Transcript
- 0:00I got a text the other day, but I'd made the contact go away,
- 0:05so I didn't know who it was. They wrote, how you doing?
- 0:08Check it in. I didn't even know where to begin, because I'd
- 0:12come off the killer of the buzz. I scrubbed the contacts from my phone,
- 0:17all the ones no longer known, all the ones no longer good to
- 0:21me when life got hard, and it does get hard. They're the easiest
- 0:26to discard because they were farther than the eye can see. So who was
- 0:31this texting me now, saying hello, asking me how I'm doing? Right
- 0:36on out of the blue. Someone maybe I judged too soon, someone who
- 0:41changed their tune. There was really only one thing I could do. Texted
- 0:46them, asking who is this joke? Ignorance isn't really bliss, felt silly?
- 0:52I must confess. Then I thought better forget him, forget her.
- 0:58I really just couldn't care less
