  And why is it so important to people joining us right now,

  that person joining us right now, that they live in a state

  that has a gold and silver legal tender legislation?

  You bet. There's several.

  OK, By the way, the Constitution allows for us to do this right

  now. I get hit with that all the

  time. Hey, we don't need a bill.

  We can do that right now. Yes, we can.

  You and I, Ron, can exchange gold and silver all day long,
• 1:28
  You know, basically between us. But businesses are less likely
• 1:33
  to take it if two circumstances aren't actually approached
• 1:37
  properly. Number one, legal tender status
• 1:40
  in the state. Gold and silver is not legal
• 1:43
  tender in most states. There are I believe five states
• 1:46
  right now that actually have it and I'll, I'll even name them.
• 1:50
  We'll start with with Utah because they got it done.
• 1:52
  First we have Oklahoma, Arizona, Tex.
• 1:58
  Is it Texas? No, no, no, Arkansas.

  And one more state that I'm missing right now.
• 2:03
  Kansas. Nope.
• 2:05
  I don't think they have legal tender If no, Arkansas was the
• 2:10
  only one that got it done in 2023, but there are five states.
• 2:13
  Technically, Arizona is typically missed.
• 2:16
  They do have it though. They have it written
• 2:18
  differently. So legal tender status.
• 2:21
  In other words, the state recognizes that gold and silver
• 2:25
  are quote, UN quote transactable money.
• 2:28
  OK. That's what you get with legal
• 2:29
  status or I'm sorry, legal tender status Part 2.
• 2:33
  And also important, if the state is accepting gold and silver for
• 2:39
  payment of taxes. Now this does not mean that you
• 2:41
  and I will do this, Ron, but they will accept gold and silver
• 2:44
  along with a dollar along with whatever else for payment of
• 2:48
  taxes. Businesses will be much more
• 2:52
  likely to transact in gold and silver if they can pay taxes on
• 2:56
  it if they need to, if they want to.
• 2:59
  And so those are the two things that are really necessary.

  But the really big enchilada, the elephant in the room, Ron,
• 3:07
  that everyone, everyone wants, every state wants is a
• 3:10
  depository. Now the depository is critical
• 3:14
  for so many different reasons #1.
• 3:17
  Every state has a pension fund and and that is usually handled
• 3:21
  by the treasurer of the state. Well, if we're hyper inflating
• 3:25
  and they're holding on to bonds as is their reserves in these
• 3:28
  pension funds, they are losing out to inflation as they have
• 3:32
  been for the last three years where the bonds are paying, you
• 3:36
  know, typically 2.4% that most states are holding inflation's
• 3:40
  been over 10%. This does not bode well for
• 3:44
  pension funds. So yes, the people, the
• 3:48
  pensioners will get the same amount of money they were
• 3:50
  promised, but it's worth less. So and then also they'll pay out
• 3:55
  more, you know basically under those circumstances as well.
• 3:58
  If you have a depository in your state that is linked to your
• 4:02
  state government, you're basically starting to compete
• 4:05
  with the Federal Reserve by having reserves in your state
• 4:09
  that go above and beyond. You know basically any assets
• 4:12
  that are directly linked to the value of the dollar, no gold and
• 4:17
  silver technically are linked to the value of the dollar.
• 4:19
  We we value them in dollars always, but the fact is they
• 4:24
  typically go up you know over time where the value of the
• 4:28
  dollar typically goes down. So this is hedging.

  If you have a four O 1K, Ron, your guy who is running your
• 4:37
  4O1K for you is probably going to recommend some gold or silver
• 4:40
  stocks to go into that four O 1K or equally.
• 4:43
  If you have an IRA, they'll probably recommend some physical
• 4:47
  and what you can do with an IRA, this is hedging your investment.
• 4:52
  People typically do that with bonds because they're safe.
• 4:55
  They always, always produce an interest rate, always.

  more time for your audience. We got right to the finish line

  for gold and silver legal tender legislation in 2023.

  He was the speaker of the House, a man by the name of Dean

  Plocker that actually prevented a vote from coming through,
• 6:44
  basically the floor leader, Jonathan Patterson.

  So we got, we got all the way up to the finish line.

  All they had to do is vote on it.
• 6:52
  They already had it on the floor for an hour and 15 minutes or
• 6:54
  something. So they were talking about it.

