- 0:01Speaker 1: Jerry, Katy and Josh six one hundred.
- 0:04Speaker 2: We're here in the studios saying, oh my god, it's
- 0:06Speaker 2: already so hot in here.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Both of us are sweating.
- 0:10Speaker 2: I think I'm going through manopause, and Katie's well, I
- 0:14Speaker 2: can't talk about it.
- 0:16Speaker 4: No, you're right though, Like they say, it's way cooler
- 0:19Speaker 4: when we wake up today. The forecasters are all like, oh,
- 0:22Speaker 4: this morning, it's not.
- 0:23Speaker 2: It's not too Did you notice I noticed it a
- 0:28Speaker 2: little bit late last night.
- 0:29Speaker 3: And into this morning.
- 0:30Speaker 2: There's a weird like smell now because I think we've
- 0:34Speaker 2: gone so long without rain and then we got.
- 0:36Speaker 3: A little bit yesterday.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Yeah, it released something from the ground and the plants.
- 0:41Speaker 2: It's just a weird musty smell this morning. And I
- 0:45Speaker 2: was feeling it last night. I walked outside to put
- 0:47Speaker 2: the trash and I was like, eh.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it stinks.
- 0:49Speaker 4: I was gonna sleep with my window open, and the
- 0:52Speaker 4: same thing. I opened it and I was like, I
- 0:53Speaker 4: don't like.
- 0:54Speaker 2: That musty, Yeah, really really musty. And I would imagine
- 0:59Speaker 2: your coworker are gonna smell extra musty today.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Maybe we work from home.
- 1:06Speaker 2: The amount of times over the past thirty minutes or so,
- 1:10Speaker 2: the word flouters has been said in the studio is
- 1:15Speaker 2: absolutely ridiculous.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Flouts.
- 1:18Speaker 4: That's because it's never been uttered before and now it's
- 1:20Speaker 4: like the main word.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Loud, tush goods last night and flouters.
- 1:27Speaker 4: I went over to my friend's house shout out to
- 1:29Speaker 4: Violet and we like to cook together. We're going to
- 1:32Speaker 4: create a cooking show called Cooking with Violet and I
- 1:34Speaker 4: get to be really sus chef.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Yeah, it's fun.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Why is it just Violet?
- 1:37Speaker 2: If you're in there, she's a great cooking about Violet
- 1:40Speaker 2: and Katie.
- 1:40Speaker 1: You know what, I get enough attention, we're going to
- 1:43Speaker 1: get clout to us. It's just floulout us.
- 1:46Speaker 4: But she has taught me how to make so many
- 1:48Speaker 4: wonderful things, homemade salsa. Last night again we prepared floutas,
- 1:52Speaker 4: which is a lot liked. That's a keto's family because
- 1:59Speaker 4: it's funny her you know, husband like he also was
- 2:04Speaker 4: just like, yeah, I had never had floutos before.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Flout at him for me either.
- 2:07Speaker 4: He's like, I always knew it as a taketo and
- 2:10Speaker 4: when I was like, that's how I knew these.
- 2:12Speaker 2: But the flow to looks a little thicker, yes, a
- 2:14Speaker 2: little more substance to the flout.
- 2:17Speaker 4: Well, it's homemade, and you can tell because you know
- 2:20Speaker 4: when you roll into a gas station and get one
- 2:22Speaker 4: of those yeah, you know, chintzy on the inside, not
- 2:24Speaker 4: really delivering a whole lot of goods, but.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Not familiar with the gas station flout.
- 2:28Speaker 4: The gas station taketos, you've never had them, no, you know, Katie,
- 2:33Speaker 4: I respect my body.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Come on, I can tell you right now.
- 2:37Speaker 2: I don't think I've ever purchased anything out of a
- 2:39Speaker 2: gas station that is warm, or on a roller or
- 2:43Speaker 2: in an oven, never ever, ever, even on a road trip. Okay, now,
- 2:49Speaker 2: let me ask you. I take that back. Does the
- 2:53Speaker 2: breakfast burrito at the BUCkies count?
- 2:55Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 2:56Speaker 6: Okay, No, that's like gourmet. Okay, shut there.
