- 1:02Speaker 1: get those extensions. Put out their commands. Greg creative with numbers. Uh,
- 1:07Speaker 1: he's going to help us all get a discount. At
- 1:11Speaker 1: some point. You do your own taxes, commands, no no
- 1:17Speaker 1: extension you ever get tax feele back like you're still
- 1:20Speaker 1: doing their own taxes. You're not doing your own taxes.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Got people do that. They make it a business. Now
- 1:27Speaker 1: you're going for the one that comes out in January
- 1:31Speaker 1: when they tell you can file in January and get
- 1:33Speaker 1: to get it back quick. You don't even have to
- 1:35Speaker 1: wait to flip it and the alleged but big Kenny,
- 1:41Speaker 1: good morning to you. War Eagle. Good morning, sir. W
- 1:45Speaker 1: I didn't get a war Eagle. I was trying to
- 1:47Speaker 1: be cool. W D No, no, no, no, that's not War Eagle
- 1:51Speaker 1: commands you, Greg, War Eagle, War Eagle, bad producer, War
- 1:57Speaker 1: damn Eagle. There we'll go. But you gotta say Ward damn.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You got to say it back the final four. You
- 2:10Speaker 1: strict sports because you know I'd be like war damn
- 2:13Speaker 1: evil in this. Go ahead, Good morning till you. The
- 2:20Speaker 1: final four on the men's bracket is set. All the
- 2:23Speaker 1: number ones. I made it down to San Antonio.
- 2:29Speaker 5: Uh.
- 2:29Speaker 1: That includes my Auburn Tigers.
- 2:31Speaker 5: Uh.
- 2:31Speaker 1: They're gonna take on the Florida Cators team they've already
- 2:35Speaker 1: played twice this year being part of the SEC. Uh.
- 2:39Speaker 1: And then on the other side, Cooper Flag the first
- 2:44Speaker 1: pick of the NFL Draft, I will take on the Cougars.
- 2:51Speaker 1: The Cougar Houston Cougars is correct. Okay, I just want
- 2:54Speaker 1: to make sure you know you said NFL drafts. That's
- 2:56Speaker 1: a super talented boy. Yeah, because I'm not saying he
- 3:02Speaker 1: played football to be built, like, come on, man, that's overachieving.
- 3:07Speaker 1: He looked like a tight end you can run a
- 3:09Speaker 1: low route. And he's just a kid, just a kid,
- 3:13Speaker 1: not even like a young kid, a tiny, tiny little baby.
- 3:16Speaker 1: But he is the leader of the Duke Blue Devils
- 3:20Speaker 1: in Houston. And when all the ones show up at
- 3:24Speaker 1: the final four, you're gambling at your own risk. I
- 3:30Speaker 1: would do more, straight up. I wouldn't go no points.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I can just bet you straight up, But I don't know.
- 3:37Speaker 1: When all the number one show up, that means that
- 3:39Speaker 1: everything was in sync. That means the tournament got it right. Yeah,
- 3:45Speaker 1: that's what That's what you would have to committee would
- 3:49Speaker 1: be tough, to be tough to try. Else happened one
- 3:54Speaker 1: other time, Yeah, give the last time. Give them their credit. Yeah,
- 4:00Speaker 1: you condemn him on a lot of things. But if
- 4:03Speaker 1: all the ones make it, or even when you get
- 4:05Speaker 1: a combination of ones and two's, that means that the
- 4:09Speaker 1: committee was on it. They were on it. And this
- 4:12Speaker 1: year we will see Jani Broom getting hurt yesterday with
- 4:15Speaker 1: his right elbow, coming back playing the Willis Reed roll
- 4:19Speaker 1: there for Auburn. Hopefully it's not a shoeing arm, but
- 4:23Speaker 1: how effective of a rebounder. We really only have two
- 4:29Speaker 1: big men and he's one of them. So a lot
- 4:33Speaker 1: of therapy and hopefully, thank goodness that it's college you
- 4:38Speaker 1: don't have to give an injury report every second ball.
- 4:43Speaker 6: Did you see his machismo when he finally came back
- 4:46Speaker 6: out in that first rebound, he grabbed with the one
- 4:48Speaker 6: kind of like I'm still okay and he was probably
- 4:51Speaker 6: thinking I'm okay.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Bad Like that really hurts. I don't think I'm gonna
- 4:56Speaker 1: be able to do this, but it was a great atmosphere.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Uh Friday and yesterday and bad producer. I must say,
- 5:05Speaker 1: like I said last week, the game way too late.
- 5:11Speaker 1: I walked in my door without going to eat, without
- 5:16Speaker 1: stopping by Big Kenny's house over there, Magic City, without
- 5:20Speaker 1: stopping that drive no drive through I'm talking about door,
- 5:30Speaker 1: got in my car, dropped my friend off that it
- 5:33Speaker 1: was about a mile from me, and came home. It
- 5:37Speaker 1: was like one oh two.
- 5:38Speaker 7: Well this was Friday night, am, yes, ok, you got
- 5:42Speaker 7: home early yesterday though, excuse me, Yeah, it got started
- 5:45Speaker 7: early yesterday.
- 5:46Speaker 1: The game started at five and I got home about
- 5:49Speaker 1: eight thirty ish. I just had to wait for all
- 5:52Speaker 1: the post celebration at one am.
- 5:55Speaker 2: No.
- 5:55Speaker 7: Yeah, basketball, So what type of the game actually get through?
- 6:00Speaker 7: It was like level thirty. I think I was watching
- 6:02Speaker 7: about eleven forty something. The game started ten. Well that's
- 6:07Speaker 7: what ten oh five, and well I thought it was
- 6:10Speaker 7: about elevel, so it was closer than twenty. I thought
- 6:12Speaker 7: it was about level something.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I'm not exaggerating. It was like one o two, one
- 6:16Speaker 1: oh three when I punched the cold to get into
- 6:19Speaker 1: the house, and it was like man and to bed.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Look and it threw off what people don't get. It
- 6:24Speaker 1: throws off your sleep. Yeah, it does because you're coming
- 6:27Speaker 1: from a high yeah, and you're trying to decompress, so
- 6:31Speaker 1: you're not going through the levels of decompression to get
- 6:34Speaker 1: the sleep. You're coming from an arena where twenty thousand
- 6:37Speaker 1: people were. All you've been doing for two hours is
- 6:40Speaker 1: screaming and you know, and.
- 6:43Speaker 7: That's what that's when you should have went by Big
- 6:45Speaker 7: Kenny's and got some help to get you yourself together.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Sports shock.
- 6:49Speaker 6: I was going to say, I've got special methods for
- 6:52Speaker 6: decompression because comedy is like that a lot. You have
- 6:55Speaker 6: to really be geared up there for only about an
- 6:59Speaker 6: hour or two around a lot of people, and then
- 7:01Speaker 6: you go to a place where it's just you and
- 7:03Speaker 6: you're supposed to be able to calm down and go
- 7:05Speaker 6: to sleep.
- 7:05Speaker 1: No I didn't. I didn't actually about almost three o'clock,
- 7:10Speaker 1: someone somewhere, and I was sitting here the whole time
- 7:14Speaker 1: thinking this is what I'm talking about. We couldn't do this.
- 7:16Speaker 1: We had light on for you. I was sitting on
- 7:20Speaker 1: the port seven o'clock. That's all I kept thinking. We
- 7:23Speaker 1: could have done this dance. Stopped by the house next time.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Just come on. We sitting on everybody sitting on the porch,
- 7:29Speaker 1: Like he said, coming back a great Atmas, Fear got
- 7:33Speaker 1: to hang out with Auburns football coach he Freeze and
- 7:37Speaker 1: my man to Kio Spikes. We got a lot of
- 7:39Speaker 1: pressure on us h to win with the basketball game
- 7:43Speaker 1: and just to put you while on such a high.
- 7:45Speaker 1: This is only the second time we're not Carolina, where
- 7:49Speaker 1: the tradition of dominance has always been there in basketball.
- 7:54Speaker 1: This is alms second time in the Final Four in
- 7:58Speaker 1: the last six years. He went to the last Final
- 8:01Speaker 1: Four in Minnesota. That made it better for the sports
- 8:07Speaker 1: team sympathy, so That's why someone this is new and
- 8:14Speaker 1: it should always feel like this. You know, you always
- 8:17Speaker 1: have those hopes. And that's the best thing about college basketball,
- 8:22Speaker 1: which is changing a little because you're dealing with such
- 8:25Speaker 1: older Auburn does have the oldest team in and that's
- 8:29Speaker 1: the way it should be. Now. This is what I'm
- 8:31Speaker 1: and that's why I keep saying, keep thinking about just
- 8:36Speaker 1: letting programs have teams. Why does the player that is
- 8:40Speaker 1: not good enough for the NBA but better than the
- 8:43Speaker 1: college players have to not play basketball. He's not he's
- 8:51Speaker 1: not excuse me.
- 8:52Speaker 8: He's saying they just stay there. They can stay there.
- 8:56Speaker 8: They should just be able to play out. I just
- 8:58Speaker 8: cared that my team wins. You got GMS, you got
- 9:01Speaker 8: you paying people. Now it's just basically you can. If
- 9:06Speaker 8: I'm Georgia Tech, I'm over there suing about g p
- 9:08Speaker 8: A like we should just be Also, let's stop doing sports.
- 9:14Speaker 8: Why are we worried about.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Some of that money they we got guys come to
- 9:19Speaker 1: five colleges and think they then you think they're checking
- 9:22Speaker 1: the g p A.
- 9:24Speaker 8: Uh sports shot when or make make the classes easier
- 9:29Speaker 8: or no classes?
- 9:30Speaker 6: When you said the game is changing, the first thing
- 9:32Speaker 6: that I was thinking about, as I told you before
- 9:34Speaker 6: we started, that I saw that commercial, uh, don't be
- 9:37Speaker 6: a source sport like if you lose, don't take it
- 9:40Speaker 6: out on the athlete. And I wanted to ask you,
- 9:44Speaker 6: was there any in the stands there in that atmosphere.
- 9:48Speaker 6: Was there a lot of that betting and parlay chatter?
- 9:51Speaker 6: And the minute I said, I was thinking that elder
- 9:54Speaker 6: Casey Lamar Huey, I'll take duke for four hundred atlets.
- 9:58Speaker 1: And you know, and it was the first thing, like, man.
- 10:02Speaker 6: It was that just everybody's focus is how much we're
- 10:05Speaker 6: going to make on this or what people still engaged
- 10:08Speaker 6: in the spectacle of sport.
- 10:10Speaker 1: No, if you go staying it's it just continues to change.
- 10:14Speaker 1: It's very entertaining to go from everybody knows what's the spread.
- 10:20Speaker 1: So I'm the new being there. I just was born.
- 10:23Speaker 1: I was just born. Everybody else knows what the spread was,
- 10:27Speaker 1: they know when it changed. I'm just ear hustling. Well,
- 10:31Speaker 1: you know, it was four and a half on Thursday
- 10:34Speaker 1: at four o'clock and it's and.
- 10:37Speaker 6: They really because I think, and that's why, because what
- 10:40Speaker 6: I noticed in a lot of the coverage is when
- 10:43Speaker 6: they cut to the benches.
- 10:45Speaker 1: You see people behind them on those.
- 10:47Speaker 6: Phones and they're working the phone, and then they say
- 10:50Speaker 6: something to somebody and you can see them keeping up
- 10:52Speaker 6: with the stats. It's not just a I got a
- 10:55Speaker 6: text from my wife or something, it's I need to
- 10:58Speaker 6: keep up with this in real time.
- 10:59Speaker 5: Look.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Yeah, and my section. Really the biggest thing was I
- 11:02Speaker 1: had a couple of older people by me, elderly, and
- 11:08Speaker 1: they just didn't like how the people kept standing up.
- 11:12Speaker 1: They didn't understand how we were about eight rolls up
- 11:17Speaker 1: and your vantage point. Your view doesn't change if everybody
- 11:23Speaker 1: sits down. Everybody sees and they didn't like that. At
- 11:27Speaker 1: their age. I guess the gentleman probably was like maybe
- 11:31Speaker 1: seventy no, no, I'm not that old, sir, you didn't recognize.
- 11:36Speaker 1: But he just didn't like the people. And then it
- 11:40Speaker 1: wasn't just so much that they kept standing. They were
- 11:43Speaker 1: never even turning to be aware that they're blocking someone else.
- 11:48Speaker 1: They were just standing people. And I've been to a
- 11:51Speaker 1: couple of things where there are some people they plan
- 11:55Speaker 1: to stand every second except the commercial stuck there right behind. No,
- 12:01Speaker 1: but they're playing. Anytime the game is going, they're gonna
- 12:04Speaker 1: stand up. Until commercial happens.
- 12:06Speaker 7: And then some people say that's how they showed their
- 12:08Speaker 7: real fans. If my players on the floor, I'm gonna
- 12:11Speaker 7: staying with them. So yeah, but you're blocking, you're blocking
- 12:14Speaker 7: and everybody else.
- 12:15Speaker 1: And you came to the game to get crunked. Don't
- 12:17Speaker 1: worry about it. Down in a minute, don't worry about it.
- 12:21Speaker 1: I'll be down in a minute. We'll be back right
- 12:22Speaker 1: after this.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Cane Jason.

