- 0:55[SPEAKER_03]: in Cleveland this year.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_03]: So it's an exciting time.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_03]: I know like Kenny Mack.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_03]: He's going to be up there.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_03]: A whole bunch of people from the dog pack.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_03]: They'll be around the area, the stadium, all that for the game.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I got a message here.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_03]: Got a little segment from Kenny Mack coming up shortly in the show.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_03]: We got some voicemails, some messages.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_03]: All kinds of good stuff.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_03]: Joint practice happened today.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_03]: Between the Browns and the Bill.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll go through the notes and information that came out of
- 1:24[SPEAKER_03]: good stuff and some not good stuff, some really not good stuff.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_03]: But we'll get into it.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_03]: We'll get into if you guys have been following the news, you probably have an idea of what I am alluding to.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_03]: But make sure you guys go to join the dogs.com if you want to get into our dog pack to the private discord and everything for this season.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_03]: That is the place to be.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_03]: We say it's the place to be on game day, but honestly it's just the place to be all week long because
- 1:48[SPEAKER_03]: the conversation just doesn't just stop after the game is over.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_03]: There's and you know, people are in their break and down all 22 on Monday and Tuesday and talking about what we should do on the upcoming game and making a move for this player.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_03]: That there's fantasy football conversations going on in there.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_03]: There's a channel for that.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_03]: All that kind of stuff.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_03]: There's food and just it's awesome.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_03]: Tailgating stuff.

- 2:10[SPEAKER_03]: Make sure you guys get in there if you want to hang out and be part of our dog pack community.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_03]: All right, before we talk about joint practice today with the bills, let's kick things over real quick, voicemail here from Jersey Justin.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_02]: Jersey Justin, chime in in here, cruising the shore, just listen to the game reaction, podcast, just want a chime in here real quick, give everyone some hope, everyone still keep those wrists up.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_02]: You know, you can't take this game, we just watched and immediately,
- 2:38[SPEAKER_02]: change and think that your opinion changed of what could have actually start once actual week one regular season starts.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's absolutely ass nine after one preseason game.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_02]: A couple things I want to know that our our big is for one Shidorah Sanders footwork.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_02]: I thought looked a lot better and I'll take that over at the Shonwats and that seems to have a arm that's throwing a little bit better.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_02]: Secondly, Fano played great.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_02]: That made me feel really good.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad we drafted him.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to be a lock And something else to not forget shit or Sanders, whether you want to say it or not, still got thrown in mid game So let's see how he does this game coming up and let's go Browns
- 3:24[SPEAKER_03]: All right, Justin, thanks for the voice note.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, I said that last week too.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_03]: I thought it was very noticeable.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_03]: The improvement in Shidorah Sanders' footwork from last season to his first time on an NFL field against an opposing team this year.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_03]: All right, it was clear as data me.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_03]: Like this guy has been absolutely working on his footwork, his mechanics.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_03]: He looked way more comfortable in the pocket.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_03]: you know, when there was pressure, he stepped up.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't see him appear to panic at any point.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_03]: So it was good signs.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_03]: And again, that's kind of goes back to what we saw last year during the season when Shador was starting games.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_03]: You know, there would be, you know, uh,
- 4:04[SPEAKER_03]: What do you want to call it?
- 4:04[SPEAKER_03]: Worts or whatever, you know, for a certain area of his game, and then the next week, whatever that was, the previous week, would look better.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_03]: And you could tell like, okay, he works on, he watches the tape and he sees what did I do wrong or poorly in this last game.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_03]: and he focuses on it and he works on it and it's just tough.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_03]: It's kind of like a golf swing.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_03]: You can't work on everything at once, which unfortunately is just true.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_03]: You know, if you try to change your grip and your stance and your, you know, the house straight is your back and your knees and where you're watching your head a lot, all this, you try to change everything at once.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_03]: You guys know if you play golf before.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_03]: It, it done work.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_03]: So,
- 4:39[SPEAKER_03]: I've been impressed with Shidorah Sanders working on and focusing on certain things to get better each week, each game that he plays and again, I just saw it last week in the preseason game and I'm excited for this Saturday against the bills to see how he looks as the starter because again, I do think there's a difference between starting and a football game and coming in cold after half time.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_03]: Now I'm not trying to make excuses for why he didn't outshine
- 5:08[SPEAKER_03]: But come on, if you've ever played football or watched these, you know, this game, that's just reality, it just is what it is.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_03]: Something else you said in their Justin Spencer Fano, we can kind of move into today's training camp, joint practice session between the Browns and the Bills, Spencer Fano,
- 5:27[SPEAKER_03]: was locked down.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_03]: In the preseason game against the bears, he looked great, and by all accounts today at practice, same thing against the bill starters.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm telling you, going against the Brown's defensive line and Jared verse specifically for the entirety here of training camp has been Hugh Juh.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_03]: I can't emphasize it enough.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_03]: Huge for Spencer Fondo.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, this guy has been put through the ringer every single day by one of the best past wrestlers.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_03]: He didn't care what anybody says about all Jared versus at Miles Gert.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_03]: We know he's not Miles Gert.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't change the fact that he's one of the best past wrestlers in terms of generating pressure on the quarterback in the NFL for the last two years.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_03]: He's one of the best.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_03]: Spencer Fano gets to deal with that every day and I think it's prepared him very, very well for what he's going up against here against these, you know, these starters on these, well, I guess it wasn't the starters against the bears, but still, you know, they're, they're second team their rotational guys and then the starters today for the bills.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_03]: And from what I was reading, from what I saw, it seems like the offensive line, the starting offensive line, did very, very well today against the bill starting defensive front.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_03]: You had Spencer Fano, Zion, Johnson, Elton, Jenkins, Tevin, Jenkins, and Titus Howard.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_03]: They were creating some run lanes.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_03]: They were creating, you know, past protecting very well, giving the quarterback time to drop back, diagnose, go through progressions, make the right read, hit their man like,
