- 0:22It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh with us inside the treehouse.
- 0:32I'm Daniel Malley along with Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma on this episode Drop
- 0:38Day of Fred Day, July twelfth, twenty twenty four. Let's get stupid.
- 0:50We have a lot to get to today in this action packed Friday show,
- 0:56such as answering the question who truly has the power? Where's the biggest
- 1:03trash heap on Earth? And a very special dedication for Raj home defense that
- 1:11you can get on board with because you're not a gun guy. So I've
- 1:14found a home defense security protocol specifically for you that I think. I think
- 1:22you'll enjoy it. Anyone trying to get you in your home, however,
- 1:26would not. Nobody's trying to get me, nobody's trying to get you.
- 1:30Nobody's trying to get anybody. That's what people say until they got god right,
- 1:34Tray, yep, I don't have what do you? What do you
- 1:38want? What do you? What do you want from me? You're not
- 1:42gonna get anything. You're gonna want this, trust me, Just trust me,
- 1:47you're gonna want this. Okay. Before we get to any of that,
- 1:51we're also gonna do some birthdays because that's important to everybody, and by
- 1:55everybody, I mean some people, but important enough that we do it.
- 1:57And before we even get to birthdays, something even more important, because we've
- 2:02been sitting on this for about a week, and if the audio of this
- 2:08is any indication she don't like waiting around. Trey posted the other day a
- 2:15wonderful little video as an example why he doesn't date anymore. Dare I say
- 2:25that Trey posted the best example of why he doesn't date anymore. Yeah,
- 2:30And before we get to that, I think we must first ask an important
- 2:38question, which is why did you give up on dating in general? Trey?
- 2:45Uh, just everything today is so polarized, like, uh, you
- 2:53know, if you don't if you don't agree with someone's politics, they don't
- 2:58want to date. Like if you don't if you don't see that thing like
- 3:02COVID. You know, during COVID, it was if you believed in the
- 3:07you know, there were two camps, if you believe in the vaccine or
- 3:09if you didn't. And you know, if you didn't believe in the vaccine,
- 3:12they didn't want anything to do if you had had the vaccine vice versa.
- 3:15Just stuff like that everything is so polarizing, and uh, I'm just
- 3:19I've gotten to a point. I know I attract crazy. I know I'm
- 3:23attracted too crazy. I know I make them crazier, and uh, at
- 3:27a certain point, I'm just I'm happy, peace and quiet with a Daisy
- 3:30Julius and myself. It sounds to me like Trey, you are the vaccine.
- 3:38I think they should have a a dating site for uh, for that
- 3:43where you can like, you know what, I like, crazy bitches,
- 3:46and then you can just go on and and I mean, I know they
- 3:51already it's called OnlyFans, but I'm just saying one that you can actually,
- 3:53uh like swipe and date and find your type of crazy, like actual dating,
- 4:00not just virtual you know, relationship type stuff. I had a girl
- 4:04in the bar, I think it was Saturday night, so crazy and she
- 4:12was a ten ten on the Hot Crazy Matrix. Holy okay, wait wait
- 4:15we have to do this in the traditional comedic way. So Trey start that
- 4:18over was so crazy, and then Roger, you know what to do?
- 4:24She was so crazy? How crazy was she? Everybody? Good job?
- 4:29She was a ten ten on the Hot Crazy Matrix. Whoa wow, those
- 4:32are hard to find yeah, I mean five to ten blonde, gorgeous Eastern
- 4:40European. I had to kick her out because she was drunk and she was
- 4:46trying to bang pretty much anyone in the bar, male or female. Wow.
- 4:50Okay, And the downside here, downside is the first thing was is
- 4:58that she started hitting on a black gentleman whose date promptly went and told our
- 5:04security guy, Hey, if you don't get this girl off, my man,
- 5:08I'm a whipper ass. Okay, I like it, and so I
- 5:16took her. I got her out of the bar. I ended up.
- 5:19I walked her three blocks down to another bar, just to try to get
- 5:24her away from mine. And in that three blocks she complimented me, insulted
- 5:31me, she laughed, she cried, she you know, told me I
- 5:35was wonderful, told me I was a dick, just just ran the gauntlet
- 5:43of every just back and forth, back and forth. I mean, I
- 5:46said she cried like she laughed and cried. And so basically, what you're
- 5:51telling us is you're in love and they're getting married this weekend. If she
- 6:00if she lived in Dallas, maybe, but she was going back home to
- 6:04Utah the next time. Sure, I'm sure that's what she calls the facility.
