- 0:00Speaker 1: Man, you like basketball, that's maybe the best basketball game
- 0:04Speaker 1: ever played. Given the stakes. Last night.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Was wild wild indeed. I thought it was over.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Yeah, everyone in the world did. Looked up in the
- 0:13Speaker 1: first half. It was at the gym and they were
- 0:15Speaker 1: down twenty nine. I said, well, won't watch much more
- 0:18Speaker 1: of that. We're gonna talk tons more about that. There's
- 0:20Speaker 1: lots to talk about in the sports. I was waiting
- 0:22Speaker 1: for Heavy D to say the New York Knicks is
- 0:24Speaker 1: definitely flex and that's why I paused during the headlines.
- 0:27Speaker 1: You know Patrick Mahomes remember him. He got the NFL's
- 0:32Speaker 1: first half billion dollar contract yesterday. The Chiefs signed him
- 0:36Speaker 1: through twenty thirty three, five hundred and four point seventy five.
- 0:40Speaker 1: If you're counting the point seventy five million dollars, I
- 0:43Speaker 1: guess that reconstructed knees. Okay, Chris, so much.
- 0:47Speaker 2: For that, huh yeah.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Stanley Cup Finals Game five is tonight in Raleigh. The
- 0:52Speaker 1: series is tied at two each between the Hurricanes and
- 0:54Speaker 1: the Golden Knights. Five pm puck drop right here on
- 0:56Speaker 1: ninety three point three kJ RFM. It's not a best
- 0:59Speaker 1: of three for the Stanley Cup. Track Man NCA Track
- 1:04Speaker 1: Championships Jacobe Tharp Last night from Auburn University. Chris ran
- 1:09Speaker 1: the one hundred and ten meters hurdles in twelve points
- 1:11Speaker 1: seventy five seconds. That's a new world record twelve seven
- 1:16Speaker 1: five and the one ten hurdles. What do you think
- 1:17Speaker 1: of that? Yeah?
- 1:18Speaker 2: I saw the race and I couldn't believe what I
- 1:21Speaker 2: was saying.
- 1:21Speaker 1: He was.
- 1:22Speaker 2: It didn't look like he was running. It looked like
- 1:24Speaker 2: he was just a blur. It did make sense, he
- 1:28Speaker 2: was a blur. Everyone else was sprinting and he was
- 1:30Speaker 2: doing something else. I don't know what other word described
- 1:33Speaker 2: sprinting and how excellent he did it, and it was
- 1:36Speaker 2: just phenomenal, and he just looked like it was nothing.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I feel like that was fra That was a preliminary race.
- 1:43Speaker 2: It's not even yeah, it's like, hey, dude, you could
- 1:45Speaker 2: have saved that for I don't know, the finals, Like
- 1:46Speaker 2: now you gotta repeat that. Good luck? But he is
- 1:49Speaker 2: that was an incredible race. I'm sure they drug tested
- 1:52Speaker 2: the hell out of him since he got back to
- 1:54Speaker 2: his hotel. Hey man, go ahead and pee in this cup?
- 1:56Speaker 2: Well why don't you?
- 1:57Speaker 1: Yeah, he's probably dehydrated. The pinc World Cup begins today
- 2:02Speaker 1: one o'clock. Mexico host in South Africa and it's famed
- 2:07Speaker 1: Stadiosteca in Mexico City. First group stage here in Seattle
- 2:12Speaker 1: is Monday Belgium against Mossava in Egypt. Belgium's training at
- 2:16Speaker 1: the Sounders facility this morning as we speak in fact,
- 2:19Speaker 1: especially ninety two degrees here in Seattle on Monday afternoon.
- 2:23Speaker 1: FIFA is listing the capacity for Lumenfield for the World
- 2:26Speaker 1: Cup at sixty six five. It's a few hundred shy
- 2:29Speaker 1: of the capacity for Seahawks games. Do you hear about
- 2:32Speaker 1: the floating barge, Chris, It's and Elliott Bay off Peer
- 2:35Speaker 1: sixty two for the World Cup?
- 2:37Speaker 2: I didn't, but what you got?
- 2:38Speaker 3: So?
- 2:38Speaker 1: They have a barge that floated down from Everett. They
- 2:42Speaker 1: parked it off of Peer sixty two and it's a
- 2:45Speaker 1: party barge. It's got a miniature soccer field turf field
- 2:51Speaker 1: that you can kick the ball around on. It's got
- 2:52Speaker 1: giant screen, TV's apparently got food, I assumed drink. It's
- 2:57Speaker 1: free today from one pm to nine, eleven am to nine.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Actually you can go out there right off Peer sixty
- 3:04Speaker 1: two you watch the Mexico South Africa match that's kicking
- 3:07Speaker 1: off the tournament. But it's a really unique setup that
- 3:11Speaker 1: the Sounders in the Rain help put on. There's four
- 3:15Speaker 1: or five different spots around the city of Seattle that
- 3:17Speaker 1: are having watch parties and festivals for the World Cup,
- 3:21Speaker 1: including the Armory in Seattle Center. But the most unique
- 3:25Speaker 1: one is this barge is floating out on Elliott Bay.
- 3:27Speaker 1: My daughter just back from Peru from her little ensign
- 3:31Speaker 1: leave graduation leave from the Coast Guard Academy. She's going
- 3:34Speaker 1: to check it out today with her guy on the
- 3:37Speaker 1: floating barge off Pier sixty two. I might have to
- 3:39Speaker 1: go check that out before the game on Monday, the
- 3:42Speaker 1: first match on Monday, we're gonna be live from Jimmy's
- 3:45Speaker 1: on First right across the street from Lumenfield. They're calling
- 3:48Speaker 1: it Seattle Stadium now for the World Cup because you
- 3:51Speaker 1: can't public have any non licensed FIFA non FIFA licensed
- 3:56Speaker 1: advertising on any venues or anything. But we'll be there
- 4:00Speaker 1: every match day, including the United States's match against Australia
- 4:05Speaker 1: on Friday, the nineteenth of June, a week from tomorrow
- 4:08Speaker 1: at noon a kickoff at Loomanfield. That's Juneteenth Day, So
- 4:12Speaker 1: a lot of people off work, which has helped keeping
- 4:15Speaker 1: the ticket prices high. I still see one thousand dollars
- 4:17Speaker 1: or eleven hundred dollars on the online secondary sites to
- 4:20Speaker 1: get in to get in price for US and Australia
- 4:23Speaker 1: ten forty five. We're gonna talk to our guy, Jackson Feltz,
- 4:25Speaker 1: one of our two resident soccer experts, about the World Cup,
- 4:29Speaker 1: about who, what he's predicting, and what to look for
- 4:33Speaker 1: beginning starting today, two matches today. The co host Mexico
- 4:38Speaker 1: is hosting South Africa in about three hours. Also on
- 4:42Speaker 1: the show today, I'll tell you what I've seen and
- 4:44Speaker 1: gleaned so far from Seahawks Mini camp. Day three, the
- 4:47Speaker 1: final day of the off season work is today. I
- 4:50Speaker 1: mentioned super Bowl rings tonight. There's a buzz in this building, Chris.
