- 1:22Speaker 2: I mean, there's no bringing us down on a Thursday.
- 1:24Speaker 2: We've mentioned that before. It's hard to be in a
- 1:25Speaker 2: bad mood. It's easy to be in a bad mood
- 1:27Speaker 2: Monday or Tuesday. It's hard to be in a bad
- 1:29Speaker 2: mood Thursday or Friday.
- 1:31Speaker 8: You have no excuse.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Today, October 22nd, it's International Caps Lock Day.
- 1:35Speaker 5: Oh.
- 1:35Speaker 8: Don't get that stuck.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Yeah. Although, don't like that. Let's see. International Stuttering Awareness
- 1:42Speaker 2: Day is today.
- 1:43Speaker 9: Be aware.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Today's National Make a Dog's Day. Okay. Which I did
- 1:47Speaker 2: the other day because it was my dog's birthday.
- 1:49Speaker 10: Oh, yeah.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Did you have a fillet? I grilled her a steak.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I went with a New York strip this time. Oh,
- 1:55Speaker 2: I bet she loved it. So I was eyeballing all
- 1:56Speaker 2: the steaks that were at the store, and I thought
- 1:58Speaker 2: that one popped out. That was the best-looking steak.
- 2:01Speaker 8: You did the right thing.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Fillets are.
- 2:03Speaker 2: It was nice and it had a nice thick ribbon
- 2:08Speaker 2: of what you would say flavor. Oh, God.
- 2:11Speaker 9: On there.
- 2:11Speaker 2: I know she would dig that.
- 2:12Speaker 8: Does it even touch her tongue? Does she swallow it whole?
- 2:15Speaker 1: Well, no.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I mean, it's a full-on New York strip.
- 2:17Speaker 8: Dogs don't appreciate it while they're eating.
- 2:19Speaker 2: I do cut it up. I do cut it up.
- 2:21Speaker 2: She actually seemed to be enjoying it more than she
- 2:23Speaker 2: would like other things that we give her. Oh, I'm sure.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Did you even chew that? Yeah. Today's National Nut Day.
- 2:28Speaker 2: It is Scar Appreciation Day.
- 2:31Speaker 8: All right.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:32Speaker 8: I appreciate it.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Anybody here got any cool scars?
- 2:36Speaker 5: I got one on my thumb from when I was
- 2:39Speaker 5: a kid. I got it caught in a radio flyer wagon.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Oh, yeah?
- 2:43Speaker 5: And it, like, stripped off all the skin on top
- 2:45Speaker 5: of my thumb.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Is your wiener scarred from that surgery you had to
- 2:47Speaker 2: have for your kidney stones or whatever?
- 2:50Speaker 3: No.
- 2:50Speaker 9: It looks good.
- 2:51Speaker 2: It looks good? Hold on.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Show Greg.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I can tell you scars. Hold on.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Let me see.
- 2:56Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:57Speaker 2: And CBass today, smart is cool day. As is every day.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Smart is cool. Super cool.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Um, so these are considered peak male experiences. Let's see
- 3:08Speaker 2: if you agree.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Male. M-A-L-E.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Yeah. For dudes.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Okay.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Like, uh, and I, I was, uh, I was looking
- 3:15Speaker 2: over there. I'm like, yeah, you know what? That does
- 3:17Speaker 2: make a, owning your first, owning your first car.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Oh God.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 3:20Speaker 10: Right.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Like everybody remembers.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Like the ultimate fantasy.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Yeah. Uh, randomly realizing this is the woman you will
- 3:28Speaker 2: marry or guy that you will marry.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Right, Greg?
- 3:31Speaker 11: Sure.
- 3:31Speaker 3: That's a good, I mean, this is peak male experiences.
- 3:36Speaker 2: According to Elle magazine?
- 3:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:39Speaker 2: It's just something I saw and I'm like, you know what?
- 3:40Speaker 2: Because I can remember each and every one of these things.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I do remember that moment like with Jen.
- 3:46Speaker 8: You had that moment.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:47Speaker 5: He said that moment twice though.
- 3:48Speaker 3: What's that?
- 3:49Speaker 2: How special could it be? He had it twice. Yeah,
- 3:51Speaker 2: but the second one made me realize how wrong I
- 3:53Speaker 2: had it the first one.
- 3:54Speaker 8: My husband said he also had that moment. Did I
- 3:57Speaker 8: have that moment? I don't know if I remember.
- 3:58Speaker 2: You did.
- 4:00Speaker 8: I am going to marry that person.
- 4:02Speaker 5: Yeah, you're reading Cosmopolitan. And you open it up.
- 4:06Speaker 2: And you're like, what? This one happened recently. Becoming successful
- 4:12Speaker 2: with your childhood friends. So I was having a conversation
- 4:14Speaker 2: with him. Remember I told you, I showed you the
- 4:16Speaker 2: picture of that car that he bought, Greg?
- 4:18Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 4:19Speaker 2: And now this is the guy.
- 4:20Speaker 3: He had dreamt of it his whole life.
- 4:21Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 4:22Speaker 2: He was my best friend growing up. And we were
- 4:24Speaker 2: the two, you know, quote, troublemakers. We shouldn't be hanging
- 4:26Speaker 2: out together. We're both going to be losers and never
- 4:28Speaker 2: make anything. He's a lawyer and he's done extremely well.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I've turned out OK.
- 4:33Speaker 8: You landed on your feet.
- 4:33Speaker 2: And so, like, as I was talking to him recently,
- 4:35Speaker 2: I'm like, man, that's kind of cool.
- 4:36Speaker 3: That is very cool.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought that was cool. Your sports team winning
- 4:40Speaker 2: a title.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Oh, I have cried at that.
- 4:43Speaker 5: I feel like that's super cool when you're a kid.
- 4:45Speaker 2: No, it's super cool as an adult.
- 4:46Speaker 3: I think it gets more exciting now.
- 4:48Speaker 8: I've never seen a grown man cry over a game.
- 4:51Speaker 3: I've cried over wins and losses.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Not cry.
- 4:53Speaker 3: I have cried.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Not cry, but I mean, just like that feeling. The
- 4:56Speaker 2: celebration is fun. Yeah, super cool. First heartbreak. that'll get
- 5:00Speaker 2: anybody I can't even I've lost count yeah peak male
- 5:03Speaker 2: experiences like you remember that but it's not peak.
- 5:06Speaker 8: Well it's historical it might not be like.
- 5:07Speaker 12: Fun it's like most memorable memorable okay we're changing watching
- 5:11Speaker 12: your kid.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Grow aw boring giving back to your parents super cool
- 5:16Speaker 2: I do that's always good yeah like that that really
- 5:19Speaker 2: does it for me like I do enjoy that when
- 5:22Speaker 2: I'm able to do things for you know my parents
- 5:26Speaker 2: finally understanding your father Would you say that you understand
- 5:30Speaker 2: your father, Greg?
- 5:31Speaker 3: Kind of.
- 5:32Speaker 2: I don't know if that ever really happens.
- 5:33Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Maybe it's just a generational thing. Maybe my son will
- 5:37Speaker 2: understand me better than people our age, Greg, understood our
- 5:41Speaker 2: fathers or our fathers with their grandfathers. I think our
- 5:46Speaker 2: fathers were maybe the first generation to ever say I
- 5:48Speaker 2: love you to their kids. Before that, you would always
- 5:50Speaker 2: hear about how dad's never really said I love you.
- 5:53Speaker 8: Dad was a proud man, but we knew it.
- 5:57Speaker 5: I don't think we've ever done that.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Really, with your dad? Your dad has never said I
- 6:01Speaker 2: love you? No, what the hell for? Because he doesn't
- 6:03Speaker 2: have a mangina. Yeah, exactly.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Really?
- 6:05Speaker 2: Wow.
- 6:06Speaker 8: That explains a lot.
- 6:07Speaker 2: It never comes up, you know, on account of men.
- 6:09Speaker 11: Well, this doesn't surprise you. I grew up like that, too.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Really?
- 6:11Speaker 10: With your dad?
- 6:12Speaker 11: Yeah. Uh, yeah, I re I remember the first time
- 6:14Speaker 11: my dad said he loved me. I think I was
- 6:16Speaker 11: like 10.
- 6:17Speaker 2: And you stayed off the pole this entire time.
- 6:19Speaker 3: That's incredible.
- 6:20Speaker 11: And then again, like when my grampy died, right. My
- 6:22Speaker 11: parents were all emotional and I was like, Oh, there's
- 6:24Speaker 11: the second time. Um, And they were like, yeah, like
- 6:29Speaker 11: 10 years apart each. And it's a little different now.
- 6:33Speaker 11: They'll say it more, but no, they never did. And
- 6:35Speaker 11: it was one of those things where it was mom
- 6:38Speaker 11: and dad. And I don't actually don't even remember when
- 6:40Speaker 11: I was saying it.
- 6:42Speaker 8: Wait a second.
- 6:44Speaker 11: And it was one of those things where, Oh, They
- 6:47Speaker 11: would make fun of people who were like, oh, I
- 6:49Speaker 11: love you.
- 6:49Speaker 8: I love you.
- 6:50Speaker 11: Every time they hung up the phone and stuff like that.
- 6:52Speaker 11: And they were like, well, we don't have to say it.
- 6:53Speaker 11: We just know.
- 6:54Speaker 2: And that's how I grew up. I like that. And
- 6:57Speaker 2: you're super close with your family. So it didn't really.
- 6:59Speaker 8: She's constantly yearning for that love.
- 7:01Speaker 11: Well, that's what I'm saying is the love was there
- 7:03Speaker 11: and you don't have to say it.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Yeah. Thank you. Okay.
- 7:05Speaker 11: Because it was kind of like it loses its meaning
- 7:07Speaker 11: if you say it too much.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I will agree with that. I have a friend that
- 7:09Speaker 3: does that. Every other word. And it's like, okay.
- 7:12Speaker 2: We get it. Joe Coy?
- 7:14Speaker 10: No.
- 7:14Speaker 2: I'm thinking of somebody very different. Yeah, because he always
- 7:17Speaker 2: says that too. He's like, I love you. I love you.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Say it. Say it.
- 7:20Speaker 2: He's tried that crap on me. It never works. All right.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Birthday time. Time for your birthdays and your porno birthday.
- 7:30Speaker 3: It's your birthday.
- 7:32Speaker 2: We're going to party like it's your birthday. We're going
- 7:34Speaker 2: to sip a toddy like it's your birthday.
- 7:37Speaker 3: And you know we don't give a.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Fuck because it's your birthday. Does it mean you have
- 7:40Speaker 2: cancer if your face just starts randomly bleeding?
- 7:43Speaker 1: Yes.
- 7:43Speaker 8: God, I hope not.
- 7:44Speaker 2: You got zits?
- 7:45Speaker 8: Maybe you have like a cyst.
- 7:46Speaker 2: I just had like a little itch and then I
- 7:48Speaker 2: looked in my hand like there's blood there.
- 7:50Speaker 5: You probably know that, yeah.
- 7:51Speaker 2: A little zit. A little UTI or something. Not cancer?
- 7:54Speaker 2: Maybe not.
- 7:55Speaker 3: I think it probably is.
- 7:56Speaker 10: Probably.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Greg and I always have the same reaction.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Oh, great. It's cancer.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Celebrity birthdays. Happy birthday to Doc Brown, Christopher Lloyd.
- 8:05Speaker 1: What?
- 8:06Speaker 2: Dude, what a cool birthday for him this year. 88.
- 8:09Speaker 2: 88 miles an hour. That's how fast the DeLorean had
- 8:12Speaker 2: to go to travel through time. Hey, look, I met him.
- 8:14Speaker 2: I can tell you. He's boring. Well, that's all right.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I have half a second. Bob Odenkirk from Breaking Bad.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Better call Saul. Yep, he's 64. Jeff Goldblum is 74
- 8:25Speaker 2: years old today.
- 8:26Speaker 10: Yes.
- 8:26Speaker 2: He played Mitchell on Modern Family. Jesse Tyler Ferguson is 51.
- 8:31Speaker 2: He was Roseanne's son, DJ. Michael Fishman. is 45. Shaggy
- 8:38Speaker 2: is 58. Jonathan Lipnicki, who was in Jerry Maguire, he
- 8:41Speaker 2: was a little boy, Ray Boyd. The human head weighs however.
- 8:46Speaker 2: He's 36 years old today. Zach Hansen from the band
- 8:50Speaker 2: Hansen is 41. Ichiro Suzuki, the former Major League Baseball All-Star.
- 8:55Speaker 2: I just saw something. He's still playing, I think.
- 8:57Speaker 5: He's playing exhibition games, and I think he's killing it.
- 9:00Speaker 2: He pitches, too.
- 9:01Speaker 5: I'll have to look this up.
- 9:02Speaker 12: I think he struck out like 150 women in a row?
- 9:05Speaker 2: What? Is that right? I just saw that he had
- 9:08Speaker 2: some baller game here recently. He was killing it. He's
- 9:12Speaker 2: 53 years old.
- 9:13Speaker 12: 52-year-old each. Well, at that time, 52 pitch. 127 pitch
- 9:16Speaker 12: shutout versus the all-star girls team.
- 9:18Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 9:20Speaker 2: That's something to be laughing about as a feminist, Seabass.
- 9:21Speaker 2: It's surprising. I know. As the lead feminist on the show.
- 9:24Speaker 5: I laugh because I can't cry.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Your porno birthday is Alexis Monroe. In today's birthday girl,
- 9:30Speaker 2: she has seen more balls than a major league umpire.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Nice.
- 9:33Speaker 2: 346 fine films, including Sexy Time in San Francisco. She
- 9:38Speaker 2: was in The Great American Slut Off, Volumes 1 through 3.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Evil Anal, Volume 20.
- 9:44Speaker 10: Nice.
- 9:45Speaker 2: She was in five floozy females effing for fun. She
- 9:49Speaker 2: was in her ass is so nice and big for
- 9:51Speaker 2: a white girl. Also load my mouth. Volume two. I
- 9:56Speaker 2: had to say that one carefully. And then who can
- 9:57Speaker 2: forget her unforgettable role in the Halloween thriller? nightmare on
- 10:01Speaker 2: wank street. That's Alexis Monroe. It was 36 years old today.
- 10:07Speaker 2: And that is your porno birthday and your celebrity birthdays
- 10:10Speaker 2: here on the woody show. I love it. I love it.
- 10:13Speaker 10: I love it.
- 10:14Speaker 2: The woody show. Well, let's see what Greg Gorey has
- 10:20Speaker 2: for us. He's got the trending news headlines.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Well, we have something that might be life-changing for Gina.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Oh.
- 10:27Speaker 3: So if you've ever stayed at an Airbnb, you know
- 10:29Speaker 3: when it's time to leave, there's usually a chore list.
- 10:31Speaker 8: Oh, I become the housekeeper.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Strip the bed, do the laundry, take out the trash,
- 10:35Speaker 3: clean the place, even though you paid a cleaning fee.
- 10:36Speaker 13: Yep.
- 10:37Speaker 3: So that is going to end. Because Airbnb is banning
- 10:41Speaker 3: the chore list.
- 10:42Speaker 5: Yes!
- 10:42Speaker 3: And checkout is supposed to be a lot easier. So
- 10:45Speaker 3: under their new policy, hosts are expected to keep checkout
- 10:47Speaker 3: instructions reasonable.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Why were you ever expected to do that in the
- 10:50Speaker 2: first place?
- 10:51Speaker 8: Well, it's not just that. You also pay a cleaning
- 10:54Speaker 8: fee and do all the cleaning.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Again, my question, why would you ever be expected to
- 10:58Speaker 2: do that in the first place?
- 10:59Speaker 5: Yeah, that has been my experience.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 11:02Speaker 5: I've never had a chore list.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Really?
- 11:05Speaker 8: They don't say just... No problem. Just strip the beds,
- 11:07Speaker 8: put everything in the bathtub and just run the dishwasher.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:10Speaker 8: I don't know where you're saying super fancy ones.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Do you have to do the laundry? Like wash the sheets?
- 11:16Speaker 8: No, they'll say like, you know, put them in the
- 11:18Speaker 8: washing machine. We don't have to start it or gather
- 11:21Speaker 8: them out on the bed and, you know, put them
- 11:22Speaker 8: on the floor. And it's like, oh, always take your
- 11:25Speaker 8: trash with you. There's a dumpster a mile down. I mean,
- 11:28Speaker 8: this is very normal. Even just on my account, I've
- 11:31Speaker 8: booked 19 trips. And those are the ones, those aren't
- 11:34Speaker 8: even the ones I just went on with other people.
- 11:36Speaker 8: So I have paid so much money for housekeeping and
- 11:38Speaker 8: done all of their laundry.
- 11:40Speaker 9: Okay.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Someone who's never stayed in an Airbnb. I have no
- 11:42Speaker 2: interest really in staying any. How does the key situation work?
- 11:46Speaker 8: It's usually a touch or yeah.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Touch. Like, you know, like a digital keypad.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:51Speaker 2: I was always like, How do they do that? Like
- 11:53Speaker 2: just leave the key under a rock somewhere?
- 11:55Speaker 8: Well, and I love Airbnbs because, you know, if you
- 11:58Speaker 8: don't want to be at a hotel, it's a little
- 11:59Speaker 8: more privacy or you get, you know, to go stay
- 12:01Speaker 8: at a cabin or something. And I love that. But
- 12:03Speaker 8: this is game changing.
- 12:04Speaker 2: I don't like staying at people's homes. Also, I assume
- 12:06Speaker 2: that they have the whole place outfitted with cameras. They're
- 12:08Speaker 2: watching you. Oh, they for sure do. They for sure do.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Then I started hearing about this kind of stuff where
- 12:15Speaker 2: it's like you're expected to– strip the beds and do
- 12:18Speaker 2: the dishes. I'm like, why would I do that?
- 12:20Speaker 8: Take out the trash. In fact, before I book one,
- 12:22Speaker 8: I'll say like, what's your chore list?
- 12:24Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 12:25Speaker 8: Because I need to know in advance.
- 12:26Speaker 3: So that's kind of the new policy. Airbnb has to
- 12:29Speaker 3: let guests know in advance of what is required.
- 12:32Speaker 5: I get it because they want to, you know, dock
- 12:35Speaker 5: things and like yeah so when you.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Stay in hotels now it's like almost a treat if
- 12:41Speaker 2: the you know housekeeping comes in and makes the bed
- 12:45Speaker 2: because it's not an automatic thing the way it used
- 12:47Speaker 2: to be used to be every day they would come
- 12:50Speaker 2: in and they would make the beds and for me
- 12:52Speaker 2: i just give you new towels do not disturb the
- 12:54Speaker 2: whole time i don't care if they make my bed
- 12:56Speaker 2: If I leave for a few hours, I'll take the
- 12:58Speaker 2: sign down hoping that they come. You've always had that option.
- 13:01Speaker 2: But now when you check in, you almost have to
- 13:03Speaker 2: tell them if you want it.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:05Speaker 2: You have to opt into it as opposed to opting
- 13:08Speaker 2: out of it. I think that's great.
- 13:09Speaker 3: I love it.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I opt out every time. I'm like Greg. Dude, I'm
- 13:12Speaker 2: a guy on a trip. I'm in a hotel. If
- 13:16Speaker 2: I use a washcloth just to dry my hands, I'm
- 13:19Speaker 2: having it washed. Because it's not your house. You don't
- 13:22Speaker 2: have to worry about it, right?
- 13:23Speaker 3: Kind of the same.
- 13:24Speaker 2: You take a shower. You use the towel once.
- 13:26Speaker 14: Mm-hmm.
- 13:27Speaker 2: New towel next time.
- 13:28Speaker 5: Yep.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Let's, you know, let's spoil ourselves. Yeah, I get that.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Oh man, it's great. It's a luxury. That's what you're,
- 13:33Speaker 2: it's part of the experience, right? It's like what you're
- 13:35Speaker 2: paying for.
- 13:36Speaker 8: Does anyone do a mint or chocolate on the pillow
- 13:38Speaker 8: anymore or are those days over?
- 13:39Speaker 2: If you go to like a really nice place, typically
- 13:41Speaker 2: like a vacation resort type place, they'll do that. The
- 13:44Speaker 2: place I go to in Mexico.
- 13:45Speaker 3: They do that.
- 13:46Speaker 5: They make little swans out of your towels.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Oh, I love that.
- 13:49Speaker 8: Little squills.
- 13:50Speaker 2: I find that to be more of a cruise line thing.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Cruises love to do that kind of stuff. It's so great.
- 13:55Speaker 2: The chocolate on the pillow, uh, with the itinerary for
- 13:58Speaker 2: the activities the next day. They'll do something like that.
- 14:01Speaker 3: You know what's something I should have loved but I
- 14:03Speaker 3: actually hated, and you'll understand why, because it's me. Vagina. Well, that.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Big regret. On this one vacation, it was for our anniversary,
- 14:11Speaker 3: and we came back from dinner, and they did the
- 14:13Speaker 3: rose petals on the bed.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Oh.
- 14:15Speaker 5: Oh, that would be your nightmare.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Thanks for making a mess.
- 14:18Speaker 8: Yeah, now I have to clean this up?
- 14:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going to clean up your petals.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Yes! Oh, Greg, you would hate this. The resort, again,
- 14:24Speaker 2: in Mexico that we would go to, there's a big, giant, like,
- 14:27Speaker 2: huge two-person soaking jacuzzi tub in the room.
