- 0:01Speaker 1: You're listening to Bill Handle on demand from kf I
- 0:04Speaker 1: AM six forty. We don't handle here.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Monday morning, November twenty four. Boy, what an interesting weekend.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Marjorie Taylor, Green Georgia congresswoman has gone from completely totally howling, barking, mad,
- 0:26Speaker 2: insane to actually kind of a reasonable, albeit very conservative
- 0:37Speaker 2: member of Congress. Now let me tell you how nuts
- 0:41Speaker 2: she was as just a very firm advocate. Matter of fact,
- 0:47Speaker 2: I would say, an advocate of Donald Trump much like
- 0:50Speaker 2: a dog heels you know it, you know, comes to
- 0:54Speaker 2: you when you call it, when you say, hey, come
- 0:56Speaker 2: on over, and that is she came into Congress and
- 1:01Speaker 2: she well, let me put some of the stuff that
- 1:05Speaker 2: she talked about, I mean openly openly, one of them being,
- 1:10Speaker 2: of course, the fact that the election was stolen. Huge
- 1:15Speaker 2: advocate of that. Now you know that's not realistic. The
- 1:19Speaker 2: election was not stolen. But if you are a supporter
- 1:24Speaker 2: of Donald Trump to the point where you're willing to
- 1:26Speaker 2: put yourself in front of a bullet for him, then
- 1:29Speaker 2: you're going to argue that the election was stolen. By
- 1:32Speaker 2: the way, that started with Donald Trump saying the election
- 1:35Speaker 2: was stolen, no one had said anything about the election
- 1:37Speaker 2: being stolen until he started it, all right, so now,
- 1:41Speaker 2: fair enough, elections stolen, I disagree. But then we went
- 1:47Speaker 2: into QAnon that the shootings in US schools were staged.
- 1:55Speaker 1: None of those shootings were real.
- 1:57Speaker 2: They have hired actors and kids to enact the fact
- 2:02Speaker 2: that they that they were shot. Also alleging that the
- 2:06Speaker 2: Democratic Party was secretly run by a group of powerful pedophiles. Okay,
- 2:14Speaker 2: now that crosses the line in terms of nuts, isn't it.
- 2:18Speaker 2: And then one of my favorites is the wildfire in
- 2:21Speaker 2: California's in the forests of California were actually created by
- 2:28Speaker 2: or set off by laser beams that came in from satellites.
- 2:34Speaker 2: That the Rothschild's family one of the premieer wealthiest families
- 2:39Speaker 2: in the world. I mean, they're a European family. They
- 2:42Speaker 2: used to loan money to governments. I mean, that's how
- 2:45Speaker 2: wealthy they are. That the rothstyle family, which I don't
- 2:48Speaker 2: understand what has to do with California, no idea. But
- 2:52Speaker 2: the fires were set by them somehow grabbing the laser
- 2:57Speaker 2: beams from satellites. Okay, that's pretty nuts, isn't it. And
- 3:02Speaker 2: then she started going the other way and had some
- 3:06Speaker 2: real problems. And keep in mind, when anybody goes against
- 3:10Speaker 2: the president in the Republican Party on anything, that person
- 3:15Speaker 2: is immediately a traitor and is in violation of adhering
- 3:21Speaker 2: to the Constitution of the United States. Donald Trump is
- 3:24Speaker 2: the Constitution. The Constitution is Donald Trump. And here's what
- 3:30Speaker 2: she said. She was upset about his emphasis on foreign
- 3:34Speaker 2: policy at the expense of addressing economic and affordability concerns.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Affordability.
- 3:41Speaker 2: That language has just come up in the last couple
- 3:43Speaker 2: of weeks with Trump administration. Prior to that, it was
- 3:49Speaker 2: prices are down, prices have lowered. Memory came into office
- 3:55Speaker 2: saying I'm going to lower prices, going to be half
- 3:56Speaker 2: of what they were day one. Okay, well that's obviously hyperbole,
- 4:01Speaker 2: that's obviously a political claim. But he kept on looking
- 4:04Speaker 2: the American people in the eye and saying, prices are down.