- 7:00[SPEAKER_03]: Overall, I mean, obviously you're not going to win 100% of your reps in anything, but I think overall the offensive lines show today that they are heading in the right direction.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_03]: They what I've been begging for so much is just freaking figure out who the five are.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_03]: Number one.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_03]: It's impossible to give your starting five time and reps an opportunity to gel together.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_03]: If you don't even know who the five are, if it's going to be ten Jenkins at right guard and you're going to keep Elton Jenkins at center, then just do it.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_03]: Just do it, let these guys gel, let them work together, let them create the chemistry and rapport.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_03]: so that we can not go into week one, looking stupid, is what I was what I'm kind of been worried about.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_03]: But today was a good step for for the offensive line, so that makes me feel a little better.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_03]: I take a sigh of relief, a deep breath on the offensive line struggles that we have been seeing in camp.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_03]: And I do think that the Brown's defensive line is probably want to still want of the better defensive fronts in the league.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_03]: Now, that being said, the terminology there, unfortunately, may end up being was one of the better defensive fronts in the league.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_03]: Defensive end Alex Wright, yeah, he got carded off today with a left ankle injury.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_03]: saw some speculation people saying hope it's not like an ACL which it looked like it was more of an ankle injury from what I was watching and reading so I guess it you know you have fear some sort of an Achilles that I don't know broken ankle I don't know what could maybe it was just like a high ankle sprain that would be fantastic again you know guys get carded off for pretty much anything during camp I don't know like I said this I did this with a Zack
- 8:49[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, he was on the furthest field.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_03]: You could possibly get Zack Zinner was from the facility.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_03]: So if he even twisted his ankle a little bit, they're not gonna make him walk three fields down to get to the, no, they're gonna give him a ride down and not make that ankle any worse.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm hoping it was just he rolled the ankle, sprained it, high ankle, sprained at the absolute worse.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_03]: I just hope and pray it's not a season ender, but we'll get more information on Alex right.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_03]: Make sure you guys follow us on socials.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_03]: Probably put out a short video about whether it's a good reporter or bad report.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure we'll find out tomorrow or Saturday about Alex right.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_03]: But just want to let you guys know that happened.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_03]: The defensive line, the depth is bad, depth is rough, and we'll see this on Saturday against the bills.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_03]: We gotta find who's going to be the next guy's in that rotation because
- 9:43[SPEAKER_03]: Without Alex Wright, you know, Isaiah McGuire's like, okay, that's like our top rotational guy to come in.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_03]: Well, he would be your other starter in that situation, which means your top rotational guys would be like UDFA's, Cortes Snyder, Logan Fano, I don't even know who else we have honestly right now at the edge position, other than some guys that who'd we sign the other day, Jamil Mohammed?
- 10:08[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_03]: We're just, they're just signing guys and bringing them in and saying, if you can do something, get on it, otherwise we're gonna cut you and put somebody else on it, like we gotta find people who can play and we gotta find them now.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_03]: We freaking season starts in a little over three weeks.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_03]: So we have got to figure this thing out on the defensive line, the interior, has been dealing with injuries to damn near everybody, all all camp.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_03]: And now the edge positions get in hit, we've been trying to find a veteran to come in and be that fourth guy.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's just,
- 10:37[SPEAKER_03]: the depth concerns me, the depth concern me.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_03]: They said it was so bad today, depth wise on the edge for the first team.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_03]: And remember, the defensive tackle, the interior guys are thin as well.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_03]: My call junior was playing the other edge rusher, the other end opposite of Jared versus today.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, oh my goodness.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_03]: we need help.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_03]: We desperately need help.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_03]: But let's just go through a couple of these notes.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I guess another thing we're quick.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_03]: I'll mention Quinn Sean Jenkins was not a practice again today.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_03]: So he was not a practice yesterday and everybody's like, well, we don't really know what's going on.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_03]: There was no information there.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_03]: And then it kind of came out today that he missed yesterday because he was dealing with a minor thing.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_03]: We, I have no idea what that could be.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_03]: Um, hopefully it really is just a minor thing.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_03]: Nothing serious, but he did not practice today against the bills.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_03]: So it was Dylan Samson, RB1, and he looked good.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_03]: He had some nice big runs today where he Sanders had a big run on a cutback, which that thing was dead in the water, but I don't know how much of that would have actually happened in a real game.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_03]: I'd have to go watch the play over again, but
- 11:41[SPEAKER_03]: Dylan Samson look good again the line creating space creating opportunities for him and he was taking advantage of duty he's super fast like he's he's a very speedy back and I'm glad to see him being more utilized in this Todd Munkin offense I just could not handle it last year I was killing me every week like just think you're out of way to use this kid he's he's extremely talented please just find a way to get him on the field and get the ball to his hands and I'm hoping Todd Munkin and crew can do that this year
- 12:10[SPEAKER_03]: let's see what else from today.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_03]: I guess we can dive into the quarterback conversation.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so Deshawn Watson should or Sanders.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_03]: They did split reps today.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_03]: For the first part of practice, it sounded like Deshawn was taking all the first team reps, and then Shador was taking, or no, I'm not all.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_03]: I misspoke.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_03]: Deshawn Watson was taking only first team reps, while Shador Sanders was taking first and splitting some second team work with Dylan Gabriel.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_03]: And it's like,
- 12:39[SPEAKER_03]: not surprised.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_03]: But then his practice went on.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_03]: Dishon Watson was also split in some second team work with Dylan Gabor, while Shador worked with the one.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_03]: So it really did seem like a pretty 50, 50, even split today between the two quarterbacks.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_03]: If you look at the QB tracker from me as being Cleveland, I think Dishon Watson had 17 pass attempts today and Shador Sanders had 23.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_03]: Now as far as total reps go, I don't know how many,
- 13:05[SPEAKER_03]: reps in terms of like hand-offs or anything like that.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_03]: It plays that got blown dead for penalty, or call back for penalty, whatever.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know the exact number, but I do know based on the tracker, Shador did have more pass attempts, officially than to Sean today.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_03]: But we know Shador is going to start on Saturday.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_03]: Todd Munkin did say that they are going to rest all of their older starters.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_03]: For me, I would imagine, okay?