- 15:36Speaker 14: of the Day on the Sports Jocks.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Has taken it to a completely different level this year.
- 15:40Speaker 14: Where we highlight an appolte that has taken their game
- 15:43Speaker 14: to the next level.
- 15:55Speaker 1: States want to make to the swat shock, show them
- 16:07Speaker 1: the swat shock wing kN T. We talked about the
- 16:09Speaker 1: men's final four down in San Antonio that will start
- 16:13Speaker 1: on Saturday. Uh it'll be Houston Duke and Auburn versus Florida.
- 16:21Speaker 15: Uh.
- 16:21Speaker 1: The women's side of the bracket, two teams already in.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Which are the game Cocks out of South Carolina? What
- 16:30Speaker 1: up there? What you've done? It's done. Staley getting shorter
- 16:34Speaker 1: by the game shoes, you know what? You know she
- 16:39Speaker 1: had them, she had them risers before and now she
- 16:42Speaker 1: say they'd have gave me the contract extension. I ain't
- 16:45Speaker 1: got a play tall. I just stand on my money.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I want to be tall. She was ever a tall
- 16:50Speaker 1: point guard. She was always like five six five, that
- 16:54Speaker 1: kind of het for a point guard. Even today then
- 16:59Speaker 1: they now you know, most point guards were five nine
- 17:02Speaker 1: five ten. She was shorter, but I look on the
- 17:05Speaker 1: sideline because she was standing to shout out the young
- 17:09Speaker 1: lady at Duke to Carol Lawson. I always just love
- 17:13Speaker 1: to see when ex players that played the game and
- 17:16Speaker 1: to see them on the sideline coaching and going at it.
- 17:20Speaker 1: She's the head coach over at Duke. She was a
- 17:22Speaker 1: top tier player at Tennessee, which I'm quite sure that's
- 17:27Speaker 1: where she would love to find herself. And people people
- 17:31Speaker 1: have that dream. People think that they don't, but every
- 17:34Speaker 1: coaching they keep coaching on, their dream job is to
- 17:39Speaker 1: coach at their college, even though consider a dream school.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Yeah even And that's why sometimes you hear a program
- 17:48Speaker 1: attempt a coach and you'll be like, well, he's already winning, yes,
- 17:52Speaker 1: but he's not winning at his alma made Yes, so
- 17:56Speaker 1: he got nine championships, but you want to go home, Hey,
- 18:01Speaker 1: Wes are you doing?
- 18:04Speaker 8: George went the Maryland coach, the men's coach. He took
- 18:08Speaker 8: the Villanova UH coaching position, and right when he left,
- 18:15Speaker 8: Grievous Vasquez Steve Blake, who played at Maryland. They posted
- 18:20Speaker 8: that they want the job. So that's where Steve Blake down.
- 18:24Speaker 8: I don't know, but he might be his assistant somewhere.
- 18:27Speaker 8: He was there with that one one Dixon.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Or yeah, him one Dixon and my man back in
- 18:35Speaker 1: the day. But yeah, there's everyone I've ever sat with,
- 18:38Speaker 1: talked to, no matter where they are, and they don't
- 18:40Speaker 1: know if they're ever going to get full circle. But
- 18:44Speaker 1: if they went somewhere, you know, they would love to
- 18:48Speaker 1: end up back to coach at their school. But Carol Lawson,
- 18:53Speaker 1: she's at Duke Uh Don Staley the game Cocks in
- 18:56Speaker 1: u C l A behind their big center.
- 18:59Speaker 14: Uh.
- 19:00Speaker 1: That's finally got over the hump. They beat LSU. So
- 19:04Speaker 1: those two teams are in and today's action will be
- 19:09Speaker 1: well kind of later tonight. Howwick Well, Yukon plays USC
- 19:15Speaker 1: at nine pm tonight my side started hurt get your
- 19:24Speaker 1: little nap ny, I'll be at the house. I'll be
- 19:27Speaker 1: at the house about nine o'clock. TCU takes on. Who
- 19:33Speaker 1: is at Texas at seven o'clock? You got the little
- 19:38Speaker 1: most likely because you have to cut the nets down
- 19:41Speaker 1: to go to the final four, So that seven o'clock
- 19:43Speaker 1: will turn that Yukon game into like nine thirty because
- 19:47Speaker 1: you have to do the ceremony, if the trophy presentation
- 19:50Speaker 1: for winning that region.
- 19:54Speaker 8: Because they're only I didn't realize this, they're only doing
- 19:57Speaker 8: two locations. Yeah, the for the women's tournament there are
- 20:02Speaker 8: only two and that's.
- 20:03Speaker 1: What Geno and Amiano from Yukon and also what's our
- 20:14Speaker 1: the great coach down there at L s U both
- 20:18Speaker 1: this week we're talking about they don't like the set
- 20:21Speaker 1: up with the second round. They think it should be
- 20:25Speaker 1: more like the men's where there's four spots instead of two.
- 20:30Speaker 1: They don't want the super regionals, right, I don't know,
- 20:33Speaker 1: but you know, and two prolific coaches like them. I mean,
- 20:36Speaker 1: they could almost name the trophy after Geno. If not
- 20:43Speaker 1: Geno Pat Summit, it could be something like that. So
- 20:47Speaker 1: we will see how those power brokers next year. Yeah
- 20:52Speaker 1: to so sorry Kenny t c U.
- 20:57Speaker 7: She once again the third school and she's playing for
- 21:02Speaker 7: a chance to go to the final four. So you know,
- 21:04Speaker 7: you see that, you know, these kids jumping the portal,
- 21:07Speaker 7: but she's a player, and it makes you think, like, wow,
- 21:12Speaker 7: the jumping around is everybody gonna continue? Even on the
- 21:15Speaker 7: women's side. You know, they're jumping around and going for
- 21:17Speaker 7: these deals. But they're still doing the job though, So well.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Are they doing their job or they're just creating super teams.
- 21:25Speaker 1: If I'm the top scorer at Auburn and I just
- 21:28Speaker 1: go get in on the fun at South Carolina because
- 21:32Speaker 1: the gravy train is going, so is it really me?
- 21:36Speaker 1: Or I mean, if you if you go to South
- 21:39Speaker 1: Carolina to start. No, I'm at Auburn now right.
- 21:44Speaker 8: I mean, like, yeah, you're starting at Auburn leading score
- 21:46Speaker 8: or whatever, but you're gonna transfer to South.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Carolina's already in the final four, are you? Are they
- 21:53Speaker 1: saying you're gonna start next year? Start? Come off the bench?
- 21:57Speaker 1: My impact? What impact? Am I building the program? I'm
- 22:01Speaker 1: just joining the program. Well, if you're just joining, then,
- 22:04Speaker 1: but that's what I'm saying.
- 22:05Speaker 6: I'm just I mean, we already temptations, we then established
- 22:10Speaker 6: the name, and you coming in as just the new
- 22:14Speaker 6: baritone Dennis. See what I'm saying, Come on home, man,
- 22:17Speaker 6: What exactly did you bring to us? But you bought
- 22:20Speaker 6: your talent and allowed us to continue.
- 22:22Speaker 1: But we were already because you take Heyle van List.
- 22:25Speaker 1: She started at Louisville for two years, and she ran
- 22:29Speaker 1: down to l s U two years and now she's
- 22:33Speaker 1: run to TCU. So all the LSU players I guess,
- 22:38Speaker 1: or whoever she wanted to play with, left and now
- 22:40Speaker 1: she went bigger, a bigger nil at another school. I
- 22:46Speaker 1: wanted to ask you said that coach Oriama and both
- 22:51Speaker 1: coaches Oriam and Mulky complained about super regional.
- 22:54Speaker 6: It's just in two locations. Are those byproducts of business
- 23:00Speaker 6: symptoms in that I ain't nobody go to four different
- 23:04Speaker 6: spots to see the women's tournament, you know what I mean?
- 23:08Speaker 6: Now we can feel up Birmingham the whole weekend. We
- 23:11Speaker 6: can do that a week straight there. But to move
- 23:15Speaker 6: that from that and then one of them in Charlotte
- 23:17Speaker 6: and maybe something in a Memphis, and I.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Think that's the that's what the pushback from the n
- 23:23Speaker 1: c A B.
- 23:24Speaker 7: Yeah, like those seats are gonna come on. We gotta
- 23:27Speaker 7: pay this fee for the ring up. Come on, we
- 23:29Speaker 7: gotta pay for security, we gotta pay for all the police,
- 23:32Speaker 7: off duty police officers.
- 23:33Speaker 1: So it's more of a loss than it would be
- 23:36Speaker 1: a game.
- 23:37Speaker 7: Yeah, it looks good, aesthetics looks good that we're playing
- 23:40Speaker 7: these regions, but the super regions works out.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Best, especially when you're carrying on two tournaments at the
- 23:45Speaker 1: same time, and a lot of these programs have both
- 23:50Speaker 1: men and women in these tournaments. I start trying now
- 23:54Speaker 1: separate the fan base for real, right because you and Spokane.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I'm in Albuquerque, but we've played with Saint John. Yeah, yeah,
- 24:02Speaker 1: but we all you know, for Saint John, we've bet
- 24:06Speaker 1: we all all over the world. Right now, we'll be
- 24:09Speaker 1: back more to Sports Out show right after this.
- 24:13Speaker 9: Hey jn't bowl Wayne Boor of the Sports Josh Hill
- 24:34Speaker 9: with Wayne Dantius.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Coming up next.
- 24:38Speaker 16: H Oh brah, that's buzzed.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah yeah, he's starting with the woots and now
- 24:44Speaker 1: a speech.
- 24:45Speaker 10: I just want to say that friendship is about heart,
- 24:48Speaker 10: heart and brain.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Who's with me?
- 24:51Speaker 9: Good thing is he knows when he's buzzed, and my
- 24:54Speaker 9: brain is saying, when it's time to go home, Somebody
- 24:56Speaker 9: call me a ride.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Love that guy, me too.
- 24:59Speaker 15: No, your buzzed warning signs call for a ride when
- 25:02Speaker 15: it's time to go home.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Buzz driving is drunk driving. A message FROMNITZA and the

