Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Ah, it's kiss, Little John and Pitbull. I love my AMMI.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Good morning for you, asks in a moment here at kiss,
- 0:07Speaker 1: thanks for having us on. Got a second date update
- 0:09Speaker 1: on the way as well. Now Tanya's over here talking
- 0:13Speaker 1: about this. When you're happy, can you still be creative? Yes?
- 0:16Speaker 2: So Grazie Abrams is opening up about how falling in
- 0:19Speaker 2: love with her boyfriend Paul Meskal almost made her feel
- 0:23Speaker 2: like she was losing her identity as an artist. So
- 0:27Speaker 2: she did an interview and she said something I think
- 0:29Speaker 2: a lot of creative people can relate to. She said,
- 0:31Speaker 2: I was worried feeling secure and stable was threatening my
- 0:34Speaker 2: drive to write music. It freaked me out. She spent
- 0:38Speaker 2: most of her career writing songs about feeling insecure in relationships.
- 0:42Speaker 2: She would put all of her feelings into her music
- 0:45Speaker 2: rather than telling her partner directly. But with Paul, she
- 0:48Speaker 2: actually communicates. She talks it out, And for a songwriter,
- 0:51Speaker 2: that's terrifying, because if you process your feelings in real life,
- 0:56Speaker 2: what do you have left to write about? So that's
- 0:59Speaker 2: the kind The question I wanted to throw at you
- 1:02Speaker 2: is have you ever felt like being happy or comfortable
- 1:04Speaker 2: actually made you less motivated in some way, like you
- 1:07Speaker 2: needed the chaos to push you.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Ah yeah, tistany I think we all have for sure, yes, backroom, Okay,
- 1:17Speaker 1: this is such a big thing. I feel like losing
- 1:19Speaker 1: yourself in a relationship as like someone who is creative
- 1:22Speaker 1: and like loves that stuff. It's so easy, Like I
- 1:25Speaker 1: definitely have. But then what do you what do you
- 1:27Speaker 1: want more happiness or creativity? Like do you have to pick? Well?
- 1:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I think what Gracie was saying is she was
- 1:34Speaker 2: like thinking back to her older self and kind of
- 1:36Speaker 2: writing from like that POV you know what I mean.
- 1:39Speaker 2: So she was still tapping into that thing. And I
- 1:40Speaker 2: feel like what happened with Taylor Swift as she started
- 1:43Speaker 2: also telling stories from like these fictional characters Dorothea's of
- 1:47Speaker 2: the World and YadA, YadA, YadA. So people kind of
- 1:50Speaker 2: just like tap into these like storytelling type things. But
- 1:54Speaker 2: I do think there's something very real about like when
- 1:57Speaker 2: your life is in chaos, you use your creat activity
- 2:00Speaker 2: as like an outlet, and when your life isn't in
- 2:02Speaker 2: that chaos chaotic state, you don't need to process it.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Really, yeah, exactly, like if Sisney and you and I
- 2:08Speaker 1: were happy and in a non chaotic state, the show
- 2:10Speaker 1: would sound like this. I'm confused. Oh gosh, that's what
- 2:19Speaker 1: the show would sound like, right, be nothing to talk about.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Yeah, we need the chaos.
- 2:26Speaker 1: We have to have it controlled, chaos controlled, happy, but
- 2:29Speaker 1: then sometimes not chaos what we need otherwise that I
- 2:35Speaker 1: don't look at me. I love the chaos exactly like
- 2:39Speaker 1: you create it for you and you really do. You
- 2:41Speaker 1: create it and then solve it like you know you're
- 2:43Speaker 1: going to get to the solution, but you want to
- 2:45Speaker 1: end the conclusion, but you want to turn it up
- 2:47Speaker 1: a turn upside, download it. Everyone's gears like hit that
- 2:51Speaker 1: that smoothie maker on high for a minute. Coming up
- 2:54Speaker 1: next for you gas