  They were, you know, but they just took it away, you know,
• 7:00
  just pulled the rug out from under, you know, the Gold and
• 7:02
  Silver folks. And that's a lot of folks in
• 7:04
  Missouri. This year, we're having problems
• 7:07
  again with Dean Blocker. Dean Blocker, a one man who was
• 7:12
  elected, you know, the House Speaker internally with the
• 7:14
  House, what they call the caucus is once again slowing down the
• 7:18
  process of Silver and Gold by literally not assigning it to
• 7:22
  committee. So we'll talk a little bit more
• 7:25
  about that one man holding it back for the state of Missouri.
• 7:28
  I mean people should be aware of that, particularly since this
• 7:30
  one man wants to be, everyone wants to be our Lieutenant
• 7:33
  governor, you know, in the November elections in 2024.

  You know he, he, he apparently he really doesn't want silver
• 7:40
  and gold as legal tender, even though the Constitution of the
• 7:44
  United States, which he swore an oath to defend and protect.
• 7:48
  He doesn't want to make silver and gold money.
• 7:50
  Shame on him. Does does anyone understand why
• 7:55
  he's, you know, putting up this apparent opposition opposition
• 8:00
  to the legislation? Well, he's a politician, so it's
• 8:03
  likely we'll never get the truth out of him.
• 8:05
  But I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that I said that jokingly,
• 8:09
  said that jokingly, Dean. But it's probably more or less
• 8:14
  because he knows it's popular and a lot of his political
• 8:18
  rivals are very much for the bill and want it to get through.

  And maybe he doesn't want them to have a win.

  It could. It could be literally that
• 8:27
  simple, and in fact it most likely is that simple.

  What What's your sense when you talk to average Missouri
• 8:35
  residents? Are they in favor of this
• 8:38
  legislation? By far large, the only ones that
• 8:42
  aren't are the ones that are confused and saying, well, you
• 8:45
  know, hanging around, you know, the store holding on to a bunch
• 8:48
  of silver and gold coins, it's kind of dangerous and
• 8:51
  everything. I I keep telling them there's
• 8:52
  all kinds of ways to transact in gold and silver.
• 8:54
  And in fact, I actually went to a House hearing last week and
• 8:58
  that was for, sorry, Senator Eagle's bill.

  That would be ASB 735, which is nearly an identical copy of
• 9:07
  Bills Bill or Hardwicks. I'm getting people confused.

  We have two bills running the same bill.
• 9:15
  So we have Bill Eagle in the Senate and Bill Hardwick in the
• 9:20
  House, and they're both running the same silver and gold bill.

  So that can get confusing real quick.

  Yeah, a lot. A lot.

  Of bills. I'm, I'm, I'm.
• 9:26
  But thank you for explaining. That makes sense now.

  But yeah, too many bills. Yep.

  So I I testified. And unfortunately they don't

  have an archive with the Senate, so people can't go back and
• 9:38
  listen to it. But the fact of the matter is, I
• 9:41
  was just explaining the different ways you can transact
• 9:43
  in gold and silver. I was actually showing them
• 9:45
  advice that, you know, I don't have it with me right now, but
• 9:49
  you can hold it in your hand that will actually determine the
• 9:51
  purity of gold and silver coins and bars.
• 9:54
  And you know, so it's that simple.

  You set one of those up at a register along with, you know,
• 9:58
  a, you know, a tiny digital scale is all you need.

  And boom, you can actually determine the purity and the
• 10:04
  weight right at a, you know at a if someone wants to use it at
• 10:08
  you know a hardware store or whatever.

  So but the fact is people by far and large are are so removed
• 10:18
  from gold and silver for transaction because we've had
• 10:21
  many generations in between when it was normally used for
• 10:25
  transaction. That's not true with silver.

  But people didn't think of it that way because it was in our
• 10:28
  change. I mean it's yeah, we've had two
• 10:32
  generations. 1964 is when Johnson took us off the silver
• 10:35
  standard. People keep forgetting about
• 10:37
  that. That's when silver was no longer
• 10:39
  put into US currency change, which is actually done by the
• 10:43
  Treasury. That's not a Federal Reserve
• 10:45
  operation, by the way. And and then in 1971 off the
• 10:49
  gold standard. It's important for people,
• 10:51
  people to truly, truly understand those actions were
• 10:55
  technically illegal. They didn't go through Congress,
• 10:59
  they didn't amend the Constitution to take away gold
• 11:02
  and silver. They did it by executive Fiat,
• 11:04
  executive order, both of them. So, so at any rate, but the
• 11:10
  Federal Reserve you know basically fills in all the gaps,
• 11:13
  you know when they do that sort of thing.

