- 1:27Speaker 3: the air Whistle. So yeah, it's too bad, but what
- 1:31Speaker 3: did you expect?
- 1:32Speaker 2: It's a podcast called twenty five Whistles twenty.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Line Bring you a whistle?
- 1:38Speaker 3: Oh I forgot my whistle?
- 1:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Well, we're in a new studio today. We're in what
- 1:42Speaker 1: will be our new studio, and we drove across town fast. Yeah,
- 1:48Speaker 1: and so Mike, you have one sure, go ahead? All right,
- 1:52Speaker 1: thank you very much. We do have coach Clarkley coming up.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Vanderbilt huge win over Alabama. It's crazy. I did not.
- 2:00Speaker 1: I'ma be honest with you. Obviously, I was dreaming for
- 2:02Speaker 1: Vanderbilt to win the game America was but for insurance
- 2:05Speaker 1: in case I was sad, I took the Alabama money
- 2:08Speaker 1: line for a couple hundred bucks oh when they were
- 2:11Speaker 1: down at half by far because.
- 2:12Speaker 3: That's what they normally do.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I was like, I was like, I'm gonna win either way. Yeah,
- 2:17Speaker 1: because if Alabama comes back and wins, then I'll win
- 2:20Speaker 1: like four or five hundred bucks on two dollar bet.
- 2:23Speaker 1: But I would rather Vanderbilt win. But that was my insurance.
- 2:27Speaker 1: So it was awesome. It was an awesome game, and it
- 2:29Speaker 1: really wasn't over until the very end. I probably watched
- 2:34Speaker 1: they started popping up on ESPN the eyeball emojis too early,
- 2:38Speaker 1: like in the first half, and they were like, uh, oh,
- 2:41Speaker 1: Vandy's up on and I was like yes because I
- 2:44Speaker 1: was like, oh wow, where is it And it was
- 2:45Speaker 1: like early second quarter and I was like, ah, too
- 2:48Speaker 1: early to be doing the eyes. So halftime came, was
- 2:52Speaker 1: flipping a little back and forth. Then I just committed
- 2:55Speaker 1: and it was awesome. So Coach Clarke Lee coming up
- 2:56Speaker 1: in a little bit, and Coach Lee did a lie
- 3:00Speaker 1: show with me, one of my comedically inspiration on one
- 3:02Speaker 1: of my early shows. He came and sat on stage
- 3:04Speaker 1: and we did a whole thirty forty five minute Q
- 3:06Speaker 1: and A. Then we did too much access, like we've
- 3:08Speaker 1: got to know coach a little bit. Awesome, dude, serious, dude,
- 3:11Speaker 1: super smart, but yeah.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Cards, I mean, I would think all coaches are smart,
- 3:15Speaker 3: but I feel.
- 3:16Speaker 4: Like he's like he went and walked on and then Yeah. Also,
- 3:21Speaker 4: Vanderbilt's a tough one to root for as an underdog,
- 3:24Speaker 4: And I to tell you why we root for them
- 3:26Speaker 4: because they are an underdog and they haven't been good
- 3:29Speaker 4: for so long.
- 3:29Speaker 1: They're well, they were like what three touchdown.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Yeah, twenty twenty two and a half twenty three depending
- 3:34Speaker 5: where you looked.
- 3:35Speaker 1: So if they were to get good, though, people would
- 3:38Speaker 1: really have a problem with them because they're for smart
- 3:40Speaker 1: kids and rich kids.
- 3:40Speaker 5: Right.
- 3:41Speaker 1: It's the weirdest underdog of smart, rich kids. And that
- 3:44Speaker 1: doesn't mean all the football players are, but Vanderbilt is
- 3:46Speaker 1: a weird underdog because you could be like, we're rooting
- 3:49Speaker 1: for the little guy of rich and smart people. But
- 3:54Speaker 1: it's pretty awesome. Not gonna lie, you know how I
- 3:57Speaker 1: ran into ran into the dred DeAndre Hopkins. This weekend,
- 4:00Speaker 1: WOA I went to Lepers Fork, which is probably thirty
- 4:04Speaker 1: minutes out of Nashville. One of my friends named Ross
- 4:08Speaker 1: Copperman was playing a songwriter deal. We're very close to
- 4:12Speaker 1: the Copperman family, and it was the first time that
- 4:15Speaker 1: Ross's daughter Iris was playing. She's twelve. She's awesome, really yeah,
- 4:21Speaker 1: like she's awesome, she writes songs, that's cool, she's and
- 4:24Speaker 1: she's crazy good and first time she'd ever played, like
- 4:27Speaker 1: live out. So my wife and I, being close to
- 4:29Speaker 1: the family, we go and we go into it's a restaurant,
- 4:34Speaker 1: but we're sitting with the family, so we didn't buy tickets,
- 4:37Speaker 1: but it was sold out. I mean, they're probably like
- 4:40Speaker 1: eighty seats.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Is it a nice restaurant or is it like a barbecue.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Like a country country barbecue places. Yeah, there, I don't
- 4:45Speaker 1: think they have like a nice restaurant. Maybe they have
- 4:46Speaker 1: one that's kind of nice, but Leper's Fork's not really
- 4:49Speaker 1: for suit and tie.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Yeah, but they have like an art museum somewhere in
- 4:51Speaker 3: the middle of there, and I'm like, ooh, a little
- 4:52Speaker 3: fancy and you can.
- 4:53Speaker 5: Buy stuff there though, yeah, not for me.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Yeah, but we're watching and I see DeAndre hobb Over
- 5:00Speaker 1: on the bar. It's him and I think maybe his
- 5:03Speaker 1: girlfriend or his wife or just some female and they're
- 5:07Speaker 1: just sitting there and I guess he was there to
- 5:08Speaker 1: watch the show. He has like a publishing company, a
- 5:11Speaker 1: joint venture with somebody here in town. And Ross, my
- 5:15Speaker 1: friend has a son, and he's like, oh, maybe love
- 5:18Speaker 1: to go meet Dean Dropkins. And I was like, I
- 5:20Speaker 1: not kind of know him.
- 5:20Speaker 3: My guess, oh no, well you haven't talked since the DM.
- 5:24Speaker 1: But I didn DM. Hm, I mean, well we met.
- 5:27Speaker 1: We spent time together in Tell the store in France,
- 5:31Speaker 1: and probably like eight or nine minutes talked. Then we DM.
- 5:34Speaker 1: You guys are like waiting for a car as I'm
- 5:36Speaker 1: waiting for waiting for I would say ubers, but they
- 5:38Speaker 1: like it was one of these boy It's like a
- 5:41Speaker 1: fancy thing. So they sent cars. So we're waiting for
- 5:44Speaker 1: our cars, right, And so I'm like, ye, I'll introduce you,
- 5:48Speaker 1: coul get a picture and I go up and I'm
- 5:49Speaker 1: he had no idea how it was. Oh no, he
- 5:51Speaker 1: had no idea, really, no idea. It's okay, I did.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I never expect anybody to know who And I don't
- 5:58Speaker 1: mean like he didn't know who I was. Inobbi bones.
- 6:00Speaker 1: He had no idea that we had met.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Yeight, but you didn't tell him. You didn't remind him like, hey,
- 6:04Speaker 3: I remember France.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I did kind of in the way of like, hey, Deandres, Bobby,
- 6:09Speaker 1: we met in France. I don't know if there was
- 6:14Speaker 1: too much stimuli happening around. Sure, he had no idea,
- 6:17Speaker 1: so he did feel like he had met me, because
- 6:20Speaker 1: this happened to me. Sometimes it was like, oh we
- 6:21Speaker 1: met and I just think like, oh, yeah, of course, yeah, duh.
- 6:23Speaker 1: And I really don't remember them, not him, because it
- 6:26Speaker 1: happens a lot. No, No, he did, and he didn't
- 6:28Speaker 1: remember me, but he knew he probably had met me,
- 6:32Speaker 1: so he just played like he kind of remembered me.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I did things all the time too, I respect the game,
- 6:39Speaker 1: and so then I realized, because I do this people too,
- 6:42Speaker 1: that he was doing that to me. So now I
- 6:43Speaker 1: could add liberty. Even if you didn't remember me, I
- 6:44Speaker 1: could just say something. He'd be like oh yeah, yeah,
- 6:47Speaker 1: and I was like, hey, good to see again. You
- 6:48Speaker 1: got taking a picture of my friend's kid. He just
- 6:49Speaker 1: wanted to meet you, because that's the whole point of it.
- 6:51Speaker 1: And he was like, yeah, no problem. We got took
- 6:52Speaker 1: a picture of then that was it, but he had
- 6:53Speaker 1: no idea, don't remember me though. Feelings weren't hurt, but
- 6:57Speaker 1: I was happy that he acted like he kind of
- 6:58Speaker 1: did because he took a picture of my friend's kid,
- 7:01Speaker 1: and that was the whole goal of all cool. M No,
- 7:06Speaker 1: I'm way down there.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I'm way down there.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Already responded, so, yeah, that was my DeAndre Hopkins.
- 7:13Speaker 3: That's cool man, No, no, no, It's cool that you
- 7:15Speaker 3: got to see him though, And I think it's cool
- 7:17Speaker 3: when you see anybody, especially athletes, out in the wild
- 7:19Speaker 3: because you've already met him because you knew how big
- 7:22Speaker 3: he was. But like seeing an athlete in the wild
- 7:24Speaker 3: is awesome because you get the visual of like, oh
- 7:26Speaker 3: that's a big dude.
- 7:27Speaker 1: He's not big. He's tall, right, Danre Hopkins not the
- 7:30Speaker 1: big dude. I don't think you'd see him and be like,
- 7:32Speaker 1: you'd think he was like an actor or an artist
- 7:35Speaker 1: because he's got like fancy hair, yeah, the dreads, But
- 7:38Speaker 1: you wouldn't see him and be like that dude's for
- 7:41Speaker 1: sure an athlete. Yeah, no, not big. Look I can
- 7:44Speaker 1: lookup tight and weight, but I've been like kluge, like
- 7:47Speaker 1: comparative like Kevin Klogar trainer. Yeah, you would think he's
- 7:51Speaker 1: an athlete because he's muscular, and he did play college
- 7:54Speaker 1: football and his brother played. His twin brother played for
- 7:57Speaker 1: the Titans for a bunch of years.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Which for years I thought he was Kevin Klue.
- 8:01Speaker 5: I was actually talking about that the other day with
- 8:02Speaker 5: a friend, his wife or his fiance. She was a
- 8:05Speaker 5: cheerleader at the time, and they know each other.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Okay, DeAndre Hopkins six one twelve, So six to one
- 8:11Speaker 1: is my height? Yeah, and I didn't really.
- 8:13Speaker 3: Easy easy Now you're six to one.
- 8:15Speaker 1: I've always get six one. Do you want to see
- 8:16Speaker 1: my driver's license? Do you want to see my driver's license?
- 8:20Speaker 3: What you told them?
- 8:21Speaker 1: What I measured? Do you want to see my doctor's reports?
- 8:24Speaker 3: I'm good?
- 8:25Speaker 1: So I know he isn't look like a tall guy
- 8:27Speaker 1: in two twenty. I mean, I guess I wasn't like
- 8:30Speaker 1: putting my hands around his waist, like measuring thickness. He
- 8:32Speaker 1: doesn't look like he'd have to be a professional athlete.
- 8:35Speaker 1: He does look like something because again he has it's
- 8:37Speaker 1: not just dread. He has like cool hair, like like
- 8:42Speaker 1: he probably he wears it up and like a yeah,
- 8:44Speaker 1: like a rat it's awesome, which is what I would
- 8:46Speaker 1: do me too, which I could do that if I
- 8:47Speaker 1: just had like cool hair. I do have a hair,
- 8:50Speaker 1: but I don't. I couldn't do that. But yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 8:54Speaker 1: what a weekend. Let's get to the tittle Tattle and
- 8:56Speaker 1: then we'll get to coach Clark Lee and then I
- 8:59Speaker 1: got a little something. All right, ready, Mikey, All right,
- 9:01Speaker 1: let's go this time?