- 6:12No, she calls it Utah. She just conveniently leaves off the remainder
- 6:15of the name of the hospital. Yeah, here's the problem. If she's
- 6:19legitimately from Utah. The reason she got the way she was at your bar
- 6:23is because you guys actually pour an actual drink. No no, no,
- 6:27Oh, she came in hot like she she she walked in and almost mounted
- 6:31my security guy. Oh she was from Azerbaijan. Oh yeah, there we
- 6:38go, a press girl living in Utah. Well, and and I'm gonna
- 6:44guess she wasn't judging by her dress and accouterments, her shiit her dad as
- 6:50a big oil guy, and I would tend to believe it. Oh yeah,
- 6:56I'm sure. Yeah, so spoiled. But yeah, actually have a
- 7:00lot of daddy issues. That was what I learned in three three blocks.
- 7:03So how you're not perfect for this situation. I'm honestly wondering if we're actually
- 7:11is there enough time for you to send out invitations for us to receive an
- 7:14R s v P or is this immediate wedding? Uh yeah, I I
- 7:18she did put her number in my phone, so you know we'll call her.
- 7:24Uh yeah, maybe down the road. I'll shoot her a text.
- 7:27I doubt she remembers me, but she doesn't have down the road time.
- 7:32I think. I think the I think the the weekend passes or the release
- 7:39schedule that's offered by the Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane Utah branch. It's
- 7:45very strict, and so your window might be pretty pretty small there. Yeah.
- 7:48I think they call it a tabernacle and U to You're going to have
- 7:54your running through the airport moment, but yours is going to be more of
- 7:57like a greyhound uh or a megabus kind of situation where she's trying to get
- 8:03back to Utah with fourteen dollars. Uh. So I would, I would,
- 8:07I would jump on it now, buddy, you know she's ready to
- 8:11move in, like if you, if you, if you, guys go
- 8:13out like she's got her gear in the car. I'm worried that she's gonna
- 8:16do more than just move into Trey's place. I'm afraid that she's just going
- 8:20to move into his skin. She was so crazy that it at a certain
- 8:28point it ceased being a turn on it, and then I was kind of
- 8:31turned off and a little scared. She wow went so far past. She
- 8:35went so crazy she scared your boner away. Yeah wow, that sucks.
- 8:39Okay, well wait by b wait wait did it or was the boner?
- 8:43What your head was like? Okay, this is this is a major red
- 8:46flag, but you still had the stiffy now. I literally I walked her
- 8:50down to another bar and then by the time we got there, I was
- 8:54like, I gotta get back to work. Oh wow, you know what
- 8:56the irony is in this situation, Raj. That is the best relationship Trey
- 9:00has had in years. Yes, you're listening to the Treehouse. Visit us
- 9:09online at Treehouse on Air dot com. Eight three three Cook DFW is the
- 9:20phone number you will need to call Daniel Cook from Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration
- 9:24for your free roof inspection. I know Daniel that you don't mind a little
- 9:30healthy competition. So if you've got a homeowner that calls you out and says,
- 9:33hey, I'm kind of interviewing a bunch of you guys trying to find
- 9:37the best deal, what's your response? Well, you know what that just
- 9:39happened. We were called out. She got a referral from us from a
- 9:43previous client, and she says, hey, I've talked to a couple of
- 9:48guys, but your name came up and I'd love to meet you. So
- 9:50I drove out there inspected her property. She already has an active insurance claim,
- 9:56she already got paid. She's just trying to figure out who to use,
- 9:58because most insurance companies won't tell you who to use, because that's your
- 10:03responsibility as a homeowner. And we were talking about fifteen minutes into the conversation.
- 10:07She goes, she goes, everything you're saying is sounding great, and
- 10:11she goes, but I'm just confused. She goes, I just I don't
- 10:16know how to find the best deal. And I said, well, ma'am,
- 10:20I go, this is an insurance claim. I mean, you're getting
- 10:24twenty thousand dollars worth of work done for two thousand dollars. Should you really
- 10:28be worrying about the best deal or should you be looking for the best contractor?
- 10:33And she goes, well, yeah, I definitely want a good contract.
- 10:37I go, then you're looking at these interviews the wrong way. You
- 10:41need to make sure that your home's going to get taken care of the very
- 10:45best way possible, with the highest integrity and great warranties. I go,
- 10:50that's the way you should be looking at this now, and she goes,
- 10:52Now, now that you say that, that totally makes sense. And so
- 10:54I just think a lot of people get wrapped up in this whole thing about
- 10:58estimates and I'm trying to get the cheapest guy. And sometimes cheap is not
- 11:03good. Yeah, in my life experience, UH, you get what you
- 11:07pay for. And sometimes there are some instances where you can cut some corners
- 11:13on some things. I've been known to buy the UH manager's special meat the
- 11:16day after. But I'm not gonna I'm not gonna do the I'm not gonna
- 11:20do that with my roof. That's that's not an area where I want to
- 11:24cut corners, you know what I mean. I want the whole house covered.
