- 1:12Speaker 3: Excellent, well said.
- 1:13Speaker 4: Now I have to rush out after the news to

- 1:20Speaker 2: for the next two weeks. She is having she's having
- 1:26Speaker 2: a moog job a breast on just one.
- 1:29Speaker 3: That's the point.
- 1:31Speaker 5: Yeah, because what's funny because what she decided it will
- 1:34Speaker 5: try one, see how it works out, and if it
- 1:37Speaker 5: works out, we'll go for the other one.
- 1:41Speaker 6: Wow.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Okay, I'm going to have a breast reduction, So looking
- 1:47Speaker 1: forward to that.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Yeah, you have moves, don't you.
- 1:50Speaker 4: I got some moves, Yeah you do. Actually you want
- 1:54Speaker 4: to tune in Tokyo.
- 1:55Speaker 3: And some I've seen them. I've seen them all right, Cono.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Good morning?
- 2:00Speaker 3: That not after that picture growth? Hello Amy? Hello?
- 2:06Speaker 4: Bill?
- 2:07Speaker 2: Uh there is the lovely will Cole Schreiber. Okay, what
- 2:11Speaker 2: is that Fox Sports?
- 2:12Speaker 3: On your Fox?
- 2:15Speaker 4: Baha?
- 2:15Speaker 7: They have a lockdown in Baja where the fake Titanic
- 2:19Speaker 7: is for when they shot that movie.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Oh, I do.
- 2:23Speaker 4: That's right. We're still there.
- 2:24Speaker 3: It's still there. It's a big set, isn't it. I
- 2:26Speaker 3: mean it's.
- 2:29Speaker 2: You know that. Well, first listen, I'm going to give
- 2:31Speaker 2: you a quick story. I'll say hello or say hello.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Then a quick story, and Michelle is here and she'll
- 2:35Speaker 2: be here for the next two weeks.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Hello Hello.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Michelle who had been with us with this show for
- 2:40Speaker 2: twenty five years before twenty six years before she was
- 2:44Speaker 2: able to bail the hell out of here.
- 2:46Speaker 4: The PTSD coming back.
- 2:47Speaker 6: Yet a little bit at that alarm this morning.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I already forgot the story I was going to
- 2:53Speaker 2: tell you, just be It was about Baja Tic Titanic,
- 2:58Speaker 2: what it was like on the ship with sets. Oh, okay,
- 3:00Speaker 2: got it, got it. I just remember now, as you've heard,
- 3:04Speaker 2: have you've heard many a time before, I have one
- 3:07Speaker 2: of the best jobs I ever had, maybe the best
- 3:08Speaker 2: job I ever had. I was a tour guide at
- 3:11Speaker 2: Universal Studios for a few years. And those were the
- 3:15Speaker 2: days when it was you really had to know your
- 3:18Speaker 2: stuff because you got hired as a tour guide and
- 3:22Speaker 2: you were given a three or four inch binder of
- 3:26Speaker 2: every movie, every fact, all the timelines that happened at
- 3:31Speaker 2: Universal Studios from its founding with Carl Lemley back in
- 3:34Speaker 2: nineteen fifteen. Already I remember this crap all the way
- 3:38Speaker 2: through today today being.
- 3:41Speaker 3: The current day.
- 3:42Speaker 2: And one of the things that and we used to
- 3:44Speaker 2: go through sets if they weren't being used, we would
- 3:48Speaker 2: go through we're called hot sets, couldn't touch anything because
- 3:51Speaker 2: they're currently being used. So and one of the things
- 3:56Speaker 2: one of the sets we would go to it was
- 3:58Speaker 2: just not being used was the old sound stage twenty eight.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Sound Stage twenty eight was a silent movie set, a
- 4:06Speaker 2: sound stage. I didn't have a soundproofing or anything. And
- 4:09Speaker 2: it was a tin roof and it was very old fashioned.
- 4:12Speaker 2: It had the original set from the original Phantom of
- 4:15Speaker 2: the Opera, the opera set wo and it filled the
- 4:19Speaker 2: entire sound stage and it was absolutely extraordinary. I mean,
- 4:25Speaker 2: this is where Lon Cheney Senior was the Phantom, and
- 4:29Speaker 2: I think it was nineteen twenty three, nineteen twenty four,
- 4:33Speaker 2: and there it was the whole set. I mean it
- 4:35Speaker 2: was basically the inside of a major opera house and
- 4:39Speaker 2: it was.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Only about five years different by the time you worked there, right.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, good, good job.
- 4:45Speaker 2: And it was and when and they got rid of
- 4:47Speaker 2: it because they needed the footprint, and it was just
- 4:51Speaker 2: it was horrible.
- 4:52Speaker 3: It was that was that's a heartbreaker. What are you
- 4:55Speaker 3: gonna do?