- 26:56Speaker 1: busy showing your lesson? Right, So go gets a cabin
- 27:03Speaker 1: to turn around and drop a drop a welcome back
- 27:10Speaker 1: to this what Shock Shop up, this what Shock Wing
- 27:13Speaker 1: and d I do see that our man Shannon sharp
- 27:17Speaker 1: Uh and Chad Ocho Cinco Johnson, they're going on tour. Guys,
- 27:23Speaker 1: y'all you see that they're taking their podcast show a
- 27:28Speaker 1: Nightcap around the country starting July twenty six. I don't
- 27:35Speaker 1: know how many dates, let's say eight, maybe eight to
- 27:38Speaker 1: ten dates they've set. But how do you think that's
- 27:44Speaker 1: gonna go over?
- 27:46Speaker 6: Well, if I were them, I'm sure somebody might show
- 27:51Speaker 6: up just for the spectacle of their celebrity, just to
- 27:54Speaker 6: meet them. But if they're going to take it on
- 27:57Speaker 6: a tour, they could say, if they were coming to
- 27:59Speaker 6: a city like Atlanta, reach out to the top podcasting
- 28:03Speaker 6: sports show in that city, like say, for instance, just
- 28:06Speaker 6: off top of my head, a sports jock show and
- 28:09Speaker 6: come and sit in with them. And now you have
- 28:13Speaker 6: an inside to how this demographic in this area thinks
- 28:17Speaker 6: and moves, and you can incorporate that into your platform
- 28:21Speaker 6: because people show up for this stuff. I never thought
- 28:23Speaker 6: that podcasts would be as popular as they are now, but.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Typically people show up when whatever you might be doing
- 28:33Speaker 1: goes along with an event. An event right now it's
- 28:37Speaker 1: some kind of ban week or national this and I
- 28:41Speaker 1: see that there's eight dates. It starts in Baltimore where
- 28:44Speaker 1: shedding one super Bowl that's on June the thirteenth, and
- 28:49Speaker 1: they go to Philly, Charlotte, La, Miami Beach, New York, Chicago,
- 28:55Speaker 1: and then in Detroit. Skip it? Many up? Why would
- 29:00Speaker 1: you skip it?
- 29:01Speaker 7: It seems like they're going through like right where many
- 29:03Speaker 7: camp start. Maybe they're gonna that's not when many or
- 29:06Speaker 7: the one of the little training sessions June, Yeah, y'all have?
- 29:10Speaker 1: Is there any pre training then football?
- 29:12Speaker 7: I'm just like you said, I'm trying to figure out
- 29:13Speaker 7: what angle they're using to with something going on in
- 29:17Speaker 7: the area that they can fall in there. Because the
- 29:19Speaker 7: only other thing I could think of Kenny's eighty five
- 29:21Speaker 7: South Show, how they go do live and sit on
- 29:24Speaker 7: the couch. Maybe they're trying to well emmilate that as
- 29:30Speaker 7: far as when they're live.
- 29:31Speaker 6: And I'm saying in that The draw for that was
- 29:36Speaker 6: that it was a kind of comedy show inside.
- 29:40Speaker 7: But what you're saying, though, they gotta have to add
- 29:43Speaker 7: somebody in that city.
- 29:44Speaker 1: And that's what I'm saying.
- 29:46Speaker 6: I don't understand one why they were skipping Atlanta, and
- 29:49Speaker 6: two what are going to be the additional bells and
- 29:54Speaker 6: whistles to make what they do attractive to a live audience,
- 29:58Speaker 6: because we can only talk about you know when.
- 30:02Speaker 1: She turned around? All right, I tell you, baby, I
- 30:06Speaker 1: kept over going. You did? I did? I did right there.
- 30:09Speaker 6: I don't know how we're gonna do that in an
- 30:11Speaker 6: arena for like two and a half.
- 30:13Speaker 1: What did you say?
- 30:15Speaker 3: We did that?
- 30:16Speaker 5: Now?
- 30:16Speaker 1: Died that? Well, that's shinning and Chad, if you want
- 30:20Speaker 1: to see him outside of the podcast, they will be
- 30:24Speaker 1: selling tickets to arenas and you can go in and
- 30:28Speaker 1: watch him. I got a chance, speaking of Baltimore, to
- 30:31Speaker 1: go up to jamal Lewis ed Reid ed Read his
- 30:33Speaker 1: dog office coordinator up at Chamberley High School. They had
- 30:37Speaker 1: a charity event on Friday at Top Golf. It's a
- 30:40Speaker 1: huge top golf, probably the biggest I've seen top golf,
- 30:45Speaker 1: like four levels here in Atlanta. Yeah, up in Alpharetta. Okayes,
- 30:51Speaker 1: well no, that was the first one that was opening Atlanta.
- 30:53Speaker 1: It's on man sale road getting their alumni and trying
- 30:59Speaker 1: to his money in high school. You kind of have to, yeah,
- 31:03Speaker 1: be equally parts booster. You gotta get some boosters and
- 31:08Speaker 1: get some money together because you got to buy a
- 31:10Speaker 1: couple of players. U Jamal has a son who's ah
- 31:13Speaker 1: you do but break all that is is his antiquated sensibility.
- 31:20Speaker 1: He come from.
- 31:21Speaker 8: Yeah, he come from when we were Yeah, that would
- 31:24Speaker 8: be snitching a level I could see nobody level. But
- 31:29Speaker 8: it's open season. Yeah we could. We can say stuff
- 31:31Speaker 8: like that. Now are we forging? Like address form?
- 31:35Speaker 1: So there in the race, I'm a real estate broker.
- 31:39Speaker 1: We'll get you an apartment. Yeah, he lived here for
- 31:42Speaker 1: real but he's he's sixteen and he lived here for
- 31:45Speaker 1: a car. Yeah, but you know, live with him. At
- 31:49Speaker 1: one point, macipated himself at one point to reclassify Shambly
- 31:55Speaker 1: was a powerhouse.
- 31:57Speaker 7: Not to say a powerhouse, but because they are Magnet school,
- 32:00Speaker 7: then have the great academics. They they're the best public
- 32:05Speaker 7: school in the cab There you go with that a
- 32:08Speaker 7: word again, academics. But I'm saying it was are we
- 32:12Speaker 7: worried about that? But I'm at that if I'm bringing
- 32:16Speaker 7: you from the state of worried about academics.
- 32:19Speaker 1: To play high school football. But Georgia, do you think
- 32:23Speaker 1: I'm going once you, once you started paying in any
- 32:25Speaker 1: kind of form or fashion, you actually drew a line
- 32:29Speaker 1: through what we lived on. The difference between one level
- 32:35Speaker 1: and the other was one was labeled amateur amateur and
- 32:40Speaker 1: one was professional. For us, an amateur without a check,
- 32:45Speaker 1: he was a professional with a check. Since everybody getting
- 32:50Speaker 1: a check, it seems like everybody are professional now now.
- 32:53Speaker 6: Amateurs might have to meet certain criteria to qualify to play.
- 32:58Speaker 1: They got g PA, they.
- 33:00Speaker 6: Got to come from certain places, they got to wait
- 33:03Speaker 6: certain amounts of time, but pros all they have to
- 33:06Speaker 6: be able to do is the job. And I can
- 33:08Speaker 6: hire you right now because this private industry. Remember that's
- 33:13Speaker 6: private industry when you're talking about professional. So why are
- 33:17Speaker 6: we still talking about academics, sir? I don't know why
- 33:20Speaker 6: we keep talking about.
- 33:21Speaker 7: You keep bringing that up and object all I was
- 33:23Speaker 7: saying when he said he was I was just making
- 33:25Speaker 7: reference that Shambley is one of the top public schools
- 33:29Speaker 7: in the cab that's not private, and it is a
- 33:31Speaker 7: great place and they're going to have a good they
- 33:33Speaker 7: should have a good chance of bringing in some players.
- 33:37Speaker 1: But I mean, well, I don't know about what they
- 33:40Speaker 1: have around them. I mean, I'm quite sure they will
- 33:43Speaker 1: grab a couple of players. We see what ed Edson
- 33:45Speaker 1: is a rising senior. He's a receiver running back type,
- 33:50Speaker 1: same as Jamal Lewis who his son is kind of
- 33:53Speaker 1: a slot receiver. So we will see how this had
- 33:56Speaker 1: a good turnout up at top golf. Sa Quincy Carter Q,
- 34:03Speaker 1: which I didn't know he was still alive, but he was.
- 34:07Speaker 7: You know, he's training, he's doing a lot of great things,
- 34:09Speaker 7: but he's training out of Southwestern.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Quarterbacks. Really yeah, he's well.
- 34:17Speaker 7: Interesting, No, it's interesting that he has made the mentoring
- 34:21Speaker 7: program that I worked with when that they utilized him
- 34:24Speaker 7: a couple of years ago, and this when and he's
- 34:26Speaker 7: made that since that made that change. So I'm happy
- 34:28Speaker 7: for Quincy though, But like you said, at one point,
- 34:32Speaker 7: we all can make a difference now sports.
- 34:34Speaker 1: He said that why I've never understood by the reformed
- 34:45Speaker 1: drug reform criminal voice is so prominent with people. I
- 34:57Speaker 1: particularly like to hear the people that made the choices
- 35:02Speaker 1: not to go down those world roads. There's nothing wrong
- 35:06Speaker 1: with hearing both. I mean I could see us here
- 35:09Speaker 1: in both.
- 35:09Speaker 7: I mean especially when Quincy, he's a local guy here
- 35:13Speaker 7: he did he was like something special in Georgia as
- 35:17Speaker 7: far as baseball and football as an athlete. So when
- 35:21Speaker 7: you see him make a difference, is trying to reform
- 35:24Speaker 7: and then he's stepping out.
- 35:26Speaker 6: I mean, uh, sports shock and speaking of someone who
- 35:29Speaker 6: has reformed. I prefer advice from the guys you was
- 35:32Speaker 6: talking about.
- 35:35Speaker 1: I would rather you just be wise the whole time.
- 35:37Speaker 1: I would hate to be like eight grams a cocaine
- 35:41Speaker 1: and a night in jail to be what brought you
- 35:43Speaker 1: to your spiritual awakenings. All of us don't need that
- 35:48Speaker 1: in our life, but somebody gotta go through. My advice.
- 35:54Speaker 6: Through my advice is gonna always be shaded with that
- 35:57Speaker 6: life experience. There may be sometimes you don't deserve the
- 36:01Speaker 6: benefit of the doubt, but I'm gonna have to give
- 36:03Speaker 6: it to.
- 36:04Speaker 1: You because I had to get it. I wouldn't be
- 36:08Speaker 1: here if somebody didn't give me the benefit of the doubt.
- 36:10Speaker 1: So I've always got to be willing to lend that
- 36:12Speaker 1: and sometimes maybe you don't need it? Which is which
- 36:17Speaker 1: is true? Which is true? Bill Gates, one of the
- 36:20Speaker 1: richest men that's ever walk the earth, says that AI
- 36:25Speaker 1: will replace doctors, teachers within ten years, claims humans won't
- 36:32Speaker 1: be needed for most things. This is Bill Gates in
- 36:37Speaker 1: about ten years. Is this isn't a good thing for humans? Listen,
- 36:44Speaker 1: the robots are coming, but so what are we gonna
- 36:47Speaker 1: do fight the robots? This is the thing. Gotta I
- 36:51Speaker 1: find it. We gotta program the robots. We know we
- 36:55Speaker 1: programmed the robots. The program the robots, And sir, this
- 36:58Speaker 1: is yesterday.
- 37:00Speaker 6: Yesterday, I'm out in one of the big block big
- 37:04Speaker 6: box membership stores, and for about fifteen minutes of my experience,
- 37:09Speaker 6: the robot floor cleaner followed me around the store, needing
- 37:15Speaker 6: me to move out its way.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Maybe smell herb. I don't think it was that kind
- 37:19Speaker 1: of robot I'm saying, but if it was, okay, that
- 37:22Speaker 1: maybe why it was following.
- 37:23Speaker 6: Me, because that definitely went up in there like that.
- 37:25Speaker 6: It's a big box place, you know, a lot of stimulation.
- 37:28Speaker 6: I need to calm down. But it was just de
- 37:32Speaker 6: de de and the guy who I guess assisted said, sir,
- 37:36Speaker 6: He's trying to make a right turn.
- 37:38Speaker 1: And I'm looking like, who's he? And then I look
- 37:41Speaker 1: at this robot c yeah, like the Zamboni. And then
- 37:45Speaker 1: it comes down and it's got cameras on the side
- 37:48Speaker 1: and it does inventory scanning while it cleans floors.
- 37:52Speaker 6: And I was thinking, like this dude's right, it's another guy.
- 37:58Speaker 6: They might be doing surveillance. That's what I'm saying. It
- 38:00Speaker 6: has inventory control? Why not it's doing both? Because my
- 38:05Speaker 6: wife said that is this machine watching us? Because it's
- 38:08Speaker 6: been watch because why wouldn't it. And at the same time,
- 38:11Speaker 6: we're scanning and going so we don't have to talk.
- 38:14Speaker 1: To running will send that feed of seeing the floor
- 38:20Speaker 1: to security come and check what we're buying? To interest
- 38:23Speaker 1: us because she's doing scanning. Go so why she's scanning
- 38:27Speaker 1: and going? Ads could be popping up. Look at what
- 38:30Speaker 1: they're talking about, Listen to what they're doing. And that's
- 38:33Speaker 1: where we're going with this, Like the checkout line, why
- 38:36Speaker 1: do you need a picture of me? So clearly you
- 38:39Speaker 1: feel like you're taking a What do you do when
- 38:42Speaker 1: you get a red mug shot? Yeah, your image is
- 38:46Speaker 1: being and I look and be like, Okay, I look
- 38:48Speaker 1: pretty good on film.
- 38:49Speaker 13: You know.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Well I'm saying and that's being recorded some hard.
- 38:56Speaker 8: Is that why the kids wear the shasty so they
- 38:58Speaker 8: don't the cameras get in their post.
- 39:00Speaker 1: I just that might be No, that came from COVID.

