- 2:16Speaker 1: the bootleg cav podcast, man, episode of shit. I don't
- 2:19Speaker 1: even know what number we're on right now. It's a
- 2:21Speaker 1: lot going on. With that being said, we got my
- 2:24Speaker 1: bro bro Chevy Woods. Taylor Gang is in the building
- 2:27Speaker 1: for sure all the time. Welcome man. You know, we
- 2:32Speaker 1: did like a little zoom interview. It was even before
- 2:36Speaker 1: your album came out. What was it like, in the
- 2:39Speaker 1: middle of the quarantine, which we're still in the middle
- 2:41Speaker 1: of it. It It was in the middle, it was it
- 2:43Speaker 1: was before the album. No, it was before before the album. Yeah, No,
- 2:47Speaker 1: it was before the album came out. Well, since Birth
- 2:49Speaker 1: is out, how has life been for you, man? Since
- 2:54Speaker 1: all the shit has been kind of like collapsing around
- 2:57Speaker 1: us in Los Angeles, because I know you've been out
- 2:58Speaker 1: here pretty much the whole time. Yeah, I mean I
- 3:01Speaker 1: never thought that it would be like this, you know
- 3:03Speaker 1: what I mean, Like especially dropping music and shit, putting
- 3:07Speaker 1: the album out in the pandemic shit like this, not
- 3:09Speaker 1: being able to move around, yeah, like tour and like
- 3:13Speaker 1: even even like this, you know what I'm saying. Like
- 3:16Speaker 1: at least it opened up a little bit for us
- 3:18Speaker 1: to be able to do that or something like that. Hey, honestly,
- 3:20Speaker 1: that's why you know, we've been talking about me doing
- 3:23Speaker 1: this podcast for so long, and like they shut the
- 3:25Speaker 1: radio station down so we can have guests there probably
- 3:28Speaker 1: till next year. And I'm like, Yo, this zoom shit
- 3:32Speaker 1: in this Instagram live shit is like kind of whack. Yeah,
- 3:35Speaker 1: I mean, it's not no to me. Honestly, there's not
- 3:37Speaker 1: no feel there. Yeah, and it's like everybody like you
- 3:41Speaker 1: know what like I mean, And it's good for artists
- 3:44Speaker 1: because you know, like these radio promo runs are draining.
- 3:48Speaker 1: If you're a rapper, right and you got to go
- 3:50Speaker 1: and bounce around all these corny ass radio DJs in
- 3:53Speaker 1: every fucking market, it can be a lot. Now you
- 3:55Speaker 1: can just be like, all right, let's do a zoom
- 3:57Speaker 1: just straight up, you know what I mean. But if
- 3:58Speaker 1: it's somebody like me, I feel like putting out my
- 4:01Speaker 1: first album after all this time, I feel like I
- 4:03Speaker 1: want to I would want to know you want to go,
- 4:06Speaker 1: you want to do that? It probably wouldn't. It's crazy
- 4:08Speaker 1: to think that this is your first album. Yeah, super crazy.
- 4:11Speaker 1: And I always tell people this is seventeen projects before.
- 4:14Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying, Like, what makes this the album
- 4:17Speaker 1: and what what? What about all the mixtapes? I mean, like,
- 4:21Speaker 1: this is your first album. It's so wild to say
- 4:23Speaker 1: that out loud, Like yeah, it throws people off too,
- 4:27Speaker 1: you know what i mean, because it's like they put
- 4:29Speaker 1: they pull up projects and be like this wasn't the album.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I'm like, no, I didn't say that. It was like
- 4:34Speaker 1: it was a mixtape, you know what I mean, Like
- 4:36Speaker 1: I didn't go I didn't go like pause as hard
- 4:40Speaker 1: as as like on a mixtape. I can go in
- 4:43Speaker 1: there and do that shit in a day or two
- 4:44Speaker 1: if I really want to, you know what I mean,
- 4:46Speaker 1: like the whole project right, and then put it out
- 4:48Speaker 1: in a week. But with the album, I feel like
- 4:51Speaker 1: I had the album six times before, and so this
- 4:54Speaker 1: is like the sixth rendition of your first album. Yeah,
- 4:57Speaker 1: and then I just I've been trashing it the whole time.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I'm like, nah, I ain't ready, It ain't ready. Ain't ready. Yeah,
- 5:02Speaker 1: What's like obviously, you know everybody knows you from being
- 5:06Speaker 1: Taylor Gang and and you're kind of like Whizz's right
- 5:09Speaker 1: hand man. I think, like, you know, if you see Wiz,
- 5:14Speaker 1: you know, you see Chevy like it's it's you guys
- 5:17Speaker 1: are you know we talked about this on IG Live.
- 5:20Speaker 1: You're like the Scottie to his Jordan, and like, what
- 5:25Speaker 1: is like do you feel like there's like a lot
- 5:27Speaker 1: of pressure, like being like this is your first album?
- 5:32Speaker 1: I know that like a lot of people have been
- 5:34Speaker 1: waiting for your shit for a long time, bro, and
- 5:36Speaker 1: like it's almost like we haven't. I mean, you dropped
- 5:41Speaker 1: last year, right, didn't drop a mixtape last year? Was
- 5:43Speaker 1: that twenty eighteen? Yeah? No, I dropped a project last
- 5:46Speaker 1: year too. Yeah, You're like it's crazy though, like do
- 5:49Speaker 1: you feel any sort of pressure like being as like
- 5:52Speaker 1: we've been seeing you and you've been putting out so
- 5:56Speaker 1: much content, but this is like like I feel like
- 5:57Speaker 1: that debut album energy is so different than everything else
- 6:01Speaker 1: that anybody could ever do, because it's like you think
- 6:03Speaker 1: of nas and nomadic and doggy styling m h. And
- 6:07Speaker 1: that's where my mind was that anyway, Like of course
- 6:09Speaker 1: it's the baby picture, you know what I'm saying. So
- 6:12Speaker 1: I thought, you know, in my mind thinking of like
- 6:14Speaker 1: classic music and how I used to listen to albums
- 6:18Speaker 1: from start to finish without skipping. That was my whole thing.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Like I'm gonna do the When it's time, I'm gonna
- 6:24Speaker 1: do the baby picture because that's like my classic album. Yeah,
- 6:29Speaker 1: it's like the Nas covered, Ready to Die covered, the
- 6:32Speaker 1: Wheezy cover, you know what I mean? So like all
- 6:35Speaker 1: of those were like inspiration to me having it, but
- 6:38Speaker 1: I and I don't what y'all? Wayne was the Carter three?
- 6:42Speaker 1: Carter three, I think, so yeah, quarter three. And the
- 6:44Speaker 1: pressure thing is, I've been out the door for me,
- 6:47Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like, I ain't gotta I
- 6:48Speaker 1: don't gotta live up to nobody's expectations or nothing like
- 6:52Speaker 1: that anymore. I feel like years ago I probably had
- 6:54Speaker 1: to because Wiz was at so high of a point
- 6:58Speaker 1: that people were looking like, oh, his man, what is
- 7:01Speaker 1: he gonna do next? Blah blah blah blah blah. But
- 7:03Speaker 1: I never lived in that world, you know what I mean.
- 7:05Speaker 1: I just basically just did my own ship, and he
- 7:07Speaker 1: supported the same way regardless. How do you feel like,
- 7:13Speaker 1: because obviously Taylor gang Is has had so many different
- 7:16Speaker 1: incarnations throughout the years. There was like that double XL
- 7:21Speaker 1: cover where it was the Lola Chick and Juicy and
- 7:26Speaker 1: Thie Juicy tye Y, and then it seems like even
- 7:32Speaker 1: Cardo was on that cover. Cardo shout out to Cardo
- 7:35Speaker 1: for being so instrumental in the sound early on Man.
- 7:39Speaker 1: But then like more recently, you know, there's like, you
- 7:44Speaker 1: know the guy uh Skate, there's you know, these younger artists.
- 7:50Speaker 1: What's dude's name? I'm thinking of a dude from fucking Houston?
- 7:57Speaker 1: Is he from? Yeah? For sure? Yeah, Like there's like,
- 8:01Speaker 1: you know, like I just feel like there's been so
- 8:03Speaker 1: many different but you've kind of always been the constant.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Besides obviously with Khalifa. Do you remember like the early
- 8:09Speaker 1: days of like when y'all decided to call the Shit
- 8:12Speaker 1: Tailor Gang, Like, Like what were like those early days,
- 8:15Speaker 1: like you were probably not even Chevy Woods, yet you
- 8:17Speaker 1: were probably kept up. I was, Yeah, definitely kept the hustler,
- 8:20Speaker 1: the hustler. Yeah, it was. It was basically off of
- 8:23Speaker 1: like we didn't I didn't wear Chuck Taylor's and shit,
- 8:26Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, Like I didn't really see
- 8:28Speaker 1: those come about until like outfits, until I met Wiz,
- 8:33Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. He was wearing them with everything,
- 8:35Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, And I'm like, the hell
- 8:38Speaker 1: made this dude wear these shoes, Bro, Like these is
- 8:40Speaker 1: like some of the wacky shoes ever, you know what
- 8:43Speaker 1: I'm saying, especially to go with an outfit and like
- 8:45Speaker 1: be in the streets, because he was in the hood
- 8:47Speaker 1: with us, like you know what I'm saying constantly, like
- 8:49Speaker 1: every day and people would be like, yo, so with
- 8:52Speaker 1: your man, bro, like what he got on, and but
- 8:56Speaker 1: I just kind of like took the time to like
- 8:59Speaker 1: figure out why he moves and why he does the way,
- 9:02Speaker 1: why he thinks this way, you know what I'm saying.
