Latest / V / The Final Countdown to Shutdown (Ep.109)
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Good morning and welcome to Bongina Report Early Edition. The
- 0:03Speaker 1: government barrels toward a shutdown, White House insiders admit that
- 0:08Speaker 1: Biden is senile, MSNBC wants to hire more Republicans, why
- 0:13Speaker 1: Luigi Mangione lovers terrify me, Nick Fuentes is almost murdered,
- 0:18Speaker 1: and archaeologists make an incredible ancient Christian discovery. All of
- 0:23Speaker 1: this on Bongina Report Early Edition. So we got a
- 0:38Speaker 1: new bill, a Trump-backed 116-page bill as opposed to the
- 0:45Speaker 1: dumpster fire 1,500-plus page CR or continuing resolution. Some people
- 0:50Speaker 1: were asking what CR stands for, continuing resolution, that we
- 0:54Speaker 1: talked about yesterday. Michael also asked me what CR stood for.
- 0:58Speaker 1: So yes, continuing resolution. But last night, this new bill that, again,
- 1:03Speaker 1: Trump backed, failed. Now, the new bill... would have raised
- 1:08Speaker 1: the debt ceiling. So a lot of the pork that
- 1:10Speaker 1: was in this new bill, or the 1,500-page-plus bill, the censorship,
- 1:16Speaker 1: the mask mandates, all the crazy stuff that we were
- 1:18Speaker 1: talking about that we were so upset about, even inhibiting
- 1:22Speaker 1: RFK Jr. from making the vaccine reforms that he wanted to,
- 1:25Speaker 1: that's not in this new bill, but this new bill
- 1:28Speaker 1: was going to raise the debt ceiling. And the debt
- 1:30Speaker 1: ceiling is, of course, the limit on how much the
- 1:33Speaker 1: federal government can borrow. It is not spending money. It
- 1:36Speaker 1: is the limit on how much we can spend. And
- 1:39Speaker 1: nearly every single Democrat and more than 30 Republicans, including
- 1:44Speaker 1: Chip Roy, Tim Burchett, Paul Gosar, Thomas Massey, Nancy Mace,
- 1:48Speaker 1: my former representative, Tom Tiffany from Wisconsin, they killed this bill.
- 1:53Speaker 1: And I'm going to get to why the Democrats voted
- 1:55Speaker 1: against this bill, because they don't have a good reason.
- 1:58Speaker 1: But first, I want to talk to you about the
- 2:00Speaker 1: Republicans who voted against it. And here is Chip Roy's
- 2:03Speaker 1: in his own words, telling us why he opposed this
- 2:07Speaker 1: bill last night.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Yes, I think this bill is better than it was
- 2:10Speaker 2: yesterday on certain respects. But to take this bill, to
- 2:14Speaker 2: take this bill yesterday and congratulate yourself because it's shorter
- 2:19Speaker 2: in pages, but increases the debt by $ 5 trillion is asinine.
- 2:25Speaker 2: And that's precisely what Republicans are doing. I'm absolutely sickened
- 2:30Speaker 2: by a party that campaigns on fiscal responsibility and has
- 2:34Speaker 2: the temerity to go forward to the American people and say,
- 2:37Speaker 2: you think this is fiscally responsible. It is absolutely ridiculous.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Okay, so Trump was very unhappy with Chip Roy last night.
- 2:47Speaker 1: He was furious. And he wrote on True Social in
- 2:49Speaker 1: response to Chip Roy taking the charge, leading the charge
- 2:52Speaker 1: on this fight against the bill last night. Chip Roy
- 2:55Speaker 1: is just another ambitious guy with no talent. I hope
- 2:59Speaker 1: some talented challengers are getting ready in the great state
- 3:02Speaker 1: of Texas to go after Chip in the primary. He
- 3:05Speaker 1: won't have a chance. Now, why does Trump want to
- 3:10Speaker 1: raise the debt ceiling? Why is Trump so angry at
- 3:12Speaker 1: Chip Roy and all the other Republicans who voted against this?
- 3:15Speaker 1: The debt ceiling is covering spending that Congress has, of course,
- 3:18Speaker 1: already authorized. And Trump knows the debt ceiling will be
- 3:21Speaker 1: used as a political tool on the left and even
- 3:24Speaker 1: rhinos in our party to mess with his agenda. The
- 3:27Speaker 1: Democrats will say we need spending under control or we'll
- 3:30Speaker 1: raise it, but only if you fund State Department orchestrated
- 3:33Speaker 1: censorship efforts, which is all the pork that they want, right?
- 3:37Speaker 1: So in Trump's view, his agenda is at stake here.
- 3:39Speaker 1: And of course, this has mobilized Trump's base against Chip
- 3:44Speaker 1: Roy and the other Republicans who generally we all like
- 3:48Speaker 1: voted against this bill last night. Cat Turd in particular
- 3:50Speaker 1: has been fuming on X. He's been flamethrowing all of
- 3:55Speaker 1: these representatives, but specifically Chip Roy himself. All night long,
- 3:57Speaker 1: he wrote yesterday, so the 38 Republicans who voted against
- 4:00Speaker 1: this bill, they all did so because their big lobbyists
- 4:04Speaker 1: and donors told them to. Don't doubt me. They're all
- 4:07Speaker 1: sellout losers. This is really simple. If you already stand
- 4:12Speaker 1: against Trump, you stand against us. So I'm going to
- 4:16Speaker 1: give you my take here, you guys. I'm going to
- 4:18Speaker 1: lay it out first. So some of these reps are
- 4:20Speaker 1: probably poorly motivated, like Cat Turd is alleging, and they
- 4:25Speaker 1: want to hinder Trump's agenda. That's not true for all
- 4:28Speaker 1: of them. We have to be honest about what's going
- 4:30Speaker 1: on here. Some of these guys are genuine. Thomas Massey,
- 4:34Speaker 1: who I've talked to on the phone, my former representative
- 4:37Speaker 1: from Wisconsin where I used to live, Tom Tiffany, I
- 4:39Speaker 1: know for a fact that these two guys are genuine
- 4:43Speaker 1: good men who care about fiscal responsibility. Thomas Massey is
- 4:47Speaker 1: adamant that we need separate bills. He's been calling for
- 4:50Speaker 1: this for months, and I totally agree with him. I
- 4:53Speaker 1: totally agree with him. One vote for the clean CR,
- 4:56Speaker 1: one vote for the debt limit, one vote for disaster relief,
- 4:58Speaker 1: one vote for farm bailouts, individual bills for each of
- 5:02Speaker 1: these issues. This is what he wants. It's a reasonable request.
- 5:05Speaker 1: He's been asking for it for a long time. Now,
- 5:07Speaker 1: the counter argument is if you trust Trump, you'd want
- 5:10Speaker 1: to give him the best shot at asserting his agenda
- 5:12Speaker 1: the second he takes office. Remember, the debt ceiling isn't spending.