- 13:38[SPEAKER_03]: So if we're just talking about the game.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_03]: I would imagine that Spencer Fano starts the game as the left tackle and you will probably have, I would imagine the rest of your lines gonna be the second string.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_03]: That would be my guess.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_03]: And then I think Casey Boston, I would imagine those to start the game.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_03]: how long they play, Fano, Casey, and Boston.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_03]: My bet would be two drives.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe two drives.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_03]: We'll see.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_03]: I know they like to get these guys reps like to get them work, but we also need to keep them healthy.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_03]: So there's like that balancing act every free season.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_03]: That's what we do.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_03]: It's just the way it goes.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_03]: So be prepared for that.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_03]: I do think it's going to be majority second string guy starting that game with Shidorah on offense on Saturday with a couple of these younger starters sprinkled in.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_03]: but they won't play for very long.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_03]: They're definitely not playing the entire first half.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_03]: I would be shocked.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_03]: So, there's that.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_03]: We are Goose!
- 14:49[SPEAKER_03]: This episode is sponsored by Kaoshi.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_03]: All right, Browns Vand, you know, we've all messed around with the sports books before, right?
- 14:55[SPEAKER_03]: And let's be honest, you're always kind of playing against the house.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_03]: But with Kaoshi, it's different.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_03]: You're not betting against some sports book.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_03]: You're trading against other real world people.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_03]: There's no house trying to beat you.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_03]: Kaoshi just runs the marketplace.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_03]: So if you think the public is wrong and the Browns can make the playoffs in Todd Munkins first year, or Casey Concepcion, Denzel Boston, one of those guys can win offensive rookie of the year, you can take the other side of the market and then if you're right, that's a big payout for you.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_03]: And it's not just sports either, you can trade on other real-world stuff, interest rates, inflation, even wild weather outcomes.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_03]: It works like this, simple yes or no markets, your risk is capped up front and your payout is locked in.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_03]: So, if you trust your takes and instincts, and I know you guys do, go check out Cowshin and see what markets are live right now.

- 16:38[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, so quick overview.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_03]: Today, quarterback to Sean Watson, he connected downfield.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_03]: This was surprising to me.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_03]: Deep downfield targets to KC conception over the middle of the field.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_03]: Nonetheless, twice, the first one, KC came down with the passing traffic, the second one.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_03]: He caught it on the move and got some nice yak after the catch.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if it would have gone for a touchdown but he definitely picked up some more yards even after that catch.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_03]: So,
- 17:03[SPEAKER_03]: Deshawn Watts and pushing the ball down the field against the bill starters.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_03]: That's encouraging.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_03]: And I think we just need to talk and have a conversation here like, you guys know, I don't want Deshawn Watts in the start.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_03]: I don't want to watch her many more.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_03]: He's not the future.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_03]: I don't care.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I don't need to see him.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_03]: But if they're going to start him week one, which I believe they are,
- 17:26[SPEAKER_03]: Then I want them to play well because I don't want to sit down and waste three hours on my Sunday every week to watch us suck, you know, like this is no fun.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_03]: So I want to win, I want to be competitive and seeing Deshawn Watson throw the bow down field successfully, which has not been the case for in recent years.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_03]: that he can do that.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_03]: And that's a good sign today.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_03]: But it wasn't all roses for Deshawn Watts.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_03]: And I was watching a lot of these compilation videos, you know, 111 sessions and stuff from camp.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_03]: And he'd have a nice throw like the throw down field to Casey or something over the middle to, you know, Judy or whoever.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_03]: just like it is with the Sean Watson, here's the ride.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_03]: Nice pass, stinker pass, stinker pass, panic run into a sack.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_03]: It's just, that's just, that's the story with the Sean Watson and there's no consistency with him.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, every practice, there's exact Jackson's been saying this from the beginning.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he makes some really nice throws.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_03]: But in between those nice throws are some really bad plays.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_03]: And you're not going to win many football games on a couple nice throws and a bunch of bad plays.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_03]: Just my feeling on it.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_03]: So they were down in the red zone, doing some red zone, 11 on 11 work, team drills, and Watson through another interception down there.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_03]: I think at first I watched the clip and I'm like, who and God's name was he throwing to?
- 19:09[SPEAKER_03]: Like, the one, the first angle that came out made it look like there's maybe three bills defenders in this shot, no browns receivers at all.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_03]: Like, who are you throwing to, man?
- 19:23[SPEAKER_03]: But I think I think it was Isaiah Bond was running a slant on the back toward the end zone and to Sean Watson just did not see the underneath defender.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that he threw it right to him.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_03]: It we've seen this going back to 2022.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_03]: The first game to Sean Watson ever played with the Browns.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_03]: I can see Houston Texans.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_03]: He did this.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he thought he had somebody wide open in the end zone.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_03]: And just did not see the underneath the fender and it was just like through it right to the guy.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_03]: He's done that multi you can go back and watch any low light real you want to and Sean Watson and Cleveland you will see all of those passes where he gets picked off.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_03]: And it looks like he doesn't even know if there's a Browns receiver anywhere because the pass is that
- 20:05[SPEAKER_03]: easily intercepted.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_03]: He just does not see these guys.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_03]: So it's worrisome that not only is he's leading clearly leading in interceptions throughout camp, he has 11, so far that's 12 if you count today.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_03]: So not only is he throwing picks to us, he's throwing picks to
- 20:24[SPEAKER_03]: the bills and practice down in the red zone.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_03]: And that came after he had just overthrown a wide open Harold fan and junior in the end zone.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_03]: So the red zone work was not good for the Sean Watson today.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_03]: So again, up and down, good and bad, it's always a mixed bag.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_03]: with the Sean Watson.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_03]: So going over to Shador Sanders then today, things started out a little bit and we'll, you know, how's this practice really going for him?
