- 0:01Speaker 1: Good morning, family. Good morning. God bless you. Welcome back
- 0:03Speaker 1: to the morning. Devos, your bro, Sam Lopez. God bless you.
- 0:06Speaker 1: It's good to see you again. We're here in the
- 0:09Speaker 1: studio live, 5.30 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. I try to
- 0:12Speaker 1: get here Mondays through Fridays, but sometimes the night before,
- 0:18Speaker 1: or maybe I'm at an event, or maybe I'm out
- 0:20Speaker 1: of town, or maybe I'm doing something else, or just
- 0:23Speaker 1: life happens. Sometimes I can't be in the studio. But
- 0:26Speaker 1: today we're back. Amen. Today we're getting into a new book.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Finished off in the book of Hebrews. Amen. Now, the
- 0:34Speaker 1: Lord prompted me to go to one of my favorite books.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I was making sure it wasn't me and my emotions
- 0:40Speaker 1: because I love the book of Romans. But here we are.
- 0:43Speaker 1: The Lord led me to the book of Romans. We're
- 0:46Speaker 1: going to be in chapter 1, verse number 18. And
- 0:48Speaker 1: this month, and from the time it's recording, we're in
- 0:52Speaker 1: the month of October. And a lot of fear, right,
- 0:57Speaker 1: is being promoted. Fear of the Lord, right? Not the
- 1:01Speaker 1: fear of the Lord, but the fear of ghouls and goblins,
- 1:04Speaker 1: the fear of so many other things is being promoted heavily, right?
- 1:10Speaker 1: In the month of October. Halloween, of course, being the
- 1:14Speaker 1: theme for many people who celebrate the Day of the
- 1:19Speaker 1: Dead or Satan's holiday, people call it, or whatever it is.
- 1:23Speaker 1: So people are looking towards that fear. But what about this?
- 1:28Speaker 1: Have you ever thought about the wrath? That, to me,
- 1:34Speaker 1: puts fear in perspective. Not fear in my heart because
- 1:38Speaker 1: I have a new heart, a new mind, right? Because
- 1:42Speaker 1: I'm born again. But the fear of being judged, being
- 1:50Speaker 1: under the wrath of an almighty, all-knowing God, the wrath
- 1:55Speaker 1: of God. We're going to be in Romans 1, verse
- 1:57Speaker 1: number 18. Let's pray. If you have any questions, comments, concerns,
- 2:02Speaker 1: or any prayer requests, please don't hesitate to leave it
- 2:05Speaker 1: on the live chat wherever you're watching from or listening from.
- 2:09Speaker 1: I suggest you go to someoneiswithaz.org in the live stream
- 2:13Speaker 1: tab or live.someoneiswithaz.org and go ahead and there's a live
- 2:19Speaker 1: chat there. There's a live interactive Bible there. That's my
- 2:23Speaker 1: highly recommended website, live.someoneiswithaz.org for these morning devos. and anything
- 2:28Speaker 1: that has to do with Scripture and Bible studies or
- 2:32Speaker 1: anything like this, right? It's distraction-free over there, and come
- 2:37Speaker 1: on in. We invite you there as well. So let's pray. Father,
- 2:40Speaker 1: I thank you for today. I thank you for the
- 2:42Speaker 1: evidence of your grace and your mercy upon my life,
- 2:45Speaker 1: upon my family's life. I thank you, Lord God, for
- 2:48Speaker 1: releasing my mom out of the hospital. She was in
- 2:52Speaker 1: there for a little bit, and you saw it. Saw
- 2:55Speaker 1: to it that she was released. I pray, Lord God,
- 2:58Speaker 1: I have your protection over myself, over my family, over
- 3:02Speaker 1: our children. I pray, Lord God, for my wife and
- 3:05Speaker 1: her back. I pray that you would touch her and
- 3:08Speaker 1: heal her and her back in the areas that she
- 3:11Speaker 1: has pain right now in the powerful name of Jesus.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I pray, Lord God, even for my enemies, those who
- 3:17Speaker 1: don't like what we do at Soul Winners, those who
- 3:20Speaker 1: don't like me. I pray a blessing over them, Lord God.
- 3:23Speaker 1: During these times, Lord God, we need to come together.
