- 1:51Speaker 1: twenty five whistles. We'll talk to Larry Fitzgerald. Coming up
- 1:54Speaker 1: more importantly, we'll talk to read moret Im. That's the star. Yes,
- 1:59Speaker 1: read our old buddy read who that people have demanded
- 2:01Speaker 1: that we talk with the Reid. Okay, so I want
- 2:04Speaker 1: to start with a couple of things, one sports thing,
- 2:05Speaker 1: one not sports thing. Kurt Signette did sign back with Indiana.
- 2:09Speaker 1: He's not gonna go to Pin State. He's not gonna
- 2:11Speaker 1: go to anywhere else about twelve million bucks a year.
- 2:14Speaker 1: So I'm surprised to see him say I thought he
- 2:17Speaker 1: would go. It's not like he has a massive love
- 2:19Speaker 1: for Indiana. He's been there year and a half. But
- 2:22Speaker 1: I think he sees the big ten he can win
- 2:24Speaker 1: there and they're gonna pay him twelve million bucks a year.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Signette is gonna stay and not go to Penn State,
- 2:28Speaker 1: which I found to be interesting.
- 2:30Speaker 5: Kevin, You, yeah, same, And that number is high. I
- 2:33Speaker 5: was looking that would make him, what the third highest
- 2:35Speaker 5: pace highest paid coach. But yeah, I'm very surprised that
- 2:38Speaker 5: he's staying with them, especially the highest. There's gonna be
- 2:40Speaker 5: some jobs opening.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Let me guess the highest. Okay, I'm gonna guess it's
- 2:43Speaker 1: Kirby Smart yep. Second, do you want to guess again? Yeah,
- 2:50Speaker 1: Caitlin de boor No, where's he fall?
- 2:55Speaker 5: Seven?
- 2:56Speaker 1: Mm hmm okay, i'ly to take one more. Guess it's
- 3:00Speaker 1: going to be sec or Big ten. I would think.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I don't think it's going to be Ryan Day. I
- 3:08Speaker 1: don't think it's going to be Dan Lanning. So that's
- 3:11Speaker 1: Ohio State and Oregon. I don't Brian Kelly l s
- 3:17Speaker 1: U noh Dan Lanning?
- 3:20Speaker 5: No, who is it Brian Day?
- 3:22Speaker 1: Oh?
- 3:22Speaker 5: Really?
- 3:23Speaker 1: Yeah? They get in for like a few bucks.
- 3:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I know, I'm spresident. And then third will really
- 3:28Speaker 5: surprise you. What Lincoln Riley?
- 3:31Speaker 1: That makes sense. I'd pay a bunch for him to
- 3:33Speaker 1: get out of I mean the money.
- 3:34Speaker 5: I guess you're like, yeah, it's USC and Lincoln Riley.
- 3:36Speaker 1: But the winds It's like, yeah, well listen, they may
- 3:39Speaker 1: actually make a run at it this year. They may
- 3:41Speaker 1: actually make the tournament.
- 3:42Speaker 5: Yeah, big one this week.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Notre Dame. Yeah, where would you rather play? USC or
- 3:47Speaker 1: Notre Dame if you got the play ball in one
- 3:48Speaker 1: of the Oh you say that's easy.
- 3:51Speaker 5: Notre Dame.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Oh you've said if you're a Southern cow guy, I
- 3:54Speaker 1: thought he'd say USC as well.
- 3:56Speaker 5: Yes, No, I grew up. Actually, like I've never liked USC.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I picked Notre Dame as well because I feel like
- 4:02Speaker 1: it's a bigger deal there. USC. You're one of seven
- 4:06Speaker 1: thousand teams and you're six hundred and thirty eighth on
- 4:09Speaker 1: the list. Because college sports not really not really the
- 4:14Speaker 1: show in Los Angeles or New York or the Northeast.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Like if you're going to go and you know, playing
- 4:19Speaker 1: the Midwest or in the South, the Southeast, that's where
- 4:21Speaker 1: if you're a big man on campus, you're kind of
- 4:23Speaker 1: big man everywhere. Yeah, so I hate the cold, so
- 4:26Speaker 1: I had to factor that in.
- 4:27Speaker 5: Yeah that's surprised.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Yeah, me too. I was surprised too. And when I
- 4:30Speaker 1: picked it up, I was like, right after you picked it, yeah, like,
- 4:32Speaker 1: how about me?
- 4:33Speaker 3: Who's the favorite in California?
- 4:35Speaker 5: Like the biggest USC? Yeah, they're like the most Yeah,
- 4:41Speaker 5: the biggest fan base. Yeah yeah, USC UCLA is the
- 4:44Speaker 5: little brother.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Yeah. What other teams are then?
- 4:47Speaker 5: For they were they had their little run with Harbaugh
- 4:50Speaker 5: and that was about it. And then there's cal State, Fresido.
- 4:54Speaker 5: State's a. You know, they're an underdog that everyone likes.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Have you seen the car Brothers and their probably cast on.
- 5:02Speaker 1: David and Derek Carr do a podcast together, and I
- 5:04Speaker 1: was watching clips of it. I've not watched the podcast,
- 5:06Speaker 1: I've not listened to the podcast. I've only seen clips.
- 5:09Speaker 1: And Derek Carr is the younger. David Carr was the
- 5:13Speaker 1: one that was drafted. It was a Texan first overall pick.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Were they both the first overall picks?
- 5:18Speaker 5: No, Derek was second round pick.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Okay, so uh the older brother is a giant, like
- 5:26Speaker 1: he's so jacked. I remember he was big. I don't
- 5:30Speaker 1: think I even knew what he looked like.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Good looking dude, like way looking.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Great air, great air. He's got a great air, a model,
- 5:37Speaker 1: massive muscles. He does look like a model.
- 5:39Speaker 3: And then Derek not so much. Not not a bad
- 5:42Speaker 3: looking dude, but not like.
- 5:43Speaker 1: You just say that in a way of like you're superior.
- 5:46Speaker 3: It's just like, dude, David Carr was like her chin
- 5:50Speaker 3: strap off your mouth?
- 5:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know if it can come down, it'll
- 5:53Speaker 1: come down. You can tell. Somebody's never found on a
- 5:54Speaker 1: helmet before Edie bottom one. Eddie's wearing his Dallas Cowboy helmet.
- 6:00Speaker 1: And it's not like one of those snap points. No, no,
- 6:04Speaker 1: it's snapped, but you can fix it. It doesn't matter. Here.
- 6:08Speaker 3: There you go, let's do that.
- 6:10Speaker 5: He's like, is that a choker?
- 6:11Speaker 1: Now?
- 6:12Speaker 3: No, dude, I'm what I'm saying is David Carr was
- 6:16Speaker 3: just a good looking dude. And I remember that like
- 6:19Speaker 3: when he started, when he got drafted and then Carr.
- 6:22Speaker 3: I've just always been like, yeah, normal looking dude.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Well check out their podcast at least just to look
- 6:29Speaker 1: at them.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Were they both Fresno?
- 6:30Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah yeah, because the older brother is looks like
- 6:34Speaker 1: a professional bodybuilder.
- 6:36Speaker 5: He still looks like he's like thirty years old.
- 6:38Speaker 1: He didn't play very long, right, Yeah, I don't know.
- 6:42Speaker 1: I feel him and Matt Chobb just ran together. Oh
- 6:44Speaker 1: that's right, that's fair.
- 6:45Speaker 5: I think Carr won a super Bowl though, with the
- 6:47Speaker 5: Giants as a backup.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Yah. Does that count? Though? Can you can you claim?
- 6:50Speaker 5: I mean I think you can.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Claim you were on a super Bowl team. I don't
- 6:53Speaker 1: think you can claim you won a super Bowl.
- 6:55Speaker 3: You're on the team, you won the super Bowl.
- 6:57Speaker 1: You get the team. Yeah we want okay, I was
- 7:01Speaker 1: on the champ. Oh it's tough. I want you know.
- 7:04Speaker 3: You know you can say I won the super Bowl.
- 7:06Speaker 5: I won the super Bowl.
- 7:07Speaker 1: That sounds like a weird thing, though, if you didn't
- 7:09Speaker 1: even play and you say I won the super Bowl
- 7:11Speaker 1: but you're part of yeah we won the super Bowl
- 7:15Speaker 1: that year.
- 7:16Speaker 5: But like, okay, but if you're a staffer for that
- 7:18Speaker 5: team and they give you a ring, you know win
- 7:20Speaker 5: the super Bowl.
- 7:20Speaker 3: No, well you didn't play.
- 7:22Speaker 1: If you're a backup, I think you can say we
- 7:24Speaker 1: won the super Bowl that year. And I say, I
- 7:26Speaker 1: think you can also say I'm a super Bowl champion.
- 7:28Speaker 5: There you go.
- 7:29Speaker 1: But I don't think you can say I won the
- 7:30Speaker 1: super Bowl if you didn't play.
- 7:31Speaker 5: Oh would you do in the super Bowl?
- 7:33Speaker 3: Oh, you can say I'm a super Bowl champion. Yeah,
- 7:35Speaker 3: and I feel like that's saying I want the super Bowl.
- 7:36Speaker 1: No, because you won the super Bowl means you had
- 7:38Speaker 1: something to do with the winning of it.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Which you didn't because you're just a backup.
- 7:41Speaker 1: But you were prepared and ready to go and you practiced. Yeah,
- 7:45Speaker 1: scout team, Yeah, I hear you. That's a tough one.
- 7:48Speaker 1: It's weird to hear as a backup that they won
- 7:50Speaker 1: the super Bowl. They're a part of a super Bowl
- 7:53Speaker 1: champion team. Also, this is a dumb role that I
- 7:55Speaker 1: hear nothing about. Like I've already spent too much time
- 7:56Speaker 1: time about it.
- 7:57Speaker 5: We're still in the cars, by the way.
- 7:58Speaker 1: For some reason, I was we're doing the show from
- 8:02Speaker 1: my house. We're doing a little later on Thursday than
- 8:04Speaker 1: we normally do because of the Larry Fitzgerald interview that
- 8:06Speaker 1: you're gonna hear, and that was an afternoon thing, so
- 8:09Speaker 1: we're just gonna meet up here and do the show.
- 8:10Speaker 1: And I ordered it smoothie, and I when I got it,
- 8:13Speaker 1: and I went and I grabbed it, and my wife
- 8:15Speaker 1: had some packages on the front porch, and I got
- 8:17Speaker 1: my smoothie, and then I left the packages on the
- 8:19Speaker 1: front porch and I went back inside, which leads me
- 8:21Speaker 1: to the question of I didn't realize I did it,
- 8:23Speaker 1: but I do it a lot. Do you ever look
- 8:24Speaker 1: and see whose package as they are? And if I'm not,
- 8:26Speaker 1: you're just leave them out there even though you're out there. Yep, yeah, cat,
- 8:28Speaker 1: just make sure all the time.
- 8:29Speaker 5: No, I always grab them, Oh yeah, always, and then
- 8:32Speaker 5: I'll throw them like at the bottom of the stairs
- 8:34Speaker 5: or on the countertop or something.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Yeah. No, I don't even touch them.
- 8:36Speaker 3: That's mature of you, Kevin. I do the same thing
- 8:38Speaker 3: as you. I'm like, uh no, no, no, no.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Sometimes I will grab mine. If there's four and I
- 8:43Speaker 1: have one, I will reach through, Oh man, get mine,
- 8:47Speaker 1: take it inside and leave the other three out there.
- 8:49Speaker 1: And my wife will go like, hey, there's some packages
- 8:52Speaker 1: on the porch and I'm like, oh, yeah, any of
- 8:54Speaker 1: the mine, No, because I think you already took yours
- 8:57Speaker 1: off and left mine out there. That's funny. You don't
- 9:01Speaker 1: do it that. She well, I even do it with groceries.
