- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with on our radio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hey everybody, welcome to the Almost Famous podcast.
- 0:08Speaker 3: We are breaking down Bachelor Nation headlines with our expert
- 0:13Speaker 3: Ashley and Ashley. The first headline today, there was one
- 0:18Speaker 3: that we said we're gonna keep being updated on. I
- 0:22Speaker 3: don't know if we're getting any more clarity other than
- 0:26Speaker 3: we're getting more information. This is the headline, a big
- 0:30Speaker 3: one getting I feel like it's getting more cryptic. But
- 0:34Speaker 3: what are you gonna do?
- 0:35Speaker 2: Bachelor Nations.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Ryan Setter clarifies he and wife Trista are great after
- 0:41Speaker 3: cryptic messages.
- 0:44Speaker 4: Okay, so last week we talked about how Ryan has
- 0:47Speaker 4: posted a series of pictures on Instagram with the captions
- 0:52Speaker 4: that are like I miss you. I can't believe I'm
- 0:55Speaker 4: doing life without you. I need to hear your voice.
- 1:00Speaker 4: And we all just assumed that she's off shooting a show,
- 1:05Speaker 4: but he's making it seem like it's like way more
- 1:08Speaker 4: than that. And I did read in the comments section
- 1:11Speaker 4: somebody was like, you can't like say stuff like this.
- 1:14Speaker 4: It makes us really worried, and he was like, don't
- 1:18Speaker 4: be worried. She's going through something. And she got an
- 1:22Speaker 4: opportunity that she really thought would help her through this
- 1:27Speaker 4: journey that she's on. Everyone is good, It's like, okay,
- 1:32Speaker 4: but then you just said that she's going through something,
- 1:35Speaker 4: So now we're like, is it just a TV show
- 1:37Speaker 4: or what the opportunity has to be a TV show? Apparently,
- 1:40Speaker 4: like I said last week, there's a number of celebrities
- 1:44Speaker 4: along the lines of Trista that did sign off on
- 1:48Speaker 4: Instagram as if they were going to be away for
- 1:50Speaker 4: a while. Some people are speculating in its Traders, some
- 1:53Speaker 4: Special Forces. Last week it was as if Bob Guinea
- 1:58Speaker 4: could confirmed that it was Special Forces, but then he
- 2:00Speaker 4: told us that he actually has no idea, so who knows.
- 2:03Speaker 4: But let's get into this a little bit because because
- 2:09Speaker 4: Ryan did get on Instagram and try to clarify all
- 2:16Speaker 4: the cryptic stuff he said, I write what's on my
- 2:20Speaker 4: mind at the moment. I write my feelings without regard
- 2:24Speaker 4: for how they will be interpreted, and with absolutely no
- 2:27Speaker 4: intent to deceive or mislead anyone. This is the farthest
- 2:30Speaker 4: thing from my mind. I choose to share my thoughts
- 2:32Speaker 4: on the occasion because it helps me process them and
- 2:37Speaker 4: I hope may help others navigate their own lives just
- 2:40Speaker 4: as fine. We are fine, We are great, Just as
- 2:43Speaker 4: in a place in her life where she's searching a bit,
- 2:46Speaker 4: an opportunity presented itself that may help her on this quest. Oh,
- 2:50Speaker 4: that is the quote that I was referring to earlier.
- 2:53Speaker 4: With her family's support, she's taken it part of the process.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Means that she's temporarily inaccessible to us. I miss her,
- 3:00Speaker 4: We miss her. I wish that Jared would miss me
- 3:04Speaker 4: like this. You're away from Jess all the time. I
- 3:10Speaker 4: have a couple of days every month where I'm away
- 3:12Speaker 4: from Jared, and I don't think he ever missed me
- 3:15Speaker 4: like this. But yeah, I mean, we hope that everybody's good.
