- 0:06SPEAKER_00: What is going on, ballers?
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: It's your boy MJ coming at you with another episode of the Fantasy Fumble.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: This is week six of the NFL season 2026.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: Me and your co-host here, Joe the Birdman.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: Joe, how the hell are you doing today, brother?
- 0:23SPEAKER_02: I'm doing pretty well.
- 0:24SPEAKER_02: I had a great week.
- 0:25SPEAKER_02: I went five and one in my leagues.
- 0:27SPEAKER_02: And the one game I lost, I lost by one point.
- 0:31SPEAKER_02: And I was four and oh, and the guy that beat me was 0-4.
- 0:36SPEAKER_02: And it came down to the wire.
- 0:38SPEAKER_02: He had uh he had Cook, James Cook, in that Monday night game.
- 0:42SPEAKER_02: So it came down to the wire, lost by one point, but five and one, I'm pretty happy.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm uh I'm I'm five and uh four and one.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: You're four and one.
- 0:52SPEAKER_02: No, I mean like on the week out of my six leagues, going uh five wins out of six.
- 0:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and I really I thought I had that last one, man, especially after that fumble, but he squeaked it out.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, man.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: My my primary team in the big boy leagues, the champions league, is just shit to bed, brother.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: I couldn't even score a hundred.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: So it was that kind of week for me.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: You were either on one side killing there, the other side getting smoked.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Uh, but one thing I can tell you that we have a whole lot of great information for you guys here today.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: Before we get too too deep into the weeds, let's go ahead and get on to the news and notes.
- 1:34SPEAKER_02: All right, we got quite a few things to discuss, so I'm just gonna run through them.
- 1:39SPEAKER_02: At running back, Trevion Henderson dealing with a high ankle sprain.
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: Quinshawn Judkins, day-to-day with an ankle injury as well.
- 1:48SPEAKER_02: David Montgomery is considered week to week with a groin injury.
- 1:51SPEAKER_02: Will Shipley could miss several weeks.
- 1:54SPEAKER_02: Uh Saquon Barkley does have a chance to play in week six.
- 1:58SPEAKER_02: Rico Dowdle should be ready to go in week six.
- 2:01SPEAKER_02: Uh, Jeremia Love is dealing with an ankle injury, and Brees Hall still dealing with that quad injury.
- 2:07SPEAKER_02: And then last but not least, Zach Charbonnet.
- 2:10SPEAKER_02: He is practicing this week, but he's not gonna play.
- 2:13SPEAKER_02: Then at wide receiver, Debo Samuel will miss some time due to a hamstring injury.
- 2:18SPEAKER_02: Roman Wilson, unfortunately, he was a nice grab off the waiver wire.
- 2:22SPEAKER_02: Uh is expected to miss some time due to a finger injury.
- 2:25SPEAKER_02: Casey's Oh, my pinky hurts.
- 2:27SPEAKER_02: I know we dude, we've had so many like thumb and finger injuries this year.
- 2:31SPEAKER_02: And I mean I get thumb, but finger though, I do, but it just, I mean, I don't know.
- 2:37SPEAKER_02: I mean, I guess if you're catching the ball, it makes sense, right?
- 2:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, AD Mitchell's another one.
- 2:40SPEAKER_02: But um, Casey Conception got a concussion in week five.
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: Devonta Smith may be available for week six.
- 2:47SPEAKER_02: Jalen Coker is on track to play in week six.
- 2:49SPEAKER_02: DJ Morse still dealing with that shoulder injury, but he should play as well.
- 2:53SPEAKER_02: And Irashi Rice still dealing with that hamstring injury.
- 2:56SPEAKER_02: And as we were talking about with fingers, Adana Mitchell, A.D.
- 3:00SPEAKER_02: Mitchell still dealing with that finger injury.
- 3:02SPEAKER_02: Um, some good news, AJ Brown is practicing.
- 3:06SPEAKER_02: They haven't opened his window yet, but he's on the field.
- 3:09SPEAKER_02: And then Cardinals wide receiver, Marvin Harrison, as you know, is traded to the Falcons, but he will not play this week.
- 3:16SPEAKER_02: And then Tyreek Hill, according to his agent, is close to 100%.
- 3:20SPEAKER_02: Now quarterback, just a few.
- 3:22SPEAKER_02: Caleb Williams is expected to return against the Falcons.
- 3:25SPEAKER_02: Michael Penix Jr.
- 3:26SPEAKER_02: has a plant to chase uh has a uh chance to play, but is dealing with a rib injury.
- 3:31SPEAKER_02: Lamar Jackson is trending in the right direction, should be ready to go.