- 4:53Speaker 1: It's a little different than most days because, let's face it,
- 4:57Speaker 1: there are many days in NFL employees, players and coaches
- 5:01Speaker 1: lives that they get Super Bowl rings and they're getting
- 5:03Speaker 1: in a night. Oh yeah.
- 5:07Speaker 2: It's just this is a team that won a Super
- 5:09Speaker 2: Bowl and they are acting as if they didn't do anything,
- 5:13Speaker 2: and it's that's really cool to see because it's very
- 5:16Speaker 2: it's very tough to repeat, but the way the Seahawks
- 5:19Speaker 2: are doing it, it really is just different. I'm sure
- 5:22Speaker 2: you can look at the Patriots and what they did
- 5:24Speaker 2: and how they came into the offseason, but having it
- 5:27Speaker 2: in your backyard, it just feels a lot different. And
- 5:31Speaker 2: Mike McDonald is the key to all of it. And yeah,
- 5:35Speaker 2: I'm sure you are filling something in the building because
- 5:37Speaker 2: it is different and it's unique. It's not what you
- 5:40Speaker 2: see every season in the NFL, especially if a team
- 5:43Speaker 2: that just won a championship and everybody's buying in, including
- 5:46Speaker 2: the young players that are have only been here what
- 5:49Speaker 2: a few months. So this is going to be another
- 5:52Speaker 2: fun training camp as they have their last mini camp
- 5:55Speaker 2: today and it'll be I think it'll be a fun
- 5:59Speaker 2: preseason camp before they get to the real deal.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Tonight is really Jody Allen's last gift to the Seahawks,
- 6:07Speaker 1: the team chair before she and her brother's trust sells
- 6:10Speaker 1: the team, and she helped design and pick out the rings,
- 6:14Speaker 1: and Mike McDonald said he's seen a version of it already.
- 6:17Speaker 1: You'll hear Mike McDonald's comments about the Super Bowl rings,
- 6:20Speaker 1: the ceremony, and Jody Allen and her efforts toward the
- 6:25Speaker 1: Seahawks Super Bowl rings. You'll hear from him today as well.
- 6:29Speaker 1: You're gonna hear what mac McDonald said about Zach Sharbonay
- 6:32Speaker 1: and Kenny McIntosh, plus receiver Torry Horton. I wrote my
- 6:36Speaker 1: story this morning in the News Tribune at Thenewstrimune dot
- 6:38Speaker 1: com that it was one positive assessment of one of
- 6:44Speaker 1: those players, one meh and one whoa wow. You'll hear
- 6:49Speaker 1: the breakdown of what the Seahawks are projecting for training
- 6:52Speaker 1: camp for those three coming up eleven o'clock. You hear
- 6:56Speaker 1: from Perry Sukey's from WPIX Television in Manhattan where it
- 7:00Speaker 1: just must be off the hook this morning after what
- 7:02Speaker 1: happened last night and the greatest comeback in NBA Finals
- 7:06Speaker 1: history eleven thirty year textan to Koma Doadge text nine
- 7:10Speaker 1: fort nine four or five. One first thing I'm gonna
- 7:13Speaker 1: ask right off the top of the text line, what
- 7:16Speaker 1: have you seen in sports that talking comebacks wins in
- 7:20Speaker 1: a championship setting? What have you seen that, rivals? What
- 7:22Speaker 1: you saw last night when the Knicks came back to
- 7:25Speaker 1: beat the Spurs from twenty nine down and the tip
- 7:27Speaker 1: in by og Abino, he was that tip in was
- 7:31Speaker 1: ridiculously athletic. Chris, that the skill athleticism it takes to
- 7:36Speaker 1: tip a shot in like that, I mean, that's elite. Well,
- 7:40Speaker 1: you've talked often, especially about how we lead athletes are
- 7:43Speaker 1: in the NBA. That was an athletic feat last night
- 7:46Speaker 1: for that putback.
- 7:47Speaker 2: You know, just to throw a little nod back at
- 7:50Speaker 2: the Seahawks. Doesn't that remind you of a certain tip?
- 7:53Speaker 2: Obviously a little different, But when I saw that, all
- 7:56Speaker 2: I could think of was Richard Sherman's tip surrounded by
- 7:59Speaker 2: a receiver. I make a play and he's able to
- 8:01Speaker 2: tip it and Earle comes out of note or No,
- 8:03Speaker 2: it wasn't Earl was it? Who was it?
- 8:05Speaker 1: It was tipped to Malcolm? I think you're right, Yeah,
- 8:08Speaker 1: one of the linebackers, Malcolm Smith Smith. Yes, the MVP,
- 8:12Speaker 1: by the way, the super Bowl, super Bowl. But that's
- 8:15Speaker 1: what that's this, that's the flashback. But yeah, just an
- 8:17Speaker 1: incredible play. I thought that Mike Brown drew it up
- 8:21Speaker 1: to have him cut to the basket, maybe as a
- 8:23Speaker 1: potential layup. Obviously, Jalen took an incredibly tough shot and
- 8:28Speaker 1: Og goes in there.
- 8:30Speaker 2: No one touches him. And to just off the fingertips
- 8:33Speaker 2: get a nice tip. That was That was a great play,
- 8:37Speaker 2: and he's down.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Let's break down that play, Chris Oh. Let's break down
- 8:40Speaker 1: because here's how it all happened. The Spurs are winning
- 8:43Speaker 1: one O six, one O five. There's sixteen seconds left.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Jalen Brunson for the Knicks missed a wild floater in
- 8:49Speaker 1: the lane over Victor Women. Yama Women Yall came out
- 8:52Speaker 1: and forcing trying to block it. Bald deflex off the backboard.
