An inmate at the St. Louis County Jail in Duluth died early August 8th after jail staff performed CPR and used an AED—efforts that were ultimately unsuccessful. The Sheriff’s Office has extended condolences to the family while initiating a full, transparent investigation with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension to ensure accountability and avoid any conflict of interest.