- 14:30Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 14:31Speaker 2: And, you know, they did the turndown service where they
- 14:33Speaker 2: put the chocolate out and the whole thing. Well, they
- 14:35Speaker 2: filled the tub up with bubbles and everything. So, like,
- 14:38Speaker 2: we didn't ask for this. Right. We're not going to
- 14:39Speaker 2: get in this thing, so... Talk about waste. We just
- 14:42Speaker 2: drained it right out, Greg.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Such a waste.
- 14:45Speaker 2: You gather up all those rose petals, put them right
- 14:47Speaker 2: in the garbage.
- 14:48Speaker 3: Yeah, thanks a lot. Now with Airbnb, you still have
- 14:50Speaker 3: to do the basic stuff, turn off the lights, make
- 14:52Speaker 3: sure the doors are locked, stuff like that.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Fine.
- 14:53Speaker 3: But they're hoping that the checkout process will be a
- 14:55Speaker 3: lot easier.
- 14:56Speaker 8: Well, I think we all got wise to it and
- 14:58Speaker 8: they're losing money now.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Probably.
- 14:59Speaker 8: We're over Airbnb.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Because isn't the cleaning fee like 50 bucks? Depends.
- 15:03Speaker 8: It's like 300 bucks.
- 15:05Speaker 1: What?
- 15:06Speaker 8: It's hundreds of dollars.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Oh my God, how stupid. Hundreds?
- 15:09Speaker 8: It can be 150, 300.
- 15:10Speaker 2: I guess it depends on the kind of place you're
- 15:11Speaker 2: staying in.
- 15:12Speaker 8: And you're still doing the dishes.
- 15:14Speaker 5: Yeah, it's just great for places that don't have a
- 15:17Speaker 5: lot of hotels around.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly. Well, in other news, looters who ransacked an
- 15:21Speaker 3: Apple store in France during all these super productive riots
- 15:24Speaker 3: stole armloads of essentially useless stuff. They got this warning
- 15:28Speaker 3: that they're stolen. The videos are great. It's so good.
- 15:30Speaker 3: The stolen merchandise is being locked and tracked, and the
- 15:33Speaker 3: phones got bricked the minute they stole them, and they
- 15:35Speaker 3: showed messages on the phone saying, please return this device
- 15:38Speaker 3: to Apple. This device has been disabled, and it's being tracked,
- 15:41Speaker 3: and local authorities will be alerted. And a lot of
- 15:44Speaker 3: people on social media are mocking these loser thieves. So
- 15:47Speaker 3: good for Apple, but bad for other stores that got
- 15:50Speaker 3: looted and can't track anything. Louis Vuitton got looted, Hermes, Dior,
- 15:54Speaker 3: a bunch of others. They stole useless phones.
- 15:57Speaker 14: These.
- 15:58Speaker 5: They don't really care. They're just going to put them
- 16:00Speaker 5: in the box and sell them to somebody else.
- 16:02Speaker 3: But how would that do anybody any good?
- 16:04Speaker 8: Well, they're not going to tell them.
- 16:05Speaker 2: They're not going to tell them.
- 16:06Speaker 3: No, I understand that. But if you're stealing a phone, okay, great,
- 16:09Speaker 3: you can sell it. But if I stole your phone
- 16:12Speaker 3: right now, it would do me no good, correct?
- 16:14Speaker 2: When you sell it to somebody else, now you're getting
- 16:16Speaker 2: the money.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Well, I get the money.
- 16:17Speaker 2: That's what it's about.
- 16:19Speaker 3: No, I get it. But, okay, I guess my question is,
- 16:22Speaker 3: if you know a phone is stolen, you're going to
- 16:24Speaker 3: get a good deal on it because it's a stolen phone.
- 16:26Speaker 3: It will do you no good, right?
- 16:27Speaker 8: But you don't know that.
- 16:28Speaker 2: You don't know that it's stolen.
- 16:29Speaker 5: Because that person is running away as they take your money.
- 16:31Speaker 2: You should assume, if you're not a complete R word.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly. You should assume it's stolen.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Like when Greg goes to these self-storage places and he
- 16:39Speaker 2: knows because he did the research on how much this
- 16:42Speaker 2: microwave is supposed to cost.
- 16:43Speaker 3: It's called the bargain warehouse.
- 16:45Speaker 2: And it's supposed to be $ 700. But for whatever reason,
- 16:48Speaker 2: it's $ 50 and it's brand new.
- 16:50Speaker 5: Don't ask any questions.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Greg knows that, yes, this is probably stolen. He buys
- 16:54Speaker 2: it anyway. Oh, of course.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Because it's such a good deal.
- 16:58Speaker 5: You take the risk when you open the box, there
- 17:00Speaker 5: might be a brick inside.
- 17:01Speaker 8: A literal brick.
- 17:02Speaker 3: I guess I'm just questioning the so-called victims in these
- 17:05Speaker 3: sales because if you said, hey, guess what? I have
- 17:08Speaker 3: an iPhone. I'll sell it to you for $ 100. I
- 17:10Speaker 3: would open the box, make sure it works, make sure
- 17:12Speaker 3: I could use it. Who's buying this?
- 17:14Speaker 8: There are no victims in these sales. It's like if
- 17:17Speaker 8: you're doing that, you know you're doing something wrong.
- 17:19Speaker 2: When you hear about like, oh, somebody told me that
- 17:21Speaker 2: I have a debt with the city and I can
- 17:23Speaker 2: pay it off using gift cards that I go to
- 17:26Speaker 2: Walmart for and then call them back with the gift
- 17:29Speaker 2: card numbers and be like, okay, people are dumb, dude. Yeah.
- 17:31Speaker 5: People buy TV boxes and they open them and it's
- 17:35Speaker 5: like an oven door.
- 17:36Speaker 8: An old picture game, yeah.
- 17:37Speaker 3: Cinder block. Yeah. In other news, a judge has rejected
- 17:41Speaker 3: Lindsay Clancy's lawyer's attempt to question that lone holdout juror.
- 17:45Speaker 3: That's the juror who caused a mistrial in the murder case.
- 17:48Speaker 3: So the jury had voted 11 to 1 to find
- 17:50Speaker 3: her not guilty by reason of insanity. And then her
- 17:52Speaker 3: defense team wanted to investigate that holdout juror and see
- 17:55Speaker 3: whether or not he lied on his jury questionnaire and
- 17:58Speaker 3: properly used his phone during deliberations or failed to follow
- 18:01Speaker 3: the judge's instructions. But the judge in this case ruled
- 18:06Speaker 3: that courts should not investigate jurors' private thought processes.
- 18:10Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 18:10Speaker 3: So there you go.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:11Speaker 3: He had a mind of his own up next. Lindsay
- 18:13Speaker 3: Clancy is going to be in court November 2nd. Her
- 18:16Speaker 3: lawyers are going to argue that retrying her would violate
- 18:19Speaker 3: double jeopardy protections. I don't know how they would do that.
- 18:21Speaker 8: We know it won't, but this is the thing I've
- 18:23Speaker 8: been saying from the beginning. Like this holdout was like, no, no, no.
- 18:26Speaker 8: Wasn't reason of insanity. But if he wants her to
- 18:28Speaker 8: get any punishment whatsoever, he undid all of that.
- 18:32Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 18:32Speaker 8: You know, like it backfired. Well, you know what I mean?
- 18:36Speaker 2: I'm not following.
- 18:37Speaker 8: Like, now she's just free. As opposed to getting any
- 18:41Speaker 8: sort of repercussions.
- 18:43Speaker 3: But she's going to be back on trial.
- 18:44Speaker 8: Well, that's what I'm saying. They're not going to leave
- 18:46Speaker 8: it at that. But it was just like, dude, we
- 18:49Speaker 8: get what you're saying on principle, but if you hold out,
- 18:53Speaker 8: then she just goes back onto the sidewalk.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Okay, I see what you're saying.
- 18:56Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 18:56Speaker 3: His thing essentially backfired.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Yes.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Because now she, if she doesn't go back to trial.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 19:02Speaker 11: She's also paralyzed currently, so I don't think she's a
- 19:05Speaker 11: threat until she's retried again.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Also, good. Totally. Totally.
- 19:09Speaker 3: There's a good Thursday night football game tonight defending AFC
- 19:12Speaker 3: champion Patriots versus Caleb Williams and the Bears in Chicago.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Both teams are 4-2. You can watch that game on
- 19:18Speaker 3: Amazon Prime. And meanwhile, remember that drama on Monday Night
- 19:22Speaker 3: Football between Joe Buck and Troy Aikman?
- 19:24Speaker 14: Oh, yeah.
- 19:25Speaker 3: This was before the Rams-Bills game at SoFi Stadium on
- 19:27Speaker 3: October 12th. Well, the reported source of that tension was
- 19:30Speaker 3: simply money and betrayal. So Joe Buck had recently signed
- 19:34Speaker 3: that six-year deal with ESPN worth $ 108 million and Troy
- 19:38Speaker 3: Aikman felt blindsided because both Joe Buck and ESPN had
- 19:41Speaker 3: finalized that deal months before Troy found out about it.
- 19:45Speaker 2: But why is that his business?
- 19:46Speaker 3: That's what I think.
- 19:47Speaker 2: That's not his contract.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Right.
- 19:49Speaker 2: You have a contract with ESPN. Joe worked out his deal.
- 19:52Speaker 2: He's got his thing.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Completely.
- 19:53Speaker 2: So how's that a betrayal?
- 19:55Speaker 3: Right.
- 19:56Speaker 2: If you have an issue with anybody, it should be
- 19:57Speaker 2: with ESPN.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Yes.
- 19:59Speaker 3: And Troy Aikman accused Joe of, quote, screwing him over.
- 20:02Speaker 3: He said, you effed me over. And then Joe Buck
- 20:05Speaker 3: apologized to the production team, not to Troy Aikman. Encourage everybody.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Let's just move forward professionally.
- 20:11Speaker 5: I think he probably just thinks they worked together so
- 20:13Speaker 5: long that there are partners in it.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Well, it depends on what ESPN thinks. It doesn't matter
- 20:19Speaker 2: what they think.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:20Speaker 2: It's what ESPN thinks.
- 20:21Speaker 5: Yeah, but I'm saying that's why he was personally hurt
- 20:24Speaker 5: by it. Yeah.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Because they're like their partners. Yeah.
- 20:26Speaker 3: For some reason, this reminds me, when I worked at
- 20:28Speaker 3: this one station, they had mass layoffs. And the main dude,
- 20:32Speaker 3: the main on-air guy, did not get let go. And
- 20:35Speaker 3: everybody who got let go said... How dare you? You
- 20:38Speaker 3: should quit in solidarity.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Why are you still there? That's never going to happen.
- 20:43Speaker 8: Idiots.
- 20:43Speaker 3: This has nothing to do with him.
- 20:45Speaker 2: It's a job.
- 20:45Speaker 3: It's a job. It's not a family.
- 20:47Speaker 2: We always talk about how sucker employees always fall for
- 20:51Speaker 2: the line that the employer always wants to throw out
- 20:53Speaker 2: there about how we're, quote, family. It's not family, dude.
- 20:56Speaker 2: It's business. It's a job.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Right. We're family. By the way, you're fired.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Have you ever fired an uncle?
- 21:01Speaker 8: You're out of the family.
- 21:03Speaker 2: I mean, you've cut somebody off.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:05Speaker 11: Sure.
- 21:06Speaker 8: Your family, and we're going no contact with you. Correct
- 21:08Speaker 8: your things.
- 21:09Speaker 3: And we wish you well.
- 21:10Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 21:11Speaker 2: In your future endeavors.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Troy Aikman's ESPN contract expires after this season, and he
- 21:16Speaker 3: has suggested that ESPN might be moving in a different direction.
- 21:20Speaker 8: You don't say.
- 21:20Speaker 3: After that bitch behavior, maybe they will. And then finally,
- 21:23Speaker 3: a Canadian tourist is currently on trial in Vegas after
- 21:26Speaker 3: snatching Peachy the Flamingo from the Flamingo Hotel Habitat. This
- 21:31Speaker 3: happened back in March, but the trial is happening right now.
- 21:34Speaker 3: And this is 34-year-old Mitchell Fairbairn getting grilled on the
- 21:37Speaker 3: stand in this trial.
- 21:39Speaker 10: You understand that this seems like really stupid behavior.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Yes, I thought it would be at the time.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Fine.
- 21:46Speaker 10: Do you have an estimate of how many beers.
- 21:50Speaker 2: He kind of sounds like Chris Hansen, doesn't he?
- 21:52Speaker 3: A little bit.
- 21:52Speaker 2: You came here with Mike's Hard Lemonade and condoms. I
- 21:56Speaker 2: thought it would be at the time.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Fine.
- 21:59Speaker 10: Do you have an estimate of how many beers that
- 22:02Speaker 10: you drank, that first beer in the hotel, until you
- 22:05Speaker 10: get handcuffed by security? If I had to guess, I'd
- 22:08Speaker 10: say between 30 and 40.
- 22:09Speaker 2: He wasn't drunk.
- 22:10Speaker 10: He knew what he was doing.
- 22:11Speaker 8: You weren't joking that you were taking him home to Canada?
- 22:14Speaker 10: Physically impossible. That's not the question, Mr. Fairbairn.
- 22:17Speaker 11: Yes or no, is Peachy, as a result of the
- 22:21Speaker 11: incident on March 3rd, was Peachy hurt, period?
- 22:23Speaker 1: Yes.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Yes.
- 22:24Speaker 5: Okay.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I was hammered and I was being an idiot.
- 22:29Speaker 3: And he's walking down the hotel hallway just like has
- 22:31Speaker 3: the burden in his fists and he took selfies with
- 22:36Speaker 3: his hands around the flamingo's neck. The vet said that
- 22:39Speaker 3: Peachy lost about seven to eight feathers with broken shafts.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Gross.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Suffered blood loss. Needed weeks of pain medication.
- 22:45Speaker 10: So.
- 22:46Speaker 3: This idiot now faces one to four years per animal
- 22:49Speaker 3: cruelty count.
- 22:50Speaker 8: I'm so happy to hear that people care about animal cruelty. Like, well, unfortunately,
- 22:53Speaker 8: it's not illegal. Like, no, it is. Bye.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Well, people do dumb stuff.
- 22:57Speaker 8: Yeah, they do.
- 22:58Speaker 3: That's what's going on, Wood.
- 22:58Speaker 14: All right.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Greg Norton. You got it.
- 23:03Speaker 8: Oh, I don't like the smell.
- 23:05Speaker 3: It's back.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Hey, man. It's already week seven. I'm ready. It's over.
- 23:14Speaker 2: This whole part of the year, I feel like Labor
- 23:16Speaker 2: Day happens, and then after Labor Day, it's fast forward until,
- 23:20Speaker 2: next thing you know, it's New Year's Day. Yeah, true.
- 23:23Speaker 2: And you're sitting there going, damn. All right, what the
- 23:26Speaker 2: hell just happened?
- 23:26Speaker 5: I mean, if you walk around the office, people are
- 23:28Speaker 5: just like, the year is a wrap.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Yeah, dude. It's over.
- 23:31Speaker 2: It's like Willy Wonka when they're at the chocolate factory
- 23:34Speaker 2: and the whole tunnel's spinning under that boat.
- 23:36Speaker 10: Oh, yeah.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. That's the scary part. Yeah, it's like, dude,
- 23:39Speaker 2: what the hell's happening? Yeah. Yeah, but week number seven. Hey,
- 23:46Speaker 2: before we get to the biggest loser picks, how the
- 23:49Speaker 2: Titans released that guy, that Jordan Elliott. That whole story, man.
- 23:53Speaker 2: I don't know what's wrong with these guys. Think about this.
- 23:56Speaker 2: You start playing football when you're a kid, right? And
- 23:59Speaker 2: you get through, you know, peewees in high school and college,
- 24:03Speaker 2: and you get drafted. Now you've made the team. It's
- 24:06Speaker 2: not even training camp, man. You've made the team. Now
- 24:08Speaker 2: you're on the team. And he got into it with
- 24:11Speaker 2: another teammate. This other dude, this was at practice last week.
- 24:16Speaker 2: So he storms off to the parking garage, grabs a
- 24:19Speaker 2: gun out of his car, and this is all caught
- 24:21Speaker 2: on security cameras. And so this other guy talked him down.
- 24:26Speaker 2: No police report was ever filed, but now you're off
- 24:28Speaker 2: the team. Your entire dream, everything that you've worked for,
- 24:32Speaker 2: all the sacrifice that you've made to get to what
- 24:35Speaker 2: so many people would love the opportunity to get. Because
- 24:38Speaker 2: you're going to be some hothead douchebag, and you're going
- 24:41Speaker 2: to run to your car and get a gun because
- 24:43Speaker 2: you have a beef. What was the beef about? Did
- 24:45Speaker 2: you ever hear what the beef was about, Jeff?
- 24:46Speaker 9: No, and it's funny because his coach really defended him
- 24:48Speaker 9: yesterday at a sales conference. He was just saying, hey,
- 24:51Speaker 9: he could have been going through something else mentally, who knows,
- 24:54Speaker 9: at home or personally or whatever.
- 24:56Speaker 2: So everybody, there's a ton of people that have, there's
- 24:59Speaker 2: other things going on. Everybody got problems. Everybody's got something.
- 25:02Speaker 2: It doesn't mean you're running to the car and we
- 25:04Speaker 2: should make excuses for people going and getting guns.
- 25:06Speaker 14: No.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Pulling guns on people. But just what a dumbass.
- 25:09Speaker 9: Absolutely 100% not right. It was good, though, to see
- 25:12Speaker 9: a coach actually defend a player and his character other
- 25:16Speaker 9: than this particular incident. I did think that was cool
- 25:19Speaker 9: because a lot of coaches will throw their players under
- 25:22Speaker 9: the bus or just pretend they don't exist anymore when
- 25:23Speaker 9: they do something bad.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like, you know, I don't know.
- 25:28Speaker 3: Is he going to face legal problems?
- 25:30Speaker 2: Well, no police report was filed.
- 25:32Speaker 9: He'll get picked up by another team, though, I bet you, right?
- 25:35Speaker 2: Yeah, of course.
- 25:36Speaker 9: Yeah, he's good.
- 25:37Speaker 2: So many players, you know, beat their wives or have
- 25:41Speaker 2: guns in the club. And that's fine. Yeah, all these
- 25:43Speaker 2: other things. And they end up coming back and playing again.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Every once in a while, there's not, like, Ray Rice
- 25:47Speaker 2: never made a return.
- 25:49Speaker 9: I think he should face a punishment from the The league,
- 25:53Speaker 9: don't you think, Woody?
- 25:54Speaker 3: At least?
- 25:55Speaker 2: Well, yeah, if you brought a gun into a facility.
- 25:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:58Speaker 2: I mean, that would be something that's got to be
- 26:00Speaker 2: like a code of conduct.
- 26:01Speaker 8: Well, yeah, and you get penalized for showboating. Like, you
- 26:04Speaker 8: can't do this.
- 26:05Speaker 9: No fun league.
- 26:07Speaker 5: All right.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Yeah, no fun.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Can't bring guns from the garage. A bunch of squares.
- 26:12Speaker 2: One little beef with a teammate, and you bring a
- 26:14Speaker 2: gun in. Everybody's all pissed off. Stupid league.
- 26:17Speaker 3: Right, they're so uptight. Yeah.
- 26:20Speaker 2: But some of these guys, I mean, you know. They're
- 26:22Speaker 2: not exactly smart. These are big, dumb athletes half the time.
- 26:27Speaker 2: They never went to class. And not only do you
- 26:30Speaker 2: not have any book smarts, you clearly don't even have
- 26:32Speaker 2: any common sense or street smarts. You hope you have
- 26:36Speaker 2: at least one. If you're not book smart, hopefully you're
- 26:38Speaker 2: really street smart. And if you're not street smart, hopefully
- 26:41Speaker 2: you're really book smart.
- 26:42Speaker 9: Unfortunately, a lot of people.
- 26:43Speaker 2: But when you're neither, but man, you can really... You
- 26:47Speaker 2: can really cover a guy.
- 26:48Speaker 5: Yeah, if you're street smart, you get one of your
- 26:50Speaker 5: boys to handle the guy outside.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:52Speaker 9: But unfortunately, a lot of people can't leave stuff like
- 26:53Speaker 9: that behind. I've been disrespected. Yeah, then you add NCT
- 26:57Speaker 9: to the mix too, which doesn't help either. So yeah,
- 27:01Speaker 9: not a good look for this guy, man.
- 27:03Speaker 2: No, man.
- 27:03Speaker 9: He'll have to face his punishment, and maybe he'll get
- 27:05Speaker 9: picked up by another team.
- 27:06Speaker 3: Maybe not.
- 27:07Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 27:08Speaker 3: In the NFL, you get a pension when you're done, right?
- 27:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:11Speaker 10: You do?
- 27:11Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a pension. So I wonder how long do
- 27:14Speaker 3: you have to play for the NFL to get the pension?
- 27:17Speaker 3: I wonder if it's just.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Don't know.
- 27:18Speaker 3: If it's one game, do you get the pension?