- 8:56Speaker 1: It was such a wild shot. Scramble loose ball scramble
- 8:59Speaker 1: gets tipped all the way across the mid court line
- 9:02Speaker 1: and then de Aaron Fox. We've talked a lot about
- 9:04Speaker 1: the supporting castle the Spurs getting them here. Daron Fox
- 9:08Speaker 1: gets that loose ball at the opposite free throw line
- 9:11Speaker 1: and he's got Og Adam Andodi. He's right next to him.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Adamobi is pretty close to chest defending him. Soon after
- 9:21Speaker 1: Fox got the ball, yet Fox challenged Ogi at the rim.
- 9:25Speaker 1: There's twelve seconds left and the Spurs are up one.
- 9:28Speaker 1: It's easy to say in hindsight and in the moment
- 9:31Speaker 1: it's Fox is thinking, let me go clinch the game here,
- 9:33Speaker 1: But even if he makes that layup, the Spurs are
- 9:35Speaker 1: only up three. If he holds the ball, they have
- 9:38Speaker 1: to foul. He's got a chance for free throws. The
- 9:41Speaker 1: game calms down and settles, probably ten seconds or so wet,
- 9:45Speaker 1: but no, Fox goes straight to the rim og blocks
- 9:49Speaker 1: the shot. That's how set up the final sequence. So
- 9:53Speaker 1: instead of Adamobe having a foul and the Spurs may
- 9:56Speaker 1: be leading by three points with ten seconds left, the
- 9:59Speaker 1: Knicks have the ball still down one. So here comes
- 10:03Speaker 1: Jalen Brunson. Everyone in the building, everyone in the sports
- 10:06Speaker 1: world knows Brunston's gonna take this shot right thirty six points.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Up to that point, wem Be and Yama, who by
- 10:12Speaker 1: the way, had twenty five points nine of twenty five shooting,
- 10:14Speaker 1: mixed two free throws with one forty seven left in
- 10:17Speaker 1: the Spurs up one. That was a key sequence as well.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Late wemen Yama comes out to challenge Brunch and shot.
- 10:24Speaker 1: That shot was from thirty feet plus. Chris, I mean,
- 10:27Speaker 1: I get it. If you're Mitch Johnson in the Spurs,
- 10:30Speaker 1: you want your best, most athletic and longest defender women
- 10:33Speaker 1: Yama on their best player, Jalen Brunson, with the game
- 10:37Speaker 1: three of the game four and maybe your season on
- 10:40Speaker 1: the line. I get it, and I get why women
- 10:42Speaker 1: Yama jumps out there, but of course what happens if
- 10:45Speaker 1: he misses.
- 10:46Speaker 2: That's what happens because.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Women Yama's thirty feet from the basket. You mentioned Chris
- 10:52Speaker 1: what og Adamnomi? He came from the left sideline. He was.
- 10:59Speaker 1: He was like thirty five feet from the basket. When
- 11:02Speaker 1: Brunson shot that ball. He cuts from the left sideline
- 11:06Speaker 1: to the middle of the floor uninhibited, and nobody picks
- 11:11Speaker 1: him up down the middle of the lane as the
- 11:13Speaker 1: ball's in the air, so he has a clear path
- 11:16Speaker 1: to a putback. Now again, it's an unbelievable athletic feet
- 11:20Speaker 1: to do it, actually do it. But the Spurs ignored
- 11:23Speaker 1: him because he was on the left sideline. If you
- 11:25Speaker 1: go look at the replay again, he's sitting with Tina
- 11:28Speaker 1: Fay and stuff when that shot was going up, and
- 11:31Speaker 1: nobody's gonna box him out there, So of course he's
- 11:34Speaker 1: got a free path to the lane. He goes straight
- 11:36Speaker 1: to the rim. His athleticism takes over. I don't know
- 11:42Speaker 1: he's shot. I mean, he's an instant legend in New
- 11:44Speaker 1: York City. He'll never have to buy anything ever again.
- 11:47Speaker 1: In that city. They will replay that forever, like Derek
- 11:50Speaker 1: Jeter highlights or David Tyree's catch, or I mean he
- 11:54Speaker 1: is an Nobody becomes a star as quickly in a
- 11:59Speaker 1: city is in New York City, or a goat for
- 12:01Speaker 1: that matter. And yeah, I mean this is what that
- 12:05Speaker 1: place sounded like on first on Knicks Radio and on
- 12:08Speaker 1: Spurs Radio with our friend Dan Wise.
- 12:14Speaker 4: All it takes is a two to make history in
- 12:19Speaker 4: New York City. Five point seven left, no timeouts remaining.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Anonobe is handed.
- 12:24Speaker 1: The ball.
- 12:26Speaker 4: Finds Brunton at big court launches a straight on three.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Mister George Tippiananobi, he put it in.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Ananobe put it in.
- 12:34Speaker 5: The next take the lead with one point two to go,
- 12:39Speaker 5: and it's not over awhere, Wow tive out.
- 12:46Speaker 4: San Antonio Konica is correct, it is not over at all.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Whoa but og Ananobi just complete. He inbounded the ball,
- 12:56Speaker 3: so he's loose. Nobody came to him, that's all. That's
- 13:00Speaker 3: a great play call. He steps in, he's looking like
- 13:05Speaker 3: he might have an opportunity to catch his shoot. On
- 13:07Speaker 3: a three, he would have been wide open, but the
- 13:08Speaker 3: heads up played to get right to the rim when
- 13:10Speaker 3: he sees number eleven going up for the jump shot.
- 13:13Speaker 6: The bridge is on the floor. Toun's on the floor
- 13:16Speaker 6: in a forest. Brunson no time out surmaning for the knicks,
- 13:22Speaker 6: so you gotta get it in five point seven to
- 13:24Speaker 6: play ananob inbound and Andobi looking looking get to the
- 13:29Speaker 6: Bronts at tiptoes.
- 13:30Speaker 1: The line shave sa pose up to three off the
- 13:33Speaker 1: front of the rim tipped up. It had the necks
- 13:36Speaker 1: hop taking the land with what point to second today? Oh?
- 13:40Speaker 7: J Na Broby with a follow up tip Sean, you
- 13:53Speaker 7: said he's played the game of his life here sight
- 13:56Speaker 7: and it may have just made the play of his
- 13:58Speaker 7: life right there.
