- 2:16[SPEAKER_04]: I'm really uncomfortable with what this search is bringing up.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_04]: Keep saying I was uncomfortable on the phone last night, Bob.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_04]: It said, it literally says, did you mean steps on underwear?
- 2:25[SPEAKER_04]: And I just really don't want to click through that.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_07]: It is not steps on underwear.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_07]: So go SP space, TSON underwear, and then it all pops up.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_07]: And it's fun and flirty across the board.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_07]: There you go.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_07]: I can't.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_06]: Look at what a disaster this is.

- 2:46[SPEAKER_06]: Yo, you know this company.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, PSD.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_06]: What the fuck is it?
- 2:48[SPEAKER_06]: I think Boxer's briefs, shit like that.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, scroll down.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, they got chicks, panties, but it's like, what's the, what's she wearing right there?
- 2:59[SPEAKER_07]: That's fine.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_07]: It's showing screen, right?
- 3:00[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_07]: Pop that up on screen.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_07]: Go through the highlights here.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_07]: Is it Bart Simpson?
- 3:07[SPEAKER_07]: It's all different.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_04]: I'm seeing SpongeBob, Simpsons, some just some weird.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_04]: It's just a licensuit.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, 1100 dollars.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_07]: That was one of the charges.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's all I have to spend.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_07]: On Bart Simpson underwear?
- 3:20[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's a lot.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_07]: But then it was just non-stop.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_07]: So it was going going going, you know, they hit you up with the fraud alert.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_07]: I said, no, I didn't get any of this shit.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_07]: And then they kept going going going and I'm like, hey,
- 3:32[SPEAKER_07]: That's a debit card, bro, that cash is gone, son.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_07]: So I just spent my, my morning at the bank trying to figure that out and yeah, it was a card that was since never used and then they used that, which was it was it sent by regular mail or was it federal regular mail and it didn't require signature.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_07]: No, and they didn't tell me and I go, hey dude, it's like it's not.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_07]: It's not, it doesn't expire for like three more months.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_02]: Now you don't have an old fashion, this kind of mailbox, do you?
- 4:01[SPEAKER_07]: I don't.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_07]: I got one of those ones.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_07]: Texas is big on this out here where the community mailbox is.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, community mailbox, yeah.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_07]: That's what I have, but I would have a hard time believing that somebody in my community would have this kind of taste right there.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_02]: No, but my question is, do you trust your letter carry?
- 4:20[SPEAKER_02]: Well,
- 4:21[SPEAKER_02]: Not really.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_02]: If you look at him and you're like, hey dude, did you have the fuck is that?
- 4:25[SPEAKER_02]: And that's been in the news recently over the last six months.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, wasn't there some guys?
- 4:29[SPEAKER_02]: Guys are hearing by the way, it's Dr. Mike Simpson.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, hey, how's he been in here today?
- 4:33[SPEAKER_07]: Old friend of the show, obviously.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_07]: And we just bring you in for this, but yeah.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there was some letter carrier in Houston that he pulled a Newman from Seinfeld.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_02]: They found he had like a storage container.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_02]: with like no way that with thousands of fucking parcels and letters and she was just three he was just basically every day he was going to work loading up his truck going just kicking it all into this into this container and then kind of sorting through afterwards.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I guess.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_07]: No shit.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, it seems like it's the work.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_07]: Ah, not really.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_03]: That's the core work that is delivering the goddamn mail.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_07]: They took thing about it.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_07]: If you could find a debit card in there, like this, they were able to rip 14, 14 chaos for their last night before he stopped.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_07]: And I'm on hold, and I'm just watching this happen.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_07]: And I'm like, finally, the one, you know, I get a hold of the dude, he goes, I can transfer you to another department and I go, no, no, we got to go right now.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_07]: And he's like, oh, shit, there's looking at the numbers rack up, and I was like, fuck man, but what an odd purchase.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that was just one of many of like a bunch of like series of purchases because you're able to see what it is.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_07]: And I go, hey, dude, I'm clearly not buying Bart Simpson panties for my wife and well, not $1100.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_02]: Not in that volume anyway.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_07]: No, you know.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_07]: No, you know, enough got my favorite companies.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_07]: This isn't one of them, yeah.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_07]: Jesus Christ, man.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_07]: So it was a weird night last night just watching this all unfold.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_07]: It was even weirder that you know the car wasn't ripped from online.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_07]: It wasn't ripped from a bar.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_07]: It wasn't ripped from a restaurant.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_07]: It was a new sand that I was like, what the fuck is this?
- 6:11[SPEAKER_07]: That's a great question.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_07]: Do you trust your your postal carrier?
- 6:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_07]: And there's no.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_02]: You know one thing that I because the most recent time that I had a card lifted, I'm pretty sure the way it happened.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_02]: was I was traveling to North Carolina at my laptop with me and I'm in the really bad habit of I never turn my laptop off I just close it.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_02]: And then, you know, you're in the airport.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like, oh, I'm at the gate.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I got, I noticed an email on my phone.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_02]: That's going to involve a lot of typing.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to answer it on my phone.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_02]: Pull my laptop out, flip it open, type type type type.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_02]: Close it back, put it back in there.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_02]: I'm pretty sure somebody lifted a credit card number off of me that way.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_02]: Because I got to North Carolina.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_02]: I picked up my car, checked into my hotel, I went and did a little bit of work, went home that night.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_02]: And then my wife calls me at like three o'clock in the morning.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_02]: And she's like, hey, the business, because we have a specific business car.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_02]: She's like the business car.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_07]: That's what we're asking for.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_02]: Just to happen to me.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, just had a $400 charge.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_02]: And it's North Carolina.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_02]: She's like, what are you doing?
- 7:14[SPEAKER_02]: Do you didn't, did you take a copy of the car?
- 7:16[SPEAKER_02]: The strip club.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_02]: And no, it was nothing like, it was definitely purchases.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm like, it's too much of a coincidence that I'm in North Carolina.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_02]: and the charges are also occurring in North Carolina.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have a copy of the physical card.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_02]: It is saved on my keychain in my computer so that has to be how they lifted it.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_07]: Interesting.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so I didn't have any way of confirming it.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_02]: We just canceled the card and got a new one issued.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, man, it's crazy.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_02]: This is such a common thing now.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_02]: And it interferes with your daily life, too, right, because because then you go to make a legitimate purchase, you know, It's more than just do today.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_07]: And I'm like, hey, dude, these are on autopay coming out of there.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_02]: Our stuff that gets you on the middle of trying to do a purchase and it gets kicked back.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_02]: I was buying concerts tickets.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_02]: and it got kicked back, because it's like, and then I'm like, well, does that mean I need to go back into the app and repurchase the ticket?
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: Uh-huh.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: And it says, okay, oh yeah, you can continue with your transaction now.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm not 100% sure it went through, is it gonna double charge me?
- 8:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_02]: What the hell's going on here?
- 8:20[SPEAKER_07]: So it appears to be somebody on vacation because they're in Florida.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_07]: They have rented a condo.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_03]: No, that's just people and I was going to say the assumption.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_07]: No, no, no, everyone in Florida.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_07]: It tells me what they're buying.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_03]: No, I know what they're.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_03]: I understand that, but that's just a for-to-man.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_03]: Sure.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_03]: Everybody in Florida is a criminal.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_07]: I know.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_07]: I understand that.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_07]: But here's the thing.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_07]: So I had a house get robbed back in L.A. And Humbway had stolen all these bathing suits and shit like that.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_07]: And then just going to the beach.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_07]: I had one of those on sort of things in my car.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_07]: I haven't this one too, but they found the card and was still hot like the cop called me which was like, hey, this is still warm.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_07]: We're gonna hang out here.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_07]: I'm like, where are you?
- 8:59[SPEAKER_07]: He's like, I'm in the beach in Santa Monica, I'm in Santa Monica, Pierre and I was like, whoa!
- 9:03[SPEAKER_02]: And then when I got the one cop in L.A. County that actually solves crimes.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_07]: One guy.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_07]: Well, let's face it was his name was his name Friday.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_07]: My next turn neighbor was a cop, though.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_07]: So I call.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_07]: I hit him up and I hit him up and I hit him up and I hit him up.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_07]: All right, but also shout out to Onstar.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_07]: It is exactly like the commercial where the voice comes on and they're like onstar at your service.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_07]: We're calling the police right now sir.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_07]: Stay on the line.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_03]: We'll locate your vehicle in two minutes.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_03]: Elevated language.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I love it.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_03]: No, you call it fuck down.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_07]: No, I'll treat this like go like I was in the commercial I was like fuck yeah dude.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_07]: I'll stay on the line.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_03]: No, so if I let's do it if I'm on the radio and a fucking tick happens People start shooting or whatever and somebody's talking like that.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like you need to calm the fuck down You don't hear like if you listen to a patchy pilots
- 9:55[SPEAKER_03]: when they're fucking light and shit up, talking to their gutter and stuff right there, it's like nothing's happening.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I want.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_03]: I want the quiet confidence of somebody that knows if shit goes down, we'll kill everybody here.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's, I was right in a Chinook and we had a missile come up and I was on comms and I saw it registered in my head, hey, that's definitely somebody just fired a fucking RPG and then I hear the pilot, he said, yeah, that's definitely a missile.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_02]: And that was all he said, but then we didn't do anything because he had already figured out the guy was too far away and it was going to fizzle out, but we just kept flying like there was no big deal.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_07]: Crazy.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_07]: Paypams.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_07]: So it looks like they're just fucking having a vacation down here.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_07]: There's a condo rental, there's bathing suits and underwear.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, it's good for them and they're in Florida and they're in Florida.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_03]: Should we?
- 10:45[SPEAKER_03]: Did they have an address associated with that condo over there?
- 10:48[SPEAKER_07]: They're checking now.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_07]: So I went to the bank this morning and I said, hey, sure.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, I would want to know what the address was so we could send some drink of rose over there to see what the guy that was exactly what I said and They're just happening to be another guy at the bank and he goes, you know what that guy does right because that was a show I was like, thank you.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_07]: This would be fun for the show and she goes the lady at the bank Cause you're gonna talk about this today.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_07]: Go fuck it dude.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you
- 11:10[SPEAKER_07]: But 1100 Bart Simpson underwear, they rented a fucking condo in Florida, and they went to a restaurant last night, and appeared to have a nice $6 to $800 meal, I mean it's just endless, 29 charges in total.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_07]: So what a fucking party for it?
- 11:25[SPEAKER_02]: Did they go to Bernstakehouse?
- 11:27[SPEAKER_02]: That's the only place I know you can spend that much money in Florida on a meal.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_07]: There's a lot of places in Florida.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_02]: Shout out to Bernstakehouse.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_02]: One's the last thing you've been to Florida.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_07]: Let me tell you about this restaurant called Shedders now Dan loves it and it's one of my personal favorites Isn't that a chain?
- 11:43[SPEAKER_07]: It's sure it.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_07]: It's a chain, but you still feel like family it's kind of like a it's an American version of all of garden Okay, because obviously that's Italian fine Italian that they
- 11:53[SPEAKER_07]: I have all their chefs trained overseas in the liberal area.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_02]: I thought the American version of Olive Garden was called, Oh, no, no, it's the first the originals in Italy.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_07]: Everybody knows that and they bring their chefs over here.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_02]: Next to the Parthenon, right?
- 12:05[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, exactly.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_02]: It's right there.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_02]: Pantheon, sorry.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, beautiful.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_07]: This time of year.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_07]: But Chetters is American where it's like, all those chefs homegrown in the kitchen, culinary school.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_03]: Not all the chefs and Chetters are Mexican.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_03]: Just like every other restaurant in America.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_07]: Well, since you brought it up, let's talk about it.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_03]: Well, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 12:52[SPEAKER_03]: uh... by the supreme court that's right uh... yeah i think uh... and here's the deal
- 12:58[SPEAKER_03]: If you don't have a well-defined citizenry with unique qualifications for it, and if you don't treat those citizens differently than you treat the rest of the world, you don't have secure borders by law, and you don't have secure voting inside of a republic, then you don't have any of those things.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_03]: You don't have a country.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_03]: It's bullshit.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_03]: The whole thing is fiat, not just our currency, but the entire system of government is fiat at that point, and look,
- 13:23[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, if this stuff doesn't get sorted by the midterms this year, I don't know what I just don't know what the future of this country looks like.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_03]: Something big is going to have to break.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I mean, seriously, like the hyperinflation will have to happen, which I think is, there's a decent chance that's gonna happen either way because they cannot solve this housing issue.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_03]: And if they don't get all these goddamn illegal immigrants out of the country, there's no solving it.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_07]: The left wants them to stay, yes, that's the voting base.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_07]: So I think, yes, you're pretty much fucked.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_03]: I think we're getting, yeah, just like the court system
- 14:06[SPEAKER_03]: It's not going to work.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_07]: As I was going to say, I've been keeping up with it today and the background was up and working here and it ain't great what's coming out of there and the lawyer who's arguing in this case had said some made some questionable retorts to replies, I guess, some of these judges that it's just like, hey, bro, you're not prepared for that.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_07]: One of the questions today involved Native Americans.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_02]: Defending the executive order who's defending birthright citizenship defending the executive order.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_07]: So they want a he One he's they want to get rid of birthright citizenship Which they should I mean you shouldn't be allowed just to come into the country have a baby and then congratulations We pay for all this shit and then we raise these fuckers.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even I don't think I think the issue The issue here isn't the issue the issue is the mechanism which is executive order
- 15:03[SPEAKER_02]: So the question is, how do you feel about executive order?