- 3:35SPEAKER_02: And then Baker's still dealing with that thumb injury, another thumb.
- 3:39SPEAKER_02: And then at tight end, just TJ Hawkinson and Kenyon Sadiq.
- 3:42SPEAKER_02: They both suffered a concussion in week five, so keep an eye on them.
- 3:46SPEAKER_02: I don't know if you'd want to play them anyway, but not the damn Jets.
- 3:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah, definitely not Kenyon, but maybe Hawkinson uh if he's ready to go.
- 3:54SPEAKER_02: So quite a few injuries, you know, you just got to keep an eye on all those guys.
- 3:59SPEAKER_02: But we got a few trade targets for you, so let's get into it.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: You want to lead us off, Joe?
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: What's your trade target for the day?
- 4:13SPEAKER_02: Uh, I did a player profile on this guy, and I just want to touch on it again.
- 4:17SPEAKER_02: That's Chase Brown.
- 4:19SPEAKER_02: I think he's a good buy low candidate right now because he's on a bye this week, and the panic around Chase is exactly what we heard last year.
- 4:29SPEAKER_02: And I know it's been a slow start, but he's had a couple good games.
- 4:33SPEAKER_02: He's still averaging 13 points a game, so I just don't really understand the panic.
- 4:36SPEAKER_02: And here's the thing there's probably a lot of managers out there that are frustrated with Chase Brown and they need a win this week.
- 4:42SPEAKER_02: He's a good running back on a great offense, and I think it's the perfect time to buy low, especially if someone's one and four and two and three and they need a win.
- 4:50SPEAKER_02: Just make a move.
- 4:51SPEAKER_02: You're not gonna have to spend too much because right now he's on a buy and he is having a slow start.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I I agree with you, man.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Chase Brown, he's definitely gonna be uh uh he is an excellent buy low candidate because whoever's had him so far, he hasn't lived up to that second round draft pick.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: No, right?
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: So they're probably looking at something with uh you know to move him around more than likely, but you're right.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: Uh great opportunity.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: Well, good luck in our league, man.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: That guy ain't trading him.
- 5:21SPEAKER_02: I know, I've tried.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: Now for my trade targets, I have a gentleman that I think you're very familiar with because you just traded for him.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: Uh, but my trade target is Mr.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: Jeremia Love, rookie number four for the Arizona Cardinals.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: Uh, so coming in, this guy has been struggling.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, uh, last two games, there hasn't been pretty.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: He has 63 rushing yards and uh only 63 against the Giants, 22 against Detroit.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: So I know for a fact that his managers are gonna be frustrated.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: Now, and in their defense, the Detroit game, and uh they got it behind really, really, really early.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: And I think the Giants was pretty much the same thing.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: They controlled it from the opening kickoff to the end, right?
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: The Giants were kind of putting that work on the on the Cardinals.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: They scored a few, but ultimately that defense is really good.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: Uh, but what I'm buying about Love is his uh his workload, not the box score, right?
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: So San Francisco, he had 21 carries, uh 109 yards and a touchdown.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: Uh, we already seen what he did uh five games.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: He's already seen 67 carries plus 13 targets.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: So he's gonna he's gonna be a really good fantasy flex back.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: Uh, but this is where you take advantage of somebody looking at two bad fantasy scores and thinking that you know that one breakout week was a fluke.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: So uh I'm thinking the opposite, right?
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm going after him.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: He's a young running back, growing workload, receiving upside, and the talent is there.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: It's just a matter of opportunity at this point.
- 6:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, man, I totally agree with that.
- 7:00SPEAKER_02: I think he's a great by low, and you know, that's that's why I did make a trade for him with you.
- 7:05SPEAKER_02: I think that you can't deny the talent.
- 7:08SPEAKER_02: He was drafted so high for a reason.
- 7:10SPEAKER_02: And I the only hang up I have is they are gonna be playing from behind a lot.
- 7:15SPEAKER_02: I understand that, but we know what he can do.
- 7:19SPEAKER_02: We know what he's capable of.
- 7:20SPEAKER_02: He's dealing with an injury right now.
- 7:22SPEAKER_02: Once he's 100%, I think it's gonna be wheels up, and I'm real high on him for the rest of the season.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: And and here's the thing I noticed watching all these Arizona games, because I've been watching them a lot, right?
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: Because obviously I have invested in you know, Jeremiah Love before this.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: And, you know, one thing I notice is that they get away from the run too early.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: Like when the game is still close, instead of them trying to establish that run, they immediately go with the pass heavy approach approach with Jacoby uh what with Jacoby Rossette.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: So they get into the position where they don't even uh establish the run, and by the time they even run into futures too late, right?
