- 11:53[SPEAKER_02]: But whatever system we have, we were able to get it, so... Good for you.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they were really good.
- 12:02[UNKNOWN]: I thought that

- 12:10[SPEAKER_14]: But I was wrong.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_14]: I thought that should have been, I thought everybody should have been able to enjoy that.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think it should have been.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, the mainstream media doesn't want to cover it, but how were the fights?
- 12:24[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, they were amazing.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_14]: I'd never watched a full MMA match before.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_14]: My boys do.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_14]: that they have any women wrestlers they didn't they had like four four or five going up to the like the co-main event and they were they were hard man they were great fighters didn't always know who was going to win um... they was some of them he didn't but they were kind of the odds were pretty heavy on one of the other but they were still good bouts and they were
- 13:04[SPEAKER_14]: the first round for like the first three ones it's like what like the final two were amazing where they were five rounds where they they went more than one round or two rounds they actually made it like into the third round well that's great I'm glad you enjoyed it and you know it's all part of celebrating this great country and I know there's the usual
- 13:34[SPEAKER_02]: I was around back then, too, like, schools, the kids, like, and the thing is, it's very inexpensive.

- 14:17[SPEAKER_02]: That's a good thing.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_02]: That's not a bad thing.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_02]: And we hope to see more of that in the weeks to come.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_02]: So, uh, I agree.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_02]: All right, well listen, I got to run.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_02]: I got to call coming in.

- 14:30[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_02]: Bye now.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_02]: Good afternoon.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_02]: You're on the hotline.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_13]: Hi, Jeff.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_13]: It's Carrie.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_13]: How are you?
- 14:37[SPEAKER_02]: Good.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_02]: Now.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_13]: Can we talk about the pool?
- 14:41[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we can.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_02]: You're fundraising efforts.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_02]: I am expecting your call in from a pre-schedule guest.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm going to maybe have to pick it up later in the show.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_02]: But I know you're trying to raise money through the Northern New York Community Foundation to fund admission to the pools.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_13]: uh... because the ogres at city hall said decided to blame our fiscal was on the children so uh... there you go yes that's all i wanted to uh... point out uh... somebody last week said we had to go from me it's not a go from me it is a legit order organization that is collecting funds for this purpose okay already i know the pool was full on saturday up in the park and uh...

- 16:11[SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.

- 16:20[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, sir.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_02]: Bye now.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_02]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_04]: Mr. Tritoria Stone.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_02]: Mr. Stone, how are you?
- 16:30[SPEAKER_04]: it's been a long, long time, they stuck you.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_02]: Well we met in 2010 down in Long Island on the Kristen Davis governor thing and that was a pleasure to meet you then so but you're still involved in politics I take it.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_04]: Tim my blood, you know it's kind of like being in the mafia once you're in you can never really get out.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah and yeah I've written every
- 17:00[SPEAKER_04]: working on, like, hopefully be my six, which is the true story of the attempt of this assassination of Ronald Reagan.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_04]: Governments never released a report on that investigation, and I can tell you that when you file a freedom of information act for a question with the U.S. government, everything you get back, everything is entirely redacted.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_04]: tracking down the still living secret service agents, a couple of the doctors at George Washington Hospital and do quite a bit of international research, I mean there's a lot more to this story as people will find out.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_04]: Hopefully wrap that book up by the end of the week.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, well look forward to it.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_02]: Now, when I mentioned that Raju stones on to people, some of people know you, some don't, I would you describe Raju stone and his place in the tapestry of American politics dating back to the next few years, I take it.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_04]: I'm a veteran of 13 national presidential campaigns.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_04]: I worked originally for Richard Nixon and his comeback campaign of 1968.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_04]: It's very young man, again in his reelection in 1972.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_04]: because Nixon and Ronald Reagan were from the same southern California political milieu.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_04]: Many of my relationships with President Nixon allowed me to go to work for Governor Reagan in 1976.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_04]: We challenged a Gerald Ford for the nomination, which as you remember, Mayor was a very close run thing.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_04]: We got to actually the last competitive
- 18:52[SPEAKER_04]: Then I came back and reprised that role in President Reagan's 1980 campaign.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_04]: That's what I met Donald Trump.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_04]: And that's when I first saw that he had the capacity and strength and stamina.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_04]: And the independence to be a presidential candidate in his own right.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_04]: We're not under work for Reagan's reelection.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_04]: And I guess as early as 1988, I suggested to my friend down from that he run for president.