- 15:07[SPEAKER_02]: Whether it's right or wrong, right?
- 15:08[SPEAKER_02]: Whether it's executive order saying, hey, let's make Chuck Norr's day in national holiday.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_02]: We can all get behind that, but that's probably not a great example.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_02]: If something is enshrined in the Constitution, can you counter-mandate with an executive order?
- 15:29[SPEAKER_02]: That's the question I think that the court is going to be debating, not birthright citizenship in and of itself.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to be the mechanism by which it is being addressed, which is by executive war.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_02]: So they're going to argue, and again, I'm not a lawyer, but in my experience in 60 years on this earth, when you see cases like this, they're kind of like Roeverse's Wade, that was a personal privacy issue, not an actual medical female reproductive issue, right?
- 16:02[SPEAKER_02]: And that's why it was essentially in a lot of lawyers and said that it was bad law.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_02]: Can you can you counterman something and try it in the Constitution with an executive order?
- 16:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's the question that's on the table.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, and Dan, you you know the Constitution better than anyone I know.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_07]: And that's what they're arguing right now.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_03]: Well, birthright citizenship is not enshrined in the Constitution.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_03]: It's loosely enshrined.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_03]: It's been the 14th Amendment, but with the 14th Amendment was specifically designed to grant citizenship to slaves.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_14]: Right.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_14]: Okay.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_03]: That's it.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_03]: So the question about Native Americans is fucking stupid.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_03]: They don't exist in the US as some X-part A fucking on-clave.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_03]: There's reservations for sure, but they're not confined to them.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_03]: They are full US citizens.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_03]: Ready.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_03]: What the fuck was that question?
- 16:49[SPEAKER_03]: Well, that question makes no fucking sense.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_03]: Not one they are subject to the same laws as everybody else while they're here and Off their res when they're on the res.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_03]: They're subject to res laws.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_03]: Well, which is that's a whole other separate issue Sure, but that doesn't mean that while they're fucking standing on continental US soil They're not subject to our law.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_03]: They absolutely are yeah, right people who are here illegally for example who have kids or people who are here temporarily
- 17:15[SPEAKER_03]: they are subject to our laws temporarily, which means to confer permanent status upon them or their children as fucking bullshit.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_03]: There's nothing in the fucking 14th Amendment that says anything about that, right?
- 17:26[SPEAKER_03]: So while technically it does exist inside the constitution,
- 17:31[SPEAKER_03]: The fact that it made it this far through the courts so so far for the Supreme Court to just toss it Because of something like that it couldn't be standing it could be mechanism it wouldn't be standing the President absolutely has the right to as the chief executive to to oversee Immigration policy to some degree right or at least the the implementation of it obviously is all during the Biden administration But
- 18:01[SPEAKER_03]: The mechanism maybe, maybe they throw it out because of that.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_03]: It's possible.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, I'll play a couple clips here today because this first one, Bob, go to your Twitter.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_07]: It's the last one I sent you.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_03]: By the way, just to clarify, the EO doesn't overturn the 14th Amendment.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_03]: That's not what's happening.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_03]: That's not at all what's happening.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_03]: What's happening is the president issued an EO to clarify what it means and it's very clear what it means.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_03]: And this court and this regard, their job should be to clarify the law.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_03]: To say, you know what?
- 18:35[SPEAKER_03]: In there's different ways, like the originalist version of it, why it was written in the first place, how it's been used since then is also relevant to be fair.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_03]: But just because it's been used a certain way for a while, does it mean it can't be taken back to the originalist meaning?
- 18:48[SPEAKER_03]: And then the outcome of keeping it in place counterbalances the mere constitutionality of it as well.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_03]: Any asshole is one plane right away from coming here and the Chinese government has 600.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_03]: fucking travel agencies, full-time travel agencies that finds women inside their country and late-stage third-time ester pregnancy, ships them over here, let's have their baby, the baby is a U.S. citizen, and then they go back to China and get program for the rest of their fucking life.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely not.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_03]: If that continues, we do not have a country period.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_07]: I agree, and then as far as the stance on a Native Americans, I had the same exact answers you.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know why this guy had a hard time answering this question today, but I pressed play on this.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_07]: This is inside the Supreme Court.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_11]: Do you think Native Americans today are birthright citizens under your test and of your friend's test?
- 19:47[SPEAKER_16]: I think so.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_16]: I mean, I was they've been granted.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_16]: It says, I'm a statue.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_16]: I'm a statue.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_16]: You think they're birthright citizens?
- 19:53[SPEAKER_16]: No, I think the clear understanding that everybody agrees and the congressional debates is that the children of tribal Indians are not birthrights.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_11]: I understand that's what they said.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_11]: But your test is the domicile of the parents.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_11]: And that would be the test you have to supply today, right?
- 20:09[SPEAKER_16]: Yes, so a tribal Indian, for example, or you know, I will give some allegiance to.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_11]: Born today, birthright citizens.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_16]: I think so on our test.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_16]: If they're roughly domiciled here.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_16]: Okay, and then not sure.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_16]: I have to think that through, but I think that's my reaction.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_07]: I'll take the yes, that's all right.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_07]: It's not great.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know who this guy is and who this lawyer is and why he's the one that's up there But watching him fumble around through these questions this morning front of the Supreme Court It's not a great look And it's the same answers that we play over and over again out of Jumanji Contanji Brown Jackson one of the fucker name is of how fucking dumb she is
- 20:49[SPEAKER_07]: The same can be said, if you're an unprepared lawyer that comes in with this bullshit, like, hey dude, they're going to ask you, you know what the case is.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_07]: They're going to ask you everything under the fucking sun.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_07]: And this was a pretty basic question that he fucking fumbled.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_07]: And then it just kind of spiraled out to that.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_07]: And then you could hear in the judges' tones as I was listening to this today.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_07]: Everybody was questioning this guy.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_07]: I'd, you know, one, the law as a question, obviously in the Constitution is a question, but then also this particular lawyer, where you're like, hey, dude, why won't you prepare for this shit today?
- 21:24[SPEAKER_07]: And if this doesn't get changed to dance points, and we keep letting this shit save acts and everything else kicked down the road, we're fucked.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_07]: So why was this the guy that was coming in today answering the fucking questions like we There's a million lawyers in America Jesus Christ through my hat and find one and ten feet from here So why why this guy and and hasn't been great all day with every single justice yeah
- 21:48[SPEAKER_02]: This would be my question, and perhaps I misspoke and showed my profound ignorance on the subject is I thought that they were specifically debating the legality of the executive war.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_02]: Are they, as it exists on the docket now, are they addressing, are they seeking to reinterpret?
- 22:08[SPEAKER_02]: The 14th Amendment and Claire, are they expecting that the Supreme Court's decision is going to be clarification one way or another on this going forward, this is what it means, period.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that would be the only thing that makes any sense to me.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_02]: That would be what, that's the only thing that's gonna solve.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_03]: Like the argument in question is that the 14th Amendment is being applied in a way that was never intended to be applied.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_03]: And that is absolutely true.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_07]: Right, and that's what Trump is trying to restrict.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_07]: It was like, hey, the people that are here from here and everything else.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_02]: people who were fine in here and using all these cheat codes like Dan said get no you're not a fucking birthright citizen so here here's my question and and Dan you're probably best equipped to answer this because you're you're a constitutional scholar and you you have probably the the the the the greatest knowledge of anybody that I know I've already said that my god damn it's
- 22:58[SPEAKER_03]: You know, he's piggybacked.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_03]: He was a senior interviewer.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_02]: I'm trying to clarify my question on my head, so I'm regurgitating what you said is a damn it.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_02]: Damn it, Ross.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_02]: Don't take my fucking tricks away.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_07]: Lead in.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_07]: So here's my question.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_07]: Your bad dream, the witness.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_07]: Here's getting to the point.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_02]: Here's my question.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_02]: We have when the 14th Amendment was being debated in Congress.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_02]: somewhere, you can dust off a dusty tone that has the minutes of those that debate in Congress, right?
- 23:26[SPEAKER_02]: At some point, somebody had to step up and say, hey, excuse me for a second, if somebody just arrives on a boat in their pregnant, are they citizens too?
- 23:38[SPEAKER_02]: You know, recognizing the gentleman from South Dakota.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_03]: Currently, yes.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_03]: It's funny.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_02]: I know, but currently, but how, it's funny.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_02]: It's not debated.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_03]: It's funny.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_02]: What's that debate?
- 23:46[SPEAKER_03]: It's funny.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_03]: You say that because the person who wrote the 14th Amendment, Senator Jacob Howard, repute from Michigan.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_03]: said the following this will not of course include persons born in the United States who are foreigners aliens who belong to the families of ambassadors or four ministers accredited to the government of the United States But will include every other class of persons.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_03]: It settles the great question of citizenship and removes all doubt as to what persons are or are not citizens of the United States This is long been a great somewhere that I don't actually know
- 24:20[SPEAKER_03]: and the jurisprudence.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_03]: So this will not, of course, include Persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, or who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_03]: The guy who wrote the goddamn 14th Amendment said it.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_03]: And in the fucking story.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that should be any clarified for those who might not understand.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_02]: So he basically clarified, I'm not just talking about foreigners that are here TTY, right?
- 24:46[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not just talking about
- 24:47[SPEAKER_02]: or you're the ambassador.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, if you're a British citizen who becomes the ambassador, obviously you're not coming over here looking for an anchor baby, right?
- 24:57[SPEAKER_02]: You're in British aristocracy, you're going back, your son's probably already a barren or a duqulet or something like that.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_02]: So you're going back.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_02]: he says specifically it they're not citizens and neither is the person that just arrived on a boat pregnant who has a kid.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_02]: So if that's the case I mean to me that's all that lawyer that you point it out just be reading that over and over.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_07]: I agree and he didn't and that's the fucking problem today.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_03]: I mean that's the only test like there so this is the thing that happens in jurisprudence a lot
- 25:32[SPEAKER_03]: You have to be able to reduce this idea that you're applying to everyone because that's what the Constitution does right you have to be able to reduce it to a single test if this then what that's that's what it has to be and it's pretty goddamn clear right there if they are
- 25:49[SPEAKER_03]: a person who was born here in their parents were foreigners, emigrants that don't have status ambassadors or some other like fucking military attache or anything like that as a result of their government service, not citizens.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_03]: You're a fucking period.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's the end of that conversation, and that's the test.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_03]: Well, or our Native American citizens, I don't know, do they fucking live here?
- 26:12[SPEAKER_03]: Do they have their parents have citizenship?
- 26:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_03]: Well, then their fucking citizens, asshole.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_03]: Why is one of them?
- 26:18[SPEAKER_03]: Does one of the two parents have citizenship?
- 26:21[SPEAKER_03]: Then the answer is yes.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_03]: That's the fucking test.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_07]: shut the fuck up and homeboys is kept fumbling around today but this guy's a cloud I would they should have had Stephen Miller argue this although he would have called somebody a racial slur for how well and that's fine but here's the implications of this so there's more than a quarter million babies born each year in the United States who would be affected by this executive order um now if you let this continue it's a million over fucking four years for Christ six uh not only you changing
- 26:49[SPEAKER_07]: The country, culturally, with everything that's coming in, I guess, on temporary visas and all that other bullshit, because there is some people who are having kids here on temporary visas, and then claiming, said it's in shape and all that other shit, but also illegal to were coming in.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_07]: This swings elections as well, because where are they being born?
- 27:09[SPEAKER_07]: then great, then you grow up in that city, whatever changes your community, changes everything.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_07]: So yeah, this is a big fucking deal and why they didn't have the best and brightest arguing this today, I have no idea.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_07]: Usually they do, but yeah, just going through some of the highlights and the low lights of this,
- 27:32[SPEAKER_07]: But the guests, if you're just kind of gauge and Twitter and what's been going on today, is it appears four, four, and the only person that could swing it would be Amy Coney Barrett.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_07]: She's been uniquely unreliable.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_03]: Correct.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_03]: On the conservatives.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_03]: So I don't have a lot of hope for this.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_02]: The way that she votes kind of depends on the pollen count that day.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_02]: There's not a lot.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_02]: I can never tell with her.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, um, you know, because we had the, what was it the fucking conversion therapy yesterday?
