Transcript
- 0:07Speaker 1: Welcome back to Vanity Fair. This is part two of
- 0:10Speaker 1: ninety Day Fiance, season twelve, episode one in my Getting
- 0:14Speaker 1: Married era. If you haven't listened to part one, well, honey,
- 0:17Speaker 1: go ahead. This is part two. Start wherever you want.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Though it's one episode, we're splitting up by couples. Do
- 0:23Speaker 1: you I hope that worked? All right, I'll talk to
- 0:28Speaker 1: you all later. We're going to move on to Shay.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Shay is from Kentucky. He's from Paducah, Kentucky. What a
- 0:40Speaker 1: great name, Paduca And he is an auctioneer and a realtor.
- 0:48Speaker 1: He is like fifty something or whatever. He is no
- 0:53Speaker 1: physical prize, but for some reason people love them. Some shit.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Good enough of Shay. No, Shay is like running around
- 1:03Speaker 1: a barbecue and every person's like, hey, Shay, how you
- 1:07Speaker 1: doing Shay. There's like this young girl named Alexis that
- 1:11Speaker 1: is the won't talk about. This is the friend of
- 1:13Speaker 1: his friend Greg, Like, is Greg still your friend? And
- 1:17Speaker 1: he's like hanging out with her. Alexi's like if he
- 1:18Speaker 1: was single, I would maybe dat him. And Okay, I'm
- 1:23Speaker 1: not quite sure why, except I will say this, he
- 1:26Speaker 1: does seem like a fun person and I bet you
- 1:29Speaker 1: he does pay for everyone's drinks whenever you hang out
- 1:33Speaker 1: with him, right, Like, he probably makes more money than
- 1:37Speaker 1: other people. And then also he seems like he's a
- 1:40Speaker 1: little traditional, so he if he's around a woman, he'll
- 1:43Speaker 1: pay for the drinks. And I think that that is
- 1:45Speaker 1: good enough for a lot of women to be like, yeah,
- 1:47Speaker 1: I'm free Friday night. I want free drinks. Take me
- 1:51Speaker 1: to see a band and show me and give me
- 1:53Speaker 1: lik it up all night long. And we also see
- 1:57Speaker 1: like a lot of shots of him at like the
- 2:00Speaker 1: Tender Age of fifty seven taking beer down. You call
- 2:05Speaker 1: them beer shots? No beer, beer bong shots. No, that's
- 2:13Speaker 1: not what you call them. What do you call these
- 2:15Speaker 1: things when I don't drink beer? Can you fucking tell all?
- 2:19Speaker 1: Like the weird funnel ways in which people like try
- 2:23Speaker 1: and bypass their throat to put in their stomach more beer.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I guess this is why that's always confused me. If
- 2:33Speaker 1: you want to be like drunk faster, then you take
- 2:37Speaker 1: a shot. That's how you do it. You take one shot,
- 2:42Speaker 1: but you like take three shots and then you know
- 2:44Speaker 1: you're got. I mean, I don't even know you really
- 2:46Speaker 1: are gone? You know? To me, I've never understood the
- 2:48Speaker 1: idea of like pounding a like twelve ounce can of
- 2:52Speaker 1: something a because it's carbonated, so it's hard to do,
- 2:57Speaker 1: and then it's like fizzing up in your tummy and
- 2:59Speaker 1: it's full of one liquid and then you're only what
- 3:01Speaker 1: like one beer deep doesn't have that much alcohol in it,
- 3:04Speaker 1: So I have never understood it. Okay. I also didn't
- 3:08Speaker 1: drink beer in college. I wasn't popular, so was a
- 3:10Speaker 1: theater arts major. What do you want for me? You know?
- 3:12Speaker 1: God bless. So Also when they show one of it,
- 3:16Speaker 1: there's like some weird man holding what looks like a
- 3:20Speaker 1: remote that has a wire to whatever he's drinking. And
- 3:24Speaker 1: I don't even know what the remote does. Does it
- 3:27Speaker 1: like vibrate the beer in Like I don't want to,
- 3:30Speaker 1: like what is? What is? What is happening? You have
- 3:34Speaker 1: to tell me that I truly don't know. So he
- 3:40Speaker 1: met Annabell, who's fifty four from the Philippines, and the
- 3:43Speaker 1: way that he did it is through his friend Greg,
- 3:45Speaker 1: and Greg had a wife from the Philippines. Okay, So
- 3:48Speaker 1: they're talking and then Annabelle's like hi, and then you know,
- 3:52Speaker 1: he's like great, and then he talks to her every
- 3:54Speaker 1: day and then he goes to the Philippines and then
- 3:58Speaker 1: he tells a story where the story is like I
- 4:01Speaker 1: got off the plane and she was like, do you
- 4:03Speaker 1: want to go to dinner? And I was like, I
- 4:04Speaker 1: just need a shower first. Which I was like, good man,
- 4:06Speaker 1: because we've seen it on the show one billion times,
- 4:08Speaker 1: someone who'll just jumped from the plane with their plane
- 4:13Speaker 1: close right into a bed, right into a bed, and
- 4:16Speaker 1: we're always like no, you know, like truly how but
- 4:22Speaker 1: God bless, Shae's like, let me take a shower first.
- 4:24Speaker 1: So Shay goes into the shower, closes you know, the
- 4:28Speaker 1: shower curtain, and then he like forgets his bar soap.
- 4:31Speaker 1: So he opens it right there and there's Annabel. She's
- 4:34Speaker 1: right there and he's like, oh hi, and she's like
- 4:40Speaker 1: need any help and he's like no, what And she
- 4:46Speaker 1: gets naked and she gets in that shower and she
- 4:49Speaker 1: gives him a full scrub. Now I don't know if
- 4:55Speaker 1: it's the same idea, but I you know, I've frequented
- 4:59Speaker 1: a Korean bath before, like we spa or Olympic Spa
- 5:03Speaker 1: day spa in uh Los Angeles. I love a Korean
- 5:08Speaker 1: scrub and it is how he describes it, which is
- 5:11Speaker 1: that they scrub crevices you did not know you had,
- 5:14Speaker 1: mostly like your vagina crevice, not like the slit of
- 5:18Speaker 1: your vagina, but like what happens on each side of
- 5:20Speaker 1: your thigh, those those crevices. I like it because the
- 5:28Speaker 1: way that they scrub me feels like I am like
- 5:33Speaker 1: a like a potato, Like how you would scrub a potato,
- 5:38Speaker 1: like it's bulky, it's big. You don't want to like,
- 5:42Speaker 1: you know, ruin the potato, but at the same time,
- 5:44Speaker 1: you don't give like a lot of like softness the
- 5:46Speaker 1: potato to potato. You have to scrub it to make dinner.
- 5:48Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, Like do you scrub it? Yeah,
- 5:50Speaker 1: you washed potatoes. There's a little flying through in my life.