- 11:26So make sure you call Daniel Cook. He'll make sure you are covered,
- 11:30you are safe, and you get the best contractor in Cook DFW Roofing

- 12:22com. So now let's get to the guts of an example, one of
- 12:28the greatest examples of all time that Trey posted on social media as to why
- 12:33he has given up on dating. Now that we're fully armed with why he's
- 12:37given up on love, now we should dip into why he's given up on
- 12:41dating in this specific scenario, and that is when the ex girlfriend rings the
- 12:52doorbell camera of the ex boyfriend and asks where have you been, even though
- 12:58she told him not to contact her anymore? M Kay, Yeah, that
- 13:03shows up. I have to come all the way yere on my day off.
- 13:11Let's also point out very quickly on this doorbell camera video that before I
- 13:16even heard the video, when I saw Trey post this on Instagram, I
- 13:18looked at the background and thought, Hey, those houses look kind of British
- 13:24and the female subject in question is a very pretty black lady. So I
- 13:28was like, Oh, I wonder if she has an English accent, and
- 13:33just because you haven't texted me, she does. I don't know why I
- 13:35felt the need to point that out, but it made me feel good,
- 13:37so I felt like sharing it with you. So anyway, back to the
- 13:39crazy on my day off, just because you haven't texted me? Sorry,
- 13:46what why do you act like that? Well? Because you but why are
- 13:50you here because you haven't said anything to me for the past two weeks.
- 14:00Have you seen me? Okay, but you told me to not to not
- 14:03contact to anymore. That doesn't mean don't contact me. You don't like Yes,
- 14:11I've dated the American version of her, The Ricky Gervase version is way
- 14:20better. Oh that really, to me is like if this was a movie,
- 14:28that would be one of the all time classic lines from film. Why
- 14:33haven't you in contacted me? You told me not to That doesn't mean,
- 14:37that doesn't mean don't contact me. It's just so good, it really is
- 14:46frightening. Back to this. Okay, have you seen me? Okay,
- 14:52but you told me to not to not contact to anymore. That doesn't mean,
- 14:58don't contact me? Like, are you actually thick? You said to
- 15:03me you would appreciate no further contact. You broke up with me, that
- 15:09was me then two weeks to even care about my life as to be dead
- 15:13for all year and you just don't care. Don't care about my family,
- 15:18don't care about my pet, you don't care about my cat that you love
- 15:20so much. Okay, how am I supposed to contact you yet? When
- 15:24you've blocked me? You blocked me off Instagram, blocked my phone? How
- 15:28was I supposed to contact you? You're acting like you don't know where I
- 15:31lived. You could have come, you could have you could have emailed me.
- 15:35I've got another Instagram. I've got three Instagram accounts and we have an
- 15:37a contact with me. How dare you? That may be my favorite part?
- 15:45You blocked me on Instagram. Baby, I've got more accounts. You're
- 15:50just not trying hard enough, you know, acting like you don't know my
- 15:54aliases and I like that, Like you can just show up at my house.
- 16:00Yeah, that's how people get shot and or her arrested. Yeah,
- 16:04yeah, she's she's turned it to eleven. I like her. Well,
- 16:10that's the thing that to me that's yet. That's another special angle on this
- 16:14is that it's a fight really just between the ex girlfriend at her boyfriend.
- 16:19The boyfriend's like why are you? But it's all still very British. If
- 16:22this was the American version, it'd be way louder. Yeah, also can
- 16:29like just for the neighbor, because this is how my brain works, Like
- 16:32I just see the neighbors like is she talking? Is that crazy bitch talking
- 16:34to the door, Like that's what that's what it looks like. Can she
- 16:40see like is it one of those cameras where she can see his face?
- 16:42It is still on the door, but like she looks like she's making eye
- 16:45contact, or she's done this so many times she knows where to look.
- 16:51That's an excellent point. Yeah, she knows, she knows right there is.
- 16:55Yeah, it's the sweet spot to look deep into his soul and convince
- 16:59him that he's in the wrong here. What do you mean? How dare
- 17:03are you? Bought me? You taught me to not contact you. I've
- 17:07literally been waiting for two weeks and you still haven't said anything to me.
- 17:11I'm yet because when I tried to message you and when I tried to call
- 17:17you, you just ignored me. I think, after text after text after
- 17:21text, and then you send me a big old paragraph, yeah, explaining
- 17:25saying all of the feelings aren't the same anymore, and now you'd appreciate for
- 17:27me, for me to leave you alone. I don't know why you hate
- 17:32me so much. I was waiting for it. I was wondering where that
- 17:37line was going to come in. You know, it's it's good to see
- 17:41uh that uh, that kind of crazy is universal. I was just thinking
- 17:47of that. It just you know, the Atlantic can't stop that kind of
- 17:52crazy. No, no, that uh, because that line has that line
- 17:56has been used on me of me too. But I'm just like the Atlantic
- 18:02has sank the Titanic. It can't think crazy crazy makes it to port on
- 18:08time, if anything, a little early and unannounced when you least expected.