- 28:04[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, so that one at least got shot down, but um, yeah, all foxes is covering this right now because this is going on live.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_07]: So Bob played this clip right here.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_07]: There was people inside the courtroom, fox included.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_07]: And fox, let's face it super right, obviously.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_07]: And if they're saying this ain't gonna happen, probably ain't gonna happen.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_07]: And
- 28:27[SPEAKER_07]: They're expected to have a decision potentially by late June.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_07]: Go to your Twitter, Bum, okay, play this.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_16]: Hey, a child is a US citizen.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_07]: Well, it's a new world.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_16]: This is the same constitution.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_01]: So, new world's same constitution, most on the bench seem to think that this executive order won't pass constitutional muster, but probably late June before we find out for sure, Sandra.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, Shannon, Breen, why I've outside the Supreme Court for us?
- 28:53[SPEAKER_13]: Hey, Rachel.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_07]: I just don't understand why this wouldn't pass the constitution.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_07]: Like you said, I don't get it.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, like there's first principles involved and one of them creates the United States constitution entirely, and that's the idea what citizenship is, right?
- 29:11[SPEAKER_03]: It is designed to reflect the allegiance and consent of the existing polity.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_03]: We are in a unique country where powers is derived from the consent of the governed.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_03]: Right?
- 29:27[SPEAKER_03]: And their voice matters, their consent of the government comes in the form of voting.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_03]: We cannot secure our elections and we can't define who citizens are.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_03]: It is a fucking trick of geography, apparently, not of allegiance to a particular worldview or allegiance to a particular system of government or a system of laws at all.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_03]: What the fuck are you talking about?
- 29:50[SPEAKER_03]: with this shit.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_03]: So this is our standard now, is that China can send a bunch of their fucking pieces of shit over here to have their shitty little kids and then send them back to their fucking shitty indoctrination, communist indoctrination factories and then send them back here when they turn 18.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_03]: What?
- 30:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_03]: The fuck?
- 30:09[SPEAKER_03]: To vote in our elections, this is an invasion.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_03]: Simple as, it is an invasion, they've done it legally and they've done it illegally and it's time to make all of the legal versions illegal.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_03]: Unrestricted, juicily, let's outsiders, including those evading laws, by the way, dictate the membership into the American fraternity.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_03]: untenable that is not what citizenship is no historical definition of citizenship would be that is about a fact most citizenship throughout all of human history were layered and something like a feudal system where if you're a natural born citizen you have rights if you're a fucking citizen that came later on you have less rights
- 30:52[SPEAKER_03]: frankly the first generation has less rights the second generation that was actually born in the United States has more rights now we didn't do that we didn't do that we we confer immediate equal rights on to anybody that attains citizenship which means that citizenship itself must be protected
- 31:08[SPEAKER_03]: that's the only way to do it.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_03]: There's no tiered system where you slowly become Roman here.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_03]: You are immediately American, which means that has to be the greatest test possible to keep assholes out of our country.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_03]: But that's not the way it's going to be apparently.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_07]: No, and then Bob, go to this next clip because I just want to break your brains with the Kintanji Brown Jackson today.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_07]: Just a couple clips of her.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_07]: play this one here.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_07]: By the way, Trump was there, which is highly unusual.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that is unusual.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_07]: So he went in because he said, look, I care about this matter and I want to hear these arguments.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_07]: At a certain point, he left unclear why, but he's also, you know, and with a lot of shit, including one of Dan's predictions came true about an hour ago, and we'll play that after this.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_07]: Play this clip first, Bob.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_15]: I was thinking about this, and I think they're various sources that say this, that you can have, you obviously have permanent allegiance based on being born in whatever country you're from.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_15]: That's what everybody recognizes.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_15]: But you also have local allegiance when you are on the soil of this other sovereign.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_15]: And I was thinking, you know, I'm, I, U.S. citizen and visiting Japan.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_15]: And what it means is that, you know, if I steal someone's wallet in Japan, the Japanese authorities can't arrest me and prosecute me, it's allegiance meaning can they control you as a matter of who I would have leased you.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_15]: I can also rely on them if my wallet is stolen to, you know, under Japanese law go and prosecute.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_15]: the person who has stolen it so there's this relationship based on even though I'm a temporary traveler I'm just on vacation in Japan.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_15]: I'm still locally owing allegiance in that sense.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, there's only two options here.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_03]: One is allegiance and the second is subject to the laws
- 33:16[SPEAKER_07]: there's only two and one of them is clearly the correct one and she's still missed this is why this country is fucked you've got one of the dumbest human beings on the highest court that we we possibly have i don't whatever your your party is man you throw that at the window just for a second with this fucking lady
- 33:36[SPEAKER_07]: I've never met anybody, Dumber.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_07]: You can disagree with people's decisions, and everybody else, but this person is just so goddamn stupid.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_07]: I've never seen somebody assigned to a position this high in our country that is this fucking dumb.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_02]: Have you ever seen, Dan, I'm pretty sure you have, because I think you and I were messaging back and forth about it.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_02]: Have you ever seen those, the breakdowns of, at the end of the year, they, they show all of the justices and the amount of time that I'm going to show you.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_02]: The bad minutes they talked.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_02]: And like, she is like, double the nearest competitor.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, the top three of the other women.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and we all so this is a cultural thing.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_02]: We all know that this has been studied time and time again in a typical day women use what three times as many words as men do typically.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know, listen.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_07]: Meaning that it's just in one ear out the other.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_07]: What's the sandwich?
- 34:35[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's all I hear.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_07]: All right, we're a frequency cannon to be honest with my sandwich.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_03]: We're lucky to have super smart women, you and I. Yeah, and it's not like that.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_03]: I listen a lot, actually, especially after my wife's.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_02]: My wife's the best listener.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_03]: Boom.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_03]: Rapp on the meat.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_03]: No, that like we spend as much time.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_03]: I would say we probably split time talking.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_03]: And then laughing at dumb shit, kids do.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_03]: That's probably, yeah.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_03]: But like for the, there's a sliding scale, the dumb or somebody gets the more their mouth is open.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, this is her.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_02]: This is her.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_02]: That's, I always, in, you know, I'm a physician.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_02]: So in medicine,
- 35:16[SPEAKER_02]: The amount of time you spend explaining to me while you're there to that day is inversely proportionate to your medical necessity to actually be there.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_02]: Typically, not always, but typically.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, all right, all you had to say was I'm coughing.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_02]: That's literally all you had to say, and we could have moved on from here.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, let me ask the follow-up questions.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_03]: You gave me the 80% of the information you gave me was nonsense.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_02]: I'm, you know, I trained as an emergency medicine physician, you know, I, I'm still, still board certified.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_02]: I also work in an urgent care capacity.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_02]: And I always wanted, I want to know, I want the story to start the moment you decided to look on Google Maps and figure out how to get to me.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_02]: What was happening at that moment?
- 36:06[SPEAKER_03]: The moment where you felt like it was outside of your control.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and you needed, you needed medical help.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_07]: That's why Dr. Mike, it's Ross Patterson, I need to book an appointment, my three inches.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_07]: Too much on my penis and I needed to donate to a need to kid in China.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_07]: No.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's it.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_02]: No problem.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's done and done right so But when I have people come in When I have a gentleman who's 84 years old come in and I say so what brings you today?
- 36:31[SPEAKER_02]: He said and he starts off with When I was four years old
- 36:36[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's like, it's like the Titanic meme, you know, I know, 84.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_02]: It's been 84 years or whatever.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't need history.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_03]: Or listen, just tell me why you're bleeding.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's like, I don't need, you know, we can go back.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_02]: And I was telling them, like, hey, why don't we go back and explore that in a minute?
- 36:52[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, it's going to right now.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, what's going on right now?
- 36:55[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, a cute symptoms.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_03]: Your leg is snapped in half.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_03]: I don't need to understand why you should have drank more milk as a child.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_03]: I could see the evidence.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_02]: But it's kind of like, you know, it's so the little diatribe that she just went on is a great example.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_02]: She mentioned so many, there was so many unnecessary, all she had to say was when I'm in another country, I have to obey their laws.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_07]: Why would a black person, though?
- 37:19[SPEAKER_07]: The only stealing?
- 37:20[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_07]: That was the first thing that I thought of.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_03]: You know what?
- 37:23[SPEAKER_03]: The only thing?
- 37:24[SPEAKER_02]: The only first thing I knew I knew I knew I knew it.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_02]: I knew I picked a wrong day to be on this show.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you did the only button.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_03]: The only thing that would have been funnier as you she was like, if I was in Japan and I still somebody's bike.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, whoa, I can't do it.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_03]: I don't wear it.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_07]: Where's she still a hubcap in Canada?
- 37:41[SPEAKER_07]: No.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_07]: What would happen to the Canadian government, me, whatever?
- 37:45[SPEAKER_03]: Speaking of Canada, so Alberta got the requisite amount of signatures to have independence on the ballot and the fall.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_07]: Really?
- 37:54[SPEAKER_03]: Interesting.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_03]: They're going to vote on independence now.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_07]: What happened?
- 37:57[SPEAKER_03]: Isn't that interesting?
- 37:58[SPEAKER_07]: It is.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_07]: It is actually.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_03]: All of the oil in Canada is in Alberta, not all of that at all.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_03]: All of the usable oil and all of the beef, so I mean they're just going to get gayer and poor up there.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_02]: Have a nice day.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_02]: There's been a bunch of factions, Canadian factions that wanted to brand their first nation is wanted to branch off on its own.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_02]: Come back as old as you.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the Kibbaquas for a long time, a bit wanted independence.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_07]: And you know, I'll have Cherokee in Chaktaos.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_07]: And then my baby, she's a chick-a-law.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_07]: She's the one of the kind.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_07]: Bob, play this last clip here that I just sent you and then we can we can move on, but yeah, and I want to move on to Kristi Nome now.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, we will, and this is this is the lawyer here going against Jumanji and then, you know, they're going to decide this in June.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_07]: They are, they just did wrap for the day, so this will be decided in June, the press play.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_16]: As is, there's currently a system where
- 38:56[SPEAKER_16]: For example, secure social security numbers are generated based on the first certificate.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_16]: They say this can still be for the vast majority of instances completely transparent.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_16]: You will still get it.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_16]: You're not transparent.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_15]: I'm just talking about the particulars because now you say your rule turns on whether the person intended to stay in the United States and I think just as bear it brought this up.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_15]: So we bring pregnant women in for depositions.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_15]: What are we doing to figure this out?
- 39:19[SPEAKER_16]: Now, as I pointed out earlier, the executive order turns on lawfulness of status.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_16]: So if you give birth to a baby in the hospital right now, it's gets the birth certificate in the system.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_16]: There's a computer system.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_15]: So there's no opportunity.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_15]: There's apparently no opportunity then for the person to prove or to it's
- 39:35[SPEAKER_15]: a say that they actually intended to stay in the United States.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_15]: Absolutely not.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_16]: The opposite is true.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_16]: They're opportunity to dispute if they think they were wrongly denied, which will only happen in tiny minority cases.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_15]: After they're directly addressing that guy.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_15]: After the fact, after their baby has been denied citizenship, then we can go through the problem.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but it's not a fucking magic, fucking wrong.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_15]: Right.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_16]: Yes, but there's a computer program that currently automatically generates a social security number.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_16]: It's a say, says, look, a social security number.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_16]: Non-citizens can have them if they work authorization.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_16]: So it doesn't prove citizenship.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_16]: We'll give you a social security number provided that there's the system automatically checks the immigration status, the parents, which they're robust databases for, and then if here's no different to the vast majority of berthing parents.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_16]: Thank you.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_13]: Thank you, council.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_07]: So again, man, this guy, that voice, the stuttering, the, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh,
- 40:45[SPEAKER_07]: This actually came from my kids and I'm not kidding because they've got a new line Bob popped this up on their little gold bars there.

- 51:28[SPEAKER_02]: You wouldn't send her in front of the Supreme Court, that would you.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_07]: I would not.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_07]: I'll put it this way.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_07]: I've got six or seven of my fraternity brothers who became lawyers.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_07]: There's only one.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_07]: that I would send into, to actually argue a case, and he's one of the very best in the United States at it.

- 53:19[SPEAKER_03]: It's probably one of the 2,000 pound bonker busters.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_03]: How do you spell that?
