Speaker 3: the show. Welcome to I said No Gifts. I'm Bridger
• 1:35
Speaker 3: weineger Oh. I lost my voice last week. Today is
• 1:39
Speaker 3: the first day that my voice is even semi returned
• 1:44
Speaker 3: to normal. The whole podcast was in jeopardy. You know,
• 1:48
Speaker 3: life is so fragile. Podcasts are even more fragile. This
• 1:54
Speaker 3: could have all gone away, and then it would have
• 1:56
Speaker 3: been on a lease on the mic, and I'm sure
• 1:58
Speaker 3: they would have loved that, but I'm sure the reviews
• 2:02
Speaker 3: would have tanked on a lease. Don't think about it.
• 2:06
  Speaker 3: That's all I'm going to say. I was traveling, I
• 2:09
Speaker 3: got a cold, I lost my voice. Someone at the
• 2:12
Speaker 3: airport quoted me five to ten minutes wait, which we
• 2:16
Speaker 3: have to stop saying five to ten minute wait. It
• 2:18
Speaker 3: means nothing. I have never had someone say five to
• 2:21
Speaker 3: ten minute wait, and then that's the time. It's either
• 2:24
Speaker 3: two minutes or a half hour. It's a meaningless thing
• 2:27
Speaker 3: to say. Just say wait, just say it'll be a second,
• 2:32
Speaker 3: because it doesn't mean anything to me. In this scenario,
• 2:35
Speaker 3: it was a minute and a half wait, and then
• 2:37
Speaker 3: I almost lost my place in the line. I still
• 2:39
Speaker 3: ended up in group F on the airplane, but that's
• 2:41
Speaker 3: my fault. But yeah, five to ten minute wait. Now
• 2:45
Speaker 3: that I'm really thinking about this, that is it's bad news.
• 2:50
Speaker 3: It's bad news. It does mean two minutes or forty
• 2:53
Speaker 3: five minutes, So let's stop saying that twenty twenty five,
• 2:56
Speaker 3: no one's ever going to say five to ten minute
• 2:58
Speaker 3: wait again. Oh, I'm glad I brought it up. You know,
• 3:01
Speaker 3: this is why I've got a voice, This is why
• 3:03
Speaker 3: I have a platform for these sort of issues. But please,
• 3:07
  Speaker 3: let's get into the podcast. I adore today's guest. It's
• 3:11
Speaker 3: Adam Rippon. Adam, welcome to I said, no gifts.
• 3:14
  Speaker 4: It's an honor, it's a privilege. I couldn't agree with
• 3:17
Speaker 4: you more about your airport etiquette. And I'm glad that
• 3:21
Speaker 4: you have your voice back because I think it's important
• 3:23
Speaker 4: that somebody kind of stand up to the big guys
• 3:26
Speaker 4: instead of just Pete Budaje edge.
• 3:28
Speaker 3: Right. So now there was one one of us, now
• 3:30
Speaker 3: there or two of us. And this is how we
• 3:32
Speaker 3: create change. Absolutely one one voice becomes millions.
• 3:35
Speaker 4: A lot of people said that about Jill Stein this year,
• 3:38
Speaker 4: So I don't really know kind of how to take
• 3:41
Speaker 4: that or kind of where to go with that, but
• 3:43
Speaker 4: I do stand with you on five to ten minutes
• 3:46
Speaker 4: does not mean anything.
• 3:47
Speaker 3: It really doesn't mean anything to me when somebody says that,
• 3:49
Speaker 3: I just think, oh, so just nobody knows anything, right now, No,
• 3:54
Speaker 3: and it could be any amount of time.
• 3:56
Speaker 4: I am personally guilty of doing that quite often.
• 4:00
Speaker 3: Are you quoting people five to ten minute waits all
• 4:02
  Speaker 3: the time?
• 4:03
Speaker 4: I'll be there in a minute, in an hour, But
• 4:05
Speaker 4: that's an My husband is finish and so he takes
• 4:09
Speaker 4: everything I say literally for which is the worst thing
• 4:12
Speaker 4: anybody absolutely ever could do. So I'm like, I'll be
• 4:16
Speaker 4: home in five minutes, which will turn into maybe I'd
• 4:18
Speaker 4: come back in two days.
• 4:19
  Speaker 3: You know, I don't know.
• 4:21
Speaker 4: Five minutes is a turn of phrase, right, it's not
• 4:24
Speaker 4: an actual unit of time. But I'm not in a
• 4:26
  Speaker 4: professional setting. I'm on an iPhone, right, l e X
• 4:29
Speaker 4: is a professional setting.
• 4:30
Speaker 3: Yes, there should not be a five to ten minute
• 4:32
Speaker 3: wait at LAX. It's not even the cheesecake factor. No,
• 4:36
Speaker 3: at least there they give you the buzzer. Yeah, they
• 4:38
Speaker 3: five rates in your hand. You know. You know, when
• 4:40
Speaker 3: you're at least within five minutes completely at the airport,
• 4:42
Speaker 3: you should have a real strict the planes take off
• 4:45
Speaker 3: at specific amounts of I mean, it's it's lawless. Yes, no,
• 4:49
Speaker 3: it'solutelytill five to ten minutes of the airport. I might
• 4:52
Speaker 3: as well just go home.
• 4:53
Speaker 4: And you know what each terminal is a different country.
• 4:56
Speaker 4: They have different rules, they have different Oh love is
• 5:00
  Speaker 4: a quality.
• 5:01
Speaker 3: Oh it's awful. I was in the Jet Blue terminal
• 5:04
Speaker 3: this time, and I've got to say things are not
• 5:06
Speaker 3: looking good over there, really, the quality of I think
• 5:09
Speaker 3: they have a coffee Bean, which, first of all, a
• 5:11
Speaker 3: coffee bean in the airport, forget it, so sad. It's
• 5:14
Speaker 3: the worst case scenario.
• 5:16
Speaker 4: They're the worst coffee artisans on the block first of all,
• 5:19
Speaker 4: Like I would say, on the block, going to a
• 5:22
Speaker 4: coffee bean is okay, Yeah, it's not that bad. No,
• 5:24
Speaker 4: but it's sort of bad. It is not sort of good.
• 5:28
Speaker 4: They do have the good ice though, right.
• 5:30
Speaker 3: They have a much better ice at Coffee Bean, way
• 5:32
Speaker 3: better than Starbucks. Are kidding me. They have the pebble
• 5:34
Speaker 3: ice exactly. But when you see them at an airport,
• 5:39
Speaker 3: I think it's almost a completely different brand at that point,
• 5:42
Speaker 3: it's like it just popped up there. Coffee Bean Corporate
• 5:45
Speaker 3: isn't even a where it exists.
• 5:46
Speaker 4: Oh no, well, because it's probably like Coffee Bean and
• 5:49
Speaker 4: co It's like something they got away with something. Can
• 5:51
Speaker 4: I share something with you that I've found out that
• 5:53
Speaker 4: I cannot stop thinking about? Please, don't I know there,
• 5:58
Speaker 4: I actually have to We actually.
• 6:00
Speaker 3: Have a few minutes left on the podcast, and you know,
• 6:02
Speaker 3: I've had a great time, and so thank you. I
• 6:05
Speaker 3: think it'll go ahead, please.
• 6:08
Speaker 4: Simone Biles is opening a restaurant wait in the airport
• 6:20
Speaker 4: what called taste of Gold. I just kind of wanted
• 6:26
Speaker 4: you to sit with that.
• 6:28
Speaker 3: Every piece of information how you told that out was
• 6:30
Speaker 3: so perfect. Taste of Gold. Should I try to guess
• 6:33
Speaker 3: what sort of food it is?
• 6:34
Speaker 4: I think you're going to be right.
• 6:36
Speaker 3: Is it burgers and bar food?
• 6:40
Speaker 4: I think more importantly, I don't know anything about it.
• 6:43
  Speaker 4: By the way, I don't I need actually I can
• 6:45
Speaker 4: here to promote it.
• 6:45
Speaker 3: You are an early investor. I'm the only I don't
• 6:50
Speaker 3: know anything about it.
• 6:51
Speaker 4: I think the first thing I want to know about
• 6:53
Speaker 4: it is it before or after security, because.
• 6:56
Speaker 3: I think that makes a huge difference, huge difference, because
• 7:00
Speaker 3: you know, in airport's after security. And this actually is
• 7:04
Speaker 3: probably completely wrong. I'm now I'm probably just making something up,
• 7:07
Speaker 3: but I think after security there's like a full company
• 7:10
Speaker 3: that takes care of all of those restaurants, and that's
• 7:12
Speaker 3: why airport quality food is a little bit worse, because
• 7:15
Speaker 3: like there's one company or a couple that have security
• 7:19
Speaker 3: clearance to get the food through. So somebody's like, not
• 7:22
Speaker 3: like baking a bomb into a coffee bean pastry my
• 7:25
Speaker 3: favorite flavor. And so I think that's why before you
• 7:31
Speaker 3: get through security. I think they can be real versions
• 7:34
Speaker 3: of restaurants. Are you serious? I mean again, I could
• 7:38
Speaker 3: be completely making this up.
• 7:39
Speaker 4: Well I'm like, well that would make sense because I
• 7:41
Speaker 4: do think. Isn't there like a Planet Hollywood that's like
• 7:45
Speaker 4: right outside of the Tom Bradley security which would make
• 7:49
Speaker 4: sense because I don't think Planet Hollywood food could make.
• 7:51
Speaker 3: It through security. Oh, there's no way. No, Absolutely, they'd
• 7:54
Speaker 3: be stopped. Also, is that the last planet Hollywood in existence?
• 7:59
Speaker 3: It is? Yeah, you're also an investor there. You're trying
• 8:04
Speaker 3: to get it back off the ground.
• 8:05
Speaker 4: Well, I already took my money out reinvested it right
• 8:08
Speaker 4: into Taste of Gold, which will be coming to the
• 8:10
Speaker 4: Dallas Fort Wayne Airport before after security. I don't know
• 8:13
Speaker 4: it's in the Dallas, it's going to the Dallas.
• 8:16
Speaker 3: I spend a lot of time there, well, I have
• 8:18
Speaker 3: in the last year because you should check out Taste
• 8:20
Speaker 3: of because I work there. I met the spirit Airlines,
• 8:26
Speaker 3: Dallas Fort Worth Airport, Terminal four. No, I actually was.
• 8:32
Speaker 3: I had a little mental break. I think TB where
• 8:37
  Speaker 3: I decided I liked taking a a break in between
• 8:42
Speaker 3: LA and New York, and so often I would stop
• 8:46
  Speaker 3: in Dallas.
• 8:48
Speaker 4: And I'm smiling like the cheshure cat, I'm going, what
• 8:51
Speaker 4: mais are two stars knowing what's going on?
• 8:54
Speaker 3: Hear me out? Hear me out? Try too, Okay, yes,
• 8:58
Speaker 3: in theory, and it worked once you start over. Okay,
• 9:01
Speaker 3: So I'm I am going back and forth between New
• 9:04
Speaker 3: York and LA a decent amount of over the last year,
• 9:07
Speaker 3: probably four hundred times. Okay, in a plane, in a plane, unfortunately, Okay,
• 9:12
Speaker 3: I'd rather be doing it by river boat. But and
• 9:15
Speaker 3: I thought, and I love to go out of Burbank.
• 9:17
Speaker 3: I love to go out of Burbank Airport, and I
• 9:19
Speaker 3: love to go to LaGuardia Airport. There are not a
• 9:21
Speaker 3: lot of direct flights from Burbank to LaGuardia. Yes, and
• 9:24
Speaker 3: now I think from Burbank to New York at all.
• 9:27
Speaker 3: I love the listener loves just kind of the logistics
• 9:30
Speaker 3: of the stay with us guys. Really, it's getting better.
• 9:36
Speaker 3: I can feel it. But I had to take a
• 9:41
Speaker 3: flight there. There was not a direct flight, so I thought, well,
• 9:43
Speaker 3: I'll have to stop in Dallas for an hour. Of course,
• 9:46
Speaker 3: I'll give it a shot. The first time it worked perfectly.
• 9:49
Speaker 3: It felt like I was on a road trip and
• 9:50
Speaker 3: I was stopping for lunch, got stopped there, got on
• 9:54
Speaker 3: the plane, got to New York, and of course was
• 9:56
Speaker 3: like a nine hour journey rather than the traditional five
• 9:59
Speaker 3: to six. But I got to have my lunch, read
• 10:01
  Speaker 3: a book.
• 10:01
Speaker 4: But you're non traditional traveler, So what everbody knows that
• 10:05
  Speaker 4: about me?
• 10:05
Speaker 3: I do it? Yeah, that's that's kind of the game
• 10:09
Speaker 3: of my travel agency business for the non traditional traveler,
• 10:13
Speaker 3: for someone who loves to take fourteen hours to get
• 10:15
Speaker 3: across the country. So it did work once, and so
• 10:20
Speaker 3: I thought, well, I'll keep trying this, and literally every
• 10:23
Speaker 3: other time there was a delay or I missed a flight. Okay,
• 10:26
Speaker 3: and there was one time when I flew from New
• 10:29
Speaker 3: York to LA that truly took thirteen hours because it
• 10:32
Speaker 3: was a to stop flight.
• 10:34
Speaker 4: Oh that's where I trave a line to any kind
• 10:37
Speaker 4: of destination. Sorry, now two stops.
• 10:41
Speaker 3: Where are you going? You have to be going to space.
• 10:45
Speaker 3: There aren't even stops on the way to space. No
• 10:49
Speaker 3: to be going from New York to LA and taking two.
• 10:52
Speaker 3: Where were they Detroit and Salt Lake City? Okay? I Detroit,
• 10:57
Speaker 3: I'm okay with beautiful water feature.
• 10:59
Speaker 4: Yes, scrgeous fountain. It's the Trevy Fountain in the United States.
• 11:03
Speaker 4: This Salt Lake I I am questioning because I think
• 11:09
Speaker 4: Salt Lake can it's it has to be the final destination.
• 11:13
Speaker 3: You have to die there.
• 11:14
Speaker 4: You can't travel through there. No, because there you can
• 11:16
Speaker 4: get a giro there.
• 11:18
Speaker 3: I know euro yuo.
• 11:21
  Speaker 2: Wait.
• 11:21
Speaker 4: I listened to a year episode with Katya was.
• 11:24
Speaker 3: It You're you might have talked about euros. Yeah, yeah,
• 11:27
  Speaker 3: it's a euro uero.
• 11:28
Speaker 4: I mean like the form of currency, like sort of.
• 11:31
  Speaker 3: I think that's more of a euro because you're speaking
• 11:35
Speaker 3: of euro and now I'm speaking euro a euro. It's
• 11:38
Speaker 3: more of a what is that a it's like an
• 11:40
Speaker 3: ee rather than a You.
• 11:41
Speaker 4: Well, you would know you travel a bit more, you
• 11:43
Speaker 4: make a more few stops and a few different places.
• 11:46
Speaker 3: Than I do over the place.
• 11:47
Speaker 4: Yeah, I haven't really picked up the dialect of the
• 11:50
  Speaker 4: Midwest quite yet.
• 11:51
Speaker 3: No, I'm from Salt Lake City. You are, Yeah, And
• 11:54
Speaker 3: there's a large Greek population there, and as far as
• 11:57
Speaker 3: I know, and again I don't know it.
• 12:00
Speaker 4: I'm taking everything you say as the law.
• 12:03
Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's zero. A lot of people say giro.
• 12:07
  Speaker 4: That's a form of exercise.
• 12:09
Speaker 3: I think exercise. Hell, isn't there like a gyrocopter? Giro?
• 12:14
Speaker 4: It's definitely not giro.
• 12:16
Speaker 3: Thank you. I appreciate you act like you know when
• 12:18
Speaker 3: people say gift and jiff, yes, saying gif oh, absolutely
• 12:22
  Speaker 3: soft g you mean it's a hard g giff Yes,
• 12:27
Speaker 3: but said softly, that's what I meant. I'm sorry I misspoke,
• 12:30
Speaker 3: but just really real quiet yes, yes, yes, So it's
• 12:34
  Speaker 3: actually zero like a z h ee. Okay, well that's
• 12:37
Speaker 3: too far. You know, we're in America. We're trying our best.
• 12:42
Speaker 3: We're talking. We're not saying yeah, we're talking here, so rude.
• 12:47
Speaker 4: She's really hoping that sickness kind of comes back.
• 12:51
Speaker 3: I'm yeah, you you really are. I can feel that. Listener,
• 12:54
Speaker 3: This is a taste of the know it all behavior
• 12:56
Speaker 3: you'll get from Honaly's if they take over the podcast.
• 12:59
Speaker 3: So just be aware of that.
• 13:01
Speaker 4: But I do appreciate what they're doing because they're being
• 13:05
Speaker 4: very smart. Just kind of if you kind of covering instead,
• 13:08
Speaker 4: which could happen at any minute.
• 13:11
Speaker 3: I could end up in Salt Lake Dead right, final
• 13:13
  Speaker 3: destination the dream.
• 13:14
Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly, that's That's the only thing left to say
• 13:19
Speaker 4: about this is exactly I did. The last time I
• 13:22
Speaker 4: went to Salt Lake City, I did get in a
• 13:24
Speaker 4: fight with a Delta agent over what I was in
• 13:29
Speaker 4: the right. I'm going to start with that.
• 13:32
Speaker 3: I'm already on the agent side. Okay, Well, so was
• 13:35
Speaker 3: kind of every other agent there.
• 13:37
Speaker 4: I was flying and as you would do from kind
• 13:42
Speaker 4: of the airport, I was on the on the plane
• 13:45
Speaker 4: and we didn't take off for like two and a
• 13:47
Speaker 4: half hours, just on the tarmac.
• 13:48
Speaker 3: We were on the plane already.
• 13:50
Speaker 4: Oh no, okay, So then they called us off and
• 13:54
Speaker 4: by the time everybody had gotten off, it had been
• 13:56
Speaker 4: like three hours. And I was traveling with a friend.
• 13:58
Speaker 4: I said, watch this. I was like that travel girl
• 14:01
Speaker 4: from Instagram who was like, when you don't know the
• 14:02
Speaker 4: roles and she goes but you don't know the drawls,
• 14:04
Speaker 4: Wat's this? And so I went up to the gate
• 14:07
Speaker 4: and I was like, I was just on the plane
• 14:09
Speaker 4: for three hours. Can I have twenty five dollars for
• 14:12
  Speaker 4: shake shock?
• 14:13
  Speaker 3: For shakeshock.
• 14:14
Speaker 4: Of course, yes, because I know that twenty five dollars
• 14:17
Speaker 4: from Delta is kind of usable anywhere in the airport.
• 14:21
Speaker 4: And they said no, and I said, you got to
• 14:23
Speaker 4: be kidding me. I said, I actually said that. Usually
• 14:26
Speaker 4: I said that in my mind and I go okay,
• 14:28
Speaker 4: and I walk away. But I said it out loud,
• 14:29
Speaker 4: and I was getting whoa. I scared myself a bit,
• 14:32
Speaker 4: and I said, are you got to be kidding me?
• 14:33
Speaker 4: I was just on the flight for three hours. Well
• 14:35
Speaker 4: it wasn't really three hours technically. I said, oh, you
• 14:37
Speaker 4: got and I started speaking louder and I usually don't
• 14:41
Speaker 4: do this. It was I think the thin air.
