- 1:22Speaker 1: the bad producer, Bad produce? What were you drinking last night?
- 1:24Speaker 1: The worst producer? What were you drinking last night? Man?
- 1:29Speaker 1: I was drinking water to recoup, But what were you
- 1:31Speaker 1: drinking before? That because I can smell it over here. Wow,
- 1:34Speaker 1: it's okay, you're fifty five years old probably, but it's
- 1:39Speaker 1: probably still from when the party, probably on my jack.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I had this on you know, I've been last two days. No,
- 1:43Speaker 1: it's coming out your poors. Nah, I ain't. Yeah, I
- 1:46Speaker 1: can take now.
- 1:47Speaker 5: This man grown enough to know what liquor coming out
- 1:49Speaker 5: the poor? Yeah, the first time around, somebody I.
- 1:53Speaker 6: Drinking up water to you know, to recuperate that. But
- 1:56Speaker 6: I was drinking you know, little camelman, The.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Water pushes it out the poor. Please explain science and
- 2:02Speaker 1: everything to this dude.
- 2:04Speaker 5: Process through your body and it flushes it out of
- 2:07Speaker 5: the poor, which is how your body detoxifies and gets
- 2:10Speaker 5: rid of all the toxins.
- 2:12Speaker 1: But because the alcohol is fermitent almost you can smell it.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Might be someone else, but I'm not because I can
- 2:26Speaker 1: smell you, just like I knew it was Victor Riley.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I can smell anymore the quarterback or whoever else I
- 2:33Speaker 1: was in the huddle with. This is about as tight
- 2:35Speaker 1: as a circle of a huddle is. We can smell
- 2:36Speaker 1: each other. Come on, man, I don't get what was
- 2:43Speaker 1: I not supposed to know?
- 2:44Speaker 3: No?
- 2:45Speaker 1: I mean I no, I ain't. No, No, I hadn't even.
- 2:48Speaker 1: That's crazy and even Base what it sounds like he's
- 2:54Speaker 1: about that. No, Man, I hadn't even. I'm just wondering
- 2:57Speaker 1: what I was rocking and rolling on. You know, I
- 3:02Speaker 1: don't have no blue lights. I mean the fact that
- 3:04Speaker 1: you made it is the thumbs up.
- 3:06Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying.
- 3:07Speaker 5: Weed, I mean, you came in here smelling like that,
- 3:10Speaker 5: which means it took some get Yeah, it took you
- 3:13Speaker 5: some effort to get here.
- 3:14Speaker 1: So so tequila okay, Jose, Okay, Man, it took two
- 3:20Speaker 1: minutes to get You're supposed to be through three other subjects.
- 3:24Speaker 5: We was both doing Spanish things. You had that, Jose,
- 3:27Speaker 5: I had that poplo you you know what I'm saying.
- 3:30Speaker 5: I had that.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Five were both going Monday Night football Tonight. The Falcons
- 3:36Speaker 1: in a must win situation. Basically, barring injuries, the Tampa
- 3:40Speaker 1: Bay Bucks will be ten and seven. The Falcons have
- 3:46Speaker 1: to win out there were six and seven. They're gonna
- 3:49Speaker 1: have to win all four games. That's why I said,
- 3:52Speaker 1: barring injuries, Tampa Bay looks like they're poised to minimum
- 3:58Speaker 1: ten and seven the Falcon to wind the division. Since
- 4:01Speaker 1: they already have the tiebreakers have to have the same record.
- 4:04Speaker 1: It starts tonight. They do have the second easiest schedule
- 4:08Speaker 1: as the season winds down, with teams like the Giants
- 4:13Speaker 1: next week, the Raiders, tonight, the Panthers at the end
- 4:17Speaker 1: of the season. Really out of the last four games,
- 4:20Speaker 1: their biggest game is the Commanders, but it starts tonight
- 4:23Speaker 1: out in Las Vegas where the Falcons and Raiders. I
- 4:27Speaker 1: was gonna go out to the game, but I got
- 4:29Speaker 1: other things to do. Here in Georgia is the state
- 4:33Speaker 1: finals the night tomorrow and Wednesday night down at the
- 4:38Speaker 1: Mercedes Benz. If you like college football, you should tune in,
- 4:44Speaker 1: as I have been on this mic and have been
- 4:46Speaker 1: telling you most of your Saturday and Sunday. Guys that
- 4:50Speaker 1: you even know like a Travis Hunter come from the
- 4:55Speaker 1: state of Georgia. So tonight May is playing North though Coney.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Just a good old fashioned both teams from fourteen and
- 5:03Speaker 1: oh so if that lives up to the both records
- 5:06Speaker 1: showing up, that's just a good old football game. Maria's
- 5:08Speaker 1: running the triple double quadruple option. They've been running it
- 5:16Speaker 1: since nineteen seventy six. It's the same, yeah, it's that
- 5:21Speaker 1: same same thing, same thing. It's the same coach, same thing,
- 5:26Speaker 1: just the triple coach Coach McVay of the Rams. This
- 5:34Speaker 1: is his old high school when he was quarterback. He
- 5:36Speaker 1: ran this system. So the world champion Rams their head coach,
- 5:39Speaker 1: Sean McVay, this is the high school he went to
- 5:42Speaker 1: UH and they run the same Oh whatever, whatever we
- 5:47Speaker 1: see as the triple, it's the triple. Is it broken
- 5:54Speaker 1: bone or they still running the wish by? They they
- 5:57Speaker 1: have expanded it and retract did it? They just kind
- 6:01Speaker 1: of go along with what they have. But it's in
- 6:03Speaker 1: that family because when you say stuff people to now,
- 6:07Speaker 1: people are so literal. They put you on the hook.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Oh I thought you said it was d wing t
- 6:14Speaker 1: All of it is option. It's just based on how
- 6:17Speaker 1: it's like when he was asking me they're gonna be
- 6:19Speaker 1: in the formation, was that they're gonna be more No,
- 6:23Speaker 1: remember he was asking me with the Falcons. Hey man,
- 6:25Speaker 1: they say they're gonna lie more than the field. Okay,
- 6:28Speaker 1: It's just a.
- 6:30Speaker 5: Lot of that stuff is just something he heard somebody
- 6:32Speaker 5: else say. He doesn't even really know what it means.
- 6:34Speaker 1: But marriage North throw Coney Tonight, North through Coney. They
- 6:38Speaker 1: have a receiver named Landon rollding Uh. He is going
- 6:41Speaker 1: to the UGA. And they also have a four star
- 6:44Speaker 1: linebacker named Kamari Brooks six four about I don't know
- 6:48Speaker 1: where they grow on these kids, about two forty. He's excellent.
- 6:53Speaker 1: He might be the best high school. He want to
- 6:55Speaker 1: stay China with the basketball team.
- 6:56Speaker 5: They're not they're not kids. They're coming from like Croatia
- 6:59Speaker 5: at thirty two years old. They just shave them up
- 7:02Speaker 5: and get them some fake documents. Man, that's what's happening now.
- 7:05Speaker 5: I mean, I wouldn't doubt anyhow sports, but these are
- 7:08Speaker 5: the championships. These are the state championship.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Now state championships.
- 7:11Speaker 5: Didn't they used to play that in the Mercedes Ben's
- 7:14Speaker 5: Dome or it used to be the Georgia Dome. Was
- 7:16Speaker 5: that same state championship Georgia High School.
- 7:19Speaker 1: When I started, it was in the Georgia Dome, okay,
- 7:21Speaker 1: and then which was my first year, and then they
- 7:23Speaker 1: got rid of that and got the Bend. And while
- 7:25Speaker 1: they were building the Bends, they went to Georgia State, Okay.
- 7:29Speaker 1: And now they didn't really like Georgia State because it's
- 7:31Speaker 1: outside and the coaches really don't like to play in
- 7:35Speaker 1: this kind of weather with kids, you know, the kids
- 7:38Speaker 1: you want to feel because kids don't know how to
- 7:40Speaker 1: manage weather as good as adults do as far as
- 7:44Speaker 1: their mental right. The weather really affects them. But tomorrow night,
- 7:49Speaker 1: Milton quarterback Luke Nickel is going to Miami. CJ. Wiley
- 7:54Speaker 1: is the receiver. He is rated as number one or
- 7:57Speaker 1: two receiver in the country, is taking on Langston Hughes.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Langston Hughes I have about eight SEC players, they have
- 8:08Speaker 1: Christian Langford. Milton is number two ranked team in the country.
- 8:14Speaker 1: So they're not just playing for a state title. They're
- 8:16Speaker 1: playing and if they win, they could possibly be named
- 8:20Speaker 1: the national high school team of the year. And on Wednesday,
- 8:25Speaker 1: that's Tuesday night, Wednesday night, it will be Carrollton Coach Prime.
- 8:31Speaker 1: We all placing bets to see if coach Prime shows up.
- 8:34Speaker 1: It's in Atlanta, you know, his home part time. And
- 8:39Speaker 1: Juju Lewis and Carleton, who in ranked number four nationally,
- 8:44Speaker 1: so they also are hoping Milton lose. They win, it
- 8:47Speaker 1: gives them a chance of being maybe the national champion
- 8:50Speaker 1: of the country, not just the state champion. But they're
- 8:55Speaker 1: taking on the Mighty. Grayson, who is Carleton, is fourteen old.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Grayson thirteen in one Juju is the offensive player of
- 9:03Speaker 1: the year of the state. Racing linebacker Tyler Atkinson is
- 9:08Speaker 1: the defensive player.
- 9:11Speaker 5: Now now didn't they used to do Friday through Sunday night, Okay,
- 9:14Speaker 5: and they now it's Monday to Wednesday.
- 9:16Speaker 1: This year is Monday to Wednesday.
- 9:19Speaker 5: So that is a change because I was thinking like
- 9:21Speaker 5: that sounds different than it used to be. But they
- 9:23Speaker 5: had to celebration Bowl this weekend, so they probably moved
- 9:27Speaker 5: it around.
- 9:27Speaker 1: And they don't want to They want it to be consecutive, Okay,
- 9:30Speaker 1: So they don't want it to be where they could
- 9:32Speaker 1: have done Friday and have to skip Saturday. So they
- 9:37Speaker 1: just put him time and it's a cheaper rate. I'm
- 9:40Speaker 1: sure during the week, always doing the week.
- 9:43Speaker 5: That's why I do Christmas in May, Christmas July and.
- 9:49Speaker 1: On the other In the NFL, not only the Falcons
- 9:52Speaker 1: and Raiders doing battle, the Bears in Minnesota are going
- 9:56Speaker 1: to do battle as well. Basically Bears, Raiders already out
- 10:01Speaker 1: of the playoffs, Falcons fighting to even stay in a
- 10:04Speaker 1: chance in Minnesota. With Detroit's lost yesterday, they are fighting
- 10:09Speaker 1: as we see these last three or four weeks, teams
- 10:12Speaker 1: like Minnesota are jocking with the Eagles and the Lions
- 10:17Speaker 1: to get that one team. By When they changed the
- 10:21Speaker 1: playoffs four or five years ago, it was the two
- 10:24Speaker 1: best teams in each conference got to buy. When they
- 10:27Speaker 1: added that seventh team, they only made it so one.
- 10:30Speaker 1: So it makes it all the games intriguing and right
- 10:33Speaker 1: now for how everybody records are set, this looked like
- 10:38Speaker 1: a year where maybe only the Chiefs on Week eighteen
- 10:46Speaker 1: can sit their players, but it looks like everybody else
- 10:49Speaker 1: is going to be battling through the last game, trying
- 10:51Speaker 1: to play, trying to play of the season. So those
- 10:55Speaker 1: are the two Monday night games. I don't know why
- 10:59Speaker 1: what's going on with this whole Monday night this where
- 11:02Speaker 1: both teams are playing. But also, as we'll talk later
- 11:06Speaker 1: in the week, the Chargers are playing the Broncos on Thursday.
- 11:12Speaker 1: I thought Thursday had stopped. I started thinking that stuff
- 11:16Speaker 1: really now is a disadvantaged People are hurt, and you
- 11:20Speaker 1: ain't give me. You still give me those three days off,
- 11:23Speaker 1: you know. And I thought once college was over, Thursday
- 11:27Speaker 1: just faded into Saturdays. They were just being greedy well,
- 11:31Speaker 1: they were just showing this almost go ahead.
- 11:33Speaker 6: No, they were showing that somebody's got to play on
- 11:35Speaker 6: the twenty first, and then four days later they played
- 11:38Speaker 6: Christmas Days.
- 11:39Speaker 1: That's the Chiefs. Yeah, I know that's that's the Chiefs
- 11:42Speaker 1: and Ravens, the Texans and the Steelers. Yeah, they all
- 11:46Speaker 1: got it. Yeah, they played, they played yesterday, they have
- 11:49Speaker 1: to play Saturday, and then they have to play Christmas Day. Yeah,
- 11:54Speaker 1: so that's a lot. You better keep up with the
- 11:57Speaker 1: injury report before you place some bit Patrick. Think about
- 12:02Speaker 1: Patrick Mahome ankles a little sowred, so you don't get
- 12:04Speaker 1: that extra day off. And then if he can play Altay,
- 12:07Speaker 1: now he's facing where he only has three days.
- 12:10Speaker 5: Yeah, and then if he twist his ankle trying to
- 12:12Speaker 5: dodge his wife and kids at the house, you know how.
- 12:15Speaker 1: We'll be back again. They way more to sports jock show.
