**BREAKING!** Silver is Doing THIS! 🦍🦍 (INDIA + Gold Price UPDATE) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:01
This is what we can expect for the silver and gold price in the
0:05
coming few days. One of two things will happen or
0:09
somewhere on the continuum in between.
0:12
We're either going to have some form or fashion of a ceasefire
0:16
in the conflict with Iran in that would send the price of oil
0:21
down, down, down. In the price of silver and gold
0:25
up, up, up. It would also send the dollar
0:28
down if things do escalate. OK, if and, and I hope they
0:33
don't, but if they do escalate, we could run into some temporary
0:38
additional short term noise for the gold and silver price.
0:42
But over the long run, because of things like inflation,
0:46
devaluation of the dollar, additional war spending, it's
0:49
going to be good for gold and silver.
0:51
But let's go out and get an update 'cause there's a lot
0:53
going on today. It's a big, big Newsday today.
0:57
The price of silver, gold and the general markets will be
1:01
driven by this news. But let's run out first and take
1:04
a look see at the silver and gold price.
1:11
Here we are looking at the spot price.
1:13
So it looks like silver's down about $1.15.
1:16
Gold is up a little bit. But something very interesting I
1:20
noticed before we came on, we got the spot price of silver at
1:24
$71.74 and we have the futures. OK, so the futures is back up.
1:31
Earlier today, it was backward. We had a state of backwardation
1:36
again where the futures price was actually lower.
1:40
So we're balancing, excuse me, somewhere between backwardation
1:47
and contango. Let's run out here and take a
1:50
look at the headlines that we're getting from Yahoo Finance.
1:54
And I want to share with you something else interesting that
1:58
I noticed on Yahoo Finance. But all the headlines have to do
2:03
with the Iran conflict. We did apparently strike Cargo
2:06
Island, which could be seen as, I don't know, I don't know, some
2:10
form of escalation. It's going to be interesting
2:13
again tonight at 8:00 PM is the deadline after which President
2:20
Donald Trump, it basically said he was going to engage in a
2:25
aggressive bombing campaign of Iran.
2:28
One more quick thing while we're here at Yahoo Finance.
2:30
I just noticed they took silver off the main banner used to be
2:35
the VIX, then gold over here on the right and next to gold would
2:39
be silver, but they got rid of silver.
2:42
Maybe we can take that as a good sign.
2:44
I don't know the, the, as we know the the world's mainstream
2:50
hold on here, financial press has never been the big
2:53
mainstream traditional finance world has never been really kind
2:57
to gold, but especially silver. And now Yahoo Finance took
3:01
silver off their main banner. We won't read too far into that,
3:05
but we will read far into this next chart that I'm going to
3:08
show you because it is another absolute beautiful silver chart
3:14
that has a lot of interesting things to tell us about where we
3:18
may be heading. 1000 Bagger shared the silver's parabolic
3:24
2020 five 2026 blow off top 228 dollars followed by brutal 45%
3:32
capitulation to 72 dollars formed a textbook falling wedge
3:38
at $70 support this classic post mania shake out in the secular
3:44
bull market sets up the next explosive V shaped rally.
3:48
But Rashad put this out. Look at this wedge.
3:51
This guy's is the falling wedge of all falling wedges you can
3:56
see there. I'll kind of outline it for you.
3:59
And that starts at that big $120.00 plus run up that we had
4:04
in late January. And as you can, you can see
4:06
we've gone into this wedge. Now the beautiful thing about
4:09
wedge patterns is eventually they come to a point.
4:13
Eventually the price breaks out to the upside or the downside.
4:17
It's one of my favorite technical indicators and we'll
4:22
go over this one more time. If we read about a falling
4:25
wedge, they are typically bullish as they usually signal a
4:30
reversal from a downtrend or the continuation of an uptrend,
4:35
which would be the situation that we're in right now.
4:38
While the price makes lower highs and lower lows, the narrow
4:44
narrowing range suggests that sellers, short timers, right
4:49
people who aren't completely believers in the long term
4:53
prospects for silver, they're lose are losing momentum before
4:58
a potential upward breakout. And again, there's another view
5:02
of the falling wedge pattern and what what happens is as it goes
5:06
down and down and forms that wedge that we've gone into on an
5:10
uptrend, any of the people right in aggregate that aren't really
5:16
can don't really have strong conviction for silver are
5:19
selling and it's creating the strong base of new holders in
5:24
that $70 range. I mean, Can you believe that
5:27
we're talking about building a base at $70.00 of of new people
5:32
and existing strong handed holders in the silver market
5:36
that creates a platform from which most of the time, not all
5:41
the time, please always be responsible with any financial
5:44
decisions you make. However, most of the time those
5:48
falling wedges will break out to the upside, in particular when
5:52
you went into the falling wedge in an uptrend.
