- 0:22Speaker 1: excited to welcome Dr. Harriet Stewart to our broadcast today.
- 0:25Speaker 1: She and I actually connected thanks to social media and
- 0:27Speaker 1: a mutual friend of ours, We're going to talk about
- 0:30Speaker 1: her own journey, what it's been like for her to
- 0:32Speaker 1: discover her purpose, but also what led her to write
- 0:35Speaker 1: the book, Where Is Your Focus? From Chaos to Clarity,
- 0:39Speaker 1: Strategies to Transform Your Thinking and Live a Purpose-Driven Life.
- 0:43Speaker 1: If you're just now finding out about the book, I
- 0:45Speaker 1: will let you all know how to be able to
- 0:47Speaker 1: get your own copy of it. But Dr. Stewart, welcome
- 0:49Speaker 1: to the program.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Thank you, Mr. Cyrus Webb. It is great to be
- 0:53Speaker 2: here with you.
- 0:54Speaker 1: I appreciate that. So, Dr. Stewart, as I mentioned, you
- 0:57Speaker 1: and I met through a mutual friend of ours, Dr.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Teresa A. Smith, Dr.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Taz.
- 1:01Speaker 1: And when she first told me about you, I was
- 1:03Speaker 1: really excited about the opportunity not only to talk about
- 1:06Speaker 1: your book, but also talk about your work, because you've
- 1:10Speaker 1: been very active. I mentioned, of course, you're the author
- 1:12Speaker 1: of this book, but you also are an educator, you're
- 1:15Speaker 1: a speaker. What has it been like for you to
- 1:17Speaker 1: be able to use your voice, Dr. Stewart, to be
- 1:20Speaker 1: able to help others and to pour into others?
- 1:23Speaker 2: Well, you know, it all started. That is a great
- 1:25Speaker 2: opening question and a good segue for me to get started.
- 1:30Speaker 2: I started this journey in 1996. I was working at
- 1:36Speaker 2: a school for, at the time, they were labeled severely
- 1:40Speaker 2: emotionally disturbed children. And that weighed heavily on my heart.
- 1:45Speaker 2: And when I came home, I was exhausted. I would
- 1:48Speaker 2: share with my husband what That journey was like, it
- 1:51Speaker 2: was very draining, but also rewarding in some ways. And
- 1:55Speaker 2: God just put on my heart the name of my business,
- 2:01Speaker 2: Marvelous Moments. And what that was, was for the instructors,
- 2:06Speaker 2: the teachers and the support staff to be able to
- 2:10Speaker 2: put their hand into a jar. And I had positive
- 2:12Speaker 2: affirmations and spiritual scriptures and And they would take something
- 2:16Speaker 2: out or ask them, would you like a marvelous moment?
- 2:19Speaker 2: And they would say, yes. I would shake up the
- 2:20Speaker 2: jar so they wouldn't think I had something on top
- 2:22Speaker 2: just for them. They would take out one of the
- 2:25Speaker 2: rolled up papers in the scroll and they would read it.
- 2:29Speaker 2: And I would ask them, you can share if you like.
- 2:31Speaker 2: You don't have to. Most of them shared and said
- 2:34Speaker 2: it was something just for them. That led me to
- 2:37Speaker 2: the scriptural playing cards, matching playing cards program. And I said, Lord,
- 2:41Speaker 2: what am I going to call this? He said, Splendor
- 2:44Speaker 2: in the Scriptures, S-I-T-S. And they're matching scriptural playing cards,
- 2:50Speaker 2: three things, daily living, facing fear, and child of God.
- 2:56Speaker 2: From that, God led me to the book. I was like, oh,
- 3:00Speaker 2: my goodness. And it took me 10 years to get
- 3:04Speaker 2: the book published just to write it. And where is
- 3:08Speaker 2: your focus? I'm like, wow, where's your focus? And because
- 3:12Speaker 2: we're so distracted, my mind is going a mile a minute,
- 3:16Speaker 2: you know, and the Lord showed me you need to
- 3:20Speaker 2: slow down. You need to pay attention. You need to
- 3:23Speaker 2: stay in your lane. You need to mind your own business.
- 3:27Speaker 2: And each and every day, Mr. Webb, God has showed me,
- 3:32Speaker 2: and he told me before I wrote the book, he said,
- 3:35Speaker 2: you think you're writing this book for other people. You're
- 3:38Speaker 2: writing this book. I'm giving it to you for you.
