- 0:05Speaker 1: Hello, my love, Welcome back to the Gift Them La
- 0:08Speaker 1: La Podcast. It is hump Day, which is like one
- 0:11Speaker 1: of my most favorite days of the week, mostly because
- 0:13Speaker 1: I get to listen to myself yet again. I have
- 0:16Speaker 1: a really fun guest and I learned about you on
- 0:19Speaker 1: Watch What Happens Live. Yeah, with friend I have Tyler Cameron,
- 0:26Speaker 1: and we were just talking about how the trolls were
- 0:28Speaker 1: out to play because when I had Brinn on, I said,
- 0:31Speaker 1: it was very random that you were from Florida. And
- 0:34Speaker 1: are they called Floridians Floridians. Yeah, the Floridians came for me.
- 0:39Speaker 1: First of all, Hi, how are you doing?
- 0:40Speaker 2: Great? Great to be here.
- 0:41Speaker 3: We just shove it right in no loop here.
- 0:44Speaker 2: That's great? Great?
- 0:46Speaker 3: Oh my god, down and dutch it. I love it.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Right A boy hasn't made me blush in a long time.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Right you may you are on more Flordians?
- 1:00Speaker 1: Oh, lett him go. I don't know about that, Maybe
- 1:03Speaker 1: just you, Okay.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Why you were telling me?
- 1:06Speaker 1: If I learned who was from Jupiter Florida, it wouldn't
- 1:10Speaker 1: be so random.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Yeah. I think Jupiter has like completely exploded like recent years,
- 1:15Speaker 2: like Michael Jordan Tiger Woods being a Serena. Like every
- 1:19Speaker 2: golfer you could think of lives there. Nick Saban just
- 1:21Speaker 2: bought a house, Like a lot of NFL coaches lived there,
- 1:24Speaker 2: like some like Slimianni used to live there, Like Jupiter's
- 1:26Speaker 2: a crazy place.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Where in Florida?
- 1:28Speaker 2: Is this just above Palm Beach?
- 1:30Speaker 3: Oh? So it's like fabulous, fabulous?
- 1:34Speaker 4: Yes, don't they have amazing golf courses out there?
- 1:36Speaker 2: To amazing golf courses we have like the best inter
- 1:38Speaker 2: coastal waterways, like the best boating.
- 1:40Speaker 3: I love all of those things.
- 1:42Speaker 1: You like it, I would love it because coming from Utah,
- 1:45Speaker 1: that's very random. So I feel like I'm allowed to
- 1:48Speaker 1: tell someone like WHOA where you're from is random? Because
- 1:50Speaker 1: when you come from Utah, it's.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Like, or you should just get out of La More,
- 1:54Speaker 2: or I should.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Get out of La More. I've been here ten years
- 1:57Speaker 1: and it's suffocating. You spend a lot of time here, No,
- 2:00Speaker 1: you're so lucky.
- 2:02Speaker 5: I like to think, so why don't you spend a
- 2:03Speaker 5: lot of time here? Do you spend a lot of
- 2:04Speaker 5: time in New York?
- 2:05Speaker 2: La is great? I think it's grown on me. My
- 2:08Speaker 2: first experience here was awful. They put me in a
- 2:10Speaker 2: hotel for like three months in downtown Lay.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Why.
- 2:14Speaker 2: I was shooting a show, like a Quibie show back
- 2:16Speaker 2: in the day, Okay, And so I was like, well,
- 2:18Speaker 2: I don't ever want to live in this place ever again,
- 2:21Speaker 2: you know. But I think in recent years I've had
- 2:23Speaker 2: some friends from back home moved to like Venice Beach
- 2:25Speaker 2: and stuff like that, and I hang around those areas.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I can get down with that more totally.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Yeah, the West Side is where it's at. But we
- 2:32Speaker 1: were talking about how you used to go. You call
- 2:34Speaker 1: it Zion. I call it Zion. You wrote about that
- 2:37Speaker 1: place in your book, which is in southern Utah.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Yep, I have never been.
- 2:42Speaker 2: It's crazy you're from there. I'm from the place apparently
- 2:44Speaker 2: in St. George, like right around the corner, Like what are.
- 2:46Speaker 3: You doing right around the corner?
- 2:48Speaker 1: And people always ask me about all these great places
- 2:50Speaker 1: in Utah, the skiing.
- 2:53Speaker 3: I feel like, where you're.
- 2:54Speaker 1: From, that's where I should have been, because I just
- 2:55Speaker 1: want to be on a boat and cover myself in
- 2:58Speaker 1: sunscreen every single day.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Thrived.
- 3:00Speaker 3: I would have thrived.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Well, never know, never know, unless we get married and
- 3:04Speaker 1: have babies, all right, Well, which then I'll make you
- 3:07Speaker 1: sign something that says you must go away after is that?
- 3:09Speaker 2: Okay? I think it might be positive for our relationships,
- 3:13Speaker 2: So it goes that way.
- 3:14Speaker 5: He's down.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Okay.
- 3:17Speaker 1: So for you first stepped onto this scene, were you
- 3:21Speaker 1: the bachelor or were you a contestant?
- 3:25Speaker 3: What was that like for you?
- 3:26Speaker 2: It was a blast? You know. I see a lot
- 3:28Speaker 2: of stuff about how hard reality television can be, and
- 3:31Speaker 2: I think it takes a special person to get into
- 3:33Speaker 2: that space and really do it. For me, it was
- 3:36Speaker 2: it was a lot of fun. I don't take myself
- 3:38Speaker 2: too seriously. I have fun. And it was me and
- 3:41Speaker 2: a bunch of dudes in a house playing spades every day,
- 3:43Speaker 2: drinking beer, having fun, and we get to talk to
- 3:46Speaker 2: a girl every now and then, and we get to
- 3:47Speaker 2: try and build a relationship with her like it and
- 3:49Speaker 2: travel the world. Like what's not cool or fun about that?
- 3:51Speaker 3: Right? I think the hardest part would be getting out
- 3:54Speaker 3: of that limo.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I blacked out. Yeah when I came out
- 3:58Speaker 2: of that limo, I had no idea I had this
- 4:00Speaker 2: whole thing I was gonna say. I remember, I was like,
- 4:02Speaker 2: I traveled all these miles just to see you smile,
- 4:05Speaker 2: like some corny shit.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Like that, you know, so they don't they don't give
- 4:08Speaker 3: you what you have to say.
- 4:09Speaker 2: They try to help you, you know, so you don't
- 4:11Speaker 2: completely like look like a complete bore, you know. And
- 4:15Speaker 2: so I had the whole line. I was the last
- 4:17Speaker 2: person to go. So I watched everybody go. I watched
- 4:19Speaker 2: everybody do their thing. It was like twelve thirty by
- 4:22Speaker 2: a time I got to go, I was and I
- 4:23Speaker 2: still came out there and like blacked out and like
- 4:26Speaker 2: I had no idea what.
- 4:26Speaker 3: I was saying, Oh, you lost all your game.
- 4:29Speaker 2: No, never lose my game. But never that it went
- 4:32Speaker 2: the robot mode.
- 4:33Speaker 1: It just it just kept going, oh, really, yeah, because
- 4:36Speaker 1: some of those moments are cringey. Like I've I have
- 4:38Speaker 1: to be honest, I've never watched The Bachelor or Bachelorette.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I watched the first episode of the Golden Bachelor, and
- 4:45Speaker 1: I'm like, Mom, if this guy appeared in your life,
- 4:49Speaker 1: I would be totally fine calling him step dad, like
- 4:52Speaker 1: he's amazing. But some of those women coming out, I'm like,
- 4:55Speaker 1: this feels like the hardest part, and it was like
- 4:58Speaker 1: a little cringey.
- 4:58Speaker 3: But because they're like kind of older, it's sweet.
- 5:01Speaker 2: But so like, here's the thing I think like when
- 5:04Speaker 2: you come out, they're going to give you some crazy
- 5:06Speaker 2: ideas to do, you know, and some people they pitch
- 5:08Speaker 2: them to and and they can come out like an idiot,
- 5:11Speaker 2: and it's on you just say yes or no to things.
- 5:13Speaker 2: And I think you try and balance this line of
- 5:15Speaker 2: like I'm trying to do good by the producers because
- 5:17Speaker 2: you think they're gonna help you stay on and stay
- 5:19Speaker 2: alive longer, you know, So like the producers will come
- 5:22Speaker 2: up with the ideas all the time, you should do this,
- 5:24Speaker 2: you do that. I'm like, no, I'm not gonna do that.
- 5:26Speaker 2: And then I see someone else do it. I'm like,
- 5:28Speaker 2: thank god, I didn't do that. And then like they
- 5:31Speaker 2: were like, let's go grab flowers. I was like, I'll
- 5:33Speaker 2: do that, Like that's something I would do, you know.
- 5:36Speaker 2: And so but I guess maybe I was a little
- 5:38Speaker 2: bit of a bore to them, but because I didn't
- 5:40Speaker 2: do all the crazy dumb stuff they wanted me to do.
- 5:42Speaker 2: I would do some funny shit, but like I wouldn't
- 5:44Speaker 2: have to do with her.
- 5:45Speaker 5: But you made it pretty far right.
- 5:47Speaker 6: This is Hannah Brown season, by the way, which I
- 5:50Speaker 6: didn't watch, but I've seen clips from and that was
- 5:52Speaker 6: a great season.
- 5:54Speaker 5: You made it too. It was number two, number two?
- 5:56Speaker 3: Got it?
- 5:57Speaker 1: Oh you didn't do they give roses on the Bachelorette? Yes,
- 6:00Speaker 1: So you just didn't.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Get the rows.
- 6:02Speaker 2: I didn't get the last one.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Why do you think that was?
- 6:05Speaker 2: I think I don't think she believed. I think we
- 6:08Speaker 2: really liked each other a lot. I think she I
- 6:11Speaker 2: was always the like kind of the guy coming from behind,
- 6:13Speaker 2: like the guy she had. The relationship was always a
- 6:16Speaker 2: strong relationship from the start, and our relationship didn't get
- 6:18Speaker 2: stronger towards the end. And uh, probably because I was
- 6:21Speaker 2: a little bit shy at first. Okay, like I didn't
- 6:23Speaker 2: I didn't speak to it for like the first two days. Really, Yeah,
- 6:27Speaker 2: and then I don't know, when it comes to like
- 6:28Speaker 2: crazy settings, I kind of like take a step back,
- 6:31Speaker 2: and then like I introduced to myself slowly.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Oh you you retreat?
