109 Cats Rescued from Vermont Property | Burlington News
Over 100 cats have been rescued from a property in East Montpelier, Vermont, after a population explosion caused by dropped-off cats and their offspring. The Central Vermont Humane Society has been busy rounding them up, spaying/neutering, vaccinating, and preparing them for new lives—some adopted, others placed as working cats in barns and warehouses. Still more cats remain on the property, and the team is back regularly to ensure none are left behind. No charges filed. If you can help, reach out to the humane society.
