- 0:00When you're in the car, I want you to think about I want you
- 0:02to look around, look at your partner, and think about whether or not
- 0:05you are what they call car compatible. Are compatible. Every couple needs to
- 0:10have some car compatibility, and a lot of people don't, and it's an
- 0:15issue in marriages. Think about this, so being car compatible, basically,
- 0:19if you're sharing a vehicle or there's at least a little crossover of using the
- 0:23same vehicle, you know, are you having to adjust the seats every time?
- 0:26Are the mirrors in different places? Do you agree on where the setting
- 0:30should be? What no presets are? I mean in presets? So we
- 0:34have the radio situation, weren't good? I went six all of them on
- 0:38ninety eight point seven. Of course, absolutely just in case the other ones
- 0:42go out. I got it. They're all back up. They're all backups.
- 0:45Ah when it comes to so of course we have two vehicles. But
- 0:49when my husband gets into my vehicle, he's like, oh my gosh,
- 0:53because he has to adjust everything. He's like, oh, really, you're
- 0:55just looking at yourself in the mirror, like just all of it. I
- 0:58mean, he just really raz really have your rear view mirror set up so
- 1:02you can see her face. No, I'm just a little shorter than him,
- 1:03so he thinks it's right on my face. That's what I would never
- 1:07just have it no clue what's going on behind the vehicle, as long as
- 1:11I can check my my duck lips solid to day. Yeah, that's really
- 1:15the Probably the best thing Lauren and I, my wife and I have going
- 1:19is there were similar heights and so it's like it's easy to get in.
- 1:22Yeah, although she does while we are basically the same height, she must
- 1:26like have her chest on the steering wheel and she's driving because even I have
- 1:29to like back the seat up, you know, and I tend to sit
- 1:32a little bit more upward, or excuse me, my husband sits a little
- 1:36bit more upward. I'm kind of more of the like the rider. Yeah,
- 1:40exactly. That's so uncomfortable to drive. I don't know why. It's
- 1:44so cozy. It's such a high school thing and back then thinking you had
- 1:47to like, you know and put your wrist over the steering wheel right right
- 1:49at midnight up there. And I sometimes all and I don't know if it's
- 1:53illegal or not, but I kick my leg up like I sit with my
- 1:57one knee how up like like like with it up, like okay, so
- 2:02your foot is up my foot or your knee next to me and my knee
- 2:07is Oh yeah, that's that's such a girl curled up but comfy. That's
- 2:10for two people, women and me, because that's how I do that.
- 2:15Yeah. Yeah, knee tucked up and your foot like on the seat.
- 2:19Yeah. I just I don't know why that's so comfortable. It's probably horrible
- 2:22like if you were to get into an accident, Yeah, like that leg
- 2:24is gone or is that the one you're saving because it's all tucked in?
- 2:30True, it really kind of depends. The one thing that we're not compatible
- 2:32on is for some reason, because he drives wherever we go. I think
- 2:37I've driven him less than two times and we've been together six years. That
- 2:44damn break on my side does not work at the passenger break it doesn't work.
- 2:49It doesn't work. No, it doesn't work. And uh, what
- 2:52if he just gets really upset? What about your like anxious deep breaths every
- 2:55time he's coming to a stop, as if he's never driven. Whoa baby
- 3:00handle? When I grab that, it's like he's like a serious, like
- 3:02opinion not you would think my wife thinks that I just every day get into
- 3:07an accident the way she treats my driving. Yeah, anytime you're come into
- 3:10a red light, you know, and I get sometimes you got to like
- 3:13hit the brakes a little harder than others. But if she won't say anything.
- 3:16But it's just so subtle, little like gasps that just stressed me out.
- 3:21He just he feels this exact same pain drive or the worst is I
- 3:27am like antsy when he's driving. I feel like I'm paying more attention probably
- 3:30than when I'm driving. So the light will turn green, I'm like,
- 3:34it's green. He's like, I'm it just turned green. I'm like,
- 3:38it's funny. How much? Then about fifteen seconds, Oh yeah, oh
- 3:43my god, it's green. It's green. It's funny how involved you are
- 3:46with when it's in town. But then when it's a long road trip there
- 3:49you are passed out when we could really use you to actually just keep his
- 3:52company. Now you're zombed. There's a lot of personal attach must be nice
- 3:57not to mention a little car compatibility issue my life and I have. She
- 4:00has a very different idea of how clean a car should be, so we've
- 4:04really struggled with that, with our we have the we have the timely vehicle.