- 4:09Speaker 2: You are not paying as much for prices. You simply aren't.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Wait a sec I've just gone to the grocery store
- 4:18Speaker 2: and I'm paying more than I did a week ago.
- 4:21Speaker 1: No, you're not. Prices are down. Well, that is gone now.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Now the issue the language is affordability. That is now
- 4:32Speaker 2: the new mantra of the president and read the Republican
- 4:37Speaker 2: Party who works in lockstep with the president. That's just
- 4:43Speaker 2: the way it goes. You know, the president completely owns
- 4:46Speaker 2: the Republican Party. I've never seen it like this, and
- 4:49Speaker 2: so she was not very happy with that. Probably two
- 4:54Speaker 2: of the biggest issues was the Epstein file. Trump ran
- 5:00Speaker 2: on release the Epstein file, release the Epstein file.
- 5:03Speaker 1: We have to see the Epstein file.
- 5:05Speaker 2: And then he becomes president and all of a sudden
- 5:08Speaker 2: is don't release the Epstein file. We can't release the
- 5:11Speaker 2: Epstein file. It's already being investigated by Congress. That's Mike
- 5:15Speaker 2: Johnson saying how the Epstein file should not be released
- 5:18Speaker 2: by the Department of Justice. Pam Bondi, vociferous defender of
- 5:25Speaker 2: Donald Trump when the Epstein files were in the hands
- 5:29Speaker 2: of the Biden administration, got to release. You gotta release,
- 5:32Speaker 2: you gotta release. She now says, Well, I have him
- 5:35Speaker 2: on my desk and I'm going to look at him. Well,
- 5:39Speaker 2: how about releasing them. Well, I have him on my
- 5:41Speaker 2: desk and I'm looking. I'm looking at them, and we'll
- 5:44Speaker 2: release them at some later date. And then the vote
- 5:48Speaker 2: went berserk. I mean the President just lost. You cannot
- 5:51Speaker 2: argue to hide those Epstein files, and he had to.
- 5:55Speaker 1: He had to cave.
- 5:56Speaker 2: He had to come down and say, Okay, we'll release
- 5:59Speaker 2: because the argument is going to be if he kept
- 6:01Speaker 2: on saying I'm not going to release or getting in
- 6:04Speaker 2: the way of releasing, and his Republicans voted for or
- 6:09Speaker 2: backed up his position not to release the Epstein files.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Now you have Democrats running against those congressmen and senators
- 6:17Speaker 2: saying you are supporting pedophiles, you are covering up information
- 6:24Speaker 2: about pedophiles trafficking minor children. So all of a sudden,
- 6:31Speaker 2: guess what, Oh, we're going to release accept except Pam
- 6:36Speaker 2: Bondi has opened up an investigation into Democratic han shows
- 6:41Speaker 2: like Larry Summers and Bill Clinton, which means that you
- 6:44Speaker 2: don't have to release anything that's under investigation. We'll see
- 6:47Speaker 2: what happens. Now, we don't know when they're going to
- 6:50Speaker 2: be released. We don't know how many are going to release.
- 6:51Speaker 2: That's up in the air. So she Marjorie Taylor Green
- 6:56Speaker 2: At a real problem with that. She also had a
- 6:59Speaker 2: real problem with the expansion of Obamacare, the subsidies to
- 7:05Speaker 2: keep Obamacare subsidy, the policy to keep the Obamacare subsidies
- 7:10Speaker 2: in place that are those retire those end at the
- 7:14Speaker 2: end of this year, and you have the Democrats saying
- 7:17Speaker 2: we have to extend them, matter of fact, permanently in
- 7:21Speaker 2: many cases, and the Trump administration basically said nope. And
- 7:26Speaker 2: the shutdown was over that issue. The Republicans said, you
- 7:31Speaker 2: can give us the government keep on going, and we'll
- 7:34Speaker 2: talk about those extensions at a later time. Can't tell
- 7:39Speaker 2: you when, but we'll talk about it at a later time.