- 12:19Speaker 1: You gonna get the bad producer some more water, since, uh,
- 12:25Speaker 1: we'll be back after this about five four three two.
- 12:31Speaker 1: I'll let one go, stile dumb. I don't bluff bro
- 12:34Speaker 1: aiming at your head, I can stuff you're roughing it.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I'm gonna cut through. You're a tough guy. That's enough jokes.
- 12:43Speaker 7: Joh't boy, Wayne Born of the Sports Josh Hill with

- 14:11Speaker 11: to you by the App Council.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Welcome Out.
- 14:17Speaker 12: I never realized that I'd be taking care of a
- 14:21Speaker 12: two year old and a nine year old on my own.
- 14:23Speaker 12: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes, where
- 14:26Speaker 12: pride gets in the way and they may want the help,
- 14:29Speaker 12: they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
- 14:33Speaker 12: with the family support in line, and just with my
- 14:36Speaker 12: mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into
- 14:40Speaker 12: a positive. I knew I needed more tools in my
- 14:43Speaker 12: toolbox to take care of these little girls that had
- 14:46Speaker 12: just lost their mother. It's time for me to be
- 14:48Speaker 12: that father that I knew I could be. I think
- 14:51Speaker 12: just being that good role model as well, that model's
- 14:54Speaker 12: good behavior in front of them, going to work every day,
- 14:58Speaker 12: coming home and being able to put on a smile.
- 15:01Speaker 12: The biggest reward about being a dad is sitting back
- 15:04Speaker 12: and watching your kids be happy.
- 15:08Speaker 13: Never stop being a dad.
- 15:09Speaker 1: That's dedication. Find out more on Fatherhood dot gov.
- 15:13Speaker 13: Brought to you by the US Department of Health and
- 15:15Speaker 13: Human Services and the AD Council.
- 15:19Speaker 1: And now back to the sports job Dwayne Gandy.
- 15:24Speaker 8: The Jock of the Day is sponsored by Mattress HEROESUSA
- 15:27Speaker 8: dot com the sleep you deserve at a price you
- 15:30Speaker 8: can afford. No, no, no, Now it's time to present
- 15:33Speaker 8: the Jock of the Day on the Sports JOCKSHS taking
- 15:36Speaker 8: it to.
- 15:37Speaker 1: A completely different level.
- 15:38Speaker 8: This year where we highlight an appolete that has taken
- 15:41Speaker 8: their game to the next level.
- 15:53Speaker 4: I'm up to.
- 15:57Speaker 1: The trunk with Switch and last I'm wait back to
- 16:06Speaker 1: this sport shot show. I'm the Sport Shocks Win Gandy.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Good morning to you out there and listening Lane. Glad
- 16:10Speaker 1: to be with you. On this day. We were rolling
- 16:13Speaker 1: right into Christmas. The NFL. Remember, they're going to invade
- 16:17Speaker 1: your Christmas schedule, but they're going to do it in
- 16:20Speaker 1: a big, big way. So two great games for you
- 16:24Speaker 1: on Christmas Day. But we've got time to talk about that.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Let's jump into the Heisman Trophy ceremony that was this
- 16:32Speaker 1: weekend local product out of Collins Hill, Travis Hunter, who
- 16:38Speaker 1: starred at Jackson State for a year and then got
- 16:42Speaker 1: on the road, went out to Colorado only not it
- 16:49Speaker 1: definitely deserves a Heisman Trophy. I think the people that
- 16:55Speaker 1: look at Travis Hunter and this Heisman, they will only
- 16:59Speaker 1: ever be able to bring up more of your competition.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I think that's the only thing that surrounds his Heisman
- 17:06Speaker 1: that you know. And similar to what probably with the
- 17:10Speaker 1: Boise State young man Ashton Genty, where the number one
- 17:16Speaker 1: and two guys in this Heisman Trophy, it wasn't from
- 17:19Speaker 1: the Big Ten, it wasn't from the SEC, It wasn't
- 17:22Speaker 1: even from the ACC. It was from the Big Twelve.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Most people don't know the competition level in the Big twelve.
- 17:31Speaker 1: A lot of those Big Twelve teams have moved on
- 17:34Speaker 1: there in other conferences now. And the only knot would
- 17:38Speaker 1: be when you had that idea, could Travis Hunter, could
- 17:43Speaker 1: Ashton Genty put those kind of numbers up in an
- 17:47Speaker 1: SEC league? Can you play receiver and corner in the SEC?
- 17:56Speaker 1: Can you tackle an SEC running back and then go
- 17:59Speaker 1: and flip over and then try to stop stop in
- 18:03Speaker 1: that sccide receiver. It's kind of for an entire season,
- 18:07Speaker 1: for an entire season, but Travis Hunter as explosive as
- 18:11Speaker 1: we have seen, and most superstars we've seen when they
- 18:16Speaker 1: have been allowed to do this, play on both sides
- 18:21Speaker 1: of the ball, especially if you're a corner. Charles Woodson
- 18:24Speaker 1: did have to go over and run a couple of
- 18:27Speaker 1: snaps and run some kicks back in the punt return
- 18:30Speaker 1: game and to kickoff to bring a different animal because
- 18:34Speaker 1: on the college level, I guess corners are seen more
- 18:41Speaker 1: like closers then they are starting pitchers, right. You know,
- 18:47Speaker 1: you don't actually play the place see their contribution. You
- 18:52Speaker 1: can see the running back, you can see the receiver,
- 18:54Speaker 1: you can see the line. You know tighty ends the
- 18:58Speaker 1: linebacker to the end, but you don't really you see
- 19:00Speaker 1: to say you don't really see the corner.
- 19:03Speaker 5: Because I I did question the stat of four interceptions
- 19:10Speaker 5: and I was like, wait a minute, that's that's Heisman worthy.
- 19:14Speaker 5: And then someone started explaining to me basically that nuance
- 19:18Speaker 5: is that you know, it's one of those positions you
- 19:20Speaker 5: really don't understand the impact until this person has to
- 19:25Speaker 5: actually come in.
- 19:26Speaker 1: And do their things. So, yeah, but Travis Hunter guys
- 19:30Speaker 1: closest race since two thousand and nine. They are saying,
- 19:35Speaker 1: in this situation, do you.
- 19:37Speaker 5: Think the thing that took Travis over the top, And
- 19:39Speaker 5: this is just my opinion, is the fact that he
- 19:42Speaker 5: played the most snaps in the NCAA because and this
- 19:48Speaker 5: is just again for me, the only other two thousand
- 19:52Speaker 5: yard rusher I had the pleasure of actually knowing or
- 19:55Speaker 5: meeting was Jamal Lewis here at Sports Jock Show. It
- 20:00Speaker 5: was then that I found out how rare rushing for
- 20:03Speaker 5: two thousand yards in one season was.
- 20:06Speaker 1: And this even even in college. Yes it's not.
- 20:09Speaker 5: It's not like they just give you the ball and
- 20:11Speaker 5: people stand to the side and you run too and
- 20:14Speaker 5: the fields only one hundred yards.
- 20:16Speaker 1: And now that this dude he did that and people.
- 20:20Speaker 1: One of the things that I thought was.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Unfortunate about the Heisman race is that comparison tried to
- 20:28Speaker 5: almost diminish how great all of these athletes actually were.
- 20:32Speaker 5: Forty five touchdowns, there's a lot of touchdowns throat, and
- 20:36Speaker 5: I was going to say that the young man, most
- 20:39Speaker 5: teams are running back by committee. So for him to
- 20:42Speaker 5: get that many yards, that mean that he was one
- 20:44Speaker 5: of the few that constantly was getting the ball compared
- 20:47Speaker 5: to a lot of other teams, and as Sports John
- 20:49Speaker 5: has said last week was looking at when we was
- 20:51Speaker 5: going this first time in a long time that you've
- 20:54Speaker 5: had non quarterbacks in the top two that were making
- 20:57Speaker 5: a difference as far as what was going on with
- 21:00Speaker 5: the heismand as being the best player in.
- 21:03Speaker 1: College football not just the quarterback.
- 21:06Speaker 5: One of the myths I'm glad that was dispelled was
- 21:08Speaker 5: that it's the Quarterbacks Award number one and two that
- 21:13Speaker 5: the big the university with the most money is the
- 21:17Speaker 5: guy who will win. Because if that were true, it
- 21:20Speaker 5: would have been Dylan Gabriel. Because you can't tell me
- 21:22Speaker 5: that them people ain't got enough money to buy it.
- 21:24Speaker 1: If it's for purchase, so well, and that's and I
- 21:27Speaker 1: will stand on that. I believe that to validate the
- 21:30Speaker 1: Heisman and to validate the UH the other awards like
- 21:35Speaker 1: the Thorpe and the Budkins and the UH Doak Walker,
- 21:43Speaker 1: those the winners of those awards are supposed to be,
- 21:47Speaker 1: in my opinion, your Heisman candidate. Have you always said
- 21:53Speaker 1: that candidates because those are the best, Because you're saying
- 21:56Speaker 1: those are the best preliminary pre awards to the So
- 22:00Speaker 1: that's the pre whatever. Yeah, that's the pool that you're
- 22:02Speaker 1: supposed to be precursor. And the thing Travis Hunter had
- 22:06Speaker 1: above really any of the rest of the field was
- 22:12Speaker 1: that he always had a name, right asking Gent, We've
- 22:20Speaker 1: just found out about his name, Bill and Gabriel, we
- 22:24Speaker 1: just found about his name. We just found cam Moore.
- 22:26Speaker 1: We kind of knew him to bounce around. Travis Hunter
- 22:29Speaker 1: was the number one ranked player from high school from
- 22:33Speaker 1: high school on, so he never had to where all
- 22:36Speaker 1: he had to do was live up to his Sometimes
- 22:40Speaker 1: people if you don't, if you don't already have that
- 22:44Speaker 1: part of it is like being part of something, you know.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Janet Jackson she just had to live up to and
- 22:51Speaker 1: so when she.
- 22:52Speaker 5: Finally did, it was a no brainer to just were here,
- 22:55Speaker 5: passed her the keys and let her drive now because
- 22:58Speaker 5: we've been expecting her to drive this whole time. Anyway,
- 23:00Speaker 5: But we salute you, Travis. Excellent, excellent, excellent year.
- 23:04Speaker 1: The durability that you've shown, my heart goes to just
- 23:09Speaker 1: hope it didn't wear you out, because some punches you
- 23:14Speaker 1: don't feel until the next fight. You know, the effect
- 23:18Speaker 1: of him, So that's the only thing. I hope that
- 23:20Speaker 1: playing all these snaps didn't take a year away in
- 23:25Speaker 1: the future, because you are definitely as talented as a
- 23:29Speaker 1: guy I've ever called in high school. I just call
- 23:32Speaker 1: his games, and he's out done that because somewhere he
- 23:36Speaker 1: got another step. He wasn't as fast as high school.
- 23:39Speaker 1: I don't know what it was. Might have been that mountain.
- 23:42Speaker 5: You know what, it's cleaner he you know, he was
- 23:45Speaker 5: away from my boy. He was away from all them
- 23:48Speaker 5: Collins Hill dudes too. We'll be back more to Sports
- 23:50Speaker 5: Jock Show right after this.
- 23:56Speaker 14: I think you stand under if you don't understand me
- 24:00Speaker 14: in my heart broken by this woman named.
- 24:02Speaker 10: Sarre many boons on me old so I couldn't land Timedy.

- 26:23Speaker 1: the red Zone.
- 26:36Speaker 7: You gotta pre one so.
- 26:39Speaker 17: In the.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Welcome back to this sport Shock show off. This for
- 26:51Speaker 1: Shock and Wayne Gandy. An interesting case coming out of
- 26:56Speaker 1: Duke one that I'm talking about because, uh, in these cases,
- 27:04Speaker 1: when I read him, I'm always kind of like Michael Irvin,
- 27:07Speaker 1: the great Dallas Cowboy, when he was going through his
- 27:11Speaker 1: drama and things that he was guilty of he was
- 27:15Speaker 1: guilty of and things that he was in his and
- 27:17Speaker 1: of he wanted the media to show the same stamina
- 27:28Speaker 1: of his innocence as they did in his guilt his
- 27:34Speaker 1: last time around in some trouble maybe six seven years ago,
- 27:38Speaker 1: when he was saying, you know, when you apologize, you
- 27:40Speaker 1: apologize on the back page. Yes, yes, but when you
- 27:44Speaker 1: attacked me, you first page, first lead story, lead story
- 27:48Speaker 1: of that. And this is centering around the Duke Duke
- 27:53Speaker 1: lacrosse team, the cruiser excuse me cool accuser Crystal Magnum,
- 28:03Speaker 1: who is black, and that part is said from the
- 28:09Speaker 1: reference that that was part of her whole attack on
- 28:14Speaker 1: the Duke lacrosse team. Why yeah, they're reasonry their motivation
- 28:22Speaker 1: and she was black, but now she is for the
- 28:26Speaker 1: first time publicly admitted that she fabricated the story on
- 28:36Speaker 1: Let's Talk with Cat podcasts. But gentlemen, this story, it's
- 28:47Speaker 1: something you almost have to find. Well, can I get
- 28:51Speaker 1: an amen on where you until you said it, sir,
- 28:56Speaker 1: you have to find the story until you said it.