- 41:28Speaker 21: And now back to the sports job Wayne Gandy log
- 41:52Speaker 21: on so you can see a sports jaint I'll sing
- 41:56Speaker 21: from Welcome back to this show. I'm just shop wing Kenny,
- 42:02Speaker 21: Good morning to you. A great conversation. They're doing the break.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Guys. We were talking about basically movies like Will Smith
- 42:09Speaker 1: I robot. Yes that for some reason, even though multiple
- 42:17Speaker 1: movies have been written about this subplot, Yes, we have
- 42:22Speaker 1: decided that we want to see if it will become true.
- 42:26Speaker 1: And I got chased by a robot yesterday. I got
- 42:29Speaker 1: surveilled by a robot yesterday. So it ain't no ten
- 42:33Speaker 1: years in the future.
- 42:35Speaker 6: Talking about it might take ten years before they replaced
- 42:39Speaker 6: teachers and doctors, but they've replaced custodians and assembly line
- 42:44Speaker 6: workers years ago.
- 42:46Speaker 1: Well, a lot of people feel like the self checkout.
- 42:48Speaker 1: They don't like it, are y'all? Self checkout guys, there's
- 42:50Speaker 1: been a lot of they say it's too many eras
- 42:52Speaker 1: and it doesn't speed up, and they feel the difference
- 42:57Speaker 1: in no, you know, if you got like one item, sure,
- 43:01Speaker 1: but if you have the same amount of items, you
- 43:03Speaker 1: would have taken two. Well, this is the thing.
- 43:05Speaker 6: Self checkout used to only be for like ten ten
- 43:08Speaker 6: items or less, ten to fifteen items or less. And
- 43:11Speaker 6: this is something I think is interesting now with self checkout,
- 43:14Speaker 6: Like I said yesterday in the Big box store, they
- 43:16Speaker 6: came up and talked us into scanning go. And scanning
- 43:21Speaker 6: go is where you scan your own items. It adds
- 43:24Speaker 6: up and you pay it and when you go out,
- 43:26Speaker 6: you don't have to pass any line a self checkout
- 43:29Speaker 6: or anything. And the catch is the savings are in
- 43:34Speaker 6: the checkout. So saving us money on labor where you
- 43:39Speaker 6: actually have to talk to a person, will give you
- 43:41Speaker 6: six extra dollars off this purchase.
- 43:44Speaker 1: But I'm paying you, so I'm paying you the six
- 43:46Speaker 1: dollars because you are the laborer.
- 43:48Speaker 6: Basically, you're paying me the six dollars. But to pay
- 43:52Speaker 6: me the six dollars eliminates you having to pay the
- 43:55Speaker 6: twenty five to the person who just basically stands there
- 43:58Speaker 6: and watches.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Me do the same. You think anyway, because they give
- 44:01Speaker 1: you the.
- 44:01Speaker 7: Little Also at the self checkout, they lately they ran
- 44:05Speaker 7: into like a lot of the scams, Like there was
- 44:08Speaker 7: a lady that had a buggy full of stuff, but
- 44:10Speaker 7: she had this one dollar scan code and every time
- 44:14Speaker 7: she went up she had that would place it on there.
- 44:16Speaker 7: So Walmart and like those places are investigating things like
- 44:19Speaker 7: that and that's why they have cut back on some
- 44:21Speaker 7: of the.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Standalone self checkouts. Kendrick Perkins, longtime NBA center now on ESPN.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Perk says that Jordan Brand is being petty. He said,
- 44:38Speaker 1: ever since he said that Lebron James was his goat,
- 44:44Speaker 1: Jordan Brand stopped sending him sneakers that petty. No, he
- 44:51Speaker 1: don't play them or business business. No, after he was playing,
- 44:55Speaker 1: they were still seeing him. It can be it can
- 44:59Speaker 1: be both. It can be petty, and that's the business
- 45:06Speaker 1: of being petty.
- 45:08Speaker 6: That's somebody that's in the business of being hold on,
- 45:12Speaker 6: did Perk say, And that wasn't no business decision, that
- 45:15Speaker 6: was a goat decision.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Mike heard him a hold on, hold on, I can
- 45:20Speaker 1: say hey, hey, hey, get get get my factory.
- 45:24Speaker 7: I'm gonna say it's petty because I heard a saw
- 45:27Speaker 7: video just recently come up where Michael Jordan was talking
- 45:29Speaker 7: about Harrison Barnes and I forgot that team, and Harrison
- 45:33Speaker 7: had on a pair of Kobe's. Mike said, Man, we
- 45:37Speaker 7: wear Jordan's. You're doing them Kobe's on and everybody was
- 45:40Speaker 7: like ooh o and then Mike was like, man, what, oh,
- 45:44Speaker 7: you ain't get no more shoes and it's on video.
- 45:47Speaker 7: So yeah, Mike petty.
- 45:49Speaker 6: So he in the business of being petty where he
- 45:53Speaker 6: said that Mike won't even take calls from him until
- 45:56Speaker 6: basically he stopped playing, until you stopped shadowing over what
- 46:01Speaker 6: I've done and being compared to me, I'm on the
- 46:04Speaker 6: back nine.
- 46:06Speaker 1: So the same uncle, he said, they don't really talk much.
- 46:11Speaker 1: I ain't interested in it, and he admitted that him
- 46:14Speaker 1: and Kobe didn't really talk much until Kobe retired more
- 46:18Speaker 1: than that last year or two, and he got tired
- 46:21Speaker 1: of it.
- 46:21Speaker 6: He got tired of telling people tell Kobe Bron out here,
- 46:24Speaker 6: and they asking him, Bron, who like Kobe?
- 46:27Speaker 1: You know who this is? And only the only thing
- 46:30Speaker 1: I can add to that is that you know modern times,
- 46:33Speaker 1: it seems like guys are a little more connected. You
- 46:38Speaker 1: can even watch a game and they will help each
- 46:40Speaker 1: other off the ground opposite team. Cool times. There was
- 46:45Speaker 1: almost a line unwritten rule like you know how they
- 46:48Speaker 1: say in baseball. It was almost this line that was
- 46:52Speaker 1: drawn that if we don't play on the same team,
- 46:55Speaker 1: we don't converse. Pat Riley, that we don't even go
- 47:01Speaker 1: to the if I come in, we don't you know,
- 47:04Speaker 1: other than a quick dap we had like we're in
- 47:06Speaker 1: two different businesses. Now I'm saying that we wasn't guarding
- 47:10Speaker 1: each other. My man, you better come out and you
- 47:15Speaker 1: better throw them. If you don't, though, you're gonna get
- 47:17Speaker 1: beat up in the locker room.
- 47:18Speaker 6: I mean because even when Isaiah and Magic would come
- 47:22Speaker 6: out with their little display of friendship, people be kind
- 47:25Speaker 6: of like, man, that ain't necessary before the game.
- 47:27Speaker 1: Bro yeah, elbow by the end, I'm saying, but I
- 47:33Speaker 1: just and remember we were talking about w W E
- 47:39Speaker 1: and w C W all that and right there before
- 47:44Speaker 1: Dusty Rhodes that's the way. Yes, he talked about how
- 47:49Speaker 1: him and Rick Flair we're great friends. Yes, but the
- 47:55Speaker 1: sad part of their friendship is that they always had
- 47:58Speaker 1: to be a part because the storyline was that they
- 48:02Speaker 1: were not friends, and it went over so well that
- 48:09Speaker 1: other than a phone call, they couldn't just be out
- 48:14Speaker 1: out at the concert. No, they can't hang. They can't
- 48:19Speaker 1: and you know, Willy Neilson called on like hey, So
- 48:22Speaker 1: when Lebron was saying that, I was thinking Williams was
- 48:26Speaker 1: called and they were like it was like, I can't
- 48:31Speaker 1: come through there, but you're gonna have to hide, and Ricky,
- 48:34Speaker 1: I don't hide for anybody who So when Lebron was
- 48:39Speaker 1: saying that, it's like, yeah, there's something that seemed to
- 48:43Speaker 1: based on the personality, like magic, seemed like basically he
- 48:47Speaker 1: could be everybody's friends. But Kobe came off like none,
- 48:54Speaker 1: none of you are my friends. None of y'all my friends,
- 48:56Speaker 1: my teammates, and my kids rebound, get out of here.
- 49:00Speaker 1: What's your name? Boy? My kids ain't my friends. My
- 49:03Speaker 1: parents ain't my friends. No, I don't like myself a
- 49:07Speaker 1: lot during the season. That's kind of how Kobe moved.
- 49:12Speaker 1: But that is a that is a real thing, like
- 49:14Speaker 1: some people, uh real quickly. It took me to about
- 49:18Speaker 1: year nine to get over that, and I remember going
- 49:24Speaker 1: over to Junior say I have a picture in my house.
- 49:27Speaker 1: And I was like, junior, man, let me get a
- 49:30Speaker 1: because I had finally within myself, like, man, you're letting
- 49:33Speaker 1: all these magical moments. You've played against your heroes you
- 49:37Speaker 1: grew up watching, and now you're on the field. But
- 49:40Speaker 1: y'all got so much machiesemo out here that offensive players
- 49:47Speaker 1: only went to talk to offensive player. You don't never
- 49:49Speaker 1: go to talk to the guys that you block. You
- 49:52Speaker 1: just go to the other left tackle or other linemen.
- 49:55Speaker 1: And I said, hey, man, let me get a picture. Man,
- 49:57Speaker 1: you know you know. So we took a picture and
- 50:02Speaker 1: and that was my finally hurt a Well, I was okay, am.
- 50:06Speaker 1: I was a fan. Yeah, I mean I'm up here,
- 50:10Speaker 1: but I was a fan first man before I got here.
- 50:13Speaker 1: Before I got here, I was a fan. I used
- 50:16Speaker 1: to be running around time I say hi, and you
- 50:19Speaker 1: just end up in the same place. Come on, and
- 50:22Speaker 1: then you can excuse me, mister earthquakes sir. We'll be
- 50:25Speaker 1: back going to Sports Jock Show after this.
- 50:39Speaker 9: Don't bowl Wayne Born of the Sports Josh Hill with
- 50:42Speaker 9: Wayne Damn videos.
- 50:43Speaker 1: Coming up next.
- 50:45Speaker 22: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
- 50:47Speaker 22: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 50:51Speaker 22: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 50:54Speaker 22: with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 50:57Speaker 22: pills that resemble prescription medication. Just two milligrams, about the
- 51:02Speaker 22: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 51:05Speaker 22: This isn't an AD to scare you, but it is
- 51:07Speaker 22: an AD to make you think twice. Get the facts.
- 51:10Speaker 22: Go to real Deeal on fentanyl dot com. This message
- 51:13Speaker 22: is brought to you by the AD Council.

- 52:22Speaker 1: Girls said hallelujah.
- 52:24Speaker 3: Girl said you hallelujah because I'm sell bunk.
- 52:27Speaker 1: Don't give it to you.
- 52:28Speaker 5: Because I'm sell bunk.
- 52:29Speaker 1: Don't give it because I'm tempo.
- 52:31Speaker 3: Don't give it to you. Saturn Night means don't believe it?
- 52:35Speaker 1: Just why show?
- 52:43Speaker 3: Don't believe just mine? Don't believe me, just mine? Don't
- 52:53Speaker 3: believe me?
- 52:54Speaker 1: Just what this war shock show up, this sports shop
- 52:57Speaker 1: wing k Indy, uh the macamillion and this is really
- 53:00Speaker 1: for our man, for my mom and for the bad
- 53:05Speaker 1: producer Megan millions. I'm reading are they gonna double in price?
- 53:10Speaker 4: Here?
- 53:11Speaker 1: I'm about to stop pot stop playing anyway. Did y'all
- 53:15Speaker 1: get that they're about the double in price? How much
- 53:17Speaker 1: are they now? Well, depending on how you do, because
- 53:21Speaker 1: you can it's two dollars. But then you can just
- 53:24Speaker 1: just for the basic people here with the three four
- 53:31Speaker 1: picks straight to be five dollars, they about to be
- 53:35Speaker 1: five dollars. Okay, yeah, what date is that comandie?
- 53:40Speaker 8: Uh but just saying soon, yeah, because I read it's
- 53:45Speaker 8: like this story came out Friday.
- 53:49Speaker 1: Add on that other stuff.
- 53:49Speaker 7: Somebody like me, we're paying ten dollars for one ticket,
- 53:52Speaker 7: eight to ten dollars for one ticket because once you
- 53:55Speaker 7: got to add up and the power up and make
- 53:58Speaker 7: sure in one off.
- 53:59Speaker 1: And okay, well they're just saying that whatever the base
- 54:02Speaker 1: ticket is is about to go up. I didn't have
- 54:05Speaker 1: a date when they said it, but they said it
- 54:09Speaker 1: will make But when it gets up to eight hundred million,
- 54:14Speaker 1: I guess that'll go off the board faster. They're gonna
- 54:17Speaker 1: come up some way that somebody wins that well, it's'll
- 54:20Speaker 1: start April fourth.
- 54:22Speaker 7: But okay, so all the big winners that, yeah, but
- 54:27Speaker 7: all the billion winners lately have been out in California
- 54:30Speaker 7: and it's just like where the wildfires.
- 54:32Speaker 1: Man, we got to take care of the wildfire. We
- 54:34Speaker 1: got wildfires in North Carolina right now. We got problems, right,
- 54:36Speaker 1: I'm worried about my well, wait for the wait, you
- 54:38Speaker 1: gotta wait, twin, come on like that. Let me tell
- 54:45Speaker 1: you something. I felt very uh soft saying that twin. Yeah,
- 54:53Speaker 1: how two people two men top to each other. It'd
- 54:57Speaker 1: be strange though, Yeah, yeah, that's yeah. Who says that
- 55:02Speaker 1: women should say that to each other? That shouldn't be
- 55:04Speaker 1: something that just was out there nine twin. Don't be
- 55:07Speaker 1: like that that. We used to have a word like
- 55:09Speaker 1: that in the nineties. Oh my boy, my boy, that's all.
- 55:16Speaker 1: That's all it means is my boy home sliced my home.
- 55:24Speaker 1: He said home slice. I never said homeslice either. That
- 55:28Speaker 1: was corny, dude, what's coming on home slice? That was
- 55:34Speaker 1: the That was your white coworker you invited to the
- 55:36Speaker 1: Barbecue's happen at home slice? Oh Man, Sean Kingston in
- 55:43Speaker 1: some trouble. He does have a new single coming out
- 55:46Speaker 1: with Antonio Brown, so that would have, let you know,
- 55:50Speaker 1: troubles a murder Antonio Brown the Great Stiller at Firefest
- 55:55Speaker 1: too as well. No, I think nothing, sayse Sean gonna
- 55:58Speaker 1: be in jail when I think said I got my
- 56:01Speaker 1: stuff together, like coming back by Antonio Brown. Got a
- 56:05Speaker 1: single with Antonio Brown called Elon Musk. So but right
- 56:12Speaker 1: now Sean Kingston and his mom, Janie Turner were found
- 56:17Speaker 1: guilty and over a million dollars worth of fraud. They're
- 56:23Speaker 1: looking at some time as well. His mom she got
- 56:27Speaker 1: the time she already they won't she's out bond. Yeah,
- 56:31Speaker 1: she tried to take the complete blame, but the court
- 56:37Speaker 1: system was not hearing it, and so she's still actually
- 56:41Speaker 1: locked up. He's waiting for sentencing, which is going to
- 56:44Speaker 1: happen here in a couple of months. But until then
- 56:46Speaker 1: he's going to drop his single Elon Musk with Antonio Brown.
- 56:50Speaker 1: That's an odd person to catch for Sean Kingston. Sean
- 56:54Speaker 1: Kingston used to have a little buzz. What was his
- 56:58Speaker 1: top song? Beautiful one that when we go to break
- 57:05Speaker 1: a little bit of before him he had that. He
- 57:07Speaker 1: had a couple of joint him. But I mean he
- 57:10Speaker 1: had besides the beautiful that part when he had a
- 57:12Speaker 1: couple other hits. But now this is my question, the
- 57:15Speaker 1: only reason I'm bringing this up because in all my time,
- 57:18Speaker 1: you know, some things you've been around, you've been part of,
- 57:22Speaker 1: but you never thought about it fully in this case,
- 57:28Speaker 1: Shawn's mom sixty two, Shawn's like forty. They both end
- 57:32Speaker 1: up in prison, but they can't talk, can they? No, right, No,
- 57:41Speaker 1: felons can't communicate with other fellows. They can't be with it.
- 57:44Speaker 6: So whatever time they have to serve, they can't be
- 57:47Speaker 6: within proximity of other family.
- 57:49Speaker 1: She gets five years and he gets three, and that
- 57:51Speaker 1: three years. They can't speak. Why both incarcerated?
- 57:56Speaker 6: I don't think they can communicate now, not facility to
- 58:02Speaker 6: facility kind of thing like make phone calls, that know,
- 58:06Speaker 6: and and if any of that is allowed, it'll all
- 58:08Speaker 6: be monitored.
- 58:10Speaker 1: And restricted to certain rules and regulations. I do know
- 58:14Speaker 1: that if you're on parole or a released felon, can't
- 58:18Speaker 1: keep company with other felons once you're released. That is
- 58:23Speaker 1: against the law for two felons to be hanging out
- 58:25Speaker 1: for any reason. So if your mama fel in and
- 58:28Speaker 1: you are feeling and you just don't go home a lot, okay,
- 58:32Speaker 1: And I was just when my next level of thinking was,
- 58:36Speaker 1: you know what, They're going to be completely absent of
- 58:39Speaker 1: each other because they won't even be able to communicate.
- 58:43Speaker 1: And you do it, and you do it, but you
- 58:45Speaker 1: be nervous look, man, you got to slow down. But
- 58:49Speaker 1: how would he find a phone number for her? Well,
- 58:52Speaker 1: that that's the thing. If they're both incarcerated, it's but
- 58:56Speaker 1: it looks like both of them are about to get
- 58:57Speaker 1: some type of time, some type of time because the
- 59:01Speaker 1: jury was very unsympathetic to their friends. Yeah, as though
- 59:07Speaker 1: we would be. Yeah, and based on someone comes up here,
- 59:10Speaker 1: it seems like you have a way to make a living, Yeah, Sean,
- 59:15Speaker 1: whether it gives you the amount of money you want,
- 59:19Speaker 1: you could easily go out and make a solid.
- 59:23Speaker 10: Right.
- 59:23Speaker 1: And all the crimes frauding.
- 59:25Speaker 6: People, right, and the crimes they're accused of is based
- 59:28Speaker 6: on his social media profile and his celebrity status. He
- 59:32Speaker 6: would encourage luxury product companies to forward him their products
- 59:37Speaker 6: before he actually paid for them. Once they got the
- 59:39Speaker 6: product to him, there was no payment. There was no
- 59:44Speaker 6: payments on and his mother is asserting that she was
- 59:47Speaker 6: trying to keep people from getting her son's money because
- 59:52Speaker 6: that's all they really wanted.
- 59:53Speaker 1: But I just wanted the money for the car I
- 59:56Speaker 1: sent you. I didn't want just his money. I wanted
- 59:58Speaker 1: to throw money he owed me. We'll be back with