- 6:35Speaker 1: Yeah, when you signed up to do that show, like
- 6:39Speaker 1: were you looking for love?
- 6:41Speaker 3: Like?
- 6:41Speaker 2: How old were you looking for an adventure? I was
- 6:43Speaker 2: twenty six, so you.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Were How old are you now?
- 6:45Speaker 2: Thirty?
- 6:46Speaker 1: Okay, so you you were a baby then you're still
- 6:49Speaker 1: kind of a baby now. Men mature much differently than.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Women, I'd say I agree with that.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Yes, I think most people would. So you were looking
- 7:00Speaker 1: for an adventure. You didn't know if you'd find love,
- 7:02Speaker 1: but you were just kind of throwing it to the universe.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, And like it was. If I it happened
- 7:07Speaker 2: and I started like this girl on the show, it
- 7:09Speaker 2: then great, I chase it, and that's what did happen.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Like I really did like this girl. I think there
- 7:12Speaker 2: could have been a future, and I chased it, you know,
- 7:14Speaker 2: and I gave it. I gave her my all, gave
- 7:16Speaker 2: the show my all. I just put it like I
- 7:18Speaker 2: don't like to do anything calculated or contrived, Like I
- 7:21Speaker 2: just if I'm gonna do something and do something.
- 7:23Speaker 3: I love that commitment. It's hard to find it is.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Do they allow men or women to be a contestant
- 7:33Speaker 1: if they have been married before and have children?
- 7:35Speaker 3: Yeah, they do, because that can get sticky.
- 7:39Speaker 2: You can't.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Right.
- 7:40Speaker 2: That's good TV, isn't it.
- 7:41Speaker 3: It's great TV?
- 7:42Speaker 1: But I feel like if I'm going onto a show,
- 7:45Speaker 1: whether I'm competing or I'm making the choice, like I
- 7:50Speaker 1: I'm not doing that for any other reason than I
- 7:53Speaker 1: have tried to find love.
- 7:54Speaker 3: And it's just not happening.
- 7:56Speaker 2: I thought I've heard of like engagements being broken off
- 7:59Speaker 2: to go on the show, or like people like like
- 8:02Speaker 2: getting in the middle of a divorce going on the show.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Like I think things like that have happened.
- 8:07Speaker 6: I'm sure crazy, And don't they bring them on this.
- 8:11Speaker 6: You don't have to confirm or deny this because it
- 8:13Speaker 6: might be a little spicy of a question. But I've
- 8:15Speaker 6: heard that they really pry into your life before casting
- 8:19Speaker 6: you officially on the show.
- 8:21Speaker 5: I'm talking like bank account like.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Oh they do, like do they do hot ground?
- 8:26Speaker 2: They didn't do my bank account. They heard of me
- 8:28Speaker 2: quick really yeah, like two hundred bucks to my name.
- 8:32Speaker 2: I would have not been.
- 8:33Speaker 6: The guy for that really, like credit checks all.
- 8:35Speaker 5: That they don't know.
- 8:37Speaker 2: They do like a deep dive, like making sure you
- 8:39Speaker 2: haven't done any like serious crimes or done anything wrong
- 8:42Speaker 2: like that. But yeah, I was broke as a joke
- 8:45Speaker 2: going on that show. I was like, yeah, I'm a
- 8:47Speaker 2: general contract I got my license, I haven't made a
- 8:49Speaker 2: dollar doing it yet. I was in the middle of
- 8:50Speaker 2: building my first house.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Well that's great for people to know.
- 8:54Speaker 1: You don't have to be rich to go like you
- 8:56Speaker 1: can just be like an average Tyler to go on the.
- 8:59Speaker 3: Show that right.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Yeah, So where are you at now with love?
- 9:05Speaker 3: Are you searching for it? Are you in a relationship.
- 9:07Speaker 2: I'm definitely putting myself back out there in dating, and
- 9:09Speaker 2: you know, but I'm doing it back home like I'm
- 9:11Speaker 2: doing it in Jupiter.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:13Speaker 2: You know, I've kind of built my whole world ever
- 9:16Speaker 2: since COVID happened. I came back to Jupiter. I was
- 9:18Speaker 2: living in New York City and came back to Jupiter
- 9:21Speaker 2: and I kind of just settled down there and I
- 9:23Speaker 2: realized that this is where I need to be. Not
- 9:25Speaker 2: want to be, but I need to be here for
- 9:27Speaker 2: just like my own sanity, and like I need to
- 9:29Speaker 2: work every day. I need to have a job, like
- 9:31Speaker 2: I have my construction company again, I have restaurants, I
- 9:34Speaker 2: have my foundation. So like I'm always doing something damn
- 9:37Speaker 2: every day. And if I wasn't, like in New York, LA,
- 9:39Speaker 2: I'd just be waiting for the next gig or the
- 9:41Speaker 2: next job, and I couldn't do it right. I would
- 9:44Speaker 2: be in the streets.
- 9:45Speaker 6: And you just just because I creeped your Instagram, you
- 9:47Speaker 6: just bought a house to flip, right, Yep, that's cool.
- 9:50Speaker 5: So you're doing that under your construction company.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, So, I mean I'm probably gonna live in
- 9:54Speaker 2: it for a few years, but it's my next project.
- 9:57Speaker 2: I just did nine renovations.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Wow, so that's a lot.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a beast kicked my ass.
- 10:03Speaker 3: And then what's your foundation?
- 10:05Speaker 2: I started a foundation on my mother. She passed away
- 10:08Speaker 2: right before COVID happened. And so now we give out
- 10:11Speaker 2: full scholarships to students. Somebody do some community redevelopment that
- 10:14Speaker 2: we're about to dive into. But we just we just
- 10:17Speaker 2: added up, we gave out We've gone out one hundred
- 10:19Speaker 2: and seventy five thousand dollars in scholarships in the past
- 10:22Speaker 2: two years. We got we have five girls now in
- 10:26Speaker 2: her full scholarship. To our first girls are like like
- 10:29Speaker 2: three quarters of the ways of scholarship.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Wow.
- 10:31Speaker 2: And so this year we're hoping to give tim more
- 10:33Speaker 2: kids full tuition.
- 10:34Speaker 1: And what what are like the guidelines? Is there something
- 10:36Speaker 1: that they have to follow in order to get the scholarship?
- 10:40Speaker 2: Well, uh, you know, I made it so like someone
- 10:43Speaker 2: like me can get it, you know, yeah, because I
- 10:45Speaker 2: was no good student. So like you got to have
- 10:47Speaker 2: like a three zero, which is like a B average,
- 10:49Speaker 2: you know, but community service, be a leader and interview.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Well that's so incredible.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's my pride and joy.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Well as it should be.
- 10:57Speaker 1: That's really amazing. I was never great in school. Can
- 11:00Speaker 1: I tell you, Like, first of all, I don't listen.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I'm listening to you, but like you put me in
- 11:05Speaker 1: a school setting and I check out, and then if
- 11:09Speaker 1: you asked me to read something and then retain what
- 11:11Speaker 1: I read, And that's just when someone tells me they
- 11:14Speaker 1: went to college, I'm like, so you can retain knowledge
- 11:16Speaker 1: and I respect that.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Did you go to college?
- 11:19Speaker 2: Where'd you go? I went to Wake Forest undergrad and
- 11:22Speaker 2: then FA for grad school.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Amazing.
- 11:24Speaker 2: But I was never like a good student. I just
- 11:25Speaker 2: like learned to be. I had like I had to
- 11:28Speaker 2: because I wanted to play football and that was my drink.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Oh you're a football player, I was. Yeah, you were a.
- 11:34Speaker 2: College played college ball, got cut by the Ravens twice.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Got then I got hurt trying to go back into
- 11:39Speaker 2: the league and that was it.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Got it there.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Yeah, that's amazing.
- 11:41Speaker 5: Yeah, you audition or whatever audition.
- 11:45Speaker 2: I did my little dance for cheerleading.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Easton, and I grew up in a household that his
- 11:52Speaker 1: brother's sister. Yeah, this is my brother the Ravens. Because
- 11:56Speaker 1: I was obsessed with Ray Lewis the Man, the Man.
- 11:59Speaker 1: So we grew up in a household where it was
- 12:01Speaker 1: like we were Utons who were like, go Ravens.
- 12:06Speaker 3: How random is that?
- 12:09Speaker 4: I think?
- 12:10Speaker 2: So? Do we even stranger?
- 12:13Speaker 5: I don't love Utahon.
- 12:14Speaker 3: It is a uh.
- 12:15Speaker 1: In fact, there was a point in time where I
- 12:17Speaker 1: said my next baby was going to be named Utah,
- 12:20Speaker 1: and then I presented this to my friends and they were.
- 12:22Speaker 3: All like, Vito that I like the name.
- 12:25Speaker 5: I do too.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Isn't it kind of sick?
- 12:26Speaker 2: I think? Isn't like, isn't there a movie with God?
- 12:30Speaker 2: What's his name? We got from Dirty Dancing where he
- 12:32Speaker 2: was Nam and then the guy who everyone loves. I
- 12:36Speaker 2: think his name is like Johnny Utah?
- 12:38Speaker 3: Yes, that is absolutely what's that movie? Correct?
- 12:40Speaker 1: I don't know the movie, but I break point break
- 12:43Speaker 1: there we go. Yes, so someone did make it cool,
- 12:46Speaker 1: but my friends didn't dig it. Do you want children,
- 12:49Speaker 1: I want a lot of them. I want to like
- 12:50Speaker 1: create a football team.
- 12:52Speaker 2: That's a lot. That's eleven players, So I need I
- 12:56Speaker 2: need to start in five.
- 12:57Speaker 3: I need a basketball team, basketball team.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, And and when you think about your life, right,
- 13:03Speaker 1: everything that's happened so far, is there someone that you
- 13:08Speaker 1: have in mind where you're like, this is the girl
- 13:11Speaker 1: that will forever be the one that got away, Like
- 13:13Speaker 1: if timing would have been different or if we could
- 13:15Speaker 1: have just changed this.
- 13:17Speaker 2: No, I'm glad they all went away.
- 13:19Speaker 5: Really, look at that good read egg.
- 13:21Speaker 2: No, yeah, I'm glad they all went away. Really, So
- 13:24Speaker 2: when I look back now, I'm like, thank god it
- 13:27Speaker 2: didn't work out, because I wouldn't be where I am today.