- 53:31[SPEAKER_03]: It's, it's Fahon, excuse me.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_03]: I.S.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_03]: F.A.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_03]: H.A.N.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_03]: And it was from day and a half, two days ago, so I'm like that.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_03]: This one, we dropped bunker busters, but we also very clearly hit either a fuel depot, which is unlikely, or a missile depot and accelerant.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_03]: It's very dynamic.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_07]: So the last one we just showed was confirmed that that was a missile depot.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_03]: Now that was a missile depot, probably with that.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_03]: So you can tell when we play this next one, I'll show you the difference between.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_03]: the primary and secondary explosions, and also even with the primary explosion, what you're looking at in two different cases.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_03]: The one that we hit today that last explosion you just saw is almost certainly a factory, like pre-assembled parts, maybe, but no accelerant.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_03]: Because that's all bomb.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_03]: Then one, a bob, that's definitely not it.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_03]: We're talking about a fucking massive explosion and it was at night as well.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, that was fun.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_03]: that's it.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_03]: That's one of them right there.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_03]: You see that right there.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_03]: You see the difference.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, put that up on screen.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_03]: Watch this.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_02]: that.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_02]: That's second area.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_03]: That is secondary.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_03]: So you see there's already, that is a bomb that went off.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_03]: And then secondary explosion.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_03]: This is a bunker buster that was a direct hit on something that had accelerant in it.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_03]: Probably missiles, almost certainly missiles.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_03]: And then you can see right here all the whole.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_03]: If you keep watching, you see all those things popping off up into the air.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_03]: There's a second additional secondary explosions.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_03]: We, that is a, and you can still see them.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_03]: They're all over the place.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_03]: All those little flares up there.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_03]: This, we, that was a direct hit on a missile depot with the missiles loaded and ready to go.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_03]: Ordent, so it's already on them.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_03]: The one that we hit today that you just showed, you see how much more muted it is.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_03]: Those are missile, those are probably assembled missiles without warheads or without the accelerant inside of them yet.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_03]: One of the two are maybe both.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_03]: So if you think about that,
- 55:38[SPEAKER_03]: from a choreography standpoint, we hit ones that we're ready and now we're hitting ones that we're in production.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_03]: That means we're getting closer to the source.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we're tightening the kill chain, as we like to say.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know if they could do it with it.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_02]: Does anybody know what the source of this video?
- 55:53[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of shaky.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_02]: It looks almost like itself.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_03]: It's probably cell phone.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_02]: If, if, if, if, if, if filmed in the right manner you can actually do the light refraction from that explosion and determine exactly what the local compounds.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's, it's spectroscopy.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, spectroscopy.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_03]: That's how we tell what stars are made out of a planet's issue.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's how they can go that that particular star is 98% whatever.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_03]: It's really interesting the way it works.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_03]: Do you know what the slit experiment is?
- 56:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I did it in college.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_03]: No, sure.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_03]: No, so you can fight.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_03]: You can take three colors.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_03]: Well, the original experiment is about.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I did three colors.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I'm a tangling one.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_03]: But you can take three colored flashlights, right?
- 56:34[SPEAKER_03]: Primary colors.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_03]: And you take, you cut a slit and a piece of paper and you fold it in a corner like this and fire the light through it.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_03]: Actually, I'm going to find it so you can see.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_07]: Well, while you're looking for that, I'll announce some breaking news here.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_07]: So President Trump is just announced that he will address the nation tonight.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_02]: So probably about what we were talking about.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I said, he's going to give an important update on Iran as the war continues in its fifth week.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_07]: The Trump address is set for 9 PM Eastern Standard Time, so that's 8 PM for us.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_07]: What's he carrying?
- 57:06[SPEAKER_07]: Come on, leave it just announced it.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_07]: And I would have to think this is going to be over the timeline of leaving.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_07]: Because yesterday, he held another press conference at the White House saying, hey, dude, we're almost done.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_07]: And I feel pretty good about what we're going to do.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_07]: There's only a few more places we want to head.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_07]: We're probably going to get the fuck out of there in two weeks.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_07]: And it goes maybe a couple days longer.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_07]: So that would stick to his original timeline.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_07]: And if you blow up the entire Navy,
- 57:34[SPEAKER_07]: You blow up every nuclear reactor they have or anything that can potentially build nuclear weapons, and then you blow up pretty much all of their military sites like what else is left there.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_07]: And then what more should be expected of us, his goal was pretty clear of like look, I want to get rid of the nuclear threat.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_07]: And then hopefully the people of Iran will rise up, we'll see if that happens or not, but I would imagine he'll chat about that tonight in front of the nation.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_07]: I actually don't mind this because a lot of people are out there bitching about gas prices and rightfully so and they want to know when the fuck this is this is coming to an end here.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_07]: So I would assume he will say this Tonight although he did release a statement yesterday, but I'll share with you and you can play that one real quick So I would expect something similar
- 58:26[SPEAKER_07]: Tonight, but we'll see, also, hopefully, Artemis 2 takes off on time and safely, it is scheduled to launch.
- 58:35[SPEAKER_07]: We talked about this on yesterday's show and they are going to go through with it.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_07]: at the proper time and everything else, and I'd imagine he'll chat about that as well.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_07]: Dan, is there any strategic decision to make it two hours afterwards?
- 58:51[SPEAKER_07]: Well, that two hours after what Artemis takes off.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_07]: Does that, do you pass a certain level there through the atmosphere where you feel safe about the mission?
- 59:01[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I mean, we'll know within the first five minutes.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_03]: OK. You have to get to about 25 to 26,000 miles per hour to escape the atmosphere and Earth's gravity.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_03]: Once you're outside of that, you eject your boosters or whatever.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if they're using the recoverable ones on this or not.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_03]: But if not, you eject your boosters and you just have the 26 foot long craft.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_03]: OK.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_03]: there's not a whole lot that happens, at least from the observers standpoint until they start the path around the moon.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_03]: So at some point, I think it's in about, I'd have to look at this a give, I think somewhere around 20 to 30 degrees into that turn we lose comms for, I mean, you've watched Apollo fucking 13, we lose comms for like an hour, half hour, so I'm like that.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_03]: And then it comes back online after they make a turn.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's at 60 or 70 degrees.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_03]: The other side.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_03]: Once they come around and kind of get out of the way of the moon.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_03]: And we can do, we have line aside again.
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that'll be fun.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_03]: But that'll be, that'll be five days in.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_03]: Right right.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_03]: Well, it'll be four and change days in when we lose contact and you know, some small amount of time afterwards.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_07]: But in regards to tonight's address,
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_03]: we'll have an answer of whether or not they made it through the atmosphere safely and then probably have an update on Iran provided they actually launched there's no weatherers so far so good as an hour ago i checked at checked in all yeah so everybody they started loading the fuels source in this morning they're in they're all typed up now yeah but that's not the same thing so they started loading the big problem that they had before was uh seal right
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_03]: It's what happened with Challenger, the seals leak and you get up in the atmosphere and pressure comes in.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to blow that motherfucker up.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_03]: They under pressure start filling it with fuel very slowly at first.
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_03]: And then once it reaches a certain level and it's pressurized inside there just fills the rest of the way up.
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_03]: If by, if this isn't called off within the next, let's see.
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_03]: hour or so, that part's not an issue, and it'll just be maintenance, PCI's and PCC's before they get ready to go.
- 1:01:14[SPEAKER_03]: If they don't find anything that's flagged, they'll fucking take off.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_07]: There's already a half a million people, by the way, watching on NASA's YouTube channel.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_07]: I'm going to be one of them.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_07]: I'm really excited for this.
- 1:01:26[SPEAKER_07]: But let's play this clip now, because I imagine this is what he'll chat about tonight as well regarding Iran.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_12]: And we have a country that's not going to be throwing a nuclear weapon at us in six months.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_12]: So the Americans are feeling effects in the interim.
- 1:01:46[SPEAKER_09]: And they're also feeling a lot safer.
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_12]: What does the plan to bring them back down?
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_09]: Well, I have to do is leave Iran and we'll be doing that very soon.
- 1:01:53[SPEAKER_09]: And they'll become tumbling down.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_09]: And stock prices were up today.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_09]: Almost to a record.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_09]: No two things, number one, we have a safe country.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_09]: We had to take a little due to it because we had a madman named Cometi, who sadly is no longer with us.
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_09]: And we had regime change already.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_09]: We've knocked out one regime, though we knocked out the second regime.
- 1:02:17[SPEAKER_09]: Now, we have a group of people this very, that are very different.
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_09]: They're much more reasonable.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_09]: I think much less radicalized.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_09]: It's a, we've had regime change.
- 1:02:27[SPEAKER_09]: We're dealing with people that are much more rational.
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_09]: It's amazing what we've done.
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_09]: We had to make a little detour.
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_09]: So when the stock market broke all records, just a few weeks ago, when it hit 50,000 under the Dow, 7,000, and the S&P, I said to the American people, it's time that we have making a little detour because we have a med band that once a nuclear weapon, and if we did not come out with a B2 bomber, we would have a nuclear weapon right now.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_09]: It wouldn't have been used before this before today.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_09]: And you may not be standing there asking that question, OK?
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_07]: OK.
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_07]: So if he's saying we're getting out of there, just in a normal press conference at the Oval Office, assuming he's going to go live to the nation tonight and say, all right, here's the timeline.
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_07]: Here's what you can expect.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_07]: And I think it's going to be true to my words.
- 1:03:19[SPEAKER_03]: I think there's going to be an announcement on his communication with the current president of Iran.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_03]: Who's that?
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_03]: I can't remember the guy's name.
- 1:03:27[SPEAKER_03]: It's some fucking Persian guy.
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_03]: I, I would, I would be, um,
- 1:03:36[SPEAKER_03]: skeptical of that guy's ability to control anything inside that country unless he's planted on going full dictator for at least a little while.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_03]: Right now, whomever is in charge of the IRGC, like whoever has the confidence of the bulk of the second tier of leadership, say let's say, the major to kernel, I guess if you want to call it that version,
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_03]: That are out there that's who's gonna be running that country until somebody fucking established a security So we'll see what he has to say.
- 1:04:08[SPEAKER_03]: It'll be interesting.
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_07]: It will it will Bob go to the next clip here So roughly an hour ago the astronauts walked out to the launch pad here Love this fucking energy coming out of these guys dude.
- 1:04:22[SPEAKER_07]: Um, this is what I want to see I mean I wish is there a hype song?
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_07]: I hope there's a hype song.
- 1:04:27[SPEAKER_07]: I haven't watched this video yet
- 1:04:30[SPEAKER_07]: Be great if they came out.
- 1:04:31[SPEAKER_01]: So they are NASA's Artemis.
- 1:04:33[SPEAKER_07]: You are Chicago Bulls.
- 1:04:35[SPEAKER_07]: You know?
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_07]: And it's just broken to right now by Van Haley.
- 1:04:40[SPEAKER_02]: Well, to me, thunder struck.
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_07]: Every rock out song should be thunder struck would be great.
- 1:04:46[SPEAKER_01]: To a wonderful applause from the crowd.
- 1:04:49[SPEAKER_07]: Are those water bottles strapped to their dies there?
- 1:04:52[SPEAKER_07]: I've never seen them before.
- 1:04:55[SPEAKER_03]: That's for poop.
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_02]: Is that for poop?
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_03]: The things on there on there on their cat or their cat.
- 1:05:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_03]: That might be PFD's personal floatation devices or something like that.
- 1:05:07[SPEAKER_02]: Those are integrated.
- 1:05:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they are.
- 1:05:10[SPEAKER_03]: But I don't know what else that would be.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_02]: I know there's like a repell rope that they have.
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe.
- 1:05:16[SPEAKER_02]: And that's like if they,
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_02]: obviously not gonna repel all the way down the fucking gantry, but if they get to a certain point, there would normally be like an elevator there and they can't do it.
- 1:05:26[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, we gotta get eyes of the gun on the show to talk about this stuff because there's also like, that's why they have they have totally different takeoff suits, then they're in flight suits and takeoff suits have, there's survival, there's fucking food in there, there's survival gear, there's a signal device, all kinds of shit like that in case they have to ditch out over the ocean.
- 1:05:46[SPEAKER_03]: You can see the uniform looks like it's loose fitting to some degree and the upper body is.
- 1:05:51[SPEAKER_03]: There's a lot of room in the upper body and the lower body, there's not.
- 1:05:54[SPEAKER_03]: Even if you're flying a jet that has over, I can't remember what the limit is, like 20,000 foot pounds of pressure, some like that, which is like pretty any modern jet, is anywhere from 20 to like 60, right?
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_03]: You wear a special fuckin' pants, that hold your fuckin' G-pants, it's like, it's to keep your shit from moving around too much, I guess.
- 1:06:15[SPEAKER_03]: Because even if you're not wearing them and you're on a plane, I hate it by the way, I hate flying and jets.
- 1:06:20[SPEAKER_03]: I just like, I get sick every single time, but not that I can't do it anyways, but the pants hold everything steady.
- 1:06:29[SPEAKER_03]: When you're chiefing, they call it that breathing exercise.
- 1:06:32[SPEAKER_03]: They do when you get above like three Gs.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_03]: Like, you're literally having to pull oxygen in your body because you can't breathe normally as too much weight.
- 1:06:40[SPEAKER_03]: And this, the pants like squeeze in,
- 1:06:43[SPEAKER_03]: your abdomen basically.
- 1:06:44[SPEAKER_02]: They have a reactionary.
- 1:06:46[SPEAKER_02]: It knows how many G. I don't know if it has an actual detector or if it just knows because of the flight plan, but it knows when to increase.