- 5:16Speaker 1: It's just the limit. And Trump has promised to cut
- 5:20Speaker 1: waste $ 2 trillion with Doge. So it really comes down to,
- 5:24Speaker 1: do you trust Trump to do that or not? And
- 5:29Speaker 1: some of these representatives are not genuine and they want
- 5:32Speaker 1: to inhibit Trump. Some of them are good men who
- 5:34Speaker 1: are truly serious about cutting spending. Thomas Massey, Tom Tiffany,
- 5:38Speaker 1: they're two guys who I know are serious. And it's
- 5:41Speaker 1: possible that they really don't trust Trump to cut the spending.
- 5:43Speaker 1: I mean, he was a big spender when he was
- 5:45Speaker 1: in office the last time. Now he's saying, I'm really
- 5:47Speaker 1: pro-fiscal responsibility. I've created Doge. I'm making all these promises
- 5:49Speaker 1: that we're going to actually get this whole uh, get
- 5:53Speaker 1: this whole, uh, our whole financial system under control, get
- 5:55Speaker 1: all the spending under control. Again, it comes down to,
- 5:59Speaker 1: do you trust Trump or do you not trust Trump?
- 6:01Speaker 1: And the reason, uh, Trump has, has promised to cut
- 6:06Speaker 1: 2 trillion to cut Doge is what he ran on.
- 6:09Speaker 1: So he, again, it's, it's, it's something that he's promised
- 6:13Speaker 1: the people. Trump will ultimately be on the hook if
- 6:16Speaker 1: he doesn't follow through for the people and the representatives
- 6:19Speaker 1: can put Trump on the hook and say, listen, you
- 6:21Speaker 1: told us you were going to cut spending and then
- 6:23Speaker 1: you didn't. So there's just a lot of moving parts here,
- 6:27Speaker 1: but the cutting of the spending is going to take time.
- 6:30Speaker 1: That's another thing to consider. And we're going to reach
- 6:33Speaker 1: the debt ceiling before then. And the counter argument is
- 6:37Speaker 1: we want to give Trump breathing room to assert his agenda.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Does this all make sense to you guys? All of
- 6:43Speaker 1: the moving parts here, what I'm saying, anybody have any questions?
- 6:47Speaker 1: I don't know, Mikey, if you see anything that comes up,
- 6:49Speaker 1: you let me know. My take here, guys, is that
- 6:52Speaker 1: I'm sympathetic to both parties. I hate to be, you know, the, oh,
- 6:54Speaker 1: I'm not going to take a side here, but I
- 6:56Speaker 1: am sympathetic to Trump. I am sympathetic to the guys
- 6:58Speaker 1: who are genuinely fiscally responsible. Yeah, Mikey. So the chat
- 7:06Speaker 1: seems to think that Chip Roy is disingenuous, but they
- 7:09Speaker 1: like Tom Massey. I don't know a ton about Chip Roy.
- 7:11Speaker 1: He's not my representative. I will say that the back
- 7:14Speaker 1: and forth between Trump and Chip Roy has been longstanding
- 7:17Speaker 1: back when Trump had his first term. the two of
- 7:20Speaker 1: them butted heads. So some of this is personal too.
- 7:23Speaker 1: This is what you need to understand about Congress is
- 7:26Speaker 1: you think that it's all about principled stands or a
- 7:30Speaker 1: lot of times personal gripes seep into this. There's a
- 7:35Speaker 1: reason why he's slamming Chip Roy, but he's not slamming
- 7:39Speaker 1: Nancy Mace, right? Because he doesn't have as much of
- 7:43Speaker 1: a problem with her. There's personal politics that comes into
- 7:46Speaker 1: play here that a lot of us, we don't even
- 7:49Speaker 1: know about. Some of it we do, some of it
- 7:51Speaker 1: we've seen over the years, some of it we have
- 7:53Speaker 1: no clue. And, and that is coming into play because again,
- 7:56Speaker 1: politics is personal. It's not straightforward. It's not always logical and,
- 8:01Speaker 1: and it can be really opaque and it can be
- 8:03Speaker 1: really hard to figure out. So I, again, I'm not
- 8:06Speaker 1: taking a huge side on either, on either, on either
- 8:08Speaker 1: way here. I think I tend to lean to the,
- 8:10Speaker 1: to the opinion of you guys should just give Trump
- 8:12Speaker 1: the best situation possible. You should let him assert his agenda.
- 8:15Speaker 1: We should trust Trump that people have given him a
- 8:17Speaker 1: mandate and, and the Republicans should be a unified force
- 8:21Speaker 1: and try and get this agenda as, uh, try to
- 8:24Speaker 1: get this agenda passed as seamlessly as possible. Once Trump
- 8:28Speaker 1: takes office, Michael, I think Michael, you would disagree with that.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Wouldn't you? Yeah. So Michael wasn't a fan of Trump spending.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Michael thinks that, you know, the Congressman like Tom Massey,
- 8:41Speaker 1: Tom Tiffany, uh, maybe Nancy Mace, that what they're doing
- 8:45Speaker 1: is genuine and good for the country. And Michael says
- 8:52Speaker 1: if Trump's doge really does, you know, decrease $ 2 trillion
- 8:58Speaker 1: of waste, then we don't need to raise the debt limit.
- 9:00Speaker 1: So people have different opinions on this. My take is
- 9:03Speaker 1: that the reason that we're having this chaos right now
- 9:06Speaker 1: in Congress is because of leadership. This is the real
- 9:09Speaker 1: problem here, you guys. It's the leadership. It's not Thomas Massey.
- 9:14Speaker 1: It's not Chip Roy. It's not Trump. It's not Elon Musk.
- 9:17Speaker 1: It is Mike Johnson. Mike Johnson has lost control of
- 9:20Speaker 1: the House. A fiscally responsible bill or bills should have
- 9:26Speaker 1: been written and negotiated months ago. There's infighting and there's
- 9:31Speaker 1: scrambling right now because leadership brought us to this mess.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Mike Johnson betrayed us with this bill and then he
- 9:40Speaker 1: created a mess. when Doge and Trump put him in
- 9:43Speaker 1: check and said, whoa, what are you doing? We can't
- 9:46Speaker 1: be funding censorship and masks and Ukraine and Big Pharma.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I mean, it was just a ridiculous bill. Like I
- 9:53Speaker 1: wrote on Twitter last night, it was almost like it
- 9:55Speaker 1: was handwritten by Nancy Pelosi herself. And you can better
- 9:58Speaker 1: believe that Mike Johnson loves what's happening right now to
- 10:03Speaker 1: Chip Roy and Tom Massey, that they're getting the hate
- 10:08Speaker 1: instead of him. And again, let me repeat, this is
- 10:10Speaker 1: a leadership failure. This should have been figured out a
- 10:14Speaker 1: long time ago. They should have been negotiated months ago.
