  Hope that holds. Waiting can wear on the heart.

  When you have prayed for something again and again, when
• 0:17
  you have hoped for change, healing, clarity, or
• 0:20
  breakthrough and nothing seems to move, it can start to feel
• 0:23
  heavy. Proverbs chapter 13 verse 12
• 0:26
  says hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire
• 0:30
  fulfilled is a tree of life. That verse understands something
• 0:33
  very human. Delayed.
• 0:35
  Hope hurts, waiting is not always easy, and disappointment
• 0:39
  can quietly drain your strength if you are not careful.
• 0:42
  But the story does not end there.
• 0:45
  Proverbs chapter 13 verse 11 says wealth gained hastily will
• 0:49
  dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase
• 0:52
  it. God often works little by
• 0:54
  little. He grows things steadily.
• 0:57
  He forms character patiently. He builds faith over time.

  And Psalm 37, verses 3 to 4 says trust in the Lord and do good.

  Dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.

  Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires
• 1:12
  of your heart. That is such a strong and tender
• 1:15
  invitation. Trust while you wait.
• 1:17
  Do good while you wait. Stay close to faithfulness while
• 1:21
  you wait. Delight in God while you wait.
• 1:24
  That means waiting is not wasted space.
• 1:27
  It is a place where God teaches us to lean on him, not just on
• 1:30
  outcomes. It is where our desires are
• 1:33
  deepened, refined, and sometimes even reshaped.
• 1:37
  Sometimes we think we are waiting only for an answer, but
• 1:40
  God is also growing us in the process.
• 1:43
  Maybe you are carrying a hope that feels delayed right now, a
• 1:46
  prayer that seems unanswered, a promise that feels far away, a
• 1:50
  need that still hurts. God sees that he is not distant
• 1:55
  from your disappointment, He is present in it, and he is still
• 1:58
  trustworthy even when the timing feels difficult.

  Hope that holds is not hope built on perfect circumstances.

  It is hope anchored in the character of God.
• 2:08
  His timing is wise, His love is steady.
• 2:11
  His work is often quiet, but it is never absent.
• 2:14
  So keep trusting. Keep doing good, keep taking the
• 2:18
  next faithful step. Little by little, God is at work
• 2:21
  in ways you may not yet see. And when your heart grows tired,
• 2:24
  return to Him, not just for what he can give, but for who He is.

  Because the deepest hope is not only that God will come through,
• 2:33
  it is that God Himself is near faithful and enough.

  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for

  being faithful when waiting feels hard.

  You see the hopes I carry and the places where my heart feels
• 2:45
  tired. Help me to trust you.

  Do good and remain steady while I wait for your timing.

  Teach me to delight in You more than in quick answers and

  strengthen my heart with hope that holds in Jesus name, Amen.

  He delights in his way. Though he stumble, he shall not

  I have been young, and now I'm old, yet I have not seen the

  righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.

  All day long. He deals graciously and lends.

  His offspring is blessed. Depart from evil and do good,

  live securely forever. For Yahweh loves justice and

  doesn't forsake his Saints. They are preserved forever.

  But the children of the wicked shall be cut off.

  The righteous shall inherit the land and live in it forever.

  The mouth of the righteous talks of wisdom.

  His tongue speaks justice. The law of his God is in his

  heart. None of his steps shall slide.

  The wicked watch the righteous and seek to kill him.

  Yahweh will not leave him in His hand nor condemn him when he is
• 7:23
  judged. Wait for Yahweh and keep His
• 7:26
  way, and He will exalt you to inherit the land.

  When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

  I have seen the wicked in great power, spreading himself like a
• 7:34
  green tree in its native soil. But he passed away, and behold,
• 7:38
  he was not. Yes, I sought him, but he could

  not be found. Mark the perfect man and see the
• 7:44
  upright, for there is a future for the man of peace.
• 7:47
  As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together.
• 7:50
  The future of the wicked shall be cut off, but the salvation of
• 7:53
  the righteous is from Yahweh. He is their stronghold in the
• 7:57
  time of trouble. Yahweh helps them and rescues
• 7:59
  them. He rescues them from the wicked
• 8:02
  and saves them because they have taken refuge in Him.