- 1:00:24Speaker 12: Most people out here think that taking care of one
- 1:00:26Speaker 12: another is important, and most people would step up for
- 1:00:30Speaker 12: a neighbor going through a tough time. Most people around
- 1:00:32Speaker 12: here help out friends and family when they need it.
- 1:00:35Speaker 12: But the funny thing is most of us won't look
- 1:00:37Speaker 12: for help when we need it. Talk to someone if

- 1:00:57Speaker 24: two year old and a nine year old on my own.
- 1:01:00Speaker 24: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes, where
- 1:01:03Speaker 24: pride gets in the way and they may want the help,
- 1:01:05Speaker 24: they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
- 1:01:09Speaker 24: with the family support in line, and just with my
- 1:01:12Speaker 24: mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into
- 1:01:16Speaker 24: a positive. I knew I needed more tools in my
- 1:01:19Speaker 24: toolbox to take care of these little girls that just
- 1:01:22Speaker 24: lost their mother. It's time for me to be that
- 1:01:25Speaker 24: father that I knew I could be. I think just
- 1:01:27Speaker 24: being that good role model as well. That model's good
- 1:01:31Speaker 24: behavior in front of them, going to work every day,
- 1:01:34Speaker 24: coming home and being able to put on that smile.

- 1:02:17Speaker 3: You began me up?
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Can you who fank me down?
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: That come to f come to to pet it comes
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: to Mark? Is it just.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna go on the way
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: you make Vegan tell me welcome back to this one
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: shock show. This one shock Wayne Candy, Good morning to you,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: a big war. You go to my Auburn Tigers. Uh
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: making the Final four the second time? In six years,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: second time in Auburn's history that they have made it
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: to the final Ford which will be down in San
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Antonio on Saturday, and then the finals is next a Monday.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: The women's side of the bracket two games here to night.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: TCU taking on Texas USC without Juju Watkins And for
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: you that tried, are trying to bully the young lady
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: that Juju was playing in that game, that was just
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: a Juju failed. A young lady was trying to steal
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: the ball. But I want to say they were playing
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: was it Michigan mississippis Mississippi stafty and it was one
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: of the ladies for Mississippi State getting a lot of
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: death threads and hate mail and it's been going on
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: a lot. And if you watch the play, don't beat
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: those people who were just reacting, go turn on television.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: It was nothing dirty snow undercutting snatch. Juju was taking off.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: She got caught between two Mississippi State players. One of
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: them tried to steal all and she grabbed her knee.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: That was it.
- 1:04:03Speaker 24: That was it.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: But USC, who's still very capable, UH taking on Yukon
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: tonight at nine o'clock to set the bracket that they
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: were being in Tampa. Ucla and South Carolina already are
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: headed that wave, and now we will see what the
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: other side will be in the final four in Tampa,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: which will be Friday, and the finals will be Sunday day,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: right Sunday afternoon in Tampa. Capelin Clark she set a
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: record for most expensive card for a female athlete. All
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: these things are always interesting to mean because it used
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: to be this sense that I need to wait your
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: career out a little. Well, I would imagine her rookie
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: card possibly wait, yeah, but I hold this rookie card
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: until I see what else.
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: You do, like, you know, and because your collectors.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: But I said, you and your third year and your
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: rookie car. Yeah, this is your second year and we're
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: talking about selling your rookie card. All Ain't this still really?
- 1:05:21Speaker 8: I guess it depend on how rare the card actually is.
- 1:05:26Speaker 8: Is with the Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul skeins Uh, there
- 1:05:31Speaker 8: was a one of one or maybe only two of
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: this particular card was made and some ten year old
- 1:05:39Speaker 8: had to pulled the card in a pack, and then
- 1:05:42Speaker 8: the team tried to buy it so they would have
- 1:05:44Speaker 8: the card so it has been on how many of
- 1:05:47Speaker 8: that actual card it is?
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: Well, this just goes with my theme as we're always
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: talking about how quickly however someone gets something, they sell it.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: So the waiting period of seeing what will go on
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: the young the family that was trying to say Winby Jersey,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: but you haven't even let Wemby become the MVP. Everything
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: that you do to get you to accolate makes that
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: more valuable. Was the mindset of how you collected things.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: But people are so quickly to capitalize. Now, yeah, I
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: say a return on there they're selling some Roger Federer.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: I don't know if he was doing it. And you
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: never know people's financial You know what they tell you,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: but you don't know how people are spending their money
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: behind closed doors. But I know I saw some rackets
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: that Roger Federer, and I'm thinking Roger just left. You
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: know what happens to once he gets into the Hall
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: of Fame or ten years from now. It used to
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: be a little more waiting period. It seems like for me,
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: maybe I haven't run, but the sport, it seemed like
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: if I can get a Travis Hunter Rookie car Well,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: I can survive twenty five years that if he makes
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: it to the Hall of Fame. This went from one
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: hundred dollars to ten thousand dollars easy.
- 1:07:12Speaker 7: Well, the most sports built memorability of show with the
- 1:07:14Speaker 7: biggest one is in Atlantic City.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: It just happened that.
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: I mean, it's really has changed from when we were
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: like growing up just buying cards, going in and getting
- 1:07:24Speaker 7: them and then you wait and try to do it.
- 1:07:25Speaker 7: But now everybody's trying to finess. Even like the Ja
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: Morant card his rookie card, because if you get the
- 1:07:33Speaker 7: one that has the young Dolph in the picture of
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: him taking his rookie card, he was in the crowd
- 1:07:39Speaker 7: that night. It's worth a lot of money just because
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: young Dolphins in that rookie card.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: So it's just a lot of things.
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: Like he was saying, it's based on because of the
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: one of that situation and don't don't I don't know.
- 1:07:53Speaker 7: It's like like you said, it used to be us
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: you had to wait and hold on to that card
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: and see what the player was gonna do if it
- 1:07:59Speaker 7: was gonna be of any value.
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: Now we've had a conversation about AI and we've had
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: conversations about not being sore losers, and how much gambling
- 1:08:10Speaker 6: has gotten involved. And we've seen people and entities with
- 1:08:15Speaker 6: platforms manipulate the cost and the offering prices of these cars.
- 1:08:22Speaker 6: Do you think that we're in a error where some
- 1:08:25Speaker 6: of this valuation has been inflated through that process like
- 1:08:31Speaker 6: it hasn't been somehow you've generated like they have the
- 1:08:34Speaker 6: cliquefarms on social media, where social media platforms have started
- 1:08:39Speaker 6: actually incorporating their own technology to make sure that your
- 1:08:43Speaker 6: followers are actual followers because people make money on social
- 1:08:46Speaker 6: media now, and people were paying for followers and basically
- 1:08:50Speaker 6: cheating the system.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: I gotta so I got a.
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: Paid man and game war card where part of his
- 1:08:55Speaker 7: just part of his jersey, and right now that card
- 1:08:58Speaker 7: and when it was a super hit Super Bowl win,
- 1:09:01Speaker 7: that card right now is just only worth for sixty
- 1:09:03Speaker 7: dollars because I check it all the time. But a
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: couple more years down the road it's gonna be worth
- 1:09:08Speaker 7: a little bit more, hopefully. But you know, you got,
- 1:09:10Speaker 7: like I said, it's just I'm with sports jocks. I
- 1:09:14Speaker 7: want to wait and see and where we are, and
- 1:09:17Speaker 7: then you know, and you get these people you give
- 1:09:20Speaker 7: a large amount of money for a card than that
- 1:09:22Speaker 7: person don't paying out the way.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Where and I guess times changed from the sense that
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: people go into everything just to make a quick profit. Yeah,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: that's so, that's what that's what like like what they
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: were saying with the gambling fan, gambling used to be
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: more of something you did in the record, more on
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: recreational mindset, and a lot of people have turned it
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: almost into a job with facts. That's what sports. Yeah
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: it right, even the car player.
- 1:09:54Speaker 7: You got people taking to being card players because when
- 1:09:57Speaker 7: Texas hold oh, I can do this for a living.
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: You know, some of our online listeners, Casey Elder Lamar
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: Hughley Senior said, so betting, sports betting is the new
- 1:10:08Speaker 6: stock market. You know, people used to risk their fortunes
- 1:10:12Speaker 6: in the stock market, Now they do it with the betting.
- 1:10:15Speaker 6: Uncle Charlie says that they're feeling bad in Michigan.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: But good morning, gentlemen. And we also had a comment
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: that when we were.
- 1:10:31Speaker 6: Talking about the AI case, Hughey says, China has a
- 1:10:35Speaker 6: system like that for their social credit system. You can
- 1:10:39Speaker 6: get a negative mark for being sad like and they
- 1:10:42Speaker 6: have facial recognition all over China and if it sees
- 1:10:45Speaker 6: you being a poor citizen. Then those things are put
- 1:10:48Speaker 6: on your permanent record of citizenship, and you might not
- 1:10:52Speaker 6: get credit based on the fact that you seem angry
- 1:10:55Speaker 6: a lot. And this was a story that I had
- 1:10:57Speaker 6: followed from some years ago, and they were concerned learned
- 1:11:00Speaker 6: about the impact of a machine's perception on humans actions.
- 1:11:06Speaker 6: I mean, maybe I'm irritated because I'm stuck in traffic,
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: but all the machine sees is the frown on my
- 1:11:12Speaker 6: face and gives that a bad mark.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Well, and and most likely your next step is that
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: that machine that picture now reads your criminal jacket if
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: you have one. Yeah, and it goes on a higher alert. Yeah, dude,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: look this person. And then it triggers let me see
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: who this person really is. It says it's big Kenny.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: He's already did four years. That's what that BONI was saying. No,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: we ain't got him up up in the big box.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: They was trying to let their third and they ain't
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: come get him.
- 1:11:49Speaker 6: And also, one of the names that we used to
- 1:11:51Speaker 6: say instead of twin uh uh Casey said was a
- 1:11:55Speaker 6: boom coom.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Yeah, he my age boone coon. Also something I never called.
- 1:12:06Speaker 12: My boy.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: I just always hung out with my boy. Hey, my boom, Hey,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: that's it. I just always hung out. Yeah. I never
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: said the ace boom, the boone or the coon. That's
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: my boy. I eat coon, but I never boo. I'm
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: just I'm just your boy, my boy. Yeah, I don't,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: I don't, I don't. I didn't use a lot of
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: I didn't go into the second page of the Green
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: Urban Urban Dictionary like that. I stayed really on on
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: the surface. Okay, you're still my ace Boon coon though.
- 1:12:46Speaker 6: And I didn't do a lot of that because I
- 1:12:49Speaker 6: moved and by the time I had gone to somewhere else,
- 1:12:55Speaker 6: I was seeing that as trying to assimilate.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: I'm not gonna start talking like you talk. I'm just
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: gonna keep on saying what I've always said.
- 1:13:02Speaker 6: So I never moved to another region and my boy
- 1:13:06Speaker 6: became my ace bone and he just stayed my.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Boy, that's my man. Yeah, and like that. I was
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: never yet.
- 1:13:13Speaker 7: I know it's a new one that they're doing up
- 1:13:14Speaker 7: in the instead of colony, my bro, they say, what's
- 1:13:17Speaker 7: up Brett, like you my bread h man. That sounds
- 1:13:21Speaker 7: sexual weird.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: Yeah, that's gonna make it weird weird because I'm gonna
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: think you got me confused with someone with someone out
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: of my name that really was I'm saying that at first,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: with the bread that's a soccer, I wouldn't imagine it
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: be any after this.

