- 0:04Speaker 1: There was a we have learned that you can send
- 0:06Speaker 1: voice memos to us here at Big ninety eight point seven.
- 0:09Speaker 1: So if you do a voice memo in your phone
- 0:12Speaker 1: and you know, texted to us or whatever at seven
- 0:14Speaker 1: oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven, we
- 0:17Speaker 1: can hear it. And I thought you were pranking me.
- 0:21Speaker 1: You sent this in right, and I don't think it
- 0:25Speaker 1: was you, you know, after listening to it again, but
- 0:27Speaker 1: I was like, wow, this sounds like this sounds like
- 0:29Speaker 1: something Angie would say, Oh gosh, what right, Well, it's
- 0:33Speaker 1: from Tara, okay, And Tara sent this to us because
- 0:36Speaker 1: she you know, I just want to be a part
- 0:37Speaker 1: of the show. And I think this is a fabulous
- 0:41Speaker 1: kind of question here today from Tara. All right, take
- 0:43Speaker 1: a listen to this.
- 0:44Speaker 2: I get really upset when my boyfriend never dreams about me,
- 0:48Speaker 2: Like he tells me all about these wild dreams he
- 0:50Speaker 2: has zombies, car crashes, random celebrities, but never me. He
- 0:55Speaker 2: thinks I'm being crazy, but I think it's normal to
- 0:58Speaker 2: dream about your partner sometimes.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Tara, thank you so much for posing this question or
- 1:04Speaker 1: just you know, commenting here with Big ninety eight point seven. Angie,
- 1:07Speaker 1: why do I get the feeling that if Mikey were
- 1:09Speaker 1: for like two months straight to tell you about these
- 1:12Speaker 1: just extravagant dreams where he's saving the planet, Mission impossible,
- 1:16Speaker 1: saving babies from burning buildings, you know whatever, hanging out
- 1:20Speaker 1: with Leonardo DiCaprio, and not one time does he mention, oh,
- 1:24Speaker 1: and Angie was there. Why do I have a feeling
- 1:26Speaker 1: he wouldn't be thrilled by that? Do you care if
- 1:29Speaker 1: your man dreams about you or not?
- 1:31Speaker 3: You know what I feel like If he doesn't dream
- 1:33Speaker 3: about me, it's just because I'm already a dream come true,
- 1:37Speaker 3: so he does I have to have me and woah, No, seriously, though,
- 1:46Speaker 3: if it was like never, like if it was two
- 1:48Speaker 3: months straight and every day he had a dream and
- 1:52Speaker 3: every day I was so cool, and every day I
- 1:54Speaker 3: was not in the dream, I would feel a way.
- 1:58Speaker 3: I don't think I would say anything though him, I
- 2:00Speaker 3: just in my head right before bed every night, I'd
- 2:03Speaker 3: be like, you better don't dream about Mikey.
- 2:05Speaker 4: Don't dream about him. Don't dream it because he's in
- 2:07Speaker 4: my dreams a lot.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Never like in any fantastical way, but like he's just
- 2:11Speaker 3: in my life, so he pops up in the dreams
- 2:14Speaker 3: so that would be weird to me, Like, why are
- 2:16Speaker 3: you blocking me out of your unconscious That's rude?
- 2:19Speaker 1: Yeah, seven holds Mikey is rude and you can't even
- 2:22Speaker 1: help it, Isn't that crazy? Seven oh one two eight
- 2:25Speaker 1: zero one nine eight seven. If your partner never dreamed
- 2:29Speaker 1: about you, would you feel a way about it? My
- 2:33Speaker 1: wife would not be thrilled, like over time, Yeah, you'd
- 2:36Speaker 1: kind of be like, what wi each other? Every day?
- 2:39Speaker 1: How are you never ever thinking about me in your sleep?
- 2:42Speaker 4: Okay?
- 2:42Speaker 3: But what's worse if you are never dreaming about the
- 2:45Speaker 3: partner or if when you dream about them, like they
- 2:48Speaker 3: did something wrong? Because I have had dreams where like
- 2:52Speaker 3: Mikey's oh what a shock misbehaving?
- 2:54Speaker 5: Yeah, in my dream, and then I wake up low
- 2:57Speaker 5: key mad. Yeah, there's nothing more. There's nothing funnier than
- 3:01Speaker 5: on a Saturday or Sunday where Corey wakes up and
- 3:04Speaker 5: has an attitude for twenty minutes because dream Gabe was
- 3:08Speaker 5: acting a fool.