- 3:27Speaker 1: and really have faith and hope and trust in you,
- 3:31Speaker 1: Lord Jesus. So I pray that you would speak during
- 3:34Speaker 1: this morning Devo concerning the wrath of God. And I
- 3:38Speaker 1: thank you, Lord God, that you have continually amazed and
- 3:42Speaker 1: continually convinced and continually had my eyes open, my ears
- 3:47Speaker 1: open to what you're doing in my life and my heart.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I pray for every single person that's listening and watching
- 3:51Speaker 1: right now that you grant them favor, that you would
- 3:54Speaker 1: speak to them, shine your face upon them, and that
- 3:57Speaker 1: they too will experience the grace, mercy, and love of God,
- 4:00Speaker 1: and that you will guide God and protect them as well.
- 4:02Speaker 1: In the powerful name of Jesus, I pray this by faith,
- 4:04Speaker 1: and those who agree, we say amen to the amen.
- 4:08Speaker 1: All right, help me share this out as we get
- 4:10Speaker 1: into this. We're going to get into Romans chapter 1,
- 4:13Speaker 1: verse number 18. And Romans, you know, is one of
- 4:20Speaker 1: my favorite books in the scriptures, right? Especially Romans chapter 12.
- 4:25Speaker 1: One of my favorite ones. As a matter of fact,
- 4:28Speaker 1: Romans chapter 12 is part of the beginning of Sailor
- 4:34Speaker 1: Radio Network's Soul Winners. You know, Romans chapter 12. When
- 4:37Speaker 1: we get there, Lord willing, I'll have an opportunity to
- 4:40Speaker 1: explain what I mean by that. Romans 1.18. For the
- 4:45Speaker 1: wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness
- 4:53Speaker 1: and and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth by
- 5:00Speaker 1: their wickedness. Man, oh man, listen, I could go so
- 5:05Speaker 1: many places with this, but Lord Jesus, help me stay focused.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Help me be an encouragement. Help us be transformed, right?
- 5:15Speaker 1: One morning at a time before I go on tangents, right?
- 5:19Speaker 1: So I'm right now fighting against my emotion to say
- 5:23Speaker 1: something right now. And I'm relying on Holy Spirit to
- 5:26Speaker 1: just speak through this. For the wrath of God is
- 5:28Speaker 1: revealed from heaven against all ungodliness. And we see a
- 5:33Speaker 1: lot of ungodliness right now going on inside the religious
- 5:40Speaker 1: system and outside in the kingdom of darkness, right? We
- 5:44Speaker 1: see it and unrighteousness of men. What are they doing though?
- 5:49Speaker 1: Why is this wrath upon them? Because they're suppressing the truth.
- 5:53Speaker 1: What truth? I believe it's the gospel truth. How? How
- 5:56Speaker 1: are they suppressing their truth? Well, by their wickedness, right?
- 6:00Speaker 1: This is something that's so relevant to our time. This
- 6:04Speaker 1: is something that's so relevant to what's happening in our
- 6:07Speaker 1: days and our time. So for all those people who
- 6:10Speaker 1: say the scriptures, oh, the scriptures are old and outdated
- 6:13Speaker 1: and irrelevant, you need to really check yourself or check
- 6:17Speaker 1: the scriptures for yourself, I should say. Amen? See if
- 6:20Speaker 1: this is not relevant. especially in the days we're living
- 6:23Speaker 1: in now, right? So there has to be some kind
- 6:27Speaker 1: of understanding of the word when you get to this
- 6:30Speaker 1: wrath part, because we know, I know, that God is
- 6:33Speaker 1: a God of love, grace, and mercy, right? God is loving.
- 6:38Speaker 1: God is merciful. He's patient with us. Thank you, Jesus,
- 6:42Speaker 1: for being patient with me. He's patient with us, but
- 6:46Speaker 1: he is also, listen to this, holy and righteous, right? Right?
- 6:52Speaker 1: Holy and righteous. He's a just God as well. So
- 6:58Speaker 1: I know a lot of people want to bypass the
- 7:01Speaker 1: justice of God. They just want His goodness. You know
- 7:06Speaker 1: what I mean? They know He's holy. They want His goodness.
