- 0:43[SPEAKER_00]: had access to money as a business owner, have your credit, and be in fondible first, perspective is everything.

- 2:24[SPEAKER_02]: is where most of businesses fail.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_02]: Today's guest has seen money from every angle while still in college.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_02]: She started her career in banking at a credit union, learning firsthand how financial institutions evaluate people, business and risk from their she expanded into auto finance in the
- 2:43[SPEAKER_02]: tax preparation, business development, and eventually entrepreneurship.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_02]: But what makes her different is that she doesn't just help people file taxes.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_02]: She helps entrepreneurs understand how money moves.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_02]: She teaches business owners how to position themselves for funding, build credibility with lenders, access capital, and create businesses that are structured for long-term growth since launching our firm in 2019.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: and tax professionals start scale and fund successful businesses using practical strategies and proven systems today.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_02]: We're talking about what banks are really looking for, why so many entrepreneurs get denied for funding.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_02]: How to leverage your tax strategy to build wealth and the biggest financial mistakes keeping business owners stuck If you're trying to grow your business and gain access to more capital This is the episode you do not want to miss ladies and gentlemen round of applause for some of Rafael in the building
- 3:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited about this episode because, you know, we've interviewed a tax professionals before, we've interviewed people who do funding before.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_02]: This is my first time interview somebody who does both, right?
- 3:54[SPEAKER_02]: I love it because, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know,
- 4:09[SPEAKER_02]: I think about the key to financial freedom to me has always been and will always be ownership.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_02]: And so, you know, whether it is owning a real estate, owning a company, storing, investing, or actually owning a business.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_02]: But when I think about entrepreneurship, I've been an entrepreneur on my life.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I worked nine or five, you know, I was a banker as well.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but really when I think about like, you know, entrepreneurship, I think about the ability to own for most businesses go out of business because they don't have the access to funding.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and, and I know that tax strategy also gives you money.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_02]: So this is going to be a well-rounded interview.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to talk about funding.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to talk about, uh, you know, taxes.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to give some strategy.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but for those who don't know who is, some are Raphael.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_00]: Alright, so for people that don't know, I am somewhere I have been in the financial industry since 2008, like you said, started at a creating union in 2008.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: And that was just the start of my journey, I got into the financial industry actually in their accounting.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_00]: In the accounting department, I went from accounting to a long service and that I was in the same credit union.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_00]: So I did a lot of different things from auditing to also long service and then I moved to Dallas and I stayed in the banking industry.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_00]: So if you come from the banking industry, everybody knows that the credit union and bank are kind of different.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_00]: They run a little bit different.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_00]: So when I went to the bank inside, I really didn't like the bank inside.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: So that kind of made me change careers and I got into the auto finance.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: So I've been in this space for a while.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_00]: So that's what kind of helped me actually to go into just doing taxes.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_00]: I started taxes in 2013.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: That was a skill that was taught to me and I was able to capitalize and make it a business in 2019.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_02]: No, I love it.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_02]: So I want to jump right into the sauce, if you will, because when I think about auto-finance here, I think about loans, things that I need to, and I think about taxes, I know that a lot of times entrepreneurs try to save the most amount of money, meaning that they have strategies in which they're not trying to pay taxes, but it lowers their opportunity to get loans.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_02]: Talk a little bit about that balance, right?
- 6:38[SPEAKER_02]: Like what are the biggest mistakes that entrepreneurs are making as it relates to taxes and as it relates to getting funding for their business?
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: So that's a good one that the biggest thing is structure.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_00]: So if your business is set up right, you can set your business up properly from the beginning for not just for funded by also tax strategy.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_00]: So you need to speak with somebody or nobody who has the background to know whether if I need to be a LLC or Escorpo or Secor.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: so what's going to be beneficial for my business?
- 7:10[SPEAKER_00]: So if I set up my business this way, what's going to give me the maximum amount of funding, but also save me the most on my taxes.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: So having the proper structure, if your business is properly set up, you can go get funding, but also save on tax.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_00]: Tax is so you want to have me be vulnerable, but also be able to set up
- 7:31[SPEAKER_02]: And so, and so, sitting at the right way, cause like, I've heard people say that, but, and I, you know, like, how do you know when you need an LLC?
- 7:41[SPEAKER_02]: How do you know when you need an S-Corp?
- 7:43[SPEAKER_02]: How do you know when you need a C-Corp?
- 7:45[SPEAKER_02]: Like, what are the things?
- 7:46[SPEAKER_02]: If I'm somebody watching right now, because I think for you, you know, you went from, you know, having a nine to five, switching over, big becoming an entrepreneur.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_02]: And I think the best way is to really kind of,
- 8:00[SPEAKER_02]: You know, have a strategy, of course.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_02]: But if I'm just starting out and I'm trying to set it up the right way.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_02]: What is the right way to set up a business?