- 28:58Speaker 5: I was taking for granted that had been reported because
- 29:01Speaker 5: I'm what people would call a news file. I watched
- 29:04Speaker 5: the news throughout the day. My TV at some point
- 29:07Speaker 5: is always on a news channel. But that's not how
- 29:10Speaker 5: they reported on it. I had to find it in
- 29:14Speaker 5: the news cycle. It wasn't lead story tonight, the woman
- 29:18Speaker 5: who accused the duke Lacrosse. I don't think it even
- 29:23Speaker 5: made the evening. When the case happened, it was nine
- 29:26Speaker 5: magazines or seeing in every every national news outlet led
- 29:33Speaker 5: with that story.
- 29:34Speaker 1: For two to three weeks. Correct, and yes, hey here
- 29:38Speaker 1: we are twenty eighteen years later. Well, I'm just talking
- 29:42Speaker 1: about the full lack of coverage. But I'm just saying
- 29:46Speaker 1: how That's why I said it up with what Michael
- 29:48Speaker 1: Van was saying, the lack of coverage, that this should
- 29:52Speaker 1: have been breaking news, This should be something that people
- 29:55Speaker 1: are aware of that you remember that case. We had
- 29:59Speaker 1: almost two days where people were making death threats to
- 30:02Speaker 1: those young men. These young men who are grown men,
- 30:05Speaker 1: probably married with children. Now they had to leave school.
- 30:08Speaker 5: They settled with the university for undisclosed amount because the
- 30:11Speaker 5: university sided with the woman. Automatically, they were kicked out
- 30:15Speaker 5: of school. Their lives were ruined. Everything that could possibly
- 30:18Speaker 5: happen to someone wrongly accused has happened to them. And
- 30:23Speaker 5: again a lot of it was because every single day
- 30:28Speaker 5: they ran this story until someone started saying, wait a minute,
- 30:32Speaker 5: where are the accompanying facts? Where is the evidence and
- 30:36Speaker 5: then people start going, well, maybe we should have investigated more.
- 30:40Speaker 1: So that's what stood out with that story when I
- 30:44Speaker 1: read it, just how it was seven eight nine. It
- 30:49Speaker 1: was behind what Aaron Rodgers said this week. It was
- 30:53Speaker 1: behind what OnlyFans athlete had put out, you know, it
- 31:00Speaker 1: was down on the list and what I did not know.
- 31:04Speaker 5: And usually they if it had been someone who had
- 31:07Speaker 5: done something inappropriate as an athlete or something like that, whatever,
- 31:12Speaker 5: like a Michael Vick, everything he did in his life,
- 31:15Speaker 5: they gave you updates on this woman is serving time
- 31:19Speaker 5: for killing her boyfriend, stabbing him to death, and nobody
- 31:22Speaker 5: bought that up.
- 31:23Speaker 1: I didn't know she was in prison has been for
- 31:25Speaker 1: like the last sixteen years. I didn't know that. It's
- 31:29Speaker 1: just just very interesting. The Marshall football team had to
- 31:34Speaker 1: basically bow out of their bowl game. I think we've
- 31:40Speaker 1: had a couple of coaches here talk about it, Lane
- 31:43Speaker 1: Kiffin on that level of coaching talk about the transfer
- 31:49Speaker 1: portal and where it situated when you can leave, and
- 31:55Speaker 1: this is a basically a function that the Marshall head
- 31:58Speaker 1: coach decided to leave Marshall go Southern miss Yes he did.
- 32:03Speaker 1: And with that action and the transfer port transferred portal
- 32:08Speaker 1: open up to twenty five players entered the portal from
- 32:14Speaker 1: his from Marshall. Yes, so the school is basically saying
- 32:19Speaker 1: we ain't got nobody. Well the guys that well, if
- 32:23Speaker 1: I'm transferred portal worthy, most likely I was playing. Yeah
- 32:29Speaker 1: I was. Yeah, so we don't want to just take
- 32:33Speaker 1: any kind of product to the bowl game. Right, And
- 32:35Speaker 1: how many people are on a team? Typically you have
- 32:38Speaker 1: about eighty ninety scholarship at a big university. Okay, so
- 32:45Speaker 1: that's almost three quarters. Well you got to also add
- 32:48Speaker 1: on the senior class. Oh yeah, so if I got
- 32:51Speaker 1: forty five in the portal, I probably had a good
- 32:54Speaker 1: twenty seniors. Right, So that's what see you talking about?
- 32:57Speaker 1: Like half a team, half tea. But I still have s.
- 33:04Speaker 1: I know some people are awesome, man, they can still
- 33:07Speaker 1: go play, but that's not how you want to be
- 33:09Speaker 1: seen on that stage. So, oh, miss coach he's speaking
- 33:13Speaker 1: on this.
- 33:14Speaker 6: He's saying this because I'm just wondering because when he left,
- 33:18Speaker 6: he had a lot of players follow him. And then
- 33:19Speaker 6: there's other coaches that have left, like Oklahoma went to
- 33:22Speaker 6: USC they did the same thing. So I mean, I
- 33:26Speaker 6: just I couldn't understand. I understand that this was a
- 33:28Speaker 6: lot they pulled out there, it was a team last
- 33:30Speaker 6: year they pulled out a bowl game, But I just
- 33:32Speaker 6: didn't really understand that. How can Lane Kiffin really speak
- 33:36Speaker 6: on something like this When he utilizes.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Lane Kiffin, it's saying that the transfer poured the window
- 33:46Speaker 1: is in the wrong spot, that schools need to be
- 33:49Speaker 1: able to complete like a Marshall. You shouldn't be able
- 33:53Speaker 1: to leave Marshall until it's over after the bowl game.
- 34:01Speaker 1: But I mean, I mean, this is nothing new. That's
- 34:05Speaker 1: all I'm saying. This is something well, in my opinion,
- 34:08Speaker 1: all of this is new. I mean, this is this
- 34:10Speaker 1: is not new.
- 34:11Speaker 5: This is this is something that you've normalized because it's
- 34:15Speaker 5: happening so often.
- 34:16Speaker 1: But and every time this happens.
- 34:20Speaker 5: As a person, I mean, I won't go to the
- 34:24Speaker 5: bowl game, but to have forty five I'm talking about
- 34:27Speaker 5: I'm talking about at a critical juncture like this right
- 34:30Speaker 5: before a bowl game. As a person who performs and
- 34:34Speaker 5: books shows, I know how critical it is. Once you've
- 34:37Speaker 5: got sponsors and venues and everything in place to have it.
- 34:40Speaker 1: This is one hundred and ninety nine percent new. All
- 34:45Speaker 1: of it that you did all the work. You don't.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Kids don't even care.
- 34:52Speaker 5: That they go to a bowl, right, I don't even
- 34:54Speaker 5: want to play in the bowl. I just want to
- 34:56Speaker 5: go play somewhere. The ball is for you. It wasn't
- 34:59Speaker 5: for someone Else's not for the next as, It's for you.
- 35:01Speaker 5: And what happens and what happens to the team they
- 35:04Speaker 5: were supposed to play, what happens to the sponsors who
- 35:07Speaker 5: put up all of the money and resources for that
- 35:09Speaker 5: bowl game?
- 35:10Speaker 1: Who gets picked? Now this is totally replacement.
- 35:17Speaker 18: It's one of those situations. And we talked about this
- 35:19Speaker 18: before LOUISIANATAGAS five and seven, and now they're going to
- 35:25Speaker 18: a bowl game. So with with these kind of things
- 35:27Speaker 18: that happen. Now these bowl games have to scratch and
- 35:32Speaker 18: card and find another team to play.
- 35:34Speaker 1: This game where they were even even asked Auburn and
- 35:39Speaker 1: does that even make Auburn alumni basically was like, no, no,
- 35:44Speaker 1: we don't want to do it.
- 35:45Speaker 5: I'm saying now I'm getting ready to marry this girl
- 35:48Speaker 5: and she don't show up and I call and ask
- 35:50Speaker 5: what you do?
- 35:51Speaker 1: It is now nobody wants to go in that capacity.
- 35:57Speaker 1: And this is why they have gotten rid of national
- 35:59Speaker 1: leather intent. I'm just about to a bad producer because
- 36:02Speaker 1: I think he doesn't like Lane Kiffin, and you know
- 36:04Speaker 1: when he doesn't like somebody, he can't see their side.
- 36:07Speaker 1: They are having to roll in these players and put
- 36:10Speaker 1: them on a certain contract because this is totally new.
- 36:14Speaker 1: This is not twenty five seniors leaving or opting out
- 36:18Speaker 1: so they can go to the pros. This is twenty
- 36:21Speaker 1: five players deciding, well, I don't even care that we
- 36:24Speaker 1: did enough to make a bowl game. I'm not even
- 36:28Speaker 1: really I'm gonna go to another team. I'm gonna follow
- 36:31Speaker 1: a coach. And why not move the transfer portal date?
- 36:37Speaker 1: What should like along with moving the transfer portal date back?
- 36:43Speaker 1: Should it be that schools not.
- 36:47Speaker 18: Necessarily they can't contact, but not to like hire the
- 36:51Speaker 18: the if you're hiring a new coach, it's if they're
- 36:55Speaker 18: in a if that school is in a bowl game,
- 36:57Speaker 18: you're hiring them before the bowl game. And now it's like,
- 37:00Speaker 18: is he going to leave now or is he going
- 37:03Speaker 18: to coach the bull game? And now, so, yeah, it's
- 37:07Speaker 18: happened before, but is it is that right?
- 37:11Speaker 1: Well? Is it okay to that kind of thing?
- 37:13Speaker 5: I'm saying there were times you mentioned something about Lane
- 37:16Speaker 5: Kiffin having benefited from what he's complaining about now and
- 37:21Speaker 5: at a time when it was first happening, these were
- 37:24Speaker 5: some one off situations, These were anomalies. These were something
- 37:28Speaker 5: I can't believe this, and now people have seen that
- 37:32Speaker 5: it is just going rampant. A lot of these programs
- 37:35Speaker 5: are going to have to fold if enough of these
- 37:38Speaker 5: kids walk away from the program, and the blame and
- 37:42Speaker 5: the Bowl games will have to fall to in.
- 37:44Speaker 1: A minute because of you. You imagine Colorado if s Dour,
- 37:51Speaker 1: Shiloh and Travis decide not to play the percentage of
- 37:54Speaker 1: people that won't go to the game or.
- 37:57Speaker 5: Watch it, and then and if Colorado decides not to
- 38:01Speaker 5: go at all, then don't nobody want to go watch?
- 38:05Speaker 1: Somebody they've never heard of the Celebration Bowl. Yeah, two
- 38:08Speaker 1: years ago it was big TV. Nobody saw that game, Sir.
- 38:15Speaker 1: This year it wasn't even no ABC SPORTSA won. But
- 38:19Speaker 1: I'm saying nobody went around to see during or care
- 38:22Speaker 1: if Jackson.
- 38:23Speaker 5: State won because during the Celebration Ball they made an announcement.
- 38:26Speaker 5: Tonight ball season kicks off.
- 38:28Speaker 1: We'll be back with more to Sports Duk Show right

- 40:32Speaker 1: The road for us.

- 41:48Speaker 1: I'll sing even canny, welcome back to this woe shop show.
- 41:53Speaker 1: I'm this war shock Wing can do. Good morning to
- 41:56Speaker 1: y'all there listening. Land Monday Night Football Falcons, Raiders, Bears,
- 42:00Speaker 1: Vikings High School Football GPB seven a clock forty Championship Tonight,
- 42:08Speaker 1: North o'cony versus Alan Chadwick, who has been coaching at
- 42:15Speaker 1: Merris since the mid seventies. He's been the head coach
- 42:19Speaker 1: there for forty years the Hits. In nineteen eighty four
- 42:24Speaker 1: he became the head coach at Mary's. Just good football
- 42:28Speaker 1: to watch here. As the state finance we left talking
- 42:30Speaker 1: about Marshall. Marshall basically had to pull out, as they said,
- 42:35Speaker 1: after falling below the roster minimum that was deemed medically safe.
- 42:44Speaker 1: And that's why I was saying, no program can when
- 42:49Speaker 1: you add the young men that were seniors who might
- 42:54Speaker 1: have opted out of this on top of twenty five players.
- 42:58Speaker 1: With the head coach Huff moving on to Southern Myss,
- 43:05Speaker 1: I'm quite sure Southern miss who are on the same
- 43:09Speaker 1: level as Marshall, but I want to get back to
- 43:14Speaker 1: their winning ways, so they might have finally put their
- 43:18Speaker 1: foot down, like we're tired of being where we are.
- 43:21Speaker 1: There was Southern Miss, uh, you know the Brett Farre
- 43:25Speaker 1: of the nineties two thousands. There was Southern Myths. They
- 43:29Speaker 1: were one of those teams that you're gonna beat them, possibly,
- 43:34Speaker 1: but they always had a good ninety three schedule man
- 43:38Speaker 1: something like that. Now they just have fallen completely where
- 43:41Speaker 1: they've to a joke and to the point where a
- 43:45Speaker 1: punchline it's pretty bad and none of it and it's
- 43:50Speaker 1: the impact of the transferred portal. I don't but I
- 43:55Speaker 1: know when I talk, a lot of times people say,
- 43:57Speaker 1: I don't think I'm old school. I just don't have
- 44:01Speaker 1: enough evidence that all of this movement is helping anybody,
- 44:05Speaker 1: because I don't have to the.
- 44:07Speaker 5: Kids that get left at like I wanted to play
- 44:09Speaker 5: in the ball I really did. I've been playing hard
- 44:13Speaker 5: all season. We made the ball. I prayed about it.
- 44:16Speaker 5: I've been getting extra time. I've been doing everything I.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Could to help us win.