- 20:50[SPEAKER_03]: Because apparently the big, the big post on social media bills defender was yelling that it was checked down city when Shador Sanders was running the offense today.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_03]: I think in the first set of team's rules, he had like multiple.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_03]: hand off some short throws.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if there's a couple of screens in there.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_03]: So not not anything downfield to open up practice for Shidorah Sanders.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_03]: But later on, that change, there was a series where Shidorah Sanders, I think the sequence was the first play he drew the bills off sides, which, hey, there you go.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_03]: There you go, Tony Grossy, there's your cadence stuff.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_03]: He got them the jump off sides.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_03]: And then I believe he threw a deep pass down the sideline to Isaiah Bond, which was not completed, but drew defensive pass interference, another great outcome for the play.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_03]: And then the next play hits Malachi Corley for a big gain over the middle, and
- 21:44[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, if you look at the ESPN tracker again, you know, put whatever stock you want into, I post it every day, just so people have something to comment on and because people want to know what the numbers were, okay, let's just call it it, people want to know, I mean, if you want to take it serious, you can, if you take it with a grain of salt, cool, like I don't do what you will, I'm just giving you the information, but.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_03]: The tracker will tell you that Shador Sanders did not throw any touchdowns today.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_03]: I will tell you, and if you go watch the clip, you guys can debate with me if you think yes or no, but that throw to Malachi Corley was definitely a touchdown, like the no doubt in my mind.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_03]: He turned it up field immediately, and I think he was only like 10 yards from the end zone anyhow, and the defenders weren't even going to try to chase him down, because he was gone.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_03]: He was gone.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_03]: So that didn't get counted as a touchdown for Shador, but I believe it should
- 22:31[SPEAKER_03]: After that, he had like another nice throw to Denzel Bosch on the sideline, he had a, again, it wasn't like a big highlight play, but I saw him throw a nice green pass to Casey conception, which Todd Munkin is going to use Casey conception, he's replicating Zay flowers from Baltimore right here in Cleveland, and that should get you so freaking excited because Zay flowers in Baltimore with Todd Munkin was awesome, awesome.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_03]: And in my opinion, concept zone is, well, he's not only as he bigger and stronger than Z-flowers, Z-flowers little dude, okay?
- 23:11[SPEAKER_03]: He's like five, nine, 180.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_03]: And what's KC's, five, 11, 200, something like that, somewhere in that area.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_03]: Not only is he bigger than Z-flowers.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_03]: I think he's more talented.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_03]: I think he's better.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_03]: Todd Munkin, you guys can tell me what you think in the comments.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_03]: Todd Munkin was able to do what he did, was they flowers and Baltimore.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_03]: I'm very excited to see what he does with KC concepts you own here in Cleveland.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_03]: So let's see, a couple other notes from today.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just gonna go through some of these.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just kinda scrolling on my notes here.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_03]: I've already mentioned a lot of this stuff to you guys.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_03]: And then I'm gonna get to Kenny Mac segment.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_03]: First team defense today for the Browns.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_03]: They did start out very strong against the Bill's offense.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_03]: I saw Rochash Allen in the first, I think was the first team session in 111.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_03]: Rochash Allen only completed one downfield throw.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_03]: The Browns run defense was stout.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_03]: At some point, I don't know when it was.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_03]: There was like a fumble on a handoff and the Browns recovered it from James Cook.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_03]: Forcing some turnovers jumping on the ball, locking it down Denzo Ward Tyson Campbell practiced in the 14 drills a day.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_03]: Again, Tyson Campbell's been limited Denzo Ward's either been practicing not practicing, just trying to mate, you know, run maintenance.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_03]: on these guys because God forbid you lose one of them, you're screwed because we have no cornerbacks either on this defense.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_03]: Again, going back to the depth is just atrocious, but good to see Ward Campbell out there working.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_03]: I saw like Campbell had a good pass break up at one point.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_03]: Denzel Ward, I believe, was just locked down corner like typical all day.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think Josh Allen completed anything going in his direction.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_03]: Let me know if you guys saw something different, but I didn't see anything.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_03]: We're Denzel Ward gave up a completion today.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_03]: The rest of the secondary, you know, I think as the day went on, obviously, you're going against the best quarterback in the league, probably Josh Allen.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_03]: So there was one drill was called a move the ball period.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_03]: Josh Allen, they said he was just surgical, just boom, boom, boom, they said the ball barely hit the ground during that drill.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_03]: And then there was the two minute drive.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_03]: where Josh Allen, there was a communication breakdown on the back end of the defense and don't incandcade, the tight end for the bills was just wide ass open, down the field.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_03]: For a touchdown, I don't know what happened there, but woof.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_03]: That one didn't look so good.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_03]: By the end of practice, I just put it in perspective, Garrett Bush posted on X and he said, the bills are doing anything they want offensively, run game, pass game, whatever.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_03]: So,
- 25:44[SPEAKER_03]: I think it started out, and this is kind of like the story of the preseason game last weekend.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_03]: Started out okay for the defense, but as you, I called in some depth, depth pieces, and not so good, because the drop-off in talent from the main guys to the next guys is huge for the Brownsyshare, huge.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_03]: Let's see.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_03]: We already talked about Alex right.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_03]: That one sucks.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_03]: Um, that's pretty much.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's that's about the end of my notes here from joint practice today.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_03]: Let me know if there's anything else you guys saw from the joint practice that I didn't talk about didn't cover.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_03]: We can kind of discuss in the comments wherever, you know, YouTube face, wherever you're watching this.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_03]: We'll talk about it.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_03]: But overall,
- 26:28[SPEAKER_03]: That's, that's what came out of joint practices today.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_03]: Nothing crazy.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_03]: Nothing horrible other than the Alex Wright injury, which again, I'm praying is just like, just let it be a spring, dank or he wrote a zankle something.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_03]: They just didn't want to make him walk.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_03]: I think it probably, I'm hoping it looked worse than what it was.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll see.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_03]: But let's see, let's take
- 27:00[SPEAKER_03]: This episode is sponsored by Disney Plus.