  Their product became the only thing left we could transact in,
• 11:18
  right. They didn't own silver and gold.
• 11:21
  Silver and gold is no nation's money, it's everybody's.

  So at any rate the, and I'm sorry it took a long, you know,
• 11:31
  tangent off of this, but it's very, very, very important that
• 11:35
  people really truly understand that it's just as easy to
• 11:38
  transact in gold and silver that it is with any version of the
• 11:41
  dollar that you have right now all the way down to your ATM
• 11:44
  card. You can do that with gold and
• 11:45
  silver. Too.

  Yep, Yep. And there's more and more very
• 11:49
  transparent, regulated. Audited functional ways to use
• 11:57
  silver and gold that are coming onto the market every single
• 12:01
  day. If if somebody wants to help

  support the cause, pat, what? What can they do 'cause I know

  grassroots support is critical to this type of.

  List and and we're a total grassroots group.

  We don't have any corporate backers, we don't have

  donations. So basically it's just people

  power your own time, Your own. Done.

  you who are not in Missouri, you probably won't know what I'm

  talking about. But he's the Speaker of the

  House in the state of Missouri. And if Ron is so kind that we'll

  But I'm asking for folks to call his office and e-mail him,

  asking him why he is not giving HB1955, House Bill 1955 a home

  in a committee. Lots and lots of bills are

  getting referred to committee now.

  Nothing's as popular right now as the HB 1955 in the House.

  There's more phone calls and emails coming in on that than
• 13:07
  any other bill. We already talked about why we

  think, you know, he's not letting it go through, but he's

  scandal ridden. He said four major scandals
• 13:16
  since September and so he's politically damaged right now
• 13:20
  and you would think he'd be a little bit nicer under those
• 13:22
  circumstances, but apparently not so.

  But then again, you know it is Dean Blocker.

  So it gets pre filed and then when the session starts in this

  case in 2024, it's January 3rd and then bill start getting

  referred to committee that is the speaker's role.

  The speaker has all the power and it shouldn't be this way,

  but this is the way it is has all the power to assign that
• 15:34
  bill to a committee. No one else can do it.
• 15:36
  Just the speaker of the House, that's Dean Blocker.
• 15:39
  And then once it gets into a committee, basically you have a
• 15:42
  public hearing for a committee in which you know civilians like
• 15:45
  you and me, can I say civilians? That's not the right word.
• 15:48
  But you know, non politicians and it can actually come in and
• 15:52
  testify for or against or do an informational testimony for a
• 15:57
  bill. And then a week after that, they
• 16:00
  typically have what's called an executive session in which the
• 16:04
  committee votes on whether or not to pass the bill out of
• 16:07
  committee and it goes from there to a Rules Committee and they
• 16:10
  vote on it there. They don't have public hearings
• 16:12
  there either. And then they.
• 16:15
  And then once it gets out of Rules Committee, then it goes on
• 16:18
  to a calendar and then someone else has control finally, and
• 16:22
  that's the floor leader. The floor leader can take it
• 16:25
  from the calendar to the floor for debate and perfection in a
• 16:28
  vote. So that's the process that bills
• 16:31
  go through in the House. Slightly different than Senate,
• 16:34
  but it's it's close enough. And this is what Dean Plocker is
• 16:38
  slowing down. I mean, he killed the bill last
• 16:40
  year on the 2nd to the last day of the legislative session.

  He killed gold and silver and now he's just dragging his feet
• 16:48
  on, even letting it go into committee.
• 16:50
  One man is making this decision for 6,000,000 Missourians.

  One man. So we should be giving him some
• 16:58
  calls and sending him some emails.

  And by the way, we need to be nice.

  Being nasty isn't going to get us anywhere.

  Trust me, I know how these people operate up in Jeff City.

  So please do help us participate in the process by getting Dean

  Plocker, putting him on notice that the people of Missouri are

  we understand his game and we simply don't accept it.

  Put it in committee right now, please, There's no reason not

  to. And it has more Co sponsors than
• 17:24
  any other bill. In other words, it's getting
• 17:26
  more attention than any other bill in the House this year so
• 17:30
  far. And and of course it just lays
• 17:33
  dormant, you know in the pre filed status, you know it never
• 17:36
  got assigned. Well, you know, Pat, on behalf
• 17:40
  of myself, I'm a resident of Missouri and the other residents
• 17:44
  of Missouri and even people across the country.

  help further this legislation. I think it's important, and I

  so far, for scandals. And you'd think he would be