- 3:42Speaker 2: And if other people can benefit, which they will, so
- 3:45Speaker 2: well and so good, but it's for you to start
- 3:47Speaker 2: with you. And each and every day, God has allowed
- 3:50Speaker 2: me opportunities to realize I do need to slow down.
- 3:54Speaker 2: I need to pay attention. I need to mind my
- 3:56Speaker 2: own business. I need to stay in my lane and
- 3:59Speaker 2: so much more. So this book, Where Is Your Focus,
- 4:03Speaker 2: is simply asking people, where is your focus? Because our
- 4:08Speaker 2: focus is on something, someone, or someplace. But this is
- 4:12Speaker 2: the right someone, someplace, something. And usually it is not.
- 4:17Speaker 2: It is not. So I help people not to pretend
- 4:21Speaker 2: where your focus is, not where you would like it
- 4:24Speaker 2: to be, but where is it right now, this moment
- 4:27Speaker 2: in time, and to help them to shift so that
- 4:31Speaker 2: their focus is aligned with what God has for them.
- 4:37Speaker 2: And God has something for each and every one of us.
- 4:39Speaker 2: So the book came, and when I finished the book
- 4:43Speaker 2: and published the book, I cried. And the publisher asked,
- 4:48Speaker 2: why are you crying? I said, because I feel I
- 4:50Speaker 2: have birthed something. It's no longer weighing heavily on me.
- 4:54Speaker 2: I have done what I was called to do. I've
- 4:57Speaker 2: completed that assignment. So God has given me three other books.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, really? Wow.
- 5:06Speaker 1: That's amazing. So that's so interesting. So you took us
- 5:08Speaker 1: back 30 years in, Dr. Stewart, to 1996. And what
- 5:13Speaker 1: is so interesting about hearing you talk about that, and
- 5:16Speaker 1: I think our audience can relate to this, is that
- 5:18Speaker 1: it really is a process, right? We don't get everything
- 5:21Speaker 1: all at once, and everything doesn't happen all at once.
- 5:25Speaker 1: As you said, this book was a long time coming,
- 5:28Speaker 1: but it really was in its own time. So I
- 5:31Speaker 1: want to talk about your own evolution through the writing
- 5:35Speaker 1: of the book? Because I love the fact that you
- 5:37Speaker 1: say that God pretty much let you know that this
- 5:40Speaker 1: was for you. What did Dr. Stewart learn about Dr.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Stewart as she was writing the book?
- 5:47Speaker 2: I learned quite a bit about myself. I learned that
- 5:51Speaker 2: I was looking at the speck in other people's eye,
- 5:55Speaker 2: their eyes, and not focus on the beam hanging out
- 6:00Speaker 2: my eye, dragging on the ground. I've learned that, Harry,
- 6:05Speaker 2: God puts people in your life revealing who you are
- 6:12Speaker 2: and who you are not. It made me more humble.
- 6:16Speaker 2: It made me not think so highly of myself than
- 6:19Speaker 2: I ought to. It made me stop pointing the fingers
- 6:22Speaker 2: at other people and start looking at me. It helped
- 6:26Speaker 2: me to be kinder, more tolerant, more patient with others
- 6:32Speaker 2: because Everybody, I've learned, everybody's going through something. Even little babies,
- 6:38Speaker 2: when they cry, they want to be fed, they want
- 6:40Speaker 2: to be held, they want to be changed. They want
- 6:41Speaker 2: some kind of attention. And we see that manifesting in adults,
- 6:46Speaker 2: the way they drive, the way they speak, or lack
- 6:50Speaker 2: of the way they speak to other people. They feel
- 6:53Speaker 2: they can speak to people any kind of way, treat
- 6:55Speaker 2: them any kind of way they want, and it's all right,
- 6:57Speaker 2: it's acceptable. That is not the case. And I thank
- 7:01Speaker 2: God that he continues to show me me. And he puts, again,
- 7:06Speaker 2: I'll reiterate, he puts people in my life that I
- 7:10Speaker 2: may not particularly care for or agree with so that
- 7:15Speaker 2: I can be a better reflection of him. Again, going
- 7:19Speaker 2: back to the tolerance, being kind, being patient with others.
- 7:24Speaker 2: He's taught me a lot and continues to. And he
- 7:27Speaker 2: taught me that at like a second grade level, I've
- 7:29Speaker 2: got to go to the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh.
