Speaker 1: I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time for us to
• 0:02
Speaker 1: go to God in prayer, and as always I invite
• 0:05
Speaker 1: you to join along with me in prayer. You know,
• 0:08
Speaker 1: I think about situations in our lives and our family,
• 0:13
Speaker 1: in our cities and nation that cause us to remember,
• 0:18
Speaker 1: or force us to remember, that our help comes from
• 0:22
Speaker 1: the Lord, heavenly Father. In the name of Jesus, we
• 0:26
Speaker 1: lift our eyes today, Lord, not to the mounds, not
• 0:30
Speaker 1: to circumstances that surround us, but God, to You, the
• 0:34
Speaker 1: creator of heaven and the earth, the one who watches
• 0:37
Speaker 1: over us and never sleeps. Psalms one twenty one reminds
• 0:41
Speaker 1: us that our help does not come from man, from money,
• 0:44
Speaker 1: or from worldly solutions, but from You, the Lord, the
• 0:47
Speaker 1: maker of heaven and earth. Father. Too often we try
• 0:51
Speaker 1: to solve problems in our own strength. We worry about tomorrow,
• 0:55
Speaker 1: we worry about our bills, we worry about our safety,
• 0:58
Speaker 1: about relationship, about our family. But today, Lord, we choose
• 1:03
Speaker 1: to lift our eyes and trust in you, knowing that
• 1:06
Speaker 1: you are our help. You are our protector, You are
• 1:10
Speaker 1: our provider. Nothing escapes your notice. Nothing is too hard
• 1:14
Speaker 1: for you, No mountain is too high, no valley is
• 1:18
Speaker 1: too low, Lord, no storm is too fierce, and no
• 1:22
Speaker 1: enemy too strong for your power. Lord, we thank you
• 1:25
Speaker 1: that you never slumber. You never sleep, You don't take breaks.
• 1:29
Speaker 1: You're awake, watching and working on our behalf. So God,
• 1:33
Speaker 1: our hearts, God, God, our minds. As we face uncertainty,
• 1:37
Speaker 1: Protect our families, protect our homes, protect our steps. Cover
• 1:42
Speaker 1: us under your wings, and let your presence be our refuge. Father.
• 1:46
Speaker 1: Remind us that when we feel weak, you are strong. Father.
• 1:50
Speaker 1: We thank you that when we feel anxious, you are
• 1:53
Speaker 1: our peace that goes beyond our human understanding. When we
• 1:58
Speaker 1: feel lost, you are our God. You are the one
• 2:01
Speaker 1: who keeps our going out and coming in, the one
• 2:04
Speaker 1: who preserves our soul, the one who carries us through
• 2:07
Speaker 1: every trial. Help us, Lord to trust you fully. Let
• 2:11
Speaker 1: our eyes remain fixed on You, not on the challenges
• 2:14
Speaker 1: we face. God, Let us take courage knowing that the
• 2:18
Speaker 1: maker of heaven and earth is holding us in his hands. Oh,
• 2:22
Speaker 1: Let hope rise in our hearts. Let faith anchor our souls,
• 2:26
Speaker 1: and confidence rest and the truth that our health comes
• 2:29
Speaker 1: for you and you alone, Oh Father God. We lift
• 2:33
Speaker 1: this prayer with gratitude, knowing that as long as you
• 2:36
Speaker 1: are with us, we are never alone, never abandoned, and
• 2:40
Speaker 1: never without help. God, Let us live each day with
• 2:44
Speaker 1: our eyes lifted, our hearts steady, and our lives surrendered
• 2:48
Speaker 1: to your mighty, faithful hands.