- 3:00Speaker 3: It's not like rolling into a Sinclair off.
- 3:04Speaker 4: You don't have to try and out bougie me when
- 3:06Speaker 4: it comes to gas station food, like flowers.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Tiqitos are fine. Tiqitos are fine.
- 3:12Speaker 6: Just give them the frozen section a Safeway.
- 3:14Speaker 3: You can buy a.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Bag, but you've had you buy at and you know
- 3:18Speaker 4: that when you buy them and they're pre prepared, they're
- 3:21Speaker 4: you know.
- 3:21Speaker 2: The fish is a little A picture of yours was
- 3:25Speaker 2: that's a thick f that's.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Because I could put as much stuff in there as
- 3:27Speaker 1: I wanted to.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Maybe got back. There was no rules.
- 3:32Speaker 1: No, absolutely not.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Not only that, but like, so you're making the filling, right,
- 3:36Speaker 4: and it starts with chicken breast. You're like, okay, we're
- 3:39Speaker 4: starting off okay here, but then the amount of cheese.
- 3:42Speaker 4: You add two bricks of cream cheese and an entire
- 3:45Speaker 4: container of the shredded parmesan cheese into this on top
- 3:49Speaker 4: of the hall of panos and the onions, and you've
- 3:51Speaker 4: got the seasonings and the chicken and you mix all
- 3:53Speaker 4: that up and you shred it, and then you put
- 3:55Speaker 4: this in the corn tortillas and rolled it. And then
- 3:59Speaker 4: Violet was like, we can either do it in the
- 4:01Speaker 4: air fryer. She's like, it works in the air fire,
- 4:03Speaker 4: or we can fry him in lard. And I was like,
- 4:06Speaker 4: oh that last.
- 4:06Speaker 2: One though, so god like straight crystals, straight lar.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I had no idea.
- 4:13Speaker 4: You can buy it in containers like sticks of butter,
- 4:19Speaker 4: so you buy large apparently, so yes, we made our
- 4:24Speaker 4: flouds hard and it was the most amazing.
- 4:28Speaker 1: That's like one of.
- 4:28Speaker 2: The worst things you can eat, so good that product.
- 4:34Speaker 4: We're sitting there and then she's like, and not only
- 4:37Speaker 4: the flautas. She's like, we're gonna heat up some rice
- 4:39Speaker 4: and beans, really have us a fiesta that.
- 4:43Speaker 3: She's like, you know what these rice beans need is
- 4:45Speaker 3: this large?
- 4:47Speaker 1: And she made them with lard.
- 4:48Speaker 3: But then don't get on that.
- 4:50Speaker 1: We sat there and we ate our entire plate.
- 4:53Speaker 4: I had four flautas and then she made me to
- 4:56Speaker 4: go thing for my way home.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I had one in the car. I had five, and
- 5:00Speaker 1: then you're like, can.
- 5:01Speaker 3: I get a cup of that large to go as well?
- 5:03Speaker 3: Is that what you were eating?
- 5:04Speaker 2: I saw you sitting out in the parking this morning
- 5:06Speaker 2: scooping something with your fingers or putting it in your mouth.
- 5:09Speaker 3: It was Lord, it wasn't it. I feel like this
- 5:13Speaker 3: is like wine tasting music.
- 5:15Speaker 2: So let me tell you about mixed one hundreds of
- 5:17Speaker 2: wine time that's coming out not too bad.
- 5:20Speaker 7: Huh.
- 5:20Speaker 2: It's gonna be at uh the iconic main Street at
- 5:24Speaker 2: Elitch Gardens August twenty eighth.
- 5:26Speaker 6: It's not going to be a sun taste thing.
- 5:28Speaker 3: It's Denver's most unique wine tasting event.
- 5:31Speaker 2: We're gonna have about fourteen different hand picked wine stations.
- 5:35Speaker 3: I actually picked a few of them myself.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Did you really eat?
- 5:38Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a classic bad Yeah.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Welch's is gonna be one of the stations good.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Twenty one up event, of course. And if you want to.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Buy tickets, there's VIP tickets because you bougie baby.
- 5:51Speaker 3: And some GA tickets week spring for the VIP. A
- 5:57Speaker 3: high be a baller, a high roller. Anyway, we're gonna
- 6:00Speaker 3: have a live DJ of photo booth.
