- 0:28Good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:30So you've heard me talk a lot about the fact that I would get
- 0:35in trouble. As a child saying, I was always
- 0:38the one talking in class. I was always the one that had to
- 0:40face the wall. I always had lots of things to
- 0:43say and I have spent a good deal of my life, especially in the
- 0:47profession. I'm in talking and teaching and
- 0:50doing all these things, but there is an advantage to not
- 0:55speaking. Believe it or not, there's a
- 0:58huge advantage to not speaking. There's a huge Managed to
- 1:01working energy, and there's a huge advantage to learning to
- 1:03work energy. And one of the interesting
- 1:06things that I did at some point years ago was to do a silent
- 1:11meditation for three days. And let me tell you, it was one
- 1:13of the most difficult things that I ever did, where you were
- 1:16supposed to go. And you're going to be in a
- 1:17space and you're not going to make eye contact and you're just
- 1:21going to do your chores and you're going to meditate and
- 1:24you'll listen to the teachings, but you do not have the ability
- 1:28to speak and you. Frowned upon for making eye
- 1:31contact. It was probably the hardest
- 1:35thing I have ever done. I have fire walked, I have pole
- 1:38jumped. I have Bridge climbed.
- 1:40I have done all kinds of physical stretches and I will
- 1:43tell you hands down, that was probably the hardest thing I
- 1:45ever did. Because for me, talking is just
- 1:48a part of my wiring. And it really had me in a place
- 1:55where I had to rely on other skills, energy being a biggest
- 1:59one of it. And having Ability to like
- 2:02manage your energy and show your energy in a certain way.
- 2:06So fast forward, when you sometimes are trying to get
- 2:12through your daily life and you're using words all the time.
- 2:15And we know you've heard me say before how we just all have
- 2:18different meanings for different words even though we can
- 2:20generally agree on things. We all have different meanings
- 2:23about them. And there are times when using
- 2:27words does not work when you're In Conflict, when you're trying
- 2:32to heal, sometimes your energy is a much better way to go to
- 2:36pause. Pull back and say you know what
- 2:38talking about this is not the right thing.
- 2:40Let's just try to regroup. Let's just try to use our
- 2:43energy. Let's try to have kindness.
- 2:46Let's have acts of kindness. Let's do things that our energy
- 2:50based as opposed to verbally because talking about things,
- 2:54sometimes just causes more confusion because we have a
- 2:57tendency to want to prove our point and sometimes Proving our
- 3:01point is never going to work because the other person is
- 3:04going to stick to their point. And before, you know it we're
- 3:06all in a state of, you know, arguing our positions and
- 3:10holding our positions but it's not helping us heal or move
- 3:14forward. So Learning to not use words is
- 3:19a process, it is hard. It is something that takes
- 3:22effort, you have to think about how to be instead of how to
- 3:27verbalize it. You have to think about what
- 3:29energy you want to put off in the world.
- 3:31You have to think about how you want to show up.
- 3:33You have to think about that feeling that emotion that you
- 3:37want to emanate from your body. When you are with somebody, that
- 3:41you are trying to heal and a bigger piece of this, in your
- 3:45silence in doing this, This is managing your mind chatter at
- 3:49the same time, you're not thinking horrible thoughts about
- 3:51that person because it's very easy to stand there and be angry
- 3:54with someone and look at them and not say to them, God, you
- 3:57piss me off, but you can think to yourself, God, you piss me
- 4:00off. And that's not healthy.
- 4:03I don't need to tell you that. That's not healthy.
- 4:06So, this process of grinding through it and saying, I have to
- 4:11find a way to effectively do, this is not easy, but guess, It
- 4:17is it is highly effective when you do it and it heals
- 4:22situations very quickly. So I'm going to say the most
- 4:26important thing that you can do for yourself is to practice
- 4:28this. And even if you're not in a
- 4:31situation where you need to heal up with somebody, it's good to
- 4:34just practice using your physical energy, and your
- 4:37thought behind the scenes as opposed to just using your
- 4:40verbal energy and trying to get what you want.
- 4:43Because the truth is. Words are seven percent of
- 4:46communication. Tatian, that's it 7%.
- 4:49Everything else comes in with how you say it and and, and the
- 4:54structure in which you are saying things.
- 4:56So, please keep that in mind. I mean, your, your intention and
- 5:03your energy that you're putting to something is what's really
- 5:06going to influence someone. So, refrain from using the
- 5:09words, you use your energy put something good behind it and
- 5:13show yourself that you actually do have 100%.
- 5:17And control over yourself. Even though you don't think you
- 5:19do you do I promise you just have to work at it.
- 5:23And is it easy? No, it's not easy.
- 5:26It's hard. It's actually hard work.
- 5:28It's a simple process, but it's really hard and the more you
- 5:31practice it. The better you get at it.
- 5:33So, practice some silence behind the scenes, shifting and see
- 5:37what happens. All right, my friends.
- 5:39I hope you have a blessed day and I'll see you tomorrow.
- 5:41Bye.
