- 0:00Smila Rahmanda, Rahim Adamala, A Jorana, A Jorakum, Salaam
- 0:03Alaikum. And welcome back to another
- 0:05episode on the Aftermath podcast where we hope by now you are
- 0:08following us and subscribe to our YouTube and all our social
- 0:12media platforms as well as our Apple and Spotify platforms.
- 0:25Now today it's a special day for us.
- 0:28It's a it's a conversation that resonates with with you in
- 0:31particular being a Shia Muslim and it's one inshallah that we
- 0:34will learn and benefit from. And just like any other podcast
- 0:37we have before when it comes to those that mean the most to us
- 0:40and these are the family members of Al Allah, Muhammad Sallallahu
- 0:43Alaihi Alaihi Wasallam. We will ensure that we will have
- 0:46a conversation surrounding their lives, and this week we're going
- 0:50to focus on Lady Fatwa Zahra, the beloved daughter of Rasul
- 0:53Allah, Ali. Abdul Salati was Salaam because
- 0:55we are mourning and remembering and honouring her, because it is
- 0:59the third narration of the Knights of Fatima, the sorrowful
- 1:02Knights of Fatima. And you know, Ahmed, before I
- 1:05begin today's conversation, you know, we've, you know, shall we
- 1:10say, mourned the first narration, the 2nd narration and
- 1:13now approaching third narration. For many of us, we've been my
- 1:17journalist. For many of us, we haven't been
- 1:18to my journalist. I really want to ask since we
- 1:21have a scholar today and before we get to him today, I do want
- 1:23to mention why is it important that we have such a conversation
- 1:29on lay departments that are Salaam Wallahi?
- 1:30I lay her on a platform that's not an imaginus.
- 1:34What's the difference for this? Because before the podcast I
- 1:37heard you have a small conversation with our guests and
- 1:39I thought, you know, it would be nice for you to mention it and
- 1:41bring it up here. And condolences to everyone at
- 1:48home on the on the demise of our our Our Lady of Heaven Saviour
- 1:56to the side of alameen saida fattam zahara slam allahi Ali ha
- 2:01saida Ali. To be honest, this is probably a
- 2:03question which our special guests would be able to answer
- 2:07more more eloquently than I would.
- 2:09But just to add in terms of the the perspective from the
- 2:12podcast, I think it's important for us to rekindle our faith
- 2:17institutionally and to remind inshallah ourselves and also the
- 2:21communities that you know at the end of the day, Majalis is the
- 2:26backbone of our communities. It has been since the first, the
- 2:30first Majalis that was given after the battle of Karbala 61
- 2:35after Hijra and until this day the the majalis of the
- 2:41Azerbaijan Muslim have has spread across the world.
- 2:44You now see in every language in every corner of the globe and
- 2:47now Majalis takes different forms.
- 2:49It could be impersonal of course online as well.
- 2:52And I think the role for a podcast like this is is to
- 2:55Charlotte. Try and connect with people like
- 2:57us. You know everyday people,
- 3:00community members, mosque visiting youth who are on a
- 3:05journey and yearning inshallah to to reconnect with the last
- 3:08banter Allah through the other beta name of slam and the Quran.
- 3:11And the best way to do that is to really understand and to
- 3:14grasp our key events to a full extent.
- 3:18So the best way inshallah we can do this is to have an honest
- 3:20conversation. Some people will connect with
- 3:23the majlis and some people prefer to have a conversation
- 3:26but in all cases you need people of of knowledge and hand Allah.
- 3:30Today we have someone who has a wealth of knowledge.
- 3:34The irony is he also shares the name with you, Said.
- 3:37So it's going to be a very difficult podcast for me when I
- 3:41also introduce alongside, Said Ali, the esteemed scholar.
- 3:48Said Ali. To both of you, Olam and Adan
- 4:02Abeka VI offer my condolences, of course, to Imam Zaman Ali
- 4:06Saddam and all lovers of Lady Fatima for her martyrdom.
- 4:12I said saying that saying that it's lovely to have you in town
- 4:15and thank you very much for joining us.
- 4:16We understand your schedule is very busy while you're here in
- 4:19London so we're very grateful for your time and and the energy
- 4:22you took to be here. Saying that, I mean, this is of
- 4:26course a tragic period, and these days many of us are
- 4:29attending majalis and we're trying to understand more about,
- 4:32say, the Fatima Zahra Islam. But where?
- 4:35Where do we kind of begin when understanding such a woman of
- 4:39such great stature? Listen, I think Fatima plays
- 4:46very important and vitam role in in Shiasim because you can see
- 4:55people go and visit Imam Al Hussein even from other faiths,
- 5:01but you don't see people from other faiths, even other sects
- 5:06pay attention to Lady Fatima and we have to ask why?
- 5:12Why no one is observing Lady Fatima as she deserves.
- 5:21What's happened after the Prophet passed away?
- 5:26What's happened in the Ummah in the nation of our Prophet,
- 5:30Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam of that not only
- 5:34we don't know the status of Lady Fatima but also we don't know
- 5:38even the place of her grave. So when we go to our narrations
- 5:45and Ahlbait we see that Ahlbait Halihu Salam mentioned that no
- 5:50one can know and comprehend the status of Lady Fatima and that's
- 5:58why I lost Subhanahu talent named her Fatima.