- 18:18Just drop the sea word in the Turbo Express. Look at that. It
- 18:25looks like there's more than one person capable of walking on water. Yeah,
- 18:36that's a I've had the that's why you hate me so much. You don't
- 18:41even care about me. Yeah, okay, well you left. I like
- 18:45how she got dressed, Like she got dressed, and she's like, I'm
- 18:49gonna talk to that door. You'll see you'll love me again. I don't
- 18:56know how it ends, but I hope, uh, I hope he didn't.
- 18:59I know what happened. He went back to her. It has to
- 19:02be. It has to be that he went back. Does he go back
- 19:04to her Trey? I'm gonna guess he thought about it. I'm gonna guess
- 19:11he probably posted that video just to to scorch the earth so he couldn't.
- 19:15There you go. Oh, he protected himself from himself. That is very
- 19:21smart. Let's skip to the end. See what happens. Well, yeah,
- 19:25I don't want to. I hate you. Oh that was actually a
- 19:32perfect uh skip ahead? Why do you hate me too? I hate you
- 19:37so much? You gotta you gotta give credit to the crying. It's so
- 19:41it's so good. You can come and show your face. You can't even
- 19:45calm down and speak to me. I don't want to. I hate you,
- 19:52so book I think the medicine is kicking him now. Mm hmmm,
- 20:00book me up. But you booked me? I mean uh oh, we
- 20:10run out of logic. Oh, that that was that was empty long ago.
- 20:17You on blocks right now? Which account she's got to toggle between all
- 20:30of them? You're on blocked. This one says I have to pay five
- 20:33ninety nine. Oh bollocks, you're in the tree house. Visit us online
- 20:44at Treehouse on Air dot com. Two one, four, three six eight
- 20:56thirty eight thirty eight. That is the phone number to reach Jacqueline at Brooks
- 20:59Plumbing for any and all of those plumbing wants and needs the website Brooks Plumbingtexas
- 21:03dot com. We talk a lot about the need side of things with the
- 21:07plumbing business. Typically, when you get a call someone's in distress, there's
- 21:10an emergency. I'm wondering, what's a really fun want on the plumbing side
- 21:15that someone will call you with and you get and you just get excited and
- 21:18you're like, yeah, let's do this. Okay. So this is an
- 21:21unfair question because I'm a woman, so I look at plumbing differently. So
- 21:26for me, a pot filler, which is basically it's a waterline that gets
- 21:30run to basically above your stove and there's a faucet that exists solely so you
- 21:33can swing that sucker out and fill a pot without having to walk the pot
- 21:38from the sink to the stove, which is the world's most ridiculous first world
- 21:42convenience. But to me as a woman, that's very exciting, which is
- 21:45stupid because I've never filled a pot so big that I couldn't just walk it.
- 21:49Clearly, it's the first world conveniences that tickle my fancy. So people
- 21:53are now installing essentially dog washing stations in their utility room. So it's like
- 21:59a really you think about if you take your dog to the place where you
- 22:03can put there's like a little hop up step and you put them in the
- 22:06little compartment and you use their their washing materials, their shampoo, their conditioner.
- 22:11They're doing that, but it's like at dog height in the utility room
- 22:15off of the mudroom, and it's got a almost commercial grade veggie sprayer like
- 22:21you would see in a restaurant, and it's just meant for washing your dog.
- 22:25And uh, that's a level of bougie that I aspire to one day.
- 22:29And even though I work in plumbing, I don't ever think I'll do
- 22:30that. But that is a first world convenience. Your own dog log there,
- 22:34you just heard it. Jacqueline said she wants that project, so give
- 22:38her a call. Two one, four, three, six, eight,
- 22:41thirty eight, thirty eight and again that website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com.
- 22:48You are in the Treehouse, visit us online at Treehouse OnAir dot com.
- 22:53This segment of the Treehouse brought to you by Brooks Plumbing for Any and All
- 22:57of Your plumbing wants and needs called Brooks Plumbing two one four three six eight
- 23:02thirty eight thirty eight. That's two one four, three six eight thirty eight
- 23:06thirty eight. I say want or need because sometimes you got like a fun
- 23:08thing you want to do, uh with some plumbing in the house. Like
- 23:11I remember the last house we had in Dallas. It actually did not have
- 23:15a garbage disposal in the scene. It was like, well, I live
- 23:18in I live in America, damn it, I'm gonna make sure I'd not
- 23:23only have a garbage disposal in there, but one that could, you know,
- 23:26chew up a beaver dam if I wanted to, so did that,
- 23:30uh? Or if it's in need, like when I had a slight sewer
- 23:33leak, Brooks Plumbing was there next day and fix that for me. So
- 23:36there you go. Two one fourth three six eight thirty eight thirty eight.