- 3:21Speaker 4: I think that.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Think.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Oh, I would like to say that we did try
- 3:26Speaker 4: to get right on the podcast. We wanted him to
- 3:29Speaker 4: just talk about his feelings, but he said that he
- 3:32Speaker 4: would rather Trista address everything when she's back, as she
- 3:37Speaker 4: is our og bachelorette.
- 3:40Speaker 3: So, in doing some investigation, I think we've pretty much
- 3:44Speaker 3: came to the consensus.
- 3:46Speaker 2: It's not traders. She's not on.
- 3:48Speaker 4: Traders, Okay, And why did you come to that, because
- 3:50Speaker 4: you know somebody who's going on traders I.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Believe, I know somebody is going on Traders and it
- 3:56Speaker 3: has not started filming yet, and it doesn't start filming
- 3:58Speaker 3: for a while, so then it leaves us with Special
- 4:02Speaker 3: Forces or show that we.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Don't know of that's on like a lesser no network.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Sure, I don't think it's Special Forces, because she has
- 4:11Speaker 3: commented on some of Ryan's posts, and uh, there it
- 4:17Speaker 3: was spoken that they had that Ryan and Trista have
- 4:20Speaker 3: spoken on the phone, and Trista did reply to one
- 4:23Speaker 3: of our text messages. If it was Special Forces, she
- 4:27Speaker 3: wouldn't be replying to text messages.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Also, the first post that Ryan shared was on May eleventh,
- 4:35Speaker 3: in today's May twenty second. Now she could have left,
- 4:39Speaker 3: got some prep, the timeline would work out for Special
- 4:42Speaker 3: Forces that she would kind of be back about, you know,
- 4:45Speaker 3: within the next few days.
- 4:46Speaker 4: Yeah, it's only ten days of filming.
- 4:48Speaker 3: It's only ten days of filming, two to three days
- 4:50Speaker 3: of prep, and.
- 4:51Speaker 4: So you know, like if you don't win, you get home,
- 4:55Speaker 4: you can get home within a week.
- 4:57Speaker 3: So it has to be a show that we don't
- 4:59Speaker 3: know about. The confusing part here is the comment that
- 5:05Speaker 3: she was going through something and so she got an
- 5:08Speaker 3: opportunity that she thought would help that that, you know,
- 5:11Speaker 3: in our story assumptions. I wonder if christ was feeling like, hey,
- 5:18Speaker 3: nobody cares anymore, Like she knows she's fallen, so it's
- 5:22Speaker 3: been so long, nobody's paying attention to or she's not
- 5:24Speaker 3: getting any of the opportunities that other people are getting.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Because Ryan's most recent post kind of speaks to that too,
- 5:29Speaker 3: is it did feel good for people to know or
- 5:33Speaker 3: notice and care about what was going on in their relationship.
- 5:36Speaker 3: So I wonder if Trista was just kind of hitting that, hey,
- 5:40Speaker 3: you know what, like I haven't gotten known for anything
- 5:44Speaker 3: or done anything exciting or new for so long, and
- 5:47Speaker 3: I'm feeling a little sluggish, and then she got ass
- 5:49Speaker 3: to be on a show and she's like, maybe this
- 5:51Speaker 3: could help that. I could see that being the case,
- 5:53Speaker 3: and it would be completely fair. These messages are cryptic,
- 5:58Speaker 3: and they do and I think without context and without
- 6:02Speaker 3: knowing Ryan and knowing that, like, social media isn't his thing,
- 6:07Speaker 3: he doesn't love it, and I get that, and as
- 6:11Speaker 3: a result, I don't think he knows the world of
- 6:14Speaker 3: social media and how people read into stuff. I think
- 6:18Speaker 3: that I would assume just based on the last few
- 6:21Speaker 3: posts like, yeah, thinks things aren't like things are going
- 6:24Speaker 3: bad somewhere. I don't know how or where, but things
- 6:26Speaker 3: are going bad. But I don't think it's the case
- 6:27Speaker 3: at all because of kind of how he's trying to
- 6:29Speaker 3: clarify what he's doing and what he's saying. I think
- 6:34Speaker 3: he's like, no, no, no, please. I think if he
- 6:36Speaker 3: was on our podcast, you say no, no, no, everything's great.