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: The game's already out of hand.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: So that's where NFL teams need to start pacing themselves.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: I think Cardinals being one of them, they do have a really good offensive coordinator in uh Mike LaFleur, right?
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: So I could see him quite possibly having an improvement, but that's gonna take several weeks, I think, to play itself out.
- 8:16SPEAKER_02: So yeah, it's gonna be someone you gotta you, you know.
- 8:20SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm playing him this week, but that's because I'm in a situation where I have to.
- 8:24SPEAKER_02: I would play him too.
- 8:25SPEAKER_02: I would still flex him this week.
- 8:26SPEAKER_02: And the thing is, like you might have to be a little patient.
- 8:30SPEAKER_02: So if if you are one and four or two and three, maybe he's not the best guy to trade for.
- 8:34SPEAKER_02: I'm two and three and I made a trade for him.
- 8:36SPEAKER_02: In that league, I'm two and three, I made a trade for him.
- 8:38SPEAKER_02: Or maybe I'm three and two, whatever.
- 8:40SPEAKER_02: It's something that I'm comfortable with, knowing that this week might not be the week, maybe not even next week, but I'm high on him for the rest of the year.
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, definitely.
- 8:49SPEAKER_02: Now for my second trade target, this one's a little harder to sell than Chase, than Chase Brown, but I have Ladd McConkey.
- 9:00SPEAKER_02: Here's the thing: he's only had one good game, he's on a terrible offense, and he's been dealing with injuries.
- 9:05SPEAKER_02: So, like I said, it's a tough sell.
- 9:07SPEAKER_02: But with that said, there's plenty of time left in the season, and his value can't get much lower.
- 9:12SPEAKER_02: So, right now is the time to shoot.
- 9:14SPEAKER_02: You know, I I made a trade with Gendry.
- 9:16SPEAKER_02: I, you know, gave him Dalton Kincaid, sold high on him, bought low on McConkey.
- 9:21SPEAKER_02: It hasn't, nothing's happened yet for either one of us.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: But I still think you won that trade, though.
- 9:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, long term, I think I'm gonna win that trade.
- 9:28SPEAKER_02: And if the offense gets their shit together or you know, let's let's Mike McDaniel go, we could see him fall back into place as a wide receiver, too, for your squad.
- 9:36SPEAKER_02: And of course, with both of these guys, Chase Brown and Lab McConkey, I'm I need to emphasize that it's buy low.
- 9:43SPEAKER_02: I'm not saying just make a trade for one of you know one of your better players.
- 9:48SPEAKER_02: It's it's something that you've got to use a little strategy.
- 9:51SPEAKER_02: You don't want to give up a reliable fantasy player based on what we've seen from these guys.
- 9:55SPEAKER_02: But if you can put a two for one together or a one one for one with someone you got in the later rounds or off the waiver wire, I think it's a really good time to buy low on Ladd and Chase.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, if I was needing wide receiver death and I needed a dart throw, you know, if I'm able to trade a flex level player for Ladd, I think it's definitely his value right now, right?
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: Unless someone drafted him in the third or fourth round, then they're it's gonna be a little bit harder to convince them to come up off them because they already invested so highly.
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: But I'm I'm a big proponent of don't get too heavily invested in where you drafted your players.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: Just look at the numbers.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: Like, for example, there's players that you may have drafted later that are probably out producing their their predecessors, right?
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: People that were you know drafted before them.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: So, prime example of that is I got Chuba Hubbard and the sixth or seventh round, right?
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: And he's like RB5 right now, you know, points per game.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: So he's a perfect example of hey, if I ever wanted to sell him, I would never get his value because people are gonna look at when he was drafted versus what he's producing.
- 10:59SPEAKER_02: And they look at the name and they they think average when I, you know, he isn't above average back, he always has been, but you know, the numbers don't always show it, he's up and down.
- 11:07SPEAKER_02: So that is a perfect example.
- 11:10SPEAKER_02: Another good example is like Matthew Golden.
- 11:12SPEAKER_02: He was going way late in the rounds, and he's probably close to a top 10 wide receiver right now.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, or Christian Watson, right?
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, there you go.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: Um, now for my trade targets, actually a grenade that you need to get rid of, right?
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: Toss that baby out, get rid of it.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: Uh, it's a sell high candidate, and his name is Mr.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: Aaron Jones Jr.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: And now before anybody says, why would it trade a running back who just went for over 100 yards?
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: Uh that's exactly why you trade them.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: Uh Jones gave uh he gave you 113 rushing yards last week and a touchdown on 25 carries, which is the ultimate workload that you will want for a running back.