- 6:01So all almighty God's creation cannot reach and understand and
- 6:08comprehend the status of Lady Fatima for an 18 years old lady
- 6:16who passed away days after the Prophet passed away.
- 6:23And we as she I believe that she was killed brutally by some
- 6:28hypocrites so-called some of our prophet's companions.
- 6:33And of course this is not that odd to mention because when you
- 6:39go through Quran and read Quranic verses, you can see too
- 6:45many verses of Allah's book talk about hypocrites, hypocrisy and
- 6:52hypocrites. So something is wrong in the
- 6:54nation. That's why Allah Subhanawatallah
- 6:56not only talks about hypocrisy and hypocrites but also warns
- 7:03his prophet that Hamullah Adu Fahdaram.
- 7:05If you want to see a single enemy that stand in front of
- 7:09you, confront you, you have to find that enemy amongst your
- 7:15nation, not amongst other religion, not even amongst non
- 7:22believers. So.
- 7:23He's talking within the Umba. Exactly.
- 7:26And that makes Fatima very sensitive and very vital to
- 7:33understand because I believe although Shiasm was existing in
- 7:40the era of the Prophet, all sects narrate that the prophet
- 7:45Sallallahu Salam said several times, Yeah, Ali and Ali, you
- 7:49and your followers Shia mean followers, you and your Shia.
- 7:54You and your Shia will come in the day of judgment.
- 7:56You are you know Shia will end up in heaven, you and your Shia
- 7:59this and that, but no one and you up to the martyrdom of Lady
- 8:08Father. The border of Shia and Lady
- 8:11Fatima actually draw the border of Shia.
- 8:16So if you want to be considered Shia, it's not enough for you to
- 8:20go and visit Imam Hussain Alisa, not even to cry for him, not
- 8:25even to curse his enemy. You have to understand Fatima,
- 8:29otherwise probably you won't consider it as Shia.
- 8:33So this is how important is Fatima and how we have to pay
- 8:38attention to Lady Fatima. Of course we won't be able to
- 8:44comprehend her status, but we can understand that what she did
- 8:48was magnificent and vital. And if he want to be considered
- 8:53as a Shia in the eyes of Ali Bait, you have to have two major
- 9:00things on your Saheba Tamal, your book of Deeds.
- 9:05You have to have Anwan Saheba to the moment her body of Nabia
- 9:09party. It should be written on that
- 9:12that you are lover of Alim Nabi and at the end of your Sahifa
- 9:16you need the signature of Lady Phantom.
- 9:18So you need both of that otherwise you're not fully Shia.
- 9:24Say let's say I'm not Shia and I'm hearing this for the first
- 9:26time. What significance is there for
- 9:29me, not for, not just for this world or for my akhara.
- 9:33Because a lot of people, they say, you know, we respect the
- 9:35daughter of Rasulullah, Muhammad, Allah, Ali, Ali
- 9:37Wasallah. We honor her.
- 9:39We remember her, You know, she died natural death.
- 9:41There was disagreements, there was a dispute, there was fitna.
- 9:44They call us fitna. But what is it in it for me to
- 9:47find out the truth? Because I generally believe, and
- 9:51this is my opinion, that to find out the truth, that means you
- 9:55want to seek the truth. Or if you don't want to find out
- 9:58the truth, you just want to go with the crowd.
- 10:00Wherever people say this is what you need to follow, you follow.
- 10:03We call them sheeps. I don't want to say this on on
- 10:05on the podcast, but how? Why is it important not to be a
- 10:08sheep as a Muslim, as someone who believes in Laila and Allah,
- 10:11as someone who believes in Muhammad Rasul, Allah?
- 10:14How is it important to not be a sheep and follow the path of
- 10:17Haq? Because for me personally, Far
- 10:19Kamiya is Haq and Bartha, there's nothing in this way.
- 10:23That's correct. Because Imam Ali Ali Salam the
- 10:25commander of the faithful says and actually told Kumail and
- 10:29Nasufa Alamo Rabbani civilian Ajad Muhammad, as you said
- 10:35sheep. So Alamo Rabbani means a scholar
- 10:39who is connected to heaven, So who receives knowledge of Allah
- 10:45subhanahu like the prophets of Allah.
- 10:48And of course those who get taught by the Prophet and of
- 10:52course the rest alike as you mentioned, they are ignorant.
- 10:57We can say so we need to know because it's our right and our
- 11:02duty to know because it's happened.
- 11:05But let's heaven and hell. Should we hate Abu Jahil and Abu
- 11:11Lahab or should we love them? We have to find out.
- 11:15When we go to Quran we say that Allah Subhanahu Tala mentions
- 11:19Abalahab Abalahab was the uncle of the Prophet.
- 11:21Yet we say that the Quran said that Tabatiyada Abu lab or
- 11:25uncursed Abu lab. So it's not about the
- 11:28relationship between the prophet and any of his family rather
- 11:33it's about how close they are to the Prophet.
- 11:36And this is exactly can be applied on Lady Fatima.
- 11:38It's it's not because simply that she was the daughter of the
- 11:41Prophet. No, it's much more than that.
- 11:45As the Prophet salallahu alaih al Salem said Fatima to ruhea
- 11:48leti beine jempei. Fatima is my soul that I carry
- 11:52on in my body. So see how the Prophet said
- 11:56that? Not my soul, no, no my soul that
- 11:59I have in my body. So Fatima is myself.