- 7:43Speaker 2: And the Democrats caved, and she got really really upset
- 7:46Speaker 2: about that because she has family members that are on
- 7:50Speaker 2: Obamacare that were going to lose their insurance. And we're
- 7:53Speaker 2: talking about in the twenty million people range that are
- 7:58Speaker 2: going to be priced out of insurance. In some cases
- 8:01Speaker 2: a premiums will double double at least. And so the Republicans,
- 8:07Speaker 2: under the tutelage of Donald Trump, basically said the opening
- 8:11Speaker 2: the government is more important than anything else, which is
- 8:13Speaker 2: an argument.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I'll buy that.
- 8:14Speaker 2: But there was no negotiation whatsoever, and the Democrats caved
- 8:19Speaker 2: after a thirty eight day or thirty nine day or
- 8:21Speaker 2: was it a forty day shutdown, which has never happened
- 8:23Speaker 2: in the history of the United States. And so you
- 8:26Speaker 2: put all of this together, and all of a sudden
- 8:29Speaker 2: you have a supporter of the president that says, wait
- 8:32Speaker 2: a minute, you know that's not good and came out
- 8:35Speaker 2: against them, and of course that means she's a trader.
- 8:38Speaker 2: And she resigned because she was going to lose because
- 8:41Speaker 2: the president would have primaried her out, because the president
- 8:45Speaker 2: decides who is going to lose and who is going
- 8:47Speaker 2: to win in the Republican party, and that's exactly what happens.
- 8:51Speaker 2: So she resigned because she didn't want to get into
- 8:53Speaker 2: that battle. She was probably gonna lose, by the way,
- 8:57Speaker 2: because if you're a Republican, you go go against this president,
- 9:01Speaker 2: you're done. And then the issue that came up with
- 9:05Speaker 2: the those five Congress people saying to armed forces, you
- 9:10Speaker 2: don't have to follow illegal rules, and in one case,
- 9:14Speaker 2: you cannot follow illegal rules of engagement. And the president
- 9:19Speaker 2: of course ripped into them, wants the death penalty, treason,
- 9:22Speaker 2: all of it. And here's where we are with this administration.
- 9:27Speaker 2: When a member of the military or a member of
- 9:30Speaker 2: Congress is sworn into Congress, you swear loyalty to the president,
- 9:35Speaker 2: not to the Constitution. We've done that a few times
- 9:38Speaker 2: this last century where you swear fealty and loyalty to
- 9:42Speaker 2: a person and not to the laws of the land.
- 9:45Speaker 2: And it kills me that the Republicans are on the line. Yeah, yep,
- 9:50Speaker 2: Donald Trump is the Constitution. The Constitution is Donald Trump.
- 9:53Speaker 2: So Marjorie Taylor Green is out and well.
- 9:57Speaker 1: We'll see you. Yeah, she's still gonna be a big voice.
- 9:59Speaker 2: All right, real quickly, there's a story out of USA
- 10:04Speaker 2: today that tells us or is effectively saying that nursing
- 10:10Speaker 2: is not a professional degree, or at least is for
- 10:15Speaker 2: a student, is not a professional degree. This has to
- 10:18Speaker 2: do with not definition of nursing. Of course, that's not
- 10:22Speaker 2: only a degree, that's a license. However, according to the
- 10:28Speaker 2: federal definitions, and this is in regard to loans, according
- 10:33Speaker 2: to loans that you borrow from the government or their
- 10:37Speaker 2: government subsidized federal loans, nursing is not part of those
- 10:43Speaker 2: license procedures that they'll back up. It's not a professional degree.
- 10:47Speaker 2: But wait a minute, how can it not be a
- 10:49Speaker 2: professional degree? Well, that's the list, hey, right there, that's
- 10:54Speaker 2: the list. There's a nineteen sixty five federal law that
- 10:59Speaker 2: defines a professional degree and by the way it exactly
- 11:04Speaker 2: defines exactly what a professional degree is.