- 7:11Speaker 1: But they forget He's a just God. A just God.
- 7:14Speaker 1: His wrath. God's wrath. You know, when you're born again,
- 7:19Speaker 1: you know what we're saved from, right? We're saved From
- 7:22Speaker 1: the wrath of God. The wrath of God. I'm trying
- 7:29Speaker 1: to stay focused here. There's a lot there. His wrath
- 7:31Speaker 1: is not an uncontrolled outburst of anger. I can't take
- 7:39Speaker 1: this anymore. I'm out of here and I'm going to
- 7:41Speaker 1: give the wrath of God to all of creation. That's
- 7:43Speaker 1: not the God we serve. It's not an uncontrolled outburst
- 7:48Speaker 1: of anger. It's about His righteousness, though. His righteousness and
- 7:55Speaker 1: His response to our sin. Past, present, future. Right? His
- 8:05Speaker 1: response to evil in this world. People say all the time, well,
- 8:10Speaker 1: if your God is so good, why does He allow
- 8:13Speaker 1: evil in the world? And the follow-up question that I
- 8:17Speaker 1: have is why will He allow our evil to exist.
- 8:22Speaker 1: It's His grace, His mercy, His sovereignty, His all-knowing ways. Amen?
- 8:29Speaker 1: He's all-knowing. Sister Miriam, good morning. God bless you, my sister,
- 8:33Speaker 1: my friend. It's good to see you in the morning, Devo.
- 8:35Speaker 1: So God is loving. God is merciful. God is patient
- 8:40Speaker 1: and full of grace. Love it, right? But He's also
- 8:44Speaker 1: the God of wrath, Al-Ghubur, the God of war, righteousness,
- 8:50Speaker 1: On all his ways, right? But he's controlled, right? He
- 8:54Speaker 1: has self-control. God is all self-sufficient. Not an outburst of
- 8:59Speaker 1: anger for no apparent reason. God is not up there
- 9:03Speaker 1: pointing fingers at us. You did this wrong. I'm going
- 9:05Speaker 1: to put the wrath upon you. That's not the God
- 9:07Speaker 1: we serve. So in this scripture, Romans chapter 118 is
- 9:12Speaker 1: a reminder to us, right? That God takes sin seriously. Seriously.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I take sin seriously, right? The flesh is always like,
- 9:23Speaker 1: I call it the hype man for sin. That's what
- 9:29Speaker 1: the flesh is. Holy Spirit is like my servant, my son,
- 9:35Speaker 1: my daughter doesn't have to sin, right? Do you know
- 9:39Speaker 1: that you don't have to sin, right? I know the
- 9:42Speaker 1: Americanized gospel, the Americanized church system has told you, you
- 9:46Speaker 1: have no power over sin. In the gospel, the truth
- 9:50Speaker 1: of it is that we do have power over sin.
- 9:53Speaker 1: When you're born again, we have Holy Spirit that doesn't
- 9:56Speaker 1: want to sin. That's why, haven't you noticed, that when
- 9:59Speaker 1: you're going to wrong way, when you're in sin, as
- 10:02Speaker 1: a believer, it doesn't sit right. It doesn't feel good.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Sin is pleasurable for a season to the flesh. Holy
- 10:10Speaker 1: Spirit in us does not sin. So it's not pleasurable
- 10:13Speaker 1: for Holy Spirit when we sin. Right? So Romans 118 says,
- 10:18Speaker 1: Reminds us that God takes sin seriously when we knowingly
- 10:23Speaker 1: and when people knowingly, like they know what they're doing,
- 10:27Speaker 1: reject his truth knowingly. I know what you're saying, God,
- 10:31Speaker 1: but I'm going to do this anyway. When you're in
- 10:34Speaker 1: that position and you choose unrighteousness, you're going to stand
- 10:40Speaker 1: in opposition or I could stand in opposition to his
- 10:45Speaker 1: holy character. It's not a good representation. Of the Lord
- 10:49Speaker 1: right there. Right? There's a battle going on daily. I know.
- 10:53Speaker 1: It's tiring. To me, it's tiring. I think the flesh again.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Here it is. Unbelief again. Here it is. People who
- 11:00Speaker 1: are in disobedience. Here it is. People who reject the gospel.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Here they are. Right? Disrespect. Out of order in the family.