- 44:22Speaker 5: And now, because you don't want to be here anymore
- 44:25Speaker 5: as a senior, I don't get my final last ball game.
- 44:29Speaker 5: This is my first bowl game or so it might
- 44:32Speaker 5: be my second bowl game I've had since I've been here.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Which will be the highlight of a lot of those
- 44:37Speaker 1: players' careers. It will be the thing that for some
- 44:41Speaker 1: of them where they first get some real little extra money.
- 44:46Speaker 1: Because when you go to the Bawl, your a little
- 44:48Speaker 1: bowl package. It's kind of like going to the Oscars
- 44:52Speaker 1: and you get to your room. You got shoes and
- 44:55Speaker 1: game boys. Each player gets a certain amount of little money.
- 45:01Speaker 1: All that that goes and get cash out an envelope.
- 45:06Speaker 1: And so now you're saying a program where people don't
- 45:09Speaker 1: get that. Uh. And and I know the people in
- 45:12Speaker 1: our society. Remember as I told you last show, we're
- 45:16Speaker 1: not good people. We're selfish. Selfish first thought is us
- 45:22Speaker 1: and what we want people. It's something wrong with our
- 45:26Speaker 1: genetic codes as humans. Most of the problems in the
- 45:30Speaker 1: in the world is totally based on I want it all.
- 45:34Speaker 1: I don't want to share. I don't care about yours
- 45:37Speaker 1: as long as me and mine is good.
- 45:39Speaker 5: It's sports, I would disagree. It's it's it's not that
- 45:44Speaker 5: I want it all, it's that you want some. That's
- 45:46Speaker 5: the problem. So that's the problem, is that you want some.
- 45:49Speaker 5: I mean me wanting it all isn't a problem. It's
- 45:52Speaker 5: that you want some of it. And that's what makes
- 45:54Speaker 5: it an issue.
- 45:54Speaker 1: And so when you look at this, as you said, Kenny,
- 45:57Speaker 1: you're talking about some players that stayed there, did all
- 45:59Speaker 1: the work. I don't care if it's the practice squad
- 46:01Speaker 1: guys or the guys that didn't start. They gave you,
- 46:05Speaker 1: they practiced against you in the highlight of your life.
- 46:08Speaker 1: I went to two bowls in my and I can
- 46:10Speaker 1: remember them. The Hall of Fame Bowl when I was
- 46:13Speaker 1: a freshman at Auburn and we played here in Atlanta
- 46:16Speaker 1: when I was a sophomore at the Peach Bowl, and
- 46:21Speaker 1: it was nice trips. And I know kids are a
- 46:23Speaker 1: little more I guess worldly as far as traveling. But
- 46:28Speaker 1: back then, you know, we stay in a hotel room
- 46:30Speaker 1: and all the room, all the room service you want,
- 46:33Speaker 1: and you know, move around the city and things like that.
- 46:36Speaker 1: So I can imagine thirty five years ago to now,
- 46:40Speaker 1: you know, and I got what.
- 46:44Speaker 5: So to me, it's just, you know, it's a shame,
- 46:47Speaker 5: it's a it's it's it's something.
- 46:50Speaker 1: It's an unintended consequence, I would say of trying to give.
- 46:53Speaker 1: You should not be able to transfer until your team
- 46:58Speaker 1: is officially done with that season. Now you cannot play
- 47:05Speaker 1: for us in the bowl game, yes, but that should
- 47:08Speaker 1: be your only option. But that should be your only option.
- 47:11Speaker 1: Same thing with the young kids from high school. Juju
- 47:14Speaker 1: lewis who I said will be on Wednesday night chasing
- 47:18Speaker 1: a championship. He also will leave Atlanta probably Friday or Saturday,
- 47:24Speaker 1: and he will go to wherever Colorado is playing their
- 47:27Speaker 1: bowl game and he will practice with the team as
- 47:31Speaker 1: though he was part of the team for the bowl game.
- 47:37Speaker 1: That shouldn't be part of it either. Early admitting should
- 47:41Speaker 1: be for the next team. Juju didn't do anything for
- 47:47Speaker 1: the twenty twenty four Buffalo's Didy.
- 47:49Speaker 13: No.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Now, he signed the contract, he signed the scholarship, So
- 47:54Speaker 1: why is he at bowl practice? He on the team now?
- 48:00Speaker 1: I'm still waiting on him to graduate. And that's the
- 48:04Speaker 1: thing is like, what have you done? I know, as
- 48:07Speaker 1: a player, what are you doing here? You had nothing
- 48:12Speaker 1: to do with this right, earn your way to here? Yeah?
- 48:18Speaker 1: Why am I standing out in the midfield for the
- 48:20Speaker 1: twenty ten Auburn tine and won the national title? I
- 48:25Speaker 1: went out there with cam then? So why did anybody
- 48:30Speaker 1: see him Heisman night? Yeah? Did you see him?
- 48:35Speaker 25: No?
- 48:35Speaker 1: I did not. I saw that yet. Is it different
- 48:39Speaker 1: than all the rest of the wear?
- 48:40Speaker 13: It was?
- 48:41Speaker 18: It was special for it was a it was a
- 48:42Speaker 18: cowboy hat and it had the heisman logo on.
- 48:47Speaker 2: Brand?
- 48:49Speaker 4: Did you do that?
- 48:50Speaker 1: It was thought? Everyone else stood there in their suit.
- 48:55Speaker 1: I believe you believe that. As we go to broke break,
- 48:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna pull up a picture. I mean everybody come
- 49:01Speaker 1: to everybody do they own wine pants? And a lot

- 51:54Speaker 19: Fight.
- 52:09Speaker 1: Welc back to this what Shock show. I'm the what
- 52:11Speaker 1: Shock wing Candy, Good morning, tell you. Congratulations to Travis Hunter,
- 52:15Speaker 1: the twenty twenty four Heisman Trophy winner. The Colorado Buffalo's
- 52:20Speaker 1: are supposed to play I think in the Alo Mobole
- 52:23Speaker 1: on December to twenty eighth and Travis Chador Shiloh in
- 52:28Speaker 1: that senior class say they're gonna stay around and play
- 52:32Speaker 1: bad doing the break bad bad producer. I really came
- 52:36Speaker 1: up with a if the Hawks season ended and Trey
- 52:43Speaker 1: Young's contract ran out this season, they didn't make the playoffs,
- 52:49Speaker 1: should a team that make the playoffs be able to
- 52:54Speaker 1: just sign Trey Young right then and start playing in
- 52:58Speaker 1: the playoffs. That's tough because it's a professionalist contracts. Money's involved.
- 53:07Speaker 6: If he's free, yeah, I mean if it's having a
- 53:11Speaker 6: did that before, where like teams have cut someone in
- 53:14Speaker 6: baseball right at the deadline or cut someone so they
- 53:16Speaker 6: could be able to know.
- 53:17Speaker 1: I didn't say it, no headline. I said that the
- 53:19Speaker 1: regular season is over, the season over. Nah, we ain't
- 53:22Speaker 1: doing it then, deeming that the regular season is season over. Yeah,
- 53:25Speaker 1: season over. You ain't put nah, and your contract got
- 53:29Speaker 1: season over, but he can't go. The signing date to
- 53:32Speaker 1: go to another team is after the playoffs. We can go,
- 53:35Speaker 1: I mean after the playoffs, after the season whatever, if
- 53:38Speaker 1: that team. It's the same thing we're saying here as
- 53:40Speaker 1: the three of us are trying to get you to understand.
- 53:42Speaker 1: When you're talking about leaving teams, you're not part of
- 53:45Speaker 1: that team. Why do you get to go join that
- 53:47Speaker 1: team because you're season over and you didn't go where
- 53:52Speaker 1: you want it and now you want to move on Now.
- 53:55Speaker 6: I don't think the Southern miss wasn't going to a
- 53:57Speaker 6: bowl game. I don't think those guys are trying to
- 53:59Speaker 6: go down there following the coach.
- 54:02Speaker 5: But but the team that he left, they were but
- 54:08Speaker 5: he but he's not there to lead them, and so
- 54:11Speaker 5: the players probably feel like our leaders not here, So
- 54:14Speaker 5: who's going to lead us?
- 54:15Speaker 1: Right right right right right right right right. He should
- 54:17Speaker 1: not have access to those players, right. So I'm saying,
- 54:21Speaker 1: because that's been going on, denou, it's a problem that
- 54:25Speaker 1: it has not been going on. Man, Why do you
- 54:28Speaker 1: keep saying that two or three years of something is
- 54:31Speaker 1: not being going on?
- 54:32Speaker 5: But it's two years of it that if I've seen USC.
- 54:36Speaker 5: The coach that left and went to USC did the
- 54:39Speaker 5: same thing and.
- 54:39Speaker 1: It was no problem. Nobody made a big deal out
- 54:42Speaker 1: of it last year. As they're doing it happen. Nick
- 54:45Speaker 1: Saban said something last year. What they got to do
- 54:50Speaker 1: something about it? Then let's stop it.
- 54:52Speaker 4: They are.
- 54:53Speaker 1: That's how you do something about something, You speak on it.
- 54:56Speaker 1: That's the first block to starting to do something about it.
- 55:00Speaker 1: We'll speak on it. Well until then, they can't say nothing.
- 55:02Speaker 1: But that your absence of acting like you don't understand
- 55:05Speaker 1: what the people are saying is the part that insults me.
- 55:09Speaker 6: I understand what they're saying, but I'm not hearing it
- 55:12Speaker 6: because you ain't did anything about it. Now all of
- 55:14Speaker 6: a sudden, my man Lee Marshall, he going down to
- 55:16Speaker 6: do his thing, and.
- 55:17Speaker 5: It's a problem when when when he left USC, did
- 55:20Speaker 5: he take thirty five players with him?
- 55:22Speaker 1: He took enough. You took something. It doesn't the number
- 55:27Speaker 1: sent them out you taking they did.
- 55:29Speaker 5: They have to cancel any I've had a couple of players,
- 55:32Speaker 5: but they came later. They wait, sir, wait, and I'm
- 55:38Speaker 5: not I'm not arguing with you. I'm not arguing either.
- 55:41Speaker 5: You kind of are No, I'm just you. Just argue
- 55:44Speaker 5: with me about arguing. I'm just saying it.
- 55:47Speaker 1: Just argue with me about you arguing I'm not.
- 55:50Speaker 5: My point is that this system, the way that it
- 55:54Speaker 5: is set up, is sacrificing people's effort who have no desire,
- 56:00Speaker 5: who give up, who have no desire to relinquish their position,
- 56:04Speaker 5: who have no desire to not show up and compete.
- 56:07Speaker 5: These people ready to do their job, and you, because
- 56:11Speaker 5: you want to not be where you are now because
- 56:14Speaker 5: it didn't work out how you thought it should have,
- 56:17Speaker 5: are going to deny them that. And the NCAA is
- 56:20Speaker 5: in support of that.
- 56:22Speaker 1: So it was the forty nine ers guy, what's his name?
- 56:24Speaker 1: Do you? Deve Andre Campbell?
- 56:26Speaker 27: Was he?
- 56:26Speaker 28: Was?
- 56:26Speaker 1: He right? He got suspended for three games? No, I
- 56:29Speaker 1: asked you what he got suspended? Who cares about that?
- 56:32Speaker 1: That's on him in his pocket. I'm talking about why
- 56:36Speaker 1: you think those other players for the forty nine ers
- 56:38Speaker 1: wanted to take hands to him for not helping and
- 56:41Speaker 1: finishing the game that was nine to six and we're
- 56:45Speaker 1: out here trying to win and you want to quit.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Quit that's how you You sound like how he is like, oh,
- 56:54Speaker 1: well when I want to forget you because if I'm
- 56:58Speaker 1: at Marshall, I wanted to go to the boat, Kenny,
- 57:00Speaker 1: I wanted to go. I've been here, over here, I
- 57:03Speaker 1: got on the team, I made myself or got into
- 57:05Speaker 1: a scholarship. I walked on, walked on. I wanted to
- 57:09Speaker 1: go to the bowl game. But because you need to
- 57:12Speaker 1: do whatever you need to do, we all have to suffer. Well,
- 57:15Speaker 1: it's forty five of them.
- 57:16Speaker 6: It seemed like a democratic pop that they all made
- 57:20Speaker 6: a vote, or they decided to we're all gonna go together.
- 57:23Speaker 6: We're leaving at this time. I mean, at some point,
- 57:26Speaker 6: it ain't like it was teen it was apparently it
- 57:28Speaker 6: was enough. I know they left.
- 57:30Speaker 1: It's wrong.
- 57:31Speaker 6: But at the same time it's been to me it
- 57:34Speaker 6: hadn't been a problem. N it's a problem all of
- 57:37Speaker 6: a sudden.
- 57:37Speaker 28: You not.
- 57:38Speaker 1: You fell asleep. That wasn't a problem until it was
- 57:41Speaker 1: a problem a week later. You come drunk. That wasn't
- 57:46Speaker 1: a problem until I know what drunk is. Broh, You
- 57:49Speaker 1: functionally drinking right here. You came to my show smelling
- 57:52Speaker 1: like alcohol. Insulting me? No, No, I ain't gonna tell
- 57:56Speaker 1: me if I'm insulting or not. I'm saying I was.
- 57:59Speaker 1: Are you're gonna tell me if I'm insulted or not?
- 58:01Speaker 1: Did I come into my gym and spell your alcohol?
