- 1:36Speaker 1: but if you could do it, we would very much
- 1:38Speaker 1: appreciate it. So thank you in fan thank you. Okay,
- 1:43Speaker 1: before we get into the recap of this truly scintulating,
- 1:47Speaker 1: an engrossing episode totally of Sister Wives, I do have
- 1:51Speaker 1: to ask you, Beatrice, whether you have any takeaways.
- 1:54Speaker 2: My only takeaway is that Christine biting her lip in
- 1:58Speaker 2: her conversation with Cody was turbo mega ultra cringe.
- 2:03Speaker 1: It was too much.
- 2:06Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 2:06Speaker 1: It's maybe she doesn't know that she's doing that.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I don't know, man, I bite my lip all the time,
- 2:12Speaker 2: but I'm not doing it sexily like that, like like leaning.
- 2:18Speaker 1: She did lean over the table with her with her
- 2:21Speaker 1: husband to her left and her old husband. Rather she's
- 2:25Speaker 1: leaning over, biting her life, listening, making that eye contact.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I was just like that. Make it stop. Please please
- 2:32Speaker 1: don't do this I'm uncomfy.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I had to look away.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Yes, well I had to take away too, Okay. And
- 2:38Speaker 1: my takeaway is a question, which is like, why are
- 2:42Speaker 1: we going to name this whole episode with the name
- 2:45Speaker 1: of this episode was the title what if we worked
- 2:47Speaker 1: this out? What if we worked this out? Which refers
- 2:51Speaker 1: to Janelle getting asked this question by her random friends
- 2:55Speaker 1: that we are seeing again this week for some reason
- 2:58Speaker 1: that is beyond me, asking her whether she ever thought
- 3:01Speaker 1: about me me getting back together with Cody and so
- 3:04Speaker 1: we as viewers, we're set up and it was a cliffhanger. Yeah,
- 3:07Speaker 1: last week it was. They asked the question, We're supposed
- 3:10Speaker 1: to come back this week for Janelle's riveting answer, only
- 3:14Speaker 1: to have her not even answer the question. She acknowledges
- 3:18Speaker 1: thinking the thing of course I thought of that, Yeah,
- 3:21Speaker 1: but no answer. And she also didn't answer about her kids. No,
- 3:24Speaker 1: she did not, And I'm just like, what's production doing?
- 3:28Speaker 1: Why would you set us up to wait for the
- 3:31Speaker 1: answer only to give us absolutely nothing. It's symbolic of
- 3:35Speaker 1: the entire season, season twenty of Sister Wives. It's absolutely nothing.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Going on, absolutely nothing. I was talking to Ethel about
- 3:41Speaker 2: it today and she said this whole episode could have
- 3:44Speaker 2: just been an email, it.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Could have been a text.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Honestly, just don't understand.
- 3:50Speaker 1: So that was just me. I'm just like, I don't
- 3:51Speaker 1: know what's happening here. But okay, okay, this is what
- 3:55Speaker 1: we're doing.
- 3:55Speaker 2: This is what we're doing.
- 3:56Speaker 1: So without further ado, then let's get into the recap
- 3:59Speaker 1: of Wives season twenty, episode twelve, entitled again, what.
- 4:03Speaker 2: What if we worked this out?
- 4:04Speaker 1: What if we worked it out? What if the yeah,
- 4:06Speaker 1: you gotta think about it, yeah, and then answer their
- 4:08Speaker 1: question say yes or no. Oh.
- 4:12Speaker 2: But we start off the episode with Cody running through
- 4:15Speaker 2: the forests in his backyard and Flagstaff working out training
- 4:19Speaker 2: hard for Special Forces, and his little visor where you
- 4:23Speaker 2: could see, uh, all of the real estate, the real
- 4:27Speaker 2: cult a sack it's really cold. A sac it's truly wonderful,
- 4:31Speaker 2: the bald a sac it's really great. I did enjoy that.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Yes, he looks ridiculous. Yep, he's very proud of himself.
- 4:38Speaker 1: He didn't mention Special Forces, but we all know that's
- 4:41Speaker 1: what he's training for. And you know what, I give
- 4:43Speaker 1: him props. He's fifty five to fifty six at the
- 4:46Speaker 1: time of this filming. He's doing great. Yeah, okay, he does.
- 4:49Speaker 1: He wants to age gracefully, he wants to take care
- 4:52Speaker 1: of his bones. Yeah, it's very important. And plus he's
- 4:56Speaker 1: married to a haughtie who happens to be ten years
- 4:59Speaker 1: young eleven actually eleven years sold. He's got to take
- 5:02Speaker 1: care of himself. Yeah, because he's going to please his mama.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Sitas young wife.
- 5:07Speaker 1: I'm a mama, Oh my god. And so it's just
- 5:09Speaker 1: cringe from the very beginning. And when we start an
- 5:12Speaker 1: episode in flag Staff, I'm already pissed, Yeah, because I
- 5:16Speaker 1: hate these people so much. Oh, we're starting here. That
- 5:19Speaker 1: makes me very upset.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Yep.
- 5:21Speaker 1: But then here comes Robin trundling into the garage having
- 5:25Speaker 1: heard her husband doing pull ups or whatever, Yeah, to
- 5:28Speaker 1: have some forced scripted converse about North Carolina. What did
- 5:33Speaker 1: you think of that?
- 5:34Speaker 2: Well, I'm just like, why are we talking about North Carolina?
- 5:36Speaker 2: As if Robin wasn't there.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Apparently you were there. Apparently she went they saw you
- 5:41Speaker 1: in Gatlinburg, So why you lie in?
- 5:43Speaker 2: I know, Like, okay, but we're going to talk about
- 5:45Speaker 2: it like you weren't there, like you didn't know the
- 5:47Speaker 2: contents of this conversation. Cody's like, yeah, it was great,
- 5:50Speaker 2: it went off without a hitch. But you know, Christine,
- 5:54Speaker 2: I got to go talk to her next and it
- 5:56Speaker 2: could be a wild card, it could be volatile, could
- 5:59Speaker 2: be me. I'm just preparing for the worst.
- 6:01Speaker 1: And it's like, fuck you, fuck you for real, I'm
- 6:04Speaker 1: just thank you forever.
- 6:05Speaker 2: It.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Of course it's gonna be strange. You absolutely were abusive
- 6:08Speaker 1: to her verbally on national television. Yeah, and so she's
- 6:12Speaker 1: upset about it, and now she's suing you too.
- 6:14Speaker 2: It's so stupid. And then he says something about like
- 6:16Speaker 2: he had to get prayerful to be able to forgive them.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Explain that to me. What do you think he meant
- 6:22Speaker 1: by that?
- 6:23Speaker 2: I mean, that's some bullshit, like I had to pray
- 6:25Speaker 2: to God so that way I could forgive in order
- 6:29Speaker 2: to apologize because it was their fault, right, But I'll
- 6:33Speaker 2: apologize for it.