- 9:04Speaker 2: His name ever?
- 9:06Speaker 1: The title Tattle with.
- 9:10Speaker 5: Big win Saturday night for your Razorbacks. Where does that
- 9:13Speaker 5: rank in terms of biggest wins of your lifetime?
- 9:16Speaker 2: Oh?
- 9:16Speaker 1: I don't not top ten.
- 9:18Speaker 3: I don't know who was a big one though.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Yeah it was big. Of course it was big for us,
- 9:21Speaker 1: but that's that wasn't like a game change or revolutionary win.
- 9:25Speaker 1: It was fun. I thought we'd win the game. Before
- 9:28Speaker 1: the game, I think I said that here, this is
- 9:29Speaker 1: the kind of game we're gonna win.
- 9:30Speaker 3: You did you did so?
- 9:31Speaker 1: And I always think we're gonna lose. Even Caitlyn's dad,
- 9:35Speaker 1: who I call every game. I can tell him when
- 9:37Speaker 1: and where, and he was like, how you feeling? And
- 9:39Speaker 1: I was like, Oh, we're gonna win this one, And
- 9:41Speaker 1: he was like, who are you I was like, no,
- 9:43Speaker 1: this is the kind of game we win and then
- 9:45Speaker 1: we lose, and then we went let's just say it's
- 9:47Speaker 1: just like so, No, I I there was there wasn't
- 9:52Speaker 1: an expectation of winning, but I did think if there
- 9:56Speaker 1: was a game that we were gonna we always have
- 9:57Speaker 1: one or two big surprizes a year. I feel like
- 9:59Speaker 1: we can in that game. We don't like Tennessee regionally,
- 10:04Speaker 1: they're close. We have, you know, a couple back to
- 10:08Speaker 1: back years back in the late nineties that are pretty
- 10:11Speaker 1: historic for both teams. But it was a fun game.
- 10:14Speaker 1: I wish I could have been there, and I guess
- 10:16Speaker 1: I could have been there, but I'm traveling this week
- 10:17Speaker 1: and I just thought I'll wait for Texas.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Yeah, that would be a big one. So during watching
- 10:24Speaker 3: the game, though, where you like I should be there? No, okay, no,
- 10:29Speaker 3: not at all.
- 10:29Speaker 1: I actually like watching it on TV better you get
- 10:31Speaker 1: to see all of it. The only thing that I
- 10:33Speaker 1: don't like is that I wasn't there around other people
- 10:36Speaker 1: that I know went to the game, and I could have,
- 10:37Speaker 1: you know, I'd like to be around my friends. Yeah
- 10:39Speaker 1: that also liked the game. So it's not even so
- 10:41Speaker 1: much about the experience because also, I mean, now I'll
- 10:44Speaker 1: just sit in a suite. I used to not. I
- 10:46Speaker 1: used to sit down wherever I get tickets. But life's
- 10:49Speaker 1: been good to your boy for the last few years.
- 10:51Speaker 1: It has, and so now I'll sit in a suite
- 10:53Speaker 1: and there's food. You can go out and watch, or
- 10:54Speaker 1: you can watch on screens.
- 10:55Speaker 3: And can you start on the field from the suite?
- 10:57Speaker 1: No, but you can go.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Down oh in Yeah, it's funny.
- 11:02Speaker 1: You jumped in with it. During the Texas game two
- 11:06Speaker 1: years ago when we beat Texas in Fayville, we as
- 11:10Speaker 1: in fans stormed the field, but I didn't. I just
- 11:12Speaker 1: did up and watched because I was like, I don't
- 11:14Speaker 1: want to walk down there. And then we couldn't get
- 11:15Speaker 1: out because there's no roads really out of fav It's
- 11:17Speaker 1: like we were stuck for like three hours. But it
- 11:19Speaker 1: was worth it. It's good. Uh So where does the rank?
- 11:22Speaker 1: Pretty cool? It's a good one top five team.
- 11:24Speaker 6: I mean I felt like, yeah, I'm not gonna lie
- 11:30Speaker 6: for the first time that I was watching that game
- 11:31Speaker 6: and I was yelling at TV like I felt like
- 11:33Speaker 6: a fan. I felt like Tennessee, Yeah, you're rod for
- 11:36Speaker 6: Tennessee to be Arktsan.
- 11:38Speaker 5: Yes, I am not y die hard, okay and good,
- 11:41Speaker 5: but I kind of felt back and I always root
- 11:42Speaker 5: for Arkansas. No, I'm rooting for you as a friend,
- 11:45Speaker 5: thank you, you know, as a friend, but that I
- 11:46Speaker 5: just couldn't do it.
- 11:47Speaker 1: You know. I feel like I'm in a pretty unhealthy place.
- 11:52Speaker 1: And I tell you why. And I've wondered why this
- 11:55Speaker 1: season I have been so angry at Law is that
- 12:00Speaker 1: we always lose, meaning we're a tortured fan base. If
- 12:06Speaker 1: it's close, we expect to lose because we've we've lost
- 12:08Speaker 1: most of those games. We're a tortured fan base. And
- 12:12Speaker 1: this year I've been so upset and I think the
- 12:14Speaker 1: more money that I donate, the more irritated I get,
- 12:18Speaker 1: because I'm like, why am I spending all this money
- 12:19Speaker 1: if we suck totally? And I really had to wonder
- 12:22Speaker 1: why because this year the text animals tax anam G
- 12:26Speaker 1: has pissed me off, and I'm like, why do I
- 12:28Speaker 1: feel not just like classic US again? And I'm sad
- 12:32Speaker 1: but like bitter about it, and I'm like investing money
- 12:36Speaker 1: and I'm like, oh, I'm spending a lot of money. Yeah,
- 12:38Speaker 1: I just stop giving money. But then I know it's
- 12:43Speaker 1: it's a tricky situation.
- 12:44Speaker 3: But then you win this game and you're like, oh, okay,
- 12:47Speaker 3: that's that's.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Not what it's about now.
- 12:49Speaker 5: But you seem so much more emotionally involved when you lose.
- 12:52Speaker 5: You just came off a big win. That's life for me.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Though, something good happens, all right, how do we keep
- 12:58Speaker 1: this going? Something bad happens.
- 12:59Speaker 5: It's in the world like you never want to get
- 13:01Speaker 5: too high, Never get too high, but stay very very low.
- 13:06Speaker 3: That's so weird.
- 13:06Speaker 5: Always.
- 13:08Speaker 1: I know it's not a real one. I want you
- 13:10Speaker 1: to live. It was a It was a fun game. Yeah,
- 13:12Speaker 1: I was happy to win. We have a week off.
- 13:16Speaker 1: We have l s U next. I think, you know,
- 13:18Speaker 1: l s U isn't quite the team that Tennessee is
- 13:22Speaker 1: or has been, so we'll see how that goes. But
- 13:26Speaker 1: if we can beat LSU, I think we have a
- 13:27Speaker 1: shot at a pretty good season. We still have Ole
- 13:30Speaker 1: miss I mean, Missouri got ran by Texas A and M.
- 13:34Speaker 1: So that makes you feel pretty to go to the
- 13:36Speaker 1: TEXTA A and M ran Missouri, because maybe TEXTA A
- 13:37Speaker 1: M is pretty good. Although they did lose a Notre Dame.
- 13:39Speaker 1: But then Oklahoma State got rammed by West Virginia and
- 13:42Speaker 1: you're like.
- 13:43Speaker 3: What the crap?
- 13:44Speaker 1: Last three in a row? Yeah, what are you doing?
- 13:46Speaker 2: What? No?
- 13:47Speaker 5: I was just saying if if they beat Missouri that bad,
- 13:50Speaker 5: you guys almost beat A and M.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Then you're start you think you guys are better at
- 13:56Speaker 3: coming back than having a lead early and trying to
- 13:59Speaker 3: keep it.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 14:01Speaker 5: Yeah, when you're down fourteen three, where you're like, oh.
- 14:04Speaker 1: We were up three zero at half and I was like,
- 14:06Speaker 1: we should be up seventeen zero because we had so
- 14:08Speaker 1: many red zone opportunities. We didn't kick you. It was miserable.
- 14:12Speaker 3: What's that update on your quarterback?
- 14:14Speaker 1: I mean they got a week off, he tried to
- 14:15Speaker 1: come back in. Yeah, there is no update. There's no update.
- 14:18Speaker 1: But it was a fun game. I'm happy about it.
- 14:21Speaker 1: I think if we can win eight games this season,
- 14:22Speaker 1: it's a successful year for us. This year. I think
- 14:25Speaker 1: seven games coach bet mc keeps his job six. I
- 14:29Speaker 1: don't know less than that. Probably not I like him.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I've not been extremely happy with how Oklahoma State takex
- 14:38Speaker 1: A and M went. But maybe she'll just stop giving
- 14:40Speaker 1: them money. Moral of the story, because I mean it, oh,
- 14:44Speaker 1: it makes me so mad. Even if we were to
- 14:47Speaker 1: get beat one hundred and to nothing, I all think
- 14:48Speaker 1: would have been as mad as kind of the collapses.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Though.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a difference in a collapse where you're set
- 14:54Speaker 1: up to win and then just having somebody come up,
- 14:56Speaker 1: show up and out class you. Yeah, but we haven't
- 14:58Speaker 1: been out in class from start to finish this year,
- 14:59Speaker 1: so that's fair. It was good and it was awesome.
- 15:02Speaker 1: It was a great weekend because I mean, look at
- 15:05Speaker 1: the Alabama Vanderbilg game, hilarious, then yours hilarious, the Michigan
- 15:10Speaker 1: getting beat by Minnesota.
- 15:11Speaker 5: Isn't it Washington or Washington Minnesota.
- 15:14Speaker 1: To beat USC it was all over.
- 15:16Speaker 5: Yeah, it was, And it looked like a boring weekend
- 15:18Speaker 5: when you looked at like Friday whatever boom.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:21Speaker 1: I think it was only one game where two top
- 15:23Speaker 1: twenty five teams want only two games, So it was fun.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I'm happy about it, and I wish we didn't have
- 15:30Speaker 1: a bye week this week, except except for the injury
- 15:31Speaker 1: to our quarterback, which we didn't have a bye week,
- 15:33Speaker 1: but we probably need that week like settle down a
- 15:35Speaker 1: little bit maybe, or no, no, to hal him up.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Oh okay, I don't want to just keep the momentum going.
- 15:40Speaker 1: All right, Next up, officially the Heisman favorite. Now do
- 15:42Speaker 1: you think Boise State running back Ashton Genty is the
- 15:45Speaker 1: best player in college football? He's really good. I mean
- 15:47Speaker 1: they have played Oregon. They lost the game to Oregon.
- 15:50Speaker 1: It was the one where Oregon Oregon come back and
- 15:52Speaker 1: win that they Yeah, Oregon barely won that game too,
- 15:55Speaker 1: and that was when Oregon was like barely whinny games
- 15:57Speaker 1: were like who even his Oregon? Do they suck or not?
- 16:00Speaker 1: He's awesome, He's amazing, But it's like, probably Travis Hunter
- 16:04Speaker 1: is the best. But if you're just like having to
- 16:05Speaker 1: pick a player, it's probably Travis Hunter because of what
- 16:09Speaker 1: he does on both sides of the ball. Like if
- 16:10Speaker 1: you get to pick one that cam Ward come back
- 16:13Speaker 1: with nuts. That's nuts. How Miami continues to do this.