5:55
So we're going to keep a close eye on that.
5:57
Very, very interesting what's going on right now.
6:00
And because we need to review, let's take a look at some
6:04
incredible, an incredible chart that shows where solar demand
6:08
is, but more importantly, how that relates to the energy
6:11
crisis, the worst energy crisis that we've had in the history of
6:17
the world with oil right now, it says from oil shocks, from
6:21
metals and miners, from oil shocks to solar booms, the push
6:25
for energy security will be driving greater solar adoption.
6:31
Strait of Hormuz chaos accelerates the silver bull
6:34
market and tech like margins in an, in a hard asset world,
6:39
right? Like tech, the tech industry has
6:42
huge profit margins, right? And until just recently, that
6:46
was not the case in the silver market, but we're seeing that
6:49
now. But what I really wanted to show
6:51
you right here, this is silver solar demand forecast from 2014
6:57
through 2030. So on this chart, and I can't
7:01
get hold on, maybe I can't hold on one second.
7:04
Let me see if I can get the whole thing.
7:06
Here we go. Yeah, I can get the whole thing
7:08
on the screen for you. Look at that.
7:11
OK, so on this chart, if we look down here, right, these grayish
7:16
bars are through 2024. This is actual silver demand
7:22
during that period, the turquoise colored, the greenish
7:26
colored is the the very conservative estimate for silver
7:32
demand for solar going into the into the future in this orange,
7:38
which is the one we really like. All right, that's the bullish
7:42
forecast, OK, for silver solar demand.
7:46
And that goes out to right here, which is 2030.
7:51
So think about what's happening. I mean, in so many levels,
7:55
everyone is saying this is the biggest energy crisis that we've
7:59
ever hold on here that we've ever had in the world, OK.
8:04
And on top of that, this energy crisis, think about solar, I'm
8:08
telling you, nuclear and solar. Nuclear for base load, electric
8:12
generation, solar for for like the whatever the heck they call
8:17
that for like the intermittent needs and for people who live
8:21
out in in the middle of nowhere and can't get electricity.
8:24
Solar and silver. Demand for solar, especially
8:28
given this worldwide historic energy crisis that we're in,
8:34
will continue. The demand for silver for solar
8:37
will continue to be absolutely incredible as we move out into
8:41
the future. Thank you to Brixton Metals for
8:44
sponsoring Ron's basement. They are a Canadian metals
8:47
exploration company. They've got 4 big projects, all
8:51
in Canada and the United States. Copper, gold, silver, nickel and
8:56
more. You can learn more about them at
8:58
brixtonmetals.com and our good friends at First Mining Gold
9:03
First Mining Gold at Canadian gold development stage company 2
9:08

9:12
both of which have millions of Oz of gold in the ground.
9:15
Learn more about them at firstmininggold.com.
9:18
Both of those companies are stocks that I owned for gosh 5
9:22
plus years long before they sponsored my channel.
9:26
But remember, I'm not a financial advisor.
9:29
Stocks, bonds, mutual funds, cryptocurrency, precious metals,
9:33
everything is risky. Please always be responsible and
9:37
consult a professional financial advisor, do your own research,
9:42
OK. All right, let's go on to India.
9:44
This is interesting big story that came out last month that
9:47
India was ditching the LBMA, the London Bullion Market
9:51
Association for pricing silver and gold in their big national
9:56
ETFs. And look at this International
9:59
Stacker pulled up some incredible data in terms of what
10:03
we're seeing now just at the beginning of this process.
10:07
He says India's gold and silver premium over the Comex and the
10:13
LBMA is widening. E verse W Divergent is
10:17
accelerating again, guys, this is so important because India
10:21
and China are becoming the dominant forces the price
10:25
setters on in the worldwide gold and silver market.
10:29
The gold and silver market aren't just in the United States
10:33
and they're not just in in London, they are world
10:36
worldwide, but India and China are becoming the dominant force.
10:40
So the difference right just in the last few days because it
10:44
started on April first since India started pricing silver on
10:49
their own. Look the gold price up 8
10:52
percent, 8%, seven percent, 7.8% silver price in India higher by
10:59
6.67.75.9 and 7.7% respectively. OK, India consistently trading
11:08
at a 6 to 8% premium to international quote, UN quote
11:12
benchmarks, the old school LBMA and COMEX with silver showing
11:17
even stronger local strength. Frank, I wanted to see since
11:22
we're out here and we talked about China, let's see if we can
11:28
hold on here, see if we can find our friend, the Oriental Ghost
11:34
and let's just check on the price in China.