- 1:16:11Speaker 1: April foods well, it's like anything else. Greed it to
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: be well. Everything is a prank or something now you
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: see what I'm saying.
- 1:16:24Speaker 8: Everything that's like going, it's not there wasn't really pranks,
- 1:16:30Speaker 8: You're just you're just messing with people.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Well that's what the prank is, messing with people.
- 1:16:34Speaker 8: No, Like, there's one if you're if you're in line
- 1:16:37Speaker 8: at the store and someone comes up and just starts
- 1:16:42Speaker 8: taking things out of your cart, like this is mine,
- 1:16:45Speaker 8: this is mine now, and you react that it's a prank.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: It's a prank, that's right, poor.
- 1:16:53Speaker 7: Or here is my most favorite and then you gonna
- 1:16:59Speaker 7: come and take my stuff out of my basket.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: This is my favorite. Well, this is my favorite prank
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: that I hate. So you just go and go get
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: you some stuff. Start. Let me start over.
- 1:17:12Speaker 6: Well, you and I, You and I are sitting, we're
- 1:17:16Speaker 6: sitting having lunch, and as we're having lunch, the appetizer arrives,
- 1:17:21Speaker 6: and then somebody comes and sits with us and starts
- 1:17:23Speaker 6: sharing our appetizer.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: And when we go, hey, man, what are you doing?
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: They go, oh, no, man, I'm just pranking y'all, and
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: then they walk off.
- 1:17:29Speaker 6: I'm gonna pull They come and they swipe all of
- 1:17:33Speaker 6: the dishes off the table and run And it's because no, man,
- 1:17:36Speaker 6: we're just trying to go viral.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: Well, if somebody, if somebody sent them that knows you.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: These are people that knows what you don't know the
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: person that came and get into the table. But I
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: sent them.
- 1:17:50Speaker 6: No, No, I'm saying, no one sent them. You were
- 1:17:54Speaker 6: just available because you were eating at the time that
- 1:17:57Speaker 6: I was filming, and I just dive.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Well, it would be I guess I would base it
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: on what's on the table as appetizer. If we're just
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: having nachos and you do it, we can laugh. No,
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: you come and grab a crab cake, I'm going so
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: you're basing it on the cost of the menu. He
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: took a sip of your coca cola. That's that's fine.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: But this kettle one was eighteen dollars a shot. We're
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: gonna have to move some furniture about the kettle one. Okay,
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: I see, But that's that's what they call pranks now.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: April Fool.
- 1:18:30Speaker 6: Used to be I would tell you some false information.
- 1:18:32Speaker 6: You would say, are you serious, and I go, no,
- 1:18:34Speaker 6: April Fool. But now they've morphed it into something that
- 1:18:38Speaker 6: really I thought Greg had been No it was part
- 1:18:41Speaker 6: of the band. No, okay, it's still around.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: His people are decided. Yeah, they so indecisive. They don't
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: know what it is anymore. Celine Dion is fifty seven
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: years of age. Hamma, don't hurt them. Hammer mc hammer
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: is sixty three. Pierce Morgan is sixty. Tracy Chapman sixty
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: What happened to Tracy Chapman? She's still around. She's one
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: of those that fights the industry. Okay, but she made
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: a lot of money with the guy covering her song
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: last year. Come back? Okay? Tracy Chapman sixty one. Nora
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Jones is forty six. Richard Sherman, the corn NFL cornerback,
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: thirty seven. Eric Clapton is the Big eight zero row. Wow,
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: it's Eric Clapton. Charlie Weiss, where's he?
- 1:19:32Speaker 5: Not?
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: Officive coordinator, former head coach? Not your dad, he's coaching anywhere, okay,
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: sixty nine years of age. Ian McGregor is fifty four.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: Errold Gore is seventy seven. Shane Biemer, head coach of
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: South Carolina Football. Right, Shane Bamer forty eight years old.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Christopher walking into New York. He's eighty two and for
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: my birthday, I don't want anyone saying that I'm eighty two.
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: Is eighty two years of Frank White, Pascal Sia Coome
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: is thirty. One of the Pacers, Rosalind Sanchez is fifty
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: two years old. The actress Pedro Pascal, who's living his
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: best life. He's in everything, everything, commercials, everything, I mean,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: he's a dog food commercial. Why everything day? Quavo one
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: of the Migos, thirty four. Mark Jackson is sixty. Is
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: Mark Hall of Fame yet the point guard basketball? No, No,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: he hasn't gotten any sixty years old? And the Lopez twins,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: Brook and Robin longtime NBA ballers. One of them is
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: with the Milwaukee Bucks. I'm not sure where the other
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: one's at, but they're thirty seven years old. Rhythm Robin
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: is a free agent free agent, okay, Robin Lopez, uh
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: Big Kenny just.
- 1:21:16Speaker 6: You know as Celine Dion, Trace Chapman, Norah Jones and
- 1:21:20Speaker 6: Roslyn Sanchez.
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: I think God, I'll give you work. I think on
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: this lunez, which means Monday in Spanish. I think may
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: gusta Rosslyn da nada may no bray as grand da Kenny.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: See you know, Kenny, That's all I got. And if
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: that rap don't work for Rosslyn. I don't know what
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: we're gonna do. We just want to, you know, use
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: facial expressions. But yeah, Rosalind Sanchez clon for International Relations
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: on her fifty second birthday. Does you were gonna go
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: with some you know, Tracy Chapman, y'all gonna smoke all
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: night fast call. You know what I'm saying, Well, be
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: anti now see that that that's my thing? Yeah?
- 1:22:11Speaker 6: You you you trying to block the bag. I don't
- 1:22:14Speaker 6: understand that. You fighting the industry that made you wealthy
- 1:22:18Speaker 6: and famous.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: Baby. That seems confusing to me. I seemed like you
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: might go back and forth with me a lot. I
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: don't want that Mark Jackson in the Hall of Fame. No,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: not not the not the Nate Smith one. Okay, well
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: we'll see we can get him in there soon. We'll
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: be back with more of The Sports Jock Show right
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: after this. Buy him a ticket.
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: I guess you want to, I sard you find up with.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: Hi Up, Don't go away?
- 1:23:05Speaker 9: Or of The Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dan videos
- 1:23:08Speaker 9: coming up next.
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: And now let's talk about something exciting. Life insurance.
- 1:23:13Speaker 10: Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical
- 1:23:16Speaker 10: piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually
- 1:23:20Speaker 10: have life insurance.
- 1:23:21Speaker 25: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:23:23Speaker 25: just getting started with our family and thought we live forever.
- 1:23:25Speaker 25: Life insurance was the last thing on my mind.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:23:31Speaker 25: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:23:32Speaker 25: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:23:34Speaker 25: survive without me. That's when I'm in an appointment with
- 1:23:36Speaker 25: the insurance informant.
- 1:23:38Speaker 10: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:23:41Speaker 10: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:23:47Speaker 10: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:23:50Speaker 10: whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
- 1:23:52Speaker 10: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 1:23:55Speaker 10: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:23:58Speaker 10: two options or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:24:03Speaker 10: Log on today, benefits or bills dot Com? That's benefits
- 1:24:07Speaker 10: or bills dot Com?
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: Hurting the game? We tough it out. Feel exhausted, we
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: push on.
- 1:24:16Speaker 15: Feeling down, we pull ourselves up by the bootstraps, but
- 1:24:20Speaker 15: there are times when bootstraps aren't enough, when stress gets
- 1:24:24Speaker 15: to us and we need to talk to someone about
- 1:24:26Speaker 15: what we're really going through. So we're going to reach
- 1:24:29Speaker 15: out because sometimes mental health is not a one person job.
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: Is it Love your Mind Today dot org? That's Love

- 1:24:43Speaker 20: If you build a relationship, then it becomes easier. If
- 1:24:46Speaker 20: you build trust, becomes easier. As a parent, you want
- 1:24:50Speaker 20: what's best for your child, to give them the love
- 1:24:54Speaker 20: of that a child needs.
- 1:24:55Speaker 5: That's probably the best thing you do a for a teenager.