- 12:03So the stance of Fatima is the stance of the Prophet.
- 12:08The speech of the Fatima is the speech of the Prophet.
- 12:12The political stance of Lady Fatima is the political stance
- 12:15of the Prophet. So Fatima is very important and
- 12:21Lady Fatima is pretty important. And for other sick or even other
- 12:25religion, if someone just he's that the reason religion that
- 12:31somebody just came 14 centuries ago and claimed that he's a
- 12:36prophet of God and he has a book that was descended by that God.
- 12:43And in that book we can find traces that mentions actually
- 12:53connect the Holy Quran to other books as well somehow and other
- 12:57prophets as well. So if someone just receives that
- 13:01very obvious information, he has to go and make a thorough
- 13:05research and this is important. So if someone just hears that
- 13:11there were a dispute between Lady Fatima and the companions
- 13:19of the Prophet, he or she has to go and do a research, otherwise
- 13:29they will be fooling themselves. It's like walking in a desert
- 13:35that you pretty sure that you might let's say in Australia
- 13:39because we have too many dangerous snakes.
- 13:44OK, just walking with barefoot in the desert without knowing
- 13:48what's what you are stepping upon.
- 13:51So it's very dangerous now you can't go and sleep in the
- 13:54desert. It's very dangerous.
- 13:55You have to know how to live in the desert.
- 13:57Otherwise just avoid that and stay safe back and although you
- 14:02can find very deadly even snakes in in in your backyard but still
- 14:08you're close to the hospital, you know to hospitals and
- 14:10etcetera. So you need to do research, you
- 14:16need to know what you are doing and you need to understand who
- 14:24is hat as you mentioned and who is battle and be with hat and
- 14:28and falsify battle. I think a lot of people say a
- 14:32lot of people fail to understand that say the Fatimah Sahara
- 14:37Islam Alaihi Alaiha is the most oppressed female in Islamic
- 14:42history And from her birth said the Fatima Sahara was Umar
- 14:49Abihar and alongside her father Holy Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu
- 14:53Alaihi wasallam. And at times where, excuse me,
- 14:57at times where the Holy Prophet was in danger, he was being
- 15:01mocked, he was being exiled, said the Fatima Zahara.
- 15:05Despite her young age, 5 years old, six years old, was beside
- 15:09him like a rock. And then obviously as she grew
- 15:11older, she saw the passing of her mother.
- 15:14She grew older. She witnessed her father being
- 15:17abused on his deathbed with those who called him delirious.
- 15:20On on the calamity of the Thursday, she then had to fight
- 15:24for her rights as the daughter of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
- 15:27And of course she witnessed the mockery that the people made of
- 15:30Amira Mokminin, Alayhi, Salaam. All of this combined with the
- 15:35knowledge of what would happen to her children, Imam Hassan
- 15:39Alayhima, Salaam, Sedafatman Zahra, despite all of this still
- 15:44stood strong still at such a young and tender age, managed to
- 15:48fulfil the role of not just a competent mother, but the most
- 15:53complete mother for her children.
- 15:56As well as that, she also stood strong as the example of a woman
- 16:01who would come forth in society and be able to challenge Bartha,
- 16:06like you said said to the the people regardless of status or
- 16:11regardless of positions that people had at the time.
- 16:13She was not fearful of repercussions and she understood
- 16:18that her ultimate destiny was to be beside her father.
- 16:21We know of course, from a hadith that she knew she was to to join
- 16:25to to to join her father. The only problem I'm Salah.
- 16:30Why is there for some people a a lack of focus on Fatima in
- 16:36comparison to Muharram and Ashura?
- 16:38For example, Fatimi and Majalis maybe are less important or
- 16:44excuse me, less well attended. That maybe some people don't
- 16:48give it the the precedence and the attention it should deserve.
- 16:51Because the most sadaf, Ali Saddam, said that people cannot
- 16:54understand the status of Lady Fatim and how important she is.
- 16:58And one of the thing that we don't know, as I mentioned is
- 17:03the a grave of Lady Fatah. Where is the grave of Lady
- 17:08Fatah? When you go to the grave of Mami
- 17:10Hussain, the holy Muslim of Mami Hussain, it can touch the grave,
- 17:14it can smell the grave. But when you go to Medina, you
- 17:16don't know where you, where should you go to make a body
- 17:21contact with the grave. It's very important.
- 17:23It's it's most a habit. It's recommended to when you go
- 17:25to a grave to touch the grave as Jabrab Abdullah Al Ansari did
- 17:30When he went and visited the grave of Mami Holy grave of Mami
- 17:34Hussain, he he put his hand on the grave and then he shouted
- 17:39three times Habibi Hossein Habibi Hossein Habibi Hossein
- 17:41and he fainted out. Why when he touched the grave.
- 17:44It's something touching the grave sitting on the grave next
- 17:48to the grave weeping while you are next to the grave of Lady
- 17:52Fatima. Even she is more oppressed than
- 17:54Abu Hassan who doesn't have any Haram, who doesn't have any
- 17:56shrine, who's his shrine was was demolished OK by enemies of
- 18:02Halil Bay Times. Yet we see that Lady Fatima is
- 18:05even more oppressed then her son Al Mamel, Hassan Mustafa and the
- 18:11rest of her sons Mamzal, Abedim, Al Sadr and Mal Baker.