• 14:43
Speaker 3: Well and being on a plane for three hours.
• 14:45
Speaker 4: Well then it gets worse because I walk away and
• 14:49
Speaker 4: within ten minutes I get a text message of here's
• 14:52
Speaker 4: twenty five dollars. Because I was on the plane.
• 14:55
Speaker 3: Twenty five is kind of the limit.
• 14:56
Speaker 4: It's sort of well, it's like the minimum for three hours,
• 14:58
Speaker 4: they'll give you twenty five dollars.
• 15:00
Speaker 3: Shut you up with this a.
• 15:00
Speaker 4: Little bit of McDonald's, which does work. It does work.
• 15:04
Speaker 3: How would work on me? For any suggestion I could
• 15:06
Speaker 3: be there for forty hours? You give me twenty five dollars,
• 15:09
Speaker 3: like I've won the lottery.
• 15:10
Speaker 4: Oh yeah, and then you don't even think about it
• 15:13
Speaker 4: when you spend over twenty five dollars because you're like,
• 15:15
Speaker 4: it's still free of course, even if you sheck loves this,
• 15:19
  Speaker 4: it's yeah, they're monopolizing it.
• 15:20
Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, to get twenty five dollars, that's amazing. And
• 15:25
Speaker 3: but how do they give it to give it to you?
• 15:27
Speaker 3: Was it like did you go back to the thing
• 15:28
Speaker 3: and they had a big gold gift certificate?
• 15:30
Speaker 4: Oh, I wish it was. It's like a bar code
• 15:34
Speaker 4: that they'll scale now it makes sense. So if everybody
• 15:37
Speaker 4: is owned by the same sort of corporate conglomerate, right,
• 15:41
  Speaker 4: that bar code.
• 15:42
Speaker 3: Is, it's a universal currency. Basically. Again, you could take
• 15:46
  Speaker 3: it to space.
• 15:47
Speaker 4: Which I never want to go there.
• 15:49
Speaker 3: I have no interest in going to space. I think
• 15:51
Speaker 3: we should shut down all space programs. Me too.
• 15:55
Speaker 4: We leave it alone. We tried, who cares.
• 15:58
Speaker 3: None of us will ever get to enjoy in an
• 16:00
Speaker 3: alien Let's just let I mean, let's take one hundred
• 16:03
Speaker 3: years off. I think that's great. Let's put the money elsewhere.
• 16:07
Speaker 3: I'm sorry astronauts, I'm sorry space community. That's screaming right now,
• 16:11
Speaker 3: we'll get it. I think we should try.
• 16:13
Speaker 4: Build a tower instead of doing like the rocket, Like,
• 16:17
Speaker 4: let's start with the tower first.
• 16:19
  Speaker 3: Isn't there a Bible story about that? I think it's
• 16:23
Speaker 3: the Tower of Babble. They tried to build a tower
• 16:25
  Speaker 3: to God.
• 16:26
Speaker 4: Well, just think of how much we've come since then.
• 16:28
Speaker 4: We probably have more technology.
• 16:30
Speaker 3: They took the time off, so we can try it.
• 16:32
Speaker 4: Again exactly, and at least we have a blueprint for
• 16:34
Speaker 4: what didn't work, saying that.
• 16:38
Speaker 3: You're trying to get to God. This time, we tried
• 16:39
  Speaker 3: to get to.
• 16:40
Speaker 4: Space exactly, because we know God is a bit further
• 16:42
Speaker 4: from space, and he was actually much further from Earth.
• 16:45
Speaker 3: Very touchy about people trying to get to him. Yes,
• 16:48
  Speaker 3: but space.
• 16:48
Speaker 4: I think they'd get it because at one point we'd
• 16:51
Speaker 4: get so high that like the gravity woulden, it would
• 16:54
Speaker 4: pull us up. So it's like, help the building stay erect.
• 16:59
Speaker 3: Hand in hand of space exactly.
• 17:01
Speaker 4: It's two complete different entities working together.
• 17:04
Speaker 3: I love this. I love joining like a collab.
• 17:08
Speaker 4: If they love a collab, you might not know this.
• 17:10
Speaker 4: It's I'm collabing with the travel girl next. Do you
• 17:14
Speaker 4: know who I'm talking about? Oh, my god, it's so
• 17:18
  Speaker 4: worth your while.
• 17:19
Speaker 3: Does she have actual useful I mean she had this
• 17:20
Speaker 3: piece of absolutely what other things of your learning? Oh?
• 17:23
Speaker 4: Because she once taught me. And I am paraphrasing, and
• 17:28
Speaker 4: you'll learn that as soon as I explain it that
• 17:31
Speaker 4: if you lose your luggage that somehow the airline has
• 17:34
Speaker 4: to pay you a certain amount of money and that
• 17:36
Speaker 4: you have to you can tell them that it's all
• 17:38
Speaker 4: in their by laws. Oh my, that they'll be like, no,
• 17:41
Speaker 4: I'm sorry, there's nothing you can do but within the
• 17:43
Speaker 4: airline by laws and some of the travel restrictions. It's
• 17:47
Speaker 4: like in the guidelines that they have to do this.
• 17:50
Speaker 4: They're just saying no.
• 17:52
Speaker 3: And how much how much money is? Do you know?
• 17:54
  Speaker 3: I don't know.
• 17:54
Speaker 4: It's either like ten dollars or ten thousand dollars exactly.
• 18:00
Speaker 3: It could mean anything, you know. And I just learned
• 18:05
Speaker 3: on an airplane. And I'm sorry to musicians everywhere. This
• 18:08
Speaker 3: is the most annoying thing I've ever experienced. You can
• 18:11
Speaker 3: take a guitar as your personal item and put it
• 18:13
  Speaker 3: in the stowaway.
• 18:14
Speaker 4: Have you never seen that? You've never traveled an artist before?
• 18:18
Speaker 3: Well, I was in a band for a few decades.
• 18:21
Speaker 3: But this was before they let us take the guitars on.
• 18:24
Speaker 3: It was a more luxurious time. It takes so much space.
• 18:29
Speaker 4: Oh yeah, a guitar is not the size of a Samsonite.
• 18:32
Speaker 3: It is certainly not. I had to take my carry
• 18:35
Speaker 3: on luggage. I was in row nine. My carry on
• 18:38
Speaker 3: ended up in row twenty four.
• 18:40
Speaker 4: I don't really kind of play by that role. I
• 18:43
Speaker 4: don't really do that. What do you mean, well, I
• 18:46
Speaker 4: think at some point you kind of had to take
• 18:48
Speaker 4: a stand for yourself.
• 18:50
Speaker 3: I tried. I tried pushing the guitar.
• 18:51
Speaker 4: I think at that point it's like if you're bringing
• 18:53
Speaker 4: the guitar and you got to play it, sorry, like
• 18:56
Speaker 4: if it's gonna take up that much room, get in
• 18:58
Speaker 4: the aisle and like put out the hat.
• 18:59
  Speaker 3: Let's hear us.
• 19:00
Speaker 4: Yeah, if it's that important to you, I understand you
• 19:03
Speaker 4: don't want it to get banged around, but come on,
• 19:06
  Speaker 4: you got it.
• 19:07
Speaker 3: You got at least sing a song, hold it in
• 19:09
Speaker 3: your lap, give me a under the seat. It's essentially
• 19:12
Speaker 3: a child, it is.
• 19:13
Speaker 4: That is an insane thing that you can't bring on
• 19:16
Speaker 4: a pair of skis why the guitar.
• 19:18
Speaker 3: The guitar is very long, fragile. I mean, and again
• 19:23
  Speaker 3: it's I know it's hard to be a musician, but
• 19:25
Speaker 3: you should have to show that you you have published music.
• 19:28
Speaker 4: And I don't say that's too easy to publish me.
• 19:31
Speaker 3: And that's true, published music and made more than forty dollars.
• 19:34
Speaker 3: Oh there you go. Or show that you've sold out
• 19:37
Speaker 3: a venue you're competed to a sold out venue. Yes,
• 19:40
Speaker 3: I think that's there's got to be something stopping anyone
• 19:43
Speaker 3: from taking a guitar well, or I'm going to start
• 19:46
Speaker 3: packing my clothes in a guitar.
• 19:48
Speaker 4: So how did the luggage get so far back?
• 19:51
Speaker 3: Because every other well, as I said at the beginning
• 19:53
Speaker 3: of this, I was unfortunately in group F so by
• 19:57
Speaker 3: the time I was playing go, literally, they were all
• 20:00
Speaker 3: taken up, and the mean flight attendant was like, well
• 20:03
Speaker 3: you can take it to twenty four US rattled off quick.
• 20:09
Speaker 3: You know, they were just reveling. They eyed you up
• 20:11
Speaker 3: and they went, he's not worth it. You can travel back.
• 20:15
Speaker 3: And the rest of the time I was on the plane,
• 20:16
Speaker 3: I'm thinking, how am I going to get back there
• 20:19
Speaker 3: before everybody stands up? Because if everybody stands up, I
• 20:23
Speaker 3: have to wait for the entire night to wait. That's
• 20:26
Speaker 3: the rule. So I literally, upon landing, I'm unbuckling. I
• 20:30
Speaker 3: am running, pushing my way to the back like I
• 20:32
Speaker 3: like I had lost a baby.
• 20:34
Speaker 4: Yeah, but it was all I could do, all the guitar,
• 20:37
Speaker 4: cross going to the back, running, sprinting.
• 20:42
Speaker 3: Wow, yeah, it was a guitar.
• 20:45
Speaker 4: So I don't like, I am willing to sit and
• 20:50
Speaker 4: wait because I cannot deal with the cattle.
• 20:54
Speaker 3: Oh, the cattle and the social humiliation. I'd rather just sit.
• 20:58
Speaker 3: You didn't want to do that, though I had been
• 21:00
Speaker 3: on the plane already so long.
• 21:01
Speaker 4: Well, how many flights were you in already?
• 21:05
Speaker 3: Shuck? Oh, let's see. Actually, so I guess this is
• 21:08
Speaker 3: because I had a stop. Where did I stop? Like city? No,
• 21:14
Speaker 3: this was from JFK to lax as far unless i've
• 21:17
Speaker 3: it was in a fugue state. So it was a
• 21:19
Speaker 3: direct flight. Okay from Burbank. No, unfortunately into La I
• 21:24
  Speaker 3: switched killmate.
• 21:25
Speaker 4: I've never flown out of Burbank in my life.
• 21:29
Speaker 3: Oh, it's such a pleasure. I've picked up people from Burbank.
• 21:32
Speaker 3: Of course you have, because it's a normal. It's like
• 21:34
Speaker 3: going back in time. You can actually access it totally.
• 21:37
Speaker 3: You can't pick somebody up from last in America was great.
• 21:40
Speaker 3: It's again, it's what we're trying to get back to. Yeah,
• 21:43
Speaker 3: Burbank Airport. Honestly, if we could make America the Burbank Airport,
• 21:47
Speaker 3: I would support any candidate who could do that. It's
• 21:50
Speaker 3: not whatever we've got in the future. But when I run,
• 21:54
Speaker 3: if I haven't disqualified myself, I saying something on this podcast,
• 21:57
  Speaker 3: which I'm sure I have.
• 21:58
Speaker 4: I'm sure you have.
• 22:00
Speaker 3: Have you seen him Day's qualified people?
• 22:02
Speaker 4: Now, yeah, I'm sure talking badly about the Salt Lake
• 22:07
Speaker 4: City Airport isn't really going to do you in. If
• 22:09
Speaker 4: Matt Gates is almost the Attorney General, I think you'll
• 22:12
Speaker 4: be kind of okay at this point.
• 22:14
Speaker 3: You make a very very good point, thank you. But
• 22:18
Speaker 3: Burbank is a pleasure. Lax is hell on Earth. They
• 22:21
Speaker 3: have that whole situation where we have to get on
• 22:23
Speaker 3: the shuttle to go to the ride share thing, the
• 22:27
Speaker 3: Lyft ride, and we can stop talking about We'll stop
• 22:30
Speaker 3: talking about airports after this. But I do want to
• 22:31
Speaker 3: complain about Lyft because I got in a Lyft ride
• 22:35
Speaker 3: that I took no less the driver took no less
• 22:38
Speaker 3: than two hundred turns to get me home. He took
• 22:42
Speaker 3: air or freeways off right before I got in. I
• 22:45
Speaker 3: was like, why, that's why the freeways are there.
• 22:47
Speaker 4: I don't understand, like even a horse and buggy is there,
• 22:51
  Speaker 4: like a reason?
• 22:52
Speaker 3: This person thought he had a reason. I looked at
• 22:55
Speaker 3: Google Maps before I got into thing, being like, how
• 22:57
Speaker 3: long will this take? It said an hour and twenty minutes.
• 22:58
Speaker 3: It's like that's a very long time, but life is life.
• 23:01
Speaker 3: Hour and twenty minutes.
• 23:03
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 23:03
Speaker 3: From alex to Highland Park it was busy.
• 23:05
Speaker 4: Okay. Usually that's how you're defending them.
• 23:07
Speaker 3: No, I'm not. I'm about to burn this person to
• 23:10
Speaker 3: the ground because about ten minutes in he said, in
• 23:12
Speaker 3: a few minutes, we're going to go through a parking lot.
• 23:17
  Speaker 3: And I don't want you to worry, but there's a
• 23:18
Speaker 3: method to my madness. This is the worst thing you
• 23:20
Speaker 3: can absolutely hear. Absolutely that's it.
• 23:23
Speaker 4: At that point, I go, all right, put your hands up,
• 23:24
Speaker 4: I pull out a gun, and I go, you get
• 23:27
Speaker 4: in the passenger seat, Bacco, and we're taking my way.
• 23:30
Speaker 3: We get right on to the fucking one ten turn back.
• 23:35
Speaker 4: We go back, and I go, you're going to do
• 23:37
Speaker 4: this over you love motherfucker. Turn around and get back
• 23:41
Speaker 4: to terminal three and let's do this right.
• 23:43
Speaker 3: Nope, we went through not one parking lot, but two
• 23:46
Speaker 3: parking lots, a strip mall and a Ralph's parking lot.
• 23:50
Speaker 3: And you know, I thought, well, this is this isn't traditional,
• 23:52
Speaker 3: so and you know I'm a non traditional travel I
• 23:54
Speaker 3: thought maybe this will work. We took surface streets the
• 23:57
Speaker 3: entire time, going through neighborhoods from LA to Highland Park,
• 24:00
Speaker 3: which is not a short distance. It took a solid
• 24:04
Speaker 3: two hours to get home. He was fighting with other drivers.
• 24:07
Speaker 3: At one point he had a confrontation with another driver.
• 24:10
Speaker 3: I contacted Lyft after this, Yes, and they essentially just said,
• 24:13
Speaker 3: sorry that happened to you. I hate this company so much.
• 24:19
Speaker 4: You know, for a while I wasn't allowed to use Uber?
• 24:22
  Speaker 4: Why ask them?
• 24:24
  Speaker 3: I never wouldn't.
• 24:26
Speaker 4: Yes, I wasn't allowed. Something happened where they felt kind
• 24:31
Speaker 4: of like it was in their best interest that I
• 24:34
Speaker 4: wouldn't the entire corporation.
• 24:36
Speaker 3: Yes, And I don't know why.
• 24:37
  Speaker 4: I don't like I remember one time, yeah, I did
• 24:40
Speaker 4: kind of get in an Uber that was for are
• 24:42
Speaker 4: you a Kelly? And I said, yeah, I just but
• 24:45
Speaker 4: how would they know that I wasn't Kelly unless Kelly complained.
• 24:49
Speaker 4: But how would Kelly know that I was in hers right?
• 24:51
Speaker 3: And maybe you're a Kelly at heart. Maybe my mom's
• 24:54
Speaker 3: name is Kelly. Well, there you go. You're Kelly junior,
• 24:56
Speaker 3: exactly Kelly the second.
• 24:57
Speaker 4: So I'm just like, I don't know. That couldn't be it, though,
• 25:00
Speaker 4: but it kind of that feels is probably right, It
• 25:03
Speaker 4: does feel exactly it.
• 25:05
Speaker 3: Actually, the other Kelly probably ended up did.
• 25:08
Speaker 4: Who cares well, They probably ended up writing for Lyft.
• 25:13
Speaker 3: They probably drove you back time the bar Kelly. Uh, well,
• 25:19
Speaker 3: you know I've complained. Who knows what will happen to
• 25:20
Speaker 3: Kelly now that I've complained? Oh, probably nothing at all. Promotion. Yes,
• 25:25
Speaker 3: she's now running Lyft. Yeah she's bringing the mustaches on
• 25:28
Speaker 3: the front of the cars. But she's running Lyft through
• 25:30
  Speaker 3: a Ralph's parking lot. That's insane. I couldn't believe what
• 25:34
Speaker 3: I was hearing. Wow, And I gave them the benefit
• 25:36
Speaker 3: of the doubt. I thought, maybe this is an amazing
• 25:39
Speaker 3: trick and I'll be home in thirty minutes. Yeah.
• 25:41
Speaker 4: Now that's when you need to give them the doubt,
• 25:43
Speaker 4: because I don't think they deserve benefit at this point
• 25:47
Speaker 4: it people will do wild things.
• 25:50
Speaker 3: I mean I think they really believed in themselves, and uh,
• 25:54
Speaker 3: people have to that's a problem. You have to gotta
• 25:56
Speaker 3: stop it. You know, very few people should believe in
• 25:59
Speaker 3: them so very maybe one in fifty.
• 26:02
Speaker 4: I think there's just some people should like lift people
• 26:04
Speaker 4: up and nobody should believe it.
• 26:06
Speaker 3: That's a good idea. We should believe in others, but
• 26:07
Speaker 3: not in ourselves. Yes, let the community do the work
• 26:11
Speaker 3: for you, otherwise you're taking two hours in a lift. Yeah.
• 26:15
Speaker 4: No, I'm really sorry that happened to you.
• 26:17
Speaker 3: Thank you so much. I just needed two sorries, one
• 26:19
Speaker 3: from Lyft and one from you, and now I can
• 26:21
Speaker 3: move on with my life and now I can start
• 26:23
Speaker 3: using Lyft again. I was basically abused by this company.
• 26:27
Speaker 3: Oh well, there's something else we've got to talk about,
• 26:30
Speaker 3: which is totally inappropriate.
• 26:32
  Speaker 1: Hmm.
• 26:32
Speaker 3: I was really excited to have you here on the
• 26:34
Speaker 3: podcast today, of course I was. I thought, Adam will come,
• 26:37
  Speaker 3: we'll have a pleasant conversation, I'll unload a bunch of
• 26:41
Speaker 3: baggage about travel on him, and then we'll move on
• 26:44
Speaker 3: with our day. So it was a little what is
• 26:47
Speaker 3: the word, I was a little floored when you walked
• 26:52
Speaker 3: into the studio holding what I can only describe as
• 26:57
Speaker 3: I mean, the podcast is called I said no gifts.
• 26:58
Speaker 3: Let's be very clear. I'm pretty sure you're aware of that.
• 27:01
Speaker 3: I am. This is not WTF, this is not the Daily.
• 27:06
Speaker 3: It's I said no gifts and you were holding what's
• 27:08
Speaker 3: obviously a gift. Yeah. Well, I'm not really one to.