- 27:30[SPEAKER_03]: All right, thanks for hanging around guys.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_03]: We got more to talk about for this game coming up Saturday.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_03]: Let's kick things over to our segment from Kenny Mac.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_00]: Hey dog pack, I'm hitting you up with a preview segment for the Bill's Browns game this week.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_00]: This Saturday, 1 p.m. Josh and I, we just could not connect this week.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he's got kids going to school.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'm traveling.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'm here in Cleveland.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a little vacation for me to see this preseason game.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_00]: And that's right.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_00]: Boys and girls.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_00]: I am in the land right now.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll be hitting you up separately.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_00]: I want to talk some Browns.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_00]: I want to talk some bills for this Saturday.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_00]: Believe it or not, guys.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_00]: I was in the building in 2018 when the Browns hosted Buffalo.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_00]: And it was a way different vibe for that preseason game.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_00]: It was Mayfield versus Josh Allen.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_00]: They were both rookie quarterbacks.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_00]: They wanted to come into their own.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: They had franchise aspirations looking forward to their futures.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_00]: And
- 28:32[SPEAKER_00]: guys, let's take a look at that.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: So the 2018 Browns, the number one pick overall, we had Baker Mayfield to get Denzo Ward that year as well.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_00]: They got Josh Allen, like I said, we had you Jackson in the building and Sean McDermott was coming with his squad.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_00]: And the irony of that is that
- 28:52[SPEAKER_00]: We replaced, are not replaced.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_00]: We hired you, Jackson, over Sean McDermott, and we know where that success went over the next couple of years, but we had Tyrod Taylor, the aspirations were high for both.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_00]: There was hope for the future.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_00]: We'll fast forward it today.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_00]: Buffalo eventually found themselves as a perennial contender in what,
- 29:18[SPEAKER_00]: Sean McDermott built for them, and they got an MVP in Josh Allen.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_00]: We're the same old Cleveland Browns with quarterback turmoil, and we just have it quite got there, maybe two winning seasons since that time.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_00]: So, it's eight years later, it's built, it's Browns.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_00]: We're still looking for a QB, but I want to concentrate on the back end of this roster, guys, because it did not look good next week.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_00]: let's get a reality check going now.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_00]: This team is young.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's got a new offensive system with a new head coach and the head coach tore down the offensive line, brought in some new receivers.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_00]: We need to make sure that all gets on the same page as well as the defensive coordinator and the special teams coordinator.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_00]: So expect growing pains.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_00]: These guys, the Browns,
- 30:13[SPEAKER_00]: They're all thinking and not reacting.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_00]: They're just not there yet.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_00]: So, what am I looking for?
- 30:21[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously the best 22 probably won't be playing.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what Monkton said.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think the Sean Watson's playing.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think there's talent in that group, but I wanna figure out what the rest has.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_00]: Anything below 50 on this roster just isn't any good.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_00]: We got to figure out positions.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_00]: I'd say 23 to 53.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_00]: And this is what bothered me against the bears and I know what bothered you guys against the bears.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_00]: When we started getting deeper into our roster, guys looked lost and overwhelmed.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_00]: The offensive line wasn't creating the same movement.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_00]: and the defense got blown up for way too many yards.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_00]: So the offense, let's talk about them quickly.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_00]: What do we need to do to see more than 10 points on the board this week?
- 31:06[SPEAKER_00]: Give me some screens, get me the ball out fast, give it to these young playmakers, let them play fast.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_00]: Screen games got to take it up to another lot, a notch because I don't know if you guys listen to training camp all week.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_00]: There was a lot of procedural stuff in movement.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_00]: They just got blown up every time.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it's because the defense knows what's coming.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_00]: And there's no even flow to the play calling in training camp.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_00]: But I want to see that, those things to help the offensive move.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_00]: Now let's switch gears a little bit, let's talk about the Buffalo Bills, they're in an interesting spot.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_00]: They revamped their entire coaching staff.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_00]: So Joe Brady, the O.C.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_00]: last year, he takes over, but he's got Josh Allen.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_00]: That's good for him for play calling.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_00]: That makes a big difference for him.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_00]: As far as like depth is concerned, they're pretty deep.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_00]: If you take a look at the buffalo bills, tell me in the comments, how many guys do you think they're turning over on the back end?
- 32:06[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're set at 48 guys, and I think they're good.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_00]: But that means for us when we're at the game or you're watching this game, what guys are on the fringe, what are pieces that can come over and help us out?
- 32:20[SPEAKER_00]: defensively they're changing their scheme a bit.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_00]: They have Jim Leonard.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_00]: He was with us as a safety in the Browns about 10, 15 years ago.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_00]: So that offense, sorry, the defense will be learning too.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_00]: So what can the offense do to take advantage of that is the stuff that I told you earlier.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_00]: So hopefully that team is also learning and not reacting fast and should or can take advantage of that.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_00]: So guys, we talked about Shoulddoor and I know that's going to be the thing that you want to hear the most.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_00]: Shoulddoor fans, you know that there's some things that he has to work on.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_00]: What are your main evaluation points when you head into this game?
- 33:01[SPEAKER_00]: What do you guys want to see?
- 33:03[SPEAKER_00]: For me, he's got to show he's got to win the intermediate field and you know what that means?
- 33:09[SPEAKER_00]: Passes 10 to 19 yards down the field, digs, crossers, out, deliver it on time and accurately.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_00]: We know we can make those downfield plays, I want to see him consistently operate that part of the field and move the office methodically down and get field goals and touchdowns.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_00]: The play you need to play on time.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_00]: So what I mean by that is get through your progressions.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_00]: Trust what you see and rip the football.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_00]: Monkton specifically said that Shador has improved his pocket presence and progressions, but the operational part of playing quarterback needs a lot of work.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_00]: And this is kind of the anchor that's holding him down, I read this in the New York post.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_00]: This is what a lot of national media is saying about him.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_00]: He needs to run the offense cleanly, huddle, cadence, situations, substitutions, protections, getting everybody lined up and no play can be wasted.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_00]: Munkton said specifically with all his quarterbacks that he wants to see, his quarterback have everybody lined up with 12-15 seconds left.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_00]: on the play clock.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_00]: That way that he can look at the defense, see what their determined what it is, make the appropriate play call, if needed, or run the play that's been called.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_00]: And I think if he shows me those three things executed well, I think that's moves him up a notch in my eyes.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_00]: So, Shador, please show me that you can play that 15-year game, hit some digs, get the protection right, let me see you take the next step.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_00]: And speaking of players that can increase or do better, here's some players that I'm watching while we just spoke about Shador Sanders, let's stick in the offense, and let's talk about the tight-end room, Harold Fan and Jr.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_00]: is up here guys.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_00]: The rest I don't know about and I think action speak words and that's what Josh says all the time.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_00]: What did the Browns do this last seven days?