- 6:39Speaker 3: She's just gone and I miss her. I will say
- 6:42Speaker 3: it is an amazing amount of missing that he's doing,
- 6:45Speaker 3: and that is awesome.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:46Speaker 3: I think that is so cool that he is willing
- 6:49Speaker 3: to wear his heart in his sleeve and share with
- 6:52Speaker 3: the world that he is missing his wife, that he
- 6:54Speaker 3: loves so much that he doesn't like being away from her.
- 6:56Speaker 3: I think that is the sweetest thing ever. And at
- 6:58Speaker 3: some point I hope we look back and be like
- 6:59Speaker 3: that just a really sweet time where he was vulnerable
- 7:02Speaker 3: with all of us and he shared with all of us.
- 7:05Speaker 3: I am excited to talk to Trista here at the
- 7:09Speaker 3: Almost Famous podcast because I think she's going to be like,
- 7:12Speaker 3: what in the world was going on when I was?
- 7:14Speaker 4: You know? I love it. I can't wait to hear
- 7:17Speaker 4: her for her take. Okay, what's our next headline? It's
- 7:21Speaker 4: a big one.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Yeah, we do got some big ones today. Colton Underwood
- 7:26Speaker 3: and his partner and his husband, Jordan C. Brown, are
- 7:31Speaker 3: expecting their first baby together.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Congratulations you too. They confirmed this news in an interview
- 7:39Speaker 4: with Men's Health. It was published yesterday May twenty first,
- 7:44Speaker 4: and the couple explained that they used a concierge service
- 7:48Speaker 4: to find an egg donor, but they will not know
- 7:51Speaker 4: which of their sperm was used to create the baby.
- 7:57Speaker 4: They said, some people want blue eyes, blonde hair. We
- 8:00Speaker 4: want someone deep and cool. I believe in nature versus nurture.
- 8:05Speaker 4: So give us the basics and we'll show this kid.
- 8:08Speaker 4: Love our little boy. It's a boy. It's coming in
- 8:11Speaker 4: the fall.
- 8:12Speaker 3: It's an exciting time for the two of them. Obviously,
- 8:14Speaker 3: Colton Ashley, you probably know more about this than I do.
- 8:17Speaker 3: He started a project, like a podcast right to kind
- 8:19Speaker 3: of talk about this journey and yeah, to.
- 8:21Speaker 4: Talk about like really getting his sperm right, because there
- 8:25Speaker 4: was a lot that he was doing for what he
- 8:27Speaker 4: thought was his you know, physical health, that wasn't doing
- 8:32Speaker 4: the sperm well.
- 8:34Speaker 3: So this is a big journey for the two of them.
- 8:36Speaker 3: It is exciting. We will be falling along with that
- 8:39Speaker 3: as well.
- 8:40Speaker 4: When you don't know whose sperm is used and the
- 8:44Speaker 4: baby is born, do you feel like it they will,
- 8:50Speaker 4: they will figure out whose sperm was used, and do
- 8:52Speaker 4: you be just based on like appearance and maybe personality,
- 8:57Speaker 4: and how do you think that will make the other
- 8:59Speaker 4: person and feel.
- 9:01Speaker 2: I don't think it will be a thing at all.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Honestly, I know what you're It's clear to me just
- 9:10Speaker 3: based on how we care as humans. When you want
- 9:13Speaker 3: to be a parent and you have a child through adoption, fostering,
- 9:20Speaker 3: through donation, through you know, all these ways, you know
- 9:24Speaker 3: that we've the medical community has allowed us to have children.
