- 0:01Speaker 1: Now on the Voice of New York. He still Mark
- 0:04Speaker 1: sim Own show on sevent tenoo Hey, well, Thursday already
- 0:11Speaker 1: it's it's not the greatest day, a little rainy. It's
- 0:14Speaker 1: gonna get colder. Yeah, it's been a summer like but
- 0:18Speaker 1: it's gonna get cold throughout the day. It'll be down
- 0:20Speaker 1: into the thirties tonight and then forties tomorrow and fifties
- 0:23Speaker 1: over the weekend. But the winter is over. You're nine
- 0:26Speaker 1: days away from spring. Spring begins in nine days, So
- 0:30Speaker 1: a lot to get to today. There's a lot of
- 0:32Speaker 1: Epstein fallout. A lot of people are suddenly leaving their jobs,
- 0:36Speaker 1: their businesses over Epstein. We'll get to that coming up CNN.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Totally humiliated. We'll get to the oscars, we'll get to Well,
- 0:44Speaker 1: lots to talk about today. Now. The latest in Iran.
- 0:48Speaker 1: The Straits of Hormuz is the big issue. Tankers trying
- 0:52Speaker 1: to move through there. A couple got hit. Now, this
- 0:55Speaker 1: is gonna be tough to straighten this out, but not
- 0:57Speaker 1: that tough. It'll take it'll take a week or so
- 1:00Speaker 1: to get things going. The problem is we've taken out
- 1:03Speaker 1: the Iranian Navy, all sixty ships. We didn't even think
- 1:08Speaker 1: they had sixty ships, but we've taken out the entire
- 1:10Speaker 1: Uranian navy. It's non existent. Then they had sixteen mine
- 1:15Speaker 1: laying ships that could plant mines in the bottom of
- 1:17Speaker 1: the water. There those all sixteen have been taken out.
- 1:20Speaker 1: They're gone. Here's the other here's the problem. Now. If
- 1:25Speaker 1: they want to attack ships what's left of the regime,
- 1:28Speaker 1: they do it in two ways. Speedboats loaded with dynamite
- 1:32Speaker 1: that can just come out of nowhere, and drones. Drones
- 1:36Speaker 1: are the hardest thing to defend against because we've taken
- 1:40Speaker 1: out most of their missiles. Because missile requires a launcher,
- 1:43Speaker 1: you can see the launcher and blow up all the launchers.
- 1:46Speaker 1: A drone you can't see. It could be hidden in
- 1:48Speaker 1: a garage, hidden in a basement. You're bring it out
- 1:51Speaker 1: of the garage all of a sudden, there it is
- 1:53Speaker 1: in the air, and it's very hard to stop. So
- 1:55Speaker 1: there are a lot of drones left, less and less
- 1:59Speaker 1: every day. But that's the problem with the ships. Now,
- 2:03Speaker 1: it's going to take a while to figure this out.
- 2:04Speaker 1: They'll have to take out more drones. The only good
- 2:07Speaker 1: news with the drones, you can see where they came
- 2:09Speaker 1: from and take out those locations price of oil will
- 2:13Speaker 1: go up as a result. We're not that dependent on
- 2:16Speaker 1: these Rainian oil coming for the Straits of Hormus. China
- 2:20Speaker 1: is extremely dependent on it, India almost totally dependent on it.
- 2:25Speaker 1: It's twenty percent of the world's oil. And again, we
- 2:27Speaker 1: got all the oil we need right here, so we're
- 2:30Speaker 1: not dependent on it. Just to get the price down,
- 2:33Speaker 1: a number of nations have decided to open up their
- 2:37Speaker 1: strategic petroleum reserve and release a couple hundred million gallons
- 2:42Speaker 1: into the market just to drive the price down. You
- 2:45Speaker 1: don't need to do it, but they decided to do
- 2:47Speaker 1: it just to lower the price. The leader of Iran,
- 2:51Speaker 1: the new one, the Iatola's Sun. Normally, if somebody you're
- 2:58Speaker 1: the new leader of the country, you've just been voted
- 3:00Speaker 1: the leader of the country, you'd be so thrilled, you'd
- 3:03Speaker 1: be so this has got to be the worst thing
- 3:05Speaker 1: had ever happened to anybody, because you know, you've probably
- 3:07Speaker 1: got two weeks to live now. He was not there
- 3:11Speaker 1: for his induction ceremony, his installation ceremony two days ago.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Many many people showed up for it except him. He
- 3:18Speaker 1: wasn't there, and word is that he's in very bad ship.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Word is he still in a coma, and he had
- 3:26Speaker 1: his leg blown off in one of those original strikes.
