Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: On today's show, we'll tell you why the Eagles made
- 0:02Speaker 1: the greatest draft pick in the history of time. And
- 0:05Speaker 1: also we're gonna do what could be our most controversial
- 0:08Speaker 1: segment ever.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Let's go roll the intro. Are you alive where you
- 0:16Speaker 2: won't be for long? All right?
- 0:22Speaker 1: All right?
- 0:23Speaker 2: You damn into your life from Philly. It's the number
- 0:27Speaker 2: one rated Polly and Tony Foolstone Show.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Yo yo yo, As always Polly Fool's go here with
- 0:34Speaker 1: Tony fools Go and Tony you huge show today. You
- 0:39Speaker 1: know you're gonna hear things on today's show that you
- 0:42Speaker 1: won't hear from the rest of the lay media because
- 0:44Speaker 1: you know they're afraid of the truth and all the
- 0:47Speaker 1: potential lawsuits.
- 0:48Speaker 2: You know, we're not.
- 0:49Speaker 3: No, you know, no, are you kidding me? We tell
- 0:52Speaker 3: you the truth because unlike them, we don't consult lawyers
- 0:56Speaker 3: or any of that woosy nonsense.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Yeah, none of that. I mean, we're talking truth, though.
- 1:01Speaker 1: We do have something to say to you. Yeah, you know,
- 1:04Speaker 1: listen to this.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Watch you.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Our views for the last episode on YouTube was suspiciously
- 1:09Speaker 1: down yep, which means you know we were doing our job,
- 1:13Speaker 1: but you clearly wouldn't.
- 1:14Speaker 2: I mean.
- 1:15Speaker 1: There was also a suspiciously low number of comments, wasn't it, Tony?
- 1:19Speaker 2: You know what?
- 1:20Speaker 3: So that's why we've decided that from now on we're
- 1:24Speaker 3: taking attendance. You're gonna write your name in the comments
- 1:28Speaker 3: and write the present next to it, so we know
- 1:30Speaker 3: who's here and who's absent.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Hold on, Tony, producer back that he's given a stink, guy.
- 1:38Speaker 2: What do you look at?
- 1:38Speaker 4: Guy?
- 1:39Speaker 2: What do you want?
- 1:40Speaker 4: This just all sounds like a frankly sad and desperate
- 1:44Speaker 4: way to get engagement on a video and to try
- 1:47Speaker 4: to get more views.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Oh well, you know what's never gotten a view? Your
- 1:54Speaker 1: penis great one. Now, don't listen to him.
- 1:57Speaker 3: We want to see those names in the comments and
- 1:59Speaker 3: write present next.
- 2:01Speaker 2: To it, or tardy if you're late.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, yep, but you know who's not, Donny Tony
- 2:06Speaker 1: us were right on Dimond. Time to get right now
- 2:09Speaker 1: into our top story. The top story, of course, the Eagles,
- 2:16Speaker 1: who naturally won the NFL Draft as they always do
- 2:20Speaker 1: as usual, this time landing what many people around Philly
- 2:25Speaker 1: and up and down our street are calling the single
- 2:27Speaker 1: greatest draft pick in NFL history, and Guy Lemon, wide
- 2:31Speaker 1: receiver out of USC and Tony, the stats just speak
- 2:36Speaker 1: for themselves with this guy, you know. So, in fact,
- 2:38Speaker 1: that's that's why you know, usually we do a take here,
- 2:40Speaker 1: we don't even need to do that because you get
- 2:43Speaker 1: ready for this people. We're gonna do what what has
- 2:45Speaker 1: come to be one of.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Our most famous segments on the show. We came up with.
- 2:49Speaker 1: It ourselves, our original ip. Just follow this what we're
- 2:53Speaker 1: gonna do. This might be a little complicated for you,
- 2:55Speaker 1: but the follow we're gonna show you stats of mackay
- 2:59Speaker 1: Lemon and then Tony is going to have to guess
- 3:03Speaker 1: which other player has those same stats, right, Dony, exactly.
- 3:08Speaker 3: It's such a great original idea, and just like you said,
- 3:12Speaker 3: that's our ip. In fact, if you think this segment
- 3:16Speaker 3: is familiar or like you've seen it somewhere before someone
- 3:20Speaker 3: else doing it, go ahead and write in the comments
- 3:23Speaker 3: where you've seen it before so that we can sue
- 3:26Speaker 3: their pants off.
- 3:27Speaker 2: But you still want them to write present, right Tony.