- 4:09Well, you know, I just don't mind, Like it doesn't stress
- 4:11me out if there's some things in the vehicle, Like she's like, what
- 4:14do you mean things? Well, because you have been on record for years
- 4:18that you basically live in your vehicle, and that would stress me out a
- 4:23little less now than before. But there were definitely some times drives, Yeah,
- 4:26living out of my vehicle. But yeah, like being in a band,
- 4:29djaying weddings, like there's a lot of equipment. And then with that
- 4:31you just kind of get care free when it comes to other stuff like subway
- 4:35wrappers, no Jimmy John's ew and the smell all of it smell's kind of
- 4:41nice. Wouldn't you agree that those places smell kind of nice? Imagine if
- 4:45your own vehicle smelled like that every time you got into it. No subway
- 4:48gross? Are you kidding me? I love subway, but the smell of
- 4:51it? No, thank you. You're the only one saying, man,
- 4:56I'm sorry. So let me guess you prefer new car smell. Take that
- 5:00any day? More of a vanilla thoughike it? Amanda in the morning,
- 5:02Big ninety eight point seven now Amanda fills the sea. Let's see. Well,
- 5:09we have some breaking news. Cassie has released her first statement after the
- 5:14video was released. It was a week ago Tomorrow of P Diddy basically chasing
- 5:17her and assaulting her for the world to see, kicking our multiple times.
- 5:21Just horrific stuff here, brutal. Now we found out that the reason P
- 5:26Diddy did not say her name and apologize in the video on Sunday that he
- 5:30released is because they have a really strict NDA where they can't say each other's
- 5:33name. So she just jumped on social media and said thank you for all
- 5:36the love and support from my family, friend, strangers, and those I
- 5:40have yet to meet. That port of love has created a place for my
- 5:43younger self to settle and feel safe now. But this is only the beginning.
- 5:46Domestic violence is the issue. It broke me down to someone I never
- 5:50thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I'm better today,
- 5:54but I will always be recovering from my past. Thank you to everyone
- 5:58that has taken the time to make this matter or take this matter seriously.
- 6:01My only ask is that everyone open your heart to believing victims the first time.
- 6:06It takes a lot of heart to tell the truth out of a situation
- 6:10that you were powerless in. I offer my hand to those that are still
- 6:13living in fear. Reach out to your people, don't cut them off.
- 6:16No one should carry this weight alone. This healing journey is never ending.
- 6:19But this support means everything to me. Love always. Cassie wow Well said
- 6:24powerful stuff, but just sad what you went through. For sure. Absolutely,
- 6:30Jennifer Lopez just kind of bad timing. We know that there's something going
- 6:32on with her and Ben Affleck. They're both wearing their wedding rings. There's
- 6:35a lot of people trying to start rumors that maybe there's something something going on
- 6:39with Jennifer Gardner just because Jennifer Gardner has been going to his rented house.
- 6:44I do not think so either. They have a daughter who's graduating right now,
- 6:47so I'm sure they're going through typical graduation and college stuff and co parenting.
- 6:55But Jennifer Lopez is making the media rounds because she has a new movie
- 6:58coming out called atlass So Yeah, yesterday, she was in Mexico City on
- 7:00a panel and somebody asked, birth been afflick is real? These r I
- 7:15love that the guy's like, what is he doing, where is he at,
- 7:18what is he doing? It's just so funny, is true? What's
- 7:21going on with these rumors? And she kind of smiled but kind of gave
- 7:26him the come on now, like, don't even go there. Well she
- 7:28before she responded with the she looked at him in the eyes and just like
- 7:32you killed him with her eyes. So I don't think that gentleman will be
- 7:36asking that question again. She's a little scary. I think she can beat
- 7:40me up. She does have this very especially if you've watched the movie enough.
- 7:44She's got this like b a about her. Absolutely, so who knows,
- 7:48but hopefully they figure it out. I would love for her to just
- 7:51be open and candidate about it. Yeah, we're going through a hard time,
- 7:54but we're married and we love each other. Like say something, Well,
- 7:57that's a lot to ask me. Would you would you come on here
- 8:01and be like, you know, guys, I don't know. It's not
- 8:03going well. I mean if if every time I hit refreshing people are like
- 8:07Nick Linder living in a new home in North Fargo, checked into the hotel
- 8:13Donaldson, Oh, then my mama would be there. You'd be alleging,
- 8:22you'd be willing to look past your issues for a night at the hotel.