- 19:27[UNKNOWN]: I don't think he wasn't quite ready.
- 19:30[UNKNOWN]: The country wasn't quite ready.
- 19:32[UNKNOWN]: He did have his inventory committee.
- 19:34[UNKNOWN]: We did look at it.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_04]: And then in 2012, he did look seriously at it.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_04]: Look at it in 2000, but he realized
- 19:48[SPEAKER_04]: And then his friend Ross Perro, the billionaire, we've run so strongly in 92 and 96.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_04]: Erksham's run isn't dependent, I think, in 2000.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_04]: He correctly determined that if he ran, he would only probably divide the more conservative vote and tip the election to our goal or so.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_04]: He elected not to run, but by 2016, I don't know, the time was right.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_04]: had a deep trust of both parties of the Canadian Democrats, a deep trust of the media particularly a deep trust of all institutions.
- 20:27[UNKNOWN]: It was time for an outsider, and a question.
- 20:30[UNKNOWN]: Right.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_04]: Donald Trump was the first president who was not a governor, senator, a congressman, or a general.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_04]: And then, of course,
- 20:40[SPEAKER_04]: He was not re-elected in 2020, a lot of dispute about that, obviously.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_04]: Then he made the greatest comeback in American punk history even greater than the comeback of Nixon in 1968.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_04]: Sure.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_04]: Another term.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_04]: Now, I know there are some people like, I assume this just clickbait, people like Steve Baden, who run around saying what he can run again, they'll actually
- 21:08[SPEAKER_04]: based on the Constitution, he cannot run again, all the persons who only be elected to two terms, he will now have services to terms, they don't have to be contiguous, but how the media act that he was able to overcome the obstacles put in his way to win another term in the White House is pretty much a miracle and testimony to his strength and his
- 21:33[SPEAKER_02]: Well, have you noticed like take that issue of a third term, the media will hear somebody say or he'll jump, Trump will joke about his third term.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_02]: And then they run out and get all upset about it and talk about it forever.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_02]: But anybody who looked at the Constitution would know otherwise.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think he's calling people, you know, it's a music.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_04]: He's got a great sense of humor, but he knows that the Constitution prohibits it.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think he has any interest in running up for a third term.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_04]: This is as you know, this is a, this is the most difficult job in the world.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_04]: This is a man killer for anybody Republican or Democrat.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_04]: You are the leader of the free world.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_04]: And I must say I saw him the other day, he's, he's still a scratch call for him.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_04]: He's still put in incredible hours.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_04]: His big old stamina.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_04]: uh... is as great as as it has ever been uh... and he's still sharp as a tack well he's over in Geneva right now the i'm not finding humorous that those who are so offended when we question the deterioration both mentally and physically of joe biden they get that they they they they they were so fendable we raise that now they try to raise questions about trumps fitness i can tell you i've been with him
- 22:58[SPEAKER_04]: He's the same today as he was, you know, 30 years ago, I detect no difference whatsoever in his mental sharpness or his physicality.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_02]: Now, about yourself, it's hard to describe Roger Stone, but a lot of people use terms like political, dirty trickster and a rogue and all of these other things.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_02]: Do you think you're a bad guy?
- 23:21[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously not.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_04]: One man's dirty trick is another man's civic occupation.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, Jeff, in America, politics ain't being bad.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_04]: I'm prepared to do whatever's necessary to do like my candidates, short of breaking the law.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_04]: Politics is about being interesting.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_04]: When you start to bore the voters, well, they start looking elsewhere for candidates.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_04]: So yes, I do think that sometimes in politics, you need to use some pretty rough and attention gathering tactics.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_04]: But that doesn't mean that there is a moral or that there is illegal.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_04]: The people who want to call me a dirty trickster, usually people I've defeated in theocratic small-day elections.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_02]: Now, what about you working on the Constantine O'Campaign for Congress?