- 6:02Speaker 2: It's a relaxed summer evening sipping wine at elitches, sip.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Good chair chair.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Where can I find all the details and buy the tickets?
- 6:12Speaker 3: We'll settle down. I'll tell you makes one hundred dot com.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Of course, Katie, you and I I'm not drinking right now,
- 6:18Speaker 2: and I know you're We're.
- 6:20Speaker 3: A couple of teetotalers. You don't drink either.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Drink Yeah, we.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Might actually have to sneak in a bottle of Welch's.
- 6:27Speaker 2: I think to fake it. What's the is it the Martinelli's.
- 6:32Speaker 2: It's like the sparkling juice.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Yes, it's like when you're a kid. You think you're
- 6:36Speaker 4: drinking wine.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Right, it was good at Thanksgiving for the kids exactly. Well,
- 6:42Speaker 2: let's you and I get some Martinelli's and we'll have it.
- 6:45Speaker 2: We'll just tear it up. Okay, well, I know even Josh.
- 6:47Speaker 4: Isn't drinking, so like we get like two or three bottles,
- 6:50Speaker 4: bring it out there and tear it up.
- 6:53Speaker 3: By this Avenge has got a whole lot of lamer.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Anyway, buy those tickets and have some fun with us
- 7:00Speaker 2: at the end of August for wine time.
- 7:02Speaker 3: But devers yeh, mixed one hundred. All right, it's time
- 7:05Speaker 3: for some sports. I got a stack of stuff here.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Gen Z is just like me, thank you very much.
- 7:13Speaker 2: A new study has found that eighty percent percent why
- 7:17Speaker 2: do I say it like that, eighty percent of gen
- 7:20Speaker 2: zs attend live sports events, not for the game itself,
- 7:25Speaker 2: but just to see celebrities and the concerts that are
- 7:29Speaker 2: attached to him, and just to see the brands that
- 7:32Speaker 2: are there. What kind of brands are popping. They don't
- 7:35Speaker 2: even watch the game, they don't even care.
- 7:36Speaker 1: And it's just like me. That's every Rockies games spectacle.
- 7:40Speaker 6: It's not so much of a sporting event.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Yeah, they're like me, I don't know, and it's.
- 7:44Speaker 1: All like the food.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Also like trends, like they put a lot of pictures
- 7:48Speaker 4: of all the food in the stadium social event people
- 7:50Speaker 4: go to get that in specific, So yeah, I like it.
- 7:54Speaker 2: New York Tequila Company has celebrated the end of the
- 7:58Speaker 2: FIFA World Cup by gathering dozens of people together to
- 8:01Speaker 2: play on the world's longest foosball table. You should see
- 8:07Speaker 2: the pictures and videos of this thing. Five hundred and
- 8:10Speaker 2: twenty five feet long.
- 8:13Speaker 3: It is approximately the length.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Of one hundred and twelve standard foosball tables.
- 8:19Speaker 3: So think about the.
- 8:19Speaker 2: One that you see at the bar and line up
- 8:22Speaker 2: one hundred and twelve of them down the street. What
- 8:24Speaker 2: And that's how many people were playing the foosball. That's
- 8:27Speaker 2: a sport I can get on board with.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Right there.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Oose Ball's the devil?
- 8:33Speaker 3: Why is that game so frustrated?
- 8:35Speaker 1: Really?
- 8:35Speaker 2: And for some reason, my wife wants to put one
- 8:37Speaker 2: in the basement. I'm like, nobody's gonna ever play that.
- 8:40Speaker 1: I know, especially don't buy that like the kids will
- 8:43Speaker 1: love it.
- 8:43Speaker 2: I'm like it'll get twisted around for about a month
- 8:46Speaker 2: and then it's just gonna sit there.
- 8:47Speaker 4: And when I went out to the yard tales and
- 8:50Speaker 4: stuff this summer, there were.
- 8:52Speaker 2: So many because people buy them on a whim. Yeah, yeah,
- 8:57Speaker 2: it's like pool tables, ping pong tables, ball machines.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Nobody plays them. I got one final thing for you.