- 8:26Donaldson, I really, I'm just that's all happening, all right. Jelly
- 8:35Roll admits that he does a little frivolous thing. You know, when you
- 8:37get money, you always wonder. We always kind of talk about, like,
- 8:41hey, if I won the lottery, what's something ridiculous you would do
- 8:43every day? Because you have this obscene amount of money. He said,
- 8:46he only wears socks once one and done. That's the dream, that's it,
- 8:50That's the American dream. The reason I brought it up is this has
- 8:54always been your thing every day. I know that it would be amazing just
- 8:56to every morning open the package, heal them apart, and you put them
- 9:01on. It's like you just feel better, you feel healthier, you feel
- 9:03more athletic. It's like you're walking on a cloud. Yeah, you disagree,
- 9:07you don't like something. I mean, I like them, but it
- 9:09does like a I like a thick, cozy pair of socks. It's true,
- 9:13some of those thin I just remember growing up. I don't even know
- 9:16if they make them anymore. I think a lot of people probably wore the
- 9:18similar like Haynes socks that you just get a Walmart. Yes, they were
- 9:22so thin, always getting a pair of or like I set off Amazon and
- 9:26they're like almost see through, and they're so it's like I'm not wearing a
- 9:31sock, but I'm just like one step away from a hole. That's probably
- 9:33why they were so cheap. That's I don't even know. I don't even
- 9:41know a lot of really gross, imature things I could say, but we're
- 9:43not going to do it because this program is mature. I get a man
- 9:46in the morning. Seven. You know, if you're a West Fargo student
- 9:50today, you are skipping out of the house because it is your last day
- 9:56of school. That feeling of the last day of school just so good,
- 10:00oh my, especially if you're graduating in just the world. I mean,
- 10:03just knowing you're going into college, your last summer just hanging with your friends
- 10:07so fun. It is fun, and so it's so fun that Amanda thought
- 10:11it would be cool to dust off her yearbook from her high school graduation.
- 10:15Now, biggest mistake of my life in my hands here I have the two
- 10:18thousand and two, two thousand and three yearbook from Wadina Deer Creek High School
- 10:22in Minnesota. Amanda, it just I mean, what a blast from the
- 10:28past. This must be for you to read all these wonderful messages from your
- 10:31classmates. You know, it's interesting for me too because I've known you a
- 10:33long time, but I didn't know you in high school, right. Yeah.
- 10:37So when I opened up the autograph section in huge letters, somebody who
- 10:43did not leave their name wrote you have some huge boobs, and I just
- 10:52thought, well, that's okay. I mean you're more than that, of
- 10:56course, so I read on thought, surely somebody that's something nice to say
- 11:01other than that, And I don't know that there were Amanda. You know
- 11:07your boobs are huge? Yes, I'm serious. What a thing to say
- 11:11is just unbelievable. Whatever clown wrote this, And I'm looking I believe in
- 11:16Ivan. Yeah, I'm looking at you. Ivan. I mean this is
- 11:18your parting words for your classmate going you remember? And then I turned the
- 11:24page here and you know your bleeps are monstrous. I mean what I just
- 11:33am has in the equivalent of like a male if this was like what my
- 11:37yearbook and it didn't dress me, but I mean, what, wow,
- 11:39how do you feel about that? I honestly am in shock that this is
- 11:43what is being said about me in my yearbook. I had I hadn't dusted
- 11:48this bad boy off in sometimes. I mean, I think it's complimentary at
- 11:50least, right you've I mean, I don't know, is it. I
- 11:54just people were addressing me in high school high school boy specifically some of the
- 11:58most immature creatures. Correct, and you can read that. I'm sure these
- 12:03boys have all gone on to become men and have wives and daughters and are
- 12:07just you know, great guy tolled by their actions in your book. But
- 12:11I did find Amanda's photo, which a lovely senior photo classic early two thousands.
- 12:15You got the you literally look like a Britney Spears album cover. So
- 12:18good stuff there, and thank you so much. Do you remember your senior
- 12:22quote? Very inspirational. It said there are two kinds of people in the
- 12:26world, those who walk into a room and say, there you are,
- 12:31and those who say, here I am. I look at this and it's
- 12:35got a little your your baby pictures you and a dance outfit, very a
- 12:39durable Yeah, heck of a minute, little mini mouse mullet picture. Yeah,
- 12:43man, what a time two thousand and two, two thousand and three,
- 12:45wanting to Deer Creek. In fact, it was very nice of them
- 12:48include the cost of things. In two thousand and two three did your your
- 12:52book do that? I don't remember that. We had like a whole section
- 12:54of like what was big, what was new? All that. It's crazy
- 12:58to think that the Pioneer Journal only cost you one single dollar to pick up?
- 13:03Oh the old PJ. The latest edition of Pioneered Journal. Now what
- 13:07is the cost now? Do we know? Or is you know? I'm
- 13:09not sure? Probably an online subscription. Uh, Eclipse Power ice sugarless gum
- 13:16only sets you back a dollar five? Is it was that big back?
- 13:22Eclipse gum is still a thing, is it? I just feel like gum
- 13:24in general really hit a peek in the mid two thousands. Everybody had gum.