- 9:03Speaker 3: It's crazy, Like my wife will order groceries and I'll
- 9:06Speaker 3: see them and I'll just go to the garage and
- 9:08Speaker 3: act like I didn't see him, just because who wants
- 9:10Speaker 3: to put all groceries away?
- 9:12Speaker 1: I understand the grocery putting it up thing, but for me,
- 9:14Speaker 1: I have to do nothing except take them from outside
- 9:16Speaker 1: and put them inside the door. I know, like it's
- 9:17Speaker 1: six it. I just have to bend down. I don't
- 9:19Speaker 1: even want to do that if they're not mine. There
- 9:21Speaker 1: are times I'll walk through because we have glass not
- 9:23Speaker 1: on the door but by the sides of the door.
- 9:24Speaker 1: There are times I will walk out. I will bend
- 9:26Speaker 1: all the way down and like get down near it
- 9:28Speaker 1: and not be outside. But look, I've put so much
- 9:31Speaker 1: work into seeing whose packages they are. You could have
- 9:33Speaker 1: gotten that. I could have easily opened the door and
- 9:35Speaker 1: just brought him in. Yeah, but I'll look at me
- 9:36Speaker 1: like Caitlyn. Caitlyn can yeah, not for me? What about
- 9:39Speaker 1: the mail? Do you go get them. Do you get
- 9:41Speaker 1: the mail? We don't see you. We don't get mail here.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Oh no mail, just junk mail. Wow, that's amazing. Business
- 9:48Speaker 1: manager gets all the mail. So who gets rid of
- 9:50Speaker 1: the junk mail? Or is it just it's just allow Well,
- 9:53Speaker 1: so every once in a while. So every once in
- 9:56Speaker 1: while I order something from eBay that are coming the mail.
- 9:59Speaker 1: So that's funny asked, because what will happen is if
- 10:01Speaker 1: something is expected in the mailbox, all go down and
- 10:04Speaker 1: it's just jam packed full of bunch of papers, brochuresop
- 10:10Speaker 1: on all of that. So yes, so that's the answer
- 10:13Speaker 1: to that. Who gets the mail? Us if we've ordered
- 10:17Speaker 1: something like to the house, that's not But everything gets
- 10:20Speaker 1: delivered to the door now for the most part. Yeah Amazon,
- 10:22Speaker 1: even like big stuff postal service. If they can't fit
- 10:25Speaker 1: it in the mailbo, let's drive it up and drop
- 10:27Speaker 1: it in front of the house. Yeah. So I think
- 10:29Speaker 1: ninety five percent of the stuff gets dropped off at
- 10:30Speaker 1: the house. But if there is something and I got
- 10:33Speaker 1: to go down, I know that I got to wait
- 10:34Speaker 1: through a bunch of crap mail to get to the
- 10:36Speaker 1: one thing. And then sometimes I just leave it in there.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Let me ask you as a question about mail. So,
- 10:42Speaker 3: like my son parks on the street and it's it's
- 10:45Speaker 3: right by the mailbox. He doesn't cover the mailbox because
- 10:48Speaker 3: I've told him, do not cover the mailbox.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Cover like park in front of it.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Yeah, like park, park in front of it. But the
- 10:52Speaker 3: mail man, I've been out there when he comes in
- 10:54Speaker 3: and he has to cut the corner and barely get
- 10:57Speaker 3: in front of my son's car to deliver the mail.
- 10:59Speaker 3: And I've hold him, dude, I will tell my son
- 11:01Speaker 3: to move that car if it's a problem.
- 11:02Speaker 1: He's like, it's not a big deal. Man.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Sometimes he has to get out of it, get out
- 11:06Speaker 3: of his little truck and deliver the mail. But he's
- 11:09Speaker 3: vocally said, not a big deal, You're good.
- 11:11Speaker 1: I think it's probably not unless it's raining, and then
- 11:13Speaker 1: that's probably annoying.
- 11:14Speaker 5: Yeah, but I think it's fine. I mean, you know
- 11:16Speaker 5: how many times he does that today?
- 11:17Speaker 1: Probably Yeah, but that's so annoying he has to throw
- 11:19Speaker 1: it in a par But.
- 11:20Speaker 5: I guarantee you he doesn't think about your kid's car ever.
- 11:23Speaker 5: Like he's like just another one, another one.
- 11:26Speaker 1: I'm sure there are people that cover their mail box
- 11:27Speaker 1: up all the time. So that's probably probably good what
- 11:30Speaker 1: you've told him. Yeah, that you've tried to keep him
- 11:32Speaker 1: out of the way.
- 11:33Speaker 3: I just feel bad every time I see him do
- 11:35Speaker 3: it a good guy.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you just quality human way better than me. I
- 11:40Speaker 1: thought you were gonna say with the groceries that you'll
- 11:42Speaker 1: see the groceries and you only go pick out a
- 11:43Speaker 1: couple of the things.
- 11:44Speaker 3: You no, I get, like the milk, only.
- 11:47Speaker 5: You don't have like a you bring them in and
- 11:48Speaker 5: she put him away or anything like that. You just
- 11:49Speaker 5: avoid them all together.
- 11:50Speaker 3: I avoid him and then and then if she's not home,
- 11:53Speaker 3: she'll call and be like, hey, have the groceries been delivered? Oh,
- 11:56Speaker 3: and then I have to I have to play the
- 11:57Speaker 3: dumb and be like, I don't know, and I'll go check.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Then you have to go get them once I once
- 12:02Speaker 3: that call comes in, I have to get them and
- 12:03Speaker 3: put them away.
- 12:04Speaker 1: What if you noticed, oh there's something like milk, they
- 12:08Speaker 1: could go bad if I still ignore.
- 12:10Speaker 3: I played them due. One time I did that, and
- 12:11Speaker 3: she had ground beef in there, and and she was
- 12:15Speaker 3: gone all day and so like you knew it was beef,
- 12:19Speaker 3: I didn't know. I didn't know it was in there
- 12:21Speaker 3: at the time, got it. So when she came home
- 12:23Speaker 3: like hours later and came back, She's like, dang it,
- 12:25Speaker 3: there's ground beef in here. I forgot there's some like
- 12:28Speaker 3: it's it can't be good. And I was like, oh,
- 12:29Speaker 3: I wish I would have known.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I would have know that was out there.
- 12:33Speaker 3: I would have gotten it.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Eddie has a funny theory about Harrison Bucker, the kicker
- 12:37Speaker 1: for the Jeeves.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Oh, you have to agree with me on this. Something's
- 12:41Speaker 3: going on in his personal life. Why because he's missing
- 12:44Speaker 3: he's missing extra points?
- 12:45Speaker 5: Are you thinking of Justin Tucker here?
- 12:47Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 12:49Speaker 3: Leading dude, Justin Tucker was one hundred percent until stuff
- 12:53Speaker 3: started going wrong in his personal life.
- 12:55Speaker 5: Yeah, but don't you feel like like young Hoku, you
- 12:57Speaker 5: think he's got something going on?
- 12:58Speaker 1: Lead he's had problem, Like what kind of problem, d
- 13:01Speaker 1: w I problems? Really?
- 13:03Speaker 3: I don't know if that's true or not. Man, I
- 13:04Speaker 3: hope I'm not making that up.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I have not.
- 13:07Speaker 4: I aware.
- 13:08Speaker 3: I remember a few years ago he had to miss
- 13:10Speaker 3: some games because of that, and like, gosh, maybe with
- 13:13Speaker 3: someone else, dude, we can look we can look at
- 13:16Speaker 3: ut Okay, but yeah, I mean, come on, like Harrison
- 13:19Speaker 3: Bucker same deal.
- 13:20Speaker 1: He didn't miss.
- 13:20Speaker 3: He's missing extra points, not forty yard field goals, fifty
- 13:23Speaker 3: yard field goals, extra points. Okay, but check his phone.
- 13:28Speaker 1: What if it's just like a toe. What if it's
- 13:30Speaker 1: just something he just injured.
- 13:32Speaker 3: But they're not saying that, Like if they're injured, they're injured, right,
- 13:35Speaker 3: Like they'll just be like, we'll find another kicker to
- 13:37Speaker 3: replace them. Yeah, what do you find it on?
- 13:40Speaker 5: Back at Georgia Southern, he got a.
- 13:42Speaker 1: D wil you guys fifteen? Hey, Ed didn't remembers all
- 13:47Speaker 1: except except when groceries are to be delivered. Do you
- 13:50Speaker 1: remember the kicker at Georgia Southern eleven years ago? But
- 13:53Speaker 1: he does not know when beef is coming to the house?
- 13:56Speaker 1: Is that right, Kevin?
- 13:57Speaker 5: That's what it said. Jung Oku was arrested for duy
- 14:00Speaker 5: during his college career. I never was just Southern University, dude.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Do you think you just got lucky? Totally?
- 14:08Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 14:08Speaker 1: Right, just confusing.
- 14:09Speaker 3: But sometimes you hear things and you have no idea
- 14:11Speaker 3: like that you heard it and you just your brain
- 14:13Speaker 3: just remembers it.
- 14:14Speaker 1: No, I think you were just way wrong. I don't
- 14:15Speaker 1: think you ever even heard that there even a conversation
- 14:19Speaker 1: with him having a d w I at Georgia Southern
- 14:21Speaker 1: in your life you around what year was that? Fifteen?
- 14:24Speaker 1: No way, there's no way.
- 14:26Speaker 5: A kicker at Georgia Southern.
- 14:28Speaker 3: But what are the odds though, Like, how many people
- 14:30Speaker 3: do you know have d.
- 14:31Speaker 5: W I's like not that a lot of my friends.
- 14:33Speaker 1: I mean, I really I never had one. I know
- 14:37Speaker 1: you have it you don't drink. But I could have
- 14:39Speaker 1: been on sleeping pills a d U I right, right,
- 14:41Speaker 1: right right, like because there was a time where I
- 14:43Speaker 1: was taking sleeping pills a lot, so I could I
- 14:44Speaker 1: could have got pulled over and been like on sleeping pills.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I'm trying to commit you guys that I could have
- 14:47Speaker 1: gotten one. Like I'm so lame that I'm like, no, guys,
- 14:50Speaker 1: I really I could have.
- 14:51Speaker 3: But you're good.
- 14:52Speaker 1: You don't, You're good. I don't.
- 14:53Speaker 5: I had a buddy get a b U I Viking. Really,
- 14:56Speaker 5: no joke. I swear that I would think.
- 14:58Speaker 1: That would still be a d u I. But I
- 14:59Speaker 1: gues there's no engine.
- 15:01Speaker 5: Yeah, it has something to do with that, but yeah,
- 15:03Speaker 5: it was like middle of the night, he was going
- 15:04Speaker 5: to his girlfriend's house from a party.
- 15:06Speaker 1: I thought I thought you could ride a bike while drawn. No, agreed.
- 15:09Speaker 3: I thought I've seen people were just like I've been drinking,
- 15:12Speaker 3: so I'm just gonna ride the bike.
- 15:13Speaker 5: We all thought he was joking. He's like, no, seriously,
- 15:15Speaker 5: I think you got like a fine and I'd take
- 15:17Speaker 5: some classes. It wasn't as serious, but he got a
- 15:19Speaker 5: b U.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Y do you need to look that out? That sounds
- 15:22Speaker 1: like he's messing with you. Because if it's like, hey,
- 15:25Speaker 1: don't drive, take my bike instead, right, like that's what
- 15:27Speaker 1: I would do.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Or we've seen stories where people take their kids a
- 15:30Speaker 3: little like jeep electric jeeps, you know, out to the store.
- 15:34Speaker 5: Oh, this is boating. Definitely not boating. And they said,
- 15:38Speaker 5: b y, Kevin, that might mean that might be me
- 15:40Speaker 5: making it up, but he definitely got something under the influence.
- 15:44Speaker 1: See if you can get a UI with something that
- 15:48Speaker 1: is not doesn't have any sort of propulsion because you're
- 15:52Speaker 1: having I'm sorry, that's a big word. What was that
- 15:54Speaker 1: meaning proposed? With the bike, you're having to do it yourself.