• 27:12
Speaker 4: Follow rules, and I do like the names of the
• 27:16
Speaker 4: episodes where it's somebody disobeys, and I felt like, why
• 27:19
Speaker 4: would I pass up a chance to kind of do that,
• 27:22
  Speaker 4: to not obey?
• 27:24
Speaker 3: Right, So you're kind of the travel girl of this
• 27:26
Speaker 3: particular podcast exactly you might not know. Yeah, I'm like practicing. Yeah,
• 27:31
Speaker 3: this is all just a dry run for your TikTok.
• 27:36
Speaker 4: I keep playing this girl. And I know, for like
• 27:39
Speaker 4: the one person that will listen to this who who
• 27:42
Speaker 4: knows what I'm talking about.
• 27:43
Speaker 3: They're howling, they on her. She's mad, she's contacting our
• 27:50
Speaker 3: booker Patrick right now. I want to be on the show.
• 27:54
Speaker 4: But yes, I did. I did bring kind of something that.
• 28:00
Speaker 3: It was what you said? Yeah, well should I open
• 28:03
Speaker 3: it here on the podcast? I think you should.
• 28:08
Speaker 4: So this is the first here I think.
• 28:10
Speaker 3: This is gorgeous. I mean, okay, you're handing me in
• 28:13
  Speaker 3: an envelope.
• 28:13
  Speaker 4: Yes, it's a court summons. It's actually I'm assuming you.
• 28:18
Speaker 3: How I didn't. Sorry, that is such a good idea
• 28:21
Speaker 3: for somebody. I need to get in some sort of
• 28:23
Speaker 3: trouble with somebody legally, and so I can.
• 28:25
Speaker 4: Yeah, get I'm like, you're like Olivia Wilde right now,
• 28:28
Speaker 4: and I'm going, oh, sorry, these are the papers.
• 28:29
Speaker 3: To get served on my own podcast. It's amazing. Is
• 28:33
Speaker 3: this your handwriting? That is my handwriting? Do you think
• 28:36
Speaker 3: I kind of hired out? You've hired somebody on Fiver
• 28:39
Speaker 3: to write this story? Yes? Uh, this is really Where
• 28:43
Speaker 3: did you learn to write like this?
• 28:44
Speaker 4: At our Lady of Peace School?
• 28:47
Speaker 3: What grade? Second? Second grade? Yes?
• 28:49
Speaker 4: I learned because we had I had a nun still okay,
• 28:52
Speaker 4: well that's why we still had religion in schools.
• 28:55
Speaker 3: And again we're trying to get back to that. And
• 28:56
Speaker 3: I think, as weekly as possible, really good. I think
• 28:59
Speaker 3: it's going to be really good. Hey, don't laugh, you
• 29:02
Speaker 3: should cry. I think it's going to be really good
• 29:04
Speaker 3: for all of us. And yes, so shout out to
• 29:07
Speaker 3: sister and she's dad, but she was the last nun
• 29:12
  Speaker 3: to work.
• 29:13
Speaker 4: At that school who didn't hit the kids with rulers.
• 29:17
Speaker 3: Wow, and is that why she died?
• 29:19
Speaker 4: Well, that's why most of the kids in my class
• 29:20
Speaker 4: couldn't write. Well, okay, because the hitting work.
• 29:24
Speaker 3: Hitting works. Yeah, let's get back to it. We're hitting
• 29:27
  Speaker 3: in school, Yes, I think so. I mean, I didn't
• 29:30
Speaker 3: take cursive until fifth grade and Utah Public schools, and
• 29:33
Speaker 3: my cursive is gone.
• 29:35
Speaker 4: Really, I only write in cursive, really, And I get
• 29:39
Speaker 4: two different kinds of reactions to Obviously, I'm doing it
• 29:41
Speaker 4: all the time that I get all these reactions to it.
• 29:45
Speaker 4: But when people see my handwriting, one they go, oh
• 29:48
Speaker 4: my god, that's so beautiful. And two they think I'm
• 29:50
Speaker 4: putting on like some sort of like vaudeville show of
• 29:52
Speaker 4: like I'm trying to just like, oh, you don't really write. Yeah, no,
• 29:56
Speaker 4: I'm like, no, I do write like that. And now
• 29:58
Speaker 4: show me how you hold a pencil. Have you seen
• 30:00
Speaker 4: the way people hold pencils now like Neanderthals.
• 30:03
Speaker 3: Like this, Oh no, like a microphone.
• 30:06
Speaker 4: Yeah, you're supposed to just really hold it lightly between
• 30:08
Speaker 4: the index and the thumb.
• 30:10
Speaker 3: I was taught incorrectly, or I learned incorrectly, and I
• 30:13
Speaker 3: would hold it on this finger and like as a kid,
• 30:15
Speaker 3: had a huge callous on my finger. God, I know
• 30:20
Speaker 3: if youewer can't I mean, the listener can't hear you.
• 30:23
Speaker 4: I actually kind of need to see what you're doing
• 30:26
Speaker 4: because I have a pen in here.
• 30:27
Speaker 3: I just want to see how you're holding it. Yeah,
• 30:29
Speaker 3: it's it's not right, okay, I mean like my mom
• 30:32
Speaker 3: took me to a doctor once like this. Oh that
• 30:35
  Speaker 3: doesn't look right.
• 30:36
  Speaker 2: Right.
• 30:36
Speaker 4: No, Now take the pen out and hold your hands
• 30:38
Speaker 4: like that. Does that look like a normal hold it
• 30:42
Speaker 4: like you holding? Oh that's so good, so delicate. It's
• 30:46
Speaker 4: sort of like how they signed it, like the declaration.
• 30:49
Speaker 3: I think maybe because my mom's left handed, that's why
• 30:51
  Speaker 3: I learned incorrect. I don't think. So let's try to
• 30:54
  Speaker 3: blame my mom.
• 30:54
Speaker 4: Okay, I'm sure we'll find something to blame my mom for.
• 30:59
Speaker 3: Yeah, storm avention. Okay, Well, let me open this envelope here.
• 31:04
Speaker 3: Let's see. Oh I love that sound. Oh that's beautiful,
• 31:09
Speaker 3: isn't it? Just? It's so nice to get. Oh, this
• 31:12
Speaker 3: is a nice little card. Hats off to you, little cowboy,
• 31:16
Speaker 3: my dearest Bridger. I'm not really one for following rules.
• 31:19
Speaker 3: I wouldn't dare come empty handed. You're handwriting is gorgeous.
• 31:22
Speaker 3: Thank you for having me, and feel free to share
• 31:27
Speaker 3: what's happening this fact love Adam Rippon. This is such
• 31:29
Speaker 3: a beautiful card. I love this. Okay, so you're kind
• 31:32
Speaker 3: kind of sweetening up to the idea of a gift.
• 31:34
Speaker 3: I see, I'm really warming off. And now it's in
• 31:38
Speaker 3: this gorgeous mushroom bag, which I adore. I mean, wow,
• 31:43
Speaker 3: you've really gone all out.
• 31:44
Speaker 4: Well, I mean I just wouldn't show up with something ugly.
• 31:48
Speaker 3: I mean because I would have spread the word as
• 31:50
Speaker 3: quickly as possible. Well, you know, here's the thing.
• 31:52
Speaker 4: If you just put a little effort into giving somebody
• 31:55
Speaker 4: kind of some shit, which is I mean, get ready,
• 31:58
Speaker 4: they don't get too excite you did it.
• 32:02
Speaker 3: They'll remember like, oh, it looked so nice.
• 32:04
Speaker 4: I wasn't gonna roll in here with the Ralph's bag
• 32:07
Speaker 4: filled with like what.
• 32:10
Speaker 3: That's a typical guest on this podcast. Well, these people
• 32:12
Speaker 3: are trash. It's listen, you've really uped the bar here. Yeah. Well,
• 32:16
Speaker 3: we'll send this episode out as an example for future guests, right,
• 32:19
  Speaker 3: if you please.
• 32:20
Speaker 4: Listen, Getting a gift. Please follow these guidelines.
• 32:23
Speaker 3: Your photos and now that I'm thinking about it, writing, uh,
• 32:27
Speaker 3: feel free to share it a card and then if
• 32:29
Speaker 3: this was just full of money, that would be a
• 32:30
Speaker 3: very good idea. I'm going to try that for a gift.
• 32:32
Speaker 3: Actually give me that back, let me fit something. Feel
• 32:35
Speaker 3: free to share. Okay, let's oh, we haven't had some
• 32:39
Speaker 3: nice tissue in this podcast on a little you know,
• 32:40
  Speaker 3: I know.
• 32:41
Speaker 4: Some people think that that's wasteful.
• 32:44
  Speaker 3: I don't think so.
• 32:45
Speaker 4: I think kind of what I mean, what's being wasted here?
• 32:47
Speaker 4: Oh my god, can we just give me a fucking break.
• 32:51
Speaker 4: We need to wake them.
• 32:52
Speaker 3: People are coming after you all the time for your tissue.
• 32:55
  Speaker 3: You see.
• 32:56
Speaker 4: I mean, I'll be honest, there is a kind of
• 32:58
Speaker 4: there is an abundant.
• 33:00
Speaker 3: This was the whole bag of tissue.
• 33:01
Speaker 4: It was because there's eight sheets in a little pack.
• 33:04
Speaker 3: Well, let's use it. Let's not waste I'm going to
• 33:06
Speaker 3: use every one of these hold out.
• 33:08
Speaker 4: Yes, Oh it sounds so good on that.
• 33:10
  Speaker 3: I know that's so crispy. Let's make sure. Let's say,
• 33:13
  Speaker 3: oh there's more.
• 33:15
Speaker 4: No, yeah, there's all eight sheets are in there?
• 33:17
Speaker 3: Now are the multiple things in here? Yes? Okay, should
• 33:19
Speaker 3: I take them that in any order? No?
• 33:21
Speaker 4: Okay, okay, so we'll take this to choose your own adventure.
• 33:24
Speaker 3: I'm very excited. Okay, So what under eye patches? Fantastic?
• 33:32
Speaker 3: Yes to twenty four k gold under eye patches.
• 33:35
Speaker 4: I think they use that term loosely.
• 33:37
Speaker 3: Yes, I mean this simply doesn't apply to them.
• 33:39
Speaker 4: No, I think they've got twenty four care golds. And
• 33:42
Speaker 4: it's also like in Korean, and I think they're just
• 33:44
Speaker 4: like they won't understand the difference.
• 33:46
Speaker 3: Okay, should we talk about this or should I open
• 33:49
Speaker 3: what else is in?
• 33:49
  Speaker 2: It?
• 33:49
Speaker 3: All goes, it's all come together. Okay, So we'll bring
• 33:52
Speaker 3: everything out and then we'll get into it, and so
• 33:54
Speaker 3: we'll get to continue doing tissue.
• 33:56
Speaker 4: Just a few more sheets.
• 33:59
Speaker 3: I hope everyone's keeping count at home. Okay, there's one four.
• 34:07
Speaker 3: I'm not even looking. I've now just that's smart. Yeah,
• 34:12
Speaker 3: this much. Then we'll go for the rest of the.
• 34:15
Speaker 4: Yeah, I get it even closer to the mic I
• 34:17
  Speaker 4: met him.
• 34:20
Speaker 3: Okay, I think that's the end of the Oh no, no, no, no, no, no. See,
• 34:25
Speaker 3: and this is why we we're not wasteful. No, this
• 34:29
Speaker 3: ultimately we uh, we are very in control of our
• 34:32
  Speaker 3: carbon footpall.
• 34:33
Speaker 4: Is it wasteful if you used it as a prop?
• 34:36
Speaker 3: No? And if millions enjoyed it, oh my.
• 34:39
Speaker 4: God, which I know they did, every single eye might
• 34:43
Speaker 4: not know this. I'm like so committed to that. I've
• 34:46
Speaker 4: never talked about her in my life before. I'm so
• 34:48
  Speaker 4: sorry I'm having.
• 34:49
Speaker 3: You've got a team up. Oh, I hope so to
• 34:52
Speaker 3: team up? I think I take you on a trip
• 34:54
Speaker 3: that's a hell. It'll be the worst possible vacation. Okay,
• 34:58
Speaker 3: let me bring out what else is happening here.
• 35:00
Speaker 4: Okay, I hope there's no more paper because that now
• 35:02
Speaker 4: it does feel cumbersome.
• 35:04
Speaker 3: Okay, No, I've got Oh.
• 35:06
Speaker 4: When you've kind of lay it all on the table
• 35:08
Speaker 4: like that, it does look like a bunch of shit,
• 35:11
Speaker 4: but please, please please explain it.
• 35:13
Speaker 3: Okay. So then we've got some some collagen essence masks
• 35:18
Speaker 3: which are bamboo from Dermal. Are these are all? Is
• 35:21
Speaker 3: it all the Dermal brand? I don't think so.
• 35:23
Speaker 4: No, I think I kind of went across a genre.
• 35:25
Speaker 3: This is from the Dermal family. It's a wine collagen
• 35:28
Speaker 3: essence mask which feels like an absolute stain on a face. Okay.
• 35:33
Speaker 3: And then some I actually have no idea. Oh collagen, Oh,
• 35:36
Speaker 3: a lip mask that are in the shape of lips,
• 35:40
Speaker 3: like those candy wax lips, yes, which I've never eaten.
• 35:44
Speaker 3: I have you have? Oh? Yeah, what is that experience? Oh?
• 35:48
Speaker 4: I think it explains a lot of why I'm not
• 35:50
Speaker 4: well now. It's literally it's like eating a candle, which
• 35:55
Speaker 4: is not that bad if you're thinking about it, could
• 35:59
Speaker 4: do worse for things candy wax. I haven't thought about
• 36:01
Speaker 4: those in a while, but yeah, it is just it is.
• 36:03
Speaker 3: I don't think we should be eating them, right.
• 36:06
Speaker 4: I did whole thing, lick my lipslick my fingers. After
• 36:10
Speaker 4: it was like Thanksgiving dinner.
• 36:11
Speaker 3: Platesful, okay, the lips, and then finally some pineapple flavored
• 36:16
Speaker 3: pineapple twist, Yes, flavored, tried dent. So there's so much
• 36:20
Speaker 3: happening here, yeah, well, and not anything at all.
• 36:24
Speaker 4: So I have everything that you have on the table.
• 36:30
Speaker 3: I'm laying it all out here, kind of like cards.
• 36:32
Speaker 4: Yes, I think that's yeah, it looks like your cards.
• 36:36
Speaker 4: I have this in excess at home. So I grabbed
• 36:39
Speaker 4: kind of out of my stock pile because I thought,
• 36:44
Speaker 4: why wouldn't you just want to treat yourself like I
• 36:46
Speaker 4: treat me of course, and Trident gum is my favorite gum.
• 36:51
Speaker 3: Is flavor in particular. Absolutely.
• 36:54
Speaker 4: I think people really kind of say some nasty things
• 36:57
Speaker 4: about tri Dent really Trident, I mean too, but I
• 37:01
Speaker 4: kind of never have heard you say it. Probably yes,
• 37:04
Speaker 4: And I think a lot of people I've kind of
• 37:06
Speaker 4: stayed that direction with Trident. They're afraid to they they're
• 37:10
Speaker 4: more like the route of like a stick of gum.
• 37:13
Speaker 3: I've I have fully removed stick of gum from my life. Good.
• 37:16
Speaker 3: I'm actually I've now become a DENTI nice person.
• 37:19
Speaker 4: See this is what I mean people, Yeah, just hear
• 37:22
  Speaker 4: me out Trident.
• 37:25
Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, you will see no Trident because I
• 37:28
Speaker 3: carry a bag and anything that's not in the little
• 37:31
Speaker 3: and this is a wasteful product and it's a little
• 37:34
Speaker 3: plastic like I think they call it like a blister
• 37:36
Speaker 3: pack where you pop them out, uh huh. Anything that's
• 37:39
Speaker 3: not in one of those, the gum will find its
• 37:41
Speaker 3: way into my bag and then will be all over
• 37:43
Speaker 3: my wallet and keys. Oh no, I can't have that
• 37:46
Speaker 3: ever happened to me again again again, No no, no, no,
• 37:49
Speaker 3: That'll be the end of my life.
• 37:52
Speaker 4: Pat pack, is that like the bot like the bull
• 37:55
Speaker 4: like it's like a mug of gum.
• 37:57
Speaker 3: No, no, that would I simply will not buy either.
• 38:00
  Speaker 3: Who's buying that? I how's you're a truck driver?
• 38:03
Speaker 4: Well, unless it's the last drive you're gonna do and
• 38:06
Speaker 4: you need all two hundred pieces of orbit gun dirty mouth.
• 38:13
Speaker 3: Yeah, come on, yeah, that plastic thing. I don't know
• 38:15
Speaker 3: who's buying that. I think if you were doing long
• 38:18
Speaker 3: distance driving mm hmm, or you mend a ship or
• 38:22
Speaker 3: something something. But if you're a normal person, no, you
• 38:26
Speaker 3: can unwrap it individual and wrap it. Now. What I'm
• 38:29
Speaker 3: talking about is like it's a little like cardboard essentially
• 38:32
Speaker 3: the size, and then you push it out and there's
• 38:34
  Speaker 3: like a tinfoil and a plastic I think I've got
• 38:38
Speaker 3: some of my bag. I'm gonna show you, okay.
• 38:39
Speaker 4: I I am quite excited because I do believe that
• 38:43
Speaker 4: it's going to be absolutely worth the Oh that Oh no,
• 38:47
Speaker 4: you know what that looks like to me? Well, I
• 38:49
  Speaker 4: used to smoke.
• 38:50
Speaker 3: Oh not even It just looks like I had a
• 38:55
Speaker 3: cigarette outside and I now need to freshen my breath.
• 38:58
Speaker 4: That's what that looks like to me. Denteen Ice, Well,
• 39:02
Speaker 4: that gives you a nice sense of danger, does it?
• 39:05
Speaker 3: Adam has been smoking? This is what? And I know this.
• 39:10
Speaker 4: Because that was a really popular gum to chew after,
• 39:14
Speaker 4: Like in the area that I'm from, Pennsylvania. Famously, they'd
• 39:19
Speaker 4: have their nice little Marlborough red and then they'd need
• 39:22
Speaker 4: to get right back into the classroom or into the
• 39:26
Speaker 4: ice rink, and then they'd have one or two pieces
• 39:28
  Speaker 4: of ice.
• 39:29
Speaker 3: That makes sense, Yes, wow, Well, I mean I'm not stopping.
• 39:35
Speaker 4: And it didn't stop them either, and so I think,
• 39:39
Speaker 4: to hell with them.
• 39:40
Speaker 3: To help with them, I think, how long did you
• 39:42
  Speaker 3: smoke for? I?
• 39:45
Speaker 4: Well, okay, I smoked well while I was competing.
• 39:50
  Speaker 3: That's I just don't associate that with a professional athlete.
• 39:54
Speaker 4: I know you wouldn't, but you would associate it with
• 39:56
Speaker 4: somebody who was just so thin.
• 40:00
Speaker 3: I was so just while you were skating. Yes, who
• 40:07
Speaker 3: turned you onto it? Me?
• 40:09
  Speaker 2: What?