- 35:17[SPEAKER_00]: They got two new titans in Germain Terry and Dequan Wright and I get it.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_00]: There was injuries.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_00]: on in that room, and a jack stall just went down.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_00]: We haven't seen Joel Royer, but I think also Blake Whiteheart isn't impressing that much.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_00]: Carson Ryan, he's a whole different tight end.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_00]: He's an H-back, he's a full back, Blake Whiteheart's your Y, and so what can your main Terry, what can to Kwan Wright do to get some more reps?
- 35:49[SPEAKER_00]: And they got a,
- 35:50[SPEAKER_00]: kind of morph into that Y tie-dance.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_00]: So that's the guy that puts his hand in the dirt.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_00]: Can block the defense end, set the edge, and help the running game.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_00]: So these guys, I think, will get a lot of play to see what they can do.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, guys, offensive line.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_00]: I've been hammering that point.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't matter what the quarterback does if he's on his back the entire time.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_00]: I think the way that this is gonna go,
- 36:16[SPEAKER_00]: is the Browns, you're gonna see this offensive line up for the most of the game.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_00]: If you're gonna see DeWan Jones at Left, Zack Zinner at Left Guard, Luke Whipler at Center, they're gonna see Austin Barber get some right guard steps and they're gonna move KT back to Wright Tackle and I just, between Carly, he was gone, he was awful last week, KT wasn't any better.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_00]: You'll see a lot of reps from Tyre Philips, he was with Mountain in Baltimore.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_00]: and then after that, I mean, hopefully these guys can do something to help our quarterbacks, and help our playmakers make some plays.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_00]: On defense, I think just guys being healthy will make the difference there.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to get too much into it, but you want to see.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_00]: In my eyes, I want to see Mike Hall play an entire game and I want to see what he can do against second stringers.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_00]: As far as the second there is concerned, let's see what they can do.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_00]: I want to see more out of Michael Coach Jr. and let's see these guys do what they're doing in practice against our offense.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_00]: You know, they have that breathe the air in mentality or breathe the ball in and they have that hurt mind fist mentality.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_00]: We want to see a lot of fist in this game.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_00]: tackle guys, bring them to the ground.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_00]: That's all I got for you guys.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_00]: I am pumped to be at the game.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to the guards game today.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_00]: Then I head out to PJ McIntyre's tonight.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to see Stacey who calls in all the time.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_00]: Then I'll be hanging around, Brad Moneymaker,
- 37:47[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to connect with a bunch of people in the discord in the mini lot on Saturday.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_00]: If you guys are around, come and see us.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to have a blast.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go brownies.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see some, let's see some methodical progression in development of these players this week.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_03]: This episode is sponsored by my bookie.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_03]: You guys want to start football season with a bet that feels like it can't miss.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_03]: The my bookie lock of the season is back and the first one is an absolute no brainer with the Patriots in Seattle for NFL kickoff.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_03]: My bookie is asking one simple question, will the seawks raise their championship banner that night?
- 38:29[SPEAKER_03]: Of course they will, they're the defending champs their home opener and raising the banner before kickoff is part of the celebration.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_03]: And you're getting that bet at plus money odds.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_03]: You're getting paid to say, yes, the Seahawks will do the thing.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_03]: The entire night is built around.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_03]: That's the first my bookie lock at the season.

- 39:06[SPEAKER_03]: We are close.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_03]: Kenny Mac.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you for the segment today to help everybody here with this preview for the bills versus the Browns.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_03]: Everybody in the comments right now, please just let's
- 39:19[SPEAKER_03]: Come with me.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_03]: Roast Kenny for Todd Munkton.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, Kenny cannot say the name without adding a tea.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_03]: He has talked about that.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_03]: It is hilarious.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_03]: I think the person with the best roast in the comments.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_03]: I'll get you a gift card to Dunkin Donuts.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_03]: That was terrible.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_03]: I'm kind of embarrassed.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_03]: Sometimes I don't even know why you guys watch this show.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_03]: But anyhow, a couple of things there to
- 39:49[SPEAKER_03]: Dishon Watson, I know I said this earlier this week, I believe.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_03]: that I did not think Deshawn Watts would end up actually playing in this preseason game.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_03]: I've changed that.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_03]: I have changed my mind because of one thing, Todd Munkin, not Munkin, has Kenny, I'm sorry, man, I'm not feeling Blake.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_03]: I'm picking on you.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you even here to defend yourself, man.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, Todd Munkin has reiterated again in the press this week, like he has made it a point of emphasis that Deshawn Watts and Will play the third quarter of this preseason game.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_03]: But when I was previously I just I had a feeling I was like I could just see this go on that sort of way where we get to the game and then it's, you know, third quarter and it's like, oh, Dylan Gabriel came out, oh, that's interesting.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_03]: But since Todd Munkin has reiterated and told us again repeatedly, yes, he will play the third quarter.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_03]: I think that will happen.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, I do think we'll see Shador for the first half like we're supposed to.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_03]: And then I do think to Sean Watson will play that third quarter.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_03]: And what I'm looking for a big time, Kenny, you nailed it.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_03]: Everything you said, I don't want to go over and repeat anything that you did there.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_03]: But
- 40:59[SPEAKER_03]: I just, I want to see what the difference looks like between Shidorah Sanders starting that third quarter, and then what he looks like starting again, because we know like there is a difference.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_03]: There's, think about last preseason, a humongous difference between what we saw with Shidorah Sanders and the first preseason game that he started against the Panthers.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_03]: And the third one where he didn't come into the third quarter I believe it was after halftime against the Rams, completely different player out there.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_03]: And
- 41:26[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm just I'm watching to see when he comes out as the star he gets introduced in front of the home crowd everybody's cheering the booze won't come down to the third quarter.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_03]: Let's see if he gets into a rhythm, if he's rocking and rolling and hitting passes and if he's, you know, if he's wrist up, Shador Sanders in the first half, this week that's where I'm looking for.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_03]: I'm looking for the wrist up and I'm not saying that in just, I mean that, like I'm looking for that, that moxie, that, like, let's go.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_03]: Let's, let's freaking ball out, you know?
