- 1:08You're everyone's fucking glue man. You're everyone's glue lay in the clothes dude,

- 1:29in the house. I swear to God. Well fuck yeah, dude,
- 1:32you got dude, like talking about working your ass off. Man, all
- 1:34I see is you up like mad ass early and fucking buck deck of dawn,
- 1:38getting your workout going, and then being in the garage getting ship done.
- 1:42It's like, dude, I don't fucking sleep, man, it doesn't
- 1:45seem like it. I told Nashan, like, I've taken up to not
- 1:49even sleeping in the bed anymore. Yeah, because I'm so active. And
- 1:56I tell her it's like my eight d goes all over the fucking place like
- 2:00out. One second, I'm like, Okay, I'm gonna sit and chill.
- 2:01Then the next seconds like, well, I'm really tired, so I
- 2:04need to sleep. Then it's like, oh wait, dude, when I'm
- 2:06sleeping, there's tons of things that I'm not doing. So I told her,
- 2:09I was like, as opposed to getting out of the bed every four
- 2:12seconds and waking you in the baby up, I was like, dude,
- 2:14I'm thinking about just setting up a palette on the floor. I've moved a
- 2:17lot of shit into the closet where I am right. It looks nice.
- 2:22I like a new studio, dude, It's crazy. Like the thing is
- 2:24like I went and totally rearrange the upstairs. But I when I tell you,
- 2:28I live in this closet, live on this floor, like I'm not
- 2:30shipping you to ask you, dude, I love the sound. And CJ
- 2:37was like, CJS like, I don't know what you did for the last
- 2:38two or three episodes. He's like, to keep doing it. I was
- 2:40like, you want to know. He's like what. I was like,
- 2:43I've moved into the closet. I was like, yeah, dude, was
- 2:46like being the Seawan's closet downstairs. I was like, I just got tired
- 2:50of carrying ship up and downstairs for recordings, Like I've got a lot of
- 2:53portable shit, but it sucks to move it. I was like, so
- 2:54I just said fuck it through a fucking mini table and we just bought a
- 2:58table to go in here now, Like yes, you know. I was
- 3:00like, I just threw a table in the closet and like and speaking at
- 3:04Collapse, I like, I said, my ADHD is in full fucking control
- 3:07now because I haven't really smoked today. If at any point in time,
- 3:12you feel anybody feels the need to jump on, because I know I keep
- 3:15saying I'm not gonna do it, but I'm doing another show. I thought
- 3:19I saw you doing another one and C just trying to get me on X
- 3:22in J and then something else. Yeah, man, like you guys are
- 3:25doing like twelve shows, like what the fuck? Like, I'm seriously done.
- 3:30Like Black Eye MMA. It was a good idea and it still is.
- 3:31But I'm gonna put it behind the paywall because, like the people,
- 3:35if you're coming to sign on from my paywall, I'm gonna give you more
- 3:37than what you paid for. So right now you'll have exclusive jab on the
- 3:40t Black Eye MMA scene in fifteen after dark and then all the art and
- 3:44the stuff that we come out with. So for yanking fifteen bucks from you,
- 3:46dude, you're gonna get your money's work, right. And that's the
- 3:50Patreon dot com slash rump is correct. Yeah, absolutely, but fucking I'm
- 3:57so obsessed with Sons of Anarchy. I haven't seen it and I heard it's
- 4:02good. What's it? What's a stream on Hulu? Of course it's god.
- 4:08Yeah, I got man, my nig I got you. I'll put
- 4:12that bitch in a thumb drive and fucking send it. I think everybody should
- 4:15watch suns So, like I was sitting there playing with the notion and me
- 4:19and I Go were talking. I was like, I go, dudes,
- 4:21like I need to have you know, I need to have another show.
- 4:24It's actually generating something because I got dead space on on on Spreaker, and
- 4:29I was like, I can't have that. It's like, you know,
- 4:30I need to I'm in this point where I don't have to like break the
- 4:32bank all the time, but I need to generate capital. I was like,
- 4:35and I'm not putting, you know, jab on the Teabes. It's
- 4:39on its last legs because Van's busy as ship. But I'm like, you
- 4:42know, I need something to fill that hole. And the only two shows
- 4:45that I had, like the only three shows that I have that are really
- 4:46constantly steadily going are doing fine. But I was like, man if I
- 4:50do the Suns things like plus that way, I'm not pigeonholding anybody else into
- 4:55it. It's me and me alone. You know, I can put out
- 4:57it. I can literally go on Twitter and say, hey, I'm doing
- 5:00Avenue show. You're the only person. You're the only person that's actually you
- 5:03guys are the only people that are hearing this official The first saw your tweet,
- 5:08right and yeah, likes, wait, I thought this song Sons of
- 5:13Anarchy A right, the SA and I swapped the letters and I thought,
- 5:16you've had sword Guard online. Well you know, I just finished it yesterday.
- 5:23Fuck you. I'll jump on and I'm like, oh, he's talking
- 5:25about something different. He's like, yeah, you're dyslike sick. I'm like,
- 5:28I'm still I was like, fuck that. I'm still right with this.
- 5:30Nick. He's happy about but we're happy to do it. You gotta
- 5:33get going, rastan, Yeah, I get going. Oyeah. Well,

- 6:39anybody and everybody, because I figure, if I run it on my own,
- 6:42it's it's got it's got a limited kick. The only other thing that
- 6:46I can do to it fluff wise is if I open it up with a
- 6:47hey, this is what I'm doing, this is why. But I'm gonna
- 6:50call the show did I sutter? And first I'm gonna cover sons of anarchy
- 7:00said by episode, and if anybody wants to come on for a specific episode
- 7:03or whatever else, I'm gonna try to drop one a week. Cool,
- 7:06God, you're getting extra funk. I want to try that thing. You
- 7:11need to come, So you need to come to fucking Western New York.
- 7:14Yeah. We'll do a quick advertisement for this too. If you would like

- 7:19those extra carconagins, check out the air Riser air Riser EXQ two and tell
- 7:24him be a fit. Dw sent you. Yeah, dude, like you
- 7:27get like whatever you guys get out this way. Like at some point you

- 7:32like ten times a Plus I want to sit down and Plus I know that
- 7:35you're you're like hardcore veteran. You're you're you know, you've been off the
- 7:41drink for so many years. I know that you understand when it's like putting
- 7:45bad poisons and everything else in your body. Plus you know military all the
- 7:47conversations about you know, medicinal marijuana for veterans and everything else. Like,
- 7:51dude, I would seriously love to do my research and sit down and have
- 7:55a combo with you about that one. That would be so much fucking fun.
- 7:58But like, no, like you gotta come out here for like a
- 8:01weekend. We'll do like six fucking shows, man, Like we're just gonna
- 8:03like back to back to back. We'll do everything. We will do.
- 8:07We got to. Like I'll come out man because y'all y'all give me energy.
- 8:11Y'all really give me energy. Dude, you reflect it back man,
- 8:13like you're fucking tweets and shit. Man, fucking actually help a lot,
- 8:18like you have, no fucking joke. Hell, I can't do this without
- 8:22y'all, like when I tell you, and that's why I always fucking suck
- 8:24your dick whenever we talk, man, Like to be completely honest, I
- 8:28remember the days of Fuck, I don't know how to do this. I'm
- 8:31how to put this together. I know, I know, I know when
- 8:35to do my thing, and you know, fuck I failed with the odd
- 8:37pods thing, but you know it's a step back, but it's a step
- 8:39forward. I knew what I was doing. I was still making moves,
- 8:43but like you're You're the one that tied me into all this shit, man,
- 8:46And I'm like, if this motherfucker can pick his head up every day
- 8:48and be like, fuck this, we're gonna move mountains, and I'm like,
- 8:50God, damn it, I'm gonna do this shit. Fuck yeah,
- 8:54you're doing it. Man. I'm loving I'm loving the proper rump this shit.