- 16:18Speaker 1: That game wild I watched they were down twenty and
- 16:24Speaker 1: they started to come back, and I was like, I
- 16:26Speaker 1: don't care, So I turned it off and then watched
- 16:28Speaker 1: it all back the next day. But it is crazy
- 16:32Speaker 1: to see Miami continue to win these games. Uh, Jayla Melroe,
- 16:35Speaker 1: I don't know that game hurd him the Vandy game
- 16:37Speaker 1: heard him is in the Heisman race. But yeah, I
- 16:39Speaker 1: mean also for a running back to win. Eddie George
- 16:42Speaker 1: Last want to do it? Derrick Henry Derek Henry So
- 16:45Speaker 1: I meant, yeah, Derek Henry so I met, Yeah, the.
- 16:47Speaker 5: Other Tennessee Titan.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Yeah. There's the picture Derrick Henry at the
- 16:54Speaker 1: coin float in high school and he's like double the
- 16:56Speaker 1: sides of the next game.
- 16:57Speaker 5: Mark Ingram one that one too where he's next to Marking.
- 17:00Speaker 1: They both have a pretty funny one where they're just
- 17:03Speaker 1: both so much bigger than the other people because Henry's
- 17:07Speaker 1: a large human, massive, but he looks so much thinner
- 17:10Speaker 1: in Baltimore. Maybe it's just his jersey. Baltimore like slims them.
- 17:14Speaker 1: He looks like he runs faster in Baltimore. His jersey's
- 17:18Speaker 1: a little tighter. Yeah, I'm gonna go if if Colorado
- 17:25Speaker 1: continues to win games, And think about this, two years ago,
- 17:28Speaker 1: Colorado was the second worst team in college football. I mean,
- 17:34Speaker 1: if they win six games, the media aren't going to
- 17:37Speaker 1: go Colorado. They've done a great job because of how
- 17:41Speaker 1: much hype Dion's got. I mean, he's turned the program around.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Sugar is awesome. If you don't like him or not.
- 17:47Speaker 1: I mean, he's gonna get drafted, probably top three, if
- 17:49Speaker 1: not number one. Travis Hunter probably a top three pick.
- 17:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna go Travis Hunter is the best player. But
- 17:56Speaker 1: the question is, well they let someone from Boise win
- 17:58Speaker 1: the Heisman considering boys's schedule as they have Hawaii coming
- 18:02Speaker 1: up this week. They do have you and LV the
- 18:04Speaker 1: week after that. But again you're still talking about Mountain
- 18:06Speaker 1: West teams, not other P four.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Go into play for the Heisman, just like the size
- 18:12Speaker 3: of the school or the how.
- 18:13Speaker 1: I think everything goes into play right.
- 18:15Speaker 5: And it has to they have to be like almost undefeated.
- 18:18Speaker 5: I mean they lost the Oregan but that that even hurts.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I remember when I was a kid, you need to
- 18:22Speaker 1: probably make the college fotball playoffs, yes, for him to
- 18:24Speaker 1: have a shot.
- 18:25Speaker 3: Yes, When I was a kid, Andre ware w on
- 18:27Speaker 3: the Houston and that was in Houston.
- 18:28Speaker 1: So different though Houston was in Southwest Conference and I think, oh,
- 18:32Speaker 1: we definitely looked that up, but that was I just remember.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Moving on, who's that ty Deptmer He was a b
- 18:37Speaker 3: YU at the time, Like those.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Those are the major conferences though. Yeah, they had a couple, Yeah,
- 18:40Speaker 1: all right, what else you got?
- 18:41Speaker 2: All right?
- 18:41Speaker 5: NFL? Here now one and four in the season. Do
- 18:43Speaker 5: you think the Browns should bench Deshaun Watson.
- 18:47Speaker 1: They're not I when you hurts, Fancy said, they're not right,
- 18:50Speaker 1: he said, I'm not benching him. He sucks?
- 18:52Speaker 3: Is that because they like pay him so much?
- 18:55Speaker 1: It has to be, it has to be. They're awful, Yeah,
- 18:58Speaker 1: they're bad. Yeah, I do. I think they should. He's
- 19:02Speaker 1: also not a great dude, doesn't seem like and from
- 19:06Speaker 1: what we've read from multiple yeah, multiple reasons, I think
- 19:09Speaker 1: I think they should have bench him. They did beat
- 19:13Speaker 1: the Jacks, by the way, the Jags did win.
- 19:15Speaker 3: They got their win.
- 19:16Speaker 5: They almost blew it, almost blew.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Theydansky said he's not benching it. Here's the stats. He's
- 19:21Speaker 1: got seven or twenty seven passing yards, four touchdowns, uh,
- 19:23Speaker 1: three interceptions. Jameis Winston is the backup. He has due
- 19:26Speaker 1: forty six million dollars in twenty five and twenty six.
- 19:30Speaker 1: And here are the next three games, the Eagles, the Bengals,
- 19:31Speaker 1: and the Ravens. They're probably gonna lose those three games anyway.
- 19:36Speaker 1: And if you think that he will do the worst job,
- 19:41Speaker 1: don't you keep him in at this point, meaning get
- 19:44Speaker 1: a higher draft pick.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:47Speaker 1: If you think he's gonna I mean not gonna fire.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Stafanski was coach of the Year last year. I know
- 19:51Speaker 1: Fancy doesn't have anything to worry about. He didn't signed
- 19:55Speaker 1: to Shaun Watson.
- 19:56Speaker 5: He's probably like, police, fire me, get me out.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Of this situation. Well, it was like, that's what Shanahan did, right.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Didn't Shanahan like write a whole the whole thesis about
- 20:04Speaker 1: how he wanted out of Cleveland when he was an assistant.
- 20:06Speaker 5: I don't know did he Kyle.
- 20:08Speaker 1: I think it was either Shanahan looked, looked at Mike
- 20:10Speaker 1: we you look it up. Who wrote their thesis to
- 20:11Speaker 1: get out of Cleveland because he was assistant coach and
- 20:13Speaker 1: he was like, I do not want to be here.
- 20:15Speaker 1: So I wrote like a paper on why they should
- 20:17Speaker 1: let him go. That's funny, and they let him go.
- 20:19Speaker 1: I think it was Shanahan. Yeah, all right, next up, all.
- 20:22Speaker 5: Right, last one after handing the Bills or second straight loss,
- 20:24Speaker 5: where he ranked the Texans in the a f C.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Pretty good, they look good. I mean, so Nico Collins
- 20:36Speaker 1: was Q then oh played right, yes, Oh he played?
- 20:40Speaker 1: Oh he scored like a sixty hour touchdowns. But then
- 20:43Speaker 1: he got the QUE then he got the O. But
- 20:45Speaker 1: I don't know where he is leading into next week.
- 20:47Speaker 1: They're playing the Patriots. They should win that. You got
- 20:50Speaker 1: a root for your guys to lose, now, yeah, you
- 20:52Speaker 1: just have to do It's not rooting to lose. But
- 20:55Speaker 1: you don't put any hope in it. You want the
- 20:57Speaker 1: high draft pick and you don't want them to play
- 20:59Speaker 1: Drake me no, God, he will die. God, no, he
- 21:02Speaker 1: will die. You know what you want? You want Deshaun
- 21:04Speaker 1: Watson to come play quarterback for you?
- 21:08Speaker 3: Do you want that? Go on the air with it
- 21:09Speaker 3: right now.
- 21:10Speaker 5: No, No, no, no. Anybody who says mation play to
- 21:14Speaker 5: shut up.
- 21:14Speaker 1: They're gonna be the Patriots. Packers is interesting. They're gonna
- 21:17Speaker 1: be the Colts lines is interesting. Cowboys in the AFC.
- 21:21Speaker 1: I'm not gonna put anybody over the Chiefs until it's time.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Until somebody beats the chief It doesn't matter if they
- 21:27Speaker 1: have no receivers. They haven't lost a game. They played
- 21:30Speaker 1: a night only one game tonight though, right one. I
- 21:33Speaker 1: don't like the two games I thought going into last
- 21:34Speaker 1: week like all right, two games.
- 21:36Speaker 3: All the time. I like it is halftime because the break.
- 21:39Speaker 3: But other than that, you're right, I don't.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Like it the morning game, and we can talk about
- 21:43Speaker 1: the Jets in a little bit with New York Casey.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I didn't love the morning game as much as I
- 21:47Speaker 1: normally do. I wish they would start it a little later,
- 21:50Speaker 1: maybe like an hour later. We still wake up and
- 21:52Speaker 1: get it early, but I feel like it's a little
- 21:54Speaker 1: too early.
- 21:55Speaker 3: But you can't because it ends within thirty minutes between
- 21:58Speaker 3: the before the noon game.
- 21:59Speaker 1: But I'm okay with it crossing over a little bit
- 22:01Speaker 1: because some of them cross those three o'clock games. Sometimes
- 22:03Speaker 1: those other games cross them at three o'clock. We have
- 22:05Speaker 1: the capacity to handle those games. And it's on NFL networks.
- 22:07Speaker 1: There's not another game that needs to be on that
- 22:09Speaker 1: that network, that channel.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Urchise and call him the game. That's cool.
- 22:13Speaker 5: M It's got to hurt him a little bit calling
- 22:15Speaker 5: the Jets game. Then they lose again.
- 22:17Speaker 3: But but he didn't show. I mean, he was very
- 22:18Speaker 3: like professional about it.
- 22:20Speaker 5: Yeah, he's like, we've done this for twenty five years.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't know if we talked about that on
- 22:25Speaker 1: MIC or off, but we went to dinner with Rich
- 22:26Speaker 1: when we were in New York and we're just talking about,
- 22:29Speaker 1: like Jets, your favorite team, like, and he's like, you know,
- 22:31Speaker 1: sometimes I may go a little harder on the Jets
- 22:34Speaker 1: because I know people are looking for me to go
- 22:35Speaker 1: light on them, like maybe even subconsciously, he does that
- 22:38Speaker 1: to prove that he's not trying to be a homer
- 22:39Speaker 1: or a favorite. Vikings are really good, yeah, Sam Darnold
- 22:44Speaker 1: even play that well, No, and the Vikings are really good.
- 22:48Speaker 1: The Jets. Also the Jets, baby, I know. Well no,
- 22:51Speaker 1: I mean they've beat everybody, to be fair, the Vikings
- 22:53Speaker 1: have beat there.
- 22:54Speaker 3: But yeah, the Vikings.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Rogers look like Eddie out there playing. Oh not because
- 22:59Speaker 1: he wasn't good, just like that.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Yeah, he's better than me many.
- 23:05Speaker 1: But I think if I were ranking the AFC teams,
- 23:06Speaker 1: I would go Kansas City one, and the Texans too.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Buffalo not good.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Again, it's like this week.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Yo yo on big time. I just mean this past week.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Because they can beat anybody. They can also get beat
- 23:16Speaker 1: by anybody. But I would probably go Kansas City and
- 23:20Speaker 1: then the Texans and then probably Baltimore. But since he
- 23:26Speaker 1: blew that game Joe brought through a bad interception, Yeah,
- 23:29Speaker 1: they could have won the game. They should have won
- 23:32Speaker 1: the game, but Joe brought threw a bad interception that
- 23:34Speaker 1: was on Joe Burrow and I think he probably said
- 23:37Speaker 1: that as well.
- 23:38Speaker 5: But since got conservative in overtime.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Yes, but it should have never got there. Should never
- 23:45Speaker 1: got there. But with Pittsburgh losing, I know SINCINNTI lost
- 23:49Speaker 1: again in the one and four. Yeah, but I still
- 23:52Speaker 1: think Cincinnati's in the mix because Pittsburgh was never going
- 23:55Speaker 1: to stay at the top of the division. Obviously, Baltimore,
- 23:58Speaker 1: what are they? Three and two now three in a
- 24:00Speaker 1: row the two games, but they're two games back. Since
- 24:02Speaker 1: I's two games back. Their defense sucks balls, but very true.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Yeah, it's good. It's a way to put it.