- 9:30Speaker 3: I think the bond with that baby starts immediately and
- 9:36Speaker 3: it is consistent, and I think it will be not
- 9:41Speaker 3: even a thing. I think it would take a really
- 9:44Speaker 3: uniquely selfish human to feel like, oh, they didn't use mine,
- 9:52Speaker 3: I don't care as much, you know, Like I think
- 9:55Speaker 3: that would I think that would be a person who
- 9:57Speaker 3: is not wanting to be a parent, Like. I think
- 9:59Speaker 3: that would be a per that would come from a
- 10:00Speaker 3: person who's like definitely going through the parent journey just
- 10:05Speaker 3: for their own gratification and not to love and a
- 10:09Speaker 3: child well and to raise a child well. So totally,
- 10:13Speaker 3: I don't think it'll be a thing. And here's the
- 10:15Speaker 3: other part of it. Jordan and Colton look enough similar,
- 10:19Speaker 3: right that I don't know if they'll ever know or
- 10:22Speaker 3: need to know. Yeah, I don't know who knows. It's
- 10:26Speaker 3: a good question. Yeah, I mean I think it. Here's
- 10:29Speaker 3: a deal. Though at the same time, I'm not saying
- 10:31Speaker 3: that thinking that every parent like immediately falls in love
- 10:34Speaker 3: with their new baby. I know my friends and my
- 10:36Speaker 3: friends are like, it took me a long time, Like
- 10:39Speaker 3: for like months, I was like, I don't know what
- 10:41Speaker 3: I'm going to do with this little thing that doesn't
- 10:44Speaker 3: talk or you know, that just needs my care. And
- 10:47Speaker 3: then there seems to be with every parent I know,
- 10:50Speaker 3: new parent, I know, there's that moment or there's moments
- 10:53Speaker 3: and all of a sudden, you're like, I can't think
- 10:55Speaker 3: of anything else other.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Than this child.
- 10:57Speaker 4: Yeah, Jared and I were honest. It wasn't like he
- 10:58Speaker 4: came out of my body and I was like, I
- 11:02Speaker 4: see Heaven's gates because like my my mother in law
- 11:06Speaker 4: told me that that's what she saw. But like we
- 11:10Speaker 4: definitely it was. It was a matter of a day
- 11:13Speaker 4: before we were like, we must protect this child at
- 11:16Speaker 4: Augusts and it grows more and more every day and now,
- 11:18Speaker 4: and we are also honest about like our concerns now
- 11:21Speaker 4: with the second kid. We're like, you're telling me that
- 11:25Speaker 4: we're gonna love this second kid as much as we
- 11:28Speaker 4: love Dawson. Now, how is that possible? But that's also
- 11:31Speaker 4: like whatever most parents also are concerned about for the
- 11:35Speaker 4: second one.
- 11:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Bachelor lum Sean Lowe reveals secret to ten year marriage
- 11:51Speaker 3: to wife Catherine. His quote is, it's just about committing.
- 11:57Speaker 4: He said. Anyone who's been married knows that it takes work.
- 12:02Speaker 4: The bachelor is great at making you feel all these
- 12:04Speaker 4: emotions that you're writing high on love, that you have
- 12:06Speaker 4: these feelings, that you're going to have these feelings for
- 12:08Speaker 4: the rest of your life. But once you get into
- 12:10Speaker 4: the real world, some days you don't feel all the
- 12:13Speaker 4: love that you had when you got down on one knee.