- 11:08Speaker 1: All that stuff. That thing is burdensome to me. Right?
- 11:12Speaker 1: That thing becomes heavy sometimes. But I have to remind myself. Listen.
- 11:17Speaker 1: I have Holy Spirit guiding me. He's one. He's true.
- 11:20Speaker 1: He's alive. He's active. The Lord God is full of grace, mercy,
- 11:25Speaker 1: and he's righteous and he's holy and he's just. So
- 11:28Speaker 1: I'm holding on to the justice of God, holding on
- 11:30Speaker 1: to the righteousness of God. I'm holding on to him.
- 11:33Speaker 1: And one day, whatever, however, and whatever is happening in
- 11:39Speaker 1: my life and in your life, hold on to the
- 11:41Speaker 1: Lord Jesus. And he's going to see us through it, right?
- 11:45Speaker 1: He's going to position us that we're already seated in
- 11:47Speaker 1: heavenly places. So imagine that. We're already seated in heavenly places.
- 11:51Speaker 1: So hold on to his love, grace, mercy, and his righteousness.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Don't stand in opposition to his holy character. There's no
- 12:00Speaker 1: need to do that. As believers, we're going to stay
- 12:04Speaker 1: on the holy side. Amen? We're going to stand there.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Sister Miriam said, man can fail us, but God never will. Yes,
- 12:14Speaker 1: he never will. I have to remind myself of this, man,
- 12:17Speaker 1: and I have to stay self-controlled, right? Yes, I do
- 12:21Speaker 1: get angry. Yes, I do mess up with my words. Yes,
- 12:25Speaker 1: it's just a lot going on, right? When there's a
- 12:27Speaker 1: lot going on in your life and in my life, amen,
- 12:31Speaker 1: we still have to hold on. I choose to hold
- 12:33Speaker 1: on to God, right? I choose to follow Jesus. He
- 12:38Speaker 1: never forces me, and he won't force you either. Amen.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Thank you, Sister Miriam, for your comment there. God's wrath
- 12:48Speaker 1: reveals something. What does it reveal? It reveals his holiness.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Think about it. If there's a wrath of God, what
- 12:57Speaker 1: is he doing? He's revealing from heaven his wrath over
- 13:04Speaker 1: all wickedness, unrighteousness, especially those people who are suppressing the
- 13:11Speaker 1: truth for their own gain. If you notice, The mega system,
- 13:19Speaker 1: the mega church system, if you notice the leadership of
- 13:22Speaker 1: those mega, not all, but most that I've seen, the
- 13:27Speaker 1: popular ones, the mainstream ones, those systems are not based
- 13:31Speaker 1: on promoting people to follow Jesus. Those systems are based
- 13:37Speaker 1: on self-promotion and people to follow the prophet, the evangelist,
- 13:43Speaker 1: the apostle, the pastor, teacher, right? And to me, I
- 13:47Speaker 1: think that's men who suppress the truth by their wickedness. Wickedness, selfishness,
- 13:54Speaker 1: selfish gain, right? So be mindful of that and be
- 13:57Speaker 1: careful of that. God's wrath reveals His holiness. And His
- 14:02Speaker 1: holiness reminds me and reminds you and reminds all of
- 14:07Speaker 1: us of our need for a Savior. Our need for
- 14:12Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus Christ. Our need for the Messiah, the
- 14:15Speaker 1: Mashiach Magid. Our need for the Holy One of God,
- 14:18Speaker 1: the begotten Son of God. Our need for His forgiveness,
- 14:23Speaker 1: for His grace, and for His mercy. The wrath of
- 14:26Speaker 1: God reminds me of that. I need you, God, like yesterday.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Thank you for saving me, rescuing me, changing me, transforming me,
- 14:35Speaker 1: redeeming me, renewing my mind, right? And He does the
- 14:39Speaker 1: same for every single one of His children today. He
- 14:42Speaker 1: has no favorites, amen, even though I thought I was
- 14:44Speaker 1: his favorite, but you know what I mean. He has
- 14:46Speaker 1: no favorites. When it rains, it rains on the just
- 14:50Speaker 1: and unjust, but there's a difference between those who are
- 14:55Speaker 1: marked and sealed by the Holy Spirit and those who
- 14:57Speaker 1: are not. You will know them by what? Their fruit.