- 27:20Speaker 2: I think it's like three years.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Oh, really? Two, three years.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Have you ever heard of this guy before this whole event? Jeff,
- 27:29Speaker 2: I'd never heard this guy's name. I mean, he's a
- 27:31Speaker 2: defensive tackle. You don't really hear about those dudes too much.
- 27:34Speaker 8: Offensive lineman.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 27:37Speaker 8: You have to earn at least three credited seasons.
- 27:40Speaker 5: Oh, three.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Okay.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Well, every week here on The Woody Show, two people
- 27:44Speaker 2: here on the show go head-to-head. They pick who they
- 27:46Speaker 2: think is going to be the biggest loser in the
- 27:48Speaker 2: NFL in that particular week, meaning the team that will
- 27:52Speaker 2: lose by the most amount of points. So last week,
- 27:57Speaker 2: I beat Sammy, because Sammy, she was supposed to pick
- 28:00Speaker 2: the biggest loser, but she picked the team to lose,
- 28:02Speaker 2: and they won the game. Yeah, the Titans.
- 28:04Speaker 5: Who knew?
- 28:05Speaker 2: Speaking of the Titans.
- 28:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:06Speaker 2: So this week, we're drawing some more names. Because even
- 28:09Speaker 2: my pick, they won. I mean, they lost, but they
- 28:11Speaker 2: only lost by three.
- 28:12Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 28:13Speaker 3: All the games were really close last week.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Yeah. Except the Chiefs. So no looking on your phones.
- 28:18Speaker 2: You just look at the games on the schedule, on
- 28:21Speaker 2: the sheet. And you just pick the team that you
- 28:24Speaker 2: think is going to be the biggest loser for the
- 28:25Speaker 2: weekend and going head-to-head. I tell you what, this top
- 28:28Speaker 2: hat that I bought for.
- 28:29Speaker 8: Oh, it's getting some mileage.
- 28:31Speaker 3: It's paid for itself.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Going on that stupid thing with my friends where I
- 28:34Speaker 2: dressed up with the cane and everything. It's really come
- 28:37Speaker 2: in handy.
- 28:38Speaker 8: You got all fancy, extra fancy with the cane.
- 28:40Speaker 3: All right.
- 28:41Speaker 2: The first hand that got drawn out is Jeff G again.
- 28:44Speaker 13: Okay.
- 28:44Speaker 2: All right. So Jeff G and how about Jeff? Why
- 28:47Speaker 2: don't you pick one out of here? Okay.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Who are you going head to head with this week?
- 28:52Speaker 2: Jeff G and Woody. Are you serious?
- 28:56Speaker 8: Nice.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Seriously. All right.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Do you want to redraw? No, that's not the way
- 29:01Speaker 2: it works. That's the whole point, right?
- 29:03Speaker 3: Luck of the draw.
- 29:04Speaker 8: All right.
- 29:05Speaker 2: So Jeff G, take a look and tell me what
- 29:08Speaker 2: you think. Biggest loser for week seven.
- 29:12Speaker 9: I'm looking at two games. Colts at Vikings. Colts just
- 29:15Speaker 9: fired their GM. It's an S show. Will they show
- 29:18Speaker 9: up and play for their coach or will they just
- 29:20Speaker 9: Give in on the season, right? And then.
- 29:24Speaker 3: The Vikings are undefeated, right?
- 29:26Speaker 2: Yes. Yes.
- 29:28Speaker 9: And then you got Giants and Texans. Giants are on
- 29:31Speaker 9: their third quarterback, J.J.
- 29:33Speaker 3: McCarthy.
- 29:34Speaker 9: He's hot and cold. This is a tough one, man.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Because there's a lot of like, really close matchups. There are.
- 29:41Speaker 2: You know what I mean? Like, Cowboys and Eagles, both teams,
- 29:45Speaker 2: you know, garbage. Chiefs, Seahawks, both teams, really good.
- 29:49Speaker 3: Yep.
- 29:49Speaker 2: How have they been really following the Falcons? Have they
- 29:52Speaker 2: been doing— They've been.
- 29:53Speaker 9: Playing very well.
- 29:53Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 29:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:54Speaker 9: When they have the quarterback in there, their starter, they're good.
- 29:58Speaker 9: Tua gets in there.
- 29:58Speaker 3: It's a mess.
- 29:59Speaker 9: But the Texans have a really good defense, and they're
- 30:03Speaker 9: at home, so Giants could be walking into a mess,
- 30:05Speaker 9: especially with J.J. McCarthy, who's turnover prone.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm locking in. Biggest loser is going to be
- 30:11Speaker 2: the Falcons. They're taking on the Niners, and I have
- 30:15Speaker 2: the Falcons losing by 10.
- 30:16Speaker 3: I like that.
- 30:18Speaker 2: I don't think the Falcons. The Falcons are another one
- 30:20Speaker 2: of those teams. I don't think they're as good as
- 30:23Speaker 2: people perceive them to be right now. Not that they're amazing.
- 30:28Speaker 2: But they're better than people thought they were going to be.
- 30:30Speaker 2: And I think that's kind of... I think it's kind
- 30:33Speaker 2: of tainting people's opinion when they start... I hear these
- 30:36Speaker 2: talking heads talking about them stuff. It's like, I don't know.
- 30:38Speaker 2: They're not a real contender. Like, the Niners are... They're
- 30:41Speaker 2: a machine right now.
- 30:42Speaker 3: They're legit right now. Super legit.
- 30:43Speaker 2: So I'm going to go Falcons biggest loser by 10.
- 30:46Speaker 3: You're welcome, Greg Gorey. I know. Let's hope that comes
- 30:49Speaker 3: true fruition.
- 30:49Speaker 10: Jeff G.
- 30:49Speaker 3: biggest loser. All right.
- 30:50Speaker 9: Go ahead and give me the Giants being the biggest
- 30:53Speaker 9: loser at the Texans by 7.
- 30:54Speaker 3: By 7? All right. Minus....
- 30:58Speaker 2: All right, well, there's the picks. Get your picks in.
- 31:01Speaker 2: You can send them on the text over to 22987,
- 31:05Speaker 2: who will be the biggest loser this week. We'll take
- 31:09Speaker 2: a quick break. We'll come back. We have some more
- 31:11Speaker 2: Woody Show coming up for you next time. And has
- 31:13Speaker 2: ball hairs.
- 31:14Speaker 3: Yeah, has like extended little ball hairs on his body.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Here's my question, man. Is everybody scamming?
- 31:29Speaker 5: Feels like it.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Stay scamming. Dude, everybody's scamming.
- 31:35Speaker 5: There's always a story.
- 31:36Speaker 3: Okay, so.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Alright. This broad in Massachusetts, she got busted. She was
- 31:42Speaker 2: running a 12-year marriage mill. So she was charging immigrants
- 31:48Speaker 2: up to $ 40, 000 to marry U.S. citizens for green cards,
- 31:52Speaker 2: arranging hundreds of fake weddings, pocketing more than $ 6 million.
- 31:56Speaker 2: And while she was doing that, she was collecting food
- 32:00Speaker 2: assistance on the side.
- 32:02Speaker 8: She's very poor.
- 32:03Speaker 3: Yeah, can't afford it.
- 32:04Speaker 2: Another scam. Eric Von Detten. Josh in the Princess Diaries.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Star of the Disney Channel classic Brink.
- 32:12Speaker 8: Yes.
- 32:13Speaker 2: And the voice of Sid in the Toy Story movies
- 32:16Speaker 2: is being sued for scamming old people. Oh, no.
- 32:20Speaker 3: Got charged with elder abuse.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Remember Sid, the kid that was, like, taking all the
- 32:22Speaker 2: other toys apart? Oh, yeah, the bad kid. Yeah, the
- 32:25Speaker 2: little bad kid neighbor guy. Anyway, the couple says that
- 32:29Speaker 2: he talked them into putting more than $ 2 million... of
- 32:32Speaker 2: their retirement savings into Lady Liberty gold coins. Oh my God.
- 32:37Speaker 2: The company he worked for went bankrupt and they're suing
- 32:41Speaker 2: for elder abuse and fraud.
- 32:43Speaker 8: There is such a special place in hell for those people.
- 32:45Speaker 2: That's Sid.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Of course it was Sid. Up to no good.
- 32:49Speaker 5: Yep.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Poor old people, man. They fall for everything. My grandma
- 32:53Speaker 3: fell for everything.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Old people are dumb.
- 32:55Speaker 3: I know. You think it would go the other way around.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Whatever happened to old and wise? The older you get,
- 33:00Speaker 2: the dumber you get. As I say, I thought we
- 33:01Speaker 2: were supposed to be getting wise as we were getting old.
- 33:04Speaker 3: It just goes out the window.
- 33:05Speaker 2: It's so weird.
- 33:06Speaker 8: What's that newsletter your grandma gets?
- 33:08Speaker 2: Oh, the Silver Report. The Silver Report.
- 33:11Speaker 5: I love that so much. All the older people, they
- 33:14Speaker 5: get the Silver Report.
- 33:15Speaker 2: I want the Silver Report.
- 33:16Speaker 5: And it gives them the updates on all the latest scams.
- 33:18Speaker 5: So they're in the know. So if they get hit
- 33:20Speaker 5: up by the scam.
- 33:21Speaker 8: I need to get on that list.
- 33:22Speaker 2: They don't get scammed. Here's another one. A Florida police
- 33:24Speaker 2: officer accused of using a dead man's identity to take
- 33:27Speaker 2: over his home. Oh.
- 33:29Speaker 14: That's cool.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Officer Brian Sturgis, 35 years old, arrested following an investigation
- 33:35Speaker 2: tied to a welfare check. Officers found the 71-year-old man,
- 33:38Speaker 2: David West, dead from natural causes. And investigators say that
- 33:42Speaker 2: Brian later took over control of the house without any
- 33:44Speaker 2: legal right and used the dead guy's identity on a
- 33:48Speaker 2: building permit.
- 33:48Speaker 5: Ugh.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Accused of using a notary's name and seal, sending documents
- 33:53Speaker 2: from the dead guy's phone, searching police records without permission.
- 33:57Speaker 5: He was thorough.
- 33:59Speaker 2: He spent more than $ 200, 000 repairing the house, later tried
- 34:02Speaker 2: to own it. And the dead guy, the rightful heirs,
- 34:06Speaker 2: they eventually found out. And so now this guy, he's
- 34:10Speaker 2: not even fired yet. He's on unpaid leave. What's to
- 34:14Speaker 2: figure out, man?
- 34:15Speaker 3: That happened to a neighbor of mine. So this one
- 34:18Speaker 3: house at the end of the block was renting out
- 34:22Speaker 3: his driveway for people to live in an RV for
- 34:25Speaker 3: like whatever, 30 bucks a month.
- 34:27Speaker 2: You can do that?
- 34:28Speaker 8: I don't think so.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Not legally by any means. And so that attracted a
- 34:31Speaker 3: ton of people. The next door neighbor, old man, Gary,
- 34:35Speaker 3: died and they found out that he died. Everybody moved
- 34:38Speaker 3: into his house. Just commandeered his house.
- 34:40Speaker 5: Really?
- 34:41Speaker 8: And you can totally do that these days.
- 34:42Speaker 2: I guess if they don't have any like family or
- 34:44Speaker 2: friends like he had a loner.
- 34:46Speaker 3: Person he had a brother he had a brother but
- 34:48Speaker 3: the house was such a piece of garbage that the
- 34:50Speaker 3: brother didn't even want the house and these people lived
- 34:52Speaker 3: in it for a long time.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Damn that's crazy life like but again is everybody scamming yes.
- 34:59Speaker 3: And all the effort you put into a scam just
- 35:01Speaker 3: get a damn job because some of these scams are
- 35:04Speaker 3: so elaborate i know and how many of them are successful.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Well i hear the commercials for I think it's called
- 35:10Speaker 2: Title Lock.
- 35:11Speaker 3: Yeah, those make me paranoid.
- 35:13Speaker 8: What is that?
- 35:14Speaker 2: So basically, the commercials at least lead you to believe
- 35:18Speaker 2: that it's fairly simple for somebody just to steal your house.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Right.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Like with just a couple documents and a couple signatures.
- 35:26Speaker 3: Registered with the county.
- 35:27Speaker 2: They can just register. And then now they legally own
- 35:29Speaker 2: your home.
- 35:30Speaker 5: Oh, God.
- 35:30Speaker 2: And there's really nothing you can do. But you got
- 35:32Speaker 2: to sign up. It's like Life Lock, but for your title.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Should we do that?
- 35:37Speaker 5: I wonder.
- 35:37Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 35:38Speaker 2: I heard about it and I have not really dug
- 35:41Speaker 2: too deep into it, but I guess it's not super common.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Not that it doesn't happen. It does happen.
- 35:47Speaker 8: But the chances are unbelievably low.
- 35:49Speaker 2: It's not as easy as the commercial leads people to
- 35:52Speaker 2: believe because clearly they're trying to get people to sign up.
- 35:54Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 35:54Speaker 2: Sure. They want them to be like freaked out that,
- 35:56Speaker 2: oh my God, this is just a matter of just
- 35:58Speaker 2: going down to the- They want the Gregories. Yeah, going
- 36:00Speaker 2: down to City Hall.
- 36:01Speaker 3: Totally.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Going to the registrar's office.
- 36:04Speaker 3: I chat GPT to it. It said the title theft
- 36:06Speaker 3: is real, but the risk is generally low.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Yes, that's what I was reading.
- 36:09Speaker 3: And a lot of alarming advertising about it, which is true.
- 36:12Speaker 3: Those ads work. Yeah.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Well, I mean.
- 36:15Speaker 8: I was convinced for the last 15 seconds someone was
- 36:17Speaker 8: going to steal my house.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Right.
- 36:19Speaker 1: So I get it.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Not that it's.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Your house, you mean mine.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Not that it's impossible.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:24Speaker 2: It's just not probable.
- 36:25Speaker 8: People don't go around doing that to every single person.
- 36:27Speaker 2: It's not super easy the way that the commercials. But,
- 36:30Speaker 2: you know, there's so many scams. And, you know, you
- 36:33Speaker 2: don't know one thing from the next thing.
- 36:36Speaker 8: No.
- 36:37Speaker 2: What's the thing you were talking about this morning, Menace?
- 36:39Speaker 2: There's like all these. It's a big.
- 36:40Speaker 5: Computer like there's something compromised yeah there's a security issue
- 36:46Speaker 5: with the internet 70 of the internet and it's been
- 36:51Speaker 5: going on for like a couple weeks yeah.
- 36:52Speaker 2: It says an urgent security update has been released for
- 36:55Speaker 2: php a programming language used by an estimated 70 of
- 36:58Speaker 2: websites two serious flaws could let hackers run their code
- 37:02Speaker 2: and take over affected servers without signing in So the
- 37:06Speaker 2: PHP team released fixes yesterday, urging users to install them immediately.
- 37:12Speaker 2: US and British security agencies issued similar warnings. The FBI
- 37:15Speaker 2: said organizations that can't install the update should take any
- 37:19Speaker 2: affected systems offline until they can be made safe.
- 37:23Speaker 8: So this isn't a hacking attack. This is a software
- 37:26Speaker 8: update that's screwing people up.
- 37:29Speaker 2: It's a security update that's been released because there's a
- 37:32Speaker 2: programming language used by 70% of computers. So something, a
- 37:36Speaker 2: language used by 70% of these websites would... If it's not,
- 37:40Speaker 2: if you don't put this update in and fix the
- 37:42Speaker 2: patch it or whatever.
- 37:43Speaker 8: That's what I'm saying.
- 37:44Speaker 2: It could let hackers run their code and take over
- 37:49Speaker 2: affected servers without signing in.
- 37:51Speaker 8: 70% of people did not get hacked, I think is
- 37:53Speaker 8: what I'm trying to.
- 37:54Speaker 2: No, but 70% of websites use this particular thing that
- 37:58Speaker 2: is compromised. That's why I said it's affecting 70%.
- 38:01Speaker 10: OpenAI.com.
- 38:03Speaker 2: Said its AI tools helped researchers find ways to exploit
- 38:07Speaker 2: the flaws. The PHP team installing the updates is the
- 38:10Speaker 2: only complete fake. Look, there's no guarantee that, you know,
- 38:12Speaker 2: websites won't be affected by that whole thing.
- 38:16Speaker 5: That's why when I go to stores and they ask
- 38:19Speaker 5: you for all your information, your email, your phone number,
- 38:22Speaker 5: like they pretend that they need it for you to
- 38:24Speaker 5: like check out.
- 38:25Speaker 9: I go, no.
- 38:25Speaker 2: I hate that. And I want to ask the worker.
- 38:27Speaker 5: I go, do you trust your own company system with
- 38:32Speaker 5: your personal information?
- 38:33Speaker 2: You know, I'm here at the physical location. I'm not buying.
- 38:37Speaker 2: I understand. Like when you're buying something online, you enter
- 38:40Speaker 2: your information, right?
- 38:41Speaker 3: Yeah. I am right here.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Yeah. But in this particular case, I got in my car.
- 38:46Speaker 2: I came to your store. I walked through the door.
- 38:48Speaker 2: I found the thing that I wanted. I waited in line.
- 38:50Speaker 2: I'm here at the register. All you gotta do is
- 38:53Speaker 2: put the price in there. Take my money. And then
- 38:55Speaker 2: how would you like to pay today?
- 38:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Well, 99.9% is going to be through the card. And
- 39:00Speaker 2: so you just, activate the little machine. I wait for
- 39:03Speaker 2: the light to come on so I can use my
- 39:05Speaker 2: Apple Pay or tap or scan or whatever you're going
- 39:07Speaker 2: to do. And I go, why do you need my email?
- 39:11Speaker 2: Why do you need my phone number? Well, I can't
- 39:13Speaker 2: even begin. I've heard people, I can't even begin the checkout.
- 39:17Speaker 2: I can't even scan your item until your phone. Oh,
- 39:20Speaker 2: then just put any phone number. We used to do
- 39:21Speaker 2: that when I worked at the grocery store. You worked
- 39:23Speaker 2: at the grocery store. Like people would have like whatever.
- 39:26Speaker 2: And we would just, like, type in random ass number
- 39:29Speaker 2: just to get past that screen. Did you ask the
- 39:31Speaker 2: customer if they had a shopper's card? Sure did.
- 39:34Speaker 3: 555-1212.
- 39:35Speaker 9: Yeah, the process is so crazy now.
- 39:38Speaker 5: So they ask for all that information, and then you, like,
- 39:41Speaker 5: got to approve your... what you're buying, and then, like,
- 39:44Speaker 5: do you want to round up?
- 39:46Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. There's 8,000 questions about the different charity things.
- 39:51Speaker 2: Do you want to sign up for their card? No,
- 39:54Speaker 2: I don't. Are you sure? Yeah, I'm pretty sure. Yeah,
- 39:56Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure.
- 39:57Speaker 3: I'm going to go home and think about it. Yeah.
- 40:00Speaker 2: 877-44-WOODY. You can send us a text. Do that over
- 40:03Speaker 2: to 22987. We'll take a quick break. Either people are
- 40:06Speaker 2: scammers or creepers. Yep. You're in one of two categories now.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Phones are open 877-44-WOODY. You can send us a text
- 40:19Speaker 2: over to 22987. And like Greg, I get caught up on.
- 40:31Speaker 2: A lot of stupid little things. And I, and I can,
- 40:33Speaker 2: I can fully admit that they are stupid and they
- 40:35Speaker 2: are little.
- 40:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Yeah. And it doesn't. So before anybody, well, how does
- 40:39Speaker 2: this affect you? It doesn't affect me.
- 40:41Speaker 1: Right, right, right.
- 40:42Speaker 3: That's the misunderstanding.
- 40:44Speaker 2: It doesn't, it doesn't, I shouldn't say it doesn't make,
- 40:46Speaker 2: it doesn't impact my life.
- 40:47Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Yeah. I, I, I realized that I completely realized that
- 40:51Speaker 2: for what I'm about to say. So like, um, for example, uh,
- 40:57Speaker 2: the little warning stickers that people still have on their
- 40:59Speaker 2: driver's side window. Menji is an offender of this. I
- 41:04Speaker 2: notice every day when I get into work and I'm
- 41:06Speaker 2: walking past his car, it's like he still has the.
- 41:08Speaker 3: Damn it, Menji.
- 41:09Speaker 2: The thing is, they're big and gaudy and they're huge
- 41:12Speaker 2: because the manufacturer means for you to take them off.
- 41:15Speaker 2: When you buy, it's like your article of clothing is
- 41:19Speaker 2: not meant to be worn with the stickers and stuff
- 41:21Speaker 2: still on it. You're supposed to take the stickers and
- 41:23Speaker 2: tags off. They're not intending, so it's not part of
- 41:25Speaker 2: the look they're going for. Otherwise, I think if it
- 41:28Speaker 2: was supposed to be one of those things that were
- 41:29Speaker 2: still on there, like they would have made it smaller
- 41:32Speaker 2: or they would have made it so it was less
- 41:33Speaker 2: than true. They would have at least gone through the
- 41:34Speaker 2: trouble of making them straight. Half the time they're on
- 41:37Speaker 2: there kind of crooked, which I know would drive Greg crazy.
- 41:39Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 41:40Speaker 2: So that's just one example.
- 41:41Speaker 3: Do you not see that sticker?