- 6:34Speaker 1: But I have to forgive them for I have to
- 6:36Speaker 1: forgive them because I can't say I'm sorry unless I
- 6:38Speaker 1: forgive them. So it's just a roundabout way to continue
- 6:42Speaker 1: to blame these women for all of your problems.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I just I'm so over it. And then you
- 6:47Speaker 2: have this weird comment from Robin like while she's watching
- 6:50Speaker 2: her hot old husband work out. Sorry, but she's like
- 6:57Speaker 2: watching him work out, and she's like, you know, I'm
- 6:59Speaker 2: not even like dad attracted to the fact that he
- 7:01Speaker 2: works out or that he's strong and buff and hot.
- 7:04Speaker 2: It's actually the most attracted thing about him is when
- 7:06Speaker 2: he's a good dad, which is kind of insane.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Isn't that crazy? Because you know, he's not being a
- 7:13Speaker 1: good dad to truly, at the very least, he's not
- 7:15Speaker 1: even seeing truly. You know, he's not talking to all
- 7:18Speaker 1: of his other kids, So he's only a good dad
- 7:20Speaker 1: to your children.
- 7:22Speaker 2: But that gets her hot and horny.
- 7:24Speaker 1: But he can be a bad dad to all this
- 7:25Speaker 1: other his first children.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Well, because they're not his real children. I feel like
- 7:29Speaker 2: Robin's like, it's only our family, it's only our children.
- 7:33Speaker 1: But why would she say that.
- 7:34Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 7:35Speaker 1: She knows what the issues are, she knows what people
- 7:37Speaker 1: are upset about, she knows what her family, how her
- 7:40Speaker 1: family is struggling, Like, why would she say that unless
- 7:42Speaker 1: she's just taunting us?
- 7:44Speaker 2: She might be, I mean, if she's aware, like aware
- 7:47Speaker 2: of the public perception of her and everything, Like she's
- 7:49Speaker 2: totally aware she changed her eyebrows for God's sakes, because
- 7:52Speaker 2: we were all making fun of her. So she knows that,
- 7:54Speaker 2: and why say that, because she's a bitch.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I do think she's goading us?
- 7:58Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 7:58Speaker 1: I think it's rage bait.
- 8:00Speaker 2: We're falling flight.
- 8:01Speaker 1: I'm totally falling.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I know a victim of Robin's rage bait, and it's
- 8:09Speaker 2: speaking of rage bait. We go over to Mary in
- 8:10Speaker 2: Parawan and Mary is preparing like a breakfast and a
- 8:17Speaker 2: fundraiser for Jen's husband who's going through cancer treatment, which
- 8:20Speaker 2: is great, Like, I'm glad that she's doing that for
- 8:22Speaker 2: her friend. That's really awesome and cool of her. Sure,
- 8:27Speaker 2: But then we have to like bring in Ron from
- 8:30Speaker 2: a couple episodes ago because Mary and Ron matched at
- 8:33Speaker 2: some random speed beating event and he signed a contract
- 8:36Speaker 2: with TLC to be on a couple episodes in season
- 8:38Speaker 2: twenty so he could get paid for it. So he's
- 8:40Speaker 2: shown up.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Yeah, and his job.
- 8:42Speaker 2: He asks Mary about the weather. Mary's like, yeah, we
- 8:45Speaker 2: have a really good connection because we talk about the weather.
- 8:48Speaker 1: How'd you sleep last night in the hotel? God? Without me?
- 8:52Speaker 1: I slept great.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Well, do you think her and Ron have hooked up
- 8:55Speaker 2: at this time?
- 8:55Speaker 1: I mean, I'm feeling no chemistry between these two people
- 8:58Speaker 1: at all. What's so this is not the kind of
- 9:01Speaker 1: dude that Mary needs. She needs a rough and tumble
- 9:05Speaker 1: lumber jack Harley riding got a beard kind of a guy,
- 9:10Speaker 1: somebody who can lift her up and toss her around,
- 9:12Speaker 1: put her in that bit and get down totally. That
- 9:15Speaker 1: is not wrong. No, No, that is not wrong. He's
- 9:19Speaker 1: a metrosexual, I mean very least, yeah, a little bit.
- 9:23Speaker 2: And I'm just like, is he even interested in Mary?
- 9:25Speaker 1: Is he even alive?
- 9:27Speaker 2: Is there a consciousness?
- 9:28Speaker 1: Thing're so docile?
- 9:30Speaker 2: Is he an NPC?
- 9:30Speaker 1: He's very submissive?
- 9:32Speaker 2: Yeah he is.
- 9:32Speaker 1: He's not the kind of guy that Mary is ever
- 9:34Speaker 1: gonna respect long term.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Well, and it was just so awkward, like watching them
- 9:38Speaker 2: interact with each other, and I'm just like, I don't
- 9:39Speaker 2: really want to see this, Like I want Mary to
- 9:42Speaker 2: date and I want her to find love and blah
- 9:43Speaker 2: blah blah, but like, if it's going to be this,
- 9:46Speaker 2: I don't want to see No, I don't want to
- 9:48Speaker 2: see it. But then we have like a conversation with
- 9:51Speaker 2: Mary and like some of her friends that are part
- 9:54Speaker 2: of this fundration.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Seannie, Amber and Jen and Mary and makes a the
- 10:00Speaker 1: four yes.
- 10:01Speaker 2: And Mary makes a little snide comment here because she
- 10:04Speaker 2: talks about how great of a friendship she has with
- 10:06Speaker 2: all these women, and if she was sister wise with
- 10:08Speaker 2: all of them, it would have been so perfect, so great,
- 10:11Speaker 2: everybody would have gotten along, unlike me and my other bitches.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Fortunately I was saddled with those bitches, like those hags.
- 10:19Speaker 2: So we have these conversations about how Mary so nice
- 10:22Speaker 2: and stuff, and she's so loving and awesome, she's got
- 10:24Speaker 2: these friends who care about her. But then she's a
- 10:26Speaker 2: bitch the og three.
- 10:28Speaker 1: And she's kind of a bitch to Ron and Amber
- 10:31Speaker 1: or Shawnee whoever was doing the eggs making the break
- 10:34Speaker 1: jump in the head that we'll get to that.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Well, we can get to it now. Okay, else is there?
- 10:38Speaker 1: Well, so they're doing this fundraiser breakfast and Ron is
- 10:41Speaker 1: there to help, and so he's very quietly making scrambled
- 10:45Speaker 1: eggs with Shawnie or Amber whichever one, nondescript white woman.