- 15:02Speaker 1: People could do a lot of this. Oh, I'm this,
- 15:05Speaker 1: and I'm that, and I'm apostle this, and I'm prophet this,
- 15:07Speaker 1: and I'm evangelist this. Yeah, I'm a pastor this, and
- 15:10Speaker 1: I'm that. They do a lot of this. But when
- 15:12Speaker 1: you look at their fruit, you're like, yeah, it's not
- 15:15Speaker 1: lining up. Your words are not lining up with your life.
- 15:19Speaker 1: And God speaks a lot about that in his scriptures. Amen.
- 15:22Speaker 1: So I'm mindful of that. And I'm always looking in
- 15:25Speaker 1: the mirror and saying, make sure I'm talking to myself. Sam,
- 15:28Speaker 1: make sure you represent him well. Don't get crazy and
- 15:32Speaker 1: don't act crazy just because you're in your emotions, your feelings,
- 15:36Speaker 1: things are not going right in this area, in that area.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Make sure you hold tight. So what God has done
- 15:41Speaker 1: in your life, give him glory, honor, worship, and praise. Amen.
- 15:44Speaker 1: That's how I speak to myself. What about you? The
- 15:47Speaker 1: good news, right, is that God doesn't desire, right, from
- 15:55Speaker 1: what I know about God, what I studied about God,
- 15:58Speaker 1: and how I know him through relationship. He doesn't desire
- 16:00Speaker 1: for humanity to remain separated from him. For God so
- 16:07Speaker 1: loved the world, the Father so loved the world, that
- 16:10Speaker 1: he sent his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in
- 16:14Speaker 1: him shall not die, shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
- 16:20Speaker 1: John 3.16. So that's proof and evidence to me that
- 16:26Speaker 1: he never wanted us to remain separated from him. Since Genesis,
- 16:30Speaker 1: he didn't want Adam to make that decision. But because
- 16:34Speaker 1: he's a God of love, he allowed Adam to make
- 16:38Speaker 1: a choice. Right? There's a lot there. His holiness reminds
- 16:45Speaker 1: us that we need him. His holiness reminds us that
- 16:49Speaker 1: we need Jesus. Right? And Holy Spirit reminds us of
- 16:52Speaker 1: all of this. Right? Not in a forceful way. That's
- 16:56Speaker 1: why God is amazing to me, at least in the
- 17:00Speaker 1: perspective that all these idols that people worship and all
- 17:05Speaker 1: these false gods, those things, those false gods, those idols,
- 17:09Speaker 1: there's rules and regulations and you have to do this.
- 17:12Speaker 1: You have to pray a certain way. You have to
- 17:13Speaker 1: pray a certain time. You have to blow a certain
- 17:16Speaker 1: amount of smoke over the statues and all that. All
- 17:19Speaker 1: that idolatry and all that stuff is forced, right? The
- 17:23Speaker 1: younger generation will say it's cap. But my God, my Lord,
- 17:27Speaker 1: my Savior doesn't force anything upon us. But when you
- 17:30Speaker 1: taste the goodness of God, when you taste and see, amen,
- 17:36Speaker 1: you're going to realize that this is all different. This
- 17:39Speaker 1: is the true, holy, loving, righteous God, right? The good
- 17:43Speaker 1: news is that God does not desire, does not desire
- 17:46Speaker 1: for humanity to remain separated from him. Through Jesus Christ,
- 17:54Speaker 1: he has provided the way for forgiveness, right? the way
- 18:00Speaker 1: for reconciliation, making things right with the Father, and the
- 18:05Speaker 1: way to experience new life. The reason why when we're
- 18:09Speaker 1: struggling in areas and then sin presents itself, the reason
- 18:12Speaker 1: why our born-again believer doesn't really, we fight against that,
- 18:17Speaker 1: against sin, because we're living in a new life. But
- 18:21Speaker 1: when the old man steps up, the new man looks
- 18:23Speaker 1: at the old man like, what the heck are you
- 18:25Speaker 1: trying to do here? You're not taking over anymore. Sin
- 18:30Speaker 1: has no power over us anymore. Because you realize before
- 18:34Speaker 1: Jesus saved us, we were slaves to sin. That's right.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I was a slave to sin before Jesus released me
- 18:42Speaker 1: from the slavery and bondage of sin. You were a
- 18:47Speaker 1: slave to sin until Jesus released you and saved you
- 18:53Speaker 1: from the wrath of that sin, from his wrath, and
- 18:56Speaker 1: also he released you and now you have freedom to
- 19:00Speaker 1: look at sin in the face and say, I don't
- 19:02Speaker 1: have to do what you want me to do. And
- 19:04Speaker 1: the flesh hates that. That's why the flesh is always
- 19:07Speaker 1: at war with the spirit. This is spiritual warfare 101, right?