- 4:55Speaker 2: You gonna hang on to sets? There are some sets
- 4:58Speaker 2: that are so big that just they have to be destroyed.
- 5:00Speaker 2: I mean movies that are so spectacular, For example, the
- 5:03Speaker 2: Titanic set, they couldn't put it any place other than
- 5:07Speaker 2: in a major facility. By the way, have you been
- 5:11Speaker 2: to the Titanic set will no, I haven't no, okay,
- 5:15Speaker 2: I'm wondering if anybody has here. And did they make
- 5:18Speaker 2: a theme park out of it?
- 5:21Speaker 4: A water park? Yeah?
- 5:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that's very strong, very strong, And they know it's
- 5:25Speaker 2: crazy build when you go back, because I follow a
- 5:28Speaker 2: lot of the props and sets and costumes in auction is.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Back in the day, they were just a femera. They
- 5:35Speaker 1: weren't meant to stay. They were constantly turning these things
- 5:38Speaker 1: into other sets and other things all the time. And
- 5:43Speaker 1: now if you find any of this stuff, it's oh
- 5:46Speaker 1: fortunate millions.
- 5:47Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, the old movie stuff I love.
- 5:52Speaker 2: And then of course that's some of the most collectible
- 5:54Speaker 2: stuff on the planet. Was it Roger Ebert or Jeene Siskel?
- 5:59Speaker 2: Who who is the fat one? I think, yeah, the
- 6:04Speaker 2: other the other one's kind of dead right, well they're both,
- 6:08Speaker 2: are they?
- 6:09Speaker 3: I cannot know.
- 6:09Speaker 2: The fat guy lost a lot of weight, especially after
- 6:13Speaker 2: he died.
- 6:13Speaker 4: Well he had cancer too.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Oh good, So now you're pointing out, how what a
- 6:19Speaker 2: delightful person I am a heart of goal.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Thank you for that.
- 6:22Speaker 7: So the set is gone, the ship is gone, It's
- 6:25Speaker 7: still Abaja Studios is still a working movie studio, but
- 6:30Speaker 7: it's gone.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:32Speaker 2: In any case, Uh, I think it was Cisco or Ebert,
- 6:35Speaker 2: one of the two who bought the that white outfit,
- 6:40Speaker 2: that white pants suit, if you will, that Travolta used
- 6:44Speaker 2: in the movie. Really, Yeah, he bought it and he
- 6:49Speaker 2: spent he spent big bugs for it, and of course
- 6:52Speaker 2: they quadrupled in value. Uh. And what do you think
- 6:57Speaker 2: of an original set of ruby red slippers? Are there
- 7:00Speaker 2: were three of them?
- 7:01Speaker 4: You should go down that rabbit hole.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Sometime they went missing, and you know, you know, within
- 7:07Speaker 1: the last ten years, I think a costume company in
- 7:11Speaker 1: London came across.
- 7:13Speaker 4: What they used as a you know, like a.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Friar's robe or something, and they looked, someone looked inside
- 7:20Speaker 1: and it was actually the robe that was used for
- 7:23Speaker 1: Obi Wan Kenobi in the original Star Wars film No.
- 7:27Speaker 6: One knews the polyester suit.
- 7:29Speaker 4: You could work.
- 7:30Speaker 6: Yes, for two hundred and sixty thousand dollars, it says
- 7:33Speaker 6: anonymous buyer. But I've heard the same thing that one
- 7:35Speaker 6: of those guys bought it. Yeah, two hundred and sixty
- 7:38Speaker 6: thousand dollars.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Can you imagine? And so today, of course I can't
- 7:42Speaker 2: even imagine be worth today. I mean, it's completely crazy.
- 7:44Speaker 6: And the original suit only cost one hundred bucks. Of
- 7:47Speaker 6: course they got another thrift.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Shop and the problem with those it's too easy to
- 7:52Speaker 2: counterfeit those because you have to you know, look at
- 7:57Speaker 2: when it was made and with a polyester suit or
- 7:59Speaker 2: all replace and then the providences that the province I
- 8:04Speaker 2: think they use it and you have to trace it
- 8:06Speaker 2: down where it.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Oh, they try and do what they call screen matching
- 8:10Speaker 1: to see if there's certain telltale signs.
- 8:13Speaker 8: Can't they do DNA testing?
- 8:17Speaker 9: You know, it has to be sweat nowadays or in
- 8:22Speaker 9: certain certain circumstances, other bodily fluids, depending on how much
- 8:26Speaker 9: time they had between the takes.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Okay, why don't we get out of here? All right? No,
- 8:32Speaker 3: we just got here. We start handle the Yeah.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Why don't we start handle on the news? What do
- 8:37Speaker 2: you think, Amy Neil and me lead.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Story laws man, No surprise that.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Gk N Aerospace, the whole facility that blew up in
- 8:56Speaker 2: Garden Grove, that horrific accident. More more than forty lawsuits
- 9:01Speaker 2: have already been filed, and it only happened a few
- 9:04Speaker 2: days ago. It gets to the point now where as
- 9:06Speaker 2: this scene blew up and people were flying all over
- 9:10Speaker 2: the place. It was horrific, and several people died. That
- 9:14Speaker 2: before some of them hit the ground, the lawsuit was
- 9:17Speaker 2: already filed while they were in the air, lost people displaced. Yeah, now,
- 9:25Speaker 2: oh that's right.