- 3:30Speaker 1: His leg has gone amputated. He's still in a coma.
- 3:33Speaker 1: He's got terrible facial lacerations, so you won't see him
- 3:39Speaker 1: for a while. And he did put out a statement,
- 3:41Speaker 1: but it's kind of like a Joe Biden's statement. You
- 3:43Speaker 1: don't know who actually put it out. You know, Biden
- 3:45Speaker 1: couldn't have put it out, but somebody wrote it up
- 3:47Speaker 1: and used the auto pen. So this is the same
- 3:50Speaker 1: kind of deal. Now, what do we have to worry about, Well,
- 3:55Speaker 1: there's a couple of threats on the horizon besides the
- 3:58Speaker 1: Straits of Hormuse. And by the way, the Iranians have
- 4:01Speaker 1: expanded that bombing and into the Persian Gulf, so there's
- 4:06Speaker 1: striking ships wherever they can. But again that'll be mopped
- 4:10Speaker 1: up and cleaned up in a week or so. But
- 4:12Speaker 1: the things they're worried about right now cyber attacks here
- 4:17Speaker 1: in this country. Cyber attacks. The worst thing they could
- 4:20Speaker 1: target be our banking system, electrical grid. This is something
- 4:26Speaker 1: scary thought, but we faced this before. They've tried this before,
- 4:30Speaker 1: so we know a little more about how to block it.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Sleeper cells that could be in this country, terrors, sleeper
- 4:35Speaker 1: cells that could be activated. That's a problem. You've had
- 4:40Speaker 1: this wide open border for the last four years, millions
- 4:43Speaker 1: poured across, and that's where the sleeper cells would come through,
- 4:46Speaker 1: that wide open border. The big threat that they're getting
- 4:49Speaker 1: through intelligence. This doesn't mean it's real, but intelligence sources
- 4:54Speaker 1: are reporting it. The threat is that there'll be drone
- 4:56Speaker 1: strikes on California. This will come from ships, boats off shore.
- 5:03Speaker 1: The drones would be launched from there. These are unmanned
- 5:07Speaker 1: drones and they can be controlled from thousands of miles away.
- 5:11Speaker 1: The ships, the boats, they're not ships, they're just boats.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Can be controlled from miles away. They're not even manned.
- 5:18Speaker 1: They can be controlled from millions of miles away. So
- 5:21Speaker 1: they're very worried about that drone attacks on California. So
- 5:26Speaker 1: FBI everybody looking for any sign of anything like that.
- 5:30Speaker 1: The President keeps getting attacked. That is mixed messaging, you know,
- 5:34Speaker 1: it makes all these different statements. He's always speaking to
- 5:37Speaker 1: the press wherever he is, and some of the messaging
- 5:40Speaker 1: on Iran is it's contradictory. That's the big complaint. Well,
- 5:45Speaker 1: that's actually good mixed messaging contradictory, not clear, that's good
- 5:49Speaker 1: for the enemy. You don't want to be clear. You
- 5:51Speaker 1: don't want to come on television publicly to say here's
- 5:54Speaker 1: exactly what we're going to do. Here's exactly when we're
- 5:59Speaker 1: going to pull out. You never want them enemy to
- 6:00Speaker 1: know that. So the mixed messaging might annoy the media,
- 6:04Speaker 1: but it's great as far as handling the enemy. The
- 6:08Speaker 1: other attack, well, you know, he hasn't clearly explained why
- 6:11Speaker 1: we're there. He hasn't explained if you need this, explain
- 6:14Speaker 1: to you something really wrong with you. I mean, you
- 6:17Speaker 1: tell you're taking out the most evil, brutal, awful leader
- 6:21Speaker 1: in the world. You're taking out the biggest sponsor of
- 6:23Speaker 1: terrorism in the world. If you need to explain to
- 6:26Speaker 1: you why you would do that, I think you need
- 6:29Speaker 1: a lot of help there. So we'll keep you up
- 6:32Speaker 1: on Iran. It's day day twelve today, or is it
- 6:37Speaker 1: day thirteen today, something like that, Chuck Schumer. Of course,
- 6:41Speaker 1: Blumenthal referring it to it as an endless war, Well,
- 6:45Speaker 1: I don't know. When you're under two weeks, that's really
- 6:47Speaker 1: not an endless war. Hey, that does save Act. It's
- 6:52Speaker 1: very important for the mid terms. The Save Act would
- 6:55Speaker 1: make it change everything in the election. So federal law
- 6:59Speaker 1: that would it required that everybody has to show ID,
- 7:03Speaker 1: IM prove they're an American citizen. It's pretty easy nowadays
- 7:07Speaker 1: to prove that. Most people now have an enhanced driver's
- 7:11Speaker 1: license that real ID. You just prove you're a citizen.