- 9:04Speaker 1: So I think that it definitely comes from the shoe.
- 9:07Speaker 1: And then it was just his own thing. And then
- 9:10Speaker 1: we came around, you know what I'm saying, And then
- 9:12Speaker 1: was like ten of us from like from like my
- 9:14Speaker 1: neighborhood right right, and boom, Taylor gang. Now I guess
- 9:18Speaker 1: now he has something to call it an actual gang
- 9:21Speaker 1: of people, you know what I'm saying. So it came
- 9:23Speaker 1: from the shoe, and it came from the people. Yeah,
- 9:25Speaker 1: the entire Chuck Taylor and camouflage Cargo short thing was
- 9:31Speaker 1: like uniform. Yeah, it was uniform for me for like
- 9:35Speaker 1: probably longer than it. Cargo, Bro. Let me tell you something.
- 9:43Speaker 1: There's something like fire about like somebody making like a
- 9:46Speaker 1: thirty four dollars shoe cool for like poor motherfuckers. Yeah,
- 9:50Speaker 1: I could go get me some fucking Chucks and be
- 9:51Speaker 1: lit for sure. For sure, we used to. I mean
- 9:55Speaker 1: it was a point where we used to just wear
- 9:58Speaker 1: everybody on tour, like when we were on tour, like
- 10:00Speaker 1: you said, that was the It was the the Shark hoodie,
- 10:04Speaker 1: the u TV and then it was like, you know,
- 10:07Speaker 1: either a crew neck that way or the Camo shorts
- 10:09Speaker 1: with the pulled up socks with the Chucks or there
- 10:12Speaker 1: were you got. I remember when wez have like a
- 10:14Speaker 1: real flash cloud Kicker hoodie that he put out that
- 10:17Speaker 1: was shout out the cloud Kicker, Wow, cloud Kicker. That
- 10:22Speaker 1: was like that was like the beginning of like getting
- 10:24Speaker 1: closed from people ship. Yeah, that sh it's crazy, Like, yeah,
- 10:27Speaker 1: we got a box for you. I'm like, what's that mean?
- 10:30Speaker 1: Were closed? That sh it's crazy? What do you miss
- 10:34Speaker 1: because you guys were you guys usually every summer you
- 10:36Speaker 1: guys do your tour right, like was it kind of
- 10:39Speaker 1: was it dope to have have this year off? You
- 10:42Speaker 1: get a break or you missing the road? Yeah? Missing
- 10:44Speaker 1: the road for sure, because the thing about it is
- 10:46Speaker 1: the year before we got back to it, we took
- 10:49Speaker 1: off and that was that was a break between like
- 10:52Speaker 1: six seven years of tour. Yeah, so when we got
- 10:56Speaker 1: back and then now it's cut off again, you know,
- 10:58Speaker 1: like we itching to like be out there. Yeah. I
- 11:01Speaker 1: feel like it's almost like one of those things every
- 11:03Speaker 1: summer where you're just like, all right, who's Whiz bringing
- 11:05Speaker 1: out on the road this year? M hm for sure
- 11:08Speaker 1: I missed that too, Like, you know, just a camaraderie
- 11:10Speaker 1: of people and hearing what names are going to be
- 11:13Speaker 1: out there and knowing who you cool with and knowing
- 11:15Speaker 1: who you want to get the known and stuff like that. Hey,
- 11:17Speaker 1: do you remember the time that Wiz did a show
- 11:22Speaker 1: in flag Staff at NAU and his cousin played football
- 11:25Speaker 1: there and then we all went and took over like
- 11:28Speaker 1: a frat house in the mountains? Was that there? I
- 11:32Speaker 1: don't know if you were there, you would have remembered
- 11:35Speaker 1: if you were there. Never mind, you might not have
- 11:36Speaker 1: been there. But I feel like you're at every fucking
- 11:38Speaker 1: show I know, because only only one that I really
- 11:41Speaker 1: remember is like in Arizona. I mean, of course had
- 11:45Speaker 1: a spot called Red something or something. Oh your club,
- 11:47Speaker 1: Red Club, Red Yeah, that was early. Huh yeah, like
- 11:50Speaker 1: even that, and I went back there with Kevin Gates
- 11:53Speaker 1: in like two thy fifteen. Yeah. I think the last
- 11:55Speaker 1: time I saw you solo was in scott Steel. You
- 11:58Speaker 1: and Berner did a show yep yep, shout out through
- 12:01Speaker 1: the burn Man. Yeah. I just feel like the road
- 12:04Speaker 1: Man is like some I feel like you guys, I
- 12:07Speaker 1: have done it for so long in the summertime, it's
- 12:09Speaker 1: like shit, it's crazy to think this is the first
- 12:10Speaker 1: summer in my life where there's no big toys. It's crazy. Well,
- 12:15Speaker 1: you let me ask you a question. What do you
- 12:17Speaker 1: think about when the Getback happens next year? How many
- 12:21Speaker 1: people are going to be trying to go out? Some
- 12:23Speaker 1: people ain't gonna get their chance. I think that there's
- 12:26Speaker 1: gonna be a adjusted bag for the times for all
- 12:30Speaker 1: the artists, right, Like you might have to take like
- 12:34Speaker 1: fifteen grand less than you're used to taking, or like
- 12:36Speaker 1: depending on you know what I'm saying, just because because
- 12:38Speaker 1: you have to kind of factor that in. Not only that, right,
- 12:41Speaker 1: but the costs if you think about it, if you're
- 12:44Speaker 1: a promoter and you want to throw a show, the
- 12:47Speaker 1: precautions are way different now. Yeah, you gotta like make
- 12:50Speaker 1: sure everyone's like fucking you know, maybe sprayed down before
- 12:54Speaker 1: they walk in like that. I don't know, Like Bro,
- 12:57Speaker 1: I went to I went to Mexico last month, and
- 13:01Speaker 1: before we can go into the resort, you gotta stand
- 13:03Speaker 1: under this thing and it missed you with fucking sanitizer. Bro. Yeah,
- 13:07Speaker 1: see this ship was wild. Ship's getting trippy. But yeah,
- 13:10Speaker 1: the shows are gonna be interesting because I think once
- 13:15Speaker 1: there's a fucking you know, uh what am I the
- 13:20Speaker 1: ship that they give you, vaccine, a fucking vaccine, a vaccine,
- 13:28Speaker 1: the ship that they give you, ship that they give you.
- 13:32Speaker 1: That might be some ship that they give you though too,
- 13:34Speaker 1: like people they don't know. Man, history is crazy, like
- 13:37Speaker 1: there used to be vaccines and ship like that back
- 13:39Speaker 1: in the day where they give you ship, they give
- 13:41Speaker 1: you the ship that day they purposely gave Yeah, so
- 13:44Speaker 1: they so are you gonna go take the vaccine? I'm
- 13:47Speaker 1: away at least I'm gonna. I'm gonna. I'm gonna take
- 13:50Speaker 1: that motherfucker eventually. Look, I don't I haven't dug it
- 13:54Speaker 1: enough to the anti vaccine fucking conspiracy hole on the internet,
- 13:59Speaker 1: but I gotta check it out. It's a place I'm
- 14:01Speaker 1: willing to check out. Yeah, me neither. But I feel
- 14:03Speaker 1: like it's fifty to fifty. I don't know. I mean,
- 14:07Speaker 1: it's documented that they purposely injected black people with syphilis.
- 14:13Speaker 1: See that's like official, that's official. Just think about the
- 14:18Speaker 1: last person you heard have chicken pox. I haven't had
- 14:21Speaker 1: chicken box in a long time, but as a kid,
- 14:24Speaker 1: you had had it once back then. It don't come
- 14:27Speaker 1: around no more. Do you think that's because people got vaccinated?
- 14:31Speaker 1: I mean, isn't that good. I feel like it was
- 14:33Speaker 1: something that was put here, just like everything else, almost
- 14:36Speaker 1: like it was some man made Yeah, bird flu, where
- 14:39Speaker 1: is it at? Anthrax? Where's it at? It's like that
- 14:42Speaker 1: shit just don't up and leave. Listen, man, the coronavirus
- 14:45Speaker 1: already have the coronavirus like four months ago. So I'm
- 14:49Speaker 1: you know, that shit sucked. Maybe I'm already fucking immune.
- 14:53Speaker 1: What was that? Like? I just couldn't. Honestly, for me,
- 14:56Speaker 1: it was like, I'm a fucking idiot in Scottsdale opened
- 15:00Speaker 1: back up. So I went out there and DJed like
- 15:03Speaker 1: a fucking idiot, and then Swale I DJed his mansion
- 15:06Speaker 1: party in Scottsdale, and then like three days later I
- 15:10Speaker 1: had a sniffle and I was like, you know, it's
- 15:14Speaker 1: a fucking sniffle. Whatever. I got back to LA and
- 15:17Speaker 1: then I couldn't smell, and I was like, fuck, I
- 15:20Speaker 1: got this shit. Yeah, so I just couldn't smell. And
- 15:23Speaker 1: then I was like fatigued a little bit, and they
- 15:26Speaker 1: say that's the first thing that goes It's like smell. Yeah,
- 15:29Speaker 1: I'm just glad my taste didn't go away because I'm
- 15:31Speaker 1: a fat fuck. So I was you know, I like
- 15:33Speaker 1: to enjoy my food. It definitely was affected. But yeah,
- 15:37Speaker 1: I think the shows are going to be extremely different
- 15:41Speaker 1: for at least all the next year. Like this way,
- 15:43Speaker 1: if Drake goes out, if the baby goes out, if
- 15:46Speaker 1: Wiz goes out, if Travis Scott goes out, if some
- 15:52Speaker 1: so and so goes out, that person in that household
- 15:56Speaker 1: cannot buy all those guys. Well, I feel like that
- 15:58Speaker 1: was already happening. There was some summer it might have
- 16:01Speaker 1: been last summer or the summer before there was there
- 16:05Speaker 1: was like fucking fifteen tours going on, and like one
- 16:10Speaker 1: of these is taken a l Yeah, somebody gotta lose
- 16:13Speaker 1: because the ain't no like you said, no, No, nobody
- 16:16Speaker 1: who's normal can afford five arena tour fucking tickets. That's
- 16:20Speaker 1: fifty bucks a pop, like you know, I mean, and
- 16:23Speaker 1: you gotta take in consideration, you saying to yourself, these
- 16:26Speaker 1: are my favorite artists. I'm not going on the lawn.