11:36
There he is, Mr. Oriental Ghost and come on, he's always so good
11:42
about putting it out there. I don't see it today up here we
11:46
go April 7th. Here's the Shanghai Gold, the
11:50
Shanghai Gold Exchange and the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
11:54
As you can see, right? And the one we really pay
11:57
attention to is the Shanghai Gold Exchange, which is right
12:01
here, SGE and their silver AG. This is their physical market
12:07
closed at almost $81.00 per oz. That's their spot price in China
12:14
and you got to have the physical metal to trade that in China.
12:19
But let's go out there, $81.00 versus basically 72 here in our
12:26
in London at the LBMA on the spot market.
12:29
It's over, only down a dollar now.
12:31
Hey guys, maybe we'll stick around here on the live stream a
12:34
little bit longer and see just how high we can go.
12:37
But is Fiat doomed? Get ready, we've got that the
12:40
Francis Hunt, right? Super respected, very smart guy.
12:45
The big picture that we always want to focus on with gold and
12:49
silver is the fact that the Fiat money systems historically and
12:54
currently have always basically lost value.
12:57
And wait until you see. And we're going to learn
12:59
something fascinating about what what a what a parabola is and
13:04
how that relates directly to what's going on right now in the
13:08
silver and gold market. I've got a short video for you
13:13
to watch from Francis Hunt. This came from Bullion insights
13:18
and Interviews. Mr. Francis says the Fiat
13:21
currencies are compromised. Currencies are being debased all
13:26
over the world. Gold and precious metals are
13:28
safety plays for us, while debasement is a survival play
13:33
for the Fiat money, right? That's that's all they can do is
13:37
continue to print and debase and debase.
13:40
But wait till you wait. I learned something interesting
13:43
and we'll talk about that. But let's watch this one minute
13:46
with Francis right now. Your gold accounts is your new
13:51
unit of accounts. All fiats are compromised.
13:54
We're in that Ernest Hemingway bankruptcy curve, I tend to call
13:58
it, which is slowly at first, the debasement of money and then
14:02
suddenly, very, very fast. That's what it does.
14:07
It's called an inverse parabola. And the irony is gold when it
14:13
is, going up does the exact opposite.
14:16
I've got a glass in the way of my hand, so that's not the
14:19
straightest line I've ever drawn.
14:21
And if you add those two charts together, you get a straight
14:23
line preservation in real terms. But because I just want to
14:28
interrupt for one second, because to me this is
14:31
fascinating. This is called a parabola,
14:34
right? It's a, it's a line on a chart
14:37
that is time goes by, the moves become more and more extreme,
14:43
OK, in this case, up and down within shorter and shorter
14:47
periods of time. So as you can see, it kind of
14:49
just meanders along, meanders along and then woo down.
14:53
That would be the Fiat currency. This is gold.
14:56
Meanders along, meanders along and then Woo during shorter
15:00
periods of time has more extreme moves.
15:03
And with gold, this is to the upside.
15:06
And what he says is, which is very interesting and true, that
15:09
if you average them together, you get a straight line.
15:12
That's what a lot of people mean by gold is kind of the mirror
15:16
image of Fiat. OK, I will be quiet and let him
15:20
finish explaining this to you. It's non linear.
15:23
By that I mean it's a parabola. What's actually happened is the
15:26
debasement of the dollar should have done something more linear,
15:30
should have gone down like that. But because they lie a little
15:33
and it's only a little, no one takes notes.
15:35
It doesn't get priced in. What's happening here is all the
15:38
debasement down to here with overreaction through emotions
15:43
suddenly has to be caught up so you get a delayed reaction of
15:48
catch up watch. The full video on our YouTube.
15:50
OK, wow. Your gold.
15:52
Hold on, Oz, Hold on. I'm coming back.
15:56
I had never, I don't know about you, but I'd never really heard
15:59
it explained that way and that simply, I really want to give
16:02
Francis a tip of my hat, my tin boil hat or silver hat for
16:09
explaining it, right? That those, the way the move is,
16:12
the parabola like it because of lies and that doesn't it?
16:17
It's like Wiley Coyote when he runs off the Cliff, right?
16:20
We're kind of at that point now. It feels like.
16:23
I don't like it. I'm not in favor, you know, the
16:25
whole 1971 Nixon thing, whatever.
16:28
But it really is true. Like we're at this point where
16:31
the lies, they can keep it going, but then woof, right.
16:34
Or like he said with Hemingway, Ernest Hemingway, who said
16:37
somebody asked him, how did you go broke?
16:39
And he said, well, little by little.
