- 0:01This is what we can expect for the silver and gold price in the
- 0:05coming few days. One of two things will happen or
- 0:09somewhere on the continuum in between.
- 0:12We're either going to have some form or fashion of a ceasefire
- 0:16in the conflict with Iran in that would send the price of oil
- 0:21down, down, down. In the price of silver and gold
- 0:25up, up, up. It would also send the dollar
- 0:28down if things do escalate. OK, if and, and I hope they
- 0:33don't, but if they do escalate, we could run into some temporary
- 0:38additional short term noise for the gold and silver price.
- 0:42But over the long run, because of things like inflation,
- 0:46devaluation of the dollar, additional war spending, it's
- 0:49going to be good for gold and silver.
- 0:51But let's go out and get an update 'cause there's a lot
- 0:53going on today. It's a big, big Newsday today.
- 0:57The price of silver, gold and the general markets will be
- 1:01driven by this news. But let's run out first and take
- 1:04a look see at the silver and gold price.
- 1:11Here we are looking at the spot price.
- 1:13So it looks like silver's down about $1.15.
- 1:16Gold is up a little bit. But something very interesting I
- 1:20noticed before we came on, we got the spot price of silver at
- 1:24$71.74 and we have the futures. OK, so the futures is back up.
- 1:31Earlier today, it was backward. We had a state of backwardation
- 1:36again where the futures price was actually lower.
- 1:40So we're balancing, excuse me, somewhere between backwardation
- 1:47and contango. Let's run out here and take a
- 1:50look at the headlines that we're getting from Yahoo Finance.
- 1:54And I want to share with you something else interesting that
- 1:58I noticed on Yahoo Finance. But all the headlines have to do
- 2:03with the Iran conflict. We did apparently strike Cargo
- 2:06Island, which could be seen as, I don't know, I don't know, some
- 2:10form of escalation. It's going to be interesting
- 2:13again tonight at 8:00 PM is the deadline after which President
- 2:20Donald Trump, it basically said he was going to engage in a
- 2:25aggressive bombing campaign of Iran.
- 2:28One more quick thing while we're here at Yahoo Finance.
- 2:30I just noticed they took silver off the main banner used to be
- 2:35the VIX, then gold over here on the right and next to gold would
- 2:39be silver, but they got rid of silver.
- 2:42Maybe we can take that as a good sign.
- 2:44I don't know the, the, as we know the the world's mainstream
- 2:50hold on here, financial press has never been the big
- 2:53mainstream traditional finance world has never been really kind
- 2:57to gold, but especially silver. And now Yahoo Finance took
- 3:01silver off their main banner. We won't read too far into that,
- 3:05but we will read far into this next chart that I'm going to
- 3:08show you because it is another absolute beautiful silver chart
- 3:14that has a lot of interesting things to tell us about where we
- 3:18may be heading. 1000 Bagger shared the silver's parabolic
- 3:242020 five 2026 blow off top 228 dollars followed by brutal 45%
- 3:32capitulation to 72 dollars formed a textbook falling wedge
- 3:38at $70 support this classic post mania shake out in the secular
- 3:44bull market sets up the next explosive V shaped rally.
- 3:48But Rashad put this out. Look at this wedge.
- 3:51This guy's is the falling wedge of all falling wedges you can
- 3:56see there. I'll kind of outline it for you.
- 3:59And that starts at that big $120.00 plus run up that we had
- 4:04in late January. And as you can, you can see
- 4:06we've gone into this wedge. Now the beautiful thing about
- 4:09wedge patterns is eventually they come to a point.
- 4:13Eventually the price breaks out to the upside or the downside.
- 4:17It's one of my favorite technical indicators and we'll
- 4:22go over this one more time. If we read about a falling
- 4:25wedge, they are typically bullish as they usually signal a
- 4:30reversal from a downtrend or the continuation of an uptrend,
- 4:35which would be the situation that we're in right now.