- 7:31Speaker 2: And when I finally graduate, I will no longer be
- 7:34Speaker 2: on this plane. I will be on another plane.
- 7:38Speaker 1: I think that is the great thing because I think
- 7:40Speaker 1: a lot of times, Dr. Stewart, our audience would agree
- 7:44Speaker 1: that it's hard sometimes to help other people with things
- 7:49Speaker 1: you have not been able to help yourself with first, right?
- 7:52Speaker 1: And I think it's so interesting that you mentioned earlier
- 7:55Speaker 1: that Being an educator, and yet through this process, it
- 7:58Speaker 1: sounds like you were being educated so that you could
- 8:01Speaker 1: be able to help other people. The title itself, where
- 8:05Speaker 1: is your focus, your title of the book? And we're
- 8:07Speaker 1: going to let our audience know how to get their
- 8:09Speaker 1: own copy of it. It's a great reminder for all
- 8:11Speaker 1: of us because, as you mentioned, the world's noisy. There's
- 8:13Speaker 1: a lot going on. There's a lot of distractions. And
- 8:16Speaker 1: we have a lot of responsibilities. There's a lot of
- 8:18Speaker 1: things that we have to think about when it comes
- 8:20Speaker 1: to family, employment, and those kind of things. What has
- 8:24Speaker 1: it been like for you to introduce it to other people?
- 8:27Speaker 1: You talked about what it did for you, Dr. Stewart.
- 8:29Speaker 1: What has it been like for you to be able
- 8:31Speaker 1: to ask other people that question and to see the response?
- 8:35Speaker 2: Well, you know, most of the people that I've interacted
- 8:38Speaker 2: with have been women. There have been a few men.
- 8:41Speaker 2: And the thing for women is, especially if they're married
- 8:45Speaker 2: or even if they're single parents, as you said, they
- 8:48Speaker 2: have much, much, they have so many responsibilities. And at
- 8:55Speaker 2: this juncture in life, this time in life, when people
- 8:59Speaker 2: used to have a job, but they no longer have
- 9:01Speaker 2: that job anymore, that's an additional burden. Some of them
- 9:07Speaker 2: are separated from their significant other, their spouse, or some
- 9:11Speaker 2: of them are living in households where there's a lot
- 9:14Speaker 2: of distraction, a lot of turmoil. So for them, They
- 9:19Speaker 2: are wanting this focus and they're wanting this clarity and
- 9:24Speaker 2: they want to clean up the distractions overnight. But I
- 9:28Speaker 2: tell them, now, wait a minute. You did not come
- 9:33Speaker 2: out of your mother's womb looking like you look now, now,
- 9:36Speaker 2: did you? And they kind of chuckle and say, no,
- 9:39Speaker 2: I say life is a P-R-O-C-E-S-S. Life is a process.
- 9:45Speaker 2: We've got to be patient and patience is not something
- 9:49Speaker 2: that comes easily. I am a witness and so are they.
- 9:53Speaker 2: So they're learning how to shift from old ways of thinking,
- 9:59Speaker 2: from old ways, old habits of doing things and getting
- 10:04Speaker 2: the same disjointed, dysfunctional, uncomfortable results. So they take it
- 10:13Speaker 2: one step at a time. And what I say to them,
- 10:17Speaker 2: when you become upset, When you become daunted, you want
- 10:22Speaker 2: to give up. Don't give up. Pray. Make sure you
- 10:27Speaker 2: have some accountability partners that you feel safe, that you
- 10:33Speaker 2: feel comfortable with. Make sure you have that because we
- 10:37Speaker 2: all need someone to talk to. Yes, we can take
- 10:40Speaker 2: it to the Lord in prayer, but sometimes we need skin.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Even Jesus had 12. Plus skin. So he had people
- 10:48Speaker 2: he was teaching, and I let them know, your children,
- 10:51Speaker 2: if you have children, your children are watching you. You
- 10:55Speaker 2: can say one thing and do something else. They're watching
- 10:58Speaker 2: what you do. So first thing in the morning, I
- 11:03Speaker 2: let them know, this is the plan. What do you
- 11:07Speaker 2: think about the plan? What do you think you can change?
