At 1 AM, a woman with facial injuries rushed into a Newport fire station for help—only to be met moments later by a man wielding what looked like a gun… it was actually bear spray. He allegedly sprayed two firefighters trying to assist the woman, who had reportedly been injured in a crash just outside the station.