• 40:09
Speaker 4: Because I knew people who smoked with thin and I
• 40:14
  Speaker 4: was like, that's what I'm missing. And I wasn't wrong,
• 40:17
Speaker 4: which was the really scary part about it.
• 40:20
Speaker 3: But you were doing intense exercise.
• 40:22
Speaker 4: Right, which was sort of kind of counterbalancing. Everybody needs
• 40:26
  Speaker 4: a little advice.
• 40:27
Speaker 3: Smoking wasn't doing anything for you.
• 40:29
Speaker 4: It was keeping it was making me not eat dinner
• 40:32
Speaker 4: and lunch and sometimes.
• 40:37
Speaker 3: But you were eating your weight and dente and ice.
• 40:39
Speaker 4: Yes, and yogurt. Yogurt, okay, because there's calcium in that for.
• 40:43
Speaker 3: So calcium and protein, great source of protein. Now people
• 40:47
  Speaker 3: are drying it.
• 40:48
Speaker 4: Out, drying the yogurt.
• 40:50
Speaker 3: Have you seen this? No, it's a new trend. People
• 40:53
Speaker 3: are drawing out yogurt. I of course it's on TikTok okay,
• 40:57
Speaker 3: but they like leave it out over an id. I
• 40:59
Speaker 3: don't haven't looked into it that much because obviously I
• 41:01
Speaker 3: don't have any interest in drawing out my yogurt personally.
• 41:03
Speaker 4: Oh I okay. I scrolled past a video like this,
• 41:07
Speaker 4: Please tell me if I'm right. I saw a doll
• 41:10
Speaker 4: up of something go.
• 41:10
Speaker 3: Into a cheese claw.
• 41:12
Speaker 4: Yes, yes, and then they dry that out and then
• 41:15
  Speaker 4: they eat it.
• 41:16
  Speaker 3: Okay.
• 41:17
  Speaker 4: I'm gonna say a few things. I don't think we
• 41:22
Speaker 4: are going to make America healthy again. I actually don't,
• 41:25
Speaker 4: and I think we're kind of too far gone. Have
• 41:29
Speaker 4: you seen the videos of the of that one woman
• 41:33
Speaker 4: who goes, what I have right here is raw milk
• 41:37
Speaker 4: and it doesn't go bad and she unscrews the top,
• 41:39
Speaker 4: and all you hear is you see a little bit
• 41:41
Speaker 4: of like you know, the liquid of what I perceive
• 41:44
Speaker 4: as milk go in, and then you hear and then
• 41:49
Speaker 4: she goes, Oh, it gets better. She takes out one
• 41:53
Speaker 4: of those like you know from my key where you
• 41:55
Speaker 4: can get the milk frothers, but like the handheld one
• 41:57
Speaker 4: where like one double a battery goes in.
• 41:59
Speaker 3: She goes it actually never goes. Oh.
• 42:01
Speaker 4: And she puts that in and she frosts the milk
• 42:04
Speaker 4: to kind of break up its own the cards whatever.
• 42:07
Speaker 3: Ye, that's for me, huh.
• 42:09
Speaker 4: And then she kind of brings it, you know, she
• 42:11
Speaker 4: moves it kind of up and down to break up
• 42:13
  Speaker 4: all the chunks.
• 42:14
Speaker 3: And then she drinks the whole thing. Oh, I drink milk,
• 42:21
Speaker 3: I too well. Oh, I love to meet a fellow
• 42:24
  Speaker 3: milk strike.
• 42:25
Speaker 4: We're so rare now, Yeah, I'm sorry. Almonds don't have others.
• 42:29
Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, it's almond water. Yeah. And I cannot
• 42:33
Speaker 3: eat a cookie with.
• 42:34
Speaker 4: Unless I stole it from a child, a baby, its
• 42:38
  Speaker 4: own child's I don't want to.
• 42:40
Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, I need to have stolen from
• 42:43
Speaker 3: a baby. Yeah. And here's the thing.
• 42:46
Speaker 4: I know, milk is supposed to turn a baby cow
• 42:49
Speaker 4: into an eight hundred pound cow, and there's a part
• 42:53
Speaker 4: of me that wants that.
• 42:54
Speaker 3: I would love nothing more than to be half a
• 42:56
Speaker 3: ton exactly make I want to be a prize winning cow.
• 43:02
Speaker 4: Yes, take me to the fair, please please, I blue ribbon.
• 43:06
Speaker 4: I think you'd get the blue ribbon.
• 43:08
Speaker 3: I'm shooting for eight hundred pounds. No, the raw milk thing,
• 43:14
Speaker 3: I can't do that. I need it ultra.
• 43:17
Speaker 4: Pasturized me too, as it should.
• 43:19
Speaker 3: Be, because milk, like, there's such a fine line between
• 43:22
Speaker 3: it being something I can drink and being the most
• 43:24
Speaker 3: disgusting possible thing in the world. And like, if another
• 43:28
Speaker 3: texture becomes part of it, it's over.
• 43:31
Speaker 4: That's how I feel about And I do love kind
• 43:33
Speaker 4: of looking over at your side of the table right now,
• 43:35
Speaker 4: because I've truly turned it into just a bunch of trash.
• 43:39
Speaker 3: This is not trash, though we should talk about this. No,
• 43:42
Speaker 3: but wait, this is what I mean.
• 43:44
Speaker 4: It's I brought three of everything because I thought, oh,
• 43:47
Speaker 4: well one, I didn't know how large the cruise and
• 43:48
Speaker 4: I'm looking around, I'm going, oh, it's like twenty eight
• 43:51
Speaker 4: twenty eight people in there.
• 43:53
  Speaker 3: John.
• 43:53
Speaker 4: There's John kind of John's reflection back then we have
• 43:56
Speaker 4: the whole sea Jona, right there. I see that I'm
• 43:59
Speaker 4: the puppeteers. Yes, so something for everybody. Uh huh, I
• 44:04
Speaker 4: lost my train. I thought I was saying something, but
• 44:06
Speaker 4: please go on you're doing You.
• 44:09
Speaker 3: Were saying you brought all of these for everybody. Yeah,
• 44:13
Speaker 3: that's it. That wasn't leading to a greater point. No,
• 44:17
Speaker 3: I mean, welcome to my work.
• 44:18
  Speaker 2: No.
• 44:18
Speaker 4: I said it kind of with the kind of the
• 44:20
Speaker 4: lilt that there was like more to what I was saying.
• 44:23
Speaker 4: But I just thought, nope.
• 44:26
Speaker 3: Period. Well then let's talk about these things. How often
• 44:29
Speaker 3: are you using these masks? Well? Not not really.
• 44:34
Speaker 4: I actually I believe in them.
• 44:37
Speaker 3: Right. This is gonna lead to a severe bird for me.
• 44:40
Speaker 4: I hope. I do like them. The lip ones. You
• 44:45
Speaker 4: give them to the kind of the people who don't
• 44:47
Speaker 4: do the most around here, I think.
• 44:51
Speaker 3: They're gonna love it.
• 44:54
Speaker 4: So they're whatever. The imasks are nice?
• 44:58
Speaker 3: Okay twenty four? Yeah, Oh it looks like I slipped
• 45:01
Speaker 3: in four and oh okay, I can double up.
• 45:03
Speaker 4: Yes, So what I like to do when I do
• 45:06
Speaker 4: use these, I don't use them very often, but I'll
• 45:08
Speaker 4: do the imasks and then I'll put the sheet mask
• 45:10
Speaker 4: over that. Oh, just kind of make sure that everything
• 45:13
Speaker 4: is as covered as possible.
• 45:14
Speaker 3: And how long I've never done any of these things.
• 45:17
Speaker 3: Twenty minutes, twenty minutes, laid down, okay, down now, okay,
• 45:24
Speaker 3: this is a robbery. That's a great way to start
• 45:28
Speaker 3: a robbery handing out face masks. Yeah, but they leave
• 45:33
Speaker 3: kind of beautiful, so refreshed. Yes, they look so nice.
• 45:37
Speaker 3: Victimless crimes. I was at this is interesting. These are
• 45:42
Speaker 3: I think these are mostly Korean products. I was a
• 45:44
Speaker 3: we spaw last night.
• 45:45
Speaker 4: Have you ever bet No, I haven't fantastic.
• 45:47
Speaker 3: Are you familiar with what it is?
• 45:49
Speaker 4: Yeah, it's for the we the people.
• 45:52
Speaker 3: It's a Korean all day spa. It's open twenty four
• 45:55
Speaker 3: hours a day. It's in Kaytown, Yes, wonderful.
• 45:58
Speaker 4: Ktown is sort of my final destination. They're no, you
• 46:04
Speaker 4: gotta get over. I go there every once in a
• 46:06
Speaker 4: while to get Korean barbecue. Obviously, it's the top of
• 46:09
Speaker 4: the food chain for me. When they do the redo
• 46:11
Speaker 4: the food pyramidal, I'm politicing hard that they're going to
• 46:14
Speaker 4: have like seasoned and like salted beef up at the
• 46:17
Speaker 4: top and but that's when I'll go to Ktown. Other
• 46:23
Speaker 4: than that, it's the infrastructure is tough to get through.
• 46:27
Speaker 3: It's the parking is difficult. Yeah, there are a lot
• 46:32
Speaker 3: of things that make it hard to get around. I
• 46:34
Speaker 3: will say, but when you go to we Spa, you pull.
• 46:37
Speaker 4: Up and troubles smelts away. A whole of your troubles
• 46:40
  Speaker 4: melts away.
• 46:41
Speaker 3: I think I actually spoke about this on the very
• 46:43
Speaker 3: first episode of this podcast, and like when you started
• 46:45
Speaker 3: and miss being the very last, it's kind of a
• 46:48
Speaker 3: nice full circle moment. Thank you for listening. No, I'm
• 46:54
Speaker 3: letting you down. That's the court summons. Yes, yes, there's
• 47:00
Speaker 3: been another. I said no gifts this whole time, and
• 47:02
Speaker 3: they're finally suing me. No. I remember I spoke about
• 47:06
Speaker 3: we spaw in the first episode. And of course, like
• 47:07
Speaker 3: when you start a podcast, you get a lot of
• 47:10
Speaker 3: people listening who aren't going to be future listeners. They're
• 47:13
Speaker 3: just trying it out. And of course a lot of
• 47:15
Speaker 3: those people are morons, and I remember a lot of
• 47:18
Speaker 3: people being like this snob. All he wanted to talk
• 47:21
Speaker 3: about was the Korean spa. It costs thirty dollars yea
• 47:24
Speaker 3: and has the like the appeal of a high school gym.
• 47:28
Speaker 3: I love it. I adore it. It's like the least.
• 47:31
  Speaker 4: You're a brand ambassador. You're doing a great I want
• 47:33
Speaker 4: to go. Oh my, it's like a gym from a school.
• 47:39
Speaker 3: Oh my, I'm like, start the car in a lace. No,
• 47:45
  Speaker 3: I love it. It's a wonder world. It's so relaxing,
• 47:48
  Speaker 3: it's so.
• 47:50
Speaker 4: It kind of I know they said you were a snob,
• 47:52
Speaker 4: but I'm going to say something. I don't think anything.
• 47:54
Speaker 4: Thirty dollars is relaxing.
• 47:57
Speaker 3: This is the I mean, thirty dollars, as far as
• 48:00
Speaker 3: I'm concerned, is too expensive. And that's the least relaxing
• 48:03
Speaker 3: thing about it. Okay, but thirty dollars is a great deal.
• 48:05
Speaker 3: Can be there for twenty four hours. I'm going to
• 48:08
Speaker 3: be there for two of course. Yes, well you get
• 48:09
Speaker 3: to just go sit in all their beautiful little pools.
• 48:12
Speaker 3: They have like a clay spa. You can lay in
• 48:14
Speaker 3: a salt swap. This is not a snobby thing. It's
• 48:17
Speaker 3: a wonderful place to be. Why did I even bring
• 48:19
Speaker 3: it up? Because we have these things.
• 48:22
Speaker 4: But I'm because I'm actually here representing those people to
• 48:25
Speaker 4: take you down. So I really don't kind of do
• 48:30
Speaker 4: people who write mean comments?
• 48:32
Speaker 3: Oh, how so you just ignore or do you just
• 48:36
Speaker 3: I don't attack because I go, God, it just must
• 48:38
Speaker 3: be so awful to be you it really and I
• 48:42
Speaker 3: mean that kind of with my full chest, truly, like
• 48:45
Speaker 3: what is your life like you would spend?
• 48:47
Speaker 4: Which I like, I'm sometimes I'm one of them, but
• 48:51
Speaker 4: I am. I will write my nasty thing to my friend,
• 48:56
Speaker 4: not to like an online PLoP.
• 48:58
Speaker 3: You don't know. No, that's crat z. Why are you
• 49:02
Speaker 3: gonna yuck someone's young? It's very odd behavior. It's so
• 49:05
Speaker 3: sure alone you're broken. Yes. The only other thing I'll
• 49:15
Speaker 3: say about We Spaw as much as I talked about
• 49:18
Speaker 3: it being not that great, and it's fantastic because there
• 49:20
Speaker 3: are other spas around town, and I had some friends
• 49:22
Speaker 3: go to one and they found a dead body in one.
• 49:26
Speaker 3: Well that happens in the I believe in the po No,
• 49:31
Speaker 3: I think in like the steam room. Oh and that spa,
• 49:34
Speaker 3: not We Spaw, did not respond well to the entire situation.
• 49:38
Speaker 3: How so they basically acted like it was my friend's
• 49:42
Speaker 3: fault that they had found it. They wouldn't it was,
• 49:44
Speaker 3: they wouldn't refund. My friends were covered with refund the money.
• 49:49
Speaker 3: They would not refund them. I'm all, like, I'm a lawyer,
• 49:52
Speaker 3: now I know another case for travel girl. If you
• 49:56
Speaker 3: find a dead body.
• 49:59
Speaker 4: Wait to you see you're gonna drop Devan you see
• 50:01
Speaker 4: her for the first time. Okay, please, I am so sorry.
• 50:04
Speaker 4: I'm never speaking again until you finish this story.
• 50:09
Speaker 3: They found a dead body. They went into took the pulse.
• 50:14
Speaker 3: My friend she went in there and because like the
• 50:17
Speaker 3: person was unconscious and they like walked in. They're like,
• 50:20
Speaker 3: what's happening, and the SPA would not take responsibility. My
• 50:23
Speaker 3: friend had to check it out and basically confirm that
• 50:25
Speaker 3: they had died. What And then finally the SPA kind
• 50:28
Speaker 3: of got involved, but continued to act like it was
• 50:30
Speaker 3: not their fault and that there was really nothing wrong.
• 50:33
Speaker 3: And we're like, and there were other spagoers who were
• 50:35
Speaker 3: annoyed that it was happening. They were like, we want
• 50:37
  Speaker 3: to use this.
• 50:38
Speaker 4: It's annoying to die during peak hours is annoying.
• 50:43
Speaker 3: Find another place to crawl off and die, Dude, in
• 50:46
Speaker 3: the locker room you can block that off, but not
• 50:50
Speaker 3: in the sub or sp have fun. No what Yeah,
• 50:54
Speaker 3: they found it and my friends they waited until the
• 50:58
Speaker 3: ambulance and the fire department came, aim to make sure
• 51:00
Speaker 3: they obviously were the adults in the room, because the
• 51:03
Speaker 3: SPA was not going to do this. Then my Princess.
• 51:06
Speaker 4: Spas plan just going, oh, he's really in a deep breas.
• 51:10
Speaker 3: That's a great question, really hoping that the body would
• 51:12
  Speaker 3: just disintegrate.
• 51:13
Speaker 4: Well that's kind of done. That does happen, and very
• 51:16
Speaker 4: quickly within the hour, within the yes, absolutely within the hour,
• 51:25
Speaker 4: it will sort of just disintegrate.
• 51:27
Speaker 3: It will turn into a Himalayan rock salt. Hm. That's
• 51:31
Speaker 3: the secret of all of these spots. Yes, they're just
• 51:33
Speaker 3: dead bodies. No, they they waited until the paramedics come
• 51:38
Speaker 3: and taken care of it. Then they asked can we
• 51:40
Speaker 3: get a refund? And they said no, what and then
• 51:44
Speaker 3: it's kind of a lift situation. Well, it is sort
• 51:46
Speaker 3: of like times are tough. I guess we lost their customers.
• 51:51
Speaker 3: No refunds for anything.
• 51:53
Speaker 4: Ever, No, that's and what it was a massage being.
• 52:01
Speaker 3: It was not a massage. What happens in a massage? Envy,
• 52:07
  Speaker 3: I can't picture exactly what's going on because it's kind
• 52:09
Speaker 3: of a franchise thing and I feel like that feels
• 52:11
  Speaker 3: so impersonal for I want like a I want a
• 52:15
Speaker 3: massage in all business.
• 52:17
Speaker 4: Uh huh, well, Massage Envy is a small best, it's
• 52:20
Speaker 4: a local business. I used to be a Massage Envy member.
• 52:25
Speaker 4: And what was your experience like with massage Envy?
• 52:28
Speaker 3: Impersonal? Kind of exactly? You said, kind of terrible.
• 52:34
  Speaker 4: Okay, I this is what I don't like, and I'm
• 52:37
Speaker 4: so sorry, but I'm like really kind of tired of
• 52:40
Speaker 4: people cutting corners. A massage is kind of on that hour, yes, right, right,
• 52:46
Speaker 4: don't go fifty minutes, no no, no, no, eighty minutes, no sweet,
• 52:51
Speaker 4: sixty minutes, ninety minutes, that's sort of the timeframe.
• 52:57
  Speaker 3: Fifty no.
• 52:57
Speaker 4: That means you want, what are you doing twiddling your
• 53:00
Speaker 4: thumbs and yank in my junk for ten minutes?
• 53:05
Speaker 3: Do your job? Nobody wants to work. Wait, so what
• 53:12
Speaker 3: would happen after fifteen minutes? It'd just be like your time's.
• 53:14
Speaker 4: Time out times with them timesimy. They would just kind
• 53:20
Speaker 4: of leave and it's fifty minutes, and so then I
• 53:22
Speaker 4: have ten minutes to kind of scramble, and I wonder
• 53:24
Speaker 4: what's going on? Leave the money on the dresser? Would
• 53:27
Speaker 4: you ever try complaining no, because they did say that
• 53:30
Speaker 4: it was fifteen minutes long, so I know.
• 53:32
Speaker 3: It is not the standard massage time. It should be
• 53:35
Speaker 3: one hour. Yeah, I agree, who settled on fifty minutes?
• 53:38
Speaker 4: I did when I send the contracts, but I still
• 53:40
Speaker 4: don't like it and.
• 53:42
Speaker 3: Their gimmick our massages are less time.
• 53:45
Speaker 4: I've seen other places kind of try to pull this stunt.
• 53:49
Speaker 4: It's called us what's a cheap trick? Not for me
• 53:53
Speaker 4: because they're charging me the sixty minute kind of rate.
• 53:56
Speaker 3: Right, and it is it like a monthly subscription? Why
• 54:00
Speaker 3: go as often as you won't?
• 54:01
Speaker 4: M Well, no, so it's like a monthly subscription, which
• 54:07
  Speaker 4: I think, listen, it's been a while. I think basically
• 54:10
Speaker 4: your monthly subscription will get you one massage a month,
• 54:14
Speaker 4: which is cheaper than if you had just bought it outright,
• 54:17
Speaker 4: and then if you miss it that month.