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: Uh, here's the problem.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: Aaron Jones is an older running back, he's already dealt with a knee issue uh this season, and it's been a career knee issue, and he's he still has other backs that Minnesota can work into this offense.
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: Keep in mind, uh uh the running back.
- 12:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Jordan Mason's coming back.
- 12:17SPEAKER_00: Jordan Mason, yes.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: So perfect.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: Running back Jordan Mason, he's coming back from injury, right?
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: And when we saw he was on that team last year, it was always a split committee.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: They want to keep Aaron Jones healthy and fresh.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: He's only getting a workload because he can handle it.
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: But I know Minnesota having him for the last three years, four years, knows that he's been injured every single year since then.
- 12:37SPEAKER_00: So I don't think the value is gonna get any higher than it is right now uh for Aaron Jones, especially with the bye week.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: If you can flip them this week, it's perfect.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: Because you don't even miss a beat, right?
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: You just get your next guy and you move on and you never have to worry him again.
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: But I don't want to be holding it back when that workload comes coming back to earth or the injuries start creeping in.
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: So that's why you know sell the points you already got, buy the points that are coming up next.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: That's my strategy.
- 13:05SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, I think it's a perfect time for him, too.
- 13:14SPEAKER_02: Now let's get into our hot matchups.
- 13:21SPEAKER_02: Now for my hot matchup, you might be surprised by this, but I have the Bears versus the Falcons.
- 13:27SPEAKER_02: The over-under is surprisingly 49 and a half points.
- 13:31SPEAKER_02: I'm not sure who the cure who the quarterback will be for either team, but I really like this matchup if we get Caleb Williams and Michael Phoenix Jr.
- 13:40SPEAKER_02: If we get the backups, it will significantly impact the receivers.
- 13:44SPEAKER_02: So I'm basing this off of the starters.
- 13:47SPEAKER_02: If we get the starters, I really like this game.
- 13:50SPEAKER_02: And I really like the run game for both teams either way, but obviously that passing game is going to be greatly affected if we're dealing with the backups.
- 13:58SPEAKER_02: The Bears' passing game has been very frustrating.
- 14:00SPEAKER_02: Regardless of the quarterback, it's been pretty bad.
- 14:02SPEAKER_02: And you never know who's getting the targets either.
- 14:05SPEAKER_02: With that said, the Falcons' passing defense is terrible.
- 14:09SPEAKER_02: And this is a good get-right game for Luther Burden and Real Madunze.
- 14:13SPEAKER_02: I like both of them this week.
- 14:15SPEAKER_02: I like Burden more, but I do like both of them maybe as a flex play.
- 14:18SPEAKER_02: And if Caleb Williams is ready to go, I'm starting him too.
- 14:22SPEAKER_02: And, you know, Swift has been up and down, but I'm still playing him every week, regardless of the matchup or the status of Kyle Menongai, who's dealing with a toe injury.
- 14:30SPEAKER_02: Um, the Falcons do have a pretty tough run defense, so lower your expectations for the running backs, but they both provide a safe floor.
- 14:38SPEAKER_02: And Swift as an RB2 and Menongay as a flex play if he's healthy.
- 14:42SPEAKER_02: I like that.
- 14:43SPEAKER_02: And I would start Swift and then just keep an eye on Menongay because he's dealing with that toe injury.
- 14:49SPEAKER_02: And I'm still benching Colston Loveland until he shows us something.
- 14:52SPEAKER_02: But altogether, I do like that game.
- 14:54SPEAKER_02: And I wouldn't be surprised if he produces two.
- 14:56SPEAKER_02: Now, the Falcons, they've been really fun to watch, mostly because of Bijan Robinson, but the passing has been actually pretty good too.
- 15:04SPEAKER_02: Obviously, you're starting Bijan without a second thought.
- 15:08SPEAKER_02: Michael Phoenix is dealing with that injury that we mentioned earlier, so keep an eye on the status for him this week because the quarterback situation, again, is up in the air for both teams.
- 15:17SPEAKER_02: Now we know the passing game is basically non-existent with the backups in Atlanta.
- 15:22SPEAKER_02: So if we don't have Penix under center, this game will be pretty ugly.
- 15:26SPEAKER_02: But if we get him, I like Drake London a lot.
- 15:29SPEAKER_02: If we don't, of course you're still playing London, but with a much lower ceiling.
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: And uh similar tight end situation.
- 15:36SPEAKER_02: I still need to see more from Kyle Pitts before I'm starting him.
- 15:40SPEAKER_02: Altogether, this game, again, comes down to the quarterbacks for it for it to be deemed hot or not.