- 13:30My kids are now just starting to get into gum, and they think
- 13:33bubble tape is like, you're starting to get into gum. They are,
- 13:35yeah, because they're what five and three and they just think gum is so
- 13:39cool. It is interesting? What is it? You know what? It's
- 13:41disgusting. It's just sugar chewing sugar, okay? And what this cost?
- 13:46In two thousand and three, the Sesame Street Chicken Dance, Elmo, what
- 13:52Ranio? What is that fifteen dollars and twenty nine cents. Is that just
- 13:54like something like a Tickle Me Elmo? Must have been box of clean dollar
- 14:01ninety five. I was not on the yearbook committee, so I'm not I'm
- 14:03not sure. Usually like this is the most telling. Do we get the
- 14:07stamp on there? How much was a stamp? Oh? Yeah, that's
- 14:11that's a postage stamp? Thirty seven cents? What are they now? Fifty?
- 14:15No stamps? Right now I want to say like a dollar? No,
- 14:18come on, yes, you can get like a forever stamp. I
- 14:20want to say for seventy five cents. Interesting new release of a movie rental
- 14:24was only three bucks? Not really relevant to at this point. It's so
- 14:30interesting to see you just had They had no idea when they were writing this
- 14:33out what twenty twenty four would be like. But here we are a two
- 14:37thousand and three Jaguar convertible. I guess that was a hot hot rod back
- 14:41then. Eighty six thousand. I mean, that's like pretty comparable to maybe
- 14:46what it would be now. I don't know. I feel like a Jaguar
- 14:48or something that's probably going to be like one eighty six these not a car
- 14:52guy. One thing that was film on there because we were still taking pictures
- 14:58and getting film developed in perum at one hour photo. Oh yeah, Kodak
- 15:03four hundred speed film, the speed film A dollar thirty nine for a role
- 15:07of that baby. No, it's not bad at all. They could get
- 15:09it done for you in an hour or less. Oh man, then you'd
- 15:13get the doubles so you could pass them out to your friends. No good.
- 15:16Remember that whole section of a Walmart? Yes, and you know they
- 15:18had that section, and they had the section you could take family photos.
- 15:22Oh I don't remember that. Oh yeah, you never got your family photos
- 15:26taking a Walmart. Uh huh. Well it shows, honey, it shows
- 15:30trending new Excre's what you need to know. Oh, they were so close,
- 15:35but they couldn't get it done. Dee Wolves lost last night to the
- 15:37Mavericks one o eight to one oh five. Game two is going to be
- 15:41Friday night at the Target Center, seven thirty. Then they had to Dallas
- 15:45for Game three on Sunday. They played so well until you know, just
- 15:48the end. And basketball is a frustrating game, you know, because I'm
- 15:50generally not a big basketball guy, but times like this I am all in
- 15:54and It's just such such a game of streaks. And the Wolves were playing
- 15:58so well the whole game, but then right at they just started, they
- 16:00just turned into a JV squad. It was putetic unbelievable. How when the
- 16:04baskets you're not making them, Like when the ball doesn't go in the basket
- 16:08and you're justying, you're not even getting the chance to shoot the ball because
- 16:12you're throwing. You're throwing the ball just out of bounds. You're just turning
- 16:15it over. Just hear it. We don't want to we don't want to
- 16:18take a turn. You guys have it. So that was frustrating, you
- 16:21know, not to mention because we're hurrying to finish up league night at Rose
- 16:23Creek and I had just finished up a very rather convincing victory, and I
- 16:30thought, you finally one league night, let's a second needed it in the
- 16:37worst way, And so I thought, all right, I did my part,
- 16:40te Wolves your turn, and they just couldn't come back. And to
- 16:42confirm you did not bet on the t Wolves last night, No, I
- 16:45did not. Okay, just making sure that that wasn't an ongoing problem we
- 16:49would be having. The mood would be a little worse if that was the
- 16:52case. All right. Speaking of basketball, Kaitlyn Clark has signed another big
- 16:56endorsement deal. She is a multi year partnership with Wilson. They're going to
- 17:00do a signature basketball collection. The only other person or athlete to do this
- 17:04is Michael Jordan. That's good out of you. A lot of kids will
- 17:07be getting those Wilsons for Christmas. I'm sure probably, Yeah, Wilson.
- 17:11Did they pay for that advertising in that movie Castaway with Tom Hanks? Yeah?