- 3:09Speaker 3: I feel like dream Gabe and real Gabe are very
- 3:12Speaker 3: similar creatures.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Did you have a little victory from the weekend, Angie?
- 3:23Speaker 4: I sure did.
- 3:24Speaker 3: I Okay, So I've got two boys who are both
- 3:29Speaker 3: in the middle of growth spurts, and they eat so much,
- 3:32Speaker 3: Gabe so much to the point where like do they
- 3:36Speaker 3: have tapeworms? Like, I don't know what the issue is.
- 3:38Speaker 4: They ate so much. And I did like.
- 3:41Speaker 3: The huge monster grocery shop for the weekend. It should
- 3:45Speaker 3: last us two weeks, I think because the way. But
- 3:51Speaker 3: when I went to grocery shop, I saved forty seven
- 3:56Speaker 3: dollars on my groceries because I went to Target.
- 3:59Speaker 4: That's where I get all my groceries.
- 4:01Speaker 3: And by the way, Target was like having a deal,
- 4:03Speaker 3: like all food and beverage was like fifteen percent off
- 4:06Speaker 3: or something, because I have.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Never heard anyone say that not Target had a deal.
- 4:12Speaker 1: But I do my grocery shopping at Target.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it's because I'm vegan and they have a
- 4:16Speaker 3: lot of options. Yeah so, and I have a Target
- 4:19Speaker 3: Red card, so then you save five percent.
- 4:21Speaker 1: It's the whole thing.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Anyway, this weekend they had this like big deal, and
- 4:24Speaker 3: I think it was because everybody moved into their college dorms.
- 4:28Speaker 3: I've never seen so many college kids in one place
- 4:32Speaker 3: where it wasn't the college campus. It was everyone stocking
- 4:35Speaker 3: up on ramen and shower caddies and like it was insane.
- 4:39Speaker 1: It was so busy, little put together desks.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Yes, but because I happened to shop this weekend, I like,
- 4:47Speaker 3: you know, they get to the total and it was
- 4:49Speaker 3: like you saved forty seven dollars on your shopping trip.
- 4:52Speaker 3: To still it was magical, magical and so hopefully by
- 4:56Speaker 3: the time I get home there's still food in the house.
- 4:58Speaker 4: These kids eat too much game. But I cannot.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Well, that's wonderful. I'm glad you. You know, there is
- 5:05Speaker 1: something about when you get a deal and you actually
- 5:07Speaker 1: think it was a deal, you know, yeah, I'll save
- 5:09Speaker 1: ten percent, and then you're like, oh, nice, I saved
- 5:12Speaker 1: like ten dollars out of one hundred, which is still
- 5:15Speaker 1: saving ten dollars.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Yeah, but I was, and I just wasn't really even
- 5:19Speaker 3: keeping track of how much, you know, I was, because
- 5:23Speaker 3: it was like I gotta feed these kids no matter what.
- 5:24Speaker 3: But then for it to be like, at the bottom
- 5:26Speaker 3: of this receipt you say forty seven dollars, I just
- 5:29Speaker 3: felt so proudly.
- 5:30Speaker 1: I'm going to take a gas. You know, Yes, that's awesome, Well,
- 5:33Speaker 1: good for you, thank you.
- 5:34Speaker 4: What's yours game?
- 5:35Speaker 1: This weekend, I was at and I'll be honest, I
- 5:38Speaker 1: did not really know what this was called. This was
- 5:40Speaker 1: a Corey Glitten find my wife. But the Island Park Show,
- 5:45Speaker 1: which is just a bunch of arts and crafts and
- 5:48Speaker 1: vendors and food and music or whatever. Yeah, and it
- 5:52Speaker 1: was so fun. We had a great time. And I
- 5:54Speaker 1: bought a hoodie I have on right now.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Oh this is from Island Park showtime.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Yep, this exactly from there. It's kind of a green
- 6:02Speaker 1: like North Dakota hoodie. Right, And normally this hoodie, I swear,
- 6:05Speaker 1: would have been like fifty to eighty bucks. Yeah, and
- 6:08Speaker 1: I got it. It's kind of funny a deal, like
- 6:11Speaker 1: we're both. I got it on sale for thirty dollars
- 6:13Speaker 1: and I my hoodie of the winter.