- 16:29Speaker 1: I'm buying them. Yeah, you gotta go with abroad or
- 16:31Speaker 1: you gotta go with your people, and then you gotta
- 16:33Speaker 1: get a babysitter outfits shit, you know what I mean?
- 16:37Speaker 1: Five shows? Yeah, I don't know, man, I think the
- 16:39Speaker 1: I think the concert is gonna be fucked up for
- 16:40Speaker 1: a while. I think it's gonna go heavy in the
- 16:42Speaker 1: digital space for a little bit. Like I know some
- 16:45Speaker 1: people who are some heavy hitters that are like putting
- 16:48Speaker 1: together some like digital like pay for concert shit, which
- 16:52Speaker 1: I think is kind of honestly fucking whack, but meaning
- 16:56Speaker 1: like watch it, like you just watch yeah, like people
- 16:58Speaker 1: are performed, Like I think that shits terrible. I think
- 17:00Speaker 1: I think. I mean, if you can get a bag,
- 17:02Speaker 1: of course you're gonna do it if you're an artist.
- 17:04Speaker 1: But it's like that kind of takes away the whole
- 17:05Speaker 1: purpose of the road. The road is to like build
- 17:08Speaker 1: up more fans, see the people with your own eyes,
- 17:11Speaker 1: you know, interact with your with your especially if you're
- 17:15Speaker 1: doing smaller venues. That's like the most important, like stage
- 17:18Speaker 1: of your career when you're doing like five hundred person
- 17:20Speaker 1: venues and you can go in like see like your
- 17:24Speaker 1: and then you give them a good experience and then
- 17:25Speaker 1: they go tell all of their friends times five hundred,
- 17:28Speaker 1: and then the next time you come back, it's like
- 17:30Speaker 1: a thousand person venue to one thousand. I feel like
- 17:32Speaker 1: everybody has fucking staged in the crowd. You have to,
- 17:37Speaker 1: like the thing is is it's crazy because there's some
- 17:39Speaker 1: artists who are shoot so fast down where they're just
- 17:43Speaker 1: so big, so quick that like they need Some of
- 17:46Speaker 1: these motherfuckers never got the opportunity to do that those
- 17:49Speaker 1: kind of venues. They get thrown on some major tour first.
- 17:52Speaker 1: That's a fact. It's like yo, that like that solo
- 17:56Speaker 1: little run, even if you do two hundred tickets a
- 17:59Speaker 1: night like that, shit matters. That sh It's how you
- 18:02Speaker 1: spread your fan base. Like I don't know the man,
- 18:04Speaker 1: We'll see what happens. I know, Whiz just did like
- 18:07Speaker 1: a fucking uh he performed in the backyard like the
- 18:11Speaker 1: virtual her fucking genius. Yeah yeah, yeah, that ship was again.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I think that's where ship's going. And if you're an artist,
- 18:20Speaker 1: I could do the show in my backyard. Yeah that's
- 18:23Speaker 1: I mean, you for sure gonna be like I thought.
- 18:25Speaker 1: The only thing I thought was cool about that is
- 18:26Speaker 1: like fans could vote on what song he performed next.
- 18:30Speaker 1: That ship was fire. Can you imagine if they figure
- 18:33Speaker 1: out a way to do that ship I like a
- 18:35Speaker 1: real venue like on an app wow, and like the
- 18:39Speaker 1: like you're performing, but the fans are in the crowd
- 18:42Speaker 1: voting on what you're That should be an artist, fuck
- 18:44Speaker 1: because it's cool too for the artist like you want
- 18:47Speaker 1: it would you wouldn't like you already have your catalog.
- 18:49Speaker 1: You know what's up If the fan is hitting the
- 18:53Speaker 1: song on the app and the and it comes through
- 18:56Speaker 1: like the in air ship, you know what's coming next.
- 18:58Speaker 1: So you ain't gonna fuck up truth and so it
- 19:01Speaker 1: that's I mean, I know, you know with the it's
- 19:03Speaker 1: like people having their sets and shit, it could be
- 19:05Speaker 1: a little interesting. But yeah, I don't know, man, talk
- 19:09Speaker 1: about with your album, like I know you you kind
- 19:11Speaker 1: of switched up a little bit of the sound on
- 19:14Speaker 1: some records, especially like with the melodics. Shit, I mean
- 19:17Speaker 1: going in that direction on some of the songs, like
- 19:21Speaker 1: and you've always kind of done that to an extent,
- 19:23Speaker 1: but like, what is do you feel like this is
- 19:25Speaker 1: like your I feel like I've heard heard the growth
- 19:30Speaker 1: on this project the most. That's where That's where I
- 19:34Speaker 1: was at with it in my mind too. I so
- 19:37Speaker 1: twenty and nineteen, like we talked about, I put out
- 19:40Speaker 1: one project, and with that one project, we were on
- 19:44Speaker 1: tour as well. When I got off tour, I was like,
- 19:46Speaker 1: you know what, I'm not even going hurry up and
- 19:49Speaker 1: rush to be like yo, I want need to put
- 19:51Speaker 1: an album album album. I just got my pen right,
- 19:54Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So I got a bunch
- 19:55Speaker 1: of the song like maybe one hundred two hundred songs
- 19:57Speaker 1: from twenty nineteen that I never even release just because
- 20:01Speaker 1: it was like me, it was like studying, practicing and
- 20:04Speaker 1: stuff like that. So I like put that on myself
- 20:07Speaker 1: and said, I'm not even gonna worry about the albums
- 20:09Speaker 1: going right right right right, right right right. And that's
- 20:11Speaker 1: why you hear the melodic sounds the more, uh, there's
- 20:15Speaker 1: more message in it, you know what I mean, Like
- 20:17Speaker 1: a mixtape. I can get in there and blah blah
- 20:19Speaker 1: blah I want to do. But this like personal shit
- 20:21Speaker 1: that I haven't said in all this time, Like I
- 20:23Speaker 1: haven't said stuff about like my uncles and like things
- 20:27Speaker 1: like that passing away and like not being at home
- 20:29Speaker 1: when my grandma passed away and not being at the
- 20:32Speaker 1: funeral and things like that, being in the hood, niggas
- 20:35Speaker 1: turning their back on you, niggas kicking in my door
- 20:37Speaker 1: and come to find out, or with some niggas I knew,
- 20:39Speaker 1: and like, you know what I mean, stuff like that.
- 20:41Speaker 1: So I never really talked about, Like my one thing
- 20:44Speaker 1: I really didn't talk about is like my car getting
- 20:46Speaker 1: shot up twelve times with me in the car and
- 20:49Speaker 1: not getting hit, you know what I'm saying, And like home, Yeah,
- 20:52Speaker 1: this was back home, right in front of my mom's house.
- 20:54Speaker 1: When did that happen? What you're like, maybe I want
- 20:58Speaker 1: to say sixteen, like twenty sixteen, that just happened nineteen. Yeah,
- 21:03Speaker 1: So it was trippy. It was. It was like not trippy,
- 21:08Speaker 1: but it was trippy like Tripp was twelve. It was
- 21:12Speaker 1: tripping me out because it's like it's on the block.
- 21:15Speaker 1: It's on the block where I did everything you feel me,
- 21:18Speaker 1: like in front of my mom's house. So when it
- 21:20Speaker 1: shit started happening, I ain't even really like it didn't
- 21:23Speaker 1: really were you inside of your car? Yeah, bro, I
- 21:25Speaker 1: was sitting there like rolling weed, like smoking, like rolling weed,
- 21:28Speaker 1: about to smoke, and I had talking to some girl
- 21:31Speaker 1: on the phone, and I like, when I pulled up,
- 21:34Speaker 1: I never put my because what I do is when
- 21:36Speaker 1: I pull up, if I'm listening to music, I let
- 21:38Speaker 1: the song just play right and then I turned the
- 21:40Speaker 1: car off and get out and go no matter what
- 21:43Speaker 1: I'm listening to. But I was just rolling the weed
- 21:45Speaker 1: and like talking to some girl, and all I heard
- 21:48Speaker 1: was bow and I ain't paying no attention because it's
- 21:51Speaker 1: my block. I'm like, motherfucker's shooting the air and do
- 21:53Speaker 1: shit all the time. It was nine forty five in
- 21:56Speaker 1: the morning, though, bo I'm like whoa. Bo. I'm like,
- 22:02Speaker 1: oh shit, they shooting at the car, mind you. I'm
- 22:06Speaker 1: still looking straight, not knowing where it comes from. And
- 22:09Speaker 1: then the fourth shot, I looked over and I hit
- 22:11Speaker 1: the car too, like bout I'm like, oh shit. Then
- 22:15Speaker 1: all the rest of them start coming through the windshield.