- 8:56And no joke, I really appreciate you guys bringing me off for the
- 9:00streaming stuff because that is a great highlight for me each week when you guys
- 9:03bring me on. You were probably one of the only people that I will
- 9:09say with our network, you probably have free reign, you know, any
- 9:16any show that you want to jump on, like you could probably, like
- 9:18honestly and truthfully, you could probably pick up the phone and schedule yourself on
- 9:22one of our shows and nobody would say shit to you like this, Like
- 9:26seeing A fifteen after dark, it's like, I'll do the next one.
- 9:30Oh, shitt on on the whole back. Oh, matter of fact,
- 9:33that's what we need to get you out. Yeah, because we get mad
- 9:37stoned and we fucking we do some crazy shit. That'd be fucking cool,
- 9:41Like I want to a matter of fact shit, dude, if I can,
- 9:43if I can get you on fucking and did I did I sutter,
- 9:48that'd be kind of cool, like either for Sons or for fun, because
- 9:52I'm gonna do something. I'm at the very least I'm gonna do the Suns
- 9:56the Shield and Mayon's okay. I haven't seen Minds either, and I heard
- 10:01that's really good. Minds is good again. I just started rewatching fucking breaking
- 10:05bad, so I'm like, oh, fuck d but I'll probably just like
- 10:09matter of fact that if I could get it down to a sign. The
- 10:13reason why I'm doing Sons first is because I really want to see how it
- 10:16goes with me doing like deep dives in commentary on something that I love and
- 10:20something that I really want to do the research on. I would love to
- 10:24do that. For Breaking Bad, I think, like, dude, I
- 10:28think this is just my opinion. I think I love the Sopranos, I
- 10:33love fucking Sons of Anarchy, I love seasons, and one of season three
- 10:37is a true detective. I honestly and truthfully think that, if not,
- 10:41The Wire and Breaking Bad are probably tied for number one with me is the
- 10:48best television series ever put on TV? Period. Yeah, The Wire is
- 10:52fucking amazing and Breaking Bad. Breaking Bad is the only show I've ever seen
- 10:56where every season you're watching is first than the one you're about to see.
- 11:03Excellent, dude, It is so good. It's sick, and it closed
- 11:05everything up at the end, which was fucking nice. Did you see the
- 11:09trailer for did the movie No Breaking Beds Coming Back? Are you sitting?
- 11:18Yeah? I was watching it. I start That's what I said, and
- 11:22I was like, what the fuck it? I thought it was a joke.
- 11:24One hundred percent thought it was a fucking joke. Oh my god.
- 11:26And then you see Walter White there, you know, at the end,
- 11:30and I don't want to spoil it for people, but he's talking monologue or
- 11:31whatever. His eyes are open, and then I guess it continues on and
- 11:35I'm just like, they didn't you watch them? I watched just the beginning
- 11:41of it, and then I lost Netflix because I didn't see it. I
- 11:43got Netflix now so I can go in and watch it all. Probably just
- 11:48start watching next. I've seen Breaking Bead, Like, dude, they need
- 11:52to leave breaking Breaking Bad is one of those things that it's Breaking Bad is
- 11:56damn there fucking perfect, Like it's hard for me to find a spot of
- 12:00can band to bitch about. It's so good, you're dude, it's amazingly
- 12:03well, you know what. Okay, to be fair, And it wasn't
- 12:05anything wrong with the writing at all. It wasn't. The writing was spot
- 12:09on and the acting is spot on. It's the characters themselves of the Wife
- 12:13and the Sun that just irritated the fuck out of me. But it wasn't.
- 12:16It's just the way they were, Yeah, exactly, it's those characters.
- 12:20But no joke. That's the only thing I hate in the entire series
- 12:22because whenever they're on screen, I'll joke, I'll just fast forward and I'm
- 12:24like, I don't give a fuck about you in it, absolutely fucking terrible.
- 12:31The fucking Walter is like the by time you get to the well,
- 12:35like not even the end. Walter is like the biggest absolute piece of shit
- 12:39on the planet. And no matter what you're like, fuck your Skyler,
- 12:41you're wrong. It's like he's right. Walter tried to kill a fucking infant.
- 12:48He tried to kill a fucking toddler. And we're like Walter and fucking
- 12:52Skyler's like, they can't be around this. I can't make you go fuck
- 12:58yourself. We're like, Lee, you bitch cheated with fucking with mister Mannicky
- 13:03anyways, you like, do you know how much better off Walter with you?
- 13:07Without you? He'd beat the kingpin and this whole fucking thing without worried
- 13:09about your ass. It's like you're holding Walter back. Do you realize what
- 13:13a drug what a drug kingpin he could be if he didn't have to deal
- 13:16with your fucking cry no joke? Could you imagine like if he like if
- 13:20he ain't got rid of her completely, like gone, didn't give a fuck
- 13:22about her anymore his mutual like whatever, they completely separate. The only thing
- 13:26that's tying him to any part of humanity is his son. So then anybody
- 13:30goes after his son, it's over anyway. It's like, fuck, man,
- 13:35it's crazy. Oh dude, I will say this. I think there's
- 13:43something to me because I go through all this shit again because now that I'm
- 13:46like, oh, I'm gonna start watching shows and animalizing him for real,
- 13:48for real, like and they the cast had just said this not too long
- 13:52ago. And it's crazy because everybody gives James Gandolphine. He's so much love
- 13:56for playing Tony Soprano, right, and that character so crazy and iconic that
- 14:01like even Brian Cranston, Brian Cranston was like, dude, there is no
- 14:05there There is no Walter White without Tony Soprano. He's like, and I'm
- 14:07not talking about it. He's like, yes, James Gandolfini, He's like,
- 14:11but I'm talking about Tony Soprano in particular. Yeah, He's like,
- 14:13you know, because Tony was not a good guy. Tony was like,
- 14:18if you made him an anti hero, that was a grace and Tony,
- 14:22dude, Tony wanted Tony tried to kill his fucking homeboy just because he fucking
- 14:26talked shit about him and laughed at him, cheating on Carmelo tons of times,
- 14:31fucking killed his best friend, like had covered up his best friend's brother
- 14:35getting killed. Killed. Fucking what two of his future brother in law was
- 14:39killed his best friend's fucking like Tony was a piece of shit. He completely
- 14:43was a piece of shit. But for the first time in history, like
- 14:46you, he wasn't just like, oh, I'm a misunderstood hero. No,
- 14:48you're an asshole. Yeah, and we modalizing that motherfucker. Oh yeah.
- 14:54So by time fucking Walter White came along, dude, I tell you
- 14:56right now, there's no there's almost most in the history of television. Dude.
- 15:01For it to be so recent, it's crazy. But Walters, I
- 15:05am the one who knocks, is one of the greatest. Fucking That shit
- 15:09gives me chills to this fucking day, especially if you knew Brian Cranston from
- 15:13fucking Malcolm in the Middle obviously, And that's exactly how I like, that's
- 15:18where it started with Brian Cranston. For me, it was I was like,
- 15:20holy shit, this motherfuck is funny as fuck. Blah blah blah blah
- 15:24blah. Fucking Breaking Bad comes out. I watched the first episode. I'm
- 15:28like, okay, it's this guy. Huh, I'll give us a different
- 15:30take, and then it just changes and I'm like, holy fuck, this
- 15:33dude's like a complete, one eighty complete dude. It's and everybody, like,
- 15:39you know, before I jumped into Breaking Bad, I was like,
- 15:41well, you know, I know it's about like math or whatever else.