• 54:18
Speaker 3: It rolls over. So they kind of took that sort
• 54:20
  Speaker 3: of eighteen te.
• 54:22
Speaker 4: Or Rizon kind of mentality of the rollover minutes and
• 54:25
Speaker 4: they used it towards massage. It was nice that somebody
• 54:29
Speaker 4: kind of took that over it though.
• 54:30
Speaker 3: So yeah, of course somebody had to take over the
• 54:32
Speaker 3: rollover concept. Yeah, because they don't. We don't really do
• 54:34
Speaker 3: that anymore. No, nothing rolls over. I guess, yeah, I
• 54:38
Speaker 3: can't think of anything. No, So you're the massage. Let's
• 54:41
Speaker 3: say you missed it for January, it rolls over to February. Now,
• 54:43
Speaker 3: in February you can have two massages.
• 54:45
Speaker 4: Yes, because you paid for that one massage at your
• 54:49
Speaker 4: member's rate. Right right now, I'm going, wait, it's pretty good.
• 54:53
Speaker 4: I'm about to join.
• 54:54
Speaker 3: Again, especially if you will let them all roll over
• 54:56
Speaker 3: for twelve months and then you're having twelve in.
• 54:58
Speaker 4: A row that day.
• 55:00
Speaker 3: You could just do them all that day. You just
• 55:03
Speaker 3: let them kill you there.
• 55:04
Speaker 4: Yeah, no refund, no refund I needed that is I
• 55:10
Speaker 4: really don't think I'll ever get over that.
• 55:12
Speaker 3: Wow, the fifty minutes, not the fifty minutes. The dead body, oh,
• 55:15
Speaker 3: the dead well, of course, I mean imagine my friends, right,
• 55:19
Speaker 3: how do they ever relax in ams?
• 55:21
Speaker 4: Where in this state?
• 55:23
Speaker 3: It was in town? Yeah, I would name it, but
• 55:25
Speaker 3: but I'm sure there's some legal gray area there that
• 55:27
  Speaker 3: could become difficult.
• 55:28
  Speaker 4: Don't because I do think that they'll have what's coming.
• 55:32
Speaker 3: I feel like they're not going to. I feel like
• 55:34
Speaker 3: this has probably happened multiple times for them to not
• 55:38
Speaker 3: be freaking out, they must be like, oh, I guess
• 55:40
Speaker 3: what's hocked, do you? I mean, people die, they do
• 55:43
  Speaker 3: put the warnings.
• 55:45
Speaker 4: And that's and you know what, that will go a
• 55:47
Speaker 4: long way in the court of lacking.
• 55:50
Speaker 3: Absolutely will. So if you've got if you're feeling light headed,
• 55:53
  Speaker 3: get out.
• 55:54
Speaker 4: Sorry, nothing would be more lightheaded than dead. Yeah, and
• 56:00
Speaker 4: I guess they were feeling it. They were absolutely suck
• 56:03
Speaker 4: it up, you're dying.
• 56:07
Speaker 3: Yeah, rip to whoever that person was.
• 56:09
Speaker 4: Yes, the first time I went to Japan, ever, I
• 56:11
Speaker 4: did also see a dead body on the street.
• 56:13
  Speaker 3: Oh that's a tough situation.
• 56:16
Speaker 4: Now, there's no kind of anything else I can share
• 56:20
Speaker 4: about that story, not because he was involved. Yeah, but yeah.
• 56:25
Speaker 3: This is what was. It had been there for a while.
• 56:28
Speaker 3: I mean, this is say dark, I start crying.
• 56:33
Speaker 4: I could have helped, I don't know, but nobody was
• 56:35
Speaker 4: doing anything. They might not have been dead, just just
• 56:38
  Speaker 4: shallow breath.
• 56:40
Speaker 3: Shallow breath, and no one was helping. This feels very
• 56:43
Speaker 3: kind of par for human nature.
• 56:46
Speaker 4: Yeah, it was a premonition.
• 56:48
Speaker 3: I think. I'm so sorry I brought that up. My god,
• 56:51
Speaker 3: what you're saying it was a premonition. You knew they
• 56:53
Speaker 3: were going to die in that bush. Yeah, so basically
• 56:56
Speaker 3: you see everyone you see, you see is a dead
• 56:58
Speaker 3: body because eventually, yes, you know, they'll be dead. I'm
• 57:02
Speaker 3: looking at a dead body, right right, Ultimately we're all
• 57:05
Speaker 3: looking at dead bodies constantly. Well, eventually, yes, you're looking
• 57:09
Speaker 3: at a future dead body. Yes, uh huh, that's an
• 57:12
Speaker 3: easy way to lie. That's a good party story. Saw
• 57:15
Speaker 3: a dead body last week? Really, no one's gonna ask
• 57:18
Speaker 3: that many follow up questions. No, unless they're the police,
• 57:22
Speaker 3: and then they're not going to ask any No, they're
• 57:24
Speaker 3: gonna get this guy's crazy. We got to get out
• 57:27
Speaker 3: of here. Okay, Well, I've got all of my masks here.
• 57:31
Speaker 3: How long have you been using.
• 57:32
Speaker 4: Masks metaphorically or the.
• 57:37
Speaker 3: First when did you become your true sound?
• 57:39
Speaker 4: And still haven't? No, Still you're masking. Now I'm social masking.
• 57:45
Speaker 4: I kind of have been using them for I guess
• 57:48
Speaker 4: like ten or fifteen years.
• 57:50
Speaker 3: I got you into these the Koreans. The Koreans came
• 57:53
Speaker 3: for you personally. Yes, have you been to Korea? I have? Yes,
• 57:57
Speaker 3: People go there and it seems like a wonderland. I mean,
• 57:59
  Speaker 3: like for skincare.
• 58:01
Speaker 4: I'm going to tell you something about something. Okay, Okay,
• 58:04
  Speaker 4: I one, I'm I'm opening a medical spa.
• 58:07
Speaker 3: Is that true? That is true? Can I be the first?
• 58:10
Speaker 3: Can I cut the ribbon? Please? Maybe? I mean you'll
• 58:12
Speaker 3: cut the ribbon. Maybe I can cut I don't need
• 58:14
Speaker 3: to cut the ribbon.
• 58:15
Speaker 4: You can do it. Nobody's asked, and I didn't ask
• 58:18
Speaker 4: to cut it either.
• 58:19
Speaker 3: So please, you aren't even planning on a ribbon?
• 58:21
Speaker 4: No, until now, I'm going, hey, wait, I should audition
• 58:24
Speaker 4: for that. And so well, one I have asked me
• 58:28
  Speaker 4: if I have a medical I know you're the host,
• 58:30
Speaker 4: but asked, here's a good question. Asked me, do I
• 58:31
Speaker 4: have a medical background?
• 58:33
Speaker 3: Do you have a medical background? No other thing before that?
• 58:38
Speaker 4: Yeah, I do not technically, and so in the state
• 58:42
Speaker 4: of California, you're not allowed to own it. But there's
• 58:45
Speaker 4: a lot of there's like some ways to go around it. Okay,
• 58:48
Speaker 4: let's hear these found them all. So it started with
• 58:52
Speaker 4: I have a friend who I had been going to
• 58:54
Speaker 4: who did like my lasers and injections and stuff.
• 58:58
  Speaker 3: Edit that out.
• 59:00
Speaker 4: And they were like, I want to do my own thing.
• 59:04
Speaker 4: And I was like, well, if you're doing your own thing.
• 59:07
  Speaker 3: Tell me where.
• 59:07
Speaker 4: I'm just going to follow you. I'll like, never come
• 59:09
Speaker 4: to this place again. A chain, oh, a chain, yes,
• 59:13
Speaker 4: laser yeah, laser envy. And they were telling me like, oh,
• 59:19
Speaker 4: but I need to find like a they are a nurse,
• 59:22
Speaker 4: and you need to have a medical director of your
• 59:24
Speaker 4: clinic who's an MD. Okay, And I was like, one
• 59:28
Speaker 4: of my best friends, his husband is a doctor, was
• 59:32
Speaker 4: recently disbarred and never will be barred again. Yeah, he's
• 59:36
Speaker 4: actually completely barred. And I said, let me talk to him.
• 59:40
Speaker 4: And so she was telling me I need to find
• 59:42
Speaker 4: a doctor to be the head of the clinic. I said,
• 59:44
Speaker 4: let me talk to my friend. Maybe I can help you.
• 59:47
Speaker 4: And then we started talking and I was like, would
• 59:51
Speaker 4: you ever want to do something together? And she was
• 59:53
Speaker 4: like hell yes, Oh my god. So we've been working
• 59:56
Speaker 4: on the process of like getting it together, and so
• 59:58
Speaker 4: now I know a lot about all of this stuff,
• 1:00:01
Speaker 4: and now let me tell you.
• 1:00:02
Speaker 3: About let's get there.
• 1:00:03
Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, I'm going it's really great. Yeah. As someone
• 1:00:10
Speaker 4: who yeah no, So now why all those treatments you
• 1:00:15
Speaker 4: see on TikTok and all those people going they have
• 1:00:17
Speaker 4: their pinky up their wait I shut up, bitch, listen
• 1:00:21
Speaker 4: to me. Okay, everything's so cheap over there, Yeah, because
• 1:00:25
Speaker 4: you're getting like they're blowing air at your face.
• 1:00:28
Speaker 3: Oh, there are a lot of like not scientifically proven.
• 1:00:31
  Speaker 4: But there's a lot of there's a lot of like
• 1:00:33
Speaker 4: really superficial treatments that you can get done that we
• 1:00:36
Speaker 4: don't have because they're unnecessary. They're nice, but it's like like,
• 1:00:41
Speaker 4: wouldn't it be nice if I just blew on your
• 1:00:43
Speaker 4: face for twenty minutes? So many yet, and so I'm
• 1:00:50
Speaker 4: thinking of offering it. And so the thing is is
• 1:00:54
Speaker 4: that they have things where it's like they blow compressed
• 1:00:56
Speaker 4: air onto your face.
• 1:00:57
Speaker 3: Compressed air. Honey, I can go out in the wind, yeah, exactly,
• 1:01:03
Speaker 3: blow the dice and fucking hair dryer at me. Okay.
• 1:01:08
Speaker 4: And they'll offer things like red light where it's like, okay,
• 1:01:11
Speaker 4: the red light sort of documentation that we have, you know,
• 1:01:16
Speaker 4: those face things that you can.
• 1:01:17
Speaker 3: Put the red lights where it's like it's like vitamins,
• 1:01:21
Speaker 3: taking vitamins where it's like it's probably which you know,
• 1:01:24
Speaker 3: I'm scarfing those. Of course I am a why not try? Well?
• 1:01:28
Speaker 4: The dice exactly, I'm all about It's like Vegas. And
• 1:01:32
Speaker 4: so with the red lights like omnilux for instance, I'm
• 1:01:35
Speaker 4: actually taking them down right now in.
• 1:01:37
  Speaker 3: This Goodbye OMNILU.
• 1:01:40
Speaker 4: So all of the studies that they've done on red
• 1:01:42
Speaker 4: light are based on not the mask that they sell,
• 1:01:44
Speaker 4: on the panels that they sell to professional Oh yeah,
• 1:01:50
Speaker 4: they sell the panels that they are selling or that's
• 1:01:54
Speaker 4: all their studies are done on how effective the panels are,
• 1:01:57
Speaker 4: not the mask and using like quote the same thing apology. Right,
• 1:02:01
Speaker 4: So they'll do like different red light treatments. But to
• 1:02:04
Speaker 4: have red light be effective, you need to do it consistently,
• 1:02:07
Speaker 4: like two three times a week, and.
• 1:02:10
Speaker 3: For it to be super strong, it just needs to.
• 1:02:12
Speaker 4: Be stronger than a little light up.
• 1:02:18
  Speaker 3: Yes.
• 1:02:19
Speaker 4: So, and then when it comes to like the the
• 1:02:21
Speaker 4: different treatments, like the real intense ones like the your
• 1:02:24
Speaker 4: Pico laser, You're clear and brilliant and everything everything like
• 1:02:27
Speaker 4: is price comparable to overhear. Oh, we just have to
• 1:02:31
Speaker 4: have a lot of the less like walk in walkouts
• 1:02:34
Speaker 4: because a lot of these people are and I'm gonna
• 1:02:39
Speaker 4: take I'm gonna name names.
• 1:02:40
Speaker 3: Don't worry. A lot of these people will walk in
• 1:02:43
Speaker 3: and they'll be like I went to.
• 1:02:44
Speaker 4: Korea, and I got eight sent treatments in one day.
• 1:02:47
Speaker 4: And they leave, and they just left, and they're like,
• 1:02:50
Speaker 4: and look at my skin. They're just slathered in vasileine
• 1:02:53
Speaker 4: head to toe, slick as a seal, and they're going,
• 1:02:56
Speaker 4: I got all this done. Okay, listen to me. If
• 1:03:00
Speaker 4: you got anything worthwhile done, there'd be blood, you'd be
• 1:03:04
Speaker 4: under anesthetic, and you'd be crying. Trauma involved, absolutely, because
• 1:03:09
Speaker 4: only beauty only comes from trauma. I just not come
• 1:03:12
Speaker 4: from a compressed air. Okay, that's kind of true. And
• 1:03:16
Speaker 4: so they and so then when they go and they
• 1:03:18
Speaker 4: compare the prices of it's like within dollars for how
• 1:03:23
Speaker 4: much is botox or syringes of filler or things like that,
• 1:03:27
Speaker 4: it's all very comparable. They just offer a lot of
• 1:03:30
Speaker 4: more superficial treatments which people will feel like, oh, I'm
• 1:03:33
Speaker 4: getting so much done.
• 1:03:34
Speaker 3: What a bargain. And then forgetting airline tickets and hotel.
• 1:03:38
Speaker 4: People are and then they go home and they drink
• 1:03:40
  Speaker 4: raw milk.
• 1:03:41
Speaker 3: What can you do?
• 1:03:42
Speaker 4: There's really defund the Department of Education. I think we
• 1:03:46
Speaker 4: should and we should fund the Tourist Board of Korea.
• 1:03:50
Speaker 4: I think we should do that. They might be really good.
• 1:03:54
Speaker 3: No, uh at all. I guess that adds up. I'm
• 1:03:57
Speaker 3: sorry my trip to Korea don't a culture of the
• 1:04:01
Speaker 3: rich country. And I was just planning to go get
• 1:04:03
Speaker 3: air blown on my face.
• 1:04:05
Speaker 4: Yeah exactly, you know they and you know what it is.
• 1:04:07
Speaker 4: I the people who do it, they love it and
• 1:04:09
Speaker 4: they're like, I did it Ai skin analysis. Oh god girl,
• 1:04:13
Speaker 4: please spare me the details. Yeah enough, So what are
• 1:04:18
Speaker 4: you going to do at your clinic? Everything everybody else does, right,
• 1:04:22
Speaker 4: just the effective things.
• 1:04:24
  Speaker 3: Yes.
• 1:04:24
  Speaker 4: And the thing is, I don't what I don't like
• 1:04:26
Speaker 4: about going to like what I didn't like about going
• 1:04:29
  Speaker 4: to a medspa was that I just didn't I didn't
• 1:04:31
Speaker 4: feel like they were just trying to peddle me to
• 1:04:33
Speaker 4: like some sort of thing I either didn't need or
• 1:04:36
Speaker 4: didn't want it, or like I was like, I just
• 1:04:38
Speaker 4: want to do something to like maintain.
• 1:04:42
Speaker 3: Right, and they were like, I don't want like a
• 1:04:43
  Speaker 3: radical transformation.
• 1:04:45
Speaker 4: Well I wanted that too, and they were like, please leave.
• 1:04:48
Speaker 3: I want to be unrecognizable worst way radicalized politically, which
• 1:04:55
Speaker 3: I am now and it feels good.
• 1:04:58
Speaker 4: And so I just think that like the whole experience
• 1:05:03
Speaker 4: can just be better, pleasant and common sense, yes, and
• 1:05:07
Speaker 4: I well, when I was getting into it one I
• 1:05:11
Speaker 4: just felt like intimidating, of course, and I didn't know
• 1:05:14
Speaker 4: the hospital essentially exactly which I'm prepared and qualified to do.
• 1:05:18
Speaker 4: Not the eyes of kind of the state of Gavin Newsome,
• 1:05:24
Speaker 4: the Saint Adam Rippon Hospital. Yeah, huh yeah, it's like
• 1:05:30
Speaker 4: off brand Cedars's kind of when I'm starting oaks.
• 1:05:33
Speaker 3: Yeah, different trees. Wait, so do you actually have a
• 1:05:37
Speaker 3: name for the medspall y super skin? Oh? I like this,
• 1:05:42
Speaker 3: And where do you know where it's going to be?
• 1:05:43
Speaker 4: I think, well, I live in Pasadena, and so does
• 1:05:46
Speaker 4: my friend who's the nurse, and so we want to
• 1:05:48
Speaker 4: try to find something in Pasadena.
• 1:05:50
Speaker 3: Right, I feel like Pasadena is the home of Yes,
• 1:05:55
  Speaker 3: that's probably true. I think.
• 1:05:56
Speaker 4: Yeah, there's no shortage of medspa there. There's like fifty.
• 1:06:01
Speaker 3: Fifty and you're gonna put them all out of business.
• 1:06:04
Speaker 4: Absolutely well before well because of.
• 1:06:06
Speaker 3: Arson, even before you open your business, they will be dead.
• 1:06:11
Speaker 4: Oh yeah, it'll just be like it'll be like a
• 1:06:14
  Speaker 4: ktown spa.
• 1:06:15
Speaker 3: A string of fires breaks out and pasit to every
• 1:06:18
Speaker 3: local med spa. Please become a firebug. That's all I
• 1:06:21
  Speaker 3: want for you.
• 1:06:22
Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm gonna go in the next door app and
• 1:06:24
Speaker 4: be like, I think I smell smoke as you're.
• 1:06:28
  Speaker 3: Lighting the fire.
• 1:06:34
Speaker 4: When people are like, we saw a suspicious five to
• 1:06:37
Speaker 4: seven kind of looking man getting a lot of gasoline
• 1:06:40
Speaker 4: out of the Exon mobile, and I'll go wan right
• 1:06:42
Speaker 4: there right away and be like, no, no, that was
• 1:06:46
Speaker 4: that was made up. I think you're wrong.
• 1:06:49
Speaker 3: This person has lied before. Mm hmm. It's a bost Well,
• 1:06:55
Speaker 3: they're going there next. They probably are right just reporting coyotes.
• 1:07:00
Speaker 4: Oh my god, wait do you live in it? You
• 1:07:02
Speaker 4: live in an area where there's a lot of coyotes.
• 1:07:04
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, I see coyotes. I see. I have
• 1:07:06
Speaker 3: a lot of wildlife. Oh, raccoons, possums, coyotes, parrots. Yeah,
• 1:07:11
Speaker 3: we have the parrots too. I think those are the
• 1:07:13
Speaker 3: four major Then cats, a lot.
• 1:07:16
Speaker 4: Of youth kind of throw cats.