- 41:55[SPEAKER_03]: Like let's just have some fun and do awesome.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_03]: Let's just do awesome.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_03]: So that's that's kind of thing.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_03]: And then for Deshawn Watson in the third quarter, how does he look coming in cold?
- 42:06[SPEAKER_03]: And how does he look with the third string offensive line?
- 42:10[SPEAKER_03]: We know that offensive line, the backups is no bueno, no bueno.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_03]: And
- 42:16[SPEAKER_03]: You know, what I'm watching for and what I want you guys to watch for too is the panic.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_03]: Because if the Sean Watson can hit his drop back, plan his feet, and his first read is open, I think you can execute the offense.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_03]: You should be able to.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he's a long time veteran quarterback.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_03]: Very highly paid.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_03]: He should be able to do that.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_03]: What happens when there's pressure and his first read is an open?
- 42:41[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I'm looking for to Sean Watson because when you get the week one against Jacksonville,
- 42:47[SPEAKER_03]: They're starting defense.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you're going to get pressure and your first reason not going to be open.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_03]: That's going to happen on a lot of place.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_03]: How do you handle it?
- 42:56[SPEAKER_03]: You panic.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_03]: Your eyes drop immediately and you're trying to find the escape route from your pocket.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_03]: how you miss a wide open Isaiah Bond who is wide ass open, working his way to the sideline to get even more open.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_03]: But you don't see him because your eyes are looking down because your first read was covered, and there's a little bit of pressure in your panicking.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_03]: Can't have that, man.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_03]: Can't have that.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_03]: So that's what I'm looking for out of the quarterbacks, Kenny.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_03]: I think you nailed everything else.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_03]: I do want to talk about this tight end.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to go whole lot longer here on this episode, probably, but the tight end position.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_03]: So can he text me after he sent the video and wanted me to make sure I updated you guys on the information.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_03]: Dave Juan right is no longer a Cleveland Brown, at least as far as I'm aware, maybe technically he is still somehow on the Brown's roster, but if you missed it,
- 43:44[SPEAKER_03]: I think it was yesterday.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_03]: So earlier this week, I think there were one or two days where Dickwon Wright, who is the UDFA Titan out of Ole Miss that signed as a UDFA with the Eagles, they waived them and then we claimed them.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_03]: And we need freaking help a Titan.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_03]: So, Dave Juan Wright was part of a group of athletes.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_03]: I think they were like 16 NCAA players who had where we're granted a temporary restraining order or something to seek or to have a fifth year of eligibility in college.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_03]: They want to go back and play another year in college football.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_03]: I don't want to think they were all football players.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_03]: I think there's some other sports in their mix, but what either way?
- 44:28[SPEAKER_03]: He's going back to college.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_03]: He entered, we got the news today.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_03]: He entered the NCAA transfer porter.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_03]: Day one, right, will play college football in 2026.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_03]: So he's not part of a program yet, but he's not going to be on the Cleveland Browns.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_03]: So I don't know what's going on there with the tight end situation, but Kenny nailed it.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_03]: You got Harold Fan and Jr.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_03]: and then you've got nothing at the position after that.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, and it sucks.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_03]: It sucks because I think the tight end position is so important to what Todd Monkin wants to do on offense and what we have compared to what he just came from in Baltimore last year and the year before that is awful.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you're talking, you came from Mark Andrews, Isaiah Lake Lee, Charlie Colar, and now you've come
- 45:19[SPEAKER_03]: Blake Whitehart.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_03]: That's your leader right now at the position.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_03]: Blake Whitehart, that's where we are.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_03]: Joe Reuer, not being anywhere, nobody knows what that is going on with him.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_03]: That hurts.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_03]: That's really screw on us, big time, because like Kenny said, Carson Ryan, I think he probably will be making this roster.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_03]: And I think they're going to have to play him at a tight end position here and there.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_03]: Even though like Kenny said, he is much better suited to be a fullback type of player, which I think he probably will be because the fullback we signed, Michael Burton hasn't practiced in like three weeks.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what the hell's going on with him.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think he's making the roster.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_03]: So it's, oh man, there are some positions on this team that are really good.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_03]: There are some really freaking good players on this brown scene right now.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_03]: But there are also some really, excuse me, some really large gaps from that top end talent to what's behind them and tight end is another situation of what that looks like right now.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_03]: There's your update on day one right in the tight end situation just weird just weird stuff and then the last thing that can he said I want to talk about the dream of KT Leveston playing right guard is over he has lost that opportunity they're moving him back to right tackle.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_03]: where we already know he's not very good.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_03]: So I feel like he just, he had an opportunity to do something at the guard position.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he was rotating and in the position battle, with Tevin Jenkins for the starting right guard spot.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_03]: And even with Tevin Jenkins missing a whole bunch of time with an injury, all KT Leveston did was play himself out of that spot.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_03]: And as soon as Tevin Jenkins came back from injury, they shoved him back at Ray Garg said, please, God, play Ray Garg!