- 15:46SPEAKER_02: But if we get Caleb and Phoenix, I think it'll be a nice game for the receivers on both teams and expect a big game from the running backs either way.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: I mean, you're totally right.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: Those are two teams that really heavily rely on quarterback play, right?
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: As any any good team should in the NFL, right?
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: They should rely heavily on quarterback play to win, but obviously they're a little bit more than other teams, right?
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: Um the good thing is Michael Penix has been uh full participant today, so he's gonna be playing, ribs have been cleared, so he's gonna be definitely going up against uh hopefully Caleb Williams.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: That would be the big question mark, right?
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: He's been out for about two weeks now, so you know he's looking at the possibility of playing.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: And I think when you play Caleb Williams, everybody on the offense gets an automatic increase, right?
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: Uh maybe Colson Loveland gets a slight one.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: Again, I'm not a big fan of that tight end group because Cole Komet's always gonna eat out of those cookies.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: But if you're looking for an emergency spot start, you know, that could be something that works for you, right?
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: Depending on how deep your league is.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: Um playing Colson Loveland with Caleb Williams.
- 16:54SPEAKER_02: No, no, not trying to uh glaze too much, but we both said that at the beginning of the season that we don't understand why Loveland's ranked so high.
- 17:03SPEAKER_02: We said that when we were doing our rankings videos.
- 17:05SPEAKER_02: It there's just a lot of mouths to feed, and it it just seemed very high preseason to you know to rank him as high as he was.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: Now, um, you know, on the Atlanta side, obviously, when you have B.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: John and Drake London, you're gonna be moving the ball.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: That's not gonna be a problem.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: So, you know, I'm excited.
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: There, those guys I think are gonna score more points than anybody.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: Obviously, they could have those are guys that could shoot for like 30, 40 point games easily, you know, depending on the kind of night uh the defense decides to play.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: So I could see that being a high scoring affair.
- 17:40SPEAKER_02: I think so.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: Now for my hot matchup, you know, this was a little bit tough this week.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: There's a couple really good games I liked, uh, but I ended up uh going with the Cowboys versus the Packers.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: So I want certain pieces of this game.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: So Dallas has been uh scoring 27 points per game, which is seventh in the NFL.
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: Uh Dak Prescott already has 1,381 passing yards and nine touchdowns.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: Uh CeeDee Lamb is sitting at 507 yards.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: You know, uh Javante Williams already has five touchdowns this year.
- 18:17SPEAKER_02: Um I'm not sure.
- 18:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's it's a lot.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: It's a lot.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: He's already rushed for like 500 yards.
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: So like their Dallas pieces are are doing really, really well.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: Obviously, we have to monitor CeeDee Lamb, see if he's gonna be a game time decision.
- 18:33SPEAKER_00: But uh with CeeDee Lamb possibly being out, that gives a huge upgrade to George Pickens because we've seen what he's done historically with CeeDee Lamb being out, and more specifically last week when he was out, George Pickens went off as a highlight, right?
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: Uh as a primary receiver.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna see a lot of high scoring on the Packers side.
- 18:52SPEAKER_00: Uh now, here's what's interesting is that uh, you know, the Dallas defense hasn't exactly been uh ruining anybody's Sunday, right?
- 19:02SPEAKER_00: So if you're looking at Dallas defense and Green Bay defense, so they'd have just five sacks.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: Uh Dallas has five sacks, which is 30 if an NFL and zero interceptions.
- 19:13SPEAKER_00: So, you know, that tells me that I'm gonna fire up Jordan Love on the other side, right?
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: He had a big game last week.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: He's gonna continue to have a big week game because if anything his history has anything to say about this rivalry is that they're gonna put up a lot of points, right?
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: So it's gonna be a fun game.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: Uh Jordan Love, you're gonna have Christian Watson, of course, who's been his top target.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: Uh he's, you know, on the others, let's see.
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: So in the last five games, he's already had four touchdowns, right?
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: And two of them have been for over 50 yards.
- 19:47SPEAKER_00: So the guy's a home run threat.
- 19:49SPEAKER_00: I mean, you're in plays.
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: You were, I think you were talking about Marcus Golden earlier, right?
- 19:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I like Matthew Golden.
- 19:55SPEAKER_02: Matthew Golden's targets are like they're he's very comparable to Christian Watson as far as his production.
- 20:02SPEAKER_02: He's just not getting the touchdowns.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he's super efficient.
- 20:05SPEAKER_00: And then Tucker Kraft's gotten one or two, though.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: Tucker Kraft is coming back into his own, right?