- 13:29Speaker 2: I think every rejection or failure like it's all gotten
- 13:34Speaker 2: me to a better place.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Wow.
- 13:36Speaker 1: I really didn't expect you to say that there's no
- 13:38Speaker 1: one that I'm like, damn, I wish you know.
- 13:40Speaker 2: No, And I've I've gone back and tried to check
- 13:42Speaker 2: those boxes and those boxes don't check.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Really. Yeah, the math don't mask math and math and
- 13:47Speaker 3: no more so, then.
- 13:47Speaker 5: What are you looking for? Tyler?
- 13:49Speaker 6: What's your ideal? What you're talking about? Checking boxes? That
- 13:53Speaker 6: made me think of are there? Do you have a list?
- 13:55Speaker 2: No, it's not necessarily a list. I live in Jupiter forty,
- 13:58Speaker 2: like I'm going to live there. My whole life. Like,
- 14:00Speaker 2: unless you have some crazy life that's gonna uproot me
- 14:03Speaker 2: in something, it's gonna blow whatever I have away. You
- 14:07Speaker 2: know that it's gonna be a lot to take me
- 14:08Speaker 2: out of Jupiter because I love my town, I love
- 14:12Speaker 2: my people, I love my community. I want to be
- 14:13Speaker 2: the high school fooball coach of Jupiter High School.
- 14:15Speaker 3: That is fucking adorable.
- 14:17Speaker 2: That is that's dope, that's yeah, It's what made me
- 14:20Speaker 2: and I want to just I always want to be
- 14:21Speaker 2: around it. You know. I got my family there. So
- 14:24Speaker 2: someone that wants to be in Jupiter is part of it,
- 14:27Speaker 2: you know. And it's kind of hard to find somebody
- 14:29Speaker 2: you're dating in New York earl like that wants to
- 14:31Speaker 2: do that. It sounds good when you're forty or fifty,
- 14:34Speaker 2: but not when you're in your twenties and thirties.
- 14:36Speaker 4: Is that a make or break.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Kind of it's not really necessarily a make or break.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Like I date outside of it, you know, But I
- 14:43Speaker 2: know now because I have all my work in Jupiter,
- 14:45Speaker 2: all my folks in jubiter, it's hard to really date
- 14:47Speaker 2: or talk to Like, I feel bad talking to anybody
- 14:49Speaker 2: outside of Jupiter because I don't give it as much.
- 14:52Speaker 2: If it's not on my face, I can't really do
- 14:53Speaker 2: much money.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Yeah, long distance is very very hard. So let's just
- 14:58Speaker 1: say you find this girl who's like, go Jupiter, never
- 15:01Speaker 1: want to leave, got it tatted on my back? What
- 15:04Speaker 1: else does she have to bring to the table besides
- 15:06Speaker 1: living in Jupiter?
- 15:07Speaker 2: You know, I think the one mantra I live by
- 15:11Speaker 2: is I through love, serve one another. And someone who's
- 15:12Speaker 2: just like willing to go out and serve and help
- 15:14Speaker 2: and take care of you know, whether it's the kids,
- 15:18Speaker 2: you know, the community, whoever it is, he's ready to go,
- 15:21Speaker 2: ready to help. But then also someone is ready for an adventure.
- 15:24Speaker 2: I love to go, I love to be out. And
- 15:27Speaker 2: then I don't know, I just wanted someone to build
- 15:29Speaker 2: something with, you know, I want someone to be alongside
- 15:31Speaker 2: of me when I'm renovating these houses and building this
- 15:34Speaker 2: business and trying to do these things. Like that's what
- 15:36Speaker 2: I want.
- 15:37Speaker 3: I love that.
- 15:38Speaker 5: That's beautiful.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Does she have to want a lot of kids?
- 15:42Speaker 2: No? I mean I always have as many kids as
- 15:43Speaker 2: I'm allowed to have, Okay, but then I'll probably start adopting.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Oh that's going to take a very special woman to
- 15:52Speaker 1: be like, I'll only pop out too, and then you
- 15:53Speaker 1: can adopt as many as you know. But I'm over here.
- 15:56Speaker 1: I only want to claim the two, all right. And
- 15:58Speaker 1: then does she need to work? Does she need to
- 16:00Speaker 1: have a job or could she be like a stay
- 16:02Speaker 1: at home wife and mama?
- 16:03Speaker 2: She she can be whatever she wants to be passionate about.
- 16:06Speaker 2: I think, if you want to be a stay at
- 16:08Speaker 2: home mom, be the best stay at home mom there is.
- 16:10Speaker 2: If you want to work, be the best work and
- 16:12Speaker 2: whatever you know it is. I think if you don't
- 16:15Speaker 2: do anything, if you don't have passion anything, you're going
- 16:17Speaker 2: to live a lifeless life. And I think then you
- 16:20Speaker 2: start looking to your partner for life, and that's a
- 16:23Speaker 2: terrible place to be. And so I would look, if
- 16:27Speaker 2: they want to work, be the best you can be
- 16:29Speaker 2: and I'll support it. If you want to be a mom,
- 16:30Speaker 2: be the best mom you can be, and I'll support it.
- 16:33Speaker 6: You're so cute, You're so cute, and you're so the
- 16:36Speaker 6: way you speak, and sitting on that couch, I'm looking
- 16:39Speaker 6: at you and I'm like, you know who you'd be
- 16:41Speaker 6: great with.
- 16:42Speaker 5: Brent.
- 16:44Speaker 3: He's just about to cut you. It's going to cut you.
- 16:47Speaker 5: Why didn't this work appen? Are you pursuing Brent? Is
- 16:51Speaker 5: she pursuing you? Or is it just like you guys
- 16:53Speaker 5: are chilling. I'm really out.
- 16:54Speaker 2: I think we're chilling. We're chilling right now.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Yeah, what does that mean? Like you just text and stuff.
- 16:59Speaker 2: I mean we talked little bit once like we had
- 17:00Speaker 2: all the wild run. But I said, it's so hard
- 17:04Speaker 2: for me to keep up because I'm I'm buried. I'm
- 17:07Speaker 2: buried with work. I'm buried with everything I'm doing back home.
- 17:11Speaker 2: I can't give myself really, I can't give anyone what
- 17:13Speaker 2: they deserve truly.
- 17:15Speaker 3: And she don't live in Jupiter. The number one on the.
- 17:19Speaker 2: List, number one, you got to be ready to come home.
- 17:21Speaker 1: You know, she didn't even make the first point the
- 17:24Speaker 1: check off.
- 17:25Speaker 2: But no, she is incredible and I loved like doing
- 17:28Speaker 2: that show at Brendan getting to know braink like we
- 17:30Speaker 2: had we had drinks and stuff afterwards. We had a
- 17:33Speaker 2: lot of fun and like Brin's a great girl.
- 17:36Speaker 5: She's great.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Brent could be that person, you know. But yeah, you know,
- 17:39Speaker 2: like I said, like I just I haven't given anything
- 17:41Speaker 2: any energy unless it's like around here in front of me,
- 17:43Speaker 2: just because I'm swamped.
- 17:48Speaker 1: You've got a lot to be swamped by. I mean,
- 17:50Speaker 1: you're on Special Forces this season. And by the way,
- 17:54Speaker 1: I just watched last season and my jaw was on
- 17:58Speaker 1: the floor.
- 17:58Speaker 3: I'm like, number one, this show is so good.
- 18:01Speaker 1: For a second, it was a turn off because I
- 18:02Speaker 1: had never heard of Special Forces, and then it was
- 18:04Speaker 1: like special Forces Tom Sandaval and I was like, you know,
- 18:09Speaker 1: I don't.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Know about this.
- 18:10Speaker 1: But then I watched the first season and was like,
- 18:14Speaker 1: this is so good and became obsessed. And you guys
- 18:19Speaker 1: are what two three episodes into your season?
- 18:21Speaker 2: Night will be our third episode.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Oh my god, I can't wait to watch. Okay, when
- 18:25Speaker 1: this came to you, had you seen the show before?
- 18:28Speaker 1: Did you know what you were getting into?
- 18:29Speaker 2: So they came to me about like a week and
- 18:31Speaker 2: a half before we're supposed to leave for the show,
- 18:34Speaker 2: and they're like, yeah, we want you this show, and
- 18:37Speaker 2: I was I was into it, Like I just got
- 18:39Speaker 2: done working on like a big project and I was
- 18:42Speaker 2: beating up. I was like, all right, this will be
- 18:43Speaker 2: like a vacation for me. And because every time I
- 18:45Speaker 2: get like these chances to go do like these shows,
- 18:47Speaker 2: I'm like, this is this is fun. This is not work,
- 18:50Speaker 2: you know. And so so I was like, I'm out,
- 18:53Speaker 2: I'll go I'll go to this show. My agent was like, no,
- 18:55Speaker 2: I don't think you should do it. It's a competition show.
- 18:57Speaker 2: You don't want to be known for doing competition shows
- 18:59Speaker 2: all the time. And I was like, all right, well,
- 19:02Speaker 2: let me let me watch the show. Let me get
- 19:03Speaker 2: back to you. Watch the show. I was like, this
- 19:06Speaker 2: is easy. I got this, like, this is just Hollywood
- 19:08Speaker 2: foo foo. This ain't gonna be that hard. Told my agent,
- 19:11Speaker 2: Like we talked that the next day. We kind of
- 19:13Speaker 2: got a whole different opinion about the show after seeing it.
- 19:16Speaker 2: It's not it's not a competition show. It's it's not
- 19:18Speaker 2: that it's a completely different genre. And so when when
- 19:22Speaker 2: I said yes, I was like, yeah, I mean it's
- 19:24Speaker 2: not gonna be that hard either, Like it's just foof
- 19:27Speaker 2: foo Hollywood la, Like they just drive around in cars.
- 19:29Speaker 2: They're not really running, they're not really actually doing hard stuff.
- 19:33Speaker 2: I was fucking wrong. It's the hardest damn thing I've
- 19:36Speaker 2: ever did. And I was a football guy, Like I've
- 19:38Speaker 2: done crazy training, I've you know, gone to I puked
- 19:41Speaker 2: and they killed me and all these things. Nah, this
- 19:43Speaker 2: was a whole other level.
- 19:44Speaker 5: It's insane.
- 19:46Speaker 6: I'm obsessed with this season, by the way, absolutely obsessed,
- 19:49Speaker 6: and I'm blown away by like Jojo c was on
- 19:52Speaker 6: at Savannah Chris Lee des Bryant.