- 9:25Speaker 3: That was the other one.
- 9:26Speaker 2: That that was the one Washington, that that that died.
- 9:30Speaker 2: That one blew up. This was just a leak. But
- 9:33Speaker 2: already the lawsuits have hit. Oh god, no one waits anymore.
- 9:38Speaker 2: No one waits two minutes anymore before the lawsuits.
- 9:42Speaker 4: File, says the attorney.
- 9:45Speaker 2: And I can't even imagine the hustling that goes on
- 9:49Speaker 2: with attorneys going after anybody involved. Hi, I'm your new
- 9:54Speaker 2: best friend. Hi, I want to talk to you. Yeah,
- 9:57Speaker 2: this is the best of the best. Okay, one more,
- 9:59Speaker 2: we'll take a break.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Amy.
- 10:01Speaker 8: There's a deal, but it's not a done deal. US
- 10:04Speaker 8: and Iranian negotiators have reached a tenant of agreement to
- 10:07Speaker 8: extend the ceasefire by sixty days and start a new
- 10:12Speaker 8: round of talks on Iran's nuclear program. Weren't they already
- 10:15Speaker 8: doing that? Iran didn't immediately confirm it. Vice President Advance
- 10:19Speaker 8: did confirm there was a tentative agreement, but says President
- 10:23Speaker 8: Trump would have to approve it, and Trump is saying,
- 10:25Speaker 8: I'm going to take my time and take a look
- 10:27Speaker 8: at it.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, it's really interesting how the whole world is.
- 10:31Speaker 2: President Trump, I will decide, I will make that choice.
- 10:34Speaker 4: I am.
- 10:36Speaker 2: I'm going to do this without any input from anybody
- 10:39Speaker 2: or any Congress. Now, look at what we're hearing, and
- 10:43Speaker 2: that is this.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Part of the negotiation.
- 10:47Speaker 2: And if it goes through, opening the strait of horror,
- 10:50Speaker 2: moves back to where it was prior to the Iran
- 10:54Speaker 2: incursion and basically talking about something along the line of
- 11:00Speaker 2: some kind of control on the enriched uranium. And people
- 11:05Speaker 2: think it's going to go back to where we were
- 11:08Speaker 2: when Obama cut a deal which President Trump kicked us
- 11:13Speaker 2: out of. He pulled us out of that deal because
- 11:14Speaker 2: it was the worst deal in history. So so far,
- 11:18Speaker 2: it's the story of horror moves OH. Sanctions being lifted
- 11:20Speaker 2: against Iran for the most part, and the blockade of
- 11:26Speaker 2: the Iranian ports by the United States is also on
- 11:30Speaker 2: the table. We're going to be at the same place
- 11:32Speaker 2: we were prior to the war. Starting thirty five billion
- 11:36Speaker 2: dollars later, we're going to be not really advanced. I'll
- 11:40Speaker 2: beat some talk and both sides are going to declare victory.
- 11:43Speaker 2: You know that, don't you. It's a victory no matter what.
- 11:47Speaker 2: It's pretty insane. It is big, expensive rocket.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Goes boom boom, boom, boom, a lot of booms. Saw
- 11:57Speaker 1: this last night online. Rocket built by Jeff Bezos company
- 12:04Speaker 1: Blue Origin. They were doing this test basically that was
- 12:09Speaker 1: to fire the seven engines in the booster stage, but
- 12:12Speaker 1: they want to keep the rocket firmly held down to
- 12:15Speaker 1: the launch pad.
- 12:16Speaker 4: And you just see, you.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Know, the normal traditional bloom come out from underneath the rocket,
- 12:23Speaker 1: and then it goes up the rocket and then just
- 12:27Speaker 1: blows to pieces. And all you can think about is, man,
- 12:31Speaker 1: that's expensive, but an impressive explosion.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Nonetheless, and I understand that this really screws up the
- 12:42Speaker 2: Bezos bezos basic influence and moving into Artemis three, I
- 12:49Speaker 2: think is a problem on the way to the Moon
- 12:51Speaker 2: because this rocket was going to be a big part
- 12:52Speaker 2: of it. Quickly, I want to mention that if anybody
- 12:55Speaker 2: is interested in getting a piece or two of this rocket,
- 12:58Speaker 2: they can deliver it by this out get.
- 13:01Speaker 4: It to you in three hours. Yeah, no one was hurt,
- 13:06Speaker 4: thank god.