- 15:43And I was like, what is it, Like, what is it about?
- 15:45Give me, like if you could run it next to some give me
- 15:46that, give me the whatever. And one of my homeboys is like,
- 15:52it's more or less depth of a salesman with drugs, and I was like
- 15:56what He was like, yeah, but it's really good because everybody refers to
- 16:00the signs of anarchy as Hamley on Harley, I mean Hamlet on Harley's.
- 16:04So I was like, dude, I was like, death of a Salesman
- 16:07some good shit like it either like it's a role that either makes or breaks
- 16:11people. And in most cases, when you find people that are really really
- 16:14good at comedy, they make amazing dramatic actors like me and the Sean We
- 16:19just did a we just did scene in fifteen, we just did Identity Thief,
- 16:25and we were talking about Melissa McCarthy and how fucking I think she's so
- 16:29amazing. Dude, She's awesome. She's hilarious, awesome, like her role
- 16:34and I I was telling the Sean, I'm like she was in Bridesmaids with
- 16:37fucking with some heavy hitting dude. She's in there with Kristen Wig. You
- 16:41know, Judd Aptow produced that bitch. Like there's people in that movie that
- 16:45are just standing around for no apparent reason to have these solid ass fucking credentials
- 16:49to their acting careers. She got nominated for a fucking Academy Award for fucking
- 16:55bridesmaid Yeah, over all those other fucking high end, fucking high profile VI,
- 17:00she's amazing and seeing her give dramatic performances is it's fucking beautiful. So
- 17:08like Brian Cranston with me is no different. I love him as how and
- 17:12fuck I love Malcolm in the Middle. You have to understand I loved that
- 17:15show of my favorite. It was so fucking funny when it first came out
- 17:19because it was that the late nineties or early two thousand, early two thousands,
- 17:22right, Yeah, and it was and you needed it. You needed
- 17:26a family sitcom every so many years, you need a family sit Yes,
- 17:29and either you need either you need a Cosby's or you need a Rosanne so
- 17:34you know, or every once in some shit. There you go. We
- 17:38did the family Matters at our place because I mean that's what it was,
- 17:41you know, it was our time. We were we were the Cosbies without
- 17:45the pills and rape. Yeah, oh yeah, yeah exactly, yeah,
- 17:47when we were never one of the three Cosby shows he had when it was
- 17:52the same cast. So Malcolm in the Middle came along. It's like,
- 17:56dude, you've got the hilarity, you've got the family thing, and it's
- 18:00completely celebrates like Malcolm. I think. I think Malcolm mill was slept on.
- 18:03It was an excellent show. You know. Yes it was crazy and
- 18:06had a bunch of insane shit in it, but like I think it dealt
- 18:10with the crazy, the crazy and complexities of what it's like, you know,
- 18:14trying to raise a family and stay together as a family and bridging that
- 18:18line Berdine between traditional you know, how to raise your kids and that kind
- 18:22of ship. Before we hit the two thousand just threw everything out the fucking
- 18:23window. Yeah, you know, to see Brian Cranston is like the crazy
- 18:29ass dad at the head of that family and then they're like, hey,
- 18:32dude, there's a show. Is in it he sells drugs? Like no
- 18:34fucking way, It's like he does. I want to know who the casting
- 18:38director? What do you pick that up? Though? Like? Who went
- 18:41from watching this and Malcolm in the middle of Blake this could work? Is
- 18:45it? Just because like he had that goofy type father persona, So it's
- 18:48like, all right, he's already got the father act down, He's got
- 18:52the professor of the school teacher things. It's almost like that homely thing,
- 18:55and now we can turn him. He's gonna go from that like that right
- 18:59you or father home teacher guy to this fucking complete whack job or not whack
- 19:04job, but you know, fucking cooking shit, like selling all this shit
- 19:08and taking people out. Dude. That transformation. I I know the point
- 19:15of that show was for him to have this excellent character arc and then you
- 19:19know, at the end of it, although he was still Satan, he
- 19:22finds his redemption and his you know, when he's his last phone call with
- 19:26the cops where he's like you know, it was all me, my family.
- 19:30That stupid bitch had you know she didn't, she wouldn't know how to
- 19:32do it. You know where he's he's taking all the blame and ready to
- 19:36walk out into the sunset like that. That character development, man, that
- 19:41his character arc is fucking amazing. Like to a character arc. That's I
- 19:47think the last time I ran into a character arc that I as much as
- 19:49I was like a man, fuck this dude, but I couldn't help but
- 19:52roll with it. It was probably Jamie Lanister from fucking from Jame of Thrones.
- 19:56Yeah, yeah, because Jamie went from the you that like, you're
- 20:00like, God, I want something really really terrible to happen. You pushed
- 20:03a kid out of a fucking window and you were banging yourself. Yeah,
- 20:07it's so fucked I was so much wrong with him, dude. And then
- 20:12by the end of it, you're like, god, I hope Jamie makes
- 20:15right. Can you completely forget everything that he's ever done bad? You're like,
- 20:22I mean, it's like, well, we don't really like brand either.
- 20:23Fuck that. Yeah, it's fucking true too, because like at the
- 20:29beginning of it, man, I hated Jamie and it's like wait the end
- 20:32of it, yeah, I kind of wanted him to survive everything, like
- 20:33you know what. Yeah, by the end of it, you're kind of
- 20:37like, by the end of this, you were kind of like that sucks.
- 20:41Yep, okay, like so ja, So the guy that I grew
- 20:44to love is dead and the kid that I was like, oh my god
- 20:48kind of want you to die now, right. It was like the Hound
- 20:49too. I think the Hound was one of the guys I wanted I didn't
- 20:52care about at all, and then like part way through and I'm like,
- 20:55Okay, I want this guy to win now because his brother was the mountain,
- 20:59right yeah, yeah, yeah dude, even that show Man that show
- 21:04like, I'm putting myself through all these paces for for good television because of
- 21:10you know, the the SOA Project. Then I'm bull the Cutter Project I'm
- 21:12about to put put on online. Dad, I'm doing all the Have you
- 21:22ever figured out by watching me what not to do in the podcast? I
- 21:26mean, never you ever look at me here, like Jesus christ Man,
- 21:30As long as I don't do that, I should be Okay. There's only
- 21:33one thing, and I think it's saying the N word. I think other
- 21:34than as long as I don't do that, I'll should be fine. Dude.
- 21:37I don't know. I don't know. If Trump got innighted the other
- 21:41day and half the country is still like fuck you, we love you,
- 21:45I'm like, yeah, that's the N word, crowd, you'd be okay,
- 21:47oh yeah if you if you start dropping the N word and be like
- 21:51yeah, where you know this beat? This is fucking why tw It's like,
- 21:56we love everybody except for black people. Put that ship on Republican channel.
- 22:00You're like, like, jabbo, bro, I'm so sorry. I
- 22:03was really not to like lean into this. You're like, but dude,
- 22:07I made like four or fifty from fucking ads last week. He loo.
- 22:10I'm like, nigga ship, there a couple more in there for me and
- 22:12cut me teen percent, right. I'm like, I started saying the N
- 22:15word of every fifteen minutes. Man, I don't know. The money just
- 22:18keeps showing off. Fuck it. I don't know what it is about.