- 18:14Let me tell you something, I believe other sect should do
- 18:22more research about Lady Fatima and the problem is why they are
- 18:27not paying attention to the Fatima because their books
- 18:32boycott Lady Fatima. And this is the problem.
- 18:35When you go for instance to Sahih Al Bukhari see only few
- 18:39narrations of Lady Fatima but even those few narrations can
- 18:44lead you to Huck. And actually once a lady from
- 18:49other sector. I had a friend in Melbourne and
- 18:53he told me that there is a lady he she's been following your
- 18:58some of your speeches and she has some questions about shiasm
- 19:03and she'd like to contact you and she did.
- 19:05It was 1:00 AM during the month of Ramadan, although it was very
- 19:11late. But I told myself that's OK I
- 19:13will receive the call and I did and she started to talk nonsense
- 19:21how you can bring evidence from our books Sunday books that the
- 19:26azadary that you are doing in as Shia is correct.
- 19:29I said your approach is totally wrong and but let me ask you a
- 19:34few questions. Have you seen this narration in
- 19:36your book and say Muslim that the prophet said is part of me
- 19:43whoever bothers his bothering me and whoever is bothering me is
- 19:47bothering a loss of hand of that.
- 19:48She said yes, I've seen that. And I told her then, have you
- 19:52seen that the narration and those Saha books, books, very
- 19:57authentic books of Swanny's, that historians said that when
- 20:06Lady Fatima passed away, she was angry with some of her enemies.
- 20:11She said. Yes, I've seen that as well, I
- 20:13said. The only step that you have to
- 20:14take is to decide. That you whether you want to be
- 20:20and resurrect with Lady Fatima the Day of Judgement or with her
- 20:22enemy. You can't say that.
- 20:24OK, I love the sahaba. All Sahaba when I say sahaba.
- 20:27Of course some of the sahaba are excellent.
- 20:29We love them all of. But not all sahaba.
- 20:32Not everyone who is called Sahaba we can respect.
- 20:35This is wrong. You know whoever's not whoever
- 20:41is not infallible, we can we can judge him because he's not
- 20:46infallible even if he's close to the even if he's the the the
- 20:50relative of the for instance, even Abbas.
- 20:53Abbas is relative of the Prophet.
- 20:54But we can ask why he said that and why he did that because he's
- 20:57not infallible. So it's not tribunal actually
- 21:03laws that we are following. We are following Hap.
- 21:06There's something else. So it's.
- 21:09I told her it's it's the step. It's the hard decision that you
- 21:13have to make to be either with Lady Fatima or her enemy with
- 21:19Imam Ali or his enemy. And you can't just simply say
- 21:23that OK, I love Sahaba and I love Ahlube, Talyam, Salaam.
- 21:26Just imagine the battle of Jamil just is about to start just now.
- 21:34Whether you want to stand with Alibnah Abidal, the brother of
- 21:38the Prophet Nefsurasur, Allah, so the Prophet himself or I
- 21:45don't know the other party, it's up to you.
- 21:48Allah gave you the power to decide, give you the chance to
- 21:53decide. It's up to you.
- 21:54I cannot decide on your behalf. And then she was convinced and
- 21:58she said no, I'd like to be with Fatima Tazara and she became
- 22:02Shia because of Lady Fatima. So this is very important.
- 22:07And there is a book called To Date I was Guided by the Light
- 22:16of Fatima printed book, other sector scholar who was Guided by
- 22:25the Light of Lady Fatima. And this is very important is.
- 22:28This available in English. I'm not sure.
- 22:30I don't think so, but it's very famous book to be honest.
- 22:33Yeah, very. You can translate it.
- 22:37We'll search it. We'll we'll we'll we'll try and
- 22:39if we do find the translation we'll add it to the link that's
- 22:42the video. I like the point how you
- 22:44mentioned you know how you interacted with that sister who
- 22:46accepted the part of the Shaya. And you know it makes me think
- 22:50you know if if, if other schools of sex don't say acknowledge
- 22:55that the attack took place. But certainly there's lots of
- 22:58narrations that point that an attack was about to or somehow,
- 23:02you know there was, you know like.
- 23:06Attention. Attention where we're going to
- 23:07come to the house and things like this.
- 23:09Now as a Shia I I have no problem, you know, coming to
- 23:14Fatima Majalis year after year after year.
- 23:16But as a Shia, I also have Shia friends who told me to stay away
- 23:20from Majalis because Fatima Majalis can become sectarian,
- 23:23you know, can you know can make you have disagreements with
- 23:27your, let's say Sunni brothers and sisters when it comes to our
- 23:31shared belief in La Ilaha Muhammad Raswadallah.
- 23:33And they say, you know, by us holding these majalis we are
- 23:36upsetting them because we are disrespecting those who they
- 23:40Revere. Here's my question Sir.
- 23:45I'm not saying let's not hold Majalis, but I'm saying is there
- 23:49a way where we can disassociate from the killers and those who
- 23:52participated in the attack on the House of lady partners Zahra
- 23:56without being disrespectful? The 1st example I want to bring
- 24:00which I think a lot of people and I think this is a
- 24:02misconception that we need to answer here.