- 15:58Speaker 1: It'd be like walking, Yeah, walking, so you're doing it, yes,
- 16:03Speaker 1: just like you're walking drunk. Is there a biking under
- 16:06Speaker 1: the influence? I mean there's that. There's that's different. His
- 16:11Speaker 1: buddy said he was biking. I think was like the
- 16:14Speaker 1: time I learned that they didn't give my dog Bradley
- 16:17Speaker 1: to a farm and they this is like Kevin's about
- 16:19Speaker 1: to learn there was no biking.
- 16:21Speaker 5: It says, depending on the state in California, Yes, what
- 16:24Speaker 5: is the regards with a misdemeanor for riding a bicycle
- 16:27Speaker 5: under the influence of alcohol or drugs in California?
- 16:29Speaker 3: And what's it called.
- 16:30Speaker 5: It's called a CUI classic mix up.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Hey, you learn something new every day most days at least. Yeah,
- 16:40Speaker 1: who's going to coach at Penn State? Kevin make your
- 16:46Speaker 1: pick now? Matt Rule, Eddie the same.
- 16:48Speaker 3: I saw a clip of him, you know, on a
- 16:50Speaker 3: on the podium being interviewed about it, and he was
- 16:53Speaker 3: very like, he just kept saying, I love Penn Steak.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Well he started with that. He was like, look, I
- 16:56Speaker 1: went to school there, my wife there, everything, I'm from there.
- 17:00Speaker 1: He's from there, like everything about it. I think if
- 17:02Speaker 1: he didn't say that, people would be like, you're hiding something.
- 17:05Speaker 1: I think that's him eight miling in a bit, like
- 17:07Speaker 1: he's gonna go out and just say everything. So they
- 17:09Speaker 1: can't say it to him, you know, get the reference.
- 17:12Speaker 5: Vin, No, I'm trying to think eight mile.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I know that the final scene rapping, Yeah, the final
- 17:19Speaker 1: scene because he knows that.
- 17:21Speaker 5: They're gonna gotcha, Oh gotcha? What did they talk about?
- 17:23Speaker 5: You know, you shooting yourself? Blah blah, And he's like, yeah, yeah, gotcha, Okay.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Go ahead. So he so he's getting ahead of that.
- 17:29Speaker 5: Now, I get it.
- 17:29Speaker 1: He's saying everything that they would say to him first
- 17:32Speaker 1: before they can say it to him, So they don't
- 17:34Speaker 1: have the power to say that to him.
- 17:35Speaker 5: Got it.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Like you grew up there, you went to school there,
- 17:38Speaker 1: you met your wife there. There's got to be like
- 17:40Speaker 1: a personal pull to that job. And he's out and
- 17:42Speaker 1: he's like, I'm Matt Rule and I get respect. He's
- 17:45Speaker 1: wrapping it.
- 17:47Speaker 5: I know everything you got to say against me.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Uh yeah, I think I'm gonna pick Many Diaz.
- 17:54Speaker 5: Oh wow?
- 17:55Speaker 1: Really yeah? So Many Diaz defensive coordinator of Penn State.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Then is it Duke now? Uh, Duke's doing well considering
- 18:04Speaker 1: I think it's Mandy Diaz.
- 18:06Speaker 5: That he was there before right as a decoordinator.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Like he knows it. He's winning as I think you
- 18:13Speaker 1: just have to have somebody that was a head coach.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I don't know if it's gonna be like a Joe
- 18:15Speaker 1: Brady type guy, which I was thinking about the Titans job.
- 18:20Speaker 1: It's open. I wouldn't even take that job. No, no, me,
- 18:23Speaker 1: right now, I wouldn't take the job. It's a bad job.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Why in the world would you take a job one
- 18:31Speaker 1: where it feels the personnel decisions have not been great
- 18:35Speaker 1: over the years, there's no stability. Even in times of
- 18:38Speaker 1: super instability, there should always feel like though there's a
- 18:41Speaker 1: there is I would say the ability to have time
- 18:47Speaker 1: in that instable environment to make it stable. I feel
- 18:49Speaker 1: like it's there's not that he was the head coacher
- 18:52Speaker 1: for a year. In some games, you got to give
- 18:54Speaker 1: somebody at least two years.
- 18:55Speaker 3: What if you're like a small small school college coach,
- 19:00Speaker 3: this is your chance to coach in the NFL.
- 19:02Speaker 6: Take it.
- 19:03Speaker 1: The risk of that is if it doesn't work, you're
- 19:05Speaker 1: then seen as a failed head coach because it's probably
- 19:09Speaker 1: not gonna work. I think people are saying Mike McCarthy,
- 19:12Speaker 1: and I think that's perfect.
- 19:13Speaker 5: Like as a gap coach or sure, whatever. What's the
- 19:17Speaker 5: different with Pete Carroll.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Well, Pete Carroll's a lot older though, right. But yeah,
- 19:21Speaker 1: but what's the Mike McCarthy. Wherever he goes, they win?
- 19:24Speaker 3: You want with the Cowboys, we want a little bit.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Yeah, you just need something stable, like.
- 19:32Speaker 3: I mean, we want a little bit like I think
- 19:35Speaker 3: a coach like.
- 19:35Speaker 1: That also isn't going to just cow talent to everything
- 19:40Speaker 1: that every single person in the ownership group is saying,
- 19:42Speaker 1: because they're like, I don't need to If this dog
- 19:44Speaker 1: doesn't work out, who cares? Or if you get somebody
- 19:46Speaker 1: young there, I just don't think it's the best environment.
- 19:49Speaker 5: To succeed, and Kim Wore needs it.
- 19:51Speaker 1: So you need someone who isn't worried about success here
- 19:55Speaker 1: making their whole career. Yeah, so that would be like
- 19:58Speaker 1: I think Mike McCarthy would be aweso. They'll probably go
- 20:01Speaker 1: for a splash, or they'll go and just get a
- 20:03Speaker 1: coordinator that has, you know, no experience as a head coach,
- 20:06Speaker 1: and that definitely works sometimes it did in this time.
- 20:07Speaker 1: But I don't think it's his fault.
- 20:09Speaker 5: And they give him less than two years and blame
- 20:11Speaker 5: it all on him.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Blame it all on him.
- 20:13Speaker 3: So man at Belichick would have waited a little bit
- 20:15Speaker 3: it could have been coach of Penn State.
- 20:16Speaker 1: What. I'm embarrassed for Belichick.
- 20:20Speaker 5: I don't even like to think about it.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm embarrassed for him.
- 20:23Speaker 3: I'm sorry, Kevin, Dude, that's gonna be so hard for you.
- 20:25Speaker 5: I don't even I legit, don't even I forget he's
- 20:28Speaker 5: coaching all the time. I don't even think about it.
- 20:30Speaker 5: I skipped like social media stuff that has it. I'm like,
- 20:32Speaker 5: I want to know that part of his life.
- 20:34Speaker 1: I think it's starting to hurt his overall legacy. Really,
- 20:39Speaker 1: I do, do you think in because it's such an
- 20:42Speaker 1: S show in five ten years from now.
- 20:45Speaker 3: You mean you mean the coaching, Sorry you mean the
- 20:47Speaker 3: coach or like everything in his life S.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Show the coaching. Yeah, it's such a mess. And then
- 20:54Speaker 1: now it turns out the GM was possibly over in
- 20:57Speaker 1: Saudi raverag trying to raise money.
- 20:58Speaker 5: Oh I didn't see that.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I came out.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Today GM of North Carolina.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Yeah, like, yeah, we looked that up. Mike Lombardi. Just
- 21:06Speaker 1: google Lombardi Saudi Arabia.
- 21:09Speaker 3: WHOA, that's true, man.
- 21:15Speaker 1: I think if this is full disaster and he doesn't
- 21:19Speaker 1: stay another year and doesn't repair this year. I think
- 21:25Speaker 1: then it's Hey, Tom Brady was really the guy as
- 21:28Speaker 1: much as they were equal. He's the greatest coach of
- 21:31Speaker 1: all time. Him and Tom Brady happened to be together.
- 21:33Speaker 1: That was the perfect mix of Brady and Belichick. That's
- 21:37Speaker 1: what created six Super Bowl champ right, Six. Yeah, Brady
- 21:41Speaker 1: wants seven in Tampa. I think if this is a
- 21:44Speaker 1: disaster as it is and he leaves while it's fully
- 21:47Speaker 1: on fire, I think it hurts it just a little.
- 21:49Speaker 5: Bit, but in like a vacuum going to the first three. Yeah,
- 21:54Speaker 5: when Tom Brady wasn't putting up stupid numbers being the
- 21:57Speaker 5: guy he is at the end of his career, do
- 21:59Speaker 5: you give more credit to Belichick with the defenses? And
- 22:05Speaker 5: he seemed like he had his hands on that a
- 22:07Speaker 5: lot more than he did in the tail end?
- 22:09Speaker 1: Should say I give him all the credit. I mean
- 22:11Speaker 1: him and Brady they in reality, and I think they
- 22:15Speaker 1: both were very much at different levels parts of the
- 22:19Speaker 1: six championships, right right. But I'm talking about just public opinion,
- 22:25Speaker 1: and also I think when you win three, four, five,
- 22:28Speaker 1: six championships, your ego, your inability to modify all this happens,
- 22:34Speaker 1: and I think that's all hitting him in the face
- 22:35Speaker 1: here at the same time. So he's still a good
- 22:38Speaker 1: at coach. But you know, if you could be a
- 22:40Speaker 1: great coach and there are still people that you feel
- 22:42Speaker 1: maybe are smarter than you, there is a point, probably
- 22:44Speaker 1: for Belichick where he feels like he's for sure the
- 22:46Speaker 1: smartest guy in the room and nobody else knows what
- 22:48Speaker 1: they're talking about because he's done. But that's never true
- 22:51Speaker 1: like that. It's never true where you can't take advice
- 22:56Speaker 1: or you can't learn something from other people. And I
- 22:59Speaker 1: think that could be her him as well. Mike, what
- 23:00Speaker 1: do you see? Yeah, Pablo finds out reported on it
- 23:03Speaker 1: two weeks before the season he would have saud to
- 23:04Speaker 1: Arabia more to come tomorrow.
- 23:07Speaker 3: That that's different than I owe money over there.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, ah.
- 23:13Speaker 3: You think if Belichick gets out next this after the
- 23:16Speaker 3: season saves his legacy, gets out.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I think if this is a one year and it
- 23:22Speaker 1: goes away, I think there are three scenarios here. I
- 23:25Speaker 1: think if he stays another year and North Carolina has
- 23:29Speaker 1: a little more stability and they win eight games or something,
- 23:33Speaker 1: I think that's the best case scenario. I think second
- 23:37Speaker 1: best case, there's only three scenarios. So middle scenario is
- 23:40Speaker 1: that he finishes the year and it's like, hey, this
- 23:42Speaker 1: wasn't for me. It was a bad year. It was
- 23:44Speaker 1: a bad year, and so I think his reputation takes
- 23:50Speaker 1: just a hit in the next few years when we're
- 23:52Speaker 1: thinking about him, like overall, I don't think it like
- 23:55Speaker 1: Michael Jordan was still pretty good with Wizards. We forget
- 23:57Speaker 1: that he still averaged twenty five points a game, and
- 24:01Speaker 1: most time we don't think about that because he didn't
- 24:03Speaker 1: spend ten years there. I think if he were to
- 24:05Speaker 1: get fired or leave in the middle of the season,
- 24:07Speaker 1: it hurts some worse than if he finished out a
- 24:09Speaker 1: bad year. Yeah, because he ran from a problem. Yeah.