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, a lot of people think that you have to just do a LLC.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: You don't necessarily have to do a LLC.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: you can come out to get and get and do a corporation.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to make a certain amount of money.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it is a difference because you are a shareholder and not a member manager, but you do not have to make a certain amount of money for to create a corporation.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_00]: I suggest to create corporations because what I have been learning over the last couple of years is that corporations look more
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: more reputable to the banks.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_00]: So when you're set up as a corporation, you have your business address, your business phone number.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_00]: You actually have an actual business address that looks like a reputable place.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: You look more vulnerable when you're a corporation's
- 8:58[SPEAKER_00]: outside of the LLC.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: LLC.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: And the reason why I say this because LLC, you can only get so much money with the LLC with the corporation when it's built properly and you build up your business funding, you can get way more funding under a corporation than you can to LLC.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_02]: Ah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's what I'm going to say.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: So it doesn't really matter about
- 9:22[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't really matter about just starting out.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's about what are you trying to do?
- 9:27[SPEAKER_00]: Are you just trying to start your business with just trying to get started?
- 9:31[SPEAKER_00]: So, okay, yeah, if you're just trying to get started, you can do a LLC and a lot of people don't know.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, if you even if you have a LLC, you can always convert it to a corporation.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: You don't even have to start over.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: You can convert it to a corporation, not start over, so say if I had an LLC already for two years, which most banks require you to have it for two years.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_00]: If I want to start looking more vulnerable and start applying for how you're criticalized, I was converted over to a corporation.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_00]: If you converted over, you still keep that same time.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: You may, if you have to change the business name, because
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: Most of the time your LLC has LLC at the end of it.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: So you may have to change it to Inc keep the same business name, but I can see, but you still keep that same time So that that gives you That gives you better that allows you to be able to be more reputable to the means because you still have that longevity on that on your LLC paperwork.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_02]: Wow, so so that's actually
- 10:39[SPEAKER_02]: good and new news for me, because again, I've always kind of heard, you know, people saying, hey, you guys start the LLC start the LLC when you're just starting out and you're saying that it really isn't about just starting out is really about, all right, what is your plan, what are you trying to do?
- 10:57[SPEAKER_02]: And if you have a solid plan,
- 10:59[SPEAKER_02]: And you're trying to, you know, kind of be the best, right?
- 11:03[SPEAKER_02]: Like, like, you know, a corporation that's called C. Corp.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_02]: It might be the best way to go, because you could get more funding, with more funding, but you have to have a plan, all right?
- 11:13[SPEAKER_02]: What's the biggest mistakes that you see when people make, you know, have the,
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: Let me clarify about the S-Corp.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: So with the S-Corp, it's not a, when you're doing the S-Corp, that's not a entity.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: So you have the LLC and you have corporation, the S-Corp is just a taxiglation.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not an entity that you're sending up your business, what the S-Corp is, you still have the LLC, but you're electing to get tax as an S-Corp.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not an easy copy copy copy copy copy.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_00]: So that, that just, when you become an escort, you're having W to employees, your paying payroll, you may pay yourself.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_00]: So that's the difference with the escort.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people don't know.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: They think that an escort is the entity.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's not an entity.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_02]: it's just a tax addiction got it when you say start a corporation it's not as court because that's not it just be a corporate it would just be a secret ah so just do it okay i'm glad that you because again i'm you know i'm not attached professional i don't you know i don't i don't play one on television so that's good information for me uh because i i never knew uh sort of like the difference right and so
- 12:18[SPEAKER_02]: just like LLC is not an entity either.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's like a disregard of what they say.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's like a disregard.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's pretty much, LLC is pretty much people think that they're not live on a have LLC, but you still are live, so a corporation gives you more protection.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: LLC gives you some protection, but with a corporation gives you more protection because a corporation is its own entity, a corporation can stand by itself.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_00]: LLC,
- 12:46[SPEAKER_02]: That's why when That's why it's passed through taxes.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_00]: Pass you is that way you can tax more through the internet.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: So with the LLC, if you're not property structure, where you're going to be taxed anyways, people think that they get double taxed with the corporation, but you get taxed how you with the LLC.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_00]: Because you can tax on the business and then on your personal side.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 13:29[SPEAKER_02]: that a corporation's his own sort of entity.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_02]: But now it makes sense, right?
- 13:35[SPEAKER_02]: Because if you look at LLC and I know this part, at least that would at LLC, see it's a digital entity, it's just like the limited liability cooperation.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_02]: So it's for that protection, right?
- 13:50[SPEAKER_02]: So if I don't want to get sued personally for anything that my business does,
- 13:55[SPEAKER_02]: I create this LLC to give me that give me what it says limited liability, right?
- 14:00[SPEAKER_02]: So it gives me limited liability, the money that's made from the LLC has to go somewhere so it's passed through me.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_02]: So even when I thought, you know, I know that again, I know this too.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_02]: When I found taxes, I'm filing taxes personally and the money from the LLC is on my personal taxes.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have like corporate taxes because I have a corporation.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_02]: And then now you kind of educated me on if I have an S-Corp, the S-Corp is also, you know, it's a, it's a, it's a tax election, right?
- 14:34[SPEAKER_02]: And so I'm just choosing to do my LLC.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_01]: I'm choosing to be taxed as an S-Corp, so I could, you know, save in taxes.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_02]: And then, but, but a corporation is its own entity.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_00]: And so now the corporation is on separate taxes, so we have its own separate taxes You wouldn't even be associated with that.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: Oh corporation stands along and so that also goes with the funding side So when most people when you have LSE you have to use your social you have the personal guarantee most of the time So when you set that corporation up now if it's a new corporation Yes, in the beginning you may have to
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: person you can't see, but once that business start making money and standing alone, that business can stand alone on its own and be able to go get funding.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_02]: And so, so why do people, because I think I think, and look, and it's good, this is good information because like, again, I've been an entrepreneur for, more, most of my life, but like officially 17 years, I think, right?