- 1:25:12Speaker 1: And now back to the Sports Job Wayne Gandy.
- 1:25:19Speaker 24: Player's Lounge.
- 1:25:22Speaker 23: We've been given full access to the player's lounge on
- 1:25:25Speaker 23: the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: Wait back to What Shock Show I am The Sports
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: Shock Wing Candy. Good morning to you out there listening.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: N LaMelo Paul is done for the season for Charlotte.
- 1:26:10Speaker 10: Uh.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: He had two surgery. He's going to have two surgeries
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: this week, one on his risk, one on his ankle.
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: Just stands out. I went to see LaMelo play the Hawks.
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: Dynamic player, very talented. He is the most talented of
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: the three brothers. You know, you you hope that that
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: organization maybe finds some late older statesman that they can
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: bring in and kind of help him calm down a
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: little bit and and get his injuries right, because you
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: can really see that he has a he has a
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: game to him. Very talented young man, just needs that.
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: You know, their team has a lot of young guys
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: leading young guys.
- 1:26:58Speaker 14: Right right right.
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: It's a lot be said for experience, and they don't
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: they don't have that that vet and and sometimes you
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: have that vet, but you don't have that vet that
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: they are going to respond respond to. You can see
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: the you can see the difference when you have veterans
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: on the team.
- 1:27:16Speaker 4: UH.
- 1:27:17Speaker 8: Like take it, for instance, the Pistons their playout. They're
- 1:27:21Speaker 8: going to be in the playoffs this year. Last year
- 1:27:23Speaker 8: they had the worst record, but then they added three
- 1:27:25Speaker 8: or four guys who've been in the league ten years
- 1:27:28Speaker 8: and now they're things are different.
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: So it helps.
- 1:27:34Speaker 8: I've always told people like a team like Charlotte they
- 1:27:36Speaker 8: have too many children on the team.
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: Yes, and they have a lot of energy and you
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: can see it. LaMelo, you have bridges, bridges, you have
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: the young kid that was that Alabama's hurt, Brandon Miller.
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: But they just need that veteran and not old. I'm like,
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: still is part of the eight man rotation, right, that's
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: you know, maybe ten years in that they see as
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: someone that they can listen to, a non combative guy.
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: Because when I saw La Mellow, he was like, man,
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: he's dripping with talent. But he does have one of
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: those games where like a Ja Morant, it is high impact.
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: He's always doing stuff that causes him to fall. Those
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: kind of moves. You know, it's real crafted with the ball,
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: but on some of those moves you're gonna get caught
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: where you trip over feet and things like that. Trying
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: to do those moves so good hopefully fast recovery for him.
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: I don't know how long they can keep him there
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: with that kind of talent. Damian Lillard has had to
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: step away. He has a blood clot and similar to
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: Victor women Yama who had to end his season, I'm
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: surprised that Dame Dollar hasn't shut down his season. We
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: start talking about blood clots. We've seen this now. Then
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: you fly in the Flying part and we saw Jerome
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: Kersey used to be with Portland, he passed the away
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: from it. We saw Big Kenny's boy Chris Bosh I
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: have to retire from because they kept fearing that it
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: might move and he couldn't get a medical clearance, clearance
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: play in the NBA. He was willing to waivers and
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: all of that, and they the Big Kenny was like, no,
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: not on my side. I'm just saying I ain't trying
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: to keep you from living your down making your I
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: got John Blaze, I believe you, but you have but
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: you literally will not drag out no album yet, but
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: you won't drop it on this crowd. Literally you will
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: not drop it on this crowd. I'm not signing on that.
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: And when you go down, everybody looking at me. I
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: can't recover from that. And I'm shrugging my shoulders like
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: he's sliming the paper. Because one thing i think sometimes
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: your conscience is with you more than your money. Yes,
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: and no matter how much that money. Like I tell people,
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: if money was the cure all then people with money
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: wouldn't jump off buildings. Yeah, your conscience. So sitting there
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: knowing you signed off on that, no knowing knowing where
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: to lead to you to Costa Rica. You're gonna take
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: that you signed off on that man Costa Rica with you,
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: and you'll be sitting in Costa Rica, like he'll never
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: see this. That's a shame. Yeah. So, but we would
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: see with Dane, especially at this point in his career,
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: which amount of Hall of Famer really just came to
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: Milwaukee hoping to link up with Janna's and get a championship.
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: It hasn't happened so far. You want him to bounce back,
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: so hopefully this is something that keep Now you.
- 1:30:50Speaker 6: Said that it should Dame shut himself down. Is this
- 1:30:54Speaker 6: a Dame decision or should he.
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: Know this was the team? The team? Whatever? This is
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: a medical I'll be I'll be surprised if the league
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: lets him let him back. If it's if it's a
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: true blood clocks, yeah, I would. I would imagine that
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: the powers that be start getting They listed him as indefinitely,
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: which means that we don't have a timetable exactly, and
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: the season is what they got about eight games left
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: in the regular season. Yeah, yeah, we write something like,
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: got like two weeks left.
- 1:31:24Speaker 8: In the regular season if he's if they're going to
- 1:31:27Speaker 8: Milwaukee's in the playoffs right now. But like you said,
- 1:31:30Speaker 8: if Chris Bosh had to retire and when Miyama is
- 1:31:33Speaker 8: shut down for the rest of the season, I don't
- 1:31:36Speaker 8: see Dame coming back at least not this year.
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: Right, Yeah. Yeah. If the San Antonio had to take
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: women Yama and just and he's twenty twenty one years old,
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: they ain't like thirty five seven. Everybody said, man, you
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: need to sit down. Yeah, takes some Dame time. One
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: of the oddest firings I've seen in recent sports history, uh,
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: is the firing of Taylor Jenkins. I know a lot
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: of you don't know Taylor Jenkins. He's the head coach
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: or was the head coach of the Memphis Grizzlies. And
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: it's from the sense, as we just said, there's two
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: weeks left in the season. The Grizzlies are tied for
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: like fourth in the West with the Lakers, and there
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: are two games behind a third position over there a
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: lot of life left, and you fire the coach that
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: has you tied for fourth Big Kenny comancher, Greg Bat
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: producer Hi with eight.
- 1:32:34Speaker 6: Games to go, business of being petty, somebody didn't like
- 1:32:39Speaker 6: something he said or did, or come on now, let's
- 1:32:42Speaker 6: let's let's go with established reality. Were talking about multimillion
- 1:32:45Speaker 6: dollar business. So even if I fire you, you under contract, correct,
- 1:32:49Speaker 6: So I'm gonna have to pay you something, some sort
- 1:32:51Speaker 6: of separation type of bonus or something.
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: I mean, you know you can go and work these
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: lad little three days out cuz Yeah, I'm waiting on
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: something where he said something, there's some kind of somebody
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: called with some kind of assault something from or you
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: wanted me to sign off on something that I'm just
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: not going to do that. I'm still a human being
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: with a chemial Remember the part I said we was tired. Yeah,
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: I know, but you want me to You want me
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: to condone some Lakers though we look like we're about
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: to go, we're going to the playoffs, and you want
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: me to coach this guy who's done something, or you
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: want me to be a part of this that I
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: know is not and I'm going to step away. And
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: the other part of that is wait wait wait now,
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: I said you on the contract. Do you forget that part?
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: You work for me and nah bru So. The general
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: general manager of the organization, Zach Kleiman, says he takes
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: full responsibility. Kind of answering what we were thinking, he says, uh,
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: none of the decision came from a player. Yeah, he
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: said he didn't talk to any players now now, so
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: I don't know if that's saying that you did you didn't.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: But usually when they come out it's the opposite. That's
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: that's that's.
- 1:34:06Speaker 8: That's that's not even had that had it ready to
- 1:34:10Speaker 8: say well. Jahn Morant expressed that he was frustrated like
- 1:34:15Speaker 8: they had that ready to go right right, but that
- 1:34:18Speaker 8: might be wrong.
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: I made the call.
- 1:34:22Speaker 6: I take full responsibility in professional sports is allegedly inmin.
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: That's what that is.
- 1:34:30Speaker 6: That's the allegedly of criminal court. No, bro, Look, we
- 1:34:35Speaker 6: saw would he Johnson do it with with the Jets?
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: He did, he did it. We saw.
- 1:34:44Speaker 6: When they Luca got the trade for Anthony Davis that
- 1:34:48Speaker 6: the man that I ain't talking to nobody, I ain't
- 1:34:51Speaker 6: got to talk to nobody, and now we got this.
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: Dude, Man, I just fired the coach that got everybody
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: from forth with the Lakers because I felt like doing it.
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: I ain't talking about playoffs. Are you believing that, No,
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: something happened, That's what I'm saying. You know you didn't
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: wake up in the side the coach that's been here
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: for five years. I'm good. It has us gone right
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: where we need to be. For all the stuff we've had.
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: People heard, Yeah, dude got guns at strip clubs with
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: their shirts off. We are locked for the playoffs. We're
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: not in the play in yes, and we're two weeks
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: out and you called me talking about meet you in
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: your office in the morning. I'm thinking we breakfast.
- 1:35:38Speaker 8: The report that has come out is that uh Jahn
- 1:35:42Speaker 8: Morant was was frustrated with the offense that they're not
- 1:35:46Speaker 8: running the pick and roll enough. And the offense that

- 1:38:54Speaker 22: It's a powerful opio It often made illegally and commonly
- 1:38:57Speaker 22: mixed with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into

- 1:39:05Speaker 22: the size of a few grains of sand, could potentially

- 1:39:20Speaker 21: And now back to the sports job, Wayne Gandy. It's
- 1:39:44Speaker 21: locks like you can see a sports jaint.
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: I'll sing even Candy, Welcome back to the sports Shock Show.
- 1:39:53Speaker 1: I'm the sports Shock Wayne Gandy. The nineteen ninety four
- 1:40:00Speaker 1: draft was is the draft I was drafted in so
- 1:40:04Speaker 1: long ago. And I bring that up because one of
- 1:40:07Speaker 1: the gentlemen I met uh in the getting ready to
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: sing your bowl to combine and all the things that
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: go along with getting drafted, I met Lashan A. Johnson.
- 1:40:19Speaker 1: He's running back out of Northern Illinois University UH and
- 1:40:24Speaker 1: now he has been charged over what the Department of
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: Justice is calling the largest dog fighting operations they've ever had.
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: They've fed seized over one hundred and ninety dogs, Lashawn
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: Johnson and if you got that many dogs, you got
- 1:40:45Speaker 1: basically a business going. Oh that's that's what they say.
- 1:40:49Speaker 1: This is just me. That's like, no two keyloads for
- 1:40:53Speaker 1: personal you stop all of that. You ain't no use
- 1:40:56Speaker 1: no two keyloads. You got one hundred and ninety dogs.
- 1:40:59Speaker 1: Ain't nobody just a dog lover in the backyard. But
- 1:41:05Speaker 1: he has been charged and y'all did hit the park
- 1:41:10Speaker 1: Comanchi and Baptucer. When I said the d o J,
- 1:41:14Speaker 1: that means it's federal. Now now that means it's done. Yes,
- 1:41:23Speaker 1: that means all this is a done deal. That's what
- 1:41:25Speaker 1: I means. Oh no, it is just Sorry, listen, I'm
- 1:41:28Speaker 1: just an animal lover. When you when you're talking about
- 1:41:31Speaker 1: the law, and all they using is initials. Everybody going
- 1:41:35Speaker 1: to but here's specific stuff has to be spelled. They
- 1:41:41Speaker 1: using initials.
- 1:41:42Speaker 8: No, you're going to If the federal has a ninety
- 1:41:46Speaker 8: five percent conviction rate, the d o J is one
- 1:41:50Speaker 8: hundred and ten percent.
- 1:41:51Speaker 7: I was gonna say that at least ninety nine what
- 1:41:55Speaker 7: the d o J will go. But what what I
- 1:41:57Speaker 7: do and notice they hit you with the you with
- 1:42:00Speaker 7: the dog fighting, You going to jail. Ain't no probation,
- 1:42:04Speaker 7: ain't no time off. You're gonna do six. No, you're
- 1:42:07Speaker 7: doing sixty five.
- 1:42:08Speaker 1: And I would imagine the thing about this whole industry
- 1:42:12Speaker 1: of dog fighting or any of these kind of activities.
- 1:42:15Speaker 1: You're dealing with people that if they are caught, they're
- 1:42:18Speaker 1: gonna tell. And you're not in a You're not in
- 1:42:22Speaker 1: a business where the people that are also in it
- 1:42:26Speaker 1: are necessarily hardened criminal hard. Yeah, there's some hard. I'm
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: not saying that, a few of them. I'm saying, but
- 1:42:35Speaker 1: what you're doing not against humans. People dog fight in
- 1:42:41Speaker 1: the South with me growing up, just because they think
- 1:42:44Speaker 1: it's entertainment. They don't if you ask them to vote.
- 1:42:48Speaker 1: They're just the opposite of Peter. They don't think that
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: it's wrong. These are the same people that hunt, yes
- 1:42:55Speaker 1: and fish, and you know they don't believe that there
- 1:42:59Speaker 1: should be a one season. What you mean, I can
- 1:43:02Speaker 1: only kill two deer property, It's like that you want
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: to give me some jail time because I killed more
- 1:43:12Speaker 1: than twelve points. Oh you know, you weren't supposed to
- 1:43:15Speaker 1: kill the one with twelve points them the ones that
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: look best on the wall. Yeah, but they're a twelve pointer.
- 1:43:21Speaker 1: I was trying to get the thirteen, but I hit
- 1:43:23Speaker 1: the point. I'm sorry, it's more than ten point. No,
- 1:43:26Speaker 1: I'm saying. There are laws like that, right, There's many.
- 1:43:29Speaker 7: Like you can only bag so many for the game Warden.
- 1:43:32Speaker 7: I think in North Carolina it's eight. You get eight
- 1:43:34Speaker 7: for the deer season. Anything after that you have to
- 1:43:37Speaker 7: call somebody and say, hey, can you go?
- 1:43:39Speaker 1: And that's what I'm saying. So those are the same
- 1:43:41Speaker 1: people that fight dogs. They're not necessarily some criminal minded.
- 1:43:46Speaker 1: You know, they got jobs, but they feel still feel
- 1:43:49Speaker 1: like I can make a little money on the side
- 1:43:52Speaker 1: with this big head bullet.
- 1:43:55Speaker 8: It's the first time. This wasn't the first time. He
- 1:43:59Speaker 8: pleaded guilty to charges in two thousand and five. Yeah,
- 1:44:03Speaker 8: that's what I'm saying. He was running this as a business.
- 1:44:05Speaker 8: When you start talking aboute hundred ninety dolls, you start
- 1:44:07Speaker 8: talking about the d o J twenty one indictment counts
- 1:44:12Speaker 8: that he you know, he's broken. He's crossing crossing state lines.
- 1:44:17Speaker 8: And even when Michael vic all those years back, we
- 1:44:20Speaker 8: were talking about it, and I was like, you can
- 1:44:24Speaker 8: tell yourself that there's just one dog fighting ring and
- 1:44:28Speaker 8: now fight dogs and all them little dirt roads you
- 1:44:33Speaker 8: never turn on.
- 1:44:34Speaker 1: Yes, that's what's back there and Oklahoma and all them roads.
- 1:44:39Speaker 1: You scared and all the rest of us scared.
- 1:44:41Speaker 6: Can you be wondering whing people coming from a bunch
- 1:44:44Speaker 6: of people be going back there.
- 1:44:45Speaker 1: That's that's what turn off and following back in that
- 1:44:50Speaker 1: electric car. I'm good and get stuff back then, I'm good.
- 1:44:54Speaker 1: The dirt, the Icago and being like what they doing
- 1:44:57Speaker 1: in that alley back there, them boys just in that
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: alley all day with them cars passing through, running up
- 1:45:03Speaker 1: to the window.
- 1:45:04Speaker 6: Let's go see what they're doing. Now, mind your business.
- 1:45:07Speaker 6: Stay out of alleys and off dirt roads. That's been
- 1:45:10Speaker 6: it's worked for me, sports shop, my entire life. I
- 1:45:14Speaker 6: stay out of alleys in dirt road. But you believe
- 1:45:16Speaker 6: it or not, there are cases. I know we here
- 1:45:18Speaker 6: in this gentleman because he's a former football player NFL.
- 1:45:21Speaker 6: That's why it's made the news. But there are cases
- 1:45:24Speaker 6: on the regular they're busting.
- 1:45:26Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, sir. Let's be clear. The NFL
- 1:45:29Speaker 1: angle has some relevance, but the fact that you have
- 1:45:34Speaker 1: the largest dog fighting ring ever busted by the Department
- 1:45:38Speaker 1: of Justice. This ain't no local this is federal state,
- 1:45:42Speaker 1: the state coast to coast, north, southeast and west. You
- 1:45:46Speaker 1: have the largest in history that we've ever That's what
- 1:45:50Speaker 1: they tracking. The money. These dogs are not only being fought,
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: they're being sold for large amounts of money. The betting
- 1:45:56Speaker 1: that goes into this isn't taxed. That We're talking ten
- 1:46:00Speaker 1: of millions of dollars, and so that's what they're trying
- 1:46:02Speaker 1: to get. The humanity and the cruelty to the dogs
- 1:46:07Speaker 1: is what makes the human element get involved and support
- 1:46:10Speaker 1: them shutting them down one hundred and ninety dogs. Evidence
- 1:46:13Speaker 1: included is electronic devices, also photos of dogs on treadmills.
- 1:46:22Speaker 1: Johnson allegedly bread champion and Grand Champion fighting dogs. He
- 1:46:29Speaker 1: allegedly developed dog fighting bloodlines for years and in some
- 1:46:34Speaker 1: cases decades. So we're talking about champion and Grand champion.
- 1:46:39Speaker 6: Those are dogs that have won champions I think have
- 1:46:43Speaker 6: to win a minimum three fights, is it Grand champions
- 1:46:46Speaker 6: win five? So these are dogs that have a career
- 1:46:50Speaker 6: of neverlu because remember these are fights to the death,
- 1:46:52Speaker 6: and then they breed them with other grand champions and
- 1:46:57Speaker 6: they sell those dogs I know from people who are.
- 1:47:00Speaker 1: Done this for ten thousand dollars a minimum a puppy.
- 1:47:04Speaker 1: I know, yeah, yeah, Shun. I'm sorry, Bro, I mean,
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: and going into this so late in life, at fifty four.
- 1:47:14Speaker 1: But that's all he been. He's been two thousand and five,
- 1:47:16Speaker 1: that's all he been doing. That's all he know. Finn
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: Gold clocking in at GM. I got these, Grand Chad.
- 1:47:24Speaker 1: I'm about just go back to North uh Illinois and
- 1:47:28Speaker 1: coach running backs. But he was in Okla. I thought
- 1:47:30Speaker 1: one of the kings. I go to Illinois, went all
- 1:47:32Speaker 1: that land. I got dogs out there on all that
- 1:47:34Speaker 1: Cornfield land. We'll be back more to sports Jock. Sure
- 1:47:37Speaker 1: after this it's whatever.
- 1:47:39Speaker 16: It's whatever turns club, drink smoke freek body, lie make
- 1:47:49Speaker 16: make go.
- 1:47:49Speaker 1: What's up?
- 1:47:53Speaker 9: John't Boy, Wayne Born of the Sports Johns Hill with