- 3:31Speaker 3: Oh of course, of course, but do it in a
- 3:33Speaker 3: separate comment so that there's two separate comments.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Yep, do that anyway, Okay, right now we're gonna do
- 3:39Speaker 1: this segment. Get ready called blind resume, blind resume. Okay,
- 3:46Speaker 1: here you go, Dony. These were mckuy lemon's stats for
- 3:49Speaker 1: last year. He averaged fourteen point six yards per catch
- 3:53Speaker 1: and had eleven receiving touchdowns. Go ahead, Dony, and name
- 3:58Speaker 1: the player who had that exact same stat line.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Hmmm, you know those stats sound very familiar. I'm gonna
- 4:09Speaker 3: go out on a limb and say, Randy Moss with
- 4:14Speaker 3: the Patriots in two thousand and eight.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Of course, said it right on the money, Tony. And well,
- 4:21Speaker 1: that just right there shows you how good McKay lemon is,
- 4:25Speaker 1: you know.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Basically Randy Moss in his prime, incredible numbers.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Never lie, Tony, Yo, they never do. You know.
- 4:33Speaker 1: You know who does lie. It's the biased anti Eagles media.
- 4:37Speaker 2: You know, well they do.
- 4:38Speaker 1: The Eagles under fire again because in the draft they
- 4:42Speaker 1: picked a Nigerian athlete named hold On Tony. I'm I'm
- 4:48Speaker 1: having a little trouble with this name, all right. That's
- 4:50Speaker 1: his last name is Banad, that's not obvious, but his
- 4:53Speaker 1: first name, his first name is spelled you a ru
- 5:00Speaker 1: any idea you got done them?
- 5:01Speaker 2: How to pronounce that one? Tony?
- 5:04Speaker 4: Wah?
- 5:05Speaker 2: You know you are? Yeah?
- 5:08Speaker 1: You know, maybe his parents were naming him and they said,
- 5:12Speaker 1: you are Bernard, and the guy writing down the birth
- 5:15Speaker 1: certificate must have thought that you are was his first name.
- 5:19Speaker 4: You know, who are? What?
- 5:22Speaker 2: Huh? What do you?
- 5:23Speaker 4: What?
- 5:24Speaker 2: Do you got marbles in your mouth? What do you what?
- 5:25Speaker 2: You sing on something? What? What are you saying?
- 5:29Speaker 4: It's pronounced who are? Who are?
- 5:33Speaker 2: Oh?
- 5:34Speaker 1: As in nice? Like shut up? Because who are ruining
- 5:39Speaker 1: the show?
- 5:40Speaker 2: Oh? Or who are never gonna have sex with the woman? Yeah?
- 5:46Speaker 1: There you go, by the way, you know why you're
- 5:48Speaker 1: leaving the comments? Why you leave one for our producer?
- 5:51Speaker 1: Tell him to stop talking way forever. Just go ahead
- 5:54Speaker 1: and write that now.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Also, don't forget right present, so that there's three comments.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Three comments right anyway? All right? Ooh aah Bernard if
- 6:03Speaker 2: that's his name? Anyway? Whoa? Bernard is being.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Called a quote controversial pick by the Eagles because he's
- 6:10Speaker 1: never played football in his entire life and therefore has
- 6:13Speaker 1: zero playing experiences. I don't see how this is a
- 6:16Speaker 1: problem at all, deal Tony, not at all.
- 6:19Speaker 3: In fact, I've always said the less experience a player has,
- 6:23Speaker 3: the better. That way you can mold them. It's why
- 6:27Speaker 3: I've always said that the NFL draft shouldn't be with
- 6:29Speaker 3: college football players, but babies, you have the draft right
- 6:34Speaker 3: then in the maternity ward at the hospital. That way
- 6:38Speaker 3: you can evaluate that raw talent, because what's more raw
- 6:42Speaker 3: than a baby?
- 6:43Speaker 2: No, nothing.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Babies are born with important instinctual football skills that you
- 6:50Speaker 3: can immediately test, you know, yep, finding the gap, you know,
- 6:54Speaker 3: cutting through the whole, working a spread formation, and you
- 7:00Speaker 3: know boop control, which is a lot like ball control.
- 7:04Speaker 2: It is. I couldn't agree much, he said.
- 7:07Speaker 1: And you know, so many times I hear these idiot
- 7:09Speaker 1: scouts say these things like, well, this guy is quote
- 7:13Speaker 1: a born winner. Well, how do you know? How do
- 7:16Speaker 1: you if you weren't in the delivery room?