- 13:59Speaker 1: He is sure.
- 14:00Speaker 8: I thought he was the X factor coming into this
- 14:02Speaker 8: series and he's untouched. You have two guys on the
- 14:06Speaker 8: ball out top with Jalen Brunton, so you have numbers
- 14:11Speaker 8: for the knicks on the offensive last and on a
- 14:14Speaker 8: nova goes right down the middle of the pace for
- 14:16Speaker 8: the tip.
- 14:19Speaker 7: Harper get the ball here from Ortney kirk Lett looking
- 14:24Speaker 7: booky spotting. Oh, he was looking for Castle Castle has it?
- 14:27Speaker 2: He grew it up and ain't get it off at
- 14:29Speaker 2: time and.
- 14:30Speaker 1: The next win. That was Dan Weiss on Spurs Radio
- 14:39Speaker 1: and yes they Spears didn't even get a shot off
- 14:41Speaker 1: at the end. Carl Anthony Towns, Chris, I think tip
- 14:44Speaker 1: that inbounds. He did ruin the whole play.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Yep, he definitely tipped it. So a cat coming up big.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Yeah, that's been your guy.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Yeah, that was huge. So that's wow. I didn't expect
- 14:56Speaker 2: the New Nicks to come back because I have been
- 14:59Speaker 2: giving two different ants on my Twitter. I thought the
- 15:01Speaker 2: Spurs are winning six when at E Sports Radio I said, oh,
- 15:04Speaker 2: Nicks can win this in six games, And I don't
- 15:07Speaker 2: know where to stand. I think the Nicks WI probably
- 15:09Speaker 2: ended in five because right now the Spurs are zero
- 15:11Speaker 2: to two at home.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Yeah, how did they come back from this? How does
- 15:15Speaker 1: Mitch Johnson Spurs O Day guys, Mitch Johnson Spurs come
- 15:18Speaker 1: back from this? Tomorrow We're going to talk to Mitch
- 15:20Speaker 1: Johnson's college coach.
- 15:21Speaker 2: We are hoping to anyway, hoping to trying to get
- 15:23Speaker 2: that squared away.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Trent Johnson from Stanford, the former Stanford coach of coach
- 15:28Speaker 1: Mitch Johnson after he left O Day before he became
- 15:31Speaker 1: the Spurs head coach, hoping to have him live on
- 15:33Speaker 1: at eleven o'clock tomorrow. Chris is working on that up.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Next from the Virginia Mason FA First of all, by
- 15:38Speaker 1: the way, on the text line Tocuma Dodge text line
- 15:40Speaker 1: four nine, four to five to one. What in sports
- 15:42Speaker 1: have you seen that? Rivals? The comeback and the finish
- 15:46Speaker 1: to the Nick Spurs last night and that's an all
- 15:47Speaker 1: time classic IP. Next, we're going to talk about the
- 15:50Speaker 1: latest from Seahawks coach Mike McDonald out here at the
- 15:53Speaker 1: Virginia Mason Netflix Center on the injury recoveries of Zach Charbonnay,
- 15:57Speaker 1: Kenny McIntosh, what about Tory Horton Plus, Next, the head
- 16:01Speaker 1: coach sends a very public message to a veteran basically
- 16:04Speaker 1: to get in shape if he wants to play. You

- 16:07Speaker 1: out about. That's next a ninety three point three KJRFM.

- 17:08Speaker 1: as we were coming on the show, announced that they
- 17:10Speaker 1: have hired Patrick Alvin, who is the former general manager
- 17:13Speaker 1: of the Vancouver Canucks, to their hockey operation staff. He
- 17:18Speaker 1: is the vice president and assistant general manager now to
- 17:20Speaker 1: Jason Bottrell. With the Kraken, Barrel and Alvin worked together
- 17:24Speaker 1: with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Alvin's won three Stanley Cups as
- 17:27Speaker 1: a staffer. They also announced that Pascal Vincent is a

- 17:34Speaker 1: years old. He's been a coach for twenty eight years,
- 17:36Speaker 1: coming out of the AHL in the Montreal affiliate Laval
- 17:40Speaker 1: and before that he's coached in eight NHL seasons as
- 17:43Speaker 1: an assistant, including the Winnipeg Jets. So two additions to
- 17:46Speaker 1: the Kraken staff here on your Home of the Kraken
- 17:50Speaker 1: ninety three point three kJ are the gentleman who usually
- 17:53Speaker 1: call cracking games, the great John Foreslan and the Great
- 17:56Speaker 1: Eddie Elchick. There are going to be in Raleigh, North
- 17:59Speaker 1: Carolina tonight broadcasting live for KJR and Sports USA Radio
- 18:03Speaker 1: five o'clock Game five at the Stanley Cup Final. It's
- 18:06Speaker 1: now best of three. The series is tied two two
- 18:08Speaker 1: between the Golden Knights and the Hurricanes. Game five on
- 18:11Speaker 1: our air tonight on nine three to three KJR at
- 18:15Speaker 1: five pm. Okay, out here at Sea Oork Headquarters. Yesterday
- 18:18Speaker 1: I told you they took off for a volunteer afternoon
- 18:21Speaker 1: and went to Children's Hospital and the Ronald McDonald's house,
- 18:23Speaker 1: the VA Hospital and Doug Baldwin's Family First Foundation's place. Chris,
- 18:29Speaker 1: you were out there the Family First Recreation Center, which
- 18:32Speaker 1: you say, it is pretty cool if teens got to
- 18:33Speaker 1: be with some players like Riley Mills shooting the hoops.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Yeah, Drake Thomas came in there and was banging with
- 18:39Speaker 2: the young fellas. He's short, but he is very explosive
- 18:42Speaker 2: and seeing him up closed playing with the kids, and
- 18:46Speaker 2: that was fun for them. They got a chance to
- 18:48Speaker 2: meet Aj Barner, one of the kids. Actually when Aj
- 18:51Speaker 2: when someone scored on Aj, they did his his famous
- 18:53Speaker 2: dance that he does and he scores a touchdown then
- 18:55Speaker 2: flex that. I was screaming and shouting. So it was
- 18:58Speaker 2: just cool for the kids to get an opportunity to
- 19:00Speaker 2: see these guys close up and then for them to
- 19:01Speaker 2: give back to the community just have fun playing basketball
- 19:04Speaker 2: with them, playing video games, welcoming them to the community center.