- 22:21The god damn the odd pox fellow. Whenever I get to the meat,
- 22:25they say nigger, I'm there. I'm right there for it. He's got
- 22:30an infect your fly off and he drops an end bomb like no other I
- 22:33get to see the next meeting. So yeah, Smoke, you normally run
- 22:37these, but yeah you're out. Okay, fair enough. It's like,
- 22:41so you know, like I know who appreciate me and my n words saying
- 22:47mouth brother rubbins cjs, Like, well, I got a conversation to have
- 22:53with you. Look what you're like? Smokes at the door of Jesus if
- 22:57he's a pariet Now it's like, I don't know. I get us a
- 23:00call from Auggie. He's like, well, if you want him, you
- 23:04kind of had a sit down. He just can't stop saying it. No,
- 23:11you got bro like an Aaron won't even talk to him. Cut off,
- 23:18Like nobody talks to me anymore. Don't recording the closet anymore. Smoke
- 23:25now lives there. The show's taken off. Be able to get a house
- 23:30about two three weeks like his in bomb things like you let into his buddy.
- 23:34Publicity is not man. He pays his run. What the do I
- 23:38care he do anything? I don't give a shit. He's like if this
- 23:42motherfucker expressing himselves puts a couple of extra fucking cups of cheese in the fridge
- 23:47about a bit, oh fuck, the best I can do for you is
- 23:55he doesn't take Juneteenth off, he's required to work. Other than that,
- 23:57he's okay if he gets tan. We keep telling them to get Maybe we'll
- 24:00change our policy, but until then, the fluorescent Fuck, wow, they're
- 24:12glad. We're looking going on with you like we you You're you're always moving.
- 24:19You're the most active moving out there, loved motherfucker in the planet.
- 24:23What's going on with you these days? Not not too much. I mean,
- 24:26I'm got a ton of doctors appointments lately. It's been kind of shitty.
- 24:30I'm doing great, like I'm doing like fine, I feel fine.
- 24:33It's just like the VA wants to test me for everything right now. So
- 24:37it's like, all right, whatever, stick a probe in there. That's
- 24:40cool. They're just going nuts. But I got a couple more claims going
- 24:44through because the burn pits stuff. So yeah, any veterans out there,
- 24:48like I know, the pack deck thing, it's still available to anybody who
- 24:52is uh exposed to any like ancient orange anything during training burn pits overseas while
- 24:57like in Iraq, we had burn pitts every fucking tour I was there.
- 25:00I know that for a fact. Dude, I'll lean into that one to
- 25:06you when you're when you're when you're done. Man, I didn't mean to
- 25:08step up, no no on me to say something. No no, of
- 25:11course, one of the biggest things in the world. That And I don't
- 25:15know if you felt this way, but I used to feel this way.
- 25:17You know, even when I deployed. During during the times of my deployment,
- 25:22like my deployment and anybody's listening to this, there weren't like bombs going
- 25:26off every five seconds. It's like you weren't constantly. Yeah, it wasn't
- 25:30like a Vietnam movie. Right. There are some people that they've gone through
- 25:36that experience, but my experience was not the such. There was probably about
- 25:38a three month cluster broken up where like getting shot at every day, getting
- 25:44blown up and having to do army shit really did exist. But that being
- 25:48said, even if you didn't deploy, man, if you join the United
- 25:51States Military and you have any sort of reservation about putting in for your disabilities
- 25:56and ship, dude, let that fucking stick and go right. One of
- 26:00the biggest things that I hear veterans say is, oh, well I didn't
- 26:03deploy or you know, they'll they'll have survivor's guilt, or it'll be some
- 26:08Oh I didn't do anything. You know, it's money that could go to
- 26:11somebody. All this kind of shit. The way I feel is this,
- 26:14you throw your name on a piece of paper that immediately stuck you in a
- 26:18meat grinder for whatever, whether it was noble not noble, good, bad,
- 26:23stupid, diplomatic, whatever, fucking dick measuring contest. The United States
- 26:29felt they need to have whatever mission they felt they need to go on.
- 26:33You were a body, you were expendable. You let them throw you to
- 26:37any situation known to man and put you through mental and physical situations that most
- 26:42normal human beings never go through. Most people are not trained to go to
- 26:48war. Most people are not mentally stripped and then rebuilt. Most people are
- 26:52not stuck in an organization, military or paramilitary. That's why in so many
- 26:56cases when we get out into the real world, people like our skill because
- 27:00we have discipline and all of that. But the normal human mind and body
- 27:03are not made to go through these things. So if you're a veteran and
- 27:07you've gone through it, I don't give a shit if your tour was two
- 27:10years or if it was twenty two years. Do the paperwork, fill your
- 27:15ship out, Go do your VA thing. You deserve it, you are
- 27:18worth it. Let the country that you swore your life to take care of
- 27:22take care of you, and don't feel bad about it. Dude, it's
- 27:26a big thing for me. No exactly back that I don't care the same
- 27:32thing. Deployed or not, fucking combat or not. You deserve to go
- 27:36get your fucking dues from the fucking VA. I know the pack deck thing.
- 27:40The deadline originally was the ninth of August. It got extended to the
- 27:45fourteenth. Just because that deadline happened doesn't mean you can't still file for the
- 27:49pack deck either. You can still file. That's just get the retroactive pay
- 27:53for the previous year. Yeah, you probably won't get the extra money,
- 27:56but file anyway. If you were exposed to any of that stuff, or
- 28:00have anything any concern at all about your health, especially after the military,
- 28:04talk to the VA. If you're not registered at the VA, it's free,
- 28:07do it. Talk to a doctor there. List out every concern you
- 28:11got, bad knees, bad back, you can't sleep it now, you
- 28:14have nightmares, anything, tell them you can probably get acclaimed. Fucking ashamed
- 28:18no, don't. It took forever for me to go, and I feel
- 28:21like an idiot now more than anything for not going sooner. Like the help
- 28:23that the VA and even like the off site doctors like that I've contacted through
- 28:29the VA have helped, whether it be mental or physical. They've all been
- 28:33nice. And it doesn't cost you anything, so fucking do it. Yeah,
- 28:38and it's good. It's so good. And I will say the VA
- 28:41hasn't always been perfect, you know. Yeah, there's been a lot of
- 28:47changes over the years. You know, my sister, she works with the
- 28:49VA hospital in Dallas. There's you know a lot of veterans around. I
- 28:55got a lot of friends that work for the VA in Nashville. You know,
- 28:57some that work for the local office here in Clarksville. And you know,
- 29:02they just had for the pack Act thing, they just had this huge
- 29:03veterans call thing open, like I think they were like at a convention center
- 29:08and they had by the grace of God, it was really good or you
- 29:11know, the toaster whoever you believe in. They had like hundreds of veterans
- 29:15show up. They had like I think it's like six hundred semon veterans show
- 29:18up, and of those six hundred, I think they went ahead and had
- 29:23like two hundred and fifty to three hundred of them registered for the pack Act
- 29:26and some crazy number like four hundred and some change that it never registered for
- 29:30VA benefits period. And I'm just like, man, that that's insane,
- 29:36and are I think that you have to take care it's like And even if
- 29:40you don't understand, be what it's like being a soldier, being a veteran
- 29:44that bond, you know, going to do shit for your country, even
- 29:45if you don't understand that, I'll look at it this so it's like common
- 29:48sense. You got a favorite hammer, You got a hammer that you use.
- 29:51Yep, that hammer needs your It needs attention. You bought it brand
- 29:53new, you use it all the time. Like after you use it,
- 29:56you don't just throw it on the floor. You don't leave it outside like
- 29:59you don't fucking you know, you don't throw it on the ground, like
- 30:00you put it back in the toolbox. You clean it up, you make
- 30:03sure that you can still use it. It's been there and it's been dependable
- 30:06every time you've needed it. And the thing is, like I've said,
- 30:08these are the same things with with our soldiers. Man like I've I've had
- 30:11friends on all sides of the spectrum. I've had guys that have gone to
- 30:14war. You know, guys and girls have gone to war and come back
- 30:17and they've been perfectly okay. You know, I've had guys and girls that
- 30:19have been in the army and and have gone to war and have killed themselves.