- 5:54Speaker 1: So she does that for him, and then she trims
- 5:58Speaker 1: his toenails like she really baby dolls him, and he
- 6:02Speaker 1: loves it. He's like, and I proposed to her that day. Now,
- 6:06Speaker 1: a lot of people I think are supposed to be
- 6:08Speaker 1: like that's crazy, But I will say this, I also
- 6:12Speaker 1: am someone who has the desire to primp people. I'm
- 6:20Speaker 1: only too happy if someone I'm comfortable with, and vice
- 6:25Speaker 1: versa of either sex. It doesn't have to be romantic.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Lets me primp them. I've always been that way. I
- 6:32Speaker 1: love doing people's nails. I love giving people's facials, you know.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I love people doing people's makeup. I like, don't know
- 6:38Speaker 1: why I like it, I do like it. I just
- 6:40Speaker 1: let I mean, like, when I was really young, my
- 6:45Speaker 1: grandpa I used to like make I would pretend that
- 6:48Speaker 1: he was like my baby, and I would like comb
- 6:50Speaker 1: his hair and like that I was like very young,
- 6:52Speaker 1: and he would allow me to do it. He had
- 6:53Speaker 1: no hair honey, and I would use like a dog's
- 6:55Speaker 1: brush whatever saying he allowed it. I'm someone who is
- 6:59Speaker 1: like a naturally nurturing, nurturing person, and I yeah, I
- 7:03Speaker 1: like and I like to print myself. So like, you know,
- 7:06Speaker 1: if I see my dad and he has like you know,
- 7:09Speaker 1: he frequently gets. My dad will get like a nose
- 7:12Speaker 1: hair that comes out of the tip of his nose
- 7:14Speaker 1: that looks like an eyebrow, hair like long black, you know,
- 7:18Speaker 1: or white, and I'll pluck the shit out of it.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I like. I like, yeah, I like rooming. I like yeah,
- 7:26Speaker 1: I like grooming myself. I love it, and I really
- 7:29Speaker 1: don't mind grooming someone else. I'm not good at like
- 7:33Speaker 1: coloring people's hair, Like that's not something I do. And
- 7:35Speaker 1: I would be scared as hell to give someone a haircut,
- 7:38Speaker 1: although I feel like I have before. I just don't
- 7:43Speaker 1: do that. I don't color my own hair. I don't
- 7:44Speaker 1: cut my own hair. I just I can't. But yeah,
- 7:46Speaker 1: you know I will. I will scrub anyone down. This
- 7:51Speaker 1: makes me happy. I like doing that kind of shit.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I don't know. So she does too, and you know,
- 7:58Speaker 1: like maybe there's like a certain I don't know if
- 8:00Speaker 1: there's like a certain ownership or if there's like a
- 8:02Speaker 1: certain kind of like you need help and I'll help you,
- 8:05Speaker 1: or for her, she's like, I don't want you get
- 8:07Speaker 1: in my bed unless you know I've put a scrub
- 8:12Speaker 1: on you. I put a scrub on you, and now
- 8:17Speaker 1: your mind, you know. I don't know. So he starts
- 8:24Speaker 1: to hint that there might be some secrets that Annabelle
- 8:28Speaker 1: has to know about him, or you know that it's
- 8:30Speaker 1: you know, Paducah, Kentucky is like a small town and
- 8:33Speaker 1: he's been around for a long time. Everyone knows him.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Everyone also loves parting with him at the lake. I'm
- 8:38Speaker 1: not quite sure if he has a lake house or
- 8:39Speaker 1: a lake boat if that's like another thing of why
- 8:42Speaker 1: people want to party with him, because he has his
- 8:44Speaker 1: like extra place people go where they like really get down.
- 8:49Speaker 1: We meet his daughters. He has four kids, two wives.
- 8:55Speaker 1: One of his daughter is named Alison, and Alison is
- 8:58Speaker 1: like his best friend daughter who he bought like the
- 9:00Speaker 1: neighboring house for, and she and her other sister come
- 9:04Speaker 1: over to look at the clothes that he's bought Annabelle
- 9:08Speaker 1: because he's been buying her clothes at the house. And
- 9:12Speaker 1: the way he described it as like I want annabel
- 9:14Speaker 1: to like look trendy like my daughter Allison, so she
- 9:17Speaker 1: like fits in here, and I'm like okay. Then he
- 9:19Speaker 1: starts to show us the clothes he bought and one
- 9:23Speaker 1: pair of shoes that are so wildly hideous. But that's
- 9:29Speaker 1: not even the worst of the problems. He shows us
- 9:31Speaker 1: this like platform pair of pink, cloudy shoes that I
- 9:34Speaker 1: don't know where he's from, and he's like, I got
- 9:36Speaker 1: it at alis for there used to be two hundred
- 9:38Speaker 1: and fifty dollars and we're like, no, they weren't. And
- 9:40Speaker 1: then Alison takes off her shoe, takes her foot out
- 9:44Speaker 1: of her shoe which she's wearing like pearl bedazzled jeans
- 9:49Speaker 1: or whatever and like strappy silver sequin shoes, like I
- 9:55Speaker 1: mean you wear with a cocktail dress and this is
- 9:58Speaker 1: you know, walking around the backyard. And then she puts
- 10:01Speaker 1: her foot into her brand new shoes, Annabell's shoes, and
- 10:04Speaker 1: I feel like it was a kind of like fuck you,
- 10:07Speaker 1: I'll always own him kind of thing, which is basically
- 10:09Speaker 1: what she says right afterwards. She's like, I'm always gonna
- 10:13Speaker 1: be my dad's number one. And I want when Annabel comes,
- 10:17Speaker 1: for you to agree to only do things you know
- 10:19Speaker 1: sometimes with me. Now two of those things are are
- 10:22Speaker 1: should be happening. He should still spend time with Alison
- 10:26Speaker 1: sans Annabel, especially they live very close. Like it doesn't
- 10:29Speaker 1: see make that be that hard. He's like, well, anything
- 10:31Speaker 1: we do together, Annabell can come. She's like, that's literally
- 10:33Speaker 1: the point of what I'm saying. I don't want her
- 10:34Speaker 1: to come. He's like, he gives me. I bet he
- 10:39Speaker 1: has a lot of women in his life that he
- 10:41Speaker 1: doesn't want to have to deal with. And he's like,
- 10:43Speaker 1: I don't. If I don't have to say anything and
- 10:45Speaker 1: do anything, the better. So you know. Alison's like, yeah,
- 10:51Speaker 1: my dad's my best friend. I drink with him. We
- 10:53Speaker 1: drink together. Have I told you about the fact that
- 10:55Speaker 1: we drink and we know that he drinks, and you know,
- 10:57Speaker 1: when we meet Alison, she also looks like she's already
- 10:59Speaker 1: had like a couple of drinks, you know, So God
- 11:01Speaker 1: bless that's what's happening there. The other thing about Shay
- 11:05Speaker 1: is that he has no less than four deerheads alone
- 11:10Speaker 1: in the shots we see. We see one in his confessional.