- 7:15Speaker 1: You show the documents, you prove you're a citizen. You
- 7:17Speaker 1: vote the way it's been as anybody can vote. We've
- 7:20Speaker 1: seen lots of examples of people who weren't citizens who
- 7:24Speaker 1: were caught voting. So the Save Act would require it.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Some states do require ID. Many states require ID, but
- 7:31Speaker 1: I think about thirty eight states require ID. I got
- 7:34Speaker 1: to prove your citizen. But then there's some Blue states
- 7:37Speaker 1: that if you're breathing close enough you can will let
- 7:41Speaker 1: you vote. And they want to make it a federal
- 7:44Speaker 1: requirement that every state has to have only American citizens voting.
- 7:49Speaker 1: And the Senator John Thunne and the Senate has made
- 7:53Speaker 1: a mess of this, screwed up the whole thing. There's
- 7:56Speaker 1: going to be a vote doesn't look like it'll succeed. Schumer.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Everybody was a little surprised actually said the quiet part
- 8:03Speaker 1: out loud. Why would Democrats oppose this? They come up
- 8:07Speaker 1: with these weird explanations. One was that, well, minority voters
- 8:12Speaker 1: they can't get ID Huh, they're too stupid. They don't
- 8:17Speaker 1: know how to get an ID. They're incapable of finding
- 8:19Speaker 1: out how to get an idea or drivers, which is
- 8:22Speaker 1: absolutely ridiculous, not to mention one of the most racist
- 8:25Speaker 1: things you could say. Then they tried this divorced women
- 8:29Speaker 1: won't be able to vote, something to do with their
- 8:30Speaker 1: maiden name, this name, which makes no sense at absolutely
- 8:35Speaker 1: no sense at all. The real reason is if you're illegal,
- 8:39Speaker 1: you're not going to be able to vote anywhere. But Schumer,
- 8:42Speaker 1: in one of those rants he's got the every year
- 8:45Speaker 1: the glasses get bigger, and I said this really really
- 8:47Speaker 1: big glasses on actually said the quiet part out loud.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Yes, but their bill isn't voter ID number one. It
- 8:55Speaker 2: is about voter registration. It makes it. It allows ICE
- 9:01Speaker 2: to kick tens of millions of people off the rolls,
- 9:06Speaker 2: off the rolls, and they don't tell them until election day,
- 9:09Speaker 2: and you show them and you say you're not registered anymore.
- 9:12Speaker 2: You're not registered here, you're not on the rolls.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Yeah, well, if Ice kicked them off the rolls because
- 9:18Speaker 1: they're not an American citizen. And Schumer says it's tens
- 9:22Speaker 1: of millions, it's sometimes Democrats like, wow, the voter fraud
- 9:26Speaker 1: is very, very minor, it's very small. Well, if he's
- 9:29Speaker 1: saying it's tens of millions, it's not so small. So well,
- 9:35Speaker 1: we'll see tomorrow's day. It's not going to go well
- 9:37Speaker 1: tomorrow for that vote. Hey, the Epstein stuff, boy, there's
- 9:42Speaker 1: a lot more fallout with Epstein, more and more and more.