- 19:08Speaker 2: So I'm sure the kids really enjoyed it. Had a
- 19:10Speaker 2: couple of kids get the twelve flag and have players
- 19:13Speaker 2: signing that, so that was cool. And then Derek Hall
- 19:16Speaker 2: came in there and he lit it up because they're like, oh,
- 19:18Speaker 2: what's the on you know. Drew Locke came in, shot
- 19:21Speaker 2: a few shots and talked to the kids. So yeah,
- 19:23Speaker 2: it was a really cool opportunity. Patty Oakinhoop, I'll be honest,
- 19:26Speaker 2: Patrick O'Neill, young man can ball. So he was out
- 19:29Speaker 2: there putting on a show. But it was really fun
- 19:31Speaker 2: to see these kids connect with these guys and they
- 19:34Speaker 2: enjoyed it. So that was fun to see.
- 19:36Speaker 1: One of the many cool things that our guy Christopher
- 19:39Speaker 1: Kidd does is he volunteers at Doug Baldwin's Family First
- 19:42Speaker 1: Community Center in Renting and part of the program is
- 19:45Speaker 1: an after school program for teens. He's talked to me
- 19:48Speaker 1: about it. He wears hoodies around the station and yeah,
- 19:52Speaker 1: it had to be a pretty cool day for them yesterday,
- 19:54Speaker 1: the football part of it. Yesterday, it was an update
- 19:58Speaker 1: of injuries. I told you about Zach Sharbonay on Tuesday
- 20:02Speaker 1: shocking everybody by being on the field and doing high
- 20:05Speaker 1: step hurdler steps and machine gun type chopping of his
- 20:10Speaker 1: legs with a trainer and across lateral moves on the grass.
- 20:14Speaker 1: That that's for about fifteen minute. I didn't expect to
- 20:16Speaker 1: see him on any field doing anything till the end
- 20:18Speaker 1: of the summer. So I asked about Zach Charbonay yesterday,
- 20:23Speaker 1: and we also asked him about Kenny McIntosh. He had
- 20:26Speaker 1: the knee surgery after his injury about eleven months ago
- 20:29Speaker 1: at the end of July twenty twenty five at the
- 20:31Speaker 1: start a training camp, and also Tory Horton with the
- 20:34Speaker 1: shit injury that's had him out sideline since November. Chris,
- 20:38Speaker 1: I don't think I think you have a teed up.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Here's what Mike McDonald had to say about the injury
- 20:42Speaker 1: updates on those guys. Zach Scharvine I had a schedule,
- 20:45Speaker 1: launch schedule.
- 20:46Speaker 9: If you're gonna guess what type of schedule Zach Scharbony
- 20:48Speaker 9: would be on, that's the type of schedule he's on.
- 20:50Speaker 9: So I'm doing a great job, doing a great job.
- 20:53Speaker 9: I know he has a high expectations for himself and
- 20:56Speaker 9: look forward to see you know where it ends up.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Is there a possibility could be the start of the season.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Everything's possible.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Yeah, Kenny mcafish, where's he ever fail?
- 21:09Speaker 9: Kenny's good. We'll see, we'll see come training camp time
- 21:12Speaker 9: how we handle it. But he's come along.
- 21:15Speaker 1: For Horton, he's remained signlined with practices. He hasn't done
- 21:19Speaker 1: anything on the field of anything that the media has
- 21:22Speaker 1: been available for. McDonald's said quote. Still all positive a tory.
- 21:26Speaker 1: He's not going to do anything, meaning in this mini
- 21:29Speaker 1: camp this week. We should be looking at early on
- 21:32Speaker 1: in camp, if not the beginning of camp camp training
- 21:35Speaker 1: camp against July twenty fifth. McDonald's said on Horton quote,
- 21:38Speaker 1: if we stay on schedule and everything goes well, we'll
- 21:40Speaker 1: be praying that he can be out there. You've got
- 21:42Speaker 1: to be smart on how he comes back and all that.
- 21:44Speaker 1: I don't want to put a timetable on. It could
- 21:46Speaker 1: be anywhere from day one he's rocking and rolling, or
- 21:49Speaker 1: it could be a couple of days. We'll see, so
- 21:51Speaker 1: that that also is positive that maybe starts on the
- 21:54Speaker 1: pup list, but you can come off the physically and
- 21:56Speaker 1: able to perform list any time during training camp. And
- 21:59Speaker 1: if he'd pour and doesn't necessarily begin training camp on
- 22:02Speaker 1: the field, he would according to McDonald the hope is
- 22:05Speaker 1: he'd be there within days. Less so on McIntosh Chris.
- 22:09Speaker 1: He was more bullish on Sharboney who was injured in
- 22:13Speaker 1: mid January reconstructing surgery in February on his knee than
- 22:17Speaker 1: he was on McIntosh who got injured back in July.
- 22:21Speaker 1: And reading between the lines there, it sounds like it's
- 22:24Speaker 1: a far more extensive knee injury and surgery for McIntosh
- 22:28Speaker 1: as it was for Sharbonay. Because McDonald's well, you'll see
- 22:33Speaker 1: what we do with him at the start of camp
- 22:35Speaker 1: suggests that they're going to put him on an injured
- 22:36Speaker 1: list to begin camp. So while Charboney may also be
- 22:41Speaker 1: on probably will be on one to begin camp, I
- 22:43Speaker 1: don't expect them to be even close to full go
- 22:45Speaker 1: July twenty five. It's still really fuzzy on what's up
- 22:50Speaker 1: with Kenny McIntosh. So in the meantime, Jedarian Price, the
- 22:53Speaker 1: rookie first round pick, what's up with him? Well, Georgia
- 22:56Speaker 1: Lane has been the number one back with the starting
- 22:59Speaker 1: offense third running back for Boise State. The former undrafted
- 23:03Speaker 1: rookie took Charbonay's place as a second back beyond Kenneth
- 23:05Speaker 1: Walker after the injury in mid January. But in mini
- 23:10Speaker 1: camp Price has done far more with the ones he's
- 23:14Speaker 1: had entire series. He's been alternating more. It's been far
- 23:19Speaker 1: more of a one in one a with Halani and
- 23:21Speaker 1: Price than it was last week in Ota. So I
- 23:23Speaker 1: think that's a trend we'll continue into training camp, and
- 23:26Speaker 1: let's face it, Chris We've talked about it. September ninth,
- 23:29Speaker 1: when the Seahawks and Patriots kick off the NFL season
- 23:31Speaker 1: at Womenfield. It would be a shock if Jadarian Price
- 23:35Speaker 1: was not the number one running back. Yeah, we talked
- 23:38Speaker 1: about that. Was it Monday or Tuesday? Yeah, that would
- 23:41Speaker 1: be an eye route raised. There a little bit of
- 23:44Speaker 1: concerned if he's not unless something he gets banged, ub
- 23:47Speaker 1: or whatever. But I would fully expect him to take
- 23:50Speaker 1: the one.
