- 0:02Hello, everyone. Welcome back to Eye Opener Society and welcome back to one
- 0:05of our behind the scenes things where Lizzie and I are just sitting here and chatting.
- 0:10And we bring you this because there's a lot that goes on behind the scenes when
- 0:15we're trying to bring you, whether it's our podcast, whether we're trying to
- 0:17bring you our ministry, there's so much.
- 0:21And the fun thing is Lizzie actually contacted me and today is a Sunday on a
- 0:27recording. We normally don't record on Sundays.
- 0:30And I thought she had a topic. She thought she had a topic. It turned out she didn't.
- 0:35So we just started chatting with what's going on behind the scenes.
- 0:37But right now, Lizzie, you were discussing this discord that you're trying to get together.
- 0:44Do you want to tell everybody? You want to talk to me a little bit more about
- 0:47it? Because I think this is going to be something pretty big for us.
- 0:52Yeah, so I've been building this for a while, but the thing is,
- 0:58sometimes, cosmically, you're building things you don't quite see.
- 1:04The thing is, everywhere that I look is a bunch of very beautiful,
- 1:09amazing souls who just kind of are forced to isolate,
- 1:14because the people around them don't understand the spiritual journey they're going through.
- 1:21And the thing is, is when I consume content that like references like Gnostic texts or any,
- 1:29of the like ancient traditions, it's all focused on isolating to correct yourself,
- 1:37you know, getting back to center,
- 1:39staying with people and situations that allow you to stay centered.
- 1:45But the thing is is that's great and if your life is going to be in that tiny little zone,
- 1:52but the truth is is most of us are people people you know what i mean we want
- 1:57to be around the people we want to be interacting
- 2:00it doesn't there's something fulfilling about connecting with other humans maybe
- 2:05it's like part of what we're doing i don't know you can get into like all kinds of theories with that.
- 2:11But the problem is is I think we're all stuck in a spot where we understand
- 2:15a lot of things in theory we understand a lot of things in isolation but we're
- 2:20now in a phase where as we're coming together,
- 2:25we reach all this tension and nobody seems to really know what to do with it,
- 2:30everybody's got their own perspective of truth But truth is inarticulatable.
- 2:35And so it's like all the communities that I've seen, and I'm sure there's other
- 2:40people who have done this, but
- 2:41all the communities that I see are focused around people learning truth.
- 2:47Which is the goal, but it's more like learning your own truth.
- 2:53So like when we were arguing, who was right? Neither of us.
- 3:00Neither of us were. That's why we never came to a conclusion. You know what I mean?
- 3:04It doesn't matter. It's all meaningless, whatever it is that we do from here.
- 3:08But by looking at your perspective and me looking at my perspective and we go
- 3:13back and forth, we have the opportunity to expand.
- 3:17Whereas if we were operating our businesses like the church like two separate churches
- 3:22we would never have that opportunity to expand together it would just be whatever
- 3:28you think is best and what you see out in the world but the problem is is what you see
- 3:34is only what you already know you do you know what i mean.
- 3:40Like for example tension with other people it explodes it always explodes
- 3:47or or I cut it short those those are the two truths but but you and I managed
- 3:53to do like the tension where we did neither,
- 3:56and we just like did did the tension and neither got real upset or anything and,
- 4:02see the thing is is I I know how to do this myself when I'm arguing with myself
- 4:08I know how to do this with strangers it's hard when you're building things with
- 4:12people that you care about. It alters things.
- 4:16But you and I also are friends. We're.
- 4:22Church business thing kind of separately kind of together which gives a unique
- 4:27perspective for me in not having to learn this tension with somebody that depending
- 4:35on how it goes changes everything,
- 4:38no matter how our argument went it changed nothing do you know what i mean and
- 4:43and so it it did something for me and giving me the opportunity to now feel that.
- 4:51And so then when I got into the world and I experienced tension with other people
- 4:56whom maybe I struggle more because,
- 4:59there's like all these meanings attached to it, I now have an awareness of a
- 5:03different frequency in my body than I would have before.
- 5:07And so that's where everybody I think is trapped is in this loop of where you
- 5:12know just enough that you've got it, but you can't do it with other people fully,
- 5:20because it's different in application.
- 5:23It's different in what we're expanding.