- 10:19Speaker 1: And now we're dealing with this disaster because of a
- 10:22Speaker 1: leadership failure. And it's going to be a rocky process
- 10:25Speaker 1: because we're scrambling, because we had to go back to
- 10:27Speaker 1: the drawing board. We're potentially looking at a shutdown because
- 10:32Speaker 1: the leadership failed. Now, equally at fault here is the Democrats.
- 10:37Speaker 1: All but two Democrats voted against this bill, and not
- 10:42Speaker 1: because they care about fiscal responsibility. Again, this is why
- 10:45Speaker 1: I'm annoyed at them, because they don't have a good reason.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Here's J.D. Vance explaining.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Look, I'll say one thing.
- 10:51Speaker 4: The Democrats just voted to shut down the government, even
- 10:55Speaker 4: though we had a clean CR, because they didn't want
- 10:58Speaker 4: to give the president negotiating leverage during his first term,
- 11:02Speaker 4: or during the first year of his new term. And
- 11:05Speaker 4: number two, because they would rather shut down the government
- 11:09Speaker 4: and fight.
- 11:10Speaker 3: For global censorship bullshit.
- 11:13Speaker 4: They've asked for a shutdown, and I think that's exactly.
- 11:15Speaker 1: What they're going to do. Nearly every House Democrat, save two,
- 11:21Speaker 1: voted against disaster relief, aid for farmers, keeping the government open,
- 11:26Speaker 1: pay for the military, and all because they care about
- 11:30Speaker 1: funding the censorship of conservatives and giving themselves and the
- 11:33Speaker 1: rest of the deep state immunity, among other horrible things.
- 11:37Speaker 1: You have to think about that. The Democrats already agreed
- 11:40Speaker 1: on everything that's in this bill, and they don't care
- 11:44Speaker 1: about the debt limit. You guys know these are the
- 11:47Speaker 1: most fiscally irresponsible people in Congress, the Democratic Party. They
- 11:52Speaker 1: just lost their destructive earmarks, and now they're throwing a fit.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Now they're mad. As Elon Musk writes, the vast majority
- 11:59Speaker 1: of Republican House members voted for the spending bill, but
- 12:02Speaker 1: only two Democrats did. Therefore, if the government shuts down,
- 12:04Speaker 1: it is obviously the fault of Representative Jeffries and the
- 12:08Speaker 1: Democratic Party. And that is true. That's true. Now, Democrats'
- 12:13Speaker 1: main line of attack right now is Elon Musk. They
- 12:16Speaker 1: are horrified by the fact that Elon Musk has had
- 12:19Speaker 1: input and is saying on X, yeah, maybe we shouldn't
- 12:22Speaker 1: be spending money on crazy things like Ukraine and Big Pharma,
- 12:26Speaker 1: inhibiting RFK Jr. I mean, they're just angry at Elon Musk.
- 12:29Speaker 1: This is their line of attack. This is what they're
- 12:31Speaker 1: going with. Here was Hakeem Jeffries yesterday.
- 12:34Speaker 5: The Musk-Johnson proposal is not serious.
- 12:40Speaker 3: It's laughable.
- 12:42Speaker 5: Extreme MAGA Republicans are driving us to a government shutdown.
- 12:47Speaker 1: It's so Elon Musk focused, it's kind of ridiculous. Probably
- 12:50Speaker 1: the craziest response, blaming Elon Musk for all this, was
- 12:53Speaker 1: Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro on the House floor. You guys just
- 12:58Speaker 1: have to listen to this. It's insane.
- 13:00Speaker 3: They got scared because President Musk told them.
- 13:08Speaker 6: President Musk said.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Don't do it.
- 13:12Speaker 7: Don't do it.
- 13:14Speaker 8: Shut the government down.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Imagine.
- 13:17Speaker 6: What does he know?
- 13:18Speaker 1: Okay, this woman, by the way, if you're listening, she
- 13:22Speaker 1: has purple hair. She's a completely deranged individual, and she
- 13:25Speaker 1: also happens to be the most powerful Democrat in Congress
- 13:29Speaker 1: on all things U.S. federal budget. She's very close buddies
- 13:33Speaker 1: with Nancy Pelosi, so she was chair of the House
- 13:35Speaker 1: Appropriations Committee, super powerful committee, for the first two years
- 13:39Speaker 1: of the Biden administration. and then the committee's ranking member
- 13:42Speaker 1: since the GOP won in the 2022 midterms. And by
- 13:47Speaker 1: the way, I think her hair should be against House
- 13:48Speaker 1: dress code, or I have no idea why she's allowed
- 13:51Speaker 1: to look like that. She's clearly a crazy, crazy woman.
- 13:56Speaker 1: And we're dealing with insanity in the Democratic Party right now.
- 13:59Speaker 1: I just reasoned out for you guys why some of
- 14:01Speaker 1: these Republicans voted against the bill last night. Completely reasonable.
- 14:07Speaker 1: It makes sense to me I might not agree with it,
- 14:09Speaker 1: but I'm sympathetic to the point of view. The Democrats
- 14:12Speaker 1: are just insane. Their reasoning is because they want more pork,
- 14:16Speaker 1: more problems. They want, I mean, they don't have a
- 14:20Speaker 1: good reason. Here is Elizabeth Warren echoing the same sentiment.
- 14:23Speaker 1: But the Republicans would rather have a crisis, would rather
- 14:27Speaker 1: blow this up because they're all doing whatever the great
- 14:31Speaker 1: and powerful Mr. Musk wants them to do. Do you
- 14:33Speaker 1: think there's going to be a government shutdown?
- 14:35Speaker 8: Ask Elon Musk.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Senator Elizabeth Warren. We'll see if he joins us out
- 14:39Speaker 1: here on the balcony. Thank you for that. Okay. So, okay.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Here's what I want you guys to remember about all
- 14:48Speaker 1: these Democrats freaking out about Milan Mullis, the billionaire he's involved.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Remember that Wall Street sided overwhelmingly with Biden and Kamala
- 14:56Speaker 1: in 2020 and 2024. The Democrats love taking money from billionaires.
- 15:03Speaker 1: They love supporting billionaires. The COVID response, the climate cult,
- 15:08Speaker 1: Massive spending that drives up inflation. All these policies that
- 15:12Speaker 1: Democrats love, all they have done is empower the rich
- 15:16Speaker 1: and the powerful in this country and destroy the middle class.
- 15:19Speaker 1: They're total posers. They just hate Elon Musk because he's
- 15:22Speaker 1: a billionaire who happens to oppose them. It's completely disingenuous.
- 15:29Speaker 1: And you guys all know, I mean, the obvious example
- 15:31Speaker 1: is George Soros. the guy with massive influence over American politics,
- 15:35Speaker 1: who's for years has been funding radical leftist campaigns across
- 15:39Speaker 1: the country. And the Democrats love it because it helps them.
- 15:43Speaker 1: And now they're freaking out about Elon Musk. Again, completely disingenuous.