- 41:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:43Speaker 2: So that's just one example of things that like I
- 41:47Speaker 2: notice and I go, I find it like. I'll call
- 41:50Speaker 2: it gently irritating because it's like when somebody has a
- 41:53Speaker 2: piece of food on their face, like you don't feel that.
- 41:55Speaker 8: How do you not know?
- 41:57Speaker 2: How almost you feel it.
- 41:59Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Even though it's on somebody else's face. Okay. So then
- 42:02Speaker 2: does affect you because you said gently. That's what I said.
- 42:04Speaker 2: It doesn't impact. I changed my wording too. It doesn't
- 42:07Speaker 2: impact my life. Like in other words, this isn't going
- 42:10Speaker 2: to change my future or anything. But it affects you
- 42:13Speaker 2: in some way. I think anytime you are observing anything
- 42:17Speaker 2: that you're going to have some type of thought or
- 42:19Speaker 2: reaction to it.
- 42:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:21Speaker 2: It doesn't ruin my day.
- 42:22Speaker 3: It doesn't.
- 42:22Speaker 2: I just don't get it. I look and I go,
- 42:24Speaker 2: how do you leave that there? Like, you know, how
- 42:26Speaker 2: do you not feel that piece of food on your face?
- 42:27Speaker 3: It's a curiosity. Okay.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Add this to the list. And another thing to add
- 42:34Speaker 2: to the list. And I see this not every day,
- 42:39Speaker 2: but probably at least maybe once a week, once every
- 42:42Speaker 2: other week. Because I go to the convenience store on
- 42:45Speaker 2: the way into work every day.
- 42:46Speaker 3: Daily.
- 42:47Speaker 2: And I see it a lot. Why? And maybe somebody
- 42:50Speaker 2: can explain to me. Why do people insist on leaving
- 42:54Speaker 2: their cars running while they go into a convenience store?
- 42:58Speaker 8: That does seem like a bad idea.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Forget backing in. We've had that discussion. Why back in
- 43:03Speaker 2: the spots or why pull forward in the spots? And like, okay, whatever.
- 43:07Speaker 3: Fine.
- 43:07Speaker 14: Hmm.
- 43:08Speaker 2: You come to the convenience store and you're going in
- 43:11Speaker 2: to get a coffee or to get whatever it is
- 43:13Speaker 2: you're going to get, a lotto ticket. But you've got
- 43:16Speaker 2: out of your car and you've intentionally left the car
- 43:19Speaker 2: running while you go. It's not cold out.
- 43:24Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 43:24Speaker 8: It's not an old timey car.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:26Speaker 2: Like I get cops are almost baiting you. I think
- 43:29Speaker 2: cops almost like, go ahead, try it. Steal the cop car.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Like it's going to take a special person to steal
- 43:36Speaker 2: the cop car that's running outside of a place.
- 43:39Speaker 10: Sure.
- 43:39Speaker 2: I'm saying just for the average person. If you are
- 43:42Speaker 2: one of these people, why do you do that? Why
- 43:45Speaker 2: do you leave the car running? You're very trusting, first
- 43:47Speaker 2: of all. Is this saving you a bunch of time?
- 43:50Speaker 2: A quick getaway?
- 43:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:52Speaker 2: Are you worried that, man, if I shut the car off,
- 43:54Speaker 2: I'm not going to be able to get started again?
- 43:56Speaker 2: But these are not beater cars. These are not cars
- 43:58Speaker 2: that look like they're not going to be able to
- 44:01Speaker 2: start back up.
- 44:02Speaker 3: I don't know anybody who does that, but I think
- 44:04Speaker 3: they would make the argument that it does save time.
- 44:07Speaker 3: Because you know how it takes more hours to start
- 44:10Speaker 3: a car?
- 44:10Speaker 2: How much time are you really saving?
- 44:12Speaker 1: Totally.
- 44:12Speaker 3: Totally. But I think that would be their argument.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Are you robbing the place?
- 44:16Speaker 8: Yeah, it doesn't make any sense.
- 44:17Speaker 3: Yeah, is this for a quick getaway?
- 44:18Speaker 5: I would just say in cold situations, you would keep
- 44:21Speaker 5: it running.
- 44:22Speaker 3: Perhaps.
- 44:24Speaker 11: I've known people who've done this in very small towns
- 44:26Speaker 11: where nothing is going to happen. And I think it's
- 44:30Speaker 11: part laziness and part just not worried about it. It's
- 44:32Speaker 11: like not locking your front door. You don't even think
- 44:35Speaker 11: about it. It's just part of, Just not caring.
- 44:37Speaker 8: Your reality is a very trusting reality.
- 44:39Speaker 2: How do you not think about it?
- 44:41Speaker 3: That's what I've been saying the past few months. If
- 44:44Speaker 3: you don't think about it, here's an idea.
- 44:46Speaker 8: Think about it.
- 44:48Speaker 2: A car is not a thing that you just leave
- 44:50Speaker 2: running all the time. When you get in the car,
- 44:53Speaker 2: you start it up. When you get out of the car,
- 44:56Speaker 2: you turn it off. You're making a conscious decision to
- 45:01Speaker 2: leave it running. I'm curious. I'm just wondering why do
- 45:03Speaker 2: you do that? And For people who have done this,
- 45:08Speaker 2: have you ever gotten your car stolen? Oh, I'm sure. Well,
- 45:12Speaker 2: we hear about.
- 45:13Speaker 5: Pizza delivery guys get their car stolen.
- 45:15Speaker 2: Somebody just texted him. My coworker left his truck running.
- 45:17Speaker 2: It was stolen and found a week later.
- 45:19Speaker 1: Good.
- 45:19Speaker 2: You know what? You deserve it. You deserve it.
- 45:22Speaker 8: And what did you learn? Do you continue to leave
- 45:24Speaker 8: your car running?
- 45:25Speaker 5: I was like, it's not going to happen twice.
- 45:26Speaker 2: This one says, my convenience store is very close to
- 45:28Speaker 2: my house, and I just started my engine a minute ago.
- 45:31Speaker 2: I leave it running, so in the long run, does
- 45:34Speaker 2: less damage to the engine.
- 45:36Speaker 3: Before it's... Is that a thing?
- 45:39Speaker 2: Before it's warmed up. I thought that whole thing now with.
- 45:43Speaker 2: People saying they have to start the car and let
- 45:46Speaker 2: it warm up.
- 45:46Speaker 3: I thought that ended a.
- 45:47Speaker 8: Long time ago.
- 45:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought that whole thing was done now. Modern engines,
- 45:50Speaker 2: I didn't think, had to be, quote, warmed up anymore.
- 45:53Speaker 2: That's what I heard. That's like an old engine thing, right? Yeah,
- 45:57Speaker 2: that's a relic of the 80s.
- 45:58Speaker 5: I mean, most cars stop their engines at stoplights these days.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. I hate that. Which is annoying as well.
- 46:04Speaker 2: That's an annoying feature. I hate the sound it makes, too,
- 46:07Speaker 2: when it does that. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
- 46:10Speaker 5: It's a stupid environmental horse crap thing.
- 46:12Speaker 2: Well, in the middle of summer, when that thing kicks in,
- 46:15Speaker 2: like the air conditioning, it just starts blowing like lukewarm air.
- 46:17Speaker 2: It doesn't keep blowing the air conditioning air.
- 46:21Speaker 3: Thanks, Obama.
- 46:21Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, guys?
- 46:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:23Speaker 2: I mean, you're a guy who appreciates saving time, Seabass. Sure.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Would you have some kind of explanation as to why.
- 46:28Speaker 12: Like, literally, I had to go back to my first
- 46:30Speaker 12: vehicle where I had to jumpstart the car every time
- 46:32Speaker 12: I started it.
- 46:33Speaker 2: See, that's what I'm saying.
- 46:34Speaker 5: That would have been the only situation.
- 46:36Speaker 6: But, yeah.
- 46:37Speaker 5: And it's also, by the way, this.
- 46:38Speaker 12: Is one of those things that you're going to tell
- 46:39Speaker 12: our kids and our grandkids. Like, you know, we used
- 46:41Speaker 12: to have to stop and start our cars because electric
- 46:43Speaker 12: cars don't start and stop.
- 46:44Speaker 2: Just turn them on.
- 46:46Speaker 12: And when you just walk away, you can't even start
- 46:48Speaker 12: an electric car unless you have the Bluetooth connection.
- 46:50Speaker 2: So, at least with Teslas anyway.
- 46:52Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, okay.
- 46:53Speaker 2: So someone says, well, hot days, AC stays on.
- 46:56Speaker 10: All right.
- 46:56Speaker 2: I can understand that. But in these particular situations. Perfect
- 47:01Speaker 2: weather conditions. These are not like super hot or super
- 47:04Speaker 2: cold conditions we're talking about. It's just people that just leave.
- 47:07Speaker 9: The car running.
- 47:08Speaker 5: Not super old cars, like you said.
- 47:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:10Speaker 2: Not getting. Not getting. And I think you are asking
- 47:14Speaker 2: for problems. You're asking for someone to mess with your car.
- 47:18Speaker 3: Sammy, you brought up small towns that people don't lock
- 47:20Speaker 3: their doors and windows. And then if something happens and
- 47:22Speaker 3: they're in the news, like some crime happened or a murder,
- 47:25Speaker 3: and they say, well, now we're going to start locking
- 47:27Speaker 3: our windows and doors. Even if I lived in a
- 47:29Speaker 3: podunk town, why would you go to bed without locking
- 47:32Speaker 3: your door?
- 47:32Speaker 2: I know, that's weird.
- 47:33Speaker 3: I don't get that.
- 47:34Speaker 11: I never saw a key to any of the houses
- 47:36Speaker 11: I ever lived in. Not only did we not lock
- 47:38Speaker 11: them at night, we didn't lock them during the.
- 47:40Speaker 2: Day if no one was there.
- 47:41Speaker 8: Our house was never locked.
- 47:43Speaker 3: Weird.
- 47:43Speaker 8: That's crazy.
- 47:44Speaker 10: Very weird.
- 47:44Speaker 2: That's so strange. It's so strange that she lived in safety.
- 47:48Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 47:48Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean, it's because there was never a reason
- 47:52Speaker 11: to lock the door. And we had people in and out.
- 47:53Speaker 11: There was a lot of people in our family.
- 47:55Speaker 3: The reason is so people don't walk in.
- 47:57Speaker 11: But when has anyone just walked into your house?
- 48:00Speaker 3: Well, when it happens, they just say, damn it, we
- 48:02Speaker 3: should have locked the door.
- 48:03Speaker 2: No, I always thought that was funny.
- 48:04Speaker 11: I had a friend who the door to their house
- 48:07Speaker 11: was always locked when they were home. When they weren't home,
- 48:09Speaker 11: it was always locked. And even when I was on
- 48:11Speaker 11: my way over and they knew I was coming over,
- 48:13Speaker 11: the door would still be locked and I'd have to
- 48:15Speaker 11: knock and wait for them to come unlock the door.
- 48:17Speaker 8: That's pretty normal.
- 48:18Speaker 15: Really?
- 48:19Speaker 13: Yes.
- 48:19Speaker 3: That's insanely normal.
- 48:21Speaker 5: My grandparents' house, they didn't start locking the doors until
- 48:23Speaker 5: like the mid-90s.
- 48:24Speaker 3: Really?
- 48:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:27Speaker 3: I can't imagine somebody coming to my house and just
- 48:29Speaker 3: walking in.
- 48:29Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 48:30Speaker 11: Well, if you know I'm on my way, yeah, I'd
- 48:31Speaker 11: be like, hey, I'm here.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Okay, so in your super safe, probably guard-gated community, you
- 48:37Speaker 2: didn't lock the front door, right?
- 48:39Speaker 3: Okay.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Yeah, you know those guards you had out front? Yes, yes.
- 48:44Speaker 2: All the guards. That's why we were safe. You know,
- 48:47Speaker 2: Woody and my family, they live in a small town,
- 48:49Speaker 2: never lock the doors, leaves the truck running at the
- 48:52Speaker 2: grocery store. All right, you know, I've seen those in movies. Well, hey,
- 48:56Speaker 2: try that in a small town is what I say.
- 48:57Speaker 2: But that wasn't, again, that wasn't what I was asking about.
- 49:00Speaker 2: I'm not living in a small town. For the average Joe.
- 49:04Speaker 2: These are all outliers. It wasn't super hot. You know
- 49:05Speaker 2: what I mean?
- 49:06Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 49:07Speaker 2: I'm sure there's a thing here and there like why
- 49:09Speaker 2: maybe you wouldn't. This isn't in the 1950s.
- 49:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:11Speaker 2: I would get it like back in the blockbuster days
- 49:13Speaker 2: when you go to return a video and, you know,
- 49:16Speaker 2: you just got out to throw a little movie into
- 49:17Speaker 2: the slot.
- 49:18Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 49:19Speaker 2: And left the car running. Get it. I get it.
- 49:21Speaker 2: I'll keep your beer cold.
- 49:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:23Speaker 2: All right. 877-44-WOODY. You can send us a text. Do
- 49:26Speaker 2: that over to 22987. All right. So here's a question.
- 49:31Speaker 2: What is something I get? I get raked over the
- 49:34Speaker 2: coals all the time for my love of things that
- 49:36Speaker 2: a lot of people hate. Candy corn. Yeah.
- 49:39Speaker 3: Circus Venus.
- 49:39Speaker 2: Just as an example, candy corn, right? What is something
- 49:44Speaker 2: that everyone hates but you love? Oh. So you love it,
- 49:49Speaker 2: but everybody else, not so much. What is that thing
- 49:54Speaker 2: for you, personally? You can hit us with your answer
- 49:59Speaker 2: on the text, 22987. You can call in 877-44-WOODY. Something
- 50:04Speaker 2: you love, but everybody else seems to hate.
- 50:09Speaker 3: Okay.
- 50:11Speaker 2: 877-44-WOODY. Maybe you love backing in. Oh, well, that's not... No,
- 50:16Speaker 2: I know. We brought that up before. Very stupid to
- 50:19Speaker 2: be against that. Don't get it.
- 50:21Speaker 12: I've told you a thousand times, you're just refusing to
- 50:24Speaker 12: get it. You're literally, you are literally at this point
- 50:26Speaker 12: refusing to get, cause I've explained the five or six
- 50:29Speaker 12: different superior reasons why you do that.
- 50:32Speaker 2: That's not an answer. It is when we're not going
- 50:35Speaker 2: to like go into it further. No, it's Seabass, you're correct.
- 50:38Speaker 2: I concede. No, not conceding.
- 50:40Speaker 6: No.
- 50:40Speaker 2: Cause that's not, that's not the answer in that situation. No,
- 50:44Speaker 2: cause either we're going to take the time to then
- 50:45Speaker 2: get back and forth on it, which we're not going
- 50:47Speaker 2: to do.
- 50:49Speaker 5: You should have absorbed that and said, Seabass, you're correct.
- 50:51Speaker 2: I concede.
- 50:51Speaker 5: Nope.
- 50:53Speaker 2: Not doing that either. I get it.
- 50:54Speaker 5: Now you're just being obstinate.
- 50:56Speaker 3: Abstinent. Abstinent, yes.
- 50:58Speaker 2: I can make the same argument for you not seeing
- 51:00Speaker 2: my side.
- 51:01Speaker 5: No, you can't, because your side's wrong. Your side's wrong.
- 51:04Speaker 2: Nope, your side's wrong.
- 51:05Speaker 5: When their side gets dismantled.
- 51:06Speaker 2: Nope, your side's wrong. Do people even know what you're
- 51:09Speaker 2: talking about right now? Backing into parking spots.
- 51:11Speaker 12: When your side gets dismantled, and then they say, well,
- 51:13Speaker 12: you haven't... No, I've proven that your side is wrong.
- 51:16Speaker 12: Abandon your position and concede.
- 51:18Speaker 2: Okay.
- 51:19Speaker 3: There you go.
- 51:19Speaker 2: Exactly. What is something that you love... That everybody else
- 51:23Speaker 2: seems to hate. 877-44-WOODY. Just unapologetically, you love it. Who
- 51:28Speaker 2: cares what everybody else says?
- 51:30Speaker 3: What everybody else thinks.
- 51:32Speaker 2: Peeps is another good one on the text.
- 51:35Speaker 8: Good example.
- 51:35Speaker 2: Those are good. That's another one I get crap for liking.
- 51:38Speaker 2: I like peeps.
- 51:39Speaker 3: No, you're wrong.
- 51:41Speaker 15: Nope.
- 51:42Speaker 2: Concede, Greg. All right, so what's something that you... unapologetically
- 51:49Speaker 2: loved that everybody else seems to hate I mean CBass
- 51:52Speaker 2: I would assume Cybertruck would be one of those.
- 51:55Speaker 12: It is fashionable and hilarious and everyone's always laughing when
- 51:59Speaker 12: you do it but as Greg has experienced when you
- 52:03Speaker 12: get inside those things they're roomy they're faster 0-60 in
- 52:08Speaker 12: 2.6 seconds I think.
- 52:10Speaker 2: It's more the look though.
- 52:11Speaker 8: That's what people don't like on the outside they look badass.
- 52:15Speaker 3: Too no the interior is very nice The exterior is
- 52:20Speaker 3: legally laughably stupid.
- 52:22Speaker 2: I'm not arguing any of the other stuff that you
- 52:24Speaker 2: say about the Cybertruck, but from the outside when you
- 52:26Speaker 2: look at it, you're like, God, what a dumb fucking vehicle.
- 52:29Speaker 5: I get people walking up. I had two this week,
- 52:31Speaker 5: including one female.
- 52:32Speaker 2: Thank you. She wasn't hot. But who walk up and said, man,
- 52:35Speaker 2: the way you got that set up, it looks really nice.
- 52:38Speaker 2: The lines are sleek. Very, very impressive. So there are
- 52:40Speaker 2: those out there. It's like saying she's got a cute face.
- 52:42Speaker 2: I'm with Steve Vasto. It's an easy joke for unfunny people.
- 52:45Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 52:46Speaker 8: Look, they're ugly cars. You made yours ugly. better looking.
- 52:49Speaker 2: I will disagree with that.
- 52:51Speaker 8: You didn't make it better looking?
- 52:52Speaker 5: As a matter of taste.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Menace, what is something you unapologetically love that everybody else
- 52:58Speaker 2: seems to hate?
- 52:58Speaker 5: Well, I think just the easy one is reality television.
- 53:02Speaker 5: People pretend that they're above it and they don't know
- 53:07Speaker 5: anything about it, but yet they know all the people
- 53:10Speaker 5: that are on reality television and they seem to know, like,
- 53:17Speaker 5: the storylines of certain things. Like, what's going on with
- 53:19Speaker 5: the Kardashians and all that kind of stuff. And they
- 53:21Speaker 5: said that, you know, they're constantly exposed to it. It's
- 53:24Speaker 5: pretty easy to avoid certain things if you want to.
- 53:27Speaker 3: I agree.
- 53:27Speaker 5: I don't know anything about it except what Menace says.
- 53:29Speaker 2: Exactly. The only insight I have to any of that stuff,
- 53:32Speaker 2: I go, who is that? Is when Menace brings something
- 53:35Speaker 2: up about one of these people, I'm like, all right,
- 53:37Speaker 2: What world is that from? Is that music?
- 53:41Speaker 5: They say it's garbage, but yet they want to talk
- 53:44Speaker 5: about it because they know things.
- 53:46Speaker 2: It's just odd.
- 53:48Speaker 3: I do that.
- 53:48Speaker 11: I can talk about it because I have so many
- 53:50Speaker 11: girls in my life who watch it and will update
- 53:53Speaker 11: me on the drama, but I cannot. I can't sit
- 53:57Speaker 11: through a show. It drives me insane.
- 53:59Speaker 2: It's weird.
- 54:00Speaker 5: When it does come to reality television, I'm not really
- 54:03Speaker 5: into a lot of reality competition shows. Like, Jeff's like
- 54:08Speaker 5: really into Survivor, Big Brother.
- 54:10Speaker 8: You're just there for the drama.
- 54:11Speaker 5: Yeah, I just want, you know, the cattiness fighting of it. Yeah,
- 54:14Speaker 5: all that. But I am into the dancing with the
- 54:18Speaker 5: stars has pulled me in, man. I kind of like it. Yeah,
- 54:22Speaker 5: but I haven't followed it so much that I know
- 54:25Speaker 5: like every single person.
- 54:25Speaker 2: Again, my question, like what about it? Like dancing with
- 54:29Speaker 2: the stars in particular.
- 54:31Speaker 5: Just the people that are like actually... let's say they've
- 54:36Speaker 5: done gymnastics and things like that where they do like
- 54:39Speaker 5: kind of acrobatic things. Like I told you, like I
- 54:41Speaker 5: like the girl that is a Olympic gold medalist for
- 54:47Speaker 5: ice skating, right? Like she does things and dance that
- 54:50Speaker 5: I've never seen before.
- 54:52Speaker 2: But that's what brought you into the show? That's why
- 54:54Speaker 2: you turned it on?
- 54:55Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 54:56Speaker 5: And then now there's drama, like which the drama comes into.
- 55:00Speaker 8: So he likes the music, the dancing, and the costumes,
- 55:02Speaker 8: but not musical theater.
- 55:04Speaker 2: No, I didn't even mention the music. Yeah, but isn't
- 55:07Speaker 2: that part of Dancing with the Stars? You don't like musicals, right?