- 19:54Speaker 5: I'm not gonna spoil anything for anyone, but.
- 19:56Speaker 6: I'm already shocked at who's gone home and who's stayed
- 20:01Speaker 6: and who's like really done amazing at the challenges because
- 20:04Speaker 6: I you see a show like this, you watch season
- 20:07Speaker 6: one and I'm like, Oh, the strong men are going
- 20:10Speaker 6: to come out on top.
- 20:10Speaker 5: That's just how it's going to be. It's all about strength.
- 20:13Speaker 5: But it's not.
- 20:13Speaker 2: There's the women.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Who I mean, women push life out of their career.
- 20:21Speaker 2: All right, y'all have a mental engine that just doesn't stop.
- 20:25Speaker 7: And this is a mental game from what I've seen,
- 20:28Speaker 7: Like there's some things that you got to go through,
- 20:30Speaker 7: but like a lot of it is mental toughness and health.
- 20:32Speaker 7: Like yeah, like you would say, do to endure mentally.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Because only only reason why you want to quit at
- 20:40Speaker 2: things like because the physical stuff is hard, it's because
- 20:44Speaker 2: your mind's quitting. But what the staff shows you and
- 20:47Speaker 2: teaches you is there's so much more in the tank
- 20:50Speaker 2: than you ever put out there and like they've got
- 20:53Speaker 2: like like I can't wait for I want to see
- 20:55Speaker 2: next episode because they've gotten more out of me than
- 20:58Speaker 2: I've ever gotten out of myself. Really yeah, And but
- 21:01Speaker 2: it's because there's mental limitations you put on yourself.
- 21:04Speaker 6: So this you're talking episode three. So by the time
- 21:06Speaker 6: this airs, episode three will have come out. But obviously
- 21:09Speaker 6: you can't spoil anything.
- 21:11Speaker 1: But who's gone home so far? Oh, Black China or
- 21:14Speaker 1: Angela Angela Tara?
- 21:16Speaker 2: And does Bryant Tara Reid?
- 21:17Speaker 6: Does Bryant? That's who I was shocked on. I guess
- 21:19Speaker 6: we're spoiling. I was shocked. Does Bryant Tara Reid? By
- 21:23Speaker 6: the way, I don't know why I feel this way
- 21:25Speaker 6: toward her? She seems like an angel of a human
- 21:28Speaker 6: And you were you helped her out right, like you
- 21:30Speaker 6: carried her bag? How is she in real life? Is
- 21:32Speaker 6: she a sweet angel?
- 21:33Speaker 2: She is sweet, you know, And it's I feel like
- 21:36Speaker 2: she's had just the hardest time, you know, in Hollywood,
- 21:40Speaker 2: And I feel like it's it's a machine to choose
- 21:41Speaker 2: you up, to spit you out, you know. And I
- 21:44Speaker 2: feel like she's suffered through a lot of bullying, a
- 21:46Speaker 2: lot of you know, it's it's hard. I think we've
- 21:48Speaker 2: all been through these moments in the light where the
- 21:51Speaker 2: people come after you, you know, and she's probably had
- 21:54Speaker 2: way more than a lot of us have.
- 21:56Speaker 3: The trolls are alive, and yeah, like.
- 21:59Speaker 2: People read this. Everyone will tell you they don't read
- 22:02Speaker 2: people will read it, you know, and that's no matter what.
- 22:05Speaker 2: That messes with your mind.
- 22:06Speaker 1: And I saw a lot of things on socials that
- 22:08Speaker 1: people were saying about Tarry and I'm like, how could
- 22:11Speaker 1: someone like write this about another human being? So I'm
- 22:15Speaker 1: sure you got to meet a lot of people on
- 22:18Speaker 1: this show, and did you have any like going into
- 22:22Speaker 1: it where you're like, oh, this person I know was
- 22:24Speaker 1: going to be this way. This person, I mean Scandival
- 22:28Speaker 1: was happening you met, you met him, I kept want
- 22:31Speaker 1: I don't want to call him Scandabal because he's not Scannabal.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Sand of all, I'm like getting all tongue tied.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Did you know that that existed? Were you balls deep
- 22:39Speaker 1: in that before you got to know him?
- 22:41Speaker 2: Just a tip I was not balls I knew a
- 22:44Speaker 2: little bit about it.
- 22:45Speaker 4: Did you get balls deep?
- 22:47Speaker 2: Everyone else around? I was kind of like association, I
- 22:50Speaker 2: guess we're a gang banging Tom about it, you know everything.
- 22:53Speaker 3: People have a lot of questions for him.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Yeah, like it was talked about a ton you know,
- 22:57Speaker 2: like like just for instance, like they didn't show us
- 23:00Speaker 2: part but it was so funny, like we are just
- 23:02Speaker 2: getting on the vans to meet each other and we're
- 23:04Speaker 2: all doing intros of each other and Tom goes, I'm
- 23:08Speaker 2: Tom Sandoval and Jack Osborne goes, oh, looks like we
- 23:11Speaker 2: have a scandalbal but not. But then he goes, then
- 23:16Speaker 2: Tom kind of like She's like, yep, yeah, I was
- 23:19Speaker 2: involved in the scandal. And then he didn't.
- 23:21Speaker 3: But you are a scandal. You were just in all buddy,
- 23:25Speaker 3: did Jack know?
- 23:26Speaker 2: But Jack didn't even know Sanda Bal was scandalbal. He
- 23:28Speaker 2: just thought like he just knew the word and then
- 23:30Speaker 2: knew Tom sandal but and I just said it to
- 23:32Speaker 2: be funny, but never knew the correlation of the two.
- 23:35Speaker 5: That's hilarious.
- 23:36Speaker 6: Jack Osborne is fucking hilarious, by the way, so funny
- 23:41Speaker 6: like also killing it, also killing it on the show.
- 23:44Speaker 2: He was like he was like the there was like
- 23:46Speaker 2: two dads of the show, him and Body Miller, and
- 23:50Speaker 2: those are the guys who like knew how to do
- 23:52Speaker 2: survival stuff, knew how to make the fire. I was useless.
- 23:56Speaker 4: I don't know how to do anything.
- 23:57Speaker 6: So there's survival stuff coming up because we I mean,
- 24:00Speaker 6: obviously it's all survival. But what we've seen so far
- 24:03Speaker 6: is I call it the cold plunge. It obviously was
- 24:05Speaker 6: a lot worse than that. But you're a fit guy.
- 24:07Speaker 6: Had you cold plunged before? So that challenge was like, eh, no.
- 24:10Speaker 2: I mean that challenge that sounds sucks no matter what.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Yeah, but yeah, I don't think I could do that.
- 24:15Speaker 2: You could?
- 24:15Speaker 4: I could.
- 24:16Speaker 6: I want you to go on Special Forces so bad
- 24:19Speaker 6: because I think you'd shock yourself.
- 24:21Speaker 2: You're gonna do it in Utah next year? They said too,
- 24:22Speaker 2: it'd be great homecoming. Oh you could go home?
- 24:24Speaker 5: Are you serious?
- 24:25Speaker 4: No, you're lying home court advantage.
- 24:30Speaker 5: No, I think you'd surprise yourself. I think a lot
- 24:32Speaker 5: of people on that show will end up surprising themselves.
- 24:35Speaker 4: Do you have to tie a lot of ropes on
- 24:36Speaker 4: that or no? What do you mean like anything like rope?
- 24:40Speaker 2: I had. There was this one course that we had
- 24:42Speaker 2: to do and I had to They put it's a
- 24:44Speaker 2: sled and we had to tie all these things to
- 24:46Speaker 2: the sled and we got we got to race other teams,
- 24:50Speaker 2: and so I'm like, I hook my partner up to
- 24:53Speaker 2: the sled. I'm tying everything up, you know. Yeah, And
- 24:56Speaker 2: as soon as we kick off, my nots come on.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Shit goes everywhere. Do they teach you how to go
- 25:02Speaker 2: right to last place?
- 25:03Speaker 1: Like?
- 25:03Speaker 2: By far? I'm like, and they're just ripping me apart.
- 25:07Speaker 4: When it comes to knots, I hand it off to
- 25:09Speaker 4: somebody else.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Wait, do they teach you how to tie a proper knock?
- 25:12Speaker 1: For?
- 25:13Speaker 5: They don't teach you shit know how to you are?
- 25:15Speaker 2: Yeah, being a thirty old man, you should know how
- 25:18Speaker 2: to tie a not.
- 25:18Speaker 1: I think I could tie a pretty solid knot honestly, until.
- 25:22Speaker 2: You have until you got to wrap things around it,
- 25:24Speaker 2: make things stick together.
- 25:26Speaker 6: Yeah, what are we doing in life where we need
- 25:28Speaker 6: to tie not someone tells me to, I'm going, I'm
- 25:30Speaker 6: doing a bow.
- 25:31Speaker 2: And I had a friend who started with his shoelaces
- 25:33Speaker 2: and he's thirty, so you're right, he can't double not
- 25:37Speaker 2: it sketch the bunniers.
- 25:40Speaker 1: The bunniers can fuck you sometimes the bunniers can. I'm
- 25:44Speaker 1: fantastic at tying up a boat.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Oh, that's good.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Yeah, you can hang in Jupiter.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Then oh yeah, I whipped that thing around like nobody's business.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Is that the kind of knot you had to do?
- 25:54Speaker 2: No, I wish, I wish I'd be all right, that
- 25:59Speaker 2: wasn't the case.
- 26:00Speaker 3: What is the hardest challenge you have done so far
- 26:03Speaker 3: that we've seen that we've seen. I don't want it.
- 26:05Speaker 3: I don't want your team to be mad at me
- 26:07Speaker 3: for spoiling anything.
- 26:09Speaker 2: The hardest things we've done so far that like episode
- 26:12Speaker 2: one was the trenasium. Yeah, that one. I was the
- 26:15Speaker 2: most scared of the whole time. And that's probably and
- 26:18Speaker 2: I passed. And I was, I mean, you're three hundred
- 26:20Speaker 2: and fifty feet in the air, looking down over this river,
- 26:23Speaker 2: walking on two metal bars, and I was so scared,
- 26:28Speaker 2: like you look down your disoriented. I was so scared
- 26:31Speaker 2: so I couldn't fail. Like fear was more like like
- 26:34Speaker 2: it was what made me pass it. And I would
- 26:37Speaker 2: blocked everything out, looked at like a little rock all
- 26:39Speaker 2: the way across the mountain and just I mean, but
- 26:41Speaker 2: I was shipped my pants.