- 6:15Speaker 4: I think it looks good. You look good in like
- 6:18Speaker 4: a forest.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you, I do. That's like my favorite kind
- 6:21Speaker 1: of color to wear. I also found a Minnesota Wild
- 6:24Speaker 1: hoodie at this other store in Fargo. Once again somewhere
- 6:28Speaker 1: Corey dragged me for fifteen dollars. It was all nice.
- 6:31Speaker 1: It wasn't at you know, what are those stores you
- 6:33Speaker 1: donate clothes and at the thrift store they might give
- 6:36Speaker 1: you like three bucks back yeah, but yeah, it was
- 6:39Speaker 1: one of those off of forty fifth, kind of over
- 6:41Speaker 1: in the West Fargoish area. And so I just collected
- 6:44Speaker 1: hoodies for under fifty bucks this week.
- 6:47Speaker 4: I really love this for you. Yeah, and I need
- 6:49Speaker 4: to follow suits.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Yeah. So, but we had a great time at the
- 6:52Speaker 1: Island Parks show. The dog got to go. She got
- 6:54Speaker 1: herself like a dog chew toy or whatever. We had
- 6:58Speaker 1: some food and then just walked and enjoyed the time.
- 7:01Speaker 1: It was very busy. There was a lot of people
- 7:03Speaker 1: there when we went on Saturday, and I'm sure some
- 7:05Speaker 1: of that has to do with the weather being pretty decent. Yeah,
- 7:08Speaker 1: you know, partly Sonny in sixty eight or whatever. It was.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Your amazing wife actually had texted me and let me
- 7:14Speaker 3: know that you guys were gonna go, and I wanted
- 7:17Speaker 3: to go, but it was one of those this is
- 7:19Speaker 3: laundry weekend, so I just had to do mountains of
- 7:22Speaker 3: laundry because we couldn't go out make it.
- 7:24Speaker 4: That would have been bad.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Why my name is a lot of first day classes
- 7:32Speaker 1: for people, a lot of first day of school for
- 7:35Speaker 1: the younger kids. And how does your name or I guess,
- 7:40Speaker 1: how is it said? And then how does it get
- 7:42Speaker 1: messed up? Was there a weird spelling in it? My
- 7:45Speaker 1: name is Gabe or gabriel and from time to time
- 7:49Speaker 1: I would get a Gabrielle, which I always thought was
- 7:52Speaker 1: strange seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 7:57Speaker 1: If I ever got like a telemarketer something, once in
- 8:01Speaker 1: a blue moon, I would get a Guilden, which I
- 8:04Speaker 1: never understood. I mean, Gabrielle. Fine, I could kind of
- 8:07Speaker 1: you know, you kind of get it. Yeah, but Guilden.
- 8:10Speaker 1: How do you get gil out of glit?
- 8:13Speaker 4: Oh? Yeah, they just switch at.
- 8:14Speaker 3: My mom's last name is ave Yaneva, which is a
- 8:18Speaker 3: Cuban last name, so it would always get messed up
- 8:21Speaker 3: because it has a double l, which makes the ya
- 8:24Speaker 3: sounded Spanish, so it'd be like, can we speak to
- 8:26Speaker 3: missus Avilanita, it's big.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Ninety eight point seven. Who's this?
- 8:34Speaker 6: I gave this a Diana Lemieux. I gotta tell this
- 8:37Speaker 6: story about name name wrong.
- 8:40Speaker 1: All right.
- 8:41Speaker 6: So ten years ago, my daughter, long story short, my
- 8:43Speaker 6: daughter was in from and I I emailed Shirley Photography
- 8:49Speaker 6: to have them send me a picture that was in
- 8:51Speaker 6: the midweek at the time. It was the midweek, and
- 8:53Speaker 6: so it was Charley's photography and I emailed it through
- 8:57Speaker 6: the website. And my name is Diana Lemieux. Right, can't
- 9:00Speaker 6: get it wrong. So I get this and you know what,
- 9:03Speaker 6: My name was printed in the front duabadaba kudu c
- 9:10Speaker 6: u A d A k u E n X.
- 9:15Speaker 1: You know what that sounds like? That sounds like someone
- 9:18Speaker 1: got the spelling. Yeah, put their hands on the keyboard
- 9:21Speaker 1: and didn't have them like correctly on the home screen
- 9:24Speaker 1: and just decided to type what they believed the name
- 9:27Speaker 1: was and didn't double check.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, stop, look, I'm doing it right now.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Every single it's just one letter of right.