- 5:29And to kind of fill everybody in, just in case they did not hear the sermon,
- 5:34our last Thursday night sermon went off pretty well.
- 5:38And normally what we were planning on doing was just like we're doing now is
- 5:42giving this little behind the scenes.
- 5:44My only problem with Thursday was when I hit stop recording,
- 5:49it did not stop recording, which
- 5:51was fine because we were going to do the behind the scenes anyway. it.
- 5:56And I just want to reconfirm that this was not really an argument.
- 6:02There was a little bit of friction because we both had a difference of opinions
- 6:07on something. But here's the beautiful thing.
- 6:11When I played it back afterwards, I said, all right, I'm just going to leave
- 6:14it all because I don't get it. Some people just don't read synopsises,
- 6:18I guess, because it literally said in the synopsis, we have a Thursday sermon
- 6:21and then we have the behind the scenes afterwards.
- 6:24I said it was a very candid discussion and that's what I like because yes I
- 6:30for the first time now I don't know if you noticed.
- 6:34Uh as of today this was our one year friendiversary on TikTok which yeah,
- 6:40okay and I was excited to see that because I said wow it's been one year since
- 6:45I've actually known you and look at everything we've done together.
- 6:51Look at where we wound up in just one year. It's not a lot of time.
- 6:56We also became extremely close friends.
- 7:01And this was the first time I was, or I had to engage with you,
- 7:06where you were very adamant about something.
- 7:09And you were on a different frequency that I was not prepared for.
- 7:13And that was fantastic. And I love the fact that we were able to record that.
- 7:18I'm glad that that recording actually went through. It's just all in one episode.
- 7:21So check out our Thursday Night Sermon, the long one.
- 7:25I think it's a 45-minute one because right after the sermon,
- 7:30which was only like 20 minutes, the rest was just Lizzie and I getting into
- 7:34all this because it all started with a discussion of where are we going to take
- 7:38our lives to get more of an audience.
- 7:40So now when Lizzie's talking to me about Discord, Discord is something I was
- 7:46kind of opposed to at first because I said, well, we're going to have to get
- 7:49everybody from our, you know, platform over to Discord.
- 7:54But I said, you know what? Just like TikTok, well, we're going to get a new
- 7:59audience on top of whom we already have.
- 8:02So, and the fact that Lizzie said she was going to do all of the hard work for
- 8:07this, which is awesome too, because I don't really know where to start,
- 8:10but Lizzie actually has a plan and she has the whole setup in her head.
- 8:18And that's going to be a beautiful thing and I'm going to be very excited to
- 8:22be on board with it because we started that already and it just went on a different
- 8:27path and so now we're just going to clean things up and we're going to have a discord channel,
- 8:32just for this kind of thing like Lizzie said we can all argue
- 8:36but that arguing is going to bring us into a new realization of ourself the
- 8:41other people the community the society it keeps getting bigger and bigger because we are We're all on
- 8:47different frequencies, but we are all one of the same. Lizzie's words.
- 8:53Because exactly, we were arguing, but we were allowing the disagreement to happen.
- 9:00We were allowing the other person to authentically say whatever we want.
- 9:04And then we allowed ourselves to say, I think that's wrong. And I think I'm
- 9:09right. And then we got to just exist in that. And then we both learned so much.
- 9:14And I think that that's like the perfect kind of starter point to the community
- 9:19is because that that's the thing is everything that I see teaches you to let go of resistance.
- 9:26You know what I mean? Allow everything to flow. And that is so important to
- 9:32learn how to do. Absolutely.
- 9:34But it's so important. You got to learn how to flow through the attention because
- 9:37that's that's where things like really built. You know what I mean?
- 9:41And it's it's all in your definition.
- 9:44And your ability to find people who are playing the same game as you.
- 9:49And that's what I've been doing. I've been redefining things,
- 9:52but I've been redefining it alone, which means my reality and my personal world
- 9:57don't operate the same because my nervous system has learned
- 10:01how to believe one thing inside my body and expect another from outside.
- 10:07So they operate on two different frequencies. And the only way to combine that
- 10:11is to find people playing the same game as you.
- 10:16And this is why I'm really looking forward to the future with this Discord.
- 10:22And it's going to be in conjunction with everything else that we have.