- 58:08Speaker 1: So you understand these people because you have no loyalty
- 58:12Speaker 1: except to you. It ain't that just stories where it's
- 58:18Speaker 1: someone he likes. Then that person Scottie Pippen did so.
- 58:23Speaker 1: I don't even know the coach that went to Southern
- 58:25Speaker 1: miss but it says bragging the Big Kenny because he's black.
- 58:30Speaker 5: And it seemed like that's the problem because of the
- 58:33Speaker 5: black coach has did this and now it's a problem.
- 58:37Speaker 1: It wasn't before one another.
- 58:39Speaker 5: Don't drag me into that part of it. My problem
- 58:42Speaker 5: is that this man leaving is not my problem. My
- 58:47Speaker 5: problem is that after this man left thirty five from
- 58:51Speaker 5: his team, but it's we're allowed to abandon that.
- 58:56Speaker 1: Then they dogged him and show after it is the
- 59:03Speaker 1: musk trust the bus? How you making one of the
- 59:05Speaker 1: sounds the bus to dust?
- 59:07Speaker 8: They love me just because I'm in the Glado laughing
- 59:11Speaker 8: like Ricky Mercado.
- 59:14Speaker 7: Joh't bo away Or of the Sports Jock Show with
- 59:16Speaker 7: Wayne Dandrius coming up next.
- 59:19Speaker 8: And now let's talk about something exciting life insurance. Three
- 59:22Speaker 8: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 59:25Speaker 8: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 59:29Speaker 8: life insurance.
- 59:30Speaker 20: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 59:32Speaker 20: just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Life insurance was the last thing on my mind. What
- 59:37Speaker 1: about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 59:40Speaker 20: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 59:42Speaker 20: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 59:44Speaker 20: survive without me. That's what I'm made an appointment with
- 59:46Speaker 20: the insurance informant.
- 59:47Speaker 8: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 59:50Speaker 8: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 59:52Speaker 20: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 59:55Speaker 20: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 59:57Speaker 8: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 59:59Speaker 8: whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: need is the insurance informat to help you build a
- 1:00:04Speaker 8: foundation of security. Because without you, your family will have
- 1:00:07Speaker 8: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:00:12Speaker 8: Log on today benefits or bills dot com? That's benefits
- 1:00:16Speaker 8: or bills dot com.
- 1:00:19Speaker 29: My simple solution to the problem was remove people from
- 1:00:24Speaker 29: the scene and help them feel safer.
- 1:00:26Speaker 25: In response to attacks against Asian Americans, Maddie Park raised
- 1:00:30Speaker 25: over two hundred and fifty thousand dollars to donate camp
- 1:00:33Speaker 25: rights to the Asian community.
- 1:00:34Speaker 10: There is so much more work to be done. We
- 1:00:37Speaker 10: really need to come together and tackle this issue as
- 1:00:40Speaker 10: a community.
- 1:00:41Speaker 25: Support the Asian community. Learn how at Love has No

- 1:00:58Speaker 1: And we hold the world ransom for excuse me while
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: I whipped this out shore broadcasting live and it leda Georgia.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: This This is the Sports Shock Ship with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: You biga, you lean up, dang, can you bring me
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: down again?
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: Flank me down, comes to comes to conject, get them,
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: comes to mark.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: It's just.
- 1:01:28Speaker 25: I'm gonna do it.
- 1:01:29Speaker 21: Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: You Till Vegan, Welcome back to the Sport Shock Shot.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: I'm the Sportshock Wayne Candy. Good morning to you out
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: there listening man. Glad to be here with you.
- 1:01:39Speaker 16: Uh.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: It was a great weekend in sports. Uh. The Heisman
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: Trophy was given to Colorado's Travis Haunter, our first time
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: in thirty years someone from Colorado has one of the
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Heisman Trophy in a long time since a quarterback wasn't
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: at the top of the leaderboard and winning this award.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: Navy beat Army this weekend as one of the big
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: games Celebration Bowl happened. Jackson State twenty eight, South Carolina
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: State seven, So Jackson State finally getting that national title
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: that eluded them during the days of a Dion, but
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: bringing it home this year. Deve Andre Campbell quit mid
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: third quarter the other night for the forty nine ers
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: forty nine ers in a tight, rainy game against the Rams.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: This was big news going into the weekend. Young man
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: who played here in Atlanta for a year of two,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: just deciding he would not go into the game, left
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: the field, went into the locker room, and left the stadium.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: It would be interesting. The biggest about this would be
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: to see if any of the other thirty one teams
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: ever trust him to bring him in. Cambell is about
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: thirty thirty one years old, so he's still young enough,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: but it'd be easy to I mean, it'd be interesting
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: to see if anyone will trust that kind of move.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: David I'm sorry.
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: Yeah, they got rid of him from the They suspended him,
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: suspended him for basically for the rest of the season,
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: which is probably their protection that nobody picks him up,
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: and that's why that's cutting in.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: They're going to make sure he doesn't get to go
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: play for someone's desperate. But the forty nine Ers lost
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: twelve to six. This was a tight game. His reigning
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: game points hard to come by, but just very interesting. Now,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: we did see Vonte Davis, the cornerback for the Bills
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: maybe a five years ago, decide at halftime when they
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: went into half he didn't feel like playing anymore. A
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: little different in that situation. Same you know fruit, it's fruit,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: but different fruit is that at least at half, the
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: coaches can make an adjustment, right, have a little time,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: wante you own to play? Okay, well, you move here
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: and this is the coverage. We're going to start playing
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: for it to be mid third, and then I go
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: to call you to go in. The linebacker Greenlaw, Drake
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Greenlaw got hurt. I said go switch, get him out,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: and you won't go in. Now, I don't have any
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: time to scatter to try to figure out what to
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: do where to move people, so a little different because
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: people ask me what was the difference. It's just a
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: deciding first of all, for all you people out there
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: that swore that the NFL with slavery obviously is not obvious.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: As I said, when the Kaepernicks and everybody wants to
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: swear to the NFL, you can leave it anytime. Because
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: if it was slavery, this would have been one of
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: them situations.
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: I would have been like, remember you, yeah, I mean,
- 1:05:19Speaker 5: because that would have been a bullwhip situation right here.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: I don't want to go back out on the plantation.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: I wish you would get back down there, boy. And
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: I would tell.
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: People, you know, you can quit really and people act
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: like you couldn't quit. Whenever you quit, you ain't even
- 1:05:34Speaker 5: got to quit at the end of the game. You
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: can quit like right now and walk away. That's exactly
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: how free you are in the NFL.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: Yeah, that that is basically how it works now. After that,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: like I'm saying, the forty nine ers took their time
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: because someone in the higher ups would want to make
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: sure he's stuck at least the rest of.
- 1:06:01Speaker 18: This season, like uh, because the story came out that
- 1:06:06Speaker 18: John Lynch, he's the GM, like he confronted Devondre Campbell
- 1:06:11Speaker 18: about this, So I feel like it was just I
- 1:06:14Speaker 18: don't know if there was like much to talk about
- 1:06:17Speaker 18: as far as what to do, like, Okay, we don't
- 1:06:20Speaker 18: want to reward him by cutting him and letting him
- 1:06:23Speaker 18: go to another team. So I feel like it was
- 1:06:27Speaker 18: just like if there was some kind of conversation about it,
- 1:06:30Speaker 18: it was very short to just send him home.
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: I'm not really known many situations where general managers actually
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: get into some sort of verb.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: He's a player exactly, and it's a difference.
- 1:06:46Speaker 5: What I'm saying, though, is the infraction warranted the response
- 1:06:51Speaker 5: anytime you are you serious?
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: Are you serious? Now?
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: Not only are you offending me as a general manager,
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: but as someone who played and low often was great
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: at this game.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: We asking you to do your job, dumb, I'm saying,
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: we asking you.
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: To do your and I'm asking where is this new
- 1:07:13Speaker 5: found my worth is more than what we not earned.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: And the thing that the key in that is your job.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: Meaning we didn't ask you to go in and play
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: running back. No, no, you understand, I didn't ask you
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: to go run some something that is not I sent
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: you in the play linebacker. That's what you came here.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: I looked on your job. When we drive your resume,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: it said lineback, line back. When we got you, I
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: sent you in there. You don't want to do that.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: And the thing I think with John in the new
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: sense of football is that since there is no loyalty,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: as the bad producer has shown us today on the show,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: there is no loyalty, then you have to protect yourself.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: I tell you in my rookie year, when Keith Cants
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: did this in that age, walking out on one team
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: in this instance, walked out on the league. So you
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: could let Keith McCants go, knowing that the other thirty teams,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: I'm not gonna pick him up for some fraction like that,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: whereas now we know these desperate teams they don't have
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: any loyalty. You to cut him thieves midshipmen, doesn't matter that.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: Y'all can scratch that thieves part out. You know. It
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: ain't between the congress men or the pastor non period. Yeah,
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: put a period at the end of that sentence. But
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: very interesting this young man would choose that route. As
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: I said Fonte Davis, we saw it with the d
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: on Deontay Johnson that his name for the Ravens. Yes, yeah,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: about two weeks ago. The receiver he wouldn't go in
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: the game right for them as well.
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: So just.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: Very interesting. And I'm saying weird live under that cloud
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: because that would be just as much as winning a
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: Heisman would be. Some people always remember that's what you
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: always be, your tagline, the risk say man, you.
- 1:09:26Speaker 18: Know he put on You know you've heard the stories
- 1:09:30Speaker 18: like with the little sprinkles of Antonio Brown wants to
- 1:09:34Speaker 18: come back? And what the last time we saw Antonio
- 1:09:39Speaker 18: Brown on the field, he was walking off of it
- 1:09:42Speaker 18: and he was walking off and is this.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: Part of the over correction.
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: There was a time when, like you said, they swore
- 1:09:50Speaker 5: that and they used words like the NFL was slavery,
- 1:09:54Speaker 5: and then all of a sudden, these athletes are starting
- 1:09:57Speaker 5: to take their power back.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: And now you just being ridiculous with the taking your
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: power back. I mean, I get it.
- 1:10:03Speaker 5: Don't let anybody just mistreat you and treat you like
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: a piece of property. But if you filled out the
- 1:10:09Speaker 5: application and accepted the job when they and you clocked in,
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: this ain't like we called you at home.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: The time clock running come on man, you already addressed,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: give us our eight hours. We're paying you. I don't know.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: This is a great time to seize the moment and
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: go in and show you, you know, make your valuable man.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Very interesting. The new guys are interesting. Story coming out
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: of Carolina. Eric Moles, the great Eric Moles Buffalo Bills.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: He has been accused and there is a case pending,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: accused of intentionally infecting women with an STD. I have
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: to follow this case. It just came out a couple
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: of days ago. Eric Moles longtime receiver, one of the
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: great receivers that Buffalo ever had, just in that era
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: where they wasn't winning, kind of right after all the
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Super Bowls. Eric came in because he was there with
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: around the time. Think I got in League ninety four,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: maybe he got in like ninety five that area of
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: the bullet bills. But young lady, a couple of young
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: women have accused him of passing them herpes intentionally, and
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: I guess the intentional would be more that you know
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: you have you know you have it, and you did
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: nothing to prevent me from right, didn't tell me or
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: you didn't take it upon yourself to prevent both both.
- 1:11:47Speaker 5: You didn't tell me so I could take precaution and
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: you didn't take any precautions. And now I have it
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: that was willful, deliberate and intentional. VI can sound like
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: I can just drop the gevel. Yeah, go ahead, that's
- 1:11:59Speaker 5: what it is.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: I mean now, and I could get me one and
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: you know you want to cross examination? Oh no, no,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: I want to just drop the cap. She got him
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: to That's what I'm saying. She got him some nomn
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: get it. We'll see how this turns up with Eric Moles.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: But it seems that even uh one of you young
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: ladies is more new, but two or three were people
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: he had done had past relationships with.
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: Okay, wow, So we will see Eric. We'll be more
- 1:12:34Speaker 5: to Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 1:12:44Speaker 12: Twenty step up that.
- 1:12:49Speaker 7: John bow A Wayne Bore of the Sports Josh Hill
- 1:12:52Speaker 7: with Wayne Dandy is coming up next.
- 1:12:55Speaker 13: In sitcoms, when someone has a problem, they just blurted
- 1:12:58Speaker 13: out and move on.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Well, I lost my job and my parakeet is missing.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: How is your day?
- 1:13:06Speaker 13: But the real world is different. Managing life's challenges can
- 1:13:09Speaker 13: be overwhelming.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: So what do we do? We get support?

- 1:15:38Speaker 1: the refrigerator Perry is sixty two. Uh. I know the fridge.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: Look at the league now and think he was small.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: He was just a fridge because he was big at
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: the time. At the time, now you can't even play
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: the position. They call him a college refrigerator, dorm refrigerator. Now,
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: if you ain't got three three bills, you can't even
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: get open center. You have to win three hundred pounds
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: to be a nose tackle. Yeah, you know had them
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: dudes like six eight three hundred in high school. The
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: high school, I said, you was high school, dude. But
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: the fridge definitely was a marketing success back in the
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: days with the Bears sixty two years old. JB. Smooth
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: fifty nine years old. Is the comedian Crockett. What's his name, right,
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: Miami Vice? Don Johnson, Yeah, it's seventy six years old.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: Is Don Johnson. Ranne Harrison should make the Hall of

- 1:16:45Speaker 1: the Great Manager, is eighty one. Brad Pitt sixty one.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: Christina Aguilera is forty four. And we've been knowing these
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: ladies so long it seemed like they should be older.