- 24:13[SPEAKER_02]: He is an interesting candidate by most standards.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_02]: It comes from outside, probably not familiar with the game as we know it.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_02]: How is he doing?
- 24:25[SPEAKER_04]: I think he's doing extraordinarily well.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_04]: I think the fact that he's leading now fairly comfortably, very much in the mold of Trump, people don't like career politicians.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_04]: People don't trust career politicians.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_04]: Voter's generally speaking, would like somebody who's created jobs or who's met a payroll or has some life outside of politics.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_04]: I think he's doing extraordinarily well.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_04]: notable that he's financing his own campaign.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_04]: Now, if you're a critic, you can say, oh, he's trying to buy the election.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_04]: I can just tell you, a 50-year career American politics, that argument has never worked on behalf of anyone.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_04]: Did anyone ever say that Nelson Rockefeller was trying to buy the election?
- 25:16[SPEAKER_04]: Well, Tom, when you find it, when you find
- 25:24[SPEAKER_04]: for big pharma or the banks or the insurance companies or the defense contractors or everyone else was trying to buy influence in Washington.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_04]: You can tell them that you don't take their money and you're not beholden to them.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_04]: And I think Constantine Jino as one of the greatest slogans of all time, Anthony Constantine Jino, nobody's man.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_02]: Now, out in California, Tom Styer spent a boatload of money last month, trying to win that primary and he lost, so it doesn't always work spending a lot of money.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_04]: Now, that's absolutely true if that were true, John Connelly, would have been present in the United States.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_04]: So, it's not about, these are two different issues.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_04]: One is whether the fact that you were self-financing, liberate you from the special interests of Washington, where I know many,
- 26:17[SPEAKER_04]: Good men and women go to Washington with good intentions, but it becomes a money chase.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_04]: She spent all of your time raising the money for your reelection.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_04]: And, you know, unfortunately it's true that with that money comes the strings.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_04]: You take money from a certain industry.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_04]: Well, then they frankly expect to be to vote with them.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_04]: So, I think the great strength of financing your own campaign.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_04]: That said, today, even in the 21st century from New York, television is expensive.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_04]: Cable is expensive.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_04]: Radio is expensive.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_04]: And it is unrealistic to think that you can run a modern campaign without communicating with hundreds of thousands of voters.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_04]: And that is the most efficient.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_04]: Those are the most efficient ways to do so.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_04]: Now, it's not inexpensive.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_04]: does that mean that the candidate with the most money will always win?
- 27:20[SPEAKER_04]: No, but I would say this, the candidate with the most money whose opponent is undefunded will most likely win.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_02]: Now in this race it's kind of interesting because the party establishment from state chairman Ed Cox, who you're probably new from the next in Europe, right on down in the mind.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_04]: Good guy hasn't want to state a wide election in 2022.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_04]: down into all the county committees county chairs a lot of them are supporting mr. small and and they're hyperclivity voters you know they're going to get out and vote because we don't really know who's we're all we're talking about twelve hundred people totally well might be yeah yeah so i mean i guess i would can see that they will they will get out of the boat however the maga voters the trump voters are very highly motivated
- 28:12[SPEAKER_04]: those who are committed to consentino are less likely to change their mind and more likely to vote than those who are committed to vote for his opponent.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_04]: This is part, I think, of the Trump phenomenon.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_04]: So I can see to you, the politicians will definitely vote for Mr. Smollett.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_04]: Of that, there is no doubt about how many of them are, do they work?