- 15:35[SPEAKER_02]: It's in 2020, so it's
- 15:41[SPEAKER_02]: I never, never thought about doing a corporation, because the only two words that I think about when I think corporation, double taxation.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_02]: It's the only thing I think about.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_02]: So in my mind, I don't want to get taxed once.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_02]: So, so if people keep telling me double taxation, I'm like, why would I want to get taxed double, which is why I've never done it, but
- 16:05[SPEAKER_02]: It kind of sounds like there's benefits to being a corporation.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: It is.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: And when they say double taxation, what's the percentage?
- 16:12[SPEAKER_00]: Because you're getting tax more as the LLC.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_00]: So it's just all about the percentage in your strategy.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_00]: They think it's double taxation, but it's not you really, especially when you get into a certain bracket.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_00]: Most of the time being a corporation is going to be in a future.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_02]: So I definitely got that.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_00]: Here double taxation or you have to make a certain amount of money to even be a corporation and if you When you're going to go set up a business where do you go you go to the IRS website in the state the state site.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, if you look on our read on our wrist website It doesn't say anything about you have to make a certain amount of money to to be a Corporation there are specific things that is it questions that it actually and most people will qualify to become a corporation
- 17:02[SPEAKER_00]: So that's, that's not a, you know, it's not a thing like we, we hear these things because somebody has said it.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_00]: But how many of us has went to go see.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, you said, you're working on finding it.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_00]: That's the kind of question that is, okay, you tell me this, we're going to find it in.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_00]: We're.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_00]: Where can I go?
- 17:21[SPEAKER_00]: And it has to be somewhere on the IRS website or somewhere where I know that there has something to do with me building, I'm sorry, it's setting up my business.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_00]: So if it's on the IRS website, then that's what I'm going to go out.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_00]: That's even with me with taxes.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_00]: People call me as, hey, is this truth?
- 17:38[SPEAKER_00]: If it's not on the IRS website, it's not true.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm always going to go check, check it.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a fake check that makes sure the information is
- 17:48[SPEAKER_02]: And so I love that because again and I'm glad that that you're here because when I think about taxes, when I think about funding, this is information that my tax professional has never said to me.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_02]: This is information that my people who helped me were funding, they've never said to me.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_02]: And so I think that the fact that you have both set of knowledge is kind of helps them kind of blend together.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_02]: Um, talk a little bit about your tax practice.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_02]: I know you said you, you know, you start you started doing taxes in 2013 and then really kind of took a serious lead later.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_02]: What was the, what was the inspiration?
- 18:29[SPEAKER_02]: What was the spark for you to say, hey, I want to start doing taxes.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_02]: I want to be more serious about it.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, the sparse me was me waking up at five o'clock every morning having to drive My job.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_00]: I think I had to be the work for like 655 So I would have to get up at five and living in Dallas the Dallas traffic is almost like a lamb I'm so the Dallas traffic is bad.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_00]: I had to get up go drop my kids off
- 18:53[SPEAKER_00]: Um, get the work and I just woke up like this came me life.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_00]: It's no way I had to work.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_00]: Get up like this every day and have to go to somebody job.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: Like this and I was very miserable.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, it was like it was, I had to think about like, It got to be something different.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_00]: It got to be something else that I can do.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I was already doing Texas, I just wasn't doing it on a high level scale, you know a high level.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_00]: So it just came to me and like I said, I asked, I was talking to one of my colleagues and we were talking about Texas and she asked the question, do you have it even I was like,
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: Carina, what's the event?
- 19:33[SPEAKER_00]: So when she asked me that, I went in, looked to see what it even was.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_00]: And when was that?
- 19:39[SPEAKER_02]: Well, electric electronic.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_02]: Electronent filing.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_02]: Identification.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_02]: I did.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_00]: Electronent file identification number.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_00]: So that's what you need to transmit text returns directly to the IRS.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_00]: So when I found that out, I was like, OK.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_00]: And what was the difference when you were doing taxes before?
- 19:55[SPEAKER_00]: You weren't following them directly to the IRS.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_00]: I was following them directly to the IRS, but I would have to wait on my money.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: So I was just doing people taxes to like, turbo takes, free taxes to say, so like the free software.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_00]: So once they got their taxes, I had to trust that they were going to give me my, you know, pay me.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_02]: I got it, got it, got it.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_00]: So when she asked me then, I was like, okay,
- 20:19[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, now I know what it even is, so what else do I need?
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: Like, how do I get paid without having to wait on people to make sure that they're going to pay me?