- 4:38While the price makes lower highs and lower lows, the narrow
- 4:44narrowing range suggests that sellers, short timers, right
- 4:49people who aren't completely believers in the long term
- 4:53prospects for silver, they're lose are losing momentum before
- 4:58a potential upward breakout. And again, there's another view
- 5:02of the falling wedge pattern and what what happens is as it goes
- 5:06down and down and forms that wedge that we've gone into on an
- 5:10uptrend, any of the people right in aggregate that aren't really
- 5:16can don't really have strong conviction for silver are
- 5:19selling and it's creating the strong base of new holders in
- 5:24that $70 range. I mean, Can you believe that
- 5:27we're talking about building a base at $70.00 of of new people
- 5:32and existing strong handed holders in the silver market
- 5:36that creates a platform from which most of the time, not all
- 5:41the time, please always be responsible with any financial
- 5:44decisions you make. However, most of the time those
- 5:48falling wedges will break out to the upside, in particular when
- 5:52you went into the falling wedge in an uptrend.
- 5:55So we're going to keep a close eye on that.
- 5:57Very, very interesting what's going on right now.
- 6:00And because we need to review, let's take a look at some
- 6:04incredible, an incredible chart that shows where solar demand
- 6:08is, but more importantly, how that relates to the energy
- 6:11crisis, the worst energy crisis that we've had in the history of
- 6:17the world with oil right now, it says from oil shocks, from
- 6:21metals and miners, from oil shocks to solar booms, the push
- 6:25for energy security will be driving greater solar adoption.
- 6:31Strait of Hormuz chaos accelerates the silver bull
- 6:34market and tech like margins in an, in a hard asset world,
- 6:39right? Like tech, the tech industry has
- 6:42huge profit margins, right? And until just recently, that
- 6:46was not the case in the silver market, but we're seeing that
- 6:49now. But what I really wanted to show
- 6:51you right here, this is silver solar demand forecast from 2014
- 6:57through 2030. So on this chart, and I can't
- 7:01get hold on, maybe I can't hold on one second.
- 7:04Let me see if I can get the whole thing.
- 7:06Here we go. Yeah, I can get the whole thing
- 7:08on the screen for you. Look at that.
- 7:11OK, so on this chart, if we look down here, right, these grayish
- 7:16bars are through 2024. This is actual silver demand
- 7:22during that period, the turquoise colored, the greenish
- 7:26colored is the the very conservative estimate for silver
- 7:32demand for solar going into the into the future in this orange,
- 7:38which is the one we really like. All right, that's the bullish
- 7:42forecast, OK, for silver solar demand.
- 7:46And that goes out to right here, which is 2030.
- 7:51So think about what's happening. I mean, in so many levels,
- 7:55everyone is saying this is the biggest energy crisis that we've
- 7:59ever hold on here that we've ever had in the world, OK.
- 8:04And on top of that, this energy crisis, think about solar, I'm
- 8:08telling you, nuclear and solar. Nuclear for base load, electric
- 8:12generation, solar for for like the whatever the heck they call
- 8:17that for like the intermittent needs and for people who live
- 8:21out in in the middle of nowhere and can't get electricity.
- 8:24Solar and silver. Demand for solar, especially
- 8:28given this worldwide historic energy crisis that we're in,
- 8:34will continue. The demand for silver for solar
- 8:37will continue to be absolutely incredible as we move out into
- 8:41the future. Thank you to Brixton Metals for
- 8:44sponsoring Ron's basement. They are a Canadian metals
- 8:47exploration company. They've got 4 big projects, all
- 8:51in Canada and the United States. Copper, gold, silver, nickel and
- 8:56more. You can learn more about them at
- 8:58brixtonmetals.com and our good friends at First Mining Gold
- 9:03First Mining Gold at Canadian gold development stage company 2
- 9:08huge projects spring pull in Ontario, Duparquet in Quebec,
- 9:12both of which have millions of Oz of gold in the ground.
- 9:15Learn more about them at firstmininggold.com.
- 9:18Both of those companies are stocks that I owned for gosh 5
- 9:22plus years long before they sponsored my channel.
- 9:26But remember, I'm not a financial advisor.
