- Powerball Stretches Higher! This is The Lottery Rundown for Wednesday August 5th Mega Millions drew Tuesday night with 14, 21, 51, 55, 65, and Mega Ball 21. Nobody hit the jackpot, so this one rolls on quietly after last week’s top prize win. The number 51 came back from the previous draw, refusing to leave like it already paid for parking, while 65 sits on the colder side, with 37 appearances over the last six years. Friday’s jackpot is an estimated 70 million dollars, with a 30 million dollar cash value. What would you do with that kind of money before your bank app needed a chair? Moving to Powerball, the last draw was Monday, August 3, with 8, 30, 41, 48, 54, and Powerball 4, with a 2X multiplier. No jackpot winner landed, but one lucky ticket holder in Wisconsin scored 2 million dollars. The number 41 showed up as one of the five least-drawn white balls over the last six years, while Powerball 4 is near the top of its own list with 46 appearances. Tonight’s jackpot is an estimated 786 million dollars, with a 342 million dollar cash value. That could buy an indoor ski resort for people who think regular winter lacks ambition. This Powerball run is now 39 drawings and 93 days without a jackpot winner, longer than usual and around the 86th percentile of recent gaps.