- 12:17Speaker 4: So for us, it's just about committing, and part of
- 12:21Speaker 4: that is trying to be the best partner you can
- 12:23Speaker 4: be for your spouse. You know, we went through a
- 12:26Speaker 4: lot of stuff. She had to pick up her life
- 12:28Speaker 4: in Seattle and moved to Texas. We spent eight weeks
- 12:31Speaker 4: with me competing on Dancing with the Stars shortly after
- 12:34Speaker 4: the engagement, and there were some growing pains and just
- 12:38Speaker 4: learning how to communicate with one another, what our love
- 12:40Speaker 4: languages are, and learning how to get in disagreements and
- 12:45Speaker 4: healthy ways. It's a lot for any relationship, but especially
- 12:48Speaker 4: in those circumstances. He said. When we got married, I
- 12:53Speaker 4: was thirty, and when you're thirty, he developed certain patterns
- 12:56Speaker 4: in your life that you're comfortable with. And then you think, well,
- 12:59Speaker 4: I'm going to get married and I'm going to continue
- 13:01Speaker 4: with these patterns because it's the way that my life
- 13:03Speaker 4: has always been. Then then you recognize, wait a minute,
- 13:07Speaker 4: I need to break some of these patterns. I need
- 13:10Speaker 4: to take my wife's interests in mind.
- 13:12Speaker 3: And I think over time, I mean, even after you
- 13:15Speaker 3: know almost three years like it, you have to continue
- 13:18Speaker 3: to revisit what kind of partner you're being. And I
- 13:22Speaker 3: do think the committing piece is true on all levels, right,
- 13:28Speaker 3: committing to your partner, committing to trying to get better,
- 13:30Speaker 3: committing to still communicating, being honest and being vulnerable, committing
- 13:36Speaker 3: to still date your partner, and all the things. I
- 13:40Speaker 3: think committing is a good word to use here. And
- 13:43Speaker 3: I read this and I'm taking some advice because I'm
- 13:45Speaker 3: not to ten years, and I will listen to somebody.
- 13:48Speaker 4: I thought the same thing. When I was reading this,
- 13:50Speaker 4: I was like, oh, okay, yeah, because I think my
- 13:54Speaker 4: word would be effort. I think you have to put
- 13:57Speaker 4: constant effort into it.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Intentionality, intentional, that's good, Yeah, effort, committing. All those things
- 14:03Speaker 3: are true because you can get lackadaisical. And I actually
- 14:09Speaker 3: think sometimes when Jessica and I are at our best
- 14:12Speaker 3: as a couple, it actually we have to revisit, hey,
- 14:16Speaker 3: are we at our best, and we're just gonna kind
- 14:19Speaker 3: of get like lax and how we love each other
- 14:22Speaker 3: and what we do for each other, and then we're
- 14:24Speaker 3: always gonna, on the end of a good season come
- 14:27Speaker 3: into a pretty tough season because of that. So like
- 14:30Speaker 3: we even when we're at our best, we still got
- 14:32Speaker 3: to stay intentional and celebrate those moments. And I will
- 14:36Speaker 3: listen to Sean Low and his advice. Bachelor in Paradise
- 14:39Speaker 3: is Beca Kufrem and Thomas Jacobs. Actually, I've been following
- 14:43Speaker 3: this story pretty closely because I am super interested in this.
- 14:46Speaker 3: I've been watching Thomas's updates today. Actually, they still celebrate
- 14:51Speaker 3: buying a new house. They call it a home, Sweet Home.
- 14:55Speaker 3: It looks awesome.
- 14:56Speaker 4: Yeah, it's very cute in there. She's always wanted to
- 15:00Speaker 4: as a family in an original craftsman home, and she's
- 15:03Speaker 4: pinching herself that that's exactly what they're doing. They just
- 15:07Speaker 4: bought a new house in San Diego. Becca's done a
- 15:09Speaker 4: lot of moving in the past couple of years since
- 15:11Speaker 4: getting with Jacob, since getting with Thomas, because she bought
- 15:16Speaker 4: her house in La a couple months before meeting Thomas,
- 15:20Speaker 4: and then decided to sell that move in with Thomas
- 15:24Speaker 4: down in the San Diego area. And now they're moving
- 15:27Speaker 4: into this new house. What is it about it that
- 15:30Speaker 4: is so interesting to you?
- 15:31Speaker 2: I mean, besides the.