- 17:17I wonder if they did it not. Probably not. They just they
- 17:21just handed it to them. Probably, And that's like some Yeah. I
- 17:23mean, that's a product placement at its finest. Absolutely all right. Several
- 17:27gas stations across the country, including in the FM area, are going to
- 17:30be lowering prices at the pump today for a charitable cause. Now Holiday and
- 17:34Circle K locations will reduce their prices going into Memorial Day weekend by forty cents
- 17:41a gallon, that is today between four and seven. This is what's really
- 17:45cool. Ten percent of the money used to purchase will be used to donate
- 17:48to the children a Fallen Patriots Foundation. What a great cost and if you
- 17:52can save some money on some gas. Heck, yeah, forty cents a
- 17:55gallon? Yeah, need it? They're still high. I don't pay much
- 17:59attention to gas price says, but I do notice that they're still pretty high.
- 18:02Whenever you fill up your tank and it's over a hondo, You're like,
- 18:03okay, we've got are the caveat being that Amanda drives a school bus.
- 18:10My niece on ultimate doesn't quite sniff the triple digits. I'm thinking,
- 18:15if it's like sixty dollars good knowing? Yeah, how many gallons is it?
- 18:21I have no idea. What do you get from mileage on that?
- 18:22I have no idea. I trust. I just know that our family is
- 18:26comfortable in this. Uh well, I mean you have two kids, which
- 18:29is the most kids anybody's ever had, so and a dog that's right,
- 18:32and a lot of things ros to so well, just wait till they have
- 18:37friends and I'm traveling with them and doing It's just it's nice to have a
- 18:41space. You'll never regret having the space. That's what I say. She
- 18:47had one kid, she got prag well, howney, we need the biggest
- 18:48vehicles they've ever made. I would have kept the jeep. Nick said it
- 18:52wasn't going to be safe for the kids. I was ready for keep it.
- 18:55I was ready to keep the white jeep wrangler, and he just said,
- 18:59Nope, you gotta get yourself a mom car. What better vehicle for
- 19:02wrangling kids? Real luxury? All right, rain today high a seventy three
- 19:07kind of copy and paste at for the next couple of days. Hopefully by
- 19:10Saturday we'll get some sunshine. You turn it out in a minute in the
- 19:15morning. On Big Nutty eight point seven, Amanda and I were talking about
- 19:18our senior years, graduating, that's the whole thing, and how excited you
- 19:22were that whole year of where you're going out to college, maybe you're going
- 19:25out to work somewhere, maybe you're joining the military, whatever it was you
- 19:27were doing. It was just so exciting. Your whole life was ahead of
- 19:30you. But meanwhile, Amanda, you don't really pay as much attention than
- 19:33to what's going on in the world around you, right right, I mean,
- 19:37your senior in high school, you've got bigger issues. You got you
- 19:40know, girls, boys, wrestling, and so we want to do reminisce
- 19:45on the biggest events of the year we graduated. So if you want to
- 19:47weigh in what was the biggest thing that went down your senior year? So
- 19:51according to my yearbook, because I do have it in hand, Wooding A
- 19:53Dear Creature, Class of two thousand and three, the national tragedy was the
- 19:57Space Shuttle Columbia launching a tr mission two thousand and three. I remember that.
- 20:02I remember all seven the summer. I remember like sitting at home watching
- 20:04that crazy sad flip phones had just become a thing just because they didn't flip.
- 20:12And now now we're back to not flipping. Some pop culture for you.
- 20:17American Idol, so Kelly Clarkson won in two thousand and two into two
- 20:18thousand and three, and then right after it was Ruben Stuttered. Isn't that
- 20:22wild biggest? What a sort of a quiet year if we have Ruben Stuttered
- 20:26winning American Idol. I remember it like I remember, yeah, because obviously
- 20:33the first year like hooked everybody. So coming back with the second season,
- 20:37like we were all like we were there for it. You know. I
- 20:40actually just thought there was a girl who just won American Idol this week,
- 20:44and it's just like it doesn't even phase me anymore, not at all.
- 20:47But that year it was down to Ruben and Clay aching right, Yeah,
- 20:49is Ruben? Did he pass away? No? Not him and Clay actually
- 20:53still kind of do like reunion tours. I feel like they might have been
- 20:56at the Fargo Theater recently. Interesting. Just got a text message here from
- 21:00somebody. They graduated in nineteen ninety nine, and you know, everybody thought
- 21:04the world, the world was ending coming to an end. Kind of wish
- 21:07it would. Oppie Downer Pike, what year did you graduate? All the
- 21:12way back into your two thousand and nine Amanda, two thousand and nine and
- 21:15some way, what a year? I mean, you remember this the infamous
- 21:18car accident that led to Tiger Woods downfall. Yeah, getting attacked with golf
- 21:23clubs in his own driveway in Florida. That was crazy. In a couple
- 21:26of airplane related incidents, and I totally forgot about both of these. But
- 21:30in two thousand and nine, you know, we talked all about the Malaysian
- 21:33airline that went missing, but apparently Air France flight had gone missing too,
- 21:37same scenario, like they literally don't know what happened. They assumed it crashed
- 21:41into the Atlantic Ocean. And then on the other side, there were no
- 21:45survivors in that but everybody survived on a US Airways plane that had to do
- 21:52a crash landing in the Hudson River. Thanks, So that's right US.