- 11:07Speaker 1: No one's going to argue that.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Nursing is excluded from that list, saying, no, we don't
- 11:15Speaker 2: think that that is a degree. That is you know,
- 11:20Speaker 2: that is part of what we allow on federal funding. Now,
- 11:25Speaker 2: there are a list pharmacy, dentistry, veterinary medicine, chiropractic, law, shocker, medicine, optometry,
- 11:34Speaker 2: goes on and on, and nursing is.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Not part of that list.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Well, in a letter from the Office of post Secondary
- 11:43Speaker 2: Education and the American Council Education saying we've got to
- 11:47Speaker 2: change that definition.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Guys.
- 11:50Speaker 2: We have to add more programs that are defined as
- 11:54Speaker 2: professionally licensed professional degrees so these people who are in
- 11:59Speaker 2: school can borrow money, because there's a huge difference as
- 12:04Speaker 2: to the amount of money that a student can borrow
- 12:08Speaker 2: in a license program or one that is recognized by
- 12:11Speaker 2: the government.
- 12:12Speaker 1: And one that is not.
- 12:14Speaker 2: And right now the nursing program is not considered a
- 12:19Speaker 2: what is called a professional degree. Now you still to
- 12:22Speaker 2: be a nurse, you still have to be an RN,
- 12:24Speaker 2: you still have to be licensed, you still have to
- 12:27Speaker 2: take exams. It's come on, guys, how can nursing not
- 12:33Speaker 2: be one of these degrees. Well, it fell through the cracks,
- 12:36Speaker 2: and right now there are all kinds of discussions in
- 12:41Speaker 2: these student loan caps. Under the Big Beautiful Bill is
- 12:45Speaker 2: with drastically reduces the amount of money students can borrow.
- 12:52Speaker 1: It's going down, not up. And of course you've.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Got these professional organizations. Nursing is socia students who are
- 13:02Speaker 2: borrowing money and can't borrow anywhere near the amount of
- 13:05Speaker 2: money that one can borrow for medical school, which of
- 13:09Speaker 2: course is insane law school, which I tell people, what
- 13:13Speaker 2: are you doing in law school? You really want to
- 13:15Speaker 2: be a lawyer? You're out of your mind? All it's
- 13:18Speaker 2: these are real license de grease. But so is nursing. Well,
- 13:23Speaker 2: and you know, am I blaming the Trump administration for
- 13:25Speaker 2: doing this purposely? No? I think this fell in the cracks,
- 13:29Speaker 2: fell through the cracks, and under the Big Beautiful Bill
- 13:32Speaker 2: it still fell through the cracks.
- 13:33Speaker 1: And do I imagine they won't straighten this out?
- 13:37Speaker 2: It can't be okay, Now air taxis are here, right,
- 13:42Speaker 2: we knew it was happening. Days of the Jetsons are here.
- 13:46Speaker 2: As a matter of fact, As a kid, I remember
- 13:50Speaker 2: somehow we were going to view what the future was
- 13:53Speaker 2: going to be. Like, everybody's going to work a thirty
- 13:55Speaker 2: hour week, and we were going to all have hobbies
- 13:58Speaker 2: and make fortunes, and everybody great homes and air taxis
- 14:01Speaker 2: and we'd all be running around in flying cars. Well,
- 14:06Speaker 2: the money and the work hours and all that that
- 14:09Speaker 2: didn't happen. But air taxis, Yeah, yeah, we're literally right
- 14:13Speaker 2: on the hub. A couple of companies are already really
- 14:17Speaker 2: at the head of the crowd here. Archer Aviation just
- 14:22Speaker 2: bought Hawthorn Airport for one hundred and twenty six million dollars.
- 14:27Speaker 2: It's going to be a hub for electric air taxis
- 14:29Speaker 2: and testing, and it's a couple of other companies are
- 14:33Speaker 2: right there too, trying to move ahead. Now, a word
- 14:37Speaker 2: or two about air taxis. Are they a wave of
- 14:39Speaker 2: the future, Of.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Course they are. Are we really close technologically?