- 30:23You know, I've buried, you know, not I haven't been all
- 30:26their funerals, you know, off the top of my head. You know,
- 30:29there's one one cat like me, and this dude he wasn't even even
- 30:32in the same MS as me, but you know, three four deployments,
- 30:36found out he was about to have to pick up another one after you know,
- 30:37getting married, settled down and having kids, and you know, put
- 30:40a pistol in his mouth. You know. Then another friend of mine,
- 30:42you know, she got caught up and drugs and everything else and end up
- 30:45taking her life. And these are all soldiers, and it's a it's it's
- 30:48no, it's no different than than you know, civilians in that case,
- 30:52but there's something about that that camaraderie, and especially you care so much more
- 31:00about the status and the state of the country when you've made it your your
- 31:07personal job, whether and it doesn't matter why you signed up, whether it's
- 31:11a payoff student loans or to get out the house, or you know,
- 31:14the judge told you it was either that or president. You know, I
- 31:19will say this, I had a completely different scope of the military before I
- 31:23joined it, and I have a completely different scope of the military now that
- 31:26I'm no longer in it. Like, but when before I joined the arm
- 31:29I looked at soldiers being the most like they were my superheroes. They weren't
- 31:32normal people. You know. I had my dad and my dad's friends and
- 31:34like my uncles and stuff like that, so they were these amazing people.
- 31:37Then I joined the Army and I'm like, oh, you motherfucker's are ship
- 31:40bags just seconds all the same or on. But then when you get out
- 31:45and you you've lived that life for so long, and you know the sacrifice
- 31:49that had entailed and the things that you had to do in the places that
- 31:52you had to be, and how you're trying to return back to normal life
- 31:55even stuff for that man, and I love I love the fact that,
- 31:59you know, mental health and mental awareness is becoming a bigger thing now.
- 32:01It's not so much of a stigma, especially for the African African American community
- 32:07because you know, stereotypically throughout history, like we have not been fans of
- 32:10doctors because like there was no there was no here, let's take care of
- 32:14black people. Medical plan that started. We got off the boat. They're
- 32:16like, hey, Nick, will make sure you're all right, Like,
- 32:19no, there wasn't. Yeah you got you got the worst medical plan out
- 32:22of anybody. Yeah, you know, like there was poking and pride,
- 32:25and you know, is this black man or black woman either good enough to
- 32:29bear children for slaves or are they good enough to work a field? You
- 32:31know that that was the extent of our medical conditions. And even as time
- 32:34went on, it's you know, Tuskegee experiments of injecting us with all these
- 32:38different things and syphilis on this other kind of shit. So black people physical
- 32:43you know, being in front of doctors wasn't something that was was hardcore part
- 32:46of our culture because it was always attached to something negative. And you know,
- 32:50especially with mental health. And I don't know how it works and every
- 32:52other families, but most black people can tell you, especially if they're around
- 32:57my age, maybe not a little bit older like you always had if you
- 33:00had that one family member the wedding exactly right, Like you didn't You didn't
- 33:02put them in a home. They didn't go to a hump. They was
- 33:06a room that they stayed in that was theirs that the oldest matriarch or patriarch
- 33:08of the family took care of them in and out. But they were separated
- 33:12from the rest of the family. They had their own spot. But to
- 33:15see now that mental health is being embraced, especially for the soldiers and veterans
- 33:20you know at actually period, it's a huge thing now it's kind of like
- 33:22this, it's like the new chic It is bigger, Like they have all
- 33:27the apps now for two you're seeing Neter advertisings on TV and stuff for like
- 33:30the calm app or the veterans. The VA offered app to watch. It
- 33:36is free. It's just called PTSD coach. It's crazy. It's like it's
- 33:40so good, it's cool. It's it's nice that it's more everybody's more aware
- 33:45of like all the mental issues and the stressors and it's okay to take like
- 33:47a day off to just like chill. You know, b dude, I
- 33:52completely love the fact that we're having this conversation. I do I really do.
- 33:58Yeah, I've that's wanted to give with you and have conversations about shit
- 34:01because I have parallels with a lot of people that I do work with,
- 34:04you know, but there's a lot of guys like me and like Vans in
- 34:06the Army. I go as in the Air Force, you and him got
- 34:08that shit encountered, and uh, you know, it's just I realize that
- 34:15it's a small world, and I get to talk. I get the privilege
- 34:17of being able to talk to and be friends with a lot of guys you
- 34:21know that I served with, when did shit with and everything else. And
- 34:22you know the fact that dropping the you know, oh well, tough guys
- 34:28don't go talk to anybody stigma. I think it's a beautiful thing, man.
- 34:30I think it's fantastically great that we are leaning more into realizing that being
- 34:38the getting help is very masculine. You know. There's and I love the
- 34:43fact that it's almost become the new chic. Like if there's anything in the
- 34:45if there's maybe one thing in the world that I can't complain that hasn't been
- 34:50fully hijacked just yet, is you know, at least the awareness of people
- 34:54being wanted wanting to do things with their mental healthy. Now the forty billion
- 34:59dig knows this is that you'll give people to get people excuses out of anything
- 35:05because somebody like Pete and on a flower in front of like eighty years ago
- 35:07and it's still I don't think it's not. But I love that, man,
- 35:13I love I really really love that. So I'm a huge advocate for
- 35:17veteran shit. That's why. That's another reason why I love to see you
- 35:20doing it big man with the FYC W and iPods because I know that you
- 35:23were that you fucking spilled the same blood in the same mud man, So
- 35:28all I get to look at it from all of your victories and this is
- 35:32completely it makes it makes me feel good, man, It completely makes me
- 35:36feel good. So when I see that, like, you know, you're
- 35:37jumping out riding your bike, or you're going to a VA appointment, or
- 35:40you know you and Aggie are going to DC, or you're sitting down doing
- 35:44a show with the Gate excellent fucking Gate Leapers episode that was crazy, wasn't
- 35:50it, Dude? I almost almost fucking DMed Aggie and was like shabbata oil.
- 35:57I love Algy during those games man, because he's like he always gets
- 36:01like these great one liners and there, and they're fucking beautiful. I'm loving
- 36:05it. And the gays are great, We're good. We're doing a future
- 36:07project with them. I don't really want to say what it is yet,
- 36:10but you're it's coming out in the next couple of months, Like we're gonna
- 36:15be getting together to do it, and it's gonna be fucking insane, like
- 36:19proportions back like when Jorge was on the podcast. It's gonna be awesome.
- 36:22That's fucking I love that. I love seeing you do work whenever it's so
- 36:30weird, man, well this is more fun than work, man, Like
- 36:32it's back in the day, like even like a job. I know.
- 36:36It's like when I had money, it was so much easier because I'm like,
- 36:38well, I'll just take the show here, let's just go here,
- 36:40let's go do this. Like if I could just do this all the time,
- 36:44this would be amazing, Like let's do this, Like that's what I
- 36:47like doing, like collaborations with you guys, because it just like energizes me
- 36:51more to do even more of this shit. Like I I love when you
- 36:54work. I love it when you were I almost love you're You're honestly and
- 36:59truthfully one of the people that I almost listened to everything that it doesn't It
- 37:04isn't immediately because there's a lot of shit. You so much stuff, but
- 37:07I try to listen to everything. You got like twelve shows. Motherfucker,
- 37:10you're like the new Kevin Smith of podcast. It doesn't even feel like it.