- 24:14Speaker 5: I just can't see him doing that either, leaving halfway,
- 24:17Speaker 5: leaving like the middle of the season. I could see
- 24:19Speaker 5: him even even even calling it quits quote unquote. I
- 24:25Speaker 5: guess like leaving knowing that he didn't, I don't know,
- 24:28Speaker 5: do the best job. That'd be hard to just see
- 24:30Speaker 5: him do that.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I don't know what it means. And I just saw
- 24:32Speaker 1: it before we came on, But Stephen Belichick's wife had
- 24:34Speaker 1: posted an Instagram story and there was a picture of
- 24:37Speaker 1: a moving truck, and I think her her post was
- 24:40Speaker 1: doing this again. Now it could have met het.
- 24:42Speaker 3: The son he is and coordinatd to the coordinator are
- 24:45Speaker 3: there are both of his sonsching just.
- 24:48Speaker 1: One I don't know. I know Stephen Belichick because he
- 24:51Speaker 1: took him from Washington. Oh boy, so so no, it
- 24:55Speaker 1: could they could be moving to a new house in
- 24:56Speaker 1: the neighborhood. But all I know is if do you
- 25:00Speaker 1: see it?
- 25:00Speaker 5: Why would you post that?
- 25:02Speaker 1: Do you see it? AI is real good, so you
- 25:06Speaker 1: never know.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Gosh, everything's the eye. Now did you got a triple check?
- 25:09Speaker 1: But I'm pretty sure that's what I saw. If you
- 25:11Speaker 1: see Stephen Belichick's wife post Instagram story about a moving truck. There,
- 25:15Speaker 1: I saw her before we came on. But that's what's up.
- 25:19Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm trying to look for the picture.
- 25:21Speaker 6: But this says that she did do it.
- 25:23Speaker 1: What's the article say?
- 25:26Speaker 5: It says photo from Steve Belichick's wife sparks major speculations.
- 25:31Speaker 1: So I didn't make that up. Good good, good love
- 25:33Speaker 1: that love. All right, let's go and get to the
- 25:37Speaker 1: parlay of the week. Oh the AI though the AI
- 25:40Speaker 1: is crazy. I sent so one of my really good
- 25:43Speaker 1: friends is Brett Eldridge, the singer, And I saw an
- 25:46Speaker 1: AI picture of Kelly Clarkson holding up pregnancy test and
- 25:48Speaker 1: Brett Elder was next to her, and it's obviously it's
- 25:51Speaker 1: it only looks like eighty five percent of both of them.
- 25:53Speaker 1: You can tell it's AI. And it was like, she
- 25:55Speaker 1: just said it, this is what she's pregnant. And I
- 25:58Speaker 1: texted to Brett and I was like, dude, this is
- 26:01Speaker 1: really creepy. Goes dude, I know, he goes like they're
- 26:03Speaker 1: like old people that think this is real because it's
- 26:06Speaker 1: not him. I mean, if you, I know, if you
- 26:08Speaker 1: really look at these you know it's not that. Yes.
- 26:10Speaker 1: And also they have never dated. They did a song
- 26:13Speaker 1: together that's like any artists, like a Christmas song. But
- 26:16Speaker 1: the AI stuff is creepy. I mean I use it
- 26:19Speaker 1: all the time. Don't get me wrong.
- 26:20Speaker 3: You know what's funny on TikTok right now is everyone
- 26:22Speaker 3: doing Kirby smart though. Everybody clap your hands.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Time out, time out, time out, time out, time out.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Yeah, those don't get old.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Okay, let's get to the Parlay of the Week presented
- 26:32Speaker 1: by DraftKings.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Okay, I got my phone out, I hear you.
- 26:38Speaker 1: I'm ready we gotta do.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Hey, we're due for one, baby, let's go.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I know the game. How do we feel about Vanderbilt
- 26:48Speaker 1: being a two and a half point favorite against LSU?
- 26:52Speaker 1: That's crazy wild one because LSU is ranked tent Vanderbilt's
- 26:59Speaker 1: ranked seventeenth. YEP. Secondly, and we like Vanderbilt, we like
- 27:03Speaker 1: coach Lee a lot, but it's still Vanderbilt. Yeah, they're
- 27:08Speaker 1: they're at Vandy. The thing is, I don't want to
- 27:14Speaker 1: pick against Vanderbilt, but like that screw. And also it's
- 27:18Speaker 1: almost like they're begging you to bet that. It was
- 27:20Speaker 1: like when Kanci was playing Detroit, We're like, we can't
- 27:22Speaker 1: figure out why kant City is two and a half
- 27:23Speaker 1: point favorite. Turns out all of Detroit's defense was broken.
- 27:26Speaker 5: Yeah, we're like, what do we not know?
- 27:28Speaker 1: Okay, I'm taking.
- 27:31Speaker 3: You're gonna stay on that game or no, I gotta
- 27:33Speaker 3: get off. Okay, I'm on the game that you're gonna
- 27:34Speaker 3: pick Arkansas, let's go.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I can't pick that one. I just joke it. I
- 27:40Speaker 1: just don't know how about this. That's all three of
- 27:42Speaker 1: us will triangle it up. We'll run, Yeah, we'll run
- 27:46Speaker 1: the old Lakers triangle offense. Here, everybody pick a game.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Do you have the list of games? I have the
- 27:54Speaker 1: list of games. L s U Vanderbilt Vanderbilts to a
- 27:59Speaker 1: half point favorite, Georgia Tech Duke. Georgia Tech is ranked
- 28:03Speaker 1: twelve and Duke is a point and a half favorite.
- 28:06Speaker 1: One man it Diaz. Yeah. I mean, if you were
- 28:11Speaker 1: to win that game, agains the top fifteen team as
- 28:13Speaker 1: he's kind of in the mix. A lot of these
- 28:15Speaker 1: coaches too, because of public opinion. They need to continue
- 28:20Speaker 1: having a good season, even if you know they're a
- 28:21Speaker 1: great coach. They need to continue having a great season
- 28:24Speaker 1: so that fan base doesn't freak out when you hire
- 28:26Speaker 1: them to come and be the head coach.
- 28:27Speaker 3: Penn State, help me out with this line. Texas Tech
- 28:31Speaker 3: seven and a half over Arizona.
- 28:33Speaker 1: State at Arizona State. Yeah, and Arizona State's quarterbacks playing.
- 28:37Speaker 1: He is playing, already was playing.
- 28:39Speaker 5: I know he didn't play last week, so I was wondering,
- 28:42Speaker 5: Texas Tech is good.
- 28:44Speaker 3: I know, I feel like seven and a half isn't.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Is that what you're picking? Okay, I'm going I'll go first.
- 28:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna go Oregon minus seventeen and a half at
- 28:53Speaker 1: Rutgers well you know what, that was gonna be my
- 28:54Speaker 1: second one, so I like it. Crap, shouldn't have picked it? No, stop,
- 28:58Speaker 1: stop stop, we're going with it all right. Oregon minus
- 29:01Speaker 1: seventeen and a half at Ruggers, Kevin, I'm.
- 29:04Speaker 5: Gonna take another road team two, the heavy favorite Ohio
- 29:08Speaker 5: State minus twenty four and a half at Wisconsin.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Wisconsin's about to fire their coach. So you know who
- 29:16Speaker 1: they keep talking about being the head coach at Wisconsin,
- 29:19Speaker 1: coach Lipel. Oh really that's another he was like Wisconsin
- 29:24Speaker 1: white Water. Oh yeah, you're right, but like he was
- 29:26Speaker 1: very successful there.
- 29:27Speaker 5: Yeah, he won like a bunch of champs.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Will I almost want to text him and be like,
- 29:30Speaker 1: what's up is that? I won't tell No. White three
- 29:35Speaker 1: okay a small small school. Yeah, I don't think it's
- 29:38Speaker 1: D three. I think it's too f BS f C.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Yeah, that's how it's broken down now, Kevin, f CS,
- 29:43Speaker 3: FBS don't know which one is which though, FBS big boys,
- 29:48Speaker 3: FCS small schools.
- 29:51Speaker 1: I thank you, b U, I yeah, b U.
- 29:56Speaker 5: D three is it?
- 29:57Speaker 1: It is a D three school?
- 29:58Speaker 4: Oh?
- 29:58Speaker 1: Wow?
- 29:59Speaker 5: U W White which competes in NCAA D Did he
- 30:02Speaker 5: go from there?
- 30:02Speaker 1: To Buffalo.
- 30:05Speaker 5: Well, Eddi's still looking for his pickle.
- 30:07Speaker 1: No, I got it.
- 30:07Speaker 3: I'm gonna go. I'm gonna do another road too.
- 30:09Speaker 1: He picked u W. Whitewater. I found him. Yeah.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Now I'm gonna go with Texas Tech over Arizona State
- 30:16Speaker 3: minus seven and a half.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Okay, so we have Oregon. We all picked the favorites.
- 30:20Speaker 1: We're sex losers and no.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Okay, man, we're just trying to win here.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Oregon minus seventeen and a half. Texas Tech at Arizona State,
- 30:27Speaker 1: Texa Tech mind. We picked all road teams to all
- 30:29Speaker 1: roads favorites in Ohio State minus twenty four and a half.
- 30:32Speaker 1: At Wisconsin, your team hitting Peyter pays out to you.

- 32:15Speaker 1: me a little more about this.
- 32:16Speaker 6: Well, so, I've been very fortunate and lucky to be
- 32:19Speaker 6: able to have unbelievable supporter in DraftKings. This is our
- 32:22Speaker 6: seventh year now and with the with the pink Them campaign,
- 32:26Speaker 6: you know, raising awareness for breast cancer research with our

- 32:42Speaker 6: free point entries. You know they match, and so please
- 32:45Speaker 6: go sign up and support some great causes.
- 32:48Speaker 1: We're big DraftKings guys here, dude already at big time,
- 32:51Speaker 1: me too. Okay, So a couple things. Question Number one,
- 32:55Speaker 1: what do you still do every day? That is very
- 32:58Speaker 1: much training like that you did as you were playing.
- 33:02Speaker 6: I definitely don't train like the physical aspect. I don't train,
- 33:06Speaker 6: you know, nearly as much as I do. I do
- 33:08Speaker 6: enough just to make sure I, you know, stay healthy. Right,
- 33:11Speaker 6: But in terms of like reading and you know, knowledge
- 33:14Speaker 6: acquisition and being intellectually curious, like, that's still the same
- 33:18Speaker 6: as always been. So I would say that's that's pretty similar.
- 33:22Speaker 6: But from a physical perspective, there's no reason to keep
- 33:25Speaker 6: up that kind of pace. Actually not you know a
- 33:26Speaker 6: professional athlete.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I was thinking like bench press, you were talking
- 33:29Speaker 1: a books. See, that's why you're going to go far
- 33:31Speaker 1: in life, not not like like working out, so you
- 33:35Speaker 1: don't you didn't feel the need like I don't know
- 33:38Speaker 1: a lot of my buddies who were ex athletes at
- 33:40Speaker 1: very high levels, it took them a while to kind
- 33:42Speaker 1: of taper down, like you know, they trained every day
- 33:44Speaker 1: and they slowly had to get out. So were you
- 33:46Speaker 1: able to quit and then just go, hey, I don't
- 33:49Speaker 1: need to do it like that anymore, because I'm not
- 33:51Speaker 1: doing it like that anymore.
- 33:53Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, I'm not going against you know, sauce
- 33:56Speaker 6: gardeners of the world any longer. I'm not. I don't
- 33:59Speaker 6: need to be training at that level, right. I need
- 34:01Speaker 6: to be able to go out and run routes with
- 34:03Speaker 6: my son, you know, when we're practicing on things, or
- 34:06Speaker 6: be able to go chase the kids around, and you know,
- 34:09Speaker 6: just general fitness.
- 34:10Speaker 4: You know.
- 34:10Speaker 6: So a lot of times I travel a lot, you know,
- 34:12Speaker 6: I take the you know, the bands or the TRX,
- 34:15Speaker 6: and I do you know, my workout in the room,
- 34:17Speaker 6: and I do some some intervals in terms of my treadmill.