- 55:09Speaker 2: I did like Rent.
- 55:10Speaker 3: Okay.
- 55:11Speaker 2: He does reference that. That's like his Jamarcus Russell.
- 55:15Speaker 5: Who knows that song by heart?
- 55:18Speaker 2: 525,600 minutes.
- 55:20Speaker 5: But it was so big when I was in high school.
- 55:22Speaker 5: It was kind of unavoidable. Yeah.
- 55:23Speaker 2: All right, Gregory, what's something you unapologetically love that everybody
- 55:26Speaker 2: else seems to hate?
- 55:27Speaker 3: Some things, plural. I made a quick list. Secondhand smoke.
- 55:30Speaker 3: Love it.
- 55:31Speaker 2: I do too.
- 55:32Speaker 3: I love it.
- 55:32Speaker 2: I do like that. It reminds me of my grandparents.
- 55:35Speaker 3: Just the best smell. If I'm a passenger, not the driver,
- 55:39Speaker 3: if I'm a passenger, traffic, because I'm such a nervous
- 55:42Speaker 3: passenger and I feel like traffic is safe.
- 55:44Speaker 8: It'll slow you down.
- 55:46Speaker 3: I love, a lot of people hate preparing raw meat,
- 55:50Speaker 3: like when they have to salt and pepper it and
- 55:52Speaker 3: rub oil on it. I love raw meat.
- 55:54Speaker 2: And then.
- 55:56Speaker 3: The tattoo that goes from the back of the ear
- 55:59Speaker 3: and then down the neck, like a long, thin tattoo,
- 56:03Speaker 3: I think that looks so good.
- 56:04Speaker 1: Greg, gory.
- 56:05Speaker 2: I really like that. So you like that, but you
- 56:06Speaker 2: don't like any kind of nose ring. That's interesting. I
- 56:09Speaker 2: would put that in the same category.
- 56:11Speaker 3: No, it almost looks like a Secret Service earpiece, like a...
- 56:14Speaker 3: cord when it comes down. I think it looks really cool.
- 56:18Speaker 12: You could argue for that because it mimics the natural
- 56:21Speaker 12: flow of hair, at least. It's a natural aesthetic where you're.
- 56:24Speaker 5: Just cramming crap in your nose.
- 56:25Speaker 3: It's gross.
- 56:25Speaker 2: Also, good-looking people tend to have it.
- 56:28Speaker 3: Right.
- 56:29Speaker 2: Usually.
- 56:30Speaker 3: And then on the food one uh i love liverwurst
- 56:32Speaker 3: and i love beets and when people say beets taste
- 56:35Speaker 3: like dirt you're insane.
- 56:36Speaker 8: They don't taste like dirt they taste like earth they're earthy.
- 56:39Speaker 2: Something you unapologetically love that everybody seems to hate i
- 56:43Speaker 2: also have.
- 56:43Speaker 8: A very quick list i'll go quickly ingrown hairs i
- 56:46Speaker 8: know everybody hates them but if you will let me
- 56:48Speaker 8: take them out i will be the happiest person in
- 56:50Speaker 8: the world i cannot watch people pop zits i've never
- 56:53Speaker 8: popped as it i don't like anything that has to
- 56:54Speaker 8: do with that but i will what's the difference it's
- 56:57Speaker 8: Because it's pussy and it's liquid. Ingrown hair is just
- 56:59Speaker 8: the hair that you get to pull out, which is
- 57:01Speaker 8: the best.
- 57:01Speaker 2: With ingrown hair, there's usually like pus and stuff involved.
- 57:03Speaker 8: That doesn't bother me, but I cannot pop zits, but
- 57:05Speaker 8: I love ingrown hairs. Also, I love writing thank you notes.
- 57:09Speaker 8: I know people think it's a chore, but I love
- 57:11Speaker 8: to sit down and I have my stamps and my
- 57:13Speaker 8: envelopes and I get to tell people what I appreciate
- 57:15Speaker 8: about them. I love writing them. I was bad at
- 57:17Speaker 8: them as a kid. I've done a 180. All right.
- 57:20Speaker 8: Getting super glue on my skin. I love that.
- 57:22Speaker 2: Really?
- 57:23Speaker 1: Yes.
- 57:24Speaker 8: Love, love, love, love peeling it off. And finally, this
- 57:27Speaker 8: is only going to apply to people who watch Breaking Bad,
- 57:29Speaker 8: but I know I'm in the minority. I love Skylar White.
- 57:33Speaker 8: And I know it's cool to hate her. Even Bryan
- 57:36Speaker 8: Cranston said, what's wrong with everybody? Like, I'm the bad
- 57:39Speaker 8: guy and everyone hates her, what, because she's a rag?
- 57:42Speaker 8: She's clever. She's a victim. She's smart. She tries her
- 57:45Speaker 8: best to get out of this stuff. She's not like...
- 57:48Speaker 8: She comes up with these creative solutions and everybody hated
- 57:51Speaker 8: her for no reason.
- 57:52Speaker 2: I will say the reason is she was a rag.
- 57:53Speaker 8: No, but that is the typical cliche response that everybody says.
- 57:59Speaker 2: See, now you sound the way that he sounds when
- 58:01Speaker 2: you just can't acknowledge that people just don't like her.
- 58:04Speaker 8: For legitimate reasons.
- 58:05Speaker 2: The same way he can't acknowledge that people just don't
- 58:07Speaker 2: like the look of the Cybertruck.
- 58:08Speaker 3: She's a rag.
- 58:09Speaker 2: I'll explain it specifically. Okay.
- 58:12Speaker 12: She was just nasty and negative to him at every scene.
- 58:16Speaker 12: I get it if you're running a giant drug kingpin,
- 58:18Speaker 12: you don't want your husband in that kind of danger.
- 58:20Speaker 12: But just everything else, she was on his ass all
- 58:23Speaker 12: the time for no good reason.
- 58:25Speaker 2: He's just trying to provide.
- 58:26Speaker 8: No good reason. It's her family and her life that
- 58:28Speaker 8: she's going to go to prison over.
- 58:29Speaker 3: She finds out she's married to a drug-making murderer.
- 58:31Speaker 8: No good reason she's a rat.
- 58:32Speaker 2: I'm talking about the end of it. And she's supposed
- 58:34Speaker 2: to be like, no, it's okay. I specifically said not that.
- 58:39Speaker 2: I said just leading up to that.
- 58:40Speaker 12: Well, when she didn't know any of that stuff, when
- 58:41Speaker 12: he's out just like, he's got cancer.
- 58:43Speaker 3: It comes to light, not early, but she finds out.
- 58:47Speaker 3: And then there's still plenty of show left.
- 58:49Speaker 2: And I know rest in peace, but the son was
- 58:51Speaker 2: the same way. He was just a pain in the
- 58:53Speaker 2: ass in every scene he was in.
- 58:54Speaker 8: Then not the actor.
- 58:55Speaker 3: Oh, he was trying to raise money and everything.
- 58:56Speaker 2: He should have ghosted him a long time ago. Let's
- 59:00Speaker 2: say hi to Frank.
- 59:01Speaker 3: Hey, Frank. Hey, guys.
- 59:04Speaker 2: Hey, what's something you were doing great? What's something you
- 59:07Speaker 2: unapologetically love, but everybody else seems to hate? I, for
- 59:12Speaker 2: some stupid reason, love those Christmas rom-coms on Netflix, Lifetime, Hallmark. Oh.
- 59:18Speaker 2: The cheesier, the better. Yep, you're right there with Sammy. But,
- 59:21Speaker 2: I mean, Sammy's supposed to. Look at her.
- 59:23Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 59:23Speaker 2: Now, Frank, I don't know what you look like, but
- 59:25Speaker 2: I'm sure I would look at you and go, really?
- 59:27Speaker 2: You don't say. I would have never guessed that. Like, Yeah,
- 59:30Speaker 2: but rom-coms I like.
- 59:32Speaker 3: The less you think, the better the movie.
- 59:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 59:34Speaker 2: All right, Frank, thanks for the call. Also, those suspense
- 59:38Speaker 2: thrillers and all that stuff. Oh, yeah, those are cool.
- 59:41Speaker 3: Those are great, too.
- 59:42Speaker 2: But I think a lot of people like those. I
- 59:44Speaker 2: could see, as a dude especially, you're not supposed to
- 59:47Speaker 2: like rom-coms. I don't like rom-coms. But I dig those.
- 59:51Speaker 2: the Hallmark movie stuff no not those are like so
- 59:54Speaker 2: bad but.
- 59:54Speaker 8: What kind of rom-com like how to lose a man
- 59:57Speaker 8: in 10 days like.
- 59:58Speaker 12: I've never seen those in Seattle oh and you liked
- 1:00:01Speaker 12: Serendipity yeah you liked that which one oh Serendipity yeah.
- 1:00:04Speaker 8: But I mean like the kind of screwball ones did.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: You watch the Lindsay Lohan Christmas special that Netflix put
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: out no that was a banger like nah bang out
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: falling for christmas 877 44 winning uh we'll get we'll
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: get back there's a lot more feedback coming it's something
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: you unapologetically love but everybody else seems to hate what
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: is it 877 44 what a the woody show all.
- 1:00:24Speaker 13: Right what's something you unapologetically love that everybody else seems
- 1:00:30Speaker 13: to hate um One thing I'll mention for Greg, Greg
- 1:00:35Speaker 13: likes when he has a reservation for a restaurant and
- 1:00:37Speaker 13: he gets there and they tell him it's going to
- 1:00:39Speaker 13: be another 15 or 20 minutes.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: That's insane. He loves that.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: If they have a bar, who cares? Make it an hour.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: Let's see. Texture says, mine is the dentist. I feel
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: like I'm getting pampered. Yes, I agree with that.
- 1:00:53Speaker 8: I love the dentist.
- 1:00:54Speaker 11: I'll fall asleep right in the chair. My teeth feel
- 1:00:56Speaker 11: so clean after.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: It's the best. I do fall asleep in the chair. Really?
- 1:01:01Speaker 10: Never.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: As they're doing stuff.
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: No way.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: The other thing that I love that I know a
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: lot of people don't like, Novocaine. I've said that before. Oh,
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: I hate it. I love Novocaine. I hate it. What
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: about it?
- 1:01:11Speaker 8: You like being drooly?
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: The unusual feeling?
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: I like the feeling. Yeah. No, I like the, no,
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: it's not the biting the cheek. I like, um, cause
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: I got facial hair.
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: So when I have Novocaine, I like, I like touching
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: my face on that side. It feels so weird. I
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: love it. And also like, you know, I love it
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: because they can do the work and stuff and you
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: don't feel it. So that's good.
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: I still feel it.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: The discomfort of whatever the dental work that's going on.
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: I think everybody in this room likes colonoscopies, right?
- 1:01:38Speaker 8: I do. You made me a fan.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Well, we like propofol. It's the propofol.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: Yeah. It's so cozy.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: To be specific. Let's see. This text says, absolutely love
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: the smell of patchouli. I don't like patchouli.
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: I don't know if I know what it smells like.
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: It's kind of musky.
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: Incense-y. Do a lot of people not like incense? Because
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: I love the smell of incense.
- 1:02:00Speaker 14: I do, too.
- 1:02:01Speaker 8: But patchouli is kind of dirty smelling.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: Is it just because of what you associate it with?
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: I think that's it. Like the smell is not bad.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: It's just what you associate it with, like a dirty
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: hippie kind of.
- 1:02:12Speaker 8: I just don't love the smell of patchouli.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: Greg, you mentioned anchovies, a lot of that on the text.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: People like them. They just don't know what they like.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: No one's even had them. A lot of people, I've
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: seen a couple of these and I know Gina, you
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: had just mentioned it too. This is my go-to ice
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: cream flavor is mint chocolate chip. And none of my
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: friends like it, so I have to hear it every time. Like, ew,
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: you like that?
- 1:02:33Speaker 8: Everybody loves mint chip.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: Not everybody. That was my go-to as a kid.
- 1:02:37Speaker 8: Yeah, I love it.
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: That was my ice cream that I got every single time.
- 1:02:40Speaker 8: But who's grossed out by mint chip?
- 1:02:42Speaker 11: I don't like it.
- 1:02:43Speaker 9: I hate it.
- 1:02:43Speaker 11: But I feel like I'm in the minority of not
- 1:02:45Speaker 11: liking it.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: You are, yes. So, Sammy, what's yours? Something you unapologetically
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: love but everybody seems to hate.
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: Hallmark movies?
- 1:02:50Speaker 11: I love, well, no, because that's in my wheelhouse, I
- 1:02:53Speaker 11: feel like. But yes, Hallmark movies. I love putting furniture together.
- 1:02:58Speaker 11: I love it.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: Leave me alone.
- 1:03:00Speaker 11: I'm going to put on music and put together tables, chairs,
- 1:03:03Speaker 11: a console, whatever. If I come over and you're like, hey,
- 1:03:07Speaker 11: I have this thing to put together. I really don't
- 1:03:09Speaker 11: want to do it. I will volunteer. I will put
- 1:03:11Speaker 11: it together for you. Give me an hour, however long
- 1:03:13Speaker 11: it takes.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: I love it. With little stupid hex wrenches or what? Yes.
- 1:03:16Speaker 8: Barely real tools. Yes.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: Because she has tiny little hands, she can put her.
- 1:03:21Speaker 11: Yeah, it can take a long time, but I love it.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: That's why she likes sewing and knitting, because she has
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: these little tiny, you know... Elf hands that she can
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: build with. She's got those sweatshop hands. This is my superpower.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: On the text, something else that people love, that you love,
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: that everybody else seems to hate. I like soggy french fries.
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: Gross. Like the bottom of the bag at Five Guys. Yeah.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: Jury duty.
- 1:03:44Speaker 11: No.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: Everyone calls me crazy, but I absolutely love Chef Boyardee ravioli.
- 1:03:51Speaker 8: I mean, they're great.
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: That's not terrible. It was as a kid.
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: There's no need for it anymore.
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: 714 texting over black licorice.
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: Ugh.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: Liar.
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: You hate it.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: Everybody hates it. Something I love that everybody seems to
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: hate is the airport. I love getting to the airport early,
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: reading a good book, eating some of the airport food,
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: having a drink.
- 1:04:09Speaker 8: I kind of get that. I don't mind the airport.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: Yeah, when people talk about it, they hate traveling. My
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: wife will complain, even if it's going somewhere where she likes,
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: and it's about, I've got to get to the airport
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: and get on a plane. I'm like, who cares?
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: Team Jen.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: I enjoy it.
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: It's terrible.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: Liver and onions.
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: That's good.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: Getting some people on the tech. Another one, I love
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: burnt popcorn. Ew. Yeah, burnt popcorn. It doesn't really, because
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: with other burnt things, there's a nice smokiness. It's so
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: acrid and sour.
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: Everybody say hi to Bob.
- 1:04:41Speaker 8: Bob.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: Oh, guys, good morning.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: What up?
- 1:04:44Speaker 9: All right, man.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: So what's something you unapologetically love that everybody else seems
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: to hate? Nickelback. Dude, you know what? I'm right there
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: with you.
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: I like that.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: I don't love Nickelback. I like Nickelback. I think Nickelback
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: has a lot of good songs. I will say the
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: same thing, another one. Creed. Exactly.
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: A lot of unjustified hate.
- 1:05:01Speaker 15: I've only been listening to you guys for just a
- 1:05:02Speaker 15: couple of weeks, and you guys freaking rock.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: I dig it.
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: I love that.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: Bob, thank you so much for the call. Appreciate you
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: participating in the show. Have yourself a great day. There's Bob, everybody.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: Bye.
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: Bye.
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: Bye.
- 1:05:14Speaker 14: Bye.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: It was a good bomb. Yeah, it was the best. 877-44-WOODY.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Text us over to 229-87-more. Woody's show's name.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: I'm not wearing a helmet.
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: Not going to wear a helmet.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: No, like straight up, you guys are idiots. The Woody Show.
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: We'll be right back.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: All right, CBass, what do you got for us this
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: week in audio?
- 1:05:39Speaker 12: Let's start with giving Woody a solid and rock-hard one
- 1:05:44Speaker 12: as we have tasing audio.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:05:47Speaker 12: Fun with accents edition. This is a British police Bobby who...
- 1:05:51Speaker 12: There's a guy.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: Just hanging out in McDonald's with a machete threatening to
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: cut people's arms off. I love tasering videos. In fact,
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: I watched one.
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: It was like.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: They were doing military training, and so all the recruits,
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: they all had to get held on the side. It
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: was like a compilation video. Seriously, it must have been
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: 10 minutes long. I watched the whole thing. You can
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: never be ready for it. You can think you're ready.
- 1:06:11Speaker 5: You can think you're ready.
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: They're like, ah! Oh, God, no.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: All right, well, this kid, this guy, he's.
- 1:06:14Speaker 5: Got his machete, and the police, they tell him, as
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: they do in Britain, taser, taser.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: At the minute, mate, you're under arrest on suspicion of robbery,
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: all right, so you don't have to say anything, but
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: it may harm the defense, but you don't have to
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: answer my question.
- 1:06:25Speaker 9: I've got a taser!
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: Stop fighting!
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: Taser, taser, taser!
- 1:06:28Speaker 14: Taser, taser!
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: Nice.
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: See, it doesn't work unless they're screaming too.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: That's awesome. I like the.
- 1:06:45Speaker 12: Beginning where she's like reading him his rights as he's running.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: She's trying to rush it and get it all in. Yeah,
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: I love that. This Week in Audio. More fun with
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: British accents. So this mom is playing a little prank
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: on her little toddler. And she gives him her phone,
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: but she's got it set up where there's going to
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: be like a ghost that pops up, like one of
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: those filters.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 1:07:04Speaker 12: So she gives him the phone, knowing that he's going
- 1:07:06Speaker 12: to see that there's a ghost behind him to get
- 1:07:08Speaker 12: his reaction as he's telling his mom why he loves her.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: Right, when I leave the room, tell the camera what
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: you like about mommy, okay?
- 1:07:13Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:07:14Speaker 10: Go.
- 1:07:15Speaker 14: I like about my mom about pirate ship.
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: And I.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: Oh, s * * t.
- 1:07:23Speaker 10: Oh, s * * t.
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: It was hiding. Oh, my gosh.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Oh, s * * t.
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:07:28Speaker 9: That's me.
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: So mellow.
- 1:07:29Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: Oh, there's a ghost behind me, Mom.
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: Oh, yes.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: He lives here now, Mommy.
- 1:07:34Speaker 12: And what a great little boy thing. What do you
- 1:07:36Speaker 12: love about your mom? I love that I talk to
- 1:07:37Speaker 12: her about pirate ships.
- 1:07:38Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: Attracts.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: Yeah. This week in audio.
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: Oh, in more British news. We've got so much of this.
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: Ellen DeGeneres, she lives there now.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: And she went on the Grand Norton Show, which is
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: a very fun show, just for the fun of it.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: And she talked here about Sammy, what might be her
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: British TV comeback.
- 1:07:57Speaker 6: There are shows here that I'm just shocked that someone
- 1:08:00Speaker 6: went and sold it. There's a sewing show. So you're
- 1:08:03Speaker 6: watching someone sew. There's a pottery show where I mow
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: every day. I like to mow.
- 1:08:11Speaker 8: I can call it lawn and order.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Oh, nice.
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: Pause break for long. Dude, I went to the area
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: that she lives in and it's so weird because all
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: they have is a zip code. And then you go
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: to the neighborhood and each like house just has a name.
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: And then you're just supposed to drive around the neighborhood
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: until you find the house.
- 1:08:32Speaker 8: That people live in.
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: The name of the estate?
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: Yeah, because I had to go meet up with somebody
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: and I just typed in the Uber and it was
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: just the zip code and that's it.
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: Oh, so there's no street address. Yeah. You get to
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: the town and then from there you gotta figure it out.
- 1:08:45Speaker 5: You just drive around looking at the houses.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: It was a cool area though. It's crazy like how
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: much people loved Ellen at one point. Oh, she could
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: do no wrong. And now I feel like all I
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: see is just people like just.
- 1:08:57Speaker 8: Ishing on her.
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: Well they're not ishing on her they're just telling like
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: all these stories are coming.
- 1:09:01Speaker 12: Out yeah i think the nda is up we're now
- 1:09:03Speaker 12: on the back side of that though so like there
- 1:09:05Speaker 12: is the hate hate hate which again i agreed with
- 1:09:06Speaker 12: i don't like ellen but i feel like why did
- 1:09:08Speaker 12: she lose her job hate now we're.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: That when all that came now she's on the upswing
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: we're like you're like.
- 1:09:13Speaker 12: Yeah oh we actually liked her so give it two
- 1:09:16Speaker 12: three years Yeah.
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: Because she didn't really do anything. She'll be back with
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: a sewing show, I guess.
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:09:21Speaker 11: Well, the lawn show.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: Lawn order. Ellen's estate is called Kitesbridge Farm. Hello. This
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: week in audio.
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:09:30Speaker 12: Speaking of people who made a comeback, Carrot Top had
- 1:09:32Speaker 12: his first show back after he tried to not do things.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: Unalive himself, as the kids say these days. And here
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: he comes back, and I'll give him credit. He had
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: jokes about it.
- 1:09:45Speaker 9: Thank you very.
- 1:09:52Speaker 10: Much.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: Seriously, thanks for coming.