- 37:15Man, You've got so many shows. I'm having trouble, like because
- 37:16I don't commute it anymore. I don't have all that podcast time. Man,
- 37:21it's hard to keep up with your stuff. Dude. It doesn't even
- 37:23it doesn't even feel bad. And You're like I used to have this huge
- 37:29thing where I'm like, I don't want to I don't want to spread myself
- 37:31too thin. I don't want to run out of content. It's like I
- 37:35don't want to lose my voice on that side of the ship. But then
- 37:37I was like, you know what, you made this your job. It's
- 37:39like it's like I you know, and this is something that I really haven't
- 37:44told the masses, but I've been kind of like pondering it, like like
- 37:46recently because of everything that happened with me being medically retired, like I've had
- 37:52two looks to go back to air Traffic Control. So it was, you
- 37:58know, and I sat down and talked in the sean. I was on
- 38:00the fence, and I'm like, you know, I know that going back
- 38:02to ATC and like doing anything ATC related. It's like, I know what
- 38:07that money looks like. Yeah, I got it for I got it for
- 38:08fourteen years. It's like, dude, I remember what it's like, like
- 38:13going out and like getting lunch and then like blowing two car payments and like
- 38:17coming home and then like ordering dinner just because I was too lazy to go.
- 38:21I know it. I missed those days ship like they were awesome.
- 38:25It's like, what do you do? I was like, I shall,
- 38:28I shall get into my car and drive to van Creved the day because I
- 38:30feel the need to. I did it like three times, you know.
- 38:35But then when I when I sat down and I talked to her, and
- 38:37then this is this is one reason why you know, Nashan is completely unparalleled.
- 38:42It's like I told her, I was like, honey, if you
- 38:43want me to do this, I will completely do it. And then I
- 38:45can try to you know, I can patch proper Rempson and my spare time
- 38:50and figure out how to make it work. And she was like, well,
- 38:52used to say that the thing that killed you the most was like after
- 38:55you lost the passion for control and traffic, was walking in that building every
- 38:59single day as long as you just felt like you're sitting there wasting time,
- 39:01that you're always built for something bigger. And I was like, yeah,
- 39:04that's true. But you know, even back then, it was like,
- 39:09hey, let's go to fucking disney Land. It's here. It's like to
- 39:12spend fifty thousand dollars in a weekend. I'm like, the days don't exist,
- 39:15Like those days still exist, but it's like we have to plan for
- 39:19those, right, And I'm like, you know, if you you know,
- 39:22if you think we need to change anything, you know we can.
- 39:25And she's just like, I know, She's like, we're good man.
- 39:29She's like, we don't have to want for ship. We're pretty solid.
- 39:30You know, we both made some pretty good decisions back in the day that
- 39:34we're good. And she's just like, you know, be happy, dude.
- 39:37She's like, if you're gonna kill yourself, if you're gonna give yourself
- 39:39a heart attack doing something, how much you know which would you rather have
- 39:43a heart attack doing shoveling? Snow or having sex. So you know,
- 39:46it was one of those go ahead and do it. Fuck yeah, So
- 39:53it wasn't you know, it wasn't really a terrible thing. And you know
- 39:58we when it got thrown against the wall, it's like, well, this
- 40:00is where you know we need to be doing shit, So let's just keep
- 40:02running it and not going back to a normal grind. Like I said,
- 40:07I try not to wear myself then. But my thing was, I'm like,
- 40:12if this is what I've decided to do and I love doing this so
- 40:15much, then stop bullshitting and everything in the world that you can do to
- 40:21do this either to the best of your ability or to have everyone watch you
- 40:24grow. It's like, stop sucking around with that look and record this on
- 40:28my phone and bullshit. It's like, no, you're put in the work,
- 40:30man, you know, put in the weight, and so you know
- 40:32you seeing your ship man, Like I can't listen to anything that you guys
- 40:39do without being like, Okay, you know I need to step my ship
- 40:43up, I need to put my shit together, blah blah blah, this
- 40:45kind of stuff. But like I said, man, I just love watching
- 40:47you work, and then watching you work it makes me want to work even
- 40:52harder because I'm like, here we go. Man, I got a brother
- 40:54in pot, I got a veteran. You know, you've been very transparent
- 40:58about you know, some of your struggle. You know, whether it was
- 41:00your your bouts with alcohol, you know, your PTSD, you know,
- 41:05and your whole your whole village. Like when you guys are like, oh
- 41:07shit, my bad. When you guys are like, man, I'm not
- 41:09feeling today, you guys have no problem with being like, look, you
- 41:12know, mentally, I'm not where I need to be. I need to
- 41:14check the fuck out for a few Like and for the people you guys have
- 41:17fans. You have fans, and you have friends, and all the people
- 41:21that you know support and fuck with you guys are like, you know,
- 41:22this is that transparency. It's so good for people because people get to see
- 41:27that, you know, I'm it's kind of like noah, so everybody gets
- 41:31seen you guys do that, seeing you guys do that, and seeing your
- 41:36village do that. Man, I love it. Every every I'm not,
- 41:39honestly and genuinely, every single time, dude, I see you pick up
- 41:43a win, I'm like, we did it, Yeah, dude. To
- 41:46feel like it's mutual, like no joke, especially like the fucking motivation man,
- 41:52Like I get motivated watching new work and it's ways man, hell yeah,
- 41:57I have to have it like it's dude, the grind sucks so bad.
- 42:04What I do is cool, but all the other ship that goes away
- 42:07it is such a headache. I hate having a fucking Okay, dude,

- 42:24all there's like five tweets and different shows. Yeah, I'm like sucking my
- 42:28life, dude. I'm like, man, if I had hit the sea,
- 42:30if I hit this motherfucker up singer, And then like I love the
- 42:35part where you know, but it keeps me humble. So I love the
- 42:37creating. I love it. And you were the one that made me want
- 42:42to do everything myself though, so I blame some of the ship. It's
- 42:45all my fault because I was like, you know, I've said ignorant ship
- 42:51before, Like you know, I see why people have assistance, and I
- 42:52see why people have helped doing stuff. And then I look at you and
- 42:55I'm like, this motherfucker recording my fucker's edited in, Like this motherfucker's right
- 43:00in the face of his own show it. And I'm like, you know
- 43:04what, if I don't put myself through the ringer to do it, then
- 43:07I'll never I'll never respect the roles of the guys that do with You Gotta
- 43:09do it at least once, so you know, at least when you're hunger
- 43:13somebody else to do. It's like, all right, and I know what
- 43:15you've been through. Motherfucker. Yeah, but dude, address start. That's
- 43:20hand to God. Literally, that is the only reason why I still do

- 1:02:04of you guys, because of b FT, because of b fy TW,
- 1:02:07Like you know, I've got to hear some pretty great shows, some really
- 1:02:14good some really good content. It's it's caused me to do a lot more
- 1:02:22work because I know when people here, I know when people hear it.
- 1:02:23He's got a Proper Rumpus standpoint of the probably here we go. It's shot
- 1:02:27from the show three. But like a lot of you know, these days,
- 1:02:31like a lot more goes into doing the shows and putting them together,
- 1:02:37and I go, God, if there's one thing I can thank God for
- 1:02:40between I Go and CJ is those motherfuckers bring me to task because they make
- 1:02:45me do the one that's good, Like, get on this dream so you
- 1:02:47can start playing some Rockey League with us and stuff. Either that or you
- 1:02:52know, CJ's editing game has made me step my shit up. Knows what
- 1:02:57he's doing. Like, I like, my editing game is not exactly where
- 1:03:00it needs to be. But like, just to give you a blove how
- 1:03:05of how it's grown. Like if you listen to the very first episode of
- 1:03:08Jabbo and the Team, You're like, oh my god. And then if
- 1:03:10you listen to the last episode of Ruckus Juice that was actually three sessions.
