- 1:50Speaker 5: burning love?
- 1:51Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 1:52Speaker 5: This happened in Florida. A forty year old woman moved
- 1:56Speaker 5: back in with her husband. They were trying to work
- 1:58Speaker 5: on their marriage and celebrate their son's eighteenth birthday. Apparently
- 2:03Speaker 5: this did not go well and they started fighting for days.
- 2:06Speaker 4: So you can see.
- 2:07Speaker 5: On a camera she walks out of the house with
- 2:09Speaker 5: bags and her dogs, and then her husband sitting in
- 2:13Speaker 5: the car in the driveway, and she looks at him
- 2:16Speaker 5: and says, now we both don't have anything, and then

- 4:41Speaker 4: You're going to Max.
- 4:42Speaker 1: McNown thank you. It's three things you need to know.
- 4:49Speaker 5: There's a new reality show that spots Birmingham business women.
- 4:53Speaker 5: It's called Bell Collective Birmingham and it's going to premiere
- 4:57Speaker 5: on Friday on the Oprah Win Network, which is super awesome.
- 5:02Speaker 2: At eight o'clock.
- 5:02Speaker 5: It follows a group of local business women who navigate life,
- 5:06Speaker 5: their business and relationships. One of the women is Stormy Steel,
- 5:09Speaker 5: She's the founder and CEO of Canvas Beauty.
- 5:12Speaker 4: And then there's other women in Birmingham in it.
- 5:14Speaker 5: But this looks awesome. I'm so excited for that. So
- 5:16Speaker 5: Friday on on, That's the Oprah Network. Taylor Frankie Paul
- 5:20Speaker 5: has filed a restraining order against her ex boyfriend Dakota
- 5:24Speaker 5: and Mortensen. This happened yesterday in Salt Lake City, one
- 5:27Speaker 5: hour before their scheduled court appearance over his existing protection
- 5:32Speaker 5: order against her. She says that Dakota has a pattern
- 5:35Speaker 5: of abusive conduct and coercive control. This all sims after
- 5:40Speaker 5: the incident in February where each one of them accuse
- 5:42Speaker 5: each other of domestic violence. You know, there's a video
- 5:45Speaker 5: released of Taylor throwing chairs at Dakota. This caused ABC
- 5:48Speaker 5: to cancel this season of The Bachelorette, and this is
- 5:51Speaker 5: starting to get real messy as things progress, we will
- 5:54Speaker 5: obviously keep you updated. If you've been wondering why your
- 5:58Speaker 5: allergies are worse producibly, who came in with the sniffles
- 6:01Speaker 5: allergy season is now longer. What an allergist at the
- 6:05Speaker 5: University of Michigan has said, the allergy season is going
- 6:08Speaker 5: to be longer and more severe over time because of
- 6:10Speaker 5: climate change. The best way to help is over the
- 6:15Speaker 5: counter medications like nasal steroid sprays.
- 6:18Speaker 3: It looks like I want to be going to the
- 6:20Speaker 3: store for.
- 6:20Speaker 5: That, and a histamine sprays, an oral and a histamines
- 6:23Speaker 5: and you need to take it like you start taking
- 6:26Speaker 5: it before the allergy start to help prevent it. Once
- 6:29Speaker 5: you sound like producer Blake and you take it now,
- 6:31Speaker 5: it's too late.
- 6:33Speaker 4: I supposed to know.
- 6:34Speaker 2: I am telling you now.
- 6:35Speaker 5: That's three things you need to know more at the
- 6:39Speaker 5: Alabama Show dot com, you were.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Listening to The Alabama Show on.
- 6:43Speaker 5: Demand eight three three five oo, Andbama is the number
- 6:46Speaker 5: to call the show if you ever have an issue
- 6:48Speaker 5: for ask Alabama Ashley.
- 6:51Speaker 4: Who's driving you nuts today?
- 6:52Speaker 7: My mother in law.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Got your mother in.
- 6:55Speaker 7: Law doing when I first met my husband and we
- 6:58Speaker 7: got engaged. If we have an age gap, so she
- 7:02Speaker 7: said a bunch of stuff about it.
- 7:03Speaker 4: What's the age.
- 7:06Speaker 7: Not even that bad?
- 7:06Speaker 4: It's like five years who's older than who?