- 22:19Speaker 1: I slid down, hit the door. Now my foots on
- 22:22Speaker 1: the brake. I never put the car in part. I
- 22:25Speaker 1: slid down, hit the door latch, let my foot go
- 22:27Speaker 1: off the break, and the car went that way like
- 22:29Speaker 1: tours where the motherfuckers was shooting from. And then I
- 22:32Speaker 1: just duck behind it and let it roll and then
- 22:35Speaker 1: like skirt around the corner and ship and it was
- 22:38Speaker 1: like and at that time, I never like, as I'm running,
- 22:40Speaker 1: like there's a little corner store. It ain't funny, but
- 22:42Speaker 1: it's funny. There's a little corner store. My adrenaline was
- 22:45Speaker 1: going so crazy that I even know if I was
- 22:47Speaker 1: hit or not. But I could feel the motherfucker's whizzing
- 22:50Speaker 1: pass and hitting the head rests. I could feel all
- 22:53Speaker 1: of that ship. Yeah, so I just so you you
- 22:58Speaker 1: opened the door and just kind of rolled out of
- 22:59Speaker 1: the car and bounce. Yeah. Like I put my hand
- 23:01Speaker 1: down and like kind of like creeped up the side
- 23:04Speaker 1: of the car and then like two more shots went
- 23:07Speaker 1: off like boun I'm like, all right, cool getting around
- 23:09Speaker 1: the corner where you like, do you know who it was?
- 23:13Speaker 1: You know the streets? You know? Well, like at the
- 23:16Speaker 1: because I feel like, I mean, at that time, did
- 23:19Speaker 1: you have any sort of issues with some Nah, that's
- 23:21Speaker 1: not even like my fel like, that's not your energy. Yeah,
- 23:24Speaker 1: it's not my energy at all. But you know, I
- 23:26Speaker 1: you know where I'm from, and you know family and
- 23:30Speaker 1: you know stuff like that. I'm in, you know what
- 23:32Speaker 1: I'm saying. I'm tied in regardless of anything. You know
- 23:35Speaker 1: what I'm saying. And you're part of it. You're probably
- 23:37Speaker 1: like the face of the fam because you're the biggest
- 23:39Speaker 1: fucking yeah that too. But you know it's like it's
- 23:41Speaker 1: just it's you know, neighborhood shit, man, neighborhood shit. Sometimes
- 23:46Speaker 1: you don't have nothing to do with shit. And that
- 23:47Speaker 1: could have been like a you know, a bad case
- 23:50Speaker 1: right there for nothing type of deal, you know what
- 23:53Speaker 1: I mean. Damn I didn't know that, man, Yeah, because
- 23:55Speaker 1: I never said it. I never, I never you know
- 23:58Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Like you see Dolf, he like putting
- 24:00Speaker 1: maybe a mixtape called a Hunted Shots. Like at the
- 24:03Speaker 1: same time, I was like, yeah, by the way, shout
- 24:05Speaker 1: out to Young Dolph, not only for being the good homie,
- 24:07Speaker 1: but Jesus man, they really try to get that food
- 24:11Speaker 1: he pulled through whice Like these motherfuckers was really trying
- 24:15Speaker 1: to kill the young doll for like a year straight. Yeah,
- 24:17Speaker 1: that was crazy and that's all I could think of
- 24:20Speaker 1: at that time. I was just like fuck and like
- 24:22Speaker 1: now with the Nipsey stuff and all that shit, I mean,
- 24:26Speaker 1: what was the young man from Pittsburg who died the
- 24:28Speaker 1: same day. Yeah, man, that's crazy because you could have
- 24:34Speaker 1: been bro. Like I think that that is the one
- 24:36Speaker 1: thing like when X, when X got murdered, it was
- 24:39Speaker 1: like yo, man, like you cannot move around where you're from,
- 24:44Speaker 1: Like it's all good if you're his, if you're that big.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Like it sucks to say it, but it feels like
- 24:51Speaker 1: where you're like, instead of people being the most proud
- 24:54Speaker 1: of you where you're from, it's like you get the
- 24:56Speaker 1: most hate if you may if you're and it's crazy
- 24:59Speaker 1: because you're the most that's where you're the most comfortable
- 25:01Speaker 1: as well. Yeah you feel like you you know, it's
- 25:03Speaker 1: just I feel like people really you're you're like them,
- 25:09Speaker 1: and they're mad that like, well, what's so special about
- 25:11Speaker 1: that guy? Like he's from where I'm from, Like and
- 25:13Speaker 1: I'm fucking still, you know, I don't know, and seven
- 25:18Speaker 1: kids in the trap, It don't really be people in
- 25:21Speaker 1: your it do only it's not people in your circle
- 25:24Speaker 1: or people that you know or like people. Sometimes in
- 25:27Speaker 1: a few cases people you grow up, right, but it's
- 25:29Speaker 1: just some random blues. Yes, like from from the city.
- 25:32Speaker 1: It's like a lot of times, I'm not even fucking
- 25:35Speaker 1: famous like that, but I'm from Phoenix and there's people
- 25:37Speaker 1: who want it, Like, like I don't even know these people,
- 25:40Speaker 1: and I'm like, wait, you why do you hate me? Yeah?
- 25:42Speaker 1: They don't like you because your position. I'm so confused. Yeah, yah, ridiculous.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Damn well, I'm glad that you man, that's crazy. That's crazy.
- 25:51Speaker 1: So you're when when did your grandma pass away? Two
- 25:55Speaker 1: thousand and fourteen? Were you? Were you on the road
- 25:59Speaker 1: two thousand and thirty ain't matter of fact? Yeah, I
- 26:01Speaker 1: was on the road. I was in New York, matter
- 26:03Speaker 1: of fact, And like I got a message from one
- 26:06Speaker 1: of my cousins and they were like call home, like
- 26:10Speaker 1: call your mom type of deal. That's never good. And
- 26:13Speaker 1: I'm like, call my mom and it's my mom's mother, right.
- 26:16Speaker 1: So like when I called and she was telling me
- 26:18Speaker 1: about it, I was like, what, it's crazy because I
- 26:22Speaker 1: at the time, my grandma was like getting she was older,
- 26:26Speaker 1: you know what I mean. But I would go up
- 26:27Speaker 1: there weekly when I was like home and ship before
- 26:30Speaker 1: I moved out here, I would go up there weekly
- 26:32Speaker 1: and just take care of shit. Same with my granddad
- 26:34Speaker 1: that passed, like take care of shit, you know, because
- 26:37Speaker 1: they was always there and showed me shit. I always
- 26:40Speaker 1: stayed at night and watch wrestling at my grandma. My
- 26:42Speaker 1: granddad was always at fucking sports games and shit like
- 26:46Speaker 1: that all the time. So yeah, I was in New
- 26:48Speaker 1: York Man and like it was at a time where
- 26:51Speaker 1: a lot of shit was going on, and I just
- 26:53Speaker 1: didn't in my mind, I just didn't put two and
- 26:56Speaker 1: two together to be like I should. Yeah, sh it's
- 26:58Speaker 1: moving in that during that year. For the Tailor's for sure,
- 27:01Speaker 1: it's like yo, this like you guys are like really,
- 27:04Speaker 1: you know, it's crazy. Because my grandma died from COVID.
- 27:07Speaker 1: She was in the nursing home and we couldn't see
- 27:10Speaker 1: her like at all. So like for like the first
- 27:13Speaker 1: like two months of COVID nineteen. My grandma is like
- 27:16Speaker 1: super old and so she had like light light dementia,
- 27:22Speaker 1: so she didn't see any of this. Like forty five
- 27:25Speaker 1: days before she died, she saw nobody from her family.
- 27:28Speaker 1: So that shit was rough to swallow because it was like, damn,
- 27:32Speaker 1: like she might have thought everybody was dead or you
- 27:35Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, like they wouldn't. It was crazy, Yeah,
- 27:37Speaker 1: because when you're in that, Like I said, my granddad
- 27:40Speaker 1: passed away from dementia and the only thing at the end,
- 27:43Speaker 1: this is the man that used to take me to
- 27:45Speaker 1: every sport event I had, but the only thing I
- 27:50Speaker 1: would go over there on Wednesdays. The only thing he
- 27:52Speaker 1: knew me by was apple pie because that's what I
- 27:55Speaker 1: used to bring. That's what he liked. I used to
- 27:57Speaker 1: bring it on Wednesday. Like he forgot my name. Damn,
- 28:00Speaker 1: just be like when you see me, he'd be like
- 28:02Speaker 1: apple pie. And you know I'm about to give him,
- 28:05Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, the apple pie, which was
- 28:07Speaker 1: still cool. You know what I'm saying, to take it
- 28:09Speaker 1: in a cool way. Yo. That's wild man, That's that's crazy.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Did you watch the Democratic or the debate? Did you
- 28:16Speaker 1: see the debate? I watched it with the sound off.
- 28:19Speaker 1: I was in the studio recording, so I've seen it
- 28:22Speaker 1: with the sound off. But I went through YouTube last
- 28:26Speaker 1: night when I got to the crib and rewatched it.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Ways was like yo. I was like, yeah, I'm gonna
- 28:30Speaker 1: go watch this ship. When I get him, he's like, man,
- 28:32Speaker 1: don't watch that ship. I'm like, I gotta see it.