- 11:10Speaker 2: Most of them, they're like, oh, well, if I didn't
- 11:13Speaker 2: have the children or if I had more time. it's
- 11:18Speaker 2: not more time that you need. It's what are you
- 11:22Speaker 2: doing with the time that you have? And we need
- 11:26Speaker 2: to take breaks. Yes, we do. But don't let that
- 11:30Speaker 2: break go on and on ad nauseum. I let them know,
- 11:34Speaker 2: I ask them, what do you do when you get
- 11:36Speaker 2: up in the morning? Sometimes before they get out of
- 11:39Speaker 2: the bed, they have that phone right there, sometimes in
- 11:42Speaker 2: the bed or on the nightstand. And they go to
- 11:45Speaker 2: that phone, looking at notifications, scrolling through. And I'm like,
- 11:50Speaker 2: I used to be there too, so I know what
- 11:52Speaker 2: it's like. You can overcome that. But you need to
- 11:57Speaker 2: have some time for yourself first thing in the morning.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Have some quiet time. Well, I have all these children.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Go into the bathroom. Go someplace and let the children
- 12:10Speaker 2: know when mommy's in this space during this time, Don't
- 12:15Speaker 2: disturb me. This is my time. And let them know, yes,
- 12:19Speaker 2: it's going to take a while for them to adjust
- 12:22Speaker 2: to that, for them to accept it. But they will.
- 12:27Speaker 2: But you've got to be consistent. Consistency is the key
- 12:31Speaker 2: in terms of changing your behaviors, changing attitudes. It's going
- 12:36Speaker 2: to take some time. And we have got to learn
- 12:39Speaker 2: how to be patient with ourselves. Show ourselves some grace.
- 12:43Speaker 2: And that's what they're learning. And they're telling me, it's painful.
- 12:49Speaker 2: But when you go through it, the operative word is through,
- 12:54Speaker 2: you're going to feel better. You're going to realize your
- 12:56Speaker 2: life has taken a turn for the better. And you're
- 13:01Speaker 2: going to feel better about it. Because you're going to
- 13:04Speaker 2: set some boundaries for yourself, realizing that N-O, no, is
- 13:10Speaker 2: a word. It is a sentence. Period.
- 13:14Speaker 1: And it's a great reminder, I think, for all of us.
- 13:16Speaker 1: I want to say for those who are just tuning in, welcome.
- 13:18Speaker 1: You're listening to Conversations Live. We're excited to welcome Dr.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Harriet Stewart to our broadcast today. She's an author, speaker, educator.
- 13:26Speaker 1: She also has the book, Where Is Your Focus? It's
- 13:30Speaker 1: available now. We're going to remind you how you can
- 13:32Speaker 1: be able to get your own copy of it and
- 13:34Speaker 1: stay connected with her. You mentioned consistency. I want to
- 13:36Speaker 1: talk about persistency as well, Dr. Stewart. I think here's
- 13:43Speaker 1: the other key, though, and this is one thing I've
- 13:44Speaker 1: seen in my lifetime in being in this industry, but
- 13:49Speaker 1: also just in doing anything. Everything takes time, and so
- 13:54Speaker 1: many people think, okay, well, I've been doing this for
- 13:57Speaker 1: a week. When am I going to see the results? Well,
- 13:59Speaker 1: I've been doing this for a month. You mentioned it
- 14:02Speaker 1: took you years. to write this book, right? And everything,
- 14:07Speaker 1: you know, I think about the Israelites. It took them
- 14:09Speaker 1: years to get to the destination that they were meant
- 14:12Speaker 1: to get to. Of course, some of that was their
- 14:14Speaker 1: own fault, but they had to be persistent in order
- 14:18Speaker 1: to get there. What has that lesson been like for
- 14:20Speaker 1: you to know that even though, as you said, yes,
- 14:24Speaker 1: you know, this is a journey, but we have to
- 14:27Speaker 1: stay persistent if we truly want to see the reward? Yes.
- 14:32Speaker 2: You know, I'm glad you asked me that because we
- 14:36Speaker 2: live in a microwave society. Right. I want it now.
- 14:41Speaker 2: I want it yesterday. But yesterday is gone. So you
- 14:44Speaker 2: can't be captured yesterday. So just learning, just learning. You know,
- 14:51Speaker 2: there's a saying, have it your way. And that was
- 14:55Speaker 2: Burger King. Have you want it? But no, it's God's way.
- 15:01Speaker 2: And God's way is not always easy. In the word,
- 15:05Speaker 2: the B-I-B-L-E, it tells us in this life you will.