- 24:08Speaker 1: But they they should have beat Baltimore. I think Baltimore's
- 24:12Speaker 1: the third best team in the AFC. Yeah yeah, So
- 24:15Speaker 1: all right, that's tittle tattle hit it thet all right series.
- 24:25Speaker 1: What we're gonna do if you're watching the game tonight, especially,
- 24:28Speaker 1: you can do pick six with these because we'll give
- 24:29Speaker 1: you some stats here. But pick six is just awesome anyway,
- 24:31Speaker 1: DraftKings pick six and the pick six app So tonight
- 24:35Speaker 1: Saints at Chiefs. Travis Kelce with more or less than
- 24:38Speaker 1: fifty six point five receiving yards. I'm gonna go more.
- 24:40Speaker 1: I think that.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Taylor is going to the game.
- 24:42Speaker 2: She is.
- 24:43Speaker 1: She didn't go to his birthday, correct, I saw that
- 24:45Speaker 1: she missed the birthday. Is going to the game. We
- 24:48Speaker 1: just read up on it, dude, I have to. I
- 24:50Speaker 1: try to read everything.
- 24:51Speaker 5: Yeah, I understand you, Eddie.
- 24:55Speaker 1: It's a weird hybrid of stuff that I can assume
- 24:57Speaker 1: as well, Like.
- 24:58Speaker 5: It's it's that's fair for you.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Lots of pop stuff, lots of country stuff, lots of
- 25:02Speaker 1: sports stuff, and it's like that Venn diagram of everything.
- 25:06Speaker 1: How all the circles come together for me? Pretty odd? Uh,
- 25:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna go Travis Kelsey more because I think one,
- 25:13Speaker 1: they ain't got nobody else.
- 25:14Speaker 3: That's what I was gonna say, Who's he gonna throw
- 25:16Speaker 3: it to?
- 25:16Speaker 1: Right? And then two, I think they're really trying to
- 25:19Speaker 1: shut everybody up because the constant conversation is was he
- 25:23Speaker 1: partying all m hmm summer with Taylor? Yep h So
- 25:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna go more. Patrick mahomes more less than two
- 25:30Speaker 1: thirty four passing, So the easy answer would be more
- 25:33Speaker 1: because two thirty four is a low number. However, when
- 25:35Speaker 1: you consider.
- 25:35Speaker 3: That, who's he gonna throw it to?
- 25:36Speaker 1: Well, there, nobody's been throwing for a lot of yards
- 25:39Speaker 1: this year. Secondly, yeah, who's he gonna throw to? I
- 25:43Speaker 1: mean Xavier Worthy. We'll run a go okay, Travis Kelsey,
- 25:49Speaker 1: go find a spot in zone break?
- 25:50Speaker 3: But do they connect on that? Go a few times?
- 25:52Speaker 3: Like we can get the we can get those yardage.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Al Ma Kamara more less than point five total touch oh,
- 25:56Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes, I'll go over, except number is just too low.
- 25:59Speaker 1: I think even if we were all playing receiver form me, dude,
- 26:01Speaker 1: get over that. Of course, I'm a Kamara more than
- 26:03Speaker 1: zero point five total touchdowns. He's a beast. He just
- 26:06Speaker 1: catches so many balls. He has a fantasy. If you're
- 26:09Speaker 1: playing against him, it's a nightmare because all they do.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Me too, And I had him last year and I
- 26:15Speaker 1: draft him even though he was suspended for three games,
- 26:17Speaker 1: and it I won this. I won my league a
- 26:20Speaker 1: lot to Kamara checkdowns, because that's all that would happen.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Check doown, that's a point. Check down, that's a point. Yeah,
- 26:27Speaker 1: I think he scores. You can, So it's however you
- 26:30Speaker 1: feel about these lines if you can actually predict this,
- 26:32Speaker 1: you can actually do pretty well. Download the new DraftKings

- 27:03Speaker 1: talk to the guy coach, Clarklee, Vanderbilt head football coach.
- 27:08Speaker 1: This was the biggest win in program history. Vanderbilt beat
- 27:11Speaker 1: number one Alabama this past weekend forty to thirty five
- 27:14Speaker 1: for the first win in program history versus the top
- 27:16Speaker 1: five opponent. They are now one and sixty all time.
- 27:19Speaker 1: It was a crazy upset. I'm glad I was watching
- 27:21Speaker 1: it live because it was different watching it live than
- 27:23Speaker 1: going and watching it on clips, which is how I
- 27:26Speaker 1: catch most stuff.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Did you go downtown after the game?
- 27:29Speaker 1: I run the goal post.
- 27:31Speaker 3: You up there.
- 27:31Speaker 1: I rolled and I'd like to shout out Coach Lee
- 27:35Speaker 1: because everybody wanted coach Lee today obviously biggest upset in years,
- 27:41Speaker 1: and he still was like, I'm coming on with you guys.
- 27:44Speaker 3: That's so cool.
- 27:44Speaker 1: So Coach Clarklee, we love him. Here he is head
- 27:48Speaker 1: football coach Vanderbilt University. Clarkly Yes, wow, wow, wow, wow,
- 27:57Speaker 1: Oh my god, what a wow? What do you even say? Coach?
- 28:02Speaker 1: Come on?
- 28:03Speaker 2: Oh man, I've had to fight to move past that.
- 28:09Speaker 2: You could relive that night, you know, every day for
- 28:11Speaker 2: the rest of your life, if you if you had
- 28:13Speaker 2: your choice. But we got to move on now, I
- 28:16Speaker 2: hear you.
- 28:16Speaker 1: But okay, well before I move on, let's have ten
- 28:19Speaker 1: minutes with us, right, what does your phone look like
- 28:21Speaker 1: after that?
- 28:21Speaker 2: Coach?
- 28:22Speaker 1: You go to your cell phone, you finally get to
- 28:23Speaker 1: it after everything, and what does it look like?
- 28:25Speaker 2: You know? I changed my number in May, so over
- 28:29Speaker 2: the years kind of it made the rounds too many times,
- 28:32Speaker 2: I think, And so I was starting to get some
- 28:35Speaker 2: kind of odd ball texts in the springtime, and I
- 28:38Speaker 2: think changing my number probably saved me another five hundred texts,
- 28:42Speaker 2: you know, but it was look, you for all the
- 28:45Speaker 2: for all the times that you come back to your
- 28:46Speaker 2: phone and it's there's nothing there. You know, you just
- 28:49Speaker 2: you appreciate people wanting to celebrate with you. And I
- 28:52Speaker 2: think there's there's so many people that you know, over
- 28:56Speaker 2: the years have like falled alongside me or part of
- 29:00Speaker 2: me in some way. It's special to hear from them.
- 29:02Speaker 2: You know, you appreciate that.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Okay, So what matchups did you say leading into that
- 29:07Speaker 1: game that you felt like there was a chance you
- 29:09Speaker 1: could exploit or at least have advantages.
- 29:12Speaker 2: You know, there weren't a lot of I mean, you know,
- 29:14Speaker 2: that's a tough game of tough matchups for us. I mean,
- 29:17Speaker 2: you know, that's a really skilled team. I think you know, offensively,
- 29:21Speaker 2: we were just trying to find the space to stay
- 29:24Speaker 2: on schedule, and we knew that if we could possess
- 29:27Speaker 2: the ball that we were going to get a chance
- 29:30Speaker 2: to get the ball up and over the top. You know,
- 29:32Speaker 2: there were going to be opportunities for us to hit
- 29:35Speaker 2: some shots, and we were able to do that. We
- 29:36Speaker 2: missed on some too, but on the whole, offensively, it
- 29:40Speaker 2: was about staying on schedule and a lot of that
- 29:42Speaker 2: channels obviously through our quarterback run and you know, our
- 29:46Speaker 2: run game is is pretty multiple. So I felt like
- 29:50Speaker 2: we were able to win physically at the point of
- 29:52Speaker 2: attack on offense and create the space we needed to
- 29:55Speaker 2: stay on schedule and that allowed us to extend drives
- 29:57Speaker 2: and have opportunities to unsure the end zone. Defensively, you know,
- 30:01Speaker 2: this was a game where we were we were really
- 30:05Speaker 2: interested and stopping the quarterbacks ability to extend the plays
- 30:09Speaker 2: with his feet. Obviously, we knew that the explosive passing
- 30:12Speaker 2: game was going to run through number two and you know,
- 30:16Speaker 2: we were just trying to a limit their opportunities by
- 30:19Speaker 2: possessing the ball with our offense and then be you know,
- 30:23Speaker 2: absorb some of their plays without allowing to score explosive touchdowns.
- 30:28Speaker 2: We we did that well enough, you know, to end
- 30:32Speaker 2: up winning the game. I think there's a few a
- 30:34Speaker 2: few we went back, specifically the third down that they
- 30:36Speaker 2: were able to get the ball over top of us,
- 30:38Speaker 2: and a getting credit to them, they made the play
- 30:41Speaker 2: they needed to make. But you know, we we we
- 30:44Speaker 2: got some things to tighten up defensively, but what we
- 30:47Speaker 2: needed to have happened was we set a ten possession game,
- 30:51Speaker 2: which it ended up being nine possessions for their offense.
- 30:55Speaker 2: You know, we needed to be able to punch and
- 30:57Speaker 2: counter punch, so you know, we needed to sink up
- 31:00Speaker 2: at the right times with with offense defensive special teams.
- 31:03Speaker 2: We did that, you know, created a couple of turnovers
- 31:05Speaker 2: that were that were huge for us one one, including
- 31:08Speaker 2: the pick six, and then we needed to win on
- 31:12Speaker 2: special teams and we needed to create a fuel position advantage,
- 31:16Speaker 2: forced them to go to the long field, try to
- 31:18Speaker 2: get us on the short field, and again we were
- 31:20Speaker 2: able to accomplish that as well. That's kind of the
- 31:23Speaker 2: makings of, you know, what would be a winning performance
- 31:26Speaker 2: for us against anybody. Certainly when you're playing a team
- 31:29Speaker 2: like Alabama, you can't you know, you can't miss on
- 31:33Speaker 2: your strategy and think you're gonna have a chance to
- 31:35Speaker 2: win it.
- 31:36Speaker 1: When you go on at halftime, did you make macro
- 31:39Speaker 1: adjustments or did you just reinforce what you had already
- 31:42Speaker 1: set pre game.
- 31:43Speaker 2: A lot of it is just kind of looking at what,
- 31:47Speaker 2: you know, what is the plan that they had for us,
- 31:49Speaker 2: and let's make sure we're clear on what those things are.
- 31:52Speaker 2: You know, defensively, it's like the special formations that you're
- 31:55Speaker 2: seeing that they know they're going to come back to offensively.
- 32:00Speaker 2: It's you know, how are they defending the option, how
- 32:02Speaker 2: are they defending your replays? And what are they what
- 32:04Speaker 2: are they doing in their box that tells you this
- 32:07Speaker 2: is kind of their plan moving forward. And then to
- 32:10Speaker 2: the team, you know, it really was to me about
- 32:14Speaker 2: kind of almost kind of taking some of the emotion
- 32:16Speaker 2: out of the moment, which I know sounds weird. I mean, look,
- 32:19Speaker 2: I'm a I get excited and fired up and can
- 32:22Speaker 2: get emotional in the game. I just felt like we
- 32:26Speaker 2: needed to focus on the fact that we've been in
- 32:29Speaker 2: this situation before that you know, it's not going to
- 32:32Speaker 2: take anything extra from us to close the game out.