- 14:45Speaker 2: We may be, but as far as just getting the
- 14:48Speaker 2: permitting process and going through the bureaucracy. Have you noticed
- 14:53Speaker 2: here in southern California you don't see helicopters buzzing from
- 14:57Speaker 2: place to place. There are some very highly placed executives
- 15:03Speaker 2: and some very wealthy people that would like to go
- 15:05Speaker 2: from a to b and they can't take helicopters, so
- 15:09Speaker 2: they're stuck in the same traffic that we are stuck.
- 15:12Speaker 2: And they would love to take helicopters, would love it,
- 15:15Speaker 2: certainly have the money, and local ordinance don't allow it now.
- 15:21Speaker 2: That's because there's too much traffic up there, and there's
- 15:24Speaker 2: a safety issue, and there's a noise issue.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Well with air taxis.
- 15:29Speaker 2: How many air taxies you think are going to be
- 15:31Speaker 2: up in the air when this thing starts moving and
- 15:34Speaker 2: the noise people complained about the noise.
- 15:36Speaker 1: This is electric. There's not gonna be any noise.
- 15:38Speaker 2: These are electric powered air taxi because battery technology has
- 15:42Speaker 2: gotten to that point. And this is one area where
- 15:46Speaker 2: California is really ahead of the game, you know, technologically.
- 15:50Speaker 2: We've been saying this one of the upsides of living
- 15:53Speaker 2: in California is the techno world, the aerospace world, and
- 15:57Speaker 2: that's certainly the case when it comes to these air taxis,
- 16:01Speaker 2: these EVTL taxis Electric Vertical takeoff then landing or OH
- 16:10Speaker 2: landing anyway, they're basically helicopters, but they're not. They have
- 16:16Speaker 2: that They look like drones. They look like giant drones
- 16:18Speaker 2: is what they look like. And they're very easy to drive,
- 16:22Speaker 2: to fly, and they can be programmed. Now, when we
- 16:27Speaker 2: start moving into the world of air taxis, the world
- 16:30Speaker 2: is going to be a lot easier to live in.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Going from A to B will be a lot easier.
- 16:35Speaker 2: As a matter of fact, if you're on the freeway,
- 16:38Speaker 2: which of course is gridlock, gridlock, gridlock, that's going to
- 16:42Speaker 2: all disappear when it's autonomous cars, when it's self driving cars,
- 16:48Speaker 2: because the technology today allows the car to be two
- 16:53Speaker 2: feet behind another car at sixty five miles an hour
- 16:57Speaker 2: and there won't be any breaking. The whole computers system
- 17:01Speaker 2: that runs that will run this transit system be able
- 17:03Speaker 2: to figure out cars going in and out of lanes
- 17:06Speaker 2: and it'll be flawless. Well, the same things that happen
- 17:09Speaker 2: with our taxi is accept you're sort of in the
- 17:12Speaker 2: air and for some reason, well we know the reason
- 17:17Speaker 2: is that when you're on an airplane you feel out
- 17:19Speaker 2: of control. I mean, how many people think of going down?
- 17:22Speaker 2: I think of an airplane crashing? And do you ever
- 17:26Speaker 2: think of the plane going down when you're flying? No? Oh,
- 17:29Speaker 2: you're comfortable flying, amy, do you ever think of the
- 17:31Speaker 2: plane going down all the time? See cono absolutely, okay.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Will do you ever think of a plane going down
- 17:41Speaker 2: from flying a lot in the past, Yes, yeah, okay.
- 17:44Speaker 2: And I think of the plane going down too. As
- 17:46Speaker 2: a matter of fact, George Norri, who of course does
- 17:49Speaker 2: the overnights and talks to talks to ghosts, etc. He
- 17:54Speaker 2: and I have been on the same flight a few
- 17:55Speaker 2: times from La to Las Vegas. We just happened to
- 17:58Speaker 2: be on the same flight and we sat next to
- 17:59Speaker 2: each other and we were both discussing who gets higher
- 18:03Speaker 2: billing when the plane goes down? Who gets first billing?