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: He he has to get that ACL under him.
- 20:12SPEAKER_00: But uh, you know, this just feels like one of those Sunday night games where you check your score at halftime and realize that your matchup is riding on this specific matchup, right?
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: Because that's where all your points are coming.
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: So my final verdict is obviously start your Cowboys and your Packers and give me the passing game weapons on both sides.
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: Now, with that being said, I do like Javante.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: However, I'm not a big fan of the Green Bay backfield, so take that at your own risk.
- 20:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we did see um a very pleasant surprise.
- 20:44SPEAKER_02: Well, not pleasant for most people because they probably dropped him, but Marshawn Lloyd actually got in the end zone, I think, twice.
- 20:52SPEAKER_02: And um, hey, if they get up to the goal line against Dallas, you know, he could be a flex play, but that's that's definitely a risk.
- 21:05SPEAKER_02: Now let's get into our cold calls.
- 21:11SPEAKER_02: For my cold call, I have the Steelers versus the Buccaneers.
- 21:16SPEAKER_02: The over-under is 40 and a half points.
- 21:19SPEAKER_02: The Steelers' offense has been better than expected, but it's very unpredictable aside from Jalen Warren.
- 21:26SPEAKER_02: Aaron Rodgers is kind of like Josh Allen with his pass catchers.
- 21:29SPEAKER_02: He peppers DK with very minimal results.
- 21:32SPEAKER_02: And once in a while, he targets a random wide receiver or a tight end.
- 21:36SPEAKER_02: Um, Jalen Warren's the man in Pittsburgh, and he should be started regardless of the matchup until Mike McCarthy decides to get Rico more involved.
- 21:44SPEAKER_02: And I think uh Fryermouth is actually a good spot start if you need a tight end this week.
- 21:48SPEAKER_02: And obviously, if you got DK, you're probably gonna start him too.
- 21:52SPEAKER_02: Um, but you know, it's it's just one of those things where you really just don't know what to expect with the Steelers' offense outside of Jalen Warren.
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: And the Bucks offense, it's been a shit show.
- 22:03SPEAKER_02: It's unpredictable, too.
- 22:04SPEAKER_02: Baker's injured.
- 22:05SPEAKER_02: Ibuka, he'll usually get you about 10 points, which is basically a low-end flex.
- 22:10SPEAKER_02: And Bucky had three good games and two bad games over the first five weeks.
- 22:14SPEAKER_02: So who knows what he'll do on Sunday?
- 22:16SPEAKER_02: And the Steelers run defense has holes, but they held JT to 45 yards last week.
- 22:22SPEAKER_02: So I would start Bucky and probably Ibuka, um, but I'm just lowering the ceiling for the entire offense.
- 22:27SPEAKER_02: And the defense for both teams has been good.
- 22:30SPEAKER_02: So I see this being more of a grind than a shootout.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I agree.
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'm a big proponent of sell high on Bucky Irvin, too, right?
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: I am too, yeah.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: He's somebody you sell high on and you buy low on a Buka because uh, I mean, he had that last week, it was his first good game of the season.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: He is only averaging 10 points a game.
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: But I think with Baker Mayfield, when he does get back, it's gonna give a huge uptick to a Buka.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: So, you know, buy him now before Baker's close to getting there because right now is the perfect time to trade a flex running back or something to get him.
- 23:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and and I do, you know, I was higher on Bucky coming into the season than most people, so I'm happy to see him doing well.
- 23:10SPEAKER_02: Um, I just don't know how long that's gonna last.
- 23:12SPEAKER_02: I hope it does, though.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: Now, my cold matchup is uh two teams that are known to get after you.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: Okay, one team has 14 sacks and seven interceptions, the other one has 13 sacks and five picks.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: So that's gonna be the Seahawks versus the Broncos.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: So this is the game that has all the ingredients for some primetime fantasy terrorism.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'm talking about players that are gonna come in and, you know, besides the weapons, right?
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: Uh I mean, I'm not starting anybody else.
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: So, for example, on the Seattle side, Sam Darnold has been up and down, you know.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: Uh last three full games, he was quarterback 22 in fantasy.
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: So he's not somebody that you want to start by any means.
- 24:01SPEAKER_00: Obviously, Jackson Smith, Nick Jigba has proved he is matchup proof.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: He's already had five eight five hundred and eighty three yards and seven touchdowns for the year.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: Unreal.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: That is a wide receiver one, right?
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: And it's not even close.
- 24:14SPEAKER_00: He just took took over where he left off from last year.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: So I'm definitely starting him, but anybody else, like for example, running backs, EJ, EJ or Emmanuel Wilson has been playing.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: I don't think he's that sustainable long term, especially against the Broncos team, because they're really good against the run, right?