- 10:50Speaker 1: And apparently they were supposed to be frying them eggs,
- 10:53Speaker 1: and so here comes Mary with her hard face. So
- 10:56Speaker 1: quit a minute, I thought these were supposed to be
- 10:57Speaker 1: fried eggs. You guys are scrambling them. Weren't you in
- 11:00Speaker 1: the group chat? And she makes the joke and I'm
- 11:03Speaker 1: just being intuitive here. Yeah, I'm putting on my psychic
- 11:06Speaker 1: raccoon hat, and I'm just thinking, you're a little micromanagy,
- 11:11Speaker 1: a little You're a little it's coming off to me,
- 11:14Speaker 1: a little controlling. Yeah, Like it doesn't really matter if
- 11:17Speaker 1: it's Friday eggs or scrambled eggs. In fact, Friday eggs
- 11:20Speaker 1: are a lot harder to make to order than just
- 11:22Speaker 1: making a mess of scrambled eggs.
- 11:24Speaker 2: But yeah, I don't know.
- 11:24Speaker 1: It was just a weird vibe.
- 11:25Speaker 2: It was very critical, and then like I think one
- 11:27Speaker 2: of the other friends came over to try and co
- 11:29Speaker 2: sign what Mary was saying, and I'm just like, y'all
- 11:31Speaker 2: need to chill. It's just eggs. Nobody gives a shit.
- 11:34Speaker 1: It's not like she was mad. It was really just
- 11:36Speaker 1: a vibratio that I was picking up on. And then
- 11:40Speaker 1: Ron's just like, well, I'm sorry, and they all start
- 11:42Speaker 1: talking about it and like what about the group chat,
- 11:44Speaker 1: and he's just kind of slinking into the background, like yikes,
- 11:46Speaker 1: I gotta go. I want to go back to SLZ.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Seriously, Like why am I even here the TLC paycheck
- 11:53Speaker 2: ain't worth But at this point, I don't know. I
- 11:55Speaker 2: just I felt like it was unnecessary. And I'm also like,
- 11:58Speaker 2: why can't we just focus on the fundraiser itself, like
- 12:01Speaker 2: the cause of it, versus showing us the scene where
- 12:05Speaker 2: Mary's talking about eggs, you know what I mean? Like,
- 12:08Speaker 2: why did the producers put that in there?
- 12:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just not necessary. It's not entertaining. No, it's
- 12:14Speaker 1: not interesting, but it is very Sister Wives. It is
- 12:17Speaker 1: like the entire franchise. This is the kind of stuff
- 12:20Speaker 1: they do, just like these little events that we get
- 12:23Speaker 1: to go along on and they're just boring af and
- 12:26Speaker 1: that's what this was giving. But I did like seeing Sean. Yeah,
- 12:29Speaker 1: Jen's has spend who is struggling with cancer, and I
- 12:33Speaker 1: sure hope that he's doing well, that he's healing one
- 12:35Speaker 1: hundred percent. And I thought it was lovely that he
- 12:39Speaker 1: talked about Mary in such glowing terms. Yeah, I was sweet,
- 12:42Speaker 1: called her a sister to him, and that she was
- 12:45Speaker 1: very loving and very caring. And of course we as
- 12:47Speaker 1: audience members haven't really gotten to see that much of Mary,
- 12:51Speaker 1: like that side of Mary, so it's nice to have
- 12:53Speaker 1: people refer to her that way. Yeah, I don't know
- 12:55Speaker 1: if I believe it.
- 12:57Speaker 2: I was gonna think you that too, because I'm like,
- 12:59Speaker 2: all these people are saying so nice and stuff, and
- 13:00Speaker 2: I'm like, really, because you have a bunch of family
- 13:02Speaker 2: members who were saying otherwise, you know, in books and
- 13:05Speaker 2: on Twitter and everything.
- 13:07Speaker 1: So and I'm just wondering, is Mary providing financial opportunity?
- 13:10Speaker 1: I wonder for these orbiters, is they're like a financial
- 13:13Speaker 1: incentive and the ecosystem happening around her with these people
- 13:18Speaker 1: who want to be around her, But it's because you know,
- 13:20Speaker 1: she's paying them to do things like why is Amber there?
- 13:22Speaker 2: Right?
- 13:22Speaker 1: Why is Amber living like a bat in your attam?
- 13:25Speaker 1: I had to censor that out after I told them
- 13:27Speaker 1: we don't sensor herself. Well anyway, sometimes we have to.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Sometimes we're kind of mean.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Sometimes you mean you're mean anyway. I just don't understand. Yeah,
- 13:35Speaker 1: who these random people are.
- 13:37Speaker 2: But okay, and speaking of random friends, we bop on
- 13:41Speaker 2: over to North Carolina. We have Janella with her group
- 13:45Speaker 2: of random producer friends.
- 13:48Speaker 1: I can't keep going on like that. I don't know
- 13:51Speaker 1: that we're gonna make it. I know, why are these
- 13:54Speaker 1: people on my television girl every single week. I don't
- 13:58Speaker 1: know you young ladies, lovely and everything, but I've seen you
- 14:01Speaker 1: in Flagstaff yep, I've seen you in Knowlins, and now
- 14:05Speaker 1: you're flying into North Carolina to have essentially the same
- 14:08Speaker 1: conversation that we have been having this entire season, whether
- 14:12Speaker 1: Janelle's looking for a man and Janelle wants to go
- 14:14Speaker 1: on farmers only dot com, whether Cody wore advisor. I know,
- 14:18Speaker 1: I appreciate the shade that they bring because a lot
- 14:21Speaker 1: of these arbiters don't do that. But I'm just like,
- 14:24Speaker 1: I don't get it. Janelle, don't you have any other friends? No,
- 14:27Speaker 1: don't you have a life? Do you have anything else
- 14:30Speaker 1: going on?
- 14:31Speaker 2: I don't think she does. And it's like, it'd be
- 14:33Speaker 2: one thing if Janelle had like good chemistry with these ladies,
- 14:37Speaker 2: because the ladies seem great. Sure, they seem cool, they
- 14:40Speaker 2: seem like they're trying to have fun and they're trying
- 14:42Speaker 2: to like get Janelle out of her shell. But when
- 14:44Speaker 2: they're having this conversation with her, she's so blah. She's
- 14:49Speaker 2: like not excited to talk with them. She's like not
- 14:51Speaker 2: really laughing at it.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Maybe even a little evasive. Yeah, a little vague. Yeah,
- 14:55Speaker 1: like not answering the questions.
- 14:57Speaker 2: I think she only comes alive when somebody asks like
- 15:01Speaker 2: did Robin come to the great and Janelle's like, no,
- 15:05Speaker 2: I told Cody straight up, I'm not coming if Robin comes,
- 15:07Speaker 2: and so she said she has a little bit of shade.
- 15:10Speaker 2: But then when she's pressed on other questions like would
- 15:12Speaker 2: you get back together with Cody like you had said
- 15:14Speaker 2: at the beginning of the episode of this podcast, so
- 15:17Speaker 2: she didn't fucking answer it.