- 18:08Speaker 2: Is it George Norri and me? Or is it me
- 18:11Speaker 2: and George Norri or is it George Norri and an
- 18:14Speaker 2: unidentified talk show host.
- 18:17Speaker 1: The point is, we think about it now.
- 18:19Speaker 2: How many times going on the freeway sixty five miles
- 18:22Speaker 2: an hour do you think of getting into a car
- 18:23Speaker 2: crash and dying? You don't, No one does, because we're
- 18:29Speaker 2: so used to it. Well, that's going to happen in
- 18:31Speaker 2: the world of air taxis eventually, but air taxis are
- 18:35Speaker 2: here now. They're pretending that some air taxis will be
- 18:40Speaker 2: up and flying during the Olympic Games. That will never
- 18:43Speaker 2: happen because we're way, way decades.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Away from actually having it happen.
- 18:49Speaker 2: And I'm not even talking about the technology of it,
- 18:52Speaker 2: because when you look at drone technologies, just expand that
- 18:55Speaker 2: by one hundred times or eighty times. And the technologies
- 18:59Speaker 2: I said with bad I mean there are some issues
- 19:02Speaker 2: because they have to fly around and you can't plug
- 19:04Speaker 2: in a battery for six hours and they have it
- 19:07Speaker 2: fly for half an hour. I mean, there's some there's
- 19:10Speaker 2: some issues that have to be overcome, but certainly in
- 19:14Speaker 2: my lifetime. And if you listen to the show and
- 19:17Speaker 2: you're under one hundred, which is not too many people
- 19:20Speaker 2: in your lifetime, you will see air taxis up there. Yep,
- 19:25Speaker 2: the jetsons have arrived and yeah, and when they do crash,
- 19:30Speaker 2: oh man, that'll make go. The first few will be
- 19:34Speaker 2: above the fold front of the news broadcasts.
- 19:38Speaker 1: After that, eh, you know.
- 19:41Speaker 2: I mean, how many times do we mention people dying
- 19:43Speaker 2: in car accidents? Amy literally unless they are spectacular car accidents.
- 19:49Speaker 1: And there were some people today, Okay, you have mentioned them,
- 19:53Speaker 1: have you no? Because they they kind of happen all
- 19:56Speaker 1: the time. There you go, there, you go above the fold.
- 20:00Speaker 2: If you go down in a plane crash, do you
- 20:02Speaker 2: think they'll even mention your name, Amy.
- 20:05Speaker 1: No, they would mention yours first bill.
- 20:07Speaker 2: That is correct, that would be the newsperson for an
- 20:11Speaker 2: unidentified talk show on an unidentified radio station here in
- 20:17Speaker 2: an unidentified city in southern California. Okay, Target and Walmart.
- 20:24Speaker 2: You remember when Target used to be the end all
- 20:26Speaker 2: be all. Management was terrific. Target was growing like crazy,
- 20:29Speaker 2: and Walmart Walmart was Walmart. Let me tell you it
- 20:31Speaker 2: has turned around. Walmart is growing like crazy. Target is
- 20:36Speaker 2: going into the toilet.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Why is that.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Well, there's a couple of reasons. Target hasn't really changed
- 20:44Speaker 2: the way it does business. Walmart has. Walmart has figured
- 20:50Speaker 2: out that value is everything that customers want, less expensive items.
- 21:00Speaker 2: The cost of living is really high and getting higher,
- 21:04Speaker 2: and people were in a lot of trouble.
- 21:06Speaker 1: I mean, you know a lot of people.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Aren't eating the way they did, especially when you look
- 21:10Speaker 2: at the government shutdown and the food stamps, for example,
- 21:13Speaker 2: stopped for all of those weeks. It was it was,
- 21:18Speaker 2: it was terrible, and this was just an ongoing concern.
- 21:22Speaker 1: It's that simple.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Walmart US sales increased four and a half percent last quarter.
- 21:28Speaker 1: That's enormous.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Target dropped two point seven percent enormous.
- 21:34Speaker 1: So what is going on?