- 24:03Today on this podcast a lot of people say when you do LAN on
- 24:07those who killed, we are cursing and we are being disrespectful.
- 24:14Now correct me if I'm wrong, say it.
- 24:16LAN is a duan asking Allah Subhanahu Ta'ala to remove his
- 24:20mercy from such an individual. Is there any profanity in this?
- 24:25Well, listen. Because we do it with the
- 24:29killers of Imam Hussain Ali Hassan.
- 24:31We do it with the killers of Imam Ali.
- 24:34Why is it different when they depart?
- 24:36Exactly. But The thing is of course as a
- 24:39loss of Hana Matala mentions Quran Hassan.
- 24:46Even if you want to debate them, you have to do it in the best
- 24:53way, the best way. So we have to look at of course,
- 24:58if we are sitting with each others, we can talk and that's
- 25:01something else. But of course if we want to tell
- 25:06people that come and read and do research about Lady Fanta, we
- 25:10have to do it and say it appropriately.
- 25:13And that's the thing. So of course we have the right
- 25:17to judge people who are not infallible, but as well, we
- 25:21respect people's faith and we respect them for what they
- 25:26believe. But they have to respect us as
- 25:28well. Yeah.
- 25:29And we've done this, these, these researches.
- 25:34And these researches took us to a conclusion that there was a
- 25:42dispute between Lady Fatima and her enemy.
- 25:48And and of course we want to stand with Lady Fatima
- 25:50Salamullahi Alayah so if even some followers of hallowed Shia
- 25:57say that don't attend those Majalah's we can tell them that
- 26:00a loss of Hana Matala mentions in Quran that before the prophet
- 26:07was sent everyone used to worship idols.
- 26:11So can people of Mecca say and they said that and a loss of
- 26:15Hana Matala conveyed their saying in Quran.
- 26:19Can they stand up and say OK, yeah, no, what you did is wrong
- 26:23because everyone used to prostate towards idols, OK?
- 26:28And now you you took my boy off me, you took my daughter, you
- 26:32took my father, you took my wife.
- 26:34OK. And now they are believe they
- 26:37are they do believe, they are believing in the oneness of
- 26:40Allah Subhanahu. They don't believe in idols.
- 26:42So what you did is wrong, and Allah Subhanahu mentions that
- 26:51they were in darkness and somebody brought the light to
- 26:56them, and some of them recognized the light and
- 27:00accepted the light, and some of them rejected the light.
- 27:04So bringing the light, is it wrong?
- 27:05Of course not, but you have to do it in the right way.
- 27:08So probably I disagree with all of your you know saying, but
- 27:15yes, the main thing that's correct you have to attend and
- 27:19of course speakers and lecturers have to try their best to apply
- 27:29teachings in accordance to Quranic teaching.
- 27:34I was able to tell that Lady. Listen, you are from other
- 27:39sector and I don't have the mood to debate with you.
- 27:43It's 1:00 AM already. I'm very tired.
- 27:45I just finished my majorities. I'd like to go to bed.
- 27:48And your question is an answer I'm not gonna debate with.
- 27:51But no, I have to tell her. OK.
- 27:53What do you think? It's up to you.
- 27:56Do you have this narration? Have you seen this narration?
- 27:58If you haven't, I will send it to you.
- 28:01And then you can decide. Take your time.
- 28:03And I didn't force it. This is the what I believe.
- 28:06This is my approach. Just have a think.
- 28:08And then she contacted that man and told him that that's it.
- 28:12I believe I'm going to stand up. A lot of times they do,
- 28:15especially in in this society. I'm sure it's probably the same
- 28:19in Australia and in in other parts of the world.
- 28:22But in the society we live in here, the like, there's a lot of
- 28:27expletives and a lot of antagonism when it comes to
- 28:31other schools, especially hardline Salafis who will attack
- 28:36the Shia based on our opinions and what our our archaid is and
- 28:40what our theology and history says.
- 28:42And of course the irony is, is that a lot of the time when
- 28:47those who represent our school of thought respond, we don't
- 28:51come with the same aggression, the same anger sometimes that
- 28:56sometimes certain of those YouTube Dawa scholars will have,
- 29:00for example. So we will try and adhere to.
- 29:03I say we, I mean those who represent or represent the
- 29:06school of thought online. Will will, will, will try and
- 29:09speak with more diplomacy and sometimes it goes far and
- 29:12sometimes it doesn't. But the aggressive dawa approach
- 29:15tends to have an effect and it tends to reel people in.
- 29:19You know, those who are on a search for Huck and those who
- 29:21are on a search for guidance and what is truthful in history are
- 29:25usually pulled in by certain scholars who are more blunt and
- 29:28more direct. And you know, compared to maybe
- 29:31some of our scholars or not even our scholars, but our youth who
- 29:34are debating online who are more passive in their approach
- 29:37generally. I want to kind of move on with
- 29:40your permission to a slightly different.
- 29:41Yeah, that's OK. But I don't call that diplomacy,
- 29:43to be honest. It's the teachings of because
- 29:46diplomacy. When we call it diplomacy,
- 29:48probably people might think that you are trying to manipulate.
- 29:52People's minds. So it's not even if they slander
- 29:55us, curse us, we're not going to do the same thing.
- 29:57Because it's not. The ethical?