- 9:04Speaker 2: A couple of the players from Spain made it back
- 9:07Speaker 2: home from winning the World Cup.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Fabi and Ruez and some.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Gay guy named Javi, and they were celebrated in their hometown.
- 9:16Speaker 3: And here's what the hometown.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Did for these two guys, because they won the World Cup,
- 9:21Speaker 2: they celebrated by giving each of them their weight in tomatoes.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Oh so, Ruez got one hundred and eighty eight pounds
- 9:32Speaker 2: worth of tomatoes and Jav got one hundred and forty
- 9:35Speaker 2: three pounds of tomatoes in honor of their.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Hard work in the World Cup. Okay, so why are
- 9:41Speaker 3: you making a.
- 9:41Speaker 6: Face like that?
- 9:42Speaker 1: I had no idea big fans of tomatoes in Spain.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Yeah, pade yea.
- 9:48Speaker 4: I know you're gonna say, waiting gold, yo silver tomatos,
- 9:52Speaker 4: waiting flow.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Does I don't know, but tomatoes silly? That's a little nuts.
- 9:58Speaker 2: What do you do with all the do you instantly
- 9:59Speaker 2: go home and uh heayum and canned spaghetti sauce?
- 10:03Speaker 1: I guess I.
- 10:04Speaker 6: Freeze it last homemade and eighty pounds.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Throw them at people. I would throw some at people.
- 10:10Speaker 3: I would get the neighbor kids outside throw them at them.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Of course, that's what you would do with your neighbor
- 10:16Speaker 1: prize tomatoes.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Take a few neighbor kids out. What else you got, Josh?
- 10:20Speaker 8: Well, the NFL season is finally upon us. Broncos are
- 10:23Speaker 8: opening up training camp next week, which is really exciting.
- 10:27Speaker 8: But one of my favorite things about the beginning of
- 10:29Speaker 8: the NFL season, like this, is the NFL team's social media.
- 10:32Speaker 8: They go crazy trying to interview players and get everybody
- 10:36Speaker 8: excited for the next season. The NFL Giants Football Giants
- 10:39Speaker 8: are no different. They wanted to interview all their new
- 10:42Speaker 8: team and see how well they know female products. Okay,
- 10:46Speaker 8: and the team failed miserably. The men on this team
- 10:50Speaker 8: do not know what women's products look like at all.
- 10:52Speaker 8: Everybody except for one person who got one hundred percent
- 10:56Speaker 8: of them correct. Braxton Burrios famously every single product that
- 11:01Speaker 8: he saw correct.
- 11:02Speaker 5: Okay, Ready, eyelash curler pimple, I call him zitstickers. This
- 11:06Speaker 5: is for when you get a Patty care to separate
- 11:08Speaker 5: your toad. This is to clean make up rushes. This
- 11:12Speaker 5: is setting spray. Is this for like a slick back?
- 11:15Speaker 5: One is this for heatless curls.
- 11:16Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 11:19Speaker 8: Now what's funny about this and why he got it
- 11:21Speaker 8: correct is because he famously dated Alex Earl.
- 11:27Speaker 6: Is the social media influencer of the world right now.
- 11:31Speaker 8: I mean that girl is beautiful and she uses beauty
- 11:33Speaker 8: products like there's no tomorrow now, that's about it. That's
- 11:36Speaker 8: how I knew it, she responded, because everybody on her
- 11:39Speaker 8: TikTok was like, you trained that boy up correctly, and
- 11:42Speaker 8: she said, on her TikTok, I see everything, and I
- 11:45Speaker 8: am proud of myself for teaching him correctly because the
- 11:48Speaker 8: other guy knows this stuff.
- 11:49Speaker 4: That's really she's so pretty pretty and they're still on
- 11:53Speaker 4: good terms since yeah they're.
- 11:54Speaker 6: They're broken up, but apparently they don't hate each other
- 11:56Speaker 6: anything like that. And he knows Baul what's blowing up.
- 12:00Speaker 9: We've got receipts, We've got Drummer, We've got Denver talking
- 12:05Speaker 9: the high with JKJ legends and icons on Mixed one hundred.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Just looking up at the TV that tropical storms sitting
- 12:13Speaker 2: in Louisiana, Bertha, Bertha.