- 23:51Speaker 2: The RB one position, Zach Charbonay finds as well as
- 23:54Speaker 2: RB two, and Kenny McIntosh and Hallani are fighting over
- 23:58Speaker 2: that three four there real quick.
- 24:00Speaker 1: I wanted to get an update on why they got
- 24:02Speaker 1: Bobby Hart. He's the veteran seventy five starts in the NFL,
- 24:06Speaker 1: ten years in the league at offensive tackle. He started
- 24:08Speaker 1: eight games for the Chargers last year. We asked why Hart,
- 24:12Speaker 1: and what of Josh Jones, the veterans swing tackle who
- 24:15Speaker 1: was played well late last season, starting when he had
- 24:18Speaker 1: to as an injury fill in? What I Josh Jones?
- 24:21Speaker 1: Why they got Bobby Hart? This is what Mike McDonald said,
- 24:24Speaker 1: is I need Bobby Hart. I guess hopeingynig of that.
- 24:26Speaker 1: How he's Josh jores.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Bobby's a good tackle. We need we need, we need a.
- 24:31Speaker 9: Third tackle, and uh, Josh hasn't practiced yet. So Josh
- 24:37Speaker 9: needs to practice to compete with Bobby. Right now, Bobby's practicing.
- 24:41Speaker 9: What's going on with Josh he's not practicing.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Is that related to the two injuries? He don't with Uh.
- 24:47Speaker 9: He's just he's just not ready to practice yet. So
- 24:49Speaker 9: he needs to. He needs to become ready to practice.
- 24:52Speaker 1: That's on.
- 24:53Speaker 9: That's his responsibility.
- 24:55Speaker 1: He needs to become ready to practice. That's his responsibility.
- 24:59Speaker 1: That's an indictment. You rarely hear McDonald talk like that.
- 25:02Speaker 1: He is so big on personal accountability, Chris. We know
- 25:05Speaker 1: that that for him to call out a veteran player
- 25:08Speaker 1: of he's got to become ready to practice, that tells
- 25:11Speaker 1: me he's not in shape. And he showed up out
- 25:14Speaker 1: of shape. And he's standing by and McDonald's saying, Okay,
- 25:18Speaker 1: you want to show up out of shape, you want
- 25:20Speaker 1: to show up not ready to practice. We're bringing a
- 25:22Speaker 1: veteran who's got seventy five starts to compete with you
- 25:24Speaker 1: for your backup job. And I think that's what's going
- 25:27Speaker 1: on with Josh Jones at least as knowing McDonald as
- 25:29Speaker 1: much as I do.
- 25:32Speaker 2: No, no nonsense. You either ready to play or you're not.
- 25:36Speaker 2: And that's what it sounds like. He ain't ready to play,
- 25:38Speaker 2: So he's not practicing. Pretty cutt and clear to the point.
- 25:42Speaker 2: That's my McDonald for You want to come and bs,
- 25:44Speaker 2: I got you. You just want to practice.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Coming up, we'll talk about tonight about the Super Bowl rings.
- 25:50Speaker 1: McDonald's talk about Jody Allen taking care of the Seahawks
- 25:53Speaker 1: and one of their last gifts. But before that, we're
- 25:56Speaker 1: gonna talk to Jackson Felts, our resident soccer guy, pre
- 25:59Speaker 1: and post game host for the Sounders about the World
- 26:02Speaker 1: Cup beginning this afternoon Mexico and South Africa. Jackson Felts
- 26:07Speaker 1: on Soccer Next on ninety three point three KJRFM. Welcome
- 26:17Speaker 1: back to the Drake Belt Show at Christopher Kidds While
- 26:20Speaker 1: from the Virginia Mason Athletics Center for the final day
- 26:22Speaker 1: of Seahawks mini camp. The players are walking onto the
- 26:24Speaker 1: field right now for the start of practice of the
- 26:27Speaker 1: last day of their offseason work. They're going to get
- 26:30Speaker 1: their Super Bowl rings tonight. Big exciting day for these people,
- 26:34Speaker 1: not just the players and coaches, but everyone who works
- 26:36Speaker 1: in this building a pretty special and unusual day. Getting
- 26:40Speaker 1: Super Bowl rings another unusual day because it's the start
- 26:42Speaker 1: of the World Cup. Mexico and South Africa play at
- 26:46Speaker 1: Estadiosteca and Siadad de Mexico at one o'clock our time.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Jackson Feldts our pre post game sounders host here on
- 26:54Speaker 1: ninety three point three KGr, joining us live back in
- 26:57Speaker 1: the studio at Elliott Bay and Jackson held Hell. Is
- 27:00Speaker 1: this like Christmas morning for you? Yeah?
- 27:02Speaker 10: This is Christmas, It's Thanksgiving, It's everything all wrapped into one.
- 27:06Speaker 10: Because I have my family of sounder broadcasters who are
- 27:09Speaker 10: doing our World Cup coverage here and house. You get
- 27:12Speaker 10: to see them, you get to see celebrate. Really, Greg,
- 27:15Speaker 10: what is I think the ultimate sporting event on the globe.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Some people that aren't into soccer may not understand this
- 27:22Speaker 1: is the largest, most popular sporting event, most watch sporting
- 27:26Speaker 1: event in the world. It doesn't come close to billions
- 27:30Speaker 1: of people that watch this. Can you just put into
- 27:33Speaker 1: maybe NFL terms or NBA or Major League Baseball terms
- 27:36Speaker 1: what this tournament is to the rest of the world.
- 27:38Speaker 10: Yeah, I think that's a good point, because I think
- 27:42Speaker 10: the estimate is that you're going to have about two
- 27:45Speaker 10: hundred and fifty million people watching each each of the games.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Here in the group stage.
- 27:54Speaker 10: So we have for the United State, for Seattle Stadium,
- 27:57Speaker 10: can't call it Luomenfield Seattle Stadium. Here we have six matches.