- 9:47Speaker 1: As you just heard them the news. Steve Tish was
- 9:51Speaker 1: all over the Epstein files talking to Epstein about women,
- 9:54Speaker 1: about this woman, that woman, this girl, that girl. Is
- 9:58Speaker 1: she a pro? Is she not? It's pretty seedy kind
- 10:01Speaker 1: of conversation he was having with Epstein. So it's now
- 10:05Speaker 1: been agreed that Steve Tish will transfer his ownership of
- 10:10Speaker 1: the Giants. He's got something like twenty percent of the team,
- 10:14Speaker 1: twenty five percent of the team. He will transfer it
- 10:17Speaker 1: actually to him and his sister Laurie, brother Jonathan. They
- 10:20Speaker 1: will transfer it to the next generation, to their kids. Actually,
- 10:26Speaker 1: they had forty five percent ownership share. They'll put it
- 10:28Speaker 1: into a trust and the kids will now own the trust,
- 10:33Speaker 1: and the trust will have no voting or control. They'll
- 10:37Speaker 1: just have some ownership, but no control or voting or
- 10:40Speaker 1: say in the running of the Giants. One reason they're
- 10:42Speaker 1: doing this now is there's going to be the NFL
- 10:46Speaker 1: owner's Spring meeting later this month, and they thought that
- 10:50Speaker 1: maybe the owners would go nuts over this Steve Tish
- 10:52Speaker 1: Epstein connection. So to get ahead of that, Tish is
- 10:56Speaker 1: bowing out. He'll be out of the Giants. The Mara family,
- 11:00Speaker 1: John Merrow really runs at They're great people, so everything's
- 11:04Speaker 1: good with the Giants. So he's gone. As a result,
- 11:08Speaker 1: you got people all over the country, got Larry Summers
- 11:10Speaker 1: having to leave Harvard. Casey Washerman is one of the
- 11:13Speaker 1: biggest major figures in Hollywood, having a step down from
- 11:17Speaker 1: the company he founded, having a step down as the
- 11:20Speaker 1: Olympic chairman for Los Angeles. Now here's a guy who
- 11:24Speaker 1: he's okay. Here. I think Jeffrey Epstein wanted to do
- 11:29Speaker 1: damage control twenty fourteen. This was after the first time
- 11:35Speaker 1: he got convicted for this disgusting stuff. But in twenty
- 11:39Speaker 1: fourteen that Virginia, Jeffrey was doing that civil lawsuit where
- 11:45Speaker 1: she was accusing of all kinds of stuff. Remember, there
- 11:47Speaker 1: was tremendous, awful bad news coverage of this, so he
- 11:53Speaker 1: wanted to do some damage control. So Epstein talked to
- 11:58Speaker 1: Larry Summers, a big part of the Clinton administration, former
- 12:02Speaker 1: Harvard president, all of that, and Larry Summer said, you
- 12:05Speaker 1: ought to hire Joe Lockhart, the ex Press secretary. He'll
- 12:09Speaker 1: help you with damage control pr public image. So epstein'
- 12:14Speaker 1: said all right, set it up, and Summers put the
- 12:17Speaker 1: two of them together. So Lockhart looked like, ooh, we
- 12:20Speaker 1: may have an Epstein problem, but if you study the
- 12:23Speaker 1: stuff here, it's pretty clear. Lockhart was not interested, declined.
- 12:27Speaker 1: The offer. Never worked for Epstein, so he cleared himself.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Now the other people having some problem problems. There's some
- 12:37Speaker 1: very very big doctors and medical people all over New
- 12:40Speaker 1: York City. You know, you got your regular doctors, then
- 12:43Speaker 1: you got your concierge doctors give you a lot more
- 12:47Speaker 1: service than you get your real high end concierge doctors.