- 30:00Yeah, yeah, exactly. So if someone doesn't, Sure, in
- 30:05my faith, yeah, who will tell them?
- 30:07In our Yakumla Allahuddin, either us or you.
- 30:13One of us should be on the right path.
- 30:15The other one should be the other party.
- 30:18So a loss of we don't have any fight, to be honest, with
- 30:22anyone. The thing is, we want people to
- 30:24open their eyes. I said this is the thing.
- 30:27And this is not diplomacy. This is, this is actually our
- 30:30strategy. We want people to open their
- 30:33eyes. Then they can decide.
- 30:35I'm not going to force them. It's up to them like or have a
- 30:37Dean. Like or have a Dean.
- 30:39I'm not going to, I'm not going to push anyone to accept my
- 30:42faith and I'm not going to give anyone the right to push me to
- 30:50to to accept his face as well. So I'm Freeman and he's Freeman.
- 30:55But I have the right and obligation to at least tell them
- 31:00what I think is truth or. Narrative.
- 31:03Yes exactly. And their narratives as well.
- 31:06The hadith. This is very obvious that I've
- 31:10left behind the the book of Allah, Subhana.
- 31:14What Allah? And it's up to you.
- 31:18If you don't want them, good luck.
- 31:22But you can't judge me because I've got wisdom and intellect
- 31:29species and I have the right to decide for my destiny.
- 31:34You cannot decide on my behalf. That's my right.
- 31:37You can come to your own conclusion.
- 31:38You decipher and like you said giving.
- 31:41I think especially as in martial law in in your approach it comes
- 31:45across that you would just want to convey the knowledge to the
- 31:49people and the truth will speak itself.
- 31:51You know, if you're searching for the truth, like you said at
- 31:53the beginning, saying it you it will find you and you will find
- 31:56Huck. If you inshallah, we have the
- 31:58sincere NIA and our desire is to find that saved.
- 32:02Obviously we live in a world at the moment which is heavily
- 32:04politicized, and we're seeing a lot of oppression around the
- 32:09world. We're seeing a genocide taking
- 32:13place in the Philistine and we're seeing the occupation of
- 32:16people who are struggling for basic human rights, Philistine,
- 32:20for example. It's illegal to collect
- 32:22rainwater that open your mouth and drink water that falls from
- 32:26the sky or to water your crops, so oppression to such a degree
- 32:31is not new in Philistine, but it's also certainly not new in
- 32:34human history. Oppression has existed
- 32:37throughout the course of human history and this this the the
- 32:41key stories and the pinnacles that we see in in the lives of
- 32:44the Alabama Salaam and in particular in the life of say
- 32:47the Pathan Zaharah is that there should never be a time where
- 32:52oppression should take precedent and and be allowed to take place
- 32:56without the voice of someone who's speaking justice.
- 33:00What is the the the way in which said of Artem Zara and his
- 33:04Salaam spoke for justice? And in today's day and age, when
- 33:08we see oppression in different forms, in philistine, in other
- 33:12parts of the world, or even in day-to-day interactions, how do
- 33:15we take from that example from her and apply to our own eyes?
- 33:18Listen, I think what Lady Fatima did wasn't for herself.
- 33:23So she wasn't simply asking for FedEx.
- 33:26I don't think so. I believe that she was asking
- 33:29for FedEx because not only it was her right to have it, but
- 33:34also they don't want. She didn't want to give tyrants
- 33:41the opportunity to confiscate people's properties and what?
- 33:45So she didn't want to be quiet on what they are doing and she
- 33:51did not even enter the battlefield against some of the
- 33:56companions simply because she was not happy with them.
- 34:01She did that to protect the Commander of the Faithful, the
- 34:04Imam of her era, peace be upon him.
- 34:08So what she did was she sacrificed herself to protect
- 34:12the Imam. She sacrificed her Life.
- 34:15OK to to to protect people's wealth and etcetera.
- 34:21And this is exactly what should we do.
- 34:23This should be our strategy. If we see any oppressions around
- 34:27the globe, we have at least to talk.
- 34:29We are not with the killings of innocent people, as simple as
- 34:34that. Is that hard to say?
- 34:35No, of course not. It's not hard.
- 34:37We are not with those who who who do not give people the right
- 34:44to live in their lands, for instance.
- 34:48So if someone wants to invade your house or your your, your,
- 34:51let's say your neighbor's house, you have to take an action.
- 34:55You have to try to tell them. Attistiom, call the police.
- 34:59Do this and I can call the police on your behalf.
- 35:02Tell me what you want. OK, so this is what we can learn
- 35:07of a little bit and listen. Imam Hussain was killed.
- 35:10Why? Because people of Iraq sought
- 35:15his, his interference to rescue them from Omayyat.
- 35:21And then he went there and they betrayed him and he was killed.
- 35:26So he went there to help them. He didn't have any problem in
- 35:31Medina. He was there.
- 35:33And then let's say at least he didn't have any problem in Mecca
- 35:36because he moved from Medina to Mecca.
- 35:38Yazid wanted Imam Hassan to pay allegiance.
- 35:41Of course he did not. And he moved to Mecca.
- 35:43And Mecca, you know, his holy city, It's was very hard for
- 35:46Yazid to ignite a fight against Maham Hussein or a war in Mecca.