- 19:12Speaker 1: Good morning, Sister Joanne. I see you. Good morning. God
- 19:14Speaker 1: bless you, my sister, my friends. Good to see you
- 19:17Speaker 1: on the Morning Devo. So here it is. How should
- 19:22Speaker 1: we respond to Romans 118? Well, for me personally, I
- 19:27Speaker 1: look at it and say, all right, the wrath of God,
- 19:28Speaker 1: to me that It's still, I look at it and say, whoa,
- 19:32Speaker 1: that's something really to take seriously, the wrath of God. Well,
- 19:39Speaker 1: because I'm born again, I thank God daily for his
- 19:43Speaker 1: mercy and grace and that we are not going to
- 19:46Speaker 1: experience the wrath of God. If you're in Christ, there
- 19:50Speaker 1: is no wrath coming to us. Amen? That's the good
- 19:54Speaker 1: news right there. John Crosby, God bless you, my brother.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Yahweh is the way. God's grace and mercy is a
- 20:01Speaker 1: gift to us, all of us. Yes. Thank you, brother,
- 20:05Speaker 1: for your comment and encouragement. It's good to see you. So,
- 20:10Speaker 1: How should I respond? How should we respond to this truth?
- 20:13Speaker 1: Because this is true. This is the gospel truth, Romans 1, 18.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Respect God's holiness. Respect it. You know what I mean?
- 20:22Speaker 1: So whether or not you're bowing your knee to him
- 20:25Speaker 1: now and rejecting the gospel and you're waving your fist
- 20:29Speaker 1: at heaven, later on, every knee will bow and every
- 20:32Speaker 1: tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. So I'm going
- 20:35Speaker 1: to respect his holiness now while I still have now.
- 20:39Speaker 1: while I still have today, while it's still day, amen,
- 20:42Speaker 1: while we can still worship him here on this side
- 20:45Speaker 1: of eternity, I'm going to respect God's holiness. Don't treat
- 20:48Speaker 1: sin as something insignificant because sin was the debt that
- 20:54Speaker 1: was paid by the Lord Jesus. He was the only
- 20:57Speaker 1: one who could pay the sin debt, right? He was
- 21:00Speaker 1: the perfect lamb of God to pay the sin debt.
- 21:02Speaker 1: So don't think it's just like, ah, it's just sin.
- 21:05Speaker 1: I'll just repent when I go to church. Ah, it's
- 21:07Speaker 1: just sin. I'll just stop anytime I'm ready. Don't take
- 21:11Speaker 1: sin like it's nothing. Don't take sin like that. Be
- 21:18Speaker 1: careful with that, actually, that way of thinking. Don't treat
- 21:22Speaker 1: sin as something insignificant. Ask God to help you recognize
- 21:28Speaker 1: and turn away from it, right? God will give you
- 21:32Speaker 1: that energy, if you want to call it that type
- 21:35Speaker 1: of energy, to get out of it, right? Because we're free.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Walking around free, not in bondage anymore. We're not slaves
- 21:44Speaker 1: and in bondage to sin. How about this? This idea
- 21:47Speaker 1: is walk in truth. It's amazing how walking in truth
- 21:52Speaker 1: is so offensive to people. What do you mean you
- 21:58Speaker 1: have the truth? That's your truth. That works for you.