- 12:16Speaker 4: Katy, we come up with a different It's really hard
- 12:19Speaker 4: for me to keep a straight face when I talk
- 12:21Speaker 4: about something serious storm and then they're like.
- 12:27Speaker 3: The coast, we get some extra waters and food.
- 12:29Speaker 6: Birtha's coming to town.
- 12:32Speaker 3: I can't even That's not a scary name. I think
- 12:36Speaker 3: for a storm, like a freak.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Havoc, Like we should just like not use those names
- 12:42Speaker 4: in certain instances. Betty's another one, Big Betty. We don't
- 12:45Speaker 4: need Betty, we don't need Bertha. You know, maybe Barbara
- 12:48Speaker 4: Barbara is a good one. Yeah. I'm just saying, like
- 12:54Speaker 4: these names are okay to use the tropical storms because
- 12:56Speaker 4: they don't make me laugh.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Birth Birtha's coming to knock out the power again? What
- 13:04Speaker 3: else is going on?
- 13:05Speaker 2: Tom Cruise may return for a Days of Thunder sequel
- 13:08Speaker 2: that was back in nineteen ninety.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Is that a smart move? I don't know, Are you cool?
- 13:15Speaker 3: Days of Thunder?
- 13:16Speaker 2: That seems that was that was pretty bad ass back
- 13:20Speaker 2: in the day, that movie. But it's been so long
- 13:22Speaker 2: now are we reaching?
- 13:24Speaker 1: Are we reaching a little bit with it?
- 13:25Speaker 3: I think we might be reaching one. Yeah, I don't know.
- 13:28Speaker 7: Uh.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Tommy Lee, old school rocker from Motley Crue, Uh huh,
- 13:32Speaker 2: he's with that Britney Furlong still I believe?
- 13:35Speaker 1: Are they still together?
- 13:36Speaker 3: They still together?
- 13:37Speaker 7: Wow?
- 13:37Speaker 3: I follow her on the instagrams.
- 13:39Speaker 2: So anyway, he was on Dak Shepherd's podcast this week
- 13:43Speaker 2: and he was talking about when him in Nikky six
- 13:48Speaker 2: ran out I think it was cocaine and.
- 13:50Speaker 3: What they were doing. Let me pull that up. I'll
- 13:52Speaker 3: play it for you here, here you go.
- 13:54Speaker 7: I was with my bass player and we were doing
- 13:56Speaker 7: Haro whin. We ran out and it's like we unscrewed
- 13:59Speaker 7: the cap on a at the jack and then pulled
- 14:01Speaker 7: a couple of syringers and we're shooting Jack Daniels. I
- 14:04Speaker 7: was like, it was at that moment where I went, Okay,
- 14:09Speaker 7: we could just drink this, but we're shooting it. This
- 14:12Speaker 7: is wrong and somebody's gonna die.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Yeah, how is he still alive?
- 14:17Speaker 2: Those old school rockers, the stuff that they did and
- 14:20Speaker 2: shooting it into their veins.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Coming out and talking about it are just like fantastic.
- 14:26Speaker 4: Fantastic's a word, I guess.
- 14:28Speaker 2: But I'm always I'm fascinated about the life of being,
- 14:32Speaker 2: you know, a rock star, and then you hear stuff
- 14:35Speaker 2: like that and you're like, I don't know, I'm pretty puckered.
- 14:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I could never I don't even like take an advillain.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Maybe having like a sip of wine.
- 14:42Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, okay, I can't make kidneys are gonna
- 14:45Speaker 2: shut down.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Can't make do that?
- 14:48Speaker 2: Oh Snoop Dogg biopic, set to come out in August
- 14:52Speaker 2: of twenty twenty seven.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Yeah, the biopic we all need right now, That's what
- 14:57Speaker 3: I'd watch. That one's really good and they can give
- 14:59Speaker 3: you one final thing.
- 15:00Speaker 2: There's an Australian woman in the news who had a
- 15:04Speaker 2: pregnancy and she gave birth and this was a natural pregnancy.
- 15:08Speaker 3: There was no ivy of anything like that. Okay, they
- 15:11Speaker 3: just smashed. They did it old school. Okay. Then get
- 15:16Speaker 3: this had four babies.