- 9:35Speaker 1: That's funny.
- 9:36Speaker 4: They just never looked down.
- 9:38Speaker 1: They never checked at once.
- 9:45Speaker 3: This is sorry, not sorry. We say the thing you're thinking,
- 9:48Speaker 3: but are too polite to say. We die on the
- 9:50Speaker 3: hill of controversial opinions, so you don't have to, all right, Gabe,
- 9:55Speaker 3: what is it burning you up inside that you have
- 9:58Speaker 3: to get off your chest now?
- 9:59Speaker 1: I don't think that this is a much of a
- 10:01Speaker 1: hot take. It's probably something most people would agree with.
- 10:04Speaker 1: But I do believe you're too polite to say so
- 10:07Speaker 1: that part is very true today. So I'm gonna go
- 10:09Speaker 1: ahead and do this for you. Okay, if you are
- 10:12Speaker 1: at a busy function where people need to walk around,
- 10:18Speaker 1: get out of the way. If you see someone that
- 10:23Speaker 1: you would like to stop and chitchat with. It is
- 10:27Speaker 1: amazing how there can be, you know, like a walking
- 10:30Speaker 1: path right and all of a sudden you just see
- 10:33Speaker 1: two individuals who start chatting up a storm, and that's wonderful.
- 10:37Speaker 1: I hope you get to reconnect and ask each other
- 10:39Speaker 1: how their day is or whatever. Could you do me
- 10:41Speaker 1: one favor, though, could you do it thirty six inches okay,
- 10:46Speaker 1: three feet one yard to the right or left so
- 10:51Speaker 1: you don't derail an entire part full of people trying
- 10:54Speaker 1: to walk through the event.
- 10:56Speaker 3: All right?
- 10:56Speaker 1: I mentioned this a lot here on The Big ninety
- 10:58Speaker 1: eight point seven Morning Show, but I would love to
- 11:01Speaker 1: start living my life with this level or lack thereof,
- 11:05Speaker 1: of self awareness. Imagine seeing an entire park full of
- 11:09Speaker 1: people behind you on a walkway and you decide, you know, hey,
- 11:14Speaker 1: you know what actually self standing right in the middle
- 11:17Speaker 1: of this is what I'm gonna do. To catch up
- 11:20Speaker 1: with Linda as we enjoyed the remaining summer and fall weather,
- 11:25Speaker 1: and we're out at the Farmers' Market. So you're going
- 11:27Speaker 1: to football games, all right, you're in the Fargo Dome
- 11:29Speaker 1: or any other activity with groups of people. All right,
- 11:33Speaker 1: let's up our self awareness for a few more months. Okay,
- 11:35Speaker 1: once it starts to get freezing outside, you can go
- 11:38Speaker 1: back to thinking the world revolves around you, because right now,
- 11:42Speaker 1: right now, the world definitely has to walk around you.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Gabe, thank you for saying all of these things. It
- 11:49Speaker 3: has been in my heart and you have spoken it
- 11:52Speaker 3: out into the world.
- 11:53Speaker 4: Everyone take milk.
- 12:00Speaker 1: What do you miss the most about high school? You know,
- 12:03Speaker 1: it's crazy last week and then this week. There are
- 12:06Speaker 1: some individuals in the FM area and then coming up
- 12:09Speaker 1: in September who are walking into their very first day
- 12:14Speaker 1: of high school. Yeah, or their first last day of
- 12:17Speaker 1: high school.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Yeah. Aiden, my Aiden, he's starting high school. In fact,
- 12:22Speaker 3: I think like the open houses tonight, but he's starting
- 12:25Speaker 3: high school on Wednesday.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:28Speaker 3: And so I've been that annoying mom who has been
- 12:31Speaker 3: reminiscing about high school all weekend long, and he's like,
- 12:36Speaker 3: I get it.
- 12:37Speaker 4: You had a good time.
- 12:39Speaker 1: It was fun.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Yeah, Well, because you know, I wanted to give him
- 12:43Speaker 3: something hopeful to look forward to. He's a little nervous
- 12:45Speaker 3: about it. Yeah, about starting high school. I like, there's
- 12:47Speaker 3: so many great things in high school. It's not the end,
- 12:50Speaker 3: I'll be all. You definitely don't want to peek in
- 12:52Speaker 3: high school.