- 28:35Speaker 1: I got to see what they was saying. Yeah, what
- 28:37Speaker 1: did you think? What did you think of it? Honestly,
- 28:43Speaker 1: I mean, lesser of two evils, That's what I got
- 28:48Speaker 1: from it. That's the Joe Biden bumper sticker, lesser of
- 28:51Speaker 1: two evils, vote for me? For real. He needs to
- 28:54Speaker 1: go about that because it's basically that, you know what
- 28:56Speaker 1: I mean, because you can still like there's there's stuff
- 28:58Speaker 1: from back in the day that Joe oh yeah, the
- 29:00Speaker 1: ninety four crime. But I mean, look, Joe Biden is
- 29:02Speaker 1: a very flawed candidate, but for sure he's not I
- 29:05Speaker 1: think he does have you know, I think if you're
- 29:08Speaker 1: the president, you gotta like have the quality to make
- 29:12Speaker 1: people feel like everything's gonna be okay, even if it's not.
- 29:17Speaker 1: I feel like that is like your job. You're supposed
- 29:19Speaker 1: to go out and talk to the whole entire country
- 29:22Speaker 1: during times of fuck shit and make everyone feel like
- 29:25Speaker 1: it's handled. Well. You see Donald Trump, you look at
- 29:28Speaker 1: him and say, we're fucked. We're fucked DC Joe Biden,
- 29:31Speaker 1: and he's like everybody just we're less fucked. He might
- 29:34Speaker 1: be old, but at least he's got the fucking at
- 29:37Speaker 1: least he's got the young fly sister with with her
- 29:39Speaker 1: wag as Timberlands. You know what I'm saying, She had
- 29:41Speaker 1: the one souls. I'm like, who the New York people
- 29:46Speaker 1: was getting on there? They gotta stop trying to like
- 29:49Speaker 1: make her hip hop because she said that the fucking
- 29:51Speaker 1: Tupac was the greatest rapper alive. And I'm like, why
- 29:54Speaker 1: is she even like leave it alone, man, just leave it.
- 29:58Speaker 1: And the way to look at that is maybe she
- 30:01Speaker 1: knows something we don't know. Maybe Tupac is alive. Man,
- 30:05Speaker 1: she ain't the only one I know that shit. Bro.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Let me tell you, for like ten years of my life,
- 30:11Speaker 1: I try to no, probably like five years he left
- 30:14Speaker 1: the country. He's alive. Bro. There's so many things about
- 30:18Speaker 1: Tupac's death that are wild. Like, if you listen to
- 30:22Speaker 1: Tupac's greatest hits, there's a song on there called where
- 30:26Speaker 1: he says he says rest in peace Biggie Smalls in
- 30:28Speaker 1: the beginning, and Biggie died like like fucking nine months
- 30:31Speaker 1: after Tupac died, so rest in peace, fucking Biggie Smalls.
- 30:35Speaker 1: And then at the beginning of Macavelly he says, shug
- 30:40Speaker 1: shot me. Yeah he does. I heard that, bro. There's
- 30:44Speaker 1: a song on Tupac's Greatest Hits where he shouts out
- 30:47Speaker 1: Biggie being dead. Also, there's uh, he did you know
- 30:52Speaker 1: when they were putting out those black ass Tupac albums
- 30:54Speaker 1: where there was like, uh, just random ass like current
- 30:57Speaker 1: rappers on songs with Tupac, Like why is he's added
- 31:00Speaker 1: out trick Daddy bro on one of the songs, And
- 31:02Speaker 1: I'm like, yo, trick Daddy was not a fucking round
- 31:05Speaker 1: bro in ninety six. Yes he was, Yeah, I mean,
- 31:09Speaker 1: but was he like he would I'm sure he was around,
- 31:12Speaker 1: but like, was he like this the fucking to know
- 31:16Speaker 1: the trick Daddy was bro bro Like Www. Doug dot
- 31:21Speaker 1: Com was like the first album that had I think
- 31:25Speaker 1: that was like ninety nine, Like it was ninety No,
- 31:28Speaker 1: it was ninety nine looking up that baby, I'm au no,
- 31:32Speaker 1: that was that was after trick Daddy was popping. It
- 31:34Speaker 1: was the that was the nand that you know, man, Okay, Yeah,
- 31:38Speaker 1: let's see what you might be right that I think
- 31:40Speaker 1: that was like ninety eight, it was ninety nine hundred.
- 31:45Speaker 1: What's it the trick? Trick's first album based on a
- 31:47Speaker 1: true story came out ninety seven? Okay, No, but the
- 31:49Speaker 1: one that everyone knew him for, Doug Doug dot com.
- 31:52Speaker 1: But if his first album year in ninety seven, what
- 31:55Speaker 1: Tupac died in ninety six? Dot Com was ninety eight? Okay.
- 31:58Speaker 1: If his first album came out in ninety seven, he
- 31:59Speaker 1: was probably already moving in ninety six. Tupac died in
- 32:01Speaker 1: ninety six. And for the record, but you don't know
- 32:04Speaker 1: their nigga didn't come out in naty six, ninety eight,
- 32:07Speaker 1: ninety eight. Listen, man, nobody who the fuck trick dad
- 32:10Speaker 1: he was? When Tubac was alive? God bless you. Yeah,
- 32:12Speaker 1: I could now now now that the math. Yeah, so
- 32:16Speaker 1: Tupac I was thinking, this motherfucker was alive. I'm like,
- 32:20Speaker 1: wait a minute, why does he shout out biggie smalls
- 32:23Speaker 1: that fucking shit. I know he had a lot of songs,
- 32:25Speaker 1: but like he's got like fucking eleventeen albums since he's
- 32:30Speaker 1: fucking died, Like, how much fucking that? Well, that's your
- 32:33Speaker 1: your your knowledge back then. Now you're right now that
- 32:36Speaker 1: I know that was. That was when I was a kid,
- 32:38Speaker 1: But now I know that there's motherfuckers who literally have
- 32:40Speaker 1: like five hundred songs on their hard drive that nobody
- 32:43Speaker 1: was and they clip pieces. He could say Biggie Smalls,
- 32:45Speaker 1: and he could say rest in Peace, and they go
- 32:47Speaker 1: clip true. They can make him say anything. Yeah, that's true.
- 32:52Speaker 1: As a kid, you don't think like the fucking pros.
- 32:54Speaker 1: We didn't exactly. We didn't know about the fucking boards
- 32:56Speaker 1: and working in the studios and like all that shit
- 32:59Speaker 1: back dude, like TV bro hold on, I'm about to
- 33:01Speaker 1: play this part. Br I used to listen to this
- 33:03Speaker 1: song so much as a kid because I've heard him
- 33:05Speaker 1: say that I heard this show. So you heard the
- 33:07Speaker 1: shoog shot me. Everyone heard that, but nobody never heard
- 33:09Speaker 1: the Biggie Smalls. People don't remember because people ain't real
- 33:12Speaker 1: Tupac fans. And by the way, I'm extremely critical of Tupac.
- 33:16Speaker 1: I think he's one of the most overrated MC's ever,
- 33:20Speaker 1: but I think as an artist he was extremely important
- 33:22Speaker 1: and incredible. MC break it down. I just feel like
- 33:28Speaker 1: lyrically like lyrics, like lyrically flow wise, he was limited
- 33:35Speaker 1: with his flo like you think a biggie biggie could
- 33:37Speaker 1: hop on a song with bone and do bone shit.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Like I just feel like Tupac as the whole package
- 33:45Speaker 1: was one of the greatest of all times, one of
- 33:47Speaker 1: the most influential. But I think when we talk about
- 33:49Speaker 1: like who's the best rapper like pure rap skills, I
- 33:52Speaker 1: don't think Tupac's I think he's around eleven or twelve,
- 33:56Speaker 1: not that far back. Well, I guess I think because
- 33:59Speaker 1: you're going to you're gonna say big Daddy Cane, You're
- 34:02Speaker 1: going to say I put Roys the five to nine
- 34:04Speaker 1: over Tupac as a rapper if we're talking about rapping.
- 34:10Speaker 1: If we're talking about rapping, I'm not talking about making.
- 34:13Speaker 1: And by the way, Royce is incredible, but I'm saying
- 34:15Speaker 1: super though, there's so many artists who could wrap circles
- 34:20Speaker 1: around Tupac. Think of like this, do you remember the
- 34:24Speaker 1: fucking the Biggie Tupac freestyle I got seven Mac Eleven's
- 34:28Speaker 1: about Hey, all you gotta do is just listen to
- 34:31Speaker 1: that song. And there's just like a very big contrast
- 34:34Speaker 1: on who was like the better rapper. Yeah, Yeah, the
- 34:39Speaker 1: millionaire of the mention of yacht the two hot clocks
- 34:42Speaker 1: to two spots, cause I got the weed spot. I
- 34:44Speaker 1: shot dreading the head. Yeah, toot the bread and the
- 34:47Speaker 1: lamb spread. Yeah all right, Hey, shout out to the
- 34:49Speaker 1: tunnel from Funk Flex and Big Cat for having that
- 34:52Speaker 1: back in the day. Yeah. See word play, Yeah, I
- 34:58Speaker 1: would say word play, That's what I'm saying. I'm not
- 35:00Speaker 1: saying that Tupac was not fucking bro one of my
- 35:03Speaker 1: favorite two bucks, one of my favorite rappers ever. But
- 35:07Speaker 1: you know what, people die on the Tupac cross like.
- 35:09Speaker 1: They die on like you know, there's two types of
- 35:12Speaker 1: fans that are very similar in two different aspects of life.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Tupac rap fans and Little Wayne rap fans. I'll put
- 35:18Speaker 1: those in the same category because Little Wayne fans are
- 35:21Speaker 1: fucking crazy because they think he's he's he's the second
- 35:23Speaker 1: most o great rapper. But nonetheless, Tupac fans God rest
- 35:28Speaker 1: is soul. Kobe fans, right, if you talk to a
- 35:32Speaker 1: Kobe fan, they think Kobe's like one or two all time.