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_02]: It like inflates and become there's more pressure at certain points.
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_03]: So maybe the things are tanks or something, maybe their air tanks, although you would think you would hook into that.
- 1:07:05[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you think those would be extraordinary.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 1:07:09[SPEAKER_07]: Bob, now the moment we've
- 1:07:12[SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah, they're wearing type of answers.
- 1:07:14[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, they're typed up.
- 1:07:15[SPEAKER_07]: Go to that last clip there.
- 1:07:17[SPEAKER_07]: So this just came out about a half hour ago.
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_07]: They're fucking strapping in right now, dude.
- 1:07:24[SPEAKER_07]: So they're typed up.
- 1:07:27[SPEAKER_07]: Thankfully.
- 1:07:27[SPEAKER_03]: Somebody asked how many G's on takeoff.
- 1:07:30[SPEAKER_03]: It's probably three to four.
- 1:07:33[SPEAKER_02]: uh... what about what yeah because you're not pulling to you're going straight line right all the jesus front of you and it's steady to yeah did you uh... so that was side note here you're a lot of you a lot of the science fiction books of like the sixties and seventies when they were project a future a lot of those books took place in brizil
- 1:07:56[SPEAKER_02]: Because if you take the closer you are to the equator, the easier it is to reach escape velocity.
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_02]: Really?
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:08:02[SPEAKER_02]: So the theory was that at some point in the future, basically we would have this ring around the equator, and that's where all the space flights took off.
- 1:08:10[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 1:08:12[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:08:12[SPEAKER_07]: I would have said for Brazil, Orgy's.
- 1:08:14[SPEAKER_07]: You know, you want to stay even on the bed, and it's because it's hard.
- 1:08:17[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know how many Orgy's you've been in, but like the weight balance.
- 1:08:20[SPEAKER_07]: It really fuck up your whole game.
- 1:08:27[SPEAKER_13]: look at this dude at the astronauts shooting up as we mentioned earlier we are still anticipating the 624pm launch time there's a two hour launch window for this attempt obviously whether is going to play a key factor in here.
- 1:08:43[SPEAKER_13]: The launch could get delayed by weather conditions at Florida's Kennedy Space Center, but right now all indications are that this will be a 624 launch.
- 1:08:52[SPEAKER_13]: And Benjamin, this is fascinating for us to get this inside look.
- 1:08:56[SPEAKER_13]: You can only imagine what is going through those astronauts heads as they suit up.
- 1:09:01[SPEAKER_13]: Put the suits on and start to put themselves into that mental state to take off.
- 1:09:07[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they are heading to somewhere that very few people have gone before them.
- 1:09:12[SPEAKER_00]: But we also know that they are some of the most educated, smart, brave people out there.
- 1:09:18[SPEAKER_00]: And they will be laser for them.
- 1:09:19[SPEAKER_00]: And the community.
- 1:09:20[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, one can only insert.
- 1:09:21[SPEAKER_13]: And they're dumb.
- 1:09:22[SPEAKER_13]: And they're dumb.
- 1:09:25[SPEAKER_07]: Um, you noticed he didn't have his helmet on.
- 1:09:27[SPEAKER_07]: He was the only one.
- 1:09:28[SPEAKER_03]: His heads probably too big for it And then also they probably were a different helmet because they were flappin heads You're right.
- 1:09:34[SPEAKER_03]: Can you just disconnect completely at the jawline?
- 1:09:38[SPEAKER_07]: Body yeah, but they're all dived up guys and so they're ready to rock tonight and Weather wise
- 1:09:47[SPEAKER_07]: We're good, right?
- 1:09:48[SPEAKER_07]: Like this is going down.
- 1:09:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's going down.
- 1:09:50[SPEAKER_03]: Come.
- 1:09:50[SPEAKER_03]: And it would be only a maintenance issue at this point, or a medical event for one of the guys would, would, you know, I'm nervous.
- 1:09:59[SPEAKER_07]: Like watching that video, I actually felt nervous on that kid.
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_07]: It was last time I saw a shit like this was in, you know, when was a kid?
- 1:10:07[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:10:07[SPEAKER_07]: And it didn't work out that well.
- 1:10:09[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, space accent people to ISS like a couple of years ago is a big event the first time they did it with the dragon crew capsule But down around a moon, you know last time you were you were chucking around the moon But that part comes in a couple of days.
- 1:10:22[SPEAKER_05]: We can get people out of our orbit.
- 1:10:24[SPEAKER_03]: We're we're decently good at that now Yeah, I hope so the real question is when these people like
- 1:10:32[SPEAKER_03]: My real question is for the moon landing conspiracy people are they going to deny this happen to because of this radiation belt because that one of the big the only real argument that anybody's ever made that carries any weight
- 1:10:47[SPEAKER_03]: about us not having gone to the moon is about this radiation belt and if you go through it you just die right there about to over the next two weeks they're going to go through it and through it again and they they're not going to die because that's fucking battarded right because we definitely went to the moon so I'm very curious what Joe Rogan's going to
- 1:11:13[SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't believe any of that shit.
- 1:11:14[SPEAKER_02]: Is Rogan a full on tonight?
- 1:11:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I didn't know that.
- 1:11:17[SPEAKER_03]: Of the moon?
- 1:11:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:11:18[SPEAKER_03]: Well, he doesn't think the moon is at knock.
- 1:11:21[SPEAKER_03]: No, he's on that.
- 1:11:23[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, and maybe it's tongue and cheek for him, but there's going to be...
- 1:11:27[SPEAKER_02]: It's got as many times as he's had Dyson on the show.
- 1:11:29[SPEAKER_02]: And Dyson has explained in very simple terms why it was not fake.
- 1:11:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, there's probably a couple of different cohorts here.
- 1:11:38[SPEAKER_03]: There are some people who would deny that it happened even this time.
- 1:11:41[SPEAKER_03]: Right?
- 1:11:42[SPEAKER_03]: There are some people who are probably jokingly say that this is the first time that it's happened or at least they're saying it as a joke But they actually believe it.
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_03]: Huh, that it's the first time it's happened.
- 1:11:52[SPEAKER_03]: Curious.
- 1:11:54[SPEAKER_03]: I'm curious about that You know because people are really fucking dumb now.
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_03]: Do you know what I've really done?
- 1:11:59[SPEAKER_07]: You know I buzz all's in punch that guy
- 1:12:01[SPEAKER_07]: Because he said he didn't go to the moon.
- 1:12:02[SPEAKER_07]: I know.
- 1:12:02[SPEAKER_07]: He said, Hannah, a Bible.
- 1:12:05[SPEAKER_07]: And he said, can you put this, your hand on this Bible and tell me that you actually landed on the moon?
- 1:12:09[SPEAKER_07]: Can you tell God and put your hand on the Bible that you actually went to the moon?
- 1:12:12[SPEAKER_07]: He's fucking punch him to the face.
- 1:12:15[SPEAKER_07]: Which I loved.
- 1:12:16[SPEAKER_07]: It's like, hey, dude, he was there.
- 1:12:18[SPEAKER_07]: We were there, isn't the flag still visible, too?
- 1:12:20[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you can literally see with not with a telescope from Walmart or anything, but like an amateur astronomer with the right kind of equipment, not only can you see a flag, but you can see that there are reflective panels that we installed there that you can fire lasers off of and that their purpose for it is to tell how far away or how much the moon is getting
- 1:12:50[SPEAKER_03]: It's a math problem.
- 1:12:52[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:12:52[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it probably the best testimony that it was real is look at the old Soviet Union documents where they tracked.
- 1:13:01[SPEAKER_02]: all of the flight in real time because they weren't going to be fooled by footage right right they they needed to know if this was a real capability or not they verified it they knew we really went there's there piles and piles and piles of documents in the former Soviet Union that show they were watching it every step of the way so if you don't believe our own government I mean if if there was any government that would have sought to
- 1:13:31[SPEAKER_07]: And then Bob, go to the next link that I sent you there, so NASA, like I said, is going live with us tonight on YouTube, hopefully some other outlets pick this up, but they've already got 513,000 people who are watching this live here.
- 1:13:47[SPEAKER_07]: If you want to play it, it's interesting because you can see them there inside the crafts, is there volume on this?
- 1:13:53[SPEAKER_07]: There is.
- 1:13:54[SPEAKER_10]: Side both Andre and Jenny.
- 1:13:55[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, actually, Jenny was our eBQ mentor when I went through our Ascanner initial training.
- 1:14:00[SPEAKER_10]: So she helped us with all of our spacewalk training, which was kind of cool as well.
- 1:14:03[SPEAKER_03]: Let's just go.
- 1:14:03[SPEAKER_03]: We're in a fucking house.
- 1:14:04[SPEAKER_03]: She's a Ascanner.
- 1:14:05[SPEAKER_10]: They have Andre again, number two, with the rest of the close-out crew team there.
- 1:14:09[SPEAKER_05]: why don't we get another check with Darrell and actually might not want to have any bacteria or anything enter the ship.
- 1:14:15[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:14:16[SPEAKER_05]: Not as a few people are missing.
- 1:14:18[SPEAKER_03]: Number number two in the black guys, not wearing it.
- 1:14:20[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, they don't have bacteria.
- 1:14:23[SPEAKER_02]: Well, no, it's probably what it is.
- 1:14:25[SPEAKER_02]: The guys that are wearing the masks are the people that are getting right in the astronaut's faces when they're buckling a man.
- 1:14:30[SPEAKER_07]: OK. Well, they're strapped in now and they're dyked up.
- 1:14:34[SPEAKER_02]: Or they might have a...
- 1:14:38[SPEAKER_02]: They might have a questionnaire, they fill out every day.
- 1:14:40[SPEAKER_02]: Have you been in contact with anyone that's sick?
- 1:14:43[SPEAKER_02]: OK, kind of like when I log onto my work computer, it says,
- 1:14:49[SPEAKER_02]: by clocking in, you a test that you do not have a fever, any signs of illness, you know, because they don't want me making patients sick.
- 1:14:57[SPEAKER_14]: Sure.
- 1:14:58[SPEAKER_02]: So they might have something similar for them if you show up, and you say, hey, I got a sick kid, or my kid, there's a flu outbreak at my kid's school.
- 1:15:07[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, you're wearing a mask then, because you're an unknown.
- 1:15:10[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, now my only issue with this telecast that's going on right now if you're watching live on drink of rose podcast patreon with us is there's two women who are there and neither one of them are Katy Perry now as an astronaut I want to hear from another astronaut who's kind of reporting on this because it's When you turn it off tonight, what is the reporting from what looks like a what is chaos in sports center day scale king think about all this
- 1:15:35[SPEAKER_02]: Not sure, unclear, but I'm a real astronaut.
- 1:15:39[SPEAKER_02]: She was very clear.
- 1:15:39[SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't a ride.
- 1:15:41[SPEAKER_02]: Even though there were no controls inside the capsule.
- 1:15:44[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 1:15:45[SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't a ride.
- 1:15:47[SPEAKER_02]: They flew the same route as Alan Shepard, which is up, right?
- 1:15:51[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 1:15:52[SPEAKER_02]: So, and it was not a ride.
- 1:15:54[SPEAKER_02]: They're very clear on that.
- 1:15:55[SPEAKER_07]: They are astronauts, yes.
- 1:15:56[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 1:15:57[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 1:15:57[SPEAKER_07]: So, I would prefer Kay Perry's intelligence on this and her insights, but they have opted out.
- 1:16:04[SPEAKER_07]: And they're going with two other dummies.
- 1:16:06[SPEAKER_07]: I don't really understand what they do, but, well, look, that's the way way she goes.
- 1:16:09[SPEAKER_03]: Our government has filled with dummies, mongolids, um, like no one, when she got nominated for this position.
- 1:16:18[SPEAKER_03]: Sure, Christy, no.
- 1:16:19[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I was like, what the fuck are you doing?
- 1:16:21[SPEAKER_03]: All the other?
- 1:16:22[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's, well, Bob, go to your Twitter and, uh,
- 1:16:27[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I mean, everybody knows at this point now that her husband's a weirdo.
- 1:16:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:16:32[SPEAKER_03]: That she was cheating on him, huh?
- 1:16:34[SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm.
- 1:16:34[SPEAKER_03]: And that she murders dogs.
- 1:16:35[SPEAKER_03]: So somebody made this.
- 1:16:37[SPEAKER_03]: There it is.
- 1:16:38[SPEAKER_07]: This is the, what's one of the greatest means of all time.
- 1:16:40[SPEAKER_07]: Mary, fuck kill, and the kill is the dog for the audience.
- 1:16:43[SPEAKER_03]: Now there's one, there's one that's updated now that's funnier, and it's him with the fake tits on.
- 1:16:47[SPEAKER_03]: The guy on the left is her husband or ex husband, I guess.
- 1:16:50[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 1:16:50[SPEAKER_07]: No, they're still together.