- 47:13[SPEAKER_03]: We just can't watch KT play this anymore.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_03]: KT hasn't been back.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, has not been back with the starting unit.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_03]: So it is more than Tevin Jenkins winning the job, KT Leveston lost it.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_03]: That's how I see it.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_03]: He just flat out, lost the head opportunity because he
- 47:30[SPEAKER_03]: no good.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, that's what we'll be dealing with here on Saturday.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll see how it goes.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_03]: I'm excited, guys.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_03]: I'm excited.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_03]: Another weekend here, another game we get Brown's football on the field.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm not going to sit here and pretend like I'm not excited because your door Sanders is starting like, that's great.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I want to happen.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think it's going to happen week one, but we'll see.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_03]: But either way, it's happening Saturday.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_03]: And I just
- 47:57[SPEAKER_03]: I said this last week on the recap and I kind of reiterated here, you know, we have this quarterback battle and you know, this, this, I'll kind of throw some defense out here from Blake.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_03]: I'll wrap the show up here after this.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_03]: I know a lot of people in the comments last week, they, I don't know if you only watch a little bit of the show or hear one thing that Blake says, but there's a lot of
- 48:23[SPEAKER_03]: for, I guess, they, you know, he wants to Sean, he doesn't like Shador, Blake is just like me and Justin and Kenny, and here's the situation.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_03]: We want Shador Sanders to be the starter.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_03]: We want Shador Sanders to outplay to Sean Watson.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_03]: The disappointing thing is that it hasn't happened, okay?
- 48:48[SPEAKER_03]: You guys can get mad at me for saying that, but that's just the reality.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_03]: Going back through camp has Shidorah Sanders been the more consistent quarterback I believe so.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_03]: But, you know, if the organization, which I don't know, but I speculate that there could be some push from the organization higher up ownership front office.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_03]: Sean Watson said front office the other day in his press conference he said whatever the front office and Todd Munkin decide.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_03]: It wasn't whatever coach decides it was, well, whatever the front office.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_03]: and Monk and decide is what they're going to decide.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_03]: That's what he said.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_03]: It just seems like Shidorah Sanders has not gone to the level that he needed to to outright claim the spot.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_03]: So it's it sucks because it's what I was hoping
- 49:42[SPEAKER_03]: And I was optimistic all off season that, you know, with a lot of time to train and prep and everything like he would come in here and just grab the job by the balls and it would be his like he's like leaving no doubt I'm the better quarterback you're starting me there's nothing you can do about it and we'll make it very clear.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_03]: Unfortunately, that is not what happened here over camp.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_03]: It's not over yet.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_03]: They're still Saturday.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_03]: They're still next week.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_03]: But I did see some people posting online today in the media, and I hate it, but I agree.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_03]: I think there's a really good chance to pettin' on how the game goes Saturday.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_03]: But there's a good chance that the starting quarterback gets named next week.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_03]: Because the third pre-season game is like a nothing burger now.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_03]: So it is what the fourth pre-season game used to be.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_03]: Next week, the Browns will start preparing for week one.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_03]: They're not preparing to play the Patriots on Thursday.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_03]: Next week, they are preparing, getting the game plan ready to go for the Jacksonville J. Wires week one.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_03]: So I think in order to do that, you need to know who you're starting quarterback is.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_03]: So that thought process makes sense to me.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_03]: We'll see if it happens and all that, but the last thing I'll leave you guys with if you're
- 51:03[SPEAKER_03]: Bummin that it feels like Deshawn Watson is going to be the starter or you think times running out on Shador to make a push and a claim for this thing.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_03]: Both of these guys are going to start games this year.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_03]: If you guys have been a Browns fan for a long time and I know there's a lot of new fans and people that aren't even Browns fans, you just fans of Shador, that's fine.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_03]: Whatever, I just need to educate you on the historical tendencies of this team.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_03]: We start multiple quarterbacks every season.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_03]: Ever since 2022, when we ship Baker Mayfield out of town, we have started at least two, if not three, four, or even five, quarterbacks, different quarterbacks throughout the duration of an NFL season.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_03]: So Ever since Deschon Watson has been on this team, we've started multiple quarterbacks every year that he's been here.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_03]: Deschon Watson's on this team.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_03]: This is the fifth year he's here.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_03]: It will happen again.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_03]: So even if the Sean Watson gets named the week one starter again, like I've said before, I'll root for him.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to believe in him because he's done nothing to make me believe in him.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_03]: I'll root for him because I don't want my team to suck.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_03]: I want to watch good football.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_03]: I want to win games.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_03]: I don't want to be the laughing stock.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_03]: of the league anymore.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_03]: So I'll root for him to be good.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_03]: I'll be happy if he does well because it means we're winning.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_03]: It means KC and Boston and fan and we're scoring touchdowns and we're making big plays and if you drafted these guys and your fancy team you're happy.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_03]: I just don't believe in them.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_03]: But either way, Shoulder Sanders will start games for the Cleveland Browns this season.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_03]: So just stay patient.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_03]: If it doesn't happen week one, hang in there.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_03]: And if you're only here for Shidorah Sanders, then what I could tell you, if you're gonna watch games or follow the Browns up until he gets that first start this year, just be rooting for these skill guys, these young rookies to develop and grow.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_03]: You know, because it rookies don't always start out the season on fire, it's usually a progression.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_03]: If they're going to be really good, the rookies season is probably the back half where they really kick into gear.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, that could be when Chador takes the reins.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_03]: And now you've got games under the belt for Casey Concepts on a Denzel Boston and Spencer Fano.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_03]: And I think we could see kind of like we saw last year, as soon as Shador came in, there was a spark.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_03]: And the offense, finally, could do some things.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_03]: It was a stagnant, stale, putrid pathetic offense all year until he finally took over.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_03]: And it's not like it was great after that because we were run by Kevin Stephansky and had no weapons.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_03]: But he at least made it fun to watch.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_03]: And there was always the,
- 53:47[SPEAKER_03]: possibility that there could be a big play or something could happen or we could pick up this first down.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe we'll score.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_03]: There wasn't, we didn't really have that before him.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll see, but I bet how I see it going this year, that how I see things going Saturday, again, thanks to Kenny Mac for coming in here and leaving a segment for the show.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_03]: Thanks to you guys for tuning in and being here.