- 32:35Speaker 2: You know, we needed to come back out and focus
- 32:37Speaker 2: on again our strategy, playing to cleaning game, you know,
- 32:41Speaker 2: and just stop by stop possession by possession, you know,
- 32:46Speaker 2: closing the game out. So we took our time before
- 32:48Speaker 2: we left the locker room just to kind of like
- 32:51Speaker 2: everyone settle, focus on what we want to accomplish here
- 32:54Speaker 2: in the next thirty minutes. And a credit to our team,
- 32:57Speaker 2: you know, they did just that.
- 32:59Speaker 1: As Diego just like a dog.
- 33:00Speaker 3: He seems like a dog.
- 33:01Speaker 5: I mean I'll watch him. I'm just like that dude
- 33:02Speaker 5: goes hard.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it's a He's a unique competitive personality,
- 33:08Speaker 2: Like there's not another one that I've ever come across
- 33:11Speaker 2: that is as you know. I think the one thing
- 33:14Speaker 2: that can get a little misunderstood about him is like,
- 33:17Speaker 2: this is a really serious guy who is such discipline
- 33:22Speaker 2: in his process. I mean he's so steady and consistent
- 33:25Speaker 2: in our building and day and day out, you won't
- 33:28Speaker 2: even know he's around. I mean he's it's not like
- 33:30Speaker 2: he's the loudest guy in the room. It's not like
- 33:32Speaker 2: he's looking for the attention. I mean he just he
- 33:35Speaker 2: sits front and center of every team meeting. He's right
- 33:37Speaker 2: in front of me every time after practice on a knee,
- 33:41Speaker 2: locked in and focused. He carries my message to the team.
- 33:45Speaker 2: He builds confidence in the locker room by making subtle
- 33:48Speaker 2: connections with players and creating closeness that way. But when
- 33:54Speaker 2: he crosses the lines, he just has a swagger about
- 33:57Speaker 2: him and it's infectious. Everyone sees it and believes in it.
- 34:02Speaker 2: And you use the word dog like he's a dog.
- 34:05Speaker 2: You want the ball on his hands in critical moments.
- 34:09Speaker 2: He's proven throughout his career and certainly in his time
- 34:12Speaker 2: here that every time he takes a snap, you have
- 34:15Speaker 2: a chance to win. So we're glad he's on our team.
- 34:17Speaker 2: And for me personally, I mean, this guy represent everything
- 34:20Speaker 2: I want this program to be about. And he's helping
- 34:24Speaker 2: us put a product on the field that's fun and
- 34:26Speaker 2: exciting and and you know, he gets a lot of
- 34:29Speaker 2: credit and he should. I think that. You know, the
- 34:33Speaker 2: other guys that are playing alongside him have done a
- 34:36Speaker 2: really good job to especially in our front, to open
- 34:39Speaker 2: up space, receivers, block downfield. We just have such a
- 34:42Speaker 2: different competitive makeup offensively and defensively right now. That's helping
- 34:47Speaker 2: us find ways to win.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Only got a couple of minutes low with you, and
- 34:50Speaker 1: we appreciate you fitting a sin because everybody wants to
- 34:52Speaker 1: talk to you. Bell of the ball is what I
- 34:54Speaker 1: would say, Coach, you are the bell of the ball
- 34:55Speaker 1: right now. How in the world, and I know you're
- 34:58Speaker 1: going to find a way to do it, but can
- 35:00Speaker 1: you have Kentucky coming up? I mean, this is the
- 35:02Speaker 1: biggest upset I've seen in maybe my life, one of them.
- 35:06Speaker 1: But how in the world do you get your guys
- 35:07Speaker 1: to forward face now? After being celebrated like so mightily
- 35:11Speaker 1: over the last couple of days.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I think the real challenge is that the celebration
- 35:15Speaker 2: won't stop. You know, we internally we've turned the page.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Yesterday we got to work on Kentucky. So now we
- 35:21Speaker 2: took time to enjoy in the team meeting, just kind
- 35:24Speaker 2: of the fruits of our labor. You know, put some
- 35:27Speaker 2: clips on film that I felt like showed the toughness
- 35:29Speaker 2: we played with, celebrated players of the game, so on
- 35:33Speaker 2: and so forth. But you know, we've we've made it
- 35:36Speaker 2: clear and by the time we were leaving practice last night,
- 35:41Speaker 2: you know, there's no room internally for us to to
- 35:45Speaker 2: you know, we you know, we burned the game and
- 35:47Speaker 2: release it to our past. It's over. Every bounce of
- 35:50Speaker 2: our mental energy needs to be focused on our next opponent,
- 35:54Speaker 2: which is Kentucky, which is a really good SEC team.
- 35:57Speaker 2: It's a tough team on defense, It's a team that
- 35:59Speaker 2: knows how to run the football and as exposive playmakers
- 36:02Speaker 2: on the perimeter. And you know, Mark Stoops is the
- 36:05Speaker 2: consummate program builder and they've always been a tough out
- 36:10Speaker 2: and they are going to be ready for us. I'm
- 36:13Speaker 2: sure you know they're talking about the last time we
- 36:16Speaker 2: went up there, which was twenty twenty two, and we
- 36:17Speaker 2: were able to pull off a win. Last year at
- 36:20Speaker 2: our home stadium, we spotted them twenty one points all turnovers,
- 36:24Speaker 2: which is a brutal way to play, and you know,
- 36:28Speaker 2: we we have a lot to prove in this game.
- 36:31Speaker 2: I think inevitably, right our kids are going to class
- 36:35Speaker 2: today and they're going to meet high fives and congratulations
- 36:39Speaker 2: on campus. Inevitably, there's going to be positive noise arounding
- 36:43Speaker 2: this program, which I think certainly can be a great thing.
- 36:47Speaker 2: But we have to maintain the mental focus and discipline
- 36:50Speaker 2: to realize that we can be respectful to all the
- 36:53Speaker 2: people that are again celebrating the you know, what we
- 36:58Speaker 2: put on film on Saturday and what we put on display.
- 37:01Speaker 2: But Saturday only matters now, and we'll only understand the
- 37:06Speaker 2: meeting of Saturday from reflection at the end of the season.
- 37:08Speaker 2: It only matters if we're able to leverage it and
- 37:11Speaker 2: pull momentum from it. And that means that we have
- 37:13Speaker 2: to get back in our process and attack this process
- 37:17Speaker 2: with commitment and energy so that we can be ready
- 37:20Speaker 2: to play, you know, a good game against a really
- 37:22Speaker 2: tough component on Saturday.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Last ten seconds this interview, we're just gonna clap for you. Yes,
- 37:28Speaker 1: is how we end it right here, let's go. I'm
- 37:31Speaker 1: super happy for your coach, super happy to see like
- 37:33Speaker 1: the culture. I mean, it's a Cultures are like humongous boats.
- 37:37Speaker 1: It doesn't matter the industry. It's like, yeah, it takes
- 37:39Speaker 1: a while to turn it. It's not like a little car.
- 37:41Speaker 1: It's a big old ship. And watching what you're able
- 37:45Speaker 1: to do and what you're doing is really really been
- 37:47Speaker 1: fun and motivating, even for myself. So congratulations coach. Looking
- 37:50Speaker 1: forward to you guys at Kentucky coming up, and thank
- 37:53Speaker 1: you for the for the time this morning.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Great to be with you, Bobby always man right coach.
- 37:57Speaker 3: See a coach, congrats coach you guys.
- 38:01Speaker 1: I saw the statement from the NFLPA they want to
- 38:03Speaker 1: take the media interviews out of the locker rooms. Yeah, duh,
- 38:06Speaker 1: we want to go interview somebody with a ding dong
- 38:08Speaker 1: in his hand.
- 38:08Speaker 3: No, we don't need to do that.
- 38:09Speaker 1: If I'm a player, I don't want people in the
- 38:10Speaker 1: locker room. There should be places after the game. It
- 38:13Speaker 1: should be mandatory, just like interviews are after the game.
- 38:17Speaker 1: When you're ready, you go over. It's weird that they
- 38:20Speaker 1: go into locker rooms and just stand at their locker
- 38:23Speaker 1: where the micro. Those players don't want to do that.
- 38:25Speaker 1: And again they're coming out of showers. Sometimes you get
- 38:28Speaker 1: them like little clips of butt naked in the background.
- 38:30Speaker 1: That's happened a few times.
- 38:31Speaker 3: Oh yeah, a little butt cheek.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Yeah, why this is happening still?
- 38:34Speaker 3: It is wild.
- 38:35Speaker 1: I'm a big propellent moving out of the locker room. Yeah,
- 38:38Speaker 1: it's just bizarre. Why not doing the bathroom, I'll taking
- 38:40Speaker 1: a dump. Let's just go next level with that'd be
- 38:42Speaker 1: a different take. Yeah, oh, I mean, let's just get
- 38:46Speaker 1: extremely invasive.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Then.
- 38:47Speaker 3: Hey, when I worked news. When I worked news, I
- 38:50Speaker 3: went to cover some Rangers games. Then I went to
- 38:52Speaker 3: the locker room and it's it's awkward for us. It
- 38:54Speaker 3: was awesome for everybody, me the cameraman being like and
- 38:56Speaker 3: they're looking at you like we don't really like you here.
- 38:59Speaker 1: And I'm in my under where or I'm changing. It's
- 39:02Speaker 1: the bizarre, bizarre experience for everyone.
- 39:06Speaker 3: So but but they've been doing it since.
- 39:08Speaker 1: But that doesn't mean you should always do Hey, okay, I.
- 39:10Speaker 3: Play today and then they put that little microphone.
- 39:12Speaker 1: The interview policy, they say, the NFLPA says is outdated
- 39:17Speaker 1: and immediate changes to foster more respectful and safer workplace
- 39:20Speaker 1: for all players. Yes, yeah, I think we all can
- 39:22Speaker 1: agree on that. Yes, I don't know that should just
- 39:25Speaker 1: be a safe zone.
- 39:26Speaker 3: But you know what though, I mean, I mean, I'm
- 39:27Speaker 3: thinking about it now. I think that the smaller media,
- 39:31Speaker 3: local media, that's sometimes the only time they're going to
- 39:34Speaker 3: be able to get an interview. No, they can change
- 39:36Speaker 3: the rules.
- 39:37Speaker 1: You just make sure that everybody goes to their little
- 39:42Speaker 1: flag sure area at some point. It's the same way
- 39:44Speaker 1: the lockers. They go stand as a locker with their
- 39:46Speaker 1: name because they know that's what they're going to be.
- 39:47Speaker 1: But everybody has to go and stand there for five
- 39:50Speaker 1: to seven minutes. Or if you go stand there for
- 39:53Speaker 1: three and nobody comes up to you and wants to
- 39:54Speaker 1: talk to you, just go home. So the fact they
- 39:58Speaker 1: still do that is weird because it also it then
- 40:00Speaker 1: creates the what if you're a female and you're like,
- 40:05Speaker 1: this is my job and you have to go in
- 40:06Speaker 1: and around all those dudes in a locker room. Yeah,
- 40:08Speaker 1: it's not cool, And I don't know what the rule
- 40:09Speaker 1: is the female locker room for dude reporters. No way, Like,
- 40:12Speaker 1: I don't know that rule.
- 40:13Speaker 3: It's like your road chance right.
- 40:14Speaker 5: No, wait, I don't know me neither.
- 40:16Speaker 1: You think it was weird they took the goalpost through
- 40:18Speaker 1: the city.
- 40:18Speaker 3: I think it was awesome that they took the goal.
- 40:20Speaker 1: Have you seen that before? No, we've done that before.
- 40:23Speaker 3: You guys question how did you get out of the state?