- 21:36Speaker 2: Well, here's a poll that was published by Fox News
- 21:38Speaker 2: this week. Seventy six percent of Americans have a negative
- 21:42Speaker 2: view of the economy.
- 21:44Speaker 1: In July it was sixty seven.
- 21:47Speaker 2: I mean it's gone up eleven points of the concern
- 21:51Speaker 2: of the economy.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Now.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Walmart has always offered low prices and it is sort
- 21:56Speaker 2: of the king of the everyday low price concept EDLP,
- 22:02Speaker 2: which means that it consistently offers low prices instead of
- 22:07Speaker 2: frequent sales. You don't see any sales at Walmart. What
- 22:09Speaker 2: you see is low prices every day, and you know
- 22:13Speaker 2: people buy it because it happens to be true. It
- 22:16Speaker 2: also has made strategic investments improve its brand reputation quality,
- 22:22Speaker 2: so quality has gone up. Prices still remain down or
- 22:28Speaker 2: low relative to other stores. Walmart was always known for
- 22:33Speaker 2: the sheep as prices, no question about it. However, it
- 22:36Speaker 2: was always known for the quality of its products being
- 22:39Speaker 2: sort of the bottom of the barrel. Well, they're moving up.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Target hasn't changed. Target is behind the times. Walmart is
- 22:46Speaker 2: remodeling stores like crazy. Target didn't do that. And the
- 22:52Speaker 2: other thing that Walmart is doing is strengthening the brands itself,
- 22:59Speaker 2: picking up higher priced brands and still selling them for
- 23:03Speaker 2: less money than is out there on the market. Target
- 23:09Speaker 2: I have had a reputation for selling cheap, chic home goods, clothing,
- 23:13Speaker 2: discretionary merchandise.
- 23:15Speaker 1: But you had a worse seeing appearance of.
- 23:18Speaker 2: The stores higher prices, and the slide started. And when
- 23:22Speaker 2: they start going downhill, it is hard to stop that
- 23:25Speaker 2: snowball rolling downhill. So it's you know, people gonna shop
- 23:32Speaker 2: at Walmart. And I never have shopped at Walmart because
- 23:36Speaker 2: there is no a Walmart near me. But the few
- 23:38Speaker 2: times that I have gone into Walmart, I have to
- 23:40Speaker 2: tell you, I remember I had I needed an extension court,
- 23:44Speaker 2: you know, a little crappy little extension cord six feet
- 23:47Speaker 2: eight feet, And figure.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Out right, I'm gonna go in there and go to
- 23:50Speaker 1: a hardware starre.
- 23:51Speaker 2: I'm gonna pay four or five bucks, and then I
- 23:53Speaker 2: go into a Walmart because they happened to be there
- 23:55Speaker 2: and pick one up.
- 23:56Speaker 1: It was a dollar eighty nine. It's the same product.
- 24:02Speaker 2: By the way, I go, WHOA Does that mean I
- 24:05Speaker 2: now shop at Walmart?
- 24:06Speaker 1: No?
- 24:07Speaker 2: No, it still too far away from me. They don't
- 24:10Speaker 2: have enough of them. They're not on every corner in
- 24:13Speaker 2: which they should be. All right, coming up, More Americans
- 24:17Speaker 2: are taking out riskier adjustable rate bank loans. Man, I've
- 24:22Speaker 2: had a thing about adjustable rate loans.
- 24:25Speaker 1: What.
- 24:26Speaker 2: No, what am I doing here? Oh no, eight o'clock right, yeah,
- 24:30Speaker 2: that's what I see. Tell me what's going on? And
- 24:32Speaker 2: we are going to talk about Postathon. No, I was
- 24:34Speaker 2: just about to say, but first we're gonna talk about Pastathon.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Oh sorry, I thought you had laps. No, I did not,
- 24:44Speaker 1: I did not. Okay.
- 24:46Speaker 2: More Americans are taking out adjustable rate home loans. I've
- 24:51Speaker 2: always had a thing about adjustable rate loans that I
- 24:54Speaker 2: want to share with you.
- 24:55Speaker 1: But first we're.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Going to talk about Postathon.