- 1:03:16I go, and I had sat down for over three different nights that I
- 1:03:20had to string together like what a twenty five minutes segment, fifteen minutes segment,
- 1:03:25and then I think a forty minutes segment and I had to chop it
- 1:03:29and piece it together. And I told I Go, He's like, yeah,
- 1:03:31dude, you know, we have an episode. And I'm like,
- 1:03:34dude, you know there's a lot of because he's actually at work when we
- 1:03:36when we do that episode, I stopped. Yeah, so like a lot
- 1:03:40of the times when he's in the break room, he's in air drive controller
- 1:03:44so you can hear calls being made while he's on his break that's and you
- 1:03:47know, I learned how to do a lot of that stuff through CJ,
- 1:03:52you know, and I know that CJ and Rico don't have their show anymore.
- 1:03:59Everything else I learned a lot from Rico as well, you know,
- 1:04:03doing your research, having a conversation, you know, how to speak,
- 1:04:05having your voice, you know, want to do voice over work. And
- 1:04:09then I go like when I tell you that Cat is filled with a passion
- 1:04:12to do to do this, like man, like I could show you text
- 1:04:16messages from that dude right now. He's like, I've got the new opening
- 1:04:18written for Rucas. Use if you want to run that day, we can
- 1:04:21run that today. Yeah, you want to go ahead and do the new
- 1:04:24show, we can. We can go and run the new show. And
- 1:04:26he's like if you thought about both up and I'm like, yeah, well,
- 1:04:28you know, I've got a name for the new shows, Like,
- 1:04:30but let's go and run the Rucas Juice first. And he's like, well,
- 1:04:31I've already, you know, scooped out about two hours so we can
- 1:04:34do the rucas use and if you need me for at least an hour for
- 1:04:36the other show, if you're want to cut the whole thing together. And
- 1:04:40he like he's dead on man, we're talking about the text messages I get
- 1:04:44from him at like six in the morning. See, that's not cool to
- 1:04:46have that support too from the other end. It's not just like you heart,
- 1:04:49like okay, come on tign record again and then Nashan won't let me
- 1:04:54quit, dude, Like Nashan is great because like I don't know if everybody
- 1:04:59has this, this this this vision of me and her that like we always
- 1:05:01get along and more perfectly in harmony, like she farts, I fart and
- 1:05:05when she ships, I wipe, Like doesn't. I'll tell you right now,
- 1:05:10Nishan and I have a thousand percent what a normal normal couples life looks
- 1:05:15like. Except we do work together. Even though you know she's not she's
- 1:05:18very involved in proper rumpus, not as much as she used to be,
- 1:05:21because she has actually opened her own side of design and printing and doing stuff,
- 1:05:27and she's looked a little bit more into that. But like a lot
- 1:05:31of like she refuel, like she won't let me fail, Like she really
- 1:05:34won't let me fail, and she doesn't stay up my ass, like why
- 1:05:38aren't you recording? Why aren't you recording? Why aren't you recording? She's
- 1:05:40just like, oh, so you record it. I'm like yeah. She's
- 1:05:43like, so you good and edit now, don't need to leave you alone
- 1:05:45for it. I'm like, oh no, I'm good. I canna s
- 1:05:45add it later. It's just like okay until you you know, want to
- 1:05:48fall asleep or yeah, you know, or she'll just or she'll build and
- 1:05:56she knows that I hate wasted time, right, you know, if I'm
- 1:05:59not if I'm not doing anything, it's because I'm supposed to not be doing
- 1:06:02anything. Yeah, so she'll she takes on, you know, and I
- 1:06:06probably don't give her enough love for this, you know, she takes on,
- 1:06:11like she'll we have a very active life. So one kid will go
- 1:06:14to wrestling, the other kid will go to softball, and then she'll have
- 1:06:15Olivia, and then she'll go to softball practice and like fucking ninety two degree
- 1:06:19weather, sitting on the bleachers with a fucking twenty month old, you know,
- 1:06:25and talking to other parents in the heat and she'll leave me here and
- 1:06:28she's just like, Okay, well, you know, I figured you want
- 1:06:30to go sit in the heat, and you know you probably got pr shit
- 1:06:31to do. And I'm like, you're gonna go suffer all that shit on
- 1:06:34your own and she's like, well, you know you say that. You
- 1:06:36know you have to be up in the middle of night to do stuff.
- 1:06:40You know, here you go two hours prime time. She's like, rest,
- 1:06:43chill, whatever you need to do. And immediately she's like, why
- 1:06:45don't she just relax? And she knows that it's going to get under my
- 1:06:47skin for me to sit there and not do shit like so then she'll just
- 1:06:51roll out and she's like, oh, or you know, maybe could use
- 1:06:54the time to record and it'll bug me, Like even if I sit on
- 1:06:57my ass, it'll bug me if I sit there for ten minutes to bug
- 1:07:00the shit out of it. I'm like, dude, no, no,
- 1:07:02no. If you just sit there for two hours, you realize you can't
- 1:07:06say a fucking word or about It's like, well, it'd be easier to
- 1:07:10edit the show. And I'm not fucking I'll go ahead and do it.
- 1:07:13She'll come home, you know, I'll have you know, three or four
- 1:07:16things edited or you know, some more things sketched up for the Patreon,
- 1:07:19So having you know, and that's why I love the fact that you have
- 1:07:24an entire village there people that are working on stuff, because it's it's so
- 1:07:30much easier a mountain to climb when you have the support with you it completely
- 1:07:35is it really? So you know, and and the inspiration I get from
- 1:07:41you guys, I could never talk about it enough because it's really rare.
- 1:07:44It's because in the world of ATC, like, yeah, you had and
- 1:07:46this is my life for twenty two years, like you had other controllers that
- 1:07:49were dope and you talk to each other about shit. But to be like,
- 1:07:54to be real, like air traffic controllers are a bunch of fucking assholes,
- 1:07:58a type, personalities was odd complexes, you know, like we think
- 1:08:01we're cooler than everybody else in the room, and if you tell us that
- 1:08:04we're not, we still think that we are, like very rarely we humble.
- 1:08:08So that's why this, you know, that's why this is running my
- 1:08:10own show and telling you guys how much I fail is a good thing for
- 1:08:13me. It's an exercise of rayal shit but you know, it's it's one
- 1:08:17of those things where you know, it's not the career path that I had
- 1:08:21before. This wasn't very you know, you could run into people that you
- 1:08:26liked that you know they'd help you out with your controlling shit, or you
- 1:08:29guys would you know, one up each other because you want to be the
- 1:08:31best in the universe. But for this to be a new career path that
- 1:08:34I've chosen, I've been on it for Jesus almost four years now. Yeah,
- 1:08:39it's crazy. I'm like, I just thought about that. I'm like,
- 1:08:41fuck, dude. But it's cool to be in this line of work
- 1:08:45now. And you just find certain pockets of people that are doing the same
- 1:08:48shit that you want to do. You know, either they're a little bit
- 1:08:51further in their journey than you are, are a little bit further back,
- 1:08:56and they're never like you in your corner. I've always been by you guys,
- 1:09:00and you guys have always been humble to me. You know, you've
- 1:09:03never been you know, like you motherfuckers are doing shit, you know what
- 1:09:08I'm saying. Like y'all the Garmy thing, y'all got the ties to Kevin
- 1:09:12Smith, the odd Pods thing, is crazy. You know, you guys
- 1:09:15have your like you guys mark it constantly. Your commercials are clean. You
- 1:09:18guys do so much good work, and you know, hearing that it's like,
- 1:09:24you know what, I can do a better job. I know I
- 1:09:26can aspire to and you guys are never you guys have never been like,
- 1:09:30oh, well, we're too big wig to help or we're too big wig
- 1:09:32that you know. Hey, you know you you know you're saying something earlier
- 1:09:35about you know, editing and trying to find out how to get all your
- 1:09:39arms and os and dead space out with that having to go line by line.