- 7:09Speaker 7: Obviously I'm older. That's how she had a problem with it.
- 7:11Speaker 4: What did she say about it?
- 7:13Speaker 7: She just said a bunch of like mean spirited stuff.
- 7:16Speaker 7: And I guess she didn't think that he would tell me.
- 7:19Speaker 4: But he did.
- 7:20Speaker 7: And so that was before I got to meet her.
- 7:23Speaker 4: I want to know what she said. What did she says?
- 7:26Speaker 4: This cougar take you boy?
- 7:28Speaker 7: Pretty much? Yeah, like why hasn't she been married yet?
- 7:31Speaker 7: Like what's going on with that? Like I just think
- 7:33Speaker 7: it's weird. I don't know, it's just like very strange. Okay,
- 7:36Speaker 7: So she said a bunch of mean spirit stuff. It
- 7:39Speaker 7: was her and his grandma, And so he ended up
- 7:41Speaker 7: telling me. I think he should have just kept his
- 7:43Speaker 7: mouth shut. So obviously going in to meet her and
- 7:47Speaker 7: for the first time, like I alread even had like
- 7:49Speaker 7: like a grudge.
- 7:50Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that's definitely. And he told you that before
- 7:53Speaker 4: you even met her.
- 7:55Speaker 7: Yeah, I've never met her, and he thought his family
- 7:58Speaker 7: when he came back, he's like kind of upset. I'm like,
- 8:00Speaker 7: what's going on. He's like, I don't know, Like I
- 8:01Speaker 7: told him, I was engaged and like they had all
- 8:03Speaker 7: this stuff to say.
- 8:04Speaker 5: Oh wait, y'all got engaged before you ever even met
- 8:07Speaker 5: his mother.
- 8:08Speaker 7: Yes, the military, and we were all the way across
- 8:10Speaker 7: the country.
- 8:11Speaker 5: Okay, so obviously you're married now, yeah, what was the
- 8:15Speaker 5: wedding like?
- 8:17Speaker 7: So we actually got married in the courthouse that's across
- 8:19Speaker 7: the country and we just moved back here to where
- 8:21Speaker 7: we live now, which is like an hour a.
- 8:24Speaker 4: Mom, you took her baby boy?
- 8:25Speaker 2: Await, So now what's going on?
- 8:27Speaker 4: How does she treat you now?
- 8:29Speaker 7: She's nice now, But I still like, we never really
- 8:32Speaker 7: talked about it. I just like, there's never been a
- 8:34Speaker 7: good time. And I don't know if I should even
- 8:35Speaker 7: bring it up. Produced something's always in the back of
- 8:38Speaker 7: my head.
- 8:39Speaker 3: I mean, you don't have.
- 8:40Speaker 1: To see her, just don't bring it up.
- 8:42Speaker 4: I mean, you do they move back, you gotta see it.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Family functions.
- 8:45Speaker 5: Take her out for a glass of wine, y'all, have
- 8:48Speaker 5: a glass.
- 8:48Speaker 4: Of wine before you bring it up.
- 8:50Speaker 5: I would bring it up, but make sure she's real
- 8:51Speaker 5: happy and got some rosy cheeks before you say something.
- 8:55Speaker 4: That's a good idea.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Call the show. Have you ever gone through something like this?
- 9:00Speaker 5: Eight three three five, I Y and Bama is the
- 9:02Speaker 5: number to call the show? And should she bring this
- 9:04Speaker 5: up to her mother in law? That's eight three three
- 9:06Speaker 5: five I one two two sixty.
- 9:08Speaker 1: You were listening to the Alabama Show on DEMN eight.
- 9:11Speaker 5: Three three and five. I WY and Bama is the
- 9:13Speaker 5: number to call the show? Good morning?
- 9:15Speaker 2: Who's this?
- 9:15Speaker 8: Good morning?
- 9:16Speaker 6: This is Kai? Kai.
- 9:18Speaker 5: Do you have advice for Ashley and her mother in
- 9:21Speaker 5: law who doesn't like her?
- 9:22Speaker 8: Yeah? I actually agree with your idea.
- 9:26Speaker 9: That's a really really good good drink.
- 9:29Speaker 8: The truth is gonna come out, but you know how
- 9:31Speaker 8: people get.