- 28:01Speaker 10: We have four in the group stage and a couple
- 28:03Speaker 10: of them are pretty big. And then you have a
- 28:05Speaker 10: Round of thirty two and you have a round a
- 28:06Speaker 10: sixteen game. Even the group stage game coming up on
- 28:10Speaker 10: Monday between Belgium and Belgium and Egypt, a major, huge
- 28:15Speaker 10: top twenty five matchup that is in that group that
- 28:20Speaker 10: itself is going to push probably north of two hundred
- 28:22Speaker 10: and fifty million. Well, all you need to do is
- 28:24Speaker 10: look how many viewers of these Super Bowl gets and
- 28:27Speaker 10: multiply that to understand just what the lesser of a
- 28:32Speaker 10: World Cup game is getting viewership of the global scale
- 28:35Speaker 10: and greg that isn't even then talking about what the
- 28:38Speaker 10: semifinals and the final get where last year or three
- 28:41Speaker 10: four years ago, twenty twenty two final, it was estimated
- 28:45Speaker 10: that two billion people watched that final, So you have
- 28:51Speaker 10: that context. It's bigger than any sporting event the United
- 28:55Speaker 10: States could ever put on. And you multiply that by
- 28:58Speaker 10: about ten billion.
- 29:00Speaker 1: He said it with that with a B. By the way,
- 29:03Speaker 1: the Super Bowl, for comparison, super Bowl sixty, the Seahawks
- 29:06Speaker 1: beating the Patriots average an audience of one hundred and
- 29:09Speaker 1: twenty five million across NBC, Peacock, Telemundo in the NFL
- 29:13Speaker 1: Plus digital platform. So twice as many people watch a
- 29:18Speaker 1: group stage match in the World Cup, any of them
- 29:21Speaker 1: then the Super Bowl. That's just to give an idea
- 29:24Speaker 1: of how globally popular this event is. You were at
- 29:27Speaker 1: the stadium yesterday. You saw the grass pitch, You saw
- 29:30Speaker 1: how it's elevated about sixteen inches. You saw how the
- 29:32Speaker 1: tall players are gonna have to duck coming out of
- 29:34Speaker 1: the tunnel. How would you describe the scene there of
- 29:38Speaker 1: the tour that you had, and how the stadium is different,
- 29:41Speaker 1: how the grass pitch feels. And we'll play just the
- 29:46Speaker 1: scene there before the games begin of what they've done
- 29:48Speaker 1: with lumenfield. Greg.
- 29:50Speaker 10: It looks great, it's going to play great, it feels great.
- 29:54Speaker 10: The whole thing is as good as you could ever
- 29:56Speaker 10: ask for. The interesting thing though, and you and I
- 29:59Speaker 10: being in the stadium as much as we are, we'll
- 30:01Speaker 10: certainly understand this. I think anybody who's ever been in
- 30:04Speaker 10: lumen Field will kind of feel this. So you're let's
- 30:07Speaker 10: just say, you know you're at average show driving down
- 30:10Speaker 10: I five right now, and you go to two three
- 30:13Speaker 10: Seahawk games a year, including preseason, and you see it
- 30:17Speaker 10: thirty rows up in the one hundred level, or.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Even you sit up in the three hundred level lower
- 30:21Speaker 2: lower area.
- 30:22Speaker 10: You see the field pretty far down the way it
- 30:25Speaker 10: is now. It's gonna sound like a small number, but
- 30:29Speaker 10: there's actually been built a fourteen inch high box that
- 30:36Speaker 10: includes a drainage system and irrigation system. But a box
- 30:40Speaker 10: was built over the base the floor of the stadium,
- 30:45Speaker 10: and that box. On top of that comes the grass
- 30:49Speaker 10: playing surface and everything involved with building. You know, the
- 30:51Speaker 10: sod and all that in the layers of you know everything, right,
- 30:55Speaker 10: So the when you're standing in the stands and when
- 30:58Speaker 10: you're sitting in your seat and you look down, the
- 31:01Speaker 10: field is considerably higher. You are considerably closer to the action.
- 31:07Speaker 10: You do feel it. I stood in there yesterday and
- 31:10Speaker 10: it is. It doesn't sound like a lot, but I
- 31:13Speaker 10: tell you what, Craig, it is visually, you know, you
- 31:17Speaker 10: can absolutely recognize. Oh, this is higher, this is different,
- 31:21Speaker 10: this is closer. Here from where I'm sitting right now.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Jackson Feltz our soccer guy pre and posts games, sounders
- 31:28Speaker 1: host joining us talking about the World Cup here on
- 31:30Speaker 1: ninety three point three kjfrom again, you can listen to
- 31:32Speaker 1: all of the matches on the iHeartRadio app. We've developed
- 31:35Speaker 1: a studio for the national broadcast of all the matches
- 31:39Speaker 1: in our studio at Elliott Bay. It's quite a production.
- 31:42Speaker 1: We're gonna be the Fox TV simulcast of the audio
- 31:45Speaker 1: from the Fox TV broadcast on the iHeartRadio app for
- 31:48Speaker 1: free for all of the matches. Okay, about the soccer itself,
- 31:52Speaker 1: you mentioned Belgium and Egypt. That's one of the best
- 31:55Speaker 1: group stages of the entire tournament. Matches good the kickoff
- 31:59Speaker 1: match here. US and Australia is the next match in Seattle,
- 32:03Speaker 1: Basni Herzegovina Cutter is the third match, and then it's
- 32:07Speaker 1: Belgium and Iran on a Friday night, the only night
- 32:10Speaker 1: game of the four group stage matches on Friday, June
- 32:13Speaker 1: twenty sixth at eight pm. You kind of hedged already.
- 32:16Speaker 1: What do you think the best of those four matches?
- 32:18Speaker 1: Are and what do you expect to happen in those four.
- 32:21Speaker 10: Yeah, belgimip's going to be a tremendous game. The star
- 32:24Speaker 10: power in that one with Debruyn versus Sola, those are
- 32:27Speaker 10: a couple of the big star names people are gonna
- 32:29Speaker 10: hear coming up next Monday on the iHeartRadio apples.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Vincent Comedy Company is still playing.
- 32:34Speaker 2: For I don't believe so.
- 32:35Speaker 10: I know he's like fifty years old, he's way way
- 32:37Speaker 10: older than but what a defensive leader for so long. No,
- 32:41Speaker 10: I think that's gonna be a tremendous game two top twenty.