- 1:16:58Speaker 5: But you have to remember she was nine when she
- 1:17:03Speaker 5: came on to say she was nine years old.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: She's forty four years old. The Great Steven Spielberg is
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: seventy eight. Stone Cole Steve Austin is sixty years of age.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: What was his move? His finishing move the stunner stone,
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: the stone cold stun That's gotta get your finished move,
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: because I'm quite sure that's what the wrestler's first mindset is. Right.
- 1:17:29Speaker 5: If you've ever watched What is Your Finishing If you've
- 1:17:32Speaker 5: ever watched them talk about developing wrestlers, that's one of
- 1:17:35Speaker 5: the looks.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: You don't have to have a signature finishing move. The

- 1:18:21Speaker 1: Commanders is twenty four, and Katie Holmes is forty six
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: years of ages. Katie Home she was on Dawson's Creek.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: As she started with Dawson's Creek.
- 1:18:34Speaker 5: It's Katie Holmes, big Kenny little work here, a lot
- 1:18:38Speaker 5: of selections. I'm clocking in for innocence, Katie Holmes, he said,
- 1:18:43Speaker 5: for innocence. Yeah, Dawson's creek. Were just gonna dip toes
- 1:18:47Speaker 5: in the water. Jack just gonna sit on the pier,
- 1:18:49Speaker 5: just dip I toes in the water. Maybe have an
- 1:18:52Speaker 5: ice cream bar and talk about our future. That's what
- 1:18:55Speaker 5: we're gonna do.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: Speaking of wrestling, former running back out of Georgia was
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: able get a year in with the Carolina Panthers Elijah
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: holy Field sign A Vander holy Field made his debut
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: last week in the w w E, so he has
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: gotten into wrestling. We were talking about that. Elijah's I
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: don't what do you think is finishing move would be
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: holy the ear bite?
- 1:19:22Speaker 5: No, that's what he now, but you gotta take it
- 1:19:25Speaker 5: and flip it though, you know he grab them by
- 1:19:28Speaker 5: the ear and lift.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: I don't know, man, would his finishing move be?
- 1:19:33Speaker 5: I mean, and I'm surprised that he's wrestling now and
- 1:19:37Speaker 5: like twenty eight, twenty nine, okay, because I was going
- 1:19:40Speaker 5: to think he might try some of the other avenues
- 1:19:42Speaker 5: of football like Canadian League or something like that.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: But even for them, he's a little long in the
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: tooth for a football player. And the thing is the
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: wrestling world, when you look at a lot of your
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: legendary wrestlers they were all high school and college level
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: football players. Yes, they were a lot of that is
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: you already have that explosion in the body type. Yes,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: you know that whole demeanor is built through makes sense
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: sports like football and wrestling and hockey. You know, you
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: rarely hear about Oh he used to play basketball. He
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: was a baseball player. But those football guys look like
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: they're ready. Goldberg, I know we got the Rocky Rock
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: rock Lesnar, the Reins. What was the real muscular here, Goldberg,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: not gold Bird other than Tony that was part of
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: the four Horsemen, he's real. He was the one that
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: was Lex Luger, Lex Luger, Yeah, he I think he
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: might even play for the Bengals a year or two.
- 1:20:55Speaker 6: Like you found a lot of you remember, like even
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: like big Ernie Cat, the Big Cat, those guys.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: And Dusty Rose was a college football Rick Flair then
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: played at Minnesota Southern State with no.
- 1:21:07Speaker 5: Small college where it was real baby, but you couldn't
- 1:21:12Speaker 5: just walk on the Texas Southern State man.
- 1:21:16Speaker 6: Yeah, the boys played at Minnesota. Rick Flair and I
- 1:21:18Speaker 6: think one of the mother cousins of the Anderson brothers.
- 1:21:21Speaker 6: They played like in Minnesota because they all from up
- 1:21:23Speaker 6: in that area.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: And hey, once you see the success some like the
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: Rockets had, man, I go out here for a couple
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: of months. If I got it too, if I could
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: be the people's champ and yeah, with the people's elbow,
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: you can smell making cooking. Uh and twelve thousand dollars
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: old cool dozean young lady. Last week she paid twelve
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: thousand dollars to get her eyes permanently change of color.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: She went from brown to blue. The procedure that you
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: can get your eye color changed.
- 1:22:10Speaker 5: Permanently, permanently, or you could just buy colored contacts and
- 1:22:15Speaker 5: switch your mouth. You know day you can do grand
- 1:22:19Speaker 5: save yourself about eleven grand.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: She says she tried the change of contacts for the
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: last fifteen to twenty years, and she just got tired
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: of having a change of And so.
- 1:22:30Speaker 5: I'm gonna just let somebody stick a tattoo needle in
- 1:22:33Speaker 5: my eyeball. It makes more sense. It makes more sense.
- 1:22:36Speaker 5: I suppose things people think about.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: And because you have to think about that, and I'm
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: always I think she had it out in California. I
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: can look it up. I don't know where she's from.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: It's U l Ku as her first name.
- 1:22:53Speaker 5: I'm always more specific than people say. I can't believe
- 1:22:58Speaker 5: you came up with an idea like that. I'm not
- 1:23:00Speaker 5: surprised by the ideas that run through people's heads. It's
- 1:23:03Speaker 5: the fact that you manifest that idea, like you thought
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: about it and was like, Okay, I'm gonna do that
- 1:23:09Speaker 5: like most people think of goofy stuff. I want blue eyes,
- 1:23:12Speaker 5: and I'm gonna ask somebody tattoo my eyeball blue. And
- 1:23:15Speaker 5: then you go, no, I'm gonna just go get my
- 1:23:18Speaker 5: hair done.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 1:23:19Speaker 16: You money Little Wayne in the music jab, I make
- 1:23:24Speaker 16: it now, I'm making slowly, I'm making it out of it.

- 1:26:17Speaker 1: shock show up the Sports Shock Wayne Candy, Good morning
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: to you. Once again. We haven't jumped into the NFL
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: too much yet, Producer, Do you and Jared have a
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: bet tonight?
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: Man, I'm trying to get one, but he's I put
- 1:26:32Speaker 6: it out there. Kenny did not put it out there
- 1:26:35Speaker 6: with him him Antoine. I saw Antoine this week. I said, hey,
- 1:26:38Speaker 6: what you want? He he was talking something else. He
- 1:26:41Speaker 6: didn't even want to talk right.
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: Raiders Falcon tonight Monday night football. So maybe by game
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: by kickoff you scared? Just like I said.
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: He are Antoine my two favorite Raiders and you know,
- 1:26:55Speaker 6: Jared my twins, so you know, I get you.
- 1:26:57Speaker 5: Know, you know, Destriers starting, So m hmm. I would
- 1:27:02Speaker 5: feel like they would want to put some money. We're
- 1:27:03Speaker 5: gonna put Michael Phoenix in the game. Michael Phoenix will
- 1:27:08Speaker 5: beat Jared's Raiders tonight that I thought, I'm sorry, but
- 1:27:15Speaker 5: he's not gonna start, but he'll be in the game.
- 1:27:18Speaker 15: I just know it.
- 1:27:19Speaker 6: I just got a feeling because Raheem said this week
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: that Kirk's Kirk's job. We're gonna put Pennicks in when
- 1:27:25Speaker 6: we need to get him ready, when it's his time.
- 1:27:27Speaker 6: To me, that's that's club talk.
- 1:27:29Speaker 28: I call that.
- 1:27:30Speaker 6: You don't want to say that you're ready to put
- 1:27:32Speaker 6: him in, but you just try to prevent from your quarterbacks.
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: So you're predicting a bad game from Kirk. No, I'm not.
- 1:27:40Speaker 6: I'm just saying that we're gonna have to do something different.
- 1:27:43Speaker 6: If he throws more two interceptions in the first half.
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: Well then you're predicting a bad game. I said that word.
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: Two things can be true, okay, but one can't happen
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: without the other. Right for me to put Michael Pennix
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: in the game means that means that Kirk Cousins must
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: be having a bad game or you wanting to get hurt.
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: Because he gets in the game and throws three touchdowns
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: in the first quarter, They're not gonna let Michael. So
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: that's why I say, Michael Pennick, I said, you said,
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: Michael Penni's going in the game.
- 1:28:15Speaker 6: I said, second half, if Kirk is if Kirk does
- 1:28:18Speaker 6: something that he if he does that, you you you
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: want him in the game.
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: So you want Kurt to get hurt. I don't want
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: Kirk to get hurt.
- 1:28:27Speaker 12: I don't.
- 1:28:30Speaker 4: I don't.
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: Really acting like a cousin right now. We need him to.
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: He's not straight, he's being like a cousin. Truly. What
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: do you think Michael Pennix is gonna do different than Kirk? Well,
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: he's gonna first thing, he's gonna be gonna come in.
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: And they hadn't prepared for him, because I know Antonio coach.
- 1:28:48Speaker 6: Antonio probably hadn't prepared Rob Ryan Rex's brother Ryan.
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: They had They hadn't even thought about him.
- 1:28:54Speaker 6: He had been on the radar because, like I said,
- 1:28:57Speaker 6: if I was the coach, I've been smart enough listening
- 1:28:59Speaker 6: to Heim said, no, we're not playing him, he's not
- 1:29:02Speaker 6: coming in the game.
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: And then Michael Penix gets in the game, he throws
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: two interceptions. What happens mm hmm. It was the third guy.
- 1:29:11Speaker 6: Now, I mean it's Hey it's this game. We got
- 1:29:14Speaker 6: to give him a chance. Man, It's just you know,
- 1:29:17Speaker 6: he gets to start. He came in on a relief
- 1:29:20Speaker 6: part of it, and we are already had a bad
- 1:29:23Speaker 6: vibe going.
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: He's just gonna try to change, you know, I'm saying.
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: I'm saying because just like if you.
- 1:29:28Speaker 6: Look at when Georgia we were down to Texas, the
- 1:29:31Speaker 6: new man came in. It changed everything, a new vibe.
- 1:29:34Speaker 6: So it's all we want is a new vibe. Okay,
- 1:29:36Speaker 6: and we let him in.
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: Gunner.
- 1:29:38Speaker 6: Gunner came in and we let you go for Carson
- 1:29:40Speaker 6: Becks and we let him Carson Beck was I thought
- 1:29:42Speaker 6: Carson Beck got hurt.
- 1:29:44Speaker 5: Yeah, but he did, sure, I'm saying. And they put
- 1:29:47Speaker 5: say Michael Pennix gets in to change the.
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: Lost. Hey, I'll tell you right now, boy, we was
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: headed to lose that game.
- 1:30:00Speaker 5: The question was if you put the new vibe in
- 1:30:04Speaker 5: and the new vibe throws two interceptions, you just keep
- 1:30:08Speaker 5: that him vibing out like that. You said, we gotta
- 1:30:11Speaker 5: roll with him and see where he goes.
- 1:30:15Speaker 6: We're gonna be all right. And y'all about to play Desmond. Okay,
- 1:30:20Speaker 6: we already know about Desmond here from the Atlanta.
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: I don't know who he's talking about. Well, how do
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: you know how Desmond is gonna play tonight? We saw
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: that here he might be juiced up to play the Falcons.
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: I've seen players that did not play well in one city.
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: Sam Donald looked like they need an m v P
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: trophy in Minnesota. Shake and bank, shake and bake, get
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: some of that Jews. Then I hope you got some
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: good'll make you reversity?
- 1:31:00Speaker 30: What was saying Matt though before that it's the only
- 1:31:03Speaker 30: place he's been in Minnesota, So we'll see.
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: But but Michael Pennis going in tonight.
- 1:31:15Speaker 6: If if if IF coach if cousins, if our cousin
- 1:31:19Speaker 6: is playing like acting like a cousin tonight?
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I think sometimes like I would like to maybe
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: what does that mean? Maybe maybe before the season is over,
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: I would like to actually sit down. I almost like
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: to have a free seminar with Falcon fans that think
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: they know football, and I would like to watch a
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: game with them like we do it practice and show
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: them that as much as they think this guy is
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: throwing the ball is the issue. Oh he's not the God.
- 1:31:53Speaker 6: Hold on, now, you gotta make your mind up and
- 1:31:55Speaker 6: I know I said he didn't play. I know he
- 1:31:57Speaker 6: don't play defensive defense. Was acting up last. I wasn't
- 1:32:00Speaker 6: even gonna talk about the defense. So now you just
- 1:32:03Speaker 6: cutting me off, trying to finish my sitting. Well, I
- 1:32:05Speaker 6: thought you were not run DMC, but you said you
- 1:32:08Speaker 6: were saying that Kurt don't do it. And I've heard
- 1:32:10Speaker 6: you say that we always want to blame the quarterback
- 1:32:12Speaker 6: when he doesn't play other positions.
- 1:32:14Speaker 5: He only playing one position. So let me move on
- 1:32:17Speaker 5: because you you're doing that thing where you have just
- 1:32:20Speaker 5: disturbed the show.
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: Philadelphia winning yesterday twenty seven to thirteen over the Uh
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: the stealers man has broke my total or I just
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: want to almost feel take my minutes back back. See
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: I'm doing I'm gonna echo you back back. But the
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: foulon not the falcons? Who are ons?
- 1:32:51Speaker 5: He like he's dealing with the worst producers, like a
- 1:32:55Speaker 5: daily brush with death.
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. You just gotta pull yourself together.