- 15:18Speaker 1: No, We cut from the cafe where the girls are
- 15:21Speaker 1: asking her the question to an interstitial where Janelle tells
- 15:25Speaker 1: us and the producers, well, I mean, of course everyone
- 15:28Speaker 1: thinks about whether they would ever get back with their
- 15:30Speaker 1: ex and then she kind of just trails off. Yeah,
- 15:34Speaker 1: she doesn't even say and you know, I did think
- 15:37Speaker 1: about it, but I would never do that. She just
- 15:39Speaker 1: doesn't even address it. And then we go back to
- 15:41Speaker 1: the cafe where the girls have just asked this question
- 15:43Speaker 1: and she doesn't answer it. And again I say, like,
- 15:46Speaker 1: the title for this whole episode is about this, yep,
- 15:49Speaker 1: and Janelle's not answering.
- 15:50Speaker 2: She's not even answering it. I guarantee you. Sukiana is
- 15:54Speaker 2: gonna ask her it on the couch, and then we're
- 15:56Speaker 2: gonna have another conversation like would you ever get back
- 15:58Speaker 2: together with Cody? I bet Sukya is gonna ask Mary
- 16:01Speaker 2: that question and Janelle that question, and both of them
- 16:03Speaker 2: on the couch will be like, no, now, absolutely not.
- 16:07Speaker 2: So it's gonna be a cliffhanger throughout the rest of
- 16:09Speaker 2: the fucking season.
- 16:10Speaker 1: It kind of feels to me like, in this moment,
- 16:13Speaker 1: as we're filming this episode, the answer is maybe yeah.
- 16:17Speaker 1: It kind of feels like Janelle would have said, well,
- 16:18Speaker 1: maybe depending.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Well, because if she didn't want to, I feel like
- 16:21Speaker 2: she would have.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Said that, she would have been adamant yeah, but she.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Is kind of teeter tottering a little bit, and like, look,
- 16:28Speaker 2: if it was anybody other than Cody Brown, and like
- 16:31Speaker 2: she had been married to this guy for thirty something years,
- 16:33Speaker 2: Like I understand that, but it's Cody motherfucking Brown.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Are you telling me he's a despicable human being? And
- 16:38Speaker 1: she didn't ask himself into you.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Yeah, and you yes, and your fucking children and you
- 16:44Speaker 2: would want to get back together with that?
- 16:45Speaker 1: That says a lot about her.
- 16:46Speaker 2: It does say a lot about her.
- 16:48Speaker 1: And then they ask about the kids.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Yep, And somebody asks, like, did you ask Cody about
- 16:53Speaker 2: his lot his relationships with the kids, And I think
- 16:56Speaker 2: Janelle comes to an interstitial and she says some functionhit.
- 16:58Speaker 2: She doesn't even like answer it right.
- 17:00Speaker 1: She says, well, I did think about bringing it up
- 17:03Speaker 1: during our conversation, and then she trails off again. She
- 17:07Speaker 1: doesn't say but I decided against it. I didn't want
- 17:09Speaker 1: to fight or I just wanted to get out of
- 17:11Speaker 1: there right away. Like she doesn't even equivocate, she just
- 17:14Speaker 1: trails off again, and she never addresses it. And it's
- 17:17Speaker 1: like the biggest issue we just had. Somebody called in
- 17:20Speaker 1: last week on speak Pipe. I don't know if you've
- 17:22Speaker 1: listened or seen that episode on YouTube, but the lady
- 17:25Speaker 1: from the Bronx or Brooklyn Bronx, Yeah, who was saying
- 17:28Speaker 1: that she thinks Janelle is straight up a bad mom.
- 17:31Speaker 1: And it's this kind of stuff that makes people think
- 17:34Speaker 1: that I'm not saying that Janelle is, but like, why
- 17:36Speaker 1: aren't we talking about the fact that Cody did not
- 17:39Speaker 1: visit his children when he came to see you in
- 17:41Speaker 1: North Carolina?
- 17:42Speaker 2: Like come on.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Mickelty even spoke out on her Patreon recently after watching
- 17:46Speaker 1: this episode, I think, I'm not sure, but she's like, yeah, no,
- 17:49Speaker 1: he didn't call me, he didn't come to visit me
- 17:52Speaker 1: or our children. And she's the safest child that he
- 17:56Speaker 1: can turn to if he wants to do something like that.
- 17:58Speaker 1: But he doesn't give a shit. And Jeanete, well, you
- 18:00Speaker 1: are facilitating that. How do your kids feel seeing their
- 18:04Speaker 1: dad talking to you about how he wants to apologize
- 18:07Speaker 1: and how life was so great but he doesn't reach
- 18:09Speaker 1: out to them.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Yep, And you can't even have the balls to say
- 18:13Speaker 2: I would never get back together with him ever, because
- 18:16Speaker 2: that door is closed. I gear that's why he met
- 18:19Speaker 2: up with her first, and that's why he talked so
- 18:21Speaker 2: sweetly to her, and he was so kind because I
- 18:23Speaker 2: think that she was the easiest one for him to
- 18:26Speaker 2: minit back in and manipulate. And Janelle's a bit of
- 18:29Speaker 2: a doormat.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Yeah, she's a pushover.
- 18:31Speaker 2: She's such a pushover. And for some reason, she's like
- 18:34Speaker 2: still so attracted to Cody.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I think she is.
- 18:37Speaker 2: I think she thinks he's hot.
- 18:38Speaker 1: I think she does ill and so she didn't assert herself.
- 18:42Speaker 1: I think she got into that conversation and she's like,
- 18:45Speaker 1: you know what, I just want to move on. I
- 18:47Speaker 1: just want it to be good, and so I'm going
- 18:48Speaker 1: to make this as easy as possible. And I can
- 18:50Speaker 1: kind of understand that, but like there are these bigger issues,
- 18:53Speaker 1: like somebody has got to hold his feet to the fire.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Nobody is doing it. It's gonna have to be Merry
- 18:59Speaker 1: because I don't think is to be Christine right after
- 19:01Speaker 1: we get to that part, but I was just disappointed
- 19:04Speaker 1: in Janelle. She gets to answer the questions. You know,
- 19:06Speaker 1: they made a couple of swipes at Cody's visor, and
- 19:09Speaker 1: you know, she said something about Robin speaking Cody, and
- 19:13Speaker 1: she's really holding on to that.
- 19:14Speaker 2: She is, which I do kind of like. I like
- 19:17Speaker 2: seeing those little like nuggets from her, and it shows that,
- 19:21Speaker 2: you know, even though Janelle was very calm and cool
- 19:23Speaker 2: and like fine with polygamy, you know, she had a
- 19:25Speaker 2: little bit of jealousy. I think, oh definitely, especially with Robin.
- 19:28Speaker 1: And I don't think she gave a shit about Robin.
- 19:30Speaker 1: I don't think she likes her at all.