- 32:44Speaker 10: I tell you what, greg Us Australia. Obviously, United States
- 32:48Speaker 10: is the favorited team right now. They're they're the betting
- 32:50Speaker 10: favorite to win their group. That's going to be a
- 32:53Speaker 10: tough game. It's going to be an intense game. There's
- 32:55Speaker 10: a lot of Australians who are coming up for this
- 32:58Speaker 10: game coming up next Friday at noon there and we're
- 33:02Speaker 10: gonna have the broadcast right here on ninety three three KJRFM.
- 33:06Speaker 10: And I think every game in the group stage is
- 33:09Speaker 10: gonna be difficult for the United States. That one coming
- 33:12Speaker 10: in Seattle will see what the temperatures are. It's supposed
- 33:14Speaker 10: to be like ninety three on Monday, by the way,
- 33:17Speaker 10: So if that's extremely hot, then weather is the ultimate
- 33:20Speaker 10: equalizer in soccer, in sports. So none of these are
- 33:23Speaker 10: gonna be easy for the United States. That's gonna be
- 33:25Speaker 10: a great game in itself.
- 33:27Speaker 1: They are having drinks breaks for this tournament, no matter, right.
- 33:30Speaker 10: Yeah, twenty two minutes past the first of both both hals,
- 33:34Speaker 10: twenty two minutes in for both halves, there will be
- 33:36Speaker 10: a mandatory hydration break of two minutes, and that exists
- 33:40Speaker 10: for every single game.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Now, the Cynics will say that's for commercials. Do you
- 33:45Speaker 1: see there's an actual reason to have the drinks.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Break, Yeah, big time.
- 33:50Speaker 10: I mean you're you're playing, and I mean, obviously I
- 33:52Speaker 10: mentioned Seattle's ninety three on Monday. You're absolutely gonna need that.
- 33:54Speaker 10: But you're playing in places like Dallas and Miami and
- 33:58Speaker 10: places that are going to get extremely lots of East
- 34:00Speaker 10: Coast stadiums where it's going to be so humid, need
- 34:04Speaker 10: those hydration breaks once a half.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Your favorite, I think I heard this morning you think Spain.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Spain and France are the two favorites. Who do you
- 34:12Speaker 1: think is gonna match up in the final.
- 34:14Speaker 10: Yeah, I think it's Spain. Spain's my pick to win.
- 34:17Speaker 10: I think they have just a tremendous midfield. In terms
- 34:20Speaker 10: of who they're up against, that is a great question.
- 34:23Speaker 10: France has been there back to back finals. In eighteen
- 34:27Speaker 10: they won it. In twenty two, they lost it in
- 34:29Speaker 10: penalty kicks to Argentina. Argentina is a great pick to
- 34:32Speaker 10: make the final as well. I love Anders who went
- 34:36Speaker 10: kind of off the board with Portugal, he says, and
- 34:39Speaker 10: I agree with him. They have a great midfield, maybe
- 34:41Speaker 10: according to him, the best in the world. I think
- 34:43Speaker 10: they're a little bit below Spain. But a Portugal versus
- 34:46Speaker 10: Spain final would be obviously a dream because of their
- 34:50Speaker 10: proximity to each other and then the way those midfields
- 34:53Speaker 10: match up. I would dream of seeing a Portugal Spain final.
- 34:58Speaker 1: World Cup again. In nineteen thirty States has won exactly
- 35:01Speaker 1: one knockout match, a knockout round match round of six
- 35:05Speaker 1: teamund There's a knockout round added this year because of
- 35:08Speaker 1: a forty eighteen tournament round to thirty two and July first,
- 35:12Speaker 1: they'll be one of those matches here in Seattle. First
- 35:14Speaker 1: of all, Jackson how would the US be able to
- 35:16Speaker 1: play in Seattle. They have to finish first inner group,
- 35:18Speaker 1: I think, And how realistically far do you think the
- 35:21Speaker 1: Americans go?
- 35:22Speaker 10: Yep, So if they win the group and the group
- 35:25Speaker 10: is mixed of of you know, a few teams, I
- 35:27Speaker 10: think Paraguay and Turkey are going to be in there,
- 35:29Speaker 10: with Australia as well. But I think the United States
- 35:32Speaker 10: just barely is going to be the favorite to win
- 35:34Speaker 10: their group. So if they win their group, then they
- 35:36Speaker 10: will go to Santa Clara in San Francisco Stadium, even
- 35:40Speaker 10: though it's in Santa Clara, and they will play a
- 35:43Speaker 10: third place team from one of five groups. Well, if
- 35:47Speaker 10: the United States win their group, they should be favored
- 35:49Speaker 10: to win that round of thirty two game against a
- 35:51Speaker 10: third place team. If they do that, they will then
- 35:55Speaker 10: return to Seattle on July sixth, I believe that's a Monday,
- 36:00Speaker 10: and they will likely be facing another top team there
- 36:03Speaker 10: in the round of sixteen. And if you look at
- 36:06Speaker 10: the way the group's shake out, that team very much
- 36:09Speaker 10: could be Belgium. The team that's currently training at this moment.
- 36:13Speaker 10: They are practicing at the Sounders facility in Long Acres.
- 36:16Speaker 10: They are stationed down in Retin. They're local, so US
- 36:20Speaker 10: Belgium July sixth, that Luminfield for a trip to the quarterfinals.
- 36:24Speaker 10: If the United States get to that game, Greg, all
- 36:27Speaker 10: my expectations have been met, and I'm okay they if
- 36:30Speaker 10: they go out there. But that would be my dreams,
- 36:33Speaker 10: the US fantasy to win that game and get to
- 36:35Speaker 10: a quarterfinal.
- 36:37Speaker 1: You aren't alone in that dream for sure, Jackson felt
- 36:40Speaker 1: It's an exciting time, so you can be all over
- 36:41Speaker 1: our air covenant for ninety three kJ dot com. Thanks
- 36:44Speaker 1: for joining us, sir, Thank you, Greg Jackson Feltz will
- 36:47Speaker 1: be with us all the next month, the month and
- 36:49Speaker 1: a half of the World Cup. Up. Next, we'll go

- 37:01Speaker 1: comeback in the NBA Finals. We'll talk about that next
- 37:03Speaker 1: from the Virginia Mason Athletic Center on ninety three point