- 13:06Speaker 1: So I want to say that joking around, no one
- 13:09Speaker 1: was hurt, and that was the first thing came out.
- 13:12Speaker 8: But a lot of times, like even when they have
- 13:14Speaker 8: these epic fails, like when you talk to Elon Musk,
- 13:18Speaker 8: he's like, that's okay, Like even though it's stupid expensive,
- 13:21Speaker 8: they go, it's okay because we're learning stuff.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Something goes wrong.
- 13:26Speaker 2: I think that's Elon Musk with his attitude towards these
- 13:31Speaker 2: I don't think anybody else thinks that way.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Bezos is just ticked. Yeah, and Musk is interesting.
- 13:37Speaker 2: You know when he first started, and it's a great story,
- 13:39Speaker 2: when he first started doing space X in the rockets,
- 13:42Speaker 2: he had enough money, I believe, for three launches, fully
- 13:47Speaker 2: expecting them to fail, and all three failed. And it's
- 13:51Speaker 2: either two failed or three failed. And he was able
- 13:54Speaker 2: to hobble enough money or cobble enough money to finally
- 13:58Speaker 2: make the last one, which he was going not going
- 14:01Speaker 2: to and it succeeded, and that got his start with
- 14:05Speaker 2: NASA because he had to launch a successful rocket. Today,
- 14:08Speaker 2: you look at SpaceX rockets, they're like you go to
- 14:11Speaker 2: a bus stop and pick up a bus.
- 14:12Speaker 3: I mean, they are so reliable.
- 14:14Speaker 1: He has launched so many satellites into space.
- 14:19Speaker 4: Much he has.
- 14:20Speaker 3: He has eighty percent of the market, the world market.
- 14:23Speaker 8: Insane, President Trump in your wallet. Treasury Secretary Scott Besson
- 14:30Speaker 8: has confirmed that they're working on a mockup of a
- 14:32Speaker 8: two hundred and fifty dollars bill with guess who's face
- 14:34Speaker 8: on it, President Trump.
- 14:38Speaker 4: It would be got a producer.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Michelle sent the picture of a mock up, and it
- 14:43Speaker 1: looks like David Lynch.
- 14:44Speaker 3: It's not a great photo to you.
- 14:47Speaker 4: It's weird. I don't know what I think you like.
- 14:49Speaker 2: So his hair looks wind swept or you know, he
- 14:53Speaker 2: has that continence about him where he's Yeah, he has
- 14:58Speaker 2: that incontinence about him where he is looking very angry
- 15:03Speaker 2: looking down, because that's sort of the look I think
- 15:06Speaker 2: that he likes.
- 15:07Speaker 4: Yeah, he's made it.
- 15:09Speaker 2: It's not going to happen, I don't think, because Congress
- 15:12Speaker 2: has to vote it.
- 15:14Speaker 3: And we'll talk more about the seven o'clock.
- 15:16Speaker 2: I'm gonna give you a little bit of history and
- 15:17Speaker 2: a little bit of handle history in terms of what
- 15:20Speaker 2: bills were out there. I think you're going to be
- 15:23Speaker 2: surprised at to what was floating out there.
- 15:27Speaker 1: All right, Well, we were all being shut in during
- 15:29Speaker 1: the COVID nineteen pandemic.
- 15:33Speaker 4: And whatnot.
- 15:34Speaker 1: You had a person they referred to as the party mom,
- 15:38Speaker 1: Shannon Marie O'Connor from Los Gatos. Guilty on forty eight
- 15:44Speaker 1: charges thirty eight years and ten months in prison. So
- 15:50Speaker 1: this includes sexual penetration of intoxicated victim, influencing a child
- 15:56Speaker 1: to engage in sexual activity with another child, providing alcohol
- 15:59Speaker 1: to minor, annoying or molesting a child, and attempting to
- 16:04Speaker 1: dissuade a witness from reporting a crime. What she said
- 16:08Speaker 1: to have these parties, Yeah, these parties. But what she
- 16:11Speaker 1: says or through her attorney, is that this was O'Connor's.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Her actions were attempts to improve her teen's social life
- 16:22Speaker 1: during the COVID nineteen pandemic. Okay, it sounds like his
- 16:25Speaker 1: social life got pretty good.
- 16:26Speaker 2: You just don't want to do it good now, she's
- 16:28Speaker 2: not the One part of this that I find interesting
- 16:31Speaker 2: is she's not being charged with actually having sex with
- 16:34Speaker 2: those miners, just facilitating it and getting these kids drunk.
- 16:39Speaker 3: And I don't think she did.
- 16:40Speaker 6: I think it was the teens amongst them.