- 7:18Speaker 2: You know, you can't know?
- 7:20Speaker 3: And you know, may I say, just think of what
- 7:23Speaker 3: an honor it would be for the first person your
- 7:25Speaker 3: baby sees to not be the doctor or his or
- 7:28Speaker 3: her mother, father, but.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Instead Eagles GM Howie Roseman.
- 7:33Speaker 3: That baby would know coming out of the gate that
- 7:36Speaker 3: he's been drafted to a class organization.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Totally agreed, donate, although you know, thinking it through, this
- 7:45Speaker 1: might not work for other teams, you know, because what
- 7:47Speaker 1: if that poor baby comes out and sees Jerry Jones
- 7:50Speaker 1: waiting for it.
- 7:50Speaker 2: You know, you know that's a good point.
- 7:52Speaker 3: You know, it might hit the transfer portal back to
- 7:55Speaker 3: the incubator, or wait another trimester before coming out.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Ye, I could see how that could be an issue
- 8:01Speaker 1: up But anyway to more fallout from the NFL Draft. People,
- 8:05Speaker 1: they're still baffled by the Rams taking Ty Simpson in
- 8:10Speaker 1: the first round. Now a lot of people are saying that, well,
- 8:13Speaker 1: Sean McVay looked upset about the pick, and it was
- 8:16Speaker 1: strange that he refused to come out and publicly support it.
- 8:19Speaker 1: And well, I don't blame him for a second, do.
- 8:22Speaker 2: You, Dony, not for one second. I mean, just think
- 8:25Speaker 2: about it.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Sean McVay lives in Los Angeles, and if you walk
- 8:29Speaker 3: around Los Angeles and say I really like this football
- 8:33Speaker 3: player named Simpson, well people are gonna think you like
- 8:36Speaker 3: murder and then you have to say no, I meant
- 8:40Speaker 3: Ty Simpson. But by then people won't hear you because
- 8:44Speaker 3: they've already run for their lives or they've probably shot
- 8:47Speaker 3: you in self defense.
- 8:49Speaker 1: True, great points all around that, Tody, And well, now
- 8:53Speaker 1: let's move to the Jets and what's being called a
- 8:56Speaker 1: bombshell accusation from former Jets running back Le'Veon Bell. He
- 9:00Speaker 1: came out and he said that ex Jets coach Adam
- 9:03Speaker 1: Gaze was using cocaine during his dime with the Dame.
- 9:07Speaker 2: And well, you know, many people.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Are up at arms about this, but I don't see
- 9:11Speaker 1: a problem here, do you, Tony.
- 9:13Speaker 3: You know, if you're forced to be coach of the Jets,
- 9:16Speaker 3: then I think you should not only be permitted to
- 9:19Speaker 3: use every drug, drugs should be provided to you for
- 9:23Speaker 3: free in your contract. How else can anyone coach the Jets.
- 9:28Speaker 3: In fact, most people don't know this, but Todd Bowles
- 9:32Speaker 3: that's not his real last name. No, people just started
- 9:35Speaker 3: calling him that because he just stayed in his office
- 9:38Speaker 3: all day smoking bulls to numb himself from the pain
- 9:42Speaker 3: of having to coach the Jets.
- 9:45Speaker 1: It's true, a lot of people don't know that, Dony.
- 9:47Speaker 1: And there's actually more Jets news. There are reports that
- 9:51Speaker 1: the Jets are considering bringing in Russell Wilson. They'll be
- 9:55Speaker 1: the backup quarterback to Geno Smith. Donny, your thoughts.
- 9:59Speaker 2: You know this is such a smart move.
- 10:01Speaker 3: You see, the Jets have realized through Sam Donald, that
- 10:05Speaker 3: their players play best when they're playing for the Seattle Seahawks. Well,
- 10:10Speaker 3: then by that math, it would mean that the Seahawks
- 10:14Speaker 3: play best when they're on the Jets.
- 10:17Speaker 2: You know, it's as simple as that. It's as simple
- 10:20Speaker 2: as that. That's all. That's it, you.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Know, talking about simple, we've got to talk about basketball news.