- 20:26[SPEAKER_00]: And that's when I started learning about software.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_00]: So I knew I needed software, and then I found somebody that was like, Ashley just having a client.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_00]: I just, that's the power of social media.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_00]: They would just, I'll just start searching stuff up.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: And somebody that was from I want to say they were from Detroit, somewhere they were from Upstate was coming to Dallas and they was having a class and I just so happened to take their free class.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_00]: and they were talking about tech software.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_00]: And that's why I started getting my first, that's where I got my first tech software from in this high-guar store.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's a nail, I have my own tech software, but that's how I got started.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_02]: And then what has been the success you've seen in running your own techs business, like number one, I know you can't, you're not waking up five in the morning and you're driving a traffic.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_00]: Now, um, at the set, just being financially free, um, another big thing on one of the reasons my kids have always been a sports, like they've always played football, so me having to put in time to go to a football game, or I have to work this Saturday, and that was another thing like,
- 21:39[SPEAKER_00]: No, like because my parents when I play sports wasn't able to beat it because they worked out It's how my mom worked all the time So they wasn't never to be there and I remember that as a kid like I remember Nobody being there so I was like I never want my kids to experience this I never missed a football game So that was a thing a why I had to
- 22:02[SPEAKER_00]: get out of work in, you know, in corporate America.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_00]: It was actually to make sure I was there and be present within my case life.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_02]: And then like, you know, again, you talk about financial freedom.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_02]: I think that most of us are looking for that freedom.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_02]: I think most of us, I mean, I'm pretty sure people watching this show can relate to like, you know, being there.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_02]: Even even,
- 22:28[SPEAKER_02]: from a perspective.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_02]: I know for me, when I started out my career, it was, I needed the freedom.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_02]: I have, you know, two kids and I wanted to be in their lives.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_02]: My dad wasn't around.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_02]: So I said, I, I'm going to be the dad that, you know, that, that's around.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_02]: But even when I look at the level of success, and I'm blessed, like I don't take for granted, what God has allowed me to do in my platform and affect the millions of laws and things in that nature, you know, but from a perspective of success, I know that there's another level of success that I absolutely absolutely attain, but I don't.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_02]: because I want the freedom, you know what I'm saying?
- 23:10[SPEAKER_02]: Like I want the freedom.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_02]: Can you talk a little bit about your software and taxes and why that is something that could help you control your freedom, right?
- 23:24[SPEAKER_02]: Where you're not exchanging, because I know millionaires who are busy,
- 23:31[SPEAKER_02]: and multi-millionaire, so a busy who have to be working in order to make money, but when I think about what I hear you say you got a tax software, I hear residual income, I hear not having to give up physical labor, talk a little bit about that.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_00]: So yes, so we're having my test software.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_00]: I am able to scale with that because I'm able to not only, it helps me with being able to keep more money because it's my software, but then I can also scale because I'm able to give it out to other entrepreneurs that,
- 24:07[SPEAKER_00]: needs um tax software as well.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_00]: So that's that's something I believe like if you've been in the tax industry You should be selling software.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: I give even if you're not a service borough because it's certainly level to the taxes But even if you're not a service borough You can become a tax tax software reseller As a year old so I believe everybody should be selling top software tax software if you're in the tax industry I'm in even CRM
- 24:35[SPEAKER_00]: That's a big thing, one thing that I realized in the tax industry.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_02]: They sleep on CRM, CRM, customer relationships, and yeah, so that was one thing.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, there's a lot of things missing in the tax industry, and if it was all in one place,
- 24:52[SPEAKER_00]: it would be so much easier.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_00]: So, I also created a CRM where to, if you're in the taste industry, you have access to how your funnel should be set up.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_00]: You have access to how your emails should be set up.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_00]: You have access to how you're
- 25:10[SPEAKER_00]: How your email list should be set up so that that's something that's very important Have a CRM's and software is very important because it's it bail systems.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and systems are important Yeah, what is a system being saved yourself time in a gym money and it does because before
- 25:27[SPEAKER_00]: I learned systems.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_00]: I just was figuring it out.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_00]: I just was doing everything mainly if figuring it out.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_00]: So once you learn and are able to be able to place systems in place, it changes.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_02]: And I love, you know, I love that because, you know, systems make you rich, systems create the freedom, systems help you.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_02]: And the other thing I think people sleep on with the CRM is that
- 25:52[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's customer relationship management, right?
- 25:55[SPEAKER_02]: And so, people don't realize that when you build relationships with your customers, they have a good experience.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_02]: The word of mouth is going to get you more business.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to get you more, so more people into your funnel.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_02]: More people into that you're being able to serve and the more money that you can make.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_02]: And what I love about,
- 26:15[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, your business model is that the fact that, you know, you're due to taxes, you have this relationship with them, but now you get to see front, front lawn, you get to see, do they own a business, you know, how much they made in their business, like you get to see all that stuff to be able to now advise them on the funding side, right, which is why I think that's a
- 26:37[SPEAKER_02]: That's a combination like that's a genius combination where it's like a, you know, like well rounded if you will.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and even do you help people with credit as well?