- 15:31Speaker 4: Fact that it is a very it's a very cool,
- 15:34Speaker 4: original craftsman And told me, well, I mean.
- 15:38Speaker 2: I love Beca. I guess you know.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Obviously I got to spend a lot of time with
- 15:41Speaker 3: her in Bachelor Live on stage, and I've met Thomas
- 15:45Speaker 3: a few times. He seems terrific and I really appreciate
- 15:48Speaker 3: his story kind of through the franchise and just how
- 15:52Speaker 3: he you know, handled himself, even when he kind of
- 15:56Speaker 3: got a raw into the deal for a bit, it seemed.
- 15:58Speaker 3: And then you know, they start this family, they do
- 16:03Speaker 3: all the things, and then this house has such a
- 16:06Speaker 3: history to it. I think he said today they purchased
- 16:10Speaker 3: it for the first time since it was built, like
- 16:13Speaker 3: the Famili's owned it since they eighteen hundreds and.
- 16:15Speaker 4: So, oh it's been passed down that many times.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Yeah, it's yeah, it's been passed down.
- 16:21Speaker 3: So if you go to his instagram, on some of
- 16:24Speaker 3: the trim on the door, they have the markings of
- 16:27Speaker 3: like all the kids' heights at different ages. It's like
- 16:31Speaker 3: hundreds of years of you know, family members. And so
- 16:33Speaker 3: he's taking that trim down and shipping it to the
- 16:36Speaker 3: family that.
- 16:36Speaker 2: They bought them from, the home from. I think it's awesome.
- 16:39Speaker 3: And then the other side of this that I'm super
- 16:41Speaker 3: intrigued by is the fact that there was an offer
- 16:46Speaker 3: for a lot more money for this house. He said,
- 16:49Speaker 3: really yeah, from an investor, and the family sold it
- 16:52Speaker 3: to Thomas and Becca because they knew that Thomas and
- 16:55Speaker 3: Becca would treat it like a home to raise a
- 16:57Speaker 3: family in and not to tear down down or you know,
- 17:01Speaker 3: completely remodel or whatever, or to Airbnb. I don't know
- 17:05Speaker 3: what the family was worried about, and so I am
- 17:09Speaker 3: just super excited for the two of them because I
- 17:13Speaker 3: think this seems like a home they're going to be in,
- 17:15Speaker 3: maybe forever, and anytime that happens, that's just such a
- 17:18Speaker 3: sweet idea. Somebody you're going to be calling this place
- 17:20Speaker 3: you're home for the rest of your life, and I
- 17:23Speaker 3: think that's what Thomas and Becka are doing. So it's
- 17:25Speaker 3: like very I'm just very intrigued excited to see the
- 17:28Speaker 3: updates and then see how it looks once they move in.
- 17:31Speaker 4: Oh that's so cute. That's such a good story.
- 17:33Speaker 3: Thank you for sharing that final headline today, a Golden
- 17:39Speaker 3: Bachelor in Paradise spin off could transform the franchise. These
- 17:43Speaker 3: are rumors that something might be happening, and Ashley, I
- 17:48Speaker 3: want to hear your thoughts, based on the fact that
- 17:51Speaker 3: we obviously know Paradise isn't happening this year, would it
- 17:56Speaker 3: heal any piece of your heart if the Golden Bachelor
- 18:00Speaker 3: started doing Paradise.
- 18:03Speaker 4: Well, this article that we have here is really just
- 18:05Speaker 4: a thought piece. They're obviously saying that the franchise is
- 18:10Speaker 4: prioritizing the golden side of it, as they have chosen
- 18:14Speaker 4: to do the Golden Bachelorette over Paradise with this time
- 18:17Speaker 4: that they have over the summer. I would it, heal
- 18:22Speaker 4: my heart, I don't. I don't think so. I soon
- 18:26Speaker 4: would miss original Paradise. I don't know. I don't know.