- 34:20Speaker 6: So I still get on and do like thirty second
- 34:23Speaker 6: sprints at like you know, twelve one or four percent
- 34:26Speaker 6: in incline right and then walk for forty five seconds
- 34:30Speaker 6: and they're doing thirty you know. So I still want
- 34:32Speaker 6: to do some cardiovascular work to get my heart pump
- 34:34Speaker 6: in and make sure I'm in good shape because I'm
- 34:37Speaker 6: still a young guy and I'm forty, you know, two
- 34:39Speaker 6: years old, and so you want to make sure that
- 34:40Speaker 6: you are just taking care of your body man, and
- 34:43Speaker 6: you know, being fit.
- 34:45Speaker 1: What about the competitive bug? Is there anything that you
- 34:47Speaker 1: do it could bettle? Yeah? What do you do that
- 34:50Speaker 1: keeps you like fired up?
- 34:52Speaker 6: I played chess a lot, a couple of games a day,
- 34:55Speaker 6: you know, to keep me keep my mental Acuity shirt.
- 34:58Speaker 6: I play a lot of pickleball.
- 35:00Speaker 4: I like.
- 35:00Speaker 6: I like pickleball, and particularly I like singles. Very competitive
- 35:04Speaker 6: in golf. So I mean, just because you don't play
- 35:06Speaker 6: ball anymore doesn't mean like the competitive energy and bub
- 35:09Speaker 6: just goes as well. You still want to You want
- 35:12Speaker 6: to beat somebody in something every day, and uh you know,
- 35:14Speaker 6: so I gotta have it.
- 35:16Speaker 1: I'm a big singles pickle ball player too, because it's
- 35:19Speaker 1: the only time I can ever get like real work.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Like doubles that's fun with your friends, it's good camaraderie.
- 35:24Speaker 1: But like singles, pickleball is like you want to get
- 35:27Speaker 1: a sweat. I actually own part of a professional pickleball team,
- 35:29Speaker 1: which is the Texas Ranchers, So like I'm part of
- 35:34Speaker 1: like pickleball, probably a little a little healthier than than
- 35:37Speaker 1: I should be, a little healthier than I should be.
- 35:39Speaker 1: I've played in tournaments. Have you ever played a tournament?
- 35:41Speaker 1: I have?
- 35:42Speaker 6: Unfortunately didn't work out well from me. It didn't work
- 35:45Speaker 6: out well for me. I went I played a five
- 35:47Speaker 6: old tournament and I realized I thought I was good.
- 35:49Speaker 6: I'm like a four or five, I would say, but
- 35:52Speaker 6: that that pointy five is a big difference, you know
- 35:55Speaker 6: what I mean, Like especially with those those firefights up
- 35:59Speaker 6: at the next you know, the quality of the serbs,
- 36:02Speaker 6: the third shot drops, you know, like there's a signifficult improvement,
- 36:06Speaker 6: you know, at that level.
- 36:07Speaker 1: You know.
- 36:07Speaker 6: But I got a chance to to drill with some
- 36:10Speaker 6: really good players, you know, like I, you know, and
- 36:15Speaker 6: Andrew and uh Andre Dscu. You know who I think
- 36:20Speaker 6: is playing, you know, as good, if not better than
- 36:23Speaker 6: anybody in the world right now. And you know a
- 36:26Speaker 6: lot of really good players, and you know, so it's
- 36:28Speaker 6: been fun to kind of be a part of the
- 36:29Speaker 6: game and see it continue to grow.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Okay, you said you played a five, Zho that that's
- 36:34Speaker 1: like pro see a little bit. I was like, because
- 36:37Speaker 1: I played a three, I wont a three five tournament
- 36:39Speaker 1: once I want, but it's three five. So I played
- 36:41Speaker 1: a four. I got swallowed. You played in a five,
- 36:45Speaker 1: Like I shouldn't even be talking to you right now
- 36:46Speaker 1: about pickleball.
- 36:47Speaker 6: No, no, I had no business being out there at
- 36:50Speaker 6: no business being out there. But I wanted to see.
- 36:53Speaker 6: I wanted to kind of just fill the the speed
- 36:58Speaker 6: of the game and the quality of it. And I
- 37:00Speaker 6: realized very quickly that I need to find something else
- 37:03Speaker 6: to do.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Do you miss Sundays with all the guys you miss
- 37:07Speaker 1: Sundays competing?
- 37:08Speaker 4: Uh?
- 37:09Speaker 6: No, I wouldn't say I miss it. And I played
- 37:11Speaker 6: seventeen years professionally, you know, probably all in all thirty years,
- 37:15Speaker 6: like just you know, from Pop Warner, the Little League,
- 37:18Speaker 6: all the way through, you know. So I had a
- 37:20Speaker 6: fabulous run, so many great memories and things I could
- 37:24Speaker 6: look back on and be very proud of, you know,
- 37:27Speaker 6: things we were able to do for the city and
- 37:29Speaker 6: zoanthropic endeavors that we support, similar to what we're doing
- 37:33Speaker 6: here for Trapkings, you know. So like those those things
- 37:35Speaker 6: always kind of like flood my mind with you know,
- 37:38Speaker 6: a lot of positive things that I could take from
- 37:39Speaker 6: my experiences.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Hey, Larry, when I got a quick story when my
- 37:43Speaker 3: son was young, the doctor was like, he was having
- 37:46Speaker 3: some motor skill issues. And the doctor was like, you
- 37:49Speaker 3: take an occupational therapy, and as parents, we didn't know
- 37:51Speaker 3: what that was, and I was really reluctant towards it,
- 37:55Speaker 3: you know, but when we got to the doctor's office
- 37:57Speaker 3: at a poster review and an article of Fitzgerald how
- 38:01Speaker 3: he struggled with certain things when he was younger, and
- 38:04Speaker 3: he occupational therapy helped him in his career, and honestly,
- 38:07Speaker 3: that really made me open up my eyes to it
- 38:11Speaker 3: and be like, you know what, hey, my son could
- 38:13Speaker 3: be the next Layer Fitzgerald.
- 38:14Speaker 1: We're doing this.
- 38:15Speaker 3: Unfortunately he wasn't. But do you what can you say
- 38:18Speaker 3: about that? Because that blew my mind when I read that.
- 38:21Speaker 6: Man, well, first it's early for your son. Just just
- 38:23Speaker 6: telling me to stick with it, you have. Vision therapy
- 38:25Speaker 6: was something that I did a lot growing up. My
- 38:27Speaker 6: grandfather and my mom's second to oldest sister both optometrists
- 38:33Speaker 6: in the Chicago area. She's still the optometrist. So you know,
- 38:37Speaker 6: all summer like twice a week, you know, for eight
- 38:40Speaker 6: weeks in the summertime, I was doing vision therapy, you know,
- 38:43Speaker 6: murdening quarters, doing all these eye strength and the exercises,
- 38:46Speaker 6: and still to this day, I have twenty ten visions
- 38:48Speaker 6: still to this day. And it definitely helped me track
- 38:51Speaker 6: the ball. When I could see I was playing baseball,
- 38:54Speaker 6: I could ball being thrown. I mean I could I
- 38:57Speaker 6: could see the stitches like my eyes would be able
- 38:59Speaker 6: to slow down at that pace, and so it definitely
- 39:03Speaker 6: helped me improve it definitely helped helps me. Now I
- 39:06Speaker 6: don't have to wear contacts or glasses or anything not yet,
- 39:09Speaker 6: God willing I continue on that path. But yeah, Man's
- 39:13Speaker 6: it was something that really helped me. And it also
- 39:15Speaker 6: helped me academically be able to slow down and help
- 39:17Speaker 6: me learn and read and focus better in the classroom. So,
- 39:20Speaker 6: like all across the border, was very helpful.
- 39:23Speaker 1: There's a lot made about you being a ball boy
- 39:25Speaker 1: with the Vikings way back in the day. Did you
- 39:27Speaker 1: know at that point that you wanted to be a
- 39:29Speaker 1: pro football player or where were your aspirations athletically at
- 39:33Speaker 1: the time.
- 39:34Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean I wanted to play, but you know,
- 39:36Speaker 6: when you're twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen years old, man likeliho
- 39:40Speaker 6: that you make and it is so slim, right, But
- 39:43Speaker 6: I knew that if I applied some of the same
- 39:45Speaker 6: discipline that I saw John Random, Chris Carter and Chris
- 39:48Speaker 6: Dolman and Random McDaniel, Random Mass, all these guys do
- 39:54Speaker 6: every single day, that it will give me a better
- 39:56Speaker 6: chance to actually have an opportunity to do it right.
- 40:00Speaker 6: It's no guarantees, but it was just a mentality to
- 40:03Speaker 6: focus the intensity the way they did their job. Every
- 40:07Speaker 6: day was like, gosh, man, this is special what I'm watching.
- 40:12Speaker 6: And I was able to realize that and I started
- 40:14Speaker 6: implementing it to what I was doing, and I just
- 40:16Speaker 6: started taking off. But obviously I had a love and
- 40:18Speaker 6: a passion to get better and compete, and I think,
- 40:21Speaker 6: you know, this is the mixture of it. You know,
- 40:23Speaker 6: was really helpful.
- 40:25Speaker 1: You left college early. How hard was that to get approved?
- 40:29Speaker 1: You have a very famous situation.
- 40:31Speaker 6: Yeah, so I came out with Murray's Clarett and Mike Williams,
- 40:38Speaker 6: who both for sophomores, and I was a sophomore as well.
- 40:43Speaker 6: The only thing that was different is that I had
- 40:45Speaker 6: one to a prep school for a year, So my
- 40:47Speaker 6: original graduating class was graduating in two thousand and one.
- 40:51Speaker 6: I ended up going to a military school for a
- 40:53Speaker 6: prep year, which took me out, and I ended up
- 40:56Speaker 6: graduating two thousand and two. But technically my original graduating
- 40:59Speaker 6: class two thousand and one, so two thousand and four
- 41:02Speaker 6: a year would have given me technically three years removed
- 41:05Speaker 6: from my graduating class. So we presented that quietly to
- 41:08Speaker 6: an NFL legal, like I didn't want to go and
- 41:11Speaker 6: like you don't want to go? Toe to toe chest
- 41:13Speaker 6: to chess with the National Footbay. That's a that's not
- 41:15Speaker 6: what you want. And so we kind of went back
- 41:18Speaker 6: challenge to see if they would be okay with that explanation,
- 41:21Speaker 6: and they got back to it, said that was fine.
- 41:23Speaker 6: And so I was able to do that, and I
- 41:25Speaker 6: try to battle, you know, to fight my way in.
- 41:29Speaker 1: Your hands obviously a plus. Were they always great as
- 41:33Speaker 1: a receiver or was that something you also had to
- 41:34Speaker 1: train to do.
- 41:35Speaker 6: Yeah, I think even when I was a young kid
- 41:38Speaker 6: in our Cult de Sac, it was like this circle
- 41:39Speaker 6: and I remember snow but the snowplows would come in
- 41:42Speaker 6: and they would push the snope against the walls and
- 41:45Speaker 6: we would have these snowball fights, and you know, I
- 41:47Speaker 6: would throw one up in the air and a guy
- 41:49Speaker 6: would lift and I would throw it. And I could
- 41:50Speaker 6: always like see the one that were coming. I could
- 41:52Speaker 6: catch them, you know, repackage them and thrown back Like
- 41:57Speaker 6: that was like seven years old. I could always catch it.
- 41:59Speaker 6: I just was good at catching a center fielder in baseball.
- 42:02Speaker 6: I could track it off the bat, I can see
- 42:04Speaker 6: where it's going, and so I always had really good hands.
- 42:07Speaker 6: But obviously I worked tirelessly at you know, getting better
- 42:10Speaker 6: and better every single day with the drills that I
- 42:13Speaker 6: would do. But naturally I was just I was good
- 42:16Speaker 6: with the hand eye stuff.
- 42:18Speaker 1: What was the big change for you when you moved
- 42:19Speaker 1: into the slot?