- 1:09:41Hey, if you want, dude, you know we can, you
- 1:09:43know, light up a bowl, jump on Discord on Saturday and we'll run
- 1:09:45through the You know a lot of people don't do that, you know.
- 1:09:48So I love the fact that you know, it's not an ATC type of
- 1:09:55room, that it's a very very giving and loving kind of room. And
- 1:09:59the new shows that we've been introduced to, and just getting getting to hear
- 1:10:02people that really love what we do, uh in the world of podcast and
- 1:10:06and just getting here good work man, that's all I'm if that was my
- 1:10:11goal. Whish it pretty much was like, we're we're fucking succeeding all day
- 1:10:15long. You get the d I get to hear so much good content from
- 1:10:19you guys, and I get I've had the pleasure of recording with some of
- 1:10:24the coolest motherfuckers I've never met, so right, I hear that, sir,
- 1:10:29I fucking hear that very I ramble so much. That's that's why I
- 1:10:33have shows, is I can sit here and talk for ten fucking minutes and
- 1:10:36you're like, dude, I'm just gonna let them go. Here's here's my
- 1:10:39brod love listening to a podcast. I just like, go ahead, but
- 1:10:44no, jebll, I want to thank you again for coming out and just
- 1:10:45fucking hanging with me, man, I love doing this shit. We're gonna
- 1:10:48talk after this obviously, We're gonna schedule some ships. We can hang out
- 1:10:51more, absolutely, because we need to do more. We need. I
- 1:10:55want to do a show with you. I was gonna. I talked to
- 1:10:57CJ a little bit. I'm gonna fucking I'll fucking spoil it. It was
- 1:11:00to say I don't give fuck your my audience. I wasn't going to talk
- 1:11:02to you after this show about actually doing a podcast together. You and me.
- 1:11:05So if you have something I have, I start working again Monday.
- 1:11:11But I'm a school cook, so I'm home by the afternoon anyway, So
- 1:11:15I don't matter anymore people. But I'll be available to do another show at
- 1:11:19some point if you'd be down to do a show with me, because I
- 1:11:21are me jumping onto any other proper unhos, just to guest a little bit
- 1:11:26more, dude, Yes, fuck yes, school shit that there's there's no
- 1:11:30way I like and here's I need it. I'm gonna go ahead and tell
- 1:11:33everybody now, and I'll go ahead and tell you this on your show.
- 1:11:36I'm going to stop. I'm gonna stop with this. Oh no, I'm
- 1:11:40not gonna do another No. No, you know what, dude, I
- 1:11:42love the medium. I love to talk. The more I do and the
- 1:11:48more conversations that we get to have with people, Yeah, I think that
- 1:11:51whether it's just to be funny or just to inform, or you know,
- 1:11:55just to have fun and kick it, I think that one of the one
- 1:11:57of the lost arts in the universe is conversation. We went from being the
- 1:12:00family that didn't have phones that it was updated every five seconds on each other's
- 1:12:04lives. You know we didn't have that. We came home and we talked
- 1:12:09to each other, like sons talked to moms, and moms talked to daughters,
- 1:12:12and daughters talked to dads, and like we sat down at the table
- 1:12:14as a family, and whatever version of a family we had, we sat
- 1:12:16in a room together and like now, like you can't go to any go
- 1:12:19to any restaurant, look at anyone's house unless there's a special rule. Most
- 1:12:24cases, people that are sitting together in a group have their phones out,
- 1:12:27correct, And I think that we're Yes, it's a blessing, it's a
- 1:12:31gift and a curse though, so I think you know the nuances that like
- 1:12:36if somebody handwrites me a letter these days, I will come like I'm jizzing
- 1:12:42great. First of all, it's so crazy that it's a lost art to
- 1:12:47handwrite a letter, Like like people get cards these days and don't even know
- 1:12:51what the fuck is saying them because we've lost that part of it feels like
- 1:12:56we almost lost that part of our brain. Yeah, medium at all anymore.
- 1:13:00Yeah, and now, man, people don't want to talk to each
- 1:13:03other. They want to talk at each other. Yeah, and that's that's
- 1:13:06really disturbing because communication and communication, conversation, it's a very very powerful thing.
- 1:13:14And now that you have and I don't think social media is the problem
- 1:13:16people keeping social media. No, it just give people a platform to throw
- 1:13:20their to throw their paper airplane of content and turn around and run off.
- 1:13:25Yes, you don't have to hear the response. Yeah, exactly know.
- 1:13:27But I think that it's still I think conversation is still a good thing.
- 1:13:31So I'm gonna stop banning myself anybody that wants to work with you. Man,
- 1:13:40I'm gonna stop doing more shows to give me all the shows might as
- 1:13:43well all over my face, neck and chest has load me with them.
- 1:13:46Dude. Yeah, man, I'm like, like, I want to be
- 1:13:49boo cockied by shows. Yeah, if I have the time, and dude,
- 1:13:55it's doing a show with you. Man, that's gonna be oh my
- 1:13:58god. I think the one, man, I really do. I think
- 1:14:00it will be awesome. It's a very at least to be a fun experiment
- 1:14:02for a couple episodes. I mean, I'm good for it. I think
- 1:14:06that's that's to me. That's some that's some jay Z and Niles on the
- 1:14:11track. Shit, I'm not gonna sit here and say that I suck.
- 1:14:14So if anyone thinks I'm overboasting, I'm not. But I'm very proud of
- 1:14:17what I do and i love my product and you are absolutely one of my
- 1:14:20mentors. So getting to step on it like getting to do it. If
- 1:14:24you're like, yeah, you want to do an album? Fuck yes,
- 1:14:27dude, this is awesome. I'm fucking super excited. Now I'm almost Channing
- 1:14:30Tatum's here, Danny McBride at the end of fucking this is it? Love
- 1:14:35him? See that? Yeah, Jared, dude, he loves see that
- 1:14:44shit. Put that ship in there. I slide in that shittytime. I
- 1:14:46want to fucking get the fuck down. I love him. Here that fucking
- 1:14:56Channing Tatum fucking loves me, Bro Joe and ship. Oh my god,
- 1:15:01fuck guys, awesome there, dude, Cool well, Jeb Well, thank
- 1:15:04you so much for jumping on here for this, Thanks for the already acceptance
- 1:15:08of doing a show with me in the future. And could you do me
- 1:15:11one more big favor and tell the people where they can find you. Oh
- 1:15:15my god. Absolutely, I'm never prepared for this either. As much as
- 1:15:18I fucking talk, I'm never prepared for this. But okay, we're gonna
- 1:15:24see if we can do this and take deep breath. Okay, everybody out

- 1:16:49find it, like, dude, just google proper Rumpus Media. I mean,
- 1:16:55it's there's there's so many things that we do, but there's so many
- 1:16:58more things that we are going to do, so podcasting, we're about to
- 1:17:01start heavily getting back into art and stuff again, so we'll be on the
- 1:17:05lookout for some of that. As you hear, and literally this was not
- 1:17:10any prerecorded, pre rehearse shit. You literally just heard the The podfather asked