- 15:48Speaker 1: As Texas Patriot writes on X, Elon didn't kill the bill.
- 15:52Speaker 1: We the people did. Elon just broadcasted our voices. And
- 15:56Speaker 1: that is true. I talked about it yesterday. It feels
- 15:59Speaker 1: like the people finally have a unified voice. when it
- 16:03Speaker 1: comes to that 1500 plus page package of just waste
- 16:09Speaker 1: and frankly abuse of the American people. And we said
- 16:12Speaker 1: no to it. And just because Elon Musk agrees with
- 16:15Speaker 1: the vast majority of the American people doesn't mean that
- 16:18Speaker 1: Elon Musk is the reason that it happened or he's
- 16:20Speaker 1: the only person whose voice matters. Elon Musk amplified the
- 16:24Speaker 1: sentiment of what the American people have been saying for
- 16:27Speaker 1: years now, years. All right, we're going to take a
- 16:32Speaker 1: quick break. When we come back, I have a wild
- 16:34Speaker 1: Biden expose to share with you all. Don't go anywhere.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I saw somebody comment that we need to give Michael
- 16:41Speaker 1: a microphone, and I totally agree. And I said last night,
- 16:43Speaker 1: I said, Michael, because we were having this conversation, and
- 16:46Speaker 1: Michael helps me break down stories all the time. We
- 16:49Speaker 1: were having a debate about something even kind of separate,
- 16:51Speaker 1: and I was thinking about putting in the show, and
- 16:53Speaker 1: I'm not going to. But aside from that, I said,
- 16:55Speaker 1: Michael— why don't you just come up here and we
- 16:57Speaker 1: can have a conversation about it? We can debate it together.
- 16:59Speaker 1: You can talk, you can give me your take. I said, okay,
- 17:01Speaker 1: then just have your microphone up there. You don't even
- 17:03Speaker 1: have to be on camera. And I'll just talk to
- 17:06Speaker 1: you from here. And you can at least put your
- 17:08Speaker 1: input in because he says stuff all the time. And
- 17:10Speaker 1: we have conversations all the time about everything we're talking
- 17:12Speaker 1: about in the show. And Michael said, no. So my
- 17:15Speaker 1: Christmas wish was that Michael would be part of the show.
- 17:19Speaker 1: He says when the studio comes up, but I think
- 17:21Speaker 1: he's lying about that. I don't think he's genuine. And
- 17:23Speaker 1: you guys in the chat need to hold him to it.
- 17:25Speaker 1: We want to see Mikey on air. And he is
- 17:28Speaker 1: saying no. He is not giving the people what he wants,
- 17:31Speaker 1: but he's a very smart man. And I'd love for
- 17:33Speaker 1: you guys to actually hear his voice in the show
- 17:35Speaker 1: because he has really good things to say. All right.
- 17:38Speaker 1: So moving on here, we're going to talk about this
- 17:40Speaker 1: Wall Street Journal expose on President Biden. And it was
- 17:44Speaker 1: a really damning piece that ran yesterday. And it was
- 17:47Speaker 1: all about how the White House is essentially run by
- 17:50Speaker 1: senior aides, a very small number, three specifically, in order
- 17:54Speaker 1: to cover for a completely senile Joe Biden. And the
- 18:00Speaker 1: piece is based on interviews with nearly 50 people. And
- 18:03Speaker 1: it highlights how tightly controlled the system is to manage
- 18:07Speaker 1: Joe Biden's schedule and to limit risks of him embarrassing
- 18:11Speaker 1: himself and exposing himself as, again, completely senile. to the
- 18:16Speaker 1: American people and even his own team, even his own cabinet.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Staff has apparently shielded Biden from extensive interactions and even
- 18:26Speaker 1: with senior members of his cabinet. Biden's inner circle adjusted
- 18:31Speaker 1: his workload in meetings to account for his, again, abysmal stamina.
- 18:35Speaker 1: To avoid gaffes, for instance, during campaign events, attendees were
- 18:39Speaker 1: informed to submit questions in advance. And at times, pre-approved
- 18:43Speaker 1: questions were provided on notecards. And staff have curated the
- 18:48Speaker 1: information Biden receives. And this is all, this is kind
- 18:51Speaker 1: of weird. This is like emperor's new clothes kind of creepy.
- 18:55Speaker 1: They're shielding him from negative news. And they were especially
- 18:59Speaker 1: doing this when he was still in the race. So
- 19:01Speaker 1: they were preventing him from seeing all of his negative
- 19:04Speaker 1: polling data because they didn't want to discourage him. It's
- 19:08Speaker 1: like he's a baby. Like he was like a little
- 19:11Speaker 1: baby being managed and protected by this tight inner circle.
- 19:21Speaker 1: And apparently Biden has had trouble recalling briefing details and
- 19:26Speaker 1: requiring repeated instructions during public events. This is why they
- 19:29Speaker 1: limited his public events. This is why he, you know,
- 19:33Speaker 1: was not doing briefings with members of his cabinet. And
- 19:37Speaker 1: instead there were like specific go-betweens Essentially, the take of
- 19:42Speaker 1: this article is that Biden is just a puppet and
- 19:45Speaker 1: his own circle is admitting this. And it's interesting that
- 19:48Speaker 1: they're admitting it. after the election. After it mattered, they're saying,
- 19:55Speaker 1: oh yeah, President Biden, he was totally senile. Three people
- 19:58Speaker 1: were running the scenes behind the show. We're running the
- 20:01Speaker 1: show behind the scenes, and we're just going to admit
- 20:02Speaker 1: it now. And to me, this is such a scandal.
- 20:15Speaker 1: And we knew observably that it was true that Biden
- 20:17Speaker 1: was seen out, but it's really, I think, laid out
- 20:19Speaker 1: just how tightly controlled the entire situation was, how much
- 20:25Speaker 1: of a house of cards it was. It was just
- 20:27Speaker 1: a facade. It was all fake. It's still fake. He's
- 20:30Speaker 1: still president and it's all fake. And we were lied
- 20:33Speaker 1: to repeatedly by members of his administration and the media
- 20:37Speaker 1: and Here is chairman of the former chairman of the
- 20:39Speaker 1: Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Milley.
- 20:43Speaker 8: President Joe Biden has been portrayed by his political opponents
- 20:47Speaker 8: and even some of his allies as too old to
- 20:49Speaker 8: be president. I'm not asking for your political opinion here,
- 20:52Speaker 8: but how does he seem to you?
- 20:54Speaker 3: Look, I'm not.
- 20:56Speaker 6: Going to comment. I didn't comment on the former president's
- 20:58Speaker 6: mental health, physical health, and I'm not going to comment
- 21:01Speaker 6: on the current president's mental health or physical health. I
- 21:04Speaker 6: think that's highly inappropriate for the president. senior officer of
- 21:07Speaker 6: the United States military to do that. I would just
- 21:10Speaker 6: tell you that I meet frequently with the president, and
- 21:14Speaker 6: every single time I meet with him, he is just fine.