- 16:42Speaker 3: I think she just was a director.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Wait a second, it's one of the charges included sexual
- 16:48Speaker 1: penetration of an intoxicated victim.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Yeah, but that is not a rate that's prob. Is
- 16:53Speaker 2: that sexual penetration? Well, I mean, so's it's a woman,
- 16:57Speaker 2: so it had to be with some object I'm assuming
- 17:01Speaker 2: as but.
- 17:03Speaker 1: She participated in that. She's not a proctologist.
- 17:09Speaker 8: Yes, Shrey is the spelling hero of the day. Fourteen
- 17:17Speaker 8: year old Trey Periq is the Script's National Spelling Bee champion.
- 17:23Speaker 8: Why is that a big deal. Well, he's from Kono
- 17:26Speaker 8: r Coka Manga. Look how proud is he goes to
- 17:30Speaker 8: Day Creek Intermediate. He won in the spell off. So
- 17:35Speaker 8: after like thirteen rounds or something, they have the spell
- 17:37Speaker 8: off with the final two and he whipped through thirty
- 17:41Speaker 8: two words to become the best speller in the English language.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Yeah, now this is interesting. Look at the names of
- 17:48Speaker 2: the first the top three. Okay, You've got Shrey Pottique.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Then you have a kid named what is it a
- 17:58Speaker 2: Star of the hotter Vine or Dad Havanni, and then
- 18:02Speaker 2: Faisan Zaki. And these are all immigrant kids or where
- 18:07Speaker 2: parents were immigrants. And I love stories like this because
- 18:11Speaker 2: when people this is a great definition of what America
- 18:16Speaker 2: is about for immigrants, why America is such a great
- 18:20Speaker 2: place for people to come to, the land of opportunity.
- 18:25Speaker 3: Pretty good also, as I said yesterday, and that is wonderful.
- 18:27Speaker 2: And I said yesterday, you know, they get these kids,
- 18:30Speaker 2: and that was when they were leaving North Vietnam. They
- 18:34Speaker 2: would be on boats and travel thirty five hundred miles
- 18:38Speaker 2: and these little rickety boats and half of them would
- 18:40Speaker 2: be eaten by sharks. And they hit the United States.
- 18:44Speaker 2: They come on ashore and a week later they win
- 18:46Speaker 2: the spelling Bee, not having spoken a word of English
- 18:49Speaker 2: a week before.
- 18:50Speaker 3: I mean, it's terrific.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Because they take an advantage properly of the opportunity where
- 18:56Speaker 1: everyone else is fat. They appreciate, appreciate. Con was so
- 19:02Speaker 1: excited about this because I E. He texted me this morning, goes,
- 19:07Speaker 1: we won the spelling Bee and B was spelled b.
- 19:10Speaker 3: E very well said it was.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I didn't have the heart to tell him, so I
- 19:16Speaker 1: thought I'd just share it with everybody on the airways.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Okay, it's like be. It's a lot like ya.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Okay, pay im Bondi back in the news. Unfortunately, we
- 19:26Speaker 1: heard about her cancer and illness today. It's something different.
- 19:31Speaker 1: This is dealing with the Epstein probe. She is this
- 19:36Speaker 1: is what fifteen months after saying that a list of
- 19:40Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's clients was sitting.
- 19:42Speaker 4: On my desk right now.
- 19:45Speaker 1: You pointed that out multiple times, Handle, and she is
- 19:51Speaker 1: being asked about as the former attorney general to testify
- 19:56Speaker 1: on overseeing the release of all these documents and the.
- 20:02Speaker 4: I don't know lack thereof.
- 20:05Speaker 1: She initially pledged to release the files related Epstein, telling
- 20:08Speaker 1: Fox News interviewers shortly after she took office in February
- 20:12Speaker 1: of twenty twenty five that a client list was sitting
- 20:16Speaker 1: on my desk right now to review. Bondy later clarified
- 20:20Speaker 1: that she met materials related to Epstein was sitting.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Oh please, who are we kidding now? The release of
- 20:27Speaker 2: the Epstein files was a huge argument and basis for
- 20:32Speaker 2: Trump running for president because he nailed into Joe Biden,
- 20:36Speaker 2: and as soon as the president became president, then the
- 20:38Speaker 2: Epstein files were not going to be released, and they weren't.
- 20:41Speaker 2: And one of the reasons she got balanced is that
- 20:43Speaker 2: she wasn't that adamant about not releasing files. I think
- 20:48Speaker 2: the president a little upset with her, to say the least,
- 20:52Speaker 2: because she because she had said to release those files.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Assuming I got that right, I don't just leave it alone.
- 21:05Speaker 8: Who is number one and who's number two? Well, there's
- 21:08Speaker 8: a poll, lots of polls coming out leading up to
- 21:11Speaker 8: the election that shows voters are closely divided among the
- 21:15Speaker 8: candidates who are trying to replace or succeed Governor Newsom.