- 9:32Speaker 9: When they start, She's probably gonna start crying and apologize
- 9:36Speaker 9: and they's just and then you need to sneak and
- 9:38Speaker 9: record some of it with her cell phone.
- 9:43Speaker 2: It sounds like you have experience in this. Have you
- 9:45Speaker 2: gotten your mother in law drunk?
- 9:47Speaker 7: Ya?
- 9:49Speaker 9: No, not the mother in law, But I have experience
- 9:51Speaker 9: because I just the people that are my age are
- 9:54Speaker 9: weird and the ones that are older are worse. So
- 10:00Speaker 9: how me you take me out for drinks?
- 10:01Speaker 1: Okay? Deal?
- 10:03Speaker 4: I love you? You are wonderful.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Thanks for calling by.
- 10:11Speaker 1: It's what the hell headlines?
- 10:13Speaker 4: What the hell are you talking about?
- 10:15Speaker 1: On the Alabama Show?
- 10:17Speaker 5: Living in outer space could create a whole new human species?
- 10:22Speaker 2: Why legit like this is true?
- 10:27Speaker 5: So NASA's Artemis program is hoping to build a base
- 10:31Speaker 5: on the Moon by the twenty thirties, so that's four
- 10:34Speaker 5: years away, and they want to use things like lunar
- 10:36Speaker 5: soil and frozen water to support long term life where
- 10:39Speaker 5: people are living on the Moon. Well, astronaut Scott Kelly
- 10:43Speaker 5: lived in space for almost a year.
- 10:44Speaker 4: When he came back, he had.
- 10:45Speaker 5: Major biological changes, even changes to his genes. And on
- 10:51Speaker 5: the Moon there's higher radiation which could pass down to
- 10:54Speaker 5: future generations. So now they're talking about like when people
- 10:56Speaker 5: move to the Moon, literally people could be completely different
- 11:00Speaker 5: here than they are here on Earth.
- 11:02Speaker 4: That is so cool.
- 11:04Speaker 3: I'm so interested in this, Like this is more of
- 11:06Speaker 3: like a cool story to me.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Well to me, it's a.
- 11:12Speaker 1: It's three things you need to know you with the
- 11:14Speaker 1: elementa show.
- 11:15Speaker 5: America's Thrift stores just opened a new donation center near
- 11:19Speaker 5: Target off two eighty So it's one of the five
- 11:22Speaker 5: free standing locations where you donate. Like it's not a
- 11:24Speaker 5: you don't go in and shop, you literally just donate.
- 11:27Speaker 5: It's made for fast drive up service, so off to
- 11:31Speaker 5: eighty right near Target.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Sharon Osbourne is selling her.
- 11:35Speaker 5: La home that she shared with Ozzy Osbourne for seventeen
- 11:38Speaker 5: million dollars. They bought it in twenty fifteen for eleven
- 11:41Speaker 5: million dollars. They initially listed the home in twenty twenty
- 11:45Speaker 5: two before Ozzie passed away because they were thinking about
- 11:48Speaker 5: relocating to the UK full time, but then they took
- 11:50Speaker 5: it off the market. So right now she splits her
- 11:53Speaker 5: time between California and the UK. But I think now
- 11:56Speaker 5: that Ozzie has passed, she's ready to get rid of
- 11:59Speaker 5: the property. Bona just announce their twenty twenty six performance schedule,
- 12:04Speaker 5: so now you know the schedule. Also, there's new editions,
- 12:06Speaker 5: So here's the new things added. Camp Busyhead.
- 12:09Speaker 4: This is a.
- 12:10Speaker 5: Special community camp created with Noah CON's Busyhead project.
- 12:14Speaker 3: I love that. That's awesome.
- 12:15Speaker 5: I hope he shows up at the campground. That would
- 12:17Speaker 5: be awesome. The after hours lineup has expanded. There's a
- 12:20Speaker 5: few more artists performing. There's also a newly a newly
- 12:24Speaker 5: relocated stage to host late night performances directly in cinerrou So.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Bonnaroo is going to be.
- 12:32Speaker 5: June eleventh through the fourteenth. If you haven't gotten ticket,
- 12:35Speaker 5: check go to Bonnaroo dot com. That's three things you
- 12:38Speaker 5: need to know. More at the Alabama show dot com.
- 12:41Speaker 1: If you were listening to the Alabama Show, the following
- 12:44Speaker 1: program is on demand.