- 24:34SPEAKER_00: So I I think ultimately it's gonna have to come down to whose defense ends up scoring the most, because uh uh at the end of the day, nothing ruins your fantasy afternoon worse or or or faster than having a complete dud of a game on Thursday and having to watch that going into the weekend, right?
- 24:53SPEAKER_00: That already sets you up for a negativity and a downward spiral.
- 24:57SPEAKER_00: So, you know, besides you know, Jackson Smith and Jake Bull and you know, on the on the Denver side, I couldn't even start anybody on Denver.
- 25:07SPEAKER_00: I was just gonna say I'm I'm not starting anyone on Denver.
- 25:10SPEAKER_02: I mean, regardless of who they're playing, I'm not confident.
- 25:12SPEAKER_02: And then they're playing Seattle.
- 25:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I don't like that at all.
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, even with Sean Payton calling plays last week, man, they didn't they they still haven't shown that spark.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: You know, Jalen Waddle is still suffering from the same thing he suffered from in Miami, and he has career, yeah, hands of stone, man.
- 25:30SPEAKER_00: He drops a lot of wide open looks, you know, he gets ahead of himself, so he's not somebody that I could see consistently going off.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: Cortland Sun is another guy, you know.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: Bo Nicks is up and down.
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: So, you know, if you have any parts of these offenses besides JSN, I feel bad for you.
- 25:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think Emmanuel Wilson could be a good flex play, but it's risky.
- 25:51SPEAKER_02: And um obviously the the backfield in Denver, you don't want to touch that with a 10-foot pole.
- 25:57SPEAKER_02: And what I say, I told you to sell high on RJ Harvey, and you know, he went from 19 or 20 points to like one.
- 26:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think he had one point or like 0.5 or something.
- 26:06SPEAKER_02: So uh I mean there's gonna be games, don't get me wrong.
- 26:11SPEAKER_02: There's gonna be games, but it's hit or miss with that entire team.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: And you can't even predict with those guys either.
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: It's not like they hit on the good matchups, you know.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, sometimes they shit the bet on a good matchup.
- 26:22SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 26:22SPEAKER_00: So, you know, unfortunately, I'm just I'm just not ready to take that L, you know, on Thursday night.
- 26:38SPEAKER_01: That smells like shit.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: Oh god.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: Is that you or me?
- 26:42SPEAKER_01: It's both of us.
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: It's time it's time for our shit calls.
- 26:52SPEAKER_02: Uh for my shit call.
- 26:54SPEAKER_02: I told a lot of people to pick up Roman Wilson.
- 26:57SPEAKER_02: I did a player profile on him, and he did absolutely nothing in that first half before he went down.
- 27:02SPEAKER_02: He had one target, and then on that target, that's when he got injured.
- 27:07SPEAKER_02: So you got absolutely nothing out of him, and now he's possibly going on IR.
- 27:11SPEAKER_02: The rest of the game could have been different, and we can't predict injuries, but he looked good leading up to week five, and I was pretty high on him.
- 27:18SPEAKER_02: So if you picked him up, I'm sorry.
- 27:20SPEAKER_02: Hopefully things turn out better for uh Jeremy Bernard, who is the next hot waiver ad after Roman Wilson.
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: I actually like Jeremy Bernard better.
- 27:29SPEAKER_00: I seen him play.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: He he does really good.
- 27:31SPEAKER_00: The guy is talented.
- 27:32SPEAKER_02: Uh he was a high draft pick.
- 27:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he was.
- 27:35SPEAKER_00: So I could I see Jeremy doing pretty solid, you know, for Pittsburgh's side.
- 27:41SPEAKER_00: Now for my shit call.
- 27:43SPEAKER_00: Now I'm I'm really a glutton for punishment, guys.
- 27:48SPEAKER_00: You know, I love to do things, I like to give y'all advice, and then I don't follow my own advice.
- 27:53SPEAKER_00: So my shit call from last week was starring David Montgomery.
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: So this week I said, you know what?
- 27:59SPEAKER_00: Woody Marks, right?
- 28:01SPEAKER_00: David Montgomery was injured, you know, it's gonna be, you know, it's gonna shift back to Woody Marks, right?
- 28:07SPEAKER_00: So I talked myself into Woody Marks, and then come, you know, a couple days before game day, I ended up switching back to Montgomery thinking that you know they gave him this contract and they signed, you know, they traded for him, so they're gonna make him the focal point still.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: Man, I I did not learn my lesson because Montgomery got me like one or two points.