- 21:20Speaker 8: The new poll by UC Berkeley's Institute of Governmental Studies
- 21:24Speaker 8: shows Javier Bessera has twenty five percent support, Republican Steve
- 21:29Speaker 8: Hilton has twenty one percent support, and nineteen percent are
- 21:33Speaker 8: backing Hedge Fund founder turned environmental activist Tom Steyer. The
- 21:39Speaker 8: rest are pretty far behind that.
- 21:41Speaker 2: Now, can you imagine if you have the two leaders,
- 21:44Speaker 2: Steve Hilton and Bisera, who are pretty close, and Steve
- 21:48Speaker 2: Hilton has the kind of support I mean, the guys
- 21:51Speaker 2: you know, Republican trumpst.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Why would it be so close.
- 21:56Speaker 2: I think this has more to say the way people
- 21:57Speaker 2: view Gavin Newsom anything else. This is more if Hilton
- 22:03Speaker 2: comes in or even in support, now is more anti
- 22:05Speaker 2: Newsom because Newsom is so hated by so many people
- 22:09Speaker 2: in Southern County, California in general, It's going to be
- 22:12Speaker 2: interesting I think, but Sarah's going to take it.
- 22:14Speaker 3: But you know I've been wrong.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Yeah, probably, but regardless, this game, this speaks volumes. Yeah,
- 22:20Speaker 1: all right, Martina McBride, you've got Morris Day.
- 22:25Speaker 4: And others.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Just a wave of cancelations for the Freedom two hundred
- 22:31Speaker 1: and fifty concert. This is going to take place on
- 22:35Speaker 1: Washington's National Mall in June and July, and the.
- 22:41Speaker 4: You know the.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Lineup that they had, now they've got this wave of cancelations.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Young MC is on there, the Commodores as well. It's
- 22:50Speaker 1: supposed this group is supposed to Freedom two fifty was
- 22:55Speaker 1: launched by Trump last year, but it describes itself as
- 22:58Speaker 1: a national, nonpartisan an organization leading the celebration of our
- 23:02Speaker 1: nation's two hundred and fiftieth birthday.
- 23:04Speaker 4: That sucks.
- 23:05Speaker 3: All this sucks, Yeah, I'd say it's allid, You're right.
- 23:08Speaker 2: And who are the main headliners and the spokespeople for
- 23:14Speaker 2: this entire event? Millie Vanilli and I find that fascinating
- 23:18Speaker 2: that they have been deemed the spokespeople.
- 23:19Speaker 1: You know, it sounds like you're joking, but you're not.
- 23:24Speaker 1: They actually they actually are. Uh do you hear what
- 23:31Speaker 1: did you hear? What they had to say.
- 23:32Speaker 2: By the way, they said, okay, moving on top it.
- 23:42Speaker 6: Now, the one that's still alive is a really good singer.
- 23:46Speaker 6: He is, He's a very good singer.
- 23:49Speaker 4: Then why didn't they use him?
- 23:51Speaker 6: I don't know, I don't know.
- 23:54Speaker 3: You know, we look at the backstory of this. The promoter.
- 23:59Speaker 2: They they got in some kind of an altercation money wise,
- 24:02Speaker 2: and the promoter set it up that they would be
- 24:05Speaker 2: lip syncing and not using their singing voices, I think
- 24:08Speaker 2: during performance instead of recordings. And he said, I'm gonna
- 24:11Speaker 2: I'm gonna blow it open and let everybody know. And
- 24:14Speaker 2: they played chicken and he blew it open. And of
- 24:18Speaker 2: course that became such a huge scandal of Millie Vanilly
- 24:22Speaker 2: lip syncing and never a word was uttered in a
- 24:27Speaker 2: concert by them. Remember that that was a great story, girl,
- 24:32Speaker 2: You know it's true. Now let's go ahead and before
- 24:35Speaker 2: we finish it up, finish up panel on the news,
- 24:38Speaker 2: Neil tell us what's going on with the Dodgers?
- 24:40Speaker 1: Boy, what I love to bill Your official your official
- 24:44Speaker 1: home for Dodgers Baseball is AM five seventy LA Sports. Tonight,
- 24:50Speaker 1: you're back to back world champion Dodgers take on the
- 24:52Speaker 1: Phillies with first Pitch at seven. Listen on AM five
- 24:56Speaker 1: to seventy LA Sports and streaming on the iHeartRadio app
- 25:00Speaker 1: from the gallpin Ford Broadcast Boot.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Okay, let's go ahead and to you Bill, Oh, thank
- 25:07Speaker 2: you very much.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Hey, thanks Neil. That was really good and spontaneous timeline.
- 25:12Speaker 4: Happy Friday, buddy, you got that one right.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Okay, Now let's finish up handle on the news with
- 25:19Speaker 2: the Amy Neil and me.