- 10:26Speaker 1: There are reports that the NCAA is considering expanding the
- 10:30Speaker 1: Turney Field from sixty four teams to seventy two teams.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Now a lot of people are.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Saying this is too many teams, but Tony, I don't
- 10:40Speaker 1: think this is nearly enough things.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Do you know, I've never understood why the tournament doesn't
- 10:46Speaker 3: just include all four thousand, three hundred college basketball teams
- 10:50Speaker 3: in the country. First of all, you could just make
- 10:54Speaker 3: the entire season the tournament, which would obviously boost ratings. Second,
- 11:00Speaker 3: of course, just think of how exciting that first round
- 11:03Speaker 3: would be. You could have number one seed Kansas facing
- 11:07Speaker 3: number four thousand, three hundred seed Pennsylvania Highlands Community College. Now, sure,
- 11:14Speaker 3: PHCC might only have eleven people in the entire school
- 11:18Speaker 3: and not even have a basketball team yet, but think
- 11:22Speaker 3: of the upset potential. Look of how big it would
- 11:25Speaker 3: be when the number four thousand, three hundred seed upsets
- 11:29Speaker 3: the number one seed.
- 11:31Speaker 2: That would be like David beaton Goliath.
- 11:34Speaker 1: It's such a slam dunk idea, don'ty. I can't believe
- 11:37Speaker 1: nobody's doing it anyway, It's right, dah. While we're talking
- 11:40Speaker 1: basketball in the WIBA this page Bukers sit came out
- 11:46Speaker 1: and said that it's nobody's business if she had a
- 11:49Speaker 1: relationship with her new teammate Aziazi Fudd.
- 11:53Speaker 2: You know, because all these reporters are asking about.
- 11:55Speaker 1: It, and you know there's people out there saying, well,
- 11:58Speaker 1: you wouldn't ask the same question about male basketball players. Well, Tony,
- 12:03Speaker 1: I personally think we should ask those questions about male
- 12:06Speaker 1: basketball players.
- 12:07Speaker 3: You know, absolutely should be asking those questions, and specifically
- 12:11Speaker 3: about Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Why would they call
- 12:15Speaker 3: the splash brothers. You know, I've never understood that. Was
- 12:19Speaker 3: it because they bathed together or you know, went skinny dipping.
- 12:23Speaker 2: You know, I think the people have a right to know.
- 12:26Speaker 2: The people have a right to Here, he goes to me.
- 12:31Speaker 4: Why you can't what it's because the net would look
- 12:35Speaker 4: like it's splashed when they would swish a three pointer.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Oh well, you're going to splash in the ocean when
- 12:46Speaker 1: I throw you off my speedboat.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Yeah, and I'm going to stab you with my swish blade.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Now, shall forget you out there?
- 12:54Speaker 1: Leave a comment on our producer's gearable performance so he
- 12:57Speaker 1: gets that feedback.
- 12:59Speaker 3: And that's now four comments that you're going to write
- 13:02Speaker 3: and make sure you include present next to it.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Yep, you know, on the subject of presence. Well, Mother's
- 13:09Speaker 1: Day is right around the corner, and what better way
- 13:13Speaker 1: to show your love for your mother than getting her
- 13:16Speaker 1: a gift from the official Fusco Show Merchant store.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Of course, it's full of terrific gifts just for her.
- 13:22Speaker 1: In fact, there's a new item in the store, this
- 13:24Speaker 1: new Polly and Tony for Co President logo that you
- 13:28Speaker 1: can put on mugs, shirts, anything, your mouse pads, anything.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Now you are probably dreading having your shopping for your
- 13:36Speaker 1: mom and dreading more even having to spend money.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Well, good news.
- 13:39Speaker 1: You can get twenty five percent off everything in this
- 13:41Speaker 1: store April thirtieth through May third, and that's our gift
- 13:47Speaker 1: to you and your mother. All Right, we're going to
- 13:50Speaker 1: take a quick break. When we come back. Our most
- 13:52Speaker 1: controversial segment ever It could be right after this. All right,
- 13:59Speaker 1: we're back from break. Okay, prepare yourself because you know
- 14:02Speaker 1: we're gonna say something that these media heads they're gonna
- 14:05Speaker 1: get they're gonna get so upset about.
- 14:07Speaker 2: They're gonna get a.
- 14:09Speaker 1: You know, I see these people, they're losing their minds because,
- 14:12Speaker 1: you know, the other week day whatever it was, Lebron
- 14:15Speaker 1: James threw an alley oop to his son Bronnie and
- 14:18Speaker 1: people getting so emotional about this exactly a big deal.
- 14:21Speaker 1: You know, doesn't change the fact that Bronnie James sucks
- 14:24Speaker 1: at basketball. Okay, so he made a shot from one foot.
- 14:27Speaker 1: What am I supposed to be impressed? Exactly? You know,
- 14:29Speaker 1: we have some very controversial takes about this, and we know,
- 14:32Speaker 1: you know, the media and maybe you out there, you're
- 14:34Speaker 1: gonna you're gonna get those.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Panties in a bunch with sensitive you know.