- 28:35[SPEAKER_04]: And that one of them they don't want to be.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_02]: One thing that interested me was it looked for a time like Mr. Constantino was trying to stay out of debates and then that one day he walked into that studio and connected he and he smoked this guy uh... i think he did well uh... and then of course the handshake incident how important is all of that well i think it became more important basically by the way mr. small and conductive self i mean
- 29:04[SPEAKER_04]: right after Anthony Constantinio commended him for his military service, we would strike the guy's hand, and then frankly came up with seven different excuses as to why you did.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_04]: So, the last one being the most outrageous that Anthony Constantinio had said something about the death of his son.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_04]: That is an agregist bald-faced lie, and that's what people hate about career politicians.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_04]: Just like, um,
- 29:30[SPEAKER_04]: when small and said that constant you know put the sign of the top of his factory after the election you go on fox right now we'll go on the internet and you'll see that's yet another lie and he doesn't own a chinese solar farm yet another lie so look all i think voters recognize that career politicians of both parties they lie a lot but that's the thing about it because you know he's not a politician
- 29:58[SPEAKER_04]: In fact, I don't think you'll ever be a politician.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_04]: He's a political activist, but he's first and foremost a businessman.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_04]: And when you lie in business, well, you usually lose money.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_04]: So I do think that debate was entertaining until the very end.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_04]: I thought it was a fairly even contest when you consider that Mr. Smallons and
- 30:26[SPEAKER_04]: Canada, he's been in numerous campaigns and numerous debates, I thought he did, I thought he did well, thought the entity did extraordinarily well, at the end, not shaking his opponents hands, made him look like a sore loser.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, now looking past the primary, if Mr. Constantine Owens, he probably will have to face Blake Gendobine, who's sort of this, I call him cows and carhart guys, a dairy farmer from up north, but he's already raised a ton of money, and it looks like a kind of a Democrat year from the polling so far.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_02]: So this is going to be a tough district to hold on to, isn't it?
- 31:09[SPEAKER_04]: I think the district's still leans Republican, you have two other questions here, of course, but Mr. Smallen is on the conservative party line.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_04]: We don't know whether you would stay on that line.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_04]: You would have no prospect of victory on that line, but it's also remembered that Anthony Constantino is on the taxpayers' line.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_04]: He has an extra line, and
- 31:35[SPEAKER_04]: Unlike the other candidate, he could stay in this race.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_04]: Let's just say hypothetically, which I don't think is true.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_04]: But let's just say hypothetically, did not win the Republican primary.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_04]: He can drop another $10 million in this race and run as the taxpayers party here today.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_04]: And he'd be very much a viable candidate.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_04]: So, you know, New York's unique multi-party cross-indorsement system.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_04]: which may have to tell you you try to explain to people in other states that they really really don't understand it Hmm, it kind of constitutes ways one thing is absolutely sure.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_04]: I think Constantinople will be on the ballot as both the nominee of the Republican and the taxpayers party But at a minimum, he will be on the ballot as a candidate What my understanding is that and he can eat its weakness been without limitation my understanding is that if
- 32:30[SPEAKER_02]: If Mr. Smallen loses and he does have ten days to get off the conservative line, the conservative party chair, Jerry Casar, has indicated that he'll just leave the line blank or black as they say.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_02]: Because he had a big feud with Constantine O. Yeah, they don't seem to get along.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know how that would work out.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_04]: It would be shame if the seat were put, were unnecessarily put at risk.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think it's a swing district, I think it will in the end, reliably Republican district.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_04]: I won't tell you this, all of the polling I've seen in a great deal shows me that at least the Fonic is one of the most popular Congresswoman in the country.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_04]: Within this district, she is extraordinarily popular because she's done such a good job.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_04]: She's the president's popular.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_04]: The president is popular.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_02]: She's back in constant you know they seem I saw a picture she's endorsed no candidate at this time
- 33:29[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, the other question is, I'm sure you followed what happened where she was nominated to the United Nations.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_02]: That got screwed up because Republicans couldn't come up with a candidate for this district.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_02]: She was asked to stay in Congress, then she ran for governor, and she got, I think, double cross by Trump on that and Trump was backing Blakeman who's going nowhere.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, she should be the one running for governor as the Republican candidate in my mind.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_04]: say a couple of things.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_04]: The concern in the reason that in the end, the White House pulled her nomination was that in an August special election, there's a history in New York State of Republicans losing Republican districts in August special elections.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_04]: In August special election would have been more difficult for the party and therefore