- 23:37Brooks Plumbing for any and all of your plumbing wants in needs, Brooks Plumbing,
- 23:41Texas dot Com. Ah, you know what it's time for, right,
- 23:48yes? Oh yeah, okay, just make sure it is a time
- 23:55for birthdays. Today is Friday, July twelfth, two thousand, twenty four.
- 24:00Birthdays Today from the marvelous missus Bezel Rachel Brosnahan turns thirty three. That
- 24:07is what she is best known as, although that will change, I believe
- 24:11next year when she debuts as Lois Lane in the upcoming Superman Legacy movie that
- 24:18will be part of the new DC Comics movie universe, spearheaded by James Gunn
- 24:25So that'll be interesting to see how the new Superman goes. It's very Christopher
- 24:30Reevish. I'm just saying, I don't know if you've seen some of the
- 24:33pictures. I've seen some. Yeah, my algorithms keep showing me, you
- 24:37know, nerdy stuff like, Okay, here's a here's a shot of whatever
- 24:41the actor's name is playing Superman in a Superman outfit, and everyone's like,
- 24:44oh, looks terrible, looks like garbage. Blah blah blah blah blah.
- 24:47Sorry, Alex Jones is also in it. I saw a story and I
- 24:51don't know if it's true. Or not that Christopher Reeve's son is going to
- 24:55have a small part in it, and it's like a newspaper reporter. Yeah,
- 24:57he looks remarkably like his dad. Really yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 25:03but he is. I thought they were trying to get him to play Jimmy
- 25:07Wilson, but I don't know. Yes, that that Yes, that was
- 25:11it. Okay, Yeah, so I think he is playing Jimmy Wilson,
- 25:14which is very cool that his son's going to be in that, which is
- 25:18one of those things that Hollywood's doing now because I don't know if you've seen
- 25:22the Sopranos pretquel, but that's James Gandalfini's son is playing the young Tony Soprano.
- 25:30I did. I did remember hearing about that. I didn't watch the
- 25:32prequel, but I remember thinking, oh, that's a cool thing, getting
- 25:34him to take the role that his dad made famous. Yeah, it's working
- 25:38in baseball and basketball. Nepotism lives. Oh, Nepotism is strongest in two
- 25:45industries, right, Hollywood and sports. Oh. If there was no nepotism,
- 25:49you wouldn't have any more Bollywood movies. That'd be over, Like they
- 25:53couldn't get their kids in I mean their whole thing is like there's one family
- 25:57that runs that's in every movie. Like that's just a fact, Like they're
- 26:02in all the stuff. It's pretty impressive. So yeah, the entertainment industry
- 26:06very much so because uh, you know, you you put Kate Hudson,
- 26:11she can't she's not good. She's not good at the acting. Well her
- 26:15parents or so that's what is she not? Like I like Kate, she's
- 26:22the same person in every movie. Well, that can be said about a
- 26:26number of people. Look at Vince, I say, okay again, point
- 26:30noted correct, Like I don't look at it this way. I don't know
- 26:33if anyone's really looking at someone like say, when I like Vince Vaughan,
- 26:37who in essence plays the same you know, it's him just with a different
- 26:41name. Right, he basically plays the same thing in every film. No
- 26:45one's gonna go out there and say, oh my god, what a fine
- 26:48actor. But he is a star. And to me, that's the difference.
- 26:52In Hollywood. You've got two things. You've gotten the stars and you've
- 26:56got the actors. Yeah, you occasionally get them overlapping, and that's when
- 27:00you get, you know, the mega talents, like say at Denzel Washington.
- 27:04Yes, okay, I agree with that. She is. She is
- 27:07very much a star. She's not an actor. I thought she there was
- 27:14a genre of kind of late nineties early two thousand kind of rom com movies
- 27:18where she was good and yes, she was the same person in every single
- 27:23that's the movies were good. I mean I put her in the Drew Barrymore
- 27:30category basically of yeah, there you go, that's that's fair. That was
- 27:34Yeah, this generation or our generations, Drew Barrymore was still ours. So
- 27:41yeah, but yeah, that's that's who. That'd be perfectly fair to put
- 27:45her in that thing. Letty from The Fast and the Furious movies. Michelle
- 27:48Rodriguez, she is forty five. She's also in the Resident Evil movies.
- 27:52She was avatar also on Lost of course tof Ford Grace from that seventies show,
- 27:59and Venom in Spider Man three. He is forty six today. Wow
- 28:03WWE Superstar brock lesnar forty seven. There's also Christi Yamaguchi, Olympic Golden Medalist
- 28:14and Dancing with the Stars champion she won the sixth season. She is fifty
- 28:18three today, and Young Hun Lee is fifty four. He plays the T
- 28:23one thousand and Terminator Genesis Billy Rocks in the Magnificent Seven remake, which,
- 28:27if you guys have not seen the Magnificent Seven remake, interestingly enough, headed
- 28:32up by Denzel Washington, who just got mentioned here on the show. It
- 28:36is wonderful And he also played storm Shadow in the Gi Joe movies. Gotch
- 28:40And Richard Simmons is seventy six. Oh, supposedly nobody's seen him, so
- 28:47he could be dead. I don't think he's dead. No, I think
- 28:51he's just got one of those like quote assistants that's just like now, like
- 28:56about ten years ago figured out like, hey, I can steal all his
- 29:00money if I just keep him trapped in a closet or just in a box
- 29:03in a basement. And so, but how much money does Richard Simmons really
- 29:07have? That if he has a rogue assistant siphoning money off of him,
- 29:14Like, how long can that truly last? Uh? There, he had
- 29:17a lot of money, yeah, really yeah, sweating to the oldies.