- 21:19Speaker 6: How people interpret that is up to them, but I
- 21:22Speaker 6: engage with him frequently and alert, sound, does his homework,
- 21:28Speaker 6: reads the papers, reads all the read-ahead material, and is very,
- 21:33Speaker 6: very engaging in the issues of very serious matters of
- 21:37Speaker 6: war and peace and life and death. So if the
- 21:40Speaker 6: American people are worried about an individual who is, you know,
- 21:46Speaker 6: someone who's making decisions of war and peace and has
- 21:49Speaker 6: access to, you know, makes the decisions of nuclear weapons
- 21:51Speaker 6: and that sort of thing, I think they can rest easy.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Okay, so that was just a complete flat-out lie. And
- 21:57Speaker 1: it was a political statement. It was basically an endorsement.
- 22:00Speaker 1: For politics, Milley lied to our faces. Yeah, I'm not
- 22:06Speaker 1: going to comment, but I'm going to comment. That's exactly
- 22:08Speaker 1: what he said, Michael. Thank you. And this is a
- 22:11Speaker 1: massive scandal because it was not just close aides. It
- 22:13Speaker 1: was not just military officers and cabinet members. It was
- 22:17Speaker 1: the media too. Here was Nicole Wallace.
- 22:20Speaker 9: There's a growing and insidious trend in right-wing media, broadcast, print,
- 22:25Speaker 9: and social media. It is to take highly misleading and
- 22:29Speaker 9: selectively edited videos of President Biden directly from Republican National
- 22:34Speaker 9: Committee social media accounts and then use those videos to
- 22:39Speaker 9: spread messages virally to cast doubt on President Biden's fitness
- 22:42Speaker 9: for office.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Okay. That was one of the most ridiculous, ridiculous narratives
- 22:48Speaker 1: from the media. Oh, all these things, all these gaffes,
- 22:51Speaker 1: where he wanders off stage and he looks completely lost. Yeah,
- 22:56Speaker 1: those are all true, but you shouldn't believe them because
- 22:58Speaker 1: they're being weaponized by Republicans. It was just ridiculous. Yeah,
- 23:02Speaker 1: it's real, but it's somehow deceptive. Former CNN journalist Chris
- 23:09Speaker 1: Saliza posted this yesterday, an apology.
- 23:14Speaker 3: As a reporter, I have a confession to make.
- 23:17Speaker 7: I should have pushed harder earlier for more information about
- 23:22Speaker 7: Joe Biden's mental and physical well-being and any signs of decline.
- 23:27Speaker 3: So let me explain. Joe Biden was president from 2020
- 23:32Speaker 3: to 2024. I worked at CNN through 2022.
- 23:38Speaker 7: During that time, the early part when I was at CNN,
- 23:42Speaker 7: 2020 to 2022, people would.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Regularly, Republicans would regularly ping me and.
- 23:47Speaker 10: Say, why don't you ask more questions of Joe Biden
- 23:49Speaker 10: and how he's doing? He's 76, 77, 78 year old man.
- 23:53Speaker 10: And I would sort of brush them off because what
- 23:57Speaker 10: I would say is, well, there's no obvious evidence that
- 24:02Speaker 10: he's declining. Yeah, he moves a little slower. He talks
- 24:05Speaker 10: a little slower, but there's no evidence that he's declining.
- 24:07Speaker 7: And, and The White House and the people around Joe
- 24:12Speaker 7: Biden were absolutely adamant that suggesting anything, asking the question
- 24:20Speaker 7: about whether he was in some physical, mental, or both
- 24:24Speaker 7: decline was offensive.
- 24:27Speaker 3: How could you? It's age shaming. And I think that
- 24:31Speaker 3: impacted me.
- 24:34Speaker 9: Really?
- 24:36Speaker 1: Really? That's your excuse? The Smiths didn't just not ask
- 24:42Speaker 1: questions about Joe Biden because the Biden White House told
- 24:45Speaker 1: them it would be ages to do so. No, this
- 24:48Speaker 1: guy was in on it. All these guys were in
- 24:51Speaker 1: on it. Here is what Chris Saliza wrote for CNN
- 24:57Speaker 1: at the time. Republicans keep trying to make Biden's mental
- 25:02Speaker 1: capacity an issue. That's the headline. And the piece reads,
- 25:06Speaker 1: This is the sort of gross, lowest common denominator politics
- 25:10Speaker 1: that drive people away from public life. If Republicans have
- 25:13Speaker 1: some sort of proof that Biden is declining, they should
- 25:16Speaker 1: bring it forward. If they don't, they should stop doing
- 25:20Speaker 1: what they're doing immediately. Can you guys believe that? What
- 25:26Speaker 1: a joke. What an actual joke that he's going to
- 25:29Speaker 1: come on his YouTube channel and tell us, you can
- 25:33Speaker 1: trust me, I didn't mean it. Yeah, he does have
- 25:36Speaker 1: Karen glasses. I didn't mean it. I was just under
- 25:41Speaker 1: pressure and I didn't see all the evidence and.
- 25:46Speaker 9: Liar.
- 25:47Speaker 1: He was in on it. He was part of the
- 25:48Speaker 1: coverup and now he's turning to us and saying, trust
- 25:52Speaker 1: me again. No, the entire corporate media was in on
- 25:58Speaker 1: it and we will never trust them again. The evidence
- 26:02Speaker 1: that Biden is in serious mental and physical decline is
- 26:05Speaker 1: and was self-evident. It was before our eyes. And hacks
- 26:12Speaker 1: like Chris Silliza purposely gaslit the American people to help Democrats.
- 26:20Speaker 1: He is a fraud. All of these people are done.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Mark Lazarus, the head of SpinCo, the company that is
- 26:30Speaker 1: soon to own MSNBC, has reportedly suggested in private conversations
- 26:35Speaker 1: over the past month that he would like MSNBC to
- 26:39Speaker 1: incorporate more right-wing voices into its programming. And Lazarus has
- 26:45Speaker 1: reportedly told people that he wants to change the public's
- 26:47Speaker 1: perception of MSNBC, that Republicans are somehow treated unfairly on
- 26:51Speaker 1: the network, because that's a perception. It's not real, but
- 26:53Speaker 1: it's a perception. That's what he's saying. And he has
- 26:56Speaker 1: indicated that he doesn't want the content from the hosts
- 26:58Speaker 1: and commentators to to potentially spawn bad press and alienate
- 27:04Speaker 1: GOP viewers. And I say, yeah, okay, you guys are done.
- 27:11Speaker 1: You guys are gone. I don't care what changes you make.
- 27:15Speaker 1: I don't care whatever token conservatives you add to your network.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Independent media is in charge now. We are the media now.
- 27:23Speaker 1: You Real, on the ground, genuine reporting. These people have
- 27:33Speaker 1: lied to us. Covered for arguably the most corrupt administration
- 27:37Speaker 1: in American history. The president isn't even running the country.