- 42:20Speaker 6: Oh, I just think the physicality of it. You know,
- 42:22Speaker 6: you're so much closer to the ball, so you're closer
- 42:24Speaker 6: to the linebackers and defensive ends and new jobs responsible
- 42:29Speaker 6: for blocking force a lot more frequent. So I think
- 42:32Speaker 6: just the physical nature of it was different. But I
- 42:36Speaker 6: think it made me much more complete player and had
- 42:38Speaker 6: not added that part of my game later later in
- 42:41Speaker 6: my career, you know, I definitely wouldn't have been the
- 42:45Speaker 6: player that I turned out to be.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Do you have any books you've read more than twice? Oh?
- 42:49Speaker 6: Yeah, oh yeah, I would say the one that I
- 42:53Speaker 6: read them most I Filling the Alchemists by Papo Con.
- 42:57Speaker 6: I think that really kind of challenge just the way
- 43:00Speaker 6: you think involved. You know, you know what the good
- 43:03Speaker 6: life really looks like, you know, and how you can
- 43:06Speaker 6: attain that by just trying to find inner peace and
- 43:09Speaker 6: happiness every day. And so you know, I've probably read
- 43:12Speaker 6: that book, I don't know, eight nine, ten times.
- 43:16Speaker 1: Maybe, I think because I've read it a few times
- 43:19Speaker 1: as well. Every time I read it, and again it's
- 43:21Speaker 1: not a long book, but every time I read it,
- 43:23Speaker 1: and it's not a lot of words, I'm able to
- 43:25Speaker 1: find something like a different a different message, a different
- 43:29Speaker 1: narrative that I think possibly I was searching. This is
- 43:31Speaker 1: going to sound way kind of cuckoo, maybe, but I
- 43:34Speaker 1: think for like whatever I was needing at the time,
- 43:35Speaker 1: I've always found it within that book, even though it
- 43:39Speaker 1: is not a book of like five hundred chapters or
- 43:41Speaker 1: one hundred thousand words.
- 43:42Speaker 6: Yeah, I am. I'm in agreement with that.
- 43:47Speaker 1: With the Cardinals, you know, we got we got not
- 43:50Speaker 1: winning a bunch of games so far, well, although we did. Hey,
- 43:53Speaker 1: I don't know, how do you feel about the Cardinals
- 43:55Speaker 1: this year? I don't want I don't want to create
- 43:56Speaker 1: a narrative. How do you feel about the Cardinals this year?
- 43:59Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 44:00Speaker 6: It's what I would say about the whole John coach
- 44:02Speaker 6: Gannon regime. Like they are competitive, they're feisty, and I
- 44:08Speaker 6: know they started off too and all and dropped the
- 44:10Speaker 6: last few, but like all these games are competitive, they're
- 44:14Speaker 6: in every single game. You look at what they did,
- 44:16Speaker 6: you know, the tough place against a really good team
- 44:18Speaker 6: in Annapolis. Coach this week, they were in it led
- 44:20Speaker 6: late into the fourth quarter. Like they fight and they compete.
- 44:23Speaker 6: You know, you just want to see them start kind
- 44:26Speaker 6: of getting over the humps. You know, they played pretty
- 44:30Speaker 6: poorly early on against Seattle, falked their way back in.
- 44:33Speaker 6: I was able to get to get the lead. Obviously,
- 44:36Speaker 6: they lost in overtime. But the way they're able to fight,
- 44:38Speaker 6: the way they're able to scratch and they play, is
- 44:40Speaker 6: something that I really admire. Like they got a lot
- 44:42Speaker 6: of fight.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Is Marvin Harrison Junior somebody that you talk with, there
- 44:46Speaker 1: are a lot of similarities, not just playing receiver for
- 44:48Speaker 1: the Cardinals.
- 44:50Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't talk to them a lot. You know,
- 44:52Speaker 6: we communicate once in a while.
- 44:55Speaker 1: No, I don't.
- 44:56Speaker 6: I'm not one of those guys that tries to befriend
- 44:59Speaker 6: and get close to, you know, the players. You know,
- 45:01Speaker 6: I think this is their time. I have my time
- 45:03Speaker 6: in the sun. It's their time now. If they do
- 45:06Speaker 6: they ever need anything, any advice or anything that I
- 45:09Speaker 6: could do help some you know, in their journey. I'm
- 45:11Speaker 6: always available, but you know you're reaching out and calling
- 45:15Speaker 6: texts and that's not really my jam all right.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Give you one more question here. So final question, what
- 45:21Speaker 1: is your favorite like clutch catch from you at all
- 45:24Speaker 1: anytime in your career? What's like the one?
- 45:26Speaker 6: I think a card up fade in the end zone
- 45:28Speaker 6: in the Super Bowl that kind of got us going
- 45:32Speaker 6: in the second half, and so yeah, it was like,
- 45:35Speaker 6: I think that's one of my favorite ones to kind
- 45:38Speaker 6: of get the ball roll. And I think that that
- 45:40Speaker 6: definitely stands up there at one of the top plays.
- 45:43Speaker 1: Larry, I appreciate it. And again it's the Pinkom campaign.

- 47:47Speaker 1: Okay, I got a tweet from somebody LV Runner nineteen
- 47:50Speaker 1: seventy five. They say, mister Bobby Bones, I must say
- 47:53Speaker 1: twenty five whistles. My favorite sports podcast been a day
- 47:56Speaker 1: one whistler. I think I speak for the majority of
- 47:58Speaker 1: the other whistlers when I say we're longer do for
- 48:00Speaker 1: a read update. Need to know how his Saint Louis
- 48:03Speaker 1: Chaos is going read. So the people have demanded, well,
- 48:07Speaker 1: we put you back on the show.
- 48:09Speaker 4: I'm glad I'm back.
- 48:10Speaker 1: Baby Howl's life.
- 48:12Speaker 4: I'm happy to be here. It's great. I mean, streets
- 48:15Speaker 4: are still a little crazy out here, living in downtown downtown,
- 48:19Speaker 4: but you know you respect the streets, they respect you
- 48:22Speaker 4: back it's been pretty good, man, it's been pretty good.
- 48:28Speaker 4: What doing podcast work?
- 48:30Speaker 1: Well?
- 48:30Speaker 3: So you have a curfew where like you do not
- 48:32Speaker 3: go outside at this time noon?
- 48:35Speaker 4: Yeah, four pm? Yeah, four pm. Doors are locked. We're inside.
- 48:42Speaker 4: That's just how it rolls out here, man, buddy system,
- 48:44Speaker 4: it goes the whole way.
- 48:46Speaker 1: Hey man, you have some high ceilings, like I know
- 48:48Speaker 1: you're like supposed to be. You know, we're not making
- 48:50Speaker 1: a lot of money right now. That is a vaulted ceiling,
- 48:54Speaker 1: it is.
- 48:54Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a little loft style up here. The rocks
- 48:58Speaker 4: do fall frequently though, from the seal. You will be
- 49:01Speaker 4: sitting and you'll just hear rubble falling from the ceiling.
- 49:05Speaker 4: So I don't know if that's a bad sign or not.
- 49:07Speaker 1: I think so in your living in your living room
- 49:10Speaker 1: or just like outside the.
- 49:11Speaker 4: Building everywhere, no living room. Uh my night stand in
- 49:15Speaker 4: the bedroom, I'll wake up and my nights stand is
- 49:18Speaker 4: covered in rubble.
- 49:21Speaker 1: It's an ear or like.
- 49:25Speaker 4: It's literally dirty.
- 49:27Speaker 1: Yeah, res you're talking just from God right now. Rubble. Okay,
- 49:32Speaker 1: So you live in downtown Saint Louis. How often do
- 49:35Speaker 1: you actually get out of your apartment or your condo?
- 49:38Speaker 4: So I take Maddie to the hospital in the morning
- 49:42Speaker 4: at like six am, and then I'll pick her up
- 49:44Speaker 4: right now at six pm. And so other than that,
- 49:48Speaker 4: I will I'll go get some groceries. I've cooked every
- 49:51Speaker 4: night this week, which is crazy because I I don't cook,
- 49:55Speaker 4: and so I've learned to cook. And so it's either
- 49:58Speaker 4: me going to the grocery store or running an errand
- 50:01Speaker 4: or I've picked up skateboarding, so you know, might go
- 50:03Speaker 4: hit a couple of tricks at the park for a minute,
- 50:06Speaker 4: you know, get some exercise. But it's a park that's
- 50:08Speaker 4: way outside of town. You know, I'm not trying to
- 50:10Speaker 4: get killed.
- 50:11Speaker 1: Because if you don't respect the streets, they don't respect you.
- 50:13Speaker 1: That's right. Hey, So yeah, yeah, you have glasses on.
- 50:16Speaker 1: You look pretty pretty intelligent with your new glasses. There's
- 50:19Speaker 1: a bit of a there's a bit of a story
- 50:20Speaker 1: behind that, that sure is.
- 50:22Speaker 4: Yeah, So I finally got eye care with being married,
- 50:27Speaker 4: and so I finally could go to the eye doctor,
- 50:30Speaker 4: and I can see it's a miracle. I just never
- 50:35Speaker 4: worried about it at all. And unfortunately they were like,
- 50:38Speaker 4: you need two pairs of glasses, one for work and
- 50:41Speaker 4: one for every day where which was really expensive. Insurance
- 50:45Speaker 4: covered a decent amount of it. But uh, but I
- 50:48Speaker 4: feel like a new man. Man. I could I could
- 50:50Speaker 4: see and now I look like Vigilante from Beastmaker.
- 50:55Speaker 3: You do look exactly like, well you were blind when
- 50:58Speaker 3: you were here, Like you couldn't see it.
- 51:00Speaker 4: I had a slight stigmatism, so I could still see
- 51:04Speaker 4: a way, but it just wasn't a stigmatism, got it, Okay,
- 51:08Speaker 4: this is what they called it. Yes, that's what they
- 51:10Speaker 4: got So I can still I could still see, but
- 51:13Speaker 4: it's definitely it's like, it's just good. It's HD. Everything's
- 51:15Speaker 4: HD now man. Colors, colors are popping. I can see
- 51:18Speaker 4: the world. It's beautiful.
- 51:19Speaker 3: Didn't you didn't you give him money for like insurance?
- 51:21Speaker 1: Yes, no, he's I was so offended when he first came.
- 51:25Speaker 1: You guys talk about this, Well, no, it's Reid worked
- 51:27Speaker 1: with me for how many years were we together? Five?
- 51:30Speaker 1: Six something like that.
- 51:32Speaker 4: Five ish, probably five.
- 51:34Speaker 1: I hired Reid off the streets. I respected it. Yeah, baby,
- 51:38Speaker 1: I hired read from an email like, he just emailed
- 51:41Speaker 1: and was like and I talked to him on zoom
- 51:42Speaker 1: and that eventually I hired him, and then everywhere I
- 51:44Speaker 1: went read went, and when he was like, hey, I
- 51:46Speaker 1: got to move because my wife she's going to finish
- 51:48Speaker 1: med school and wherever she gets put as a doctor,
- 51:51Speaker 1: I got to go there. We were all very sad,
- 51:53Speaker 1: very sad. Yeah, and so I was like, dang, okay,
- 51:56Speaker 1: we'll find a way to keep you on. But like,
- 51:59Speaker 1: I hired him, paid him a full time salary. I thought,
- 52:02Speaker 1: for the level of skill he had at the beginning,
- 52:05Speaker 1: overpaid him a bit. But I also paid him a
- 52:08Speaker 1: salary and then gave him a full stipend for insurance
- 52:11Speaker 1: because I'm not a big company. But I was like, hey,
- 52:13Speaker 1: you can get insurance on your own. Here's this many
- 52:15Speaker 1: thousands of dollars to buy insurance, and.
- 52:17Speaker 3: You made it clear to him that's gonna if you
- 52:19Speaker 3: want it.