- 26:42Speaker 5: Did you see it?
- 26:43Speaker 3: Lot?
- 26:43Speaker 5: It's horrible.
- 26:45Speaker 3: It's just talking about it. It feels like an elephant just
- 26:47Speaker 3: sat on my chest.
- 26:49Speaker 4: I don't like it.
- 26:50Speaker 3: I'm like, I don't not do that.
- 26:51Speaker 6: And and you're and then you get to the like
- 26:54Speaker 6: the middle, and there's something you have to step.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Over, the eupmember a wooden plank, which like you don't
- 26:59Speaker 2: look down and see what you're stepping over, you know
- 27:01Speaker 2: where it'll put your foot. So you're just.
- 27:03Speaker 6: Guessing and staff is are they because this is what
- 27:05Speaker 6: I wanted to ask. They are obviously hard on you guys,
- 27:08Speaker 6: but they also seem to be like guiding you and
- 27:10Speaker 6: rooting for you. Were are they looking at you in
- 27:14Speaker 6: that challenge and being like you got this?
- 27:15Speaker 5: Come on? I couldn't really tell you know.
- 27:17Speaker 2: That they're they're just setting us every second of the way.
- 27:20Speaker 2: They're they're they're analyzing us. They talk about us. You know,
- 27:23Speaker 2: they have a deep brief that they do afterwards, and
- 27:26Speaker 2: and they just go through each person for about thirty
- 27:29Speaker 2: minutes about the whole day. Wow, but they got to
- 27:30Speaker 2: attack on this person because they're trying to find out weaknesses,
- 27:33Speaker 2: they're trying to exploit them, and they're trying to make
- 27:35Speaker 2: us better for them. Okay, And so so I mean like, yeah,
- 27:40Speaker 2: I mean they're ripping us. Yeah, and then sometimes you'll
- 27:42Speaker 2: get a little taste of a human out of them.
- 27:44Speaker 5: That's what I see.
- 27:45Speaker 6: That's what And they're like great job or something, and
- 27:47Speaker 6: I'm like, oh, staff, because they're all like ex marines
- 27:50Speaker 6: x X whatever, and.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Like, like, I think one of the big driving forces
- 27:55Speaker 2: for me was earning their respect. You know, I wanted
- 27:58Speaker 2: to have their respect.
- 27:59Speaker 5: By the end of all, did you earn it?
- 28:01Speaker 3: You're not allowed to stay tuned, stay tuned. I'm very excited.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I have to ask you, do you believe in a
- 28:09Speaker 1: higher power like God, universe, whatever it may be. So
- 28:13Speaker 1: when you're doing this, did you ever punt it off?
- 28:16Speaker 1: Because I know you said it was more than just
- 28:19Speaker 1: a competition. This was like to build you build more characters,
- 28:24Speaker 1: See what strength you didn't know existed. Was there a
- 28:29Speaker 1: time throughout this process where you were like, I have
- 28:32Speaker 1: to hand it over because you're a fucking athlete, right
- 28:35Speaker 1: where you had to punt it to a higher power
- 28:36Speaker 1: to be like, I literally cannot do this and something
- 28:41Speaker 1: else needs to take over.
- 28:42Speaker 2: I'm crazy and stupid out to think I can do anything. Okay,
- 28:45Speaker 2: you know, but there was moments in time where I'm
- 28:48Speaker 2: in it, and I'm just you know, I'm struggling, and
- 28:51Speaker 2: you just got to figure out like your why and
- 28:53Speaker 2: what's your reason for, you know. And I think for me,
- 28:57Speaker 2: a lot of my reasons why I was as I
- 28:58Speaker 2: felt like since football, since coming into a little bit
- 29:01Speaker 2: of family, I lost my edge a little bit. I
- 29:03Speaker 2: lost what made me who I was. And because they're comfortable,
- 29:07Speaker 2: you know, it's easy to get comfortable, and I wanted
- 29:10Speaker 2: to find that dog again. And so I mean I
- 29:14Speaker 2: was pushing myself to the brink, you know, over and
- 29:17Speaker 2: over and over again. And I do remember this. I
- 29:19Speaker 2: was like, because only there's like two ways to go out.
- 29:22Speaker 2: You get hurt or you quit. And I was like
- 29:25Speaker 2: running full spreed down this mountain. I would not mind
- 29:28Speaker 2: tripping and like breaking my collarbone right now my leg
- 29:33Speaker 2: snaps like you but like, like that's how brutal it was.
- 29:39Speaker 1: I heard from Sandoval. I was on a gondola with him.
- 29:45Speaker 1: I won't tell you why. You'll see it next season.
- 29:49Speaker 5: No God, no, Tyler.
- 29:52Speaker 3: Some of that absolutely not.
- 29:55Speaker 1: You got to check all the boxes, which, by the way,
- 29:57Speaker 1: I have made side note, I've done this thing where
- 30:01Speaker 1: I'm like, you know what they have all of these things,
- 30:03Speaker 1: so I'm gonna let these things slide. At this point
- 30:06Speaker 1: in my life. If there's even one box that you
- 30:10Speaker 1: did not check, even if it's all physical, you gotta go.
- 30:14Speaker 3: That's gat you gotta go. That's crazy.
- 30:17Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 30:18Speaker 5: I hear you that.
- 30:19Speaker 3: That's what trauma will do to you.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Really.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Yeah, you experience something, you take a thirty thousand foot
- 30:26Speaker 1: view on your life and you're like, fuck it, I'll
- 30:30Speaker 1: be by myself if you don't check every box.
- 30:32Speaker 3: I don't have to check every box, but you must
- 30:34Speaker 3: check every box.
- 30:35Speaker 2: I guarantee the person you married doesn't check everybody.
- 30:37Speaker 6: I guarantee you too. This is gonna go away. This
- 30:39Speaker 6: is just this is just the temporary. I know you
- 30:42Speaker 6: feel like it's not.
- 30:43Speaker 5: But it all right.
- 30:43Speaker 4: Here we go.
- 30:44Speaker 3: You you all are psychoanalyzing and doing all the things.
- 30:47Speaker 3: This is what I'm saying. I would never ever touch that.
- 30:50Speaker 2: People talk about boxes because.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Everything except when you've been open to everything and you're like,
- 30:58Speaker 1: then you look at your life and you're like, you know,
- 31:00Speaker 1: being open to everything did not quite serve me the
- 31:02Speaker 1: way I thought it would. Like a tight box, a
- 31:04Speaker 1: tight he eat like the tight box.
- 31:07Speaker 4: Like a tight box.
- 31:08Speaker 5: Wait, can I ask? Because I really want to know.
- 31:10Speaker 6: Speaking of tight boxes, did anyone on the show hook up?
- 31:14Speaker 6: Was there any Because you're sleeping on cots next to
- 31:17Speaker 6: each other.
- 31:17Speaker 5: Also, though you're in a room where you've just sweat all.
- 31:20Speaker 6: Day, I feel like it probably smells and it's disgusting
- 31:23Speaker 6: your shower.
- 31:24Speaker 1: I feel like you don't know if it stinks because
- 31:26Speaker 1: you all smell the same way. It's like if you
- 31:27Speaker 1: eat garlic, but someone else eats garlic and it like
- 31:29Speaker 1: counteracts the garlic.
- 31:30Speaker 2: I showered twice, Like you showered twice a day. No
- 31:33Speaker 2: one's no one's hot, right, you know.
- 31:34Speaker 3: You showered twice a day period.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Period, Tyler, Is that all you're allowed? Or is that
- 31:41Speaker 2: we had like time and energy for.
- 31:43Speaker 5: I couldn't see.
- 31:44Speaker 4: I wouldn't shower either, just lay the shower.
- 31:47Speaker 2: You got to go outside, Yeah, and go into this shower.
- 31:52Speaker 2: That's you know, the shower actually had hot water, but
- 31:55Speaker 2: we couldn't. No one could figure it out for the
- 31:57Speaker 2: first two days. So once we figured out the hot water,
- 32:00Speaker 2: then that was like Applaus. But we'd go out and
- 32:02Speaker 2: shower and then like but you're doing it on like time.
- 32:05Speaker 2: We could possibly be sleeping and so it's like a
- 32:07Speaker 2: trade off and like you're just gonna get shitty again
- 32:09Speaker 2: the next day. So what's the point?
- 32:11Speaker 3: The point?
- 32:11Speaker 5: So no one hooked up or you can't tell us
- 32:13Speaker 5: no one? No one hooked up? Okay, what about somebody?
- 32:18Speaker 4: Something's telling me somebody hooked up.
- 32:19Speaker 6: I know, I feel like there's so little hanky panky,
- 32:21Speaker 6: but I guess something's telling me that.
- 32:24Speaker 5: The Okay, well what about fights?
- 32:28Speaker 6: So we can't know that either, Like you guys are
- 32:31Speaker 6: sleeping next to each other. We already saw a little
- 32:34Speaker 6: tension between Brian Austin Green and and uh Black China
- 32:38Speaker 6: aka Angela White.
- 32:40Speaker 5: We saw some tension there.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Yep, that came out of nowhere.
- 32:43Speaker 3: That was why?
- 32:44Speaker 4: What was it?
- 32:44Speaker 3: What was it?
- 32:45Speaker 5: It was?
- 32:46Speaker 2: It was like Brian poking.
- 32:47Speaker 6: Brian was poking and you don't poke Angela White, Black China,
- 32:52Speaker 6: and she was done with it and she's like, are
- 32:54Speaker 6: you trying to step don't like she.
- 32:56Speaker 5: Said I'm not the one and I said that's lala.
- 32:58Speaker 1: I wish I wish that was She's a badass.
- 33:03Speaker 5: But yeah, there was some So are we gonna see
- 33:06Speaker 5: more drama?
- 33:07Speaker 3: Maybe?
- 33:08Speaker 2: You know, there's probably some drama here, so there's probably
- 33:11Speaker 2: bickering that I didn't really know about. I'm not really
- 33:13Speaker 2: a drama person.
- 33:14Speaker 3: I didn't need the drama, by the way.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Yeah, no, it's enough for me to watch you three
- 33:19Speaker 1: hundred and fifty feet in the air walking on a
- 33:21Speaker 1: tight rope like that is enough drama.
