Over 7,000 people reached out to Bodywhys last year—some battling eating disorders for over 25 years—marking the org’s 30th anniversary and its role in supporting 80,000+ since founding. With 6,696 users last year alone, including 2,612 helpline calls (43% from under-18s) and half of emails focused on teens 10–18, youth demand is soaring. Yet adults aren’t ignored: 57% of calls came from adults, including 25% over 36. Ten percent have endured disorders for 15+ years, seven percent for 25+.