- 26:46[SPEAKER_00]: I used to do.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_00]: I do have people now.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_00]: I kind of refer them out, but I used to do.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_00]: I used to do credit and like I said, all of that goes hand in hand.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I think we was kind of talking about like.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_00]: That's why even if you're in the tax industry, these are things that you should be Our friends because and that was one reason why I started because my clients will come to me Do you know somebody who can do my credit or can do you do credit because there are already trust in me We're doing their taxes.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_00]: They're gonna trust me with everything else So you already have that client base.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_00]: You already have that client sale and it's easy to just
- 27:25[SPEAKER_00]: offer their service, everybody needs credit.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody's trying to buy a house, everybody's trying to buy a car.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're showing people how to, if you either show them or doing it for them, how to fix their credit, how to build their credit, and then
- 27:43[SPEAKER_00]: That way they're becoming fondible.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_00]: Once you fix the credit, you can go ahead and get funding.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_00]: All right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right
- 28:07[SPEAKER_00]: Instead of just going and get the funding because that's what a lot of people do.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_00]: They go get the funding and then they're back and then they want me to fix their credit again I will rather help you go get the funding and show you how to invest and then put it back into your business Put it back into yourself to generate income and not
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: Just speed you know.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, and I love that and so talk about the business coaching aspect a little bit like you like you You have a like a one-stop shop for anybody who's really looking for freedom Because again, that knowledge that you gave earlier about corporations is really really dope Now now I understand it now I'm about to go kind of figure out like Do some things because I have a lot of LLCs and I actually know corporations and again like I said like I haven't had a tax professional tell me
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: Like, man, you need to be looking at the corporation.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_02]: Talk about the business coaching and what do you help your clients do.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_00]: So with the business culture, I'm a look at your business.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_00]: And first, I'm going to see if you need funding, if you need your credit debt, because to me, that's the most important, because that's how I got started.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_00]: I was able to jump into business and get into mutual issues, because my credit was good.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_00]: And once I got into those mentorships, I was able to scale because I was able to go get fun.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_00]: I was already able to get 20,000 dollar credit cards.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_00]: I was able to invest.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_00]: I have access to money.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_00]: So when you have access to money as a business owner, it helps you with being in midterm shifts, it helps you with running ads, it helps you with if you, you know, cloning, talking about cloning, I can go, go get inventory, you know, to me, that's the most important.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_00]: You have your credit and being fondable first, that's the most expensive.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm looking to that and then we're gonna look and see your business, what can we do to make your business?
- 29:59[SPEAKER_00]: Grow, what can we do to scale your business?
- 30:02[SPEAKER_00]: But you have to have the money to be able to scale because I don't want you to consummate and I'm giving you the ideas or the things that you need to do, but you're not able to do it because you don't have the money.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_02]: It's funny that you say that because that's that's usually I'm a problem and I know for me right like like part of my you know my business is really I'm a publisher right?
- 30:23[SPEAKER_02]: So I have a publishing company.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_02]: And a lot of times, authors come to me or business owners who want to blow up their brand.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_02]: And when they come to me, they just have a certain amount of money.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_02]: I don't really take those people because if you're last, if you're last, if you're
- 30:40[SPEAKER_02]: is going to pay for my services, but then you don't have more money to invest in actually, you know, putting yourself out there and the book out there, that doesn't make any sense.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_02]: And most of my clients, like I've had clients who've had six figure launches, I've had clients who really kind of blew their brands up, but they, you talk about ads, like they had the money to invest in themselves,
- 31:02[SPEAKER_02]: And that money to invest in themselves is what blew the month, right, because even myself, like, you know, again, I've been, I've been a, you know, business owner for a very long time.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I consider myself, you know, I got a lot of followers and things in that nature.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_02]: But the truth of the matter is that the way that algorithmer, the works, organic content doesn't get, like, because I have a lot of followers, my organic content gets everybody, right?
- 31:27[SPEAKER_02]: And so if I wouldn't want to make money, I run ads.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_02]: right I put money into ads but like you said you have to have the money to be able to do that because if you're not generating money or if you don't have access to capital you can't you know put the money in talk talk a little because you because you tell you right you have mentorships I know behind the scenes like you've invested a lot in mentorships um what gave you the
- 31:54[SPEAKER_02]: confidence if you will right because most people who haven't invested in mentorship is because they think it's a scam or they don't think they got to get a return on the investment.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_02]: We'll give you the confidence and not just invest in mentorship ones, but you've done it many times over and over and over again.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_00]: Just trying to figure it out like if I see somebody that
- 32:19[SPEAKER_00]: I feel have the answer to what I need or have the solution to the problem that I'm having.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to follow you for a little bit.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to look.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to make sure, you know, okay, they may seem legit.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_00]: And I've done it for people and I got burnt, but I still.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to still invest because it's easier, it's a quick way to success.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_00]: Like if I pay you, you already got the answer to the problem that I'm having, I don't have to go figure it out.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_00]: So if I don't have to go figure it out, and I can pay you, I'm gonna pay you, you know, I pay like I tell my husband, I pay for, um,
- 32:56[SPEAKER_00]: convenience.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I pay for convenience and that's a convenience.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_00]: If you have the information and I don't have the gold figure it out, you can give it to me.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a pay for it.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_02]: It's funny because I am.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_02]: So one of the things I teach in my framework or whatever.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_02]: So I've talked to somebody about, you know, people here that were fun all the time, but I say, you know, I have this acronym called seed, S-E-E-D.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_02]: And I say that most people are at first they start off as seekers as right they're seekers right, but then you have three other types of personalities You have the second E which is the evaluator.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_02]: This is the person who's gonna get the information They're gonna evaluate kind of figure out themselves Then you have the next E which is the expander the expander is the person
- 33:40[SPEAKER_02]: who's going to join the community, who's going to join the mastermind, who's going to be around people and learn from their mentor and the community.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_02]: But then you have the D, which is the dominator, the dominator is the person that's going to pay for done for you, who wants to go faster, who wants to go faster.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_02]: the convenience because if you've done this already kind of helped me set this up so I can kind of go in the in the you know in a fast way you sound like a dominator you sound like somebody like I bet I got this already let me pay and let me go like move the fastest that's the way yeah yeah I will rather just pay for convenience and just have you if
- 34:16[SPEAKER_00]: Now, but I would like to learn it, I'm gonna learn it, but if it's easier for you to just set it up for me and then I can go through it and learn it, that's what I'm gonna pay for.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, not love that.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_02]: I love that.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_02]: Like, talk about your students, right?