- 34:26[SPEAKER_04]: in the house, the seat would have been at risk.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_04]: So she made an extraordinary sacrifice.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_04]: I agree with you.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_04]: I think she would have been substantially stronger, candidate for governor than Bruce Blakeman.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_04]: Not that I don't like Blakeman.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_04]: I do.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_04]: He's a good guy.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_04]: But for any Republican, it's an uphill race in New York.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_04]: Both in terms of the demographics.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_04]: in terms of the expense.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_04]: And frankly, there are I have certain questions about election and January, mostly downstate of course.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_04]: So it is an uphill race for any Republican.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think the president double crossed her.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_04]: She could have called in that endorsement.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_04]: She, I believe she had a commitment for it.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_04]: And the end, she may have made the best decision here, because on paper, you could raise all the money you need.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_04]: You could run a perfect campaign, that's a non-presidential year, and because of the demographic trend in the state, this is a blue state.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_04]: No longer is a blue state.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_04]: You could work very hard to great job and still potentially lose.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_04]: Look, I don't think the least of Monica is by any means finished.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_04]: I think her greatest days of public service lie ahead.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_04]: important and meaningful role perhaps as a cabinet member in the second two years of Trump administration or perhaps again as a candidate for statewide officer perhaps in the future Republican.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_02]: I remember one night back in 2010.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_02]: I was sitting up having dinner and a phone rang it was you and of course this involved the Kristen Davis thing and you a pitch the idea of me running as a lieutenant governor and I turned it down at the time because I didn't want to get in the fight with the publisher of the local newspaper.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_02]: I wish I had made the other decision but that didn't work out but that would have been an interesting race I think for me.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_04]: Well I do think that voters
- 36:37[SPEAKER_04]: The target of career politicians, the target of the same old, the target of politicians who throw a wet finger into the air to figure out where they need to stand, and politics is former president Richard Nixon, who was my mentor told me, politics is about being interesting.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_04]: If you are not provocative, if you're not interesting, if you're just selling that same old
- 37:08[SPEAKER_04]: I see you say the only thing about his worst there would be wrong is being boring.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_02]: Now, the other thing is, as a political guru and operative, and putting aside stance on issues, you have to look at this Mamedami phenomenon as something, whether it's his charmer, or whatever, how did he get himself elected mayor?
- 37:30[SPEAKER_04]: But I think there's two parts of this, one, I think people very much like the election of Barack Obama, people voted for hope and change without really focusing on what that hope and change meant.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_04]: And when you promise free everything to everyone else, free healthcare, free transportation, free this, free that.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_04]: It all sounds great.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_04]: I think voters, particularly younger voters, don't ever stop, say, a little wait a minute.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_04]: who is going to pay for this, how is this going to be paid for?
- 38:05[SPEAKER_04]: So I do think for people to take the bug, Judgment that New York City is now dominated by socialists, I don't think that's true.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_04]: I think a lot of people voted for, you know, what was an upbeat and optimistic sounding different,
- 38:27[SPEAKER_04]: a candidacy.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_04]: On the other hand, watch property taxes, watch crime in the city.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_04]: I think that New York is going to deteriorate very substantially under the soft-time crime eye taxes are regulatory.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_04]: policies of BMW.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I'm a great, great lover of pizza.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_04]: There's nothing better than a coal fired up in pizza right now in New York City.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_04]: They're trying to outlaw coal-fired ovens.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_02]: Now, his Andrew Cuomo finished in New York politics.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_04]: After that, I believe that he is.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_04]: I believe that he is.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_04]: He couldn't wear that when the mayor's race.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think he can win a race.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_04]: He's very, very smart guy.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_04]: I've always had a decent relationship with them despite our political differences.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_04]: But I do think that it is passed in by in terms of being a candidate for a statewide office.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_04]: Couldn't win the mayor's race.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_04]: That tells you a lot right there.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_04]: Don't think he should win a governor's race.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_04]: But that's more has to do with his party,
- 39:47[SPEAKER_04]: he was driven from office by democrats he was driven from office because of the me too phenomena frankly always thought uh... that is handling of covid uh... and he's putting people into the nursing homes was a far more serious issue than the personal allegations against him well they always use that expression he uh... was slapping phanies and killing grannies and that's not a very attractive thing to have said
- 40:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it is.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_02]: Now he, um, okay, Hockel, if she be able.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_04]: If you really is, I must say that I, again, looking at some of this polling, I've never seen a governor in the 50 years I've been working in American politics with a lower approval rating anywhere in the country.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_04]: But, you know, it takes a lot of money to be here.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_04]: That's the serious issue.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_04]: strong candidate, excuse me, Bainer, but it's probably the second or third most expensive state in the country to run a race and where's the money come from?