- 12:46Speaker 5: Eight three thirty five OI and Bama is the number
- 12:49Speaker 5: to call the show if you have good news.
- 12:50Speaker 4: Charlene, good morning. What are you doing today?
- 12:53Speaker 8: Oh?
- 12:53Speaker 7: Well, I'm gonna take my foster pup to day camp.
- 12:57Speaker 8: But it's a medical thing, so I can't take now.
- 13:00Speaker 3: No, and so I was going.
- 13:03Speaker 8: To take her, but yeah, so she could come with me.
- 13:07Speaker 8: Oh yeah, but that's okay, that's okay.
- 13:10Speaker 6: I was going to have a quiet day, but it's
- 13:12Speaker 6: not going to be that way now.
- 13:13Speaker 2: As I heard the dog parking in the background.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Do you have good news? What's your good news?
- 13:18Speaker 8: Charlene, Well, I'm living and breathing is what I'm doing.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Hey, hang on, that counts.
- 13:25Speaker 4: I'm giving you the.
- 13:29Speaker 5: Hey, I love it. Any day that we wake up
- 13:32Speaker 5: and breathe is a good day. If you want to
- 13:34Speaker 5: share good news, call the show. Hey, three three five,
- 13:37Speaker 5: om Bama.
- 13:38Speaker 1: You're listening to the Alabama Show on demand?
- 13:43Speaker 4: My cat died?
- 13:45Speaker 3: Yes, yes it did.
- 13:47Speaker 5: By the way, thanks for listening to the Alabama Show.
- 13:50Speaker 4: I'm Alabama with producer Blake. I didn't bury her, so
- 13:53Speaker 4: I need us to have a funeral right now.
- 13:55Speaker 3: I don't I don't know if I can keep doing this.
- 13:57Speaker 5: No, we've done t con funerals, but we need to
- 13:59Speaker 5: do at funeral because this is more important.
- 14:02Speaker 4: Dear Dixie, Okay, go on, come.
- 14:04Speaker 5: On, you have you have Jes on your side, had
- 14:07Speaker 5: play for Dixie.
- 14:08Speaker 4: You were a great cat. Dixie was a cat. She
- 14:13Speaker 4: was your pet, and you cared about her. Amen. Okay, Well,
- 14:18Speaker 4: I don't call the shadow.
- 14:20Speaker 5: Eight three three five one Bama is the number. So
- 14:23Speaker 5: she was an old cat. She was ten years old,
- 14:25Speaker 5: and it was her time. And I got home from
- 14:27Speaker 5: work Monday.
- 14:28Speaker 4: I left work a little early because I thought that.
- 14:30Speaker 5: Was going to be the day we had to put
- 14:31Speaker 5: her down. And when I got home, she had already
- 14:34Speaker 5: passed on.
- 14:36Speaker 4: I could not bring it, like, I didn't have it
- 14:39Speaker 4: in me. I could not bring.
- 14:41Speaker 5: Myself to bury her because when you bury a pet,
- 14:43Speaker 5: you're supposed to dig like like four feet right, four
- 14:47Speaker 5: to six feet away from a water source.
- 14:50Speaker 4: I've got a pond.
- 14:51Speaker 5: I also have predators, and I was like, if I
- 14:52Speaker 5: bury her, my dogs are going to dig her up
- 14:55Speaker 5: and come back and come run into the house. So
- 14:57Speaker 5: I took her to the vet to have her cream made.
- 15:00Speaker 5: Also that ain't cheap, and that's what I did. And
- 15:04Speaker 5: I was talking to my friend and you told me
- 15:08Speaker 5: off the area yesterday a funny story about how you
- 15:10Speaker 5: helped a lady bury a dog and more people have
- 15:14Speaker 5: had to bury.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Pets on their property.
- 15:16Speaker 5: My friend her kid, their cat died and her kid
- 15:19Speaker 5: had a whole funeral for the cat, this was like
- 15:21Speaker 5: a week ago, and said words over it and put
- 15:25Speaker 5: flowers over his grave. And then on Easter, the kid
- 15:27Speaker 5: looked at her mom and said, Mom, can I go
- 15:30Speaker 5: outside and eat with Toby? And she took her Easter
- 15:33Speaker 5: plate and sat at the cat's grave and talked.