- 11:13Speaker 1: In this room with Alison, there's one on each side
- 11:18Speaker 1: of this big ass armor. Like, there are so many
- 11:21Speaker 1: deer heads in this house, it's wild. So then Nicole,
- 11:29Speaker 1: his ex, comes over, this is his second wife, and
- 11:33Speaker 1: we get the shot of her at the door that
- 11:35Speaker 1: is like Nicole Shay and in the background Alison. I mean,
- 11:38Speaker 1: it is like the most Hallmark movie movie poster I've
- 11:43Speaker 1: ever seen, I mean. And then behind Alison is another
- 11:48Speaker 1: fucking deerhead. And so there's literally like five pairs of
- 11:52Speaker 1: eyes staring back at Nicole when she comes to the door,
- 11:55Speaker 1: and Nicole is like, can I have a private conversation
- 12:00Speaker 1: with you away from Alison, away from the deer Shay's like, okay,
- 12:04Speaker 1: but bring them on the cameras. Okay. So yeah, like
- 12:10Speaker 1: I wish sometimes the producers weren't like only idiots watch
- 12:15Speaker 1: this show, because like in these moments, I'm like, we
- 12:19Speaker 1: fucking know that she knows that she's on camera. This
- 12:23Speaker 1: is not a private conversation, literally, it's on national television.
- 12:28Speaker 1: So why the fuck can't Alison in this deerhead hear this? Okay?
- 12:33Speaker 1: So Nicole is like, well, first of all, we learn
- 12:36Speaker 1: that when they go outside that his marriage Nicole only
- 12:41Speaker 1: lasted four weeks four weeks and it was a second
- 12:53Speaker 1: marriage for him. How drunk was he when he got married? Okay,
- 13:01Speaker 1: but even then they're still fucking around, like straight up
- 13:04Speaker 1: fucking So Nicole's whole thing is like she wants to
- 13:08Speaker 1: talk to annabel and like let annabel know what she's
- 13:11Speaker 1: getting into, which is like, you know, marrying a no
- 13:15Speaker 1: good playboy. And Annabelle's like, I want to tell her
- 13:18Speaker 1: about Angie and Angie we had met during the like
- 13:22Speaker 1: County Fair barbecue scene, and this is when He's like Angie,
- 13:25Speaker 1: I don't know about Angie to Angie just you know,
- 13:27Speaker 1: the daughter of my friend Greg. I'm like we cut
- 13:30Speaker 1: to Greg, what does Greg think about this? And then
- 13:32Speaker 1: he's like, yeah, you know, Angie, not just hang out,
- 13:34Speaker 1: we just drink like normal good of things. And then
- 13:39Speaker 1: she's like, well that's suspect. Also, you've been fucking me.
- 13:43Speaker 1: And then we get this story where one night they
- 13:47Speaker 1: were all partying at like a hotel or something, and
- 13:50Speaker 1: Nicole was like, come back to my room, Shay, and
- 13:53Speaker 1: Shane was like, okay, but only if we don't have sex.
- 13:56Speaker 1: And that Shae, he says this one billion times, is
- 14:00Speaker 1: in his full fucking clothes, which I gave him grace
- 14:03Speaker 1: for not doing this in the Philippines, but obviously he'll
- 14:05Speaker 1: do this anywhere else. Lays in bed with Nicole and
- 14:08Speaker 1: passes out in all of his clothes. So that's how
- 14:12Speaker 1: we know that no fucking was happening, and that when
- 14:16Speaker 1: he woke up, Nicole was on the phone with Annabel,
- 14:19Speaker 1: who had called, and Nicole was only too happy to
- 14:22Speaker 1: be like Annabel, hi, Hi. It was like face timing
- 14:25Speaker 1: and be like, look look at me in the bed
- 14:28Speaker 1: with you know Shae. The you know, like an Annabel
- 14:31Speaker 1: was upset, and that's one of the reasons why Annabel,
- 14:33Speaker 1: like when she calls and talks to Shaye all the time.
- 14:35Speaker 1: She's like, don't go drinking, and she's like, I won't
- 14:38Speaker 1: be and he's like drinking. He's like, I literally divide
- 14:41Speaker 1: the amount of drinks I have by four. I tell
- 14:43Speaker 1: her how many I had. I'm like, I only had
- 14:46Speaker 1: four drinks, but it means twelve. First of all, I
- 14:53Speaker 1: I I can't have more than two drinks nowadays. It's
- 15:01Speaker 1: very frustrating. I don't like it. I wish I could,
- 15:06Speaker 1: because you know whatever, it's not that I drink that much,
- 15:08Speaker 1: but it's like, you know, two drinks and then you're done.
- 15:10Speaker 1: It's only annoying because you can get you know, two
- 15:13Speaker 1: drinks down in like three hours, and what if you
- 15:15Speaker 1: still have to be out? Then what do you do?
- 15:21Speaker 1: Hope and pray I've eaten enough to like, you know,
- 15:23Speaker 1: get a third drink down, But no, truly, once I
- 15:25Speaker 1: had that third drink, it's bad. I mean there were
- 15:27Speaker 1: times when I could have like four or five drinks
- 15:30Speaker 1: back in the day, but I can't do it anymore.
- 15:32Speaker 1: And I mean it's annoying, but twelve twelve drinks and
- 15:36Speaker 1: then being like dividing that by four and only saying
- 15:38Speaker 1: four is like, you know, a normal night, totally chill.
- 15:44Speaker 1: It's interesting. The perception of alcohol is so interesting, right, Like,
- 15:50Speaker 1: would Shaye call himself an alcoholic? Would Alice and his
- 15:54Speaker 1: daughter either her or her dad alcoholic? No? No, I
- 15:58Speaker 1: would assume probably not. Twelve drinks a lot? How often
- 16:02Speaker 1: do you drink twelve drinks? I don't even drink twelve
- 16:06Speaker 1: drinks in a month anyway. So in this conversation, she's like,
- 16:16Speaker 1: you're not going to talk to Annabelle, especially if you're
- 16:18Speaker 1: warning me about the shit you're going to talk about.
- 16:19Speaker 1: An Annabelle, don't come back. There's a no trespassing sign.
- 16:23Speaker 1: That's the mother of your youngest child. We canna do
- 16:25Speaker 1: arrest her. She doesn't give a fuck about that no
- 16:27Speaker 1: trespassing sign. I don't think that this is the kind
- 16:30Speaker 1: of woman that's like really thinking about the law the
- 16:33Speaker 1: goddamn time and being like, how can I abide by it?
- 16:38Speaker 1: Let's talk about our last couple. I don't want to
- 16:42Speaker 1: do it, but I know you have to, So my goodness, gracious,
- 16:46Speaker 1: it's Katie and Josh. Katie is from Portland. Josh is
- 16:51Speaker 1: from Britain. Have you heard of it? He's from a
- 16:54Speaker 1: crazy unknown place called Cambridge. At one point, he's like,
- 17:01Speaker 1: they ask the producers like and Josh, where are you from?
- 17:03Speaker 1: Or no, this is what happened. Sorry. Katie's like, I'm
- 17:06Speaker 1: Katie and this is my boyfriend Josh. He's from Hey, babe,
- 17:11Speaker 1: say it so I can repeat it after you. And
- 17:14Speaker 1: when she said that, I was like, she doesn't know
- 17:15Speaker 1: the city. And then he said Cambridge, which is like
- 17:21Speaker 1: a known British city. It's like very Shakespearean, you know,
- 17:28Speaker 1: it's like London, Oxford, Cambridge, there's like whatever the three
- 17:34Speaker 1: places I know in London I mean sorry, in England,
- 17:37Speaker 1: Oh god, you know, I just got Cambridge is like
- 17:39Speaker 1: a known SETI That's all I'm not saying. And I
- 17:41Speaker 1: really didn't prove my point anyway. When you first meet
- 17:44Speaker 1: Katie talk about alcoholics, she says that she is five
- 17:49Speaker 1: minutes from landing, currently only five minutes from landing in
- 17:54Speaker 1: whatever airport she's coming from, and she is putting a
- 17:59Speaker 1: full jack days into her coke. Now that seems crazy
- 18:05Speaker 1: to me because you're getting tipsy to just be in
- 18:08Speaker 1: an airport now, and like getting her luggage and having
- 18:11Speaker 1: to travel home like surely of course, like if you're
- 18:14Speaker 1: getting on a plane and you have a flight and
- 18:15Speaker 1: you want to have a drink, It's like, yeah, you're
- 18:17Speaker 1: gonna be sitting for hours on an end. That makes sense.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I can't imagine someone being like, oh, we're about to land, quick,
- 18:23Speaker 1: more drinks. That's just the first. She has blue glitternails.