- 1:09:54Speaker 10: How do you follow that?
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: You've seen my show. You're like, what's the joke? What
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: do you pull out of your trunk? What is appropriate?
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: What's not appropriate? It's been a month of trying to
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: figure out what's appropriate, so I figured this probably would
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: be not appropriate.
- 1:10:07Speaker 5: It's a chicken, rubber chicken with a noose around it.
- 1:10:10Speaker 5: That's good stuff. I mean, appropriate for Carrot Top.
- 1:10:13Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: Shout out to Carrot Top. This Week in Audio. Okay.
- 1:10:17Speaker 12: Well, seeing as how the Woody show has now become
- 1:10:20Speaker 12: the official Blueface show of record. Thanks to Morgan and
- 1:10:26Speaker 12: Menace being part of it. Big fans of Blueface. If
- 1:10:28Speaker 12: you folks don't know, he's a rapper who now does
- 1:10:30Speaker 12: live streaming. Makes six figures a month apparently off that.
- 1:10:33Speaker 12: He was at a local chain restaurant and doing his
- 1:10:37Speaker 12: live stream.
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: And he got swatted.
- 1:10:40Speaker 12: What that means is someone, they can figure out where
- 1:10:42Speaker 12: you are. They'll say, they'll call the police. This is
- 1:10:43Speaker 12: very illegal, by the way. They'll say, hey, somebody's got
- 1:10:45Speaker 12: a gun at XYZ restaurant.
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: Please help. I'm scared. It happens a lot with these
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: live streams.
- 1:10:51Speaker 12: And the point of that being is that when the
- 1:10:52Speaker 12: police hear that, they show up. with the tactical squad.
- 1:10:56Speaker 12: They're like, there's an active shooter, this is bad, this
- 1:10:58Speaker 12: is the worst.
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: I think the report was there was a guy dressed
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: as a traffic cone waving a gun.
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:11:02Speaker 12: Because now, the extra wrinkle is Blueface and his wife
- 1:11:05Speaker 12: and their friends and their baby are all dressed like
- 1:11:08Speaker 12: the Incredibles.
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: It's an insane situation.
- 1:11:11Speaker 12: You've got this rapper with crap all over his face
- 1:11:12Speaker 12: dressed like a Pixar character with police showing up, guns drawn,
- 1:11:17Speaker 12: it's an absolute maniac scene.
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: So what do you do when that happens?
- 1:11:20Speaker 12: Well, you yell at the cops and you tell them
- 1:11:22Speaker 12: that they're being ridiculous.
- 1:11:23Speaker 5: And that's the audio we have here from the live stream.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: Oh, f * * * you! Look, you weren't in trouble.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: You know what I mean? But by all means, just
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: do whatever they're telling you to do. You know you
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: didn't do anything. We're not going to be calm. Well,
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: guess what? That doesn't help. You better be. Being calm
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: is the best thing to do right now. You weren't
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: in trouble, but you're about to be.
- 1:12:01Speaker 8: Yeah, and F you.
- 1:12:02Speaker 12: He's mouthing off. So Blueface, he's got to spend the
- 1:12:04Speaker 12: night in jail. He's shocking, Greg. He's on parole or probation.
- 1:12:08Speaker 10: Already.
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: Okay, so you're talking about reality shows, but this is
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: the kind of stuff that you like?
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: This?
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: This does it for you?
- 1:12:15Speaker 5: No, I'm not into this, but I'm just aware of it.
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: So you're making the distinction between you don't like competition shows,
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: but you like the drama kind of stuff.
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: Yeah. This is high drama.
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: Stupid drama.
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: Yeah, kids.
- 1:12:28Speaker 5: This is what stupid teenagers do.
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: And oftentimes they get good, if they can find them,
- 1:12:32Speaker 5: they get really good jail sentences.
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: Oh, that's cool. It's a felony. Yeah, it's fun.
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: Now, okay.
- 1:12:36Speaker 12: So Chris Shawn, and the reason we know Chris Shawn
- 1:12:38Speaker 12: is she was the main event in Morgan's boxing fight
- 1:12:40Speaker 12: from a number of months ago. She's Blueface's wife.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: Or if you watch the Zeus Network. Yeah, or if
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: you watch the Zeus Network.
- 1:12:46Speaker 12: Mother of his baby. Now, Chris Sean, she does her
- 1:12:48Speaker 12: own live stream, and she was getting crap from the
- 1:12:51Speaker 12: chat about how, why didn't you help your man, like,
- 1:12:54Speaker 12: as if she was supposed to do anything. She says,
- 1:12:56Speaker 12: guess what?
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: I was there.
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: We were there with our baby at this restaurant, and I,
- 1:13:00Speaker 5: the mother of that baby, I did something.
- 1:13:02Speaker 10: When I seen him take out the gun and point
- 1:13:04Speaker 10: it towards Blue, bitch, I went and got the baby
- 1:13:07Speaker 10: from the car seat and walked out front of the gun, man.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: That's some G, what are you talking about? I'm sticking
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: with you like a family. Them had a gun in
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: your face. I seen your mouth, you kept mouthing real bad.
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: Cause they deserved it. Why the fuck do they have
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: a gun on you? So I used the baby as
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: a human shield. So yeah. Yeah, that's real G-ish. I
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: wasn't following.
- 1:13:28Speaker 8: She did, she got it out of the car.
- 1:13:30Speaker 12: Yeah, I went to the car. The baby was safe
- 1:13:32Speaker 12: in the car seat with, again, guns drawn. As far
- 1:13:35Speaker 12: as the cops know, a live shooting scene. Grabbed the
- 1:13:37Speaker 12: baby and went out and yelled at the cops with
- 1:13:39Speaker 12: my man.
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: Oh because we're a family lucky baby like yeah we
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: get everybody we get the kids and then on the
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: end of that she's like I'm jumping in.
- 1:13:47Speaker 12: And then she's defending the man Blueface the cops deserve
- 1:13:51Speaker 12: to be screamed at the cops don't know.
- 1:13:53Speaker 7: Who the hell you are they don't even know why
- 1:13:55Speaker 7: they got called in and then we got in the
- 1:13:57Speaker 7: latest update oh see help us out the latest update
- 1:13:59Speaker 7: there was another live stream where they're talking to each
- 1:14:03Speaker 7: other and Blueface was saying how much he loved her
- 1:14:05Speaker 7: and then like a couple minutes later they got in
- 1:14:07Speaker 7: some argument and now they're broken.
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: Up oh no I See, I think what a lot
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: of people hate about it, they hate that people like
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: this can make any kind of living or money doing, like, yeah,
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: like you, what do you do? Like I said, six
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: figures a month. He showed the receipts on it. I
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: think it's more like they're kind of disappointed with society
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: for allowing this or enabling this to become people that
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: anybody has heard of at all.
- 1:14:33Speaker 12: And to me, like, I don't know how I cure
- 1:14:36Speaker 12: this person because she's being told, Putting your baby in
- 1:14:39Speaker 12: literally in harm's way in the line.
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: Of fire is a bad thing to do. And she's like, no,
- 1:14:43Speaker 5: it's a good thing to do.
- 1:14:44Speaker 10: Right.
- 1:14:45Speaker 8: No, it's G-ish.
- 1:14:46Speaker 12: Yeah, no, yelling at the cops when they're there for
- 1:14:48Speaker 12: an active shooter is a good thing to do.
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: But then saying that somehow, like, endears you to the
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: audience of idiots.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. Who applaud that.
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: Who then make you even more popular. That's the part
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: I think people get annoyed with.
- 1:15:02Speaker 5: And we talk about, like, Matt, you brought this up.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: If we just.
- 1:15:05Speaker 12: Not necessarily her and Blueface, but yes, her and Blueface.
- 1:15:07Speaker 12: If we can just eliminate that one or two percent
- 1:15:10Speaker 12: of society that's actively making things worse for everybody. Her,
- 1:15:13Speaker 12: her husband, the kids who are swatting her as well.
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: And their fans. Catch me outside, girl.
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: Catch me outside, girl.
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: And we just get– if we just take that tiny
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: sliver of idiots out of society, it would be like
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: we were all living in Japan. Daily mention of Japan.
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: You say that, but like what about the parenting to
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: tell people, hey, don't be into this stuff? I agree.
- 1:15:33Speaker 5: That could be an element of it.
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: In addition to.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: Your parents didn't tell you? Everything that I was into,
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: my parents were like, what is it about those Guns N'
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: Roses that you like so much? They didn't understand that.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: Parents are always telling their kids the stuff that they're
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: into is dumb.
- 1:15:50Speaker 8: Some might say parents just don't understand.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: How about be more effective? Oh.
- 1:15:58Speaker 8: Don't you love non-parents?
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: That's good. No, I know you guys love parenting content,
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: so I just threw it in there.
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: Anyway. What?
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: I hear what he's saying.
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: You do?
- 1:16:10Speaker 12: Well, if you're an honestly great parent, your kids don't
- 1:16:14Speaker 12: even find that stuff appealing.
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: No, because when you're young and you're dumb, you find
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: dumb stuff appealing.
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: I agree.
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: I did plenty of it myself.
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: When kids are into whatever, it's when you have full
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: grown adults who are into this dumb stuff.
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: Right. And I think you should talk about the audience
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: for this is probably adults.
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: Most of them probably.
- 1:16:34Speaker 9: Well, here's the thing.
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: Greg never in his life had a strong urge to
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: go out and do a street takeover.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: No.
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: Isn't that weird?
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: Because he had good parents. Figuring into his brain is
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: like an option.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Right, no.
- 1:16:45Speaker 8: But he did like breaking stuff and throwing stuff at cars.
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: I sure, I still do.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: Sammy, on the other hand, she was out there.
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: Here comes Jeff G.
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: who's been, he was deep in the scene. We got
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: a break here. Yes, Jeff.
- 1:16:53Speaker 9: Are you suggesting I'm not a good parent because my
- 1:16:55Speaker 9: sons watch Blueface?
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: No, no.
- 1:16:57Speaker 12: What you and I are saying is, you're a dumb
- 1:17:00Speaker 12: teenage boy, as we all were.
- 1:17:01Speaker 5: You're going to be, that's going to.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: Be- Yeah, what Menace is saying is more of that point. Right,
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: I'm going to do it, you're going to do it.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: You need to be a better parent to keep your
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: kids from... Yeah.
- 1:17:10Speaker 9: Says the person without kids.
- 1:17:12Speaker 8: That's every time.
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: Oh, damn, snap.
- 1:17:15Speaker 5: No, I'm just gaslighting you because I don't care about
- 1:17:18Speaker 5: any of the parenting stuff.
- 1:17:19Speaker 9: It's super boring. Listen, we all watch dumb stuff when
- 1:17:23Speaker 9: we were kids, whether it be Faces of Death or whatever.
- 1:17:25Speaker 9: We would always watch what we were told not to watch.
- 1:17:28Speaker 9: And they watch it because it's dumb and they laugh
- 1:17:31Speaker 9: at them. You know what I mean? But I don't
- 1:17:33Speaker 9: think it has anything to do with parenting. I'm drawing
- 1:17:36Speaker 9: the line.
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: Honestly, I don't care. I was just throwing it out there.
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: At re-readults. You know what I mean? Let me throw
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: one out there.
- 1:17:44Speaker 12: The first few UFC tapes that were released, you were
- 1:17:47Speaker 12: not supposed to watch those. So all of us kids
- 1:17:50Speaker 12: in high school had to go together, find some grandparents
- 1:17:53Speaker 12: who let their kids rent the UFC tapes. And now
- 1:17:55Speaker 12: it's the biggest sport in the world, so whatever.
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: And right back into This Week in Audio. More live
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: streaming stuff.
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: This is.
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: A man, Adrian Bronner, Menace, he has something in common
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: with you.
- 1:18:10Speaker 5: He's a former boxing pro.
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:18:14Speaker 5: I mean, he's a champion. Yeah, he used to flush
- 1:18:17Speaker 5: money down the toilet.
- 1:18:17Speaker 9: Remember that?
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: In common with Menace, former boxing pro?
- 1:18:21Speaker 8: Well, something else.
- 1:18:22Speaker 12: Former boxing pro who now has a Menace move in
- 1:18:25Speaker 12: his repertoire. He was on his live stream. They're in
- 1:18:28Speaker 12: this party limo, drinking, going out to the club or whatever.
- 1:18:33Speaker 12: He's in the middle of chugging a drink. And suddenly
- 1:18:36Speaker 12: he says, you know what, I feel kind of, my
- 1:18:38Speaker 12: stomach feels.
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: Kind of woozy. A reset.
- 1:18:40Speaker 5: So he does it live, the menace reset, barfing in
- 1:18:42Speaker 5: his own drink live on camera.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: Oh, God.
- 1:18:50Speaker 5: Chugs the whole drink.
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: He re-drinks it?
- 1:18:54Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: I'm going to cry. That, I have not.
- 1:19:02Speaker 8: What is he, a cat?
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: I will say this.
- 1:19:04Speaker 5: That's Menace in the Menace reset. Menace is moved, folks.
- 1:19:07Speaker 5: Why don't you explain the reset for folks? Well, the
- 1:19:08Speaker 5: reset is, you know, if you drink to a point
- 1:19:11Speaker 5: where you're just not feeling that great, you just barf.
- 1:19:14Speaker 5: you know, in the bathroom at the bar or at
- 1:19:16Speaker 5: the club, and then you just go back to the bar.
- 1:19:19Speaker 8: But do you drink more or are you done?
- 1:19:21Speaker 5: No, you drink more because you're back to normal.
- 1:19:23Speaker 12: Let's, Mena says in the bathroom, he'll do it on the,
- 1:19:26Speaker 12: he'll like hide behind a pole, barf into his cup
- 1:19:28Speaker 12: and just leave that there.
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: Or pot of plant.
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: Pot of plant. Whatever.
- 1:19:31Speaker 3: As long as you're discreet about it, it's fine.
- 1:19:35Speaker 12: The reason we know is because people saw him because
- 1:19:36Speaker 12: he wasn't discreet. But let me, let me, shout out
- 1:19:39Speaker 12: to Adrian Bronner because That used to be the rule.
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: We'd do Century Club. Thank you, Randy.
- 1:19:46Speaker 12: We would do this thing called Century Club where it's
- 1:19:48Speaker 12: 100 shots of something. Not liquor, but beer, obviously. And
- 1:19:52Speaker 12: the rule is you get kicked out if you puke,
- 1:19:55Speaker 12: but you can get back in if you drink your puke.
- 1:19:57Speaker 12: And I would like to give respect to Mike Jacobs,
- 1:19:59Speaker 12: my fraternity brother, who.
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: Pulled that move off. He drank his puke, kept going.
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: Shout out, Mike. Legend. And Adrian Bronner. who are willing
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: to power through, drink their own puke.
- 1:20:10Speaker 5: I don't know if I could do that, man. I
- 1:20:12Speaker 5: would puke instantly.
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: This week, we've seen you with a vegetable, man. Like
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: a tomato. A tomato. Yeah.
- 1:20:19Speaker 14: Right.
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: Yeah. What was it? Yeah, there was a little bit
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: of broccoli and something.
- 1:20:24Speaker 5: Oh, yeah. Like an onion.
- 1:20:25Speaker 8: Yeah, one onion.
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: You would think.
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: It was Ipecac.
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: Yeah. This week in audio.
- 1:20:31Speaker 5: A game of Who Dis? Roadie Show original game.
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: This is a person singing a Michael Jackson cover, but
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: it's a.
- 1:20:37Speaker 5: A well-known person who's a celebrity but not a singer.
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: Let's see if you can guess who this is.
- 1:20:41Speaker 14: Looking out across the nighttime. City wings asleep inside. Hear
- 1:20:53Speaker 14: her voice shake my window. Sweet seducing.
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: Any guesses in the room?
- 1:21:04Speaker 8: It's my favorite Michael Jackson song.
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: Jamie Foxx.
- 1:21:06Speaker 5: Yeah, it's really good.
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: Well, he's a singer, though.
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: Human Nature, of course, the song.
- 1:21:11Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: I can't make it out.
- 1:21:16Speaker 5: What if I told you that was Reacher, Alan Richson? Who?
- 1:21:21Speaker 12: The giant, muscly buff dude who's been the star of
- 1:21:23Speaker 12: Reacher for like four seasons on Amazon Prime.
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: Who recently got in trouble for beating crap. We could
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: have been here for a decade. What's in the news?
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: Who stars in Reacher? I wouldn't know.
- 1:21:34Speaker 12: The same guy who beat up his neighbor because his
- 1:21:36Speaker 12: neighbor confronted him and his boys for riding bikes.
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: In the neighborhood.
- 1:21:38Speaker 14: Oh, yeah.
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: Hell, yeah.
- 1:21:39Speaker 3: Giant dude.
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: So, Alan Richson.
- 1:21:41Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: There you go.
- 1:21:42Speaker 14: Okay.
- 1:21:42Speaker 5: No Rachel fans in the room.
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: Well, I like that. I love his voice. This week
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: in audio.
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:21:46Speaker 12: Another singer with a dire warning for you, Greg Gorey.
- 1:21:50Speaker 12: Selena Gomez says.
- 1:21:52Speaker 3: Oh, what does she know?
- 1:21:54Speaker 5: Well, she is and was.
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: A professional singer for quite some time.
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: Selena.
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: And she has a warning for people like Greg about
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: a habit they have.
- 1:22:00Speaker 15: I'm not going to be able to change my voice.
- 1:22:02Speaker 15: I vaped nicotine a lot. And I think I just
- 1:22:07Speaker 15: wanted to say if you're going through it or if
- 1:22:10Speaker 15: you're even trying to vape, it's just not worth it.
- 1:22:13Speaker 15: It's changed my voice. So if you guys don't like
- 1:22:16Speaker 15: listening to my voice, that's totally understandable. I don't mind.
- 1:22:19Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: Your voice sounds better.
- 1:22:21Speaker 8: I have a question. She seems like a nice girl.
- 1:22:24Speaker 8: I love her makeup line, Rare Beauty. But why is
- 1:22:26Speaker 8: she the most low energy human being on the planet?
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: Why? Why?
- 1:22:34Speaker 5: Greg, are you going through vaping?
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: No, it reminded me that I haven't taken a drag
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: in a while. Thank you, Selena.
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: Look, Greg, your voice is still smooth and buttery.
- 1:22:44Speaker 3: Yeah, it hasn't affected me.
- 1:22:45Speaker 8: Maybe it's made it better.
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: Yeah, it's made it way better. The thing that I
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: blame is this guy I used to work with when
- 1:22:51Speaker 3: he was one of my radio idols. And when I
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: met him, he said, do you smoke? And I said,
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: I do, actually. And he said, don't. quit. Now, he
- 1:23:00Speaker 3: did die of lung cancer.
- 1:23:01Speaker 5: He eventually quit.
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: It was super cool.
- 1:23:03Speaker 12: We used to have a voiceover guy who we called
- 1:23:06Speaker 12: Smokey because he smoked so much.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: But he died like this.
- 1:23:09Speaker 8: It's great for dudes.
- 1:23:09Speaker 12: And he died not of lung cancer but of alcoholism.
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: See?
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: There you go.
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: He beat it.
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: I shared the studio with him.
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: Smoking didn't kill him.
- 1:23:19Speaker 5: And sometimes there was a coffee cup with more than
- 1:23:21Speaker 5: coffee in it.
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: Oh, sweet.
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: Quick break. More Woody Show coming up next.
- 1:23:25Speaker 9: Hang on a sec.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: Let's wrap this up. The Week in Audio.
- 1:23:31Speaker 12: We've got the Seabass original game show, How'd They Owie?
- 1:23:34Speaker 12: It's where we play audio of somebody hurting themselves. And
- 1:23:38Speaker 12: you have to guess just from the audio, how'd they
- 1:23:41Speaker 12: do that?
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: How'd they hurt themselves here? How'd they owie?
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: E-O-Z!
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: I'll give you a clue. This is a Chinese edition.
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: This is from China. I'm trying to figure out what
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: they were saying in the beginning there.
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: You can't.
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: You can't, sucker. Oh, no. Some kind of team.
- 1:24:04Speaker 5: I thought it was like some bros setting off fireworks.
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: Could be China related. It's like a warehouse. Yeah, like
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: a bunch of cans and stuff.
- 1:24:18Speaker 8: It sounds like, yeah, that or they're pulling down scaffolding.
- 1:24:21Speaker 5: I will have, Woody, you will get the points.
- 1:24:23Speaker 12: They are, yeah, they're in a big storage room and
- 1:24:25Speaker 12: they've got empty five-gallon jugs that are stacked horizontally but
- 1:24:28Speaker 12: on top of each other vertically. And they're pulling because
- 1:24:31Speaker 12: they're all wedged together. Like, well, let's just, you know,
- 1:24:33Speaker 12: there's 500 jugs here. Let's keep pulling.
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: Harder as they all come out together and fall on
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: your head.
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: Oh, no. Yeah, I watched a video of a guy.
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: He was operating a forklift in one of those giant
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: warehouse things. And, you know, I mean, that stuff is
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: stacked all over the place.
- 1:24:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: And he made one wrong move and it's like a
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: domino effect. Oh, my God. I can't even imagine how
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: much money in product was just destroyed.
- 1:24:58Speaker 5: I do get pissed off.
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: Oh, man.