- 19:32Speaker 2: And I mean, hey, neither do we. No. And then
- 19:36Speaker 2: the last like thing that came out of this section
- 19:39Speaker 2: with the girls in Janelle was somebody had talked about
- 19:42Speaker 2: a divorce party and like talked about the spiritual release,
- 19:46Speaker 2: and Janelle's like, I don't give a shit what Cody
- 19:48Speaker 2: thinks about the spiritual release. I'm just going to get
- 19:50Speaker 2: it done, which I do. Like, I hope we get
- 19:52Speaker 2: to see that too in this season. I hold that
- 19:55Speaker 2: they call Cody up and say, we granted it on
- 19:58Speaker 2: grands of your piece.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Of shit, and you abandon this woman just like the
- 20:02Speaker 1: other one.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Oh my god, I hope he gets mad about it.
- 20:05Speaker 2: You too? Is that terrible? No? But I'm like, we
- 20:08Speaker 2: need something in this season because this season's not given me.
- 20:11Speaker 1: It's so bad. It's really really bad, guys.
- 20:13Speaker 2: It's really bad. And then we go over to Vegas
- 20:17Speaker 2: for Christina and David have flown in or whatever because
- 20:20Speaker 2: they're going to meet up with Cody.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Sop. Why did we have to spend half the episode
- 20:25Speaker 1: with them preparing to talk to Cody. Why couldn't we
- 20:29Speaker 1: just go and talk to Cody? Why did I have
- 20:31Speaker 1: to see them talking in the hotel room, her curling
- 20:33Speaker 1: her hair, her wearing her dress, or talking about being
- 20:36Speaker 1: nervous not knowing what to expect. No, duh, yeah, of
- 20:39Speaker 1: course you don't know what to expect. Just get your
- 20:41Speaker 1: ass down there and start the scene.
- 20:42Speaker 2: We get curious. Did we establish why they went to Vegas,
- 20:47Speaker 2: by the way, No, Like Cody had this little monologue
- 20:49Speaker 2: where he's talking about how amazing Vegas was and.
- 20:51Speaker 1: It was nostalgic for him to go yes, because.
- 20:54Speaker 2: He said his family was the most united in Vegas,
- 20:57Speaker 2: which was like, you're so tone deaf, because you were.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Christine wrote about it in her book, which we covered
- 21:02Speaker 2: on Patreon by the way in depth. But like she said,
- 21:06Speaker 2: it was the worst time for her marriage, and I
- 21:08Speaker 2: guarantee it was the worst time for Mary's.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Not Janelle's, but definitely Mary though definitely a struggle. Bust
- 21:15Speaker 1: In definituled us sack.
- 21:17Speaker 2: And then Christine says she's not really ready stops Cody
- 21:20Speaker 2: because they haven't talked to each other since their breakup.
- 21:24Speaker 2: She's really worried about it. But then she's actively curling
- 21:27Speaker 2: her hair, she's wearing her best dress, she's looking foyn.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Didn't they talk at Gwendolyn's engagement party?
- 21:34Speaker 2: Yeah, if she met David, Yeah, Or when he met David.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Didn't he come and visit the grandkids?
- 21:39Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 21:40Speaker 1: I mean after McKelty had her twins and stuff. I
- 21:42Speaker 1: just I don't know. I feel like they've had maybe
- 21:44Speaker 1: surface level conversations, so she's probably referring to in depth
- 21:48Speaker 1: relationship conversations. Yeah, they haven't had that since the knife
- 21:52Speaker 1: and the kidneys explosion.
- 21:53Speaker 2: And we had to see that flashback again.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Of course, Robin sitting there with her curly crying, I break.
- 22:03Speaker 2: In his hor you bitches, you broke Coody's heart. And
- 22:09Speaker 2: then I guess Cody asked David to come along to
- 22:13Speaker 2: this meet and greet, and so that's I don't know.
- 22:16Speaker 2: He said something like, I've seen the comments that David
- 22:19Speaker 2: has said about me, and you know he doesn't know me,
- 22:21Speaker 2: so we're going over there so he can know me, right,
- 22:24Speaker 2: because I'm actually a really stand up guy, I'm really good.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Guy, right. And I think he also wants to make
- 22:29Speaker 1: sure that Christine's husband is there because maybe it's not
- 22:33Speaker 1: so appropriate for him to meet with his ex yes
- 22:37Speaker 1: over some meal in Vegas, City of Sin, David should
- 22:41Speaker 1: be there.
- 22:42Speaker 2: I mean, I agree, and I think it's cool that
- 22:44Speaker 2: David was going anyway, because he says something like, I
- 22:47Speaker 2: want to make sure she's going to be okay, and
- 22:49Speaker 2: that the meeting goes okay, and I want to be
- 22:51Speaker 2: there to support her, and I'm like, you know, that's cool.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Yes, we like as been there if I was sitting
- 22:56Speaker 1: down with my ex exactly.
- 22:58Speaker 2: I mean, oh my god, could you imagine I.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Could not which ex exactly? Which ex Yeah, well the
- 23:04Speaker 1: second one, Oh, that would be great, that would.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Be really really great. Oh it would be so juicy.
- 23:13Speaker 2: And then Christine says some shit like she doesn't trust
- 23:17Speaker 2: Cody right now, but she remembers how great he was
- 23:20Speaker 2: in the beginning, which is silly that she makes a
- 23:22Speaker 2: comment like that, because again in her book, it was
- 23:25Speaker 2: not great in.
- 23:25Speaker 1: The No, it was actually pretty bad in the beginning,
- 23:28Speaker 1: or terrible.
- 23:30Speaker 2: And then they get into the event room at this
- 23:32Speaker 2: restaurant and they make a comment about how it's such
- 23:35Speaker 2: a big room even though you guys rented it DLC
- 23:39Speaker 2: rented it. Yeah, But Christine's like, are there other people coming?
- 23:44Speaker 2: Nobody's coming, well, And David's kind of making a joke
- 23:47Speaker 2: out of it, like he's pretending that maybe there's going
- 23:49Speaker 2: to be a surprise and a bunch of people are
- 23:51Speaker 2: going to show up, and it's just like David not
- 23:53Speaker 2: every moment is appropriate for you to just be joking
- 23:56Speaker 2: about stuff. Christine probably is very nervous to sit down
- 24:00Speaker 2: and have this conversation. Maybe you could just shut up
- 24:02Speaker 2: a little bit. Yeah, he does make a joke out
- 24:04Speaker 2: of everything. I have noticed that, and I'm like, you
- 24:08Speaker 2: gotta chill out about that. And then they sit down
- 24:11Speaker 2: and they have this apology and Cody says the same
- 24:13Speaker 2: bullshit that he said to Janelle. I'm sorry that I
- 24:16Speaker 2: said I didn't love you because that wasn't true. What
- 24:20Speaker 2: did you think about this whole I'm just like, I'm
- 24:22Speaker 2: over it.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Well, I thought that. I mean, we only saw the
- 24:28Speaker 1: beginning of that conversation. I think he's gonna say more.