- 15:19Speaker 10: It's amazing, to be honest, for this to be spontaneously conceived,
- 15:23Speaker 10: for the conception to happen, so one fertilized egg that
- 15:25Speaker 10: then splits not once, not twice, but three times into
- 15:28Speaker 10: four different babies who then share a plas center. That
- 15:32Speaker 10: is just amazing. And to end up with four beautiful
- 15:34Speaker 10: babies and a beautiful family now of ten, ten.
- 15:37Speaker 3: A family of ten.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Oh, but just out of nowhere, spontaneous four babies, four
- 15:45Speaker 2: and then I'm not sure.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think I'd be happy about that. You'd
- 15:50Speaker 3: have to fake it.
- 15:51Speaker 6: So hard with that.
- 15:52Speaker 2: We are so blessed happy, this unexpected happiness.
- 15:58Speaker 1: This is true blessing.
- 16:00Speaker 2: And kill me now, kill me now. Guys, we're buying
- 16:04Speaker 2: a van, My buying a cargo van.
- 16:07Speaker 1: You're buying a couple vans.
- 16:08Speaker 3: So happy.
- 16:12Speaker 1: To make two trips everywhere?
- 16:15Speaker 6: You got, Katie?
- 16:16Speaker 1: Okay, Well, this.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Story broke yesterday and like you said, Jeremy, a little sad.
- 16:20Speaker 4: We had an incident here in Loane Tree where somebody
- 16:24Speaker 4: hit a bear in their vehicle and that bear passed away.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Is it the same one that's been running around because
- 16:29Speaker 2: I heard it might be that same one it's been
- 16:31Speaker 2: sleeping in backyards.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Yes, And I know that a lot of people are
- 16:35Speaker 4: wondering about it because I heard reports that it was
- 16:37Speaker 4: like a cub and then other people said it was
- 16:39Speaker 4: that bear that that had been sighted around the Highlands
- 16:42Speaker 4: Rancherry and whatnot.
- 16:44Speaker 1: But just very very shocking yesterday.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Why am I so sad about this?
- 16:48Speaker 2: Like I'm overly sad about it because the poor guy, yeah, Hymns,
- 16:52Speaker 2: was just hungry. He's just you know, and there's a drought.
- 16:56Speaker 2: He's just looking for food and then yeah, somebody hit him.
- 16:59Speaker 2: I went down into a and then they tranquilized him
- 17:01Speaker 2: and then he died on the way to the vet.
- 17:03Speaker 6: Yes.
- 17:04Speaker 4: Yeah, so, And they're not saying again if any people
- 17:06Speaker 4: were injured in the crash, and I guess they're saying
- 17:11Speaker 4: it's a few miles from where a black bear was
- 17:14Speaker 4: seen in a tree and Centennial couple, so they're wondering
- 17:17Speaker 4: if it is the same bear. But again, there's nothing
- 17:20Speaker 4: that has confirmed it here. They are saying, though, because we're.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Seeing a lot.
- 17:24Speaker 4: We've talked about that quite a few times on the show.
- 17:26Speaker 4: There is a high influx of bears this year in
- 17:29Speaker 4: our area. The warm winter has a lot to do
- 17:31Speaker 4: with these who are coming. They're coming further and further
- 17:34Speaker 4: into the city to find food and shelter and everything.
- 17:36Speaker 1: They so folks in Douglas County, they're just reminding people.
- 17:40Speaker 4: They're like, you know, if you see a bear in
- 17:41Speaker 4: a highly populated area like that and you are in
- 17:44Speaker 4: your car honking your horn making a lot of noise,
- 17:47Speaker 4: that can scare them and make them want to get
- 17:49Speaker 4: away from the situation.
- 17:50Speaker 1: So there are things that we can do to help
- 17:52Speaker 1: try and keep them safe.
- 17:53Speaker 3: But get them in the car and do that. Should
- 17:56Speaker 3: do that.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Everybody's honestly a little sad about it though. Good to
- 18:00Speaker 4: know that, like just honking the horn and being able
- 18:02Speaker 4: to scare them. Setting off carl alarms is another thing
- 18:05Speaker 4: that you get to try and to turn them well.