- 40:26Speaker 1: Took it out over the bleachers and threw it off
- 40:28Speaker 1: the top.
- 40:28Speaker 3: Stop. You guys walked it up the bleachers.
- 40:31Speaker 1: You can't fit it out of door. Oh yeah, we've
- 40:32Speaker 1: done that at Arkansas before.
- 40:34Speaker 3: And then you walked it down Dixon.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Huh.
- 40:36Speaker 3: That's pretty amazing.
- 40:37Speaker 5: And you did it a couple of years ago. Yeah,
- 40:38Speaker 5: in Alabama.
- 40:39Speaker 3: I've never seen it. It's unbelievable. And then they threw
- 40:41Speaker 3: in the river.
- 40:42Speaker 1: That was fine.
- 40:43Speaker 5: They're getting fine one hundred grand.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Now, well not for that, just for storming, because we
- 40:48Speaker 1: got fined two undred and fifty thousand dollars because we
- 40:50Speaker 1: stormed last year and so second offense. So yeah, who
- 40:54Speaker 1: pays that for the school? The school does, and you
- 40:56Speaker 1: have to pay it to the opposing team. Oh, a
- 40:59Speaker 1: new rule, you know, what Basically, that's why you're upset.
- 41:05Speaker 1: So yeah, So they got one hundred thousand dollars fine,
- 41:08Speaker 1: not for the goalpost, but for storming the field, and
- 41:10Speaker 1: they encourage athletic directors to keep their students on the field.
- 41:14Speaker 3: It's so hard man. Of course, once the hundred get through,
- 41:17Speaker 3: what are you going to do?
- 41:18Speaker 1: And you know you kind of want it, But storming
- 41:20Speaker 1: the court's a bigger deal. People get hurt there. You
- 41:23Speaker 1: can kind of hold people from storming the court if
- 41:25Speaker 1: you really try, because you get enough people down there.
- 41:27Speaker 1: I've stormed the field before I was brought my leg.
- 41:28Speaker 1: It was awesome, one of the great experiences in my life.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Jumping down the Miracle on Markham. We threw a Heilme
- 41:32Speaker 1: area in the back corner. The Corey Birmingham caught it.
- 41:37Speaker 1: We ran on the field. I landed on you know
- 41:39Speaker 1: those roles in the tarpa field. Yeah, I didn't see
- 41:40Speaker 1: it blowing me, landed on it. Thought I brought my leg,
- 41:43Speaker 1: dragged my leg across the field.
- 41:45Speaker 5: It was awesome.
- 41:46Speaker 3: You're dying.
- 41:47Speaker 1: It was one of the greatest. We just threw like
- 41:51Speaker 1: three helm areys in a row, hit all three of them.
- 41:54Speaker 5: Jeez.
- 41:55Speaker 3: I stormed when I was at Sammy's estate, but it
- 41:57Speaker 3: was only like one hundred people.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Is that a storm like it was a tropical depression.
- 42:04Speaker 1: I was probably hadn't seen them before. Yeah, it's super uncommon.
- 42:08Speaker 1: What they what they do now is some schools I
- 42:12Speaker 1: know we have them. As soon as the game is over,
- 42:14Speaker 1: they start to use the hydraulics on lower the goal
- 42:17Speaker 1: posts so you can't take them out of the because
- 42:19Speaker 1: I know a few Arkansas folks tried to get them up.
- 42:22Speaker 1: You can still get them if you get their own time,
- 42:24Speaker 1: but I don't think because again, that was a big
- 42:26Speaker 1: win for us, but it wasn't like monumental like Lifetime,
- 42:29Speaker 1: so we weren't like rushing the whole place. Wasn't rushing
- 42:32Speaker 1: to go tear the goalposts down. We've had those games
- 42:37Speaker 1: and because we weren't rushing, they just lowered them and
- 42:40Speaker 1: then we had a big party. It's fun. It was good,
- 42:43Speaker 1: So I was, probably you didn't see. I hadn't seen
- 42:45Speaker 1: that before.
- 42:45Speaker 3: I've never seen before.
- 42:46Speaker 2: I loved it.
- 42:46Speaker 1: I've stormed the field. I stormed the field once at
- 42:49Speaker 1: Arkansas we beat Alabama and I got on the jumbo tron.
- 42:51Speaker 1: It's pretty cool, and I didn't know what to do
- 42:53Speaker 1: once I got out there, so I just started like,
- 42:55Speaker 1: because you lose, everybody don't matter who you went. And
- 42:59Speaker 1: I don't even know. I think it was me and
- 43:00Speaker 1: a couple of buddies went to the game, drove up
- 43:02Speaker 1: from I was living probably in Arkansas, probably going to college.
- 43:07Speaker 1: We drove up to the game. If I'm trying to think,
- 43:09Speaker 1: and I remember, we're like, let's go to as we
- 43:10Speaker 1: go to the back of the end zone and as
- 43:12Speaker 1: soon as they game game's over, we took off right
- 43:15Speaker 1: and everybody's running and if you fall, you get trampled.
- 43:18Speaker 1: I mean it looks like soccer meets like bull fighting.
- 43:22Speaker 1: It's mayhem. But I got to the middle the film
- 43:24Speaker 1: whe all the players were. Then I didn't know what
- 43:25Speaker 1: to do. And it wasn't like we had phones taking
- 43:27Speaker 1: all these pictures at the time. And I remember, you know,
- 43:29Speaker 1: you take two fists and you like a kid just
- 43:31Speaker 1: hits on a table.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:32Speaker 1: I just remember going, I don't know what backup lineman
- 43:34Speaker 1: it was. I just saw him looking the other way
- 43:36Speaker 1: and I just was like doing that to his shoulder pads,
- 43:38Speaker 1: like yeah, And then I was like, where's everybody at
- 43:42Speaker 1: I'm by myself.
- 43:43Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what it was.
- 43:44Speaker 1: Hello, And then we never made a plan to go
- 43:46Speaker 1: meet back. So then it was like you're just like
- 43:48Speaker 1: looking at now what is a while?
- 43:51Speaker 3: I was surprised. It's funny to see the Vandy guys
- 43:53Speaker 3: storm because it's like you can tell they're so smart
- 43:56Speaker 3: because most of them we're going using the stairs, you know,
- 43:59Speaker 3: well a couple andiots were jumping.
- 44:00Speaker 1: They're building slides. The engineered there Tennessee. During the Arkansas game,
- 44:07Speaker 1: let us score so they could try to score. And
- 44:11Speaker 1: so you know, we ran like a RPO, like an
- 44:15Speaker 1: option play with our backup quarterback and he runs in.
- 44:17Speaker 1: They're all pumped and they go back to the replay
- 44:19Speaker 1: and maybe the safety did it ola and let him
- 44:24Speaker 1: go out.
- 44:24Speaker 3: Oh I saw that.
- 44:26Speaker 1: But that's why, like I think, had we just kept
- 44:29Speaker 1: the ball, we had to kick the field goal or
- 44:31Speaker 1: attempted to kick the field goal like an eighteen yard
- 44:33Speaker 1: or probably one. But Hypel trusted his quarterback, and you
- 44:36Speaker 1: know what he should have because they almost freaking did it.
- 44:39Speaker 1: I know, I mean, I don't know. Again, he wasn't
- 44:42Speaker 1: His awareness was not a ninety nine. Had it been
- 44:45Speaker 1: NCAA football like college football, because again he just ran
- 44:49Speaker 1: a bounce.
- 44:49Speaker 5: I don't understand that.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I just don't thought there was a couple of
- 44:52Speaker 1: seconds on the clog. But we shut him down. We
- 44:55Speaker 1: shout an eco down all.
- 44:55Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah, he didn't have a good game at all.
- 44:57Speaker 1: Again, but he did that like forty yard pass. We
- 45:00Speaker 1: were like, oh god, here we go again. Yeah, we'll
- 45:02Speaker 1: do this personal stories around the room. I'm very happy
- 45:05Speaker 1: with a win. Hope we get a couple more big ones.
- 45:07Speaker 1: If we can get seven eight wins a season, set
- 45:09Speaker 1: us up for a good, good season next year. A
- 45:12Speaker 1: lot of folks be coming back next year. That'd be awesome.
- 45:14Speaker 3: I enjoy it, man, enjoy it.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Be happy.
- 45:18Speaker 1: I'm not not happy about the game. I just don't
- 45:20Speaker 1: enjoy many things I was. You would have thought I
- 45:23Speaker 1: was on the team. A bout my phone blowing up?
- 45:24Speaker 1: I like that.
- 45:25Speaker 3: How many texts did you get?
- 45:27Speaker 2: And think?
- 45:27Speaker 3: Thanks for responding to mind.
- 45:28Speaker 1: I don't know you sent it though I was in
- 45:30Speaker 1: bed already. If you were, I think I sent it
- 45:32Speaker 1: right after it ended. Oh maybe not.
- 45:33Speaker 3: Trust me, I'm not gonna send it before it ended.
- 45:35Speaker 1: They were coming hot and heavy, so I don't know,
- 45:37Speaker 1: and I didn't respond to most of them because they
- 45:40Speaker 1: all came at once and I was like, oh God,
- 45:41Speaker 1: what I do.
- 45:41Speaker 3: Although you know, I didn't get a h I thought
- 45:43Speaker 3: it was funny, but.
- 45:44Speaker 1: Just say something like we're going to Favville.
- 45:45Speaker 3: I said, let's go to Faybeville right now. You go
- 45:47Speaker 3: tear down the goal post.
- 45:48Speaker 1: You did it, wasn't it. That wasn't funny.
- 45:50Speaker 3: That's funny, dude, because the bandy just did it. So
- 45:52Speaker 3: I'm like, let's go right now, I'll drive.
- 45:55Speaker 5: Not funny on Monday, but Saturday.
- 45:57Speaker 3: Night was I don't know.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Did you get a ha ha? I didn't ha ha,
- 46:02Speaker 1: but you did say hell of a game or something.
- 46:04Speaker 1: I didn't say that then good game? Or I don't know,
- 46:07Speaker 1: did I respond, what a great game? Like all my
- 46:09Speaker 1: razorback friends like, this is Matt still. I don't know
- 46:10Speaker 1: what he said here, but he sent a video right
- 46:12Speaker 1: in the game.
- 46:12Speaker 2: It did.
- 46:22Speaker 3: I felt that is he even a steak.
- 46:24Speaker 1: He's literally just got the screen behind him screaming, Ah.
- 46:28Speaker 3: That's awesome, Eddie.
- 46:29Speaker 1: That's what I said back to Eddie.
- 46:31Speaker 3: Yeah, you're like, what a game?
- 46:32Speaker 1: I think he said, I said, what a game. He said,
- 46:33Speaker 1: let's go, baby, let's go to FABE and turn on
- 46:35Speaker 1: that goal post right now. I sent that at ten
- 46:37Speaker 1: twenty six. At ten twenty seven, is a what a game?
- 46:40Speaker 1: No exclamation points? Is what a game? I was just
- 46:41Speaker 1: trying to hit everybody back.
- 46:42Speaker 5: I know he's calling paste and everything.
- 46:46Speaker 1: What a game?
- 46:49Speaker 5: Different tones of what a game?
- 46:51Speaker 1: Okay, so that's me. It was a good weekend for Arkansas. Yeah,
- 46:54Speaker 1: Eddie Cowboys.
- 46:55Speaker 3: Cowboys wan is awesome. It is a late game, but gosh,
- 46:58Speaker 3: they just still don't look the way I want them
- 47:01Speaker 3: to look. The defense look better, but uh, offense Man's like,
- 47:05Speaker 3: we just we just don't have a running game. We
- 47:07Speaker 3: don't dack through two interceptions. As soon as he gets pressure,
- 47:11Speaker 3: he panics. It was just I don't know, It's just
- 47:13Speaker 3: a lot of bad stuff. But we won the game,
- 47:14Speaker 3: so I'll take it.