- 21:56So you made a movie about it apt in Sully. I have to sully
- 22:00about one hundred and fifty five people on board. Can you imagine that flight?
- 22:03Oh man, Michael Jackson died in two thousand and nine, I remember
- 22:07this. This is so two thousand and I would have been my first year,
- 22:10I think in radio. Oh yeah, yeah, what a story to
- 22:12cover. Just uh, she had some hard hitting coverage. Yeah. And
- 22:15then of course I totally had forgot this. But in Colorado there was a
- 22:21frantic search balloon Boy for a six year old boy named Falcon who was believed
- 22:26to be in a hot air balloon. I remember, I was going,
- 22:30well, the search ended at his house where they found him. It was
- 22:37a whole it was a completely fake hoax. Whatever happened to this whole family
- 22:40because they were all in on it, right, yes, because they were
- 22:42interviewing on TV, like his older brother. Yeah, I don't know,
- 22:45I think he's up there, he's in the balloon. I remember, because
- 22:48gosh, these goofy radio people were like trying to figure out how we could
- 22:52get people up in the air to look for me. Yeah, and also
- 22:56to do like stunts around it because it was so ridiculous. Yeah, I
- 23:00remember the panic mode. Everybody thinks you imagine of all the ways to lose
- 23:03your child, haven't have just floated into the outer space Like what Yeah,
- 23:07that's one of my weird, like irrational fears. I'll never get in a
- 23:11hot air balloon, probably because of that. The benefit is not there.
- 23:15I don't know how I'm gonna die, but I do know it's not going
- 23:18to be in a hot air balloon. I'm going to rule that out.
- 23:19Get an in the morning on big You know, there's a lot of bad
- 23:26things that can happen to you. We've all had bad things happen to us
- 23:27in our life. But I would say we can all agree nothing is worse
- 23:33than moving. I mean there's a few things, name one bad thing,
- 23:37losing a loved one that's worse than moving. It's up there. Moving is
- 23:41Yeah, it's a well, there was a survey down and it's so bad
- 23:45moving that a quarter twenty five percent of Americans thing moving is more stressful than
- 23:52landing an airplane. Now I'm out of those people who's landed an airplane,
- 23:59probably not many. It would be stressful, you know what I mean,
- 24:00Like, gosh, with all those passengers aboard and you have to probably there's
- 24:04got to be a certain point where it's like, if I'm not down at
- 24:07this level, we're toast. I wonder if for pilots it's got to be
- 24:11you know how it is for you and your job, like the thing you've
- 24:14done a million times, you can do it in your sleep, you know,
- 24:17like turn in these microphones on, you know, But for pilots,
- 24:19is it like is it that stress free at this point for them if they've
- 24:22done it a bunch of times or is or do they really have to like
- 24:25focus every single time, just like kind of shaking in their boots. You
- 24:29think at any point you've been on a plane where the pilot is texting while
- 24:33landing the plane, do you think that's happened? I don't think, like,
- 24:37honey, I'm like, how we're not supposed to be but we're texting
- 24:41like honey, I'm landing. Oh you're one of those animals at text before
- 24:44the plane even lands. Oh as soon as you're low enough that you can
- 24:48sent Oh my gosh, airplane mode. Yeah right. You didn't happen to
- 24:51be on a Malaysian Airlines flight in the mid twenty tens, did you.
- 24:55Now, So people think moving is more stressful than landing a plane. They
- 24:57even say it's more reressful then losing a job. Oh, come on,
- 25:03switching careers. I guess it depends on where you're moving. Like you moved
- 25:07across the country a year ago, that I could see being very stressful.
- 25:11Yeah. Two, So I moved in twenty twenty, drove across the country
- 25:14with our stuff, and then I had to fly back here to Florida to
- 25:18fifteen hundred miles twenty six hours, ends up being more like thirty horrible,
- 25:22and then moving back here. I think we've documented it well a year ago
- 25:26when I was coming back here twenty six foot U haul, which somehow they
- 25:29just let any old schmuck drive with the Nissan Ultimate. Yeah that's about Oh,
- 25:33and you need to get your vehicle, go ahead, just hitch it
- 25:34to the back of the semi truck you're driving. That's just dangerous. Good
- 25:37luck. Now that I could see us stressful moving from like forty fifth Street
- 25:41in thirty second Avenue to you know veterans in fifty second Avenue not going to
- 25:47probably be the most stressful. Yeah, you have to pack, but there's
- 25:49also something about like purging and getting excited about it in a new home.