- 35:52I'm not saying that he wouldn't do that.
- 35:54Of course Yazid would do that as well.
- 35:57But it was easy for Maham Hussein to just leave alone the
- 36:04people of Iraq who who betrayed his father as well, you know.
- 36:07But he did not do so. And even he told Ibn Abbas and
- 36:10his brother Muhammad Hanafiya. You are that you are telling me
- 36:14to avoid going to erupt because you're telling me that some of
- 36:17them betrayed my father. OK, but what should I do with
- 36:21their letters? They're asking for our help and
- 36:24we are careful what I we are The Cave that people can come and
- 36:27seek refuge in our cave. You know, they want us to help
- 36:33them. So that's why mom hasn't
- 36:34sacrificed him. So it's it wasn't simply that
- 36:37they wanted to protect their rights.
- 36:39No, Imam Ali Ali Salaam says. We have right.
- 36:47If people are willing to give us our right, otherwise we're not
- 36:50going to fight for it. They want to govern.
- 36:53Let them go. Good luck.
- 36:56It's not about Dunya. We hate dunya.
- 36:58We hate dunya. Even when Imam Ali Ali Salaam
- 37:03took back the Khilafah when they elected him the first election
- 37:07in history, when they elected Imam Ali Ali Salaam, people
- 37:13elected Mama Ali set up Mama Ali did not confiscate it back the
- 37:18FedEx and he said must not be FedEx.
- 37:20Why FedEx? What should I do with FedEx?
- 37:21I don't need FedEx. It's not about FedEx.
- 37:23It's not about FedEx. Was it almost?
- 37:25Exact FedEx was symbol, symbolic symbolic symbol of oppressions
- 37:32and oppressed people and oppressors and tyrants.
- 37:37Because that you can argue that, say, the Fatim Sahara's initial
- 37:41stand for Fadak, like you said said, was to prevent it
- 37:44happening again in the future, but also to make it known to
- 37:47those who are attempting to confiscate and steal the land
- 37:51that this is not acceptable. It's not acceptable to me, it's
- 37:54not acceptable to those after me, and no one should allow this
- 37:57to remain acceptable. Yeah, there's another point as
- 38:00well. Why?
- 38:00Lady Fatima raised the Fadak land as well.
- 38:06I believe that the enemies were aiming Imam Ali Ali Salam and
- 38:13she wanted to drag away. Attention.
- 38:17Their attention from Ali to something else.
- 38:19That's why she talked about FedEx and she was the most
- 38:25successful oppressed lady in human's history.
- 38:33Who who was able to accomplish her mission, and she did and
- 38:40stayed alive. She did it very wisely.
- 38:44That's that's a true partnership and true love for one another.
- 38:51This is and we know you know lazy father of Allah Allah not
- 38:55just with the Imam Ali but even with Rasool Allah.
- 38:56I remember as a child growing up it's always a hit.
- 38:59A hadith, for example, you know, things like this.
- 39:06So, you know, plays a huge significant, you know, influence
- 39:09on us as Muslims. But you know, say there is one
- 39:12thing that you started off with this conversation today and it's
- 39:16something we always do and we always do that as well, which
- 39:19is, you know, that's Sir. What is that, Sir?
- 39:27What is that secret? It's.
- 39:30I know that there's a secret behind it, but what does it
- 39:32actually mean? What's the meaning behind?
- 39:36It if we can understand the secret, it's not secret anymore.
- 39:39Yeah, so probably it's the light of man Mehdi probably.
- 39:46And I think there is stronger relation between Imam Mehdi and
- 39:52Lady Fatima. Both of them did not pay
- 39:55allegiance to any tyrant and lady father would not pay
- 40:00allegiance and Imam Mehdi will not pay any allegiance to any
- 40:05tyrant and that's why man Mehdi says leave sallallahu alayhi
- 40:10wasallam or Swatan Hassan. Everyone is waiting and hoping
- 40:16and put his hope in Imam Al Mehdi Ali, his Salaam while Imam
- 40:21wants to follow the footsteps of Imam Mehdi while Imam Mehdi says
- 40:24that I want I am a follower. Of the daughter, he didn't say.
- 40:32Even my grandmother, the daughter of the prophet and
- 40:43probably the series. Of course, it's a great secret
- 40:47that we cannot understand how he will spread justice.
- 40:51And I believe he will spread justice using justice because
- 40:55sometimes some people come, revolutioners come and say that,
- 41:01OK, I want to spread justice and I don't care even if I kill
- 41:04100,000 innocent people in the way, you know, because what I'm
- 41:09doing is, is a sacred goal. So I'm going to reach that even
- 41:13with a cruel methods. But Mahmati Ali said I won't do
- 41:17that. He will spread justice with
- 41:19justice. And are we ready for that?
- 41:23I don't think so. We're not still ready to spread
- 41:27justice with justice the humanity.
- 41:30When I say humanity should be ready, it means that Imam Mahdi
- 41:36al Assam, when he comes, he's not a killer machine, rather
- 41:40he's a savior. So just assume that he comes
- 41:44while 3 billion people do not believe in him, do not know him,
- 41:51and wants to fight him. You're not going to kill 3
- 41:54billion people. You know he's not a killing
- 41:57machine. He represents almighty God's
- 41:59mercy. So yes, the serve, the secret is
- 42:03something that we don't know, but maybe it's Imam Ali, Ali.