- 34:33[SPEAKER_02]: Because you do have a community attached community, you do business coaching, talk a little bit about your students, what are you looking for and what successes you've had so far in your community.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_00]: So I have test business owners and also prepares.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_00]: So I have prepares that are new in the industry, but I also have prepares that have been in the industry a while and making six figures as a test prepare.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_00]: But also we have business owners, so test business owners either start or scale their tax offices and and also add other services so adding other financial services like funding and credit and things like that I teach all of those things.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_00]: I really teach my students how to do it on their sales first.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_00]: So that way, they don't have a problem with doing it for nobody else and you can use yourself as an example, hey, I have good credit.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_00]: I can show you, you know, I can do it for you.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_00]: So I teach them how to do those things for themselves first and then, you know, then we go and get the client say, yeah, if I like, like for instance myself, right, like,
- 35:44[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I'm getting into the OG status of my career where I want to do less.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_02]: Like I'm not trying to do all this traveling and like I am I want to do less.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_02]: And in fact, I invested in this beautiful space here in Atlanta.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_02]: There's another side of my space that I'm going to turn into like a convention center.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm going to really like, all right, I'm going to do conferences, but I'm not going away.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_02]: You got to come there and learn.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_02]: So now I'm at that space, but so I'm always, but I live a great life style, you know, my kids are expensive, my wife is expensive.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_02]: And so I still have to figure out how to build, you know, build other sources of income with my name and my status and what I could do, you know, starting a funding company, starting that, you know, tax business, all that stuff makes sense.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_02]: and I'm just starting out, even though I got a name or whatever, but I'm just starting, I don't know, nothing about the tax business, I don't know, nothing about funding with the first place I started.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'm actually what you're critical of like, and I'm actually what you're critical of like, because like I say, I'm gonna go back to you, you're gonna go be able to go get funding, because just think about it.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's easier to go get a million dollars than it is to make a million.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_00]: If you set up properly, if you're set up properly, if you have your credit score, at least a 700 plus, if you're doing business funding and your business is property structure, it's easier to go get a million dollars than it is to make a million dollars.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_00]: So if I can go get my first million,
- 37:29[SPEAKER_00]: And scale my business, day my business make a million dollars.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to do that.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to act you.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_00]: What your credit look like?
- 37:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_00]: Then if you're, if you're credible, we're going to get funding.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_00]: And then with that funding, I'm going to act you.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_00]: What is it that you see yourself doing?
- 37:48[SPEAKER_00]: What is that you want to invest in?
- 37:51[SPEAKER_00]: And we're going to go.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_00]: and put a plane again.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, I like that.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_02]: And then so, you know, let's say, right, I'm a 780, right?
- 38:00[SPEAKER_02]: So now we get funding.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_02]: So I go to the bank at a 780, how much money do you think you can get for me?
- 38:08[SPEAKER_00]: so it depends on the bank and it also depends on which your profile looks like so if your business is already received some funding or a minority received received some money so if on your business profile save you've already got 50,000 the bank is either going to match that or give you more
- 38:28[SPEAKER_00]: most of times with business finding most banks will start up between 20 to 50k just depends on what you're applying for.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_02]: And what did they see this information though?
- 38:37[SPEAKER_02]: Is it like, do I have a FICO score or like, what did they see this information?
- 38:42[SPEAKER_02]: So, as far as like how much credit that I have already.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_00]: On the business side, they're going to look at your done in Bradstreet, your business experience, your experience business, I'm sorry, done in Bradstreet, and then there's also they have a business eco-fax business, so they're going to look at those that side for the business side.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_00]: Now, like we've been talking about personal side, of course, you know they're going to look at the big three experience, eco-fax and
- 39:11[SPEAKER_00]: for your personal side.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_00]: So they're looking, they're looking, they're going to look at your personal side to make sure okay, he can handle on the personal side so okay, we can give him some business money.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_00]: So it just all depends on what you go and what you're trying to do.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_02]: And then have you, because you said earlier, you worked at a credit union, then you went to a traditional bank and you know,
- 39:38[SPEAKER_02]: different right um who gives the best like like what banks would I go to?
- 39:43[SPEAKER_02]: Who gives the most money?