- 12:53Speaker 4: But there's a lot that's fun, and there's a lot
- 12:56Speaker 4: that I miss personally.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Well, Like, so what do you miss the most? You
- 13:00Speaker 1: can give us a top two or three?
- 13:01Speaker 3: Maybe, Oh I miss I was a theater kid, and
- 13:04Speaker 3: so I just miss like staying after school for yeah,
- 13:08Speaker 3: for the long rehearsals and you become like family with
- 13:11Speaker 3: your castmates, and it's so fun, such a vibe, and honestly,
- 13:15Speaker 3: if it wasn't for being a theater kid, I don't
- 13:17Speaker 3: know that I would have ended up in radio. So
- 13:20Speaker 3: I owe a great deal to those theater days. That's
- 13:23Speaker 3: what I missed the most. What about you you miss
- 13:25Speaker 3: something about high school?
- 13:27Speaker 1: The two biggest things are probably equal, But you know,
- 13:30Speaker 1: I miss being on the sports teams, playing hockey and
- 13:32Speaker 1: baseball and all that. That was a great time. And
- 13:35Speaker 1: I also miss just literally getting to well, you don't
- 13:38Speaker 1: just hang out all day because you're supposed to be learning,
- 13:41Speaker 1: but I was hanging out. So I miss hanging out
- 13:46Speaker 1: with my buddies all day, every day pretty much, and
- 13:48Speaker 1: then after school, you know you're hanging out again. Yeah,
- 13:50Speaker 1: there's a point in time where I was hanging out
- 13:52Speaker 1: with my for the most part, good friends for upwards
- 13:54Speaker 1: of like ten hours a day or something.
- 13:56Speaker 4: Yeah, a lot of.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Times you see your friends and your teachers more than
- 13:59Speaker 3: you see your own parents and your own siblings.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Depending on their work schedule too, for sure.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Seven one two eight o one nine eight seven. What
- 14:07Speaker 3: do you miss about high school? We asked this on
- 14:11Speaker 3: the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page.
- 14:13Speaker 4: And the comments went out of control. There were so many.
- 14:17Speaker 4: We had some good ones, Barb this one.
- 14:20Speaker 3: I feel deep in my soul, my bones not making
- 14:23Speaker 3: noises when I get up.
- 14:25Speaker 1: So true. It's so true, so true.
- 14:27Speaker 3: The body I had in high school, I took it
- 14:29Speaker 3: for granted, but I could just like get up really
- 14:33Speaker 3: quickly and sprint from one place to another, and nothing
- 14:36Speaker 3: was cracking her.
- 14:37Speaker 4: My back wasn't like, oh no.
- 14:39Speaker 1: How sad is this? Angie and I are both in
- 14:41Speaker 1: our young and mid thirties, and anytime we hear like
- 14:44Speaker 1: a knee crack, a foot, a back, whatever, we immediately
- 14:48Speaker 1: like eyebrow raise, look at each other. Now, did you
- 14:50Speaker 1: hear that?
- 14:51Speaker 2: One?
- 14:51Speaker 5: One? Here we go?
- 15:01Speaker 1: Is there something you bought that wasn't very expensive? And you,
- 15:06Speaker 1: you know, you kind of you just hope, hope and
- 15:09Speaker 1: pray for the best. This thing will work or it
- 15:11Speaker 1: won't be, you know, cheap, and it ended up being
- 15:15Speaker 1: like the dopest thing you bought that month seven oh
- 15:17Speaker 1: one two, eight zero one nine, eight to seven. What
- 15:21Speaker 1: did you buy that was cheap? But it was amazing.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Quite literally that.
- 15:26Speaker 3: The one and only thing that comes to mind, and
- 15:28Speaker 3: I just used it, is this silicone scalp scrubber.
- 15:32Speaker 4: So I don't wash my hair very often.
- 15:35Speaker 3: And most ladies, I think, are in this boat where
- 15:39Speaker 3: your hair looks good on like day two or day
- 15:42Speaker 3: three of dirty hair. Like you wash your hair and
- 15:46Speaker 3: you can kind of stretch that out for a few
- 15:48Speaker 3: days before you wash again. But that means you're using
- 15:52Speaker 3: dry shampoo. And so a lot of dry shampoo builds
- 15:55Speaker 3: up in my hair, and.