- 18:29Speaker 1: That makes me happy. She said that she's lived a
- 18:31Speaker 1: nomadic lifestyle. When we see her next, she's like, you know,
- 18:34Speaker 1: meeting up with her run club, which is a bunch
- 18:37Speaker 1: of people that feel like they know her, you know, superficially,
- 18:40Speaker 1: And she's like, I'm impulsive. I've learned about this thing
- 18:44Speaker 1: where you could just pet sit and live in different places.
- 18:46Speaker 1: So the next morning I did it. Then she describes
- 18:53Speaker 1: how she met Josh, and it's the most convoluted, crazy
- 18:57Speaker 1: ass story that's basically like, again, what all the people do?
- 19:03Speaker 1: They travel? Yes, So I know that I'm wrong about this.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I know that I have to do this because everyone
- 19:07Speaker 1: does it. When you travel, you open up a dating
- 19:10Speaker 1: app right fucking away, you know, once you're done pounding whatever,
- 19:13Speaker 1: drink off the plane, next moment, open up a dating
- 19:16Speaker 1: app and just see who's around. And then she meets
- 19:20Speaker 1: up with this guy, right, and this guy and her
- 19:22Speaker 1: go on a date and then he and her makeout
- 19:27Speaker 1: on the date and she's taking pictures with all his
- 19:29Speaker 1: friends and he gets kicked out of the bar from whatever,
- 19:34Speaker 1: and then she stays and she makes out with one
- 19:37Speaker 1: friend of his and then makes out with another friend
- 19:40Speaker 1: of his and then asks, like another friend of his
- 19:42Speaker 1: if that person will make out with her, and he's like,
- 19:44Speaker 1: I have a girlfriend. She was pissed, so she goes
- 19:47Speaker 1: in the bathroom and has a drunk feetie where she's like,
- 19:49Speaker 1: I may out with this person, mate out this person,
- 19:50Speaker 1: but he also has his other friend, Josh, and I
- 19:53Speaker 1: want him. So then she goes up to Josh and
- 19:56Speaker 1: she's like, Josh, we make up with me, and he's like,
- 19:58Speaker 1: i' literally watch you make out with like three of
- 20:02Speaker 1: my friends. She's like okay, So she goes outside and
- 20:05Speaker 1: some like gross guy tries to hit on her, and
- 20:07Speaker 1: so then Josh and her. He walks her home, but
- 20:10Speaker 1: not before they stop on a neighboring bench and have
- 20:13Speaker 1: a passionate makeout and then he's like I have to pee,
- 20:17Speaker 1: and then she runs away from him. And that's the story.
- 20:21Speaker 1: But now they're in love. So I'm gonna say this,
- 20:28Speaker 1: I have no sympathy for Josh. Josh knew one percent
- 20:33Speaker 1: what he was getting into, watched it happened before, made
- 20:37Speaker 1: the decision, and now he's you know with Katie. Okay.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Katie is like, I have OCD. I have intrusive thoughts.
- 20:47Speaker 1: I also have like procrastination. I get really involved in
- 20:50Speaker 1: the small details and I let big things slide. And
- 20:54Speaker 1: that's relatable. Like I have ADHD, and I know what
- 20:57Speaker 1: it's like to like be somewhat distracted or obsessed with,
- 21:01Speaker 1: you know, like getting certain things right and then maybe
- 21:04Speaker 1: missing the bigger picture about other things. That makes sense,
- 21:08Speaker 1: And I certainly know what it's like to get drunk
- 21:11Speaker 1: and then want to make out with someone. But the
- 21:14Speaker 1: way she says it is like this part of my OCD.
- 21:17Speaker 1: She's like she blames her OCD in the makeouts. She's like,
- 21:21Speaker 1: I have OCD, and then what happens is if I
- 21:25Speaker 1: drink and I'm in a great mood, I just want
- 21:28Speaker 1: to live in the moment and make out with someone.
- 21:29Speaker 1: But if I'm drunk and I'm in a bad, insecure mood,
- 21:31Speaker 1: then I want to make out with I want to
- 21:32Speaker 1: make me feel better, and I want to be like, girl,
- 21:35Speaker 1: that's not OCD. That's like you being an alcoholic and
- 21:38Speaker 1: then letting your inhibitions down so you can do what
- 21:41Speaker 1: you want to do, whatever that is, which is making
- 21:44Speaker 1: out with people. Obviously, now she does seem to have
- 21:49Speaker 1: an obsessive mind about the amount of minutes in what
- 21:52Speaker 1: she makes out with people. Sometimes when she's saying making out,
- 21:56Speaker 1: I'm like, do you mean fuck? Is this your like
- 21:59Speaker 1: PC way of saying looking or is it only making out? Now?
- 22:02Speaker 1: I love making out with people, I mean people I like.
- 22:05Speaker 1: I do think it's like fun and sensual and intimate,
- 22:09Speaker 1: and I think I'm a great kisser, Like I think
- 22:10Speaker 1: all those things are true. So I really get her
- 22:13Speaker 1: heart on this. And truly, when you drink like it's
- 22:18Speaker 1: a drinking, does you know make you horny kind of
- 22:23Speaker 1: in a way that like smoking weed doesn't make me
- 22:26Speaker 1: want to make out with people. I don't really do
- 22:29Speaker 1: any other drugs. I'm trying to think, like when I
- 22:32Speaker 1: did like shroom gummies, I don't feel like I remember
- 22:35Speaker 1: like wanting to make out with people. Alcohol really is
- 22:38Speaker 1: like a sexy drug. I think there are other drugs
- 22:42Speaker 1: like cocaine maybe or like MDMA that is more like that,
- 22:46Speaker 1: but I don't just don't know about those drugs as
- 22:48Speaker 1: much anyway. So uh. She also is like, Josh expects
- 22:54Speaker 1: me to find us an apartment, and I'll tell you
- 22:57Speaker 1: right now, I haven't done it. So she shows us
- 23:00Speaker 1: this storage locker where she like just has a bunch
- 23:02Speaker 1: of like random bins with some beans. And then the
- 23:05Speaker 1: next confessional, she's like, I got an apartment. I just
- 23:10Speaker 1: signed a lease. Didn't even see it. And we're like,
- 23:12Speaker 1: why didn't you see it? Why don't you just go
- 23:15Speaker 1: see it? Is it that hard? Also she's like I
- 23:18Speaker 1: am chill, like I was living in my car. Josh
- 23:21Speaker 1: just like can't stand a night of discomfort. And I'm like,
- 23:24Speaker 1: I'm with Josh, I also can't stand a night of discomfort.