- 35:37Speaker 1: These two you're crazy. You're crazy to me if you
- 35:43Speaker 1: if someone asks you who's the greatest NBA player ever?
- 35:46Speaker 1: And you say any other names besides Michael Jordan or
- 35:49Speaker 1: Lebron James, You're just heavily biased. Then you grew up
- 35:52Speaker 1: like I mean, Will Chamberlain did a lot of shit. Yeah,
- 35:56Speaker 1: but he was playing against motherfuckers that look like me.
- 35:58Speaker 1: I'll say that same I say this story. But but
- 36:03Speaker 1: there was just a bunch of fucking balding white dudes
- 36:05Speaker 1: out there. Bro, listen to this all right, So this
- 36:08Speaker 1: is where I'm at with it. We're talking about we talked,
- 36:11Speaker 1: We're talking about rings right now. This is what I'm
- 36:13Speaker 1: gonna say. Right Lebron this year is his tenth time
- 36:18Speaker 1: going to the league, I mean going to the going
- 36:20Speaker 1: to the championship. Right. Oh, I can't wait for I
- 36:22Speaker 1: can't wait for this argument. You're about to make it
- 36:24Speaker 1: if he if he, if he wins every time. This
- 36:30Speaker 1: man has ten championship rings. Bill Russell did that, yeah,
- 36:36Speaker 1: and that against guys that look like me. In this era,
- 36:39Speaker 1: Lebron had the chance to do that. Are are you
- 36:42Speaker 1: about to get in Lebron's ass right now? Baus? What
- 36:44Speaker 1: I'm going to say is after he if he plays
- 36:47Speaker 1: these couple of years and makes a run of three
- 36:50Speaker 1: rings and gets past the five that Kobe has on
- 36:54Speaker 1: the stat board, on the rings, on everything, He's gonna
- 36:58Speaker 1: be past Kobe. So so can I point something out
- 37:01Speaker 1: because I think Lebron gets a really bad rap for
- 37:05Speaker 1: the how many times he's been to the finals versus
- 37:08Speaker 1: how many times he's wondering, like, we don't talk about
- 37:13Speaker 1: Jordan or Kobe. We don't talk about the year Kobe
- 37:18Speaker 1: was on the Lakers before they Jerry West handed him
- 37:21Speaker 1: Paul Gasol for nothing and they were a fucking eight
- 37:24Speaker 1: seed getting bounced out. Trust me, the Suns did it.
- 37:28Speaker 1: But it's the number. But what I'm saying is the
- 37:30Speaker 1: years that Kobe didn't make the finals, the years Jordan
- 37:35Speaker 1: didn't make Lebron's going to the finals like his failure
- 37:39Speaker 1: years are like, you know what, he made it to
- 37:41Speaker 1: the finals, but he's going to the finals and losing.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Hey would So Jordan went to the finals and never lost.
- 37:49Speaker 1: But what's okay? A normal year for Lebron is making
- 37:53Speaker 1: it to the finals, right, a normal year for any
- 37:56Speaker 1: Jordan went to the finals six times. How many years
- 37:58Speaker 1: did you play? Twelve years? Thirteen years? Yeah, so that
- 38:00Speaker 1: means half of his career he didn't go to the finals. Yeah,
- 38:04Speaker 1: but when he went, what did he do? So is
- 38:06Speaker 1: it better if Lebron had just gotten bounced in the
- 38:09Speaker 1: Eastern Conference finals those years instead of going and losing? Yeah,
- 38:13Speaker 1: but that's no, no no, no, no, no, no. Look, the
- 38:16Speaker 1: level would have still been the same. They still would
- 38:17Speaker 1: have been saying he lost. So why don't they say
- 38:20Speaker 1: that when Kobe was getting fucking eld skeyed up when
- 38:22Speaker 1: he had no help. Because when he goes to the finals,
- 38:25Speaker 1: he wins. So Lebron not true, Lebron not going? How
- 38:28Speaker 1: many times did Kobe lose in the finals? Lost one
- 38:30Speaker 1: Celtics once. But guess what, Guess what Lebron's other years?
- 38:36Speaker 1: Lebron is year seventeen. He's made it to the finals
- 38:39Speaker 1: ten years, so over half of his career he's been
- 38:42Speaker 1: in the finals. Right, He's probably gonna go another at
- 38:46Speaker 1: least one time with the Lakers because Charles Barkley hates
- 38:49Speaker 1: sitting up on that Charles Barkley's a fucking and sitting
- 38:52Speaker 1: up on that panel with Shaq Bro because he don't
- 38:55Speaker 1: have no chips. That's fine, but Lebron's got chips. Yeah,
- 38:58Speaker 1: but he wrote Lebron James Ring He's about to win
- 39:02Speaker 1: a ring with his third team, he loses in the
- 39:04Speaker 1: hit he Okay, so this is where you have no
- 39:09Speaker 1: argument here. Let's look at who Lebron's competition has been
- 39:14Speaker 1: in the finals, all right, the only one I'll give you.
- 39:17Speaker 1: There's only one ring that he lost that was unexcusable,
- 39:20Speaker 1: and that was against the MAVs in twenty elevens. That
- 39:22Speaker 1: was a joke. That's his black eye on his career.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Is that one series? Outside of that, The NBA is
- 39:31Speaker 1: crazier than ever. Jordan couldn't get out of the East
- 39:34Speaker 1: in the eighties because of Detroit, the Sixers, the Celtics
- 39:40Speaker 1: right figured it out, by the way, by the way,
- 39:44Speaker 1: you watched the Last Dance and they're like, yo, Jordan
- 39:48Speaker 1: was facing a feisty Cavaliers team, and who were the
- 39:52Speaker 1: best players on the Cavaliers, Mark Price and fucking or no, yeah,
- 39:55Speaker 1: Craig Elo, Mark Price and fucking Brad Daughtry and Jordan
- 40:00Speaker 1: had hard times getting past them. Nonetheless, the I think
- 40:04Speaker 1: the White Hoop dude was nice as hell. I listen, listen, listen.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Lebron is like nobody's ever fucking faced tougher competition in
- 40:16Speaker 1: the finals. That's a fact. This man went against peak
- 40:19Speaker 1: Spurs before Kawhi right as a kid with nobody. He
- 40:25Speaker 1: had Donyell Marshall, Eric Snow was his starting point guard
- 40:28Speaker 1: and they had Big Z. This was before Moe Williams
- 40:30Speaker 1: was even on the team. They went to the finals.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Obviously he got smashed by the fucking Spurs, because we're
- 40:36Speaker 1: talking peak Spurs right, this is fucking Duncan Duncan, Jenobilee,
- 40:42Speaker 1: Tony Parker in their fucking greatest He had to play
- 40:46Speaker 1: the MAVs, which they should have won. No shit. Then
- 40:51Speaker 1: they played the Thunder with three future NBA MVPs on
- 40:55Speaker 1: the roster. They had James hard and Kevin Durant and
- 40:58Speaker 1: Russell Westbrook all on this same fucking team. Lebron made
- 41:02Speaker 1: light work of them year two. Then the next two
- 41:04Speaker 1: years it's battles with the Spurs. This is new peak
- 41:08Speaker 1: Spurs with fucking Kawhi Leonard and he splits it fifty
- 41:12Speaker 1: to fifty. They get one, they get a wing run.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Here Kawhi wasn't average of twenty, but he was locking
- 41:18Speaker 1: motherfuckers the fuck down. No, he wasn't, come on, he won.
- 41:22Speaker 1: He won a finals MVP the year to say one, yeah,
- 41:25Speaker 1: but I'm saying yeah, I'll give him so he played
- 41:28Speaker 1: played in it twice. So then he has to go
- 41:31Speaker 1: against the fucking Warriors, Bro, who's legitimately the greatest team
- 41:37Speaker 1: I've ever I think ever. If you were to just
- 41:40Speaker 1: put like talent, you throw the Warriors with Katie, Steph
- 41:44Speaker 1: and Clay on the fucking against anybody like yeah, So
- 41:48Speaker 1: he has to play them four years in a row.
- 41:50Speaker 1: Year one, Kyrie and Kevin Love are injured. Matthew Delladova
- 41:57Speaker 1: is his fucking started point guard. He's got fucking mosgob
- 42:00Speaker 1: all the ship. You got to give him to you
- 42:03Speaker 1: him up. He took the fucking he took He took
- 42:05Speaker 1: the Cavaliers to six, or he took the Warriors to six.
- 42:09Speaker 1: They should have won the series, and they did. Then
- 42:13Speaker 1: the next year they win greatest fucking ring ever won
- 42:18Speaker 1: down three to one. Lebron wins the greatest ring anyone's
- 42:22Speaker 1: ever won. And then then and then the next two
- 42:25Speaker 1: years they just run into the buzz off. Like Bro,
- 42:27Speaker 1: it's Kevin Durant and the and the Warriors. It wasn't
- 42:31Speaker 1: fair won the NBA. But I say all that to
- 42:34Speaker 1: say Lebron has had the toughest competition and he's about
- 42:36Speaker 1: to win a third rings. He's better than Kobe. He's
- 42:39Speaker 1: better than Kobe. Of course, you're crazy. Kobe's like top
- 42:44Speaker 1: seven player of all time. He's certainly not top Eminem
- 42:47Speaker 1: is top three rappers, top five for you, That's what
- 42:50Speaker 1: it sounded like. Like. It's like like it's no way,
- 42:53Speaker 1: It's like not wait are you comparing Eminem to look
- 42:58Speaker 1: Lebron is jay Z? Not amminamker Come on, man, Lebron
- 43:02Speaker 1: is jay Z? Yes, and Jordan is Rock Cambro number
- 43:14Speaker 1: two is he's not. Lebron is number two, Bro Kobe
- 43:18Speaker 1: should look like at number two, Yes, he is. You're crazy.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Kobe is number two. Can we pull up what year seven?