- 39:44[SPEAKER_00]: I say to, for me, I would say credit unions.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I'm not going to say the most money, but, you know, well, we can't say the most money because the more business that you do with the credit unions, the more money that they're going to give you.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_00]: So the more that you have the positive going through there, if you're getting personal loans, credit cards, if you're doing business with the credit union.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_00]: they're going to keep feeding you.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to keep giving you my they're going to give you out of lungs.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_00]: They're they're going to keep feeding you.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_00]: The bank is a little bit not going to say harder, but they're their processes is different from the credit union.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_00]: So you may not get approved as much or for as much with the bank that you will put the credit union because credit unions are based off of relationships.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_00]: So which if you have a relationship with the
- 40:37[SPEAKER_00]: you're able to get you're able to get funding with them.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_00]: So I always suggest everybody to get a credit union even with building credit.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_00]: They help you with building your credit because you can go get your secure credit cards or your secure loans.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to always suggest the credit union.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I love that.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, you know, I actually used to be a CEO of a credit union.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_02]: So I know that, you know, the difference is really, really big business like with the credit union, the members own the bank.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, opposed to a regular bank where it's really the shareholder's who I think and so the so a bank is looking for maximum profit right so that they could they could make their shareholder's happy while a credit union is trying to make the member owner.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_02]: happy and so it usually has like those favorable terms yeah yeah um what's the future like for someone like when you think about um you know where you're going next what you're trying to build um what does the what does the future look like what do you you know what what is what is what does success look like for you the future I would say it's spending
- 41:49[SPEAKER_00]: to join my team, help helping them to actually be successful.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_00]: I just want to really get a group of people who really is looking to get to the next level.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_00]: So just having that group around me to help them to get to the next level.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_00]: And also the people that are already around me, helping them get to the next level.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_00]: And just expanding my business with Texas funding,
- 42:18[SPEAKER_00]: the business coaching.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_02]: So, so funny enough though, like as you're talking, I mean, I know we talk behind the scenes as well though, like I see, I see a rebrand though.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_02]: What's name of your company right now?
- 42:29[SPEAKER_00]: Seem more tax and business.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_00]: Seem more tax.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because like, I see a rebrand because I think that like I love I love the tax business for you, but again, like we said earlier, I think the fact that you were, you know, you know, you worked in the credit union, you worked in auto finance, you worked in funding, and
- 42:45[SPEAKER_02]: You kind of know these things.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_02]: You know how to structure a business.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_02]: You know how to get funding.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_02]: You know how to get taxes.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like that's the, that's what you lead with.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I'm saying because I think right now, it feels like it's tax business led.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_02]: But I think there's a bigger vision, bigger mission.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_00]: So that's why I changed because it used to be Seymour Tech services, but I changed the name to Seymour Tech's in business.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_00]: Because I am not just having to do all for more.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_00]: I do all for like getting with the business coachings and getting to the business side.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I do do a lot of that.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I love that.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I make sense, make sense, yeah, cause I definitely think that like the next, like if I'm looking in the future, I think the next level is like kind of erasing if you will a lot of years of bad advice, you know?
- 43:44[SPEAKER_02]: And what I mean by that is again,
- 43:47[SPEAKER_02]: you know I think people are living and dying by L.C.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_02]: started L.C.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_02]: started L.C.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_02]: and you know for some L.C.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_02]: might be the best place to start, but that's not a one-size-fits-all.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that that kind of...
- 44:03[SPEAKER_02]: lens lens into that.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_02]: Um, is there anything in this interview, right?
- 44:08[SPEAKER_02]: So we, you know, you give us a lot of information, a lot of great, a lot of great, a lot of moments I'm hoping that people are going to, going to, going to rewind and kind of get into learning, um, you know, about, you know, about structures and taxes and things in that nature.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_02]: But is there anything that I left out?
- 44:25[SPEAKER_02]: Anything that you wanted, you mean the ass that I didn't ask or some words of wisdom that you wanted to leave that I didn't, you know, get you that saying?
- 44:35[SPEAKER_00]: I think we cover everything, but maybe words of wisdom, which this would probably be me speaking to me.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_00]: I would say just do it, like go for it, um, spake assisted, um, and it's really on you.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's really on you, go for it.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_00]: Because like I told you, I've been in this space for a while.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_00]: Um, it's just me being visible.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_00]: Be visible.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_00]: Don't worry about what nobody else have to say or how people feel.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_00]: You, you, I have to do what I have to do to be to get to the next level
- 45:13[SPEAKER_00]: So, I just go for it.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_02]: Well, what would you say it like your purpose in life?
- 45:19[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think your purpose is?
- 45:20[SPEAKER_00]: My purpose?
- 45:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_00]: That's not something that I just, my purpose.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_00]: I would probably say,
- 45:33[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, maybe I can answer you this way, because I'm that person that everybody comes to.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_00]: So when they have a question, I'm with his family friends, I'm that person, so maybe he's me helping people elevate, because that's what I like to do, even when working at the creative union.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_00]: And when I seen somebody having trouble with their creative or something, because I was behind the scenes, and I knew what they looked for, I would tell them what to do to be able to get approved.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_00]: So, um,
- 46:02[SPEAKER_01]: I was saying maybe just really, when's your birthday?
- 46:04[SPEAKER_00]: December first.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so you said it's all right, cool.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so, and this is just like a random thought, but I wrote a book, I need the release it, but I haven't released it yet, but I wrote a book called The Barnathonatics.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_02]: And so I'm big on numerology, and I'm also big on astrology, which people find weird because, I believe in God, right?