- 24:32Speaker 1: I think he really wanted to get to the apology
- 24:35Speaker 1: about saying that he didn't love her and that there
- 24:39Speaker 1: weren't any good times, and you know, he says that
- 24:42Speaker 1: we actually had some great times. And this is where
- 24:44Speaker 1: we've got Christine leaning over into kind of the conversation
- 24:48Speaker 1: and biting her lip, and I'm just like, oh, I'm
- 24:51Speaker 1: very uncomfortable with all of this, but I could appreciate
- 24:53Speaker 1: the sentiment. I just we can't trust Cody, And that's
- 24:57Speaker 1: essentially what Christine was saying to the build up before
- 25:00Speaker 1: the conversation, She's like, I don't know what to expect
- 25:02Speaker 1: because I cannot trust this guy. He says one thing,
- 25:04Speaker 1: he does another thing, Like, I don't know what to believe.
- 25:07Speaker 1: And so I think in this moment, looking at her,
- 25:11Speaker 1: I feel she does want to believe him. I think
- 25:14Speaker 1: she's more interested in just making a pathway forward for
- 25:18Speaker 1: her kids, like trying to have some kind of an
- 25:21Speaker 1: amiable relationship with this guy so that truly could maybe
- 25:24Speaker 1: see her father once a year or something.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I think.
- 25:27Speaker 1: That's what she wants. I think he wants to rehab
- 25:30Speaker 1: his image for TV.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Oh one hundred thousand percent. And I wonder if she'll
- 25:35Speaker 2: bring up the kids, because if we're going to continue.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Oh, David does in the preview.
- 25:39Speaker 2: He does, it seems like he does. So I really
- 25:41Speaker 2: want a conversation like that, and it would be really
- 25:44Speaker 2: refreshing if they do talk about that, especially with knowing
- 25:47Speaker 2: that Christine is suing Coding, like probably at the time
- 25:50Speaker 2: of this yes filming, she's suing him for child sport
- 25:53Speaker 2: and stuff, So it'd be interesting. And then I wonder
- 25:55Speaker 2: how we're going to segue into Cody and David going
- 25:58Speaker 2: go kart racing. I think it's after this meeting.
- 26:01Speaker 1: I think so as well.
- 26:02Speaker 2: It would make sense, So I wonder how that's gonna happen.
- 26:05Speaker 2: I don't know. It's just I want to believe Cody too,
- 26:08Speaker 2: but I just don't believe him at all. And he
- 26:10Speaker 2: says some weird comment while he's apologizing. He's like, well,
- 26:13Speaker 2: if I hadn't have messed up, you wouldn't have met David,
- 26:17Speaker 2: so right, it's actually a good thing that I was
- 26:19Speaker 2: such a piece of shit, so that way you could
- 26:21Speaker 2: have met your man, right, And it's like.
- 26:24Speaker 1: What I hate about it, though, is it's like such
- 26:26Speaker 1: a global apology, like I'm sorry that things were so
- 26:29Speaker 1: bad for a while there, or I'm sorry that things
- 26:32Speaker 1: broke down in the way that they did, versus with
- 26:35Speaker 1: specificity saying I'm sorry that I called you a terrible mother,
- 26:40Speaker 1: I'm sorry that I neglected you, I'm sorry that I
- 26:42Speaker 1: haven't seen our child. I like naming certain things that
- 26:46Speaker 1: he has actually dumb that has hurt this woman. He
- 26:48Speaker 1: can't do that because to do that would be to
- 26:50Speaker 1: sit in that and acknowledge that you aren't shit. But
- 26:53Speaker 1: he can't do that. So it's this meta like zoomed
- 26:57Speaker 1: out apology. Yeah that it's probably worth list to Christine.
- 27:01Speaker 1: And again I think her focus is, Okay, well, how
- 27:03Speaker 1: can we just get to a place where we can
- 27:05Speaker 1: have reunions the kids can see you and I can
- 27:07Speaker 1: be there and you can be there, Like, how do
- 27:09Speaker 1: we get there?
- 27:09Speaker 2: Right?
- 27:10Speaker 1: Because that's all he's given her.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, and it's the same script that he gave
- 27:14Speaker 2: to Janelle, and it's going to be the same script
- 27:16Speaker 2: that he gives to Mary.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Mary get Mary.
- 27:18Speaker 2: I want her to call him out on it so bad.
- 27:21Speaker 2: It's also interesting to me the differences in settings, Like
- 27:25Speaker 2: he took Janelle out to lunch at a nice place
- 27:29Speaker 2: that she liked, and then he takes Christine out to
- 27:32Speaker 2: a nice place or whatever in an event's space, and
- 27:35Speaker 2: then Mary's is going to be on some free as
- 27:38Speaker 2: park bench like behind the seven eleven or something. In Prejuan,
- 27:43Speaker 2: she doesn't even get a dinner.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Well, maybe she didn't want to go to dinner with it.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Maybe she didn't. Maybe she picked the spot. We don't
- 27:49Speaker 1: know yet, do you know what?
- 27:50Speaker 2: And that's cool, m M. But I feel like I
- 27:53Speaker 2: feel like Cody picked it because he just doesn't like Mary.
- 27:56Speaker 1: He doesn't like Mary, and I think that Mary at
- 27:59Speaker 1: this point, especially when they meet, does not like Cody
- 28:02Speaker 1: because by then she has heard him call Jen a
- 28:05Speaker 1: bitch yep, and say all of these things not just
- 28:08Speaker 1: about her, embarrassing her, but also about her friend. Yes,
- 28:11Speaker 1: so I think she's going to come into this meeting
- 28:13Speaker 1: with a little fire and thank god, because Christine's got
- 28:16Speaker 1: none from what we saw in this episode. Janelle had
- 28:19Speaker 1: absolutely none last week. So Mary's our only hope.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Yep, she is our only hope. What did you think
- 28:24Speaker 2: of Cody crying a little bit in his apology to Christine.
- 28:27Speaker 1: I'm conflicted because he seems like very fractured in his
- 28:31Speaker 1: inner world. And what I mean by that is like,
- 28:33Speaker 1: I think you can access parts of himself from time
- 28:36Speaker 1: to time where he's really feeling something authentically, but then
- 28:39Speaker 1: default right back to being a raging narcissist. So like,
- 28:42Speaker 1: I just feel like there are different parts of him
- 28:44Speaker 1: that we see at different points. So I felt like
- 28:46Speaker 1: he was being sincere. Yeah, but I don't know that
- 28:49Speaker 1: this changes anything.