- 29:22They made a lot of money. I mean yeah, I mean his house
- 29:26is in the hills, in the Hollywood Hills, and I'm guessing it's in
- 29:29the like four to five million six million dollar range. I would imagine he's
- 29:33one of the few residents of the Hollywood Hills that he can say his house
- 29:36was built on the backs of old women. There's a lot of producers that
- 29:41can say that his just wasn't sexual. Last I'm saying old women. Yes,
- 29:48yeah, he put a lot of He put a lot of new balances
- 29:51on a lot of feet, That's what he did. But yeah, my
- 29:53grandmother was one of them. Oh she did. She had swept to the
- 29:59oldies. Letterman and him were really good friends, Like he was on Letterman
- 30:02all the time. Yeah, yeah, my grandmother would she'd sit in her
- 30:06recliner, eat a half gallon tub of bluebell butter pecan ice cream and watch
- 30:10sweating to the oldies. That was target demographic at least at least was bluebell
- 30:19ice cream and like a half a roast, And she wasn't meat sweating to
- 30:23the oldies. You know, well, that actually would have been a more
- 30:26optimal nutritional plan, insulin shock to the oldies. Revive me with Richard Simmons.
- 30:41All right, Raj, I know you're not a gun guy. So
- 30:45when Trey found this story, I immediately thought this would be perfect for your
- 30:52home defense scenario. Okay, okay, I mean it. Okay, I'm
- 30:59listening. I'm all okay, hear me out. Okay. Meth fueled attack
- 31:06squirrel. Okay. How does it know not to attack me because you give
- 31:12it the myth? Yes, because methods are not known to turn on their
- 31:18dealers. That's a squirrel. That's why you used the squirrel and not a
- 31:22meth human. Let me give you some more context. An Alabama man accused
- 31:27of keeping meth fueled attack squirrel is facing new charges. Mickey Palk was arrested
- 31:34in twenty nineteen after authorities received a tip about the allegedly drugged squirrel. Aside
- 31:41from the rodent, police also found body armor and meth. Yeah. His
- 31:48new charges, though in a trial, have been delayed. NBC affiliate reported
- 31:55last Monday that he was set to start a bench trial that continued until the
- 31:57end of February because because his attorney was not there. After his arrest in
- 32:04twenty nineteen, he was charged with possession of a wild animal, stolen property,
- 32:07and weapon possession by a felon, and the Limestone County Sheriff's Office relieved
- 32:12released images of the attack squirrel. Just to give you a quick synopsis of
- 32:20it. It just looks like a normal squirrel because it's in their custody,
- 32:22so it's not currently on the meth. It's been detoxed. Yeah. No,
- 32:25See that's the point in the story where I would if you were if
- 32:29this was an actual live news show, I would have switched out just as
- 32:31a prank for you know, because we're buddies. I would have switched it
- 32:35out for just a picture of Gary Busey, because if a meth fuel squirrel
- 32:45were to come to life be him, it would be the abuse. Okay,
- 32:51then I have an impromptu question for you, gentlemen. If you had
- 32:58to face off f match against a meth fueled attack squirrel or Gary Busey,
- 33:07which one are you choosing as your opponent. I'll go with the meth fueled
- 33:14squirrel because it'll be more coherent, it might be more suggestive to reason.
- 33:22But I mean if you do go with Musy, I mean, he might
- 33:23end up fighting your car next to you, thinking that's you, and then
- 33:28you can just kind of politely walk away. Yeah. I'm gonna go with
- 33:31the squirrel as well, because at least the myth has a chance to eat
- 33:37away those front teeth of the squirrel teeth are impervious. You're listening to the
- 33:55Treehouse. Visit us online that tree House on Air. You're in the Treehouse.
- 34:19Visit us online at Treehouseonair dot com. I would be remiss if I
- 34:23did not mention the Treehouse Pool Party that is happening Saturday, July twenty seventh,
- 34:30from one to four pm issue at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Dallas.