- 18:31Speaker 4: I'm not against it. I'm not again, I don't really
- 18:35Speaker 4: have like a reason as to why. I would just
- 18:38Speaker 4: prefer to see the younger people get together. I think
- 18:44Speaker 4: that it would be I think it's almost like we
- 18:49Speaker 4: take it more seriously for the younger people. I think
- 18:52Speaker 4: that it would be almost too much of a parody,
- 18:55Speaker 4: like almost too much of an snl skit to do
- 18:59Speaker 4: Golden Bachelor in Paradise. If they did some sort of
- 19:04Speaker 4: version of like Winter Games that would with the older people,
- 19:10Speaker 4: like where it's in a lodge and it takes place
- 19:12Speaker 4: during the winter and something like that, that would be cute.
- 19:16Speaker 4: That would be a little bit more just like planted
- 19:21Speaker 4: in the ground, do you know what I mean? A
- 19:23Speaker 4: little bit more on earth, whereas like watching them drink
- 19:27Speaker 4: Margarita's by the pool is just like, yeah, maybe just
- 19:31Speaker 4: too much of a Jodge. I don't want to say
- 19:33Speaker 4: it's a joke, but you know what I mean.
- 19:35Speaker 2: I know what you mean.
- 19:37Speaker 3: It would be a very different feel and vibe.
- 19:42Speaker 2: You know.
- 19:43Speaker 3: I think Paradise today though, actually could work because what
- 19:47Speaker 3: we used to know in Paradise is people like partying, drinking,
- 19:50Speaker 3: showing up, you know, mostly there for a good time.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Paradise has kind of changed over the years. A lot
- 19:57Speaker 3: of relationships have came from Paradise. I do think a
- 20:01Speaker 3: lot of it would work. I just would rather see
- 20:03Speaker 3: a spin off be more of a competition show like
- 20:07Speaker 3: a Winter Games than I would a Paradise because I
- 20:10Speaker 3: do wonder what in the world, you know, the Golden
- 20:14Speaker 3: contestants would do on a beach for a month.
- 20:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm not saying like make it don't have a
- 20:22Speaker 4: spin off with the Golden people totally, just like make
- 20:25Speaker 4: it new.
- 20:27Speaker 3: Make it new. It's going to be interesting what they
- 20:30Speaker 3: do here. There is a lot in flux with Bachelor Nation,
- 20:33Speaker 3: and there's a lot a lot of weight being put
- 20:37Speaker 3: on the Golden Bachelor at now, and I.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Think it will be successful.
- 20:42Speaker 3: I think the show, my excitement for it has not changed,
- 20:48Speaker 3: my frustrations with it have increased because I think they
- 20:54Speaker 3: tried to formulate the Golden Bachelor's show too much like
- 21:00Speaker 3: the other Bachelor show, losing some of the zeal and
- 21:03Speaker 3: then also, I think that's one of the one of
- 21:05Speaker 3: the reasons why, you know, now we're sitting here without
- 21:08Speaker 3: a success story, and I would I want to see
- 21:13Speaker 3: the Golden Bachelor at the Golden Bachelor be a little
- 21:15Speaker 3: bit different, a little more relatable, and not so much
- 21:21Speaker 3: just a you know, another Bachelor show. So we'll see
- 21:25Speaker 3: what the Golden Bachelor at.
- 21:26Speaker 4: To me, I just wanted to be slower.
- 21:28Speaker 2: I want it to be slower. Yeah, we don't have
- 21:30Speaker 2: to do the same retired life.
- 21:31Speaker 4: Let's make it slow.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Yeah out all right, that's all the headlines we have
- 21:35Speaker 3: for you today. There's some big ones in there. We'll
- 21:38Speaker 3: be back this week with an almost good advice. We'll
- 21:42Speaker 3: have some interviews coming out. Obviously we have headlines, so
- 21:45Speaker 3: stay tuned. We're going to continue to follow this Trista