- 14:38Speaker 1: We just want you to remember, we're gonna give you
- 14:40Speaker 1: some ideas here on what we can do about the
- 14:43Speaker 1: Bronnie Lebron situation. Just remember, we're just putting these things
- 14:47Speaker 1: out there. Okay, it's for your consumption, your thoughts. So
- 14:51Speaker 1: that's all this is. So that's why we're going to
- 14:52Speaker 1: bring back another popular segment called.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Just putting it out there. Just putting it out there.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Okay, So you know, when I look at Bronnie James,
- 15:04Speaker 1: all I think about is how he sucks so much
- 15:06Speaker 1: at basketball.
- 15:07Speaker 2: You know.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Now, naturally a lot of people want to blame Lebron
- 15:10Speaker 1: for that, and that does make a lot of sense.
- 15:13Speaker 1: But you know, personally, I don't think it's Lebron we
- 15:15Speaker 1: should blame, because you know, well, Lebron is at least
- 15:18Speaker 1: semi decent that.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Yeah, he's okay, you know. Yeah. The person that I
- 15:23Speaker 2: think we should.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Blame is clearly Lebron's wife, Savannah, because this woman clearly
- 15:28Speaker 1: sucks at basketball, and there were probably all sports. I mean,
- 15:32Speaker 1: you know, I've never seen or met this woman in
- 15:34Speaker 1: real life, but you've got to assume that with that DNA,
- 15:37Speaker 1: you know, this woman must be as close to an
- 15:40Speaker 1: invalid as you can get without being an invalid. You know, again,
- 15:44Speaker 1: never met her, but you know, just putting it out there,
- 15:46Speaker 1: you know, oh, we're.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Just putting it out there.
- 15:48Speaker 3: And you see, I think if Lebron really wanted to
- 15:51Speaker 3: guarantee that his offspring would be good at basketball, then
- 15:56Speaker 3: he should have had sex with the WNBA player. Fact,
- 16:00Speaker 3: I think every NBA player should have sex with a
- 16:04Speaker 3: WNBA player.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Just think about it.
- 16:07Speaker 3: If Lebron had sex with say, Britney Griner, as horrible
- 16:11Speaker 3: as that would be for everyone involved and also not involved,
- 16:15Speaker 3: then that offspring would be much better at basketball.
- 16:19Speaker 2: You know, we're just putting it out there.
- 16:21Speaker 1: We're just putting it out there. I mean that's you know,
- 16:23Speaker 1: thinking about it. The NBA teams and the WNBA teams, well,
- 16:28Speaker 1: they have the same ownership, so clearly they should just
- 16:31Speaker 1: start a farm system where you know, male and female
- 16:35Speaker 1: basketball players mate.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Like you do with you know, horses. Yeah, just putting
- 16:39Speaker 3: it out out there, and you know, think about it.
- 16:42Speaker 3: The process of creating a new human being is called
- 16:46Speaker 3: pro creation. Well isn't that how you make a pro
- 16:51Speaker 3: It's not called amateur creation.
- 16:53Speaker 2: It's called a pro creation. You know. Again, just putting
- 16:58Speaker 2: it out We're just putting it out there.
- 16:59Speaker 1: I mean, you know, if I'm running the Indiana basketball teams,
- 17:02Speaker 1: well I'm getting Tyrese Haliburton to go have sex with
- 17:06Speaker 1: Caitlyn Clarke.
- 17:07Speaker 2: It's a no brainer.
- 17:08Speaker 1: No, Yeah, sure, Caitlin Clark as a boyfriend, but you
- 17:11Speaker 1: know he needs to understand what matters most, and that's
- 17:14Speaker 1: the future of the franchises and also the world.
- 17:18Speaker 2: You know, Zach, again just putting it.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Out, just out there, and you know, we learned in
- 17:23Speaker 3: Philly you gotta trust the process. And what more important
- 17:27Speaker 3: process is there than that of a human egg developing
- 17:31Speaker 3: into a person. In fact, looking back, I wish the
- 17:35Speaker 3: Sixers process had been having Joe l Embiid have sex
- 17:39Speaker 3: with again Britney Griner. You know, I know that's terrible
- 17:43Speaker 3: to envision, and you're all probably dry heathen right now,
- 17:46Speaker 3: But again, we're just putting it out.
- 17:48Speaker 2: We're just putting it out there.