- 28:51Speaker 2: I don't think it changes anything. And it's like two
- 28:53Speaker 2: things can be true at once, Like you had said
- 28:55Speaker 2: last week, where it's like, Okay, yeah, you guys shared
- 28:58Speaker 2: thirty something years together of all these kids together, so
- 29:01Speaker 2: there could be some genuine affection still or I don't know,
- 29:07Speaker 2: care for each other, and I think he feels that.
- 29:12Speaker 2: But at the same time, he doesn't want her back.
- 29:15Speaker 2: He doesn't want any of these wives back. He's perfectly
- 29:18Speaker 2: completely happy with Robin and her children. He doesn't care
- 29:22Speaker 2: about the rest of his kids. And this really is
- 29:25Speaker 2: producer driven rehabit of his image apology tour. Like it's
- 29:31Speaker 2: not sincere and if it was, maybe Christine would have
- 29:35Speaker 2: written about it in her book.
- 29:37Speaker 1: I just feel like with Christine there may be another
- 29:42Speaker 1: layer of motivation with Cody because she's in the process
- 29:46Speaker 1: of suing him, and I'm sure that they're both unable
- 29:49Speaker 1: to talk about the lawsuit because that's pretty typical, and
- 29:53Speaker 1: there may even be an NDA that we don't know about,
- 29:55Speaker 1: although I doubt it with Christine, but you know, there
- 29:57Speaker 1: could be other reasons why she's not divulging a whole
- 30:01Speaker 1: lot of information. But like it is probably in his
- 30:04Speaker 1: best interest to get on her good side, definitely, because
- 30:07Speaker 1: if she's suing him for child support, I mean, and
- 30:10Speaker 1: if she's going to force discovery if she's going to
- 30:12Speaker 1: force a look at those books and the accounting of
- 30:16Speaker 1: it all. And he already knows she's predisposed to writing
- 30:18Speaker 1: a book. I think he knows about it. While he's
- 30:20Speaker 1: sitting down in this particular episode, I think he's thinking about,
- 30:23Speaker 1: like how he can just butter her up a little bit,
- 30:25Speaker 1: make it nice so that he can maybe get out
- 30:28Speaker 1: of the lawsuit and or not have to suffer too
- 30:30Speaker 1: much financial damage, which was his biggest worry with her.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Remember when they were splitting in Flagstaff. He's like, Oh,
- 30:36Speaker 1: so you're gonna go to Utah, You're going to find
- 30:37Speaker 1: yourself a man, and you're gonna come after my money.
- 30:39Speaker 2: You're going to take all my money.
- 30:40Speaker 1: And here she is kind of doing exactly that.
- 30:43Speaker 2: And she should I want her to.
- 30:45Speaker 1: She takes should.
- 30:46Speaker 2: I mean, if Janelle's not going to and Mary's not
- 30:48Speaker 2: going to, it needs to be Christine. Yep, please, it
- 30:51Speaker 2: needs to be Christine. So I guess we're gonna have
- 30:55Speaker 2: part two of Christine's apology next week. I didn't wasn't
- 30:59Speaker 2: there a pre you about Cody saying like, I'm sorry
- 31:02Speaker 2: for not being attracted to you. Or was that in
- 31:05Speaker 2: the tell all?
- 31:06Speaker 1: I don't remember, and so everything blends together when I'm
- 31:09Speaker 1: asleep watching the show. But somebody said that he says
- 31:13Speaker 1: something about calling her unattractive when they were first married,
- 31:18Speaker 1: or revolting because of the nachos or whatever, or like
- 31:20Speaker 1: saying it, because I think he also said it in
- 31:22Speaker 1: a tell all that he was repulsed by her. So
- 31:24Speaker 1: I think there's supposed to be an apology around that,
- 31:26Speaker 1: but I'm not sure. I would love to see her reaction,
- 31:30Speaker 1: and I think she does get angry.
- 31:32Speaker 2: I mean, I would like, you said this shit on
- 31:35Speaker 2: National TV years ago a couple of times, a couple
- 31:38Speaker 2: of times, and in the book and in the book.
- 31:41Speaker 2: So now you're going to apologize for it, like I
- 31:43Speaker 2: would go off?
- 31:44Speaker 1: Would you on?
- 31:45Speaker 2: Cody?
- 31:45Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 31:46Speaker 2: Are you kidding because it's just fake at this point
- 31:48Speaker 2: because you've been saying it for years.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Well, we'll see what she does. I doubt she's going
- 31:52Speaker 1: to do anything she said. Don't worry about it. It's time
- 31:54Speaker 1: to move on.
- 31:55Speaker 2: I'm fine.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Thanks guys, this is great for your show.
- 31:59Speaker 2: I've got a man who's all about my fat cat now.
- 32:03Speaker 2: So we got the preview for next week we have
- 32:05Speaker 2: David saying it's obvious Cody loved Christine because they were
- 32:09Speaker 2: married and had kids, which I was like, well, is
- 32:12Speaker 2: it obvious? I don't know. M M. You can stick
- 32:15Speaker 2: your pepe in anything. Does that mean should we edit them?
- 32:18Speaker 1: Nope, No, it's true, I mean really.
- 32:22Speaker 2: And then we have David also telling Cody to start
- 32:25Speaker 2: with his kids.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Right, But that's just kind of dropped into the preview.
- 32:29Speaker 1: We don't know what was said before that. We don't
- 32:31Speaker 1: know what this is in relation to. It'd be awesome
- 32:33Speaker 1: if David was advocating for the kids. But I will
- 32:36Speaker 1: believe it when I see it.
- 32:38Speaker 2: I know. I feel like it's producer fake out right.
- 32:41Speaker 2: And then we have Robin saying people are piling on Cody.
- 32:46Speaker 2: I think so assuming Cody. Right, who's piling on Cody?
- 32:49Speaker 1: I don't know the people that he's going out of
- 32:51Speaker 1: his way to talk to and apologize to.
- 32:53Speaker 2: God, I'm so tired of this. Like Cody's a big victim, right,
- 32:56Speaker 2: my god, it is two point one million dollar mc mansion.
- 32:59Speaker 2: He's a victim. And then we have Janelle saying she
- 33:02Speaker 2: wants the spiritual divorce, but she's intimidated to talk to
- 33:05Speaker 2: the aub Yeah. And then I think.
- 33:08Speaker 1: It's the aub Or, like I don't like the elders. Yeah,
- 33:11Speaker 1: I think the men of the religion.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Yeah. And she sends a text to initiate the process,
- 33:15Speaker 2: and then I think she does. She FaceTime Mary about it.
- 33:19Speaker 1: She's talking to Mary when she sends the text. Mary
- 33:21Speaker 1: is encouraging her to go ahead, girls, send that text,
- 33:24Speaker 1: let's start the spiritual release. Which I love Mary supporting
- 33:27Speaker 1: her in this, and I'm actually interested in Janelle going
- 33:30Speaker 1: through this process and actually seeing it. But of course,
- 33:33Speaker 1: this season is coming to a conclusion and we're not
- 33:35Speaker 1: going to see any of it.