- 27:41Speaker 1: This is a huge scandal. And they all knew about it.
- 27:45Speaker 1: And they lied about it. And we'll never trust them again.
- 27:49Speaker 1: And it's not just this scandal. I mean, how many
- 27:52Speaker 1: are there? Kavanaugh, Russia collusion hoax. The Hunter Biden laptop coverup,
- 27:56Speaker 1: the Covington schoolboys, Jussie Smollett. They did it all. And
- 28:02Speaker 1: they are done. And I'm going to tell you why
- 28:05Speaker 1: it matters. All the lies and demonization of the right,
- 28:11Speaker 1: it actually gets people killed. It does. There is a
- 28:16Speaker 1: sickness festering among leftists. Actually, I think it's kind of
- 28:20Speaker 1: inherent to their ideology. And it is dangerous. Luigi Mangione,
- 28:26Speaker 1: the UnitedHealthcare CEO alleged killer, was brought back to New
- 28:30Speaker 1: York City yesterday by plane and helicopter to face new
- 28:33Speaker 1: federal charges of stalking and murder, which could bring the
- 28:37Speaker 1: death penalty if he is convicted. And the walk of
- 28:40Speaker 1: shame that the cops put him through did not help
- 28:43Speaker 1: the hordes of women and gay men who are currently
- 28:46Speaker 1: fawning over him. By the way, I do think that
- 28:49Speaker 1: this walk is a little bit excessive. They have tons
- 28:51Speaker 1: of these armed men all around Luigi. And he's completely handcuffed.
- 29:02Speaker 1: It's a bit excessive. They're trying to make this man
- 29:04Speaker 1: look like he is a massive terrorist and dangerous to
- 29:11Speaker 1: the public. And it's completely backfiring because, again, there are
- 29:16Speaker 1: a large portion of the left wing in America who
- 29:20Speaker 1: view this man as a hero. And every time they
- 29:22Speaker 1: see his face, it just gets even more solidified. One
- 29:24Speaker 1: woman wrote on X, are you effing kidding me right now?
- 29:27Speaker 1: They want to make Luigi Mangione look bad, but they
- 29:30Speaker 1: just basically had a photo shoot of him with the
- 29:32Speaker 1: most insane face card ever, LMAO. I mean, anytime you
- 29:37Speaker 1: show this man in public, he's just going to all
- 29:40Speaker 1: the girls fawn over him. Yes, Mikey? No, I don't
- 29:47Speaker 1: remember that. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I mean, they don't do
- 29:53Speaker 1: this with everyone. They just do this with this guy,
- 29:54Speaker 1: and I'm telling you guys, it's gonna backfire. And there are...
- 29:59Speaker 1: A ton of lefties right now, and this comes back
- 30:01Speaker 1: to my point about this being really dangerous, who think
- 30:04Speaker 1: that they're about to stage a revolution around Luigi Mangione.
- 30:08Speaker 1: They seriously think that. People on TikTok have started playing
- 30:10Speaker 1: music from Les Mis, the musical, as a symbol of
- 30:14Speaker 1: their collectivist revolt against healthcare, against the system, in the
- 30:20Speaker 1: name of Luigi Mangione. Here is one example. And the
- 30:25Speaker 1: caption here reads... I know for a fact there are
- 30:29Speaker 1: enough theater kids in New York City to gather together
- 30:31Speaker 1: and perform this in public. Maybe near the courts would
- 30:36Speaker 1: be a serve. So they're saying, play this revolutionary music.
- 30:42Speaker 1: We're part of a revolution. We're starting something. And I've
- 30:46Speaker 1: said this before, but this kind of collectivist movement is
- 30:49Speaker 1: always evil. Sorting people into haves and have-nots and then stealing, raping, torturing,
- 30:54Speaker 1: and murdering eventually the haves. is where this leads to.
- 30:58Speaker 1: And let's talk about Les Mis, because I think it's
- 31:01Speaker 1: interesting that they're using that as the sound for the
- 31:04Speaker 1: revolution that they're about to stage. This is not a
- 31:08Speaker 1: pro-revolution book or play. Les Mis is a critique of revolution.
- 31:13Speaker 1: A lot of people think Les Mis is about the
- 31:15Speaker 1: French Revolution. It's not. The story is actually about the
- 31:18Speaker 1: June Rebellion, which took place after the French Revolution, which
- 31:22Speaker 1: was led by middle-class intellectuals and students So it was
- 31:27Speaker 1: not instigated by working class people. Kind of similar to
- 31:30Speaker 1: what's going on right now, I might add. And the story,
- 31:33Speaker 1: Luigi comes from a very well-to-do family and the people
- 31:35Speaker 1: rallying around him, these are all Marxists educated by our
- 31:39Speaker 1: university system. And Les Mis highlights how a collectivist uprising
- 31:45Speaker 1: like the June Rebellion can lead to destruction of individual
- 31:49Speaker 1: humanity and moral integrity of a people. It highlights the
- 31:53Speaker 1: chaos and violence of these movements emphasizing how collective ideals
- 31:59Speaker 1: are used to justify evil. The protagonist, Jean Valjean, is
- 32:06Speaker 1: a good man because he values personal redemption and compassion
- 32:10Speaker 1: over political dogma. That is the message of the story.
- 32:13Speaker 1: The author of Les Mis, Victor Hugo, critiques this idea
- 32:16Speaker 1: of sacrificing individual lives for some abstract collective goal because
- 32:22Speaker 1: true justice lies in personal responsibility, and moral action rather
- 32:28Speaker 1: than blind adherence to a revolutionary ideal. And he's right
- 32:33Speaker 1: to highlight how dark these revolts can become. We're already
- 32:37Speaker 1: seeing it happen here. This week, a Michigan man allegedly
- 32:42Speaker 1: stabbed the president of his company where he works in
- 32:45Speaker 1: a possible copycat attack of the execution-style killing of UnitedHealthcare
- 32:50Speaker 1: CEO Brian Thompson. Eric Denslow, who runs the a Muskegon-based
- 32:57Speaker 1: Anderson Express manufacturing company, was stabbed during a staff meeting
- 33:01Speaker 1: in the firm's office on Tuesday. And you guys know
- 33:05Speaker 1: that this is personal to me. This kind of revolutionary
- 33:09Speaker 1: collectivist thinking is personal. My family lived through the Spanish
- 33:14Speaker 1: Civil War, and they lost everything because my family were
- 33:20Speaker 1: middle class. They owned a home. My great-grandfather had a
- 33:24Speaker 1: well-paying job My great grandmother actually was a prolific Catholic
- 33:31Speaker 1: writer and an anti-communist who was very much against the
- 33:35Speaker 1: communists in Spain. And so my great grandparents went from
- 33:41Speaker 1: middle class, raising a very young family of a one, two,
- 33:45Speaker 1: and three, and four-year-old, that was the age of their
- 33:47Speaker 1: children at the time, to being completely penniless and actually
- 33:51Speaker 1: separating during the war, losing absolutely everything. And I think
- 33:56Speaker 1: it's crucial to understand the role that faith plays in
- 33:59Speaker 1: a movement like this. An extended family member of mine
- 34:04Speaker 1: was actually murdered. He was a priest and he was
- 34:08Speaker 1: forced to dig his own grave and was buried alive
- 34:12Speaker 1: because he was a Catholic priest. This movement, the ideology
- 34:17Speaker 1: behind all the Luigi lovers is expressly anti-Christian. It's antithetical
- 34:24Speaker 1: to Christianity. Here's an explanation of the anti-Catholic French Revolution,
- 34:30Speaker 1: which again was the prequel to the rebellion that is
- 34:34Speaker 1: the center of Les Mis, and also at the center
- 34:39Speaker 1: of all these Luigi lovers and what they're standing for.