- 1:32:59Speaker 5: For two three minutes, we almost went off that cliff
- 1:33:02Speaker 5: bro I know we offer we just opened to survive. Yeah,
- 1:33:08Speaker 5: but yeah there's Stillers lost to the Eagles yesterday. Yes
- 1:33:12Speaker 5: they did in the Battle of Pennsylvania, the Bucks riding
- 1:33:15Speaker 5: high over the Chargers out in LA good game forty
- 1:33:19Speaker 5: to seventeen.
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: Baker may Field, who didn't play well.
- 1:33:22Speaker 5: At a lot of other stops, Some about Tampa seemed
- 1:33:26Speaker 5: like he's some about Tampa got him shaken back.
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: Something got him. I don't know what it is down
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: at that hot weather in the Sunshine State, but they're
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: an explosive offense.
- 1:33:35Speaker 5: No commercials out of Baker. I don't see him on
- 1:33:38Speaker 5: no commercials. He just went and games he sold, you know,
- 1:33:40Speaker 5: no insurances. Yet he got a regular house. It's not
- 1:33:43Speaker 5: a whole stadium.
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: He don't be cooking in the concession stand forty to seventeen.
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: The Bucks lost four games in a row and Downy
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: won four games in a row. Put a lot of
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: pressure on the Falcons to have to win out. As
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: I said, said the folks are eight and six. I
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: think at worse they're going to be ten and seven,
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: and to match that, the Falcons are going to have
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: to win out to have a chance in this game.
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: Dallas beating up on Carolina thirty to fourteen. I'm only
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: mentioning that because commands Greg is a cowboy fan y'all
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: got hope. We're still in the hunt. You gotta win.
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: You gotta win out of whatever that means. We're still
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: in the hunt. But I just won't. We need a
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: lot of help. I just worry about it.
- 1:34:34Speaker 5: I just want my kids to believe in me the
- 1:34:38Speaker 5: way Dallas fans believe in them.
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: You see what I'm saying. They don't never show up
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: and they still be like he coming thirty two, twenty five,
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: The j Ets Chats, Jets chets beat up on the Jaguars,
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers having a huge day, him and DeVante Adams.
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: Ann Rodgers during the week going back and forth with
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: a lot of ESPN commentators, mainly Ryan Clark, where he
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: was just kind of pointing out he misses the old days.
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: When I read the article, it was kind of like
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: Rogers and Rogers is saying the Sports Center and sports
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: talk shows you should just be the highlights. And now
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: they have become seeing inn in a sense, they only
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: talk about the negative. They don't ever try to punctuate
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: the positive, and they just harp on stuff they ain't
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: got nothing to do with sports.
- 1:35:33Speaker 18: Different point it may it may have something to do
- 1:35:36Speaker 18: with sports, but it'll be like, oh, he's not playing
- 1:35:39Speaker 18: very well.
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: Well, why y'all talking about I'm not playing? Well, what
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: are we supposed to talk? Say you are playing? Would
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: you read the comments? Yeah, I read the comments.
- 1:35:51Speaker 6: I thought, well, And then they went in to say
- 1:35:54Speaker 6: that talking about he gets a million the show to
- 1:35:57Speaker 6: come on to come ont McAfee show.
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: What does that have to do with?
- 1:36:02Speaker 6: Even with him and during the week, and the comments
- 1:36:06Speaker 6: say it's gone turn into a whole thing. But my
- 1:36:09Speaker 6: take on it is I and then I thought it
- 1:36:12Speaker 6: was fun with Aaron Rocke for somebody. A lot of
- 1:36:15Speaker 6: these guys on the shows is talking. Nobody remembers their name.
- 1:36:18Speaker 6: They really never did anything. So what do you think
- 1:36:21Speaker 6: about that? Because I see a lot of the players
- 1:36:23Speaker 6: that have did a lot of great works, it's on
- 1:36:25Speaker 6: these shows.
- 1:36:26Speaker 5: I don't a lot of that. I don't put at
- 1:36:29Speaker 5: the I don't put at the feet of the broadcasters.
- 1:36:36Speaker 5: Broadcasters provide a service. People who provide services only sell
- 1:36:42Speaker 5: what people are buying. You go into a restaurant and
- 1:36:46Speaker 5: they they're offering you a trash dog and a seven
- 1:36:51Speaker 5: shot to keep a drink.
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: It's only because people were willing to buy that kind
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: of stuff.
- 1:36:56Speaker 5: So there was a time when the highlights used to
- 1:36:59Speaker 5: excite us, and then we want to start criticizing people's
- 1:37:03Speaker 5: girlfriends and asking how did this owner end up in
- 1:37:07Speaker 5: this place with this politician, And so the media was like,
- 1:37:11Speaker 5: nobody's watching the top ten plays anymore. We got to
- 1:37:15Speaker 5: insert that somewhere deeper into the show. That used to
- 1:37:17Speaker 5: be why we tuned in, And you missed one of the.
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers politics as a well, a lot of them
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: are coming at the time.
- 1:37:23Speaker 5: I'm saying, it used to be a time nobody cared
- 1:37:26Speaker 5: about Aaron Rodgers politics. And now you're willing to say
- 1:37:29Speaker 5: that people will turn away from watching football because this
- 1:37:32Speaker 5: man has a decision about how he wants to vote.
- 1:37:36Speaker 5: That's not sports anymore. That's not traditional sports fans.
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: And I thought he went on Pat McAfee because that
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: was his boy. He was trying to help him with
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: his show up. That's what it is, trying to get
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: his ratings on. My second thing is I always thought
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: that Aaron Rodgers is an old quarterback, and when you
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: get old quarterbacks, the rest of your team has to
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: be very good. If not, you're not gonna really get
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: the effect of that old quarterback. I don't. I think
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: that's all I When I watch these shows that turned
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: me off, they continue to talk about certain people like
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers. Not if he was twenty seven, you should
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: go at him like that. He's forty one, forty one
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: years old. Other people got to pick up the slash,
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: Guy Gonna.
- 1:38:19Speaker 5: Jordan Love, you got a hall of them guy, My
- 1:38:21Speaker 5: most forty one year old quarterbacks are broadcasting now right home.
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: We'll be back with more than Sports Jock Show right
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: after this.
- 1:38:29Speaker 14: See you gotta rewind me. I'm high up on the line.
- 1:38:32Speaker 14: You could get behind me, but my head so big
- 1:38:35Speaker 14: you can't sit behind me. Light up of doll lights.
- 1:38:39Speaker 14: Keep lawing, coming in the club with that fresh down
- 1:38:42Speaker 14: with something crazy on my arm.
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: And here's another hit debby.
- 1:38:47Speaker 7: Bombs John Boy Wayne Bard of the Sports John Show
- 1:38:52Speaker 7: with Wayne Dandy is coming up next.
- 1:38:57Speaker 21: Are you prepared for an emergency or disaster? Because it's
- 1:39:00Speaker 21: not a matter of if, but when. Don't find yourself saying.
- 1:39:04Speaker 16: When the storm rolls in, my time to find a
- 1:39:06Speaker 16: pet friendly evacuation center, will have run out.
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: The scorching heat bay. Believe me, powerless to cool my insulin.
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: I'll face a hurricane without mets. Now that's a tough
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: pill to swallow.

- 1:41:31Speaker 1: Back to this worts Shock Show. I'm in this sport
- 1:41:33Speaker 1: shock Wing Candy. I one thing I forgot to mention
- 1:41:36Speaker 1: doing that Jets win over the Jags. Ann Rodgers was
- 1:41:40Speaker 1: the leading rusher and that don't sum up the totality
- 1:41:48Speaker 1: of what's going on. That's what I'm going on with
- 1:41:50Speaker 1: the team that Aaron Rodgers had forty five yards Russia.
- 1:41:54Speaker 5: Now, now this a man that his entire career in
- 1:41:58Speaker 5: Green Bay had a thirty two yards Russian his entire
- 1:42:02Speaker 5: career in green Bay.
- 1:42:04Speaker 1: He was in green Bay forty seven years. On a
- 1:42:06Speaker 1: bad day, Aaron Rodgers still should not have more rushing
- 1:42:10Speaker 1: yards than Bryce Hall. I don't know what happened starting yeah, yeah,
- 1:42:15Speaker 1: on a bad day, a bad running day for Bryce
- 1:42:17Speaker 1: Hall should be forty five yards. Ye implorable. He showed
- 1:42:22Speaker 1: up at work drunk. Ought to be forty five y'all.
- 1:42:27Speaker 1: Washington Mystic owner Sheila Johnson very delusional, Shila, I must
- 1:42:34Speaker 1: say just my opinion to you, your owner team. You're
- 1:42:37Speaker 1: a powerful woman, but you're very delusional. You're drinking a
- 1:42:40Speaker 1: lot of the kool aid that haters drink, and they
- 1:42:46Speaker 1: distort their view on life based on their hate and
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: how they want it to be. How you want it
- 1:42:53Speaker 1: to be and how it is sometimes can be different.
- 1:43:00Speaker 1: I would love for what to be sunny and about
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: eighty seven right now. It's not. It's gloomy. Looks like
- 1:43:08Speaker 1: we in Seattle in the spring. I see on spring
- 1:43:13Speaker 1: day in Seattle but your comments about Caitlin Clark and
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: how Time Magazine should not have given Caitlan Clark the
- 1:43:23Speaker 1: Woman of Your award, and the WNBA has arrived on
- 1:43:27Speaker 1: its own and it's not Caitlin Clark. Your delusional. The
- 1:43:34Speaker 1: numbers don't lie. Fever come to your town. It's a sellout.
- 1:43:41Speaker 1: Fever don't come. People don't know that you even have
- 1:43:45Speaker 1: a game tonight. That was the reality of this past
- 1:43:49Speaker 1: WNBA season. That is the truth. And sometimes the meteor
- 1:43:56Speaker 1: don't come every year. The NBA numbers are down because
- 1:44:04Speaker 1: nothing fresh has come. The media called Lebron has come.
- 1:44:10Speaker 1: The media stepped, but they don't have any new We've
- 1:44:13Speaker 1: talked this year before the season. Yes, the NBA needs
- 1:44:17Speaker 1: a new media to come by here in Atlanta next Monday.
- 1:44:22Speaker 1: Ant Man come to town. He's gaining a little bit,
- 1:44:25Speaker 1: but he needs some more help. Where is the new
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: the KD effect and all those got that has won
- 1:44:30Speaker 1: off Russell Wilson, James Harden. That's not a draw to
- 1:44:34Speaker 1: draw people as it was once was. We got to
- 1:44:39Speaker 1: hope that killed the kid, Shake killed Gishi and ant Man.
- 1:44:46Speaker 1: But it's time because we've seen and I'm like, but
- 1:44:49Speaker 1: it was just Caitlin. Caitlyn came to Atlanta. They needed
- 1:44:54Speaker 1: state farm. Angel Reaes came to Atlanta. They could stay
- 1:44:57Speaker 1: in their regular confines. Not about talent, people, It's about game.
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: We've talked about this how many times? You talk about
- 1:45:07Speaker 1: it a lot. It's about the game. It's a lot.
- 1:45:12Speaker 1: Michael Jordan got in a shoe, just like when Julius
- 1:45:14Speaker 1: irving certain people. He got in a shoe and they
- 1:45:17Speaker 1: made it. They promoted it that if you get this shoe,
- 1:45:22Speaker 1: you can be Mike. You're gonna hang so long in
- 1:45:25Speaker 1: the air. When Shaq came along with this shoe, you
- 1:45:29Speaker 1: just gonna dunk hard. Well, that's not really appealing to
- 1:45:33Speaker 1: the seven year old. I want to do that air thing, right,
- 1:45:38Speaker 1: you know. I get the ball and I jump and
- 1:45:40Speaker 1: I just stay up there long and then I dump
- 1:45:43Speaker 1: when I want to. I want to do that. I
- 1:45:44Speaker 1: don't want to do this turn around. That ain't the
- 1:45:48Speaker 1: shock game is not interesting. The Spurs and all the
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: great winning that the Spurs did right right, but they
- 1:45:57Speaker 1: found people found it to be a boring team. Well
- 1:46:01Speaker 1: it was.
- 1:46:01Speaker 19: It was.
- 1:46:02Speaker 1: It was boring.
- 1:46:02Speaker 5: I mean, wasn't It wasn't overly excited you're passing the
- 1:46:05Speaker 5: ball with two hands and then and then sending solid pitics.
- 1:46:10Speaker 1: Yeah, and what what what.
- 1:46:12Speaker 25: Kind of.
- 1:46:14Speaker 1: Layups and stuff and making free throws? Yes? Where is
- 1:46:19Speaker 1: the dominique Caitlyn Clark game? It's what is the only
- 1:46:25Speaker 1: difference between her and Angel Reese. It's the same impact
- 1:46:31Speaker 1: as far as what it can do for a team.
- 1:46:34Speaker 1: Both games can push their teams to win a championship.
- 1:46:39Speaker 1: But it's just the style. Angel Reese is coming in
- 1:46:44Speaker 1: with the Tim Duncan and she is come. Caitlyn Clark
- 1:46:50Speaker 1: is coming in with the Steph Curry had. Is that
- 1:46:56Speaker 1: I can't get any simpler than that. Like the one,
- 1:47:00Speaker 1: it's a big fundamental right and the other people they
- 1:47:04Speaker 1: really want Steph to pull up. You ain't never seen
- 1:47:07Speaker 1: nobody the opposing fan base comes to see this man
- 1:47:14Speaker 1: warm up. I have a question. Nobody does that. They
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: all hawked down to his end so he can shoot
- 1:47:22Speaker 1: the ball from the seat, sir, not even a legal shot,
- 1:47:28Speaker 1: but they do. You remember when the dude do you
- 1:47:31Speaker 1: remember when the guy who owned I think it was
- 1:47:33Speaker 1: the Clippers had a private what he thought was a
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: private conversation with his girlfriend about bringing those black guys
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: to the game and that what he thought was private
- 1:47:50Speaker 1: conversation was released and he was forced to sell his team.