- 41:01[SPEAKER_02]: And the other one I have.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_04]: And when your governor doesn't matter how unpopular you are, you can always raise money because
- 41:11[SPEAKER_02]: One more question on politics.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_02]: Graham Platner up in Maine.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think of that whole thing?
- 41:17[SPEAKER_02]: And how did he get over 70% of the vote?
- 41:24[SPEAKER_02]: Hello?
- 41:27[SPEAKER_04]: I think that he is, I think that Susan Collins could have hoped for a better candidate, opposing her.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_04]: Me, Maine is an interesting state as two congressional districts.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_04]: One of them is extremely conservative.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_04]: And the other one is extremely liberal, and generally speaking, that this stage has been trending more towards the Democratic, more towards the left, on the other hand, I think he's a fatally flawed candidate, it's not just philosophical, obviously, some of its personal.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_04]: But it also tells you to extend to which, let's call them, progressives.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_04]: I've taken control of the Democrat party.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_04]: If AOC, Charlotte Challenges, Chuck Schumer, in the statewide Democrat primary, she won't just defeat him, she'll defeat him easily.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_04]: Easily.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, let's remember, she beat Joe Cat Crowley, who's not really a congressman, but the chairman of the Queen's county machine.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_04]: She beat him in the primary.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_04]: So the term moderate Democrat, that's now an oxy moron.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_04]: The moderate Democrat cannot win their presidential nomination, moderate Democrat cannot win a statewide nomination.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not sure that, in all honesty, Hispanic or African-American candidate in the Democrat primary in New York is always going to be the stronger candidate.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not sure that a white Catholic candidate, for example, can win a statewide
- 43:01[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_02]: Well, if Mr. Konstantino wins the primary, I assume we'll be hearing more from you in the months to come.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_04]: I might even come up there for primary now to have him sit again.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_04]: I've got a couple other races I'm working on, but look Anthony is a he's an extraordinarily energetic independent guy who's put his money where his mouth is.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_04]: I think it is admirable that he's paying for his own campaigns, not side by side by the sea.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, listen.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_02]: I was impressed by the debate and I live three miles outside the district, so I can't do you much good voting wise.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_02]: I'm in tenies district.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_04]: Well, it's great to be back on your show again, it's been a long time.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_04]: Yep.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_04]: You can come back sometime.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_02]: That would be great, Roger Stone, political legend, glad to have you here.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_02]: You have a good day, sir.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you, Mayor Graham, great to be with you.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_02]: Bye now.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_02]: Alrighty, that's Roger Stone.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, they don't get those interviews on live at five, do they?
- 44:06[SPEAKER_02]: We'll be back with more in a moment.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_06]: depend on the news and talk authority, WATN, AM-1240.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_21]: Constantino won the debate, and the moment everyone's talking about proved it.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_21]: Trump endorsed businessman Anthony Constantino delivered a commanding performance against career politician Robert Smullen.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_21]: Constantino talked about creating American jobs, building a company with over 1,000 employees and standing up to Democrat boycotts in political attacks.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_21]: All while self-funding his campaign to serve the people of New York's 21st District, Smullen appeared angry, defensive, and unprepared.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_21]: But the most talked about moment came at the end.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_21]: After praising Smullen's military service in his closing remarks, Konstantino walked over to shake his hand.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_21]: Smullen refused, turning his back in front of the entire audience.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_21]: Konstantino later said, If he can't shake my hand, how can he work with people in Washington?