- 33:24Speaker 3: But for me, I.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Think the show it strips everyone to their core, so
- 33:29Speaker 2: you kind of get the like, the vulnerable, real side
- 33:32Speaker 2: of them. You don't get much druma. We get more
- 33:33Speaker 2: people helping each other than you get. Yeah, some people
- 33:36Speaker 2: get pissed off and annoyed of each other, and like
- 33:38Speaker 2: I got pissed off at everybody at a certain points,
- 33:40Speaker 2: I'm like, yo, shut up, you know, to multiple people.
- 33:43Speaker 2: You know.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a mental even even.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Jojo, who I love the most, probably like since leaving
- 33:48Speaker 2: the show, she'd pissed me off sometimes because she'd be
- 33:50Speaker 2: on my ass about my outfit, about about wearing the
- 33:54Speaker 2: right shit, you know, and I'm like, Jojo, I just
- 33:58Speaker 2: want to sit in my bed and do nothing. Leave me.
- 34:01Speaker 2: But but then like I'll get called out and I'd
- 34:03Speaker 2: be late because I'd be getting dressed. I'm like, damn it.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Jojo is right.
- 34:06Speaker 1: That's when men get the most pissed off is when
- 34:09Speaker 1: they're told to do something and then the woman's right.
- 34:13Speaker 5: And generally that happens a lot.
- 34:15Speaker 3: So you bonded with Jojo the most?
- 34:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I say Jojo Aaron Jackson, I bonded with a ton.
- 34:20Speaker 2: She was like the bunk next to me, Nick Vail
- 34:23Speaker 2: and I got close Nick Vye, Tody Miller, like, those
- 34:26Speaker 2: were probably people talk to the most.
- 34:31Speaker 3: What were your thoughts on Tom Sanderval? Did you talk
- 34:34Speaker 3: to him at all?
- 34:34Speaker 2: Yeah? I mean he was the bunk to my to
- 34:36Speaker 2: my right.
- 34:37Speaker 3: So what did you gather from him?
- 34:39Speaker 1: An outsider who doesn't know much, keeps out of the drama.
- 34:42Speaker 3: What are your thoughts?
- 34:43Speaker 2: I think Tom lives in Tom's world?
- 34:46Speaker 3: Okay?
- 34:47Speaker 2: He I mean like, so Tom, first day, I'm like,
- 34:51Speaker 2: and I know, scanned upon. Now I'm like some kind
- 34:54Speaker 2: of keep my honest guy. I'm like, what is this
- 34:56Speaker 2: guy going to do? You know? First day, somehow his
- 34:59Speaker 2: clothes on my clothes get mixed up. So I'm wearing
- 35:01Speaker 2: like size smalls on everything, and I might did I
- 35:04Speaker 2: might trapped in my clothes. You know, I couldn't barely
- 35:07Speaker 2: like move my legs and anything, and he's wearing my
- 35:09Speaker 2: stuff and he's like flapping his arms in the wind.
- 35:12Speaker 2: You know, yeah, no, it wasn't that bad. But so
- 35:16Speaker 2: so he's like, yo, I think you have my clothes.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Let's switch. I was like, thank god, because you know,
- 35:20Speaker 2: so we go in the back and we're switching, and
- 35:23Speaker 2: we're switching like in like a warm area. All of
- 35:25Speaker 2: a sudden staff comes in. What the hell you doing?
- 35:28Speaker 2: Is this some country club yaller and blah blah blah.
- 35:31Speaker 2: And I'm like, man, this dude already got me in trouble.
- 35:33Speaker 2: You know, he is just as bad as they say.
- 35:38Speaker 2: And then like he got in trouble later because like
- 35:40Speaker 2: he didn't listen about like the pouring the water with
- 35:42Speaker 2: Jojo and all that, and they're doing uptowns. I'm like, damn,
- 35:45Speaker 2: he just gets in trouble everywhere he goes. You know.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Wow, it's so interesting to hear your perspective on it,
- 35:50Speaker 1: because from his point of view, he was killing the game.
- 35:53Speaker 2: But no, but no, but let me go, okay, keep going,
- 35:56Speaker 2: keep going. But then like you get to see Tom
- 35:58Speaker 2: around you know all of us. Tom was always helpful,
- 36:01Speaker 2: was always helping people out like he cared and he
- 36:06Speaker 2: can tell he gave his full efforts, like he was
- 36:10Speaker 2: a beast. I'm not gonna lie like he beasted these challenges,
- 36:14Speaker 2: like he was very impressive when it came to all
- 36:17Speaker 2: the missions, everything we did.
- 36:19Speaker 3: I'm shocked. Yeah, I'm actually not.
- 36:21Speaker 5: Wow.
- 36:22Speaker 1: He's never been my most favorite person, right, and just
- 36:26Speaker 1: in my own journey of healing, I've had to let
- 36:29Speaker 1: a lot go, not only because it wasn't serving me,
- 36:33Speaker 1: but just I'm not going to get in, like I'll.
- 36:36Speaker 3: Talk myself into a hole.
- 36:38Speaker 1: But with him, he's always given a lot too, whether
- 36:41Speaker 1: it's putting a costume together or if he's competing in
- 36:45Speaker 1: something like small I remember we played dodgeball for one
- 36:49Speaker 1: of our seasons and he freaking killed that, Like he
- 36:52Speaker 1: just knows how when you take.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Someone who went through what he went through.
- 36:56Speaker 1: Granted he put it on himself, right, but the world
- 36:59Speaker 1: turned against him. It was like public enemy number one,
- 37:02Speaker 1: you mentally have to get right. He would go out
- 37:05Speaker 1: and still play shows knowing that people were gonna boo him,
- 37:09Speaker 1: hit on him, and still give a performance even if
- 37:12Speaker 1: it sounded like nails on a chalkboard. He fucking came
- 37:15Speaker 1: in and did his thing. So that does not shock
- 37:18Speaker 1: me that he showed up and killed everything he did.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Yeah. Wow. I think everyone needs to have their own
- 37:23Speaker 2: belief in themselves, like Tom does, you know, like Tom
- 37:26Speaker 2: full blown just goes is in Tom's world and just
- 37:30Speaker 2: goes for it, you know. Yeah, And it's like a
- 37:33Speaker 2: good thing and a bad thing, you know, because sometimes
- 37:35Speaker 2: you don't have awareness for others, you know, and that
- 37:37Speaker 2: could hurt you in team atmospheres or whatnot. But I'll
- 37:41Speaker 2: give it to Tom. He laid it all online and
- 37:43Speaker 2: I can respect. Like what I love about the show
- 37:45Speaker 2: is this show peels back all the layers and you
- 37:47Speaker 2: get to see the real, raw version of that person.
- 37:50Speaker 2: We get to see even more because we're living next
- 37:52Speaker 2: to it every day, but you all get to get
- 37:54Speaker 2: a taste of it. And so I think everyone who
- 37:57Speaker 2: goes on the show leads to show a better person
- 38:00Speaker 2: and they can reflect because you do a lot of reflection,
- 38:03Speaker 2: You do a lot of talking about what you've gone
- 38:05Speaker 2: through in your past, and there's a lot of growth
- 38:08Speaker 2: when you leave. So I think, you know, I said,
- 38:11Speaker 2: did everyone a chance on this show? No?
- 38:13Speaker 1: I Like, I told you, I love it, and I
- 38:15Speaker 1: loved I'm going to go back to last season because
- 38:18Speaker 1: that's the one that we've completed, and I don't want
- 38:19Speaker 1: to spoil anything. I don't want to get phone calls
- 38:22Speaker 1: from who was it Fox telling me that I had
- 38:25Speaker 1: unfucked up Bramo's enough for me. I got enough on
- 38:27Speaker 1: my plate.
- 38:28Speaker 2: But when.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Jamie Lynn spears, they had to do a water challenge
- 38:34Speaker 1: and then they called her into the room where she
- 38:36Speaker 1: talked to the coaches, and she broke down because she.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Has a fear of water.
- 38:42Speaker 1: It takes her back to when her daughter was drowning
- 38:45Speaker 1: and she had to save her and it was like
- 38:48Speaker 1: gut wrenching.
- 38:50Speaker 3: So I know how it works.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Obviously we don't get to see everything, but I can
- 38:55Speaker 1: only imagine how much you guys have to break down
- 38:59Speaker 1: to your very core to get through this.
- 39:03Speaker 2: And I mean that, and then you have to rely
- 39:05Speaker 2: on each other. So like, no matter how bad y'all
- 39:07Speaker 2: may think Tom is in that world out here in
- 39:11Speaker 2: this world, I had to rely on him and he
- 39:13Speaker 2: had to show up, you know, or else we're pissed
- 39:17Speaker 2: at him. The staff's pissed at him, you know. So
- 39:20Speaker 2: you leave with a different respect for each other because
- 39:22Speaker 2: you went through some shit together.
- 39:23Speaker 6: Yeah, and they don't even let you, or at least
- 39:25Speaker 6: it seems from what I've seen, it's not like like
- 39:28Speaker 6: I think.
- 39:29Speaker 5: Tara or Tara did she say?
- 39:31Speaker 6: Tara Reid was the leader of the line in the
- 39:34Speaker 6: second episode challenge, and it's not like they let the
- 39:37Speaker 6: team members pass her. So she's struggling with her bag
- 39:40Speaker 6: and she's up in front and they're in a line,
- 39:43Speaker 6: and if she's going slow, everyone has to go slower
- 39:45Speaker 6: behind her. So that's when Tyler, you have to stay
- 39:49Speaker 6: with the person who's the slowest.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Well, all of you great. It was like, I mean,
- 39:54Speaker 2: because like you know, you got Tara, you know, leading
- 39:58Speaker 2: the way, so I was like, I can go at
- 39:59Speaker 2: this forever, you know. And then so like it was always,
- 40:03Speaker 2: but once those people started gett eliminated, it gets tougher
- 40:05Speaker 2: and tougher and tougher.
- 40:06Speaker 6: Sure, that's I also want to ask, because I just
- 40:09Speaker 6: looked in my phone. So there's a shot in either
- 40:14Speaker 6: first or second episode of a rat.
- 40:17Speaker 5: A rat.
- 40:18Speaker 1: A rat doesn't walking to New York City because she's
- 40:22Speaker 1: afraid of We had this one.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Rat that we kept trying to catch.
- 40:25Speaker 5: That is fucking disgusting. Can I take back everything.