- 18:07Speaker 1: But again, you could save a bear's lives.
- 18:09Speaker 6: Totally worth it.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Nobody wants to hear your car.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Crazy situation happening, the one that.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Was out there. I had no idea.
- 18:15Speaker 2: I was talking to my aunt and uncle and they
- 18:17Speaker 2: live over there and they were like, we were watching
- 18:19Speaker 2: the TV one night and they're like, there's our house.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Yeah, this was the video of the bear running by.
- 18:25Speaker 3: It was like right in front of their house.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Like, oh my god.
- 18:27Speaker 3: We had no idea.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Well, and I know like in Highland's ranch there was
- 18:30Speaker 4: the bear all summer and they named him Nate, and
- 18:32Speaker 4: so like a hungry bear a lot of people, I think. Again,
- 18:37Speaker 4: no confirmation as to what bear it was, but yeah,
- 18:39Speaker 4: definitely a sad story.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Coming out alone.
- 18:42Speaker 3: I'm overally sad about this.
- 18:43Speaker 1: I'm pretty sad about it too. He was hungry. There's
- 18:46Speaker 1: a hungry I don't think that's bears.
- 18:54Speaker 7: Es.
- 18:54Speaker 4: I do have something happy that will lift your spirits
- 18:56Speaker 4: a little because the One Up our k Bar is
- 18:58Speaker 4: opening a new location in Lakewood, and a lot of
- 19:02Speaker 4: people were bummed, remember because they closed that original location
- 19:05Speaker 4: last month on Blake Street in downtown Denver.
- 19:08Speaker 1: That was open for fifteen years.
- 19:11Speaker 4: And so yeah, when they said that they were going
- 19:13Speaker 4: to shut up shop there, people got mad.
- 19:15Speaker 1: So very excited about the new Bellmar. This is the
- 19:18Speaker 1: Belmore shopping they're going to go into Belmo.
- 19:20Speaker 4: So it's going to be the new old Lucky Strike location.
- 19:23Speaker 4: They're taking over the Bowling Alley, so that's where the
- 19:25Speaker 4: new One.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Up Bar is going to pop in there.
- 19:27Speaker 4: Yes, and so now they're going to have the location
- 19:30Speaker 4: in Lakewood. They also have Greenwood Village, Westminster and that
- 19:33Speaker 4: one on Colefax as well.
- 19:34Speaker 1: So but if you want up locations, yay.
- 19:37Speaker 3: They had to shut that one downtown.
- 19:39Speaker 2: I was reading about it because just rents and everything
- 19:41Speaker 2: were way too high, and I think people were just
- 19:43Speaker 2: not going downtown as much either.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Yeah, there's no revenue coming, so.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Very smart to put it.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Make some bank at Bellmar.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Bellmar's great. I love that one.
- 19:51Speaker 4: And then just one little sports nugget for you, Broncos
- 19:55Speaker 4: backup QB Jared Stidham. He's going to be at Panda
- 19:58Speaker 4: Express in Inglewood today from eleven until fall.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Someone off while he's.
- 20:04Speaker 3: There leading the team last year that he's.
- 20:07Speaker 1: There to promote their new Hot Honey Chicken.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Yeah so yeah, yeah, yeah, what do you where's my
- 20:14Speaker 3: steady up song?
- 20:15Speaker 6: Do I still have?
- 20:16Speaker 7: You?
- 20:16Speaker 1: Still have it?
- 20:22Speaker 7: Ye?
- 20:27Speaker 3: Wake up?
- 20:32Speaker 7: Right?
- 20:34Speaker 4: You can ask him questions and stuff they have like
- 20:36Speaker 4: hot orange Chicken takes is what they're calling it, and
- 20:40Speaker 4: they're gonna fire questions and you know, player appearances. They
- 20:44Speaker 4: do this stuff all the day, like players have to
- 20:47Speaker 4: do these appearances exactly, so you know, he's just part
- 20:50Speaker 4: of the you know, it's in Inglewood, the Panda Express
- 20:54Speaker 4: they're located.
- 20:55Speaker 3: And take a hungry Bear there today.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Okay, there you go,