- 45:01[SPEAKER_21]: The contrast couldn't be clearer.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_21]: On June 23rd, vote for Anthony Constantino.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_21]: He's Trump endorsed the job creator, outsider, and fighter.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_21]: He's nobody's man but yours.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_21]: Early voting starts June 13th.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_21]: I'm Anthony Constantino and I approve this message.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_21]: Paid for by Constantino for Congress.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_08]: We all have cans and bottles, so it makes sense to bring them to the Make Sense Redemption Center on Loray Street in Watertown.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_08]: The only fully automated redemption center in the area.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_08]: Your account is done fast, right before your eyes, so you're on your way quicker.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_08]: Depending on the team of dedicated employees who do this as efficiently as possible, because this is what they do, so you can get in and on your way without the hassle.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_08]: Make Sense Redemption Center is open Monday through Saturday on Loray Street Watertown with speed, service, and savings just makes sense.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_08]: Bring your cans and bottles today.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_20]: North Country, we've got news.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_20]: With the upcoming closure of North Star Pediatrics, no co-family health centers now collaborating with North Star to support pediatric care.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_20]: Our no-co team is expanding with two of the areas top pediatric caregivers.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_20]: Dr. John Devine and physician assistant Robin Frost are joining the Jefferson County Pediatric Care Team.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_20]: That means families can stick with providers they know and trust, while getting greater appointment availability.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_20]: That includes early morning and evening appointments, Tuesday to Thursday at our main campus in Watertown at 238 Arsenal Street.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_20]: Same day and walk ends are also welcome.

- 47:28[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you know a lot of people, thank you again to Roger Stone.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of people said, well you shouldn't have him on the air.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_02]: You don't know all of that stuff.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_02]: You know how they'll be all over my blog.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, kind of about it later.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_02]: Caterawalling about this and that.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_02]: We're glad to have him.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_02]: And you know what?
- 47:41[SPEAKER_02]: If David Axle were on the call then I'd be honored to talk to him too.

- 47:48[SPEAKER_02]: so many political races you can get into.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, we'll see what happens with this constant keynote thing.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_02]: Don't forget early voting is going on now.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_02]: First of all, if you're an employee at the county building and you live in this area, get your ass down to the second floor and vote, OK?
- 48:06[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to at least do that.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_02]: And so many opportunities over the next week or so, and then of course, primary day on the 23rd, 6am to 9pm.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_02]: the most expansive voting hours in the country.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_02]: You can't beat it.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_02]: So if you're in, and I know the district line goes through Jefferson County, a portion of Jefferson County, all of Lewis and St. Lawrence are in the 21st.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_02]: That's the staphonic district.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_02]: That means if you're a Republican or a Democrat, there are primaries in both parties.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_02]: Over here,
- 48:42[SPEAKER_02]: In the 24th, which is Claudia Tenney's district, there is a Democratic primary.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_02]: So if you're a Democrat in Watertown, you can go down and vote.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_02]: The media doesn't tell you this stuff, because they don't know.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_02]: Half of them don't vote.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_02]: Last year, we had pretty good participation here at the building.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_05]: It was one glaring stand out, but it didn't vote.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_02]: But, um...
- 49:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, just get out there and do it.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_02]: Get her done, get her done, as they say.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_02]: You can even vote on Friday, which is June 10th.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_02]: I think your canners, are they, they're not closing elections down for June 10th.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_02]: What about our democracy?
- 49:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, our democracy.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what to say about June 10th.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_02]: Other than, it's an acknowledgement of the end of slavery down in Texas and Galveston or something.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_02]: and like a lot of events, it's certainly worth noting as a cultural tradition, certainly worth teaching, but it's kind of like Cinco de Mayo to me.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, why is it a holiday?
- 49:55[SPEAKER_02]: It can be an event that you can have a party for, or that you can acknowledge, or whatever.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's like Valentine's Day.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_02]: Why don't we get that one off too?
- 50:04[SPEAKER_02]: Same Patrick's Day, you can see Irish?
- 50:07[SPEAKER_02]: You wouldn't raise their flag?
- 50:08[SPEAKER_02]: You're against him?
- 50:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't know why we had to have June teeth and a city of water town's closed down the city government, they were so quick to adopt.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even think the Council of Repass to Resolution to acknowledge it as a holiday.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_02]: And the third floor just decided, oh, well, everybody gets a day off.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, my God.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_02]: Um, that's fine.

- 54:16[SPEAKER_02]: There you go.