- 40:29Speaker 6: It was a goal to be It was a goal
- 40:31Speaker 6: to be on Special Forces of mine. One day, that's
- 40:33Speaker 6: not a goal anymore because there was a rat crawling
- 40:37Speaker 6: on a boot and they shot it. By the way
- 40:39Speaker 6: they had it, it was a shot and.
- 40:42Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, no, no one's shooting anything. They got
- 40:45Speaker 3: a shot.
- 40:45Speaker 6: They got a shot of it, and I freaked out immediately.
- 40:49Speaker 5: So I need to know is was there just one rat?
- 40:52Speaker 2: So there was one rat that kept coming in and out,
- 40:54Speaker 2: and how do you know one? Well, we think is
- 40:56Speaker 2: just one. But we tried to make a weak. We
- 40:59Speaker 2: didn't have much eyes, so we like took tape and
- 41:01Speaker 2: put it like you know tape, not tape, but like
- 41:04Speaker 2: band aids and put like the sticky side up. So
- 41:06Speaker 2: we're hoping we'll like step on it and catch it,
- 41:08Speaker 2: you know.
- 41:09Speaker 3: And what would you do with it once you caught it?
- 41:11Speaker 2: We would probably cooked it or something.
- 41:12Speaker 5: No, that's horrible.
- 41:17Speaker 2: I would have made Jack Osborne and like Body Miller
- 41:20Speaker 2: the dads of the group handler, because that'd be where
- 41:21Speaker 2: you are.
- 41:22Speaker 3: No, we can just let him chill.
- 41:24Speaker 5: No, do you know.
- 41:26Speaker 2: You're chill crawls on you like Body One time woke
- 41:29Speaker 2: up because you thought he felt it, you know, like
- 41:31Speaker 2: we all were paranoid because of it.
- 41:33Speaker 5: No, i'd be out.
- 41:34Speaker 6: Don't put me underwater for five minutes, make me crawl
- 41:37Speaker 6: on the thing. But you I see a rat, I'm out,
- 41:40Speaker 6: I'm going home, goodbye.
- 41:42Speaker 5: That was wild. That was the wildest part of the
- 41:44Speaker 5: entire show that I've seen so far.
- 41:45Speaker 3: That's crazy, and that's the wildest part.
- 41:49Speaker 6: Just it was two seconds of a rat crawling and
- 41:51Speaker 6: I said, I'm done, I'm out, I'm going home, Send
- 41:55Speaker 6: me home.
- 41:56Speaker 3: It was horrific. No, it was bad.
- 42:00Speaker 6: Chose I yes, no, anyway, But I'm at some point
- 42:04Speaker 6: I would like to talk about SNL with you.
- 42:08Speaker 3: Oh well, we were getting to that. That's in my notes.
- 42:10Speaker 1: Let's let's let's leave it on the rat note and venturing.
- 42:14Speaker 1: You were the only person that's done SNL from Bachelor
- 42:18Speaker 1: Nation with Kim Kardashian. Did you lose your goddamn mind?
- 42:23Speaker 1: You seem so chill, like, what were you even like
- 42:25Speaker 1: doing it?
- 42:25Speaker 2: It was cool, It was cool.
- 42:28Speaker 5: It was so relaxed.
- 42:30Speaker 2: What what did Kelsey? Did you see Travis Kelsey's mom
- 42:34Speaker 2: get in trouble the other day? She said something about
- 42:37Speaker 2: how I was hanging out with Taylor stuff. It was okay,
- 42:39Speaker 2: you know what a.
- 42:40Speaker 3: Bad ass she's going in drags Kardashians.
- 42:45Speaker 2: It was okay, No, I no, it was great. So
- 42:49Speaker 2: I was literally at a wedding the like the pre
- 42:51Speaker 2: wedding party Friday in South Carolina, got the call and
- 42:54Speaker 2: I'm like, this has got to be bullshit, you know.
- 42:56Speaker 2: So I sent it to my managers at the time,
- 42:59Speaker 2: and now that's the real deal, like do you you
- 43:01Speaker 2: should do it? I'm like, damn, I'm about to miss
- 43:03Speaker 2: my boy's wedding.
- 43:04Speaker 3: You know who cares get married again?
- 43:06Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, Like and like I'm like consulting like my
- 43:10Speaker 2: like really country friend and his wife, you know, like
- 43:13Speaker 2: asking them for like you know, what I should do.
- 43:15Speaker 3: And she's like, she was like, you gotta do with
- 43:17Speaker 3: kem Garden.
- 43:18Speaker 2: No. No, she was like She's like, Tyler, this is
- 43:21Speaker 2: their biggest night of their life, this is their wedding.
- 43:23Speaker 2: You can't miss this. This is gonna be like their
- 43:26Speaker 2: biggest moment, Like you need to be here. And so
- 43:29Speaker 2: I was like, damn, I feel bad.
- 43:30Speaker 1: I say, sixty seven percent of people get divorced, so
- 43:33Speaker 1: like we'll be here again I should have.
- 43:35Speaker 2: I should have and I was and I was like,
- 43:38Speaker 2: you're gonna trap get at it and so and so
- 43:40Speaker 2: I went to my boy who's getting married. I was like, hey, man,
- 43:43Speaker 2: like I got invited to go do sn L, like
- 43:45Speaker 2: I would have to miss your wedding, Like what's your thoughts?
- 43:47Speaker 2: He's like, dude, go yeah you know. So I was like,
- 43:49Speaker 2: all right, cool, I'm out.
- 43:50Speaker 3: Yes, yeah. I always ask the dude. Never asked the woman.
- 43:53Speaker 2: No, no, which I don't think the wife would have
- 43:55Speaker 2: cared either. She was she was cool, just my friend's wife.
- 43:57Speaker 2: She's just so country. They're going to work.
- 44:00Speaker 6: So you found out right before like Friday. Wait, Friday,
- 44:04Speaker 6: Friday before Saturday Night Live.
- 44:06Speaker 3: That's how the week works.
- 44:09Speaker 5: Wait, how did you? I thought it was like a
- 44:11Speaker 5: week of rehearsal. You had what one rehearsal I had?
- 44:14Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like we all have like very minimal lines.
- 44:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 44:17Speaker 2: What was so cool? So we're in this like backstage
- 44:20Speaker 2: room and it's all the cast members and like we're
- 44:23Speaker 2: all playing poker with sugar packets. You know. I'm sitting
- 44:26Speaker 2: there like playing with Amy Schumer, Chris Rock all these people.
- 44:29Speaker 3: Who are they?
- 44:31Speaker 2: And uh, It's so funny because that these writers would
- 44:33Speaker 2: come in and Chris Rock's like, no, no, no, I'm going
- 44:35Speaker 2: to say this, and Amy Schumer's like I'm going to
- 44:37Speaker 2: say that, and I'm just like, I'll just take whatever
- 44:39Speaker 2: you get.
- 44:40Speaker 4: Whatever you wrote for.
- 44:41Speaker 2: You know.
- 44:41Speaker 5: Can you imagine if he was like, yeah, no, no, no,
- 44:43Speaker 5: I'm going to say this. Did you meet Lauren Lauren Michael?
- 44:47Speaker 2: Laura Michael's no, he just spoke to all of us,
- 44:49Speaker 2: So you.
- 44:49Speaker 5: Saw him, though, Yeah.
- 44:52Speaker 3: Didn't you go to a taping of SNL?
- 44:54Speaker 5: I sure did.
- 44:55Speaker 6: Last it was the last I think it was the
- 44:57Speaker 6: finale or whatever they call it.
- 45:00Speaker 5: It was great.
- 45:01Speaker 3: I bailed on it.
- 45:03Speaker 5: Michael Chay is hot in person, so is Colin Joe.
- 45:06Speaker 3: Just what is the coolest thing you've done so far?
- 45:11Speaker 2: Oh, the coolest thing I've done?
- 45:13Speaker 1: And don't make it be something like moved back to Jupiter,
- 45:16Speaker 1: Florida and it's something that we could all.
- 45:19Speaker 4: Be like laugh, how chill you are? What gets you growing?
- 45:24Speaker 2: I don't know. It's like it's things that I'm like, damn,
- 45:27Speaker 2: Like even like this, like the Saturday Night Live was cool,
- 45:30Speaker 2: you know, I was like, damn, this is like the
- 45:33Speaker 2: magnitude of what it was. Kim Kardashian's episode, like sitting
- 45:37Speaker 2: with Chris Rock and like, you know, my dad was like,
- 45:40Speaker 2: just give me Chris Rock's autograph, you know what. I'm
- 45:43Speaker 2: like you I'm like, yeah, I was like I was
- 45:45Speaker 2: like I was like Chris, like my dad's a huge fan,
- 45:46Speaker 2: and he's like and he wrote like two, Dad, be cool, Chris,
- 45:49Speaker 2: you know, and like on the script, you know, and
- 45:52Speaker 2: I got a frame from my pops and everything like
- 45:54Speaker 2: like like almost like that are cool, and like there's
- 45:57Speaker 2: like a few times like where I'm like, damn, I
- 45:59Speaker 2: was my mom cless and those like the moments like
- 46:01Speaker 2: you know, even like Special Forces like this is like
- 46:04Speaker 2: there was times where I wanted to go home. But
- 46:05Speaker 2: this is the coolest shit I've ever done. Like we're
- 46:08Speaker 2: ripping through helicopters through a mountain like about to hit it.
- 46:10Speaker 2: Then we go up and we go over. I'm over
- 46:12Speaker 2: and I'm in the back yelling everyone else is cool shit.
- 46:15Speaker 2: You know I'm over here like a you know, like
- 46:17Speaker 2: there's just things throughout this whole experience that I've done.
- 46:20Speaker 2: It's been amazing. You know, Like I look at we
- 46:24Speaker 2: used to do like New York City runs back on
- 46:25Speaker 2: the day and there'd be like three hundred girls at
- 46:27Speaker 2: our runs like that just left. It would be like
- 46:29Speaker 2: six o'clock. They would be running in like their heels
- 46:31Speaker 2: and their jeans and they're they're there, you know, and
- 46:34Speaker 2: I'm like, we've run like two miles and like in
- 46:36Speaker 2: Central Park, and I'd be like it's I'm like, this
- 46:39Speaker 2: is crazy, you know, like like this experience has happened
- 46:42Speaker 2: and my life has changed. And there's been moments like
- 46:44Speaker 2: that for sure where I'm just like, Wow.