• 1:07:18
Speaker 3: A lot of feral cats really, oh yeah, oh yeah,
• 1:07:22
  Speaker 3: and I love them. I mean not a lot. I
• 1:07:23
Speaker 3: mean now I'm talking like I live behind a dumpster,
• 1:07:26
Speaker 3: but there are a couple of feral cats in your house.
• 1:07:28
Speaker 3: You do, don't. There's a lot of rotten garbage that
• 1:07:33
Speaker 3: I just kind of dip into No, we have a
• 1:07:36
Speaker 3: couple of feral cats and I support them. I mean
• 1:07:38
Speaker 3: I financial people are like romantically, the're my secret family.
• 1:07:44
Speaker 3: My boyfriend has no idea.
• 1:07:47
Speaker 4: The raccoons, I don't really I like them online.
• 1:07:51
Speaker 3: I love a picture of video.
• 1:07:53
Speaker 4: I used to live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and where
• 1:07:58
Speaker 4: I lived, my door to leave my apartment was like
• 1:08:02
Speaker 4: right next to the dumpster, and so like at night
• 1:08:05
Speaker 4: when I would like throw the trash out, I would
• 1:08:07
Speaker 4: sometimes accidentally hit them, not knowing that they were.
• 1:08:10
Speaker 3: In there already doing their job.
• 1:08:13
Speaker 4: We were at work, right and I'm like, show me
• 1:08:15
Speaker 4: your papers. I was originally yeah, so furious, and they'd
• 1:08:21
Speaker 4: hiss at you. Oh yeah, come on.
• 1:08:24
Speaker 3: That's not a sound you want to hear from a raccoon.
• 1:08:26
Speaker 4: No, I don't want to hear anything. How about a
• 1:08:28
  Speaker 4: fucking thank you.
• 1:08:30
Speaker 3: I just gave you gold. Yeah you're gonna want that.
• 1:08:33
  Speaker 3: What's in there?
• 1:08:34
Speaker 4: How about a fucking thank you? And then the coyotes,
• 1:08:37
Speaker 4: we see them all they just walk the streets.
• 1:08:39
Speaker 3: Oh yeah. And I'm not scared of a coyote though,
• 1:08:42
Speaker 3: are you? Hey? What what? You're not scared of a
• 1:08:47
Speaker 3: wild job? They're not. They're scared of you.
• 1:08:50
Speaker 4: Oh, absolutely took out a coyote.
• 1:08:55
Speaker 3: Scared of you. They truly are. They're way more frightened
• 1:08:59
Speaker 3: of large. The only thing that is calling large me me,
• 1:09:03
Speaker 3: I'm huge, seven to four hundred pounds. No, the only
• 1:09:09
Speaker 3: things that are really in danger of coyotes are small pits. Otherwise, coyotes,
• 1:09:13
Speaker 3: you know, they'll just stand there then scurry off if
• 1:09:16
Speaker 3: you're bigger than them.
• 1:09:17
Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I thought that's because they were rude, because
• 1:09:19
  Speaker 4: they were scared.
• 1:09:20
Speaker 3: It's because you had you thought you had an off
• 1:09:22
Speaker 3: putting personality. Yeah, what the hell, I'll never have a friend.
• 1:09:25
Speaker 4: No, I actually have one of those like a rape
• 1:09:28
Speaker 4: whistles sort of deal on my bag because I have
• 1:09:32
Speaker 4: a small dog. Oh, I have a medium sized dog.
• 1:09:35
Speaker 4: And so I have two dogs. They're both like mixes, right, Tony,
• 1:09:39
Speaker 4: he's from the streets of Tijuana, Okay, and I guess
• 1:09:43
Speaker 4: he's getting sent back there. And he's half pitbull and
• 1:09:47
Speaker 4: then half kind of a mini if you literally google
• 1:09:50
Speaker 4: like Mexican street dog.
• 1:09:52
Speaker 3: Right, he looks exactly like that long hair, short hair, like.
• 1:09:56
Speaker 4: Short ish and so he's like a German shepherd boxer
• 1:10:00
Speaker 4: Golden retriever. So he's just he looks like a dog, right,
• 1:10:04
Speaker 4: He's so cute. And then we have Tracy. She was
• 1:10:08
Speaker 4: found in a dumpster in Baker's Field.
• 1:10:11
Speaker 3: Oh that's heartbreaking, it is. That is heartbreaking. I do
• 1:10:16
Speaker 3: run a puppy mill, so I don't care. Oh so
• 1:10:18
Speaker 3: maybe it was you. You through Tracy in there, but
• 1:10:21
Speaker 3: we have her. Now we have a lot of excess dogs,
• 1:10:23
Speaker 3: and you know, it's just part of the business. People
• 1:10:25
Speaker 3: love their labordoodles. They're in, they're out.
• 1:10:28
Speaker 4: And she's half pitbull, half wiener dog.
• 1:10:30
Speaker 3: Oh my god, that's gotta be so sweet.
• 1:10:33
Speaker 4: Yeah, she looks like an alien and she's very small,
• 1:10:35
Speaker 4: and we have to and now my favorite thing to
• 1:10:37
Speaker 4: do is like she just is so acts like she
• 1:10:40
Speaker 4: plays all day long, and she gets so skinny, like
• 1:10:44
Speaker 4: she just looks like.
• 1:10:45
  Speaker 3: Like bone smoking.
• 1:10:47
Speaker 4: No, she's gonna start, So I'm going to teach her how.
• 1:10:50
Speaker 4: And so we give her this like little like yogurt
• 1:10:52
Speaker 4: concoction and I always call it Wacanne three thousand and
• 1:10:55
Speaker 4: so Tracy eats weight gain three thousand and So she
• 1:10:58
  Speaker 4: is just.
• 1:10:59
Speaker 3: Kind of like some can sell at the atkin. I
• 1:11:03
Speaker 3: will do that. That'll be eventually the next thing.
• 1:11:05
Speaker 4: Well, and then I'll sell the antidote. Yeah, you have
• 1:11:08
Speaker 4: to create the progarettes to solve it. Yes, cigarettes.
• 1:11:12
Speaker 3: Well, I'm sorry, but you have small dogs. You have
• 1:11:15
Speaker 3: kind of the rape whistle for coyotes. I feel like
• 1:11:18
Speaker 3: you were trying to say something I was, and then
• 1:11:19
Speaker 3: I was amazing. I just wanted to know what your
• 1:11:21
  Speaker 3: dogs look like.
• 1:11:21
Speaker 4: One thing that you will learn about me is that
• 1:11:23
Speaker 4: the sentences I say don't kind of string or like
• 1:11:27
Speaker 4: lead into the next sentence.
• 1:11:29
Speaker 3: You famously have never made a point and I never will.
• 1:11:33
Speaker 3: You hate a thesis. I do not do that.
• 1:11:35
Speaker 4: I do kind of a synopsis, but not a thesis.
• 1:11:41
Speaker 3: But I'm curious about this whistle. Then what what does
• 1:11:44
Speaker 3: it attach to your keys?
• 1:11:45
Speaker 4: So I am kind of the outfit I'm in while
• 1:11:49
Speaker 4: I'm like on a walk is like casual. And then
• 1:11:52
Speaker 4: I have a fanny pack sort of like around the
• 1:11:55
Speaker 4: shoulders like cross body.
• 1:11:57
Speaker 3: Of course, okay, we level a cross body.
• 1:12:00
Speaker 4: Yes, I wanted you to finish that because I went
• 1:12:02
Speaker 4: across buddy. What and so in my little zip block,

Speaker 4: not zip block, my little zipper fanny pack. In there,
• 1:12:08
Speaker 4: I have two packs of Trident bubble gum flavored gum.
• 1:12:13
Speaker 3: Sometimes the walks get long, and.
• 1:12:15
Speaker 4: Then I have the poop bags, rolls of poop back
• 1:12:20
Speaker 4: responsible of dog owners.
• 1:12:21
  Speaker 3: Of course we.
• 1:12:23
Speaker 4: Should shoot down the people who don't absolutely just killed
• 1:12:28
Speaker 4: on the spot, like we should drone like I think
• 1:12:30
Speaker 4: we need to get elon on that.
• 1:12:31
Speaker 3: I should be a sniper on every electric pole. Yeah,
• 1:12:35
Speaker 3: just waiting for these people. Bye bye, sorry good. You're
• 1:12:39
Speaker 3: not a responsible person. No, you know, not doing the
• 1:12:41
  Speaker 3: bare minimum.
• 1:12:42
Speaker 4: So I'm going to run on that one day. I'm
• 1:12:44
Speaker 4: not probably run from it.
• 1:12:46
Speaker 3: Kill kill, that's your slogan.
• 1:12:48
Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, And so I have that, and then I
• 1:12:53
Speaker 4: have treats in the back because Tony's very.
• 1:12:55
  Speaker 3: Like food motivated.
• 1:12:57
Speaker 4: Okay, so he would do anything for like a piece
• 1:13:00
Speaker 4: of romy shit. Yeah not even I could have rocks
• 1:13:04
Speaker 4: in my hand and I go with's that And so
• 1:13:06
Speaker 4: I have that. And then it's a little keychain that
• 1:13:09
Speaker 4: goes onto one of the zippers. And for this to work,
• 1:13:11
Speaker 4: all you do is like you rip it off of
• 1:13:13
Speaker 4: the key chain and it's this loud, loud whist.
• 1:13:17
Speaker 3: Is it a one use only multiple? Have you ever
• 1:13:22
Speaker 3: had to use it?
• 1:13:23
Speaker 4: Just my house for fun?
• 1:13:26
Speaker 3: You can get dangerous and you're bored. Yeah, a fidget spinner. Fact,
• 1:13:31
Speaker 3: cry wolf in the house. They're all alone.
• 1:13:35
Speaker 4: Ah, nobody's there. The dogs are like, what is going
• 1:13:37
Speaker 4: on again? They're completely numb to the sound.
• 1:13:39
Speaker 3: Now yeah, okay, well I'll have to look into one
• 1:13:41
  Speaker 3: of those.
• 1:13:42
Speaker 4: Oh yeah, Well the other day I saw on TikTok
• 1:13:44
Speaker 4: somebody who I hate was going right now, only I'm
• 1:13:48
Speaker 4: the TikTok shop. I got this one for my sister
• 1:13:50
Speaker 4: from my aunt, for my mother, from my grandmother. They're
• 1:13:52
Speaker 4: only twenty dollars now. But you click on this link
• 1:13:55
Speaker 4: right now, I'm like, give me a bright stop it.
• 1:13:57
Speaker 4: I don't trust anybody who's ever had an Amazon store
• 1:14:00
Speaker 4: linked in their biome.
• 1:14:02
Speaker 3: Of course, no, up until five years ago, this was
• 1:14:06
Speaker 3: not a part of human behavior. It's not a normal
• 1:14:09
Speaker 3: thing to do. You were not like, oh, I'm buying
• 1:14:11
Speaker 3: all these things from my family. Wouldn't you like one?
• 1:14:13
Speaker 3: That's never been a thing until now.
• 1:14:14
Speaker 4: Well it was a thing when there was like the
• 1:14:16
Speaker 4: Avon lady. Yeah, of course, and we all knew she
• 1:14:18
Speaker 4: was a con artist exactly.
• 1:14:20
Speaker 3: She's trying to get a free car. Yes, she purpose right,
• 1:14:24
  Speaker 3: Like the people.
• 1:14:25
Speaker 4: I have more respect for the women who worked at
• 1:14:27
Speaker 4: Lula Row than I do for anyone who links to
• 1:14:30
Speaker 4: my Amazon starfront. Stop just garbage, no crazy. You'll never
• 1:14:36
Speaker 4: guess what I found only today, And I'm like, this
• 1:14:39
Speaker 4: is the thing you guys. If something costs a cent
• 1:14:42
Speaker 4: on the TikTok shop, the tariffs are gonna.
• 1:14:45
Speaker 3: Hit you hard. Those people are in for a big
• 1:14:49
  Speaker 3: finding out.
• 1:14:50
Speaker 4: Absolutely, go to your Amazon storefront. I hope it's linked
• 1:14:54
Speaker 4: to a GoFundMe because you're gonna need the money.
• 1:14:57
Speaker 3: You're gonna need the money. It's a two stuff shop
• 1:15:00
Speaker 3: for supporting these TikTokers at this point, absolutely, and they
• 1:15:04
Speaker 3: need it. Well. Should we say anything else about these things?
• 1:15:07
Speaker 3: Do you want to this is? That is the best
• 1:15:13
Speaker 3: flavor I've never had, the pineapple flavor. Do you know?
• 1:15:15
Speaker 4: Gum is really good for your teeth?
• 1:15:17
Speaker 3: It is good for your teeth, It's good for and
• 1:15:19
Speaker 3: there's also again a TikTok trend of like young men
• 1:15:22
Speaker 3: chewing gum or something to strengthen their job.
• 1:15:26
Speaker 4: I've recently seen these people going, well, do you have some?
• 1:15:31
Speaker 3: Oh? I have something about to extra packs?
• 1:15:34
  Speaker 1: Uh?
• 1:15:34
Speaker 4: The people on TikTok going well, I You'll never believe it.
• 1:15:38
Speaker 3: I remineralize my teeth. Open the schools.
• 1:15:45
Speaker 4: I'm like, I'm begging someone to open the schools. I
• 1:15:48
Speaker 4: remineralized my teeth. All my cavities went away.
• 1:15:51
  Speaker 3: They didn't.
• 1:15:51
Speaker 4: This is an RFK situation which all his cavities went
• 1:15:55
Speaker 4: away and they went into his brain, and now his
• 1:15:57
Speaker 4: brain is an empty cavity.
• 1:15:58
  Speaker 3: It's an absolute void. It's just suck. It's terminal f
• 1:16:03
Speaker 3: it's cannot fly past it without getting sucked into. Actually
• 1:16:07
Speaker 3: the tower building up to space. That was his idea.
• 1:16:10
Speaker 3: I still it. Yeah, this gum is delicious. I told
• 1:16:13
Speaker 3: you the pineapple flavor.
• 1:16:15
Speaker 4: It's the best, and you have to get it online.
• 1:16:17
Speaker 3: They don't sell it in stores. It's only in your TikTok.
• 1:16:20
Speaker 4: Well, if you go to my Amazon's storefront, you'll kind
• 1:16:22
Speaker 4: of find it there.
• 1:16:24
Speaker 3: I did have to order the senten ice online like
• 1:16:27
Speaker 3: Mom and pop shop. Well, I'm like going to Target.
• 1:16:30
Speaker 3: So I'm telling targets Mom and Pop at Target, they're
• 1:16:33
Speaker 3: not selling this to me, Orbit Orbit, and it was
• 1:16:36
Speaker 3: all over. I'm gonna have to spit this out because
• 1:16:37
Speaker 3: people are gonna hear me chewing gum. They want to
• 1:16:39
Speaker 3: hear that. I'm gonna do it a couple of times. Listener,
• 1:16:42
Speaker 3: if you're if you don't like to hear the sinus
• 1:16:45
Speaker 3: one chewing, turnaway. Now. I'm just gonna do this because
• 1:16:48
Speaker 3: I was given gum as a gift and we should chew.
• 1:16:51
  Speaker 3: H's so beautiful.
• 1:16:54
Speaker 4: Okay, now I hear your teeth kind of getting remineralized.
• 1:16:58
Speaker 4: My teeth were remb that's what they said.
• 1:17:00
Speaker 3: Say it like minimal. They didn't know. I mean again,
• 1:17:06
Speaker 3: their teeth hadn means nothing, nothing means anything. Did they
• 1:17:10
Speaker 3: say what remineralized their teeth? The gum? Oh, the gum
• 1:17:13
Speaker 3: did right? And just any gum.
• 1:17:15
Speaker 4: No, it's a special gum that you look.
• 1:17:19
Speaker 3: Yes, wait, I'm not is that true? Yes?
• 1:17:24
  Speaker 2: What?
• 1:17:25
Speaker 3: Yes? People are morons? Absolutely close it all down. You
• 1:17:29
Speaker 3: should have to get a license to use the internet.
• 1:17:32
Speaker 4: I think this is this is something I truly believe.
• 1:17:35
Speaker 4: If you aren't going to use your government name and
• 1:17:38
Speaker 4: then post it all while, you shouldn't be allowed.
• 1:17:41
Speaker 3: Absolutely. Yeah, I mean that makes sense. Yeah, there should
• 1:17:45
  Speaker 3: be some accountability.
• 1:17:46
Speaker 4: There should be complete accountabilit You should.
• 1:17:49
Speaker 3: Have to government name and what you got on the
• 1:17:52
Speaker 3: act or SAT just to let people know who they're
• 1:17:55
  Speaker 3: dealing with.
• 1:17:56
Speaker 4: Absolutely, well, the people who don't have any like this
• 1:17:59
Speaker 4: is the this is the thing.
• 1:18:00
Speaker 3: We'd weed them out right away. We'd weed them out.
• 1:18:03
Speaker 4: Right away because you know who the worst people online
• 1:18:05
Speaker 4: are who they're under.
• 1:18:06
Speaker 3: The age of fifteen. They're very powerful.
• 1:18:11
Speaker 4: They're the most powerful people in America.
• 1:18:12
Speaker 3: They truly are because they're grew up on an iPad.
• 1:18:15
Speaker 3: They grew up on an iPad. They're extremely confident, and
• 1:18:19
  Speaker 3: they're stupid.
• 1:18:20
Speaker 4: This is the thing. When we I'm assuming we're about
• 1:18:24
  Speaker 4: the same age.
• 1:18:25
Speaker 3: I'm a twenty five, Yes, so you're speaking about me directly,
• 1:18:29
  Speaker 3: I get a bloody nose.
• 1:18:30
Speaker 4: Twenty Well, I've minimize them, so they're gonna be fine.
• 1:18:35
Speaker 4: I think that because of the Internet. Like when we
• 1:18:39
Speaker 4: were young, we are young. When we were younger, when
• 1:18:44
Speaker 4: we said something that was wrong, we were corrected immediately, immediately,
• 1:18:49
Speaker 4: like somebody smarter them, which made us feel like, Okay,
• 1:18:51
Speaker 4: if I'm going to say something, I should know something about.
• 1:18:54
Speaker 3: It, right like you do in the real world. Exactly.
• 1:18:56
Speaker 4: Well, on the in girl worlds, as they say, mean girls,
• 1:19:02
Speaker 4: you need to make a public statement about everything, and
• 1:19:05
Speaker 4: people are like you didn't really talk about this? Like what,
• 1:19:10
Speaker 4: no people didn't like it when we did The Black Box.
• 1:19:14
Speaker 4: They don't like, we have to listen to people. Why
• 1:19:16
Speaker 4: don't we stay listening to people?
• 1:19:19
Speaker 3: Like stop? No, you just have to march forward without
• 1:19:22
  Speaker 3: listening to anybody.
• 1:19:23
Speaker 4: And that's what a lot of people do, and they're
• 1:19:24
Speaker 4: really good at it, and some of them are successful.
• 1:19:26
Speaker 3: Oh, extremely successful. Do you know what I will say
• 1:19:29
Speaker 3: about teenagers right now? I used to be scared of
• 1:19:31
Speaker 3: teenagers because I was like, oh, they're cooler than me
• 1:19:33
Speaker 3: or they know something. In the last like three years,
• 1:19:35
  Speaker 3: I've become scared of them because they're there's a scary
• 1:19:38
Speaker 3: look in their eyes, especially teenage boys. There's a real
• 1:19:42
Speaker 3: like lacrosse sex predator looking almost everyone of their eyes
• 1:19:46
Speaker 3: at this point. Yes, I don't know what's happened. It's trendy,
• 1:19:49
Speaker 3: well Joe Rogan, Yes, but they've all been turned into
• 1:19:52
  Speaker 3: this death.