- 47:15Speaker 1: Question because I fell asleep because lightning delay, and I
- 47:18Speaker 1: was like, there's no need for me to even I'm
- 47:19Speaker 1: not going to see the end of it, so why
- 47:20Speaker 1: am I watching any of Yeah, the end was the best,
- 47:22Speaker 1: and I bet I put five hundred bucks in the
- 47:24Speaker 1: Cowboys plus two and a half because they were underdogs,
- 47:27Speaker 1: which is pretty interesting.
- 47:28Speaker 3: Yeah, two point underdogs.
- 47:30Speaker 1: I bet to only two.
- 47:31Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah two and a half.
- 47:32Speaker 1: I just I just said to a half, right right, sorry,
- 47:34Speaker 1: like literally one second you said that.
- 47:36Speaker 3: Yeah, well I know you got a live live better.
- 47:39Speaker 1: It wasn't that. It wasn't life.
- 47:40Speaker 3: You never know.
- 47:40Speaker 1: It's pretty because because it's lighting delay, right, correct?
- 47:43Speaker 3: Remember that an hour and a half?
- 47:44Speaker 1: Yeah, oh is it that long?
- 47:45Speaker 2: It was long.
- 47:46Speaker 3: It was very long.
- 47:47Speaker 1: I went to bed, but I woke up and I
- 47:50Speaker 1: just saw CD and Dack fighting again. Yeah, that chemistry
- 47:53Speaker 1: is something's wrong.
- 47:53Speaker 3: Something's wrong there. It looks like CD is upset a
- 47:57Speaker 3: Dack for something. But it's not like Dak is a
- 48:00Speaker 3: noring CD is just he's not open and when he
- 48:04Speaker 3: is open with he throws in the ball and he
- 48:06Speaker 3: makes a play out of it. Like I don't know
- 48:08Speaker 3: what's I don't know what's going on there, and I
- 48:10Speaker 3: don't know what CD is expecting from from Dak out
- 48:12Speaker 3: of this, but there's definitely frustration.
- 48:15Speaker 1: CD needs another receiver.
- 48:17Speaker 3: CD is yelling at Dak and this is the videos
- 48:20Speaker 3: that we see are the clips that we see, and
- 48:21Speaker 3: Dak is just ignoring it. Like Dak is looking like
- 48:24Speaker 3: there's no one talking to me right now. CED's yelling
- 48:27Speaker 3: something at him every time.
- 48:29Speaker 1: Some receivers though, claim to be opening and if they're
- 48:31Speaker 1: not correct, yes, like all I just throw and if
- 48:34Speaker 1: there's nobody, I don't know.
- 48:35Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. I think I'm glad you guys won,
- 48:37Speaker 3: though we needed that win for sure.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Yeah it was late against a decent team too. Yeah,
- 48:42Speaker 1: decent team.
- 48:42Speaker 3: I didn't think we'd win it.
- 48:43Speaker 1: Uh, let's go over to the Jets New York casey.
- 48:46Speaker 1: Uh yeah, I mean I watched the second half of
- 48:49Speaker 1: the games. I woke up and watched it. God, Aaron
- 48:51Speaker 1: Rodgers did not look good.
- 48:53Speaker 7: No, it's just one of those games where it's like
- 48:55Speaker 7: I don't know, maybe I'm not a good fan, but
- 48:57Speaker 7: when it was seventeen to nothing, I was just like,
- 48:59Speaker 7: like I just want to to be like thirty four
- 49:00Speaker 7: to three. And then that way it's like, you know,
- 49:02Speaker 7: like it's just the blowout and I accepted. But I
- 49:04Speaker 7: feel in the Jets right there's like, you know, though,
- 49:07Speaker 7: there's like a turnover and you know Sam Darnold's not
- 49:10Speaker 7: playing a great game. Aaron Jones goes out with a
- 49:12Speaker 7: hip injury and you know, we get the ball, we
- 49:15Speaker 7: have the opportunity to go and score, and then he
- 49:17Speaker 7: throws his third interception of the game. I mean, I
- 49:20Speaker 7: don't think it was p I some people online were
- 49:22Speaker 7: complaining about that.
- 49:23Speaker 1: I don't either think it was fine enough.
- 49:25Speaker 7: Yeah, it's not that that was not It wasn't where
- 49:28Speaker 7: my head was going out at that point.
- 49:29Speaker 3: It's just, you know, I don't. I mean, it's the same,
- 49:32Speaker 3: it's just the same old Jets and.
- 49:38Speaker 7: So yeah, Breese Hall twenty nine yards offense is just
- 49:43Speaker 7: so unimaginative. It's just like I formation, just go straight
- 49:46Speaker 7: into the line and maybe you'll break a tackle.
- 49:49Speaker 3: I know.
- 49:49Speaker 7: Garrett Wilson had a big game. He had thirteen receptions
- 49:52Speaker 7: for one hundred and one yards. But when you think
- 49:53Speaker 7: about that, thirteen divided by one oh one, is that
- 49:55Speaker 7: like seven yards of reception. Because Aaron Rodgers had like
- 49:58Speaker 7: no time to throw, it had to be these little
- 50:00Speaker 7: quick throws, quick slants, and then Garrett Wilson, if you
- 50:02Speaker 7: went like he would fall down on the floor. I
- 50:04Speaker 7: don't know if you notice that every time you would
- 50:06Speaker 7: catch the ball, he would fall on the floor.
- 50:07Speaker 3: Like the wind's harder. London, I guess. I don't know.
- 50:10Speaker 3: I'm just like I.
- 50:11Speaker 1: Wonder if he was like dehydrated from long flight. He's
- 50:13Speaker 1: older maybe, man, I don't know, but he's crawling.
- 50:16Speaker 3: Yeah, he looked old. He looked old. It just the
- 50:19Speaker 3: whole thing is a disaster.
- 50:20Speaker 7: Another again, eight penalties for like seventy six yards or
- 50:24Speaker 7: something like that.
- 50:24Speaker 3: Don't quote me on that, but it was.
- 50:25Speaker 7: It was something bad, and just this whole solid thing
- 50:28Speaker 7: is just like I don't really get what we're doing,
- 50:31Speaker 7: Like if we're trying to go all in on this season,
- 50:33Speaker 7: I mean, I think we got to make some kind
- 50:35Speaker 7: of move soon, like get just get rid of him,
- 50:38Speaker 7: or if he's willing to, like be demoted to a
- 50:39Speaker 7: defensive cord, which I know.
- 50:41Speaker 3: He's interesting, I'm willing I will.
- 50:44Speaker 1: I still think you can win the division, though, I
- 50:46Speaker 1: mean with Buffalo not winning, let's just let's just lay
- 50:48Speaker 1: it out. The Patriots suck good for you. You need to
- 50:51Speaker 1: suck harder, like that's the goal. Suck as poss Okay, okay, okay,
- 50:54Speaker 1: all right, no offense. You want to suck as hardly
- 50:56Speaker 1: possible gain Now. I'm not going to say those words
- 50:59Speaker 1: out of my mouth, but yes, yeah, it's advantageous to
- 51:02Speaker 1: you to continue to lose every game, Yes it is,
- 51:04Speaker 1: but you don't want to root for that because that
- 51:05Speaker 1: is hard.
- 51:06Speaker 5: It's hard, really hard.
- 51:08Speaker 1: So Dolphins, if to A doesn't come back, they are awful.
- 51:12Speaker 3: They're done.
- 51:14Speaker 1: H got gets hurt there. I mean, they're awful.
- 51:17Speaker 3: I forgot Muster was still in that team, though it
- 51:19Speaker 3: doesn't matter, it doesn't matter. That was surprising me.
- 51:22Speaker 1: So there's two teams that are not going to be
- 51:25Speaker 1: in the race, the Bills that are up and down,
- 51:27Speaker 1: the Jets up and down.
- 51:28Speaker 3: Play the Monday night coming up, so that is a
- 51:30Speaker 3: big game.
- 51:32Speaker 1: So I do think definitely if you guys made a
- 51:34Speaker 1: move or or they finally found that fountain for Rogers,
- 51:39Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, he liked really he.
- 51:44Speaker 3: Got his ankle rolled up on and then.
- 51:46Speaker 1: I did think he was. I did think he might
- 51:47Speaker 1: be done again.
- 51:48Speaker 3: Oh I thought I was. My friends were just.
- 51:51Speaker 1: Like, I think he might be done again. Yeah yeah,
- 51:53Speaker 1: So yeah that was great.
- 51:54Speaker 7: I mean, at least QS one against U n LB
- 51:56Speaker 7: and then you know, big Yankee win on Saturday. So
- 51:59Speaker 7: I had some nice stuff. But you know, leave it
- 52:01Speaker 7: to the Jets to wake up first thing in Sunday,
- 52:04Speaker 7: morning and you know that you Thay Friday, Friday night.
- 52:08Speaker 1: They live in row. Now, No, that was their first
- 52:11Speaker 1: loss when a game is not on a Saturday or Sunday.
- 52:14Speaker 1: I forget two weekends. I was like, dang, they lost,
- 52:17Speaker 1: that's the game they lost that that uh that targeting
- 52:22Speaker 1: call was bull crap. That's that game, right, the targeting
- 52:26Speaker 1: call you go over? Did it go to overtime?
- 52:28Speaker 3: It did?
- 52:30Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 52:30Speaker 5: I think it did like three?
- 52:33Speaker 1: Yeah, Okay, yeah, I watch. I know I watched a
- 52:35Speaker 1: lot of the game. I don't remember, but it's not
- 52:36Speaker 1: a Saturday. It feels like a Sunday. Bro, I don't
- 52:39Speaker 1: know what's happening, dude.
- 52:41Speaker 3: By today I've watched.
- 52:42Speaker 1: I even't tweeted about that game.
- 52:44Speaker 3: I've watched so much football, like by today that I haven't.
- 52:47Speaker 3: I forget, like what I just what I watched this weekend.
- 52:50Speaker 1: What do you saybout the Patriots?
- 52:51Speaker 5: They suck? Continue sucking. Don't put in Drake May, don't
- 52:55Speaker 5: Kobe Is. I mean, he's not very good, but he's
- 52:58Speaker 5: just taking a beating back there. So let him keep
- 53:00Speaker 5: taking that beating. Yeah, and keep sucking and let's go
- 53:03Speaker 5: get a tackle next year?
- 53:05Speaker 1: Is that what you want yeah, oh yeah, or would
- 53:07Speaker 1: you know, if you're one of the top three picks,
- 53:10Speaker 1: trade it down get a tackle, but also I mean.
- 53:13Speaker 5: And maybe get a draft pick. Yeah, that's okay too,
- 53:16Speaker 5: depends how good the tackles are coming out.
- 53:18Speaker 1: I don't think he Hays gonna get another quarterback. I'm
- 53:19Speaker 1: not saying that. Oh no, a Carson backer should or Sanders.
- 53:22Speaker 2: Well.
- 53:22Speaker 5: I saw somebody today said that they want to get
- 53:24Speaker 5: Travis Hunter, and I'm like, why. I get he's really good, but.
- 53:28Speaker 1: That's pretty cool. He'll be pretty cool. Yeah, he can
- 53:30Speaker 1: play defense. I mean, he's probably gonna play corner.
- 53:33Speaker 5: But then we still get sacked, right, we need a tackle.
- 53:37Speaker 1: You're right, You're right. Okay, Mike didn't go another breaker
- 53:39Speaker 1: now because I got a couple other things.
- 53:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I go to one real quick.
- 53:41Speaker 1: I just take a quick break and then I've been
- 53:44Speaker 1: dying to know something.