- 46:46Speaker 1: I'm glad that you take a beat in the moment
- 46:49Speaker 1: to realize how cool your life is. Because I've noticed
- 46:54Speaker 1: recently and I've been this way for a while where
- 46:57Speaker 1: I treat my life like a to do lit where
- 47:00Speaker 1: I think about something and I'm like, let's just get
- 47:02Speaker 1: it checked off, and I have to actively tell myself
- 47:07Speaker 1: in this moment. Like a couple of weeks ago, I
- 47:10Speaker 1: was on Capitol Hill and we were trying to get
- 47:13Speaker 1: the Humane Cosmetics Act, you know, in front of Congress
- 47:17Speaker 1: for co sponsors, and I was so nervous because it's
- 47:21Speaker 1: something I believe in tremendously, but I was like, I
- 47:24Speaker 1: just I want it to go well, and I just
- 47:26Speaker 1: want to get it done because I was so nervous,
- 47:29Speaker 1: and I did have to check myself and go like,
- 47:31Speaker 1: this is amazing, Like try to look around you and
- 47:36Speaker 1: make a mental note of this, to never forget that
- 47:38Speaker 1: you were here, because there's gonna be a day in
- 47:40Speaker 1: an hour from now it's going to be over, and
- 47:42Speaker 1: you're gonna wish it's gonna be an impeccable day, and
- 47:44Speaker 1: you're gonna wish you would have sat.
- 47:45Speaker 3: Back and said, this is amazing.
- 47:47Speaker 2: No, that's true.
- 47:48Speaker 1: So I'm thrilled that you're doing that, especially at your
- 47:51Speaker 1: you see much older actually than thirty, not much older,
- 47:54Speaker 1: but you seem very mature in the way that you
- 47:55Speaker 1: carry yourself. And I'm happy at the age of thirty
- 47:57Speaker 1: that you can take a step back from your life
- 48:00Speaker 1: and realize how amazing it is.
- 48:02Speaker 2: Yeah. No, I mean I've been blessed. I said, I
- 48:05Speaker 2: was like a kid who came from two hundred bucks
- 48:07Speaker 2: and like a construction job dream, and you know, I
- 48:10Speaker 2: just like went on this just for an adventure and
- 48:11Speaker 2: fun and just and it's unfolded to so many things
- 48:14Speaker 2: and I think it's sped up what I was ever
- 48:16Speaker 2: trying to do. You know, I'm back to doing what
- 48:18Speaker 2: I was going to do anyways, you know, right. And
- 48:20Speaker 2: so to me, every time I get to go do
- 48:23Speaker 2: it like a job in this industry or do something,
- 48:25Speaker 2: to me like it's like exciting, it's great. I'm grateful.
- 48:28Speaker 2: To me, it's vacations to get out of what I
- 48:30Speaker 2: do every day. And so it's it's an honor, Like
- 48:33Speaker 2: I love it because I've been able to do things
- 48:36Speaker 2: where I've been able to put my friends on, my dad,
- 48:39Speaker 2: on my people. Like, to me, that's like if you
- 48:42Speaker 2: don't if you can't share with the people you love,
- 48:44Speaker 2: and what's the point.
- 48:45Speaker 1: What is the point? There is no point put the
- 48:48Speaker 1: family on payroll, live the dream? He no, my brother, Yeah,
- 48:57Speaker 1: sometimes just don't work here. So we do a thing
- 49:00Speaker 1: on this show called the Ache and Relief of the Week.
- 49:03Speaker 1: So whatever is like the high point and whatever?
- 49:07Speaker 3: It was kind of like the bummer. Do you want
- 49:10Speaker 3: us to give you a minute to think about it?
- 49:12Speaker 2: Yeah? So is it? I guess it's Monday, so I
- 49:14Speaker 2: got to think about last week? Huh. Yeah, the ache
- 49:17Speaker 2: in the relief of.
- 49:18Speaker 1: The week, And it doesn't have to be intense. It
- 49:20Speaker 1: could be like someone cut you off on the freeway.
- 49:22Speaker 2: No, I think, you know, I put myself under a
- 49:26Speaker 2: lot of pressure with work, with with everything I'm doing.
- 49:30Speaker 2: You know, I'm in restaurants, I'm in a lot of
- 49:32Speaker 2: these you know, construction and all these things, and I
- 49:36Speaker 2: get so stressed out about you know, keeping keeping it going,
- 49:40Speaker 2: you know, keeping I have employees that I'm responsible for now,
- 49:43Speaker 2: you know, and I'm looking at some of the jobs
- 49:46Speaker 2: right now like I'm getting my ass kicked, you know,
- 49:48Speaker 2: like I'm losing money on these jobs. I'm like, fuck,
- 49:50Speaker 2: you know. And like last week I looked at like
- 49:53Speaker 2: the bank account for one of the jobs. I'm like,
- 49:55Speaker 2: this ship is not going good. And like that was
- 49:57Speaker 2: like a huge eight. I'm like, you know, I don't
- 49:59Speaker 2: want a fire. I don't want to get rid of people.
- 50:01Speaker 2: So it's like how do I keep it going? And
- 50:04Speaker 2: I think that's like the constant stress and like ache.
- 50:06Speaker 2: It's like it's like a every week ache, you know. Yeah,
- 50:09Speaker 2: And and like then like the relief to it was
- 50:13Speaker 2: is like, oh, I got this job came through, so
- 50:16Speaker 2: I was like, Okay, well I can take from here
- 50:18Speaker 2: to cover up for this, you know what I mean.
- 50:20Speaker 2: And a lot of these things that are hurting me
- 50:23Speaker 2: right now are going to be like the things that are
- 50:24Speaker 2: going to help me and propel me down the road.
- 50:27Speaker 2: So I think it's like, uh, I don't know. I'm
- 50:30Speaker 2: excited for what's coming, but it's taking a lot out
- 50:32Speaker 2: of me to get there.
- 50:33Speaker 1: Yeah, but like that's the that's what makes things worth having,
- 50:37Speaker 1: like so great, right.
- 50:38Speaker 2: Yeah, Like this past year I put myself through like
- 50:41Speaker 2: like since twenty six going on the show, it's been fun.
- 50:44Speaker 2: It's been appearances, getting paid this and and doing social
- 50:47Speaker 2: media this and getting paid that and like doing all
- 50:49Speaker 2: these crazy fun things. But then this last year I
- 50:51Speaker 2: was like, I want to like I started a construction company.
- 50:53Speaker 2: I wanted to put myself to the test, did all
- 50:55Speaker 2: these things, and I put myself to the test, and
- 50:58Speaker 2: I'm paying for it, you know her And it was brutal,
- 51:01Speaker 2: But I know like a year from now, it's gonna
- 51:03Speaker 2: be a different story.
- 51:04Speaker 3: Of course.
- 51:05Speaker 2: Well, you just have to keep plugging away at it.
- 51:07Speaker 1: You got a good attitude, Yeah, I dig it just
- 51:10Speaker 1: because your ache the rat you saw on special.
- 51:12Speaker 5: For no, but that should be No.
- 51:14Speaker 6: My relief is and I've been I'm so excited to
- 51:17Speaker 6: share this so everyone knows about my gold jewelry adventure.
- 51:23Speaker 5: Looked through all my dms.
- 51:24Speaker 6: Thank you guys so much for the recommendations found Darling gems.
- 51:28Speaker 5: She sends me this, she sends me these.
- 51:31Speaker 6: Oh dam sends me this, She sends Lala, she sends
- 51:34Speaker 6: me this, She sends.
- 51:36Speaker 5: Lalla eleven eleven.
- 51:37Speaker 6: The jewelry is phenomenal, all thirty dollars, most thirty dollars
- 51:41Speaker 6: or less, and I just love it. And I want
- 51:43Speaker 6: to thank her because I was so kind. I never
- 51:45Speaker 6: expect by the way gifts. I was literally truly looking
- 51:48Speaker 6: for recommendations. But Veronica, I love you. You're a freaking angel.
- 51:52Speaker 5: And my ache is gonna be.
- 51:54Speaker 2: A little.
- 51:56Speaker 5: Darker, a lot darker. But my ache is freaking Israel
- 52:02Speaker 5: under attack by true terrorists. It's horrifying.
- 52:08Speaker 6: Not going to get emotional talking about it, but I mean,
- 52:10Speaker 6: obviously it's something to get emotional about. It's horrifying, mother's
- 52:14Speaker 6: children's families being held hostage. It's just these videos are
- 52:19Speaker 6: heart wrenching, and it's I believe it's happening, and it
- 52:23Speaker 6: is happening, and we can't ignore it, and we just
- 52:25Speaker 6: have to amplify it.
- 52:26Speaker 5: But that's Yeah, that's my ache.
- 52:28Speaker 3: Of the week. I share your age.
- 52:32Speaker 1: If we get too deep into it, I will be
- 52:35Speaker 1: sobbing on the floor.
- 52:36Speaker 5: Same.
- 52:37Speaker 3: That is my ache.
- 52:38Speaker 1: My relief, Oh, my relief is that I get to
- 52:44Speaker 1: kind of have some alone time and if I want
- 52:46Speaker 1: to masturbate, I don't have to worry about my you know, Yes.
- 52:51Speaker 3: And my mom are headed to Utah.
- 52:53Speaker 1: Bye, I'm about to have a hay Dame and myself and.
- 52:58Speaker 5: I whoa, we're going on.
- 53:01Speaker 3: We're gonna that is my I'll miss you guys, But
- 53:08Speaker 3: what is your please don't got here.
- 53:13Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm excited to be two states away while you're
- 53:16Speaker 7: your ass. I'm excited to go to Utah. And uh,
- 53:21Speaker 7: that's my relief and ache all in one.
- 53:24Speaker 1: Oh, we're all the same. I dig that TC. It
- 53:28Speaker 1: was the best time ever having you on the pod.
- 53:31Speaker 1: You're looking gorgeous. We hope you and Britain pro create
- 53:35Speaker 1: and she moves to Jupiter.
- 53:37Speaker 2: You gotta get her signed up for Jupiter.
- 53:39Speaker 3: I guess we gotta get her signed up for Jupiter. Hey,
- 53:41Speaker 3: you sold all of us, so I think that I'll.
- 53:44Speaker 7: Even put a good word in, and that's saying something
- 53:47Speaker 7: are we going to be fighting, but down to you.
- 53:50Speaker 3: Oh he's a guys. Guy you guys.
- 53:52Speaker 1: I want to thank you so much for listening to
- 53:54Speaker 1: another episode of the Give Them podcast Tyler.