- 1:50:10Speaker 23: It's time for the school board when we put a
- 1:50:13Speaker 23: spin on life and sports and how they intermingle. On
- 1:50:18Speaker 23: the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy, Meet the Flat
- 1:50:39Speaker 23: the Plan Bungle of.
- 1:50:44Speaker 1: The Central Back This one Shock Show. I'm this mort Shock.
- 1:50:49Speaker 1: Wayne gain D of the Running Rebels of u n
- 1:50:54Speaker 1: l v UH possibly the greatest college team ever back
- 1:50:59Speaker 1: in the early nineties. Larry Johnson, Stacy Augman, Anderson Hunt,
- 1:51:04Speaker 1: Greg Anthony and their teammates. They're going to release a
- 1:51:10Speaker 1: new documentary reed called UNLV Kings of Vegas. Can't wait
- 1:51:16Speaker 1: to see that. That team. If you've never saw on
- 1:51:20Speaker 1: one of the more exciting teams, Jerry Tarkenny and the
- 1:51:25Speaker 1: running Rebels that second championship that they lost a lot
- 1:51:32Speaker 1: of clout over there, can't see what they say about that.
- 1:51:34Speaker 1: A lot of people feel like they had to finally
- 1:51:37Speaker 1: pay the piper for all the good life they had
- 1:51:40Speaker 1: been living out there in Vegas. They had to pay
- 1:51:44Speaker 1: the guys finally back. But because the bets on that
- 1:51:47Speaker 1: game was so high and the Rebels were definitely for
- 1:51:51Speaker 1: two years unstoppable Force. I think they lost two games
- 1:51:56Speaker 1: in that whole two years, right, Yeah, something like that,
- 1:52:00Speaker 1: something like that, and then the one game that everybody
- 1:52:03Speaker 1: just knew they was gonna win.
- 1:52:04Speaker 13: It.
- 1:52:06Speaker 1: So happened. Grandmama, Stacey Augmen, I mean, they had everything.
- 1:52:11Speaker 1: Greg Anthony, who's on TNT some of the college games
- 1:52:16Speaker 1: as well. Larry Johnson, Unstoppable Force until that back surgery
- 1:52:22Speaker 1: with Charlotte Stacey Augman. What a great defensive player here
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: with the Hawks. He was out there. And Andrews Hunt
- 1:52:31Speaker 1: was just a steady outside jump shooter. He could knock
- 1:52:35Speaker 1: it down from the outside. So I can't wait to
- 1:52:39Speaker 1: see that documentary on them. Female track and field, The
- 1:52:46Speaker 1: World Athletic Commission, the governing body of international track and
- 1:52:50Speaker 1: field events, announced last week it would introduce d n
- 1:52:54Speaker 1: A testing to confirm the eligibility of women competitors in
- 1:53:00Speaker 1: future events. Guys, they're moving all the way up Comanche
- 1:53:05Speaker 1: to d n A. Forget you know you're in tests.
- 1:53:10Speaker 1: My name is Seanna. Yeah, let me get some blood
- 1:53:19Speaker 1: code for something else. Open, let me take this something
- 1:53:23Speaker 1: that code for something else. So you know it's gonna
- 1:53:26Speaker 1: be some backlash to this, but right now they have
- 1:53:30Speaker 1: put the International Track and Field they're gonna blood test
- 1:53:34Speaker 1: basically now if to make sure that you are a
- 1:53:37Speaker 1: female and if and.
- 1:53:39Speaker 6: If you are against that, is that to say that
- 1:53:42Speaker 6: you are trying to get around the rules and regulation
- 1:53:45Speaker 6: of the sport.
- 1:53:48Speaker 1: I guess that's just addressing that at this point, from
- 1:53:51Speaker 1: when you're talking about an international world you don't know who,
- 1:53:56Speaker 1: when and how it used to be some things, especially
- 1:54:00Speaker 1: for as changing yourself, used to be something more that
- 1:54:06Speaker 1: you did as an adult. Yes, you know, even from
- 1:54:10Speaker 1: simple things like nose jobs or breast and plants and things.
- 1:54:15Speaker 1: Those used to be something that and as a whole,
- 1:54:20Speaker 1: something you did more when you were twenty four twenty five.
- 1:54:24Speaker 1: You can pay for it yourself. Now you have twelve thirteen,
- 1:54:27Speaker 1: you have parents that as long as the parents agree,
- 1:54:32Speaker 1: you can do things at ages.
- 1:54:34Speaker 7: Now that based on where you're at, nobody would ever
- 1:54:38Speaker 7: know that's true, you know, but there's no record. You decide,
- 1:54:45Speaker 7: you know, I want to be a little girl, and
- 1:54:50Speaker 7: by the time you're eighteen, your national women's swimming championship,
- 1:54:57Speaker 7: so you know, something like that. So so we've seen it,
- 1:55:02Speaker 7: and I would imagine that for the athletes. I think
- 1:55:05Speaker 7: about Sema Carter, they I think it's the Ethiopian athlete
- 1:55:10Speaker 7: that they were having issues saying she had too much
- 1:55:13Speaker 7: testosterone in her casta I'm sorry, casta sea in her
- 1:55:20Speaker 7: urine or samples. DNA would have a different level of
- 1:55:27Speaker 7: accountability in scrutiny and accuracy is the word I'm looking
- 1:55:31Speaker 7: for when identifying people.
- 1:55:33Speaker 1: So you'll see how this turns out the Guardian writer
- 1:55:37Speaker 1: Elin Thomas terrible article. It's just that you know how
- 1:55:45Speaker 1: people mind's working. Is we just in the media, we've
- 1:55:48Speaker 1: we've gotten dark, like we would just write anything. Wrote
- 1:55:51Speaker 1: an article at the Page Becker's of Yukon scored at
- 1:55:54Speaker 1: forty that she needs a black villain. She's not as
- 1:56:00Speaker 1: popular as Caitlin Clark because she doesn't have a black
- 1:56:04Speaker 1: villain to create controversy Pagebreckers, as a freshman, won the
- 1:56:12Speaker 1: National Player of the Year. She's shown tremendous fortitude, has
- 1:56:18Speaker 1: come back from like two different ACL surgeries. She's positioned
- 1:56:23Speaker 1: herself in Yukon tonight to take on USC possibly go
- 1:56:27Speaker 1: to the final four. She's sitting on the precipice of
- 1:56:31Speaker 1: possibly being the first pick of the w NBA draft.
- 1:56:36Speaker 1: She has all the accolades that you would want as
- 1:56:40Speaker 1: a player, and it's just for you to make it
- 1:56:42Speaker 1: seem like you need a black villain. And he's sing
- 1:56:48Speaker 1: black in the color of skin too. Not in the
- 1:56:51Speaker 1: idea now now, I would assert that for someone to
- 1:56:59Speaker 1: release an article like that and he's what platform uh
- 1:57:02Speaker 1: The Guardian? The Guardian, okay, that.
- 1:57:07Speaker 6: Is by established the reality the kind of thing that
- 1:57:11Speaker 6: you say, number one, knowing you about to get fired,
- 1:57:15Speaker 6: and number two, knowing that the people you say in
- 1:57:17Speaker 6: this to one hundred percent agree with you.
- 1:57:20Speaker 1: That's the only reason this would fly. This is what
- 1:57:23Speaker 1: we want you to put out because this will be
- 1:57:26Speaker 1: the clickbait that draws them to us, because a lot
- 1:57:28Speaker 1: of people feel like this, and a lot of people
- 1:57:31Speaker 1: were mad about the fact that Caitlyn Clark got all
- 1:57:33Speaker 1: of that.
- 1:57:35Speaker 6: Coverage anyway, when if she'd have been a black girl.
- 1:57:38Speaker 6: And that's what they're feeding on. They're feeding that meat
- 1:57:42Speaker 6: to the beast that eats it exclusively, because.
- 1:57:46Speaker 1: Otherwise, why not fire this person? Wouldn't that be the
- 1:57:50Speaker 1: kind of thing that this kind of stuff getting people
- 1:57:52Speaker 1: fired and black ball from future jobs. We've seen it happen,
- 1:57:57Speaker 1: So for you to be putting this out there, then
- 1:58:00Speaker 1: these are the people that you're trying to entice. And
- 1:58:03Speaker 1: it's working. It's working because so many people are stuck
- 1:58:08Speaker 1: in that vein and we are a notion. The truth
- 1:58:13Speaker 1: is he will throw you to the ocean.
- 1:58:16Speaker 23: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports Jut
- 1:58:19Speaker 23: Show with Wayne Kenny.
- 1:58:50Speaker 1: When here the tide the ocean gives a swatch out

- 1:59:12Speaker 1: final full Big War Eagle. Once again to my Auburn
- 1:59:15Speaker 1: Tigers for making the final four. Jenni Broome, we hope
- 1:59:20Speaker 1: you can recover very quickly with that elbow injury. If
- 1:59:24Speaker 1: you missed any of today's show, you can go to
- 1:59:26Speaker 1: Apple podcasts, Amazon Podcasts, audiblel dzer iHeartRadio, or Spotify and
- 1:59:34Speaker 1: catch the replay. Now. Typically, just for performing at a
- 1:59:40Speaker 1: Diddy party, I could throw you in ocean, now that
- 1:59:45Speaker 1: we know what kind of party take that was thrown.
- 1:59:51Speaker 1: But not just because you performed at a p Diddy
- 1:59:55Speaker 1: birthday party, but because Marvin's sup decide the lock the
- 2:00:01Speaker 1: church and demand money. I call it preaching for profit.
- 2:00:09Speaker 1: The Babba Due will call it worship service. Yes, sir,
- 2:00:12Speaker 1: I call it kidnapping eleven hundred, eleven hundred people in
- 2:00:19Speaker 1: the church and past. The Marvin South decided he needed
- 2:00:23Speaker 1: more money. So he told the ushers the lock and
- 2:00:27Speaker 1: guard the doors until he got forty thousand thoullars. That
- 2:00:33Speaker 1: sounded like ransom babba duices, don't put that thing up.
- 2:00:38Speaker 1: I'm doing luck, take that, Take that, Take that. That's
- 2:00:43Speaker 1: what y'all gonna do. Marvin Saup, Come on, bro walk
- 2:00:47Speaker 1: I like now man the Penecostal Assembly of the World convention,
- 2:01:05Speaker 1: which means y'all aren't connected with nobody. So you got
- 2:01:08Speaker 1: that many when you got that many words in the church,
- 2:01:10Speaker 1: he's what's y'all, I'm telling you that it's not even
- 2:01:12Speaker 1: a church. My cousins made that. I've been telling you.
- 2:01:15Speaker 1: My cousin and my homeboy tried that in the eighties.
- 2:01:17Speaker 1: Hey locked the door. Did we get forty thousand dollars?
- 2:01:20Speaker 1: They still in prison. They're still in prison. The Philocosta
- 2:01:24Speaker 1: Assemblies of the worlds. You've never been to church.
- 2:01:29Speaker 7: When the pastor say this ain't enough, A bunch of
- 2:01:32Speaker 7: church people like, what's the doors?
- 2:01:34Speaker 1: You ain't never when they say that let's get a
- 2:01:37Speaker 1: little bit more, we a little short. I guess Jim
- 2:01:40Speaker 1: Jones is the reason why come children come on children
- 2:01:45Speaker 1: from the sports Shock show me hope you enjoyed. And
- 2:01:48Speaker 1: they used to talk about revennight. See it's the nil
- 2:01:53Speaker 1: of preaching