- 25:52The new chapter. Moving out for sure sucks, but yeah, it's the
- 25:56excitement of moving into a new place. Usually. Yeah, are you the
- 25:59one to ask people to help you move? Or you just no, no,
- 26:02because I don't want to return the favor. It's a moving company.
- 26:04Oh, nobody's asking you to help them move, even if I asked them.
- 26:10It was like the glass my husband exactly. I mean, ladies,
- 26:12let's just call it what it is. You got I mean, listen,
- 26:15you got it good. Nobody's asking you to help move a couch. Have
- 26:21you been asked to what? Be honest? I'm sure I'm not saying.
- 26:25I'm not saying ladies are not capable. Oh I'm pretty sure you did.
- 26:29I'm not saying that. I'm just saying people wouldn't ask. They don't want
- 26:30to bother you with that sort of stuff because they know you're busy doing other
- 26:33important cooking and painting our nails, getting a pedicure and manage. Did I
- 26:41mention I'm the kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs. I'm kidding. Oh my
- 26:45gosh, I shot at Harrison. Well, he's an idiot if anyone deserves
- 26:51Now we're we were talking about movie. Now you're getting political. That is
- 26:53just as painful. Oh okay, I man, fine. Next time I
- 26:56need a couch moved and we're on the third floor and of an apartment and
- 27:00it doesn't fit in the elevator. So I'm gonna go pop you up with
- 27:03these pipes. I'll get that other side. I'll get that other side,
- 27:07Jarrett right in pivot, puvot, we'll be pivot in friend style to the
- 27:11left. Didn't go down the elevator how many times? You know? One
- 27:15time I had to My mom was moving out of her apartment. Same thing,
- 27:18third floor balcony. It's one of those times where just throw it over
- 27:21the balcony. I don't know, I don't know what they did, but
- 27:23I know for a fact that this couch didn't come in through this door because
- 27:26there's no way it's getting out right, Like, you've tried every possible angle.
- 27:30So we had to get it literally lowered it from the balcony. Oh
- 27:33really, I was kidding, No swear to God, like use a police
- 27:37system that I had created somehow, and shockingly nobody died. Interesting, yeah,
- 27:42horrible, pikeet a minute in the morning. Come on, get up
- 27:45on Big seven. You want to spect to sing when you hear that telephone
- 27:52room by friend, this lesson by wrested by flick. Well, it is
- 28:04graduation season and this guy, this dad, has been planning his kids graduation
- 28:08party for months, very exciting, doing it up, actually hiring some catering.
- 28:12I'm told, Hey, and so Amanda, what if we just hear
- 28:17me out? What if I pretended to be from the catering company. No,
- 28:21that'd be silly. I think it'd be extra silly. Hello. Hi
- 28:27is this Chris? Yeah, Hi Chris, Gary Shackles, event coordinator down
- 28:36here at catering. Just wanted to run through some of the details of your
- 28:40graduation party if you got a second here, Oh yeah, sure, I
- 28:45got a minute. What's up? Okay? Perfect? Perfect? So you
- 28:47know we're still on for this Saturday for approximately one hundred and fifty guests.
- 28:51It looks like is that correct? Yep? Yep, okay, great,
- 28:55great, And now you still wanted to pulled chicken and the looks like baked
- 28:59potato bar. Is that correct? Yes, yep, exactly. Okay,
- 29:03great, and you don't mind if the guys serving the food are prison inmates?
- 29:07Is that correct? What? Oh, you don't know? Nobody,
- 29:14nobody told you about this. I know what. Well, we have a
- 29:18relationship with the Cass County Correctional Facility where we provide inmates with you know,
- 29:22real jobs while they're serving their senses. And since the rest of our staff
- 29:26is booked for this Saturday, you were sending out our jail guys to your
- 29:30party. Is that maybe a problem? No, yeah, it's a problem
- 29:34that. No. I don't want convict serving food. This is this is
- 29:40I understand your hesitation, but if you just at least hear me out on
- 29:42this, I think you're going to find that, you know, they're exactly
- 29:45it. There are actually some benefits to having our inmate crew. I'm sorry,
- 29:49what exactly would the benefit be? Well, for one, you know
- 29:55they're going to show up. No, I'm sorry, I'm no, no,
- 30:00no, no, not okay, it's not cool. You need to
- 30:03buying a crew and it's not a bunch of freaking felons or like I'm going
- 30:10to cancel this, Okay, well, Chris, Now, they're not all
- 30:12felons. They're not. Why they in jail, Well, you know,
- 30:15some of them are in for things like unpaid parking tickets, you know,
- 30:18super chill stuff like that, but some of them aren't definitely felons. Yes,
- 30:23park No, what kind of crimes did these felons commit? No,
- 30:29Ah, little of this and that, you know, all money laundering,
- 30:32racketeering, conspiracy to commit, murdering household stuff. Really no? Hell,
- 30:37hell no man, no, no, there's no no way. This is
- 30:41freaking unbelievable. Look, you're the streams. Tell me, we've been playing
- 30:47this for months, and do you expect an absolutely pathetic reviewer come in your
- 30:51way? Dude, if you think you're gonna send felons to my kids party,
- 30:56what the hell? What if we had the guys wear chef hats?