- 34:42Speaker 11: The French government has owned all the Catholic churches in
- 34:45Speaker 11: France since the French Revolution in 1789 when revolutionaries who
- 34:50Speaker 11: were extremely anti-Catholic and in fact completely atheistic, seized all
- 34:55Speaker 11: church properties and money to fund the new revolutionary currency.
- 35:01Speaker 11: In 1793, there was a ceremony that was held to
- 35:05Speaker 11: mark the transformation of Notre Dame Cathedral from a Catholic
- 35:10Speaker 11: church to an atheistic temple to reason.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Their new cult.
- 35:16Speaker 11: So they literally went into Notre Dame, they dismantled the
- 35:20Speaker 11: Catholic altar, took away all the Christian iconography, and they
- 35:24Speaker 11: installed a new altar to liberty and carved an inscription
- 35:29Speaker 11: over the doors of Notre Dame saying, that read to philosophy.
- 35:32Speaker 11: The revolutionary government was eerily similar to Bolshevism with enforced atheism,
- 35:39Speaker 11: totalitarian rule, confiscation of property, and mass killing. Ultimately, the
- 35:45Speaker 11: revolution was a satanic thing that was a thinly veiled attack.
- 35:49Speaker 1: On the church. Okay, so shout out to this creator.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Her podcast is called The War on Beauty. She does
- 35:56Speaker 1: really good. She creates really good content. And she's right.
- 36:01Speaker 1: The so-called God of Reason was enthroned in the Cathedral
- 36:04Speaker 1: of Paris. Religious holidays were replaced with secular ones. Catholic
- 36:08Speaker 1: mass was forced to be said in secret. And eventually,
- 36:10Speaker 1: the authorities began executing priests and mass. And we saw
- 36:16Speaker 1: this play out in Spain. And we saw this play
- 36:20Speaker 1: out literally anywhere there's been a collectivist revolution of any kind.
- 36:25Speaker 1: And these movements... that starred as what we're seeing right
- 36:30Speaker 1: now with Luigi Mangione, they can get very violent very soon.
- 36:35Speaker 1: And there is little sense of humanity. And it is
- 36:37Speaker 1: frankly terrifying to witness, to see this kind of rhetoric
- 36:41Speaker 1: play out on social media. And that brings me to
- 36:43Speaker 1: my next story. On Tuesday, a man murdered a family
- 36:50Speaker 1: of three. Some reports say that they were actually his
- 36:54Speaker 1: own family. And then the next day, this man showed
- 36:57Speaker 1: up at the door of Nick Fuentes. Nick Fuentes is,
- 37:01Speaker 1: of course, a controversial political streamer. He actually streams here
- 37:06Speaker 1: on Rumble. And frankly, I don't think any of that matters.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Nick was any of any of the controversies surrounding Nick.
- 37:14Speaker 1: I just, I don't care. Nick was recently doxxed and
- 37:19Speaker 1: his information was apparently not removed off of X and
- 37:23Speaker 1: perhaps because of his views, because of prejudice against him.
- 37:26Speaker 1: It's unclear why. And this man who killed three people
- 37:30Speaker 1: showed up at his house armed with a crossbow and
- 37:34Speaker 1: a pistol ready to murder Nick at his doorstep. Here
- 37:39Speaker 1: is the footage from his ring camera. And you can
- 37:45Speaker 1: see he shows up. He's got the crossbow. He puts
- 37:48Speaker 1: it on the side. He's carrying the pistol. He's got
- 37:50Speaker 1: a backpack. We don't know what's in the backpack. And
- 37:57Speaker 1: you know that he knows that he's at Nick's house
- 38:01Speaker 1: because he says that. He says, yo, Nick. So this
- 38:05Speaker 1: wasn't just a crazy man who happened to show up
- 38:07Speaker 1: at Nick Fuentes' house. This guy came to Nick's house
- 38:13Speaker 1: with the intention of confronting, likely killing Nick because Nick's
- 38:19Speaker 1: information was all over the internet and no one was
- 38:22Speaker 1: removing it, including apparently Elon Musk, which I think is
- 38:26Speaker 1: a huge problem. Now, police arrived and the man ran,
- 38:30Speaker 1: this murderer ran, broke into a neighboring house, killed two
- 38:35Speaker 1: of the neighbor's dogs, and had a shootout with law
- 38:39Speaker 1: enforcement before being killed by law enforcement. I mean, it
- 38:42Speaker 1: was a completely dramatic scene. And I just, I don't
- 38:46Speaker 1: care who you are. I don't care what your political
- 38:49Speaker 1: opinions are. Doxing is dangerous. I'm somebody who has had
- 38:53Speaker 1: personal death threats, personal, on me. Death threats on my
- 38:59Speaker 1: family as well. Bomb threats on my family. My family
- 39:03Speaker 1: was recently swatted. They were actually, there was a SWAT
- 39:09Speaker 1: call that came in and police didn't actually do it,
- 39:12Speaker 1: but they almost did. And people can die from swatting.
- 39:14Speaker 1: It's happened to Marjorie Taylor Greene before. It's happened to
- 39:17Speaker 1: my friend, Jack Posobiec. This happens all the time in
- 39:21Speaker 1: the political climate that we're living in. People are so
- 39:25Speaker 1: angry that they want their opponents to die. And it's serious.
- 39:31Speaker 1: And this is just the political environment that we're in.
- 39:38Speaker 1: And I think that doxing is unacceptable. A left-wing activist
- 39:42Speaker 1: had already showed up at Nick's door before he pushed
- 39:46Speaker 1: her and maced her And again, whatever your opinions are
- 39:49Speaker 1: about Nick, it doesn't matter. In America, he's allowed to
- 39:52Speaker 1: have whatever opinions he wants. And he shouldn't die because
- 39:55Speaker 1: of them. And in this environment, doxing does get people killed.
- 39:58Speaker 1: So it should be treated by law enforcement like a
- 40:00Speaker 1: threat on someone's life. It should be. Again, you guys,
- 40:04Speaker 1: we are dealing with godless people. This is really dark stuff.