16:41
And then all of a sudden it happened, OK.
16:44
And they gold and silver, he started out by saying this.
16:47
And guys, this is a big key fundamental, the big, big reason
16:52
why we need to remember this gold is the new is the unit of
16:56
account. A lot of us, including me then
16:59
maybe you're in Europe, maybe you think in terms of EUR, I'm
17:02
in the United States. I make the grave mistake of
17:05
thinking in dollars instead of Oz of gold, ounces of silver.
17:10
Silver and gold are the unit of account.
17:15
I say it all the time. We say it down here in the
17:17
basement. Silver and gold are the world's
17:20
original reserve currencies. People talk about all the
17:23
dollars, the world's reserve currency.
17:25
The British pound was the world's reserve currency.
17:27
The Dutch, whatever was the world's reserve currency, the
17:30
Spanish had the world, the Romans, Right, Whatever.
17:33
OK. No.
17:34
Gold and silver are the original and always world reserve current
17:39
currencies. Gold and silver are the unit of
17:43
account. That's what I believe.
17:45
That's what just as I as I when, when, when we factors that make
17:48
sense, when you factor in like what we know about history and
17:52
what we know about even what's going on right now.
17:55
And we know right, the world central banks happen to be
17:58
buying a boatload of gold, literally, that that is indeed
18:02
the case and most likely will be the case.
18:05
Judy Shelton, we're going to talk about her next.
18:08
She had been nominated to be on the Federal Reserve Board, but
18:12
she's got some really wild ideas about what could, what we as a
18:16
country in the United States could do with gold.
18:20
And it's something that I think gold and silver bugs will find
18:23
very, very interesting. Before I do that, I do want to
18:26
say thank you. The channel sponsor, First
18:29
Meant, guys, if you haven't checked out First Meant, I would
18:32
recommend you give them a shot. If you're in the retail silver
18:36
bullion market, that's all they do.
18:38
They are the silver bullion specialist.
18:41
It's very unique company because they're owned by First Majestic
18:44
Silver who mines the silver in Mexico, ships the silver to 1st
18:50
Mint in Las Vegas, NV, where they create these unbelievable
18:54
unique world class silver bullion products like this.
18:59
The backside of their Buffalo Round, absolutely love that, you
19:03
know that, but then it goes straight to you, literally from
19:06
the mine to the meant to you. I think it's safe to say it's
19:09
the freshest silver on the market.
19:11
I don't know of anybody else who actually does that.
19:14
Mine's the silver, mints the silver and then gets it directly
19:19
to the customer. They have great customer
19:21
service, great selection, great prices, a fast shipping, you
19:25
guys, I could go on and on, but it just provided unbelievable
19:29
positive impact if they really offer a premium retail
19:34
experience for anyone out there, US basement dwellers looking to
19:38
buy silver. So thank you.
19:40
First meant for sponsoring Ron's basement.
19:43
OK, Judy Shelton, I promised you.
19:45
OK Remember, Donald Trump nominated her to be on the
19:49
Federal Reserve, to be a board member on the Federal Reserve,
19:53
and then Joe Biden revoked it when he became president.
19:57
But wait till you hear what Judy is proposing.
20:02
This actually comes from Coin Telegraph, which is a big crypto
20:07
news source. They have just under 3,000,000
20:10
followers, OK? They're a crypto media company
20:13
and they're talking about this. That just then, uh oh, what?
20:17
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Did I screw that up?
20:20
I did OK. We'll go back because that's
20:25
another guy I forgot. But wait, there's more because
20:27
there's another crazy gold story.
20:30
But first we'll do Judy Shelton, who herself posted this.
20:33
How many followers does Judy have?
20:35
Almost 90,000 Big account, she said.
20:39
Here's a useful visual, which this is.
20:41
She's referring to this down here, the visual that shows that
20:44
the United States has the most gold of any country in the
20:48
world. She says the United States has
20:51
the most dominant global reserve currency and the highest level
20:56
of official gold reserves. We should play our strengths and
21:00
combine them through a new initiative enabling stable coins
21:05
backed by gold convertible long term Treasury bonds.
21:10
Woof, that's a that's a a mouthful.
21:12
Stable coins that would be backed by gold convertible long
21:17
term treasury bonds. They're talking about issuing
21:20
long term. She's proposing issuing long
21:23
term treasury bonds backed by gold.
21:26
It would be a 1-2 punch in support of sound money and
21:31
establishing a solid foundation for productive economic growth.
21:37
And Judy Shelton pull some serious weight and this is not
21:40
the first time that she's talked about this backing the dollar in
21:44
some form or fashion with gold in the now her latest idea is
21:50
stable coin backed a stable coins backed by gold convertible
21:53
long term treasury bonds could be very, very interesting in
21:58
particular when you consider this.