- 25:20Speaker 8: I know a lot of people with guns who are
- 25:22Speaker 8: not going to be happy about this. A measure in
- 25:26Speaker 8: Oregon known as Petition twenty eight has gathered over one
- 25:29Speaker 8: hundred and twenty thousand signatures. That's more than needed to
- 25:32Speaker 8: get it on the ballot in November. If all the
- 25:35Speaker 8: signatures are verified, the law would expand the state's animal
- 25:40Speaker 8: cruelty laws and remove exemptions from laws that apply to
- 25:43Speaker 8: various occupational and recreational activities. What does that mean, Well,
- 25:47Speaker 8: this is what it means. If the measure passes and
- 25:50Speaker 8: becomes law, it would ban hunting and fishing in the state.
- 25:57Speaker 8: Hunting and fishing is a big thing in Oregon. Would
- 26:00Speaker 8: also ban the use of animals in rodeos, castrating, or
- 26:04Speaker 8: neutering livestock, doing scientific research on animals, slaughtering livestock. The
- 26:10Speaker 8: guy behind it says, we want people to actually recognize
- 26:13Speaker 8: that this is a choice that we could make, to
- 26:16Speaker 8: shift away from killing animals to treating all of those
- 26:19Speaker 8: other animals the same way we treat our companion animals.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Oh, no more meat, because you can't slaughter animals anymore.
- 26:29Speaker 2: I have a question about sporting too. Why they call
- 26:32Speaker 2: hunting a sporting event. Now, if the deer had guns
- 26:37Speaker 2: shooting at you, that would be sporting.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Yeah, that would be somewhat sporting. But it's not fair.
- 26:43Speaker 3: It really isn't.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, yeah, that's going to go real far.
- 26:47Speaker 2: And Amy, you are an Oregonian. What are the chances
- 26:51Speaker 2: of anything like this getting getting even nearer to passing?
- 26:55Speaker 3: Or are people crazy enough in Oregon? Well, okay, so
- 26:57Speaker 3: here's the deal.
- 27:00Speaker 8: Portland is extremely liberal. It has turned that way. The
- 27:05Speaker 8: rest of the state is not, but Portland is, and
- 27:08Speaker 8: that's where most of the people are. So who knows,
- 27:12Speaker 8: Maybe it could, and then everybody in Oregon would be
- 27:15Speaker 8: forced to be a vegan. I know tons of people
- 27:19Speaker 8: who hunt, tons of people who hunt.
- 27:21Speaker 4: Maybe they can hunt the people of Portland. Nah, that
- 27:26Speaker 4: seems wrong.
- 27:28Speaker 2: And the only thing they're missing. No slaughtering of livestock.
- 27:31Speaker 2: How about soilent green? Huh that may be the only
- 27:34Speaker 2: thing that's left.
- 27:35Speaker 8: Oh yeah, because it's not livestock, that's correct.
- 27:39Speaker 4: It's so green is people?
- 27:47Speaker 3: Click?
- 27:48Speaker 4: All right?
- 27:48Speaker 1: So this if you haven't seen this video, it is
- 27:54Speaker 1: one of those amazing videos from the cops. Body cam
- 28:01Speaker 1: pulls over traffic citation for a woman in Florida. He's saying,
- 28:06Speaker 1: I saw you holding your phone in your right hand,
- 28:10Speaker 1: and she said, excuse me. He said you were holding
- 28:13Speaker 1: your phone. She goes, no, I wasn't. You were holding
- 28:17Speaker 1: your phone, ma'am in your right hand. And she goes
- 28:20Speaker 1: in my right hand.
- 28:21Speaker 4: Are you sure?
- 28:22Speaker 1: And he says yes, and then he makes her She
- 28:26Speaker 1: goes no, and he goes She goes, I was not.
- 28:30Speaker 4: He goes hand to God or something like that, and
- 28:32Speaker 4: she goes yes.
- 28:33Speaker 1: She raises her right arm and doesn't have a hand,
- 28:37Speaker 1: and he's still tickets hert and he's still the guy
- 28:41Speaker 1: would not He's the biggest fool on the internet.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Can you imagine what that makes the of course the
- 28:46Speaker 2: charges were dropped.
- 28:47Speaker 4: But yeah, so that's the whole They were.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Just her and and then the police department came up
- 28:52Speaker 2: with some crapola. But it's absolutely hilarious as opposed saying, oops,
- 28:57Speaker 2: I thought you were and he says somebody you had
- 29:00Speaker 2: one hand and it looked that way or something completely stupid.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Well, either she was driving with no hands on the
- 29:07Speaker 1: wheel and has it in her left hand, or it
- 29:11Speaker 1: doesn't happen.
- 29:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I said so stupid.
- 29:14Speaker 4: Waw whah.
- 29:18Speaker 8: Where are all the young'uns. A study has found that
- 29:23Speaker 8: nearly a quarter of the US workforce is over the
- 29:26Speaker 8: age of fifty five, and that number is rising. The
- 29:31Speaker 8: findings come from my Perfect Resume their Oldest Occupations Report.