- 1:25:00Speaker 12: I get irrationally pissed when they close off the aisles
- 1:25:03Speaker 12: in Home Depot to let the forklifts through.
- 1:25:05Speaker 5: Oh, right.
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:25:06Speaker 5: And that's because for something like this, where if they
- 1:25:08Speaker 5: make the wrong move and that whole.
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: Thing comes down.
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: It's going to be a bad day.
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: I also love those videos of the giant shredders with
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: the big old nuts.
- 1:25:14Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: Or a couch or a fridge.
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: Those are fun. Speaking of forklifts.
- 1:25:18Speaker 3: I could watch that 24 hours a day.
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: There was just one I saw this week where they
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: put an old forklift in one of those things. Oh, yeah.
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: And it crushed it down. And then after that, it
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: put it through like a.
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: Yes, and it shoots it out.
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: It was just spitting out shards. Nice. It was awesome.
- 1:25:33Speaker 3: It's like porn.
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: Hell yeah. That and what are the ones with the press?
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: Oh, I love those.
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: Pneumatic press, yeah.
- 1:25:40Speaker 3: That's cool.
- 1:25:42Speaker 8: Rubber band balls.
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: This week in audio.
- 1:25:45Speaker 12: Speaking of someone else being an idiot, this is just pranking.
- 1:25:48Speaker 12: I'm not going to credit these TikTokers, but they are Australians,
- 1:25:51Speaker 12: so if I'm with accents here, they're on a plane
- 1:25:53Speaker 12: and they've got this whole prank set up where as
- 1:25:55Speaker 12: they go through the whole life vest thing, They're not
- 1:25:58Speaker 12: only going to remove the life vest from under the sea,
- 1:26:00Speaker 12: which you shouldn't be doing, except in an emergency. They're
- 1:26:03Speaker 12: going to do exactly what is said with it.
- 1:26:05Speaker 8: Place it over your head on the loose strap to tighten.
- 1:26:08Speaker 12: Only inflate your life jacket as you leave the aircraft.
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: So he inflated his life jacket. Jump the gun.
- 1:26:18Speaker 12: Yeah, well, he was obviously for just pranking, and then
- 1:26:20Speaker 12: he was escorted off the plane on.
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: Account of making a big scene.
- 1:26:23Speaker 3: It would be fun to use one of those.
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: It would be. My friend in high school stole one.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: They work, though.
- 1:26:28Speaker 5: Because they're under your seat.
- 1:26:29Speaker 3: You can grab it.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: Sure.
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, but then they're going to need it, and
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: there's going to be one death. It's going to be
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: a person who went to go get that thing from
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: underneath their seat. Your friend's got it, and like.
- 1:26:39Speaker 12: Yeah, miracle on the Hudson, minus one.
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: Because we wanted to play with it. This week in audio.
- 1:26:45Speaker 5: Great little clip here to address both of those idiots.
- 1:26:48Speaker 12: This is from the Oilers, a recent Oilers game where
- 1:26:51Speaker 12: Hot Mike, the referee, was getting ready to call whatever
- 1:26:54Speaker 12: the penalty was, and he had a little comment about
- 1:26:56Speaker 12: the goalies first.
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: They're all, every goalie's retarded.
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: No.
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:27:01Speaker 3: Didn't know that.
- 1:27:02Speaker 8: That is a hot take on a hot mic.
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: They're all, every goalie's retarded.
- 1:27:07Speaker 3: Interesting.
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: All right, just so you know at home.
- 1:27:09Speaker 8: Was everyone cool with that?
- 1:27:10Speaker 5: Ah, people recorded that.
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: Oh.
- 1:27:12Speaker 5: Well, the R words make it a comeback. We talked
- 1:27:14Speaker 5: about this.
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: Yeah, big time.
- 1:27:14Speaker 5: Yeah, it's very fashionable these days.
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: Well, TMZ Sports did a post about this, and the
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: guy who they have narrating the whole thing, he's on
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: the camera holding a little fuzzy microphone that you hold
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: between your thumb. Yeah, so fashionable.
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: And he goes.
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: So, yeah. That's how he started the report.
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: So.
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: Yeah, you're supposed to be a professional reporter. So, yeah.
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: And then we had a situation. They're all, every goalie's retarded.
- 1:27:39Speaker 5: Every TMZ reporter's retarded.
- 1:27:40Speaker 3: How about that? True.
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: This week in audio.
- 1:27:43Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: He keeps dropping bangers, like 15 years ago, and Frankie McDonald.
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: We love Frankie.
- 1:27:50Speaker 12: He's Sydney, Nova Scotia, doing the weather, but he also
- 1:27:54Speaker 12: does weather-related sound effects.
- 1:27:56Speaker 5: Like this for tornadoes.
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: Hey, everyone.
- 1:27:59Speaker 3: Here I'm doing a tornado siren.
- 1:28:00Speaker 14: Okay, you must be done.
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: Oh, no. It's pretty good. Okay, he's probably done now, right?
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: Gotta be out of breath now. Love Frankie. Still going?
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: Probably not. Oh, okay.
- 1:28:24Speaker 8: This is a real emergency.
- 1:28:26Speaker 12: The best part is he's standing on a street in
- 1:28:29Speaker 12: the city of Nova Scotia.
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: Just doing that. Thank you, okay? That was it. Oh,
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: thank God it's over. What is this financial? This week

- 1:29:11Speaker 10: Hold on.
- 1:29:11Speaker 14: One thing.
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: We're going to put you on.
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: Hello.
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:29:14Speaker 3: We got you.
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: We heard the whole interaction.
- 1:29:16Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:29:16Speaker 10: Yeah.

- 1:29:17Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: We're here.
- 1:29:18Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: Are you down to go up?
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: All right. All right.
- 1:29:21Speaker 12: Good.
- 1:29:21Speaker 5: Come on.
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: We've been dying to give away these guys.
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: Just trying to give them away.
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:29:26Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: So you're on your way up. Nice.
- 1:29:28Speaker 5: Yes, we're rolling up right now.
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: Yeah, we're going to lose him in the elevator. All right,
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: so we'll resume the Queens of the Stone Age song
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: on a throwback Thursday already in progress, and Menace will
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: be here momentarily with our delivery driver for Delivery Driver
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: Appreciation Week. And T.O. Tim, I know, is in the wings.
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: He's hanging out. We're going to be talking to T.O.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: Tim.
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: We'll go up in the club. This is it. Delivery
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: driver appreciation week continues. We ordered bagels. The driver is here.
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: He met Menace in the lobby.
- 1:30:03Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: Hey, what's up, dude? How are you, sir? Hey, thank
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: you for your services. Thank you for delivering our bagels.
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: We appreciate that.
- 1:30:13Speaker 3: Appreciate it. What's your name?
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: Jovanis.
- 1:30:15Speaker 3: What is it? Jovanis.
- 1:30:16Speaker 9: Jovanis.
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: Nice to meet you, Jovanis. How long have you been
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: doing the delivery driver thing?
- 1:30:20Speaker 3: It's been already a year and a half.
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: A year and a half. And how's that going?
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: It's going pretty great.
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: Is it what you thought or better or worse than
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: you thought?
- 1:30:27Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:30:28Speaker 9: It's gotten better.
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: It's gotten better. All right. And then what else do
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: you do? Is this like a side gig? Right now,
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: I'm studying for radiology. Oh, radiology. That's cool. I'm doing
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: this on the side.
- 1:30:41Speaker 8: You're better than us.
- 1:30:42Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: You can tell he's a smart guy.
- 1:30:44Speaker 3: Thank you so much.
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: Sharp dresser, smart guy. All right. So anyway, you're getting
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: a tip, obviously, for the delivery normally. But now we
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: have all these different gift cards. They're all up on
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: this wheel. So there's a $ 100 Visa gift card.
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: There's a.
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: $ 50 gas card on there, Target, all kinds of stuff.
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: So spin the wheel, and you're going to spin it
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: toward you. So spin it to the left. And then
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: whichever space it lands on, that's the gift card that
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: you're going to get.
- 1:31:08Speaker 8: Go for it.
- 1:31:08Speaker 3: Yeah, go ahead. Spin it. There you go.
- 1:31:10Speaker 8: Nice, healthy spin.
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: All right. Delivered Driver Appreciation Week. Big money. You're on
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: the winning show. We'll see what it lands on.
- 1:31:20Speaker 3: Slowing down.
- 1:31:21Speaker 8: All right. Want something awesome.
- 1:31:26Speaker 3: And it's going to be.
- 1:31:28Speaker 8: Oh, oh, oh.
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: Look at that.
- 1:31:33Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: All right. Take that. That's a $ 50. That's a $ 50
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: Amco gift card. So, hey, gas, you're doing a lot
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: of driving.
- 1:31:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: I just want to point out, you know, the little
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: gift receipts that they give you, that little tiny slip
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: of paper. I taped it to the front. So be
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: careful when you open this thing up, just in case
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: there's an issue that happens from time to time. you
- 1:31:51Speaker 2: can use that to make sure they give you the money. Cool.
- 1:31:54Speaker 3: There you go, 50 bucks, man.
- 1:31:55Speaker 2: Of course, thank you.
- 1:31:56Speaker 8: Thank you, Havana.
- 1:31:57Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:31:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I appreciate you. Yeah, there you go.
- 1:32:00Speaker 3: Thank you so much.
- 1:32:01Speaker 2: Delivery driver appreciation week.
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: Love it.
- 1:32:04Speaker 8: So much fun.
- 1:32:05Speaker 2: Here on The Woody Show.
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: Yeah, there you go. Radiology.
- 1:32:07Speaker 2: Yeah, so we had a guy who studied radiology. We
- 1:32:10Speaker 2: had the other dude who's a former Major League Baseball scout.
- 1:32:14Speaker 3: Yeah, that was cool.
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: We had one guy run.
- 1:32:16Speaker 3: Yeah, he made it as far as the door to
- 1:32:18Speaker 3: the studio.
- 1:32:19Speaker 5: Bouncing.
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:32:24Speaker 2: All right. Well, it is a throwback Thursday. It's the
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: final hour of the Woody show on a throwback Thursday,
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: which means people here in the office start filing in.
- 1:32:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:32:39Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:32:40Speaker 2: Which is always funny to us. You know, they start
- 1:32:43Speaker 2: filing in. You'll see people to be like eight forty five.
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: And it's like you just woke them.
- 1:32:49Speaker 3: Right. We've been here for hours. And then when we leave,
- 1:32:52Speaker 3: they say.
- 1:32:53Speaker 9: Oh, lucky.
- 1:32:54Speaker 2: I know. Well, we look at you the same way
- 1:32:58Speaker 2: that these guys walk. If 8.45, they're like, oh, good morning.
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: I need my cup.
- 1:33:04Speaker 2: Like 8.45, dog. Where's lunch, bitch? Right, just getting here. Anyway,
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: final hour, home stretch of the Wooded Show here in
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: a throwback Thursday. It's where we welcome in, he's the
- 1:33:13Speaker 2: pride of Pacoima. He's the senior vice president and the
- 1:33:15Speaker 2: managing partner of Club Turnip, T.O. Tim, DJ Tim Martinez!
- 1:33:20Speaker 11: T.O.
- 1:33:23Speaker 9: What's up, Tim?
- 1:33:25Speaker 2: What's going on, guys? How are you? Good morning. Yeah,
- 1:33:30Speaker 2: good morning. Look who's well-rested.
- 1:33:32Speaker 9: So, Tim, I'm curious.
- 1:33:34Speaker 2: As a hardcore Dodger fan, we were talking about this
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: in the locale news yesterday. There was a group of
- 1:33:40Speaker 2: bars over by the stadium.
- 1:33:42Speaker 8: Yeah, a bunch of bars. 25 bars.
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: They were literally hedging bet on the Dodgers and the postseason.
- 1:33:47Speaker 2: So they made a bet on Calchi that the Dodgers
- 1:33:51Speaker 2: would not... go to the World Series.
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:33:55Speaker 2: So that way, if the Dodgers didn't, because they were
- 1:33:58Speaker 2: anticipating it's a boost to business, right?
- 1:34:00Speaker 8: They were counting on that money.
- 1:34:02Speaker 5: How much was it, Gina?
- 1:34:03Speaker 8: Yeah, $ 60, 000 bet.
- 1:34:04Speaker 2: What? So these bars got together, made a $ 60, 000 bet
- 1:34:08Speaker 2: on Cal Shee, and it was like $ 120, 000 payout.
- 1:34:11Speaker 9: Yes, double their money.
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: So even though the Dodgers lost, all those bars that, okay, yeah,
- 1:34:15Speaker 2: there's no games, but we just got $ 120, 000.
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: Well, $ 60, 000 because they had to split it up. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:34:21Speaker 8: But you got to at least respect the forethought, right?
- 1:34:23Speaker 2: How do you feel about that? Yeah. That's bad juju, right?
- 1:34:28Speaker 4: It is bad juju, but at the same time, that's
- 1:34:31Speaker 4: a hard come up right there, man.
- 1:34:34Speaker 9: I say good for you.
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: That's what I was thinking.
- 1:34:36Speaker 3: Good for you.
- 1:34:36Speaker 9: And the chances are, if they would have made it
- 1:34:38Speaker 9: to the World Series, that $ 60, 000 would have looked like
- 1:34:41Speaker 9: nothing because they.
- 1:34:41Speaker 2: Probably wouldn't have packed the bar out for another two weeks.
- 1:34:44Speaker 2: They would have put it all in anyways.
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:34:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:34:46Speaker 9: I mean, good for them.
- 1:34:47Speaker 2: You know what? It's all about the money.
- 1:34:49Speaker 10: All right.
- 1:34:50Speaker 2: Well, we're going to go up in the club with
- 1:34:52Speaker 2: the song that Tim's going to pick for us. But
- 1:34:54Speaker 2: that's when he is DJ Tim Martinez. But for right now,
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: he is T.O. Tim. And your questions, of course, you
- 1:35:00Speaker 2: can send us your questions for Around the T.O. Tim
- 1:35:04Speaker 2: by just on the text. You can do that.
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: 22987.
- 1:35:07Speaker 2: You can send us on the email. Email at thewoodyshow.com.
- 1:35:12Speaker 2: Jeff G., question number one.
- 1:35:13Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:35:14Speaker 9: This is an email from Javier in HP. He says,
- 1:35:17Speaker 9: Tio Tim, my wife's cooking sucks with two exclamation marks.
- 1:35:22Speaker 9: How do I tell her without pissing her off?
- 1:35:25Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:35:27Speaker 9: So his wife's cooking sucks. How does he tell her
- 1:35:30Speaker 9: without pissing her off?
- 1:35:32Speaker 8: That's a tough one.
- 1:35:33Speaker 9: First of all, I can't tell anything to a Latina
- 1:35:34Speaker 9: without pissing her off.
- 1:35:35Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Am I right?
- 1:35:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:35:37Speaker 3: Oh, man.
- 1:35:38Speaker 2: That's a dead end. No one's writing down anything.
- 1:35:40Speaker 3: That's a faker.
- 1:35:43Speaker 2: You stumped us, Jeff. Yeah. Not me. I'm here. Man,
- 1:35:47Speaker 2: I don't have an answer.
- 1:35:47Speaker 8: Oh, I have two answers.
- 1:35:49Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:35:49Speaker 8: Either offer to cook together or cook books for her birthday.
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: Oh, man.
- 1:35:54Speaker 2: The cook books for the birthday, but offer to cook
- 1:35:56Speaker 2: together is not a bad idea.
- 1:35:57Speaker 5: Yeah. Well, I wound up it, and I say cooking lesson.
- 1:36:02Speaker 2: Oh, cooking lessons. That's pretty brutal.
- 1:36:04Speaker 3: Or like couples.
- 1:36:05Speaker 2: Say, hey, you're such a good, just lie to her.
- 1:36:08Speaker 2: Just say, you're such a good cook. I want to
- 1:36:10Speaker 2: enhance what you're doing. Yeah, you can level up. Yeah,
- 1:36:12Speaker 2: and I want you to level up, because we're going
- 1:36:14Speaker 2: to have people over for a big party.
- 1:36:16Speaker 5: And you can show them everything that you've learned.
- 1:36:18Speaker 3: All right, Gregori. It's kind of under that same umbrella.
- 1:36:21Speaker 3: I said, give her a family recipe. That's actually a
- 1:36:24Speaker 3: good idea. I would rule if you made my mom's whatever.
- 1:36:27Speaker 2: That's good for one meal.
- 1:36:29Speaker 9: We can do it a few times a year.
- 1:36:30Speaker 3: Multiple, right?
- 1:36:31Speaker 10: Whatever.
- 1:36:32Speaker 2: There's always that question. My least favorite question. What's for
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: dinner tonight? There's got to be something. Something that she
- 1:36:39Speaker 2: makes that is decent. Yeah. Right? Not great, but decent
- 1:36:42Speaker 2: that you're fine with. Edible. So your wife has that
- 1:36:44Speaker 2: one thing. like limit the amount of things that you request.
- 1:36:49Speaker 3: Oh, God.
- 1:36:49Speaker 2: Oh, I feel you on that. And then as you
- 1:36:50Speaker 2: start working some other things in there that like, you know, like, oh,
- 1:36:53Speaker 2: then you can add this to the list because now
- 1:36:55Speaker 2: she's figured it out.
- 1:36:55Speaker 8: I can really go for some hot dogs.
- 1:36:58Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:36:58Speaker 2: Some Pop-Tarts.
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:37:01Speaker 2: Those sound really good.
- 1:37:02Speaker 3: Sammy.
- 1:37:02Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:37:03Speaker 11: So because the question was, how do you tell her?
- 1:37:06Speaker 11: Which means you are telling her that she is not
- 1:37:09Speaker 11: a good cook, but you're going to tell her that
- 1:37:11Speaker 11: you're taking her out for dinner and Because she's not
- 1:37:14Speaker 11: a good cook. So she'll be excited that she's going out.
- 1:37:17Speaker 2: Oh.
- 1:37:17Speaker 9: That's not going to end well.
- 1:37:19Speaker 8: You're going to end with a drink in your face.
- 1:37:21Speaker 11: But you have to tell her, right?
- 1:37:22Speaker 8: There's other ways to tell her.
- 1:37:24Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:37:24Speaker 2: Jeff G.
- 1:37:25Speaker 3: Oh, it's easy, man.
- 1:37:26Speaker 9: First, you lie.
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:37:28Speaker 9: First, you lie and tell her her cooking's great. And
- 1:37:30Speaker 9: then second, you stop by your mom's house on the
- 1:37:32Speaker 9: way home and get actual good food. So you're full
- 1:37:35Speaker 9: by the time you get home to your house.
- 1:37:37Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah. I don't know.
- 1:37:39Speaker 3: All right, Tim.
- 1:37:41Speaker 4: I just said, babe, I'm grilling.
- 1:37:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:37:46Speaker 11: Oh.
- 1:37:46Speaker 8: I got you.
- 1:37:46Speaker 5: That was so easy.
- 1:37:47Speaker 2: Take the rest of the life off. I got it.
- 1:37:49Speaker 14: Wow.
- 1:37:50Speaker 8: It was right in front of our eyes.
- 1:37:52Speaker 5: I mean, if you want to keep your cape on tight,
- 1:37:54Speaker 5: I guess. Yeah.
- 1:37:56Speaker 8: Well, if you want to make sure it's good.
- 1:37:57Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:37:57Speaker 9: All right.
- 1:37:59Speaker 2: Question number two for T.O.
- 1:38:00Speaker 3: Tim.
- 1:38:00Speaker 2: What do we have here?
- 1:38:01Speaker 9: It's actually audio, and it's from a listener I met
- 1:38:04Speaker 9: while we were out, and she had a question.
- 1:38:06Speaker 3: For you, T.O.
- 1:38:06Speaker 8: Tim.
- 1:38:07Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:38:07Speaker 15: So if you get invited to a carne asada, what
- 1:38:10Speaker 15: is the one item you shouldn't bring if you.
- 1:38:13Speaker 2: Want to get invited back?
- 1:38:15Speaker 9: And what's your name?
- 1:38:16Speaker 2: What's your name?
- 1:38:17Speaker 9: Tanya from Compton.
- 1:38:17Speaker 15: All right.
- 1:38:19Speaker 9: Tanya from Compton.
- 1:38:20Speaker 8: White girl question. Did she say if you get invited
- 1:38:23Speaker 8: to a carne asada?
- 1:38:24Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:38:24Speaker 9: So that's like the kickback or that's, you know, the
- 1:38:26Speaker 9: cookout You just call it a carne asada. Yeah, the
- 1:38:28Speaker 9: carne asada. So if you get invited to that house,
- 1:38:32Speaker 9: what is something you shouldn't bring if you want to
- 1:38:34Speaker 9: get invited back?
- 1:38:35Speaker 10: Oh, I got it.
- 1:38:35Speaker 2: That you shouldn't bring?
- 1:38:37Speaker 3: Easy.
- 1:38:38Speaker 9: I got it.
- 1:38:38Speaker 3: Is that easy, Tim?
- 1:38:40Speaker 2: For sure. I mean, I'm not super confident in my answer,
- 1:38:44Speaker 2: but I think if you want to increase the odds
- 1:38:47Speaker 2: that you get invited back, you don't bring your kids.