- 30:59Does that do anything for? Like big white chef hats. No, I
- 31:03don't care what they're wearing, their convict I'm glad you said that, because
- 31:07they will be, of course, in fact, wearing their standard issue orange
- 31:11jumpsuits. But it sounds like that won't be an issue with you, Okay,
- 31:18Chris, Chris, hang on now before we get too upset. I
- 31:21just got to tell you one thing. There won't be any convicts at your
- 31:23house is Saturday unless you invite them, because this is a this is a
- 31:26prank call. No, well, step away from the phone. The prank
- 31:32call. Your wife reached out to us. We are a local morning radio
- 31:36show, Pike and a Mand in the morning, and this is called Pike's
- 31:38Prank. Oh are you okay? Chris really got him worked up? Geez,
- 31:47I don't know. I was about to go. It's just a goof
- 31:49man, Sorry to get you worked up. Your wife reached down and said
- 31:52she loves these prank calls for you and thought that it would be a perfect
- 31:56time to get you on one with your daughter's graduation already coming up to Saturday.
- 32:00So sorry about that. I'm going to I'm going to kill her.
- 32:04I'm gonna end up in jail. Now, that's all right. That was
- 32:07pretty good. Sounds like you got a sweet gig waiting for you have to
- 32:12prison though, if you do end up there apparently a minute in the morning,
- 32:19Big Naty eight point seven. You know you might not have a perfect
- 32:22relationship. You might fight here and there, but at the very least your
- 32:27partner isn't going online and writing long posts complaining about you for the whole world
- 32:31to read. That would be wild, so that I would say that would
- 32:35be problem one with the couple I'm about to tell you about, because this
- 32:37woman's gone viral for a post she shared about her quote disgusting husband. I
- 32:43imagine I'm just picturing myself logging into the Internet for the day seeing a viral
- 32:49post about a disgusting husband. This woman just seems to be at her wits
- 32:52end with her gross husband in his habits, specifically when it comes to the
- 32:57pooh okay, because she said, you know, they've got kids, and
- 33:00she's busy getting all the kids stuff ready at night, getting ready for the
- 33:04next day, cleaning up, and she walks into the bedroom where there's a
- 33:07connected bathroom picture happens a primary bedroom and she can't even take her contacts out
- 33:15because it's so smelly. And she said, this is a constant thing,
- 33:17and she knows just by the smell of it, what the toilet bowl is
- 33:22going to look like. E Oh, this guy's leaving marks like a NASCAR
- 33:28vehicle. Disgusting. Yeah, I know, I know, but you know,
- 33:30you can't be bothered to clean it up, which I get is not
- 33:34easy, but that it's so gross. But it's so gross that you should
- 33:37never even tell anybody about it. Well, she obviously didn't for years,
- 33:42but she's finally to the point where she just wants a solution, and so
- 33:46people are saying literally the suggestions range from you need to take the kids and
- 33:51get to a hotel and think about it. Yeah, to just this man
- 33:57take his children. Yeah, yeah, you need to get out of their
- 33:59honey. But you know, it's not just that. She also complains about
- 34:02him banging around the room at night while she's trying to get her night,
- 34:06like he'll know that she has a big day at work or something. And
- 34:08listen, I get it. It's hard to like dig around the room when
- 34:12it's dark. No, I get it. You know, we get up
- 34:14real early, my wife's still sleeping, and so if I like, because
- 34:16I always have to lay my clothes out, like in the bathroom, so
- 34:19I don't have to constantly be in and out digging around for socks, sniffing
- 34:22around underwear to find which one smells the most optimal. Ill ill ill.
- 34:28Yeah, I know it's not ideal. I don't know what she should do
- 34:30I kind of feel like, if he is banging around doing that stuff,
- 34:32and he's leaving the skid marks in the toilet and he's doing all this,
- 34:36do you think he's trying to push her away? I think, I mean,
- 34:40that'd be a real subtle way to do it for this lady. I
- 34:44think it's over. I think you definitely get to a hotel. You maybe
- 34:46even call the police, get out of here.