- 23:33Speaker 1: So now she's in a hotel room while the apartment
- 23:37Speaker 1: gets ready, and she got a hotel with a kitchen,
- 23:39Speaker 1: which I thought was smart, And she's making cake pops
- 23:42Speaker 1: and she's getting like her America regalia together to like,
- 23:45Speaker 1: you know, greet him at the airport. She makes red
- 23:48Speaker 1: and blue cake pops. We're like, okay, it's cute, you know. Also,
- 23:50Speaker 1: this takes this is, you know, like an endeavor. It's
- 23:54Speaker 1: like sometimes when I'm like something like cake pops, It's like,
- 23:58Speaker 1: that's so much work, is it? Was it? I wonder
- 24:02Speaker 1: if it was more expensive to just buy cake pops anyway?
- 24:07Speaker 1: So then God bless her. She's coming out of the hotel.
- 24:11Speaker 1: She has her balloon, she has the cake pops. One
- 24:14Speaker 1: fucking cake pop jumps out of her like two short
- 24:19Speaker 1: bowl and lands face first on the asphalt of the
- 24:24Speaker 1: parking lot. She picks it up, and she puts it
- 24:29Speaker 1: right back in that bowl with the other ones and says,
- 24:32Speaker 1: Josh won't eat that one. Why not let that one go?
- 24:39Speaker 1: Let that fallen soldier be left behind, you know, no
- 24:46Speaker 1: cake pop left behind, she said, and she picked it up,
- 24:50Speaker 1: she put it back in the bowl. I thought that
- 24:56Speaker 1: was interesting because you know, OCD manifests in so many
- 25:00Speaker 1: different ways, right, And she mentions that like her, she
- 25:03Speaker 1: has OCD tendencies to like check the stove and like
- 25:07Speaker 1: check her car lock and stuff like that. Some of
- 25:12Speaker 1: the like other tropes we maybe stereotically know about OCD
- 25:17Speaker 1: is like having everything in a uniform order, like you know,
- 25:20Speaker 1: like cans in a pantry all having the labels out. Also,
- 25:25Speaker 1: someone has OCD if they're like somewhat obsessed with germs,
- 25:29Speaker 1: Like that's another thing. She surely doesn't have those two,
- 25:33Speaker 1: not with that storage unit and not with putting that
- 25:37Speaker 1: parking lot cake pop right back in the same bin
- 25:40Speaker 1: as all the other cake pops. Now all of them
- 25:43Speaker 1: are fucked up, but not in her mind in my mind,
- 25:46Speaker 1: do I I mean in my mind? Hm? She said
- 25:53Speaker 1: her sex life with him is gotten dull, and I
- 25:55Speaker 1: believe that he doesn't like PDA. He's British, like I've
- 26:01Speaker 1: already said, you know, there is no other way for
- 26:04Speaker 1: her but to be like in a full liplock at
- 26:05Speaker 1: all times. She does her makeup really cute. When we
- 26:10Speaker 1: see her sands makeup, she has a completely different face.
- 26:15Speaker 1: It's interesting some people because of their skin tone. And
- 26:18Speaker 1: I love her skin tone. It's like peaches and cream.
- 26:21Speaker 1: And she has like red hair, truly great, just so interesting. Yeah,
- 26:23Speaker 1: without any makeup, it looks like a blank canvas, you know,
- 26:28Speaker 1: like no eyebrows, no, no anything. And so having said that,
- 26:32Speaker 1: she does her eyebrow makeup really cute. Like when she
- 26:36Speaker 1: does her makeup, it looks really really good, you know,
- 26:40Speaker 1: and natural that. I'm like, she does a natural beat face,
- 26:43Speaker 1: she puts on a red lip, she looks super cute,
- 26:45Speaker 1: and you know, the color that choossing on her eyebrows
- 26:48Speaker 1: is great. I just want to give people grace. Okay.
- 26:52Speaker 1: So she sees him at the airport. You know, it's
- 26:56Speaker 1: the kind of moment we all want, which is, you know,
- 26:59Speaker 1: a running and kid moment. He seems like it's not
- 27:04Speaker 1: his most you know, favorite thing to do, which you
- 27:06Speaker 1: know is interesting because we like have had so many
- 27:08Speaker 1: airport couples where some people really give great makeouts, some
- 27:11Speaker 1: people don't, and we've seen a lot of like, you know,
- 27:15Speaker 1: maybe like the Muslim man who's like, I don't feel
- 27:19Speaker 1: comfortable with kissing and the woman who's like, I want
- 27:20Speaker 1: to make out of the airport. And he's British, so
- 27:23Speaker 1: so he's you know, he's just British's it's not his thing.
- 27:29Speaker 1: She sees him and she's like can we make out?
- 27:31Speaker 1: And then she's like for four minutes? And then in
- 27:35Speaker 1: the confessional she's like, do you want to make out
- 27:37Speaker 1: for four minutes now? And neither one is he like yes.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Sometimes I'm like, okay, well I need this girl to
- 27:46Speaker 1: like read a face because she's not like she. I
- 27:48Speaker 1: guess she's asking for consent by asking that. He's never
- 27:52Speaker 1: saying no verbally, but his demeanor and face and lips
- 27:57Speaker 1: are screaming no no. Now, he does describe her as
- 28:05Speaker 1: being chaotic and wild and lovely, and it's an opposite
- 28:10Speaker 1: attract thing for him. It feels that way. Two step forward,
- 28:13Speaker 1: one step back, they come together because opposites attract. You know.
- 28:18Speaker 1: It ain't fiction, okay, just a natural thing. Okay. So
- 28:26Speaker 1: at the airport, she's like, I got you this hat.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Wear the hat. The hat is Uncle Sam. Uncle Sam
- 28:35Speaker 1: is an American icon from the past. Or is he fake?
- 28:42Speaker 1: Is he a fake American icon? Is he a real
- 28:46Speaker 1: I just like the American icon. He's legendary. Now he
- 28:51Speaker 1: is technically, I guess, an American icon, but he's an
- 28:55Speaker 1: American like icon in the sense that his image is yeah, uh,
- 29:04Speaker 1: like Rosie the Riveter, like we can do it in
- 29:09Speaker 1: the war, he's I think Uncle Sam is just like
- 29:12Speaker 1: a cartoon. And we used to love cartoons in America.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Made us really happy. We would all get behind. Yeah.
- 29:23Speaker 1: I don't really understand what Uncle Sam's whole thing was.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Was it like enlist in the army, be like your
- 29:28Speaker 1: uncle Sam, because like Rosie the Riveter was like, we
- 29:31Speaker 1: can do it, ladies. The men are at war, so
- 29:33Speaker 1: now we have to do all the men things. And
- 29:36Speaker 1: it turns out we were fucking good at it. So
- 29:38Speaker 1: when they came back from war, we were like, oh,
- 29:41Speaker 1: we can just do the things and not to listen
- 29:43Speaker 1: to your bullshit all the time because you don't do
- 29:45Speaker 1: them as good as we do. And that's what happened
- 29:47Speaker 1: for a league of their own anyway, that's true. Kind
- 29:50Speaker 1: of well, that's what the movie's about. We know that
- 29:54Speaker 1: he is like this is hilarious or weird, I'm not
- 29:57Speaker 1: quite sure. He kind of always looks at her like
- 29:59Speaker 1: he is watching an alien talk, but a hot enough alien.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Then he'll stick around and be probed at some point,
- 30:07Speaker 1: just as long as it's not publicly, and she's like,
- 30:10Speaker 1: let's do it publicly. So the other thing that she
- 30:13Speaker 1: does is like, look, I brought my red lingerie to
- 30:18Speaker 1: the airport. Here's my red lingerie. I'm gonna wear it later.