- 1:38:52Speaker 2: You leave the kids at home. Yeah, because you're going
- 1:38:54Speaker 2: to have a much better time. You're going to be
- 1:38:56Speaker 2: a much better guest because now your kid's not going
- 1:38:57Speaker 2: to be running around their place or whining and crying
- 1:39:00Speaker 2: because they're bored and can we leave yet and things
- 1:39:02Speaker 2: like that. You can just like chill and you can
- 1:39:04Speaker 2: give your full attention to your friends who have opened
- 1:39:06Speaker 2: up their home to you. So I say kids. That's
- 1:39:10Speaker 2: so good. There's always a bouncy house.
- 1:39:12Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:39:13Speaker 2: That's a place to put the kids.
- 1:39:14Speaker 9: And you know, the old kid watches the young.
- 1:39:16Speaker 3: Kids, Woody.
- 1:39:17Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:39:17Speaker 8: Well, I channeled my inner menace for this one. For
- 1:39:19Speaker 8: carne asada, I said, you won't be invited back if
- 1:39:22Speaker 8: you bring hummus.
- 1:39:23Speaker 3: That's very true.
- 1:39:24Speaker 9: Yeah, that's good.
- 1:39:25Speaker 2: Come to my house, dog.
- 1:39:27Speaker 13: Get out.
- 1:39:27Speaker 2: All right, Gregori.
- 1:39:28Speaker 3: I feel like my answer requires a tiny bit of exclamation. explanation.
- 1:39:35Speaker 3: I think that you would take pride and joy in
- 1:39:37Speaker 3: what you are going to serve and that's why I
- 1:39:40Speaker 3: wouldn't bring the meat because it's your thing. Does that
- 1:39:45Speaker 3: make sense?
- 1:39:46Speaker 2: It's kind of like not wearing white to a wedding.
- 1:39:50Speaker 2: A woman shouldn't wear white.
- 1:39:52Speaker 3: To upstage the bride.
- 1:39:53Speaker 8: It's their time to shine.
- 1:39:55Speaker 2: I just put macaroni.
- 1:39:57Speaker 9: Macaroni?
- 1:39:58Speaker 2: No good?
- 1:39:58Speaker 11: No.
- 1:40:00Speaker 9: Yeah, no good.
- 1:40:01Speaker 2: I'll take some back. Since when is that not good?
- 1:40:04Speaker 8: Hell yeah.
- 1:40:04Speaker 2: No, not macaroni and cheese. Macaroni salad? Yeah, macaroni and salad.
- 1:40:08Speaker 2: I love it.
- 1:40:09Speaker 5: I've never been to any kickback like that that had
- 1:40:11Speaker 5: macaroni and salad.
- 1:40:13Speaker 11: Yeah, mine's similar to Greg's, which I put hot dogs.
- 1:40:16Speaker 11: But again, because they have far superior meat that's seasoned well,
- 1:40:20Speaker 11: is very good. And showing up with hot dogs, I
- 1:40:22Speaker 11: just don't think.
- 1:40:23Speaker 14: Lame.
- 1:40:23Speaker 2: What do you mean by they?
- 1:40:25Speaker 3: Jeff G.
- 1:40:26Speaker 2: The people at the party.
- 1:40:27Speaker 9: You bring chorizo instead.
- 1:40:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:40:29Speaker 9: Chorizo's fine.
- 1:40:30Speaker 3: Light beer.
- 1:40:31Speaker 9: No Coors Light, no Bud Light, none of that stuff.
- 1:40:33Speaker 2: We bring the good stuff only. I didn't even think
- 1:40:36Speaker 2: about the beer factor. All right.
- 1:40:39Speaker 5: T.O.
- 1:40:40Speaker 10: Tim.
- 1:40:41Speaker 3: Don't ever bring a veggie platter.
- 1:40:43Speaker 1: T.O.
- 1:40:43Speaker 11: Tim.
- 1:40:43Speaker 5: Do not.
- 1:40:44Speaker 8: Speak on it, Tim.
- 1:40:45Speaker 5: Hummus and veggies.
- 1:40:45Speaker 11: Don't.
- 1:40:45Speaker 1: You know what?
- 1:40:46Speaker 2: Save the $ 15 at Vons.
- 1:40:47Speaker 8: Just don't. Just show up.
- 1:40:48Speaker 9: No veggie platter.
- 1:40:49Speaker 14: Come through.
- 1:40:57Speaker 3: Yeah. All right.
- 1:40:58Speaker 2: Well, there you go.
- 1:40:59Speaker 9: T.O.
- 1:41:00Speaker 2: Tim, if you've got a question for a future round
- 1:41:02Speaker 2: of T.O. Tim, you can send us a question on
- 1:41:05Speaker 2: the text over to 22987. You can email it over
- 1:41:08Speaker 2: to us, email at thewoodyshow.com, or just run into Jeff G.
- 1:41:11Speaker 2: out in these streets.
- 1:41:12Speaker 9: Yes. Always got a recorder on me.
- 1:41:14Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 1:41:14Speaker 2: He'll get the questions from me there.
- 1:41:17Speaker 3: The Woody Show.
- 1:41:18Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:41:20Speaker 2: So T.O. Tim is here. It's a throwback Thursday, and
- 1:41:24Speaker 2: we're going to go up in the club. And so
- 1:41:27Speaker 2: like each and every week, these are songs that back
- 1:41:30Speaker 2: in the day, DJ Tim Martinez, man, he was spinning.
- 1:41:32Speaker 3: For real.
- 1:41:33Speaker 2: He was out in the clubs. He was doing these things. Parties, right?
- 1:41:36Speaker 2: All of it. Yeah. All the parties.
- 1:41:38Speaker 5: Backyard parties were huge back in the day.
- 1:41:40Speaker 2: Also, you were probably the go-to guy because you worked
- 1:41:42Speaker 2: at the radio station. So like you were probably the
- 1:41:43Speaker 2: guy they sent out like if they needed someone to
- 1:41:45Speaker 2: spin at like an event.
- 1:41:47Speaker 4: I'll be honest with you, my first job in radio
- 1:41:49Speaker 4: was on the street team, and I would take my
- 1:41:53Speaker 4: equipment to every van hit.
- 1:41:55Speaker 9: And it was like, and they were like, why are
- 1:41:57Speaker 9: you doing that?
- 1:41:57Speaker 8: Because I'm an overachiever.
- 1:41:59Speaker 2: Yeah, just in case.
- 1:42:00Speaker 9: Just in case, you never know.
- 1:42:01Speaker 2: Just in case, you never know. And that got me
- 1:42:05Speaker 2: my first club gig. Nice.
- 1:42:06Speaker 15: Oh, really?
- 1:42:06Speaker 3: Yeah. Peppers.
- 1:42:08Speaker 2: Remember Peppers?
- 1:42:08Speaker 9: I remember Peppers.
- 1:42:10Speaker 2: Peppers is lit.
- 1:42:11Speaker 9: Very well.
- 1:42:12Speaker 3: I do, man.
- 1:42:12Speaker 2: Is it even the same one?
- 1:42:13Speaker 9: That's right.
- 1:42:13Speaker 2: Every once in a while, Greg and I bond over
- 1:42:15Speaker 2: a story involving Peppers.
- 1:42:16Speaker 3: Yeah. Remember Virgil who worked the front door?
- 1:42:19Speaker 2: Virgil always was at the front door.
- 1:42:22Speaker 9: He was crazy.
- 1:42:24Speaker 2: Dude, so much went down at Peppers. Oh, it did.
- 1:42:28Speaker 2: I love that. Yeah, Virg let us cut the line, man.
- 1:42:31Speaker 10: Right.
- 1:42:31Speaker 3: Oh, dude. Like, if you got in right around, like, 8.30,
- 1:42:35Speaker 3: you were golden. Yeah, well, anybody can get in that time. Yeah,
- 1:42:38Speaker 3: but that's what Virgil preferred. Yeah.
- 1:42:41Speaker 5: He's like, look, I got you, but I got you
- 1:42:43Speaker 5: up at 8.30.
- 1:42:45Speaker 2: Yep, there was the code at the bar.
- 1:42:46Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Right. Lick it.
- 1:42:49Speaker 2: You didn't even have to say it.
- 1:42:51Speaker 3: If you said lick it.
- 1:42:54Speaker 3: You do it, whatever you want it.
- 1:42:55Speaker 2: So we put a professional in charge of selecting what
- 1:42:58Speaker 2: song we go up in the club with each and
- 1:42:59Speaker 2: every week here on this Throwback Thursday. And Tim, what
- 1:43:02Speaker 2: do we got this week?
- 1:43:03Speaker 4: We're going to the lovely year of 1988, Supersonic, J.J.
- 1:43:07Speaker 1: Fabb.
- 1:43:07Speaker 2: All right, here we go, up in the club. The
- 1:43:09Speaker 2: Woody Show.
- 1:43:09Speaker 10: Throwback Thursday.
- 1:43:10Speaker 5: What?
- 1:43:11Speaker 3: Up in the club.
- 1:43:12Speaker 2: Super Sonic.
- 1:43:16Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:43:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:43:16Speaker 9: JJ Fad.
- 1:43:17Speaker 2: Super Sonic. Yeah.
- 1:43:19Speaker 3: I haven't heard that in forever.
- 1:43:21Speaker 2: Up in the club. Throwback Thursday here on The Woody
- 1:43:23Speaker 2: Show on Alt 98.7. Jeff G with the fun fact.
- 1:43:26Speaker 9: They are from Rialto.
- 1:43:27Speaker 3: Nice.
- 1:43:27Speaker 9: Shout out to the IE. Shout out to the IE.
- 1:43:30Speaker 2: Did you know that? I did not know that, though.
- 1:43:33Speaker 9: Yeah, back in the day, it was them, Yo-Yo, and
- 1:43:36Speaker 9: Michelle Leigh held down the West Coast. That was like
- 1:43:38Speaker 9: all the female rappers back then. You don't play with
- 1:43:40Speaker 9: my Yo-Yo.
- 1:43:41Speaker 5: You know, they sound like a BTAF.
- 1:43:44Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, PTA. Remember those, the boss-ass bitch?
- 1:43:48Speaker 5: We had them at a Chrissy Miss party.
- 1:43:51Speaker 2: Yeah, it was lit, dude. Jeff, what do you know
- 1:43:53Speaker 2: about them? I don't very much. No, no, you know
- 1:43:56Speaker 2: their song, maybe.
- 1:43:58Speaker 9: PTA.
- 1:43:59Speaker 5: Hold on, I'm.
- 1:44:01Speaker 2: Pretty sure I got the... Everybody wait.
- 1:44:03Speaker 3: I probably do.
- 1:44:04Speaker 2: They're from South Los Angeles. Everybody wait now. Hold on,
- 1:44:08Speaker 2: do you remember this, Jeff? Oh, yeah, I've heard this song.
- 1:44:18Speaker 2: I've heard it a lot.
- 1:44:21Speaker 9: The name of the groove didn't ring a bell, but
- 1:44:24Speaker 9: the song, of course.
- 1:44:29Speaker 10: Manist, you're right.
- 1:44:30Speaker 8: It kind of does sound like J.J.
- 1:44:31Speaker 3: Fett.
- 1:44:32Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:44:47Speaker 2: It does. They were cool, man. Yeah. That was fun.
- 1:45:04Speaker 9: I've actually heard a woman say that to another woman
- 1:45:07Speaker 9: right before they started fighting. I'm a boss-ass bitch, and
- 1:45:09Speaker 9: then they're going to have the first punch.
- 1:45:11Speaker 2: That's so funny. DJ Tim Martinez, everybody.
- 1:45:15Speaker 14: Good times.
- 1:45:17Speaker 3: All right, Tim.
- 1:45:18Speaker 1: Thanks, man.
- 1:45:18Speaker 2: We'll see you next week.
- 1:45:19Speaker 3: Goodbye.
- 1:45:20Speaker 2: The Woody Show. Well, turn up.
- 1:45:23Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, guys? Do it.
- 1:45:26Speaker 2: 55-year-old dude in Pennsylvania just got arrested. His 10th DUI,
- 1:45:32Speaker 2: number 10, happened. We were talking about this. He was
- 1:45:35Speaker 2: parked right outside the police station. So the officer found
- 1:45:39Speaker 2: him confused and disoriented next to a large, wet puddle
- 1:45:44Speaker 2: outside of the driver's door. several empty beer cans inside
- 1:45:48Speaker 2: the car now he is on video nearly hitting another
- 1:45:51Speaker 2: vehicle and then getting out to pee next to his
- 1:45:54Speaker 2: car so there uh there you go.
- 1:45:58Speaker 5: Well that's the guy that needs to be in prison
- 1:46:00Speaker 5: for a very long time because the only end result
- 1:46:02Speaker 5: is him killing somebody if he's on his 10th yeah
- 1:46:06Speaker 5: that's it you're just gonna keep on going until he
- 1:46:08Speaker 5: kills i understand like i mean Maybe he doesn't have
- 1:46:11Speaker 5: a license. He's just driving without one.
- 1:46:13Speaker 3: Yeah, of course.
- 1:46:14Speaker 2: And so he just keeps getting access to cars.
- 1:46:15Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:46:16Speaker 2: Let me see. I'm asking AI here. How does one
- 1:46:18Speaker 2: get 10 DUIs?
- 1:46:20Speaker 3: It's got to be over the course of many, many,
- 1:46:22Speaker 3: many years.
- 1:46:22Speaker 2: I really think after a while, you would get locked up.
- 1:46:24Speaker 3: Yeah, you would think. At least a little bit.
- 1:46:26Speaker 2: We're good. Anyway, now he's charged with a felony DUI,
- 1:46:29Speaker 2: open lewdness, blah, blah, blah, blah. Oh, yeah. So driving
- 1:46:31Speaker 2: on a suspended license. So it's not like he had
- 1:46:33Speaker 2: an active license, but. It won't keep you from driving.
- 1:46:35Speaker 2: So much stuff is done on the honor system.
- 1:46:37Speaker 8: I know.
- 1:46:38Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:46:38Speaker 8: In bad faith.
- 1:46:39Speaker 10: You know?
- 1:46:40Speaker 2: Always.
- 1:46:41Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 1:46:41Speaker 1: Sure.
- 1:46:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:46:43Speaker 2: That's why we need a social.
- 1:46:44Speaker 3: I promise I won't drive. Yeah.
- 1:46:46Speaker 2: Police in Colorado got calls about a guy who was
- 1:46:48Speaker 2: surfing on a train. That's like, you know, riding on
- 1:46:50Speaker 2: top of the train while it's moving.
- 1:46:51Speaker 3: Fun.
- 1:46:52Speaker 2: And the guy was nude now, Craig.
- 1:46:54Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 1:46:55Speaker 2: He was completely nude. According to the police report, he
- 1:46:59Speaker 2: got on the train by breaking one of the windows,
- 1:47:01Speaker 2: and from there, he made his way to the roof
- 1:47:03Speaker 2: for his surfing.
- 1:47:03Speaker 3: Disrobed. What's that? Disrobed and then went. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
- 1:47:08Speaker 2: Totally hammered. And they put him in cuffs and he's
- 1:47:11Speaker 2: going on and on to the officers about his, quote,
- 1:47:14Speaker 2: love of vodka, beer and the banjo.
- 1:47:17Speaker 8: Oh, I love that.
- 1:47:19Speaker 2: It's in Colorado.
- 1:47:20Speaker 12: That's not a metro train. That's that's a good old
- 1:47:22Speaker 12: fashioned locomotive like hobo.
- 1:47:23Speaker 14: Let him live.
- 1:47:24Speaker 3: Come on.
- 1:47:25Speaker 2: He's been hit with multiple charges.
- 1:47:27Speaker 3: Train life.
- 1:47:28Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:47:28Speaker 2: Hashtag train life. There are like videos about people who
- 1:47:32Speaker 2: do that. Yeah, live on the train. Yeah, like the
- 1:47:34Speaker 2: old hobo kind.
- 1:47:35Speaker 3: Of train travel thing.
- 1:47:39Speaker 12: It's much less romantic these days because I've met these
- 1:47:41Speaker 12: people and they're always train kids, gutter punks, whatever you
- 1:47:44Speaker 12: want to call them. And there's always street drugs involved,
- 1:47:48Speaker 12: your meths and your so on and so forth.
- 1:47:50Speaker 8: No bindle sticks.
- 1:47:51Speaker 3: Yeah, they don't have a stick with a bandana on
- 1:47:54Speaker 3: it for all their belongings.
- 1:47:55Speaker 2: Well, there's a bandana involved, Greg, and it's always around
- 1:47:57Speaker 2: the neck of their.
- 1:47:58Speaker 3: pit bull.
- 1:47:59Speaker 5: Aww.
- 1:47:59Speaker 2: Adorable.
- 1:48:00Speaker 5: Which is good for protection, number one, but number two, sympathy.
- 1:48:04Speaker 2: I've seen it.
- 1:48:05Speaker 5: They'll be walking down the street.
- 1:48:06Speaker 12: And some loser in a Subaru will pull up with
- 1:48:09Speaker 12: a bag full of groceries and dog food to give
- 1:48:10Speaker 12: to them and they're stupid dogs.
- 1:48:11Speaker 3: And they're good for companionship and kisses.
- 1:48:13Speaker 2: Here's another guy with multiple DUIs. Guy in Texas, off
- 1:48:17Speaker 2: to jail, caught and arrested. The guy went to trial
- 1:48:22Speaker 2: for his 12th DUI. Wow. He took the stand at
- 1:48:26Speaker 2: his trial, and instead of just taking responsibility, he said
- 1:48:28Speaker 2: he was just unlucky.
- 1:48:29Speaker 12: Yep.
- 1:48:30Speaker 3: Hey, you caught me, not all the other ones.
- 1:48:32Speaker 2: You have to unfollowing in a swimming pool of alcohol.
- 1:48:34Speaker 2: The DA made the case that, hey, man, the only
- 1:48:36Speaker 2: thing really lucky is that you haven't killed anybody, like
- 1:48:38Speaker 2: Ben has been saying. But the jury, through the book
- 1:48:40Speaker 2: of this guy, now they gave him a sentence of
- 1:48:42Speaker 2: 25 to life.
- 1:48:43Speaker 5: So there you go.
- 1:48:45Speaker 2: That's what we're talking about. At some point.
- 1:48:48Speaker 5: They just saved a life by doing that right now.
- 1:48:50Speaker 2: So at what, I guess, 12 is the number? Because
- 1:48:53Speaker 2: this other guy's got 10.
- 1:48:54Speaker 3: So he's got two more.
- 1:48:55Speaker 2: Yeah. Keep going.
- 1:48:57Speaker 15: Hurry up.
- 1:48:57Speaker 2: Two more. Two more chances.
- 1:48:59Speaker 8: You got this.
- 1:49:00Speaker 3: Then that's it.
- 1:49:00Speaker 2: Well, he's not wrong.
- 1:49:01Speaker 12: They say that stuff like DUIs, you do it 100
- 1:49:04Speaker 12: times before you get caught.
- 1:49:06Speaker 2: This chick in Mississippi, she was arrested for careless driving.
- 1:49:09Speaker 2: According to the police report, she was completely naked, Greg.
- 1:49:12Speaker 2: Of course.
- 1:49:13Speaker 12: Another one.
- 1:49:13Speaker 2: So we had another multiple DUI and another naked person.
- 1:49:16Speaker 2: Not only was she naked, she was high AF. A
- 1:49:20Speaker 2: cop searched her car, found several guns. The car this
- 1:49:24Speaker 2: woman was driving belonged to her boyfriend. And a search
- 1:49:27Speaker 2: warrant was executed at his house. And guess what they found?
- 1:49:30Speaker 3: A Bible.
- 1:49:31Speaker 2: More guns. Some of which had been modified illegally into
- 1:49:34Speaker 2: automatic weapons. So now both her and her boyfriend are
- 1:49:37Speaker 2: locked up.
- 1:49:38Speaker 3: No.
- 1:49:39Speaker 2: Yeah, her for DUI, him on felony gun charges. So,
- 1:49:42Speaker 2: you know, turn up.
- 1:49:44Speaker 3: Yep. Nude out, turn up.
- 1:49:47Speaker 2: Are you the only person who's ever shot an automatic gun? No,
- 1:49:50Speaker 2: Menace has. Machine gun?
- 1:49:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:49:52Speaker 2: We went to a place in Vegas called The Gun Store.
- 1:49:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:49:55Speaker 2: And we shot all that stuff. Yeah, that place was fun.
- 1:49:57Speaker 2: Just press the button and whee! Yeah. But yeah, I've
- 1:50:02Speaker 2: been shooting guns my whole life. Well, automatic guns. Do
- 1:50:04Speaker 2: you like guns, Gina? I have one. Have you ever
- 1:50:07Speaker 2: been shooting with a.
- 1:50:07Speaker 8: Not an automatic.
- 1:50:08Speaker 2: No?
- 1:50:09Speaker 8: No, I'd love to.
- 1:50:10Speaker 3: It's fun.
- 1:50:10Speaker 8: You guys want to get in on that?
- 1:50:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:50:12Speaker 2: You get to pick out what your target was.
- 1:50:14Speaker 3: Yeah, right.
- 1:50:15Speaker 2: And one was like Osama bin Laden.
- 1:50:17Speaker 3: Yup.
- 1:50:18Speaker 2: Yeah. I'd love to do that. Yeah, pretty cool. I'd
- 1:50:20Speaker 2: love that play. Abuela wouldn't approve.