- 15:57Speaker 4: That can cause flakes and all that.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Anyway, this silicone scalp scrubber, when you wash your hair,
- 16:03Speaker 3: you just use it and it helps get rid of
- 16:05Speaker 3: all the gunk that has built up in your hair
- 16:07Speaker 3: and it's magical and wonderful. I saw this thing on
- 16:11Speaker 3: an Instagram ad from a questionable looking website and yeah,
- 16:18Speaker 3: and it was only five dollars and when I clicked
- 16:22Speaker 3: on the link, it was like, you've unlocked free shipping.
- 16:25Speaker 4: Okay, that sounds what.
- 16:26Speaker 3: I read me, But I thought, who cares give all
- 16:30Speaker 3: my card information to this website? And I did, and
- 16:35Speaker 3: thankfully my identity wasn't stolen. And the silicon scalp scrubber
- 16:40Speaker 3: arrived at my house within the week, and it is
- 16:45Speaker 3: a lifesaver. In fact, I left it in a different
- 16:49Speaker 3: city once and I had the person who I visited
- 16:53Speaker 3: mail it back to me and I like, yeah, and
- 16:56Speaker 3: I paid for the shipping and whatever. I was like, no,
- 16:58Speaker 3: I need the silicone because I have some at the
- 17:01Speaker 3: grocery store now, like I've seen them, but they're not
- 17:04Speaker 3: exactly like my magical one that I got from the
- 17:06Speaker 3: questionable website. And what website was it, I don't know.
- 17:09Speaker 3: I've never seen it again. I should start talking about
- 17:11Speaker 3: it more. Maybe it'll pop up. The phone is always listening.
- 17:14Speaker 4: Silicone scalp scrubber, come on.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Phone seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 17:21Speaker 1: We do have Andy on the phone, Andy, would you
- 17:22Speaker 1: buy that was pretty cheap but ended up being pretty dope?
- 17:25Speaker 1: I would do a thrift store and I bought some
- 17:27Speaker 1: fast suit I ever owned. It fits like a glove
- 17:30Speaker 1: and I wear it all the time and think it
- 17:32Speaker 1: only costs like about fifty bucks. That's awesome if you
- 17:35Speaker 1: can find those I don't know, like things you don't
- 17:38Speaker 1: buy a lot time often? Do you really need to
- 17:40Speaker 1: buy a suit? Right?
- 17:42Speaker 4: And then when you do, it's like, oh, it's so expensive.
- 17:46Speaker 1: You can find things like that at a thrift store
- 17:48Speaker 1: or get them used or secondhand or around the word
- 17:50Speaker 1: you want to use. It really can help save a
- 17:52Speaker 1: lot of money. And I one of my favorite things
- 17:55Speaker 1: I ever bought that was pretty cheap and it doesn't
- 17:58Speaker 1: really function is anything. Do you remember when I bought
- 18:01Speaker 1: the you know on a truck right in the back
- 18:03Speaker 1: where you would plow put in like a trailer. Yes,
- 18:06Speaker 1: that it's called a receiver, right.
- 18:08Speaker 6: Well.
- 18:09Speaker 1: I bought this little cap that goes in and kind
- 18:11Speaker 1: of plugs that.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Do you remember, Oh that's right, yes, And it has
- 18:13Speaker 4: a Viking on it.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Yes.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I love that thing, and it was like thirteen bucks.
- 18:18Speaker 1: It just looks cool. It kind of helps keep some
- 18:21Speaker 1: of the dirt and grime and stuff out of that,
- 18:22Speaker 1: But mostly I just bought it for looks as opposed
- 18:25Speaker 1: to some type of function.
- 18:27Speaker 4: It is really cool.
- 18:28Speaker 3: So this morning we were driving to work and you
- 18:31Speaker 3: were actually in front of me and Mikey was driving.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Mikey drives me to work every day, which is so nice.
- 18:36Speaker 3: I'm just Passinger Princess. But it was kind of dark,
- 18:39Speaker 3: so he was like, who's in front? Is that Gabe
- 18:41Speaker 3: in front of us? I was like, I can't tell,
- 18:44Speaker 3: and then he looked down at the cap and he goes, oh, yeah,
- 18:46Speaker 3: that's him, the little Viking cap.