- 9:29Stocks, bonds, mutual funds, cryptocurrency, precious metals,
- 9:33everything is risky. Please always be responsible and
- 9:37consult a professional financial advisor, do your own research,
- 9:42OK. All right, let's go on to India.
- 9:44This is interesting big story that came out last month that
- 9:47India was ditching the LBMA, the London Bullion Market
- 9:51Association for pricing silver and gold in their big national
- 9:56ETFs. And look at this International
- 9:59Stacker pulled up some incredible data in terms of what
- 10:03we're seeing now just at the beginning of this process.
- 10:07He says India's gold and silver premium over the Comex and the
- 10:13LBMA is widening. E verse W Divergent is
- 10:17accelerating again, guys, this is so important because India
- 10:21and China are becoming the dominant forces the price
- 10:25setters on in the worldwide gold and silver market.
- 10:29The gold and silver market aren't just in the United States
- 10:33and they're not just in in London, they are world
- 10:36worldwide, but India and China are becoming the dominant force.
- 10:40So the difference right just in the last few days because it
- 10:44started on April first since India started pricing silver on
- 10:49their own. Look the gold price up 8
- 10:52percent, 8%, seven percent, 7.8% silver price in India higher by
- 10:596.67.75.9 and 7.7% respectively. OK, India consistently trading
- 11:08at a 6 to 8% premium to international quote, UN quote
- 11:12benchmarks, the old school LBMA and COMEX with silver showing
- 11:17even stronger local strength. Frank, I wanted to see since
- 11:22we're out here and we talked about China, let's see if we can
- 11:28hold on here, see if we can find our friend, the Oriental Ghost
- 11:34and let's just check on the price in China.
- 11:36There he is, Mr. Oriental Ghost and come on, he's always so good
- 11:42about putting it out there. I don't see it today up here we
- 11:46go April 7th. Here's the Shanghai Gold, the
- 11:50Shanghai Gold Exchange and the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
- 11:54As you can see, right? And the one we really pay
- 11:57attention to is the Shanghai Gold Exchange, which is right
- 12:01here, SGE and their silver AG. This is their physical market
- 12:07closed at almost $81.00 per oz. That's their spot price in China
- 12:14and you got to have the physical metal to trade that in China.
- 12:19But let's go out there, $81.00 versus basically 72 here in our
- 12:26in London at the LBMA on the spot market.
- 12:29It's over, only down a dollar now.
- 12:31Hey guys, maybe we'll stick around here on the live stream a
- 12:34little bit longer and see just how high we can go.
- 12:37But is Fiat doomed? Get ready, we've got that the
- 12:40Francis Hunt, right? Super respected, very smart guy.
- 12:45The big picture that we always want to focus on with gold and
- 12:49silver is the fact that the Fiat money systems historically and
- 12:54currently have always basically lost value.
- 12:57And wait until you see. And we're going to learn
- 12:59something fascinating about what what a what a parabola is and
- 13:04how that relates directly to what's going on right now in the
- 13:08silver and gold market. I've got a short video for you
- 13:13to watch from Francis Hunt. This came from Bullion insights
- 13:18and Interviews. Mr. Francis says the Fiat
- 13:21currencies are compromised. Currencies are being debased all
- 13:26over the world. Gold and precious metals are
- 13:28safety plays for us, while debasement is a survival play
- 13:33for the Fiat money, right? That's that's all they can do is
- 13:37continue to print and debase and debase.
- 13:40But wait till you wait. I learned something interesting
- 13:43and we'll talk about that. But let's watch this one minute
- 13:46with Francis right now. Your gold accounts is your new
- 13:51unit of accounts. All fiats are compromised.
- 13:54We're in that Ernest Hemingway bankruptcy curve, I tend to call
- 13:58it, which is slowly at first, the debasement of money and then
- 14:02suddenly, very, very fast. That's what it does.
- 14:07It's called an inverse parabola. And the irony is gold when it
- 14:13is, going up does the exact opposite.
- 14:16I've got a glass in the way of my hand, so that's not the
- 14:19straightest line I've ever drawn.
