is is you got a Dolphins game Sunday, but luckily that's, I believe the Dolphins are in San Diego, that's right.
- 21:48Speaker 1: So there's only one game to go to this week.
- 21:51Speaker 1: That's right, yeah, I mean, let's put Bobby Petrino in another neck brace.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Yeah, there you go, man.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Well, we're looking forward to it.
- 21:59Speaker 2: We got to get up on out of here, but before we go we'll talk about that Dolphins game.
- 22:04Speaker 2: How do you see that?
- 22:05Speaker 2: I know you're a big Dolphins fan.
- 22:07Speaker 2: How do you see that?
- 22:08Speaker 2: How are you feeling about the Dolphins this year?
- 22:10Speaker 1: Vic Fangio came in and the defense coordinator that's my biggest thing, that that I like about the Dolphins this year.
- 22:18Speaker 1: The biggest change from last year is going to be Vic Fangio and what he can do with this Dolphins defense, because this Dolphins defense is super, super talented.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Even with Ramsey being hurt, for you know what, the first six weeks, maybe two months, you still got Xavier and Howard as one corner.
- 22:37Speaker 1: You got Javon Holland at safety.
- 22:39Speaker 1: You've got a monstrous defensive line that that you can move those guys around.
- 22:45Speaker 1: You can move Chubb on the inside, you can put Wilkins on the outside, you can drop Phillips back at a linebacker.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Lots of stuff you can do with that defense.
- 22:52Speaker 2: You got the track team on offense too.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Yeah, then you got the track team on offense.
- 22:56Speaker 1: And, speaking of Texas A&M, I cannot wait to see Devon A Chang in this offense with Mike McDaniel.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:06Speaker 1: And Jeff Wilson Jr is on the IR for the first four weeks, so it's going to be most hurt in A-Chain.
- 23:12Speaker 1: A-chain is going to get a lot of action in this game on Sunday and he might be the fastest guy on the team.
- 23:19Speaker 2: I know that's crazy With a team with Tiger Hill it's insane.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Yeah, and with Jay the model, it's going to be fun.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Man, I can't wait to see it.
- 23:25Speaker 2: We, if you haven't done so, we've got an NFL pick show too.
- 23:30Speaker 2: You need to download that one.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Justin brought home the title last year.
- 23:34Speaker 2: See if he can defend that title this year.
- 23:37Speaker 2: The picks will be up Big game tonight as the Holmes, andy Reed and the Chiefs host the Lions.
- 23:45Speaker 2: I'm calling for the upset, if not now win, in my official reversal of my pick.
- 23:53Speaker 2: But hey, there's going to be a lot.
- 23:55Speaker 2: I'm going to get one each week, now is it?
- 23:59Speaker 2: So hey, thank you for listening.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Hope you enjoy all the games and we're going to react to him next week.
- 24:07Speaker 2: And we'll talk to you next time right here on the North Florida sports network.
- 24:11Speaker 2: We had to go.
- 24:15Speaker 4: Our ride is here.
- 24:16Speaker 4: We got a shuttle and they're theерre, they're theoli.