- 34:36It's on Arturo Boulevard in Dallas. It is the Treehouse Pool Party one
- 34:42to four pm. It'll be a live taping of this hair show that you
- 34:45can come and witness and kind of play along with. I have a couple
- 34:50of ideas for things that we're going to do that will be interactive with everyone
- 34:52that is in attendance. So it's a huge benefit for you to come and
- 34:58watch the show. Jump in the pool if you feel like it. Drinks
- 35:00at the bar. There's an indoor bar, outdoor bar, a grill where
- 35:05they're selling food and all sorts of stuff. Volleyball saying, volleyball, kids
- 35:10pool, adults. Pool Caban is available for rent. If you've never been
- 35:16to the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Dallas, which most people just refer to
- 35:22as the Foe. It is a rocking spot, especially in the summer when
- 35:25they open up their pool to the public. When if you've ever been in
- 35:30a scenario where you live someplace that does not have a pool and it's one
- 35:34hundred million degrees in Texas and you want to get in a pool and you
- 35:37don't know anybody with one, and you can't sneak into somebody else's apartment complex.
- 35:40You go to the FOE and you have a great time. Yes,
- 35:44And it's very inexpensive, and it all goes to I believe for their charity,
- 35:49which is Eagles. No, I have no idea what they do.
- 35:53They're very charity, very charity forward at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and
- 35:58we're working on that being a charity component for the foundation is well. So
- 36:02it'll be a big day at the FOE in Dallas Saturday, July twenty seventh.
- 36:07And as if all that stuff already isn't cool enough, We're also going
- 36:10to be celebrating Trey's birthday and and I like Trey's vulcan eyebrow raised like I'm
- 36:15going to celebrating true. We're also going to have Treehouse merch, very special
- 36:21Treehouse merch that Trey got a prototype of in the mail. Don't share yet
- 36:29exactly what it is. I want it to be somewhat of a surprise at
- 36:30the event. But it's more than just our logo. It's based on a
- 36:37very popular punchline inside the show now for over a year, and that'll be
- 36:42the central artwork for shirts. Possibly had maybe coozies, we'll see. But
- 36:46you got to come to the Foe in Dallas Saturday, July twenty seventh,
- 36:50hang out with us the Treehouse for our fool party. Yay. And now
- 36:55I got to deliver on these two other teases for news. Who has the
- 37:04power? He Man? You would think you would think he Man would have
- 37:09the power he does in the cartoon, but not in the real world.
- 37:13Because you guys are familiar with smart thermostats, yes, yes, well there's
- 37:22a new type of program that is being rolled out in some cities and some
- 37:28states, including Los Angeles and Oregon. The smart thermostat programs are becoming more
- 37:36and more common. We all know, like Nest cams and things like that.
- 37:39Different companies have smart thermostats. But now because those thermostats are smart,
- 37:45they're connected to the internet. You can choose if you want to join a
- 37:52program with your local energy provider where they are given access to your smart thermostat,
- 38:00so instead of them simply asking you to conserve during peak consumption hours,
- 38:05they can turn your thermostat up for you. See, and I can already
- 38:12see that of all the things that have come along in the last you know,
- 38:16a couple hundred years, this may be the final straw that gets Texas
- 38:22to secede from the Union, because nobody, you're not giving up our thermostats.
- 38:25I'm thinking that are there. This is the next civil war. This
- 38:30is the thing you don't give. You shouldn't give states where high potent weed
- 38:37is legal the ability to come up with ideas, because what that was was
- 38:43two really stone dudes on California and or Oregon weed. I've had them both.
- 38:47They are delightful. You're not moving you when you get high, you
- 38:53are you are sat. So you better have your snacks and everything ready to
- 38:58go. You need to set your thermost to where you want it to be.
- 39:01And I'm sure there was just two dudes who were so stone. They're
- 39:04like, man, you got to turn the air down. I'm like,
- 39:07man, I wish I couldn't like, wouldn't it be great if the power
- 39:09company could do it for us? And then somebody overheard that went brilliant,
- 39:15idea, that's what we're going to do. Oregon's biggest Oregon's biggest power companies
- 39:20rolling out a new smart thermostat program where they get to change the temperature in
- 39:24your home. Other cities have been adding similar programs over the last few years.
- 39:29You install the smart thermostat, pay a little bit less each month in
- 39:31exchange for letting them control your thermostat remotely. During peak hours, they up
- 39:37the temperature by a few degrees to reduce strain on the grid, usually between
- 39:43three PM and nine PM. The new Oregon version limits it to three degrees,
- 39:46so if your thermostat is set to seventy one, they would be allowed
- 39:50to turn it up to seventy four. Some cities set the max even higher,
- 39:54like a program in Los Angeles that lets them increase it by four degrees.
- 39:59How However, keep this in mind. You can override it by changing
- 40:02the temperature manually, so keep that in mind. Yeah, mine set to
- 40:07seventy four anyway, Like, yeah, and that's still chili for me.