- 12:50Speaker 1: And these guys, you know, you got their cell number.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Anytime you need them twenty four to seven, you can
- 12:56Speaker 1: call them. They'll get you right into any hospital. They'll
- 12:59Speaker 1: make house calls, do whatever you need. So there were
- 13:02Speaker 1: a few of them that Epstein got a hold of
- 13:05Speaker 1: it and started paying a fortune to tens of thousands
- 13:09Speaker 1: of dollars for every little thing. So there were a
- 13:11Speaker 1: couple that Epstein had taken care of him, taking care
- 13:14Speaker 1: of the girls and taking care of them, all kinds
- 13:17Speaker 1: of stuff. Yes, sexually transmitted diseases with one of them,
- 13:22Speaker 1: but sometimes they'd come in with bruises and they were
- 13:25Speaker 1: bashed up. And some of these doctors, Epstein wanted them
- 13:29Speaker 1: to be anonymous. In other words, if you have an
- 13:32Speaker 1: account with the concierge doctor, you have to list everybody
- 13:35Speaker 1: that's going to be treated. Well, some of them were
- 13:37Speaker 1: just listed anonymously, and apparently that's unethical. You're not supposed
- 13:40Speaker 1: to do that if you're a doctor. So some of
- 13:43Speaker 1: those guys have a problem. It goes beyond the doctors
- 13:46Speaker 1: he was. I won't mention any hospitals, but he was
- 13:49Speaker 1: making deals with hospitals so we could use their emergency room.
- 13:53Speaker 1: And even more than that. You can go in the
- 13:56Speaker 1: New York Times and read these articles. They've had a
- 13:58Speaker 1: lot of coverage of it this past week. But with
- 14:00Speaker 1: some of these hospitals they would send a team over
- 14:04Speaker 1: to his house to treat the women. Here's the one
- 14:06Speaker 1: woman here who seemed to have her skull bashed a
- 14:10Speaker 1: little and required a lot of stitches, so you see
- 14:13Speaker 1: a picture of they laid her out on the dining
- 14:15Speaker 1: room table. The team from the hospital came over to
- 14:18Speaker 1: Epstein's house and stitched her up right there on the
- 14:22Speaker 1: dining room table. There's other situations where a girl got
- 14:29Speaker 1: hurt in Epstein's depraved whatever he was doing, and the
- 14:33Speaker 1: doctors were asked to take her to another place, like
- 14:36Speaker 1: to New Jersey or somewhere so there'd be no Epstein connection,
- 14:39Speaker 1: and take her into a hospital under another name. So
- 14:43Speaker 1: a lot of these people getting caught in all this stuff.
- 14:45Speaker 1: There's more and more evidence. Now, you know, disgusting enough
- 14:48Speaker 1: these young girls, but there's more and more evidence that
- 14:51Speaker 1: whatever weird sexual things were going on, people were getting injured.
- 14:55Speaker 1: So some of these girls shown up bruised, bleeding, that
- 14:59Speaker 1: sort of really bad stuff. And as we told you yesterday,
- 15:02Speaker 1: Epstein had this magnificent ranch in New Mexico, and there
- 15:08Speaker 1: are now nothing is confirmed, but they're now sources of
- 15:11Speaker 1: saying some people died. Some girls might have died in
- 15:15Speaker 1: some rough sex and they're buried on the ranch. So
- 15:17Speaker 1: officials are now actually seriously looking at digging up the
- 15:21Speaker 1: grounds of that ranch looking for that that's developing story.
- 15:26Speaker 1: But again nothing is confirmed yet, nothing is confirmed. Anyway,
- 15:30Speaker 1: We've got a lot to get to today. We'll take
- 15:32Speaker 1: some calls. Next eight hundred three to two one zero
- 15:36Speaker 1: seven ten is the number. Hey, we're having that big
- 15:39Speaker 1: networking event. It's next week. Oh, actually it's a week
- 15:42Speaker 1: from tonight, a week from tonight, March nineteenth, six to
- 15:45Speaker 1: eight pm. A lot of CEOs, a lot of business leaders,
- 15:49Speaker 1: and it's a good chance to meet a lot of people,
- 15:51Speaker 1: decision makers, mingle network. I'll be there, Larry Mentil will
- 15:55Speaker 1: be there courteously. W will be there saying a few words.
- 15:58Speaker 1: It'll be pretty good. And it's there's a new office building.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I mean it's a older bilding, but it's just reopen redone.
- 16:04Speaker 1: It's beautiful. It's two Park Avenue, two Park Avenues around
- 16:08Speaker 1: thirty fourth Street, and if you're looking to do a
- 16:11Speaker 1: corporate event, there's a beautiful venue on the top floor