- 10:25So just in case there are people listening now say, oh, I'm not going to go
- 10:28on to another platform. That's fine. You don't have to.
- 10:31We can get new audience. But you're more than welcome to join us on there because it's going to build.
- 10:38And since I did look into Discord before, Discord is great for that kind of
- 10:43community. is all separate threads you could have and all one person could help
- 10:47a whole group out while another group can help one person out.
- 10:51It can be set up in so many different ways. And I'm looking forward to this.
- 10:55And going back to our argument, what people also don't know is that it continued
- 11:04the next day, but not in any kind of argument.
- 11:07It was like, we understood so much about each other that we were explaining ourselves,
- 11:15and not not in a way where saying well yeah you were right you know but we were
- 11:20explaining ourselves saying well this is just the way things were this is how,
- 11:25we came together different separate ideas,
- 11:29and probably neither one of them worked out because our frequencies were just
- 11:33off you know on the whole idea of the thing so.
- 11:37It gave us that chance to sit and actually learn even more about each other,
- 11:44so that for when this happens again, we're already going to expect it.
- 11:48We're already going to expect it.
- 11:50But Lizzie, don't ever let it happen again because I'm tired of dealing with you.
- 11:53No, my bad. But I'm an intense person, so.
- 11:58Yes. And, you know, and that's the very first thing that Lizzie explained,
- 12:01that she's a very intense person.
- 12:02But what she doesn't realize is like, if I was really to argue,
- 12:06she would want to see intense.
- 12:08But we didn't have to get to that point. We're too close of friends to get to
- 12:12that point. But we can sit and have these extreme differences in opinion and
- 12:18to where, hey, maybe I'm right.
- 12:20Or maybe she's wrong. Or maybe she's right. And maybe I'm...
- 12:23We just didn't know. But we came to this wonderful conclusion that,
- 12:27you know, we're going to sidetrack everything. because unless...
- 12:33Something miraculous came out of this where everything works out you know we
- 12:37didn't find that avenue and that's good because you know what the more you think
- 12:40about it chances are it probably would not work because we were on such a different frequency with it so,
- 12:48that's what this discord i believe is going to bring together and it's not but
- 12:51listen i don't want a place where everybody gets together and argue but we do not.
- 12:56Right i don't want that i I want it to be a place where we come together and
- 13:01just share these ideas because some people have ideas that are working so well in their head.
- 13:07But when it's presented to an audience of any kind, there will be friction because
- 13:13some people are going to sit there and say, well, I don't believe anything.
- 13:16And I go through that every day with some of my thoughts, the way I think in reality.
- 13:20Well, like when I'm off the show, I have differences of opinions and I can bring
- 13:25it forward and people are going to not like it or like it, but it doesn't matter.
- 13:30There's still my thoughts, my theories, and nothing can change that and shame
- 13:34on you if you're trying to.
- 13:36But it's good that we all talk about it and bring something new to the table
- 13:41and bring a new way of thinking to the table. And I think that's exactly what
- 13:44this discord is going to do.
- 13:47Yeah not a place to argue a place to explore,
- 13:51what you're disagreeing with because you know like in our cool argument you
- 13:57know i was very like anti you know doing our sermon on tiktok because the energy
- 14:01and you're like well lizzie where it's already basically the same thing on youtube and i was like oh.
- 14:06Well why do i still have a problem with tiktok i still don't entirely know what
- 14:10it is i think it's to survive but it's something i'm now exploring because
- 14:15if i'm experiencing resistance on it obviously there's something in there that
- 14:20i'm going to benefit from whether i do tiktok or i just like open the idea of
- 14:25it i'm blocking something off for myself that's why there's resistance
- 14:29and so i personally like to explore
- 14:31these things it's like a tool like everything else that you're doing.
- 14:36Right. And I like that too, because I'm the same way. And like,
- 14:41you know, afterwards we came to, I said, well, I don't like the TikTok either.
- 14:45That's always been my...
- 14:47Even back when we met Hannah Rose, I met her because of the negative energy
- 14:53that I was coming across on her very positive reels and all.
- 14:58So I do feel exactly the same way with that. So, you know, we shelve it for
- 15:03now. We have our own, you know, platform. So I don't care, really.