- 43:24Speaker 1: Can we pull up what year number seventeen look like
- 43:26Speaker 1: for Kobe versus what it looked like for Lebron? Actually,
- 43:32Speaker 1: my phone, Kobe Bryant, it's for sure different, boy, It's
- 43:38Speaker 1: just not even close. Year seventeen, Lebron. Did you see
- 43:43Speaker 1: Lebron James score thirty eight points sixteen rebounds a tennissist
- 43:46Speaker 1: in an elimination game in the Western Conferences. You saw
- 43:49Speaker 1: that he's thirty five years old. It's you're seventeen. Oh no,
- 43:52Speaker 1: just a different type of animal, and he's about he's
- 43:55Speaker 1: a different type of animal. I mean you put in no,
- 43:57Speaker 1: you're right, four to five million dollars in your body
- 44:00Speaker 1: at this point, and Kobe was not doing that. So
- 44:03Speaker 1: we so Kobe did. Since you give Kobe had you know,
- 44:07Speaker 1: one big thing is with Kobe gonna get that surgery overseas.
- 44:10Speaker 1: That's what people know. People don't know that he was
- 44:13Speaker 1: if he was working. It's out there that Lebron puts
- 44:17Speaker 1: four or five, six, seven million dollars in his body
- 44:20Speaker 1: as far as training and doing all of that. Ship
- 44:22Speaker 1: you know, but it's like it's like the greatest of
- 44:24Speaker 1: all time. But think about it, it's like the rappers
- 44:26Speaker 1: not having Twitter and Instagram and YouTube at the time,
- 44:30Speaker 1: and then one of the then Lebron comes along and
- 44:32Speaker 1: he got Twitter and YouTube and Instagram, and now the
- 44:37Speaker 1: same thing. It is, shout out to Lebron. Now yeah
- 44:39Speaker 1: he's yeah, shout out to Lebron. He's number three. So
- 44:42Speaker 1: my favorite player is Carmelo by the way. Really, yes, oh,
- 44:45Speaker 1: you're one of those guys of all time. I mean,
- 44:48Speaker 1: I respect it. That's the original Scotti used to be
- 44:52Speaker 1: Scottie Pippen. Carmelo was fun to watch. They should have
- 44:57Speaker 1: did something with the fucking when they had AI. That
- 44:59Speaker 1: would have been crazy. Yeah, I would like that squad.
- 45:03Speaker 1: So you are you voting? Are you voting? Do you vote? Nah?
- 45:10Speaker 1: I haven't. I mean I live out here now, So
- 45:12Speaker 1: are you registered out here? No? Oh? So you got
- 45:14Speaker 1: as all? I got to fly back home. Now you
- 45:16Speaker 1: gotta do the absentee ballot. Bro, Pennsylvania is a fucking uh,
- 45:20Speaker 1: it's a really fucking that's a swing state. Man. I
- 45:24Speaker 1: found the song by the way, Tupac song. Why is
- 45:28Speaker 1: it not playing? It's because who you're telling somebody about it?
- 45:31Speaker 1: The government? The government doesn't want us to know Tupac's alive. Bro,
- 45:35Speaker 1: look at my new Xbox. Hit the power button and
- 45:37Speaker 1: it don't work. Why is it not playing on my Spotify?
- 45:44Speaker 1: God Bless the Dead is the name of the song.
- 45:47Speaker 1: Pull up on YouTube. Listen to this ship. Motherfuck Biggie Small.
- 46:03Speaker 1: See see that's how it's clipped. I would have been
- 46:06Speaker 1: through that player back watch to watch this. I'm gonna
- 46:08Speaker 1: tell you why it's clipped. Rest my motherfucker, Biggie Small.
- 46:19Speaker 1: It's really resting. It's whatever it is. The nigga is missing,
- 46:25Speaker 1: the word nigga is missing, rested piece of my motherfucking nigga,
- 46:28Speaker 1: Biggie Smalls. They clipped it rest in peace to my
- 46:31Speaker 1: motherfucker Biggie Smalls. Don't nobody talk like that, Bro? Maybe
- 46:35Speaker 1: you don't know that man. Somebody in Cuba probably knows him.
- 46:41Speaker 1: So if you were to vote, you would vote for
- 46:43Speaker 1: this year? Would you vote for the Biden man? Yeah?
- 46:47Speaker 1: Like I said, lesser two evils. That will be the
- 46:49Speaker 1: only reason. All right, So your album is out, and
- 46:54Speaker 1: it's been out for it's been out for a while now,
- 46:56Speaker 1: a couple of third Yeah, Hey, what's up with the
- 47:01Speaker 1: fucking this fucking methodical tailor gang album that I've heard
- 47:07Speaker 1: music that was supposed to be on for like the
- 47:09Speaker 1: last eight years of my life? Like, what is going on?
- 47:11Speaker 1: Is that ever gonna? I think everybody just start putting
- 47:14Speaker 1: out like this shit, like singlely first, just to build
- 47:19Speaker 1: that back up, because you know, we did A one
- 47:21Speaker 1: before a value one. Yeah, but that was more like
- 47:24Speaker 1: a tape. Yeah. Wasn't there supposed to be like an
- 47:27Speaker 1: actual album? Yeah, but that was like that was like
- 47:31Speaker 1: the tape. Yeah, it was the tape, but we're we're
- 47:34Speaker 1: working on the album now. But it's just like everybody
- 47:36Speaker 1: start doing their own. So who is like because I know,
- 47:39Speaker 1: like once people are Tailor Gang, you know, it's usually
- 47:42Speaker 1: everything and you know everything's kosher, But like who's officially
- 47:45Speaker 1: Taylor Gang now? Like official, like who's on the label now?
- 47:50Speaker 1: Because you don't see like I don't see Juicy J
- 47:53Speaker 1: Bang and Taylor Gang like he used to. You know
- 47:54Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I mean, you know shit happens. J's
- 48:01Speaker 1: not Tailor Gang anymore. I mean, like you said, once
- 48:03Speaker 1: you Tailor Gang, you Tailor gang, man, you know I'll
- 48:06Speaker 1: be seeing you know, people still be wearing their chains
- 48:09Speaker 1: and stuff like that. Do you get the chain back
- 48:12Speaker 1: once they leave the crew? It is like, hey, yo,
- 48:14Speaker 1: you this is yours as far as as long as
- 48:17Speaker 1: there was only one circumstance that does happen, you had
- 48:20Speaker 1: to get the chain back. I didn't have to get
- 48:21Speaker 1: it back. Who got whose chain got taken back? I
- 48:24Speaker 1: ain't gonna get into all that. I mean, come on, man,
- 48:27Speaker 1: that's cool. Was it a somebody like Bigger? I ain't
- 48:34Speaker 1: gonna get into all I ain't, you know. I mean
- 48:37Speaker 1: for me once. Once I rep it, I rep it,
- 48:40Speaker 1: and the chain have to get taken back. I'll take
- 48:42Speaker 1: a guess probably like probably like fourteen. Maybe it was
- 48:50Speaker 1: back a while fifteen, you know what I mean. You know,
- 48:54Speaker 1: sometimes business stuff don't work out for people and it
- 48:57Speaker 1: doesn't necessarily have to mean was it Uzy give me
- 49:00Speaker 1: the chain back? I don't even know, but its like
- 49:04Speaker 1: give me the chain back type of deal. You know
- 49:06Speaker 1: what I'm saying. It's not like because I heard I
- 49:08Speaker 1: heard was close to being Taylor Gang. Yeah, I mean
- 49:12Speaker 1: DJ Drama and him his family. Yeah, you know, so
- 49:15Speaker 1: UZZI got his changing Laker's family. You know what I'm saying, Uh,
- 49:19Speaker 1: Don Cann and his family shout out to Don Cannon
- 49:23Speaker 1: all right, well yeah, yeah man. You know, like I said,
- 49:30Speaker 1: once it's Taylor Gang, it's always Taylor Gang, especially with
- 49:32Speaker 1: me still Taylor Gang. Because that that was I feel
- 49:36Speaker 1: like that was the only exception of things I thought
- 49:38Speaker 1: that got kind of scheduled publicly where it felt like,
- 49:41Speaker 1: you guys like there was like a weird split. I
- 49:43Speaker 1: feel like everybody else is just kind of like, yeah,
- 49:45Speaker 1: I mean, it's different when it's you know, I guess
- 49:48Speaker 1: it's different because we haven't really like parted ways with
- 49:51Speaker 1: like no women like rappers or you know, I mean
- 49:54Speaker 1: stuff like that. So I guess it was probably kind
- 49:56Speaker 1: of like a different thing when you part ways like that.
- 50:00Speaker 1: They got to say what they gotta say anyway. Yeah,
- 50:02Speaker 1: I feel like, no matter what, like ties can always
- 50:05Speaker 1: be tailorang ciliated, burner will always be tailor ging affiliated
- 50:08Speaker 1: to some capacity. Like now when you speak of affiliated,
- 50:13Speaker 1: that's more like it, you know what I mean. It's
- 50:15Speaker 1: it's people that's like, you know, there's like a difference
- 50:18Speaker 1: between being signed to the label, right and then just
- 50:20Speaker 1: being yeah, just being the homies of you know what
- 50:24Speaker 1: I'm saying. For sure, you still popping and still support
- 50:28Speaker 1: you and do all of that. But I just in
- 50:30Speaker 1: my my years of dealing with people, I just know
- 50:33Speaker 1: some things that I just be like, yeah, I know
- 50:36Speaker 1: what's up with you? Still what's up? Though? You know
- 50:38Speaker 1: what I'm saying. But have you ever been in any
- 50:40Speaker 1: rap beefs in your career? Nah? No beefs? Nah? No? No,
- 50:45Speaker 1: that's a positive. Nah, some little stuff back home, But
- 50:48Speaker 1: it wasn't like not like some actual like like you know,
- 50:52Speaker 1: I never got into it with nobody the close thing.