- 53:44Speaker 2: All right. Thanks.
- 53:45Speaker 1: We love football season. The best part is watching the game.

- 55:19Speaker 1: what would you do, ja cashaw he bet a dollar
- 55:22Speaker 1: on a ten game parlay on DraftKings in games one
- 55:25Speaker 1: dollar and that isn't rare for him to do because
- 55:27Speaker 1: he'll do that.
- 55:28Speaker 3: That's my that's my unit.
- 55:29Speaker 1: But it's rare that he's like in it. Still, it
- 55:31Speaker 1: was like very over left.
- 55:33Speaker 3: It's I'm so rare that I go to my wife
- 55:35Speaker 3: every week and I'm like, oh my gosh, look at this.
- 55:37Speaker 3: I've won five games and I got four lefts. She's
- 55:39Speaker 3: just like just stop, like, just let me know whenever
- 55:41Speaker 3: you win something.
- 55:42Speaker 1: So one dollar win three hundred and thirty five dollars, Okay,
- 55:44Speaker 1: that's what it was. As the noon games began, Eddie
- 55:47Speaker 1: had hit six of them and it was offering a
- 55:49Speaker 1: cash out of thirty dollars. So that's thirty units. Not
- 55:53Speaker 1: bad for a dollar it's awesome for you. You can't
- 55:56Speaker 1: look at as a dollars. You got to look at
- 55:57Speaker 1: it as your multiply sure times thirty.
- 56:00Speaker 3: Yeah, what is that called return on investment r O?
- 56:03Speaker 1: I was magnificent. Okay, so, but when we were talking
- 56:08Speaker 1: it was more than that. It was like one hundred dollars.
- 56:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:11Speaker 3: Once I hit, Once I hit the noon games, I
- 56:13Speaker 3: was like, oh my gosh, we're going into four three
- 56:15Speaker 3: o'clock games, and what's the cash out? It's seventy.
- 56:20Speaker 1: So Eddie hits us with this image and he goes,
- 56:21Speaker 1: what should you do? Kevin goes, let it ride. I
- 56:23Speaker 1: said I would cash out and then re bet some
- 56:25Speaker 1: of it like a hedge.
- 56:26Speaker 3: Smart. I like that. You like Bobby's. I like Bobby's. See,
- 56:29Speaker 3: I liked yours too. I just didn't. I didn't understand it.
- 56:32Speaker 1: All you have to do is hit.
- 56:33Speaker 3: Sounds good?
- 56:33Speaker 1: Oh no, no, I said, I say cash out and then
- 56:37Speaker 1: bet like half of your winnings.
- 56:39Speaker 3: So cash out, seventy bet twenty thirty on those three.
- 56:42Speaker 1: Is the same parlay and if you lose it, you
- 56:44Speaker 1: still made fifty bucks.
- 56:45Speaker 3: Yeah, but if I hit it, but if you hit
- 56:47Speaker 3: but see, if I bet it live though at that
- 56:49Speaker 3: point all those odds have changed.
- 56:51Speaker 1: Okay, but you can bet whatever you want.
- 56:52Speaker 5: You can be that night game, the Cowboys game then.
- 56:54Speaker 1: But I just didn't want you to go through all
- 56:56Speaker 1: of that and then lose it all.
- 56:58Speaker 3: So I would say, like ten minutes after I texted you, guys,
- 57:01Speaker 3: there was really one game that was in question.
- 57:04Speaker 1: You said, I don't I say cash out and you said, uh, Mike,
- 57:07Speaker 1: because I don't trust the forty nine ers.
- 57:09Speaker 3: Correct, And they were winning that game that game, and
- 57:12Speaker 3: so I was like, that's the game that I'm worried about.
- 57:15Speaker 1: Okay, what you do?
- 57:16Speaker 3: So I let it ride?
- 57:18Speaker 1: Oh my god, you lost it all. I let it ride,
- 57:21Speaker 1: and then no, there's no one. Then if you d
- 57:24Speaker 1: there's an end, then I let it ride. The Cardinals win,
- 57:28Speaker 1: and the last game red Zone goes to is the
- 57:31Speaker 1: Rams making a run and I had the Packers winning
- 57:33Speaker 1: the game. Wait did you have the Cardinals winning?
- 57:35Speaker 3: I had the Cardinals the plus seven and a half,
- 57:37Speaker 3: so they were clear, okay, but.
- 57:39Speaker 5: They were the Niners were by like ten when you
- 57:40Speaker 5: text us first.
- 57:41Speaker 1: But letting it ride made you let to ride. There's
- 57:42Speaker 1: something else that happens.
- 57:44Speaker 3: Well, yeah, the games kept going. Then the Rams were
- 57:48Speaker 3: making a run to win that game. But letting it
- 57:49Speaker 3: ride means you let it ride all the way out.
- 57:50Speaker 3: I think you're just getting your terms mixcess. Let it ride.
- 57:52Speaker 1: I let it.
- 57:53Speaker 3: I didn't cash out at all.
- 57:56Speaker 1: No, at that point, I know, but if you did
- 57:58Speaker 1: any point, it's not called letting it ride.
- 58:00Speaker 3: Talking about when I texted you guys, but that's okay.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 58:04Speaker 7: So did you have the Cardinals of the forty nine?
- 58:06Speaker 7: I had thought you had had the Cardinals plus seven
- 58:08Speaker 7: and a half. They covered, they covered.
- 58:10Speaker 1: They won, they won the game, go ahead, and one
- 58:12Speaker 1: you have in the last game.
- 58:13Speaker 3: And then I'm like, oh we got this baby. Change
- 58:16Speaker 3: the channel. Oh my gosh, the Packers are gonna blow this.
- 58:18Speaker 3: Here come the Rams. I have the Packers to win
- 58:21Speaker 3: money line. That is my last thing to do. At
- 58:24Speaker 3: that point, the cash out was two hundred dollars. You
- 58:29Speaker 3: better cash out twos. I'm like, oh my goodness, I
- 58:35Speaker 3: need to take the two hundred dollars. So what did
- 58:37Speaker 3: I do? I let Yeah.
- 58:42Speaker 5: I was like, it's a dollar.
- 58:45Speaker 3: I'm not gonna miss you.
- 58:46Speaker 1: Dollar that gets you in trouble, though, for sure, I'm
- 58:52Speaker 1: happy for you. I want to punch in the face.
- 58:54Speaker 3: But I'm happy for youty five dollars three million units
- 59:00Speaker 3: a dollar. Guys, my wife lets me bet fifty dollars
- 59:04Speaker 3: a month. That was my last dollar the month of October.
- 59:07Speaker 3: I had a boy, Eddie.
- 59:08Speaker 1: That's awesome. First week. I'm happy for you. But that's
- 59:12Speaker 1: that's bad news.
- 59:13Speaker 3: What what what? What's bad?
- 59:14Speaker 1: You start? You need to start to getting now, Laura laverybuddy,
- 59:16Speaker 1: it worked out for you this time.
- 59:18Speaker 3: Oh dude, I mean I hit every single game.
- 59:22Speaker 1: We should respect that.
- 59:23Speaker 3: Yeah, it's unbelievable. And thankfully when I was because I
- 59:26Speaker 3: do it. After church, I got a church. I praise
- 59:28Speaker 3: the Lord, not that big lor. No, I go to church.
- 59:33Speaker 3: As soon as I get back to the bar, I
- 59:35Speaker 3: tell I get the keys of my wife, like you drive,
- 59:36Speaker 3: I'm making my bets. And so I looked at that one.
- 59:39Speaker 3: I'm like, man, I don't know about this Raven Cincinnati game,
- 59:43Speaker 3: Like I just I don't know. I don't know. So
- 59:45Speaker 3: I'm just gonna do the over. That was the best
- 59:50Speaker 3: I've ever done.
- 59:51Speaker 1: Congratulate you deserve it. I deserve it. Thank you, you
- 59:55Speaker 1: deserve it.
- 59:55Speaker 3: What do I do now?
- 59:56Speaker 2: Though?
- 59:57Speaker 1: That nothing. You just take your money, take it out,
- 59:58Speaker 1: put it in.
- 59:59Speaker 3: Do I cash it?
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: So do?
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: I called DraftKings like Reid did and say, hey, block me.
- 1:00:03Speaker 5: I'm way too much.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I say you get a ten gamer go and put
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: that three hundred dollars on that.
- 1:00:10Speaker 5: Now that's a lot of units.
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: I did go a little heavy on the Cowboys last
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: night because I had some bank. Yeah, yeah, I have,
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: but ten dollars. Man, let's go. Would you bet for
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: them to win? Money line?
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, that's good. Don't get cocky, though, don't
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: don't start to betting more than you normally do just
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: because you want it.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: It's hard.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: That's cool.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: Thank you guys.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: That was awesome.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: That's a fun game to win. Okay, So I have
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: something here I was going to do I was going
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: to do on this show. Let me look it up
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: real quick. By the way, I wanted to say thanks
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: everybody who's been messaging, because I said at the end
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: of the last whistles, if you got to the end
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: of this, let me know, because I don't really even
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: know who listens. I've got a lot of messages, a lot,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: all right, yes, so thank you for listening. So let's
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: see I'm gonna type this in what I have in
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: front of me. Here is a pack of eighty six Fleer.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: It's unopened eighty six. So the reason that the eighty
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: six Fleer is very valuable is because eighty six Fleer
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: is the Jordan Rookie card. Oh so this one pack
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: of cards is probably twelve cards. This one pack of
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: small cards, twelve cards cost me nine hundred dollars.
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: Gee, i'm getting PTSD. I'm getting New York from New
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: York Fanatics.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Yes, oh, that was a bad one. That's like ten
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: thousand dollars. So there are a lot of cards that
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: are actually of value. There's a Chemolajuan rookie. There's a
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Patrick Ewing rookie. There's a Karl Malone rookie, Charles Barkley rookie.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: There's a Michael Jordan sticker.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: That's pretty awesome.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: So, and I was going to try to find here
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: we go, how much they were if you were to
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: buy read would you look and see if you can
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: find how much If you get a Jordan Rookie, by
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: the way, and you grade it and it ends up
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: grading out at a eight or nine, it's worth like
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: twenty five thousand dollars.
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, that's a good return.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Like if you get a Jordan rookie and it's a seven,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: it's gonna be like eight thousand dollars if it grades
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: at a seven.
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: Hey, and some of these old packs bones like a.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Ten's worth one hundred and eighty thousand dollars.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: What are the odds of them being a ten in
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: the old pack like that?
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: Not great? But even being one at all?
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: Not great?
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Right, you're talking about there may be one in a box,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: maybe two? So but I have I bought three of
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: these packs. I'm just gonna open one of them now.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: The other two that you haven't opened yet, no, so hey,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: good luck, man, I.
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: Hope they're not.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna open it right here, Yo, you're gonna open
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: it right now? Yeah, oh my god, I'm gonna have
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: reading shoot over my shoulder though, let me shoot over
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: your shoulder and okay, So the Michael Jordan should we
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: leave just amid Michael Jordan? Uh non graded is at
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: about four thousand dollars.
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: It's amazing.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: The sticker's worth about a thousand bucks. The Charles Barkley's
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: worth a few hundred bucks. So I'm gonna open it.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: You call over the top and you and you again.
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: You paid five hundred nine hundred.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: This little pack.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: Don't react, don't.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Let me know read. I'm gonna talk you good.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: All right.

- 1:03:27Speaker 3: Come on, baby, okay, come on, careful of the corners.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Okay, okay. On the back it is an Isaiah Thomas.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: Although this has been in the pack so long that's
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: kind of dirty. But oh I saw the next card
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: to Derek Harper too. Okay, Oh it's sticking to the
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: car just well. Yeah, they've been in this package. Nineteen