- 14:21And if you add those two charts together, you get a straight
- 14:23line preservation in real terms. But because I just want to
- 14:28interrupt for one second, because to me this is
- 14:31fascinating. This is called a parabola,
- 14:34right? It's a, it's a line on a chart
- 14:37that is time goes by, the moves become more and more extreme,
- 14:43OK, in this case, up and down within shorter and shorter
- 14:47periods of time. So as you can see, it kind of
- 14:49just meanders along, meanders along and then woo down.
- 14:53That would be the Fiat currency. This is gold.
- 14:56Meanders along, meanders along and then Woo during shorter
- 15:00periods of time has more extreme moves.
- 15:03And with gold, this is to the upside.
- 15:06And what he says is, which is very interesting and true, that
- 15:09if you average them together, you get a straight line.
- 15:12That's what a lot of people mean by gold is kind of the mirror
- 15:16image of Fiat. OK, I will be quiet and let him
- 15:20finish explaining this to you. It's non linear.
- 15:23By that I mean it's a parabola. What's actually happened is the
- 15:26debasement of the dollar should have done something more linear,
- 15:30should have gone down like that. But because they lie a little
- 15:33and it's only a little, no one takes notes.
- 15:35It doesn't get priced in. What's happening here is all the
- 15:38debasement down to here with overreaction through emotions
- 15:43suddenly has to be caught up so you get a delayed reaction of
- 15:48catch up watch. The full video on our YouTube.
- 15:50OK, wow. Your gold.
- 15:52Hold on, Oz, Hold on. I'm coming back.
- 15:56I had never, I don't know about you, but I'd never really heard
- 15:59it explained that way and that simply, I really want to give
- 16:02Francis a tip of my hat, my tin boil hat or silver hat for
- 16:09explaining it, right? That those, the way the move is,
- 16:12the parabola like it because of lies and that doesn't it?
- 16:17It's like Wiley Coyote when he runs off the Cliff, right?
- 16:20We're kind of at that point now. It feels like.
- 16:23I don't like it. I'm not in favor, you know, the
- 16:25whole 1971 Nixon thing, whatever.
- 16:28But it really is true. Like we're at this point where
- 16:31the lies, they can keep it going, but then woof, right.
- 16:34Or like he said with Hemingway, Ernest Hemingway, who said
- 16:37somebody asked him, how did you go broke?
- 16:39And he said, well, little by little.
- 16:41And then all of a sudden it happened, OK.
- 16:44And they gold and silver, he started out by saying this.
- 16:47And guys, this is a big key fundamental, the big, big reason
- 16:52why we need to remember this gold is the new is the unit of
- 16:56account. A lot of us, including me then
- 16:59maybe you're in Europe, maybe you think in terms of EUR, I'm
- 17:02in the United States. I make the grave mistake of
- 17:05thinking in dollars instead of Oz of gold, ounces of silver.
- 17:10Silver and gold are the unit of account.
- 17:15I say it all the time. We say it down here in the
- 17:17basement. Silver and gold are the world's
- 17:20original reserve currencies. People talk about all the
- 17:23dollars, the world's reserve currency.
- 17:25The British pound was the world's reserve currency.
- 17:27The Dutch, whatever was the world's reserve currency, the
- 17:30Spanish had the world, the Romans, Right, Whatever.
- 17:33OK. No.
- 17:34Gold and silver are the original and always world reserve current
- 17:39currencies. Gold and silver are the unit of
- 17:43account. That's what I believe.
- 17:45That's what just as I as I when, when, when we factors that make
- 17:48sense, when you factor in like what we know about history and
- 17:52what we know about even what's going on right now.
- 17:55And we know right, the world central banks happen to be
- 17:58buying a boatload of gold, literally, that that is indeed
- 18:02the case and most likely will be the case.
- 18:05Judy Shelton, we're going to talk about her next.
- 18:08She had been nominated to be on the Federal Reserve Board, but
- 18:12she's got some really wild ideas about what could, what we as a
- 18:16country in the United States could do with gold.