- 50:54Speaker 1: I probably got into it with. Somebody was like, you
- 50:57Speaker 1: remember Trail used to hang with Tiger. Uh oh, ain't
- 51:01Speaker 1: not fat tro no oh yeah yeah, Like we just
- 51:05Speaker 1: had some words on the internet and then we were
- 51:08Speaker 1: we seen each other in Dubai and it was like
- 51:10Speaker 1: the ship never happened, you know what I'm saying. So
- 51:11Speaker 1: it was like, that's like the closest thing to anything. Damn,
- 51:16Speaker 1: that's the guy who had like one arm or said
- 51:18Speaker 1: something wrong with his hand or some ship. No, that's
- 51:21Speaker 1: that's the you know where the Tiger story is right
- 51:24Speaker 1: now where we used to have the tag he used
- 51:27Speaker 1: to have that. Yeah, that's where he got his spot now.
- 51:30Speaker 1: I think it's like him and his lady, you know
- 51:32Speaker 1: what I mean, shout out to uh to Tiger for
- 51:36Speaker 1: having comeback that I didn't see coming. It's lane and
- 51:40Speaker 1: he found it. I feel like he just did. This
- 51:44Speaker 1: is the thing with Tiger. Tiger like had his lane
- 51:48Speaker 1: and then he stopped running in it, and then his
- 51:50Speaker 1: ship hit a wall for like a long time and
- 51:54Speaker 1: then he just made ship again. That like he should
- 51:57Speaker 1: have never stopped like well also too, I believe I
- 52:00Speaker 1: mean it was public that Yeah, shit going on with
- 52:04Speaker 1: cash money. Oh yeah, but I know what he was
- 52:06Speaker 1: putting out a lot of ship through Empire that was
- 52:08Speaker 1: just atrocious music. He was putting out some really bad
- 52:11Speaker 1: ship and then you know, he finally got back to
- 52:15Speaker 1: making Like I think that's what happens with artists. Though
- 52:17Speaker 1: this motherfucker was trying to sing and like he was
- 52:20Speaker 1: just like bro like talk about strippers and fucking bitches
- 52:23Speaker 1: and do it over one hundred bpms. Like you know,
- 52:27Speaker 1: you know he's back, Your album is out, go support it,
- 52:32Speaker 1: you have any anything else, like any other ventures that
- 52:36Speaker 1: you're you want to shout out or you know, you know,
- 52:38Speaker 1: in Quarantine, I started to cook and ship, so oh yeah,
- 52:41Speaker 1: you can cook? Now? Are you better than branded scales? Though?
- 52:43Speaker 1: That's what we're trying to figure out. We won't find
- 52:46Speaker 1: out because I'm putting money on bet. I know he's
- 52:49Speaker 1: a beast. Yeah, he's like a fucking five star chef.
- 52:52Speaker 1: That guy too. I don't got no stars, you know
- 52:54Speaker 1: what I'm saying, But yeah, that man? What got you
- 52:59Speaker 1: into cooking? Though? I used to just hang around the
- 53:01Speaker 1: kitchen my grandma, my mom. And have you always been
- 53:03Speaker 1: a cook or is this recently? Nah? I mean, I
- 53:06Speaker 1: left my mom's house when I was like twenty, so
- 53:09Speaker 1: like being on my own kind of like figured that
- 53:11Speaker 1: shit out. But I'm saying like you was, like, were
- 53:13Speaker 1: you really started to get passionate about cooking? Like has
- 53:15Speaker 1: that been always been a thing or is that something
- 53:17Speaker 1: that's just been It's just been in the kitchen for
- 53:20Speaker 1: me until I really like start reading books and shit
- 53:24Speaker 1: like that and st just like watching YouTube. Shit, I've
- 53:27Speaker 1: been watching motherfuckers cook on YouTube all time. And as
- 53:29Speaker 1: I said, like for the to make it good with
- 53:32Speaker 1: Chevy Woods, it's a series just ten episodes, damn all right.
- 53:35Speaker 1: And then you've been working now too. Yeah, so you
- 53:38Speaker 1: work out where Wiz is at, which is what's it
- 53:40Speaker 1: called unbreakable Unbreakable which is shut out to Jay Glazer
- 53:44Speaker 1: Jay Glazier, Fox NFL Insider. Yes, sir, So what kind
- 53:48Speaker 1: of people work out over there? Oh? Shit? Football players,
- 53:53Speaker 1: basketball players, actors. Who's been the most random actor that
- 53:58Speaker 1: or like like coolest actor you've over there? Like seeing
- 54:01Speaker 1: over there? M It's a good question. I mean maybe
- 54:06Speaker 1: maybe me and Usher Usher, Yeah, because the cool thing
- 54:10Speaker 1: about it is he like comes in and like does
- 54:14Speaker 1: his work and like he says what's up to everybody,
- 54:17Speaker 1: of course and stuff like that, but he's like real
- 54:19Speaker 1: focus on what he's doing, and he rides his bike
- 54:22Speaker 1: there and back to wherever he's doing. Usher just riding
- 54:24Speaker 1: a bike. I met Usher at Ty's house last year
- 54:28Speaker 1: and it was one of the coolest I don't get
- 54:30Speaker 1: you know, I don't care about nobody. I was like, man,
- 54:33Speaker 1: I'm literally enticed kitchen with Usher talking like just going
- 54:36Speaker 1: in deep with him about the Game of Thrones the
- 54:38Speaker 1: season series finale. I was like, damn. When I was
- 54:42Speaker 1: a kid and somebody told me I'd be hanging out
- 54:44Speaker 1: with Usher, right, that should be crazy, Like you don't
- 54:47Speaker 1: happen to me with a lot of dudes, you know,
- 54:48Speaker 1: But like Usher, I was like, this is fucking crazy,
- 54:51Speaker 1: bro Like yeah, Like I was hanging out with bust
- 54:54Speaker 1: of Rhymes two like a couple of weeks ago, and
- 54:56Speaker 1: that shit was like wow, I'm really telling and Buster
- 55:00Speaker 1: Rhymes how excited I was when him and Mystical got
- 55:04Speaker 1: on a song together when I was a kid, Like
- 55:07Speaker 1: that's li though, Like this is crazy, Like I got
- 55:10Speaker 1: like that a round Buster. When I first met him,
- 55:12Speaker 1: I was just like fuck yeah, and I've seen Buster around,
- 55:15Speaker 1: but like actually was like, you know, we're in very
- 55:18Speaker 1: intimate space. Had a conversation for about an hour, and
- 55:20Speaker 1: I was like, this is crazy. If you were telling
- 55:21Speaker 1: me as a kid, I'd be kicking him with a
- 55:23Speaker 1: bust of rhymes, having like real conversations with him. I'd
- 55:26Speaker 1: tell you full shit, or I'd be like, yo, I
- 55:27Speaker 1: made it in life, right, it's crazy, man. Think it's
- 55:30Speaker 1: like that for me with Snoop. Yeah, even with Snoops.
- 55:34Speaker 1: You know, Doggy Style was the first cassette tape it
- 55:38Speaker 1: got me in the hip hop. I got it on
- 55:40Speaker 1: accident and I was like seven six and I learned
- 55:45Speaker 1: that whole. Bro, I had that whole I know that,
- 55:47Speaker 1: Like that's like my favorite top three four favorite album
- 55:52Speaker 1: ever you ever noticed? Like so obviously with the storytelling
- 55:57Speaker 1: from the East Coast, it is like slick Rick like infused,
- 56:01Speaker 1: Like that's where Snoop oh Snoop man. That's why as
- 56:04Speaker 1: a kid we loved it so much because it was storytelling,
- 56:07Speaker 1: yeah for sure, and you could follow it easy. Bro.
- 56:10Speaker 1: When I heard Snoop's version of Lottie Dottie, like I
- 56:13Speaker 1: didn't even know there was a slick Rick version at
- 56:14Speaker 1: the time, I was like fucking in kindergarten. Yeah, when
- 56:17Speaker 1: he did it with yeah it's crazy, I was like,
- 56:19Speaker 1: and then I heard the slick rick, I'm like, this
- 56:21Speaker 1: ship is whack. Yeah, Snoop one is the one, right,
- 56:24Speaker 1: But because it's the one I listened I heard, I like,
- 56:26Speaker 1: I knew that one. Yeah, it's crazy. Snoop is one
- 56:30Speaker 1: of them ones. Man. It was like I got to
- 56:32Speaker 1: see Snoop once and smoke with him, and you know,
- 56:35Speaker 1: I'm cool with his boy Cav. Shout out to my
- 56:37Speaker 1: guy Cav. But yeah, like Snoop, Snoops, Yeah, shout out
- 56:40Speaker 1: the cave. He'd be working out a ship too. What's
- 56:42Speaker 1: Snoop Now I've seen that. Yeah, man, I gotta get
- 56:45Speaker 1: in the gym, but I ain't going to unbreak up.
- 56:47Speaker 1: I can't afford it. Uh anyway, yo, wrapping up the
- 56:50Speaker 1: podcast Chevy Woods, go get his project, it's out and