- 1:16:52[SPEAKER_07]: And that's, by the way, I brought the Simple and Ross Pants from Revolution yesterday because he had the huge fake tits on all the other stuff.
- 1:16:59[SPEAKER_07]: I think that's the only reason she was allowed to have that three year relationship with Lewandowski was because he was in a some other shit that she couldn't provide and then he was just like fuck it.
- 1:17:09[SPEAKER_07]: like we're in South Dakota, and this is what I'm into.
- 1:17:11[SPEAKER_07]: So we looked at the fetish, by the way, and it's like a Barbie fetish where you want gigantic fake tits on a girl.
- 1:17:19[SPEAKER_07]: And I don't think Christy went far enough up for him.
- 1:17:23[SPEAKER_07]: She looks like she's big seas, which I support.
- 1:17:26[SPEAKER_07]: He's like a double-d type of guy, though, apparently.
- 1:17:29[SPEAKER_07]: And most of his comments online were in regards to, can we make these goddamn things bigger?
- 1:17:35[SPEAKER_02]: Interesting.
- 1:17:35[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:17:36[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, um as a doctor, I don't know what you would say to a patient like that, but I'm going to have back problems for sure.
- 1:17:43[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, right.
- 1:17:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:17:45[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I'm much, how much way are you carrying around with triple D's a lot.
- 1:17:48[SPEAKER_02]: So even if they're fake.
- 1:17:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, you figure.
- 1:17:53[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, let's, let's say you just went like a 1000 C C's.
- 1:17:58[SPEAKER_02]: that's a lot right that's that's that's that's a lot right that's big uh... and that's you know that's a kilogram each right uh... yeah ok yeah uh... two point two pounds of well technically four and a half pounds of four and a half nine including the fucking what was there before right i don't have five plus pounds of titties now now yeah okay we call it yeah we call a five pounds even right total it's
- 1:18:28[SPEAKER_02]: But think about that, you know, five pounds, it doesn't sound like much, five pounds all day.
- 1:18:36[SPEAKER_02]: Not ballast, it's not in your centerline, right?
- 1:18:39[SPEAKER_02]: So is it, I would ask the audience, is it easier to hoist a kettlebell close to your body or out away from your body, right?
- 1:18:47[SPEAKER_07]: Close, right?
- 1:18:48[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 1:18:49[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, it's not like I'm doing five pounds on your waist in your centerline.
- 1:18:55[SPEAKER_02]: No, it's on the front, right?
- 1:18:57[SPEAKER_02]: So.
- 1:18:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, over time, that's going to take a toll.
- 1:19:01[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:19:01[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, look, when we're carrying a large pack, you want to pack it as tightly as possible, and then up as high on your back as possible.
- 1:19:11[SPEAKER_02]: There's a reason the radio patch is right next to the frame.
- 1:19:14[SPEAKER_07]: OK. And then the last piece here before we chat about your book here, and I want to pop this up here.
- 1:19:22[SPEAKER_07]: I was unaware that there was
- 1:19:26[SPEAKER_07]: Well, lack of a better term understudies as we use in theater, but there's understudies for these astronauts.
- 1:19:32[SPEAKER_07]: Alternates probably.
- 1:19:33[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so somebody got sick.
- 1:19:35[SPEAKER_07]: Somebody got sick tonight.
- 1:19:36[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:19:37[SPEAKER_07]: And they had to fucking bounce or they do their suit or something like that too early.
- 1:19:41[SPEAKER_07]: They got alternate.
- 1:19:43[SPEAKER_07]: So this is.
- 1:19:44[SPEAKER_02]: You saw Apollo 13, right?
- 1:19:45[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, I did.
- 1:19:46[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:19:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:19:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:19:46[SPEAKER_02]: Don't you.
- 1:19:47[SPEAKER_02]: So that's the backup, you know, I haven't seen the movie on 20 years.
- 1:19:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:19:50[SPEAKER_02]: But remember, like, it was originally supposed to be Lieutenant Dan, and it ended up being Kevin Bacon.
- 1:19:57[SPEAKER_07]: Gary Sunnis.
- 1:19:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 1:19:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:19:58[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:19:59[SPEAKER_07]: K-bakes is what we call them on the show.
- 1:20:01[SPEAKER_07]: Um, we've never called him that ever.
- 1:20:04[SPEAKER_07]: So this is the backup for the check.
- 1:20:06[SPEAKER_07]: And her name is Astro.
- 1:20:08[SPEAKER_07]: Well, on Twitter, Astro Jenny.
- 1:20:11[SPEAKER_07]: Which Jenny Gibbons Jenny Gibbons and she says brushing up on procedures Astro Jenny is minutes away from heading to the rocket to perform final checks and install our little buddy rise on this on the spacecraft I keep seeing this in the tele the telecast Bob so that little stuffed animal.
- 1:20:28[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, she's Canadian too That's for the mission.
- 1:20:31[SPEAKER_02]: Is that a Pokemon?
- 1:20:32[SPEAKER_07]: No, it's for the mission.
- 1:20:33[SPEAKER_07]: So like they made a little moon, I guess.
- 1:20:35[SPEAKER_07]: Team Ryan's little action.
- 1:20:37[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, a little fun mascot.
- 1:20:38[SPEAKER_03]: She must be kind of a stud though.
- 1:20:40[SPEAKER_03]: She's 15 years younger than everybody else involved in this.
- 1:20:43[SPEAKER_07]: I tried it, too.
- 1:20:44[SPEAKER_07]: That's, so yeah, she's, she's studying up in that.
- 1:20:47[SPEAKER_07]: My thing is though, man, imagine you're this close.
- 1:20:50[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I see she's an engineer.
- 1:20:52[SPEAKER_03]: She's an engineer.
- 1:20:52[SPEAKER_03]: She's not she's got a PhD from Cambridge actually But an engineering.
- 1:20:59[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, she's an engineer.
- 1:21:00[SPEAKER_07]: So she would be replacing the other broad rights and by the way Sitting there God be like oh, man, hopefully she's diarrhea or got sick last night or some bad Chinese Yeah, maybe slip a little you just want to go up there.
- 1:21:11[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, imagine getting that close in life and then you just have to watch from the pad
- 1:21:16[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, she's the backup for Hanson, actually, for the other Canadian, not for the broad.
- 1:21:22[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, not the band.
- 1:21:24[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know if they're bringing the band up there to the moon to kind of play oomba.
- 1:21:26[SPEAKER_02]: She's the backup for, for, you know what, Hanson is that.
- 1:21:30[SPEAKER_03]: He's a giant man to, I think, based on the guy we showed yesterday.
- 1:21:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think it's part of, like, a big brother, a big sister program where we allow a Canadian to come on serious things from time to time.
- 1:21:43[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that's nice one.
- 1:21:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:21:45[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, make a wish.
- 1:21:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but for adults.
- 1:21:47[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they're not dying.
- 1:21:48[SPEAKER_03]: They're just Canadian.
- 1:21:50[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's all they are.
- 1:21:52[SPEAKER_07]: Kind of worse.
- 1:21:52[SPEAKER_07]: Mike, you got a new book out today.
- 1:21:55[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:21:56[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:21:57[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:21:58[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:21:59[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:00[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:00[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:02[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:02[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:03[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:03[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:04[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:05[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:05[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:07[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:08[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:08[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:09[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:09[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:10[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:12[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:14[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:15[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:16[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:22:18[SPEAKER_02]: I do.
- 1:22:20[SPEAKER_02]: I wanted to tell more than one story about my main protagonist.
- 1:22:24[SPEAKER_07]: But how did you know it's going to be three versus five?
- 1:22:26[SPEAKER_02]: First is five.
- 1:22:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 1:22:30[SPEAKER_02]: I think a lot of that has to do with me not wanting to overthrow my coverage, basically.
- 1:22:36[SPEAKER_02]: Me as a new author, a trilogy is daunting as it sounds as something I felt like I could take on.
- 1:22:44[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if I could take on say, you know, five books or a continuing series or something like that.
- 1:22:49[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't, and I'm gonna be honest with you, I have so many creative ideas bouncing around my head.
- 1:22:55[SPEAKER_02]: I have two or three other trilogies, slash series, and even some standalone books bouncing around my head that I want to work on.
- 1:23:05[SPEAKER_02]: I love this story, it's why I wanted to do it first.
- 1:23:09[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want I don't want to be like George R. Martin and it's 10 15 years down the road and it's like you know what the shine's kind of going off of the penny a little bit there's other things that I would rather be working on you know because then you're in a situation where you do what he did which is he disappoint your audience I don't want to do that his legacy is not good for that reason.
- 1:23:30[SPEAKER_03]: even like not even just not finishing the last book but not being present enough to be influential in the final season of the show yeah really fucking rub people the wrong way like if you're it look this is this is the thing if you make some if something that you create becomes popular enough
- 1:23:49[SPEAKER_03]: despite the fact that it's your intellectual property or in some cases your person.
- 1:23:53[SPEAKER_03]: It kind of stops belonging to that thing at that point, you know what I mean?
- 1:23:58[SPEAKER_03]: And that's what makes Tiger Woods dissent such a fucking problem.
- 1:24:02[SPEAKER_03]: If he was a some guy, a one thing, but he's a guy that got like millions of people or into golf who otherwise wouldn't be because of him.
- 1:24:09[SPEAKER_03]: And now it's like you didn't take care of it.
- 1:24:13[SPEAKER_03]: That's an issue for people.
- 1:24:15[SPEAKER_07]: And I can confirm with a lot of people who worked in that show.
- 1:24:18[SPEAKER_07]: They were not a fan of him either because they wanted more help from him and they couldn't get it.
- 1:24:24[SPEAKER_07]: And you know when you're ready When you're writing books that are a thousand pages Sorry, man.
- 1:24:30[SPEAKER_07]: It's tough and then the continuity and all that other shit comes into play and editing and
- 1:24:35[SPEAKER_07]: He's got lost, you got to finish it, you got to wrap it up.
- 1:24:39[SPEAKER_07]: So with this, that's why I asked you about why a trilogy is you want to wrap it up.
- 1:24:45[SPEAKER_02]: I knew I had more than one story about this character in me and I cut a trilogy with something manageable.
- 1:24:51[SPEAKER_02]: that I could do, and then I can always go back later and do another series.
- 1:24:58[SPEAKER_02]: There's 6,000 years to deal with that I can do prequel stories for if I decide to do those stories later.
- 1:25:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I just felt like a trilogy was manageable.
- 1:25:08[SPEAKER_02]: One more thing about George R. Martin and Dan and I were talking about this on Citizen.
- 1:25:13[SPEAKER_02]: My editor told me that he calls it the George R. Martin effect, and that if people will be looking for a book series online,
- 1:25:20[SPEAKER_02]: And if they see, oh, it's supposed to be a five-book series, but only three of them are out, they'll wait.
- 1:25:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they're like, I'm not even going to start that series because I don't trust, I know I've trust issues because of this geaser, so, you know, he's affected all of us, you know, I mean, he's, he's on a lot of great things, you know, I think the university created is amazing, uh, night of the seven kingdoms was really good, I really, I thoroughly enjoyed that, I don't know if you guys watched it, uh, I've watched all of the game of throw, I've read some of the books, I've watched all of the series, uh, but yeah,
- 1:25:54[SPEAKER_02]: finishing it and I get it man.
- 1:25:56[SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot of pressure.
- 1:25:57[SPEAKER_02]: I feel I'm writing book three now and I'm feeling a lot of pressure on me because I feel like I wrap it up and it's got to be a set of Scott.
- 1:26:05[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you got to stick the landing.
- 1:26:07[SPEAKER_02]: You got to stick the landing.
- 1:26:08[SPEAKER_02]: If you don't stick the landing that's all people remember is that no they're not going to remember how much they love book one or love book two it's you didn't stick the landing.
- 1:26:16[SPEAKER_02]: So
- 1:26:17[SPEAKER_07]: If it's any help, I can tell what I did.
- 1:26:19[SPEAKER_07]: What'd you do?
- 1:26:20[SPEAKER_07]: Listen to the audience.
- 1:26:21[SPEAKER_07]: And they're feedback.
- 1:26:23[SPEAKER_07]: Because they supported the same James series and the final answer is just out now and the audio book comes out in two weeks.
- 1:26:30[SPEAKER_07]: Who did your audio?
- 1:26:31[SPEAKER_07]: I do.
- 1:26:32[SPEAKER_07]: And then I've got 15 famous actors, a lot of NDAs because they didn't want.
- 1:26:38[SPEAKER_07]: it's graphic and out of control.
- 1:26:41[SPEAKER_07]: And then one license, AI, very, very famous, a list-ed actor that I went through and got a license for.
- 1:26:48[SPEAKER_07]: So this will be the first of its kind where I mean you're going to be guessing it all the characters.
- 1:26:52[SPEAKER_07]: I think most of the people who were able to get some.
- 1:26:56[SPEAKER_07]: One was an Oscar winner and book two that a few people guessed but I can't.
