  today's episode is called Small Steps, Steady Faith, how God builds us over.

  Well, here's how it works. Have you ever felt frustrated with yourself because

  your faith, your journey doesn't look dramatic enough?

  No big breakthrough, no overnight transformation, no viral testimony,
• 1:33
  just showed up again and again.

  If that's you, I want you to know something right now.
• 1:39
  God doesn't do what you think he's going to do. You see, God does some of his deepest work quietly.

  Today, we're talking about small steps, steady faith, and why God often chooses
• 1:51
  progress that doesn't make noise, but makes us strong.

  There's a verse in the Bible that says, Do not despise these small beginnings,
• 2:02
  for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.

  That verse isn't just encouragement. It's correction because sometimes we don't
• 2:12
  feel, well, we just don't feel discouraged, right?
• 2:16
  We feel disappointed. We feel disappointed in ourselves, not for being further
• 2:22
  along, but God never despises beginnings.

  God rejoices in them.
• 2:29
  You see, Jesus echoes in this way. if you go back to Luke chapter 16,

  verse 10, whoever is faithful in very little is also faithful in much.

  Faithfulness doesn't start with big problems or big platforms.

  It starts with small obedience.
• 2:47
  Here's something I just want to share with you momentarily. I want to gently

  challenge each and every one of you today.
• 2:54
  We live in a culture that celebrates intensity, big changes,
• 2:59
  big announcements, big moments, but scripture celebrates faithfulness.

  Think about how God shapes people in the Bible. Moses spent 40 years in the
• 3:09
  wilderness before leading anyone.
• 3:11
  David was anointed king, then went back to tending sheep.
• 3:17
  Jesus spent 30 years in obscurity before three years of ministry, and God is not rushed.
• 3:24
  He's not disappointed that you're still becoming, sometimes we think,
• 3:28
  if I'm not fixing everything at once, I must be failing. But growth doesn't work that way.

  Faith is not built in leaps. It's built in layers, prayer by layers,
• 3:41
  prayer by prayer, choice by choice, day by day.
• 3:45
  And here's the free, the free falling version of the truth.

  That's how I like to put it. You know, here's the way we free it up.

  You don't need a breakthrough today.
• 3:57
  You need faithfulness today.

  So right now, so many people of faith are exhausted, right?
• 4:05
  Spiritually tired, emotionally worn down, trying to do enough for God while
• 4:10
  barely having enough energy for themselves.
• 4:13
  And that's why this message matters. You know, see, God is not asking you to
• 4:18
  fix your whole life this week.
• 4:20
  He's asking you to walk with him today.
• 4:23
  A small prayer when your heart feels heavy, a pause before reacting,
• 4:28
  a decision to try again instead of giving up.
• 4:33
  These are not small to God. In fact, scripture will tell you that God rejoices when we don't quit.

  So here's a simple faith practice for this week. Don't ask.
• 4:45
  Don't ask, what do I need to change about my life?
• 4:49
  Ask, what is the next faithful step God is inviting me to take. Just one.

  Maybe it's returning to prayer without guilt, reaching out to someone you've
• 5:00
  pulled away from, opening scripture again without pressure, choosing rest instead of burnout.

  Faithfulness doesn't need to be impressive. It needs to be honest.

  And over time, small steps stack up.
• 5:16
  And stacked faith builds confidence.

  Think about that today. Let's pray. God, thank you for meeting us right here where we are.

  Thank you for what you do.
• 5:29
  Thank you that you don't despise small beginnings. You rejoice them.

  Help us to be faithful in the little things. When we feel behind,
• 5:38
  remind us that you are still working, giving us grace to take the next right
• 5:45
  step, not the perfect one, of course.
• 5:48
  And may you remember this today.

  I want everybody to think about that because you matter, your faith matters,

  and God is not finished with you.