- 1:47:53Speaker 1: This is the owner of a w NBA team correct saying,
- 1:47:57Speaker 1: y'all tripping on this white girl time. Y'all should have
- 1:48:02Speaker 1: never gave her that some white girl were straightfolk. She
- 1:48:05Speaker 1: came along.
- 1:48:07Speaker 5: Ain't nobody even said that was wrong. Ain't nobody came
- 1:48:11Speaker 5: to her, and so you should be talking like that that.
- 1:48:13Speaker 1: That erodes the morale of the lead.
- 1:48:17Speaker 5: Where is the outrage in all of these people being
- 1:48:20Speaker 5: reversed racist against Caitlin Clark. People have flat out said
- 1:48:24Speaker 5: to this girl, you don't deserve your accolade because you white.
- 1:48:27Speaker 6: Question you think that because Caitlyn said what she said,
- 1:48:30Speaker 6: that she gave the black girls that credit up, I'm
- 1:48:34Speaker 6: not she should have never just know like she should
- 1:48:36Speaker 6: have just said.
- 1:48:37Speaker 1: Hey, I am what I am and not given that. Well,
- 1:48:40Speaker 1: the owner, this is not about her comments. The owner
- 1:48:42Speaker 1: is saying she didn't.
- 1:48:44Speaker 6: But I'm saying the owner is using those taking those
- 1:48:47Speaker 6: comments that gave the owner.
- 1:48:48Speaker 5: I'm not asking I'm not doing about what made the
- 1:48:52Speaker 5: owner said. I'm saying, where is the general y'all made
- 1:48:56Speaker 5: this man sell his team. This woman doesn't say it
- 1:48:59Speaker 5: something racist and that this girl don't deserve it because
- 1:49:03Speaker 5: she's white.
- 1:49:03Speaker 1: But I'm saying if Caitlyn would have possibly never.
- 1:49:05Speaker 5: That has nothing to do with it. I ain't talking
- 1:49:07Speaker 5: about what Caitlyn Donald Sterling in that movie.
- 1:49:10Speaker 1: V Steviani didn't even say nothing that it ran with.
- 1:49:19Speaker 19: You Home with Me.

- 1:54:42Speaker 1: other night. Yeah, in the game, a lot of people
- 1:54:45Speaker 1: took the opportunity to get on him. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:54:51Speaker 5: You you too busy picking out your outfit. You need
- 1:54:55Speaker 5: to be running your route.
- 1:54:58Speaker 1: Logett uh Is from Carolina has put people onto raccoon.
- 1:55:04Speaker 1: That's nothing. But I've been telling you all about the
- 1:55:07Speaker 1: recipe for raccoon for a while. Well, and you're gonna
- 1:55:11Speaker 1: let him take your work, your side of the street
- 1:55:16Speaker 1: back when he was in elementary. You tell me right,
- 1:55:20Speaker 1: just salt the butter.
- 1:55:21Speaker 5: Now, you can't let the butter melt all the weight,
- 1:55:24Speaker 5: Let it get a little soft. Yeah, you have that
- 1:55:27Speaker 5: whole rest of what you want to do. Soak it
- 1:55:29Speaker 5: in cold water. That pull all of that bitter taste out.
- 1:55:32Speaker 5: You gave me all of it that you get that
- 1:55:34Speaker 5: gave me this.
- 1:55:35Speaker 1: That's what you call it. You don't want that garbage
- 1:55:38Speaker 1: can y. You want to taste it, You want you
- 1:55:41Speaker 1: want to soak and soak it out.
- 1:55:42Speaker 5: Right now now now that river water snail sis taste
- 1:55:50Speaker 5: still stay.
- 1:55:51Speaker 1: But you wash the garlic. Yeah, but you kill that coon.
- 1:55:55Speaker 1: He's up in a tree and you don't you know,
- 1:55:57Speaker 1: you know, got him tree don't let make y'all think
- 1:56:01Speaker 1: it's some new going on. And I've been putting on
- 1:56:04Speaker 1: new Raccoon the delicacy, and now what does he made
- 1:56:07Speaker 1: a cookbook out of it? How is he now?
- 1:56:09Speaker 5: The raccoon guy? Well, people like talking to him because
- 1:56:13Speaker 5: he's the accent draws. It's drawing.
- 1:56:20Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:56:21Speaker 18: And so they asked him about They asked him about Thanksgiving,
- 1:56:25Speaker 18: and he was excited that his cousins told him like, yeah,
- 1:56:29Speaker 18: we got we got some raccoon's.
- 1:56:30Speaker 1: He says, also he squirrel, so rabbit, little rabbit too.
- 1:56:35Speaker 1: I give you, I give you the possum. Listen now
- 1:56:39Speaker 1: the possums. I'm with him. So what I'm hearing is
- 1:56:44Speaker 1: a lawsuit sports even.
- 1:56:48Speaker 5: Because I got the recipes, the recipes, there's no cookbook yet,
- 1:56:53Speaker 5: so there's still time for the sports track to happen.
- 1:56:56Speaker 1: The Raiders player Charles Snowden h tried the bad producer technique.
- 1:57:03Speaker 1: We got d u I. He was passed out in
- 1:57:05Speaker 1: the car with the car running, so I guess he
- 1:57:07Speaker 1: got in the car thought well, I'm good.
- 1:57:12Speaker 5: For some heat and didn't realize that that's called operating
- 1:57:19Speaker 5: the vehicle under the influence. But was he on the
- 1:57:22Speaker 5: private property though.
- 1:57:23Speaker 1: Was he not on that long?
- 1:57:24Speaker 6: He ain't on the hoghways if you sit at the
- 1:57:26Speaker 6: wrist stop. But if you had a rest stop and
- 1:57:29Speaker 6: he was.
- 1:57:29Speaker 1: He was on the side.
- 1:57:32Speaker 5: And and and this is what I'm going to say
- 1:57:34Speaker 5: about not knowing things you just said, if he was
- 1:57:37Speaker 5: at a rest stop. I have a friend, a personal friend,
- 1:57:41Speaker 5: who just served about three weeks in a Pennsylvania jail
- 1:57:45Speaker 5: because he was driving through that state and decided to
- 1:57:48Speaker 5: pull over the rest stop and take a nap after
- 1:57:51Speaker 5: he had been performing and had had a couple of drinks.
- 1:57:53Speaker 5: He was sleep in the car with the engine running
- 1:57:56Speaker 5: because of cold in Pennsylvania at night, and he won't
- 1:58:00Speaker 5: up to the highway patrol at his window at the
- 1:58:03Speaker 5: rest stop, Sir, roll the window down. But I thought
- 1:58:07Speaker 5: that he was operating a vehicle under the end.
- 1:58:09Speaker 1: The rest stop is put there for you to rest.
- 1:58:12Speaker 1: How did you get here, trunk guy? How'd you get
- 1:58:15Speaker 1: to this rest stop?
- 1:58:16Speaker 5: They're also out in the middle of places that are
- 1:58:19Speaker 5: between destinations, So how did you get to the rest
- 1:58:22Speaker 5: must have been on that western part over by Harris.
- 1:58:24Speaker 5: But that's irrelevant. That's irrelevant. I'm saying you're saying it's
- 1:58:28Speaker 5: not possible. I'm telling you it's against the law, and
- 1:58:30Speaker 5: you will go to jail as my friend did. How
- 1:58:33Speaker 5: did you get to the rest stop drunk to take
- 1:58:35Speaker 5: this nap if you didn't drive here.
- 1:58:40Speaker 1: We keep trying to tell you that when they tell
- 1:58:43Speaker 1: you roll down that window, that is not going to
- 1:58:45Speaker 1: get you out of that ticket or being arrested.
- 1:58:47Speaker 6: Right now, I'm not going to roll the wind down
- 1:58:49Speaker 6: a little slide it through. You only roll the wine
- 1:58:51Speaker 6: down so far. You ain't got to roll it down
- 1:58:52Speaker 6: all the way. It's at certain states, or or we
- 1:58:56Speaker 6: could just sleep in a bed instead of in our
- 1:58:59Speaker 6: car after we've been drinking.
- 1:59:00Speaker 1: Well and before we go. If something is certain states,
- 1:59:04Speaker 1: then you shouldn't say it that way. You should let
- 1:59:07Speaker 1: people know. Just better off because you don't know when
- 1:59:11Speaker 1: the state law changed. A lot of people don't keep
- 1:59:15Speaker 1: up with laws like that. Usual happened in July first
- 1:59:21Speaker 1: in Joel.
- 1:59:23Speaker 5: You'll be trying to tell them, man, say if it's
- 1:59:26Speaker 5: less than an ounce, or they be like whatever, sir,
- 1:59:29Speaker 5: just lower your head.
- 1:59:30Speaker 1: You don't hit it on the door.
- 1:59:32Speaker 5: That's what you want to Yeah, twenty two, you're talking
- 1:59:35Speaker 5: about less than an hour. It's been criminalized, criminalized. Now
- 1:59:39Speaker 5: any amount can take you to jail. And now you
- 1:59:42Speaker 5: locked up.
- 1:59:42Speaker 1: And we are in.
- 1:59:43Speaker 2: The truth is he will throw your in the ocean.
- 1:59:50Speaker 2: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports Junk Show.
- 1:59:54Speaker 1: It's Wayne. When you're the sounds of this ocean. It
- 2:00:15Speaker 1: gives the swatch out just a minute to vent. Remember
- 2:00:17Speaker 1: Monday Night football the Falcons and Raiders tonight. Also the
- 2:00:21Speaker 1: Bears in the Minnesota Vikings tonight. A nice high school
- 2:00:27Speaker 1: game if you have time as well. Maybe those games
- 2:00:30Speaker 1: are blowouts. But Marriage North o'coney tonight, Milton and Langston
- 2:00:36Speaker 1: Hughes tomorrow night, and on Wednesday. You guys check me
- 2:00:39Speaker 1: out GPB seven o'clock, no matter where you are. Congratulations
- 2:00:44Speaker 1: once again to our man Travis Hunter for taking home
- 2:00:47Speaker 1: the Heisman Trophy. Last week we talked about the great
- 2:00:53Speaker 1: one Bill Belichick becoming a head coach at North Carolina. Well,
- 2:00:57Speaker 1: the Great Keishawn Johnson decided to week up on the matter,
- 2:01:02Speaker 1: and that's why we got around to the ocean. Keishawn
- 2:01:05Speaker 1: Johnson says that Bill better a check, better hire some
- 2:01:09Speaker 1: black coaches if he plans on turning around the program, Keishaw,
- 2:01:17Speaker 1: that's old testament. We're in the New Testament. Mama don't
- 2:01:22Speaker 1: care nothing about GPA, what graduate classes you off? Mama
- 2:01:30Speaker 1: want to know what the nil hidding fault. She don't
- 2:01:35Speaker 1: care what the coaches staff. You ain't gotta have no coaches.
- 2:01:37Speaker 1: She wants to know what the nil hitting fault. That's
- 2:01:40Speaker 1: all she want to know. That's it. North Carolina State
- 2:01:44Speaker 1: say they got two million dollars on the nil? What
- 2:01:46Speaker 1: you got, That's all she ain't. She ain't counting coaches.
- 2:01:49Speaker 1: She don't care what kind of anything. That's old testament
- 2:01:55Speaker 1: where you went to school and we cared about whether
- 2:01:58Speaker 1: your son was gonna be said and have the right personality.
- 2:02:03Speaker 1: Nobody don't care about that. Ju Ju Lewis is not
- 2:02:07Speaker 1: going to Colorado because he thinks somebody can help him
- 2:02:10Speaker 1: be a better man. He's going for the Maypawk that
- 2:02:15Speaker 1: should do it. Left and the driveway to conduct the
- 2:02:20Speaker 1: three million dollar KF C N I L D. That's
- 2:02:25Speaker 1: that's what I feel. I'm sorry, keith, I know what
- 2:02:27Speaker 1: you're talking about. When me and you went to college,
- 2:02:29Speaker 1: you went in there man coach day show made me
- 2:02:32Speaker 1: feel like he was gonna teach me to be a man.
- 2:02:35Speaker 1: I need to know what this nil hitting folk. I
- 2:02:38Speaker 1: work the rest of it. I figured out along. I mean,
- 2:02:42Speaker 1: I ain't tripping on being no man. I like a
- 2:02:44Speaker 1: softer set and he's only color. You see, it's green.
- 2:02:46Speaker 1: You feel me. I like a softer sent anyway, And
- 2:02:50Speaker 1: with two million extra dollars, I can get me, get
- 2:02:53Speaker 1: me one of those. So for that keishun it used
- 2:03:07Speaker 1: to be. I'm going to Auburn now at National signing. There,
- 2:03:13Speaker 1: everybody say we gonna to author teens on Change keeps
- 2:03:18Speaker 1: Shine from the Sports Shop show. Come on you, Greg
- 2:03:21Speaker 1: mc kenny, the bad producer. We'll see you later in
- 2:03:23Speaker 1: the week. Peace,