- 15:08Speaker 2: It didn't say maybe, oh, I think I'm not sure.
- 15:11Speaker 2: It says you will have trials. You will have tribulations.
- 15:14Speaker 2: And even if you don't believe in God, which I
- 15:17Speaker 2: hope you do, but even if you don't, your life
- 15:23Speaker 2: has not been smooth. You're going to have some bumps
- 15:27Speaker 2: in the road. You're going to have some hiccups in life.
- 15:30Speaker 2: That's just how life is. Whether you're single or you're
- 15:33Speaker 2: married or you're dating, we don't always get along and
- 15:38Speaker 2: agree with ourselves. So we, again, I go back to
- 15:42Speaker 2: that word shift. We've got to have a shift in
- 15:46Speaker 2: our mindset. Things are not always going to go the
- 15:50Speaker 2: way we think they should. Just slow down. Slow down.
- 15:56Speaker 2: People are having heart attacks and strokes because they're trying
- 15:59Speaker 2: to do so much. Someone asked me just yesterday, I'm
- 16:05Speaker 2: in this group and they were saying, oh, we need
- 16:07Speaker 2: some volunteers, but we're not going to tell you what
- 16:09Speaker 2: you're volunteering for what you're volunteering. I thought to myself,
- 16:12Speaker 2: You don't have to worry about me or be concerned
- 16:15Speaker 2: with me, volunteer, because I'm not. Because I've got so
- 16:19Speaker 2: much on my platter and people feel if I put
- 16:22Speaker 2: more on, that's going to make me feel so important.
- 16:27Speaker 2: That's going to fill up my life. And maybe, just maybe,
- 16:33Speaker 2: people need a counselor, a therapist, and that could be
- 16:38Speaker 2: your accountability partner. I stress You must have an accountability
- 16:47Speaker 2: partner because this journey was not meant for us to
- 16:50Speaker 2: do solo on our own. We need other people alongside us.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Go back to reiterate, someone you can trust, someone you
- 16:59Speaker 2: can feel comfortable, not just one person because you can
- 17:03Speaker 2: wear that person out. And when they see you calling them,
- 17:05Speaker 2: they can say, oh, that's her or him. I don't
- 17:08Speaker 2: want to talk because I know where this is going.
- 17:10Speaker 2: have multiple, maybe three or four. You don't have to
- 17:14Speaker 2: have 10, 20. No. Because too many voices can distract you.
- 17:20Speaker 2: That's another distraction. Because you have 20 people, that's 20
- 17:23Speaker 2: different opinions. That's what you don't want. Additional distractions.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Dr. Stewart, you mentioned something. I want to go back
- 17:33Speaker 1: to 1996 because again, you mentioned, of course, being an
- 17:37Speaker 1: educator and what you saw there, but the world has
- 17:40Speaker 1: changed so much since then. And as I mentioned, when
- 17:43Speaker 1: I began the conversation, one thing that we knew nothing
- 17:47Speaker 1: about at that point, I mean, I think the internet
- 17:50Speaker 1: may have been around, but social media was not around, right?
- 17:54Speaker 1: The world has changed so much. We, you and I worked,
- 17:57Speaker 1: we booked this conversation on Facebook, something that wasn't even.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Thought of in 1996.
- 18:03Speaker 1: What has that been like for you to embrace the
- 18:06Speaker 1: newness though? Because I think that's the other thing that
- 18:09Speaker 1: gets us stuck sometimes. We think, oh, I'm not going
- 18:12Speaker 1: to be involved in this or that. I'm going to
- 18:14Speaker 1: stay to doing things the way I've always done it.
- 18:18Speaker 1: And it really does show, I think, the world has
- 18:20Speaker 1: shown us that the world is moving forward, and we
- 18:23Speaker 1: really have to be able to stay current with the
- 18:26Speaker 1: way the world is moving. What has that been like
- 18:29Speaker 1: for you to embrace?
- 18:30Speaker 2: Well, let me answer it like this. Another great question.
- 18:37Speaker 2: I was not pleased with the AI, with all of
- 18:43Speaker 2: this stuff. And I was like, wait a minute. With
- 18:48Speaker 2: the Facebook, Instagram, all the social media platforms. I'm like, well, Harriet,
- 18:56Speaker 2: how are you going to get the word out? That's
- 18:59Speaker 2: another avenue for you to get the word out. And
- 19:06Speaker 2: I'm like, well, I don't want to be a dinosaur.