- 40:09Speaker 1: And you know, this time of year, they try to
- 40:12Speaker 1: make us feel bad about defending our faith. They make
- 40:15Speaker 1: fun of you for saying You know, I care about
- 40:17Speaker 1: the war on Christmas. And I just think we need
- 40:21Speaker 1: to be bigger witnesses to it. The way to oppose
- 40:24Speaker 1: godless people, to oppose whatever kind of disgusting ideology is
- 40:29Speaker 1: beefing up this Luigi Mangione cult is to be witnesses
- 40:33Speaker 1: to our faith. That is the answer. We have to
- 40:36Speaker 1: be brave. I want you to take a listen to
- 40:40Speaker 1: this comedian and his stand-up bit because it is unironically true.
- 40:44Speaker 1: It is unironically what we should be doing.
- 40:47Speaker 4: Hate to offend people so this whole last holiday season
- 40:49Speaker 4: I didn't let out one Merry Christmas that's true instead
- 40:53Speaker 4: I said may.
- 40:53Speaker 3: The birth of the one and only true God.
- 41:01Speaker 4: Jesus Christ bestow a blessing of grace and peace upon
- 41:06Speaker 4: your household to the.
- 41:08Speaker 7: Belittlement of every other false.
- 41:11Speaker 1: Religion maybe not that part.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Lest you be gay that's what I say.
- 41:19Speaker 1: It's a joke, but it's not a joke. You know,
- 41:20Speaker 1: I really do think that we need to be witnesses
- 41:22Speaker 1: to our faith. We need to talk about what's the
- 41:25Speaker 1: reason for the season and we need to not be
- 41:26Speaker 1: embarrassed about it. Because the second that we were sent
- 41:29Speaker 1: into the shadows and we pretend like our faith doesn't
- 41:37Speaker 1: matter that much because we're afraid of being embarrassed or
- 41:40Speaker 1: we're even afraid of being attacked, then you automatically cede
- 41:46Speaker 1: ground to godless people who want to destroy us. And
- 41:50Speaker 1: this country was founded as a Christian nation. I've said
- 41:52Speaker 1: it so many times. We were founded as a Christian country.
- 41:55Speaker 1: We should be witnesses to our faith. We shouldn't feel
- 41:57Speaker 1: embarrassed or bad about saying Merry Christmas, about talking about
- 42:04Speaker 1: our religion, about talking about the values and tradition that
- 42:08Speaker 1: this country was founded on. And with that, I have
- 42:11Speaker 1: one last story for you guys. I'm sorry I'm running
- 42:13Speaker 1: a little bit long today. But this very cool discovery happened.
- 42:19Speaker 1: In 2018, archaeologists unearthed a Roman cemetery near Frankfurt, Germany.
- 42:25Speaker 1: And in one grave, which dated to the 3rd century AD,
- 42:30Speaker 1: they found the remains of a man wearing an amulet
- 42:33Speaker 1: under his chin. And the researchers discovered the amulet held
- 42:37Speaker 1: a fragile silver scroll. But because it was, of course,
- 42:42Speaker 1: very delicate, the scroll could not be deciphered until now.
- 42:47Speaker 1: using advanced imaging technology, we now know the scroll contains
- 42:52Speaker 1: 18 lines of Christian text written in Latin. And this
- 42:56Speaker 1: is the earliest evidence of Christianity north of the Alps.
- 42:59Speaker 1: And I'm going to read to you what it says.
- 43:01Speaker 1: And keep in mind that during this time, 3rd century AD,
- 43:06Speaker 1: Christianity was still a forbidden religion in the Roman Empire.
- 43:11Speaker 1: So the text reads, In the name of St. Titus, Holy, Holy,
- 43:16Speaker 1: In the name of Jesus Christ, Son of God, the
- 43:18Speaker 1: Lord of the world, resist with strength all attacks. God
- 43:22Speaker 1: grants entry to well-being. May this means of salvation protect
- 43:26Speaker 1: the man who surrenders himself to the will of the
- 43:28Speaker 1: Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God. Since before Jesus Christ,
- 43:32Speaker 1: every knee bows, those in heaven, those on earth, and
- 43:35Speaker 1: those under the earth, and every tongue confesses Jesus Christ.
- 43:41Speaker 1: I read it, and it was just such beautiful, beautiful lines.
- 43:44Speaker 1: But to me, what really struck out was the fact
- 43:47Speaker 1: that this guy was carrying around this amulet right on
- 43:53Speaker 1: his chest in a time where he could die for
- 44:00Speaker 1: his faith. At great personal risk, he carried this amulet
- 44:04Speaker 1: around his neck. Christians were put to death if they
- 44:08Speaker 1: were caught in ancient Rome under Emperor Decius, which was
- 44:11Speaker 1: around this time Christians were arrested, tortured, executed. We really
- 44:16Speaker 1: are lucky to live in a place where Christians don't
- 44:20Speaker 1: face that kind of persecution yet. But Christians are being
- 44:25Speaker 1: genocided in other parts of the world. They're being persecuted
- 44:29Speaker 1: in communist China, for one. Genocided in places like Syria
- 44:32Speaker 1: and parts of Africa. The only reason it isn't happening here,
- 44:36Speaker 1: at least for now, is... That we still have some
- 44:39Speaker 1: semblance of adherence to the foundation of centuries of martyrs
- 44:44Speaker 1: who came before us in the West and the testimony
- 44:48Speaker 1: of their faith. Western culture was built upon the Christian faith.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Christmas was everything. I mean, it was the greatest, you know,
- 44:58Speaker 1: outside of Easter, I mean, the greatest holiday celebrated by
- 45:02Speaker 1: the masses because it was foundational to their identity. This
- 45:07Speaker 1: is a heritage that was forged through centuries of sacrifice
- 45:11Speaker 1: of countless people who laid down their lives to defend
- 45:16Speaker 1: their faith. And preserving this legacy is neither racist nor
- 45:20Speaker 1: is it evil. It is a noble and necessary cause.
- 45:23Speaker 1: Protecting our American identity is a moral duty. Protecting our
- 45:27Speaker 1: Christian identity is a moral duty. And that is my
- 45:31Speaker 1: message to you guys as we go into the season.
- 45:33Speaker 1: I just want to say, Merry Christmas. Thank you so
- 45:35Speaker 1: much for being here. Oh, don't do that to me, Mikey.
- 45:40Speaker 1: That's pretty funny. Oh, so I guess Mikey said that
- 45:43Speaker 1: Dan had this happen to him too, or Guy put
- 45:46Speaker 1: a fake Santa hat on him. Anyways, Merry Christmas to
- 45:50Speaker 1: you guys. Thank you for bearing with me. Sorry this
- 45:52Speaker 1: was a little bit of a long show. I will
- 45:54Speaker 1: be filling in on the radio today with Jim for Dan.