- 29:36Speaker 8: Researchers use data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics to
- 29:40Speaker 8: analyze age compositions the national workforce aging trends. There shows
- 29:46Speaker 8: growth among fifty five plus workers occupations with the highest
- 29:50Speaker 8: share of older workers, the fastest aging occupation, and the
- 29:52Speaker 8: older roles continuing to age quickly. Farmers, ranchers, other agricultural
- 29:58Speaker 8: managers fifty five percent or over fifty five. School bus
- 30:03Speaker 8: drivers fifty two percent are over fifty five, transit and
- 30:07Speaker 8: inner city bus drivers forty eight percent, clergy forty two percent, bookkeeping, accounting, auditing,
- 30:14Speaker 8: forty percent, CEOs, thirty nine percent are over fifty five.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Have you noticed that? And when you go to fast
- 30:21Speaker 3: food establishments.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Or you go to a Target or a Walmart or
- 30:24Speaker 2: a costco, how many people that are even of social
- 30:28Speaker 2: security age you're working?
- 30:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean very depressing. Well, it depends on why
- 30:35Speaker 3: they're doing it.
- 30:36Speaker 2: The ones that are doing it because they have nothing
- 30:38Speaker 2: to do, because they're bored and they just want something
- 30:40Speaker 2: to do.
- 30:40Speaker 3: It's one thing.
- 30:41Speaker 2: But the ones that need it to supplement their social
- 30:44Speaker 2: security because they're making it because they can't afford to
- 30:47Speaker 2: clean their dumpsters every other week. The cleaning lady can't
- 30:51Speaker 2: be can't be paid. That is depressing. And point is,
- 30:55Speaker 2: of course, you don't know how many there are. I
- 30:56Speaker 2: think there are studies out there that show which which
- 31:01Speaker 2: group of people are doing what. I think more and
- 31:03Speaker 2: more people are doing this because they have to.
- 31:06Speaker 1: It's also because they're the only labor that's consistent these days.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true. They show up. They Yeah, it's.
- 31:14Speaker 4: True work ethic.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Hey can we just end really quickly on burning Man's
- 31:19Speaker 1: orgy dome?
- 31:20Speaker 8: Yes, that's great, Yes.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Come up, Amy have you been there? No? No, wow,
- 31:25Speaker 4: she was really excited.
- 31:27Speaker 8: That was a sarcastic.
- 31:29Speaker 4: Do you know a lot of people from Orgon that
- 31:31Speaker 4: have been there? No?
- 31:32Speaker 8: I do know a person who's been there, but like only.
- 31:35Speaker 1: One, oh sure, any who a place. Amy King has
- 31:42Speaker 1: never apparently been to the orgy doing man.
- 31:48Speaker 4: So I guess because of the weather.
- 31:50Speaker 1: It got the hell beat out of it, the wind,
- 31:52Speaker 1: the rains every year. Yeah, so they they're breaking it down.
- 31:58Speaker 1: They have a go fun to me that they're trying
- 32:01Speaker 1: to raise thirty grand they're already at twenty two thousand
- 32:04Speaker 1: and change. But they say it's you got eight to
- 32:07Speaker 1: ten thousand burners. They call them roughly ten percent of
- 32:11Speaker 1: the attendees that go to this thing, that go in
- 32:14Speaker 1: this orgy dome. And it's very elaborate. They say about
- 32:17Speaker 1: eighty mattresses, thirty four air conditioners, two thousand sets of sheets,
- 32:26Speaker 1: all manned by a team of one hundred volunteers.
- 32:29Speaker 4: Yeah, they are EVOLDO year last year.
- 32:33Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Kno, I hate yeah, I know you hate
- 32:35Speaker 1: what I do your voice, but just all of that
- 32:39Speaker 1: for the orgy dome.
- 32:41Speaker 3: Yeah, it's crazy.
- 32:41Speaker 2: I was thinking of going one year because I had
- 32:45Speaker 2: some friends, or I had the Orgin Dome. Yeah, yeah,
- 32:48Speaker 2: But it turned out that I'm sure I would have
- 32:50Speaker 2: been the only person there would have an orgy with
- 32:52Speaker 2: myself because no one would anyway, no one would get
- 32:56Speaker 2: anywhere near me. Okay, well we're done, guys, let's do it.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Coming up it is the two hundred and fifty dollars
- 33:04Speaker 2: bill with Donald Trump's face on it. A little bit
- 33:07Speaker 2: of history because there's a nice connection with history in
- 33:09Speaker 2: this one. We'll be back kf I am six point forty.
- 33:13Speaker 3: You've been listening to the Bill Handle Show.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Catch my show Monday through Friday six am to nine am,
- 33:18Speaker 2: and anytime on demand on the iHeartRadio app.