- 54:17[SPEAKER_02]: We've got it was an interesting article.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_02]: I was reading here about I got a chain so sell you know these things on fruit and sell by this day to best you
- 54:27[SPEAKER_02]: best if used by this data is kind of confusing because you end up to get these people looking at bottoms of cans or something and a can of corn or something which you know historic properly at last forever same thing with most a lot of products are you know whether it's refrigerated for us whatever there's a lot of variables that go into obviously milk is the most I mean obviously if you leave a gallon of milk on the counter as opposed to keeping it refrigerated it's not going to taste as good on the counter
- 54:56[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I never really knew how long eggs last, some, you know, bearing things, but, um, it's like a lot of this stuff and the people say, well, I, this says, it's expired.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_02]: It was the eat of the fruit was in your own cupboard.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_21]: Oh, yeah, yeah, I'm not throwing it out.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_02]: You know, like a potato chip, there are things that are bad, but you've got to play it by you.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_02]: Use judgment.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, judgment.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_02]: What the heck's that?
- 55:23[SPEAKER_02]: It's a God-given trait, is what it is.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_02]: Other things going on, they parade in New York Thursday for the next.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_02]: Are they going to burn some more school buses?
- 55:37[SPEAKER_02]: Who pays for those?
- 55:41[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, they would just haven't found.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_04]: Let Noffstein, it's okay.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_02]: We don't do that here in the North Country.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_02]: We don't do that.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_02]: 755, 1240, our phone number, if you'd like to get on the air today, what about this deal with Iran?
- 55:58[SPEAKER_02]: When's that going to blow up in our face?
- 56:01[SPEAKER_02]: Like every other of their 40 previous ones?
- 56:04[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the market's up.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_05]: That's the only important thing because that's all people care about is the market, right?
- 56:11[SPEAKER_05]: They're 401k's all of that.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_02]: Not all stocks are up of course.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_02]: Some are, some are, some aren't.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, hopefully whatever you have is up.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_02]: And you're making lots of money.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_02]: But this is going to be, you know, this whole thing with the, of course, the price of oil is going down.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_02]: Now, it's down to about 82 bucks a barrel.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_02]: And who's Brent?
- 56:44[SPEAKER_02]: Why do you get a crude named after him?
- 56:46[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I want to know.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_02]: But after noon you're on the air.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_05]: Good to hear Roger Stone on there.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_05]: Good to hear a guy with a lot of insights.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_05]: I don't agree with him politically, but smart guy to talk with.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, I heard you say you didn't like June teens.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_05]: Is the holiday correct?
- 57:12[SPEAKER_02]: Well, not as a holiday that business is closed down or government.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_02]: I have no problem acknowledging it.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_05]: um... but clotted tanny our our girls uh... she introduced legislation last year to make uh... flag day yesterday trumps birthday national holiday sitting president what you're putting thoughts on that well i don't agree with it i don't agree with putting trumps name on a candidate center i think there's a lot silly things that have gone on the past couple years and uh...
- 57:50[SPEAKER_02]: that's one of them history will judge trump as it does everybody and uh... now i have no problem fixing up the reflecting pond so that watching it doesn't look like a dump uh... or things like a cleaning a graffiti off national monuments but i don't think we need that art to triumph or any of that stuff or i've no problem with the ufc event though yeah that was nice
- 58:16[SPEAKER_02]: someone else wanted to put his things uh... rush more no on his uh... face and money uh... on the so-called two hundred fifty dollar bill well it's not legal under current law unless you do it as a commemorative bill in which case nobody would really have them uh... uh... no i don't think so i'm in favor of higher currencies like at five hundred or something but put uh... but after the r on it or teddy rose velder's uh...
- 58:46[SPEAKER_05]: It's kind of gone nuts for the desadoration from some of the mega folks, and that's just one example, but Okay, okay, shut up again.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_05]: Roger Roger was great.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_02]: Well, thank you.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_02]: Bye now.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_02]: Good afternoon.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_02]: You got to be quick Yeah, go ahead.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you're doing I don't know if I have enough time, but I I want to ask you a few questions back in 2015
- 59:10[SPEAKER_05]: you ran uh... for mayor and else wondering uh... you ran one of the things that you ran on was uh... making the city better for recreation for for the kids yeah i lost yeah i lost that election yeah i know you did but do you remember what do you remember your focus was on recreation well at the time there was a debate over the uh...
- 59:40[SPEAKER_02]: And there is a debate over what what to do with all the pools and there's still a debate now.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_02]: So I guess we're stuck with two pools, so we got to have a debate.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_02]: Listen, I got a run, okay?
- 59:51[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks, by now.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