- 18:20And it's something that I think gold and silver bugs will find
- 18:23very, very interesting. Before I do that, I do want to
- 18:26say thank you. The channel sponsor, First
- 18:29Meant, guys, if you haven't checked out First Meant, I would
- 18:32recommend you give them a shot. If you're in the retail silver
- 18:36bullion market, that's all they do.
- 18:38They are the silver bullion specialist.
- 18:41It's very unique company because they're owned by First Majestic
- 18:44Silver who mines the silver in Mexico, ships the silver to 1st
- 18:50Mint in Las Vegas, NV, where they create these unbelievable
- 18:54unique world class silver bullion products like this.
- 18:59The backside of their Buffalo Round, absolutely love that, you
- 19:03know that, but then it goes straight to you, literally from
- 19:06the mine to the meant to you. I think it's safe to say it's
- 19:09the freshest silver on the market.
- 19:11I don't know of anybody else who actually does that.
- 19:14Mine's the silver, mints the silver and then gets it directly
- 19:19to the customer. They have great customer
- 19:21service, great selection, great prices, a fast shipping, you
- 19:25guys, I could go on and on, but it just provided unbelievable
- 19:29positive impact if they really offer a premium retail
- 19:34experience for anyone out there, US basement dwellers looking to
- 19:38buy silver. So thank you.
- 19:40First meant for sponsoring Ron's basement.
- 19:43OK, Judy Shelton, I promised you.
- 19:45OK Remember, Donald Trump nominated her to be on the
- 19:49Federal Reserve, to be a board member on the Federal Reserve,
- 19:53and then Joe Biden revoked it when he became president.
- 19:57But wait till you hear what Judy is proposing.
- 20:02This actually comes from Coin Telegraph, which is a big crypto
- 20:07news source. They have just under 3,000,000
- 20:10followers, OK? They're a crypto media company
- 20:13and they're talking about this. That just then, uh oh, what?
- 20:17Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Did I screw that up?
- 20:20I did OK. We'll go back because that's
- 20:25another guy I forgot. But wait, there's more because
- 20:27there's another crazy gold story.
- 20:30But first we'll do Judy Shelton, who herself posted this.
- 20:33How many followers does Judy have?
- 20:35Almost 90,000 Big account, she said.
- 20:39Here's a useful visual, which this is.
- 20:41She's referring to this down here, the visual that shows that
- 20:44the United States has the most gold of any country in the
- 20:48world. She says the United States has
- 20:51the most dominant global reserve currency and the highest level
- 20:56of official gold reserves. We should play our strengths and
- 21:00combine them through a new initiative enabling stable coins
- 21:05backed by gold convertible long term Treasury bonds.
- 21:10Woof, that's a that's a a mouthful.
- 21:12Stable coins that would be backed by gold convertible long
- 21:17term treasury bonds. They're talking about issuing
- 21:20long term. She's proposing issuing long
- 21:23term treasury bonds backed by gold.
- 21:26It would be a 1-2 punch in support of sound money and
- 21:31establishing a solid foundation for productive economic growth.
- 21:37And Judy Shelton pull some serious weight and this is not
- 21:40the first time that she's talked about this backing the dollar in
- 21:44some form or fashion with gold in the now her latest idea is
- 21:50stable coin backed a stable coins backed by gold convertible
- 21:53long term treasury bonds could be very, very interesting in
- 21:58particular when you consider this.
- 22:00You know, we talked about it earlier, all right, and I and it
- 22:03and it and it's an absolute fact.
- 22:06Yes, gold and silver are the unit of measure.
- 22:09Gold and silver are the world's original reserve currencies
- 22:13because coin Telegraph why I mentioned earlier, which is a
- 22:16crypto media company with almost 3,000,000 followers put this
- 22:20out. Gold trading volume surged to
- 22:23about 361 billion dollars per day in 2025.
- 22:30That now exceeds Treasury bills, major foreign exchange pairs,
- 22:36and even the combined activity of top US stocks like Apple,
- 22:41NVIDIA, and Tesla. And look at this chart, guys.