- 46:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_02]: So that's why I actually why I wrote the book because I think that people truly believe that like science and and and numerology and astrology is separate from God.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_02]: Like people get mad especially like church people when you say, you know, thank you universe as if
- 46:52[SPEAKER_02]: You know, you know, you know, I'm not saying that God created the universe.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_02]: So if I say thank you universe, if I'm talking to the universe, I'm talking to God's creation.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, like, I'm grateful for my team.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I love my team.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I had the best team ever.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_02]: And so, if I say thank you to my team, that's nothing against God, like God, like God gets the highest praise.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_01]: But that don't mean I can't say thank you to, you know, shop, thank you to the world, thank you to shop, thank you to Jay, thank you to that's why.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_02]: say thank you, and I'm grateful for having a great team doesn't mean that I can't be grateful for my zodiac sign, grateful for, you know, you know, numerology like it's funny because, and this is why this is why I wrote the book of our mathematics, and this is the software, but it's like when I wrote the book, I was looking at my numerology, and so I'm born November 13th.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_02]: But when I put my numbers together, my success number is a 24 slash six, right?
- 48:07[SPEAKER_00]: I think mine is 11.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_00]: I want to say mine is 11.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_00]: I think yep.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_02]: And so I don't think this is a coincidence.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_02]: Anybody who know me from Harlem know.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_02]: that I grew up in Satanicolis projects and I grew up in the building 24.06.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_02]: Like, come on.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_02]: Like, how can you, how is that a coincidence?
- 48:26[SPEAKER_02]: How is it that my birthday, right?
- 48:31[SPEAKER_02]: My success numbers are 24 slash six, but I grew up in the build of 24.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_02]: So I didn't think that was a, I don't believe in coincidences.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_02]: So I started doing the studies and then I was like, oh man, so I started doing that.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_02]: So that's the reason why I asked you.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_02]: because one of the things, and again, I think I've got to practice my own advice is like I have to put the book out there because I always tell people like you don't have a choice and I feel like, you know, do divine mathematics, I can really like help people figure out what they're, what their purpose is.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I would say to that, you said, you know, people look in, and because you believe in God, you can't be into those types of things.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_00]: And I think a lot of that is perspective, their perspective or, and what I've learned is a lot of people don't have the same perspective.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_00]: We can be looking at the same theme, but view it very differently.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what a lot of people do with the Bible.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_00]: We have lurking at the same thing, but we are viewing the difference.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody else may get something different, and it's not made, but they do get something different out of a scripture, then I would or how I look at it.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_00]: And I tell a lot of people, I don't
- 49:46[SPEAKER_00]: read and through it, I get content out of the Bible of things that I can use on my day-to-day life.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_00]: So that's all about perspective.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_00]: And I've learned that once you change your perspective, so how you're seeing things, and how you're looking at things, once you change that your life can change, what you're looking at can change your life, how you are seeing things can change your life.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, perspective is everything everything and it's funny you said I could actually agree like it like when I you know I read the Bible where we the Quran and when I read the those scriptures
- 50:20[SPEAKER_02]: I actually don't take anything literal, I actually look like I think that the Bible is a metaphysical, right?
- 50:30[SPEAKER_02]: And so when they when they talk about when they talk about Job or or not Job when they talk about Judas and they say Judas turned on Jesus, I kind of looked that as
- 50:42[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a metaphor to say we all got a Judas inside of us and are we turning on ourselves right because again my belief system and the description say that we're all made in the image and like this a guy and so
- 50:56[SPEAKER_02]: And so if God is infid the positive, I'm infid the positive, when I see you I see me and so if somebody is turning on you and being against you right a lot of us are living with Judas and side of us right now as we speak we're turning against ourselves we believe we have lived with you.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly right.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_00]: Just by just like what we're talking about, just by not doing it.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_00]: You're holding your set.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_00]: That's the duty.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_00]: Just holding yourself back.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_00]: You're turning on yourself because it's so much inside of you that's supposed to be out.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_00]: If it's inside of you, guy gave you that desire.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_00]: You had that desire.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's supposed to, yeah, you're not supposed to die with that, because, um, one of my favorite guy, uh, let's ground.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_00]: What do he say?
- 51:35[SPEAKER_00]: He said most, most dreams, like in the cemetery.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 51:49[SPEAKER_00]: We have so many people that are should have been this.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_00]: So should have been or could have been, you know, instead of being what I could have been, I'm gonna be what I should have been.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna do what I gotta do.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_02]: For sure, for sure.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_02]: That's good.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_02]: That's good.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_02]: Look, some of Raphael is in the building.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_02]: Um, you know, I appreciate you.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_02]: being inside the vault with us not the last time I enjoy this conversation I'm looking forward to seeing you know how how God uses you more because to get I think that we all go through what we go through we have certain experiences for a reason I do think that you have a unique you know a unique space if you will because and this is no not to anybody who's going to taxes or no not to anybody else is doing funding but a lot of people
- 52:38[SPEAKER_02]: Um, had it been in the game for a long time.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_02]: Like a lot of them have kind of like, you know, stumbled across, um, you know, taxes or funding or whatever the case may be, which is great, which is, you know, as long as they're giving good information, I'm more for it.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_02]: But, but you have a unique kind of kind of kind of space, if you will.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_02]: because of your experience and I think that there's a set of people, I think there's a set of audiences that are looking for the more seasoned professional and I think those are the people that you should be talking to if you're not talking to them now.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_02]: And so I'm looking forward to kind of seeing, you know, where the brand goes and how it elevates.