22:00
You know, we talked about it earlier, all right, and I and it
22:03
and it and it's an absolute fact.
22:06
Yes, gold and silver are the unit of measure.
22:09
Gold and silver are the world's original reserve currencies
22:13
because coin Telegraph why I mentioned earlier, which is a
22:16
crypto media company with almost 3,000,000 followers put this
22:20
out. Gold trading volume surged to
22:23
about 361 billion dollars per day in 2025.
22:30
That now exceeds Treasury bills, major foreign exchange pairs,
22:36
and even the combined activity of top US stocks like Apple,
22:41
NVIDIA, and Tesla. And look at this chart, guys.
22:45
Tell that this tells us how gold has absolutely reclaimed its
22:51
status as the world's original reserve currency.
22:54
Nothing is even close to the gold line.
22:57
The second one down, make sure you can see that for gold.
23:01
I mean it's unbelievable. And that breaks down over the
23:06
counter trading other exchanges and ETS, but nothing is even
23:11
close. Treasuries about half as much as
23:14
we're seeing in gold. My only complaint about this
23:17
chart, and I'm sure yours is too, is where is silver because
23:20
it wasn't too long ago and I don't think that it remains in
23:24
that position. But there was a time not too
23:26
long ago where silver was the world's second most second most
23:32
valuable asset period. So it's going to be wild.
23:35
Look, we're going to be in for a very interesting afternoon.
23:38
Let's run out to make sure there hasn't been any breaking news.
23:42
And then we can we can check on that real simply by checking on
23:47
the gold and silver price. OK, Silver now down only $0.88,
23:51
gold up $17.00 dollars and $0.40.
23:55
So there does not appear that we've had any big breaking news.
23:58
But again, later on today, for those of you who've joined us in
24:02
the basement here a little bit late, it's going to be a crazy
24:06
headline driven noisy rest of the day.
24:09
If we get some form or fashion of a ceasefire or something that
24:15
eludes to the fact that the level of violence in the Middle
24:19
East is going to be temporarily at least decreased.
24:23
We will see the oil price shoot down, the dollar will go down
24:29
and gold and silver will spike upwards.
24:32
OK. Depending on how real and how
24:37
effective the market thinks that any type of ceasefire or
24:41
announcement of reduction in conflict in the Middle East may
24:45
or may not be OK. If indeed we get to this 8:00 PM
24:49
Eastern cut off time and there is more violence that breaks out
24:55
in the Middle East, it could be very bearish for the gold and
24:59
silver price. The dollar could go up, oil
25:02
could go up, gold and silver temporarily could go down.
25:05
But remember, at the end of the day, right, even in that
25:09
scenario, we don't like it. That's not I, I'm, I personally
25:13
am a kind of an anti war guy. This is not a political show and
25:18
you don't really care about my personal beliefs in that regard.
25:20
But but even if we do get that in the in the level of conflict
25:25
escalates, OK, in the long run, under either scenario, the gold
25:32
and silver price are going to go much, much higher in the coming
25:36
months, quarters and years, OK, and decades for that matter, OK
25:41
Because inflation at the end of the day, right?
25:46
The higher inflation goes, the more negative the real interest
25:50
rates become. In negative, real interest rates
25:53
are good, supportive for the price of gold and silver.
25:57
Look, we don't like it. We don't like war.
25:59
We don't like what's going on with the dollar, OK?
26:02
I mean, I like what the founding fathers of the United States
26:05
stood for, but there's nothing we can do.
26:08
Like we aren't making these decisions, but we can pull our
26:12
head out of the sand and keep a close eye on what's going on.
26:16
I think we're going to be great. Thank you for joining me down in
26:18
the basement. Please subscribe to the channel
26:21
if you haven't already. Give this a thumbs up.
26:24
It takes. All you got to do is press that
26:25
thumbs up button. That'll help get the word out to
26:28
more and more people that very few people in the United States
26:31
really are aware of what's going on with the fiscal situation,
26:36
from the monetary situation and in the big, big benefits that
26:41
looking at precious metals, gold and silver can provide.
26:44
So the more people that we can help spread the word to, the
26:48
better. Most importantly, thank you for
26:50
being here. Your time is valuable.
26:52
We appreciate you on behalf of upstairs Susie, she's out
26:56
running errands. She said to say hi to everybody.
26:59
Thank you guys so, so much and have a great day.
27:03
OK, And I'll see you. And yeah, you're right.
27:06
I see you. We'll see you next time.
27:08
Bye. Bye.