- 18:47Speaker 4: And I was like, okay, all right.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Do you remember it was a while back we had
- 18:58Speaker 1: a sorry not sorry, and I base went into like,
- 19:01Speaker 1: you know, just because you haven't had your coffee yet
- 19:04Speaker 1: does not give you the excuse to go off and
- 19:07Speaker 1: be rude and be a horrible co worker or a
- 19:10Speaker 1: mean partner, yeah or whatever. Well, this kind of gives
- 19:16Speaker 1: people like that a tiny bit of an out. So
- 19:19Speaker 1: I don't want to say I was wrong, Okay.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I don't imagine you ever want to say
- 19:24Speaker 3: you're wrong, but it does.
- 19:25Speaker 1: It does give these individuals a bit of an out. Okay,
- 19:29Speaker 1: there is a study that has sadly shown that coffee
- 19:34Speaker 1: can improve your mood. How many cups have you had
- 19:38Speaker 1: that I've only had one that explains No, I'm just kidding. Wow,
- 19:43Speaker 1: I'm just kidding. But also in the study, regular caffeine
- 19:50Speaker 1: consumers immediately reported feeling happier and more enthusiastic after a
- 19:56Speaker 1: cup of coffee or some other caffeine all right, and
- 19:59Speaker 1: that joy typically lingers for about two and a half hours,
- 20:04Speaker 1: and which is kind of crazy. The boost was more
- 20:06Speaker 1: obvious in the morning then later in the day or
- 20:09Speaker 1: not kind of crazy, I'm sorry, kind of more obviously
- 20:12Speaker 1: that's the boost in the morning because most people, you know,
- 20:13Speaker 1: it's not like a ton of people are housing a
- 20:15Speaker 1: cup of coffee at three in the afternoon.
- 20:17Speaker 3: No.
- 20:17Speaker 1: You know.
- 20:17Speaker 3: What I always struggle with, though, is that I'll be
- 20:20Speaker 3: at the house and it'll be four pm and I'm like.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Do I want a night coffee?
- 20:24Speaker 3: Yeah? Right?
- 20:24Speaker 4: And my kids always like, no, what are you talking about?
- 20:27Speaker 4: You have to go to sleep?
- 20:28Speaker 1: Yeah right.
- 20:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Well, you know how, once you know how you can
- 20:32Speaker 1: the easiest way to annoy your partner is if you
- 20:36Speaker 1: ask them in the morning, the question like, oh, did
- 20:39Speaker 1: someone not sleep well or did someone get up on
- 20:41Speaker 1: the wrong side of the bed? You know it rude.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Well now you could just be Now you can ask genuinely,
- 20:47Speaker 1: oh have you not had your coffee yet?
- 20:49Speaker 4: You'd still get snacked.
- 20:56Speaker 1: This is a story right out of Minnesota this month. Primo,
- 21:02Speaker 1: who is a young worker. He works at this you
- 21:05Speaker 1: know kitchen bar thing in Minnesota. Right, he lost his
- 21:09Speaker 1: only means of getting around when, sadly, his bike was
- 21:13Speaker 1: stolen during one of his shifts. To help support him,
- 21:17Speaker 1: the restaurant's customers, owners, and staff bought a brand new
- 21:22Speaker 1: bike and surprised him with it. All Right, there's this
- 21:25Speaker 1: video that's gone viral everywhere on social media, and it's
- 21:27Speaker 1: showing Primo overwhelmed with gratitude, and it quickly went viral
- 21:33Speaker 1: and drew thousands of positive comments. What started out as
- 21:37Speaker 1: a bad day turned into a reminder that there is
- 21:41Speaker 1: a lot of good people in this world. So this
- 21:43Speaker 1: dude who bikes to work every day sadly loses that
- 21:47Speaker 1: and then you know, all these people banned together to
- 21:49Speaker 1: try to get him a bike. It's kind of a
- 21:50Speaker 1: lot like what we're doing with clear the cart with teachers.
- 21:53Speaker 1: If we all band together, we can all help them,
- 21:56Speaker 1: even in our own little ways.
- 21:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I love that. This makes me want to crime.
- 22:00Speaker 3: That's why I haven't really said anything.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Well, it's just a wonderful thing to remember. The world
- 22:06Speaker 1: is full of nice people. If you can't find one,
- 22:08Speaker 1: you got to be one. If you are on your
- 22:09Speaker 1: way to your first day of classes, for maybe it's
- 22:12Speaker 1: your first college class ever, congratulations and we help you
- 22:16Speaker 1: enjoy your day. And good luck to all of those
- 22:19Speaker 1: students starting school today. Here from Big ninety eight point