- 19:09Speaker 2: I don't want my business to fail. I want it
- 19:12Speaker 2: to grow. So I thought about it. I prayed about it.
- 19:17Speaker 2: I said, well, I'll go on Facebook. I'll go on LinkedIn, Instagram,
- 19:23Speaker 2: X now. And when I first started, let me say this.
- 19:28Speaker 2: I was on Facebook and I had been on there
- 19:32Speaker 2: a couple of months. And I said, I'm not getting
- 19:35Speaker 2: many hits. I call them hits or likes or whatever
- 19:38Speaker 2: you call them. And I was like, why am I
- 19:42Speaker 2: not doing this? Why am I not doing this?
- 19:45Speaker 1: Why?
- 19:45Speaker 2: What is going on? And what I found out. was
- 19:50Speaker 2: that the Lord said to me you're not on here
- 19:54Speaker 2: you're not on these social media platforms to get hits
- 19:58Speaker 2: and to get likes you're there to spread the word
- 20:03Speaker 2: and something that I do now I've been doing it
- 20:06Speaker 2: now for almost two years yeah two years On Facebook, LinkedIn,
- 20:12Speaker 2: and the social media platforms, I take a scripture and
- 20:16Speaker 2: then I expound upon it. I was going to say elaborate. No,
- 20:22Speaker 2: I don't elaborate. I expound upon it. And I sent
- 20:26Speaker 2: it out. I was sending them out daily, but that
- 20:29Speaker 2: got to be too much because things were happening. So
- 20:32Speaker 2: at least once or twice a week, I do that
- 20:35Speaker 2: to encourage. And I say it. If that's not encouraging anybody,
- 20:40Speaker 2: it's encouraging me because I see what I do. And
- 20:44Speaker 2: I'm like, wow, this is good. This is encouraging me.
- 20:49Speaker 2: And I'm sure it's connecting with someone else. And then
- 20:52Speaker 2: the likes start coming. And it was like, do not
- 20:55Speaker 2: focus on those likes. Focus on what I have given
- 20:59Speaker 2: you to do, your assignment to spread the word. And
- 21:04Speaker 2: at first I'm like, I don't know. You don't have
- 21:08Speaker 2: to know. Just trust and believe in me is what
- 21:11Speaker 2: God told me. And that's exactly what I do. So
- 21:14Speaker 2: I said I didn't want to be a dinosaur. I
- 21:16Speaker 2: wanted to be able to market and get the word
- 21:19Speaker 2: out about my book and the other things that I do.
- 21:24Speaker 2: And it was like social media is there. It depends
- 21:27Speaker 2: on how you use it. You're using it for the
- 21:30Speaker 2: greater good. You're not using it going and criticize and
- 21:33Speaker 2: talk about how large your house is. I'm not trying
- 21:37Speaker 2: to impress anyone. I'm trying to uplift. That's my goal,
- 21:43Speaker 2: to uplift people, to encourage, empower them so that when
- 21:49Speaker 2: they feel like they're giving up, no, come over and
- 21:53Speaker 2: get a word. Come over and look at the playing cards,
- 21:57Speaker 2: matching scriptural playing cards. Put one in your pocket. Meditate
- 22:02Speaker 2: on it so that when the time comes, you can
- 22:06Speaker 2: recall that scripture and use it as your sword. So
- 22:10Speaker 2: God is just working with me, in me, and through me.
- 22:16Speaker 2: And he's saying, you're there to touch the lives of
- 22:19Speaker 2: other people, including your own, Ms. Harriet.
- 22:23Speaker 1: I think for all of us to keep in mind that, again,
- 22:27Speaker 1: our gifts, you know, that we have, yes, they are
- 22:30Speaker 1: to be used, but we have to first be able
- 22:32Speaker 1: to make sure we're good stewards of those gifts. And
- 22:35Speaker 1: I love the way you talked about that, being able
- 22:37Speaker 1: to learn yourself as you were processing, you know, in writing,
- 22:42Speaker 1: where is your focus to getting more clear for yourself
- 22:45Speaker 1: so you then can be someone to help other people
- 22:48Speaker 1: among their transformational journey. Again, everyone, Dr. Harriet Stewart, this
- 22:51Speaker 1: has been our conversation. You know, Dr. Stewart, I tell