- 30:22Speaker 1: I brought it to the airport to show you, and
- 30:25Speaker 1: then I'll bring it back home and I'll wear it.
- 30:28Speaker 1: That's weird for so many reasons. A Because I guess, like,
- 30:31Speaker 1: to me, the stronger option would have been to be
- 30:34Speaker 1: wearing the red Lingerie and you could have done the
- 30:37Speaker 1: following things. She could be wearing her clothes, I don't
- 30:39Speaker 1: need the red lingerie and then at some point be
- 30:41Speaker 1: like show them something or God bless or if she
- 30:45Speaker 1: wanted to be even kinky, or she could wear the
- 30:47Speaker 1: red Lingerie and then just wear like a trench coat
- 30:51Speaker 1: on top, and then when he came off of the
- 30:55Speaker 1: baggage claim, she could be like hi, and then she
- 30:57Speaker 1: could just flash him. You know, I would love to
- 31:00Speaker 1: see his face. But no, I guess just bring red
- 31:02Speaker 1: lingerie out and then show it to him and then
- 31:05Speaker 1: be like this is happening Later it's like, well that's
- 31:07Speaker 1: not as fun, Then just show him later, because I
- 31:11Speaker 1: don't think it's exciting to just show someone lingerie. Here's
- 31:14Speaker 1: a thing. There's never been a I unfortunately haven't been
- 31:17Speaker 1: with a guy that has ever appreciated lingerie. To me,
- 31:27Speaker 1: usually anytime I've worn lingerie, thinking that I look cute
- 31:31Speaker 1: as hell, like in front of a guy, like their
- 31:33Speaker 1: whole thing is like great, take it off, off, off off,
- 31:37Speaker 1: you know, like, and I get to show my body,
- 31:40Speaker 1: but like, you know, I'm just I don't There are
- 31:42Speaker 1: men I guess that like lingerie, but I haven't met one.
- 31:46Speaker 1: But I assume that the men that do like lingerie.
- 31:49Speaker 1: That whole thing means like, if you're wearing it, if
- 31:51Speaker 1: they see it on your body, I can't imagine men
- 31:54Speaker 1: are like, look red lacy thong off just in your hand? Wow? Hot. Also, yeah,
- 32:02Speaker 1: she really wants to like in tempt him into wanting sex.
- 32:07Speaker 1: She's like, please be horny for me, because she said
- 32:12Speaker 1: her sex life was dull. She's like, he doesn't really
- 32:13Speaker 1: think about it that much. She's already dropped the hint
- 32:15Speaker 1: that he should pick up condoms. She's like, I really
- 32:17Speaker 1: want him to do it so that he thinks about sex.
- 32:21Speaker 1: And this is really bad in me. I was like, Oh,
- 32:24Speaker 1: you're gonna tempt him to want to have sex with
- 32:27Speaker 1: you with condom sex? Now, listen, I want everyone to
- 32:30Speaker 1: be protected. But I'm just saying if you you know,
- 32:33Speaker 1: I just if I was bad, how do I say? Yeah,
- 32:35Speaker 1: Oh I can't. I mean, you know, condom. I want
- 32:38Speaker 1: everyone to be protected, god bless, Like I already said
- 32:40Speaker 1: one billion times, just if you're going to make someone horny.
- 32:45Speaker 1: I can't imagine that. The first thought of is like,
- 32:48Speaker 1: I bet you can't wait to put on a condom,
- 32:54Speaker 1: you know, like please, If you're not even thinking about sex,
- 32:59Speaker 1: definitely your dick even less sensitive by putting on a
- 33:02Speaker 1: plastic rubber thing. Then think about it. Now, what I
- 33:07Speaker 1: said is horrible, really bad. I mean bad, and I
- 33:12Speaker 1: know it. I wish I didn't say what I said.
- 33:14Speaker 1: I like to pretend that I'm talking into a microphone
- 33:16Speaker 1: that no one will hear, not even me. I don't
- 33:19Speaker 1: even listen to my own podcast. This is just going
- 33:20Speaker 1: to go into the ether, and all of my thoughts
- 33:22Speaker 1: and all every horrible, distasteful, bad word I've said doesn't
- 33:28Speaker 1: even exist. No one even listens. But that's not true.
- 33:32Speaker 1: So you have to either be like on board with
- 33:35Speaker 1: this or just know I'm joking. Okay, So we're going
- 33:40Speaker 1: to see what happens with them, obviously, but it's probably
- 33:45Speaker 1: going to be good. And I wonder if anyone is
- 33:48Speaker 1: going to tell her that she has an alcohol problem.
- 33:53Speaker 1: If you continually make bad decisions based upon you making
- 33:57Speaker 1: out with people and it's ruined your relations I think
- 34:01Speaker 1: that you have to like remedy that and I would
- 34:07Speaker 1: want to know, sincerely want to know if her making
- 34:11Speaker 1: out with people only happens where she can't stop it
- 34:14Speaker 1: when she's drinking, or if she is sober and also
- 34:17Speaker 1: has the need to make out with people and would
- 34:19Speaker 1: do so in a relationship with someone Like That's what
- 34:21Speaker 1: I want to know. I need that test. The other
- 34:25Speaker 1: half of me is like Josh is no saint like you,
- 34:29Speaker 1: you know, you catch them, how you leave them or
- 34:31Speaker 1: whatever that phrase is. It's like, she went out with
- 34:35Speaker 1: your friend, didn't give a fuck about him, made out
- 34:39Speaker 1: with two other people, and then made out with you.
- 34:42Speaker 1: So why do you think that she's not going to
- 34:44Speaker 1: make out with anyone else ever? Again? Just why? I mean,
- 34:49Speaker 1: if you went to Cambridge, if you you know, are
- 34:54Speaker 1: a studied fellow, if you're a scholar, open a book.
- 34:59Speaker 1: Patterns repeat history sometimes repeats itself. The woman has even
- 35:03Speaker 1: told you that she, you know, has OCD, and you've
- 35:07Speaker 1: watched certain things happen, Like she's gonna make out a
- 35:10Speaker 1: fish is gonna swim in water, and she's gonna like
- 35:14Speaker 1: find the nearest mouth that is pleasing to her, makes
- 35:18Speaker 1: her feel good, and she's gonna kiss it, and she's
- 35:20Speaker 1: gonna kiss it for at least four minutes four minutes.
- 35:27Speaker 1: When she keeps saying the four minutes thing, at one
- 35:29Speaker 1: point she says ten minutes, and then she says four minutes.