- 15:08But it's just nice to connect with more and more people. And that's going to
- 15:13be the purpose of that Discord. And I'm looking forward to that.
- 15:18New learning curve for me. Because like I said, I never really dove deep into
- 15:22it. But I think it'll be perfect. It's there.
- 15:26It is. It's another tool. And I'm looking forward to that.
- 15:29I'm looking forward to a lot of things.
- 15:32I know Lizzie and I were talking about the season that's coming up.
- 15:36And the people that we're trying to get on our show.
- 15:39I don't want to make any announcements because I haven't confirmed anything
- 15:42yet. But we are working on something right now that's very, very big.
- 15:47In this whole spiritual and metaphysical community.
- 15:50The 21st century witch hunts that are still going on and there is a case in
- 15:55court that's going to be, I think it's in July.
- 15:59I actually might go to that court case and sit in on it myself.
- 16:02I think for support. Like I said, I don't want to give away too much of it until
- 16:06I get some confirmation.
- 16:07And I do apologize for all this autofocus on the camera. But.
- 16:13I think Lizzie and I, we're going to be shooting for the stars.
- 16:16We're going to be bringing you a lot more Especially a lot more It is behind
- 16:19the scenes stuff Because,
- 16:22it's good to see how we all interact And listen, I'm also trying very hard too
- 16:26To get Halos back on some of these conversations As well as Elaine,
- 16:33But everybody in this ministry They're on their own time And I'm not forcing
- 16:38anything As much as we love them We got to give them that space And allow them
- 16:42to come in naturally So I want to look for all of that.
- 16:47What else are you looking forward to there, my friend?
- 16:51Unfolding my quantum origami.
- 16:56I knew that's probably going to be the hardest thing it's going to be.
- 17:04And I'm going right back to this thing that we've met a year ago, only a year ago.
- 17:09Holy shit. I thought we already hit that for some reason.
- 17:14Same here. Who knows? But we really did.
- 17:19We started something from you just became another co-host on my show and then,
- 17:24here we are we're a we're a ministry we have,
- 17:28built something and then never mind the show it's just you and,
- 17:33i everything when i first met you again same joke over and over again i had
- 17:36to make an appointment to text you now now here we are we can't shut up and
- 17:41we now we're getting into arguments you know it's expanded beautifully.
- 17:46And I'm so, so happy for it.
- 17:48I'm so happy for your friendship and congratulations on the one year of dealing
- 17:51with each other, I guess.
- 17:54Well, it's been lovely. It's been lovely. Yeah.
- 17:57Yeah, it certainly has been. And, you know, I can't think TikTok enough.
- 18:01I've met some incredible people and Lizzie's absolutely the most amazing one.
- 18:06And, you know, who knows, who knows what's going to happen down the line,
- 18:09how many other beautiful people we're going to find, whether they're on TikTok,
- 18:12whether they're on our platform, whether it's going to be through Discord, we never know.
- 18:18But we're always on this search for people that are on the right frequency with
- 18:23us. And I hope that we can find more of you.
- 18:27I know you're all out there and my future, the way it looks,
- 18:33I know I already have a whole handful of people too Extremely supportive And
- 18:37we're going to hear from them So I want to get all that set up Little by little
- 18:42Just don't want to overwhelm myself Or my buddy Lizzie.
- 18:47So with that, but did you have anything else you want to bring to the table
- 18:51today? Or I think this was pretty cool.
- 18:55I think that was beautiful. I just look forward to doing this again on Tuesday.
- 18:59Yeah, we'll have a topic on Tuesday and we'll have a regular show.
- 19:02But I'm looking forward to bringing you more of these behind-the-scenes conversations.
- 19:05No matter what frequency they're on, they're really insightful because it gives
- 19:09people an idea of just what goes on inside of people's heads.
- 19:12And I think it's a reflection of the entire world sometimes.
- 19:15So I want to thank everybody for joining us. Thank you for tuning in.
- 19:18Thank you for the downloads.
- 19:20Don't forget to visit AppalachianRootworks.com. Carly and Carla,
- 19:24we're looking forward to actually having both of them on our show for the first
- 19:28time in an official capacity where they can actually meet Lizzie.
- 19:31So we look forward to that. And everybody, take care, go in peace, and we love you all.