• 1:19:52
Speaker 4: This is the thing they're all. I truly believe that
• 1:19:56
Speaker 4: every they're all so easily swayed the other way. They
• 1:19:59
Speaker 4: could easily sway the other way, the wayward wind.
• 1:20:02
Speaker 3: But how do we get them? We just don't.
• 1:20:04
Speaker 4: You don't let them know that you're getting them.
• 1:20:05
Speaker 3: You have to shame them.
• 1:20:06
Speaker 4: Interesting They all have a kink shame. They all want
• 1:20:09
Speaker 4: to be everybody wants to be shamed.
• 1:20:11
Speaker 3: At some level. You want to be shamed.
• 1:20:13
Speaker 4: At the highest level I think. I think at the
• 1:20:18
Speaker 4: jujitsal level, it's like that how they want to be.
• 1:20:20
Speaker 3: We learned through shame.
• 1:20:21
Speaker 4: Absolutely, people do need to get bullied a little bit.
• 1:20:25
Speaker 3: I completely agree. I was bullied. I was bullied and
• 1:20:28
Speaker 3: I bullied right, and you're gonna bully me after this podcast.
• 1:20:33
Speaker 3: We're going to feel like shit and I want That's
• 1:20:35
Speaker 3: why I came here.
• 1:20:37
Speaker 4: But people are not not learning their lessons anymore.
• 1:20:40
Speaker 3: No, there's no I mean, there are so many lessons
• 1:20:42
Speaker 3: to learn and simply no one's standing up to anybody.
• 1:20:45
  Speaker 2: No.
• 1:20:45
Speaker 4: You know who taught me the Sherry Lewis taught me
• 1:20:47
Speaker 4: a lot of lessons.
• 1:20:49
Speaker 3: Classic bully sharing. Oh the biggest bully, Lamb Chop was
• 1:20:53
Speaker 3: kind of a bully I think because she was small.
• 1:20:57
Speaker 3: It came from insecurity. Absolutely.
• 1:20:59
Speaker 4: I have found her daughter on TikTok, which I like.
• 1:21:03
Speaker 3: Sherry Lewis has a daughter, Yeah, and she's half Lamb.
• 1:21:06
Speaker 3: Now could you imagine there were things going on on
• 1:21:10
Speaker 3: that s set. Yeah, what is her thing? Is she
• 1:21:14
  Speaker 3: an influencer.
• 1:21:15
Speaker 4: No, she's just sort of like kind of reliving her
• 1:21:17
  Speaker 4: mother's memory.
• 1:21:20
  Speaker 3: Goodness.
• 1:21:23
Speaker 4: I have said this once on a podcast before, so
• 1:21:26
Speaker 4: I really hope. Well it does bear repeating, so I'll
• 1:21:28
Speaker 4: say it again. When Cherry Lewis died, I did set
• 1:21:32
Speaker 4: up like a shrine of lambtop things on the room.
• 1:21:35
Speaker 3: Oh that's so sweet. Do you have a lamb chop stall?
• 1:21:40
Speaker 3: I did, okay, and like a Charlie Horse. Was that
• 1:21:43
Speaker 3: one of them I had? Well, I didn't really kind
• 1:21:45
Speaker 3: of do it well.
• 1:21:46
Speaker 4: He was a side character, yeah, but he had that
• 1:21:49
Speaker 4: kind of lacrosse is.
• 1:21:50
Speaker 3: Yeah, completely. He was kind of the prototype.
• 1:21:53
Speaker 4: Yes, but yeah I had. I had a pillow that
• 1:21:56
Speaker 4: I remember that when I was five years old I
• 1:21:58
Speaker 4: threw up on because my appendix structure.
• 1:22:00
Speaker 3: Oh my god, you're appendix ruptured at five. It really
• 1:22:04
Speaker 3: wasn't in for the long call.
• 1:22:06
Speaker 4: No, No, it actually was kind of in and out.
• 1:22:08
  Speaker 3: I'm out of here. Yeah, I gotta go. I can't
• 1:22:11
  Speaker 3: do this planet.
• 1:22:12
Speaker 4: But it does save you some weight. It was a
• 1:22:14
Speaker 4: good way. I was already concerned about it at five.
• 1:22:17
Speaker 3: So how much does an appendix? Way too much? She
• 1:22:19
Speaker 3: probably lost a great percentage of weight as a five
• 1:22:21
Speaker 3: year old. Absolutely, you're like, wow, I really slim down
• 1:22:24
  Speaker 3: this call.
• 1:22:25
Speaker 4: My BMI is looking amazing. They're like, you're in five
• 1:22:28
  Speaker 4: years old.
• 1:22:29
Speaker 3: You just lost an organ. Yeah. So, Say Lewis's daughter
• 1:22:35
Speaker 3: is on TikTok selling all kinds of things. She has
• 1:22:38
  Speaker 3: her own tictalk.
• 1:22:39
Speaker 4: She hasn't sold anything, right, she's just kind of selling
• 1:22:42
  Speaker 4: the American dream.
• 1:22:43
Speaker 3: Oh is there any like Oh, politically this could get dicey. No,
• 1:22:48
Speaker 3: except for the red hair. Oh interesting, if you like glanced,
• 1:22:52
Speaker 3: you would say, is she wearing a red hat?
• 1:22:54
  Speaker 1: Maybe?
• 1:22:55
Speaker 4: And I really I feel like that. The tone I'm
• 1:22:58
Speaker 4: taking is like I'm talking down to her, I'm looking.
• 1:23:00
Speaker 3: Up to her. She sounds like she's doing she's doing great,
• 1:23:03
  Speaker 3: she's doing pure.
• 1:23:04
Speaker 4: Yes, she's doing what you'd want Cherry Lewis's daughter to
• 1:23:07
Speaker 4: do on TikTok. She's doing it right, and she's spreading
• 1:23:10
  Speaker 4: positive message.
• 1:23:11
Speaker 3: It's lovely. Yeah, thank god Cherry didn't live to see TikTok.
• 1:23:15
Speaker 3: I think she would have liked it.
• 1:23:16
Speaker 4: Actually, she's a kind of Republican code Cherry Lewis. Oh,
• 1:23:21
Speaker 4: I don't want to know this well, And I only
• 1:23:23
Speaker 4: say that because it's sort of like off brand Sesame Street.
• 1:23:26
Speaker 3: Oh wow, I've never really put did she start lamb chomps?
• 1:23:29
Speaker 3: Because she's like Sesame Street is getting too political. They've
• 1:23:34
Speaker 3: got someone who lives in a garbage can.
• 1:23:37
Speaker 4: I think maybe? Oh no, I have no idea.
• 1:23:40
Speaker 3: No, Sherry was a hard leftist.
• 1:23:43
Speaker 4: Yes, I want to believe that. Yes, I want to
• 1:23:46
  Speaker 4: believe that.
• 1:23:47
Speaker 3: Yes. I mean she had the animals coming together.
• 1:23:49
Speaker 4: And they had that song that Never ended all right.
• 1:23:52
Speaker 3: Which is kind of an equality message, enough song for everyone.
• 1:23:58
Speaker 4: Yes, that was sort of the drive force behind the
• 1:24:01
Speaker 4: song that Never ends.
• 1:24:02
Speaker 3: Good for her from essentially leaving a curse on earth
• 1:24:05
Speaker 3: with that song, she left something. She left a daughter
• 1:24:07
Speaker 3: and a curse. Well, I think it's time to play
• 1:24:12
Speaker 3: a game. I agree. I think let's play Gift Master today. Actually,
• 1:24:17
  Speaker 3: we haven't played this in a while. I need a
• 1:24:19
Speaker 3: number between one and ten from you. Eight. Okay. Actually
• 1:24:22
Speaker 3: I'm switching my mind. I want to play gift or
• 1:24:24
Speaker 3: a Curse, but I'll still use the same number. Okay,
• 1:24:27
Speaker 3: I have to do some light calcul Oh wait, if.
• 1:24:28
Speaker 4: It's a different game, I need to give a different number.
• 1:24:30
Speaker 3: Okay, I do need a different number for me. What
• 1:24:31
Speaker 3: number would two two? Oh a perfect number for this.
• 1:24:36
Speaker 3: I need to do some light calculating to get our
• 1:24:38
Speaker 3: game pieces. Okay, so you can recommend, promote, do whatever
• 1:24:41
Speaker 3: you want. I'll be right back.
• 1:24:42
Speaker 4: Okay, great, I don't have anything to promote, actually, but
• 1:24:46
Speaker 4: you can follow me on Instagram and you can go
• 1:24:49
Speaker 4: to my medical spot when it opens. And because they
• 1:24:52
Speaker 4: don't have any sort of medical credentials, I won't be
• 1:24:54
Speaker 4: performing any of the services, which is a good thing,
• 1:24:58
Speaker 4: and it is the right thing.
• 1:25:02
Speaker 3: Okay, that's great. I believe in Utah you don't have
• 1:25:05
Speaker 3: to have a license to do, to drive, to do
• 1:25:08
Speaker 3: anything at all. No, to drive, you don't need it. No,
• 1:25:13
Speaker 3: there's that. I don't know if you watch Housewives of
• 1:25:14
Speaker 3: Salt Lake City, but one of them owns the Beauty
• 1:25:16
Speaker 3: Lab and Laser. Oh Gay, right? You think her name's Gay? No,
• 1:25:22
Speaker 3: Meredith Gay. I don't watch Whitney Whitney Whitney Gay.
• 1:25:27
Speaker 4: Is that her last name. One of them owns a
• 1:25:30
  Speaker 4: medical spot.
• 1:25:30
Speaker 3: Correct, Yes, a successful medical spot called Beauty Lab and Laser.
• 1:25:34
Speaker 3: And I've been there multiple times. I've never gotten a treatment.
• 1:25:37
Speaker 4: Just when got a picture, well, you get a mint
• 1:25:39
  Speaker 4: at the front.
• 1:25:40
Speaker 3: They don't even give you a mint. Come on, Beauty Lab,
• 1:25:43
Speaker 3: I know you're listening. Put some pillow mints up there
• 1:25:46
Speaker 3: for people to get.
• 1:25:47
Speaker 4: For passerbys, for me when you're taking your eight flights
• 1:25:52
  Speaker 4: in New York.
• 1:25:54
Speaker 3: Give I need a lunch, my mint lunch. Okay, we've
• 1:26:01
Speaker 3: got to stay on task here. I can't get us off.
• 1:26:04
Speaker 3: I'm gonna name three things. Okay, you're gonna tell me
• 1:26:06
Speaker 3: if there are a gift or a curse and why. Oh,
• 1:26:08
Speaker 3: but I'll tell you if you're right or wrong, because
• 1:26:10
Speaker 3: there are correct answers. Yes, my very clear, very crystal
• 1:26:15
Speaker 3: number one curse, and I'll tell you why. Okay, I'm ready.
• 1:26:22
Speaker 3: I'm so sorry. This is from a listener named Kristen.
• 1:26:25
Speaker 3: Gift or a curse unscented lotion curse?
• 1:26:29
Speaker 4: Why because the way lotion was developed. It was developed
• 1:26:34
Speaker 4: because the scent is sort of the best part about it.
• 1:26:38
Speaker 4: Otherwise it's just goop, right, And I understand that the
• 1:26:43
Speaker 4: lotion does serve a purpose of sort of moisturizing the skin,
• 1:26:47
Speaker 4: but it comes at a great cost. And the great
• 1:26:50
Speaker 4: cost is that it feels awful and it feels like goop.
• 1:26:56
Speaker 4: And I think that the only way to kind of
• 1:27:00
Speaker 4: counteract the kind of glop is the scent. Now, the
• 1:27:05
Speaker 4: scentse do come in kind of different tiers of what's
• 1:27:08
Speaker 4: sort of acceptable and not. And I think your kind
• 1:27:12
Speaker 4: of middle ground is coconut, which is polarizing because it
• 1:27:16
Speaker 4: does sort of go vacation but swears very hard to
• 1:27:20
  Speaker 4: suntan lotion.
• 1:27:21
  Speaker 2: Right.
• 1:27:21
Speaker 3: People are smelling the beach, people are smelling the pool.
• 1:27:24
Speaker 4: Yes, but I think your higher tier are your sort
• 1:27:27
Speaker 4: of special flavors are like your florals.
• 1:27:31
Speaker 3: Your sun florals are good. Sure, sure, and that's the
• 1:27:36
Speaker 3: correct answer. Wrong, whoh oh, you don't get the point
• 1:27:41
Speaker 3: unscented lotion. If I put on a scented lotion, I
• 1:27:43
Speaker 3: immediately think I am not being and I as you know,
• 1:27:46
Speaker 3: your business is just about to blossom and we don't
• 1:27:49
Speaker 3: do lotions, so I'm not But I need you to
• 1:27:51
Speaker 3: be more of an expert on this head. Okay, when
• 1:27:55
  Speaker 3: I put on a scented lotion, I know I'm not
• 1:27:57
Speaker 3: getting the moisture I need. I'm putting on a thick perfume.
• 1:28:01
Speaker 3: I do not want. What's wrong with that? If I
• 1:28:04
Speaker 3: wanted perfume, I would do a light spritzer.
• 1:28:06
Speaker 4: Well, do you know that the oils from the lotion
• 1:28:08
Speaker 4: helped the scent state longer.
• 1:28:11
Speaker 3: I learned that on TikTok.
• 1:28:12
  Speaker 4: You'll never guess what I learned. So I'm listening, I'm
• 1:28:16
  Speaker 4: just not hearing.
• 1:28:18
Speaker 3: You know, when I'm at a hotel or at somewhere
• 1:28:21
Speaker 3: that supplies a lotion, I know I'm in immediate danger
• 1:28:24
  Speaker 3: because I know it's going to have a smell. It'll
• 1:28:26
Speaker 3: be a floral smell. I'll put it on and it's
• 1:28:28
Speaker 3: essentially somewhere between water and gak and uh popery. None
• 1:28:34
Speaker 3: of those things is doing what it needs to moisturize
• 1:28:37
  Speaker 3: my body.
• 1:28:38
Speaker 4: And so popery the famous moistureiss.
• 1:28:42
Speaker 3: I'm rubbing into my skin, just dust all over my body.
• 1:28:46
Speaker 4: Pine Combe, just crack foliator.
• 1:28:50
Speaker 3: That's not a bad idea. Now again, I could be
• 1:28:53
Speaker 3: an early investor after cutting the rim.
• 1:28:55
Speaker 4: It's like an African net sponge. It's a pine cone?
• 1:28:58
Speaker 3: Is that a real thing? An African nut sponge? Net
• 1:29:02
Speaker 3: net sponge? Sorry, did you not understand my accent? My
• 1:29:05
Speaker 3: accent when said African net sponge? Net sponge? Is that
• 1:29:10
Speaker 3: anything like a loofa?
• 1:29:12
Speaker 4: It's well, a loofah is sort of like what white
• 1:29:14
Speaker 4: people started to do when we stopped using the washcloth,
• 1:29:17
Speaker 4: which I never I will not do.
• 1:29:21
  Speaker 3: I've never started.
• 1:29:22
Speaker 4: Well, then maybe that's the reason the lotions are so irritating,
• 1:29:25
Speaker 4: is that you're not kind of scrubbing off the top layer.
• 1:29:28
Speaker 3: I'm using the lufa.
• 1:29:30
Speaker 4: Oh boy, that is that's sort of like a disease
• 1:29:35
Speaker 4: waiting to happen. I think the loofa is so the
• 1:29:39
Speaker 4: net sponge is in essence to break it down. Is
• 1:29:42
Speaker 4: like the loofa if it weren't sewn together. Oh so,
• 1:29:46
Speaker 4: it's like just like like miles and miles of tool
• 1:29:49
  Speaker 4: like tools tools.
• 1:29:51
Speaker 3: Not a bad idea for a shower tool, No, absolutely
• 1:29:55
Speaker 3: not a beautiful tool hanging from the side of your shoes.
• 1:29:57
Speaker 4: I'm distracting you because I'm still not kind of understanding
• 1:30:01
Speaker 4: you're in immediate danger.
• 1:30:02
Speaker 3: You're at an hi e holiday and excented lotion, and
• 1:30:07
Speaker 3: we all have to start with an unscented lotion. I understand,
• 1:30:09
Speaker 3: what do you stink and you want to smell it
• 1:30:11
Speaker 3: up with your roses or your sandal woods, But that
• 1:30:13
Speaker 3: should come as a second layer to the medically dermatology prescribed.
• 1:30:20
Speaker 3: They don't sense unscented lotion. Is a gift. It's a base,
• 1:30:26
  Speaker 3: it's a foundation.
• 1:30:27
Speaker 4: What lotion are you using? Vanny cream?
• 1:30:31
  Speaker 2: What is it?
• 1:30:32
Speaker 3: I mean, I'm going to say that you're scream a veno? No,
• 1:30:36
  Speaker 3: that's fine.
• 1:30:36
Speaker 4: I Jennifer Aniston has been using it for years. You
• 1:30:41
Speaker 4: know she's bathing in Yeah, veno and like a vat,
• 1:30:44
Speaker 4: Yes of a veno? Yes, No, I'm hey, listen, I'm not.
• 1:30:48
Speaker 4: I don't believe in expensive products.
• 1:30:51
Speaker 3: Oh a lot of it's I mean, it is a scam,
• 1:30:53
Speaker 3: so much of us. Listen.
• 1:30:54
Speaker 4: There's only two different tiers of products, well three free.
• 1:30:59
Speaker 3: Uh, over the counter and prescription. Yes, And the only thing.
• 1:31:03
Speaker 4: That works are prescriptions and procedures. So I'm sorry if
• 1:31:06
Speaker 4: you got it over the counter, lemaire I was used to.
• 1:31:09
Speaker 3: Here's in a mall, kiosk. Stop it.
• 1:31:12
Speaker 4: It's in a glass container, you fucking fool. There's mineral
• 1:31:15
Speaker 4: oil as the first ingredient.
• 1:31:17
Speaker 3: It's oil. It's all the oil, grease, it's grease, butter,
• 1:31:20
Speaker 3: it's goop, exactly what I've been saying. But it's scented, right,
• 1:31:24
Speaker 3: and people fall for and it's French, yes, or at
• 1:31:26
Speaker 3: least the name is all right. I'm sorry that I
• 1:31:29
Speaker 3: got that you got it wrong, but don't let that
• 1:31:31
Speaker 3: shake your confidence too much.
• 1:31:33
Speaker 4: It hasn't at all. Actually, it's only kind of embolden me.
• 1:31:37
Speaker 3: I'm ready, okay. The second one is from somebody named
• 1:31:40
Speaker 3: Olie Gift to a curse, joking to your waiter at
• 1:31:43
Speaker 3: a restaurant that you did not like a dish that
• 1:31:45
Speaker 3: you've clearly just devoured. Absolutely, that's a curse.