- 35:31Speaker 1: I wonder if there's yeah, like if there's always a
- 35:34Speaker 1: number involved. I wonder if when she's kissing, if she
- 35:38Speaker 1: is doing a mental clock down, is that it's called
- 35:43Speaker 1: uh no timer. I wonder if it's yeah. I wonder
- 35:52Speaker 1: if it's just kissing, because like after a while, like
- 35:56Speaker 1: other things start to like warm up a little bit,
- 36:01Speaker 1: like you know, fingers go in places and stuff like that.
- 36:03Speaker 1: I'm just I mean, I don't know. You tell me
- 36:04Speaker 1: right a little bit right, like you know, after if
- 36:07Speaker 1: you were making out for like minutes and minutes turn
- 36:11Speaker 1: into you know, twenty or something, I don't know. Then
- 36:13Speaker 1: things other things start to like transpire or you can't
- 36:16Speaker 1: just stay in one place. We're not stagnant maker out.
- 36:20Speaker 1: You can't just like make out only from the top
- 36:22Speaker 1: up all the time. I mean, like mouth only, right,
- 36:26Speaker 1: Like don't people like don't people like start like running
- 36:29Speaker 1: hands through hair and then like there's like bodies press
- 36:31Speaker 1: against each other and then like boobs and like you know,
- 36:34Speaker 1: like start popping out. I don't know, and then you know,
- 36:37Speaker 1: like hands go in different places, like I said, fingers
- 36:39Speaker 1: go in places, you know, like hands go in pain.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Like god, I mean you know what I'm saying, you know,
- 36:43Speaker 1: like I don't have to spell it out for you,
- 36:44Speaker 1: even though obviously I have step by step, Like yeah,
- 36:53Speaker 1: that's just it's just an interesting Yeah. I want her to,
- 36:57Speaker 1: you know, talk more about it. And you know who
- 36:59Speaker 1: does want to talk more about it? Josh that would
- 37:03Speaker 1: rather me shut up about it. You're like, please, Chris, please.
- 37:07Speaker 1: So the other thing that she says, which is interesting
- 37:10Speaker 1: is that he's allergic to nuts, and so now she
- 37:14Speaker 1: can't eat nuts because she wants to obviously make out
- 37:17Speaker 1: with him all the time, and like if she's had
- 37:20Speaker 1: some peanut butter or like a peanut butter pretzel nugget
- 37:24Speaker 1: or like chicken saute with a peanut sauce, she has
- 37:31Speaker 1: to like not make out with him. I like, no,
- 37:35Speaker 1: I mean, obviously we know about peanut allergies. For some reason,
- 37:37Speaker 1: I didn't consider what she was saying being a problem
- 37:41Speaker 1: until now, like oh yeah, then you you know, you
- 37:44Speaker 1: got to like stop bringing that peanut flavored lip gloss
- 37:47Speaker 1: and all that stuff. Is it also tree nuts? Is
- 37:54Speaker 1: it all? Like? Is it peanuts and tree nuts and
- 37:56Speaker 1: almonds and like tahini? Like and he has sesame seeds.
- 38:00Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know. That's what I'm wondering, Like,
- 38:01Speaker 1: is she can't cand she not have hummus anymore? Hummus
- 38:05Speaker 1: hays tahini and tahini seys me seeds. It's not a nut,
- 38:07Speaker 1: you know I'm saying sometimes you know, there's like two
- 38:09Speaker 1: parts of it. I feel so bad that for people
- 38:13Speaker 1: who have peanut allergies. I feel so bad for anyone
- 38:16Speaker 1: who has an allergy that's like life threatening, especially because
- 38:21Speaker 1: like if you are you know, severely celiac or you
- 38:25Speaker 1: have a peanut allergy. I just hate the idea that
- 38:28Speaker 1: if you go out and eat at a restaurant and
- 38:29Speaker 1: you're like somewhat taking your life in your hands. And
- 38:33Speaker 1: as a former server, I remember, you know, I worked
- 38:39Speaker 1: at a very hardcore vegan restaurant, which I talk about
- 38:42Speaker 1: all the time, and people would tell me they have
- 38:44Speaker 1: an allergy, you know, to like nuts or something, and
- 38:46Speaker 1: it would fill me with fucking anxiety. A thankfully one
- 38:51Speaker 1: of the because the restaurant had gotten sued for one
- 38:56Speaker 1: of these things. One of the guidelines in the restaurant
- 39:00Speaker 1: is that if a table had an allergy, the server
- 39:03Speaker 1: like me would have to go tell the manager immediately,
- 39:06Speaker 1: and you would almost be able to like somewhat wash
- 39:09Speaker 1: your hands of the situation of being like now the
- 39:12Speaker 1: manager has to like deal with all the ingredient looking
- 39:15Speaker 1: at but you know, truly you obviously have to as well,
- 39:17Speaker 1: like no, what has you know, you would have like
- 39:19Speaker 1: a twofold side, but yeah, just having to oh, okay,
- 39:23Speaker 1: and then run to the recipe book, in the ingredient
- 39:27Speaker 1: book and look through every dressing, every ingredient of every
- 39:31Speaker 1: dish and like look for peanuts. Oh my god, and
- 39:34Speaker 1: then like hopefully, yeah, hopefully think that you've done a
- 39:38Speaker 1: good enough job and everything is up to date, so
- 39:40Speaker 1: this person's not going to die on your watch. I mean,
- 39:43Speaker 1: I feel bad across the board, you know, like I
- 39:45Speaker 1: feel bad for them, I feel bad for servers, you know.
- 39:48Speaker 1: And then yeah, people like sue people because they eat something.
- 39:51Speaker 1: And at the same time, what if there's like not
- 39:55Speaker 1: any peanuts in your thing, but there's a peanut and
- 39:58Speaker 1: another thing, and then you know, the thing that is
- 40:00Speaker 1: happening back in the kitchen, is one little peanut gets
- 40:02Speaker 1: in your thing, or what if the knife was I
- 40:04Speaker 1: don't even know. There's so many different things that can happen. God,
- 40:08Speaker 1: I'm so sorry. Side note is I got a full
- 40:11Speaker 1: allergy test on Monday, like a prick test, like you
- 40:15Speaker 1: know where they prick you. You know what that means. Okay,
- 40:18Speaker 1: So anyway, and then they did this extra thing where
- 40:21Speaker 1: if some things were negative, they injected the thing underneath
- 40:24Speaker 1: my skin to make sure it was negative. And then
- 40:26Speaker 1: I found out. Okay, I knew that I was allergic
- 40:28Speaker 1: to dogs and cats, which I hate and I don't
- 40:30Speaker 1: even have one. I don't even have them anyway, but
- 40:32Speaker 1: I still hated that. I also find out I'm allergic
- 40:35Speaker 1: to horses, which there was a time in my life
- 40:38Speaker 1: where I thought that I was going to like try
- 40:39Speaker 1: and ride horses, and thankfully i'd given that up and
- 40:41Speaker 1: now I know I can't. But then I found out
- 40:44Speaker 1: and this is the worst part. Then I'm allergic two
- 40:48Speaker 1: feathers and I live in down like goose feather like
- 41:00Speaker 1: that's listen. I just got done thing and work at
- 41:03Speaker 1: a Bigan restaurant. I obviously not not vegan, and you
- 41:06Speaker 1: please don't come for me, but like, yeah, I mean
- 41:10Speaker 1: I have a down duvet and I have down pillows,
- 41:14Speaker 1: you know, like I love a fucking down something or
- 41:17Speaker 1: other and I can't have those in my life anymore.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Except I decided to have like six months of weekly
- 41:26Speaker 1: allergy shots to try and get my shit together because
- 41:30Speaker 1: I don't want to be allergic to all the things.