- 40:15Yeah, I don't under like I don't. I mean, I don't understand
- 40:19like the sixty seven, like I just that's seventy four is chili. It
- 40:24can be, yeah, like I prefer I seventy four is like I can
- 40:29tolerate that. I'm good like, but I'll go out, like I go
- 40:31out for my walk and now like in this heat, now, like I
- 40:36go for like seven miles and then you come back and you want a nice
- 40:40cold place, Yeah, it's it's seventy four. So but I get it,
- 40:45RAJ. You've been outside and it's one hundred and ten when you walk
- 40:50inside. Seventy four feels great, fantastic. I love that. And they're
- 40:53like five minutes and then you got to crank it down to seventy. No,
- 40:58no, no, I don't. I don't uh you adapt like you
- 41:00know. I'm just saying, like I've dated girls that have to have it
- 41:05like sixty seven, sixty six, and I just turn it up just a
- 41:07little bit every now and again, and I'm like, where's that at now
- 41:12seventy three? Well, no surprise that Trey likes his women cold. I
- 41:21would also it limits it keeps it more in a stasis. Cry agen it
- 41:30crazy with an emphasis on cry. I would also like to point out that
- 41:44they have this, you know, smart thermostat program in LA where the power
- 41:49company can control your thermostat remotely. Isn't LA? Isn't the LA Power Company
- 41:57PG and E Pacific Gas and Electric. I didn't. I used LEDWP Okay
- 42:08department. I bring that up because I found a YouTube video where it says
- 42:14PG smart Thermostat program. And I'm sorry, but if you've seen Aaron Brockovich,
- 42:21is there any way you're going to grant PG and E access to anything
- 42:24of yours inside your house? They turned the thermostat, they turned the temperature
- 42:31up, and then just start leaking in like toxic fumes as well. Yeah.
- 42:37No, I mean it's it's there's parts of LA that you don't need
- 42:42air conditioning anyway, So I don't have a problem, Like, I mean,
- 42:45you what's your temperature set up? Really? You want? You want
- 42:49to control your thermostat. I'm already at seventy four. What can they do?
- 42:52They want your thermostat at seventy eight? Oh, they want seventy eight.
- 42:58I could deal with that. Yeah, in the middle of summer,
- 43:00that's exactly what they would do. Oh, I mean I I don't like,
- 43:05I don't trust Ricott anyway. I don't think they They don't have the
- 43:08capacity to release a press statement, so I don't know if they have the
- 43:12capacity to mess with my thermostatus. They wouldn't have to. They would just
- 43:15jack everyone's thermostat up and be like, we're good. No, that would
- 43:20be they be a million Texans standing outside of their head corners daring somebody to
- 43:24come out saying this program is not going to work or roll out in Texas,
- 43:30and there would be no standing outside the headquarters. There would be a
- 43:32siege of the headquarter. That's that's what I meant you. I can't really
- 43:37like I'm brown if I say siege, like the keywords go off with the
- 43:42FBI. So yeah, I try to limit my use of words that white
- 43:49people can say. And finally, today, the biggest, the biggest trash
- 44:00on Earth. Any guesses the Indian Ocean? Actually, No, although I
- 44:07get why you would why you would guess that, No, it's actually Mount
- 44:14Everest. Wow. Oh, that's a rude thing to call white climbers piles
- 44:24of trash leading to the summit. Well, not not just the bodies of
- 44:31dead climbers, but someone posted their video of them a top Mount Everest and
- 44:38in the background, all around the tip of Mount Everest is all this trash
- 44:45left behind. It's it's you know, tent tinting, it's flags that are
- 44:52left behind. It's just a bunch of garbage left behind by the climbers that
- 44:57made it to the top with their surpas. There's actually a whole documentary about
- 45:01five years ago the shirp has got together and try to clean up some of
- 45:07Mount Everest. And you know now that pick it up the trash, the
- 45:12oxygen canisters, the tinting, kicking the bodies down into the ravines. Look
- 45:20at I get it. I also wonder like who sponsors the mountain for the
- 45:24cleanup like they do highways. I just like how they went like we're gonna
- 45:29pick up all this garbage. We're gonna pick up all the oxygen tanks and
- 45:32the tents, and then just they're picking that up and like putting them away
- 45:36and then just kicking bodies off. Well, you can reuse the tanks and
- 45:39the tarts, you can't reuse tim That's an excellent point. Also, I
- 45:51don't know how people outside outside of the ball in the Ambalas are like,
- 45:55hey, you know what, we got to practice and we have to train
- 45:58and the shirps wake up and like gotta climb Everest to get the trash.
- 46:06Yeah, when you think about it, like your community service for a d
- 46:08w Y and Nepaul is pretty harsh. Just sit it out. It's that
- 46:20you got your orange vest and a poking stick open all right. There you
- 46:30have it Treehouse Friday Edition. Thanks for hanging out with us here, check
- 46:37out everything with the show Treehouse on Air, dot com, and social media
- 46:42at Treehouse on Air, and we will see you next time in the Treehouse. See