• 1:31:48
Speaker 4: Why that is the lowest tier of comedy available of
• 1:31:53
Speaker 4: going well, I hated it, and then pushing the clean
• 1:31:57
  Speaker 4: plate back.
• 1:31:59
  Speaker 3: To the waiter.
• 1:32:00
Speaker 4: Oh my god, that is like that for me. When
• 1:32:03
Speaker 4: I think of that, I think of David and Goliath.
• 1:32:06
Speaker 4: I am David and I'm taking the sling shot right
• 1:32:09
Speaker 4: to the head, and I'm dead and I want and
• 1:32:12
  Speaker 4: I want everyone dead. It's I don't, I've it's so terrible.
• 1:32:16
Speaker 4: If it's been done before, if the joke in the
• 1:32:18
Speaker 4: bit has been done before, I think maybe let's put
• 1:32:22
  Speaker 4: it to rest.
• 1:32:25
Speaker 3: You are correct, it's a curse. And I'm looking at
• 1:32:29
Speaker 3: this from the waiter's perspective. This poor person is just
• 1:32:31
Speaker 3: trying to do their job, and part of that is
• 1:32:34
Speaker 3: acting like they enjoy your company. And you're pushing it
• 1:32:38
Speaker 3: to the limit by telling them that a joke, a
• 1:32:40
Speaker 3: joke that they have heard a billion times.
• 1:32:43
Speaker 4: Right, this person should not be subjected to your open mic.
• 1:32:47
Speaker 4: I have actually wait, I'm going to say something. I'm
• 1:32:50
Speaker 4: going to give it a disclaimer to that.
• 1:32:51
Speaker 3: Okay, let's hear it.
• 1:32:52
Speaker 4: I think it's okay if somebody says that joke ironically.
• 1:32:55
Speaker 3: But if they say it, but I mean, there's it's
• 1:32:58
Speaker 3: too quick of an interaction to deal with irony and
• 1:33:00
  Speaker 3: all of this.
• 1:33:01
Speaker 4: Waiter prompts you with a let me guess you didn't
• 1:33:04
Speaker 4: like it, then you can hit them with a yeah,
• 1:33:07
  Speaker 4: I hated it. And it's a quick there's there's it's harmless.
• 1:33:11
  Speaker 4: It's a harmless interaction. But I also now I'm on
• 1:33:14
Speaker 4: your side of it being a curse. But if the
• 1:33:17
Speaker 4: but I really do feel for the table, right, how shameful?
• 1:33:22
Speaker 3: Oh so embarrassing, embarrassing never returning to the restaurant with
• 1:33:26
Speaker 3: that person. At least no, no, no, no, they've been
• 1:33:28
Speaker 3: excommunicated from the group. That's goodbye. I will work to
• 1:33:33
Speaker 3: have them banned. Oh yeah, yeah, it's a complete curse.
• 1:33:36
Speaker 3: And yeah, I think at least letting the waiter be
• 1:33:38
Speaker 3: in control of this dynamic. They should be in control
• 1:33:41
Speaker 3: of everything of the country. Yes, I actually kind of
• 1:33:45
Speaker 3: believe that. Okay, so you've gotten one so far, and
• 1:33:49
Speaker 3: this is the final one. This is from somebody named
• 1:33:51
Speaker 3: Mariss gift or a curse writing no caption needed as
• 1:33:55
  Speaker 3: your caption to a picture online, there's a it's a two.
• 1:34:02
Speaker 4: It's a double edged sword because it's a curse to you,
• 1:34:05
Speaker 4: and it's a gift to me because I know now.
• 1:34:08
Speaker 4: And the gift is I know to avoid you, and
• 1:34:11
Speaker 4: the curse is you have no original thoughts of your own.
• 1:34:17
Speaker 3: No caption needed. I did a thing. I did a thing.
• 1:34:23
Speaker 3: Can I just a slight detour? Please? Slight? We haven't
• 1:34:27
Speaker 3: taken any Yeah. Have you seen the documentary about the
• 1:34:30
Speaker 3: Gray's Anatomy liar, the writer that was lying about her
• 1:34:33
Speaker 3: entire life? Oh no, oh, you have to see it.
• 1:34:37
Speaker 3: It is fascinating. She lied about literally any traumatic event
• 1:34:41
Speaker 3: you can imagine. She lied about having it from cancer
• 1:34:44
Speaker 3: to having somebody die in a mass shooting. And her
• 1:34:49
Speaker 3: name is Rachel Dolza. I mean she's kind of the
• 1:34:52
Speaker 3: Rachel of the of Medical of Grey's anatom Yeah, but
• 1:34:56
Speaker 3: I think they show a screenshot of something she did
• 1:34:59
Speaker 3: that I think was the biggest red flag possible. I
• 1:35:02
Speaker 3: think it may have been her first her the first
• 1:35:04
Speaker 3: episode she wrote of Gray's Anatomy or something, and she
• 1:35:06
Speaker 3: got on Twitter and the first sentence of this tweet.
• 1:35:10
Speaker 4: Is my nails are like in my palms, they're like bleeding.
• 1:35:12
Speaker 3: Uh huh. I did a thing. Period. That's or maybe
• 1:35:20
Speaker 3: it was I wrote a thing. Either way, if I
• 1:35:23
Speaker 3: had been one of her co workers, I would have
• 1:35:25
Speaker 3: started telling everyone there's something going with Elizabeth. Yeah, let's
• 1:35:29
Speaker 3: let's figure this out, because this could be uh rape
• 1:35:32
Speaker 3: Fanny fast going off. I pull it. The fire alarm
• 1:35:36
Speaker 3: is off. Absolutely, really I did. I wrote a thing.
• 1:35:39
Speaker 3: It doesn't matter either, it doesn't matter what the verb
• 1:35:41
Speaker 3: is there. It's the most insane thing you could possibly write.
• 1:35:44
Speaker 3: And then, as a professional writer, this person, I mean
• 1:35:47
Speaker 3: like every element of it was like this.
• 1:35:48
Speaker 4: Person like your poetic license should be revoked. Absolutely, that's crazy.
• 1:35:56
Speaker 3: Your is a curse. Yeah, it's a curse. Yeah, And okay,
• 1:36:00
Speaker 3: so you're saying, but you're saying, no caption needed is
• 1:36:02
Speaker 3: a gift to you which you have to pick one
• 1:36:04
Speaker 3: side or the other. Oh curse.
• 1:36:06
Speaker 4: Okay, I'm seeing like that that the silver lining is
• 1:36:09
Speaker 4: the gift of that, like I know to just avoid
• 1:36:12
Speaker 4: this person at all costs, right right.
• 1:36:15
Speaker 3: Unfortunately, you do not get the point it's a gift
• 1:36:19
Speaker 3: for reasons that you did outline. Oh okay, I mean
• 1:36:22
Speaker 3: my finger is floating over mute at all times. The
• 1:36:26
Speaker 3: list of people I've.
• 1:36:27
Speaker 4: Muted at this point, I've never muted anyone. Do you
• 1:36:30
Speaker 4: unfollow No, I kind of suffer you just deal with it, well,
• 1:36:33
Speaker 4: because I have to know what the other ninety nine
• 1:36:36
Speaker 4: percent thing, you know.
• 1:36:39
Speaker 3: I do have a few of those in my feed
• 1:36:40
Speaker 3: where I'm like, I got to keep an eye.
• 1:36:42
Speaker 4: I have to keep There are some people that I
• 1:36:44
Speaker 4: have that I have not unfollowed because I'm keeping tabs
• 1:36:47
Speaker 4: on them because you can learn, you can grow. Because
• 1:36:50
Speaker 4: I know the FBI is going to contact me and
• 1:36:52
Speaker 4: go where what were they doing? And that I can
• 1:36:54
Speaker 4: have the keys to kind of get them thrown into jail.
• 1:36:57
Speaker 4: I know that, and so I know that I have
• 1:36:59
Speaker 4: a kind of social and moral obligation to keep tabs
• 1:37:03
  Speaker 4: on these people.
• 1:37:04
Speaker 3: Yeah, you say, here's a screenshot I wrote a thing exactly.
• 1:37:06
  Speaker 3: Lock her up.
• 1:37:07
Speaker 4: Boy, she can't be trusted. She can't be trusted at all,
• 1:37:11
Speaker 4: and they're like, what that was? Ryan Murphy.
• 1:37:14
Speaker 3: Throw them in. Ryan Murphy gets on Twitter and says,
• 1:37:17
  Speaker 3: I wrote it. I wrote a thing. That's all I
• 1:37:20
Speaker 3: want in the world. We're getting there, Ryan, reach out.
• 1:37:24
Speaker 3: Well you got one out of three okay, bad, not good,
• 1:37:28
Speaker 3: not good, but room to grow, room to learn, and
• 1:37:31
Speaker 3: that's all we want out of anyone on this podcast.
• 1:37:35
Speaker 3: This is the final segment. This is called they said
• 1:37:37
Speaker 3: no emails people write into I said, no gifts at
• 1:37:39
Speaker 3: gmail dot com begging for answers. That's all you need
• 1:37:42
Speaker 3: to know. Can you hope me answer a question? Please? Okay,
• 1:37:45
Speaker 3: let me get into the doc. Okay, this says dear guest. Now,
• 1:37:52
Speaker 3: I mean they usually say dear Bridger and guests, so
• 1:37:54
Speaker 3: this is it sounds like this is can I see
• 1:37:56
Speaker 3: the laptop? It's for me? No, No, that's for me, actually,
• 1:38:00
Speaker 3: dear guest. I mean I feel Look, I'm a sensitive person,
• 1:38:04
  Speaker 3: so I'm a little shaken.
• 1:38:06
  Speaker 2: Right.
• 1:38:07
Speaker 3: That's dear Guests and specifically not Bridger. Okay. It says
• 1:38:13
Speaker 3: every year my family asks for a list of things
• 1:38:16
Speaker 3: each family member would like for Christmas, and it always
• 1:38:19
Speaker 3: feels very impersonal not much thought is put into the
• 1:38:22
Speaker 3: gifts besides picking something to buy from said list, and
• 1:38:25
Speaker 3: it feels more like an obligation. This year, I want
• 1:38:29
Speaker 3: to approach the holidays differently and move away from capitalist
• 1:38:32
Speaker 3: gift giving. I'm twenty seven, and while there is many
• 1:38:35
Speaker 3: a thing I would like to get, I feel the
• 1:38:37
Speaker 3: money spent on gifts could go to better causes like charities.
• 1:38:41
Speaker 3: How can I convince my family to put their money
• 1:38:44
Speaker 3: to better use so we can all be more altruistic
• 1:38:46
Speaker 3: this upcoming holiday season? Yours truly, Lauren in Durham, And again,
• 1:38:54
Speaker 3: I guess you will have to start. I'm happy to
• 1:38:57
Speaker 3: provide some information, but Lauren has specifically asked just for yours,
• 1:39:01
Speaker 3: at least initially. I Lauren from Durham.
• 1:39:07
Speaker 4: I I like where your heart is at. I think
• 1:39:11
Speaker 4: kind of suck it up, Buttercup.
• 1:39:13
  Speaker 3: Listen and I don't.

Speaker 4: I don't, I don't know you Wait wait wait, wait wait,
• 1:39:16
Speaker 4: Lauren lor Lauren, back up, edit this out, no keep it?
• 1:39:19
Speaker 4: And I want her to note my inner thoughts. I
• 1:39:23
Speaker 4: think that what I mean, what do you want?
• 1:39:27
Speaker 3: What do you want?
• 1:39:28
  Speaker 4: Like?
• 1:39:29
Speaker 3: What do you want? I understand?
• 1:39:30
Speaker 4: And I'm gonna say this Lauren, I'm gonna I'm iye
• 1:39:34
Speaker 4: to eye with you right now. I don't like gifts
• 1:39:38
Speaker 4: either one because a lot of it is just people
• 1:39:41
Speaker 4: just give you junk to be like I got you junk.
• 1:39:44
Speaker 3: I'm familiar as you have.
• 1:39:48
Speaker 4: Open packets of try to and Korean sheet masks in
• 1:39:53
  Speaker 4: front of you.
• 1:39:53
Speaker 3: But you'll use this will be using and that doesn't
• 1:39:56
Speaker 3: take up real estate. They will eventually get to be
• 1:39:58
Speaker 3: thrown away, right and you because you were made into
• 1:40:02
Speaker 3: a quilt or something. Yes, yes, yes, so.
• 1:40:05
  Speaker 4: I'm with you where it's just like we don't I
• 1:40:07
Speaker 4: don't need this. I don't need you to go to
• 1:40:10
Speaker 4: the sharper image and get me like, but it's a wire,
• 1:40:14
Speaker 4: it keeps on your wires together. I don't I'm with you.
• 1:40:18
  Speaker 3: I don't need that.
• 1:40:20
Speaker 4: But listen, your family, your parents, they don't have much
• 1:40:25
Speaker 4: time left, and I just sort of think you have
• 1:40:29
Speaker 4: to kind of like let them do what they want
• 1:40:31
  Speaker 4: to do.
• 1:40:33
Speaker 3: Is kind of Lauren. Your family's about to say Lauren
• 1:40:36
Speaker 3: is a kill joy. She's just making Christmas so boring. Yes, look,
• 1:40:43
Speaker 3: maybe you do a combination.
• 1:40:45
Speaker 4: I think that's what I was just going to say,
• 1:40:47
Speaker 4: a hybrid. Let's say, let's put a price limit on it.
• 1:40:49
Speaker 3: Yes, price limit. Start from there, and then I'm going
• 1:40:52
Speaker 3: to give someone the gift of love, friendship.
• 1:40:57
  Speaker 4: Love's people go, here's a gift, and it's like the
• 1:41:02
Speaker 4: receipt for like I donated to the zoo, Yes, right, Yes,
• 1:41:07
Speaker 4: my favorite charity the zoo, the Detroit Zoo.
• 1:41:11
Speaker 3: Yes, have a beautiful water feature.
• 1:41:14
Speaker 4: Yeah, they do so much for the community question mark. Yeah,
• 1:41:17
  Speaker 4: I love them.
• 1:41:19
Speaker 3: Yeah, so donate to the zoo. Yeah. I think a
• 1:41:22
Speaker 3: hybrid where you maybe you do the list of things
• 1:41:24
Speaker 3: you want and then a list of potential charities, or say,
• 1:41:27
Speaker 3: maybe we limit it to small businesses. We can only
• 1:41:30
Speaker 3: buy each other things from local small business.
• 1:41:32
Speaker 4: Yes, or you know how like in the campaign when
• 1:41:35
Speaker 4: you buy like campaign merchants actually like a donation to
• 1:41:37
  Speaker 4: the campaign?
• 1:41:38
Speaker 3: Do they have that for charities? Oh? Probably right? Do
• 1:41:42
Speaker 3: them oversized t shirt? Yes, I'll fit a tote bag hat.
• 1:41:46
Speaker 3: Everyone needs a tote bag and an ill fitting hat.
• 1:41:49
Speaker 3: Water bottle, Oh my god, I could use another, a
• 1:41:52
Speaker 3: keychain do that? That's not ask for that?
• 1:41:55
Speaker 4: Why don't you be the change you want to see
• 1:41:57
Speaker 4: in the world and ask for literally your donat the
• 1:42:00
Speaker 4: donation and then your.
• 1:42:01
Speaker 3: Family members may follow your lead unless you're the one
• 1:42:05
Speaker 3: that they don't like already. Well, here's the thing it
• 1:42:06
  Speaker 3: would be.
• 1:42:06
Speaker 4: It's gonna be so self righteous that you show up
• 1:42:10
Speaker 4: to Christmas and somebody's like, I got a Nintendo DS,
• 1:42:13
Speaker 4: and then another person is like, I got a seventy
• 1:42:15
Speaker 4: four inch TV, and you turn to them with a
• 1:42:18
Speaker 4: little envelope and go I asked mother and father to
• 1:42:23
Speaker 4: donate to the Little Sisters of the Poor. You selfish bit.
• 1:42:29
Speaker 3: I'd love to be playing Mario right now, but I
• 1:42:32
Speaker 3: have to contact the Little Sisters of the Poor. Maybe
• 1:42:36
Speaker 3: sometime you can show me a TV show because I
• 1:42:39
Speaker 3: donated mine and I don't have nothing. Can I get
• 1:42:45
Speaker 3: a ride home? Lauren, You're so lucky that I even
• 1:42:50
Speaker 3: chipped in here. I mean, I had no reason to
• 1:42:52
Speaker 3: give you any advice. I'm so rude. Don't write back in.
• 1:42:55
  Speaker 3: It was crazy.
• 1:42:57
Speaker 4: She and you know what, for someone who didn't want anything,
• 1:42:59
Speaker 4: she did kind of want our time.
• 1:43:00
Speaker 3: She wanted attention. She obviously wanted to be seen as
• 1:43:03
Speaker 3: a good person, which she clearly isn't. No, she listens
• 1:43:06
Speaker 3: to this podcast, She's a rotten egg. No bad news, Lauren. Sorry,
• 1:43:13
Speaker 3: Merry Christmas, Happy holidays. Your family is going to be pissed. Well,
• 1:43:18
Speaker 3: we answered it perfectly, absolutely perfectly, And now I've got
• 1:43:21
Speaker 3: gum for days. This can go in my car. I
• 1:43:24
Speaker 3: won't go in my bags.
• 1:43:25
  Speaker 4: It'll molk gry.
• 1:43:26
Speaker 3: Yes, oh it'll go with my freezer. Oh yeah, please
• 1:43:30
  Speaker 3: beg your freezer. It'll melt. That's a new trend I
• 1:43:33
Speaker 3: got that could start dry yogurt kind of like I
• 1:43:37
Speaker 3: just its like nobody carring, nobody cares about, like your
• 1:43:41
Speaker 3: gut floor and anymore. No, no, no, no, no, no,
• 1:43:43
Speaker 3: no one cares. Let it die, no, let it die.
• 1:43:48
Speaker 3: No awful? Oh on, at least we forgot to play
• 1:43:52
Speaker 3: your version of Gift a Curse today. But I think
• 1:43:53
Speaker 3: we've gone. We've probably got enough audio here. We'll play
• 1:43:56
Speaker 3: it another time. We have two hours. I couldn't.
• 1:43:59
Speaker 4: It's my it's my fault that this went so long.
• 1:44:01
  Speaker 4: I didn't stop.
• 1:44:02
Speaker 3: Adam called me before the show and said, don't let
• 1:44:03
Speaker 3: on Alis, do think of your coast today. I can't.
• 1:44:07
Speaker 3: I don't have the strength or the patient. Now is
• 1:44:09
Speaker 3: Adam undermining you? Is it me? Or is it Adam?
• 1:44:12
Speaker 3: It's everyone. I can't trust anyone in my life of thinking.
• 1:44:17
Speaker 4: If you were sick, you've sort of been around him,
• 1:44:21
Speaker 4: so there's bound to be a fuel share of I'm
• 1:44:24
  Speaker 4: looking for a room. That's what I'm saying, and I

• 1:44:37
Speaker 3: to have all of the damage fixed after this causes
• 1:44:40
Speaker 3: perfect yes, uh scarring. That's how we go. This is
• 1:44:44
Speaker 3: how you get people in.
• 1:44:45
Speaker 4: You create the problem, and then you solve it by
• 1:44:47
Speaker 4: creating a new problem.
• 1:44:49