- 52:19Speaker 1: You're going to use this for insurance. I think he
- 52:21Speaker 1: just bought pork grins or something with it, because all
- 52:23Speaker 1: of a sudden he comes back and he's like, I'm
- 52:24Speaker 1: skateboarding because I don't care if I get hurt. I
- 52:26Speaker 1: got glasses because I couldn't see. I got insurance for
- 52:29Speaker 1: the first time. I'm like, dude, what do you think
- 52:30Speaker 1: all those thousands of dollars were for that. I'm giving
- 52:33Speaker 1: you extra outside of your salary. And he was like,
- 52:36Speaker 1: I don't know, man, read what did you use that
- 52:38Speaker 1: money on?
- 52:38Speaker 4: Yeah? That went straight to Uber Eats. And I knew,
- 52:45Speaker 4: I just I mean, I knew Maddie was going to
- 52:47Speaker 4: be a doctor, so I'm like, she's gonna have the
- 52:49Speaker 4: best insurance he could possibly get. So why should I
- 52:52Speaker 4: use this money on insurance? I'm not going to get hurt.
- 52:55Speaker 4: You know, I might have a toothache, but freaking screw it.
- 52:57Speaker 4: I can fix it myself. And I don't need to
- 53:00Speaker 4: be able to see because in three or four years,
- 53:04Speaker 4: I'm hopping on her.
- 53:05Speaker 1: Train, you know, three or four years. Well, yeah, he's out.
- 53:08Speaker 1: He's telling everybody the story about how he finally has insurance.
- 53:11Speaker 1: They're like six of us together. Yes, we flew down.
- 53:14Speaker 1: Reid came here and we met and we flew down
- 53:16Speaker 1: to the Lionel Richie Show. So it was me, Kevin
- 53:20Speaker 1: and Brandon and Reid and Morgan number one and Tom, Like,
- 53:24Speaker 1: there's six of us, and Reid's going on, I finally
- 53:26Speaker 1: have insurance. I finally have insurance. And I'm like, dude,
- 53:28Speaker 1: they think I didn't allow you to go to the doctor,
- 53:31Speaker 1: like take care of him. Yes, like that. I didn't
- 53:33Speaker 1: take care of him at all. It's yes, I was like, guys,
- 53:36Speaker 1: I promise you. I don't think he just knew what
- 53:38Speaker 1: to do with the money.
- 53:40Speaker 4: No, I for sure just didn't want to use it
- 53:43Speaker 4: for insurance real reasons. Yeah.
- 53:46Speaker 1: Yeah, what's your happiness level at right now?
- 53:49Speaker 4: Oh it's at a freaking fifteen on a level ten scale,
- 53:52Speaker 4: you know it's I am the happiest I've ever been
- 53:55Speaker 4: in my entire life. I'm like.
- 53:59Speaker 3: Years, yeah, yeah, and all of us do you You
- 54:01Speaker 3: weren't there you are here with us.
- 54:03Speaker 4: No, but I'm still connected with you, guys. If I
- 54:05Speaker 4: wasn't connected with you, guys, I would I would be
- 54:08Speaker 4: just a sad sack of a human.
- 54:10Speaker 5: That makes Thank god you're not a sad souck.
- 54:12Speaker 1: He doesn't have any friends up there, yet he's happier
- 54:14Speaker 1: with no friends up there.
- 54:15Speaker 5: You're the highlight of your day at the grocery store.
- 54:17Speaker 1: Yes, he has to go to forty five minutes out
- 54:21Speaker 1: of town to skateboard, but he's the happiest he's ever been.
- 54:23Speaker 5: Carry a pistol on him.
- 54:24Speaker 4: But I'm just I'm just content with life. Man, I
- 54:28Speaker 4: got a weanie dog. Now, It's like, is that right?
- 54:32Speaker 3: You didn't have a dog before?
- 54:34Speaker 1: No?
- 54:34Speaker 4: No, I didn't have a dog as hers.
- 54:36Speaker 1: And how she doing? She's doing twelve hour shifts.
- 54:38Speaker 4: It sounds like, yep, twelve hour shifts. She's had the
- 54:41Speaker 4: last seven days in a row working without a day off,
- 54:46Speaker 4: and so she will work until Monday and she'll get
- 54:50Speaker 4: another day off.
- 54:51Speaker 1: When do you get to when do you get to
- 54:52Speaker 1: move again?
- 54:54Speaker 4: In three years?
- 54:55Speaker 3: And you don't know where?
- 54:58Speaker 4: I don't know where.
- 54:59Speaker 1: Can you pick where? Though?
- 55:02Speaker 4: Sorry as a gnat in here, Yeah, yeah, you can pick.
- 55:05Speaker 4: You can pick after that, because that in three years
- 55:08Speaker 4: she will be finished with the residency. And then it's
- 55:11Speaker 4: just based off of job choice, like if she wants
- 55:14Speaker 4: to get a job at a hospital, start her own clinic,
- 55:18Speaker 4: that sort of thing.
- 55:19Speaker 1: So how long have you been there in Saint Louis
- 55:21Speaker 1: Since May June July August, September, So two and a
- 55:26Speaker 1: half years you're back in Nashville.
- 55:27Speaker 3: You're coming back here, right, dude?
- 55:30Speaker 4: I will try my best. I mean I would love to.
- 55:34Speaker 4: We're going to try to have a kid in the
- 55:35Speaker 4: next year and a half or so, and so I
- 55:41Speaker 4: don't know if it'd be better to be closer to family.
- 55:46Speaker 4: Even if we were closer to family, it's still closer
- 55:48Speaker 4: to Nashville than it is here to Nashville. But I
- 55:51Speaker 4: would love to live in Nashville. I love Nashville.
- 55:54Speaker 1: We're slowly dropping his happiness level, but reminded me where
- 55:56Speaker 1: he is. I'm so far away from my family. A
- 56:00Speaker 1: couple more questions. This is just a recheck in for
- 56:02Speaker 1: the month. Do you watch any sports at all now
- 56:04Speaker 1: that you're not with us.
- 56:06Speaker 4: I watch a lot of highlights because I'm still pulling
- 56:09Speaker 4: a lot of clips. Like I saw that the Tesz
- 56:13Speaker 4: Johnson thing. I was like, hey, we know that guy. Yeah,
- 56:15Speaker 4: that's cool, which is super cool because that I didn't
- 56:18Speaker 4: recognize it at first. But as far as actually sitting
- 56:20Speaker 4: down and watching full games, no, not at all whatsoever. No,
- 56:26Speaker 4: not betting yet. It's it's almost legal. It's still not
- 56:28Speaker 4: legal yet.
- 56:29Speaker 3: We already told you how you can do it though
- 56:32Speaker 3: different ways.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Drive to the state line.
- 56:34Speaker 4: Drive over that line. That's fifteen minutes.
- 56:37Speaker 1: Yeah. Pick six is in Missouri.
- 56:39Speaker 4: Oh yeah, pick six.
- 56:40Speaker 3: Yep, you got options, baby.
- 56:42Speaker 4: That's true. I feel I don't know what my strategy
- 56:44Speaker 4: needs to be though, because now it's like when we
- 56:47Speaker 4: weren't married, I'm like, nobody's looking at my bank account,
- 56:50Speaker 4: nobody knows what I'm spending my money on. But now
- 56:53Speaker 4: it's like I got to be cautious about about that.
- 56:56Speaker 4: So it's like should I should I like go in
- 56:58Speaker 4: it with like, hey, hey give me fifty dollars every
- 57:03Speaker 4: two weeks to bet during like prime top sports.
- 57:06Speaker 1: Should I do it like that?
- 57:07Speaker 4: Or how do you guys do it?
- 57:08Speaker 6: Well?
- 57:08Speaker 1: I think well, I think we do differently, honestly, but there's.
- 57:11Speaker 3: No way boys in mine not the same, no way,
- 57:16Speaker 3: very true.
- 57:18Speaker 1: I don't know what the financial situation is there now,
- 57:21Speaker 1: I mean, are you are you? Or is she more
- 57:24Speaker 1: the breadwinner there?
- 57:25Speaker 4: Ironically I'm making more money than.
- 57:27Speaker 1: Her right now because she's in that early let's say
- 57:30Speaker 1: it's called like, is she called an intern even though
- 57:32Speaker 1: she's a doctor? Is that that what that stage is?
- 57:35Speaker 4: Resident intern?
- 57:36Speaker 1: Yes?
- 57:37Speaker 4: Yeah, so she's a first year essentially.
- 57:40Speaker 1: Still a doctor. But I didn't know that's a weird
- 57:42Speaker 1: thing doctor. So right now, until she's out of that
- 57:46Speaker 1: that part of the doctoral situation, that sounds great, dude, Yeah,
- 57:52Speaker 1: you're making more money than she is right.
- 57:53Speaker 4: Now, Yes, a wise man feels fantastic.
- 57:57Speaker 1: Well do you have you put your bank account together?
- 58:00Speaker 4: Yes? I have. I got a business checking, a business savings,
- 58:03Speaker 4: and then a personal checking, and that's what I use
- 58:05Speaker 4: to move money from the money that I put away
- 58:09Speaker 4: for taxes.
- 58:11Speaker 1: You don't have to give us.
- 58:13Speaker 6: It's like a man.
- 58:17Speaker 1: But I'm saying, though, do you guys share an account? Yes,
- 58:20Speaker 1: we do have a shared account, and so do you
- 58:22Speaker 1: watch the account? But both of you guys watch the account.
- 58:26Speaker 4: Funny enough, she doesn't even have logins to any of it.
- 58:30Speaker 1: She's just like, you're setting yourself self up success here?
- 58:33Speaker 1: Actually perfectly, she kind of she does.
- 58:35Speaker 4: She has no idea whatsoever.
- 58:36Speaker 3: She trusts him. That's where the problem is.
- 58:39Speaker 1: Well, she's working twelve hours a day, seven days a
- 58:41Speaker 1: week as a doctor. Like if you need somebody dependable,
- 58:45Speaker 1: you're looking at him right there. That's right, the guy
- 58:48Speaker 1: who had insurance money for five years and spending on
- 58:50Speaker 1: new breats.
- 58:51Speaker 3: But he has real insurance.
- 58:53Speaker 4: All right, Well, do the house is clean, man, laundry's done,
- 58:56Speaker 4: food is ready on the table when she gets home.
- 58:59Speaker 1: Wait, spend good. You're the housewife. You are.
- 59:03Speaker 4: Right, now I am, I'll take it.
- 59:05Speaker 3: You're going to stay at home.
- 59:08Speaker 4: I mean, I'm the daddy homemaker right now.
- 59:10Speaker 3: Hey, so when she works late, are you kind of
- 59:12Speaker 3: like sitting in the dark with the food that's cold
- 59:14Speaker 3: and you kind of look at her and be.
- 59:15Speaker 1: Like, well, where you've been you couldn't call, You couldn't call.
- 59:21Speaker 4: Well, I go pick her up? So I can't do that.
- 59:23Speaker 1: Oh, okay, you guys just share one car.
- 59:26Speaker 4: She's got a car, but it's lately we've just been
- 59:29Speaker 4: using my car. Yeah. Why safer, safer, more reliable.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Oh your car is yeah, my car is.
- 59:37Speaker 4: Yeah. And the parking garage that she would have to
- 59:40Speaker 4: park in it's like a fifteen minute walk and we
- 59:43Speaker 4: live like it's like a twenty minute walk from our place.
- 59:48Speaker 4: So it just makes sense for me to just drop
- 59:50Speaker 4: her off, all right, pick her up.
- 59:51Speaker 1: Well, I always wanted to check in and see how
- 59:53Speaker 1: you're doing. Sounds like you're doing pretty good. I got
- 59:55Speaker 1: a question.
- 59:55Speaker 3: Read, Yeah, you're a trip to Nashville. You got to
- 59:59Speaker 3: hang out with some of your old friends for a
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: little bit.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Like what did you guys do?
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: So? Uh, well, hanging out consisted of just getting rid
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: of a bunch of junks that I had at Dawson's
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: house and we got a U haul and uh that's
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: about it. Like we we we stayed up and played
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: some video games that night, drank some drank some bruise.