- 33:35Speaker 2: I really hope we see more of that instead of
- 33:37Speaker 2: Cody working out in the forests of flag Staff, and
- 33:41Speaker 2: then we have Mary telling her friends that she's going
- 33:43Speaker 2: to meet up with Cody and it's going to be
- 33:44Speaker 2: this big old build up for her. Sitting on that
- 33:46Speaker 2: park bench behind the seven to eleven.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Yep, that's pretty much it.
- 33:52Speaker 2: I don't want to be so negative. I'm sorry if
- 33:54Speaker 2: I'm so such a negative. Nancy about kind.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Of difficult when you are rec happing a literal pile
- 34:01Speaker 1: of shit, the literal pile of dogshit.
- 34:04Speaker 2: I mean, I just don't understand it. Just it feels
- 34:06Speaker 2: very forced. It'll be interesting to see what will happen
- 34:10Speaker 2: in season twenty one, because I'm like, what are you
- 34:12Speaker 2: gonna create for us? Because if we're gonna finish the
- 34:15Speaker 2: apology tour and we tie up all the loose ends
- 34:17Speaker 2: and everybody just lives their separate lives, like, what else
- 34:20Speaker 2: is there?
- 34:21Speaker 1: I think it's just their separate lives. It's Janelle going
- 34:23Speaker 1: to Nolins with her friends. It's Mary continuing her dating
- 34:27Speaker 1: and acquiring dogs. It is Christine acquiring another Airbnb yeah
- 34:32Speaker 1: and becoming a landlord. And it's Cody and Robin living
- 34:35Speaker 1: in their awful house attracting demons. I don't know what
- 34:39Speaker 1: else we're going to be doing in season twenty one.
- 34:41Speaker 1: There's nothing here of any real interest. There's nothing here
- 34:44Speaker 1: that's actually entertaining, and it's just feeding the egos of
- 34:47Speaker 1: these truly poisonous and toxic people. And we have enough
- 34:50Speaker 1: of that on this planet. I'm just saying, all these
- 34:52Speaker 1: awful people on our planet for sure, and now we've
- 34:55Speaker 1: gotta watch them on TV, and there's no reckoning. It'd
- 34:58Speaker 1: be great if there's a reckoning. It awesome if Mary
- 35:01Speaker 1: comes into that meeting skipping in with her brass knuckles
- 35:04Speaker 1: ready to go, like, I would love that, give it
- 35:07Speaker 1: to me. Never get that they're constantly edging us, constantly
- 35:12Speaker 1: edging us, and there's never a pay off. And then
- 35:14Speaker 1: we see Zukiana's in the town and I'm just like, oh,
- 35:16Speaker 1: kill me, now, just kill.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Me now, I know, playing a game of telephone for
- 35:21Speaker 2: seven hours while she films all of these separate fucking
- 35:24Speaker 2: tell alls for no reason. If she doesn't ask them,
- 35:28Speaker 2: she's not going to. But like if she doesn't ask them,
- 35:30Speaker 2: like why can't we all be in one, one single room,
- 35:33Speaker 2: Like what are we doing the.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Same thing we did last year? It's the same thing
- 35:39Speaker 1: we did the year before that. And I feel like
- 35:41Speaker 1: we all have a sense that this show is not
- 35:44Speaker 1: long for the world, like it's got to be cycling
- 35:46Speaker 1: down and out, and so we keep sticking with it,
- 35:49Speaker 1: and we also keep hoping to see the resolutions of
- 35:51Speaker 1: like very interesting storylines, but then we just never we
- 35:54Speaker 1: just never get there. And so I think for us,
- 35:57Speaker 1: we're committed. We're gonna finish the season. If they've got
- 36:00Speaker 1: another season, we're going to recap that season two but
- 36:03Speaker 1: like in the interim, what are we going to watch
- 36:05Speaker 1: and can it be fun? And can it be dram
- 36:07Speaker 1: malicious and awesome? And to that end, Yeah, I did
- 36:12Speaker 1: send you something that I saw on my Instagram timeline
- 36:16Speaker 1: from TLC, which is a new show that is coming
- 36:19Speaker 1: out in January about a whole bunch of Amish people.
- 36:24Speaker 1: It looks like it's an Amish village who and they're
- 36:28Speaker 1: bringing in four regular regulars like us from the world,
- 36:33Speaker 1: the regular world. They're coming in to become Amish for
- 36:36Speaker 1: a period of time to see if they'd like to
- 36:38Speaker 1: integrate into this society. Yes, and then they go through
- 36:42Speaker 1: all of the changes that must come with like having
- 36:45Speaker 1: to wear those clothes, eat that food, work that hard.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Can you imagine some influencer from LA I'm going to
- 36:51Speaker 1: be Homish?
- 36:52Speaker 2: I love it.
- 36:53Speaker 1: It's just to give up all of her handbags and
- 36:55Speaker 1: her social midgja and she's got a shuck corner or something.
- 37:00Speaker 1: And you see them breaking down. Yes, in the preview,
- 37:03Speaker 1: you see them cry and being super upset. There looks
- 37:05Speaker 1: like authentic drama. I want it first season drama before
- 37:10Speaker 1: they're used to the camera's kind of drama.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Yes, please cry about churning butter like I would love to.
- 37:16Speaker 2: I want to watch it. I do too, So we're
- 37:19Speaker 2: gonna watch it?
- 37:20Speaker 1: Were I think we're gonna watch?
- 37:20Speaker 2: It?
- 37:21Speaker 1: Starts in January? Are you guys gonna watch?
- 37:23Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 37:24Speaker 1: You guys heard about it us to watch it?
- 37:26Speaker 2: I want to watch it.
- 37:27Speaker 1: What are your thoughts about that? Please let us know.
- 37:30Speaker 1: You can DM Beatrice on Instagram. You can also drop
- 37:33Speaker 1: down into the YouTube comments and let us know. And
- 37:34Speaker 1: if you're on patroon, let us know what you guys think.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Sounds fun though? It sounds lit way more fun than

- 37:44Speaker 1: Why are you enjoying it? Do you even watch it?
- 37:46Speaker 1: Are we the only ones out here in the dumpster
- 37:48Speaker 1: watching it? I know?
- 37:49Speaker 2: Are we the only ones that are negative about it?
- 37:51Speaker 1: I feel like not absolutely. I watched some other reactors
- 37:55Speaker 1: and they're just as sick of it as we are.
- 37:58Speaker 2: It's too much, man.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Yeah, it's hard to have fun, yea when a show
- 38:01Speaker 1: sucks this hard? But we try, honey, every single week.
- 38:04Speaker 1: So now, is there anything else that we should say
- 38:06Speaker 1: to these beautiful raccoons before we get upon ata?
- 38:09Speaker 2: Here?