- 22:45Tell that this tells us how gold has absolutely reclaimed its
- 22:51status as the world's original reserve currency.
- 22:54Nothing is even close to the gold line.
- 22:57The second one down, make sure you can see that for gold.
- 23:01I mean it's unbelievable. And that breaks down over the
- 23:06counter trading other exchanges and ETS, but nothing is even
- 23:11close. Treasuries about half as much as
- 23:14we're seeing in gold. My only complaint about this
- 23:17chart, and I'm sure yours is too, is where is silver because
- 23:20it wasn't too long ago and I don't think that it remains in
- 23:24that position. But there was a time not too
- 23:26long ago where silver was the world's second most second most
- 23:32valuable asset period. So it's going to be wild.
- 23:35Look, we're going to be in for a very interesting afternoon.
- 23:38Let's run out to make sure there hasn't been any breaking news.
- 23:42And then we can we can check on that real simply by checking on
- 23:47the gold and silver price. OK, Silver now down only $0.88,
- 23:51gold up $17.00 dollars and $0.40.
- 23:55So there does not appear that we've had any big breaking news.
- 23:58But again, later on today, for those of you who've joined us in
- 24:02the basement here a little bit late, it's going to be a crazy
- 24:06headline driven noisy rest of the day.
- 24:09If we get some form or fashion of a ceasefire or something that
- 24:15eludes to the fact that the level of violence in the Middle
- 24:19East is going to be temporarily at least decreased.
- 24:23We will see the oil price shoot down, the dollar will go down
- 24:29and gold and silver will spike upwards.
- 24:32OK. Depending on how real and how
- 24:37effective the market thinks that any type of ceasefire or
- 24:41announcement of reduction in conflict in the Middle East may
- 24:45or may not be OK. If indeed we get to this 8:00 PM
- 24:49Eastern cut off time and there is more violence that breaks out
- 24:55in the Middle East, it could be very bearish for the gold and
- 24:59silver price. The dollar could go up, oil
- 25:02could go up, gold and silver temporarily could go down.
- 25:05But remember, at the end of the day, right, even in that
- 25:09scenario, we don't like it. That's not I, I'm, I personally
- 25:13am a kind of an anti war guy. This is not a political show and
- 25:18you don't really care about my personal beliefs in that regard.
- 25:20But but even if we do get that in the in the level of conflict
- 25:25escalates, OK, in the long run, under either scenario, the gold
- 25:32and silver price are going to go much, much higher in the coming
- 25:36months, quarters and years, OK, and decades for that matter, OK
- 25:41Because inflation at the end of the day, right?
- 25:46The higher inflation goes, the more negative the real interest
- 25:50rates become. In negative, real interest rates
- 25:53are good, supportive for the price of gold and silver.
- 25:57Look, we don't like it. We don't like war.
- 25:59We don't like what's going on with the dollar, OK?
- 26:02I mean, I like what the founding fathers of the United States
- 26:05stood for, but there's nothing we can do.
- 26:08Like we aren't making these decisions, but we can pull our
- 26:12head out of the sand and keep a close eye on what's going on.
- 26:16I think we're going to be great. Thank you for joining me down in
- 26:18the basement. Please subscribe to the channel
- 26:21if you haven't already. Give this a thumbs up.
- 26:24It takes. All you got to do is press that
- 26:25thumbs up button. That'll help get the word out to
- 26:28more and more people that very few people in the United States
- 26:31really are aware of what's going on with the fiscal situation,
- 26:36from the monetary situation and in the big, big benefits that
- 26:41looking at precious metals, gold and silver can provide.
- 26:44So the more people that we can help spread the word to, the
- 26:48better. Most importantly, thank you for
- 26:50being here. Your time is valuable.
- 26:52We appreciate you on behalf of upstairs Susie, she's out
- 26:56running errands. She said to say hi to everybody.
- 26:59Thank you guys so, so much and have a great day.
- 27:03OK, And I'll see you. And yeah, you're right.
- 27:06I see you. We'll see you next time.
- 27:08Bye. Bye.