- 1:27:00[SPEAKER_07]: Once the NBA goes out, that is it.
- 1:27:02[SPEAKER_07]: But with this, listening to your audience, they're the ones that got you there.
- 1:27:05[SPEAKER_07]: And because everybody is a fan of your particular series, whatever that is,
- 1:27:12[SPEAKER_07]: My best advice is to give them the satisfactory ending that they want because you as an artist is a bullshit answer to me.
- 1:27:20[SPEAKER_07]: And I literally got this debate last night with my wife and I can, we and I, we can shit, we can talk about it right now.
- 1:27:26[SPEAKER_07]: The ending of the soprano's, right?
- 1:27:28[SPEAKER_07]: That was a beloved series that we all loved.
- 1:27:31[SPEAKER_07]: I actually, this is a true story.
- 1:27:32[SPEAKER_07]: Late last night, we were up and she's,
- 1:27:36[SPEAKER_07]: the audio editor on this and I said, look, this is what I'm looking for in this and I go, it's kind of like the, I go the sound of it.
- 1:27:44[SPEAKER_07]: It's like the last scene of the soprano is before it cuts to black.
- 1:27:48[SPEAKER_07]: She goes, explain that to me and I go, if you rewatch that scene.
- 1:27:52[SPEAKER_07]: And we ended up playing last night on YouTube.
- 1:27:54[SPEAKER_07]: I go, it is a lot of sound effects that are happening that are triggering because you think something is going now.
- 1:27:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's mini jump scares.
- 1:28:01[SPEAKER_07]: Well, it's meadow soprano parallel parking horrifically and then scraping her metal things against the thing, every time somebody entered the diner, you hear that bell ringing and you're like, fuck, is that somebody going to kill Tony?
- 1:28:15[SPEAKER_02]: The plate of french fries.
- 1:28:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, the flip of the jukebox.
- 1:28:18[SPEAKER_07]: So flip of the jukebox, the glasses on the tables, the thing, and I go, that's what you're responsible for for ending this.
- 1:28:24[SPEAKER_07]: And I go, it's going to be dependent on a lot upon you.
- 1:28:27[SPEAKER_07]: And she goes, what did you think of that ending?
- 1:28:29[SPEAKER_07]: And I said, I hated it.
- 1:28:30[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:28:30[SPEAKER_07]: She goes, what do you think of it today?
- 1:28:31[SPEAKER_07]: And I go, I still hate it.
- 1:28:33[SPEAKER_07]: I went back and we watched it three months ago, four months ago.
- 1:28:37[SPEAKER_07]: And then we watched it again last night.
- 1:28:39[SPEAKER_07]: It's on YouTube.
- 1:28:40[SPEAKER_07]: And it's only like a four minute clip that the ending of that show.
- 1:28:43[SPEAKER_07]: Love the song.
- 1:28:44[SPEAKER_07]: Don't stop believing.
- 1:28:45[SPEAKER_07]: So much that every time I hear that song, all I think of is the last episode of the spring.
- 1:28:49[SPEAKER_07]: But I'm one of those people that I want a final answer.
- 1:28:53[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I don't want to leave the audience guessing.
- 1:28:55[SPEAKER_03]: When you got a final answer, I did.
- 1:28:58[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, but like that, the final answer is that this life only leads to two things, death or prison.
- 1:29:05[SPEAKER_03]: That's the reason they wrote the scene that way, right?
- 1:29:08[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, you don't need to see Tony get what you open for.
- 1:29:11[SPEAKER_07]: I was hoping for him to get, uh, clacked.
- 1:29:14[SPEAKER_03]: I was hoping for something creative.
- 1:29:16[SPEAKER_03]: But the point is like,
- 1:29:19[SPEAKER_03]: ending Tony's life, whether it be through a life present life in prison sentence, which he would have done.
- 1:29:25[SPEAKER_03]: I got in if anything would have been processed.
- 1:29:27[SPEAKER_07]: And that was brought up in that scene, by the way.
- 1:29:28[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:29:29[SPEAKER_03]: Or just him getting clipped in front of his family or whatever.
- 1:29:32[SPEAKER_03]: This is the only two
- 1:29:35[SPEAKER_03]: like death or jail, it's gang life, and only ends in death or jail, and he threw out the series acknowledged that himself.
- 1:29:43[SPEAKER_03]: This only ends one of two ways, right?
- 1:29:45[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that's pretty smart.
- 1:29:47[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's pretty smart.
- 1:29:48[SPEAKER_03]: Like there are some of the in
- 1:29:52[SPEAKER_03]: And filmmaking and television, one of the biggest mistakes in my opinion, you can make is over exposition, like that movie signs when they showed the alien, the whole thing was ruined.
- 1:30:05[SPEAKER_03]: Right?
- 1:30:05[SPEAKER_03]: The whole thing for you?
- 1:30:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that movie sucked after that.
- 1:30:08[SPEAKER_03]: If they had never shown, if there's not, like,
- 1:30:11[SPEAKER_03]: this whole fucking reveal scene of what the alien looks like because it's theater of the mind right like my brain what my brain created to fill in that negative space was way more terrifying than some gayship they were going to put on television and what might like the anticipation or the and the acknowledgement.
- 1:30:28[SPEAKER_03]: of the fact that it's either death or prison for Tony and it's common, right?
- 1:30:33[SPEAKER_03]: That living inside my head is way more powerful than seeing a conclusion of it played out on screen.
- 1:30:38[SPEAKER_07]: And Mike, what about you?
- 1:30:40[SPEAKER_02]: So I would, I would, I'm with you.
- 1:30:42[SPEAKER_02]: I think him getting clacked was the right ending for the show.
- 1:30:45[SPEAKER_07]: I want to see him get clipped, yeah.
- 1:30:47[SPEAKER_02]: And,
- 1:30:48[SPEAKER_02]: It should have been by somebody we completely did not expect.
- 1:30:51[SPEAKER_07]: Well, there was a guy in that scene, because I literally just watched Lee Loss.
- 1:30:54[SPEAKER_07]: I don't, yeah, guy in that scene where they, I don't know him, but he looks familiar enough that he might be one of these other guys.
- 1:31:02[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 1:31:02[SPEAKER_02]: And the camera lingered on him just long enough.
- 1:31:05[SPEAKER_07]: There was four different shots of him.
- 1:31:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:31:07[SPEAKER_07]: Walk him in, go into the diner, go into the bathroom, and then he doesn't leave the bathroom.
- 1:31:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:31:12[SPEAKER_02]: I thought it should have been, uh,
- 1:31:14[SPEAKER_02]: somebody random, like maybe from the first two seasons, that we completely forgot about, that he wronged.
- 1:31:21[SPEAKER_07]: And I thought it was gonna be the guy in the woods.
- 1:31:23[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, that would have been, that would have been a good one.
- 1:31:26[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but that guy would have clipped Pauline or fucking Christopher's already dead.
- 1:31:30[SPEAKER_07]: Well, they were all of them were dead.
- 1:31:32[SPEAKER_07]: I believe at that point.
- 1:31:33[SPEAKER_02]: So I thought one of the scorned women should have killed him.
- 1:31:37[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, my no one's gonna tell herself it would have to be the Russian.
- 1:31:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, or, or, big pussy's wife.
- 1:31:44[SPEAKER_02]: Fuck, that would have been good.
- 1:31:46[SPEAKER_07]: He would have loved that too, by the way.
- 1:31:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:31:48[SPEAKER_07]: The real dude.
- 1:31:49[SPEAKER_07]: Bob, what do you thought so you don't know this, Mike.
- 1:31:52[SPEAKER_07]: But Bob's uncle is actually one of the best television writers for all time.
- 1:31:56[SPEAKER_07]: I did not know that.
- 1:31:57[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, for full house.
- 1:31:59[SPEAKER_04]: Well, that's nice of you to say.
- 1:32:01[SPEAKER_07]: Bob, full house is one of the best written shows of all time.
- 1:32:05[SPEAKER_07]: And yes, I put it up with a soprano's.
- 1:32:08[SPEAKER_03]: My version I do.
- 1:32:09[SPEAKER_03]: My version of full house is better at the prequel.
- 1:32:11[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:32:14[SPEAKER_03]: Danny kills his wife and then he's got a raise the fucking kids so like the wife got killed in the basement Yeah, like everything about the Danny Tanner character is serial killer He's obsessed.
- 1:32:24[SPEAKER_03]: I can see that with everything a fucking like the whole name in his dog comet even right He's like the attention to detail that he has is too great for a normal person
- 1:32:34[SPEAKER_03]: So the story is that he was like serial killing people and that like over the course of four or five seasons you find out He serial killing people is why finds out and then he fucking has to kill her and as soon as like they're at her funeral and then the next scene is ditted a dup dup dup dup Butter but pat dup So I did a movie for Jason Blum Do you know Blum house pictures?
- 1:32:55[SPEAKER_07]: I pitched that to Jason Blum and Then I wrote it online and like this huge Twitter thing and everybody
- 1:33:02[SPEAKER_07]: sort of commenting on everybody else at the same thing and then I made an AI poster and attached it and I go let's see this it was it came to my attention though that I forgot Bob Sagitt died it feels like he's still with us it does I don't want to recast Sagitt dude so you'd have to it had to be really young yeah
- 1:33:21[SPEAKER_07]: I just don't want to do that.
- 1:33:23[SPEAKER_07]: Saga, it was Saga dude.
- 1:33:24[SPEAKER_02]: What about that?
- 1:33:25[SPEAKER_07]: Hey, I get about it.
- 1:33:26[SPEAKER_07]: Well, hang on Bob, what was your thoughts on Supranos real quick?
- 1:33:29[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know the ending was fine, I don't know.
- 1:33:32[SPEAKER_07]: Don't say that, it's fine.
- 1:33:34[SPEAKER_07]: Nothing's fine.
- 1:33:35[SPEAKER_07]: Is it dinner fine?
- 1:33:36[SPEAKER_07]: Was it greater?
- 1:33:36[SPEAKER_07]: Was it fucking not?
- 1:33:37[SPEAKER_07]: Great.
- 1:33:40[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 1:33:40[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't like it.
- 1:33:41[SPEAKER_04]: I was satisfied with it.
- 1:33:43[SPEAKER_04]: You were?
- 1:33:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:33:44[SPEAKER_04]: At the time or later on?
- 1:33:45[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I didn't watch it at the time.
- 1:33:47[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, you watched it later.
- 1:33:48[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:33:49[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 1:33:49[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:33:51[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, uh, yes it was a wait.
- 1:33:52[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no.
- 1:33:52[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that was, I watched it.
- 1:33:53[SPEAKER_03]: I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it, I watched it,
- 1:34:10[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, I just didn't find the time to do it.
- 1:34:12[SPEAKER_04]: I was watching a million other shows.
- 1:34:13[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 1:34:14[SPEAKER_04]: So, Prano's on a live on a Sunday night.
- 1:34:16[SPEAKER_04]: It started before I had HBO, and so I never got into it.
- 1:34:20[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 1:34:21[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I mean?
- 1:34:22[SPEAKER_04]: I started when I was an eighth grade.
- 1:34:23[SPEAKER_04]: I'd never really got into it.
- 1:34:24[SPEAKER_07]: I was... Yeah, and that's a tough watch for an eighth grader.
- 1:34:28[SPEAKER_07]: You know, you're just on the cusp where you're like, Do I let him watch this or not?
- 1:34:32[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you're watching shit like Deadwood and Rome.
- 1:34:34[SPEAKER_03]: You're so, you're uncle, is it?
- 1:34:37[SPEAKER_03]: And his uncle's Jeff Franklin is your uncle.
- 1:34:40[SPEAKER_04]: No, he's just my uncle didn't create full house.
- 1:34:43[SPEAKER_03]: Who was the creator?
- 1:34:43[SPEAKER_03]: What's your uncle's name?
- 1:34:44[SPEAKER_04]: The writer and executive producer, I would say.
- 1:34:46[SPEAKER_04]: Rob Dames.
- 1:34:47[SPEAKER_04]: He wasn't an executive producer, but he was a writer on it for a while.
- 1:34:49[SPEAKER_04]: And made a lot of money on that and a bunch of other TV shows.
- 1:34:52[SPEAKER_04]: Let's rob him.
- 1:34:54[SPEAKER_03]: You said he made a bunch of money?
- 1:34:55[SPEAKER_03]: Where is it?
- 1:34:55[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he lives in Beverly Hills, no, I think.
- 1:34:59[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I know where that is, let's get him.
- 1:35:01[SPEAKER_02]: So I was in Med School.
- 1:35:03[SPEAKER_02]: I was living in Maryland, so which is essentially a third world country.
- 1:35:06[SPEAKER_02]: So I was used to
- 1:35:08[SPEAKER_02]: Utilities just cutting out on me, right, and I thought my cable dropped out When it went to black I was and I was a lot of people I was screaming We all I got my cable dropped out.