- 41:32Speaker 1: And also, like I also realized or whatever they told me,
- 41:36Speaker 1: I was allergic to like two kinds of pollen and
- 41:38Speaker 1: two kinds of mold, and I'm allergic to dust mites.
- 41:42Speaker 1: And it feels like all of those things just exist
- 41:43Speaker 1: in the world, like there's no getting around those things.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Like pollen is just in the air, well just I
- 41:49Speaker 1: don't know where it is, but it could be anywhere.
- 41:52Speaker 1: And you know, dust mites are part also of the air.
- 41:58Speaker 1: I can't be allergic to air, like different airs and
- 42:01Speaker 1: different buildings like no or outside. I mean, you know,
- 42:05Speaker 1: either way air could have allergens. I mean, my god,
- 42:09Speaker 1: So anyway, yeah, that's my life. Do I have to
- 42:12Speaker 1: like yeah, start a six month weekly shot treatment And
- 42:17Speaker 1: I had it, like my two options were, and you're
- 42:19Speaker 1: like if you're a person that deals with this, you
- 42:21Speaker 1: like now like you can either do sublingual things where
- 42:24Speaker 1: like you have to tell yourself that every day you'll
- 42:26Speaker 1: put shit underneath your tongue and then you know, for
- 42:30Speaker 1: six months and then you'll like, you know, reset your
- 42:33Speaker 1: allergy response immune system thing. Who knows, God bless but
- 42:36Speaker 1: I knew that I'd be bad at that. I knew
- 42:39Speaker 1: I'm not to be trusted with like every day something
- 42:42Speaker 1: I'm really not like. I'm more to be trusted that
- 42:45Speaker 1: once a week, I can get myself to a place
- 42:47Speaker 1: and you give me a shot, you do it, stick
- 42:51Speaker 1: it in me. And I was hoping they're not painful shots.
- 42:55Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, oh God, bless it. Listen. I Katie.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Katie seems to me like someone who is obviously eccentric,
- 43:09Speaker 1: obviously very quirky. She's super cute and she's you know,
- 43:13Speaker 1: of a young age, and her personality looks like the
- 43:19Speaker 1: way she is and she can kind of get by
- 43:21Speaker 1: with being like a cute, quirky, eccentric kind of flighty
- 43:26Speaker 1: maker out her from Portland. I will only say this.
- 43:30Speaker 1: I kind of watched her and I was like, Katie,
- 43:33Speaker 1: what happens like in twenty years when you're not as
- 43:37Speaker 1: adorably pert as you are now perky or whatever, I
- 43:40Speaker 1: don't know what the word is. Like, she doesn't seem
- 43:44Speaker 1: to want to take responsibility for her actions and doesn't
- 43:48Speaker 1: seem to me unless she can tell us like her
- 43:52Speaker 1: therapy and the inner work that she's doing in the
- 43:55Speaker 1: cognitive behavioral therapy. And I don't know what she has
- 43:57Speaker 1: to do or the drugs or whatever. I'm sure what
- 44:00Speaker 1: she's doing to like remedy, uh, some of the things
- 44:04Speaker 1: that she knows that she has issues with. And as
- 44:07Speaker 1: you get older, those things get worse, except you get
- 44:10Speaker 1: less forgivable because people think you're older and you're not
- 44:15Speaker 1: as like adorably cute. I'm not saying that people get
- 44:19Speaker 1: ugly when they get older. They just change, you know,
- 44:21Speaker 1: you maybe get like beautiful or whatever the words are,
- 44:23Speaker 1: but like you're not. So it's just hard for like,
- 44:25Speaker 1: you know, you know, like a seventy two year old
- 44:28Speaker 1: person and be like I just make it out of people.
- 44:30Speaker 1: I don't know. Here's some beans. I mean, you know,
- 44:35Speaker 1: I hope for the best, I really do, you know,
- 44:37Speaker 1: And yet and yet I just don't know what's gonna happen.
- 44:42Speaker 1: My loves, but you know what we're gonna find out
- 44:44Speaker 1: on this season of ninety Day Fiance season twelve. In
- 44:50Speaker 1: my getting therapy era for my OCD, I don't know,
- 44:55Speaker 1: you know how there's like exposure therapy where the thing
- 44:58Speaker 1: the therapy is you just got to do the thing.
- 45:01Speaker 1: What if there was a therapist? I was like, well,
- 45:03Speaker 1: you just have to go to a bar and make
- 45:06Speaker 1: out with every person there until your mouth is raw
- 45:10Speaker 1: and you're sick of making out with people. Wasn't there
- 45:14Speaker 1: a thing where people would be like, oh, I don't know.
- 45:17Speaker 1: My parents caught me smoking, so they made me sit
- 45:20Speaker 1: down and like smoke a whole carton of cigarettes. I'm
- 45:26Speaker 1: not saying either one of these things are good, but
- 45:28Speaker 1: could you imagine, like you, Katie, you have to go
- 45:31Speaker 1: to the grossest bar you could possibly think of the
- 45:35Speaker 1: grossest one, and you have to make out with every
- 45:37Speaker 1: single person there. She's like, Okay, I don't know. I
- 45:45Speaker 1: also want to know what Josh's friend thinks, like the
- 45:48Speaker 1: one that she met that like started this whole thing,
- 45:50Speaker 1: Like the date that she had originally went on where
- 45:53Speaker 1: he got kicked out and Josh picked up the slack,
- 45:56Speaker 1: like I wonder how that man's doing and if we're
- 45:58Speaker 1: going to ever see that guy. That guy like fuck you, Josh,
- 46:01Speaker 1: or is that guy like onto the next or is
- 46:03Speaker 1: that guy still like in a you know, ditch somewhere
- 46:06Speaker 1: because he got kicked out of a bar and was
- 46:08Speaker 1: like also maybe someone who has problems with alcohol. This
- 46:12Speaker 1: whole season seems a lot of like a lot of
- 46:15Speaker 1: alcoholics and like I said, and like some aggressive ass people.
- 46:22Speaker 1: I hope we see Panina Torney. I really do. Would
- 46:28Speaker 1: it be fun if, like at the tell all, anyone
- 46:30Speaker 1: who gets married gets to go to Kleinfeld's What if
- 46:33Speaker 1: there was a ninety day fiance Kleinfeld's collab? I'm I
- 46:43Speaker 1: should be a TV exec. I mean I should be
- 46:45Speaker 1: like a TV something or other. Right, Oh my god,
- 46:49Speaker 1: I've been talking for so long, I mean so wildly long.
- 46:55Speaker 1: Thank you guys so much for listening. I truly truly
- 46:58Speaker 1: appreciate it. I love you guys so much, and I
- 47:02Speaker 1: really am so thankful for anyone who listens to my
- 47:06Speaker 1: stupidest thoughts and deals with my cross humor and my
- 47:10Speaker 1: bad jokes. Will you marry me? Just kidding, but yeah,
- 47:16Speaker 1: thank you guys so much. It really means a lot.