- 22:01Speaker 1: It doesn't work for me. People are so offended when
- 22:04Speaker 1: you walk in the gospel truth. But go ahead and
- 22:07Speaker 1: walk anyway. Amen. On the righteous path, on the narrow path,
- 22:13Speaker 1: go ahead and walk in righteousness and truth. Go ahead
- 22:15Speaker 1: and do it. Don't back up now. Don't back off now.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Don't give up now. You came this far. Amen. And
- 22:22Speaker 1: you know that God is true and God is real.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Keep on going. Walk in truth. Don't compromise. Don't compromise God,
- 22:34Speaker 1: his word. Right. Just to satisfy the desires of your
- 22:43Speaker 1: sinful self or the desires of this world or the
- 22:47Speaker 1: approval of this world. I don't need this world's approval, man.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I've been there, done that. I was in the world, right?
- 22:55Speaker 1: But now I'm in the world, but I'm not of
- 22:56Speaker 1: the world no more. And a lot of people don't
- 22:58Speaker 1: like that. They take that as arrogance. I take that
- 23:01Speaker 1: as the grace and mercy of God over your life
- 23:03Speaker 1: and over my life. Receive God's grace. I probably thank you, Jesus,
- 23:10Speaker 1: for your eternal life, because it's going to probably take
- 23:12Speaker 1: me eternity to understand the grace of God. His grace
- 23:17Speaker 1: is amazing, right? Through Jesus Christ, we receive forgiveness. We
- 23:25Speaker 1: receive restoration and reconciliation to make the relationship with the
- 23:31Speaker 1: Father back right again. To me, that's the amazing grace
- 23:36Speaker 1: of God. And of course, share the gospel. And when
- 23:40Speaker 1: you share the gospel, share this truth, this gospel, with love.
- 23:44Speaker 1: In love. Because we love God, so therefore He allows
- 23:48Speaker 1: us and teaches us how to love ourselves and love others.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Love God first. Love yourself like your neighbor. Love others. Right?
- 23:58Speaker 1: Instead of condemning others to, hell, you're going to hell,
- 24:00Speaker 1: you're doing this, be careful with that. Instead of pointing
- 24:04Speaker 1: fingers and pointing them to hell, when you point Amen.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Make sure you point them to the one who rose again.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Point them toward the truth. Point them towards the mercy
- 24:17Speaker 1: and towards the salvation found in the Lord Jesus. Please
- 24:24Speaker 1: do that because a lot of people are literally perishing
- 24:27Speaker 1: right in front of our face without the truth. So
- 24:32Speaker 1: to give them a chance and if you're in their
- 24:36Speaker 1: Spear of influence to give them a chance to know Jesus.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Say something that will alert them to the fact that they're,
- 24:45Speaker 1: and you got to do this in a loving way.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Holy Spirit will open your mouth to say what needs
- 24:50Speaker 1: to be said. But you and I know they're under
- 24:52Speaker 1: the wrath of God, right? Because they're in wickedness and sin, godliness, right?
- 24:59Speaker 1: They're suppressing the truth. But Holy Spirit will give us
- 25:02Speaker 1: the words to say to try to snap them out
- 25:05Speaker 1: of that. And point them towards the one who could
- 25:08Speaker 1: save them. So remember, God's judgment is real. We know that.
- 25:12Speaker 1: But so is his mercy. Get that? So is his mercy.
- 25:18Speaker 1: The same God who warns us about sin offers us,
- 25:23Speaker 1: the same God offers us salvation through his son. There's
- 25:26Speaker 1: a lot more here. I knew this was going to happen.
- 25:28Speaker 1: I'll probably have to make a part two of this.
- 25:31Speaker 1: But I'm going to keep it moving and be obedient
- 25:33Speaker 1: to what God told me to do during this season.
- 25:35Speaker 1: of the Morning Devo. But I'm out of here. I'm
- 25:37Speaker 1: out of time. Thank you so much for having me
- 25:40Speaker 1: and for the listening ears on the radio station and
- 25:44Speaker 1: for the live streamers here on the social media and
- 25:47Speaker 1: on my YouTube and all that stuff. So I want
- 25:49Speaker 1: to send you all for the blessing because we need
- 25:51Speaker 1: the blessing of the Lord. Amen. So God bless you all.
- 25:55Speaker 1: God keep you all. And remember always that God is good. Peace.