- 28:27SPEAKER_00: It was crazy.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: He got injured again.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: You can't predict injuries.
- 28:30SPEAKER_00: However, I had something telling me that I wanted I needed to start Woody Marks, and I went against my gut.
- 28:37SPEAKER_00: So my shit call here is trusting Dave Montgomery for another week, man.
- 28:42SPEAKER_02: Dude, I I do that all the time.
- 28:44SPEAKER_02: And I I actually won this game, but it was very close.
- 28:49SPEAKER_02: Where I had, and I mean, don't get me wrong, Dak Prescott's a good start every week.
- 28:53SPEAKER_02: But I had to decide between Jacoby Brissett, who had that amazing matchup against Detroit, or Dak Prescott.
- 29:00SPEAKER_02: And at the last second, I benched Jacoby and I started Dak and I bear I just squeaked by and won that game.
- 29:06SPEAKER_02: Where if I had started Jacoby and just gone with my gut, which I was gonna do in the first place, it would have been like uh you know 15 more points and I wouldn't have been stressing.
- 29:16SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I mean I would do that too.
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: Like when you look at it, and here's I think where people will need to like realize about fantasy, man.
- 29:23SPEAKER_00: You could have a superstar shit to bet in a crucial time, like the fantasy playoffs, for example, right?
- 29:30SPEAKER_00: Like I I think you always need to play your matchups.
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: So, for example, if you have a team where their whole O line is injured, they're going up against a top run defense, you know, they've been getting out of the court at the quarterbacks, things like that, and it's someone that's still a starting running back, you know.
- 29:47SPEAKER_00: Sometimes it's better to bench them and and just pull a guy off the wire, right?
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: Like a guy that just got bumped up, like a like for example, Jeremy, you know, Bernard.
- 29:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 29:59SPEAKER_02: Jeremy, yeah.
- 30:00SPEAKER_02: It's weird.
- 30:01SPEAKER_02: It's G-E-R-M-I-E.
- 30:03SPEAKER_02: I have it written down right in front of me because I kept I I'm not sure if that's how I'm pretty sure that's how it's pronounced.
- 30:08SPEAKER_02: Jeremy, not Jeremy.
- 30:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but uh either way, he's he's somebody that I would start over a few guys this week, right?
- 30:15SPEAKER_00: Like definitely over RJ Harvey.
- 30:17SPEAKER_00: I would start him over freaking Jalen Waddle.
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: You know, that's that's the confidence that I have in someone like that, right?
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because the matchup is so good.
- 30:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, there's a lot of guys like that, like Emmanuel Wilson.
- 30:28SPEAKER_02: He's a good example of someone you could have grabbed off the wire and put over one of your you know draft picks.
- 30:34SPEAKER_02: And um, you know, I'm starting Jeremy over Marshawn Lloyd this week, and like Marshawn Lloyd might give you that floor, might, might not.
- 30:43SPEAKER_02: Um, but I feel like Jeremy Bernard's just got a bigger ceiling.
- 30:46SPEAKER_02: So I'm starting him in a flex spot over Marshawn Lloyd, who Marshawn Lloyd's guaranteed touches, but I'm I'm going with my gut on this one with Jeremy Bernard.
- 30:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and if you guys are ever in this dilemma as well, where you're trying to decide on who to start with, give us a uh a mention.
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: You can mention in the messages or anything below, or send us DM.
- 31:07SPEAKER_00: We'd love to answer your question, guys, and give you our honest opinion on it.
- 31:11SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 31:11SPEAKER_02: You make a comment, we're gonna get notified uh notifications.
- 31:14SPEAKER_02: So please.
- 31:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, keep it coming.
- 31:19SPEAKER_00: Now, unfortunately, it's that time, guys.
- 31:22SPEAKER_00: That time we hate, it's the end of the show, right?
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: We we want to thank you for this fine week, week six of the fantasy football season for you guys joining us.
- 31:32SPEAKER_00: Uh, you know, me and Joe put a lot of work into this.
- 31:34SPEAKER_00: We dedicated ourselves.

- 31:52SPEAKER_00: Uh, send it over.
- 31:54SPEAKER_00: Joe, you got anything for these guys?
- 31:56SPEAKER_02: No, just all that good stuff.
- 31:57SPEAKER_02: Like, comment, subscribe.
- 31:58SPEAKER_02: We appreciate the support.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: Yes, guys.
- 32:01SPEAKER_00: And I appreciate your time.
- 32:02SPEAKER_00: We'll see you here, same time, same place next week.
- 32:05SPEAKER_00: You folks be well, all right?
- 32:07SPEAKER_00: Love you guys.