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: Felt great. The time before that we went salsa dancing.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: Oh and by we just him and just me and yeah,
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: yeah it was fun though, Yeah it was fun. I'll
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: be up there in a couple of weeks, though. How
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: much way to be lost around thirty LB's Wow?
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: A boy job, and what do you credit that to?
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: Uh? Well, credit to Kevin Klue right there, strength and conditioning,
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: and Bobby for letting me work out with y'all and
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: not have to pay.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: That's not true, but that's been that's been a while.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: You've lost most of this weight since then, since you
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: moved to Saint.
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: Louis, Yes, but I well, yeah, pretty much. Actually it
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: was mainly diet though, like the last four or five
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: months being in Nashville when I was dieting, and then
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: uh yeah, and then after moving just lifestyle changes like
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: eating at five o'clock and not. I still destroy some.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Oreos at night, but what about the beer and I'm.
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: Not eating talk I'll drink once a week weekend.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: When you were here, how much were you drinking?
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: Oh, I was probably drinking every couple of days. Not
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: a whole lot, but just like a beer to every
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: couple of Dayso games in late yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: still staying up late now though she goes to.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: Be you'll show them.
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: Hey, yeah, she goes to bed at like nine o'clock.
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: Though I can't do that, so I stay up.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Well, we're a helmet in your house because could be falling.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: You never know when the Amazon. I just ordered a helmet,
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: a skating helmet, so I.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Got one that's for skateboarding.
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: Actually, it actually just got in today. I need to
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: go get it. Oh, I can use it sleeping too now.
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: So I went to the dentist and I got a
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: mouse guard. So now my teeth are going to be protected.
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: Well that's because you have insurance now, dude, you didn't
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: have that before that.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: It was so good. It's fifteen out of ten.
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: Fantastic, fantastic. I miss you guys, miss you man.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: I talked to you. Somebody there he is all right,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Love you guys. Tiger Woods having a seventh back surgery.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Seventh Yeah, seventh. He's done, right, I mean he was
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: probably not, but when he had the seniors. But when
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: the car like was crashed into the ravine, we thought
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: that too. I thought was that before the Master's win.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: I was after the masters did he's had so much crap?
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: That was during cod I think.
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: That was the end, dude, that was the end that
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: that car wreck kind of did.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: Did every won them before that?
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: You're nineteen?
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I think you won the Lions Club event? Do
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: you remember? Do you remember the Lions in Austin? We
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: used to go play, Oh Lions the golf course. Yeah, didn'
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: you see like a fight in the parking lot where
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: somebody shot somebody?
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: Is that you No, that doesn't sound familiar.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: We used to play there and it wasn't the greatest
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: course at the time. It's a UNI and it was old.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: It could be now for the record, it might be
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: the greatest course ever. We don't know. It's time. They struggled.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: But they had a big net, like there was a
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: there was like a beat up road on the side
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: of it, kind of like a highway, but one they
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: should have fixed long time ago. And it had a
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: huge net on the side of it. They would keep
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: balls from hitting all the cars. That's the kind of
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: place where if you hit a car, they'd pull a
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: gun on you.
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: So yeah, that was probably in the middle of town.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: Now one more google, Mic, Well, you google Lions Club
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: Austin gun fight. It seems to me like there was
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: a and you know somebody that witnessed it. Yeah, not me,
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: or was like there right when it happened. Heck, I
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: don't know. Might have been me. It feels like a
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: lifetime ago. That's not where I flipped the cart right, No,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: that's a different course it was. Yeah. Do you see anything, Mike.
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: No, I'm not seeing anything.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Okay, it was a dream you had whatever. Man Tiger
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: Woods announced he underwent Lombard disc replacement surgery on October tenth.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: It's his seventh back surgery in eleven years. I said
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: it made it for his health. The fifteen time major
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: champion didn't mention how long the surgery would keep him
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: off the course. He hasn't played since he's lost in
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: the P ANDC Championship last year. I haven't played golf
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: in months. You should play months.
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: Since you beat Addy.
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: That can't be the last time you played with Did
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: you play.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: With your father in law? Oh? Yeah, I played like
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: you did eleven holes. Yeah, yeah, I think that's the
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: last time maybe, but I think I played with Danae.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: Hayes one time after that, but I haven't played in months. Yeah,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: you've played.
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: Played a couple times by myself, but with other people. Yeah,
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: I went by myself. They team me up with other people.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Do you like that? You don't mind that? You like people?
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: They got to be good, you know, they got to
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: be nice people. And for the most part, I get
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: teamed up with nice people. But I'd rather do The
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: best case scenario is to show up by myself and
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: they say, go ahead, by yourself.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: I love it. Oh yeah, music, if you're by yourself,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: it's the best. So good. What's up this weekend? You
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: wont the Titans game? Yeah?
- 1:05:19Speaker 5: The Patriots game?
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Yeah? You're gonna go the Titans game?
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: Patriot h Patriots Titans game going. And I'm gonna bring
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: the little ones guys five months old, no ticket needed, No,
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: two and under don't need a ticket.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: So are you just doing that because you can't find
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: a babysitter?
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: No, No, I want to bring them.
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: They're not gonna know what they're doing.
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: I don't care that. I want to be like when
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: they're like ten, I'll be like you guys, first game,
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: you're five months and you lost the Titans. No, no's Yeah,
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: I'm pump. My family is in town and we're going.
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: My dad, brother's sister, and the wife, the two babies.
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: We're going. It's gonna be awesome.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Oh, Patriots win.
- 1:05:55Speaker 5: I really hope they do too. Vrabel's return. There's gonna
- 1:05:58Speaker 5: be some very upset Titans fans.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: It's crazy. It's Rabels return and they just fired the
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: coach I know, like the same week they keep them
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: since they since they fired Vrabel.
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: Yeah, the tickets are so cheap. It's great they're.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: Paying you to go. Yeah. Well Cowboys.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: Cowboys play Washington in Dallas, three o'clock.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: Game. Should be a good game.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: I mean those are the ones that we might you know,
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: we might surprise you and win.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: Like see Arkansas plays Texas A and M on Saturday
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: at two thirty. I don't know, I feel pretty good
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: about it. Yeah, you're feeling good. I feel pretty good
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: about it. At its Arkansas again. This is this is
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: the first year that we've not played at Jerry's world.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Oh that's right. Stupid years We played there and it
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: was cool for like the first two years. But yeah,
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: now we're going home normal. So excited about that.
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: I don't know it might go. I don't know. Oh oh, okay, see,
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: I didn't know what we were talking about.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: I thought it was going to go last week. It's
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: a little further to go to Fabel, obviously than it
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: is to drive down the road. We've had this conversation
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: a lot, and I'm glad I didn't because we got whooped, correct, Tennessee.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: I'm glad I didn't right down the road because we lost,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: and then I lost after that with the Cubs. That's
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: a very bad day. Maybe they're just waiting for me
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: to come to win. That's what it is.
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: This is the one.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: It's gonna depend how my wife feels.
- 1:07:17Speaker 5: Hypothetically speaking, if would you on the field or.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: No, you would visit down the field right a little bit.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: So it's a complicated situation.
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: What do you want to know if you're going down
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: to the field to watch some of the game, right,
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: that's the question, right, Kevin.
- 1:07:36Speaker 5: Yeah, And then I thought about field storm. But then
- 1:07:38Speaker 5: your wife's in their mind you wouldn't even be.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: She might not even go to the game. She could
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: go with me over there and then not go to
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: the game. I doubt she'd want to go to the game.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: If we went, she'd want to she'd probably go over there.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: But our in law, our like DJ as a coach
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: at Arkansas Softball. I would imagine if we do go
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: and she's had no interest in going. I've not even
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: told her I wanted to go, that she'd just go
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: to his house.
- 1:08:01Speaker 5: Okay during the game, Well, yeah, you guys, yeah, and
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: DJ go.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Sure, Okay, I mean DJ probably is like bringing recruits
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: in and stuff, so I have enough people there. Could
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: I go on the field? Yes? Do I like go
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: on the field sometimes? Yes? A lot of times I'll
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: just sit up in a suite and watch a game,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: and that's cool too. But for a year and a half,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: I've not been vocally supportive of the football leadership. Now
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: they did fire the coach, but I've not been I
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: was one of the first like normals to be Hey,
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: I don't think this is working to the point where
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: I have another friend who's on a staff, is a
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: staff member on one of the coaching staff. That's all
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: I'll say it's not DJ one of the staff to
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: be like, hey, are you like anti the football team?
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: And so I think me being honest as a fan
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: has rubbed some people the wrong way in the athletic department.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: And you've never been anti. I'm anti nothing. I'm literally
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: I'm a pro win. I just want to win.
- 1:09:07Speaker 5: You're like a you're a real fan, but you have
- 1:09:09Speaker 5: this platform.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: I have a big platform, so it makes it awkward. Yeah,
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: so I don't know. But it's also weird too because
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: I donate a bunch of money and they don't. They're
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: not really that nice to me anymore as I'm donating money.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: But there's no way but I'm not donating money to
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: be nice. So I would have stop donated money. Right
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: If it was about them being nice to me, I
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: would have stopped donating. You're donating to win, baby, Yeah,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: not winning exactly. Well, yeah, that's a whole different story.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: But yes, yeah, so I don't know the answer to that.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: I got like my guy over there is Quinn Quinn
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Grovey who put quarterback at Arkansas, takes care of me.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: I don't even want I don't want season tickets because
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: I don't go enough every weekend, just like I think
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: I'm gonna go and I don't go, and that'd be
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: a kind of a waste.
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: Then you gotta get ready.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: So Quin's awesome. And even if I was going tones
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: see he was like, hey, let's go before you get
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: let's hang out before you get here. So love him.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: But like, there's people there that aren't that warm to
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: me because I have not been extremely state media, and
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: that's a bit what they want. They want state media,
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: meaning they want the media to reflect only positively about
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: the organization. So you are real media. I'm just an
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: idiot fan, that's all it is.
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: But there's no way, like if you guys sat in
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: a room or had dinner together, you guys would have
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: the same beliefs, the same opinions about things, like I
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: feel like you just like.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: That's their job, right, it's their job. Like let's say
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: that they go, hey, it's not just a had football coach,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: it's other people that are related to hiring the coach
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: that we should also get rid of them. So it's
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: so it's they probably feel it. So it's an awkward
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: situation At Arkansas. It is my absolute favorite thing in
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: the world. I don't root anything. But when when? When
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: have more of my money?
- 1:10:56Speaker 6: Here?
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: Have some more. We'll help have some more.
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: But I don't know a scale one through ten. How
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: much do you enjoy being there in person?
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Ten? Well, hold on because that's a quick answer. It's ten.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: That's my favorite place to be period.
- 1:11:11Speaker 5: More than do we?
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: I guess?
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: Yeah, you're bigger Arkansas. Yeah, if you were okay?
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: Yeah? Do we suck? Yes? Right now? Seven? Are we
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: pretty good? If we're pretty good? Or above ten if
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: we're below average? Seven? But you guys like, yeah, I
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: wuldn't even say you guys suck.
- 1:11:35Speaker 5: No, Like there's some bad teams. We lost him and
- 1:11:36Speaker 5: your quarterback is damn good.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: We lost to Memphis at Memphis. We're an SEC team.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: But at least it's entertaining games. You're entertaining to watch
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: till the end.
- 1:11:47Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, just leave halfway through the fourth course.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: We almost always win. So yeah, I may go. I
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: need to have to talk about wife to what she
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: thinks about it. She may just be like, go ahead
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: and go, I'll see you later. Yeah, that's what's up.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: So all right, we're all good. We're good.
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: I don't have any headphones. On so Mike's music playing
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: it is right, yep, all right, Uh, good luck to
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: the Patriots, thank you, good luck to the Cowboys.

- 1:12:35Speaker 1: Opie wins for the next six or seven games and
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: he gets the head coaching job. If he doesn't, that's