- 1:35:20[SPEAKER_07]: I'm sorry before but I'll tell it to you since you haven't heard it But I was living in a place in L.A.
- 1:35:25[SPEAKER_07]: It was like Mel Rose place.
- 1:35:27[SPEAKER_07]: It was like 20, you know, little apart Spanish full of bungalows right But there's no AC everybody's got their sliding glass doors open.
- 1:35:33[SPEAKER_07]: You can hear we were all watching it at the same
- 1:35:37[SPEAKER_07]: all of us did.
- 1:35:38[SPEAKER_07]: And we were like, what the fuck?
- 1:35:39[SPEAKER_07]: And then we all walked out of the balcony and we had the power.
- 1:35:41[SPEAKER_02]: And you're yelling at each other, right?
- 1:35:43[SPEAKER_07]: You're yelling at each other, you're yelling at the fucking landlord, everything.
- 1:35:46[SPEAKER_07]: We're like, yo dude, what the fuck?
- 1:35:48[SPEAKER_07]: And then the, you know, David Chase came on, criticized by David Chase and I go, fuck you, all of us.
- 1:35:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so did I, so did I.
- 1:35:57[SPEAKER_02]: Let me ask you this, bigger disappointment.
- 1:35:59[SPEAKER_02]: Tony's sopranos ending, or Michael Corleoni's ending.
- 1:36:04[SPEAKER_07]: Um, so
- 1:36:06[SPEAKER_07]: This is an age thing for me, because I watched the Godfather trilogy later on in life because it wasn't my time, right?
- 1:36:15[SPEAKER_07]: So Tony Supreno met more to me because it was my time and I was watching it and all there other stuff.
- 1:36:21[SPEAKER_07]: So I would have to say Tony Supreno, but I would also one caveat to that, I said to my wife last night, the fact that Gandalfini died
- 1:36:31[SPEAKER_07]: And we only kind of know him as Tony Supreno, like, I didn't get to see a fucking 30-year 40-year career of that actor.
- 1:36:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:36:41[SPEAKER_07]: I just saw Tony Supreno and there was a handful of other movies that came out.
- 1:36:45[SPEAKER_07]: But nobody really saw them and it was like, it was like Kobe's death.
- 1:36:48[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 1:36:49[SPEAKER_07]: Where he looked the same when he died.
- 1:36:51[SPEAKER_07]: So therefore, you kind of only remember him as Kobe Bryant.
- 1:36:53[SPEAKER_07]: He wasn't an old man.
- 1:36:55[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
- 1:36:55[SPEAKER_07]: And I would feel that way about anybody.
- 1:36:57[SPEAKER_07]: Like last night, there was an interview with Michael Jordan.
- 1:37:00[SPEAKER_07]: He's older now, man.
- 1:37:01[SPEAKER_07]: He's like 63, I think.
- 1:37:02[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you.
- 1:37:03[SPEAKER_07]: And you're like, okay, cool, this is what you look like now, and this is my memory if you're now versus... Well, it's kind of like, you know, to use, and we'll just talk about basketball.
- 1:37:12[SPEAKER_02]: My wife and I were talking about this yesterday.
- 1:37:15[SPEAKER_02]: Barclay has spent more time commentating sports than he spent playing them at this point.
- 1:37:20[SPEAKER_02]: So there's an entire generation that thinks of him that way.
- 1:37:23[SPEAKER_02]: Just like there was an entire generation that a entire generation that thought of Bob Yooker as a commentator and an actor, right, a comedic actor, right, they didn't think of him in other terms.
- 1:37:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Gandalfini, because of Gandalfini's death, I agree with you.
- 1:37:45[SPEAKER_02]: It's almost the perfect organism because it will never be, it never got spoiled by time by them trying to go back and do a where are they now?
- 1:37:55[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 1:37:55[SPEAKER_02]: I appreciate.
- 1:37:56[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 1:37:56[SPEAKER_03]: They did it, but like, the many saints of Newark.
- 1:37:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:38:00[SPEAKER_07]: The many saints of Newark, it was three.
- 1:38:03[SPEAKER_07]: And it was his son, he played him.
- 1:38:05[SPEAKER_02]: But they were trying to decide, it's like they had three different scripts and they merged him into one movie.
- 1:38:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:38:11[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, okay, it's,
- 1:38:15[SPEAKER_02]: It's a multi-santi story.
- 1:38:17[SPEAKER_02]: No, it's Dickie.
- 1:38:18[SPEAKER_02]: Fram, it's Dickie.
- 1:38:19[SPEAKER_02]: Dickie.
- 1:38:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:38:19[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:38:20[SPEAKER_03]: If you haven't watched yet, it's five years old.
- 1:38:22[SPEAKER_03]: Dickie gets like Christopher's dad got clipped by one of Junior's headers.
- 1:38:25[SPEAKER_03]: That cop.
- 1:38:26[SPEAKER_03]: It turns out was that cop.
- 1:38:27[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:38:27[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 1:38:28[SPEAKER_03]: So Tony wasn't lying to him because when I watched the original series, I think it's season three, I think it's season three, where they drive past the retirement parties like, hey, that's the cop that killed your dad.
- 1:38:38[SPEAKER_03]: We don't need him anymore, so you can fucking kill him whatever the fuck.
- 1:38:41[SPEAKER_07]: I always thought that was a Tony set them up not not set that I did to not a negative way Right, like manipulating and yeah, I thought he was telling him that and it and the reality of it was It was somebody who was there was elements that were good But I believe David Chase had Bobby you can fact check this.
- 1:38:57[SPEAKER_07]: I believe David Chase the creator had Parkinson's or some form of
- 1:39:02[SPEAKER_07]: Dementia and so somebody else had to help him come in and write that so it wasn't him Yeah, and it was later.
- 1:39:10[SPEAKER_03]: I mean it was years after Superino said that I was phenomenally disappointed by that I was yeah, but I think I think I think Godfather 3 gets a lot of heat
- 1:39:19[SPEAKER_03]: on necessarily.
- 1:39:21[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think it's that bad.
- 1:39:22[SPEAKER_02]: It's not as bad that what makes it bad.
- 1:39:26[SPEAKER_03]: What makes it bad is that it was a baton passing movie and then the baton gets passed and nothing Nothing.
- 1:39:33[SPEAKER_03]: Andy guard.
- 1:39:33[SPEAKER_03]: They could have made at least two more and then even more modern.
- 1:39:37[SPEAKER_03]: Get Andy Garcia still
- 1:39:39[SPEAKER_03]: a great actor great acts on landmen right now he's great in it great in it this great like why is there not a good why is there not a godfather for with with him and then you've we've been some more historical fiction of stuff that's been happening lately and the way that uh... organized crime is uh... evolved over time right especially now like there's
- 1:39:59[SPEAKER_03]: We like to think that O.C.
- 1:40:01[SPEAKER_03]: is mostly not exist now because of all these laws.
- 1:40:04[SPEAKER_03]: The reality is none of these got like there was a peak in the 70s through the 90s where they were fucking live in large, living out loud, wearing fancy suits, doing all the stupid shit, getting caught all the time.
- 1:40:16[SPEAKER_03]: And now real O.C.
- 1:40:18[SPEAKER_03]: is fucking underground again and it's still operating at a very high level.
- 1:40:22[SPEAKER_03]: right, and it's operating in different ways than it was before, but it still exists and that would be fascinating to watch, especially with an actor that gut.
- 1:40:29[SPEAKER_03]: His character on landman is fucking great.
- 1:40:31[SPEAKER_07]: I know, and Francis Ford Cople, I think he thinks he's going to die, so he blew his entire fortune on this movie.
- 1:40:41[SPEAKER_07]: Nobody would produce it in town.
- 1:40:43[SPEAKER_07]: Bob, I think it was called a crappellous
- 1:40:46[SPEAKER_07]: or Megalopolis or something like that?
- 1:40:48[SPEAKER_07]: Megalopolis.
- 1:40:48[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:40:49[SPEAKER_07]: And he spent like 85 million on this.
- 1:40:51[SPEAKER_07]: That's right.
- 1:40:52[SPEAKER_07]: And it made less than a million in the box office.
- 1:40:55[SPEAKER_07]: Like, it's a weird story.
- 1:40:59[SPEAKER_07]: And he's in his 80s.
- 1:41:00[SPEAKER_07]: So I don't, there's no shot of that.
- 1:41:02[SPEAKER_07]: It's going to have to be somebody new coming in.
- 1:41:04[SPEAKER_07]: Whereas heat, Michael Man's Soul, alive, so that that, you know, that sequence in production now.
- 1:41:10[SPEAKER_07]: And I've got high hopes for that.
- 1:41:12[SPEAKER_02]: I am daring to hope about that movie.
- 1:41:14[SPEAKER_02]: Same.
- 1:41:15[SPEAKER_07]: Same.
- 1:41:16[SPEAKER_07]: Now's the one to show we get to the drinking bro of the week, which is someone who has inspired you or helps you become the person you are today.
- 1:41:23[SPEAKER_07]: Mike, you've been on the show a few times here.
- 1:41:25[SPEAKER_07]: You want to give us to this time.
- 1:41:29[SPEAKER_02]: Gosh.
- 1:41:31[SPEAKER_02]: Person that inspired me.
- 1:41:36[SPEAKER_02]: there are so many and there's so many easy answers as well, but I don't really want to want to go for one of those.
- 1:41:41[SPEAKER_02]: I think, uh, I'm going to say Mark Twain.
- 1:41:46[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 1:41:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, just because I'm in the writing phase of my life.
- 1:41:49[SPEAKER_02]: So I can.
- 1:41:50[SPEAKER_07]: No, what did he do?
- 1:41:51[SPEAKER_07]: That's all kidding.
- 1:41:52[SPEAKER_02]: I appreciate him as a storyteller and as an observer.
- 1:41:57[SPEAKER_03]: And an asshole.
- 1:41:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, oh yeah, notorious asshole.
- 1:41:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, notorious asshole.
- 1:42:01[SPEAKER_02]: Not notorious asshole.
- 1:42:01[SPEAKER_03]: But cheeky, not like not like he's going to steal your shit.
- 1:42:05[SPEAKER_03]: More like he's going to fuck me like dude, those pants fucked.
- 1:42:08[SPEAKER_03]: Right, you know what I mean?
- 1:42:09[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 1:42:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:42:10[SPEAKER_07]: Val Kilmer was obsessed with them.
- 1:42:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that was his strength.
- 1:42:14[SPEAKER_07]: Have you seen the one man show?
- 1:42:15[SPEAKER_07]: So he did the one man show and by the way, the one man show that he paid for himself was in hopes to get that made into a movie.
- 1:42:21[SPEAKER_03]: Well, you know, fucking a lot of people, a lot of historians could consider Mark Twain, or sorry, Doc holiday to be Mark Twain with a gun, right?
- 1:42:31[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's a phrase people use before.
- 1:42:33[SPEAKER_03]: Really?
- 1:42:33[SPEAKER_03]: Just like a very creative, educated, you know, Doc holiday was a dentist, by the way.
- 1:42:41[SPEAKER_03]: Which is not a real doctor, everybody knows that, but still educated man and chose to live a debauchers life Yep, and a violent life just because for the love of the game.
- 1:42:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's felt No, of course for everything I've heard that Dennis Quaid version of Doc holiday was actually more historic way more I agree.
- 1:42:58[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I don't care though.
- 1:43:00[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, no, I want to be entertained because tombstone Come on Yeah, I've talked about tombstone too much in this show
- 1:43:05[SPEAKER_07]: But yeah, if you watch his documentary about Kimber's documentary, it's very good.
- 1:43:09[SPEAKER_07]: And his son sounds like him and the kind of AI that's together.
- 1:43:12[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:43:14[SPEAKER_07]: He's in character.
- 1:43:15[SPEAKER_07]: He was a method actor.
- 1:43:17[SPEAKER_07]: And he was in character as Mark Twain for like fucking six months.
- 1:43:20[SPEAKER_07]: And like including in his house when you're doing shit on the beach and you're just like, Jesus Christ, man.
- 1:43:25[SPEAKER_02]: Have you seen the documentary, have you seen the documentary on the island of Dr. Moro with him in Brando?
- 1:43:32[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:43:32[SPEAKER_02]: That documentary is fucking hilarious.
- 1:43:35[SPEAKER_02]: That movie is fucking the fact that the director got fired and just chose to live in the woods alongside the production.
- 1:43:42[SPEAKER_07]: He lost his mind.
- 1:43:44[SPEAKER_07]: He lost his mind.
- 1:43:45[SPEAKER_02]: And then he's he's in the movie as an extra after he got fired
- 1:43:49[SPEAKER_07]: He lost his mind.
- 1:43:50[SPEAKER_07]: They lost their minds back in that, not make any money, everybody lost their money.
- 1:43:55[SPEAKER_02]: Kilmer and Brando, hey to each other.
- 1:43:57[SPEAKER_02]: Just a second.
- 1:43:58[SPEAKER_07]: A fucking disaster.