- 42:06So we're certainly most of that fear because we are talking
- 42:08about personalities. The Prophet, Imam Ali, Ali,
- 42:14Salam Al Hassane and the Sir, what is the secret?
- 42:17So maybe he's he's somebody. Maybe that's the possibility
- 42:22that this this secret is somebody and that that is no one
- 42:26but. Shallow we we, we pray and we
- 42:28hope and the shallow we live to see return the joyous return.
- 42:31Like you said, he's not. He's not a killing machine.
- 42:33Yeah. Charlotte's a joyous return and
- 42:35will benefit from his reappearance.
- 42:37Being the law. Said, you know, being fat of me.
- 42:39You know we spoke a bit about some narrations little
- 42:42misconceptions. You know, what's our narrative?
- 42:44What does like the other side say?
- 42:46But maybe it's the first time someone actually listening to
- 42:50something got to do with fat me. What is it that actually that we
- 42:54believe happened a Shia today? Departments are what led not the
- 42:59incident itself, but what led to the stage where we can say, you
- 43:03know, something happened and this is where we should honour
- 43:07her and mourn her and remember her and never forget what
- 43:11happened to me. Departments what like 2-3 things
- 43:14we can take and for those for the first time coming across,
- 43:17part of me as a concept keeping a new idea to them, what are
- 43:20they going to? Learn, go and read the sermon of
- 43:22FedEx and you can realize why the home, the House of Lady
- 43:29Fatima was ambushed and why Lady Fatima was killed.
- 43:34Because when you read the sermon of FedEx, you can understand how
- 43:41frankly she expressed her opinions and how she strongly
- 43:50passed the message not only to the tyrant but also to the
- 43:54nation as well. So, and of course they did not
- 43:59expect Lady Fatima to revolt against them because she was a
- 44:03lady OK, who used to be most of her time in her house, OK,
- 44:10praying and helping Marali and raising the kids.
- 44:14And suddenly she went to the mosque of the Prophet and
- 44:18delivered the most significant sermon ever.
- 44:24So I believe when they went to the House of Lady Fatima, they
- 44:26were aiming Lady Fatima and they went there to kill her.
- 44:31Why? Was a way to silence.
- 44:34Her. Exactly.
- 44:37They won't tolerate her next sermon and after that and
- 44:42narrations and and and I don't know, addressing the nation's No
- 44:45way. So Lady Fantima, what Lady
- 44:49Fatima did, she exposed herself. She made herself a shield to
- 44:56protect Imam Ali and that's why she delivered that fiery sermon
- 45:03in the mosque of the Prophet. So she dragged.
- 45:05All. Envies away from Ali towards
- 45:11herself and her baby. So seldom said Inshallah we can.
- 45:17We pray that we are worthy to be called amongst the Shia and we
- 45:24praise our last Montala to grant you more more opportunities to
- 45:28serve the community both here inshallah now and in the future.
- 45:33We'd love to to have you again inshallah on the podcast.
- 45:35If you'd love to join us again we'd be honoured and also around
- 45:38the world inshallah may allow give you more opportunities to
- 45:41to continue learning and teaching and and passing on your
- 45:44knowledge. Thank you so much.
- 45:45Thanks for being with us. Say it as well.
- 45:49Thank you as always. Your questions?
- 45:50You have to thank the original, say that you.
- 45:55OK, let me tell you just something.
- 45:58Just go and Instagram right side.
- 46:01Everyone will see your your photos not me.
- 46:03So you are the original. Maybe we'll maybe we'll swap
- 46:08said Ali for for the original, said Ali.
- 46:10I don't mind not to Australia, OK most.
- 46:13Welcome. No.
- 46:16Today was very eye opening and you know I I really pray and
- 46:19hope that everyone is listening to this and and some questions I
- 46:22asked it wasn't like maybe because of me.
- 46:24No it was on behalf of our audience.
- 46:26Yeah but there's a reason for these questions because a lot of
- 46:28people like they know the truth. They're seeking the truth but
- 46:32they they don't want to chase it.
- 46:34And Charlotte, this is an opportunity for them where
- 46:36inshallah, they've been so educated towards seeking the
- 46:39path of Ha. That's what's important.
- 46:41And I know I learn a lot and shall everyone found it
- 46:43beneficial. And shall I look?
- 46:45Forward to having you on after. Inshallah, inshallah, stay tuned
- 46:51as always. We are going to be back next
- 46:53week but in the next few days leading up to the third
- 46:58narration shahadat of Setafatam Zahraleh Salaam, please keep us
- 47:01in your dars. Please remember all of those who
- 47:03are oppressed and all of those who have no one to pray for them
- 47:07at this moment in time. And inshallah we will be back
- 47:10next week. Leave your comments, your
- 47:11feedback down below. What is the lesson that you take
- 47:15away from the life of Setafatam Zahra?
- 47:17There a particular statement in the seminar fedock that you
- 47:20really appreciate or or is is something there that that makes
- 47:24you think? And is there something that you
- 47:27want to share with us that maybe we can bring up in our next
- 47:29week's discussion? Let us know and inshallah, we
- 47:32will see you. Then said Ali and said Ali.
- 47:35Thank you again and we'll see you next week everyone.
- 47:37Sha Allah.
